    1. Lucid dream escaping Alcatrez-like facility

by , 09-13-2011 at 10:45 PM (High Quality Head Movies)
I remember starting off in a dungeon of a facility like alcatrez which was elevated on a very tall hill and the hill was surrounded by water.

I was with my Dad, brother (taterking5), and my uncle (Jwhitley's dad). We were in the dungeon but I never could figure out why. We kept trying to find a way out until we discovered the window bars came off.

We looked out the window and the drop to the ground was too high and jumping would surely end with feet in your brain. Below our window ledge about 1 story below us was a water flume coming out of the facility. We details iced to see if we could aim for that.

My dad and bro went first. My dad made it to the flume, but my bro missed entirely and crashed into the ground. We all panicked and couldn't believe what had happened when suddenly he reappeared next to me. Turns out when we die we return to the previous place before death! We didn't ask why.

My dad jumped and landed on another hill 2 stories below the flume. After many deaths and revivals we all made it to the ground safely. We looked out to the water and we were all on a beach. I then had a strange sudden realization that 2hat had just happened couldn't have been real and then became aware of the dream.

Everyone and everything started getting brighter and fuzzier and I thought I was waking up and panicked and dove into the water. Everything slowly became normal again except I was sinking and couldn't surface. I was telling myself I can't drown in a dream as I was swimming back up and eventually overcame the sudden pull toward the ocean floor. I came up out of the water and everyone was back to normal and not fading like before when i thought the dream was fading.

I got back up to the hill and started trying to summon lightning on the horizon but had to give up because I saw some prison guards running towards us. I separated from the group and started to swim away from the facility and towards land. I went toward the road and started running. I saw a wall that extended as far as I could see and realized I was walled in and I was not free yet. I then ran to a guard station and tried to determine how I was going to get past the two guards at the station. One was on my side of the gate and one was outside the gate. I saw that the one on the inside of the gate was standing with no weapon and the one outside of the gate was sitting down but I couldn't tell if he had a weapon or not. I grabbed a stick and slammed it into the head of the guard on my side of the gate (if I wasn't in such a rush I probably would have thought to try and do more dream control). I knocked out the guard when the other stood up with an RPG.

Then time moved in slow motion when he went to squeeze the trigger as I dove behind the station booth. I saw the explosion go off with dirt and chunks of concrete flying everywhere. I knew he would have to take the time to reload it so I ran around the booth, jumped over a wooden fence (went from concrete walls to a wooden fence somehow) and jump on him with a rock and beat him with it until he was unconscious.

I then heard sirens going off so I guess the guard called for reinforcements before I beat the crap out of him. I ran to get to anything that could get me away and found a red 2011 Silverado crew cab like my dad's and for some reason I thought it was my truck. I ran to it and the keys were in it along with a bunch of airsoft guns in the back seat and airsoft gun pistols in the door pockets. I told myself that I could just use some dream control to make them real guns. I then realized that the road was the same road as the livingston camp grounds that our Church goes to for a weekend every year and I saw my cousins Ben and Brett riding bikes down the road and they looked at me and gave the nod (you know raising your head to acknowledge and then continuing with whatever you were doing). I started the truck and started backing it up and then I woke up.

I can't believe I didn't try more control, I guess I was just afraid of getting captured or waking up that I just decided to continue on with the dream with no fear of death knowing I was dreaming...
    2. Two short lucid dreams for a newbie

      by , 09-13-2011 at 05:18 PM
Hello everyone. I am new to this but I have been used allot of time lately on this and feel little obsessed by it. However, thought I could share my experiences the last week. I usually remember dreams every morning but the last week it had been allot of party so only remember two of them but in return they are both my first and second lucid dreams even I only was lucid for a few seconds both times.

Wednesday 7 September, non-lucid to lucid
I was a place which reminded me of my hometown and near the house where I grew up. There was allotting of people in the streets and they where all playing with water. I was lying at the back of a pickup truck and cuddle with a girl. I was hiding from my gf who was cycling around the area. Afterwards I went to a building and found a guy I worked with for many years ago. He and his friend were borrowing the room next to mine for sleeping.

I was sitting on the grass at my grandfather’s farm. There was lots of people there and some family members. I spoke to my mother who sat across me. She told me that my grandfather (who recently died) was lucky to be buried near this place. Suddenly she disappeared when I looked away for a short moment and I looked at my hands and realized I was dreaming.

I got so excited and walked little and jumped high into the air but in the same time I regret it as I have read here that I should take it easy and try stabilize the dream first. The dream became unclear and then turned black. I tried to spin but wake up in my bed and did some RC, just to make sure I did not have a false awakening.

Tuesday 13 September, non-lucid to lucid
I was in a room connected to a house with a small garden in between. I saw a huge group of people who was coming up the road to the house. I knew this had happened before and knew that the group would be busy with some other things before they would attack me. I looked at the house and thought about last time and when i barricade myself in the house and I remembered all of the rooms there. I was thinking about to use the same strategy and then it suddenly hit me that I was dreaming and i looked at my hands which was strange and I became lucid.

I was calmer this time but very excited in body and the dream started to be unclear. I walked to a storeroom and spin around and the dream get more clear again but not for long. Then I tried to rub my hands together and helped for a few seconds before I wake up and did some RC.

Not good enough but I believe I am on the right way.

      WILD and short Lucid Dream

I just want to quickly mention that I had a very interesting experience last night with WILDing.

I did WBTB. I wasn't actually going to WILD, but hoped to have a LD by DILD. But right as I lay in bed thinking "I'm not tired enough to sleep", I realized that what I thought had been my own conscious thoughts were turning into dreams (Will write the details later. Notes: dog, jumping, wall, T-rex)

I then thought "Wow, I guess I am tired--maybe I should try to WILD". I then relaxed completely and focused.

What happened next was really incredible. When I had my first WILD I went straight from consciouness into the dream with out any --I can't remember the correct terms--the lights and sounds. (HI?)

Well, this time I instantly saw green lights and heard and indescribable sound. It was a middle range tone...slightly digital sounding. The lights were crazy. I thought I saw a face in the lights and got a little scared. (I had heard people talking about getting scared in this transition. And now I know what they mean.) Then the sounds started sounding voice-like.

I actually started praying because I was freaking out and felt really out of control. And then slowly everything faded and I was laying back on my bed. During that time I didn't dare try to move because I know that if I found that I couldn't I would have been doubly freaked out. This whole thing probably lasted less than a minute. But it was so very intense. It was a really good exprience to have. Gives me more of an idea of what other people go through, and what might happen in the future when I try to WILD again.

I think I went to sleep after that. But I remember finding myself in my old computer room and lucid. I was sitting cross-legged on the floor and facing the North wall. It didn't feel very stable, and I knew that I didn't have long in this LD. Last night as I went to bed I decided that the next time I went lucid, more importanly than me completing the Task was for me to focus on detail, especially on myself.

So I did exactly what I had wanted-- I reached out my right arm and really looked at it. I took my other hand and rubbed it up and down that arm to feel the sensation of touch in this dream. It was wonderfully real...even as the dream faded.

      11-29-06

I just had my longest Lucid Dream ever.

I had awakened at exactly 6:00. It was a sleep-in day, so I got up did a few little things, took a B6, then lay back on my bed and listened to U2 for about a half hour, then turned off the music and thought about what I wanted to LD about. I came up with a few ideas, but decided I might just go with the flow when the LD started. At exactly 7:00 I laid back down to go to sleep.

I started dreaming. The first part that stands out was I was at my friends' house. They had moved and were building their own house. The house was like a big castle--but painted white with red trim. There was a tunnel though the house, and I could see a large train engine sitting there.

I told them, "Wow...I see you are actually making your dream house. It's so cool!"

I talked to them for a bit about the house. Then I got distracted. I had this ball of rolled up chain that I was holding. I realized that I could make it float, and if I hung on real tight I could come up off the ground a few feet.

I'm pretty sure it was that that triggered lucidity. This was such a long dream that I don't feel that I can get it all in order. But I don't feel that for this type of dream order will make a huge difference.

I believe the first thing I did was to fly. I don't think I went far before I decided I needed to try some things out. So I landed.

I looked at my hands. I wanted to get as much detail as I could. The fingers this time were all normal. There were a few purple ink smudges on my hand (in the dream I blamed them for some I had gotten in real life, but I actually didn't have any IRL). The spots would come and go, kind of like when you look at a bright light and for the next minute you see a spot of color in front of your eyes that moves around as you move your eyes.

I could also see the ridges and finger prints on my hand and fingers. I felt satisfied at the detail I was seeing.

I looked at my clothes. I was wearing my long sleeve brown shirt (again) and my blue Levis... and blue flip flops (which I don't own in real life).

I flew around again and did December's Basic Lucid Task...which I just wanted to try and see if I could. I guess I have to leave out the details here, until the Tasks are made public. I was surprised how easy it was and knew that if I became lucid in December it would be no problem to repeat.

      Then things get fuzzy.

I think I flew around some more until I came to two guys. I thought, "I'm wasting this LD. I need to do something interesting". I looked at the guys again. They were both old-ish. I looked at the younger of the two. He was in his late forties, balding and had crooked teeth. And he didn't look to happy to see me hovering in front of him and staring at him like that.

But I thought, "What the heck." So I came close to him and thought I would give him a little kiss. But instead, our teeth clanked and he pushed me away.

I thought , "Okay, that was a bad idea." and flew again.

I eneded up in this large castle like building. I can't remember details, but I remember walking out of a room and out on a balcony. I looked over the edge. I was up many stories. There were rocky fields below. I thought about letting myself fall off backwards like I had done before--because it is really a test of courage to just fall back like that.

But instead I took this moment to stop and think. I thought back on this LD and was afraid I would never remember all I did. I thought about finding a paper to write it down, thinking that maybe the review in my mind might help when I woke up. But I decided not to because I thought that might take too long.

So I looked back off the balcony again. And that's when I remembered I owed CoLd BlooDed a flight. I looked around and hoped he would just show up there on the balcony with me. When he didn't I stared at the stone wall and concentrated on making him materialize out of nowhere. That also didn't work.

Frustrated, I looked back down at the ground and focused on a rock. I then picked it up with my mind and threw it as far as I could.

I did that to a second rock...and a third. I was rather impressed with myself because I had never remembered being able to do that in a dream. I thought about other powers I might want to try. I thought about how Oneironaut gathered all this energy in him and did something cool with it...but I couldn't remember exactly what he had done (decided I would read about it again when I woke up).

I think I just decided to fly again. I realized that there was music playing. It was a lot like Handel's Hallelujah Chrous--but not quite.

I decided I just wanted to fly fast and high. I sometimes have trouble going either fast or high. So I did what I read about on this website about picturing rockets coming out of my feet. As soon as I thought that I heard a low roar and left myselt surge forward a bit. But then it slowed again.
And it was somewhere around here that I woke up. And when I looked at the clock it said 8:04.

    5. LD: Flying Kayak/Car

      by , 09-13-2011 at 04:36 PM

      Lucid Dream

I actually don't even remember how this dream started because it was sandwiched in between two non-lucids.

It started like I was watching a movie. There were all these flying robots that were flying over LA to do something. I was seeing them as if I was flying through the air with them.

For some reason I became lucid (probably the flying). I was sitting in this small flying car that was a bit like a kayak because I was out on top holding on to the sides using that to steer.

I spent pretty much the whole dream just flying around in this little car enjoying the ride. At one point I thought, "Now what were next month's tasks?" Then I remembered it was not next month, and I shouldn't worry about trying those just yet.

I tried to focus on details as I was flying. I could feel the wind through my hair and hear the wind in my ears. Very very real. My mind did a great job of making the wind stronger and louder as I turned and swooped.

Then I saw Disneyland in the distance. I wanted to fly there. I headed toward it. Right as I was getting close to the Matterhorn, I could feel myself start to wake up.

Now this is what I found most interesting in this dream. I felt myself wake up. I was even seeing what I thought was my real life (FA) but I was able to pull myself back to the dream, and focus back on the feeling of the wind and of Disneyland in front of me.

      This happened several times

until I finally got to the point where I thought I was fully awake and not able to go back to the dream. Unfortunately it was another False Awakening. But I was so intent at this point to run to the computer to write it down. I was surprised to find that my computer had been taken down (but not so surprised as to become lucid again.) and for the next few minutes of dream I was just trying to find a way to write the LD down. Because that happened, I don't feel I have the details on this LD as well as some of my other lucid dreams from the past.

In fact, I remember thinking that in the dream I was hearing music playing. But I couldn't tell you now what it was But maybe it will come to me.

      BUt anyway--another Lucid Dream!!

      Edit:

I need to write up the conditions leading up to this LD. This was a sleep in morning. I had awaken at my normal time of 6:00. I knew I didn't have to get up yet. I got up and went to the bathroom and got a drink...and on a whim took half of a B-6 vitamin (50 mg). I was kind of cold. I crawled back into my bed and got under my wonderful micro-fleece blanket and my also wonderful big down comforter. It was so wonderfully cozy that I was able to drift back into dreamland.

    6. Old LD from 11-9-06

      by , 09-13-2011 at 04:32 PM
      11-9-06

Yes! I just awoke from yet another LD. I hope this means that they are back to stay.

      Lucid Dream

I remember driving with my mom. We came to this train crossing. I had this feeling a train was near, but the arms were up. I looked right and saw that a train had just passed. After we crossed I looked left and saw that another train was coming. The arms weren't going down, and there were no flashing lights. I was afraid the cars behind me were going to get hit. But then we were too far ahead to see.

We came to this big and very busy intersection. Next thing I remember my mom and I were out of the car. She told me she hated to drive through that intersection.

Next I remember we were on top of this fairly high concrete roof on a building by that same intersection. I was at the edge...I was falling off. As I went over I told my mom that I would be ok. I wasn't lucid yet...but I was getting close.

Then my mom and I were both on the ground level again now. I was thinking that what just happened was weird. I looked at my mom again. She was wearing an Old Navy flag shirt that was pretty low cut. It was so not my mom that --just like the tank top in the other recent LD--it triggered lucidity.

I said, "Mom, cool, you are in my LD! This means you can come flying with me--won't that be great?"

Then I said, "But first we need to feel the texture of this brick planter next to us." I reached out and felt the bricks. They were fairly smooth, with flecks of rough spots. [It was exactly like a type of brick that I know from real life--the texure was perfect.]

I then said, "We need to look at our hands". They looked almost normal exept for a small finger growing out between my third and fourth finger. I remembered what Ranma said about trying to keep it from changing--to keep it stable. I told myself to make my hand right. It went to completely normal. But when I stopped concentrating, the little finger came back. I did this a few times and never was able to keep that 6th finger from appearing again. I'll have to keep working on that one.

Then I told my mom, "Now we can fly." I took off and heard my mom flying behind me. I went out into the street area. There were these decorations strung out between the street lamps in the center of the road. They were at first like white sheets, then turned into those fake spider webs you buy for Halloween.

As I was flying under these, I noticed that the music from Peter Pan was playing again "You can fly, you can fly, you can fly....". I thought, "Wow...just like in my first LD....I like it." Once I started listening, it played louder...and I hummed along.

But then I was having trouble getting past all the spider webs. They were all over now and I couldn't fly any higher because of them.

Suddenly I was in a mall. I decided to land.

Things get fuzzy here. I had some sort of plan/goal. But I don't remember what it was. Then I saw a guy I knew from high school (D Lopez). [We had been in a lot of classes, and he was friends with another of my friends, but I always was under the impression that he didn't like me too much. So I'm not sure why he was the one to show up here.]

I landed next to him and said, "Ha!...You're in my LD."

He looked at me and said, "You are not going to kiss me, are you?"

I laughed and said, "I think I will."

So I put my arms around his neck and started to kiss him. I suddenly realized that I didn't remember ever kissing anyone in my dreams before. It felt quite real and kind of good in spite of the fact that it was D.

Then the dream faded and I woke up.

And this all took place between alarms (5:50 and 6:00).....so the whole thing was less than 10 minutes. They always seem so much longer. But in spite of the length it was a very satisfying LD.

    8. Not My Room

      by , 09-13-2011 at 01:32 PM
The dream starts with me opening my eyes to see my room, only, not quite. I immediately notice that there's something wrong with my room and look up to see that there's a panda in the corner of my ceiling. The panda stared back at me, and that's when I noticed the panda's eyes were red, and it was not one of those adorable fluffy things you see on Animal Planet. The panda's eyes started to make me feel uncomfortable so I decide to close my eyes in attempt to wake up from the dream.

When I open my eyes again the panda's gone. But I'm seated in an awkward position that I don't remember falling asleep in, slouching forward over my knees, and realise that I still haven't woken up from the dream yet. So once again I close my eyes.

At this point I start to get worried. I've woken up in a different position, lying on my stomach with my head to the foot of the bed, and it's really really dark. I feel like something's in the room with me, and I try slowly inching closer to my light in an attempt to turn it on. After a couple attempts I realise I can't move. So I close my eyes tightly and try to will myself to wake up.

I remember that it has always been a fear of mine to fall asleep and never wake up, and when I open my eyes again, the room is red. Someone's replaced the lightbulb of my bedside lamp with a red tinted one and the whole room looks unbelievably creepy. I start hyperventilating and trying to convince myself that I will wake up soon, but the more I try the creepier the room gets. The walls go red, someone starts laughing, I think back to the scene in 'Insidious' where that goat demon thing is dancing and the music starts up.

I close my eyes once more. Then I wake up.
    9. Graves, CatPelts, Closet Void, Blizzard

      by , 09-13-2011 at 12:41 PM (A's Night Lives)
      1. I was cleaning up a grave yard. Someone had tipped over all the tombstones and I took it upon myself to right them. At some point I also fell into a grave that was half dug open.

      2. I was at a house helping someone with repairs. We came into a room to discover hundreds of cat pelts laying all over the floor. Some still had the heads attached. I had to find out who would do such a terrible thing.

      3. Lucid: Woke at 3:13am, drank, back to bed
Dream started off OBE like. I floated out of my body and into a vertical position before landing on the floor. I began looking through drawers and cupboards with the feeling that something important was waiting to be discovered. A hallway closet was empty, a void. I picked up a shoe and tossed it into the void. It disappeared into the darkness. I don't hear it land anywhere. I decide to just do it and jump in. But I didn't fall down. I fell forward and horizontally into the blackness. I keep falling and I do not recall if I fell into a new dream or if I might have awakened.

      4. I was outside when a vicious blizzard decides to strike. I can't even see a foot ahead of myself. When the blizzard finally dies down I am surrounded by giant snow drifts. Shapes adorn the drifts. Some are just hand prints. Others are names. One is a large heart that is a message to me. I can't remember the message but I stomped through the snow to write a message back that said, "I know. See you soon." I then tried to find my way to shelter.
    10. The Camping Ground - 34th Lucid

      by , 09-13-2011 at 12:01 PM (Dark_Merlin's Dream Journal)
The dream begins in the bush with dad. We just got out of a car at the edge of a new camping ground. It is small, rounded and at the edge of the ground the tree line begins, and continues on into the forest. There is a very large kangaroo a few meters away from us, looking over occasionally. It is after mid-day and the sun is shining through the trees, creating a beautiful dappled afternoon and a joyous feeling as we arrive.

Dad starts commenting about the camping ground. "Gee, this is pretty ugly. I thought it'd be bigger." I have memories of this place, perhaps from a previous dream or the terrain was created from a memory of bush land. I think it's absolutely beautiful, but I just talk along with Dad anyway. "It's a bit small I guess", for most of this time my eyes have been glued to the kangaroo, who is still standing around and un-afraid of our presence. To the left, there are two people sitting around some sort of camp-fire, I catch them in my peripheral vision as they stand and say "It's nice once you get used to it". Dad makes a comment about how he could take out the roo with a shotgun, and is now standing at a table where the car was parked, looking at a long box which contained a shotgun.

Memory jumps a little here, but I assume the two people start taking us in to a large wooden cabin. We walk through a door on the left side of the building, the inside is a large hall space. A boy from school I don't often talk to - Max - walks up to me, and the first thing he says to me is "You're dreaming, you know?"
"Oh, I am?" I wasn't quite sure - everything seemed very realistic and I hadn't realised till now the strange dream-like feeling. I could tell before I had RC'd, but I did it anyway, and plugged my nose and breathed in. Awesome!

I turn to him, start rubbing my hands together to stabilise, and with the situation at hand I take the opportunity to ask a question, directed at the dream character but aimed to get an answer from my subconscious, I look him straight in the eyes.
"How come this doesn't happen more often?"
      "Huh?"
"How come you don't normally tell me when I'm dreaming?"
"Oh, you know, uh.." He was really unresponsive.
      "Is it an effort thing?"
I can't remember if he replied or the dream skipped, but he ended up saying
"You know, where I'm from there's this trick with water-"
and instantly I remembered - Yes! My goals! The ToTM!
      "Thank you!"

I start walking backwards out of the building, and think "When I turn around, there will be water." I pictured a lake, or a large, clear puddle behind me. When I turned, there was a few trees in front of a clearing, where there was a murky, muddy puddle. I walked towards it, saying in my head "I am walking to the water" over and over.

I stood infront of the puddle, facing towards the cabin. I stepped, trying to stand on the water and my foot simply planted straight into it. Hm. I tried both feet and failed. I believe I could have tried to lift myself out of the water after having both feet in, but I can't remember it completely and I'm not going to count it as complete. When I was done, I stood infront of the puddle again - this time for the advanced task. I started with water bending - something I've done completely naturally in a lucid dream before - but now I was thinking about it. I try and raise the water in a stream, using my hands to guide it up. It doesn't work, but I somehow make a splash in the puddle, and increase the effort and concentration I'm putting into the telekenesis. The murky water collects into one ball at eye level, gently swirling around while I increase the intensity to gather more water.

People started to gather and I realised I needed to control two elements, and not just water. While holding the ball of water in the air, I focus on the ground and try and raise up the dirt in columns - it doesn't work. Okay, wind! I start yelling, louder and louder as they do in Dragon Ball Z, feeling as I draw in more energy. The last time I did this in a dream I woke up just before I was finished and I didn't want that to happen again so I stopped increasing the volume. Loads of people were standing around me now - one was filming. I could see the wind blowing around me but I couldn't feel it yet - and the dream was starting to fade! I put all my effort in and felt the air rushing forwards against my back - success!

I woke up into a False Awakening, hearing an occasional dull buzzing noise. I presumed it was my phone, and turned to find out I had fallen asleep in bed on IRC with my netbook. I had been added to a private channel with ShockWave, Raspberry and a few new members I didn't recognise - I was also using webchat. I closed the windows and had a sudden panic that the lucid hadn't saved in the word document! (Which I never typed.) I woke up, as I went to check for the document, and started writing the dream out.
    11. LUCID: Stuck

by , 09-13-2011 at 10:08 AM (The Dream Magic Experiment)
State: Almost 5 pm, humid, and I can hear a CEP audio, and the TV from afar.

I was completely awake. I had just been dreaming a few minutes ago, and then now I can "see through the eyelids." I can see the mirror, the walls, the windows (which was open, and there are tall grasses visible beyond it, but in reality, it's closed, and there are no grasses behind it).

I can also see my right hand. I tried moving it, and I felt it rise, but I can see my right hand and arm stay put. I thought I was probably almost astral traveling. I moved my head, twisting it, to get out of the body, together with my arms and torso. I then vaguely saw my face, so close to mine, but shaven. I felt like an outgrowth trying to cut itself off from the body. It was very hard.

I finally got out, but I no longer see my body on the bed. And I'm in a different room. My view was very hazy, and I can see a cabinet/divider in the room. I am across the bed in the room. There's a door to the outside behind me (there's no door to the outside in my room). I rubbed my hands together to stay more lucid, and I commanded "clarity." Nothing happened. I saw my bed (different color, size, etc.), and a glimpse of my "body," and I'm back in my body.

I almost woke up, but somehow, something clicked in my mind, and I'm in the middle state between waking up and asleep once more. I thought I was really awake this time. I still can't move my body, but I can still feel moving my "astral arms."

After a short while, though, I just decided to close my eyes, and I "opened" them up again. Still same problem. I started to get anxious. I worried "What if I can't wake up from this?"

I closed my eyes again, for a longer time, and I sensed another click or pop in my mind, and I knew I was "awake." I opened my eyes. It looks the same, but a little different. I didn't dare try moving my hands, afraid that I'm still stuck. After a while, I moved, and it moved. I'm awake.

    12. Sharing with Silas, Smoke-A-"Ton" 2011

      by , 09-13-2011 at 08:29 AM
      non-lucid - Notes - lucid

13-09-11 I am lying in my bed and I can hear Silas talking to someone, a dream entitiy. For some reason I think he is talking about a location I know and that he is part of IOSDP. I keep thinking windmill, which is then repeated by the dream entity and he talks about bikes as well. I think I know the location he is talking about so I think hard about Vesterguard, and this is eventually repeated by the dream entity as well, first as guard and then the full name.

Not sure if the above section was a FA or HH → pre REM dreaming.

I am lucid and the dream starts forming. I am in the sea, swimming around unable to get to shore, know I am dreaming, but my vision is blurry and I have limited control. I see light in the horizon out over the water and what would be a sea port town. I eventually stabilise the dream through breathing.

I am waiting for Silas or ”Crusher” (definitely a name with a C, though I will refer to him as Silas from now on) or whatever to get out of the water. I decide to finish off the TotM tasks. Walking on water was simple enough have, but I have to try a bit harder to pull out a ball of water from the ocean mentally, the water keeps rippling where I try and pull out the ball, and sling it maybe 20 metre in a forward arch (this is what I tried to do in the first lucid I had, but got interrupted).

Silas comes into shore and I take him to the place I thought was the place, but it turns out he doesn't recognise it it. We talk a bit about us both being new to this whole IOSDP thing and that we will just continue marching on writing down our stuff and trying to meet.

Silas takes off and I try and do a cool back flip onto a little hut, that turns into a chest in my grand father's house, albeit a very tall chest and the back flip is sub par. I jump down and someone is using a crowbar to tear through a thin wall.

”We have nearly destroyed my grand mother's house” I say, think to either Silas or the person using the crowbar. I am in the basement and I say ”Well, see you around” and try and fly out, but can't get through the walls or windows, I try and open the windows and now I have the crowbar, they are too small, I try another one and get stuck looking at some girl/woman who I tell I have been playing around and stuff. She tells me I have been playing with (don't recall name) a baby girl, because apparently I have colour in my face.

Notes: Though lucid the entire time even with access to waking memory (cf. The TotM tasks) I don't realise that I am talking to Silas, a TV show character and treat him as a member of the IOSDP. Aside from that the control I had in this dream was horrible apart from the TotM stuff.

I am in possession of copious amounts of weed, bags that would indicate in the kilos. This particular theme is recurring over what I believe to be a series of dreams. But it is all very fragmented.

I get back from a party and I am pretty pissed, I think I try and skin up without much success.

I pick up some weed somewhere and bring it to a friends house, which results in the house getting raided as I bought it of the mum of the girl I was visiting and the dealer didn't want weed around her daughter.

I run into an old female friend of mine from way back, who explains that they have gone out to town recently where they brought “the other Rasmus” and Sisse and they ended up hooking up and having sex. I was surprised to find that this actually hurt considering it was 8 years ago and that I was only with her for 3 months approximately.

I return to the first girl's house where I find that the weed I brought the night before is still there. I start making a roach and look for paper. I have some in my pocket, but it is all crumbled up and I am unsure if the clue will stick. Doesn't matter in the end I find some on the table. The roach becomes really weird and some woman calls me from downstairs before I can roll a spliff.

I am talking to a friend who have found a stash of wed of maybe 3 kilos. He is talking about how it is located in a residential area and he has seen it quite some times just lying there. He argues we could make some profit of it by starting to sell a bit.

We are under a bridge with graffiti on the wall and in a room which looks sterilised and metallic, though shaped like a container on the inside. This is where the aforementioned 3 kilos of weed is. We get busted and try and explain that we could sell for the dealer, but he doesn't care explains that he deals in larger lumps and as far as he is aware all we do is owe him and eights.

In a sauna/steam room with a lot of men and I am about to fight my dad. I keep placing well placed uppercuts. He warns me that he will get going soon, there isn't a lot of room to move and I am afraid of bumping into other naked men.

Kaiser complementing my new jacket and informing me that he will start shopping in second hand shops as well.
    13. 9/12/2011 - Lucid in a bathroom

      by , 09-13-2011 at 04:27 AM (TheNinja's Dream Journal)
Dream 1 (dreamtime: approx 5-7 minutes):
I knock on an apartment door. I am on maybe the third or second story. Some shouts, "come in, I'm in the shower!" I take a left once inside and try to peek into another bathroom because I think I hear my friend in there, but I have trouble doing so, and instead I empty my bladder in some rather nice looking green toilet( like you might find in a major airport). Then I realize I'm dreaming because the lady who invited me in is singing and saying random stuff in the shower. The scene changes to my room, and I try to look around, but it is as if my eyelids are half glued shut and my eyes won't focus. I collapse on my bed, wondering how to solve this problem. I lift my head an inch, but move my actual head instead, waking me up.

    15. Totm attempts / Hibiscus girl / Destiny

      by
      Hyu
      , 09-13-2011 at 02:51 AM (Hyu's Adventures)
I wasn't really able to write these down until now, I just had lots of things to do.
I have noticed that my dream recall has been acting a bit weird over the past few days.
I just seem to remember a ton of dreams, though most of them are very vague and fragmented.
My dreams don't seem to be more vivid or any longer though, so I'm not really sure if it's "better".
Nevertheless it feels weird remembering like ~10 different fragments a day.
These are a few interesting ones.

      Totm Attempt #1: Butterfly
I WILD during an afternoon nap, trying to complete the Totm.
I'm quite confident that I'll manage to succeed on the first try.

My dream starts on "the beach".
For some reason some of my WILD's randomly seem to start out on this beach.
It always looks the same, and it is always dusk.
I remember the Totm and approach the water in order to walk on it.
This is going to be easy I have done this many times before.

But as I approach the beach I suddenly spot a butterfly.
It is extremely colorful, with very colorful and vivid patterns on its wings.
      It's emitting glowing particles.
I follow it, intrigued as to where it is going and completely forget about the Totm.

      Totm Attempt #2:
I have another dream of being lost in an unknown hotel.
I become lucid and remember the Totm.
The dream is unstable and I'm not thinking very clearly.
Instead of stabilizing, I start running around aimlessly, attempting to find a water surface.
The dream quickly fades to black and ends.

      The hibiscus girl:
I had another dream about the hibiscus girl: Another mysterious woman / Emotional and sensory overload - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views
Unfortunately my recall of it is quite bad.

This time we are on the surface of another planet.
She has a red hibiscus attached to her left ear, looking very similar to the one drawn on her bikini last time.
We're having a discussion, I demand to know who she is.
She refuses to tell me though.
It seems clear by now that she is reading my DJ, I'm considering that she might be a DV member.
I make the comment that she has an "unfair advantage" over me, because she's able to read my DJ, yet I know nothing about her.

But she keeps denying my requests, and says that she likes being in control.
I remember that last time she was able to drag me to another place by simply looking into my eyes.
I attempt to do the same thing to her, and manage to drag her to the beach.

This surprises her quite a bit, but it also seems to amuse her.
I say that I never stated that I write everything down in my online DJ, she might be in for a few surprises.
She makes a comment that makes me believe that this is some sort of game to her.
I somehow understand this reasoning though and begin to share it.

      Totm Attempt #3:
I decide to attempt the Totm yet again. I'm determined to complete both tasks.
I do it during an afternoon nap yet again since I had some success last time, except that I got distracted.

Surprisingly, I enter the dream on the beach yet again.
This time I decide to stabilize the dream though, and calm my mind.
I rub my hands and slowly approach the sea.
I feel the sand beneath my toes. It's still moderately warm.

For some reason I'm a bit nervous as I start walking on the water surface.
Oddly enough I seem to be afraid to fail, even though I've done it many times before.
      Fortunately, it works flawlessly.
I walk on the water, deeper into the sea with my arms stretched out for additional balance.

Alright, so far so good, controlling elements is next.
I look at my right hand and make it catch on fire.
This is quite straightforwards as I have manipulated fire many times before.
But what other element could I possibly manipulate?
Water...? No. That's probably too hard.

I create an arc of lightning between two of my fingers.
I think that I have completed the Totm for a moment, but then realize that lighting isn't exactly one of the 4 elements.
What were the other ones again?
Fire, Water... Earth? I wouldn't know what to do with earth...
      Wind it is.

I compress some of the air around me into my right fist and release it forwards.
This creates a shock and air is propelled forwards.
The pressure upsets the water surface.

I'm not really satisfied with the result though.
I do the same thing again, this time compressing much more air.
This time it creates a small tornado, that runs flat over the water surface.
It lifts some of it up and sprays it all over the place.

I'm quite satisfied, and happy that I managed to complete both tasks within a single dream.
I decide to dive into the sea to see if I'll find something interesting, but it doesn't take long until I wake up.

      Destiny:
After a long time, I've started having dream fragments of "Destiny" yet again: Recurring dream about a spaceship mission to find extraterrestrial life. - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views
None of them drove "the plot" forward though.
I was always on board the Destiny completing a random task.
My memories of the dream fragments are quite vague.
