    1. cxciii. Into the drawing, Self-aware McGee flying a plane

      Dream:

      I was sitting at a desk and there was a piece of paper; it was blank or had something recently drawn on it. I wanted to practice doing buildings and started off with a very simple rectangular one. I wasn't being able to keep the lines steady in any direction, which annoyed me.

      Then, next to this building, I started drawing another building starting with a sloping roof and then drawing in some windows but then quite soon I was drawing these small cross sections in parts of this building and these sections started draw themselves full of complete scenes of what the rooms were like. I kept drawing cross section bits and adding in small details and finding details adding themselves to the drawing. As I kept my focus on drawing, perceptually, it started to feel like I kept getting closer and closer to the paper.

      Very gradually and seamlessly, I entered one of these scenes but I could somehow still see things sort of in cross section, like in a 2.5D platformer game or something.

      I remember a few characters, there was an elephant lady on a bed in a room above or adjacent to the main view/focus; she had some lights on but it was otherwise dark in her room and she was sliding the end of her trunk on a grating to a ventilation shaft; this made noise that scared another character in a different room and I think that character became angry out of embarrassment or something.

      Later on, some bit where there was a nurse character, whose details I don't remember so well. I knocked her on the head with something massive and she went down (through the floor or over a mezzanine?) and something broke her fall, I think maybe me. I remember telling her "you idiot, this is my dream!". In the dream this was meant as some sort of explanation to the confusion she displayed when she realised she was fine after the hit and the fall. Nearby up some steps on a flat tier was a giant cobra, but in the dream I thought it was an adder, for some reason.

      Fragment:

      An earlier dream focused on NCIS, but which I don't care enough to make full note of the details. The dream focused on McGee and he was flying a small private jet and then someone is with him passes him a phone, with Gibbs on the line. In the dream it was like in the actual show, in terms of witticisms, humour and timings. McGee was more self-aware as a character than any other and questioned how could it be possible that Ducky and Gibbs were already at the scene in this other country he'd now be landing in at.



      Notes:

      - In the first dream, the whole thing reminded me a bit of the type of crazy and silly drawings in "finding Wally". I went through a few of those books quite often when I was younger. I don't know where those books are or if they were thrown away.

      - A lot of detail was missing from my recall but the from the moment the scenes started being filled in as I drew cross sections and windows, there was a huge amount of ornamental detailing to the scenes that made them feel overly complete.

      - I haven't seen a snake in my dreams for a while and I don't think I'd ever had an elephant in a dream before (hm, which also has a "snake" on its face?).

      - There was some kind of dark and red-ish lighting to the room/area the giant cobra was in.

      - The nurse did elicit some type of pre-lucid awareness, especially considering my remark to her confusion.

      - I slept quite poorly. My neck and lower teeth were aching as I wrote my notes and afterwards.

      1st June

      Dream:

      I was on a country road with H. We were walking along it when the road curved towards a big estate. There were tall and trimmed hedged along either side of the road. On the right side were some bushes partially under the shade of an oak. The bushes had bright cobalt-blue fruits. On closer inspection they looked like strawberries, in shape.

      I took one and ate it and it was sweet. I then told H I wanted to make jam with these cobalt berries and H said we couldn't take many but I started to pick the large berries into my pockets until I couldn't take any more.

      Some bit of the dream is missing, or there is a transition.

      Then we're inside the big estate place, but it was just like our home with a bigger scale for the rooms. I remember being in the kitchen and it looked regal or something.

      Dream Fragment:

      In some kind of museum or gallery, there were many objects on display, everything was lit from underneath. I remember there was this wide trunk or stump and I smashed it's side somehow. Its core was crystalline and I pulled out one piece.

      It was shaped like an amorphous animal. I suddenly had a long knife, and started carving it to look like a dog. It felt more like wood than crystal.



      Notes:
      - The second dream may have just been a run-on sequence from the first.
      - In the first dream, I remember it was sunny and it felt like it was a quiet road. I remember that the cobalt colour of the berries was particularly vivid.
      - At the time I think I had started making jam more often, a habit I have kept a bit by now. I like to make jam or jelly out of fruits other people might not consider, so maybe the exotic character of the berries and my desire to turn them into a jam might be interconnected.
      - I still have some visual memory of the second dream which allows me to make note that it looked a bit like that place in space odyssey, with the white floors and rooms at the end. It was darker than that because the light was focused on the displays though.
      - Looking back on this dream, I quite like the idea of the crystal and of carving it. To me, quite a while now since I had this dream, it feels analogous to some of my inner concepts around transformation and undefined forms, shapeshifting and so on. The carving is significant as a whole because carving and sculpting as a whole are of major interest to me but they aren't activities I've had much chance to work in. On top of that it deals with the subject of controlling matter and changing it.
    3. Interesting NLs and One Lucid - September 12-13

      I woke up and color-coded my dreams in a weird order (Red, then Blue, then Green instead of RGB or ROY G BIV). In my first NL, I'm in a strange competition where the teams of two have to come up with a piece of art and a story (but it can be derivative?). My parents and some older relatives (aunts, uncles) are also playing. I'm ambitious and want to try something we've never read before and reinterpret it and create something original from it within the timeframe (we have 1 day, or maybe 1 night, to complete it). Everyone else is cheating and making really simple art, which I'm frustrated at because I'm trying to create something good. This is all taking place in a long room with tables and chairs/stools set up, with large windows that have whitish light coming in. The entire room has a blue, overcast tint to it (it's been rainy lately, I think lighting in dreams could be an important dreamsign).

      The scene transitions and I'm in a brighter (incandescant) hallway looking at posters and diagrams. There are displays with black and white etchings or line drawings or diagrams of a man who reminds me of Nietzche in pugilist attire. The display (or a DC) says "engineers have been fascinated with the human body for hundresds (or thousands) of years". I get through the hallway and reach a balcony opening up on a room below (sort of like an operating theater but no separation). There are people in the room below, maybe related to the competition.

      I'm now in a blueish comic book store. It's dark outside and in front of me in line, there's a guy trying to buy a macbook. He doesn't pay (or should have in advance) and the cashier scolds him and shoos him out, giving him a warning. Me and the cashier go way back, and he mentions my competition. He suggests a pairing of characters from a fictional anime, and we debate eastern vs western art for a while. He shows me some pictures of the characters for reference. This all felt like one long connected dream.

      I'm in my childhood home backyard with my fiancee, we're playing ping-pong with some drunk guy. It's me and her against him, he has a big beard. The ball is bright orange and there's a black trash bag on the table. I miss a couple of balls (I might be drunk too) and feel bad. Suddenly the table is thinner length-wise (maybe it collapsed?). We keep losing balls and there's something on the ground (an unfamiliar dog or other creature?).

      I went to bed at 12:30am. The first NL I remember a variation of my reocurring intruder dream, but instead of the intruder, I walk into the hallway from my bedroom and see that the bathroom light is on. Our apartment's maintenance man is finally fixing our sink, but it's the middle of the night. At some point I have a fragment about the server that I've been working on for work.

      I wake around 3:50 and move my dog so he stops scratching his collar. Fall asleep and have some NLs. In the next one I remember, I'm in a play place. Think McDonald's with tubes and such, but along the floor only, much too small, and made out of those pop-up tents that resemble windshield sun shades with holes in them. I'm with my fiancee, we're crawling through on hands and knees through the holes. She's ahead of me and I have to expend a lot of effort to get through. There are cobwebs all around, and some small items are stuck in them. I remember vividly that there were a lot of bees/wasps on the ground. As we crawl towards the back, my fiancee finds a large blue crystal ring. We get in a fight about it. A female therapist appears, and she sides with my fiancee. I become irate.

      I'm now walking into a room with some old ladies. It's a slightly dim, carpeted, beige room with the curtains drawn but light still filtering in around the edges. I'm naked, and the old ladies, who are sitting in chairs along one of the walls, are looking at me out of the corners of their eyes. I'm standing behind my fiancee (or another DC) after entering the room to try and hide. Eventually something clicks and I realize how ridiculous the situation is, and I look at my hands and become lucid! The old ladies' chair positions have moved, their backs are to the windows now and they're looking directly at me. Some old men (more men than there are ladies) are standing behind them looking upset, and looking away. I shake their hands and tell them I'm dreaming, but they're looking away from me, and each time I shake one of their hands it's like I intercepted them trying to shake someone else's hand. I walk around the room a bit (I didn't write this down immediately so I'm not sure what else I did here), and I remember thinking how lucky I was to be lucid so frequently these past weeks (waking life awareness!!). I then decided to try spinning again. This was my first time spinning from a standing position, and it was at least mostly successful (I had thought about doing this in the night while walking my dog). I wanted to visit my incubated dream world, so I said nonverbally "waterhouse" (I meant bathhouse). My intention was vague and unclear, so it took a while longer to form the dream scene and the dream must have latched on to some floating thoughts to form something coherent out of the word.

      The scene materializes (like a squareish shape of white light approaching from the distance) and my full field of vision is focused on a video playing. The video is gaudy, bright, and annoying (my fiancee showed me the new iPhone commercial last night). There were words on the screen in a tacky font, sort of like lyrics although they weren't. There was no sound. Bright neon colors (I remember green and yellow) and images of a woman in a yellow or red dress standing on a stage as if she was singing were flashing on the screen. My field of vision slowly allowed me to disconnect from the screen and realize that it was a phone or tablet that I was holding. I was in a living room similar to my own, with a glass coffee table and a long couch behind me. Although the layout is similar to mine, the dimensions, lighting, and general decor remind me of the house of one of my dad's old clients, a rich Jew.

      I look back at the phone again and the screen is dimmer now, and no matter what I do I can't get it to go bright again. I put the phone on the table and decide to do a reality check, so I put my first two fingers into the palm of my left hand. With the two hands stuck together, I decide to try and stick my fingers through the roof of my mouth as well, but I can't. I turn around and look at the couch. There's now a female body on the couch, although it seems like a mannequin. I try to put my fingers through her abdomen/solar plexus, but instead of entering in, the skin flakes off like peeling paint. I peel it like an onion and take off one layer up to the face. The face underneath is different. I take more and more layers off, and each time the face is slightly different. Some parts of the skin reminded me of plastic wrap that sort of warps and has indentations, or like the shrink wrap they use on college textbooks. I start thinking too much and
      wake up.

      It's 5:30am, I color-code my dreams (again with the weird Red, Blue, Green order) and try to stay still because I feel that I'm still in REM and can easily DEILD. I see the white light and almost get into a couple of dreams, but my dog keeps scratching and moving around, other noises keep popping up and bringing me out of it, and I end up just lying there for a while. I try to get back to sleep and maybe I drifted off for a little bit but ultimately I woke up before my 6:40 alarm and DJ'd on my phone.

      I'm starting to really believe and understand Sensei's article about catching "the feeling" and holding onto it, trusting yourself that you will LD tonight rather than techniquing yourself to death. Really proud of my frequency lately! But I'm ready for a full night of deep sleep. Work is killing me.
    4. This is a nice gift 2 DILDS

      I remember myself saying phrases to this other person about how some dreamworlds are big in this angle but small in the next. Me and this other alledge dreamer were checking out my workplace and noticing DC's go about their day. I begin saying looks like your dreamworld is peaceful and calming as I continue to observe the huge forest that has over take about 25% of the entire building. The other suppose dreamer wanted to check out the forest area, so she and I both went along there and as we did , this other DC starte following in the same direction. She then skip us and I saw another guy. He was in a mini jeep and was waving toward the direction I am in.

      I then had a FA, and found myself staring at my hand while outside laying down on the streets. The sky was stormy night with no thunder or rain. It look like it would shoot down thunder but the clouds would just keep it. I got up fast and started running down the road, I could feel myself zipping through the wind. I got pass the huge double bar gates and then that's when I heard someone call my name. I decided I must've been in danger and started running even faster as the person continue to chase after me. He and I were going so fast that I couldn't even see where I was running anymore.

      I then decided before I smash right in to something, I should jump, so I did and I went very high in to the sky and left him. However while going back down I try to grab on to one of the buildings windows to stop my fall but gravity had the best of me. I kept falling down in till I hit rock bottom. I could feel myself lying on the ground and the same guy who had been chasing me saying something while I was down. I wake up,
    5. Changes of lighting and parkour

      After a month-long dry spell, today I had a random lucid dream.

      I woke up and it was dark. I held my hand out towards the nightstand and grabbed my phone. I always try and feel the LED light button to switch the screen on, but this time I felt two buttons, one at the top and one at the bottom of the phone. I became lucid right away and did a RC with my hands. At first they looked normal, but looking closely I realised I had more fingers than normal. I got up and asked for light, for it to be daytime. I walked down the corridor towards the dining room and the dream felt very realistic, but there didn't seem to be any sudden change in lighting. However, as I was getting near the dining room, I saw light coming from the outside, as if the sun had risen a short while before. I stood on the balcony for a few seconds, thinking of what to do. I decided to try and jump off the balcony, but I was a bit scared because I didn't want to hurt myself. I knew I didn't have to be scared because I was in a dream, but still, I decided to throw a table first. I held it with ease and threw it, and it fell slowly. Then I did a kind of parkour jump and my feet met the ground very gently. I got the table and shot it back up to the balcony, and then I got up there myself.

      After this, I decided to go back to my bedroom and see if I could achieve any change in lighting. I have read in some occasions that drastic changes in light are rare in dreams, but I thought I'd try with my nightstand lamp. As I was reaching for the switch, I asked for light outloud, and the bedroom got lit up a bit before I touched the switch. Proud of my work, I lied down on my bed and asked for some fine guys to walk in the bedroom,
      but then the dream finished.
    6. Splinter and Late for Work

      Noticing pain in my hand, I look closer and see a splinter in my thumb. As I hold my hand, I also notice a splinter on the outside edge of my hand. Both on my right hand. Immediately, I grab my box cutter and begin to dig the splinter out of my thumb. I cut along the splinter as I usually do, but somehow the cut is just a hair off, and not helpful at all. A little unsure about how I managed to miss like that, I continue to scrape at it in the usual way. Careful not to scrape along the new cut I just made, it manages to seal back together like nothing had happened, only a little pain that is completely drowned out by the irritation from the splinter.

      Worried that people will think I'm just being a slacker, I change my position so that I'm not laying down on my side across the desk as I do this. Now the lighting is sort of dim, so I go stand directly under a ceiling light for an easier view. Not getting the splinter out of my thumb yet, I decide to give the other one a go, and contort myself to get a good angle on it. Carefully holding the box cutter by the edge of the razor blade, I begin to rake at the second splinter to get it out. This one is much easier, and after removing some surface skin, the splinter flips over, and sticks out of my hand. I wipe it away with the blade.

      Then I notice it's 9:40 and I'm already late for work! I'll have to finish the splinter removal later, and I run to my bicycle, dropping every thought of what else I want to do in order to make it to work as fast as humanly possible.
    7. A Different Kind of Flambé - Cherry on Fire

      Notes:
      I was half-asleep a few nights ago and got some nonsensical imagery of flames, elephants and fruits, cherries being one of them. I then got the random idea to set a cherry on fire in an upcoming lucid. I didn't plan on doing it this soon because I had more dated goals, but in this LD, my logic wasn't completely turned on and my memory of waking life events wasn't too good. When lucid, I thought about what I wanted to do for a few moments, and only remembered to do the cherry thing. If I had the awareness I would've done something else, but...

      A final note, I had this dream after waking up in the middle of the night for two hours, feeling really sick, then going back to bed when my stomach settled down. I did a few RCs and awareness sessions during this time. As for the dream itself, I was pretty tired and fell asleep right away, so I'm surprised I remember as much of it as I do.

      I was in my "house", except this wasn't quite my actual house. It was a single square room, probably only 15x15 feet, and it was darkly-lit so I couldn't see what kind of flooring it had. I did see the walls were a lighter blue with a slight green tint, and the molding around the ceiling and along the floor was white, and relatively plain. The room was divided in two equal sections by another wall, of the same color, that ran from one side of it to the other. It had a large, clean rectangular opening so that if you were to look at the wall, you'd see the other half of the room. The opening in the dividing wall must have been three feet tall and six feet wide, and positioned more to the left side. On the right was a basic open doorway, with no door.

      I was standing on one side of this wall and looking at the other side; it consisted of a basic kitchen countertop, white in color with dark wooden cabinets. There were no chairs or tables, or a fridge, just the counters. The center of the room had a warm yellow light shining down on it, which dissipated towards the walls of the room. In the half of the room I was in, there was little lighting except a bit coming in from a window. When you looked out the window, you could see a very dark, pale blue street with snow. That seems to be a common setting for houses in my dreams.

      I leaned up against the opening of the wall and put my arms over the foot-thick structure; I became lucid as I did this. I noticed the appearance of the opening change a bit; before it was just lined by the blue-green wall, but now it was lined with polished, lighter wood (bamboo-color?). It was like the lining of a windowsill. I counted my fingers, one, two, three, four, five... But I knew better than to assume anything by just using the finger check, so I plugged my nose and I could breathe; the air felt still and it was room temperature. I also noted the location I was in, and then realized it was a combination of my old house's living room and a kitchen.

      For stabilization, I took a few steps back and looked at the wood on the rectangular wall opening; I could see a few small holes in it, probably the size of thumbtack heads, but it wasn't littered with them. I then put my right hand on the wood and moved it along, seeing how it felt. It felt like polished wood, where there was a bit of friction and it took slightly more effort to move my hand. It was realistic; the more intensely I observed the wood, the cooler it felt. I then rubbed my hands together and tried to think about what my dream goals were; after ten seconds I remembered wanting to set a cherry on fire, so I held my right hand out in front of me, forming a fist. After doing this, I moved my thumb out to the right and my last for digits downwards a bit, imagining a cherry to roll up a bit from inside my grip. A maraschino cherry appeared; it was bright red like the real thing, but the stem was half the size it should've been, and it was very slightly transparent, making its color a bit lighter than normal. I looked closely at it, then started to use pyrokinesis. I imagined warmth coming from the cherry and saw that the places where my hand was touching it ripple outward slightly, and these ripples glowed orange. The left and right of the cherry then started to show a sleek flame coming up from either side; this flame was mostly red-orange but also had some yellow blended in.

      It took about a minute to get a flame to fully encapsulate the cherry, but I did it. The flame was very realistic and seemed to come mostly from the bottom and rise up and around the cherry, but a few smaller licks of fire came from in between the fruit and where I was touching it. I'd never seen so realistic flames in a dream before, so I was mesmerized! I didn't feel a burn from the fire coming from the cherry, but just a slight 'fuzziness', as if I was rubbing my fingers against a chalkboard.

      The cherry looked the same as it did initially, not burning or anything. But as the dream started to end, I popped the cherry into my mouth. It tasted like pure white sugar. The outside was crispy as if it had been charred, though when I was holding it before, it was soft and visibly unaffected by the fire.


      I tried a DEILD, but it failed because I accidentally opened my eyes!

    8. Fragment 3/3 - Frosty Wall

      Notes:
      Folks, this is what happens if you have poor recall and end up becoming lucid. Practice your recall! I had a very frustrating time trying to remember this; I probably spent twenty minutes lying in bed just thinking about it, and even then, I couldn't remember much.

      This was a longer semi-lucid that probably clocked in at around 8 minutes, although I can't remember next to anything about it. One thing I do remember is doing the nose-plug RC, but I don't know where I was at the time. A few minutes after this, I was now doing stabilization exercises. I was walking into an underground subway station; it was essentially a large room with a fairly low ceiling; the entire thing was made of darker grey concrete that was almost shiny. The lighting was dim, with a dark yellow hue to it. The concrete was stained and looked decrepit. On one side of the floor, going from one rectangular hole in the wall to the other, was a clean, normal-looking tunnel for a subway to pass through. I was walking through a tight hallway, made of the same concrete, to get to this room. The hallway was probably only 2 feet wide, and only twice my height. On the left, I was running my hand along the wall as I walked, because it was covered in transparent patches of ice, and white frost that looked very real. I remember marveling at how cold and realistic it felt.

    9. Babys and blocking

      The whole dream i was trying to pick up two different babies. They were heavy and I could not support their heads properly. I was getting really frustrated at my fail, and was worried I was going to hurt them while trying to lift them.

      The second dream was AWESOME and I forgot what it was instantly after waking

      The third one was really strange. I think I was directing a scene from the matrix (one that is not in the movie {but check the bonus features XD LOL}) Morpheus had to lay dead in the middle of a strange grated metal room and I was instructing him how and where to lay. Then we were setting up noir esque lights. His key light was completely focused when they turned it on. It struck his face and he said "ok, it is a bit hard to be dead with that light." We laughed and fixed the lighting ratio. Then I told Neo his blocking. He was to walk all the way around Morpheus an sit at a stool at his feet facing away from him. We ran it a few times and I woke up.

      Different Tests:
      I started this dream out as lucid, unfortunately, I can’t remember how I became lucid. I think I was in some fantasy land, just have that feeling because I can’t exactly remember the land, etc…. but I decided that I wanted to fly. At this time, it was dark and I had a friend nearby, so, I told them to look up at the sky. I could see the moon in a crescent shape and it was rising up pretty rapidly into the sky. At this point, I decided that I wanted to see the sun so that when I fly, I can see the landscape and just didn't like the dark in general. Suddenly, rays of yellow sunlight penetrated the air from behind us. It was kinda odd having the sun and the moon at the same time but I never turned around to see the sun itself, just saw the rays. I think I got distracted a bit, because, I ended up deciding to try some elemental attacks. There was a metallic cube with a circle in it that was floating infront of it which I decided to try some attacks on. I started with electricity and I pointed my finger at the cube. It didn’t work at first but then I said “this is my dream” and tried again. I could seem blue sparks come out at the end of my finger. Since I was mostly interested in seeing it work, I was satisfied and decided to try fire next. Again, my fingers were pointed at the cube and the circle and it’s surroundings were engulfed by the flames. Finally, I tried to freeze it and it froze, since, I could see the ice, bubbles in it, reflections, etc…. I wanted to get somewhere and wanted to teleport but decided again it in fears of the dream ending, since, I lost my lucidity in my last LD, so, I decided to fly.

      I decided to try and float at first, so, I sat in the lotus position and concentrated hard and could feel a strange tickling sensation in my feet but nothing happened. Then I decided to go buy a flying pill. I went to some large store, but, don’t remember how I got there. I didn’t have any money, so, I picked up what looked like a penny sized object from a nearby slot. When the previous customer left, I walked beside them and somehow acquired 2 coins which looked slightly bigger than my penny. Funny enough, I think the cash opened on my side since I remember walking and it just came out and hit me, so, I put it in. I asked the guy(I think it was him) on the counter about flying pills and if they had them and he said that they ran out. He was also wearing a blue uniform similar to walmart but it was only the top portion and no writing on it. I was suspicious and felt like he was hiding them from me, so, I went to the next counter which was conveniently placed around a corner. Between the two counters, there was some shelves behind some glass which had purchasable items on it such as food, etc…. I looked back at the first counter to make sure that he wasn't looking this way since he was doing some something at the back and then looked at her. I think she was wearing glasses but that’s all I can recall. I asked her for some flying pills but she also said that they ran out(must be really famous pills). I started to ask if any of their other stores have some and pointed at another store which was in the same plaza across from us. I think she mentioned that it was also sold out as well, so, I asked if any other stores had some, but, before she could answer, I told her that I’ll look around. I returned home and I recall just walking from the store as if it was near my house(I think it was across from it).

      I was a bit disappointed but noticed a black guy who was wearing a grey t-shirt in his early 20s follow me. I knew him in the dream and I think he was one of my roommates. Anyways, I walked back home and went upstairs. The walls were colored light purple which interesting enough looked nice and just seemed to fit. The stairway was on the narrow side and seemed a bit cramped but would fit two people easily. After walking upstairs, I decided to walk back down and meet him on the stairs since I knew what he had with him(call it dream psychic). He told me about the flying pill and gave me two things, a pouch(I think it was that, can’t exactly remember what it was) and a sleeping pill which looked like a small pill which had a grey metallic color and had two wings on each side. I thanked him a lot and got the feeling he didn’t want me to lose my mind(what a great DC, lol). I went outside and ended up doing something first(distracted again I guess) but I lost the pill and started to look around for it in the grass. I couldn’t find it and was disappointed yet again. At this point, I remembered that I didn’t need the pill, so, I went back inside my house to create some wings. I sat down, possibly on a box in the dark and concentrated on imagining them and how I would look with them on as well as possible. The wings were to be large, grey, similar to what I’ve always seen wings appear like in movies, anime, etc…. After a while, my shoulder area felt a bit strange as if something was growing and then I started to feel like there was a good amount of pressure there and that I needed to do some pushing of my own. I was thinking of looking into a mirror after they were fully grown but never got the chance.


      Thoughts: Well, my third LD and I was definitely more conscious than my second one, can't really compare to first since that was too long ago. This LD was soooo long, even within the LD, I remarked to myself "This LD is really long, I don't think I'll remember it all" and I was right. It took a good amount of time to recall and piece together the different events and I got distracted a couple of times, kinda makes sense since I've been reading about people being distracted from their specific goals. I think this occurred in my 4th or 5th REM cycle, thus, the length
