Oct.22, Sunday, no nap, some beer, bed at 11pm, woke up from a dream at 5.30am. I was with some friends looking for a new place with help of a realtor; Then I'm giving a ride to some girls, but one of them is driving, because we were going down some steep hill and I didn't want to drive that way. We arrive to town and I drop them of in front of store called Target. But they forget to give me my keys, so I follow them through some security checkpoint, which is no longer to the store, but to the cruise ship. To my surprise, I get through without any problem. Another dream at 7.48am - again with some unpleasant people from my past.
I had two dreams on this day. The first was about a holiday. My brother, dad and I all got out of our car, and it was significantly cooler outside. The breeze was quite refreshing. We were parked next to a long field. It looked quite healthy, and the sun was up and everything was sweet! We had to walk across the field, where there was a gap in the trees. Through the gap, there was a courtyard type street, with a small swimming pool and small wooden shed, which happened to be a shop. We didn't go in, but the door was open and we could see that the man was old, and selling inflatables, which were dusty and bleached by the light coming through the window. There was also a hotel, which dad said was ours. On the inside, it was more like an apartment, with a reception and everything was square, and business like. We went up two flights of stairs, each with a painting on the wall on the way up. Both the paintings were the same, and the first floor was exactly the same as the ground floor. On the second floor, though, there was three doors leading to bedrooms. Two on the left corridoor, and one at the end. The corridoor was really short, though. Probably only about three or four meters long. We went into our room, and dad started unpacking. My brother and I were looking around our room, which had one bed, and a desk. Two women came in, wearing suits. They must have been between twenty and twenty five, and one of them was black. They asked if my brother and I would like to come and hang out with them whilst dad unpacked. Ross decided to stay, but I went. They had the room that was at a right angle to ours. They had a double bed at the far side of the room, and on the left they had a desk with a laptop on it. There was a table to the right, which one of the women sat on. There was a window behind the table, and next to the bed was a fold up mini trampoline. We talked about the trampoline, and then I went on the trampoline, and that's as far as I can remember.
My mind was too tired to give me a lucid, and I tried a bit too hard I guess. My mind gave me very chaotic dreams pieced together from loads of different details, I suspect I wasn't asleep very heavily. My conscious missed so many cues and dream signs when I woke up I felt like slapping myself. I faintly remember two dreams though: First Dream: We were playing badminton, me, my brother, my dad, my mum, my sister, my sister's friend and her mum. I'm usually good at it, so I expected to win in a team that consisted of me, my brother and a random guy. However, I found I couldn't even hit the shuttle, and they quickly won 30:4 although I counted their points to be around 8. I got pissed off and went to my mum's and dad's Halal restaurant (we don't own a Halal restaurant and we're Catholic in real life) and complained, but they just told me to go away. Since it was time for my next school lesson (turned out the badminton was in PE), I grabbed my trumpet case and walked out, but then realised that it had to trumpet in it. A girl walked up to me and opened her case with my trumpet and gave it to me. I took out her mouthpiece and gave it back to her, asking how she got my trumpet, to which she replied something I can't remember. She walked away. Second Dream: Same setting, my front garden in Poland. A very noisy rubbish truck was on my lawn driving towards the gate. My dad got a motorbike and followed it, my brother got like a bicycle-motorcycle thing and got on it, and he held a bicycle next to it so that I could keep up with them by being pulled by my brother. We pulled up to the right of the guy, who was black with sunglasses and a cigarette. I saw that somehow traffic lights were installed on the gate to my house. Finally, the gate opened and we drove out. The guy went left, we followed him. He sped off into the distance along with my dad on his motorcycle, me and my brother had a bit of trouble keeping balance. In the middle of the road we fell off, and both laughed. When we got back on and reached the crossroads of the next street, there was no sign of the rubbish truck left, just my dad, and he told us a joke which I thought I had heard before. My brother found it funny. Then we drove up to the church on that street, although irl it does not exist, and we went inside. We navigated the various pews, tables and confessionals until we found a table that was empty. My brother told me to sit down at it, so I did, while he sat in the pew in front with an old woman. Then the mass began and something happened, I don't know what, but it boosted me to a level of lucidity. The church suddenly disappeared in a blue matrix-like pattern, and I could see my brother's face saying that we finally made it to lucidity. I flew across a space, then lost my lucidity again: it was a very unstable dream all along. Then there was something with a Rihanna video, and then something about Doctor Who and computer programs and my friends, but I can't remember what. The End
I had this dream last night, I'm late to record, here's what I can remember. I was in a zombie takeover, the few remaining survivors had gathered in wal-mart. We needed AA batteries for some reason and ammunition for the few guns we had, which I distinctly remember were mine, I provided them. A female survivor tells me all the AA batteries in the main battery aisle have been used up. We'll have to sneak some from the front. We quietly walk to the front by the registers, and find one of those battery kiosks. I grab one of the big packs and say something akin to "glad that's over with." We then head to the back to get the ammunition, I had to remind her of this and as we're heading to the back of the store, the dream ends.
I am restarting my dream journal after about 7 months off, due to neglect. BTW, I hate this new format, I like to have a thread with all my dreams in it, since these journals are mostly for us am I right? Anyways, 2/26/11- Had a dream last night that I met Andrew Zimmern from "Bizarre Foods." He started by telling me some of the places he had been, and we actually did try some bizarre foods. I can't remember what we specifically tried though. I do remember as he was leaving he kind of flat out told me that he doesn't like me, I was really shocked. He said I basically asked him too many questions and wouldn't let him talk. As he left I asked him another question saying, this will be my last. I told him I was going to Vietnam in the summer and asked if he could recommend any good restaurants. His reply was "You're going to Vietnam, that'll be a journey." End of dream couple of things I noted, I'm not actually going to Vietnam, but I am going to Spain, definitely interesting. Also I kind of already have a good interpretation of this dream.
I was traveling, either to Dumaguete or to Manila. I was in a Ceres bus terminal. The place Bais also went to my mind. Solimar was there, when we were in the bus terminal's comfort room. Mood/Theme: faded yellow and black. Night. I was part of a sports team. Not sure what sport. There were a lot of us. It was after a game, or some time after a game. The coach will treat us to a restaurant. We're not sure what restaurant, so we opted for Mang Inasal (I'm not sure if it's called that in the dream). Coach ordered a "bucket" of chicken inasal, but I find it too small. And there's no rice. I wanted rice, so I ordered my own meal of chicken inasal with rice. I was on the airport. An airplane. I was going to Manila. The mood changed from dull yellow to sunny day.
I woke up at about 7am this morning, quickly stirred for a moment and managed to doze back off. This is where I entered a lucid dream that was reminiscent of a game I’ve been playing recently called Cities XL, which is like a more in depth version of Sim City. In this dream I built a floating city in the sky like the Cloud City in the Empire Strikes Back. Rather than explain what it looks like, I’ve included a diagram of the layout of the city. All the buildings were spirally and futuristic with air buses and hover cars flying around. I didn’t really place the buildings individually, but I remember zoning areas for things such as residences, businesses, a space port, and industrial complexes and the buildings kind of manifested themselves within the designated zones, much like the game. I specifically remember there being a large city hall with two massive carved stone monoliths on either side. For some reason, a detail that sticks out in my mind is the low income housing, which were cone shaped structures hanging off the underside of the giant platforms the city was built on. Even though it didn't last very long, it was still a pretty sweet dream
It was not a coincidence! Unless the conicidence happend again... I went to bed at the time app said and this night I had the most vivid dreams I have ever had! I keep saying that a lot I know, but it's progress I guess. These dreams didn't felt like dreams at all, they felt real from the moment they stopped to the moment they stopped! I woke up after each dream and thought "Why didn't I become lucid?!" and I told myself to realize that I was dreaming in the next dream. But my conscious focus changed and I dreamt a real feeling dream again, but I didn't realised that I was lucid. And this happend 5 times! So all I have to do now is to pracctise this and maybe even try to DEILD on some of these awakenings if I can remember. But this app was truley the best lucid aid that have ever existed!
This happened a while ago, it just now occurred to me to write about it. I was laying in bed, listening to music that was supposed to induce theta waves in the brain and help to cause an OBE. Suddenly, I felt the vibrations all through my body, the ones that signal that astral projection is about to happen. I got excited, but managed to concentrate on the vibrations. They intensified, running throughout my body. Then, I began to get the eerie feeling that I wasn't alone. There were other presences somewhere in the vicinity. I got the sense that they were either waiting for me or coming for me. Either way, I freaked the hell out. It took me a while to react, as I was in a state of paralysis, but I conjured the will to sit up, rip off my headphones, and turn on the lights. It frightened me so much that I still haven't tried it again.
I really can't remember anything from last night. But i think it's important that i still do an entry to enforce the habit. I was extremely tired when i went to bed and i think i was too exhausted to repeat my mantra as i drifted off. So i was completely engulfed in my dream. I was also quite high, which i hear doesnt help. Today I'm not going to smoke when i get home, and i'm going to go right to bed. Hopefully I will be able to at least recall my dreams tomorrow. And maybe get a little closer to an LD.
I was watching TV with my family (as I used to do before I moved to Taiwan) including some extended family and a girl I didn't know. Then I started trying to make energy balls between my hands and suddenly I knew I was dreaming. I sat where I was and looked around, wrung my hands a bit to stabilize the dream. This seemed to put the dream "more in focus" the brightness visibly changed. Then I got up to explore, trying not to get too excited and wake myself up. That happened anyway of course and I woke. This is my second night trying to get back into Lucid Dreaming. Rereading Stephen LaBerge's Exploring Lucid Dreaming. It's a good sign that I'm not completely hopeless.
I remember getting some bill/ticket in the mail for my Jeep (don't even own it anymore) and my pops was trying to get the info to help me pay it. I was more mad that I got the ticket, but some of it rolled over to him.
I'm going with J to school. I'm pretty late and I'm also pretty hungry. I think the clock said it was about 8:15 (school starts at 8). I went to grab some food before I go and I grab three items to eat while driving. I ask J to get the keys and I eat the first thing.
I'm with my son with D, trying to not be a jerk in front of my son but D is so boring I don't want it to wear off on my son. Then I'm with someone else fighting Vegeta on another planet that is very green with some sparse trees, maybe Namek. At the beginning of the fight I do the whole constipated powering up thing with my comrade, which was really fun. He is more evenly matched against Vegeta but is still getting beat. I'm firing tons of blue energy balls at Vegeta which are hitting but I avoid a direct confrontation because Vegeta is much stronger than I am. I also fire a few charged, larger energy balls which is pretty fun too. A few of my smaller energy ball barrages hit Vegeta and he falls out of the sky and I keep on hitting him (I forgot to mention we are all flying around really fast). Then I take this big glass dome, completely solid and clear, about 3 ft in diameter, it has something to do with the Dragon Balls, in my dream I think I thought it was the dragon balls. Anyways I took it and threw it as far as I could so Vegeta couldn't get it and obviously this was no normal throw but Vegeta still managed to catch it with his rather quick Saiyan reflexes. I tell him it was a nice catch. The whole time I am wanting to do the kaoken technique but I don't know how (which besides everything else, should have been a fairly good hint that it was a dream). For anyone who is wondering, this was an incredibly fun dream and ironically I had been planning on doing this when I became lucid the next time.
