    1. Reconciliation Hour

      by , 04-24-2013 at 01:04 PM
This was a very long dream / lucid dream series, going on for at least 45 minutes to an hour. I lost lucidity early on and regained it, so the first part of the dream is extremely scrambled. Also, a little background on one portion: I recently found out that Wife thinks lucid dreaming is more or less a waste of time. I was disappointed by this and concerned about what her DC might be like in future dream appearances.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #88: Reconciliation Hour

I'm in a lucid dream where I'm in a current of strong running water. I'm taking things easy, reminding myself to be more patient in life. I have a false awakening into a completely rearranged version of my house, downstairs. I hunt around for my dream journal... there it is, on the counter! I reach for it and as I grab it, my friend The Schwartz walks up and asks, "Hey, whatcha doing?"

"Hang on, [The Schwartz], I've gotta get these dreams written down. My dream memory is good for like 3 seconds. If I think about anything else, it'll all go away." I feel my dream memories leaking out of my ears. (Figuratively.) He looks a little hurt and I remember that the message of the dream I just finished was to be more patient. "Sorry, man. I know I'm not as patient as I should be sometimes. My dream was about getting better at that. You were even in it."
(I assume this is true but no longer have any memory of it.)

I crouch down by a coffee table and get ready to write. Just then a full-sized poodle noses aggressively toward me. "Hey puppy," I say, reaching out to pet it. The dog turns away, totally snubbing me, circles around behind me, and then bites me hard on the butt. Another dog, a German shepherd joins the poodle and behind them I see my real two dogs (Siberian Huskies) lying on the carpet, panting.

"[Wife]!!" I wail, going into the kitchen. "Why do we have four freaking dogs in this house now? Wasn't two bad enough?"

Wife is in the kitchen cooking huge pans of a strange, purplish, bubbling yogurt conconction with her mom. "Oh, those belong to sissy and [brother-in-law Muppet]. We're just taking care of them." I grumble at this but sit down to journal. All but the last 2 pages of the DJ are filled, and the last entry is really hard to read. It says something about 139 pounds, but everything else is blurry and shifty. I demand proof that I'm not dreaming and
      become lucid.

"Hey, [Wife]," I say. "I'm having a lucid dream."

"Cool!" she responds. "Why don't we go to the park?" And then we're someplace else, holding hands and walking outside along a broad, grassy path with a great number of other people. We trudge past a flooded parking lot and the steel-toed boots I'm apparently wearing are soaked through. I'm annoyed at first, then remember that I can just fix it -- I do.

After walking for a long while, we get to a playground. The playground is a sort of cross between a playground and a petting zoo because all sorts of little animals like sheep and pigs are playing on the equipment as well, mingling with the kids. Our two kids (who weren't in the scene before) streak past us and join in the playing. My oldest son E sort of sits on another boy and I cringe, worrying that there might be some sort of confrontation. All is well, though, and everyone plays happily.

We do this for a while and then wander various paths in the park, the kids coming and going. There's an indoor scene as well where our son E gets to take a class and writes on the blackboard (something he can't do all that well IWL yet.)

Eventually we return home and put E to bed, except he's sleeping in a crib for some reason now. I'm happy, the way I feel after a great day out with the family. I keep looking at my hands as we put him to bed, reminding myself that I'm dreaming. Each time I do, I seem to grow an extra finger. The extra fingers even work pretty well although it seems to take extra special effort to move the "new" fingers vs. the old ones. By the end, my right hand has nine fingers.

As we leave his room, I show my freaky alien-looking hand to Wife and she laughs, saying, "That's awesome." I laugh too, peeling the extra fingers off like a glove and tossing it into the corner of a room where it lands with a rubbery thump. The fingers transform into a brightly-colored kerchief.

I say, "You know, I wish you felt differently about lucid dreaming."
(IWL, Wife expressed that she thinks lucid dreaming is pretty much a waste of time.)

"I love that you have these dreams," she says, smiling.

I'm confused. "But you pretty much told me that this was a waste of time." She looks away, her smile fading. Then it hits me how caught up I am in confusing fantasy and reality, even while lucid. "Sorry. I forgot. Here and now."

She smiles again and turns to leave the room. I check her out as she's walking away. "Not gonna happen..." she says, without turning around, and bounds out of the room. I follow as the dream fades...

    2. Running Away + Rocket and Getting Flipped

      by , 04-23-2013 at 09:01 PM
I was thinkig about being an astronaut, then I asked a guy "How does a rocket land"? He didn't answer because I didn't know. (I forgot) Then all of a sudden, I appeared in a rocket. Before I can do anything, the rocket launched. It went so fast, I looked up, everything I saw was red. When I woke up, my head hurt..

I was walking down a stone built floor, then all of a sudden some person with dirty blond hair asks me: "Are you stupid"? I replied "586" and ran off... I ran into my schools gym but I stopped cause there were parents swarming everywhere, sonI ran into some other part of my school and I saw my mom just standing there.

I was standing in the school yard with some girl I for some reason didn't recognize her face, she grabbed my hand and just flipped me. I was lying on the floor, I looked up at her and she was just smiling at me.
    3. Lucidity test drive

      by , 04-23-2013 at 07:15 PM
Today I tried to perform a WILD. I went to bed around 12 AM and set my alarm for 6 AM. I woke up, went to the bathroom and then went back to lie down. I entered my dream semi-lucid.

I find myself entering my room. For some reason my dream self decides to hide in my closet. At that point I think to myself: "If I get out of my closet and see myself lying in bed, that must mean that I am dreaming!". I get out of the closet and indeed, I find myself lying in bed. This is I believe the third time I've seen myself lying in bed in my dreams, yet it never feels odd or strange. Anyway, at this point I become fully lucid.

Everything suddenly becomes much clearer, and I notice all lights are turned off and it's dark outside. I remember that I want to stay lucid for longer than an instant and touch the wall of my bedroom to feel the texture. After that I start spinning around, since I read everywhere that that is a good way to stabilize a dream. Now the dream has been stabilized I decide to test the extent of my lucid control by seeing how far I can walk from my house before completely losing lucidity. I don't bother changing clothes and walk out of the house in my sleep attire. Once outside, I notice my clothes have automatically adapted to the situation, because now I'm wearing jeans and a shirt. It's not dark anymore and I start walking. To my right there are some children with broken bycicles and they run towards me, claiming I had promised to fix at least two of their bikes for them. I realise it's just a dream and that these kids are preventing me from starting my mission and just walk away, since they're only dream kids anyway. About 50 m away from my house the dream tries to take over and I become semi-lucid again.

My father and an unknown friend of his are walking with me, and I guess we're talking about those kids with the bikes from earlier, because we spot a rack with three bikes in them, of which two are all rusted and broken. I guess these were the two bikes I had to fix. I notice that I'm semi-lucid and I remembered to stabilize. There were some brick houses nearby and I walked up to one. I touched the walls and felt their texture, and after that I decided what the hell, I'll lick it(I did this on purpose, because I read that licking or tasting something in your dream helps to stabilize it and I knew it was also a ToTM). I regain complete lucidity after this.

I'm happy I regained lucidity and continue my walk, leaving my father and his unknown friend behind me. As I walk further and further, I notice that the only people I see are women, and they're almost always on bikes(I guess bikes played a big role in this dream ). They all look at me as if they're mad at me for something. Walking further I realise it has become dark really fast, while I have only walked about 200 m. The further I get, the darker it gets, and also the eerier the surroundings. It still looks like my neighboorhood streetwise, but I see a woman standing approximately 50 m away to the northwest, and behind her I see a really dark tank, like those used in the army. Beyond this point lucidity escapes me and the dream takes over.

I don't remember what happened next. From what I can tell I think I walked a total of 400 m. Next time I will find my Dream Guide/Subconscious. I have some questions for him/her.

    4. A Visit To The DreamWorld Academy

      by , 04-23-2013 at 04:59 PM
I've been working on the reopening of the DreamWorld Academy section of the forum and I guess it has influenced me. :)

I'm standing on a balcony overlooking a moderately wide castle room below me where my friends stand in front of a large fireplace. The walls and floor of the room and the balcony I'm standing on are all made of large blocks of worn, gray stone. The room is warmly lit by candles and some other unseen source but no fire burns in the empty fireplace.
The walls are sparsely decorated with a few key paintings and tapestries. The room has a couple small tables near the walls and one larger table in the middle of the room, complete with an oil lamp and some nondescript items on the table. Above the fireplace is an engraving noting the lineage of the DreamWorld Academy but the few words are not written in English.
As is common in my dreams I have a mixture of celebrities and animated characters as my acquaintances. Tom Cruise is dressed like some kind of ranger, Barry (the fat kid on American Dad) is looking smarter than usual, and an Asian schoolgirl with dark hair and the typical short skirt stands off to the side looking meek but capable. Tom Cruise is holding a long, wooden staff at his side.
Without warning the floor around the fireplace begins to rotate on a pivot, revealing a new chamber behind the fireplace. Barry and the Asian girl step off the rotating floor but Tom Cruise quickly examines the situation and drops his staff to prevent the panel from completely rotating and cutting off the group's entry.
A distant light-source is visible from the next chamber and the light appears as though it does not come from a source of warmth. The light appears cold and bright, almost ethereal but not wavering. Just as everyone turns to look in that direction to see the interior of the room...the dream ends.

It's a good first visit. I plan to try and incubate future visits.
    5. WILD, got stuck on the balcony

      by , 04-23-2013 at 04:32 PM
Our guests woke me up again, I spent about an hour trying to fall asleep, my mind was way too awake, and when I finally fell asleep I got into some WILD/OBE thing where I couldn’t move much.

      Total sleep time: 6 hrs

HI dreamlet1: Some woman, her face was colored black with something like tar. She lives in the woods, in a hole under the trees. A scary story begins about the holes in the woods.

HI dreamlet2: I am an unknown street most likely in my home town, have different hairstyle

Dream3 WILD/OBE: I am in my hometown again, in front of me are my guests. I am looking at my hands, some blue pink ghost like double layer is also visible. My hands quickly stretch out, a familiar feeling, they stretch into infinity, space bends and the whole of me is quickly sucked forward. I also feel my dream body detaching. A short moment of darkness follows and then I find myself on our old balcony. It is dark, there is some light perhaps from the moon. I immediately notice my position and feel my dream body. Instead of my feet being on the floor of the balcony, my midsection is where the floor is and my feet are below it. Don’t feel the floor, I notice that my position and state is somewhat similar to when I sometimes meditate – I am physically sitting, but feel the rest of my body is standing. I decide not to pay too much attention to that because I have to stabilize. I run my fingers over the surface of the balcony, very realistic. Everything is rather clear, but I can’t move my legs. I try to but I can’t.

I decide that perhaps I should give my dream body some more time to adapt to the dream. I start rubbing my hands, now my elbows barely move! I decide to wait a bit, but black out for a second, then I am back to the dream still no improvement. I force my limbs to move, and I can feel a great force on them preventing them from moving. I try touching the wall again with my fingertips, but it doesn’t help. I look to my side, towards the end of the balcony and see many plants there, it looks like a small jungle, it is dark and there is a dark hole between the plants. Now, it is definitely not the time to expect something scary to come out of there, I tell myself. I try to be indifferent about it. I then notice that a song is playing “give me my love, give me my love”, a nice song, but then it gets stuck, the same part plays over and over again. I wake up.

Comments and Analysis: I was worried after waking up that I have finally managed to mess myself up and instead of having normal LDs, the more time I spend in the void, the more aware I become of my falling asleep and will begin to get stuck more in the middle. I really hope not! Now, I feel relaxed about the situation, but am sure I will be getting more experiences where I would need to remain calm.

The stretching hands and being pulled forward (not just the two bodies separating) experience plus ghost like layer is something I have seen before and I kind of relate to OBE types of experiences (if these can be differentiated from WILD). I can only say it is a different feeling altogether.

Such continuous dream paralysis is not something completely new, but the only memories I have of it are when I was a very young. I don’t remember getting stuck in the middle of a floor ever.

Some explantion why this happened: I am thinking that the longer time spent in WBTB, the more my mind is aware of my physical body. If I WBTB for 5 min, then I would transition to the dream much faster. An alternative explanation is that I am being increasingly aware of the void and this somehow affects me.

Future strategy: I really have to write a few key words on a piece of paper so that I don’t forget. 1. Patience and detachment. I didn’t panic today, but the situation could have been different. 2. Rubbing hands 3. Try zooming into something else or 4. Try floating up?

    6. Hotel Rooms / Good Elevator, Bad Elevator

by , 04-23-2013 at 05:30 AM (...from the dark corners of my mind...)
      DJ Log: April 12, 2013 – 7:30AM (USA Eastern)
      NON-DREAMNOTESDREAMLUCID

I am in a hotel room and decide to change rooms. I quickly pack up all my bags and leave the hotel room on the first floor and get into the elevator. I fight the door a bit to stay open while I load about 6 or 7 bags into the elevator. Once inside, I see that there are 4 buttons on the control panel. Suddenly, I feel the elevator moving, so I push the “3” button. The elevator stops and I see a “3” on the wall when the door opens.

(Note: This was a notable event, as the elevator actually went to where it was meant to.)

I get off on the floor and drag all my bags with me. I can see my room across the hall and I walk in. The room is pretty shitty. It looks like it has been a smoking room that hasn't been cleaned in like 50 years. The walls are covered in smoke stains and there is black soot growing from all the outlets and switches. I say, “Fuck this, I ain't staying in this room.”

I turn around and walk back out toward the elevator. I see three other rooms which have their door wide open. In one room, there is a guy laying in his bed watching TV. In another, there are a few people sitting on the couch. I get to the elevator and push the button. After a moment, an elevator down the hall dings and the door opens. I try to drag all my bags to the door, but it closes just as I get there. I drag my bags close to the door and push the button again.

The elevator door opens again and I look inside and say, “What the fuck.” Just inside the door is a set of 4 steps that lead into the elevator. I wedge one bag in the door to keep it open, then I carry my bags down the steps and set them on the floor. I pick up my last bag and notice that there are no buttons at all on the elevator panel. I stand there for a second and the elevator starts moving. When it moves, only the middle part of the floor moves. The sides are open like an old industrial elevator. The walls don't move with the floor. It moves for a bit, then it stops and I suddenly wake up.

    7. Skyrim Lucid Dream (3RD LUCID)

      by , 04-23-2013 at 04:19 AM
      22ND APRIL 2013
I fell asleep around 10:30, cause I was paranoid about bedbugs or something idk

I was at school. I set my binder down at a random table near a bike rack and for some reason I realized I had to walk home. I walked home and accidentally left my binder there. When I got 'home' it was this huge mansion that I'd never seen or been in before, but in the dream I just thought it was my home. I went upstairs to my room (which looked exactly like my room in real life. I realized I left my binder at school. I walked back and saw my best friend Brianna. She said, "If you had been at the s'more party this winter we would never have become friends." I guess I had, in fact, been at this "s'more party" and I remembered it. It was nighttime and there was about a half a foot of snow on the rooftops and ground. I vaguely wondered why it was snowing, I never remember it snowing in the three years I've lived in California. Anyway I was on top of the short portable building and there was this random blonde girl I'd never seen before. She was trash talking me and stuff, (can't remember what she said) and then she punched me in the side. I fell in the snow on top of the building. Then there was a burning sensation on the left side of my stomach (It wasn't really painful, just burning.) Somehow I knew the girl was doing it, but I didn't know how. As this was happening I noticed her shirt went above her stomach. She had a tattoo around the same place where I was burning and it looked like one of the little "Parental advisory explicit content" things you see on music albums, except it had different words on it. I wondered what it meant. The girl kicked me, I think in the chin, and cheers erupted from my schoolmates on the snowy ground below. I felt winded from the kick, but no real pain. Then I snapped back into my dream "reality" and walked back home, forgetting my binder AGAIN. When I got home I realized I didn't have my binder. I went back and got it and brought it back home and the dream ended.

      [Dream 2] Lucid
I was in a cave in Skyrim. (I play skyrim way too much, 2/3 of my lucid dreams have been about Skyrim) I was fighting two men and a falmer (goblin sort of thing, for those of you who don't play skyrim.) I killed the first guy with my sword and then I thought, "This is a dream, isn't it?" I was lucid and (I told myself that next time I was lucid I would go on a rampage) went on a rampage. I was holding a shield with sharpened edges so I threw it like a frisbee at the falmer, slicing it in the chest and killing it. Then I thought that I would try out a "dream power" or whatever and I pushed the second guy away with a telekinetic thrust of my right hand and he died. Then I walked into a huge dome shaped chamber. The floor was stone. I decided to grow a tree in it. (Because who can grow a tree in stone?) I imagined it growing out of the floor and then lifted both my hands: a tree grew out of the cracks in the stone. Then I decided to fly. This time I WOULD be able to fly (In my first lucid I tried to fly but couldn't) and so I started flying and flew a little ways. Then the dream faded away.
      [Dream 3] Nonlucid

I had a false awakening. I was at my mom's house in my room (exactly like I was in real life) I forgot to do a reality check. I got up and walked out into the kitchen and saw my Uncle Chris and this other good looking man I didn't really know, but I felt like I knew him. My uncle asked me, smiling, "Jayden, how come you woke up so late?" I looked at the clock and it said "5:41". Maybe If I had checked it again I would have become lucid, but I didn't. Then I woke up to the real world and vaguely wondered why I had woken up twice in a row.
All of my lucid dreams are DILDs.
    8. Swim

      by , 04-22-2013 at 06:29 PM
      4/22/13 -Same dream, varied ending-

I'm in the middle of NY, it's evacuated. Tons of trash rustles about in the wind. I turn around to see what's going on. The sun it bright and blinding, I'm surrounded by abandoned parking garages.

Out of nowhere water begins to rise. The first time I had this dream, I died instantly from drowning. The second time I had this dream, I remembered to swim up and survived.

Now the water recedes and the streets are even filthier than before, debris piled high and I feel hot (temperature).

      -Wake up-
    9. Chained Lucids

      by , 04-22-2013 at 03:58 PM
I just got my Remee sleeping mask yesterday so I tried it out last night and I think it worked, really well.

I can't remember too much but I know I chained like 5 lucids last night. I kept doing a RC on my hands and then having a false awakening, then doing it again.

I remember telling a DC he was dreaming, which he refused to believe. He thought it was "just a humble suburban home". I started screaming it at him but he still wouldn't believe it.

I saw my brother playing on a futuristic keyboard. I tried to use the computer next to him to go on the internet, but it didn't work.

I thought about doing the task of the month but I couldn't remember what it was. Maybe tomorrow I'll get it.
    10. My first lucid dream.

      by , 04-21-2013 at 07:56 PM
I was in school, and remembered immediately that I need to a reality check because my school is one of my dream signs.
I looked at the clock, looked away, and it had changed, I kept doing it, about 3 times, and it kept changing.
Surprisingly, I didn't actually get that excited, so I stayed in the dream.
So, as soon as it hit me that I was dreaming, my vision twirled, and this yellow, Chinese/Korean, text appeared in front of me.
And then immediately, I was back to clear vision again.
I decided to tell one of my teachers I was dreaming and then I was watching her and her husband playing golf, and then I flashed back to where I was in the classroom.
So, I went through the day until I was in a computer suite. I told people I was dreaming, and they just went "Cool." and stuff.
Then I heard someone say "I need some earphones", so I tried to materialize one, it ended up looking like a pencil, but oh well, it was my first time, and he seemed to like it!
I was then at home, on my laptop, and I could hear my Mum, sister, and Dad come through the door, and I immediately had to tell my mum I was in a lucid dream!
When I told her, she started shouting "YOU'RE NOT! YOU ALWAYS DO THIS! YOU'RE SO SELFISH!" etc... and then I woke up.

      -End-
    11. Dark Souls and Skrillex

      by , 04-21-2013 at 07:35 PM (Raven's Roost)
Dark Souls-ish Dream - The Lost Gun

      Genre: Dark Fantasy

      Legnth: Medium

      Lucid Non-Lucid

I am standing in a large central hub of a dark, twisted world. This hub is essentially a gorgeous train station, however it is ancient and crumbling. Vendors of all sorts of goods are set up throughout the train station, and other "players" are scattered around, talking to each other. I stand in front of a bandaged vendor, and from what little skin shows I can tell that he has been horribly burned at some point in his life. He has just improved my favorite gun. A gorgeous, ivory-plated six-shooter, with an extended barrel and runic carvings throughout. Its a classic pistol, flint-lock and like something out of the revolutionary war. I really don't know anything about guns, but somehow I knew plenty in this dream...

I have just spent tons of this universes currency on him improving it, and I am excited to try it out. A "player" - someone that I know is another adventurer and survivor like me - comes to the same vendor, smiling. She has white hair, a reoccuring theme three nights in a row for me. I smile back, and put my gun on the table to pay the vendor. He thanks me for the business in a gravelly, damaged voice, and I reach down for my gun to go test it out.

      Its gone.

Looking around, I see the white haired woman making her way quickly out of the Station, pushing past players and looking about anxiously. That bitch just stole my beloved gun!

I run back and buy another, totally un-upgraded pistol in haste. It will have to do. I holster it next to my musketeer sword, my other weapon, and chase after her. She sees me hot on her tail, and breaks into a run, choosing to go the way of the sewers. As I run after her through the muck - phantoms materialize out of no where in the shape of british red-coat sailors. I fence with them quickly, knocking one blade aside, and putting a few bullets into his back. I leave the other one and run after the thief once more.

I finally catch sight of her as I reach the end of the sewer. Many more red-coats have formed behind me, but I pay them no mind. She enters a door that looks very much like an old schoolhouse door, and I crash in after her.

      The Schoolhouse and Skrillex

As I crash into the door, I find myself in a gutted school room, also looking dusty and ancient. My girlfriend is asleep on one of the beds, and I actually notice that it seems to be more of an infirmary than anything, though I know she isn't sick. I forget my quest for the gun instantly, and I lay down to go to sleep. Before I can, there is a knock on the door, and a girl I recognize from my college campus asks if her and her friend can come sleep because of some strange situation I can't remember. My girlfriend shrugs so I say yes, and she proceeds to bring about thirty people into our room.

      So much for one friend?

One of the kids begins to play a Skrillex song (a dubstep music artist), and I tell him that I have some nice speakers in my room (which I do). I take his iPod and then realize that the remix of the Skrillex song doesn't actually exist... Wait... Is this a dream? I think to myself, as my alarm goes off.

Phew! That dream was a doozie, and I was ALMOST LUCID! Gahhh. I think I was way too tired to lucid dream though, as I was already starting to fall asleep at 9PM and ended up finally going to bed at 1:30AM

      More to come tomorrow!
    12. Lucid and Singing at 7-11 - 04/21/2013

      by , 04-21-2013 at 06:39 PM
I'm not usually one to sing around people, at least not on my own, so when I found myself in the middle of a 7-11 singing along with the overhead music I became lucid. It's not uncommon for me to have music in my dream or sing inside my mind while in the grocery store but this is a new treat for me in a lucid dream and I go with it.

The song I'm singing is All-Star by Smash Mouth, not my first choice for a musical number but apparently easy to remember. As I begin singing I start walking around the aisle, checking out my control and it occurs to me that I should make the most of this neat scene. I have always wanted a musical number in my dream and now I have one.

As I finish the first stanza I slightly raise my arms and the dozen-plus people in the store all stop in place, shopping baskets in hand, and begin singing the chorus. It sounds really cool and I'm totally digging on making this happen.

"All that glitters is goooolllddd! Only shootings stars break the mold!"

I continue singing and I'm even impressed I can recall the words so easily. the novelty of singing in a dream isn't wearing off though I find I'm not so keen on my voice as the solo participant. Still, I keep singing as I slowly walk among the stock-still shoppers.

"It's a cold place, and they say it gets colder
You're bundled up now, wait 'til you get older
But the media-men beg to differ
Judging by the hole in the satellite picture."

"The ice we skate is getting pretty thin
The water's getting warm so you might as well swim
My world's on fire, how 'bout yours?
That's the way I like it and I'll never get bored."

And again the people erupt into song and I'm thankful to blend in with the harmony.

      "Hey now, you're a rock-star
Get the show on, get paid..."

I don't know any of these people but it's funny watching them standing there like an awkward music video.

      "All that glitters is gooolllddd!"

As they sing this part they raise their arms in the air and wiggle their fingers for emphasis. I can't help but smile. :)

"Only shooting stars break the mo-o-ollld!"

The song ends and I'm slightly glad the pressure is off. My throat feels dry and scratchy and I wake up, still smiling and feeling happy.

      I'm an All-Star! :D

    13. Saving my little sister

      by , 04-21-2013 at 06:28 PM
My memory of the dream starts from the point where I'm walking down a street in my neighbourhood and I notice some people yelling near the block my house is on. I come closer and I see 3 guys wearing skimasks running around, I think they were trying to steal something from one of the nearby shops when probably they were noticed. Not especially odd, since they were stealing literally in broad daylight.

Apparently my little sister, and I believe one of my older sisters, are with me and one of the criminals managed to get his hand on my little sister to use as hostage. He held a gun to her and threatened to shoot her if anyone would try to get near them. As soon as I saw a gun pointed at my defenseless sister as she was being used by those pieces of scum, I felt some kind of fearless strength suddenly rising within me extremely fast and I knew I was going to save her no matter what.

There were three guys, one was holding my sister and the other two were frantically running around him. I spotted an opening when the guy holding my sister aimed his gun at someone else and I ran for him, knocked him over and ran away with my sister running on front of me, so I could take any shots aimed at her with my body. All three of them start shooting at us, and as we were almost around the corner of the builings one bullet grazed her arm and I took a bullet to my back and my left arm.

We escaped the robbers, or whatever criminals they were, and now we were in a room much like my bedroom. My sister is lying down and she is happy I saved her. I am standing and I just can't seem to shake the feeling that even though we made it, she got hurt in the process, and that I should have prevented it. I know we're in a house where my parents and other sisters are as well and decide to go out of the room to do something, I don't know exactly what. At this point my memory of the dream stops.

I woke up shortly after this dream and it left me feeling a bit sad for about 10 seconds or so, which is extremely long for me. I guess this dream did a number on me

    14. 21st Apr 2013 WILDing in the dream again, Abstract shmup, Dragon, False Awakenings

by , 04-21-2013 at 12:10 PM (Scionox's Journal of Dreams)
      Dream recall from today's nap.

I was at home, and i decided to do some WILD attempts, the room looked completely different but i didn't noticed. For some reason i was trying to do WILD in the uncomfortable corner of the bed, i noticed that and moved to the better position.
Then dream skipped and i was going through some greyish town ruins and there were some zombies that i was shooting.
After a while i was back at home and i was playing some abstract shmup. It was in the space and there were energy platforms floating around, enemy was attacking with spaceships and there were also tanks at the platforms. And out of everything that shmup was using Hellsinker OST for the music. I got through a couple of levels, each of which was ending with an boss fight versus some big abstract spaceship.
But after i have done that game suddenly not just switched to the first person, but i was actually in the game. I was walking down an spiral set of the dark red spiral stairs, descending into the darkness. It was deep underground. Soon i have reached some kind of island, floating in the middle of the darkness. At the island there were ruins of the castle and a few more buildings. I crossed the bridge, and music started playing. As music was catching on, glowing white dragon flew out of the darkness and stopped above the island. Shortly dragon became darker and he started talking about something(can't recall what), shortly i recalled
one of my dream goals and realized that i am dreaming, but before i could do anything, some force started attracted us together, and everything went pitch black. I feel weird sensation, like my body was changing in some way or getting fused with, but shortly everything stopped.
I woke up but the room looks different so i am still dreaming, i get up and rub hands but dream fades out again.
I wake up once again and it's daytime, i look at my hands, 5 fingers on the right, 3 fingers on the left, then suddenly back to 5 on the left. Balcony door was blocked by some garbage, so i decide to do small trick with the window nearby. I go backwards through it while expecting it to disappear and as i start falling backwards i notice that window is not there anymore. I feel the wings and fly around while randomly shouting commands for transformation and doing visualization(And completely forgetting how to do it properly ), i get my hands to slightly change, but once i look back at them they change back. I even try visualizing that dragon from before but no dice. After a while dream fades out and i wake up properly.
    15. Clay Sculpting Mastery, Toy Plane Exploration

by , 04-20-2013 at 08:58 PM (SuperSN's Journal of Eclectic Dreams)
      Fragment:
Django from Django Unchained came to his original plantation and started killing all his captors, just like in the movie.

      Dream 1:

The first I can remember of the dream is me looking down on a meditation group from a floor above. All of them were sitting in what looked like a habitat for an animal at a zoo. There were waterworks, stones, grass, very natural things, but it was enclosed by a 2 foot high wall. After a sort time of me observing their meditation, a man in a black polo and khakis starting putting up tan tarps held up by poles. I went down a floor and asked the man what was going on. He told me the meditation session was over, and he was covering the area. I turned around and saw two friends of mine, both fathers. The one who I am more acquainted with, Dave, started talking to me. I can't remember what he said, but he pointed to a door to what looked like a closet and told me to take a shower in there.

The room was perfectly square. There was tan tile on the floor, a shower head coming out of the middle of the ceiling, and a receptacle for towels on the left side of the room (from coming in the door). I stripped my clothes, apparently tan cargo shorts as well, and hung them on the wall. I proceeded to take a shower, but I inadvertently seemed to be getting water all over my clothes and the towels. I got pretty miffed, and I managed to get the water under control. I also decided now would be a good time to masturbate. I came buckets, twice. I turned off the shower, got a towel on, and saw a secret door in the back corner of the room. I cracked the door open just slightly, and saw a long room with tons of stuff with clay. Clay sculptures, clay pottery, clay dioramas. There was even a clay puppet of sorts, moving in the same motion over and over again. It was propelled by nothing more than some carefully placed metal plates to direct it's movement. As far as I could tell, it was moving from the momentum of it's previous movements.

I walked in the room and ogled at all the art. Dave came in and started commenting on his work. As with before, either I couldn't remember what he said, or I didn't care. After a few sentences from him, he took me by my shoulder and walked me over to a chalkboard. He drew 2 circles, and populated them with various different things. He asked me to draw a circle and do as he did. I attempted to craw a circle, but it was horrible. He laughed and laughed at my oval/circle. I erased it, and tried again, but he only laughed harder. I did this a few times before I woke up.

      Dream 2:

Me and my brother were flying in a small plane fit for two. He was currently driving. He made a comment about how he couldn't fly very long stretches, and landed down in front of a visitor's rest stop with a fast food restaurant in it. We went in, and sat at a table. He told me to take the plane and find Miami Beach, and to report back on where it was. I've never been to Miami Beach. As he went to the restroom, I headed out of the building to see that the plane, previously normal-sized, was now vastly different. It looked to be a tiny green toy plane, like something you'd see on a playground, like those animals with springs under them. I didn't seem to be confused though. I straddled the green wooden wingless contraption and, as luck would have it, it started to fly. Since there were no controls or anything, and it was about the length of me, I had to control the plane with my own body weight. To turn, I tilted my body in the direction I wanted to go. To speed up, I tilted my body forward, and to slow down the opposite.

Even though the plane wasn't very fast, quite slow in fact, I was out of the (literal) woods and close to the beach in no time. I came across a sandy trail, with lots of snakes in a 3 foot area. Derryl from The Office was on the trail. I hovered next to him and asked him how to get to Miami Beach, to which he replied through the trail that snakes currently were in. He made some ballsy moves to get through the snakes, and never looked back. Deciding I couldn't or wouldn't go through the snakes and completely forgetting that I had a plane, I flew away from the trail. Eventually I made it to the beach, which was surprisingly thin but still highly populated. Lincoln Log-esque buildings, green roofs and all, lined the beach all the way down. The tiny bit of sand left not occupied by buildings was dotted by people enjoying their time by the sea. Most striking however, was the fact that there were many more of my type of planes flying around the beach. As I was flying through the beach, a woman in her thirties flew up next to me with the same exact plane, and unintentionally copied all my movements She seemed to be enjoying it, but I slowed down and let her pass me.

I flew inside a hotel's lobby that was open to the beach and large. There were children in swimsuits playing in fountains, there were gift shops, and heavy set men buying commemorative T-shirts. After being satisfied with my people-watching, I flew out of the hotel.

There was a but more to this dream involving canyons, scientists, and rare geometric poisonous insects, but I'll just say that flying in the little green plane has been one of the nicer dreams I've ever had.
