    1. Grocery Shopping

      by , 12-17-2015 at 04:13 AM
I just remembered part of a dream. I think it is from last night.

I was in a fancy grocery store carrying a basket around. It was crowded. There were several people pouring out free wine samples out of teapots. Everyone was so happy and drunk because they were getting wine samples from all the stations. There were so many different flavors of wine and I was thinking about buying some.
    2. Wine and Gift Shop

      by , 12-14-2015 at 09:14 PM
I went into a pretty blue building in some other town. There was a sign outside that said free bottle of wine and I think it was a promotional thing to get people to buy more wine from the wine shop. But when I went inside there was not really a free bottle of wine. The wine was free but I had to purchase my own container to put it in and some of the containers were $6 and I didn't buy a container for the free wine because the sign was deceiving and the containers were no good.

The shop had other things so I got two bars of soap. One bar of soap was bright yellow. When I went to the counter to purchase the soaps the woman asked if I wanted to hear about their other offers and I said yes even though I really didn't want to. Then she tried to sell me Christmas cards. She was trying really hard to sell me those Christmas cards. She even wrote messages in them for me and then held them up for me to read and asked me questions about how I liked them. Even though I had no intention of buying any Christmas cards, I let her show me at least three Christmas cards because she seemed so nice and I couldn't think of an equally nice way to say I didn't want to buy any Christmas cards so I was relieved when I woke up.
    3. Corn Woods

      by , 12-06-2015 at 05:00 PM
I thought about corn on the cob. Then I was running through a path in the woods.

That's it. I think I had other dreams that I don't remember. I drank a lot of wine last night and that doesn't help with dream recall.

      Backlog: 28 April Part II

I do a quick mental review, briefly think about tasks, toss around and then fall back to sleep.

About 60-75 mins (timed) worth of sleep, with about 3/4 of it lucid. Yet, I remember only fragments here and there mostly of some of my actions.

Earliest point. It seems I became lucid in the first couple of mins after a brief nrem period. No distinct bodily sensations upon falling asleep. I immediately recall a number of the tasks. The speck of dust totm comes to mind again and I allow myself to be lifted up in the air. I briefly think about the bird glide dream flying mode and that it actually doesn't involve active flying but using the wind as well (in the case of no flapping). The wind carries me over the streets of this unknown town. I then get down to street level and try to recall other tasks. The only thing that comes to mind is Earth bending where you have to create a mountain. I look ahead thinking about a mountain appearing and as I stare in the distance I begin to distinguish the features of a mountain and the view is quite clear too! Feeling very excited about this!

Near the same location as the mountain totm, on the streets, I wonder what to do and think that I should try the totys. At the moment, I don't remember almost any of them apart from the (God of Wine) drinking contest task. I spot a nearby bar just to the side so I enter ready to get drunk. I'm trying to pick what to drink, not remembering if the task required a particular alcohol or not. There is a large beer glass waiting invitingly on the counter. Yet, the DCs around look terrible, and this whole place smells like spirits in a rather unpleasant way. I don't like the atmosphere so I leave and walk around allowing the place to change. In the end, I opt for entering another place altogether like a bar again, but looking much better. At this point I am aware that am supposed to have drinking buddies or rather the other competitors Hercules and Dionysus.

A number of DCs join me and I think they are appropriate, wearing antique clothes, though Hercules isn't as muscular as I would like him to be. And the other DC (God of Wine) turns out to be Leonardo DiCaprio! I find this particularly amuzing and think that he fits the role of Dionysus. I then finally correctly decide that we will be drinking wine and grab a bottle from the rack near the wall. Slightly confused as to whether we are supposed to be sharing the same bottle or each should have his own, I pause for a minute. Then a couple more bottles materialize in the hands of the DCs. There is also a third DC. We raise bottles for a cheers and then the other DCs drink some of their wine. I start pouring the contents of the bottle in my mouth. This takes longer than expected for a dream, but other than that is extremely realistic in terms of sensation. It really feels as if I am drinking, and pouring the contents of an entire bottle, hence the length in drinking time. This even worries me that the dream might end from too much focus on only one thing, but the bottle is finally empty. The other DCs have no more desire to drink and I emerge as victor in the contest!

      End of memory. Dream transition.

In the next part of the dream I do not do almost anything actively, but rather try to spend as much time in the dream simply walking and looking around. The strategy is successful, but overwhelmed with the amount of information, I don't recall amost anything in particular detail. As I go from one place to the next I am convinced to have discovered the key to spending max time in the dream without interruption, that you can have an entire REM intact without the fade outs.

Actually, I do remember now that I feel the need not to look for too long at particular objects. My clarity was much better when I was moving and only paying minimal attention to specific objects, as compared to when I was paying more attention to them. I felt like I had no interest in them whatsoever either, I saw no point?

Fragment: I read a female name somewhere and I repeat it many times out loud because I want to remember it upon waking. I even make some DCs shout it. No idea what the name was.

At some point I find myself inside this place and recall another of the element bending tasks - to set something on fire. Me and another DC are in a building so I try to set one of the corridors on fire by summoning flames on the walls. I also get the other DC to do the same, but neither of us is fully successful - though we manage to get the corridor to be covered in orange colored fire like decorations.

I continue walking around, trying to maintain my attention, but notice this is becoming quite tiring. As I enter the next room, it is a dark room and everything is very blurry. I immediately begin to feel that this has an effect on my attention (especially after so much exercising it) and that am starting to lose the dream. I try to flip a light switch, but of course it does not work. At this point I try to will the lights to turn on, which lights up the room, but by increasing light coming from the outside. Nevertheless it has the effect of restoring the balance in the dream. I am rather mentally exhausted at this point to keep focusing on the dream and thinking what else to do. There are a few DCs in bed and after some contemplations, decide to enjoy some side activities, which are unsuccessful as the male DC is not very interested

I lose lucidity and then this becomes a non-ld scenario with me and the male DC with confusing explanations from his side. We continue exploring the building.
    5. The Nemean Lion

      Backlog

A lenghty ld though some parts are completely impossible to recall due chaining, continued sleep and overall dream idleness.

Me and grandma plus some other DC are headed up this building with really weird stairs. It turns out that there is some workshop taking place. My awareness goes up for a moment and I realize this a dream and that I am about to visit a sort self-defence workshop. This sounds pretty cool and I wonder if I would be able to learn something. I get inside but lose lucidity as we are instructed to sit there and watch funny presentations about other people.

My awareness finally goes up and stays that way. I waste a lot of time just walking and looking around, the surroundings change to this partially outdoors quite spacey area. Also, I make a little affirmation that will ld for as long as possible (not going to wake up). There is one very awesome thing that happens by itself. As I am looking around, it seems that it is raining, so while I am gently turning to the side and at that point either time or the water freezes in time /slows significantly. I am able to see each and every single raindrop suspended in the air in a sort of super slow (or suspended) motion and all of these raindrops are little round spheres of water that I can see in detail. It's so unexpected and amazing, I can't believe it. I think I need to take a second to look to the side and contemplate on what I have just seen. I make a big mental note about this.

After some more exploring, I become concerned about me actually having to perform some tasks rather than doing nothing (good point, especially since I recall very little from that part). I remember I wanted to do the Toty drinking contest with Hercules and Dionysus. My ideal representative DC for Hercules would be the Rock, I try to summon him here and there but he doesn't show up. I am disappointed and continue with my general summon idea - guys in ancient type of clothes or topless muscular guys. A number of DCs appear and there is an older man with some ragged clothes that could look like Dionysus after he has been having too much fun. With some more effort, a topless DC with reasonable appearance and muscle comes near Dionysus and it's time for the drinking contest to begin.

I go to the side of this house (in front of which we currently are) and get in the kitchen where there are a number of ancient jugs hopefully full of wine. I take quite a bit of time looking for the one that is large enough and also full, take a very ancient looking one and bring it to the guys. Dionysus drinks a bit of the liquid but he spits it out (I later think how my DCs are always trying to cheat), anyways I take the turn and drink a great deal of this weirdly tasting strong alcohol, even have some worries about dream swallowing waking me up. I manage to keep my concentration but as I pass the jug to Hercules, the dream thins out.

Not really sure if I chained, the scene reappeared etc. It was a similar overall construct to the previous place but the guys and the wine are gone. I give it another try, summoning some more topless muscular guys. A few such DCs appear though with not as much muscle as desired and I mentally try to add more muscle. As these guys are now approaching me, I have a moment of apprehension about them actually turning hostile and what am I going to do in such case, but I manage to calm myself down before this manifests, thinking these guys are fine etc. The scene is pretty difficult to organize this time and I give it up, also being distracted by bf in one of the nearby rooms of the area. I go back to look for him but he is not there anymore. My memory is pretty bad but at some point the dream interrupts again.

While I expect the dream to be over, I am surpised to find myself in the dream again. Somewhat similar overall long open area with transitioning parts. I contemplate whether I should wake myself as not to forget the details so far. But then I am still dreaming, so why wake up. I try to make a review of what has happened so far so I that I don't forget. Ok, what else could I do here, I try to recall some more tasks. The problem is I didn't consider more tasks for today and it is difficult to recall any from DV. Still I am convinced that if I think about it will be able to recall one more from the totys - the nemean lion. I recall the steps.

There is a window separating the area where I am and the outside and as I try to phase through it I end up peel lifting the glass which turns into other light material. I end up in a place like a back yard where I try to summon the lion. Some really cool music shortly plays at this point (and also different music in prior parts of the dream, really good quality), it really fits the mood. I have some doubts about my summon working (it feels like one of those dreams), but tell myself not to give up and try to think about a lion instead of the casual summon technique.

This works and soon a smaller than expected (large dog sized) male lion comes near. He is not too aggressive, but definitely wild. I grab him at the back of his neck (no lifting) and take him along with me, looking for the exibition place. I make mental notes about his size, how convenient the place is. We enter a large hall where it seems the contest will be taking place, though the participangs have not arrived yet. To save time, I summon a cat and take it along as well. It's a really stubborn cat so I have to constantly hold it too. I position the animals on small pillows? for the contestants that have self summoned here.

The referees are here, a DC referee woman takes a look at the cat and a few more cats that have appeared on nearby pillows. She then proceeds to do an examination of my lion, saying something about his paws and posture and in approval finally hands us the price - a roll of paper with the winner certificate.
I run out of attention, the dream thins out and I wake up.

Still suffering post-op problems (the hospital said at least 2 weeks of that and it's been 12 days so far) Nevertheless, I've managed to remember 2 dreams in the last 2 days.

The first was so numbingly uninteresting I won't bore you with the fine details...suffice to say I'm a student in a college/uni ?? (My grandson is) I don't seem to be a freshman but I mingle with a group of students (none of whom I apparently recognise.) The plot then revolves around me stereotypically trying to find a way into the main hall, where I'm convinced the rest are assembled. (DS Looking for something and/or lost.)

The up side of course is it would just need me to get back to reasonable awareness and there's Ed continually prompting me to recognise my main dream sign.

The other was a bit more interesting. I'm outdoors and there are 2 women in the distance...one with a pushchair. There's a profound air of menace about these two...evil maybe. (what's this Ed... "Mothers from Hell"?...and why???) I tell myself that I need to face this dream and I will banish my fears. (So I thought "dream"...am I inching towards LD again here?)

I move resolutely towards them, then loads of angels appear...they're clearly not real, just small metallic-looking figures and they're everywhere in the sky. Then the sky clears and the menace (and the demon moms) are no more. This is just not my style...If they'd been loads of Buddhist monks then maybe.

Admittedly I had a glasss of Faustino VII before I went to bed and the dream was at 01.30am (less than one hour later) I've said this before..a glass of wine does seem to pep up my early dreams so I must get down to Asda (it's on offer)

Talking of stimulants my son brought me the melatonin and, despite my still slightly delicate condition I risked one when I did a WBTB after the mum's dream. Result...nothing...zilch...bugger all...slept like a baby. When the time's right I'll try 2...and a Faustino chaser.

    7. Sharing meals, making wine, washing a nightmare

      by , 02-11-2015 at 10:25 PM
Somewhere in South Asia some centuries ago where I'm visibly a foreigner, I'm leaving the docks after making some arrangements for my departure. Thinking about how to dispose of the belongings that I don't want to bring with me, I've just offered to give some rare type of food to the man who's walking with me, a human who works for me. He's shocked - he completely refuses. It's important that he and I don't share meals, and apparently this is close enough to count. I apologize, but point out to him that we've shared more than that. He asks me not to talk about this in public.

Talking about differing customs as we walk, we get onto the subject of my own homeland. I describe it as very far to the north, very isolated from the rest of the world, not a place he's likely to have heard of. I'm being deliberately evasive, obscuring how long ago it was that I left, among other things. I have a mental image of a place that's always covered in snow, and a need to retreat.

Thinking of my people causes me to mentally tune in to two of them who are relatively nearby, a man and a woman who I think of as something like a brother and sister to me. Her, I keep in close contact with through letters on a regular basis. Mentally brushing against her now feels sort of like a friendly wave from a distance. Him, on the other hand - last I heard from him, he'd been doing his best to ignore my existence entirely. By accidentally tuning in to him now, I'm surprised to find he was already aware of my presence in this region and has secretly been keeping tabs on me. I'm amused, particularly since he's now pretending not to notice this mental contact.

I get lost in thought for a bit about connections and different eras, and the scene changes. I'm in Europe, speaking Spanish with a woman in the 1700s or so - I think of her as being in a sort of religious seclusion, though my speaking with her now isn't a problem. She's telling me how much she enjoyed the piece Dieter published recently about winemaking techniques, and I tell her I'll pass that along. The observer side of me considers whether or not this short scene is something to bother recording for when I wake up.

In my IRL home, a demon's joined me in the shower. She's in the form of a beautiful naked woman and she's talking to me like we're old friends, but the scene has the feel of a nightmare. She's talking about working together in a way that I'd probably be interested in discussing under other circumstances. But with that nightmare feel, I'm only thinking about avoiding being controlled by others.

I give her the fuck-off-out-of-my-dream variety of exorcism. This doesn't work; if anything, the feel of a nightmare intensifies with the sense of a contest of wills. She's still trying to convince me to come work with her.

Second try: I take a look at the demon's name. It begins and ends with A, so I cover up the middle portion, rewrite it as Athena, and chant an invocation, intending to remove the nightmare by transforming the demon into a goddess. Her features shift, but then shift back. We go back and forth a little bit, but eventually I give up on this method too. She's stopped trying to convince me to come work with her and is now just enjoying this contest for its own sake.

Being as we're in the shower, I take a look at the soap and think of cleansing/purification methods of exorcism. Worth a shot. I start washing her, starting at the top and working my way down. She's intrigued - she clearly doesn't consider this a threat, and the contact is pleasant and similar enough to sexual that she considers this a form of me giving in to her. I'm curious myself whether this scene will end up following her sexual expectations or my cleansing intention. When I kneel down before her, I kiss her just below her navel, and she makes it clear how she expects this to play out from there; but I just move on to washing her legs. When I've finished her second foot, kissing the top of it before putting it down, the sense of nightmare is completely gone. I'm able to cause the scene to transition, continuing with a series of IRL-based scenes.

      Alien fight
I’m watching the TV upstairs in the living room. There is not tv in real. Mum and grandma come and sit on the sofa. I don’t like the movie so I go away. Grandma wants the remote control so I give it to her and leave to hall. My mother calling on me: „You are bored, don’t you wish that this would by a dream?“ I’m pretty sure that this is no a dream, but I do RC anyway. It surprisingly works. I can’t breath through my nose closed. My mum still calling on me something but I ignore her and go jump through the wall. I decide to fly over the city. I can fly pretty fast and I just enjoying the feeling. I see my dog on the road underneath. I land there and pick him up. You are going to fly with me! He’s not much excited but I jump in the air. We fly and then I put him on the road and want to make him super speedy. He’s running pretty fast. I give my self super speed and try to follow him. Changing my running techniques with big leaps to short and fast. I try to stop the time for my dog and catch him, but time control doesn’t work. I see a river on the right. I remember I want to make some points for the competition. There are lots of stones and branches. I focus to pick up all of them. But I can handle like 30 of stuff max. Then I telekinesis big stone and throw it into river. I think that the stone will be useful so I pick him back and place it on the road. (don’t know why I did this, maybe I lose little bit of lucidity). There is dark tunnel on the right. It looks scary. I try to summon a monster over the corner. I’m curious what will appear. Large black alien appears from the movie Alien vs Predator. I feel fear but I tell to myself that this is only a dream and nothing can really hurts me. I run to Alien and give my self super strenght and invulnerability to be sure. I punch him in the face with my fist. His head is mellow rubber like. Suddenly there is lots more of them. I’m fighting and punching them into face. It’s really intesive. When I kill like 20 of them I feel exhausted. They still emerging. The next ones have new equipment such a helmed and something else which stops my power on them. There is like commentary from my footbal friends. I was so busy with fight that I lose almost all of my lucidity. Fighting is like sexing, it’s lucidity vacuum cleaner. When I see that I cant defeat them, I jump in the air and levitate so they can't reach me. They go into some building which I supposed to defent or what and I lose. I wake up and feeling depressed from the dream and happy that I manage to have lucid dream in the first or second REM stage in the night.

      Adventurous tavern
I can’t fall asleep over and hour of trying. I change bedroom. In the next room is warmer so it could be good. I try to fall asleep in a forest. There is a hole in the ground where I’m lying. I observe the forest. On the small hill, I see something strange. It has antlers. Suddenly it quickly run towards me. I’m scary and panicing. It is so fast that I can’t do nothing. It just jumps over my body and run away. It look like mountain brown skinny mountain goat. When danger is not eminent, I do RC with my nose. Uff, it’s a dream. I do some stabilization with trees and ground. I look around and the place look like some adventurous forest from The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, but real not game like. I’m happy that my mind can generate something beautiful like this, because my dreams are usually at places that exist in real and look the same, not fantasy like, so I’m thrilled. I see road to some forest city on the left. It looks like wooden mix of elvish, human and viking architecture. On the right is road to adventurous forest and ahead of me is a building. I remember that I want to drink wine and have challenge with god of wine. I go there and expect that it’s a tavern. I open the door. Second door. I open the second door. There is dark and quite in there. I swich the light on. (it’s electric it doesn’t fit in the fantasy tavern, but I’m happy that I can see something.) There is no god of wine, but in the corner there is a tall bowl made of clay. I expect wine. I pick it up and there is some red fluid. It looks spoiled. I tell myself that it’s only a dream so it doesn’t matter. I drink it. I taste bad and sourly. No effect on my mind. I’m exited that I completed atleast on task and I wake up.

    9. A Decent Chardonnay (DILD)

      by , 01-26-2015 at 04:09 PM
Ritual: Lately I haven't been dreaming much because I've been staying up too late (after 3am usually) playing computer games late at night. I've noticed that the later I go to bed, the less awareness I have in my dreams. Tonight for RL reasons I went to bed two hours earlier than usual, at 1am, and wondered if it might cause me to LD naturally. Sure enough, without any special intention or practices, I woke at 6am with the following...

DILD: I was moving through a grocery store, picking up some items and observing what else I might want to gather, until I reached a row of cash registers and knew I was in the last room. I had already picked up a bag of assorted stuffed animals from a whole bin of them. I recall making the same kind of obsessive comparisons I do in WL to decide which bag to pick. There were slight variations in all the stuffed animals so I was looking for the set I found the most appealing. I decided relatively quickly, the decisive factor being a stuffed bat I liked, and was carrying the bag with me.

I turned around and walked back through the store to pick up some remaining things I hadn't fully decided on the first time through. I was considering getting some food, and glanced at what was on offer in the seafood section. I think I ended up going back out the front door at this point and found myself at a bus stop. The bus came and I didn't think I wanted to leave yet because I wasn't finished in the store. I was planning take the next bus if it were going to come in an hour, but I know sometimes the schedule is slower on Sundays. I asked the ticket seller when the next bus would be, and she said, "1:40." This startled me because it was already around 3:30pm in the afternoon. The next bus couldn't come earlier than this one... did she mean the next one wouldn't be here until the middle of the night? I asked about this and she nodded. I decided I'd better scrap my plans and leave on this bus, because I didn't have enough I wanted to do here to occupy a whole evening. I yelled at the driver not to leave yet and quickly slipped the ticket-seller a twenty dollar bill, which I figured should be enough, though I didn't know the exact price. I grabbed the change without counting it and jumped on the bus. But then I remembered I would also need a ticket for the guy I was with... there had actually been no guy with me earlier in the store scene but now the scene shifted.

I was sitting next to a really hot guy and trying out a computer game he was showing me. This is how my mind accounted for the scene shift: I had been playing a game. Now I was distracted by our conversation. The guy was trying to figure out if he should go to—I think he was calling it "Burning Man," but I knew he meant a big festive parade through the city. After talking to him a few minutes I realized that I hadn't been paying attention to the game. I looked back at the screen and didn't recognize where my character was. Fortunately it was easy to restart from a save. But then my conversation with the guy took an even more distracting turn when I noticed how hot he was, felt an attraction that was apparently mutual, and started kissing him. After a few minutes of that I remembered the game I was playing and worried my character would have gotten killed, but I looked back at the screen and everything was fine... my character was actually going around doing things on his own.

"This game plays itself!" I commented in surprise. But I didn't want to miss any part of the story, so I restarted again, only this time I was disappointed to see that the game had apparently been creating its own saves too, and now even the save point was well past the spot where I had gotten distracted. I wondered if I should just stop playing for now and start over from the beginning later.

The scene shift at this point is vague, but the next thing I knew I was bodily in the game, back at the grocery store—though it looked different than the first one—this time with two companions, a guy and a girl. We were engaged in combat with the store employees, and everyone was throwing bottles. I didn't like this, so I called a halt to the bottle-throwing and my friends and I went outside. I was trying to explain to them what my objections were. "Too much broken glass," I complained. Even out here, the ground was littered with it, and on looking at it I felt a tiny sharp pang in the sole of my left foot. It seemed like I might really be feeling this with my physical body, so I continued my explanation: "The problem is, when there's too much broken glass, then you can feel it in the real world. Some kind of psycho-physical complex." The pang in my foot, which I could still feel, seemed like a great example: here I was in virtual reality, but stepping on broken glass made my real foot twinge. (Interestingly, I think a sensation in my physical foot was actually bleeding into, because I thought I could still feel it faintly when I woke up.)

Up to this point I was not lucid, rather I was convinced that I was bodily immersed in a computer game (I think my brain often explains dreaming this way to itself), but as the pang in my foot made me contemplate the connection between my VR body and my physical body, I realized that I was actually dreaming. I was about to walk off with my friends, but it occurred to me, "If I'm lucid, I should do something useful." I remembered the wine TOTM. I'd just been in a store where we were smashing bottles of wine, what a waste! And we left on such bad terms, they might not like me going back in there... not to mention all that broken glass... but I guess I'd better hazard it. I turned around and half-opened the door, but then I realized there might be an easier way.

I turned back to my friends. "Does anyone have any wine?" The girl immediately pulled a bottle from her backpack and gave it to me. Then I realized there might be another hitch. "Do you have an opener?" I asked her dubiously. She actually did! She pulled out a corkscrew and was waving it in the air at me, but I had already realized that I might be making things more complicated than necessary. I glanced at the bottle of wine and saw that although it was still sealed, the top covered in light blue foil, under the foil the cork seemed to be protruding three-quarters of the way out of the bottle. I tried to pull it out manually and was able to do so easily. There was still a small piece of cork in the neck of the bottle, but this shouldn't be a problem. My other friend was holding a butter knife, so I grabbed it from his hand without ceremony and used the handle (as the blade was smeared with butter) to push the cork inside. Lest it bob up and block the flow of the wine, I kept the knife handle in the neck to hold the cork to one side as I lifted the bottle toward my mouth to drink.

"You guys don't mind if I drink the whole bottle, do you? I'm supposed to for my task." Without waiting for a reply, I tilted my head back and chugged. I was finished in seconds. Fortunately, even though the bottle had been full, it didn't feel like I drank any more than a glassful. My immediate reaction was surprise—that it tasted so convincingly like real wine. "It's actually a decent chardonnay," I commented to the girl who had given me the bottle. I focused my attention on the taste that lingered in my mouth: very buttery, rich, even ambrosial, with a hint of something sour around the edges but not strong enough to be off-putting. As I thought about what words I should use to describe it, I felt myself waking up.

Banishing a spirit and beating the god of wine to a drink contest (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was called to check one home's paranormal activity because apparently, the people living there had a very hard time every day, hearing noises, feeling drained and very tired. As soon as I got into the house I could feel that the energy was pretty bad and pretty low. I also checked on the auras of the people living there and I could see they had several negative sentient beings to them.

I toured around the house sensing the energy and to get started to perform a spirit banishing ritual. Since the tenants were in a negative energetic shape, I felt that I had no other choice but to banish whatever spirits were lurking in there. I told them to follow me as I was cleansing the house but just do not touch me nor look directly at me, just to gaze and follow my steps behind me.

Everything was going fine ultil I entered into a room and sensed a very strong spirit who apparently was evil. He was at first showing like a being of light, as I saw white orbs around the room, but the energy emanated from these was awful.

I closed the door behind me asking them to stay outside and I was getting ready to fight them with a behavior like, "Bring it on."
(This is not done this way in waking life, but well, it was a non-lucid dream...) I started to channel white light directed to the different orbs and they would just vanish away, making the banishing ritual a success.

The people of the house was very happy and they invited me to some sort of dancing event. At first I was watching the event, but then, I found myself dancing break dance and other weird modalities. However, the music was soft and classical and there was some sort of trainer/guy who was getting pissed at me and he told me, "I am tired of this, I quit!"

I realized the nonsense of the whole dancing thing, so I realized I was in a dream. I did a couple reality checks to make sure I was indeed dreaming and to score points. I checked my hands, and I had a mising pinkie and my second reality check was a gravity test, which I floated for a few moments knowing that indeed I was in a dream.

I took off flying, to make my dream stable. And took a nice flight
(It was a nice smooth flying, so I will not count it as advance flying.)

I considered if doing the ToTM or since this month I have been so busy with work and still did not do them, to go ahead and do a ToTY instead. I remembered one of them, where I had to challenge Baco/Dionisius to a drinking contest and win it. So i decided to land and pretend the god of wine was going to be there. As I was landing, I saw a table similar to alice in wonderland:

And there was some guy with grapes on his head and he was huge. I told him if he was the god of wine. Upon saying yes, I told him to do a drinking contest. I saw a lot of different bottles of wine and different liquors. I recalled that I was going to do the basic ToTM as well, while I was at it. I also recalled someone did an anyone dare to drink a whole bottle of vodka down.

I grabbed a bottle of wine and chucked it in one blow. It tasted similar to raspberry juice, but I felt nothing really going on. The same I did with the bottle of vodka, and this one tasted like water, but if like the water was extremely cold, almost frozen. I felt heat in my throat but nothing apparently seemed to happen here.

The god of wine did not seem to be very thrilled with this, so I just kept drinking, one bottle after another. My dream stomach started to bother me for some reason, but the dream imaginary was the same (maybe a little blurry, but I blame dream quality to it.) Suddenly, the god of wine turned into an old teacher a had years ago, who I a vodka-only drinking contest. I saw how he was throwing a bottle of vodka away saying, "I can't, I am going to puke." I asked him if he was still the god of wine, to make sure, he said yes and that he felt pretty bad, that he was done.

I was happy I got a few things done in this dream. I started to focus on more personal dares but I lost the dream and woke up abruptly.

    11. Powder in Wine

      by , 01-19-2015 at 07:19 AM
Morning of January 19, 2015. Monday.

This is another typical King Street boarding house dream, with nothing relevant to my character or present life. It is a dream I could have had thirty years ago and not known the difference in waking up then or now. Still, I document everything for long-term study (as always, since early childhood) regardless of the type that seems like residual “what if” dregs from the 1980s.

I make my way to King Street. A male I knew at that time, Don K, is walking with me at one point, carrying a couple full bottles of wine. We end up going into the house through the main front entrance and the landlord and landlady (though started by the landlord), both deceased in reality, go into a bizarre rhythmic “mantra” (with the accented phrasing in the opposite areas as would otherwise seem normal). It seems like some sort of insult to anyone that goes into their house, including a relevance to their desire to be alone. The “song” is one of the oddest things I have heard in a long time.

Don and I end up in the pinhead’s (Leonard S) old room at the southern end of the house. The room is mostly empty. We then drink from different wine bottles. I notice that my bottle, in addition to containing red wine, is also thick with dry powder that does not fully blend with the wine and is apparently crushed sleeping pills. Still, I drink parts of it in small amounts, not really wanting the full effect of either. In reality, I had never taken any form of medication of this kind and rarely ever drank. I attempt to stir it but there is so much powder, the fluid nature of the wine is minimal and nearly too viscous to flow naturally from the bottle. I take about five drinks over time. We are seemingly going to go to Third Street and perhaps meet with others but my dream fades.

What is interesting is that in the past, I was often within dreams of the future, including those involving the “mystery girl”. Now that I actually “live the dream” so to speak, I often mentally travel to mundane facets of the past (with alternate histories and even no-longer necessary “rehearsals”), almost as if it is some sort of “balancing” function to remind me of the human aspects and encounters of my otherwise legend-like path.

Don was actually the one to inform me of the King Street house availability (while we both worked at the same factory), which was my first unshared apartment in real life at seventeen. It is interesting in that Don was also the worst possible reference I could have had, yet once the owners learned that I was not at all like Don, they let me rent the apartment. Ironically, he was evicted from his apartment shortly after I moved into mine, for drunkenness and leaving broken glass on the lawn.

    12. Drunk dream

      by , 01-18-2015 at 11:12 AM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
I was in my home. Brother came back from work in Switzerland, and made a party. We were drinking vodka and wine. Lots of them. There were many bottles spread across the whole house. Piles of bottles, each of them different. We were drinking and talking. When the last bottle was empty, we took a taxi cab to the local shop. They told the driver that we need to buy more vodka. I yelled And what about me!?? Driver replied They haven't forgot about you. and handed me a bottle of wine. We walked down the street from the shop, and went to my house by foot, to drink much more. My abilities to walk and see weren't impaired, but I felt stronger and stronger urge to drink.

*I was completely drunk when I came back from my friends 18th birthday. It was a special occasion, so I broke my rules to never drink too much. That's the effect.*
    13. Plantation, wine, local troubles

      by , 01-16-2015 at 04:58 PM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
      Plantation in the garden

I went out of my home to the nearby fields. It was cloudy, dark afternoon. With my parents we made a plantation of exotic plants. There were six furrows surrounded by ditches with water. We had many random plants, like coffe, tea or oranges growing there. The most memorable were small trees that gave red-brown, big fruits similar to peaches. It was time to harvest the hard earned fruit. I was watching the workers so they could not take anything. Then I talked with my father to ask about the soil preparation method for the more requiring plants. He told me that remains of what was harvested must be burned on the fields, and that we lost a few workers to this technique, as in some places the fire was still raging under the shell made of ash. This created some kind of land mines, burning anything that would walk on them and break the shell composed of ash.

      Drinking some wine

I was sitting in my kitchen. I took the bottle of wine, and I poured some of alcohol into the glass. Before I could drink it, the dream ended.

*Unintentionally incubated this non-lucid when I was thinking that it would be good to make ToTM with chugging whole bottle of wine, right before falling asleep.*

      Troubles with energy

I saw some kind of a map. There were roads and icons representing lightnings moving on them. They all ended up in one place, leading to troubles with energy in the local area.
    14. Wine Into Water (DILD)

      by , 01-14-2015 at 08:27 PM
Slept from around midnight to 2:45am then got up for several hours. Returned to bed at 6:15am, after meditating a few minutes and taking some supplements (choline, Alpha-GPC, L-theanine, vitamin B complex, piracetam). Did some casual SSILD while falling asleep. Woke at 6:45am with dream.

I was in a room with dark walls, a sort of "black box" theatre, and about two-thirds of the room was full of tangled billows of blue cloth up to knee-level. Around eight people were positioned at various points in the cloth, flailing against it as though they were swimming (or drowning) in water. I knew it was a rehearsal for a play, and I felt a strong desire to join them but was restrained by a sense of propriety since I was not related to the production. I sat in a chair and reflected on how much I've always been attracted to the idea of acting even though I apparently have no talent for it.

Slowly and naturally it dawned on me that I was dreaming. The awareness brought with it a change of scene, perhaps a half-waking: I was back in my bed, but still in dream. I began to focus on animating my dream body as though it were a WILD, thrashing around in the tangled covers (not unlike how the actors had been flailing in the water-like whorls of cloth). I noted how my visual field was very chaotic, almost back to the fluctuating hypnagogic state, but the tactile field felt more stable, so I ignored the visual clutter and got out of bed. I don't need to see well to navigate my own house, whether in WL or a dream.

I wondered what to do and quickly decided to try to knock off the wine TOTM, which seemed like an easy one. So I walked swiftly to the kitchen pantry where I keep a lot of wine and reached for one at random. It was a rosé in a clear glass bottle. The level was very low, well down the shoulder, but since the cork was intact I figured it should count as a "full bottle" as specified in the TOTM. At first the bottle was the shape and size of a typical wine bottle, the more streamlined profile you usually see with burgundies, but as I set it down on the kitchen counter to get a better look, it transformed in front of my eyes to the larger, plumper form of a two-liter plastic soda bottle.

I was still determined to open it, so I picked it up and carried it over to where the corkscrew should be. It occurred to me that I should make a more detailed observation of the bottle first, since it was covered in writing printed directly on the glass. The writing was in white script of various fonts and sizes, but the white lettering against the clear glass was hard to read, especially with the level of the wine so low. The fonts were also elaborate and hard to make out. I held it up at an angle to get the best view and looked carefully. I could make out that the biggest word was "Mersault," which would make sense since (as I suspected and google confirms) this is an actual appellation in Burgundy. The next largest set of letters spelled "Farb," which reminded me of the German word for "color." I wondered if this had to do with the color of the wine, and was startled to observe that the wine was now colorless and looked exactly like water. Moreover, the bottle was starting to remind me of a water bottle. Oh dear, had I accidentally turned my wine into water? I'd better grab a different bottle! I was walking back to the pantry when I woke up.

There was actually a lot of day residue in this LD. Last night I ate out and had an elaborate meal with wine pairings: they included a rosé and a wine from a bottle that was partly empty but whose cork remained intact because the wine had been extracted with a needle and replaced with argon. Both of these details manifested directly in the dream, although I didn't recognize them as day residue until after I woke up. I just double-checked the menu and there was no Mersault, however, nor can I recall when I last had it, so I'm not sure where that came from.

    15. Deathmatch, family meeting, sightseeing in Greece

      by , 01-04-2015 at 12:31 PM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
      Deathmatch - revolutionary TV show

Local television created a new show called Deathmatch. They picked up random people, used chemical substance turning human in a mindless killing machine, and dropped them in their arena. It was made as a farmland at the late evening. I was one of the picked up people. Everyone i saw was deformed, and looked like monster. I was fighting, killing everyone trying to stop me. When I was alone with a granny and her dog, the countdown timer started. I quickly ran to her, and killed her and her dog. Then the show was over. I was standing in the middle of arena, surrounded by piles of bodies and dancing a winner dance.

      Family meeting

I was in my aunts home. We were sitting near the table and talking.

A trip to the Greece - DILD

With my siblings and friend we drove to Greece, to the family I was guest once in the past. We were sightseeing in the big city. The streets were crowded, but the was no gridlock on the road. We were crossing the streets in dangerous places, often jumping in front of cars, and sat on the bench. We then decided to go to the church, where famous greek singer performs. We entered the church. It was built in baroque style and rich in ornament. There was a coffin of a hero there. We sat on one of the benches. They were hanging on the chains, so you could swung on them. After a while, the singer appeared on the balcony, high, close to the roof. She was a beautiful, slim and tall woman. She was brunette, with full red lips. She was wearing a black evening gown. Her voice was as beautiful as her appearance. I couldn't control the bench, which swung like crazy. When the performance ended, we wanted to go to the shop, but we were attacked by zombies. I was trying to beat them with my fists, but they were too strong. Luckily someone helped us. We entered the shop and wanted to buy some snacks, but there was a zombie woman, who after time became more and more normal, tough aggression stayed. I was escaping from her, and thrown random objects at her. She was still chasing me. While running near the shelves with wine, I grabbed one bottle and thrown it at her. She catched it, and ran after me. I finally come closer to her, and told her that it's best to stop, chosen a snack and went to pay. The cashier told me that it cost 11 euros. I could buy that, but 11 euros for a stupid snack?! I went back to the shelves with snacks, and took another one. I payed 3 euros, and opened it. It was a pack of white chocolate balls, but inside there were miniature tennis balls.
I became lucid, and told myself It's a dream, and I could've taken something better. I thought to myself that there was a wine stand nearby, ideal occasion for basic TOTM!
Suddenly I heard alarm clock and immediately woke up.
