Quite an emotional dream. Long dream, poor recall. Vividness: 8 Recall: 6 Overall: 4 Non-Lucid Lucid Comment At centre parcs again, with my family, my dad has a massive go for some reason, my mum appologies. So real, there was no way I could have known it was a dream.
Non-Lucid (Sidenotes) Lucid Dream (Another short but sweet entry about a lucid dream. I think I may have become lucid due to a false awakening but I am not sure. The past month or two, I have noticed that I become nearly automatically lucid when I experiencing a false awakening.) Things were a tiny bit blurry at first. I was a bit hesitant but told myself I was dreaming so I did a reality check (poke finger through palm of hand) and it did not work I don't think but I KNEW I was dreaming. Things were a bit blurry so I rubbed my hands together and told myself I was dreaming and I could see my vision slowly become clear and a bit vivid. It was one of the first times I honestly noticed the difference. I got out of bed and walked into the living room where there was a random dog curled up on the floor. I looked at him/her and thought that if I snapped my fingers, they would be gone because I didn't want them there and wanted to see what would happen. I snapped my fingers and the dogs back end disappeared but it's head and maybe tail (which was attached to its head) was still there. I carried on, told myself I was dreaming and rubbed my hands which helped AGAIN. I finally got to the porch where my Mom was sitting in the car. She tried telling me to wake up. I didn't want to and was about to leave whens he just kind of demanded "WAKE UP!" and a few moments later, I lost my lucid.
Dream - Lucid There was some plot line to this dream, but for the life of me, I can't remember what it was. I was in a dim room, sitting on a dark red couch with my best friend Mk and someone else, though I'm not sure who. I think it was a guy. Mk was sitting in between this other person and me. I started to feel really tired, so I cuddled up next to Mk and laid my head on her shoulder to fall asleep. I felt her lay her head on mine as my eyes closed to go to sleep. The next thing I know, I'm up and walking around outside in a parking lot. It was sometime in the evening; the sun was starting to set. Someone from a big, white van yells to me "Hey! Krista!" I turn to my right, and I see the outline of a person in this van. I could only see the outline due to a huge glare in my vision from the sun. At first I thought it was Ryan, but as I got closer, it was a guy in about his mid-20s with brown hair. He looked very youthful; you could see it in his eyes. I had no idea who he was, though. He kept talking to me, and I kept responding, when suddenly, he said "You have no idea who I am, do you?" When he said that, I looked at him, and he looked like this polysomnographic sleep technician (who is a woman) I worked with the other night in waking life. She has short brown hair in a pixie cut. I kept thinking maybe it was her, but something in the back of my head said I was wrong. I ignored the comment and kept talking to the person. They didn't seem to notice that I had avoided their question.
So as of a recent visit to a college at a football game I have been obsessed with going to college and living in a dorm and stuff like that. Anyways this dream started out where I was turning in an assignment I think and because i turned it in I now was going to go to college (I'm really not sure if that's it but it's my best guess). So I remember then being at this apartment kind of thing with my friend Gavin. I was worried because I didnt want to become room mates with him because i tought we would get tired of each other and it would ruin out friendship. So then I remember going inside the building which resembled a two level apartment building with the stairs outside and all that stuff. So I went in and I guess Gavin and I were going to become room mates. I was skeptical of this whole idea since I am only a sophomore in high school and this was highly unlikely to happen. So as we went through the building the scene sort of rendered as I went, it like had to load up the objects and stuff it seemed. So anyways I continued on inside just looking where I would be staying, then I found out my buddy cole was going to be living with us. I was worried again but they re assured me it would be fun! So I kinda got happy, we went outside onto our driveway where these kids were there, while we walked my friends talked about the crappy bmx bike my friend pat bought from a kid that I had seen before. In reality my friend is actually selling his bmx and didn't buy one. So we got out there and this little kids started yelling at us because we were on their street and we told them it was our driveway. I turned around to hi five my friends and I hi fived one and missed the other and fell backward. Then I remember my mon scolding me about how going to college right now was illogical and won't happen.
I don't know even know where this thing started. I remember talking to this Indian guy on the phone about the appointment I had today. They said it was at 11:30...I didn't think much about it.....I can't figure out for the life of me when I actually got lucid. I remember throwing things around with telekinesis and flying. There were a lot of DC's. I was in a fight with one....one of those super tough ones, but I don't know what happened...maybe that triggered it. I summoned LL to find out what her problem was, and as soon as she showed up, some other girl was about to fight her. I broke them up, and there was big crowd behind both of us, and one of the guy DC's was looking at me like he wanted some. I told him he was barking up the wrong tree and as soon as he tried rushing me I gave him a three piece combo, and made this fence materialize between us. I decided to test my hand at flying, but I put a twist to it. I was flying magneto style for a bit. Music started playing, so I continued dancing, while flying. It was like I was walking on air. I saw my car below, so I landed on it, and flew off with it while it was under my feet. It was harder to get a good altitude with the car though, and when I landed I saw my fathers truck rushing me. I stopped it with my bare hands and woke up
14.07.2011Shopping Mall (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID In a really fancy and bright shopping mall. It's really.. urban with a slightly retro feel. I met up with a bunch of friends upstairs against a glass window. We were sitting against it with our legs stretched out infront of us. Around the corner walks a two tigers held on leashes by a guy. They looked really cartoony chinese styled like Sai from Naruto's ink tigers. One was white with orange stripes, one was while with blue and orange streaks. I found them really beautiful. [img] [/img] Like this ^ The dream scene changes and i'm sitting on a cushiony couch against another glass window. Looking out the glass window, there are many people below, shopping. This place has a really lively but relaxed feel to it, all the colours of the shop very vibrant. I could really feel the cushion underneath my butt.. (I'd been practicing ADA alot around this time) The colour of the cushion i was sitting on was red. Next to me sat my brother's friend in real life, Francis. We semt like good friends in this dream. However, i've never spoken to him in my life. Somewhere in this dream there was also a girl aswell.. i can't recall where, but it's written in my notes >_<
Ohai! Last night I had a cool dream about the bands Lights and Owl City. I'm a huge Owl City fan, so I'll post some pictures in this entry. Hey, it's not every night you have a dream about him, right? Lucid Non-lucid Thoughts Sleeping Owl City: Okay, long story short: I had a friend a while ago, actually it was my best friend. We lost the contact, and yes, I miss her a lot. We were both huge Owl City fans. Owl City was playing in Denmark a few days ago. Lights and Owl City are good friends, so, I guess that's why they're in the same dream. I just don't get why I was to Lights' concert, because I'm not a fan of her, but okay, it was also a dream. Owl City = Adam Young. My friend and I was going to a concert with a band called Lights. We had really great seats, and was almost so close at the scene as possible. We were standing in the right side, and beside us there was some stairs, but there wasn't anyone in the little "room", but we could see it clear. Lights came out with black clothes on, and the music started, and all the lights (haha, funny ) began to blink in different colours. I looked down in the room with the stairs, and saw Owl City (Adam Young). He was wearing his white shirt and black vest. He looked really tired, and we said "Hi Adam!" and he said "Hi!" and smiled. We looked up at the stage, and listened to Lights a few minuttes again. We loooked down at Adam again, and saw that he was sleeping. He lay on his rights side, and was sleeping. We walked down to him, and laughed. That's all I can remember.
14.07.2011Fragments (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I had recently watched Inception.. I was talking to Cobbs about his crazy wife. (False memories: we had been friends for a long time and time travelled.. when we came back, his wife had already grown old.) It was a dark room with a dim light overhead. There was a table and chair in the centre with an old wind-up dial. Cobb was sitting on the chair talking on the phone. On the other end of the phone was his wife. She had no idea who Cobb was and was asking questions like "Cobb? Is that you? COME BACK, I NEED YOU!" Cobb looked torn. He didn't know what to do. I walked over to him and put my hand on his shoulder. "She's gone, dude.. I'm sorry.." Cobb starts crying.. I don't know why i said that, I woke up and felt pretty bad about it :/
non dream non-lucid dream lucid dream Okay. I'm gonna record two dreams from last night. The second one is little more than a fragment, but it interested me so I'm gonna put it down anyway. I stood in the church, rubbing my sore neck. The muscles were very tight. I believe I had gotten to the church a little early and everyone was just socializing. The guy I like and his friend came over to me. His friend rubbed my neck with his hand. It seemed to make (okay fine I'll say his name) Caleb upset. When his friend said, "You've got a real tight knot here. I'll get it." he pushed his friend (not in a mean way, but to say "hey buddy, don't touch her") He gave Caleb this "what in the world is with you?" look. Caleb turned to my and started to ... hmm I can't remember if he actually rubbed my neck or not, but I think he did. After that, he leaned in close to my face (just like in that one dream) and was close enough to kiss me. He looked ready to, but his friend made him leave or something. My friend Scotty (who is an old man XD haha I'm just kidding he's 21) came up to me and gave me this huge grin. "I saw that! He was going to kiss you!" I believe is what he said. I suddenly realized that this didn't seem normal, and I didn't remember getting to church. I looked at Scotty and said, "This is a dream." He looked at me, bewildered. I said it again, "Scotty, this is a dream! I'm dreaming!" Scotty looked a little worried and didn't say anything. He just stared at me. I looked behind my shoulder, and lo and behold, Caleb was there talking to someone. I walked up to him, but before I could reach him, I woke up. DREAM 2: I was at church again. It looked the same as it did during the last dream. I didn't remember being lucid in my previous dream. I only remembered what Caleb had done and what Scotty had told me. I pranced up to Scotty, "Heeeey remember what happened earlier?" He thought for a moment and shook his head. I gave him a face that looked like -_- and said pointed to the drumset (which was where HE was). Scotty went, "Ohhh. Yeah I remember." I went and said, "Hey, are we playing guitar tonight?" He nodded and we jumped up to the stage. Somehow I ended up playing bass instead of guitar. (I usually play bass anyway so it didn't bother me.) After a while I was in the back of the church. Something bad was happening, but I don't remember what. I woke up soon after that. I think it's so cool when dreams are linked together like that.
07.10.2011Lucid Dream #14 - WILD (WILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID This was during an afternoon nap when i decided to WILD ^__^ the dream was fairly brief. After I transitioned (I didn't feel the transition) I heard a rough rock song. It sounded like the emo band Senses FAil. Then I heard "Is She Really Going Out with Him" by Kid Courageous. I was in my room and there was a girl outside of my door.. I'm not sure who she was. Then the dream scene changed but the music still played. I was standing infront of a few huts that were build on the side of a beach. The water was very beautiful and clear, the beach with nice yellow sand. It was a really nice scenery. I said outloud in the dream "No, Korean," referring to the music. The music changed to the song "Gee" by SNSD, a korean girl band. (Youtube link below) [/video]
12.07.2011Lucid Dream #13 - semi lucid (MILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I don't recall much of this but I know i didn't have any control. I was in a room and there was something about fried rice.
11.07.2011Weird board (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I can't see anything, it's all black. "Jeremy, you might want to wake up, shit's getting harder," says a familiar voice. I look up, it's Hamish talking to me. It's my Extension Maths class, but we're in one of my old english classrooms (we call the dungeon). We're sitting towards the back of the classroom. The problem on the board was something like 7(^2) - 5(^2)x5(^5). It was basic, but i couldn't really see the board properly.. it was angled weird. My teacher then called my name out and started taking out packages out of a cardboard box. I get out of my seat and walk towards the front of the classroom. I stood at a nearby desk and started unwrapping my package.. It had a couple of layers, first bubble wrap and then foam, well protected. Out came a laptop, very slim and red. It was quite shiny, too ^__^ I went back to my seat while the other guys in my class got their packages. (There's not many people in my class.. 6 guys and 2 girls? I take an extension course.) My laptop was hacked and brought from home, which meant everything was unlocked. I checked MSN and remember having a couple of desktop contacts, Sean and Alex (Dark_Merlin). Alex said I should play some DotA and I alt tabbed to a windows explorer window to open up Warcraft 3. I don't remember Alex being in the scene before this (he doesn't go to the same school as me). For some reason.. I freaked out. In the end of the dream when everyone had gotten their packages, Alex didn't get one and was upset by it . <3 Alex. It's okay.
Terrible recall this night, just a couple fragments. One of me and my dad sitting in the livingroom, him asking me where his guitars are. "Nylon one is with me, one steel guitar is with a friend of mine and the other one is here". The other fragment involves me and my sister throwing a couple of balls around in our house. The balls had some meaning I forgot, there was also something rather meaningful on my computer/desk that I can't seem to recall.
Pretty poor recall last night. I'm gonna start waking up in the middle of the night briefly to gather my dreams, as I seem to get my best recall that way. 1) My Dad and his mate went on a week holiday to Japan. I was really jealous of my Dad as I knew I'd appreciate the Japanese culture more than he would. Me and 2 female friends who I cannot recall her chilling on the side of my bed closest to my door. We were talking about 'pussy', I believe XD But in a jokey, toilet-humour way - not flirtatious. I knew it would be fine as I didn't think my dad would be coming home until about 4am. It was probably about 12am, and it was pitch black in my room. Possibly the next morning, I was talking to my Dad. He said that he came home early and had been hearing everything. Initially I as embarrassed, but it didn't really bother me eventually. I asked him how Japan was - he said it was pretty good, but wasn't talking about it much. I kept questioning him about landmarks such as Fuji - he saw mount Fuji, and was amazed at how wide and perfectly diagonal it is. I agreed. 2) Me and my friends were sat at a long, narrow, oval shaped dinner table. We were all sat around it having a fish based meal. I think the occasion was a friend's birthday, but I really can't remember much. It was dark in the dining room, but candles lit the dining area. I think I was drinking Budweiser with my meal. We eventually decided to leave the table and chill in a room to the left of me. I think it was like a conservatory, and we were going to have more drinks in there.
11.07.2011School? (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Driving down a familiar street.. I hear my english teacher's voice tell me that 'we' were lucky to stay in the advanced english class. I commen saying "Shoudln't the head teacher be the best teacher?" Dream scene changes- I'm in my primary school library, sitting on one of the soft cushiony lounges. There are a few other people in the library with me, they're reading books. There's an overhead projector set up, but it's just for display. Above is the technology room from my high school. I notice that something is weird but i don't quite pick up that i'm dreaming.
