      Lucid Dream 235: Mystery Warehouse
Series: The End of Days, Episode 3
      DILD

I was in some sort of strange warehouse building. There were bulk supplies scattered all around the large room. Instead of a ceiling, there was a thick layer of fog. There no walls either. Instead of surrounding walls, there were heavy, black stage curtains. Me and my friend Ryano were sitting on stack of pallets, smoking a blunt. He hopped down and started climbing up a giant stack of fold-out metal cots. I could see the tower of cots starting to lean and I said, "Ryano, you big bastard! Those are definitely going to fall over." He kept climbing anyway. Sure enough, the stack of cots fell over on top of him. One landed on his right leg and broke it. It was pretty brutal actually. His broken tibia was sticking out of his leg. He howled in pain for a bit as I lifted the cots off his leg. He then told me thanks and stood up. He started walking around with his bone sticking out of his leg and acted like nothing was wrong. I thought, "There is no way he show be able to walk right now." I asked myself how that was possible and I began to suspect I was dreaming. I performed a nose pinch RC to confirm.

I look at Ryano as he lets out an overly dramatic sigh and hunches over a bit. I asked him what was wrong and he said, "My legs don't match. I need to break the other one." I laughed and helped him find something to break his other leg. I found an aluminum baseball bat and asked him if I could have the honor of smacking him with it. He agreed. I took a Happy Gilmore swing and cracked the bat against his left leg. I heard his bone crunch and he toppled over. He stood back up and now had bones sticking out from both of his legs. He now seemed very happy.

I then decided to explore this strange place. I took flight and busted through one of the nearby curtains. I arrived in what seemed to be a ninja store. There were katanas, ninja stars, and tons of ninja-like gear. I grabbed a crazy looking curved-blade sword with dragon hilt. I then sliced through one of the curtain walls and entered another store. This one appeared to be a chinese antique shop. There were many decorative looking items, statues, and a vending machine with only green tea. I decided to trash the place with my dragon sword. I smashed up the glass, broke some statues, knocked over the vending machine and took a drink of green tea. I thought to myself, "Yup, this shit is just as disgusting as in waking life." Needless to say, I didn't take a second drink.

I cut through another curtain and found myself back in the warehouse where me and Ryano were earlier. Cliff, Chris R, Deej and some random DCs were in there as well. I started doing some ninja warrior-style cliffhanger climbing on the various structures. The DCs seemed impressed as I jump-hanged from structure to structure, using only my fingertips to catch myself. One of the DCs below started preaching to the rest of us. He was shouting, "The anti-christ is nigh! Soon it will all be over." I ignored his ramblings and took flight once again. This time, I flew up through the fog (ceiling). I was now in a large room with solid walls. There were tons of empty cages and the room was fairly dark. I heard something that sounded like a growl. I looked down one of the aisles of cages and saw a dog snarling its teeth at me. Suddenly, about 20 dogs swarmed me and began biting my arms like a police dog does. I pulled away and took flight. I began swooping down at the dogs and snapping their necks. I noticed that the preaching guy was in the room also. He started yelling, "It has begun! The anti-christ has let out his hell hounds. Today marks the beginning of the end!" The dogs were now engulfed in flames. The preaching guy rambled on and on as I battle the hell hounds. During this battle, I awoke from the dream.

Series: The End of Days, Episode 4
      WILD

I woke up after a relatively uninteresting non-lucid dream and decided to WILD. I performed my technique and go into SP after about 15 minutes. I felt my entire body sliding up and down. I was laying on my stomach and my face rubbing against the pillow causing friction. It started to burn and I had to remind myself that this was all a hallucination. I was able to take my mind off of it and my body started floating around the room. After a bit, my body stopped and I knew I had completed the transition.

I stood up, turned, and dove head first out of my window. I took flight before landing and flew toward the horizon. I decided to fly into the clouds. I flew in and out of the clouds and they made "puffff" noises whenever I flew into them. I started scanning the ground below for something interesting. I saw a lake, so I flew down to take a closer look.

I landed on the boat dock and saw a man wearing a shiny blue robe. He seemed to look vaguely familiar. As I approached him, I recognized it was my dream guide, Merlin the Wizard. I said, "Where the hell have you been?" He looked at a loss for words. I said, "You are suppose to be my dream guide and you haven't showed up in over 2 years!" He said, "You really didn't need me anyway." I thought, "What a dick." I asked him why he was there now and he told me that the fate of the world was in my hands. He said Armageddon was coming soon and he had to give me something. I noticed Merlin's eye were red and puffy. I said, "You could have at least came and smoked some weed with me every now and then." He looked at me and seemed to zone out. After several moments of silence he gave a chuckle and said, "Yeah." I laughed and thought to myself, "He is fuuuuuucked up."

Merlin then reached inside his robe and pulled out two golden cups. He told me that they were the chalice's of fate. He said I had to use them to strike down the dark lord. He handed me one of them and then held the other one up in the air. He seemed to be admiring the way the light made it shine. Suddenly, the cup slipped out of his hand, clanked on the dock, and fell into the lake. Merlin let out an unconcerned curse and pushed me off the dock and into the lake.

I cursed his name as I dove down to retrieve the chalice. The lake was pretty deep, but the visibility underwater was awesome. It noticed the bow of a wooden ship was sticking out of the sand at the bottom. There were also many fish swimming around the area. Some were as large as I was. I spotted a barracuda and thought it may attack me. I cursed for letting the thought enter my mind. Seconds later, the barracuda snapped at my feet. I was able to dodge it easily and realized I had excellent agility, even though I was under water. Pretty soon there were sharks, barracudas, and these strange alligator-dolphin hybrids all trying to attack me. I spent a long time just dodging the fish in a comical way. I was mocking them and then dodging at the last second. A couple times, i grabbed one and threw it into the other fish.

Finally, I dove down to the very bottom of the lake and started digging around in the sand. I expected to find the chalice slight buried and I eventually found it. I saw several treasure chests scattered along the bottom of the lake, but somehow I knew there was nothing in them. I then looked out into the lake. I just saw a massive wall of dark blue and I got a little freaked out. I swam quickly toward the surface and took one last peak out into the deep water. I saw the shadow of something massive. I mean, this thing was 100+ feet long. I freaked out and felt the dream fading. I prepared to DEILD.

      DEILD

I transitioned smoothly back into the dream state upon waking. I was now laying on the lake shore. I noticed there was a large group of people in the sheltered picnic area. As I approached, I noticed there were tons of attractive females in the group. I walked up to the front of the area and shouted, "Ok ladies. It is time to start the marathon. I have no doubt we can break the guinness world record. I then took the hand of a nearby female, unzipped my pants and she began blowing me. All the females got into a line behind her. I walked down the line and let each one of the blow me for a bit. I think a couple of them were grandmas, but I let them have a turn anyway. Many of the girls were getting naked also. People started dancing and the scene changed to a club. I continued to jump from blowjob to blowjob. Some of the girls, I couldn't feel anything. Some of them, it felt amazing. After a while of this, I shouted, "We did it! Celebration orgy time!" Everyone in the club started stripping and it turned into a massive orgy. I spotted a sexy asian and walked over to her. I began kissing her when the dream began to fade. I couldn't hold on to it and I woke from the dream.

    2. Ocean Cul-de-sac

      by , 06-20-2011 at 07:46 PM
I was on the beach, but there was this Cul-de-sac of ocean water that reached further inland than the rest of it. Around the perimeter of the water was a near continuous boardwalk, and level with the perimeter of the boardwalk was a near continuous row of shops, venues, living quarters, and a hotel. All the buildings were beautiful, with large windows and white stucco exteriors. Their interiors were lavish yet tasteful. There were long planters and potted plants all over the place, filled with tropical plants and flowers. The waters were like crystal, with beautiful, vibrant sea-life. I pitched a little tent in one of the areas where the boardwalk met a dock that was closer to water level, then I went on to explore this community. I spent a great deal of time swimming, as well as sampling many scrumptious pastries from the local bakery.

I didn't have anything by my side to record these dreams right away so it's been about an hour between remembering them and writing them.

I remember being at an indoor/outdoor pool place for our senior party (which was actually Friday). I didn't have swim trunks as usual, so I just walked around. i remember there being like 3 separate pools and lots of different floats in the water.

I also remember being with my father. He started getting mad at me for being lazy and wanted me to look for a job. I decided to take a walk down the street to get out, and when I came back he had come up with like a set of rules for me to live by. It seemed just like him.

      Surfing the Amazon (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Just a really memorable dream that happened a long while ago...

The dream started off with me rowing down the Amazon river in a canoe carved out of wood. Everything was so peaceful. As i slowly row down, i see all these different tribes and villages all along the sides of the river. All of them had huts built with twigs and mud with the native children running around and playing and the older people painting tribal patterns on their faces. All of a sudden, i see a wave forming behind me which is growing faster and faster untill it was about 12-14 foot big. The funny thing was,i didn't panic at all. instead I threw my paddle into the water, stood up on my canoe and it turned into a surf board! so there i was, surfing a 14foot monster wave in the middle of the amazon when i saw an end to the river up ahead with a massive waterfall. Again, i didn't panic. When i reached the waterfall,i jumped off the board, head first into the unknown as if i were jumping into the safety of a swimming pool. The fall felt as if it was going on forever, like i was almost flying.. Never have i felt so free in my life! Then i saw a pool under me. As i fell into the pool,i looked up...it was breath taking..All around me were fish and creatures of all colours, the sun forming diamonds on the ripples of the surface of the water. I swam up slowly, enjoying every moment of i was a part of this world.. When i reached the surface,i woke up,ecstatic.

      Length: 5 minutes
      Vividness: 7/10

My friends, Graham and Cooper, and I were by a pool and we decided to go in.
For some reason, Graham punched me in the crotch, and I did it back.
He told me not to because "it's an implant!"
I jumped in and cooper and I had a breath-holding competition.
I couldn't hold my breath any longer and I inhaled the water and woke up.

    6. The Glowing Lake

      by , 05-13-2011 at 03:16 AM (I Have a Problem)
      Date: 09-13-10
      Length: 20 Minutes
      Vividness: 8/10

I was sitting at a lake as the sun was beginning to set.
I was with Dakota and another person who I do not remember.

The lake was completely drained so we decided to go lay in it.
By the time we got down there, the sun had gone completely down, and the lake had filled a little bit.
The person who I don't remember swam to the ledge, and I followed.
Dakota made a comment about how fast I swim.

I looked around and saw a faint glowing ball in a little Cave of the lake.
The person I don't remember and I decided to swim to it.

As we started swimming, I got a feeling of being very scared of it.
I stopped and started heading back, feeling more and more terrified every second.
      I woke up right after.

    7. I've Met You in a Dream Before

by , 05-02-2011 at 05:12 AM (Twilight Tales)
My brother invited me to his house for a party. I got there and his friends Keith, Mark, Jeremy, and some others were there. This girl gave me a drink then I sat on a couch nearby. There was a guy next to me, who I realized I had met in my dreams before. I said "Hi" and he said "Hey how you been?" We talked about random stuff for awhile but then a fight broke out between my brother and this guy who was aparently in love with his friend Mark. My brother grabbed the guy by his shirt and threw him against a wall. Then the fight calmed down and we all decided to go swimming.

I was getting bored though and wished it was later so I could go home. Then I started talking to 'recurring dream guy' again in the pool. Then I remembered I had to get something out of my car. So I got out of the pool and somehow my car was parked at a parking lot to a local Speedway. Then suddenly there was a flash and I was in my cellar with my brother, father, and 'recurring dream guy'. I asked my father why he used his magical powers to teleport us. He said we needed to help clean the basement before partying. We said ok, but I asked why 'recurring dream guy' was there. Dad said "cuz he's a big guy and can lift boxes"
    8. Breathing Underwater, Talking with DCs, and Trying a Drug

by , 04-21-2011 at 06:49 AM (The Lab Notebook)
Awake, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

The moment I see my old college campus start to appear out of the darkness, I realize, Oh, cool, a dream is starting. There are lots of multistory buildings all around me, and it's a beautiful day with a vivid blue sky and puffy white clouds. The dream is fairly vivid [and remains so throughout its entire length]. I observe that the environment around me is consistent with the environment I've observed in previous dreams set on my old college campus. [Although, now that I think about it, I think the dreams I have that are set there feel similar more than they look similar. Being in the environment always feels the same, but I think the layout, the spatial relationships of buildings, is slightly different each time. The style of the buildings is always pretty much the same, though.]

I walk along among the buildings, and eventually
[possibly after a dreamskip?] find myself inside somebody’s house. The living room has been filled with chlorinated water and turned into a big, deep indoor pool. The second floor of the house is open to the living room, and has a balcony-like walkway that surrounds the living room on three sides. The water comes almost all the way up to the level of the walkway. When I see the pool, I think, This is a dream. I should be able to breathe underwater. I get into the water and start swimming down into the pool, testing this hypothesis. It proves to be correct. By consciously focusing on the knowledge that I can breathe underwater here, I can breathe underwater. While I'm swimming, I feel the resistance that one normally feels from the water when swimming, but not the wetness; I still feel completely dry. I also notice that breathing feels exactly the same as it normally does when I'm breathing air; those parts of my body don't feel any resistance from the water, whereas my skin and limbs do feel it. [I think this experience further demonstrates the same phenomenon that lies behind the nose-pinch reality check: doing something that would obstruct your ability to breathe in reality will not obstruct it in a dream, because your real body is still breathing normally.]

I resurface, then dive again, this time going all the way to the bottom of the pool. I find a small, square sticker there, part of a board game. I retrieve it and bring it to a dream character who is sitting on the walkway at the side of the pool opposite where I came into the room. He's playing the game that the sticker came from. I hand him the sticker, saying something like, “Here. This is part of your game. I brought this back for you.”

The dream character accepts the sticker and asks me to go over to the far corner of the room (near where I came in) and retrieve another, similar sticker that he dropped. I agree to do so. Before I dive under the water again, I pretend to take a deep breath and hold it, for the sake of appearances. I don't want any of the several dream characters who are around to realize that I have superhuman abilities. I dive toward the bottom corner of the pool at the far end of the room, where two walls come together at an acute angle. I find not only another sticker like the first one, but also a die, a playing card, and other, similar small objects from games. I pick them all up.

I decide to try to get back to the second floor by flying.
[Apparently because I want there not to be,] There's no water around me anymore. With a short grunt, I try unsuccessfully to take off. I decide to just climb the nearby stairs to get up to the second-floor walkway.

I walk along the walkway and stop in front of the male dream character playing the game. He asks me, “What was that grunt?”

“I was trying to jump up and fly back to the second floor,” I answer.

      “Why?” he asks.

I throw my handful of small game pieces at him. “Because you're a dream character!” I exclaim.
[Or it might have been, “Because I'm dreaming!” I don't quite remember. The main point is that I dropped all pretense that I was a regular person with no superhuman abilities at this moment, and admitted to being the dreamer.]

A second later, my conscience kicks in. “Wait. I don't know why I did that,” I say. “That was rude. I'm sorry.”

A woman about my age with short, dark hair joins our conversation at this point. She starts off by addressing me, saying something like, “That's right. You're dreaming.” She, the game-playing DC, and I all proceed to have a long, in-depth conversation on the subject of lucid dreaming.
[Unfortunately, I don't remember much of what we said. What I do recall is an overall impression that this woman was an expert on the subject, and that her attitude toward me was that of a supportive older mentor. She seemed interested in my progress and how much I had learned so far.] The dark-haired woman asks me something like, “This is your fortieth or so lucid dream, right?”

“Forty-seventh, or fiftieth, something like that,” I answer.

At another point during the conversation, another guy my age, named Andy, is also there in the room. The dark-haired woman points him out to me as another dreamer.
[I had no intention of anything like that happening to me. If it did, it was completely without my desire or consent.]

Andy, the woman, the game-playing DC, and I all walk out of the building onto the coast by my university. We're facing a sea cliff with train tracks running along it. We walk along and come to the grassy, topmost level of an amphitheater, built into the land where it slopes down toward the beach. Below the grassy part are many levels of bleachers made out of a metal mesh.

“I really like floaty things,” I observe, addressing the woman. I point out that there are a lot of colorful helium balloons around, and a lot of the other people who are around are flying small, colorful kites. I have one myself.

The other DCs who are there are passing around a strange contraption. At its center is a device that has a chamber in which marijuana leaves are burning, and a fan. The fan is keeping the semi-transparent plastic garbage bag that surrounds the device inflated. The bag is there to keep the marijuana smoke in, but there is a tear in the plastic near the knot, allowing the smoke to escape at a limited rate so that one might inhale it. One of the other, female DCs in the scene comes over to me and my group and offers us the contraption. The other DCs in my group accept it first and take hits from it, then offer it to me. My immediate reaction to getting the opportunity to try marijuana is, Yay! I can do this without getting in trouble or risking the health of my real body, and if I do it, I can brag about it on the forums!
      [Meaning DreamViews, of course.]

I accept the blown-up garbage bag and maneuver it so that the tear in the plastic is near my face. This isn't easy to do with the fan device constantly inflating the plastic from the inside and making it move around. When I've gotten the tear as close to my face as I can, I inhale some of the smoke through my nose. It has a plant-like smell. The drug doesn't make me feel any different, nor does it change the environment around me.

My companions and I sit down on the metal mesh bleachers to watch a concert
[or something like that]. As I sit down, I try to be careful not to get the string of my kite tangled up with the strings of my companions' kites.

There is a blue reusable shopping bag from Wal-Mart lying just to my left on the metal bleachers. It comes to life and starts wrapping its handles around my left arm and constricting its handles tightly, much like Devil's Snare from the Harry Potter universe. I'm not sure if this occurrence is a weed-induced hallucination or just ordinary dream weirdness. I look up and to my right at the dark-haired woman, who is sitting next to me. She looks back at me with an expression that communicates, “Yeah, this is what I was expecting would happen; how are you going to deal with it?”

I'm a little frightened by the shopping bag attacking me, but I'm still secure in the knowledge that this is a dream, so I'll be safe and sound when I wake up. I close my eyes and think to myself, Take me home.
[By which I mean, “Take me back to the real world.”]

I then woke up for real, just as I had desired to do. I was amazed to discover that a full 6 ½ hours had passed since I'd gone to sleep. When I recalled my reaction to the opportunity to smoke marijuana, I laughed derisively at myself and thought, Oh, boy. I need to sort out my priorities.

      -----------------------------------
      Side notes:
It's certainly fitting that I dreamed about smoking marijuana on the morning of 4/20. I first learned about 4/20 from peers in college, but on a conscious level, I had completely forgotten about it until I found the “Happy 4/20!” thread on DreamViews this morning. My subconscious sure remembered, though. :-)

I've never tried marijuana in real life, so I can't compare the reality to the dream. That might also be why it didn't really make me feel any different: my brain doesn't really know what it's supposed to feel like to be under its influence. I have drunk alcohol in real life, but I haven't done so in a dream yet. If I ever do, I expect it will probably feel just like it does in reality.

I noticed something today: When I write dream journal entries, I write like a scientist. I write down what I've observed and compare my new observations to previous ones. Sometimes I draw conclusions from all these observations. Often, I perform experiments within the dream and report on their results.

      WAKING LIFE DREAMING LUCID
BOLD IF IT FEELS PARTICULARLY SIGNIFICANT

*This is a very rough draft*

      Waves and Child

in the ocean, swimming around for a while
      a ways out from shore
looking below, at the sea floor
Then after a time, I head back toward shore

Jen’s (high school friend) old car in the ocean closer to shore
      I got in
      a large wave hit it
      Jen came
      she was upset

I went back to shore, the waves getting higher
      a child there too
      with me
      standing in the water together
      i feel protective
      of the child

      the child says they
(boy or girl?) see an octopus wrapping around my foot?
I get scared though I love octopi
think I see it a ways off under the water
I walk fearfully out of the water
      the waves getting larger
I'm wondering how large they’ll get

(Often in my dreams the tidal waves grow to become inescapably vast)

the child and I go to higher ground
      watch the waves
      getting higher
      splashing past where we’d been

      going to even higher ground
my dad is there with us
a beautiful, panoramic view of the ocean from where we are
we are atop maybe a 300 foot cliff
houses below closer to the beach
water rushing past them in a thin sheet, curving and splashing up the cliff far below us in a big sheet that splashes at its far reaches
my dad is concerned about the waves, scared and determined to do things he knows he has to do about the waves, to help other people
      I think he leaves us

by , 04-19-2011 at 02:37 PM (The book of mars)
Heather and I get a ride to the beach. Its really dark out. The water has come up to the side of the road, so we get out to look at this strange phenomenon. Heather and I get into the water and try to catch otters. If you catch one, you pay $90 dollars and it becomes your pet. There are other otters for $100 and then $120. While we try to catch them in the ocean, I look underwater for a second:

Beneath the water, we were not actually in an ocean. It was a bright room filled with water. There were windows looking out into a green country scene. The floor was hundreds of feet away. People were riding underwater chariots, being pulled by bears and apes who were held in rope all around their bodies, yet somehow they could still swim. I became frightened and looked back above water: we were still in the dark ocean at midnight.

I recorded all these with my iPod Touch by hooking up my earbuds, opening the voice recorder app and just clicking the record button whenever I woke up with a dream! It worked beautifully. Before, I was struggling with getting anything more than keywords down so this is an exciting breakthrough.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      04.16.2011

      Warning (Non-lucid)

Mom was about to read a fanfic. There was a column of something online, but later there were three. There were warnings on the link titles at the top of the columns, you had to hover to read them. It wouldn't show them though, it would just show the title of the link. So I went into the source code to find it but it was all in Japanese. I found the line of English, and it had a word with a colon plus the warnings. It said that the story had scat, though I remember thinking that it wasn't quite that. I tried to warn her but she got angry at me. It was like the dreams where we fight or she's crazy. I cried but she didn't care. Honestly I just wanted to help, I didn't mean anything by it. I think this somehow involved my sister, like mom was looking over this for her.

      Beach Contest (Non-lucid)

Me, my sister and my aunt were going to the beach for some kind of challenge that was going on. When we went we were worried that it wasn't actually going on then but what we saw when we got there reassured us. Even though I think it had something to do with there being more people, there actually wasn't that many there.

We're walking along the beach and there's feces on the ground. I think I point it out. My aunt starts running ahead and me and my sister run after. I try to avoid the feces but my sister doesn't at first. There's a dog running ahead of us, probably the one making the mess, and I get the feeling it's ours. It was a light brown
and reminds me of a mini Cerberus from Eyeshield 21. XD We kind of halfheartedly call out after it.

I know at some point we go to a picnic table. My aunt gets up on the bench to the right and starts dancing. I get up on the top and notice some type of canopy overhead. I decide to leave the spot for my sister, though I worry how she'll stand without hitting her head. I go to the left bench to dance.

There are peanut butter M&Ms, but I point out to my aunt how weirdly shaped they are. They were big and kind of mutated. I think there was another kind of candy and we were trading, or she reached over and ate a piece of mine.

At some point there were these guys, part of the contest and against us, I remember seeing them in the water. I was shy but my sister went up to talk to them. Apparently there was this gum stuff keeping us together and it came off. I was shocked and swam really fast after her, though I hesitated for a second because in RL I can't swim and the water there seemed deep. But I had no trouble in the dream. My aunt was somewhere behind us. I remember the gum stuff got stuck to somebody's leg and I didn't want to pull it off because it'd hurt.

I was able to see myself, at least my face, as if from the sky. My hair was shorter, maybe a bit over my shoulders. It was dry from having been wet, and had my blond streak in it. I think I looked younger.

    12. Poorly-recalled lucid from last night

by , 03-26-2011 at 06:14 AM (The Lab Notebook)
Awake, Non-lucid, Semi-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

I'm in dream!Las Vegas. At some point [I don't remember when or how], I realize that I'm dreaming. From the top of one of the lower, more square buildings, I admire the view of the city around me, with its many tall, themed buildings. “Beautiful day for it,” I remark. It is indeed: sunny and clear with a few puffy clouds.

Looking down and to my right, I can see a big, broad swimming pool. I say, “There's a pool, if you're into going swimming.” I'm not that much into it, myself.
[True in real life, too.] Nonetheless, I find myself swimming in the pool at some point, once again naked. [I don't know why dream!me likes skinny-dipping so much. I've only ever done it in reality when I was totally alone in our backyard spa.]

Later, it occurs to me, “Just let yourself drift... drift...” I start floating upwards off the ground, very slowly, not really flying, just sort of drifting away. [Clearly, the subconscious influence of the wording of the “Hypnosis for Sleep” audio recordings was at work here.]

I eventually end up in a grassy field where hundreds of golf balls are flying at me in a thick, fast, continuous onslaught. I firmly determine in my mind, “This is a dream. I'm going to let those golf balls go through me, instead of hitting me.” It works. I feel one of them bounce off my shoulder, but it doesn't hit nearly as hard as it would have in real life. I don't feel any of the others touch me at all, so they must be going through me. [Awesome! I finally convinced myself that I can become intangible to objects in the dream world! I'm one big step closer to walking through a wall without leaving a hole in it now!]
    13. 27/02/11 Swimming Competition

by , 02-28-2011 at 10:54 PM (My Wapped Dreamscape)
At thw moment I'm just concerned with remembering my dreams, so was quite happy to have had this one:

I was in a room (changing room?) taking off my clothes and socks, had been told at last minute I was being entered onto a swimming race. Next thing I remember was walking around the indoor public pool considering my options. I decided diving into the shallow end would not be a good idea as it was only a foot deep, but the deep end had a nice high diving board which could give me the edge. I went into the pool half way between the two ends and practiced swimming the width under water, I reasoned that it wouls add another edge to winning as the other competitors wouldn't know where I was. I then started practicing swimming the length under water when I woke up.

    14. At the swimming hole

by , 02-26-2011 at 04:35 PM (...from the dark corners of my mind...)
      DJ Log: February 26, 2011 – 9:30AM (USA Eastern)
      Text color legend: · NON-DREAM · NOTES · DREAM · LUCID ·

I am standing at the shore of a small lake with several people, some younger and some older. The morning sun is shining through the valley, illuminating a large section right in the middle of the lake. A heavy mist is lingering at the edges of the lake that are not yet receiving direct sunlight. The air is a bit cool, but the sun is quite warm. There are birds swooping down and picking up small bugs that are flying just above the water. At the opposite end of the lake, there is a another group of people swimming around.

I pick up a large bag full of pool floaties and begin to inflate them with an air compressor that's conveniently sitting near the edge of the water. (Note: Why this didn't seem strange enough to make me question reality, I will never know...) The kids all jump in first and grab the floaties, then float off to the middle of the lake. I continue to inflate and throw floaties to the kids. Some of them look like small air mattresses and some of them are giant rubber duckies. The last floatie had a large hole in it and won't hold air, so I drop it on the ground. I pick up a couple floating chairs, unfold them and set them on the water. Thinking that I am ready to get in the water, I walk over to a picnic table so I have somewhere dry to lay my clothes.

I pull my shirt off and look back at the water. I am a bit concerned that there are sharp rocks or other things in the water that I don't want to step on, so I decide to leave my shoes on. I already have my swimming shorts on under my pants, so I remove my belt and take my pants pants off, noticing that there is a two-way radio clipped on my pants. I walk toward the water and think for a second, “It's February! It's way too cold to swim! Wait a minute, how did I take my pants off with my shoes on?” I become lucid, then turn around and start walking back to the picnic table where I left my clothes.

I wake up and RC a couple times, thinking at least I was lucid for 5 seconds. I should have tried to stabilize, but then again it's 9:30AM and I usually never sleep this late.

    15. Saturday 26/02/11 - 60th Lucid

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Good morning! Got my beauty sleep last night, and even though I didn't try hardcore to recall or get lucid, I had a few dreams and a small lucid. Did some mantras before I fell asleep. I didn't have any goals in my mind, and I'm starting to see the importance of that. When I don't have anything to strive for in a lucid, I wake up.

      23.00: Sleep

10.30: Working at the beach MILD
I'm sitting on a bus on my way home. A drunk sits down next to me and starts talking about a beach. I recognise the name and realise he's talking about my work. "Yeah I worked on that beach, fixing it up" I say. Someone infront of me turns around and starts asking me questions. I answer them and they're all curious to what the next job is. I smile and is not sure if I can tell them. "Come on tell us!" another person says. I explain how I cleaned up two beaches, and all of a sudden, I'm there. I look around. Monica's with me and we're walking towards the water. It's warm and I notice how clean the bottom is. Further up where the water level is higher, I can see branches and all kinds of black mud on the bottom. Monica swims out and I start swimming under water. I can breathe.

I turn lucid. I swim up to Monica and try to convince her this is a dream. "Try to breathe under water" I tell her. "I can't!" "Yes you can, just pinch your nose and breathe, you'll see" I say. I start jumping around on the bottom. The gravity is alot weaker, like on the moon and I jump from branch to branch. I start wondering if Monica would remember this when she woke up, that would amazing. We fool around for a few more seconds before she suddenly stiffens. She jerks two times before she disappears. "Oh, she woke up" I think.

      10.30: Math nightmare
I'm in a newly constructed building with a friend of my sister. "Let's get up on the roof" I tell her. We start climbing stairs and after a while we reach the top. I see a dark room with the beginning of a stonebridge visible. I don't know why, but I feel like I have to go over it. I start walking on the bridge, but where the light ends, I don't dare to walk. I start crawling and hold my arms out to feel the edges. They're very close. "Shine a path for me with your flashlight" I tell the girl. "Okay" she replies but no light comes. I start to feel dizzy and it's very frightening.

I wake up in math class. "Fuck me!" I yell out loud. It takes a while for me to realise that my teacher had somehow induced that dream. I was the only one who had it done to me though. A girl infront of me has the same headphones on as I do, and she's playing some songs from "Pulsedriver" very loud. "Alright I've taken a look at your tests" our teacher tells us and starts handing them out. When she comes to me I point out that I answered wrong right away. "Yes, but other than that you got a full score" she tells me. I start looking at the test. I spot several errors, and retarded questions I have no idea I didn't even get. "How do you masturbate?" Wtf? An old Turkish man comes up to me, a teacher aswell or something, and he starts talking to me. I don't really get what he's saying. I realise that I've got more than half the answers wrong on the test. I feel crappy as hell.

      10.30: Fragments
*An old classmate of mine tells us how he achieved his dream. "I wanted to become a math scientist, and I succeeded". I can't believe he did it, he was an idiot.

*Monica comes home, and I want to have sex with her.

*I'm playing Warhammer Online and I'm in Undercity. I compare it to WoW, and it looks cooler. Some strange machine is on loop, and is cutting the heads off of characters.

*I'm watching old photos of my mom and my uncle. They are swimming and my grandpa and grandma is in floating chairs. They are all scowling for some reason.

      10.30: Wake up

      Amount of sleep: 11 hours

      Supplements: 2 x Omega-3, 200 ml applejuice

That's it! Nothing special, but atleast something compared to my crappy week. Only had fragments all week. Oh well!

      Keep on dreaming, HARE BRA!
