    1. Swimming across the ocean

      by , 02-15-2011 at 10:14 AM
Last night I thought I'd give WILDing a try, but I failed because I wasn't lying in a comfortable enough position. I didn't want to give it another try so I went to sleep the normal way.

From there on I remember being with friends in a city - judging from the architecture probably French - in the middle of a terrorist attack. We were armed too and tried to hide the weapons from the police who were trying to sweep through the neighbourhood.

The second part I remember is me swimming in the ocean at night, swimming towards an island far away, which I could barely see in the moonlight. Suddenly something grabbed one of my feet and pulled me down, at this moment I woke up.

I think tonight I will try to adjust my position to something a bit more comfortable where I can relax all my muscles in an attempt to get a WILD.
I'm happy though, I managed to actually recognize some of the people in my dreams

    2. Flight over Louisville, and Making Use of Lucidity

by , 02-08-2011 at 05:56 PM (The Lab Notebook)
Awake, Non-lucid, Semi-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

The first thing I remember is thinking, I should really do an RC. [I have no idea why I thought that, but I did.] I do, and discover that I can breathe through my nose while holding it shut. Strangely, though, I find I can't do anything more than that, besides lie there. I can't even see anything around me. I try to get up, but I can't. I think, "I have no mouth, and I must scream," but I don't really mean it; I'm not afraid or even really concerned, just slightly puzzled, and I'm just observing that my situation is comparable to the one for which the short story is named.

[Later, I had a really, really cool non-lucid.] My mom, P., and I get into the open, upholstered back seat of a tiny little wooden propeller plane, big enough for the three of us and a pilot, who sits in a seat in front of ours. The plane takes off from the airport in the city of Louisville, which I know [in the dream] is the greenest city in America. [It looks nothing like the real Louisville.] We fly over the city in our plane, admiring the view. There is a big building with cascades of water gushing through big, rectangular openings on one side. I think, I hope that's a power plant. It obviously is, powering the entire city. The city is very beautiful from the air. It is on a very flat, sandy plain, next to the ocean. [Wait, what?! Real!Louisville is landlocked! It's by a river, but it's not the same thing.]

The little plane flies low over the ocean, so that we can dip our rubber-thong-sandal-clad feet in the water as we fly along. Then, suddenly, I find myself in the ocean water, holding on to a dark purple foam mat that floats in the water. I'm wearing my favorite swimsuit [that I have in real life]. I see the plane, floating with most of the plane below the surface of the water, the pilot still in his seat. I hang on tightly to the foam mat to keep myself afloat, knowing that I can't swim. [Strange; I could swim back on February 2.] There are other swimmers in the water besides me and my family. A young man grabs hold of my mat and flips it up and pushes it over onto me, trying to use it to playfully push me under the water. I pretend to go along with it, but manage to keep my head above water. [Now that I think of it, I was much more buoyant in the water in this dream than I am in reality, and could keep an arbitrary amount of my body above water, just like in my dream on February 2; I just wasn't aware that I could do that this time.]

My family and I get back onto the plane, which is getting ready to take off from the water. I have a conversation with the pilot about how there have to be at least two feet of distance between the surface of the water and the wings of the plane in order for it to take off. It takes off with the help of a wave that gives it a push from behind, then climbs back into the sky. The pilot says something about how he's heading back to the airport, since it's so close by that there will be practically no weather at all there. The plane returns to the airport and lands there.

[Later in the night, after a very brief WBTB.] I'm talking about being a lucid dreamer [whether to myself or to someone else, I'm not sure]. I ramble on about the mental discipline I have to have for a bit, not really paying attention to what I'm saying. Suddenly, I realize that for the last several sentences, I haven't been talking about lucid dreaming at all; I've been talking about being kind and behaving well toward other people. At some point, without realizing it, I shifted from talking about being a lucid dreamer to talking about being a Christian. I say to myself, “That's a good sign. It means my subconscious has its priorities in order.”

I'm in House #1, and am now definitely lucid. Everything around me is vague and blurry. I try to focus my attention on some of the scenery to make it clearer, and it works a little bit, but the house looks as if I'm looking at it through dark, spot-and-fingerprint-covered sunglasses. I'm walking back and forth in the master bedroom, which is much more spacious than it was in the real House #1. I remember that my dreaming goal for tonight was to practice delivering my 30-second commercial, so I start practicing.

"Hello, my name is (Emiko)," I say. "I'm a computer technician... networking technician... I'm a computer technician who specializes in networking."

I go on to say the same thing I've been saying almost every time I've practiced this, about saving money for my previous employer. I can't think of anything new and creative to add to my 30-second commercial. I'm rather surprised. I had expected the words and thoughts to flow more easily here, but it's actually a little bit harder to deliver a good 30-second commercial in a lucid dream than it is in reality.
[So much for using all of your brain's potential while you're dreaming. Not for that purpose, anyway. I suppose my brain was also busy generating the scenery around me. Or maybe I just need to gain more dreaming experience. I don't know.]

There's another reason why I'm having difficulty practicing my 30-second commercial: I'm distracted by my stuffy nose, which is now running. I wipe it with a black paper napkin with white polka dots on it, remarking, “I didn't think dream bodies could get sick like this!” As I continue pacing the master bedroom, I think, I could try walking through that wall there if I wanted to, but I decide not to, because I have something more important to work on while I'm here.

I step forward far enough to see around the corner into the bathroom, to the left. I see the DC version of my mom there. She's wearing a light yellow T-shirt and is crouched down, apparently looking for something under the sink. I say, “Oh. Hi, Mom. I have this cold right now. I don't know why I'm telling you this. Just to let you know.”

She says something along the lines of, “Well, don't get it on me.” I turn away, looking back into the master bedroom, and discover that I can now see everything with perfect clarity. “Oh, now I can see!” I exclaim, slightly annoyed. I walk toward the other end of the room, aiming to explore beyond another doorway into another part of the house.
[Stupidly,] I close my eyes, and then open my real eyes. I'm disappointed in myself when I realize that I've lost the dream by doing something that I know better than to do.

    3. Swimming in the Jungle Cruise Pools at Night

by , 02-03-2011 at 07:11 AM (The Lab Notebook)
Awake, Non-lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

I'm on a strange version of the Jungle Cruise ride at Disneyland. Instead of one continuous waterway that meanders across solid ground like a real river, it consists of a series of interconnected, rectangular pools that are separated from each other by waterfalls. They're all still surrounded by jungle foliage, though, and they all have some kind of animatronic animal in or around them. One of them has an animatronic person swimming in the middle. It's nighttime.

I'm navigating these waterways all alone, in a single-person canoe. As I paddle my canoe along, I think, I hate going through this ride by myself. There's no one to do the spiel for me. I try to do it myself, but I'm not as good at it as the regular skippers are. I go over at least one waterfall in my canoe. There's no impact when my canoe hits the water; it just calmly transitions from one pool to the next.

I reach a particularly tall waterfall, with a bunch of gray rocks between the pool I'm in and the one below it. I'm tired of putting in the effort it takes to paddle, so I give up trying to canoe my way through the ride and just climb down the rocks. When I reach the lower pool, I decide to go swimming in it.

When I get into the pool, I start treading water. I move very quickly across the large, rectangular pool by this means, keeping my head completely out of the water the entire time, and feeling very proud of the fact that I've mastered the skill of treading water.
[Which I haven't done in real life, by the way; I can sort of do it, but I'm not any good at it at all.] Being in the water feels really, really nice.

[Recall is a little hazy here. I think I remember the following two things:] Two or more people pour more water into the pool I'm in, making it colder. I get into and out of the water at least once. [I definitely remember everything from here on out:] I'm now in a smaller, but still rectangular pool, right next to the bigger one I initially got into. The shorter ends of the two rectangles are right next to each other. I look around in this smaller pool for a way to climb out. At first, I'm disappointed because I don't see one, but then I see it. There are some metal steps leading out of the pool, attached to the interior wall near the far corner. There are two girls I don't know in the water near the steps. I also see the B. brothers crouched down near the other short end of the pool, looking at me. [They're acquaintances from real life; I've mentioned them in my dream journal before in this entry. They're the two brothers who sang with the Parrish girls.] I'm naked, so when I see them, I imagine a bikini, and it appears on my body. [Despite this, at no point did I ever become lucid.] Then I climb out of the pool.

[Different dream.] I'm at home [or possibly in a hotel room; it didn't look like any of our houses], lounging around on a bed, doing something on my laptop. My parents want to go out somewhere, but I'm not ready. My dad jokes, "This battery-powered computer is called a 'wait-for-me device!'" I laugh a little, then stop what I'm doing, get up, and go to finish getting dressed so that we can go. Then my alarm went off and I got up.
    4. Again to the disco, I hate the disco

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was in a city walking along with J when I saw T. She wanted to go to the disco. There was a long line to enter but they let T in first, then J and finally me, but when it was my turn the bouncer asked me who I was with and criticized my shoes. The disco was large and had a rectangular shape. There were quite a few people but not so many that you couln't confortably move between places. There was a huge ball pit and J went down a slide to enter. When I did I saw T hanging on a bar above the entrance of the ball pit and she let go after I had landed among all the balls, which I realized had the shape of bell peppers. I tried to swim across to the exit but it was hard, everyone was doing it faster than me.
    5. Lucid Dream # 27

by , 01-30-2011 at 08:06 PM (Warbenifit156's Lucid Dreaming Adventures)
      Lucidity: 7/10
      Vividness: 7/10
      Length: ~10 Min.

I was walking, then I was about a mile away from the bus all of a sudden. I was like "hey, look, I'm dreaming!" So I saw the bus I was on and tried to swim towards it. After swimming for a while I started to fly. Then I landed and saw this black cat. It did everything I did. I ignored the cat. So the bus went behind this big metal thing so I ran very fast and jumped. I jumped very high and didn't make it. Then I just started to jump for fun. I also did a front flip. So I finally got on the bus after an hour and there was a contest thing. We chose a team and tried to touch each other's heads before the timer ran out. I chose the wrong team and was like "oh, man." But it really wasn't that bad. When it started I put time in slow-motion. I just wanted it to do it and it did. So I was just touching peoples heads and this one lady didn't have any earrings on. She was also very ugly.

I was in an underwater world where people travelled by these strange sorts of cages, when i noticed i was underwater i panicked but a DC told me it was ok because they changed my lungs, i decided not to take any chances and hold my breath, so for a while i was being pulled around by those strange cages and then i was on the highway beside my home ( this is it, therre a 50 m drop beneth it http://www.atmb.net/IMG/jpg_ROUTE_AP...TUNNEL-1-2.jpg ) and i was grinding a rail down the middle in my shoes, i alipped and fell on my nuts , i looked down and saw my pants were torn and my b*ll sack too, then i'm at the swimming pool and my coach says i'm fine and gives me some morphine, i walk around there for a while then my coach comes up to me and says "show me your motor functions" so i started saying numbers but then i couldn't control it and the left side of my face goes numb and limp, i understand i'm having a stroke. I hold out my hand to him with my fingers spread and say five , i look at my hand and see i actually do have 5 fingers then my dream fades to black

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

This dream left me with a warm fuzzy feeling in the morning...
I was the new girl at some institutional place, but I was with a group of people I knew; it may have been a merge between schools, or we were just sent there as a work experience. I remember being supposed to work in that school for special needs kids.
We were being introduced to other young people, and one of the guys seemed to be struck by me, as I was by him. My name was the only one he could remember and we started to flirt more or less openly, although very innocently. It's just that we got on so well.

He looked a bit like Jackson Davis, who played Jonas in LonelyGirl15, except with bright blue eyes, so I shall refer to him as Jonas.
Actually, his eyes (and those of his ancestors) were so blue that his surname was "Azur-blue ocean"
Later on I visiting the school, went to the swimming-pool and then sunbathing with my female friends. Jonas Azur-blue ocean joined us and lay down next to me and we were just comfortable. My friends said nothing but I could see that they were all "Aww look at the two of them they're so cute!"
The funny thing is, although I did enjoy that soulmate feeling, I woke up feeling guilty towards the guy I'm actually flirting with in real life.

    8. Boxing, big house, birthday, dark waters..

      by , 11-27-2010 at 09:00 AM
I should really start using this more often.

Last night's dream was unlike any other ive had before.
the first part, i was in this hall and i was boxing with someone. I know that guy, and i'm pretty sure it's that guy. But i might be wrong. anyway, we were boxing, not like as a competition, but more like a friendly match, or a training. When we were done, we lied down on the floor, with my head on his chest, just lying there.. i think i was tracing his face with my fingertips when he said 'you like this, right?' and i just smile and nodded and didnt say anything back. i felt.. uncertain. its true i was happy but at the same time it didnt feel right.

the second one, i was at a lake. it was very very very dark. the waters were dark blue/black, a little bit like the water in Harry Potter 1 when they were on the little boats heading to hogwarts. i remember being on a boat but then i was stuck on one of those little bridges and someone came and rescued me. afterwards.. while on that boat, everyone on this one side started jumping off the bridge and into the water and swimming towards the pavement and i was wondering why and all of a sudden mini bomb/fireworks went off so i, too went swimming and heading for the pavement. it was a very quick swim.

the third one i ended up in this big house, felt as if ive been there before, some of the stuff seemed so familiar. anyway, i was hiding in the dark, and my aunty opended the door and its as if she saw me.. but im not so sure.. i was hiding for some reason.. i remember going out after and sneaking round and they were all singing happy birthday.. im not sure to who.

and finally, the last dream, which is vague, i was in a courtroom.. and i remember getting my boyfriend in the courtroom and telling him ' we need to talk '..

still trying to remember the rest..
      any thoughts?

I was at a friends house, which was somewhere in the country, sort of in the middle of nowhere...though the area wasn't deserted. They lived in a rural suburb of some sort...but the houses were built on cliffs and were old and crumbling. As we drove up to the house, we had to wind our way around a cliff face and I looking up and saw all these magnificent old houses in various styles of architecture: gothic, rococo, art nouveau...and it looked as though they would fall apart at any minute. As though they had been battered by years of sand and wind raking against the cliff faces. I remember putting my hands up over my head to avoid getting hit with anything that might fall.

Once we reached the top however the land changed very much and became more flat, like the countryside. I remember being inside this friends house when everything just started flooding. The water was pouring in...it was clear, bright water...and I went outside and saw rivers of this gorgeous water flowing over all the land. We lost our footing and got swept up in the current. The water was flowing like a river over the roads, and it was several feet deep, as though some invisible barriers were keeping the water in the road.

Once I hit the current I realized I was dreaming...and swam like a dolphin moving quickly with the water, through the streets...as they curved downwards, and went under bridges and railroad crossings. There were lots of other people in the water too, and they were sort of floating along like it was a lazy river.

Then I noticed something dark in the water...it was coming after me. But what was it? It could swim faster than I could. I kept watching it, just thinking to myself that I could fly away if I had to. Then I remember that I have had trouble flying out of water with strong currents, and that I would sometimes get pulled back into the water. So before the dark thing got closer, I willed myself to float up and out of the water. It worked, though my feet were still skimming the surface and the dark had come out of the water now, it looked like a man. I turned my head toward the sky and flew away...waking up shortly after.

I enjoyed the dream so much that I decided not to move a muscle upon waking, and used the dream re-entry technique (or as I call it, instinct, which is what most "techniques" on this site basically are). I immediately entered a new dream...or wait...was it the same dream. I was back at the friends house, but the flood water was gone. What remained however was an enormous swimming pool, full of crystal clear water. The landscape looked like the american south west, I guess, not having been there. But it was sort of a rocky desert.

My sister was relaxing in the pool. Suddenly it was as though we were on vacation. She turned around and gasped...and I did the same...as we looked at one end of the swimming pool we saw that the waters flowed down a very steep slope and into, what appeared to be...a cenote...way down below. A cenote is an underground cave or sinkhole full of water (we went snorkeling in these before in mexico) The sun was shining on the water and rocks down below and suddenly the waters of the caribbean were beckoning me forth and I dove down into the cenote.

I think I woke up shortly after. I again tried to reenter the dream, and I believe it worked, but I don't think I was lucid, or I forget what happened. After that I had a few nonlucids.

I wish I could remember more. But I do remember how incredibly happy I felt swimming around all night...I love water.

Over the last week or something the following things happened to me:

I had weird sleep paralysis twice in one night but then each time I got it I woke up again

I woke up and felt that I was splashing about and stuff in the water. I thought "holy shit how did I get into a swimming pool!?" :S
"...oh...I must be dreaming! Shit, hopefully I can still attain lucidity!"
But then because I had super-realised that I was dreaming, I was trying hard to hold on to my dream but I opened my eyes and I woke up

      So close!

      Wrong class
I am swimming. Afterwards we go back to b-1 high on a bus. I sit beside s-1. Once at school I go to a year 10 math class but thinking that's it's a year 12. The teacher is bald. I sit up the front beside a girl Caucasian. I am tired and don't pay attention. He writes up simple math in the board. Then another teacher comes in. She can write Thai. She write algebraic equations with a mix of Thai and English. Real confusing to the class and herself. I am able to answer though. Something to do with suthep's last name and his sister's last name. I decide that this is too simple and tell the bald teacher that I want to go to mr sum-2 class. He asks me if I want a note. I say yes please thank you. I look at my watch. 2.05pm and wonder if it's the end of the period anyway and if mr sum will let me in. He gives me an a4 sized note. Is there that much to write.
I go home. Dad picks me up and asks where I would like to go. I say dreamworld. Once we are there I see a dinosaur with red eyes looking from the car park. I remember that I have a swimming lesson but don't want to disappoint my dad. So I stay.

    12. Selling my Nintendo

by , 09-07-2010 at 01:08 PM (Nom nom nom, Mmmattelicious...)
      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Good morning! I tried to sleep as much as I could this morning, hoping I would get a Lucid Dream but I didn't.
I didn't even have as many dreams as I wanted, I could only remember three. And I think I have to change my sleeping cycle if I want more, I will do that tomorrow. The time at the beginning of each dream, indicates when I wrote them down, and the dream itself happened inbetween.

D1 Night: I'm in my appartment, waiting for some guy to come. I am about to sell my old Nintendo 8-bits. I can hear the doorbell ring so I open the door. "Hey, welcome" I say and he enters the appartment. I show him the console and he starts checking it out. "Wow this is a really nice piece" he says and I agree. "You know, depending on the quality of the sound, you could get 900€ for this kind of thing. If you sell it like this, it will sell for like 100€ tops" I am starting to regret selling him the thing and remember that I have another Nintendo in my closet. "Hey I got another one, it's a newer version, do you mind if I sell you that instead?" I ask and he says sure. I bring it out and it's indeed a newer version. It's gray and black and has a much cooler shape.

D2 10.30: I'm in a car with my girlfriend. She's driving around in circles in a tight spot and howls in joy. "I want to go on an airplane!" she yells while I'm sitting there next to her, barely affected at all. I'm having a conversation with my friend Eric. I think it was on the phone since he wasn't in the car. Anyways I'm telling him some stuff that has happened, and he keeps telling me: "I know, you told me already" I'm starting to doubt my memory, it's usually very good.

D3 11.56: I'm shopping for some groceries with a couple of friends of mine, we buy some oranges and get on a bus. I see a really obese girl outside and points at her while looking at Felix who's sitting in the back of the bus, he smiles at me and I turn around. I do the heartsign with my hands over my head and the bus stops. Some people gets on and starts complaining about our cart being in the way. They find their seat after alot of fuzz and a former classmate of mine starts whining about it. She has a mustache haha. We arrive to our destination at last and we get out. We're at this beautiful farm on the country and are greeted by the farmer and his wife. A small dog barks at me when I'm walking past them. "Haha that dog has a cool bark for its size" I think to myself and I take a look around. The sun is shining and there's green grass everywhere. The rest of the group is already down by the sea. I head towards them and starts to walk down some rock in which there's a big pond. I slip and hurt my knee and the oranges get all wet. After a complicated walk I'm in the sea and I can really taste the salt in the water. "Hey Matteh, which games do you play, Diablo 2?" some guy asks me. I tell him I used to play it before, but not anymore.

      Amount of sleep: 10 hours

Well that was it. I probably won't dream as much tomorrow. But I will probably have one or two dreams. Otherwise I'll just write down an LD I had a few days ago.

      Keep on dreaming, HARE BRA!

    13. Adrift on the Mountaintops

      by , 08-14-2010 at 08:21 AM
Me and my dad are on a large grassy and mountainous islands, when suddenly the tide starts rising. It doesn't rise continuously, but rises by a large increment every so often. Me and my dad climb and swim our way to higher ground, and as the water rises only 4 mountains that now look like islands remain, the only ones not fully submerged. From order of lowest to highest, I will assign them 3, 2, 1a and 1b. We swim across the water from the top of 3 to get to 2, and the water rises again as we arrive. My dad points out to me a dead fish in the water that I don't see, but I realize that all life underwater has somehow died. On 2, an older woman awaits and discusses which mountain we should swim to next (1a or 1b), and I know she won't be coming. The mountains are both in front of us, 1a is slightly lower than 1b and has a dirt path leading up to a dirt plateau. 1b is a large forest. I also notice a large ruined structure connecting the mountains, that looks like it could have been a ruined bridge from Fallout, and there is also a layer of stone and metal wire debris on top of the water directly underneath it. I have a feeling that we should go to 1a for some reason, but my dad and the woman decide on 1b because it's higher, and I agree. As we begin swimming, I see a dead see creature, and then my asshole friends wake me up by throwing pennies at me.

PART 1 - GUN AND SWIMMING WITH COP PARTNER

I'm a cop. We're in the middle of some operation. For some reason I don't have a gun, but I want one, and tell my partner this. I walk up to the higher up girl - long black hair - to ask for one without thinking, but she's in the middle of some important process with someone else. She has an imposing presence, I feel embarrassed for interrupting and back off.

I'm working with a female partner... I'm on her back as we swim somewhere.

Uh, something about a purple Godzilla-like creature... not sure where this fits.

Perhaps the gun represents empowerment, but I'm too afraid to take it. This would reflect my current social life.

Swimming on partner's back, depending on them... I was thinking about asking someone for support yesterday ("Ker"), perhaps that is a metaphor for that.

      PART 2 - LI MEDITATION

At the corner between home and work.

One of my IRL coworkers, Li, is stretching and meditating, cross legged.

      ANALYSIS

My shift was right after hers yesterday, and I remember thinking she was very attractive. I assume the impression she left was the trigger.

The meditation and stretching would seem to reflect a certain "divine" presence.

Interesting that it was at "the corner," to which previously only negative experiences were associated (mugging & deception, etc.) There must be some broader meaning to this location.

      PART 3 - NIK

Someone that I vaguely know, Nik... she seems younger and thinner than IRL. Portrayed as a "free spirited" character...

      ANALYSIS

The trigger for this must have been looking over some old (almost two years now) Livejournal messages yesterday involving this person.

      PART 4 - WORK

At work. Customer, older lady, late 40s/early 50s, says "Mutalisks are always good." Don't remember how the conversation turned to this...

She wants to hand in another resume, says there's already two more of hers "in the cabinet" (where resumes are kept.) I wonder why she wants to hand in another if we already have two.

      ANALYSIS

Perhaps the "stupid question" and slight irritation is simply a reflection of the norm IRL.

I ended up waking up at about 3:30, when I wrote everything down. Having a voice recorder would have been MUCH more convenient for this type of "middle of the night" recording. Unfortunately I forgot my MP3 downstairs.

Tonight I will borrow my mother's electronic voice recorder and keep it by my bed - waking up in the middle of the night with dreams seems to be becoming more common.

I had a dream where I was choosing hard drvies to put into some computer, and I chose SCSI drives because they are awesome. I was trying to connect them but they had these weird connections to the motherboard

Another part of my dream involved magic and stuff.

OMFG I JUST REMEMBERED there was a spider in my dream *shudders* I feel sick thinking of it hahaha. Like...it wasn't just an ordinary spider. It was massive and hairy, with legs about 1cm thick and 10cm long. I had to go through this thing (more than once) where I would run through some checkpoint and it would jump onto my neck from behind while I was running through. And then I had to flick it off. o_O But sometimes its legs would get stuck between my head and shoulder, and it would be difficult to swipe away. Oh man.
I was running with someone else, some guy, and there was this other guy watching what we were doing and looking over us, like a mentor or teacher or instructor or something. The guy I was running with went and asked the mentor for advice on his Adam's apple, because apparently it was hanging too low or something weird like that. It was the side effect of SOMETHING, I don't know what.

And then there was the magical part. There were some of my relatives from Philippines there. Mostly my older Aunties I think. Anyway, there was this really weird arrangement of tables and they were underwater. I think I will try to sketch it. (No I won't do that because it looks terrible ).
And there was some person I was following (who resembled my mum somewhat) that told me to stay above water because most of the evil people just stayed underwater because they didn't know how to go above water or something along those lines. So we were diving round above water (but still kind of swimming ) and there were all these weird shrine-like things that looked underwater-y. I can't remember much more than that.
