    1. Apocalyptic Camp

      by , 06-18-2015 at 09:17 PM
      First entry!

I was in a city, but no one was there, just the skyscrapers and cars. I looked up to see the clear, bright blue sky, and then I looked down again to see that the scene has changed. I was in a giant grassy field, with a dark, purple ish overcast sky. It was a little windy, too. There are a lot of teenagers dressed in suits and dresses, almost like they were all going out to prom. There are these small camping huts in which people would sleep in. I felt uneasy around here. I walked around a bit, and funny enough, I saw my two best friends, (Hannah and Maria).
"Oh my god! We were looking all over for you! We finally found you!" Hannah says excitedly.
"Um...where am I, exactly?" I questioned the both of them, looking around the (what my brain was telling me) camp.
"Uh...camp..doh? Anyways...why aren't you dressed up? It's date night! I mean, unless you don't have a date...but that's another story." Maria says to me.
"I didn't know...um.." Then they both take one of my arms and pull me towards a giant tree, bigger than the Empire State Building. It was a large, old oak tree, a beautiful tree. For some reason, it reminded me of a lion. ( Maybe because it was outstanding, literally, and it was so beautiful) There were little circle windows lit with a yellow glow all around the giant tree trunk. There was a massive door at the bottom of the trunk. All around the trunk were mirrors in which the dressed up people were looking at themselves, most of which had a sad or disappointing look on their face.
"Okay, Maria, we can't wait to tell her any longer. Just let me tell her." Hannah looked at Maria, whispering, yet I could still hear her.
"I can hear you, you know." I said, still staring at the beautiful giant tree, which just happened to be standing in the middle of a giant grassy field.
"Okay, listen, this camp is really a trap. I mean, the date night is just a distraction. All of these people are going to turn into slaves if someone doesn't do something about it." Hannah whispers to me. She looks around, eyeing the camp counselors.
"But this is so random...why date night? Why a trap? What's going on?" I had a million questions to ask, even my real brain was confused of why I was having this dream.
"See that mountain?" Maria points behind me, and I turn around. Through the misty grassy field, I spot a big purple mountain, with a myriad of tiny caves in it. There were dark ominous clouds over it, too.
      I nod my head yes.
"It holds the answers to every question. The whole reason why we were forced in this camp was because there is a golden medallion at the top of that mountain, in one of the caves. Some rumors say that medallion is like a magic lamp, if you hold it, it can grant wishes. But if we let those counselors get the medallion before we do, they will all make us slaves. Why counselors you ask? I have no freaking idea. Just go with it." Maria says. In my mind I was wondering, how the heck do you know all of this, and the other kids don't?
"I overheard the counselors. Now let's go get that medallion!" Maria says in a hushed voice.
So, I just went with it. We ran away from the strange camp. Ran as fast as we could, but sneakily, so no one will notice. The knee-deep grass tickling out ankles along the long way. Gosh, this meadow was huge. Finally, somehow we made it to the bottom of the mountain. I heard the wind kicking up. I looked up to notice that the sky has turned a dark purple. Lightning flashed through the clouds.
"We need to find a cave. Quickly." Hannah turns to see the counselors running after us, hundreds of them, holding torches and guns. We sneak away through a small opening in the mountain. Suddenly the atmosphere changed-it was quiet. too quiet.
"Where the lever..." Maria feels around the cold, dark stone and finds a small hidden lever. She pulls it forwards, and suddenly a row of torches on the caev walls light on fire, illuminating the shadowed path. I look up to see a camera, looking right back at me. I jump up to the cave ceiling and rip it out of the stone, smashing it with every ounce of strength that I had.
"Wow." Maria laughed. "Okay let's keep moving.''
The scene changes to us, higher up in the mountain, climbing a large winding stone staircase that was built into the mountain. I was holding a lit torch as we crept along.
"Wait, stop. I hear something," Hannah, who was in front of the both of us, ceased in her path. I look at a corner to see a shadow figure pass by the wall.
      "Cautious." Hannah adds.
We get to the last step, surprisingly not out of breath. "We made it!" I cheered. As if on cue, the doorway that led to the staircase closed, like a portcullis. We were trapped inside a little cave room.
"Hello." An eerie voice rang around me. I turned around to see a little girl, one that you would see in those cheesy horror movies. She tilted her head like a dog, her long brown hair draping over her shallow face. "Nice seeing you here." Her voice hushed and creepy. Chills ran down my spine. The girl take one step closer to me and looks up at me. I couldn't see her face because it was always blocked by her hair. "Looking for this?" She held up a large, golden medallion. It shined in the flickering light of the torches fire. It was so shiny, I could see a flash of my own reflection. I hear one of my friend quietly gasp behind me. "You can take it." I felt her smile behind her glossy hair. Something whispered in my dream mind, "it's all yours".
"Where did you get that?" My voice wavering.
"Not important. Take it," she took another step closer. Now we were face to face. She looked as if she was getting taller and taller. In fact, she was.
"Maria.....Hannah..." I said, walking backwards. The "little" girl's hair fell back, revealing her face. It wasn't a face. It wasn't really anything at all. In fact...it was nothing. No skin, no eyes, no nothing. Nothing but a literal black void.
"How can you talk.." I whispered. The girl tilted her head the other way and walked closer to me.
"I just can." She was still holding the medallion. "Now." She paused. "Take it NOW!" She screamed into my ears, jumping in my face. She chucks the medallion at me, which, surprisingly hurt a lot. Then she grabs my t-shirt and pushes me to the floor, the void of nothingness, staring into me. I drop my torch, which burns out, making the cave completely pitch black. Maria quickly grabs it and magically lights it again. I looked around to see the girl wasn't there anymore. But my t-shirt was ripped, where her nails tore into it.
"Oh my god, we need to get out of here. Take that medallion and wish us out!"Hannah shouts at me.
"Okay! Okay!"I grab the medallion, which sends a strange sensation through my veins.
"Wait!" I hear, yet again, another voice. This time, it sounded more humanly and comforting. I turn around and see a guy, about my age. He looks quite attractive. But Maria and Hannah disappeared. He walks up to me, face to face. I could practically hear my heart throbbing.
      "Um...how..wait...what?" I nervously laughed.
"We need to get out of here. Hey, let me take that medallion. You shouldn't be holding that." He grabs my arm, the one in which I was holding the medallion.
"No, stop. I have no idea who the heck you are. And where did my friends go? Where am I? Why-" then all of the sudden he pushes me against the cave wall and looks deeply into my eyes.
"And this is taking me...where...exactly?" I ask, my breathing shallow. He looks down at my hand and grabs the medallion.
"Hey, give that back! What's wrong with you?!" I yell at him. He holds it up, so I can't reach it.
"This is for your own good, miss." He takes the strange shining medallion and throws is at the rough, cold, stone ground. It shatters. It shatters into a hundred pieces, the sound echoing throughout the cave. He looks back at me, and grins, giving me mixed emotions. He then starts shrinking, morphing into something......the girl.
      "Wait...how.." I couldn't manage to speak anymore.
"Hello again." The girl/man....whatever it was...says to me. It looks down at the shattered pieces, then back at me.
"Oops." It says, in an innocent little girl's voice.
"You...little son of a.." I shove the strange thing to the ground, and punch it in the arm.
"That's not helping, Corina. ( my real name )" The thing says in my dream mind.
"How do you know my name?" I stop and look down at it's blank, dark face/void.
"Deceptions are after you, Corina. Distractions won't help the problem. Don't let them get to you." It manages to pick up a shard of the golden medallion (even through I pinned it to the ground) and flashes in my face. I see the camp that I was just at shine into the gold. The thing takes another shard of gold and flashes it in my face. This time, the strange man appeared.
"Sometimes the unknown is not bad." The thing cups it's pale, freezing hands over my eyes. I somehow "open" my eyes again and look around my surroundings. I was in the city again, this time, with Maria and Hannah, and there were other people around us too.

    2. Rising Thunder DA + (2)DILDS

by , 06-18-2015 at 08:08 PM (Inner World حلم Gamma Waves)
My brother and I appeared inside the garage, where we enter a small door near the left end of the wall. Once we were fully inside we found ourselves in a different place. It look like an underground battle arena, we were both in 3rd person point of view, watching a child fend himself from the traps hidden under the ground. We laugh considering how young he was and I started trying some of the moves he perform to evade a few situations. Soon I became 1st person point of view.

Once this happen my brother and I both became lucid and found our opponent. He was a huge human male wearing modern clothes with a baseball cap. The only weapon my brother and I have was a cylinder shape silver liquid spray can. The towering human charge toward us, which we began using the spray can that cause the enemy to become sticky and unable to move. However this was not enough to defeat him as he soon broke free from it and quickly lunges at me with his right arm.

Feeling confident I decided to block his attack, which led us going back and forth with hand to hand combat. After a few more punches to the face from one another. I lost my lucidity and soon after the dream scene had change. I found myself in the living room , the use to be large human was still there and threw his pants on me. I told him you should be more polite and continue to walk off. I then enter an unknown hallway that led me to my family. My father, mother, and brother were eating at the table.

The sunshine pierce through the house making it very bright. All of them greeted me when I sat down with them. My father began talking to me but as soon as he did, I was having trouble hearing him. He then ends his speech by saying " that means I'll be working 6 plus 4 in total 10 hours each day " I stand up and ask does that mean I have a job? My father loses eye contact with me and remain silent. I left the table and retrace my steps to the unfamiliar hallway that surprisingly led me back to the living room.

Once I've made it back I sat down and observe distant family relatives celebrating for their return. I watch them in till my brother showed up and sat next to me. I turn around to face him, I ask if he remember the dream we had today? He doesn't look at me and stares at his plate while using his fork to play with the food. He then tells me he wish he didn't remember it. I made a smirk telling him it was fun. That is when my eyes catch my father and I notice the other people I didn't know well leaving.

Some of the guest didn't clean up so I offered to help out. The items I pick up were, some random green liquid , a dark box I didn't pay much attention to and a pen with a red pencil. I gave all of the items to my father except for the red pencil. After that the sunshine had faded, which soon left the house to be dim. I was still sitting at the living room reading a book and notice my brother sitting at the far right from where I was. Moments later our cousin approach us. I continue reading the book but was interrupted once she threw a napkin hurled up in to a ball at the page I was reading.

I then got up and open the napkin to begin saying let see what my cousin has said to me. The words were short and didn't seem to be something I could understand. It stated "Dak-Shur" I came back to the table to see her now sitting and tell her and my brother a funny joke. We laugh for awhile, my cousin stated that this seems like the first time seeing me and proceeded to ask my various questions. If I was goth or in to certain dark books, I replied by saying I wasn't but didn't mind any content like that.

She then kicks the chair I am in and for sometime the dream scene change. I must had been in third person again as I see two bobble headed man, one was arresting the other that had been dress in a police uniform. They argue for quite sometime before I found myself back in the living room sitting in the same spot. I assume I must have fallen asleep, and look at the window to see it was still night. I notice my brother was no longer at the living room table. The conclusion that he went back in to the underground dreamworld we were in the morning. I jolted to the garage and turn on the lights.

I made sure to look around so I wasn't followed. I then open up the small door inside at the end of the garage wall. I dismantle one of the wall plugin. Soon after the front door to the garage began to creek open. I could see the face of my cousin looking at me. I shut the door without any warning and continue back to the dismantle plugin. I then tried to force my consciousness to transmit through the plugin to enter the dreamworld. However it did not work, I close the garage door and enter back in the living room.

My cousin kept giving me strange looks, wondering what I was hiding from her. To evade her stare attacks, I enter inside the restroom in the living room. Pretending I needed to use it. That's when the ground beneath my feet started shaking violently. I could hear bombs exploding outside. I make an attempt to turn on the lights but it wasn't working. I fled the restroom and my father room. I tried turning on the lights there, it didn't work the first time , the second time the lights came on in a different angle than it usually would.

This is a common sign in my dreams I thought. So I did the nose pinch RC twice and confirm I am dreaming. I went in to the kitchen and phase through the back door. While I am doing this I decided to say I am dreaming. I'm outside now, it looks like night still, the sky has skies above one another. The closest sky was cloudy while at the farthest sky had many visible lighting strikes resembling Jupiter thunderstorms. I make a decision about walking on the road or going up hill. I chose the hill as I check out the enticing sounds of the lighting.

I was then approach by a tekken character and decided to greet each other. But soon after we both got tackle down to the ground by a DC. This makes me have an FA. Lucidity Time: 2 minutes
    3. Themes of Horror and Annoyance

by , 06-18-2015 at 03:02 PM (Lucid Time!)
Some long elaborite dream about a football game taking place on campus. My extended family was there and my grandparents were exceptionally annoying in-dream. I also recall us having some problem with parking our cars.

I had to sneak away and help these people hide a dead body before the police found it.

I feel as though I have had this dream at least twice before today, but only recalled it this morning. The setup is always exactly the same:

I am a covert spy/assassin working for some sort of government agency. High tech gear, intense training, and an assistant that I can communicate with to help me hack doors and all that. My mission is to find and kill someone inside this lodge that appears to be in the middle of the desert. I only have a limited amount of time as my assistant is trying to convince the government not to drop an anti-mutant bomb to stop something bad from happening. This time I run out of time almost as soon as the mission starts.

"Get out of there, you're out of time!"

I haven't had a chance to even walk inside to investigate the lodge. A nuclear blast goes off in the distance and a wave of fire engulfs me and the lodge building. I am left completely unfazed but the lodge is instantly ignited. I hear people screaming as they are burned alive. I then see the slenderman standing in front of the flames in the main door of the building. For some reason, he has a really large round head.
This is what causes me to become lucid, because I know I have seen this scenario before.

I am a covert assassin so I pull my pistol off my belt and fire at him. No effect. Somehow, he gets to be right in front of me. I reach for my combat knife but it is already gone. There is a metal pole that was blasted out of the lodge laying on the ground next to me. I grab it and stab him in the chest up through the top of the head. His flesh sort of feels like putty. He does sort of reel back and go "urff" as if this is hurting him, but he grabs me in his tentacles and starts to pull me apart.

Before the dream ends, I try to say "Stop, I am not afraid of you!" but nothing audible is heard and the dream ends anyway.

By no means scared, but somewhat annoyed that I could not speak. I guess the scenario is so overblown and trying so hard to be scary that it ends up coming off as rather silly.

I considered that it could be a scenario that I am subconsciously afraid of but not aware that I am afraid of. (A short story I was working on with S explored this exact concept yesterday.) As such, I have had my fill of that theme and do not need a dream to further explore it.

    4. Lucid # 14: Float flying at prior home

      by , 06-18-2015 at 12:05 PM
Gee...not bad. June 10th (#13) and now again on June 18! In the pre-lucid part of the dream, I walked up the broad driveway (2 1/2 cars wide) of our our first house after marriage. There was a coffee cup (same as we had then and still use today) on the concrete right at the threshold of the driveway and the garage proper. I walked past it to the rear of the garage to the entrance door of our den and living room. I entered, and looked around. There was no furniture, as if we had just moved out that very day. I then realized "Wait a minute...I don't live here! This is our OLD house! I must be dreaming!" The scene immediately seemed to increase in detail 10 fold, or else it was just because I now knew I was dreaming that I started paying attention.

The first thing I did was MY style "reality check." I made a small jump into the air - sure enough - I floated right up and slooooowly descended. I love the special physics of lucid dreams! Anyway, I looked around, marveling at all the detail, took in the lawn of my across the street neighbor, what little blue sky and sunlight that I could see from the garage. It was obviously summer.

Then I spied a woman in the across-the-street garage. She was dressed in a deep blue summer smock with pink and white accents. She saw me and walked down her driveway, crossed the street and entered my garage. She was wearing large-ish medium dark sunglasses made of plastic (my wife has a pair very much like them) which prevented me from seeing her eyes. She looked to be about 40 years old. Decent body. I float-flew past her and exhaled more or less right in her face to see if she knew I was there, or if I was invisible. She knew I was there. I tried to "will her" to expose her breasts, but she was resistant to my efforts. It seems I might have pissed her off a bit when I breathed in her face, so now she was uncooperative. I struggled to exert my will over her to get her to expose her tits, and in so doing, ended up waking up.

Damn! Oh well... maybe next time.

    5. The River of Cold Blue Slush

      by , 06-18-2015 at 04:15 AM
I open the back door to my house and walk outside into the cool summer air. The world is green, lush and fresh and patches of sun filters through the trees dancing spots on the grass. I pass for a moment to enjoy life. It isn't like I ever have any dreams as fresh as my own back yard. I think "I wish my dreams would be like this." Suddenly.. "Wait.... Is this a dream?" Now lucid I gaze at the river in my back yard which is clear blue. Something seems off about it. I blink (dishonored reference) over to the river and take note that the river is actually, blue shlushie. "What do I do now?" I think, but as I try to control my movements the dream seems to move away from me and becomes blurry and small. Then it ends.

    6. Me-House

      by , 06-18-2015 at 02:21 AM (The Kestrel's Dreams)
      June 15, 2015

I was with a group of my classmates, except that there were some other people there, too. One of them was a girl who was a year below me in high school, who is doing her undergrad in education at the same university as me. She was telling me how she was going to come back to do the same master's program I'm doing when she finished her undergrad studies. another of the people in the group was a guy from my high school.

We were sitting, eating our lunch near a large building with lots of big windows. There were apparently a lot of illegal Asian students at the university lately, and the campus police were really cracking down on them. We could see through the huge windows that a young woman was running from a group of like five cops. She was carrying her books and had classes, she looked like a normal college student but much more modest. She eventually ran out of the building and past us. I was a little worried because one of the people in my group was Asian and I was worried about racial profiling. Three of the cops continued chasing the young woman, but two of them stopped and inspected our group. One stood back as the other confronted me first. He asked my name and major, I answered. He moved on to the friend from highschool, and asked him the same questions. But he was nervous and stammered, and the cop got confrontational and hostile, got up in his face, and then forcefully kissed him violently. I punched the cop in the jaw and yelled at him, telling him I was filing charges and that I had been recording the whole thing. The cop skunked off.

Our group was moving on, to a secret garden type place, where we were going to meet Kali, who was apparently our field instructor or something. He told us we had to go to Germany for a final test, and that the university was paying for our tickets. I was so excited to be going back to Germany! We all packed our things, and somehow managed to get in the same car heading for a place we were going to stay in tonight, before the flight. In the car, I was looking out the window. The scenery couldn't decide what it wanted to be, and I thought this was funny... I had the inkling I was dreaming, so I checked my hands... I WAS dreaming!

I was so happy to be lucid again after such a long dry spell, that for a while I just let the dream play out. We were still in the car, though, and it was still driving. I remembered the TOTM to find a house that represented yourself, and so I told myself that the car would stop in front of the building that was ME. Sure enough, the car did stop very soon after that. I phased through the door and looked. The building in front of us was a large-ish Greek looking place. It was really pretty, and Kali stopped to take pictures of all of us in different poses in front of the building. I opened the door to see what the inside was like. It was fascinating! It was all Winchester-y, with rooms in odd places. I could see most of the rooms at once, though, because it was all very open. Most of the things in the rooms were deep reds, dark blues/browns, whites and splashes of blinding bright orange. Zukin was sitting on a bench in the entry room, and stood up when she saw me. "Finally!" She said, grabbing my hand and leading me around the house. "I've been waiting for you for ages. Let's explore!" We looked through a lot of the rooms, but I knew there were more. We went up stairs and ladders, down some and through countless doorways. Somehow I still knew exactly where I was in the house! Usually I'm so directionally challenged. We heard the maid calling us down for drinks, and I decided to go talk to her to see what she knew about this building. But Zukin wanted to go find the Chinchilla Room.

We split up, me going down and she going further up. When I reached the bottom, I was about to ask the maid what she knew about the Me-House, when the DC of the high school friend thanked me for sticking up for him earlier. He game me a drink in a "candied coconut shell" which was really delicious! I lost a lot of my lucidity and got horny, but the dream faded away after I walked onto a long balcony overlooking a cliff on the ocean. It was beautiful.

    7. Reckless Driving

      by , 06-17-2015 at 03:45 PM
I'm freshly lucid (don't recall how it started). The first thing I remember is running out to our truck and getting in. It's night time, I seem to be at C's mom's house, and I'm feeling excited about lucidity. I start the truck up quickly and drive off onto the lonely country road. It's so realistic that I'm having a little trouble believing it's a dream, but I just KNOW it is, so I put the pedal to the medal. The road starts to curve back and forth and I take the turns like a race car driver, hugging the inner edge. A few times I go a couple inches off the road and it's still really smooth. This gives me a little confirmation that I'm dreaming. I still think to myself, "If this is real, it's really easy! I should always go 200 mph around these corners."

    8. [DILD] Lights on

      by , 06-17-2015 at 01:02 PM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
I was in the attic with my sister. We were looking for something. Suddenly I became lucid. It was dark all around. I moved my hand in front of me and said "Light". My hand was working as a flashlight from now on. To turn the light off, I just thought about turning it off. Then I thought "Usually trying to do something in a lucid, without saying it aloud is not working. Maybe I should use voice commands all the time?"

To check if it's working, I turned the light off, and moved my hand in front of me. Trying to create light haven't worked without a voice command.
As I was just about to go down from the attic, I have awakened.

    9. Lucid Lesson: Managing Emotions

      by , 06-16-2015 at 11:59 PM
It's sunset and I'm with some generated DCs in a white, mid-90s model van. We're all happy and hanging out. One of us, a guy, is driving us into the parking lot of a strip mall. Somewhere in here I become lucid and get outside of the van. Not sure what my intentions are, but I run and get in a car that looks like my car from waking life. I just get in, not intending on driving. I'm planning on getting back out, but I know the van is driving around this way and will park next to me and I worry that they'll park too close so I won't be able to open my door. But, the van pulls around and parks a couple spaces off to my left, facing the other way. The people spill out of the vehicle, gabbing cheerily, and I observe them.

I start to notice that two of them, a guy and girl with light brown hair, are pretty attractive. I mull this over in my mind, trying to decide whether to initiate anything or not. It would be fun but would damage my lucidity. So, I slowly get out of the car and start walking over to them, still not completely decided. Suddenly, another girl from the group walks in front of me, in between me and the others around the van. She says something in a very loud, whiny voice and this grates on my nerves. I begin to get really angry, then I suddenly realize something. These DCs have been using my emotions to toy with me! I stop and calm myself, then look the DCs right in the eyes. They give me very powerful eye contact and their somewhat amused/excited faces seem to say, "Oohhh she gets it!" I smile back at them.

I stand there in my awareness, feeling it and thinking, "What should I do?" I go to one of the group members, the brown-haired female, and ask her. She says, "You see that store over there? I want you to imagine what it feels like on a Sunday at Easter, like it is right now. Then I want you to imagine somebody in that store, then go in and talk to them." I say, "Okay," then sit there on the hood of the van, thinking, "Who should I put in the store?" As I think, a few seconds go by and people bustle in and out of the store front. Even a big, bay horse comes out, all on its own with no saddle or anything, though I don't pay much attention to this. Suddenly, LI is standing next to me and I ask him, "Who should I put in that store?" He says excitedly, "Maya Punjar!" and it seems like he really looks up to her. We're now standing very near the entrance to the store, off to the right of it. I stand there thinking, trying to remember who Maya Punjar even is, then some Indian actress pops up in my head and I say, "Ohh! I know who that is." Of course, I don't know of any Maya Punjar in waking life. I consider summoning her, then say, "Well that's not personal enough, what else you thinkin'?" LI replies as he turns and walks inside, but I don't catch what he says.

I follow him into what now looks like a large house. There is no one else inside and it's kind of dim. He goes into a laundry room and floats up to the top right where the machines for some reason are. I float up next to him and ask him nicely to repeat what he said. He ignores me entirely, going about his business of switching laundry from washer to dryer. I get a little upset and ask him again, even nicer. Still no reply, but I'm determined to keep talking to him.
Things get a little less lucid here and one of us (can't remember now) starts a conversation about some movie I watched or something. We talk for a minute or two, sitting on some green pleather bench in the laundry room, then I suddenly hear a car horn from outside. This shocks me into "remembering" that C, LU and LN are all waiting for me in a van (maroon this time) outside. I feel instantly bad for "forgetting" and I leap up to go. I tell LI bye as I'm leaving and give him a cock-eyed "eek"/"ohcrap" face.

I run into the other room, grab my purse and head towards the door. A brown-haired lady cuts me off and it seems like she was coming back in to get me. I preempt her by saying, "I had to take a shit." I don't want everyone to know I was just sitting there talking to LI and forgetting about them. The lady says, "Okay, come on," and gets behind me as I walk towards the front door. I pass through another room, LU and LN's living room, and see them sleeping on the couches on there, close to the door. As I open it to go out, it wakes them and I turn and say bye. They blearily return my farewell and we exchange waves as I go out the door.

I go to the van which is pulled up at the edge of the yard. There are trees all around and we seem to be in a semi-rural area or an underdeveloped part of town. LU is in the driver's seat, C is in the passenger seat and LN is asleep in the back behind him. I go the passenger door and just try to open it like normal, but my intention is to get into the back seat. C notices this and says, "What're you doin' tryin' to get in one side?" I realize my folly and get in the back seat where Sestma was and is no longer, then I wake up.

    10. The Room

      by , 06-16-2015 at 05:40 PM
I was inside my older brother's room but felt like it was my room. My younger brother was with me and took two small clear packets that were empty. I was giving him two ear rings of mine so that he could give it to his girl friend. Found it kind of annoying but i was trying to do him a favor. I than got up and went through a door. The house was sort of different too so that door is not present in WL. Anyways i went into it and was looking for something with my brother when suddenly i felt a strong presence. It felt evil so i told my brother that we had to get out of here quickly.

When he got out a really short dc figure came in smiling and tried scaring me.
I pushed him away with both my hands telling him to go away. When we got out the door i ran upstairs. Forgot what happened after that.

I was walking around in an unfamiliar dark city when suddenly i ended up in my room. I found money and showed it to my mom/dad but was surprised when i saw how it said fake money on it.

Than something happened where i was at a house party with family members from my mom's side. The ladies were preparing dinner. I felt hungry too so i took a plantain but than a little boy tapped me from behind and told me to make him something. I said okay but in my head i was thinking how i really was hungry and just wanted to make food for myself. I started looking in the fridge and noticed jolly rancher brand of fruit in a bag. I asked if i could have one and was told yes by a lady. There were other kids reaching for stuff in the fridge too.

I than got up and looked around. There were less people than before and i felt thankful that the little boy wasn't there anymore so i could have the food all to myself. But after walking around a bit the dream shifted.

I was now viewing a scene of a lady in a desert like city covered in a white/pink/yellow dress and head wrap. Something that looked traditional and maybe Indian attire. She was tan and had hoop ear rings too. Anyways a man narrator mentioned how she was trying to escape the city and was doing her best to camouflage with the background so no one would see her. As he mentioned this that is exactly what she was doing.

I than appeared inside a mall like place with stores to the side. A lady was walking to a store and i was following her. But when she went in another lady behind me shouted for her to run out. That's when a shadow consumed the lady. I ran with the lady who was behind me and we ended up inside a house where she ended up tripping. I than though about how lame it was that i was running from it.

I took a different direction than ended up inside a school where it was supposedly being taken over by zombie like creatures. I flew through the halls looking for Kiro/Eye. I flew into a room where they were barricading it so the creatures wouldn't come in. A boy who reminded me of Kiro but looked nothing like him was trying to weave leaves together. I told him i would help and started sticking the leaves together and pouring water on it so it would stick. I was only doing this to blend into the dream world since i was a bit paranoid at that time.

The guy mentioned how i was doing a good job. After that he told me that we had to leave and than the dream shifted.
I was now on a bed with my younger brother in the room. I locked the door and made sure it was shut since i hate open doors in dreams. My younger brother was watching t.v. as i stared at the wall looking at three symbols on it before i woke up.

    11. Vacation and Ants (#216)

by , 06-16-2015 at 01:55 PM (Lucid Time!)
I was attending my astronomy class. It was being held in the basement of my house for some reason, and we were taking a test. (I feel like I dream quite a lot of having a class from school being held in the basement of my house.) We actually do have a test today as well.

I was going through the test and it was really hard. I remember at some point I had to get another pencil out of my backpack but the professor thought I was looking at a cheat sheet that I had hidden and took my test away and gave me a 0.

I sat there for a few minutes but didn't become lucid. Then everyone left but the prof was still mad at me. He told me to stop eating in class because I had gotten popcorn all over the floor and that I had to clean it up. I told him that there was no popcorn on the floor and that I hadn't eaten anything. I looked back at where I had been sitting and there was popcorn all over the floor. Not just like the crumbs that got away, though. It was like somebody had spilled five packs of popcorn under my seat. (Oh come on, subc, that's just being a dick.)

I got yelled at for a few more minutes about how I was going to fail the class and get in trouble for my conduct or whatever.

      -WBTB-

I was at a very upscale hotel. I recall it being one of those indoor courtyard hotels. Very contemporary design, a lot of white. I am there for some kind of convention for lucid dreamers or something similar to that.

Also, dream guides and other characters were 'real' in this world and were attending the convention as well. I recall waiting in a line to get wristbands, and dreamers and dream characters got different colored wristbands. Every dreamer got a number that matched with his dream characters that was also on the wristband. My number was 104 I think.

Quite a bit actually happened that I can only vaguely recall. I know my parents were there, though they really didn't seem to want to be there, however. My dad was acting really grumpy because he thought that lucid dreaming was stupid and that there shouldn't be a convention for it. My mom told him they should go to the restaurant and eat something. (Very grounded in reality, both in the fact that my dad doesn't like lucid dreaming, and that he gets grumpy when he is hungry...)

I didn't go to the restaurant with them, though. I wasn't hungry and I had to wait around for my persistent dream characters to arrive at the convention. I didn't see them waiting in the line, so I decided to wait for them by the front door of the hotel. I went to go looking for them.

As I explored, the hotel morphed from the modern upscale design where everything was white to a log cabin/skiing lodge kind of appearance.
I then became lucid randomly and did a nose pinch RC just to confirm. I was very happy that I was lucid and wanted to find something interesting to explore in the dream world.

I eventually found this library room. Everything seemed to be super huge though. I remember when I walked in I noticed that my head only went up to the top of the first bookshelf. Also, the library looked very old. The shelves were made of a dark wood and the books were all older looking. I remember trying to look at some of the books because I wanted to see if they were like the books in Harry Potter where the words and characters on the page can move. But whenever I tried to look at a book it would fly off the shelf and flap its pages like wings and position itself somewhere else.

I came into what felt like the center of the library. There was this big indoor garden built up on what I guess was a desk or table. It seemed like a really low and wide desk/table. The garden at first just looked like a bunch of unusual plants in pots. I remember thinking that it was just the same three or four plants repeated over and over. I remember one of them having leaves that were partially colored purple, and another being a very vivid green colored bamboo.

I decided to see if I could talk to the plants and ask them about where I was. I tried to channel my energy into and ask them what was up. I just heard a bunch of small, childlike voices say 'Okay!'.

This dream character who looked kind of like Marcus appeared. Though he gave me a vibe of my grandfather. He looked like sort of a mix between the two, though his voice was that of my grandfather. He told me something about this garden in the library housed the only specimen in the world of some kind of toxic plant that could kill you if you ate just 10 milligrams of it.

The garden had become much more impressive. It was now a small indoor mountain made of a light grayish rock. There was a small waterfall going down the side and the same plants that had been repeated in the pots were now much larger and growing all over the mountain. At the bottom was a pond with koi fish in it.

He told me we had to climb the stone mountain to see the rare poisonous plant. I threw up for no reason. I got worried that I had thrown up in my bed in waking life.

We climbed to the top to see the plant. When we got to the top I saw what looked like some kind of fungus growth coming out of the highest rock on the mountain. It was a big round dark purple blob with roots stretching out all around. When I looked more closely at the roots I realized that they were all rows of ants.

Then the fungus opened up like a clam or a walnut splitting open. The inside was an eyeball but black with a purple iris and it looked at me and started emitting some cloud of dark yellow gas.

We went back down the moutntian. Me and the DC were both kind of shaken by what had happened. It's around here that I lose recall of what happened, but know that there was more content to the dream.

    12. An unstable lucid dream, and strawberry-banana breadsticks

      by , 06-15-2015 at 09:52 PM (Mouka's Mind Palace)
I wound up in a super unstable lucid dream. I knew it was a dream, but when I looked at my hands, my fingers looked normal. So I tried the trick where I put my finger through my palm, which also didn't work. Then I moved to holding my nose and I could still breathe, so... successful reality check. Though I was pretty annoyed about all the instability and my dream not acting "normal". I stood there in the room and tried out some things to see how much control I had. Zero! First I attempted to power up, so I balled my hands into fists and tried going Super Saiyan. There was a slight static feeling, but nothing else happened. So then I tried making a ki ball and shooting off a little energy blast. That didn't work either, even when I tried to visualize the energy flowing up through my hands. Super annoyed at this point, I climbed up onto a staircase and jumped off, bellyflop style. I can ALWAYS fly when I jump off something. But nope, not this time! I just flat out landed on the carpet. So there I was, on the carpet, moving my hands around on the floor to feel the texture of the carpet in an attempt to stabilize the dream somewhat... and then all my annoyance made me lose my lucidity. After that, I wound up in some dream with Seru, but it was so fuzzy I can't remember much other than there was something I wanted to do for him, but I was avoiding it because I was afraid I'd fail. I think it involved writing something? You know, it might have been a poem. Oh my god, would I really be so lame as to write sweet poems for people? Ugh. There was also something involving some really blocky landscape I was flying over. It looked a lot like a 3D landscape version of some of the levels in Super Mario World.

I went to the grocery store to pick up something yummy, and picked out this breadstick-looking thing. I was driving my car home, and I had this big cup with this beadstick in it next to me in the driver seat, but I think it was more of a... I can't remember what they're called. Those bread rolls with filling in them? They're usually kept in fridges? I don't know, but it was cold and I knew had strawberry-banana filling. But hell, it was a dream, it could've been an actual breadstick with strawberry-banana filling in it. Weird stuff.

      #445 - DEILD - 7:45AM

The Monday got me this morning and I just said to heck with it, I'll go in at 9 and sleep a little more.

I am dreaming and laying in some sort of box with dirt in it in the gutter. There's some tube running off of some part of my body to drain something out. I feel the worst depression I've ever known and I decide to just lay there until I die. I really want to die. The thought of it moving on feels like a great relief. Then, I think that I should at least try to get lucid while I am lying her and this partially wakes me up.

I focus on body relaxation and vibes start. I try getting out but it feels off somehow so I go more visual and find that I am walking in the house. I feel the presence of my wife or someone (but it feels like her energy) following close behind me but I can't see her. It's comforting. I step out the front door and all my depression drops away and is replaced with a feeling of bliss. The air is pleasantly cool and I am delighted that I had an OBE. It has been forever. There is a light snow on the ground and the dream is unstable so I roll around in it. I still feel my wife near me watching over me like a guardian. I love it. The birds are singing loud and clear and it is the most beautiful bird sound. Everything feels like heaven and I enjoy every second of this visually unstable dream. I soon wake up.

    14. Dream Battle / Rainbow Tasting / What's Up My Sleeve? (DILD)

      by , 06-14-2015 at 08:18 PM
A woman and I are running from a pursuer, another woman. "Faster, faster!" the first woman urges me. "Don't look back, it will slow you down." I don't see why I have to run away, but fine, I'll play along... I do look back, however, and I'm surprised how close the pursuer is. This motivates me to try to put some distance between me and her, so I run harder... and yet I can't seem to make much gain on her. I'm perplexed: I know I should be able to do this, I'm dreaming, it's not like I have to rely on my physical stamina. I wonder if the answer is in running with more short strides rather than trying to cover more distance with each step, much as one is advised to run in WL, so I try out variations. I'm making progress, but concentrating so hard on my running form is becoming tedious. "Imagining running is almost as hard as the real thing!" I comment to the woman fleeing with me. Getting bored with this situation I decide to put an end to it, and succeed in sprinting ahead to the point where I can turn a corner and leave the pursuer's field of vision, at which point I figure I've made a fair escape.

However, it turns out that my pursuer had an accomplice: I now find myself in a struggle with a huge brawny man with a shaggy brown beard. I perceive him as a Viking, and I'm aware that his name is Torvald. He is connected somehow with the woman who was chasing me earlier, and is likewise an antagonist. Our struggle manifests partially as a kind of combat, but it feels as much like a battle of dream control as a physical battle.

I easily resist Torvald's initial attempts to subdue me, but his immense confidence makes me wonder if I should doubt my own. I go on the offensive and try to put him out of action more permanently, trying various tactics to destroy his body. For instance, at one point I imagine his body being crushed by a great weight from above, and although this has him stretched out supine on the ground for as long as I'm actively thinking it, he is soon back on his feet. I try crushing his heart and throat from inside his body, but he is only briefly inconvenienced.

I wonder if fire would do the trick, and visualize Torvald's body burning to ash. Though I've said nothing aloud, he appears to understand my intentions, and rather than actively resisting like he did with my other attacks, he simply denies the efficacy of this approach. "Fire won't work," he tells me flatly. I refuse to acknowledge this and continue contentrating on the image of fire consuming him. "Fire won't work," Torvald tells me again. I'm thinking: how could this be? It's my dream, isn't it? Fire should work if I say it should work. So I redouble my focus on the fire. With patient indifference, Torvald insists: "Fire won't work." I find this disconcerting, because apparently my confidence is unable to overcome his. Aren't I the dreamer? But there is no time for philosophical questions; we are still in combat. I switch tactics: if he is resistant to fire, how about ice? I start to try to freeze him—even if it doesn't destroy him it might at least slow him down temporarily—but Torvald has found the opening he needed and pins me to the ground.

Torvald's inexplicable ability to ignore my attempts to burn him makes me wonder if I should worry that he could actually harm me. But I have a superpower too: as the dreamer, I am invulnerable... aren't I? I decide to play it safe, and secretly project my "real" identity to the roof of a nearby building. It is a large square brick structure about 8–10 stories high, and I crouch behind the low brick railing that surrounds the flat roof, tempted to peek out at the combat occurring down below but not wanting to let Torvald see me and discover the trick. So I transfer my perceptions back to my body on the ground, which I now regard as a mere DC, and thus disposable. If my attacker succeeds in destroying this body, it won't matter: I've secured my identity elsewhere. Torvald actually glances up toward the roof when I think this, and I quickly realize that I need to guard my thoughts as well.

"Do you have someone watching me?" Torvald asks. I am relieved, because although he suspects that there is an observer on the roof, he hasn't seen through my whole trick—he doesn't seem to recognize that the person up there is actually me. I project a new thought toward him, gleefully: I recall how undercover police have been tracking him, and that I've been using our encounter to distract and delay him until they were in position. Maybe none of this was true earlier, but it doesn't matter: this is a dream battle, so it is true now! When Torvald looks back down at me, I grin mockingly and deliberately call him by the wrong name, "Harald," just to annoy him further. The game is up, and my undercover officers move in and force Torvald to release me. I'm not sure what happens to him after that... pleased with having solved the dilemma, I simply walk away.

What's next? The last incident was not one that I had intended, but now I'm free to work on tasks. I enter a wide clearing and wonder if I should try the Dragon Age task again. I've always liked the idea of aligning dream space with fictional environments from books, films, or games, but I'm still trying to figure out how to do it. I suppose the first step would be to remember a concrete environment from the game and try to insert aspects of it here. I played DA:I just last night, so I should be able to access those memories... but as I seek them out I feel a tremor of dream instability, and decide not to push it. If there's a risk of waking, I should put that task off until later. For now, there are still a few TOTMs I haven't tried this month, and I decide to work on those.

"Taste a rainbow." That one is easy to remember. I imagine a rainbow in the sky, and produce something very faint and not at all rainbow-colored. The colors are largely ochres and earthtones, and not even in proper lines but arranged in a more tesselated pattern over the arch. I'm not being a perfectionist at this point, so I accept this as a "rainbow" and shrink it into a stick of candy in my hand. The colors have changed in the process, and for some reason the candy stick is white with swirls of red and blue. Still not rainbow-colored! But I take a bite. The texture is interesting, lots of little pieces that crunch between my teeth, but the flavor is a real disappointment: vague, muted, and blandly sweet. Apart from "sweet," no other descriptors really present themselves. This won't do. A rainbow should taste more unusual than this! I decide to start over.

This time I put more work into the rainbow itself. I first visualize it, then focus on the faint transparent arch until it becomes more clearly visible, but this also has the consequence of making it more material. Now it appears like a physical object, a two-dimensional vertical banner in an arch about ten feet high and twenty feet long, right in front of me. I work on correcting the pattern so that it has rainbow colors in properly aligned stripes... I see some improvement, although it is a C+ effort at best. It looks better than my last attempt, anyway, so I approach the "rainbow" and try to take a bite directly out of it. The experience is like... chewing on a shower curtain. It really feels like I've put a sheet of plastic in my mouth, although the material is soft enough to crush between my teeth. Again the texture is more prominent than the taste. I put all my attention on the flavor, trying to detect anything describable, and think maybe I get some underlying fruity notes, but again it remains vague and uninteresting. Taste and smell are the least developed of my dream senses... I wonder if I could improve them if I worked at it?

I feel like I have adequately completed the task, anyway, and wonder what to try next. In all my efforts with the rainbows I had hardly paused to note all the people sitting at various tables around this clearing, like picnickers, but observing them now, I figure it might be fun to try the magic show. What would a stage magician do? I guess the most basic tricks involve having something up one's hat or one's sleeve? I notice that I am completely naked, which has long since ceased to embarrass me in dreams, but gives me a mischievous idea.

"What's up my sleeve?" I start circling among the various tables, challenging the audience members to come up with a response. One of the first responses is: "Following a guy from Eton to [...]?" (I forgot the second place name.) This answer reminds me of the earlier scene, and how I resolved the conflict with Torvald. This DC must have been one of my officers! "Are you an undercover cop?" I ask him in reply. He grudgingly nods. "Not anymore!" I'm joking about how he has just blown his cover, but it also feels like an appropriate analogy to my own lack of sleeves... I'm not "undercover" either.

I continue asking, "What's up my sleeve?" and collect various other responses from the audience, all of which were non-sequiturs... but I reasoned that the illogic of the question itself (since there was no sleeve) invited such creative responses. After hearing from seven different people, I realized that I might have trouble remembering all this when I woke up, so I stopped and went over their answers again, one by one, to help fix them in memory. Already I had trouble recalling two of the answers, but one of the DCs helpfully reminded me, additionally pointing out that the answers varied between the metaphorical (things that never could go up a sleeve) and the literal ("Three shekels" was one of these answers, I think). Meanwhile I was getting ready for the grand finale to my show, when I would reveal my own answer to the question. I had been planning on the groaningly obvious "Nothing!" and was ready for the big reveal when I noticed that something had changed... now I was wearing clothes, including a short-sleeved shirt. I realized that if I was going to go for the groaningly obvious at this point, I would have to answer "My arm!"

I felt myself start waking up, and I already had a lot to remember and report so I didn't resist the process. I woke up slowly enough that I was able to concentrate on those seven answers from the DCs and hold them in mind, with what felt like excellent clarity and accuracy. And then something happened... as I crossed the threshold, despite all my care and preparation, the memories abruptly tattered, the details dissolving. The only one of the seven answers I could still remember, and that incompletely, was the first—and that I suspect only because it was anchored by its reference to the earlier scene.

Meant to WBTB but somehow missed my alarm. Been doing daytime affirmations.

I then found a bar in the department store I was in and ordered an appletini and woke up after I drank it.
This dream was longer at the begging, but recall is tough there. Some stuff happened at some gathering. The men left the women to go gamble. Something about the women feeling neglected and alone. They are all sitting in bleachers. Some guy lost all his money. One guy shows up and opened a duffel bag full of money. He gives hand fulls of cash to his wife while on one knee as a sort of peace offering. I am watching all of this like it's a movie. The camera floats past the big winner and and pans out to a birds eye view of the gym. Bill Hicks walks up and addresses the large group of women, "You know... I can here to gamble and eat meatball subs, but when I noticed the subs were only 55 cents, I knew there was a reason for it [I was going to lose all of my money]. Now what I am going to do is lay here and use the dream state to sleep with all of you." He pulls out a sleeping bad out of nowhere and lays on his back. I have a close up view of him closing his eyes and concentrating. I think how awesome it would be to just LD a will like this. The scene darkens for a moment.

I now have a first person view of some office. I think I am seeing Bill's dream through his eyes. I think wow he just went straight into the dream. I look around and see the word "Private" on a frosted glass door. The letters morph off at the end and read, "This is a dream." I think, "Wow he just set that scene up so he would get lucid right away." I exit out of the door and see a post-it note on the wall. It reads, "JOKE" then the letters all split and morph and I slowly read them out as they do. I find myself saying, "This is a dream Mike." I think, "Mike!?" The letters are solid and don't morph. "MIKE" This personal message makes me realize I am in my own dream and become fully lucid.

I look around and see that I am a clothing store similar to JC Penny's. I see Bill Hick's looking at me as he exits a nearby door. I shout out, "Thanks for the note!"
      He smiles and waves.
Hopeful, I add, "Will you do this for me every time?"
He's outside now, but I see and hear him yell back through the glass, "Yep I will." (I'm holding you to your promise Bill!)
I fist pump and let out a long whispered, "Yessssssss!" I am so happy he said he would do that. I now look around the store just excited to be in a stable lucid dream. I shout out some random things about being in a dream. The feeling of using my voice is so vivid and I marvel how I'm really quietly laying in bed. Just being here is a true miracle.

I start thinking about goals, but nothing comes to mind. There is a bar in the store and I decide to have a lucid drink of alcohol. As I take a seat at stool I see a bartender dressed in white wiping down a glass. I think maybe I want to try a pickletini, but I know that I've never had one in waking life so it's sort of pointless to see if I like it here. I remember that I have really been wanting an appletini lately so I say, "Just give me an appletini." The bartender summons a drink from his hand and slides a martini glass full of clear liquid and a green apple slice sitting in the bottom. I catch it and down it in one gulp forgetting about the apple chunk. At first there is no flavor or sensation so I decide to conjure up the taste. I immediately get the after taste of green apple candy. Not bad. I turn and walk away and the dream started to go dark. I focus on relaxing my body and holding still for DEILD, but my physical eyes uncontrollably flutter open and I fully wake up.
