    1. 03/26/13 Templars and the Dark Realm

      Dark Deeds
I am in my room, I am in bed. I wake up in bed, hoping it is not time to get up yet. I look around and see there are Templars all around me, there is a strange energy pulsing off of them. It makes it hard to see them even when I am looking directly at them. The waves of energy coming off of them is holding me down, I have the idea it is holding me back in more ways than one. I am feeling quite pissed off at them for their constant attacks. I use the song Whiplash by Metallica to send their attack energy back at them. For a brief time I can see them clearly, a pulse of energy from me actually knocks them against the walls of my room. The attacks immediately resume. One of them says it's not going to stop until I return what I stole, return the artifact and they will leave me alone. I don't believe them. Instead I am getting pissed off. I use another Whiplash spell and send the energy back at them again, this time getting out of my bed and phasing through the wall. I remembered chatting with Nomad on Facebook, he had said there were Templars attacking him… so I decide to go help him with his Templar problems. The Templars attacks are making it hard to focus on opening a portal. They are really pissing me off. I use Whiplash again and open a vortex portal, I want to send them away to somewhere they won't like. Maybe then they'll learn to leave me alone. A vortex portal opens and pulls three of the Templars through it right away. Something comes back out of the portal… a wave of dark energy, it seems I have opened a portal somewhere I might have been better off not… The portal then closes, but before it does I see demons on the other side, the portal led to the Dark Realm, I'm not sure I like the idea of sending even Templars to the Dark Realm.

The wave of dark energy slams into me, knocking me back against the bed. My mind is filled with images of the three Templars I sent through the portal getting tortured, demons are laughing, people are screaming. I see images of one of them inside a metal box that is being heated, his skin is cracked and blistered… a second one, a woman, is tied to a bench and is being eaten alive by strange bugs… the third one is actually impaled on a spit and is being roasted alive over a fire… no, I didn't want that, not even for Templars… my anger is gone now, my next thought is I have to get them out of there, but I can't even move enough to get off my bed. Something is draining my energy, that attack that hit me from the Dark Realm? Everything fades to black. I can still hear the Templars crying out in pain and the demons laughing…

      Queen of Night
I am on fire. But the fire is not burning me; it isn't that kind of fire. It is a purifying fire, and it is not burning me, rather it seems to be burning something off of me. As the strange substance is burned off of me it feels like I can breathe again, as if it had been suffocating me. I see I am not alone there. Spike and Altaïr are both right there with me, I see Nomad and MoSh not too far away. And I also see enemies. So many enemies. I realize my hands were tied behind me, not sure how that happened, I don't realize it until Altaïr is cutting the bonds with his blade. Spike starts to ask if I am ok, but then he is distracted by enemies. There is a big fight going on around us. The enemies… orcs? Templars? Templar orcs?

They are orcs, but they are dressed in Templar armor, clearly marked as Templars. I think they must be pissed off about me sending three of them to the Dark Realm. I'm not even particularly pleased about that incident. There is a huge fight going on all around me. Is this all about the fact it seems I had been captured? The Templar orcs are attacking my friends, and I start to feel a bit of the anger that led me to send some Templars to the Dark Realm to begin with. I don't want to let that feeling go too far this time, I still want to go get them out of there. No one should be left in the Dark Realm for the demons to be playing their sick games with. I still feel a dark energy inside, but I can keep it stable, so I focus on using it instead of getting rid of it. I transform into the form of a dark sorceress, still on fire… with the black wings of giant raven, somehow seems appropriate.

I use spell songs on the Templar Orcs, Damage Inc. by Metallica to throw balls of fire, Battery by Metallica to call lightning from the sky. The entire place sounds like a Metallica concert with an awesome light show to accompany it. Lyrics from a completely different song are going through my mind, "When the shadows remain in the light of day, on the wings of darkness we retaliate…" I can't think what song these lyrics are from… The entire fight is rather unfocused in my memory, it doesn't really seem to take very long before it is over. Then I am on the ground, I see I am in my white Assassin robes again… the dream is over. But it can't be, I still have to go to the Dark Realm and get those Templars out… I sent them there, it is my responsibility to set it right by getting them out. Nomad is right beside me, I look around and see the other people around are also friends. I tell Nomad I have to go to the Dark Realm and get someone out, he seems to think I need to rest. I try to get up, not having much progress. I tell him I have to go now, they're being tortured, I was wrong to send them there… but something has drained all my energy, things around me are fading to black.
    2. Freddy Krueger + Demons

Fun night, despite not sleeping much.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I spontaneously become lucid in the middle of a somewhat hectic situation that I can no longer remember. I decide to fly away.

I start from my house and fly over the trees, the back road, and the forest. All along the way, there are Freddy Krueger posters EVERYWHERE with strange and violent quotations on them. "Hmm, I wonder what he's up to," I murmur to myself. I fully expect him to show up and try to cause trouble. He'd better stay away if he knows what's good for him. ((It is a running joke among my friends that I was married to Krueger and am now divorced.))

I am flying Peter Pan style, and it is quite an exhilerating feeling. I pass by a lot of beautiful scenery. At one point I stop to talk to some people,
but my recall is really hazy and I don't remember what happened next. Sadly, I know there was a lot that happened afterward, I just can't grasp it at the moment.

      Demon Opression (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

My campus has been overrun by demons who are under the guise of Indian women. I am standing in the lobby of my dorm, preparing to leave. A little girl, around 11, is trying to get in the elevator. I know that once on the elevator, it will draw people in to the demon's dimension, making escape almost impossible. But the girl is convinced that she has to get upstairs to find her sister. I get on the elevator with her, determined to protect her.

We get upstairs and the demon women spot us as soon as we step off the elevator. I grab the little girl and haul her down the hallway, keeping her away from the demons. We never find her sister, but we somehow make it back outside.

Later I am riding to California with my friends to start anew. The world is somewhat post-apocalyptic now; dark and dangerous. As we are leaving, I see my German professor chopping firewood in a temporary camp near the school. I am surprised that he now has a lot of intricate tattoos going down his body.
    3. 02/23/13 Captive Altaïr

      02/23/13

Note: Someone named Lara has been visiting us for the past few days with the goal of helping break some psychological blocks I am having problems with. After she was here it was discovered she had been working for some Templars in her home world, but she has agreed to help with the blocks in exchange for a cure for her son, Anthony, who has an inoperable cancer. Of course it's not inoperable for someone like Q or Washu… The area she works in looks for time fluctuations which can be used to see through time, know the outcome of certain operations before doing them… know what Assassins are going to do before the Assassins even know… She said they found a timeline where an Altaïr was about to die in the natural course of the timeline. They managed to grab him, Lara said the point was to use energy healing so Altaïr could learn how to feel love… but the truth no doubt has more to do with mind control. Lara truly believes people like Altaïr (Assassins) don't have the capacity to care about anyone due to how they grew up so they need to have their hearts healed… the final point being my goal, to go into the facility where they are holding Altaïr and get him out of there… In order to make sure as few people as possible get hurt Lara says she can get me in by telling them I am a soul healer (not a lie) and I can have the effect they are looking for on Altaïr.

      Moon Assassin
I am on a beach taking a walk on a very peaceful day. I remember my goal, and first I have to go meet up with Lara so she can sneak Sailor Moon into the Templar facility. Before I can even open a portal, however, Q appears with a woman I don't recognize, who turns out to be Lara. I have never actually met Lara face to face… Q says he will take us to the correct world, then snaps his fingers to transport us. When we appear, we are in a house. In a bedroom. Lara leaves the room and heads downstairs. An older woman eyes Q and me suspiciously as we follow Lara. Q says he will take care of Anthony's treatment, it is almost done, then it is not only guaranteed that Anthony's current cancer will be gone, but he will be immune to any cancer in the future. I notice that Q looks like a doctor. The older woman looks similar to an older version of Lara, and I realize she is primarily looking at me. She says she doesn't want any of "them" around Anthony… then asks what I am doing here. She says she knows the doctor has to see Anthony, and has even accepted the demons Lara has to deal with in order to get Anthony cured, but no one else is to have access to Anthony. Lara starts to tell the woman my name… then hesitates… I say my name is Serena… Serena Usagi, using the name off of Sailor Moon… and I am a healer, so who is this "them" she thinks I am? She scoffs and says I already know… and if I am a healer she is the queen of England… then tells Lara to get me out of her house. I am about to question why the woman doubts my being a healer, Lara points at a mirror… I am dressed like an Assassin from Assassin's Creed… oops… that's not how Serena dresses… so I use the crescent moon wand to transform into Sailor Moon.

The older woman, who I determine is Lara's mother and Anthony's grandmother, does a double take. Lara hurries me from the room and outside. She eyes my Sailor Moon form for a bit. She says she has no idea who Sailor Moon is, but that means the others probably don't, either. I ride in a normal car with Lara for a while into the mountains, then up to a gate that is mostly hidden. It reminds me of the entrance to some secret military installation that's not supposed to exist. The guarded entrance leads to a tunnel that leads deep within the mountain.

Lara pulls up beside a guard gate and says she has to speak to the captain… whoever that might be. The guard asks who I am. She just says the captain will want to talk to me, she was looking through a time flux and might have found the answer. He wants to know what answer she has found. She says she might have the cure, and the captain will know what that means. He asks again who I am. She gives him the name Serena Usagi, known in my home world as Sailor Moon, the moon healer. He talks on the communicator inside the guard station for a bit and then finally comes back. He opens the gate and tells Lara to follow the vehicle in front of us, and do not leave the path at all, he says we have only limited access here. With a relieved sigh she agrees and drives on after what looks like a jeep of some kind. Lara drives through what seems like a maze of passages. There are numerous large doors along the passages. Now and then one of them will open and the jeep will lead us through it, then it will close behind us. After getting completely disoriented we finally come to a stop. There are several guards around us when they lead us into an office room. There is a man there, and he looks me over closely. He asks who I am. I tell him I am Serena Usagi, Sailor Moon, a soul healer. Lara says she has seen me heal the hearts of those who have never learned to love. He turns on a monitor. He indicates I should look at it. There is a white room with only a bed and bathroom facilities. There is a man in the room. It looks like Altaïr, though he isn't dressed as an Assassin, he is just in plain white clothes. He is sitting on the bed doing nothing. The captain tells me to do what I have to do. I ask if he really thinks I can heal someone over a television link. I have to be in there with him. He looks at me suspiciously. He says if I am in there he can't guarantee my safety. I tell him I have healed people as powerful as Vegeta when he is attacking me… He says he has no idea who Vegeta is. I tell him I have to be in there with Alt… the person he wants me to heal. Did I just screw up? Maybe not… he says I will be taken to the holding cell, but I will be on my own, even if the prisoner attacks me. I say that's ok. I am led through some halls and to an airlock. What do they think Altaïr is, an alien? Maybe just to make sure he doesn't get out? I remember Lara saying he got out once and killed a bunch of Templars, almost getting out of the facility before getting trapped again. I guess they don't want a repeat occurrence. I go into the middle area of the airlock, the door behind me closes, the one in front of me opens. I go into the small room. Altaïr is looking at me now… hatefully glaring at me, though I notice a slightly puzzled look when he gets a better look at my Sailor Moon form. The door immediately closes and locks behind me. No matter. I'll open a portal. I focus on opening a portal. Nothing happens. A dampening field? A voice from nowhere asks if I really thought they would let a stranger walk right into a secure facility and then walk out with their most valuable prisoner. I decide to stay with the Sailor Moon theme. Open the door or in the name of the moon they'll be punished. The voice says he knows perfectly well I am not Sailor Moon, she is a dumb cartoon, I am an Assassin, so now they have two. I do a Cosmic Moon Power blast on the airlock door, it looks like a Final Flash from Vegeta…

and it blasts the door off of its hinges, practically melting through it. Altaïr is doing a serious double take… another Cosmic Moon Power blast takes out the outer door. Alarms start going off everywhere. I tell Altaïr it's time to blow this pop stand… up… I wonder how far I have to go to pass the dampening field. There are guards outside the second melted door, it looks like they're not sure what to do. Some of them shoot at Altaïr and me, others turn and run. The ones who are firing change their minds after "Cosmic… Moon…" before the blast goes off. They run down the hall and around the corner. I try a portal… nothing. Altaïr and I head farther down the hall. Someone tries to ambush us from around a corner. I hear the popping noise when Altaïr breaks his neck. I try a portal. It opens! I tell Altaïr that is our exit, I figure the dampening field was probably just around the holding cell. I lead Altaïr through the portal and into the control room on the moon before I wake.

      Secret Escape
Note: This is a case where I think I was having two variant dreams at the same time. In one of them I went to meet with Lara so she could sneak me into the compound where Templars are keeping Altaïr, but in the other one I used Avalon to get in on my own. The previous one is journaled above, this is the second version.

I am on the beach as in the first dream. But this time Q doesn't show up. I wander down the beach for a while longer before deciding I need to go find the Altaïr who is being held by a bunch of Templars. I focus on opening a portal to find him. I focus on finding the one that Lara has told me about. After a brief hesitation, during which I wonder if it is going to work, a portal finally opens. I go through the portal into a long hallway that is large enough to handle vehicles.

It looks like some kind of underground military facility. I wonder if this is where Altaïr is being held. I wonder how I can find him. I need to get access to their computers. I can locate him through that. I go through a door and into an office. The people in the room seem to know who I am, and a man asks why I'm not dressed. He throws some lab clothes at me, so I put them on. He then hands me a syringe. He says that's the drug, the strongest version yet. He says Altaïr will either be very receptive to the programming, he will be dead, or go stark raving mad. I look at the syringe... there's no way I'm giving that shit to Altaïr… The man, apparently sensing I am hesitant, says this is my project… he's not going in there. I look and see I have a keycard. I use it to open the door the man is looking at. It leads to what looks like an airlock, and then into a white room. I see Altaïr is in the room, he is chained to the far wall. I am being watched. So I try to act like they expect. I go over to Altaïr… who looks like he is unconscious. A voice comes from the speakers, telling me to administer the drug. I have to get Altaïr loose… then open a portal. The needle on the syringe… I can pick the lock with that! So I reach for one of the chains and I realize it isn't really attached to anything. It looks like the locks have already been picked? The next thing I know the syringe has been taken from me and is stuck in my neck, Altaïr is loose, he says we are leaving here now unless I want a dose of my own medicine… An alarm is going off, I tell Altaïr to cut it out, we're on the same fucking side. He takes my key card and injects the drug into me, pushing me aside and going for the door. Great… I'm wasted on drugs… I toss the syringe aside and try to clear my head. Everything sounds echoed and far away. I hear a commotion outside, someone has come into the room with me and is saying something about an antidote. I focus my energy on clearing out the drug and my head clears. I push the two men away from me and head in the direction I think Altaïr went. People behind me are asking me what I'm doing… I need a doctor if I hope to survive that drug… I ignore them. In the next room there are two dead people. One of them has his head at a really awkward angle, the other has an unidentified object sticking out of his neck… ok… on the right path. I follow the commotion down the hall.

A couple guards shoot at me before realizing who I am. I send a wall of telekinetic energy down the corridor that stops the bullets and pushes the guards back against the wall. I see Altaïr around a corner, he is looking right at me now. I'm not sure how to convince him I am actually there to get him out… Altaïr disappears down the hallway. I follow him. When I come around the corner someone shoots at me. Altaïr is shooting at me? Apparently he grabbed one of the guards' guns. I see someone behind Altaïr, aiming at him. I use telekinetic energy to knock that person back against the wall. Altaïr disappears down a side passage. Shit… this is ridiculous. Maybe my disguise is too good… so I switch to my usual Assassin robes before following Altaïr again. I hear more gunshots. I am on the right path when I find a dead guard. Altaïr aims a gun at me, but then stops when he sees I now look like an Assassin. He points the gun at someone behind me and fires… but gets only a click, he's out of ammo. I look behind me and see a couple guards there aiming guns. More guards on the other side of Altaïr. I get over closer to Altaïr and tell him it's time to get out of here before opening a portal. Someone is yelling to shoot them both, so I just shove Altaïr through the portal before following him through and waking up.

      01/30/13

      Secret Rescue
I am flying over the Nile, phasing into a dream. I land on a beach and wait for the dream to stabilize. I realize I am not alone. There are numerous people all over the place. They are all attacking me. I am surrounded by and being attacked by Templars. I focus on opening a portal to a Dark Tower dream. A portal opens, I go through it and close it immediately behind me to block them from following. On the other side I am walking the street of a city I don't recognize. It looks like a city out of Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

I wonder how I ended up here when I was aiming for a Dark Tower dream. I walk down the street when I see someone hidden behind a merchant booth signaling to me. I go over to the woman behind the booth, and she indicates she wants to get farther away from the main thoroughfare. She seems really worried or scared about something. I quickly look around, wondering if she has something to do with the people that attacked me on the banks of the Nile. We appear to be alone. She says she has something to tell me, but I have to promise to hear her out before doing anything. I agree to that. She says she knows I have been looking for the person in the market district that has been reporting Assassin activities to the Templars… she pauses, then says she is that person. She backs away from me and quickly adds that she doesn't want to, but they have her daughter and will kill the girl if she doesn't cooperate. She looks around nervously, she also seems unsure about me. She says she just wants her daughter back safely. I ask if she knows where the girl is being held, she says in the large house at the end of the street… yes, the one surrounded by Templars. She asks if I will get her daughter back. I tell her that's the plan. She says she has to disappear, if a Templar sees she is talking to an Assassin they will surely kill her daughter. She heads the other way quickly and disappears around a corner. I go back to the street and look to the end where there is a home that looks much larger than the other buildings, almost like a small palace. There are Templars guarding it.

I wonder where in there the girl might be. I don't want to be seen until she is safe or they might realize what is going on and either move or kill her. I go down the street but I turn off before getting in direct sight of the Templars. I look along the side of the building, looking for a way in. About halfway up there is an open window. I shoot a tendril of Witchblade out like a grappling hook and use it to climb up the side of the building to the window. I find myself in a bedroom that is currently unoccupied. I wonder where I should start looking for the girl. I peek out into the hall. I see the girl isn't content to wait to be rescued, she is creeping down the hallway. I see the resemblance between her and her mother, she looks like she is about 10 years old. She sneaks by the door I am peeking out of. As she passes the next door, however, it opens. A Templar guard steps out and grabs her from behind. He says he should cut her open right now. She bites his hand to try to make him let go. He gets mad and says no one said the kid couldn't be injured. He has a dagger out now. To get his attention off of her I tell her she shouldn't bite that thing… it's probably diseased. She says he is a disease and stomps on his foot. He shoves the girl down and attacks me with his dagger. He practically impales himself on my hidden blade… I tell the girl I'm there to get her out, her mother sent me. She comes with me back the way I came from, and I use Witchblade to lower us back out the window. We disappear into the city before any other Templars are aware she is gone. I go back to the place where I met with the woman, and she is clearly relieved to see her daughter safe. She says she can tell me a lot about what the Templars have been doing… but I am about to wake up, so I tell her to tell one of the others if she wants, I am unable to stay. I wake.

      NON-DREAMNOTESDREAMLUCID

I am standing in a old abandoned factory with a small group of people. Along the top of the wall is a row of windows. The ceiling has a row of windows along the ridge. There are old pallet racks along the walls and there is a large steel pipe attached to the edge of one of the racks which runs from the top of the rack down to the floor.

One of the guys tells me that a girl fell into the top of the pipe while trying to climb on the racks. The bottom of the pipe goes into the floor and there is no way in other than the top. I grab a coil of rope and climb to the top of the pipe. I pull the rope over the top of the rack in preparation to descend into the pipe and try to retrieve the girl. Once I try to climb into the pipe, I realize that the pipe is too small for me to fit inside. I look down to let the guys know that I can't fit inside the pipe and I wake up.

by , 01-02-2013 at 12:56 AM (New Dream Adventures of Raven Knight)
      01/01/13

      Split Consciousness
I am in my Fire Valkyrie heading for the moon. I land on the moon and look around briefly before opening a portal to get somewhere I need to be. I go through the portal and enter a place that looks like a scene from Assassin's Creed. This does not surprise me since I have been dreaming a lot about Assassin's Creed lately. What does surprise me is that someone calls my name. I look over to where someone is calling me from and I see there are lots of Templars. Four of them are holding on to someone who looks like Altaïr. One of the Templars is laughing at me saying I had better not try anything or Altaïr would be dead before I could stop it. I use Battery to call two bolts of lightning, one on each side of Altaïr, nailing the Templars holding him. That frees Altaïr, who grabs a sword from one of the four fallen Templars and runs it through another Templar.

They now have a fight on their hands. I am about to help Altaïr with the large number of Templars, but one of them is still laughing at me. He says I can only save one of them, though. One of them? Who else? He says there are far more of them than there are of me, right now there is a parallel world that just lost its Altaïr. I saved one and lost the other. I use Divide by Disturbed to separate into two people, and one of me opens a portal to find the other Altaïr they are talking about. The situation is practically identical, so I use an identical solution. Battery… the Templars holding Altaïr die… Altaïr grabs a sword and fights back. But they are still laughing. Do I really think there are only two worlds? There are others? Shit. I use Divide again, there are four and then eight and then 16 of me. I send other copies of me to other worlds tracking other Altaïrs. Having multiple copies of me in different dimensions is really disorienting. And not all the worlds are exactly the same, though the basic idea is the same. I free more versions of Altaïr to fight and the Templars are still laughing. I intend to make them shut up. Another Divide. 32 of me, 64… a Templar asks if I really think I can get to all of them. One of me enters a world where I am right in front of Altaïr… and he stabs me with his hidden blade, so at least one of me has been stabbed. I'm not sure how many of me got stabbed. I wonder why Altaïr has attacked me in some places. A Templar says not all of them are immune to their control. So in the places where Altaïr has attacked me I use Liberate by Disturbed to break any possible mind control. It has become hard to keep track of what I am doing where, though. I think maybe I did Liberate everywhere… not that it has any effect where there is no mind control in effect. The Templars are still laughing at me, saying I have missed so many versions of Altaïr, there are so many places where the Templars will now win… there's no way I can save them all, so I might as well give up… So I Divide again, splitting to 128, I have the strange sensation of being everywhere at once and nowhere at all at the same time. But everywhere is close enough to the same. Free Altaïr, use Liberate just in case it's needed, fight Templars. It is really disorienting, I keep hearing Templars laughing… but is it a bit forced now? Maybe I'm reaching their limits… so I Divide yet again to 256, splitting into way too many places at one time… I feel like I am going to completely lose it, so I set to the same task everywhere. Get right next to Altaïr and drop an Immortal Fire. There is a bright light exploding in my mind as 256 simultaneous Immortal Fire spells go of at once, and for once there is no Templar laughter. Just a bunch of yelling. I don't have enough focus to understand what the Templars are saying, but I am reassured by the fact they don't sound happy. I think there is a lot of cursing. I wonder if I have found all of the instances where they have ambushed Altaïr… or did the Templars win in some places… no time to really ponder that before I wake up.

      Lost Children
I am in what looks to be an abandoned town, though most of the buildings are still standing quite well. I wonder where all the people there went. I am not lucid, but I know I have a mission to complete. I have been tracking a pedophile to this location. It is a known fact that he has kidnapped numerous children, but no one has been able to track him to where he is keeping them. I have been on this case for a while and I think I am getting close to finding his hideout. I sneak through the streets of the town, peering into windows of homes as I go. Then my attention gets drawn to an abandoned hospital.

I think I see movement over there. Maybe that's where he is. I sneak over and get close to the hospital, and I do seem movement this time. There is a tall bald man pulling a little boy along by the arm, and the little boy is crying. I recognize the man as the pedophile, he is my target. I think maybe I have been playing too much Assassin's Creed because the man seems to faintly glow yellow. An assassination target. I have to get close to him when he doesn't have a child with him or it could become a hostage situation. So I tail the man into the hospital and he shoves the child into one of the rooms, locking the door behind. He is now alone. Now to get close to him. Looking around I see some rubble on the ground. I pick up a large rock and chuck it at the guy, hitting him on the side of the head. He doesn't seem hurt, but he does seem annoyed as he looks over and sees me. He says I am too old for him to have fun with, but not too old to kill. I throw more stuff at him. Mostly rubble on the ground. Rocks… pieces of wood… an old coffee mug… he gets more pissed off with every piece that hits him. He says he is going to have fun killing me slowly. He comes at me, as it appears that I am unarmed. But that weird yellow glow isn't the only thing I have brought from Assassin's Creed. He runs right up onto my hidden blade, practically stabbing himself. He has a shocked look on his face since he hadn't seen a weapon in my hand. I stab the bastard again to make sure he is dead. There are children locked in many of the rooms of the hospital, some of them aren't in very good condition. I call the police and real hospital and before long there are children being led out, some walking on their own, others being carried and given IV medication, all of them look traumatized. Their ages seem to range from 4 to 8… I am glad the pedophile is dead, though in a way it seems like it was too easy for such an asshole. I am still thinking that when I wake up.

      Jail Break
I am in my Fire Valkyrie flying to the moon. I land on the moon and wander around a bit before opening a portal, directing the portal to take me to somewhere I need to be. The portal opens and I step through right into a world that looks like something out of Assassin's Creed. I am not sure what city I am in. I look around to try to identify it. What I do see is some guards dragging some people off of the street. I wonder what is going on. One of the people is saying he didn't do anything. One of the guards says with his attitude he doesn't have to actually do anything to get arrested. He laughs. He says he'll be laughing right up until the execution. In total I see ten guards and five prisoners. One of the prisoners looks right at me and then whispers something to one of the others at the cost of getting punched in the gut. A guard insists no talking. More whispers are passed amongst the prisoners until a guard tells them to shut the fuck up or he'll kill them all right now. Another guard says he wants to at least injure a couple of them. A third guard said there's no reason all of them have to make it back alive. One of the prisoners looks over at me, clearly expecting me to do something, then tells the guards something in a foreign language that is clearly an insult. They are all distracted, some of them laughing, some of them pulling weapons. No one is looking anywhere near me. I have two hidden blades… and take out two of the guards before any of the others even realize someone else is there.

Then there is confusion… and another guard taken out, though I am unable to target two of them this time. So in an instant ten has become seven. Now that they have seen me they are demanding my surrender, though it doesn't look like they're prepared to accept surrender. The prisoners are going after weapons on the fallen guards, three of them claim weapons while I am fighting with my Witchblade sword. A guard attacks and I use a counter attack to take him out, and now the three newly armed prisoners are fighting. Six against four… and one of them claims the sword of the guard I just killed… so now it's six against five. The fight is soon over, though two of the prisoners have been injured so I heal them. I ask what they were being arrested for, though it is a bit too late to find that out, and one of them says they were being arrested for protesting a new law, it's not allowed. He says before long it will be illegal to breathe too deeply. He says lots of people are being arrested for pointless offenses, and no one is sure what is happening to them. He says there are many others being arrested, and they are going to find out what is going on. Will I help them? I say I will if I can, but don't worry if I disappear for a short time… I'll be back. At least I am hoping I won't end up being a liar… One of the prisoners asks what important business I have and if they can help in return, but I never get a chance to answer before I wake up.

      Silent Nonlucidity
I am in what looks like one of the cities from Assassin's Creed II but I am completely non-lucid. What I do believe is that I am from the future, and I have my iPad in a case that looks like an antique book so no one will question my using it.

I am searching for the glyphs left by Subject 16 and I am using my iPad to decipher the codes hidden within them. The fact I can climb on the walls and do most of the moves done in Assassin's Creed doesn't seem strange to me. Some guy starts putting the moves on me. He also takes my iPad and tosses it in a ditch, saying women shouldn't be reading. I am about to punch him in the face when I see he is offering me an invitation to some coveted event. I think there might be a glyph inside the area of the event, so being able to get in to the event would be helpful. He gives me the invitation and then asks, as if he already knows, who will be accompanying me. I tell him he can go fuck himself, knock him senseless with a kick to the balls then a punch in the face, and leave him sitting in the ditch where he tossed my iPad. I am looking at a building for a glyph when someone pokes something sharp at my back. I hear someone tell me if I cooperate I won't be hurt. I turn to see what is going on, and there is an Assassin pointing a hidden blade at me. I find it annoying. He says he needs to get into the event that I now have an invitation to. I tell him to stop poking me with that thing… I'll help him willingly or not at all. He seems surprised at my response and removes the blade from my back. I look at him closer now, I don't recognize him specifically but I am sure he is an Assassin.

So he must have a good reason for wanting to get into the event. His threat was clearly a bluff… he has no interest in harming what he thinks is an average civilian. He turns to walk away and I tell him I have decided to help him willingly. My invitation lets me bring a guest. So we go to the event together. There is some kind of an art display going on, the guards at the entrance let us in. Once we're inside I tell him I have my own reasons for wanting to be here… so he can go about his. I look around the walls and spot the glyph I was looking for. I scan it with my iPad, sure that chaos will ensue soon since I snuck an Assassin in. And chaos does ensue. The Assassin has apparently taken out his target. Then I hear someone accusing me of being in league with him because we came together, I tell that person he is nuts, how was I supposed to know? He was cute and wanted to come with me, so I brought him. No one seems to believe me, and I am too surrounded to get out. Someone is yelling that if the Assassin doesn't surrender they will kill his partner. I activate the time travel app on my iPad and leave the scene before the Assassin can respond. It transports me back to my own time… and my own bed.

      The Lost Tribe (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Note: Before going to bed, I was reading Tears of the Desert.

I am living among a somewhat primitive tribe in unknown lands. One of the girls is dying of a horrible parasitic infection, and as per custom, her family is sitting in a tight circle around her, keeping her in a sitting position. The girl has large holes in various places on her body from which hundreds of disgusting white insects pour out. By being at such a close proximity, each of the family members risks infection. I watch as the girl slowly dies.

A guide is explaining to me that the family will continue their vigil for about five more minutes, after which time the girl's body will briefly re-animate in some kind of post-death movement that is the mere memory of life. Sure enough, the girl soon raises her head and opens her white, clouded over eyes. The family rises and takes this cue to bury her.

Later, I am talking to the deceased's mother, who is a friend of mine. She is barely able to contain her grief, and I cautiously give her a hug to try to comfort her, though the fear of infection is prevalent in my thoughts.

Some sort of evil deity is cursing the village. I hold council with him, hoping to persuade him to look upon us more favorably. He laughs at me and says that if I want to save my friends I'd better act quickly. I realize he has caused some catastrophe back in the village, so I run as fast as I can to find out what has happened. There, I find several of my friends trapped in a pool of grey liquid that looks similar to concrete. They are struggling to stay afloat-- if any of the liquid gets on or in their face for even a moment, it forms a tight layer over their skin and suffocates them. I do my best to pull them out of the liquid, but some of them slip from my grasp and die.

After all of the villagers are out of the pool, I have a talk with a girl who is like an older sister to me. I tell her which deity is to blame and we decide we MUST do something to stop him. He overhears and curses us both personally. He says he will be willing to leave the village alone if we find a way to stop him, but in order to do so we must reach a nearby city by sunset. If we do not accomplish this, I will be struck by lightning and my sister will suffer some similar horrible fate.

    9. The Battle For Your Heart

      by , 11-28-2012 at 08:54 PM (Death's Other Kingdom)
One of the most amazing lucids I've had in ages!

      11.28.2012
The Battle for Your Heart (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Arcadia, a beautiful woman with long white hair (who seems to be some sort of deity) whom I falsely remember dreaming about before, announces to me and the team of people I am with that we must travel to a different part of the dream to eliminate a certain threat. She says it's nothing major, just something that needs to be done. I also falsely remember having this particular dream before, and I want a different ending than the supposed "other" time.

We arrive at the house of a rather crazy but seemingly benign family who is supposed to transport us to where we need to go. Their refrigerator is actually something similar to a Tardis in disguise, so they immediately go about cramming me and my team into the small shelf spaces. I am instinctively aware that the family is evil and is going to turn on us soon, but we are too vulnerable to cause a conflict at the moment. I don't want to be attacked while trapped in the tight confines of this refrigerator.

Soon, it doesn't matter what I want. The family (who is apparently some type of gang) attacks, but I manage to quickly get myself out and under cover before they can shoot me. A long battle ensues. Much of it involves a deadly back and forth shooting between my team and the crazy gang-family. It isn't long before I run out of ammo. I act as though my gun is still loaded in order to keep the enemy at bay as I search for a new weapon, hoping to do so before they realize that I'm basically unarmed. I'm somewhat surprised that the guns are working in the first place, as they usually malfunction in my dreams. I'm also worried about forgetting parts of what is happening when I wake up, because the battle has been going on for a long time and I know I'm bound to lose parts of it. (Sadly true.)

In my search for a new weapon, I happen upon a high tech grenade that, in addition to a fiery explosion, shoots out spinning projectiles that will slice anything nearby to bits. I activate the grenade, shout a warning to my team, then throw it and run out of the house as fast as my legs will carry me. We barely make it out the door before the whole house goes up in flames.

The battle against the remaining enemies takes me into the trees, where I am sniping down gang members who get too close. Out of nowhere, mutant zombies similar to lickers from Resident Evil begin scaling the trees toward me. One of the mutations splits it's head open, revealing rows of disgusting teeth along each side of its interior. Adrenaline kicks in and I manage to shoot them all in the head and kill them before they can get to me.

With the enemies pretty much gone or sent running, Arcadia appears. "This problem runs much deeper than I originally thought," she tells me anxiously.

"You mean because of the zombies?" I ask.

      "No, even deeper than that."

As we walk back to Arcadia's control room, I slip my arm around her waist. She stops and removes it promptly. "Keep your hands to yourself," she reprimands me.

"Well excuse me," I scoff with a little laugh, both surprised and somewhat amused at being rejected by a dream character. Grinning mischievously, I walk unnecessarily close to her so that our arms are pressed together. I expect her to tell me to back off again, but she doesn't.

Back in the control room, we are suddenly ambushed by members affiliated with the gang. We take cover behind a pillar, taking turns stepping out to shoot. Arcadia is now Alice from Resident Evil. When she steps out to shoot, the enemy shoots first and manages to land a hit right in her chest. She kills most of them from the floor, then I step out and take care of the rest before kneeling down beside her. I see that the wound is very bad. She is moaning in pain.

"No, shh, it'll be okay, I'll get you help," I tell her. (I'm pretty much only semi-lucid at this point and don't realize I could just heal her myself.) She tells me that the people in the building next door know her and will know what to do. Leaning down, I kiss her gently: a promise that I won't let her die. She looks surprised.

I pick her up as carefully as I can manage, but she still cries out in pain from being moved. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," I keep saying as I carry her to the aforementioned building. The man and woman who live there are deeply concerned, but before they can do anything, Alice dies. At her death, her shape disentigrates to a tiny stone figure with a bullet hole in the center.

I am shocked. How could she be dead in a dream when I've been willing for her to live? NO, I refuse to let her stay dead! In a weird stroke of dream intuition, I literally breathe life into her through the wound until she is finally herself again, alive and well.

Triumphant, I kiss her again. This time, to my surprise, she kisses me back. When I look at her inquisitively, she says I deserve it after saving her life. I smile happily, relieved that she is okay. The dream ends shortly afterwards.

      Deceiving the Witch (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

An evil witch has captured Cheyenne and is holding her prisoner, demanding that I give her the chest as ransom. But the contents of this chest are of utmost importance... I can't just allow her to have it. Then again, I also can't let her keep Cheyenne!

I finally decide to remove the contents of the chest and fill it with things that are equally heavy, hoping that I can get her to let my friend go before she realizes I've tricked her.

I reach the witch's lair. "I've brought the chest, now let her go," I demand firmly. Cheyenne seems scared but otherwise alright, much to my relief. After hesitating, the witch relents. "Very well. But YOU stay." Cheyenne looks at me as if asking what to do, but I nod for her to go. I'm glad to be prisoner in her stead. She leaves.

I realize that I did not tell anyone of my plan. Cheyenne will probably go get help, but by then it might be too late. As the witch rambles to me about what seems like her life story (I'm only pretending to pay attention), I discreetly send Jake a text message, hoping he'll come to my aid.

    11. Where is the White Dragon?

      by , 10-01-2012 at 01:40 AM (Death's Other Kingdom)
I don't usually have many risqué dreams, but this one was pretty interesting. ((This contains some slightly mature content, so don't read if you're not comfortable with this, please.))

      Night of 9/30/12

      ["Where is the White Dragon!?"]
I am looking out the window late at night, when I see what appears to be two large dragons fighting high up in the starry sky. As I watch, their fight grows closer and closer to the ground until they are right outside my house. I can now see that one is white with scales and the other is a black-feathered dragon. Both are about as big as the house itself.

The white dragon soon kills her opponent and begins to feast upon him, when she suddenly sees me watching from the window. I don't believe she'll bother attacking me since she has just made a kill, but I am wrong. The dragon sticks her head through the open window and makes a snap at me.

I run to the other end of the house--- she follows. Eventually I am forced to jump out a window and make an escape. The dragon soon follows me, however, eyes glowing bright yellow in the dark.

When I reach the graveyard, I realize that I will never outrun such a massive creature. I stop and wait for her to approach, thinking desperately for a plan. "Don't kill me," I say, "I can be of use to you."

The dragon suddenly transforms into a girl who looks perhaps a bit older than I. "And what exactly do you have to offer me?" she purrs, looking at me in amusement.

I sigh, realizing what she wants. "Myself," I tell her resignedly.

She grins. "Hmm. That sounds like it might just be a good deal. Okay then." She giggles and pulls me forward, lying back on the ground and positioning me on top of her. "Touch me," she orders.

I lift up her shirt and slowly trail my fingers along her smooth stomach while she watches me with an interested expression. After a few moments, she complains that I'm tickling her. Smiling slightly to myself, I deliberately stroke her stomach a few more times before moving my hands a bit higher and kneading her breasts. She closes her eyes and moans.

Before I can take things even further, bright lights suddenly shine all around us. Oh crap.

Apparently the sounds of the dragon fight alarmed the neighborhood, and authorities were sent to deal with the matter. Some of the men present are leaders of an important club I had joined a few hours earlier, and I am somewhat embarrassed to be caught in this situation. I look down at the dragon-girl, chagrined. She seems more alarmed than embarrassed.

I get off of her, and while I am distracted with the leering looks of the moronic men standing beside me, some people (dragon hunters, I believe) grab my dragon-girl and run off with her. As soon as I realize this, I become filled with worry and take off after them. I have to save her!

Some friends of mine are now helping me track the dragon hunters down. They are slowly climbing the side of a building. "Why are you wasting time climbing when this is a dream?" I shout impatiently. "Fly, you idiots!" I leap on top of the building and jump from rooftop to rooftop until I reach some old ruins where I find the hunters.

They are armed to the teeth, while I must rely on my own hands. Soon, however, I manage to kick one of the hunters off the top of the ruins and steal his knife. I then hold one of the others at knife point and yell, "Where is the White Dragon!?" He refuses to answer, so I slit his throat.

Suddenly, I hear dragon like noises to my left, at a large seemingly vacant area where there are chains. I "remember" that the dragon can turn invisible, so I rush past all the other hunters to where she's lying. She reappears, in dragon form. She's lying on her back, bleeding badly from a large wound in her gut.

"It's gonna be okay," I tell her as soothingly as I can manage, gently hugging her massive form. "I'll get you out of here." But she seems to be in a really bad state, and I don't know how I will manage this.

      I wake up shortly afterwards.
    12. Fake paralysed arms

      by , 09-05-2012 at 04:56 AM
I was watching on as two people were resting in a hollow in the ground out in the wilderness. Suddenly they were surrounded by soldiers, pointing rifles at them. The soldiers, upon finding out who they were, put down their rifles and said they were there to rescue them. The woman claimed that her arms were paralysed. I took her to a nearby park bench where we all sat and played cards. I suspected that her arms were fine, so I started to torment her by putting things near her hands etc. Eventually she got mad and just grabbed things, and then everybody saw that her arms were fine. We all laughed about it (including her).
    13. Finally had a snowboarding dream at least

      by , 04-14-2012 at 02:59 PM
Im a snowboarder tasked to keep watch over the mountain and fix any problems that arise, no matter the difficulty. *My first job is on the slope known for insane winds. *An avalanche is beginning to build and I have to stop it before it reaches the town. *As I walk away from my drop off helicopter a gust of wind blows it off the cliff. *Its up to the pilot now, so I drop in to the slope. *The avalanche proves, like most avalanches, to be unstoppable by one snowboarder. *When I reach the town its oddly unscathed. *I look back. *The avalanche is harmlessly turning into a stream of water on the strip of desert on the mountain slope. M is waiting at the town. *She says Christmas is tomorrow. *What? We haven't even set up a tree!
      --no recall here--
My next task is to rescue a crying young boy (nobody i havd ever met) named Timmy from a cable car parked at the top of a slope. *M is busy in town looking on her iPod on an app that is basically a welcome to visitors, so I'm on my own. *I pick up T and begin the ride down. *We crash and I suddenly find myself back at the top of the slope. *I respawned? *I decide to try to mess up what I now see as a scripted scenario in a game, I walk in front of T to see if he spazzes out trying to walk through me like most video game characters. *Suddenly my sworn enemies known to cause trouble on the slopes show up. *I ask what they are here for. *They say nothing but they show me a video clip of a YTMV of T crying. *I wake up.

    14. 01/19/12: Man on a Ledge

by , 01-20-2012 at 06:01 AM (New Dream Adventures of Raven Knight)
      01/19/12

      Man on a Ledge
I am on top of a building looking out over the city, I have come up here to check out the view from the top of the office building where my new job is. I have finally found a job, though it isn't the exact job I was looking for. I look out over the city and then I see that I'm not alone there. There is a man near the corner of the building, standing right on the ledge. I wonder if he is considering jumping. I see that he has a little girl. He is holding her up in the air and laughing maniacally. Is he going to throw her over the edge?! I have to keep that from happening! I head towards the man to see if I can get him off the ledge. The man leans forward and falls from the ledge. I am close enough to grab hold of his belt to keep him from falling and taking the girl with him. I am surprised at my own strength as I pull him back from the ledge and onto the building. He says that was too close… he thought he was going to fall. I tell him I saw the whole thing, so don't bother lying. The little girl is crying, I am thinking I need to get her to safety and tell the authorities what the man was doing. He needs to see a shrink…

    15. Saving the Princess

      by , 12-02-2011 at 08:14 AM
      11/30/2011
I was hanging out with John and A. We left our backpacks on the ground by the car, and we left the girl/princess in the car. We climb up this stair thing. At the top we're joking and talking. Then we realize someone might steal our stuff. We rush back down. Our backpacks are still there, with most of our stuff still in them (mine had stuff in different places than I left it), but the princess is gone. We are worried that she will be raped.

I try to make a potion to find the princess. I mix nerds (the candy), chocolate, and maybe something else in water. I got the chocolate from A, because I only have a whopper, which hasn't got a lot of chocolate in it. A gave me two mint-covered chocolate balls. I put one of each in the mix and stir, waiting for it to dissolve. It's taking its time. I split one of the chocolate candies in half so it'll melt faster. I don't think it's working quite right. I show it to the potions master and ask him about it. He says the chocolate I used wasn't pure enough. He helps me get something working.

I'm at the place the princess was taken. I pretend to be her... owner? to get into where she is. I know the real 'owner' will come along soon, though. I tell the princess to make me a sandwich. I put mustard on it myself. When the real guy comes along, I'm prepared. He's dressed in red, and his hair and beard are dark. We exchange a few words, then I throw the sandwich at him. It explodes, due the explosive runes I wrote on it with the mustard. I know I'm dreaming, so I can use interesting powers. I turn into a dragon (sort of) and bite his head off.

I'm back to my normal self. For some reason, I'm sticking to the wall in a corner, sort of spider-man style and closer to the ceiling than the floor. I think I tried to turn myself into the wall, to hide, when I was scared of that guy, but I ended up sticking to the wall instead.

Some guys (three of them) walk through a door, into this room. I think they are dungeons & dragons nerds. There are polyhedral dice on the floor. I use telekinesis to make the dice come to my hand, one at a time, throwing them at the skinny blond guy as I get them. One time, instead of using telekinesis, I moved my hand into a position so that it looked like I was holding the far away die because of an optical illusion, and then willed the die to be close rather than far.

I tell the blond guy that I am dreaming. I tell him that he is dreaming, too, but that's about when I wake up, so I don't get to see how he reacts.
