Nightmares
I was in school, inside an office. I was there with my mother and younger sister, and we were waiting for som papers. We finally got them, left the school and entered our car. We drove around the crowded streets. There were so many pedestrains that moving with car was almost impossible. A few times I could see two girls from my class. We finally drove away from the city to a countryside. We stopped at a gas station and entered it. It was really crowded, and suddenly everyone started to fight. I tried to hide myself from them, and then suddenly all of them disappeared. My family was gone too, and there was only a dude that drowned in a sink inside the building. I had a bad feeling walking there, I felt like he was watching me all the time. I moved, keeping my eye on him, and saw that his eyes followed me. I said "Don't stare at me!", grabbed his head and moved it away so he couldn't stare at me. But he was moving to his previous position all the time. I decided that this is the best moment to leave this accursed place. There was an alley in between two houses. It led to nearest city, so I followed it. But it was strange too, as running all the time I've never changed my position, and it looked like reality stretched itself to stop me. I was running until everything became black. I regain vision on the road, in front my houses front yard. Suddenly I realised that I'm dreaming. Everything became dark again. I started to fly up from any danger, and tried to make everything bright again. I felt really light and I was floating up without any effort, but I couldn't move down or fly forward. Everything became brighter, taking colours from gray, to yellow and red. Then the red colour disappeared. I was in that gas station, but it was moved inside a strange undrground complex. It looked like it was long abandoned, there was an ankle depth water that was slowly raising. I was lying in my bed. Suddenly I heard someone banging on the door on the upper floor. I looked up, and saw that drowners run into the room. Still lying in my bed, I was surrounded by them. I looked closely to one of them - gray, rotting skin and sunken, bloody eyes. They were waiting for a move from my side. I told "I'm dreaming. You are not real." I tried to phase my hand through stomach of one them, but I couldn't do it. All I did was touch his dead, cold belly. I decided to fight with them, and grabbed one of them by throat. Seeing that he can't die of suffocation, I just smashed his head until he stopped moving. The other one died the same way. The water was still raising, it was about knee depth. I moved out to a corridoor, and I was swarmed by zombies and drowners. It was hard to fight with them, so I ran around and tried to kill them one by one. For some reason I didn't have good dream control. Suddenly I heard an alarm, and a huge floodgate opened. The water was flowing rapidly out of it. It was contaminated with blood, chunks of rotten flesh and vomit. It formed a disguting soup. I have almost panicked, running around a sealed, flooding complex infested with drowners and zombies. I have lost lucidity and assumed a role of observer. A man entered the corridoor from upped sections of the complex. He was wearing a white jacket and jeans trousers. He was well built and had bright hair. His weapon was most interesting - a plasma gun. He quickly shot out all the drowners and zombies, then got to the control room. Everything turned black, and then I saw a close up of the man's dead face. He had gray skin and sunken, bloody eyes. Then I saw that the floodgate has been closed. Next I floated up to the surface and then to the sky, watching a lake from the top view. Then I heard "There were only two survivors."
This morning, I had a long LD with many false awakenings (I think 4), and with every false awakening I realized I was dreaming immediately . There is a recurring nightmare that I've had many times before. The repeated pattern is that I feel something coming out of the the back of my neck and I can't stop it, and it is like at this moment I lose conscious or control. Usually I have a false awakening at this point in the non-lucid dream. The scene and feeling is like when a demon or so comes out of a possessed person in movies , a strong force coming out, and I can always watch it in a third person view. This time I was aware I was dreaming and it was much more painful. I tried so hard to stop it from happening by thinking it was gone, but it kept happening. I also had false awakenings, and everytime I thought I woke up, and I found the same nightmare, I realized I was still dreaming. I was totally aware, and in control of my dream character except of what was happening in the back of my neck. Finally, I decided that just thinking it was gone, was not working, so I used a trick. I convinced myself it was just a pin or something like that stuck there, and I removed it with my hand. When I did this, the pain stopped , but the feeling of something coming out lasted a little longer, then eventually it stopped. The dream was all in my family's apartment, so after that I went to the balcony, and decided to jump to fly. I was scared because I read somewhere if you believe it will hurt, it will. I decided to overcome my fear though. I tried the finger reality check to reassure myself that it was just a dream, and jumped. I landed slowly and nicely, but I didn't fly up. Then I recall trying to fly down through the house and I think I did, but this part is foggy, and I think I had another false awakening then. I recall waking up in a different bed, and realizing I was still in the dream because I knew that wasn't my bed. I also recall smelling a yellow flower because I read how things smell and feel great in the dream. It smelled nice, but I don't remember the smell now. I also recall looking at the sky expecting some beautiful scenery, and I saw a beautiful sky with colors in the horizon. The scene kept changing but I didn't choose to see anything in particular. I met my family in the dream, but they ignored me at first like I was invisible. Then I decided to let them see me, and talked to them. They answered some questions I asked, then the dream faded and I woke up in reality. That was my longest lucid dream. It is only my 5th overall anyway. I'm very happy that I overcame that silly nightmare at least once. I'm also happy I jumped from the 2nd floor for the first time. I still need to work on my my control and flying skills though. I'm also very happy that I became lucid after every false awakening, and that I didn't need to use spinning to stabilize my dream.

Well this is a new thing for me, I had a nightmare. I had fallen back on a couple habits before I went to bed and I was beating myself up over it at least sub-consciously. I was in a house with liam and maybe some other people and I was scared, I dont usually respond to being scared by cowering but I felt like I was that scared. They busted in and started clwing and biting at us I almost got bit but I somehow didnt even though one zombie had its teetch on my arm it never clenched down, after the battles someone was pasting antibacterial ointment on the scratches and then there were crazy fast Zombies running at us and we tried to get a spot light working on them and it didnt turn on which for some reason made me calmer (probably saw it was a dream sub con again) but then we were back in the house and water was flooding in and swirling around. I dont remember a lot of this part but later in the dream I was looking for somthing in the water and it was hard to see and I kept having to go down to look for it. I had about four dreams that made up of this report. I also had a dream where I was going to be in a play but suddenly got ripped back into the nightmare and this time I was alone in the house. (Before this last part I had reminded myself that nightmares are helping me work somthing out) I found what I was looking for in the water or I gave up l, regardless I started heading for the basement stairs and to get to them I had to pass by the front door which someone had left open with the porch light on. I couldnt beleive it. I shut it slowly (prolly should have walked out and explored through the "open door" but I wasnt lucid.
First dream An enormous earthquake striked, causing many buildings to collapse and I was one of many survivors. I was trapped in one of the buildings, and had to crawl under the rubble in search of food and water. I tried to clean out my way through the collapsed complex, up to the surface, but some parts of it could collapse further. Once when cleaning my way, I found a passage I haven't explored before. Four cats ran out of it, and I went inside. There was a huge wardrobe. It was in fairly good condition. I opened it, and in the darkness I saw a horrifying face of a wraith. Even though I closed my eyes, I still could see it. Suddenly the way to the surface has been cleared, and my family came inside to ge me out. False awakening I woke up in the middle of the night. It was really dark, I couldn't see anything. For some reason I woke up in a weird position. My pillow was moved to a different corner, and I was lying sideways to the bed itself.
Disturbing part in spoiler. I'm in a industrial building, all cements and metals staircase. It's nighttime outside, but the inside are lit with harsh neon lights and green night light. I'm with a brown haired, thin woman, a little taller than me; the light make her looks sick, and put emphasis on the dark circles under her eyes. The air is cold and damp, the kind of atmosphere that seep into your bones and chill you for hours. We're headed outside, but a man cross our path. He's not very tall, but very charismatic, with brown hair and very white skin. He wears a crisp white shirt, without any wrinkles despite the late hour. He makes us walk to a lower part of the building, into a big room divided by metal fences. He makes us enter one of the small room delimited by the fence. There is a medical chair in the middle, with straps to keep the head, arms and legs in place. He straps the woman in, and she starts to shiver. Spoiler for here go my lunch: Then he produces a long straight razor with a mother of pearl handle. It glitter in the neon light, like his teeth when he smile. He use this razor to slice of part of the woman head, it go in and out like a hot knife in butter, and take the piece in his hand, inveilling her brain. There isn't any blood. Just her brain, that looks green in the light. I can see with chirugical precision the skin of her head, then the bone of her skull, then the differents membranes that warps the brain, and the brain itself, with the circonvolutions neatly cut like a anatomical picture. It shine wetly in the light, pulsing slightly. He dump the piece he already cut and slice a bigger one, all the waiy throught her nose and cheek; I can see the inside structure of her skull, the pink of the gums and tongue, the muscles of her faces perfectly cutted. He gently push in what's left of her frontal lomb inside the skull , showing a small patch on the surface of it where the brain of the woman seem to have rotten oway into a powery, gray-green mildew. it's small, barely larger that the blade of the razor, with irregular border, and it's maybe two millimeter deep; it's hard to juge with the mildew. He tells me "that's why I have to do it, you see." Her brain seem greener around the rotten area. It's a surealist butchery, a bloodless carnage. He keeps smiling. I get out, down another staircase, to the parking lot under the building. Once I'm outside, I start running. There are other people in the parking, trying to get away as fast as possible. A man walking in see me running and turn on his heels, running too. We pass a couple of garbage collector, one telling the other that he gt sick and now he can smell everything in the garbage bags, "from cambell soup to kitty litter." The street are lit with city light and colorful neons, the road go uphill. The ground is slick with a recent rain, the sky pitch black. Lots of commerces are still open, spilling lights on the sidewalk. I keep running, past a laundromat covered in white tiles and a chinese restaurant with red and black paper lanterns.
I tryed to incubate using a song...to send loving thoughts into my dreams...didn't quite work as expected. D1 - I was in a large room with artificial lighting and lots of mats on the floor. Everyone was wearing white karate like suits and everyone was young. We were practising dance moves that a sensei was teaching us. I was doing fine coping his every move. The song I had been incubating was in my dream to start with then... more and more people started joining in and it was getting to crowded. I couldn't see properly what I was meant to do and I stumbled and knocked into someone. Next it all fell apart my rhythm was gone and I just jerked about out of time :/ I got fed up and left the floor. There were partners waiting watching for all the dancers, except of course me. In fact the people I looked at averted their gazes, although I felt this was because they were sad and disappointed with me. I left the hall and made my way along a hallway that was glass (ds) with white painted frames (old wooden style). Along with others I walked to an end section, which looked like an office or a shop (maybe both). At the end was a counter top with lots of different coloured notes (like bills in a restaurant). I looked at the notes and the squiggly handwriting. Thought about picking up one note then decided not too. I went to leave the shop but saw that along the hallway, to one side some large pigs had been let out of their pens. These were not cute little piggy wiggys but more like large boars that would happily munch on your bones. I shrank back when I saw a large slobbering black ones jaws , hanging open. I made for the back of the shop panicked. There was a door at the back and I escaped out onto a grassy bank (ds), wet with mud, into a Grey gloomy day. Further on was a housing estate. I reached the top of the bank and went to cut back round. Unfortunately several people from the estate came out...they were zombies...one particularly scary one an old man, with a black suit, and grey hair slicked onto his face from the rain, homed in on me. I couldn't make it I was paralyzed with fear. I woke up, I was determined to WBTB and give the DCs a hug, I tried the song again for thoughts of love... D2 - I again thought I was trying to get back to sleep...but I was in a dream again. I was in a large manor house at night. It soon became early morning and I found myself in a dormitory surrounded by little kids. I needed to go to the toilet but couldn't remember my password. My partner ditto. So we wandered around the house looking for a toilet with a hoard of kids. I was to embarrassed to say I couldn't remember. We ere standing in a large room with ceiling high windows looking out onto lawns and woods beyond. When a parent who had entered the house came in. They asked if they're children could not stay here unsupervised and play while they went off out. Surely they could go out into the grounds and roam, as long as they were told not to go to far. I thought of making a joke about a nuclear reactor being near by but thought better of it. It had started to lash rain and I looked out at the woods as the rain splattered the windows. We left the house only to see the parent kids standing outside completely drenched in the rain. We reached a some shops inside it was packed. We made our way to the end of the building. There was a bar. As I went through a bottle went flying up into the air. The barman gave me daggers, I explained it was just a trick. I said I could make anyone here at the bar their favourite drink. I used telepathy and magic to fill people's glasses with their favourite drinks. I could taste the bitter taste of the alcohol. The barman was still not impressed so I made a drink for him, filling his drink magically up, up and up till full. He downed it in one the frothy brew swilling round his upended glass. Then he spat the last of it at me :/ I had had enough of this sour faced barman, and made for the door. Flinging the door open I flew up into the air and was gone. I could hear familiar music as I ascended into the stormy grey sky.
Okay so i was hanging out with my buddies and sam at a house and we were staying the night it was a pretty nice house. I went to bed and woke up to a girl coming into my room with everyone else in there and she was trying to kiss me. I was like whow slow it down and she had something on her face and it ended up getting on me. Anyway everyone except her and me left the room and she was butt naked in the morning and I must have been to because I saw my brother coming so I started throwing clothes on and instructed her to do the same. she didn't and then my dad was looking around for me (no idea why he was there) and then she threw on a shirt and then he stepped on the blanket that was covering her bottom half and exposed its nakedness haa. I took off to the bathroom so I didn't have to answer his strict catholic questions and while I was in there I forgot about the situation outside and started trying to get the cream (it was like shaving cream kind of) off my face and it wasn't working out. I then started peeing (I think) or I just closed my eyes and thought of the spacious feeling I had felt during my meditation the day before and I started floating, Then I opened my eyes and to my great joy I had started levitating! then I started running up invisible stairs all around the bathroom to get higher I was so excited to have discovered how humans can fly! then it hit me "this has to be a dream" and I hit the ground and the room was getting dark and I opened the door to stimulate more senses. I swung the door open and headed to the girl, as I was walking though the rooms to get to here I couldn't believe for a moment that it was a dream then I remembered going back to bed after recording my first dream and I stopped wondering. I got to her and kissed her then I felt my night guard in my mouth so I took it out and there was some sticky spit on it (ewww) and I didn't care because it was a dream, I was going to tell this beautiful girl then it started destabilizing and pop i was awake in bed.
The swamps took enormous territory. All the nature around was dead, no vegetation except almost dying trees, no animals, it was a watery wasteland. It all started with an expedition sent towards swamps. There was a small village in central part of the swamp. There were many ruined buildings, but the most interesteing of them was a chapel. It was smeared all over with dried blood, and cross inside was turned sideways. Abandoned for many years, the village was just recently took as a warehouse for one of national companies. Workers appeared quickly to fix buildings, and a priest was sent to clean out the chapel. They didn't know that they have awakened a demon. I was that priest. One evening, the demon just ran out of chapels basements, and slaughtered everyone except me. I had to pray, and try exorcisms to weaken him, then I took a shovel and finished the demon.
Dream Fragment: Nightmare about how I was in this church thing which had no roof and no windows. In a previous dream I was there and there were children there who were acting as different wizards and warriors or something. But in this nightmare, I could see myself and I was evil. Another dream I'm in this house and my friend Moo is about to get married to his ex-girlfriend Katie. We're upstairs preparing for the wedding by getting dressed and talking about things. In my mind I keep thinking that this is a terrible idea to get married because IRL they are broken up. There's also some little kid upstairs with us running around. My mom tells me that there's a whole bunch of people down there and we need to come down soon to get the wedding started. I keep looking at my watch and 15 minutes keeps going by quickly. The wedding was supposed to start at 3:30 but now it's 3:45. I realize I'm not even wearing the right clothing, but a belt around my waist. I start to change upstairs in my room. Someone says that half the people have left because they were so impatient. We go downstairs to a room with 3 couches and a balcony along the upper part of the walls with no people there. There is a woman with short hair facing the opposite direction that is supposedly the person wedding my friends and 3 people sitting on the couch facing us. I walk right to see a huge open house. In another open room to the right is Katie surrounded by a group of girls trying to calm her down. My mom is really upset at this point, but I just keep saying its not a big deal at all. I say something out loud about how its everything is fine and suddenly I'm hit in the head by a ball of some sort that my mom threw at my face. She starts to storm off as I'm chasing her trying to tell her to let me explain. She gets in an elevator around the corner and the doors close. Dream Fragment: I'm telling my mom about studying abroad this past summer with this girl that I knew, but I can't think of the name of the place. Then, I remember it is China, but my view goes to this very open and tropical place with mountains surrounding besides the sea making it a bay thing, but my view is only really of a green field. Dream Fragment: I'm in California. I believe I'm in some sort of airport where I get hold of this motorcycle thing, instead there's no handle bars, just this peg thing on it like a saddle for a horse thing I push down to go forwards. I'm zooming through small hallways that are connecting rooms in the airport. I bring it to this lobby where I get off it and stand on this statue thing trying to get in contact with my dad because I have no money or no one in California with me. A small kid gets on the motorcycle which now looks like it's on display while a dad watches him. I walk up and say that it is my bike. A woman dressed as a flight attendant comes up and she verifies that I've actually bought it when I tell her that uncertainly. Then, I hop on it and go out of the open room into the city which has gray skyscrapers and moving cars. My dad is there suddenly and he tells me we're going to some professional game with his friends and that I can come. Another dream, The view goes over to this sort of disconnected island piece that's raised up above the land and sea. Inside there is a family of two kids and I was possibly the parent or something, there was also some other kid with me. The two kids go fall off of the cliff into the water so the other kid and I go rock by rock down until we get into the water. We start to look for the kids in the water. I remember thinking that I had already had this dream before but I didn't go looking for the kids. But I knew this was a nightmare of some sort. We see one kid come out of the water, and she walks up onto a rock with us. Then I see the other kid swimming, but he's grabbed by something very suddenly in the water that pulls him down. We start to run up the rock path when one of the kids says that there's a mud monster coming. I turn around and there's an arm sticking out of the water holding a brick. It starts to gradually emerge from the water and walk towards us. It looks like a mud monster from scooby doo. We start to run all the way up the rock path to higher level ground. We get to higher ground so I turn around and now the mud monster is half mud monster, half pennywise the clown from IT. He starts screaming and running at the kids. Now, I'm not even involved in the dream. I watch as the monster is now all Pennywise the clown with a sledgehammer. I thought I was now in a movie where they couldn't get the original actor, so they used a step in who was just as scary. He starts crushing at the structure that the kids are on. It looked kinda like an aqueduct.
I'm in a house that is a mix between my actual one and the one before. I'm trying to keep a new reporter, Fredrika Lounds to get inside. She first try to force the front door, then get increasingly unhinged as she try every windows of the house and I keep slaming them into her face and telling her no. I'm more and more afraid, and I jolt awake, forgetting the much nicer dream I had before.
10.11.2015Escaping the White Dragon In Ancient Sewer Labyrinth (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Surprisingly, I had little interest in recalling this dream, but if I keep doing that in general, I probably wouldn't bother to recall dreams that could be really awesome to depict visually in the future. I should continue doing more image streaming sessions during my days off from work, or at least a few minutes, or so for whatever day. I seem to undermine the ease of recalling things, especially ones that I try to capture immediately after experiencing them. I’m watching myself play a game, or at least that’s what it seemed at first, where you’re presumed to have to escape from a white dragon that’s hell-bent in killing you with its fangs. There’s a lot of quick time events that entail having to go left and right along with a third person perspective when you reach certain areas that allow this. The quick time events mostly involve you being in a first person perspective being capable of crawling through the sewers with ease, but with ominous music playing, and hearing the subtle nuances of the dragon’s breathing, and mode of action as well, it makes the experience horrifying. The white dragon would even declare sardonic statements of how one would be close to his death very soon, and such. The overall color scheme within the sewer labyrinth involves green, black, and a swamp-murky gray color, mostly for any water that’s streaming, or standing still. The transitioning from choosing left or right was very fluid, and had the dream-esque quality of weightlessness to it. It almost seemed as if the sewer dungeon itself was tilting, albeit very subtly. Or, it could just be the harsh movements of going left or right, and feeling as if my body is tilting to accommodate for the implication of fluid transitions. There were several moments where I was in close contact with the white dragon, but mostly due to me being a bit clever into tricking it into thinking I was at a certain location. I was completely oblivious to the general layout of the sewer labyrinth, and chose left and right in a non-sequential matter. Whenever I would partake in events where I visualized myself in a third person perspective with the camera being behind my shoulders, I noticed a sense of urgency to augment my pace in running, as I knew the white dragon would be less restricted in movement as well. I even had the audacity to visually scroll around behind me to see this dragon coming after me, and it was only 20 feet or so away from me. For some reason, I felt the environment itself with its ominous setting may have skewed my perception of the white dragon as I would imagine it being just as dark and tyrannical. Though, with a previous quick time event situation where it clamped my body in half, I beg to differ. There’s one event with the third person perspective where I’m inching my way towards the next hole, or entrance to randomly partake in. I’m wearing a shirt/sweater/jacket hybrid of some sort, and the sleeves are rolled up a bit. I’m wearing black pants as we well with some dark shoes; not sure of the exact color, though. The space around me seemed more natural than polluted for some reason, and I started to realize that the general layout of what seemed like an ancient sewer was merely the ancient aesthetics being seen as slightly vulgar to me. There was this large green base for the ground that was surrounded by a stream of water going in a circular motion, or being still for some circumstances. The walls were made of a rocky composition, and for some areas, there would be a faint white stream of light above me. But, because of what I felt were my limitations at the time, and the dragon being able to fly as well, I figured having to muster willpower to escape via flying would be futile at best. And with this dragon chasing me while I tried to find an end route from this dungeon, I was predisposed into thinking that it was trying to hide something that I could tap into inwardly for whatever purpose to be cherished, I think. It wasn’t the dragon being able to chew, maul, or tear me into pieces that was the issue, but more so having to potentially repeat the whole experience of going through this seemingly grandiose labyrinth. It got to the point where I’m almost out of the area, however, the logic of the experience entailed that I had to distract the dragon into going into a large body of water while I would have to land to the left of a nearby cliff that would lead me to wherever. If the dragon comes along with me to the nearby cliff, it would profess that I failed in my escape. So, there were several dream equivocations going on with transitioning in and out from this. First, the experience was translated into one where people thought it was some virtual experiential reality that they could treat as a video game. I would even go so far into saying that people would be tempted into making a video game out of it, and I even imagined someone like Markiplier wanting to play it as well. It got to the point where one could acquire a map of the whole ancient labyrinth. However, it was more than just simply navigating through the multitude of paths as there were certain switches you had to activate to determine the path you would choose. A lot of the switches, doors, and such were color-coded while the actual paths were mostly a milky gray color. Looking at the map, I could barely find an exit, but I was eventually able to find out since whenever you pressed on the map for certain areas, it would emit an orange trail to one of the exits. The two main pairs of switches consisted of a blue and green color. They were outside of the entrance to the labyrinth, and the environment around them had a mélange of high-tech machinery, and the basic composition of nature. It seemed that this area had connotations of a lost technological community along with some stylizations akin to Aztec, Mayans, and what have you. People were navigating around this area, and they all varied in existence. Some were children, some were very old, and they all had varied body weights as well. I was fairly skeptical of some that seemed a bit more grandiose in size as it would probably be difficult for them to enter it in the first place. It bothered me that these individuals treated this experience like a video game of some sort, which may have been an autonomous process set out for me to synch with this treatment of the dream. But for me, there was something that the dragon wanted to protect militantly. Some people even tried to go at the dungeon only to be reset back to this location with the main switches being pressed or back to their original position. It felt a bit consoling that there was an imaginative collective effort to figure out all of the intricacies of this area because it seemed like a nightmare, especially without the map. For some reason, even with the map, I still felt skeptical of planning out my movements because I inferred that there would be some kind of surprise; difficulty wise, pace wise, and such that would make the seemingly pre-determined paths selected equal in mystery. There was a point in the dream, or maybe this is another dream altogether that was sequential to this one where I imagined myself near a region that consisted of bars, fast food chains, and a Starbucks. Apparently, one could access the labyrinth via the manholes set out on the roads. I didn’t pay too much attention into wanting to get there through the manholes, but for whatever reason, I guess I was out here for more answers about something that I couldn’t remember. I eventually transitioned back into the base of the entrance to the ancient labyrinth, and invested a lot of time looking at the map, and figuring out how I should assess myself should I ever want to go back. I would even visualize myself going through a virtual experiential reality within this virtual experiential reality, ironically, and figuring out when the dragon would appear, and what I would have to do. It made me wonder if I spent most of the dream visualizing this in my head without even going through the labyrinth. And that’s why bothered me the most because if this were the case, for all I know, the actual experience would be something completely different from what conjured up in my head even though this would be experienced within my own cognition. The inwardness of the dream diluted the nightmare-like disposition of the experience in general, and became something more like a competitive event even though said implication was in guise of wanting to make it as such to again distract myself from thinking it was a nightmare having to deal with the white dragon; kind of like a self-reflection of how my mind would conceptualize certain events, and utilizing whatever autonomous process to suppress, regress, repress, and such to skew the experience in general. Every time I felt tempted to have a go at the ancient labyrinth, I would go back to the same circular process of imagining myself doing so, and being dissatisfied at the end result.
Dream Plots: #1 This one particular part of my dreams was brilliant on behalf of my dream characters logic. I was on a double date of sorts and somehow the 4 of us (2 guys 2 girls) ended up on a stairwell. What happened was that the girls swapped guys and started making out with them in order to "test" if they were faithful. The girl that I wasn't dating sped downstairs with me and started seducing me; I failed the test. When she sped back up the stairs to check if her boyfriend had survived the test, she found the other couple to still be going at it. This took a massive toll on her self confidence and then re-opened the door for me to hook up with her again. She was much taller than I but was self conscious of her breasts. #2 My old neighbor was screaming in the window upstairs and the cops came rushing bye and pounded on the door to see what was wrong with her. They couldn't open the door so they knocked it down and rushed upstairs to find her in the bathroom screaming. I never found out what she was screaming about but it was scary. The whole scene was out of a horror movie in that she only had 1 light on in her house and it was pitch black outside. #3 I was on the bus back to another year in high-school. Somehow I teleported into one of my friends Jeeps and we drove off-road and took a shortcut to school. My friend J was in the front seat and he got out and I followed suit. As I made my way towards school, I ran into a bunch of kids that I started giving "fist bumps" to. This made me happy and feel accepted. As I progressed I made my way into the lunchroom where I saw C who had a yellow hat on. It made him look pompous and he carried himself that way as well. I put on the necessary social make-up to get past the situation and move on to fist-bumping my X-girlfriend twice. She is clearly a dream sign as she's been in two consecutive nights and I haven't seen her in 3 years. Fragments: #1 I saw a black Porshe parked in front of my driveway that was unbelievably cool. It had a "muted" black color so it was smoky instead of being shiny. It also had large, bat-mobile type wheels and my friend needed to test it out for himself. #2 I flipped through a year book which had an orange page with a "popup song" that came along with the visuals. The visuals told me not to forget the "Inner Smile" that can be cultivated through Buddhist awareness. Notes: #1 Dream signs are becoming more obvious. Whenever I see a girl is a great time to reality check. Furthermore if I see my girlfriend or my high school (I'm out of college), then that would be a great time to reality check #2 I am now convinced of this strategy. Wake up in the night during preset times and record your dreams in full. While this can probably be cut out as I get more accustomed to recording my dreams, in this early stage I think it is pivotal to do as much as possible in terms of dream recall... so that's what I'm going to implement tonight. I will write down in full detail the recordings of my dreams regardless of what time it is or if I am tired.
Dream 1 - Empire war There's a war going on in the universe. The good guys (the side I'm on) which are the empire I think, and the bad guys (probably another empire). The place I'm at is the central supply station that has all the resources of our army. The head commander is Morpheus (from The Matrix, he has the coat, glasses, stoic look and everything) and he's guided me through my character creation (what?). It seems like I designed the skill set my character has, which was leadership and a few fighting skills (I think one was the warhammer, another could have been a 'kick' skill?). I seem to be quite low level though. The supply station is set in a desert area with sand for miles all around. It's a round sandstone building with an open round entrance. It's more like a place enclosed by walls that circle around it. There is a tower-like structure in the centre-back of the station too. Time skip. It's now sunset, with the sky doused in a mellow orange. We're still stationed at the supply station and disaster has struck. All the allies who work at the station have turned and stolen all the resources to give to the enemy empire. We've lost everything now, and our army is practically non-existent. There's 3 of us left, me, Morpheus, and another guy. "I can't even say that's a bad strategic output" I say lightheartedly (what's a strategic output?) "It's over, they've won." Morpheus looks lost as he says this, I can't believe he would give up despite knowing how hopeless the situation is. I walk towards him and place my hands on his shoulds, "let me say something to you" *SLAP*. "Don't you dare give up". He flinched a bit from the slap but turned his face to look at me, his cool glasses still in place as if they were glued.. "You'll make a fine commander with your capianry, warhammer and kick skills." he says. I start to tear up, my eyes are leaking. I feel like I'm an actor now, doing some dramatic movie moment. *swish* I turn my head to the side dramatically (in my head I think 'Wow, I'm a bad actor') and release his shoulder. I walk off to the right and sit down sadly, knowing that I would have to lead the future of our people or something. I think Morpheus said "I will guide you" which seemed to conflict with my idea that he was leaving. There's no time skip but we're outside the station now. It's crumbling away like loose sand in the wind, slowly dissolving and falling to the ground. Dream 2 - Diving mask I remember earlier seeing a person put on a diving mask in a room to show us all how it works. It seemed to be a breathing instructor teaching us how to control our breathing or something. Even though we're using diving gear I got the impression it wasn't to learn how to dive. Some time later in the night I think this dream came back, though now I was the person who was supposed to put the mask on. The room we were in was small and square with side benches for people to sit on. Around me were a bunch of other students, and in front of us was a woman who was our teacher. She asked me to come forward and test the mask out. I sit down on the floor in front of the class and she placed a diving mask on my head. It was a 'full' mask, that went over my entire head, supposedly used for deep sea diving. I hated it. I actually felt like I could have died O_O. It was so realistic. I felt the air flow into my mouth and then back out, though it didn't feel like 'normal' breathing. It was more like the air was coming from a tank and the air had a certain pressure to it. I also felt water enter the mask. What the heck? I panicked a little bit, there shouldn't be any water in here. I remember from the previous dream that the guy who wore the mask (whom I thought was me) had answered the questions of the teacher. I listened for her talking, I couldn't even see out of this thing properly. Her talking was so muffled I couldn't tell what she was saying so I gave a thumbs up in the direction of a blurry figure moving around. Most of my vision was taken up by the metal of mask, there were 2 glass eye windows to see through but they were dirtied and foggy, you couldn't functionally see with them. I panicked a little more, I couldn't talk so I couldn't ask for help. How the hell do I communicate?? I try some hand movements to infer that I wanted the damn thing taken off me, I couldn't do it myself because it's latched on or something. Aaaa just take it off! It really felt like I was about to have a panic attack and I decided I didn't like this feeling and that I wanted to wake up, so I did. This dream wasn't even that long (like less than a minute).
Dream 1 - seds exam Me and my friend John are in a car and driving around for part of a field trip related to the sedimentology paper we're studying. I remember being near the coastline and seeing some calm water while we're on a dirt road nearby under the canopy of some pine trees. I think we're pissy about something. We're back in the paleosed lab in our geology department studying for the exam now which is related to the field trip we've just been on. John tells me that the other people studying have placed the 'backshore' zone *here* (he shows me somehow, maybe with a picture). I get annoyed, "dude they're doing it wrong. Look at this" I start illustrating the beach and shoreface zones in their entirety and start teaching him about everything. "Well damn mister sedimontologist huhuhu" he says jokingly (kind of an inside joke where he's saying I'm a smartass ). Dream 2 - Goddess Nightmare This dream was a little weird. I remember being on a boat, surrounded by water. I know that in the direction behind me is land somewhere but I can't see it. There are other people on the boat but I don't recall seeing them. There's internal dialogue going on, I'm just.. Thinking? "The beginning of the world was due to the contact between the gods and goddesses" (this is similar to Greek mythos I think, Oranos the sky father and Gaia the earth mother). I'm in the water now, the boat is non existant and the dream is showing the distance between gods. I represent a god that is wading in the water, while in the distance I know there is another god but she's only just visible and is wading in the water. It's supposed to be impossible to contact one another, but the dream story says that we do and that is how everything begins. It is now a different time, the 'present'. Mankind has to be careful of the gods and goddesses because they walk among us in disguise. They require constant sacrifices every day. Some seduce their prey and kill them in their houses. I think a hot woman picks me up and we head to her house. She's actually a goddess (surprised?)... I think she goes into another room to get change and tells me to wait here (in the living room I guess). I think I somehow discover she's a goddess as I seem to see her on her bed in a red fishnet body dress thing. She was doing erotic stuff and I was like "oh shit she's going to kill me" so I ran and hid. Another person turns up and she kills him instead. I'm hiding in her closet but it's full of 'skins'. Like body suits she can wear to disguise herself. Behind them all is another door which takes me into another bedroom. She's still after me so I think I bolt out the window and onto the grass outside. I run downhill on the lawn towards the main road and manage to escape but the whole time I was terrified. Like she could get ahead of me somehow and come around some corner with an axe like they do in the horror movies O_O. I decided I wanted to wake up so I did.
Welp, it sucked.
