    1. Dark room, Wooden door - Lucid - Several False Awakenings - Extremely vivid!

      by , 10-20-2011 at 05:48 PM (GypsyDiver's Dream Bible)
This one has more false awakenings than I've ever had, so it's hard to keep straight!

I was hanging out with Stats and the rest of the Bridgies. I poked Stats on the nose, and I made her blush. I was excited by that. Then, I found out my mom was a serial killer based through Facebook. She was blonde, and was keeping the stuff she used to kill people in the room next to me. I eventually got so freaked out by the whole thing that I 'woke up' with a false awakening.

The first thing I thought was that I was disappointed the thing with Stats was a dream. But I was glad my mom wasn't a serial killer. As usual when I wake up, I performed a reality check, holding my nose. But I only held one nostril, so I figured the fact I could breathe was based on that. Then I believe I tried to go to sleep. Either that or I tried to WILD. Either way, when I closed my eyes, I saw extremely weird things so I thought I could do another reality check. I tried the nose again. Once again, I could still breathe. I thought about how weird it was, then I realized it was because I was dreaming!

I was so excited, I jumped out of bed. I looked around the room, which was really dark. It kept switching between looking like this big Victorian bedroom and the one I'd fallen asleep in. The bed was large and wooden and ornate. Slink sat up and asked me if I was still going to try to sleep/WILD. He reminded me that my mom was still in the next room (from the dream before.) That part scared me, and I got sucked back into the dream
plot again. Slink managed to convince me to climb back into bed, but I kept thinking about how weird it was that my mom was blonde. Then I remembered I was dreaming, and I thought, "No way, I'm not letting this change slip by!" So I jumped back to the other side of the bed, where the door was.

I looked at my hands, which looked normal. I focused on them, then rubbed them because even then I could feel myself losing awareness. As I rubbed them, it was like everything came into view. I could see things much more clearly, including the door in front of me. It had been closed, but as I rubbed it opened, and I really looked at it. I was astonished by how real it looked! It was exactly like I wanted! I was really lucid! I started to rub the door on both sides, determined to keep my awareness. Then I thought, "What now?"

I remembered that I wanted to do the Task of the Month (trick or treating) so I tried to make the door take me to the house I imagined trick or treating at. I kept having trouble opening it, and when I did it was just a really dark room beyond it. So I tried spinning. I thought about where I was going, and spun hard. My vision went black and I felt myself falling. After a minute, I still didn't see anything, but I worried I was going to wake up...
so of course I did. I had another false awakening. I was very upset that I had spun myself out of the dream.

After that I don't remember, but I didn't wake up for another few minutes.

    2. i cant walk

by , 10-16-2011 at 11:42 PM (Tales from the sun chaser.)
The following takes place during the span of several dreams due to the fact that I was in non REM.

I remember being under my oak tree outdoors, and I couldn't walk. It took me all my power to stand up. It was almost as if both of my knees would keep giving out on me.

I'm in my house, and N starts giving me a haircut. He says my clippers are messed up, so he's just going to stop right then and there. Obviously I'm like "wtf!?" because I have class tomorrow. Something else was talked about...I think he wanted me to fix or build a computer.

I'm in my room, and my brother walks in and he's trying to talk to me about something, but I'm on the game, and it's probably something critical.

I'm at a dinner with my daughter, and some annoying guy holds his kid up next to me. I tell him that I don't smell anything because I have a dad nose. My daughter gets the kid and tries to change his diaper. She has most of it done, but she didn't put the straps on correctly (it was really complicated in the dream like a series of folds and crap).

I'm talking to my sister-n-law about my problems walking. We're in a white room, but the sun is making it a little yellowish. I try to show her how it's so hard to walk. My knees knees almost hurt while standing. They give way and fall. I tell her "this is feeling almost like those dreams I was having earlier." That's when I spontaneously realize that I'm dreaming, and fly around a bit. The problem of walking still remained though. Eventually I woke up.
    3. telekinesis and me

by , 10-15-2011 at 03:19 PM (Tales from the sun chaser.)
I don't remember where the previous dream ended, and this one started, but it was pretty disturbing. The parts that are worth talking about is playing contra, but we did something to the nintendo that made the graphics arcade quality. I also said something about dreaming, but I'm not sure if I was totally aware.

I don't remember what happens between that and the next part but....

I'm lucid, and I don't remember RCing or anything so it's safe to assume it was a MILD. I remember walking down this long hall, and getting into an argument with these women. It almost seemed like I was at a nurses station in a hospital because of the floors. I remember flying off upright like magneto, and entering another area that was full of people. The flight felt so weird this time it felt like something else was holding me in the air, instead of that "my own power" type feeling.

So I'm in this room, and I started playing around with the objects in there, making them float, and fly. I remember picking up this shoe and throwing it, and I stopped it just before it hit the ground, and made it return in my hands. Then some random DC walks by and grabs me by the balls! He was saying something to the other DCs about how I wasn't so powerful after all, and he walked off.

After that I lost all focus and I couldn't do anything. I went to a table that had a chess board to work on my skills. I moved individual pieces around one by one until I was able to get them off the ground. Then I flattened all the pieces, and turned them into a pile of quarters. I stepped back some, and lifted all the quarters about a foot off the table, and put them back on it. Then I tried lift the table, and was successful on the second attempt. From what i was learning, it seemed like I was "focusing in too hard" for what I was trying to accomplish, and that's why it wasn't happening.

After that, some DC came up to me, and decided it was plan B time, but it got weird. We found a quiet spot, and by the time we started going at it, she sort of turned fried chicken bones. WTF.

    4. 11/10/11 Tuesday DILD - Aliens in the Institute

      by , 10-13-2011 at 05:25 AM
      Lucid
      Dream
      Non-Dream

I was at my Nanny’s house. There was a toddler/baby there that I was to look after. We had fun singing Fireflies by Owl City in the garage and playing on bikes and scooters in the driveway. But then it began to rain. The rain was torrential. My Nanny put the baby in a cot/box, but it began to fill with water and the baby began to drown. With little time to spare, I picked up the baby and held it upright, banging on its back so that it coughed up water. It was then that I was captured.

I was in some kind of large building/institute. There were many people my age. I was waiting in line for something that everybody wanted desperately, but I was towards the back of the line. I decided to hop out of line and go sit in a corner by myself. It was just my luck that the head of the institute called random people close to him up, because I was sitting on the edge of his office/platform. With the selected few, he decided to send us on a mission.

Aliens. Our mission was to investigate and befriend aliens. This went quite smoothly at first. My team and I continued along on foot and found a few aliens. Some of the team were given special upgrades such as wolverine claws or sticky gummy string that came out of their hands. But when we went on the boat to find a certain type of alien, it all went wrong. The aliens looked like red daleks with three heads. Not the robot daleks, the flesh on the inside. The aliens were in a red blimp in the sky. The girl with string powers tried to fly her string up, but it was too short. Somehow, she figured out how to stretch it, and wrapped her string around a tube above her from which she swung herself up like Tarzan would swing from a vine.

I ran. I jumped. I was going to escape these terrible aliens. I don’t know how I knew they were terrible, I just knew. Somehow, I was teleported to the place in the institute where they held the trouble makers/evil children. I sat next to a girl with wolverine claws. There were lots of aliens around me that we had already researched. I got up to go investigate. There was a passage way with an adult and a small army in neat rows. Somehow I knew that the terrible red aliens would give an electric shock and do something to them, so I yelled out. But they wouldn’t listen, so I ran. It was too late. I was shocked by the wave. It appeared to be electric yellow sparks buzzing around everybody and everything. However, the wave only caused me to keep repeating my previous actions, like a glitch. I figured out how to bypass it, and then fixed the girl with wolverine claws. It was quite a task managing not to get cut by her claws.

Time jumped. I was on the second level of the institute. My friend Amsie was bragging about what she could do in a dream. She was talking about going to the dream academy and air bending. ‘Pfft, I already know about that!’ I thought. Then she continued talking about finding the portal to the dream academy. That was what triggered me to become lucid. I quickly pinched my nose and found I could breathe in. My dream was becoming unstable so I rubbed my hands together which began to fix the problem. Racing down the stairs I held onto the cool metal of the stair railing, gaining awareness of my surroundings. I examined the person in front of me in detail, indulging myself in my surroundings. Forgetting my dream goals, I decided to fly. It was quite easy, but I had a nagging feeling like I was forgetting something. I decided then that I wanted to try something that I hadn’t succeeded with for ages. I went down the stairs and pictured my friend coming around the next corner. They did, but they ran away and I never caught their face. I kept chasing but they disappeared every time I caught a glimpse of them. I believe this made me lose my lucidity somewhat.

All were called to arms. Everybody was in the institute and grabbed their backpacks from the massive towers that held backpacks. We all jumped up to the third floor of the institute. I followed an boy, even though he was slow because his backpack was heavy. I didn’t take a backpack because I figured it was a dream and I wouldn’t need it. We ran along a metal grid towards something.

Side notes: This was the only night since discovering Dream Views that I did not attempt any lucid dream induction techniques. I recall briefly focusing on a dream recall mantra, but nothing else. Next time I will lay out in my mind very clearly what goals I wish to achieve in my next lucid dream. In relation to the friend who ran away, I have received advice from a few Dream Views members and believe that I will be able to handle the situation better next time.

      [MILD/WBTB]
[Woke up after 6 1/2 hours of sleep (8pm-2.30am, stayed up on PC about 20 min, went back to bed, thought about LDing, meteor shower and my upcoming class reunion, did some "Am I dreaming" and looking at my hand and saying my mantras. Fell asleep shortly after 4am). Woke up immediately after getting ½ way to LD at 4.45am].

      Dream:
It's at night and I'm at my class reunion. I'm talking to my friends for a little while. Then I'm in adjacent room with big wall full of windows. Suddenly I see a huge bolide streaking through the skies from right to left. It's beautiful. I see some hills on the left and I know if I don't get higher, I will loose this meteorite behind the hill. Suddenly I feel as I was on a see-saw. I'm slowly lifting in the air without any effort and slowly coming back to ground. I do this couple of times. Then instead of coming back down, I keep going higher. Feels good but I'm surprised and I look up asking myself "wow, how high is this ceiling?". "I'm dreaming". My hand comes into view and looks almost normal, except mi middle finger is little longer than it should be. I realize that from this point it could go either way - turn lucid or continuing with regular dream. So I start willing my finger to stretch longer while repeating to myself "I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming." I'm still high all the way to the ceiling.
I get scared of the dark and wake myself up. Man, I wish I wasn't such a scaredy-cat.

    6. super long DILD

by , 10-07-2011 at 02:05 PM (Tales from the sun chaser.)
I don't know even know where this thing started. I remember talking to this Indian guy on the phone about the appointment I had today. They said it was at 11:30...I didn't think much about it.....I can't figure out for the life of me when I actually got lucid. I remember throwing things around with telekinesis and flying. There were a lot of DC's. I was in a fight with one....one of those super tough ones, but I don't know what happened...maybe that triggered it.

I summoned LL to find out what her problem was, and as soon as she showed up, some other girl was about to fight her. I broke them up, and there was big crowd behind both of us, and one of the guy DC's was looking at me like he wanted some. I told him he was barking up the wrong tree and as soon as he tried rushing me I gave him a three piece combo, and made this fence materialize between us. I decided to test my hand at flying, but I put a twist to it. I was flying magneto style for a bit. Music started playing, so I continued dancing, while flying. It was like I was walking on air. I saw my car below, so I landed on it, and flew off with it while it was under my feet. It was harder to get a good altitude with the car though, and when I landed I saw my fathers truck rushing me. I stopped it with my bare hands and woke up
    7. Space Travel 10/4/10

      Went to bed 10:30 10/4/10
      Supplement: Melatonin 5 Mg

I was on a different planet, that resembled a flat cratered moon with the color of mars. There was a contraption that looked like an L and it held a special suit. In order to use it, you were strapped in. I was standing in line with a ticket in my hand. I looked at the ticket, and then around the landscape. I realized, I've had this dream before. The planet's landscape looked way to familiar. I looked back at my ticket, and it looked very strange, almost as if the text was caved in on itself. It was different than before.
      Lucidity.
The oh so familiar feeling flooded me, and I felt pins and needles in my hands and feet. I wasn't sure what to do in the dream, and i forgot how it went. As I turned around and looked behind me, I saw a line of people going as far back as the eye can see. "Dave." I hear my name called. I turn my attention to the sound, and I am next for the contraption. I decide to play along, and see how the dream turns out and be lucid at the same time. I go up and stand on the platform of the L contraption. A suit was strapped on to me, and I felt compressed in an air pressurized suit. It confused me still because we were surviving in an airless environment, and they are giving me air. I heard a "Go!" and I blasted off. Involuntary flying was a very weird feeling, and I didn't control the contraption. I just went... up. As I look down at the crowd, I see my mom goodbye. I feel extreme sadness, and I lose my concentration. My lucidity was lost, and then
I woke up to my alarm with blurry and watery eyes.

      lucid
It was late evening, dark. I was with another person (male) and 2 kids on a shore of a long lake, with small lit-up houses/shops on the right. (In the morning I realized it reminded me of a shoreline of Avalon on Catalina Island in California, where ocean is to your left, there is a walkway with simple guardrail and shops/houses right across the street on the right side).

We were all dressed in pants, t-shirts and windbreakers. We decided to go to an evening outdoor concert. I realized that it's colder than we thought and I had to go to get some more clothes. So I started walking by the handrail towards the houses on the other side of the lake, when I decided to fly there. I hopped up on the guardrail and jumped up and flew quite fast over the lake, with arms spread out, like a Superman.

(Now, I did fly in my dreams quite often, but always with trouble, never been able to fly high, mostly just climb on a tree and flap my arms really hard, or jump in the air couple times while flapping my arms like a madman and take a flight, but only few feet of the ground).

In a middle of the lake I thought to myself "This would be great time to have a dream". Two things happened at the same time. I got a very strong feeling emanating from my abdomen area, something like great joy and I KNEW that Lucid Dream is coming, and my right hand lifted in front of me. It was all distorted, fingers like waves, flat, kinda like geckos toes, and seemed to be more of them than five. This view of my hand freaked me out a little bit.

I asked myself if I'm dreaming and with grin from ear to ear I answered yes. I forgot all about getting clothes and thought about what to do now that I'm lucid. I figured let's fly someplace.
(I love flying dreams.) Started flying around but everything was dark. Got kinda disappointed and woke up.

[Went to bed around 12.45am, woke up from a dream at 2.53am.
Before bed, I read for couple hours about LD, practiced nose pinch and finger through palm RC and saying that "Next time I dream, I will RC and realize I'm dreaming".

Didn't really practice the looking at the hand and counting fingers RC, just a few times, much less than other RCs. But when in bed, I did my mantra and looked at my hand and asked myself if I'm dreaming as I was falling asleep for about 15 minutes. And yet, the hand RC showed up and got me lucid.]

      First Day of SAT: (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

My recall is still poor, so I don't remember the start of this dream.

I'm walking with my friends in the lobby of my school. I stop walking, then suddenly realize that everything is kind of blurry. I think "Wait, who the hell were those people? I don't even know them...". I think that I am dreaming, so I quickly do the nose plug test, but I do it too quickly to actually tell if it worked. Just to make sure I am actually dreaming, I stare at my left hand, then try to force my right through. My hand slips right through it and I get extremely excited.

I wake up because I was too excited. I am so surprised that this happened. I only read about SAT for the first time yesterday- then only practiced it 3-5 times. Well, looks like I found myself a new method (I just have to work on dream control and controlling my excitement.

by , 09-11-2011 at 11:45 PM (Tales from the sun chaser.)
I had a DILD, followed by two or three DEILDs. Never wrote it down....but I'll try to think about what triggered it.

I was in the utility room washing clothes. There were two washing machines and one dryer. Instead of taking the full load into one machine, I split the loads evenly into two machines. I started smelling smoke, and it looked like the washing machines caught fire. I put them out with something, but whatever I had kept glowing. I walked out of the utility room, and saw this thick brown snake. I immediately RC'd and found out I was dreaming.
I took flight for a bit
and and landed. I walked around the corner looking for plan be...but something happened. I think the dream faded.

I don't remember the second dream, but I know I was lucid in it...doing the same thing......looking for some action. It started fading, so I prepped myself for another deild. But instead I sort of just ended up in the void. I know I wasn't awake because I couldn't feel my body at all...but there wasn't anything going on. Just a swarm of blackness.

    11. Bizarre Shows at DCA, Getting Lost, and Flying

by , 09-11-2011 at 05:31 PM (The Lab Notebook)
Non-lucid, Possibly lucid?, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

I'm trying to drive to a destination, and I go through an intersection and end up on a winding road that leads down the side of a mountain to a lake. I recheck my directions and realize that I was supposed to turn right at that last intersection. I start retracing my route and going back up the hill.

I'm at an outdoor amphitheater in Disney California Adventure. I'm way in the back of the amphitheater area, on some bleachers, watching a stage show. There is a bizarre structure on the horizon as you're looking at the stage; it looks like a pyramid with the points sticking out in a bunch of different directions, like what you would see if you put a normal pyramid in the center of a spherical structure with mirrors on all the inside surfaces. The show starts out with red fireworks that shoot out from the vicinity of this structure. The first round explodes in the sky above and to the right of the audience, the second arcs down to and explodes on the round, concrete slab of a second amphitheater behind and to the right of the audience, and the third explodes just above the audience's heads. I'm afraid that I'm going to catch on fire, but I don't.

On stage, there's some sort of announcement from a villainous character in the show that we need to prepare to be tortured. He also says that all the women should stay in the main viewing area, while all the men should move to the building at the back of the theater with the indoor concession and souvenir stands. They all do so. Then, large snakes appear throughout the viewing area. One is close enough to me to touch me with the end of its tail, which I know is poisonous
[um, what?]. It's very long and all coiled around on top of itself. I visually pick out its head and tail from among the mass, and try to avoid them as I pick it up and attempt to toss it away from me. This doesn't work. It wraps itself around my waist and legs, binding me in place. I'm scared, but I resign myself to it when I realize that I can't get it off and that it's just a part of the show anyway.

After the show, which felt like it had lasted about 50 minutes, I make my way down to the stage. One of my college girlfriends is getting married here at Disney California Adventure. Several of the other girls from our group are bridesmaids, and they're all wearing long, grayish-white dresses with Disney vacation scenes on them. Two of them are pregnant, including EB. I'm here to attend the wedding, too, but I don't talk to any of them. When the wedding party starts taking pictures, I walk back to the concession and souvenir building at the back of the amphitheater.

My walk there takes me along a gently-curving grass path marked with steppingstones with the shapes of different Disney character heads on them. This path marks the edge of the amphitheater seating area. When I get into the concession and souvenir building, I talk to one of the men who was watching the show. He says the boys had their own torture: during the entire time the show was going on, they were all held in one area and none of them were allowed to pee. I tell him that the free T-shirts can be picked up at the Great American Icee stand, over there.

The dream I've been having fades to black
[it may have been the one above, or a different one, I'm not quite sure]. When it does, I realize exactly what's going on, close my eyes, and think, When I open my eyes, I will be back in another dream. I open them, and I'm back at the same amphitheater, but the scenario is different.

[I'm not 100% sure I was lucid for this next part, though.] This time, there are a whole bunch of patriotic greeting cards in boxes at the back. Everyone there has been making them to send to the families of military members and people who died in the 9/11 attacks. Some people are still making them. I see that one lady in the back row has a plate full of lasagna, and take a bite with a fork. She tells me not to eat the lasagna, that it's for the people being honored.

Another show starts in the amphitheater. As it starts, people in front of me stand up, which forces me to stand up, too. I talk with the family to my left. They ask me about a “magic wand” that can be used to uncover secrets and extra content in the park. I point out one that a Cast Member down on a walkway that we can see from our seats is using. It looks a lot like a big, black metal detector, with a bunch of black tubes on top that form a Mickey head shape in the center. It detects sensors embedded in the ground and plays a sound when it finds them. The family climbs up onto the roof of the pagoda structure covering the back of the stands to get a better view of the stage, which is easy to do. I say, “Hey! That's rude!” but follow them up there anyway.

[Later, I had another dream in which I was definitely lucid, but I don't remember how it started or very many of the details. Here's what I do remember:]

I'm in an indoor environment, just walking around and admiring the scenery. I know none of this is real and acknowledge that fact in my mind, but I deeply appreciate how the scenery and the daylight illuminating it look completely real.

When I get to the top floor of the building I'm in, I attempt to fly through the ceiling, but it doesn't work. I just bump into the ceiling, which is completely solid to me. It's a stucco ceiling.

I'm flying around above a city, observing it from the air. Another female dream character
[no one I know in real life] is flying with me. I take it slow, finding that I have full control over my speed and direction, but not wanting to do any more than relax and take it all in. I increase my altitude, and the other girl follows. We talk while flying. [I don't remember about what.]
    12. Lucid Catchup Post (Night of August 31-September 4)

      [This is a catchup post.]

Awake, Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

      Night of August 31-September 1

[Fragment] I still have the box I shipped out via FedEx yesterday, for some reason.

I'm outside and lucid. I try to start flying, but am unable to. I move to another spot where I have an unobstructed view of the sky, and try taking off again. This time, I succeed. I think, I have to be looking up at the sky at about a 40-degree angle in order to fly - no, I don't! If I think that's true, then it will be! I can't set limits on it like that!

There is a large playground where I am. I fly toward it and, to my own slight surprise, am able to fly right through all the playground equipment intangibly, with no trouble at all. I get to see the dark-gray interior cross-sections of the upright pieces of the structure. I think, Oh, heck yeah. When I get all the way through the playground, I fly up to get an overview of the landscape.

      September 4, 2011

I'm at my current house. My mom has come over to visit. She's sitting on the couch in the living room. [The living-room furniture is set up in a mirror image of how it is in real life. The couch is facing the outside wall of the house, rather than being up against that wall.] I'm upstairs, looking down into the living room. I jump down the stairs and float gently down onto the ground floor, in full view of my mom and all the other guests downstairs, not caring this time about being seen using my dream abilities by my DCs. None of them take any notice of what I've just done or comment on it as being strange. [I don't remember how this dream began, or how or when I realized I was dreaming, but I definitely knew I was.]

I sit down in an armchair to visit with my mom. We're talking about what it's like for me to be on my own, whether I'm lonely, whether I miss her. She asks me, “Do you ever dream about me?” I say, “Yes.” I decide I don't want to tell her that I'm dreaming about her right now and she's just a DC, though. She continues talking to me about dreams. While she's talking, I notice that she has one or two extra digits on each hand, but I decide not to point this out to her, either. I just find it interesting. I didn't know that that could happen to DCs, too.

[Different dream, later on.] I'm in a house somewhere, with my family. We're getting ready to go out to a movie, for which someone else is buying the tickets. I take my phone out of my purse to check it. It's my smartphone that I have in real life. I've set it to display my name as “Danny Boletino,” the name of a character in a heist movie, just for the fun of it.

I'm in another room of that same house, having a quiet conversation with my boss about fishing. He's surprised to learn that the last time I went fishing with him and his family was the first time I'd ever been fishing. I also tell him that I want to go fishing with them again, because I want to get better at it.

      Side notes:

Lots of day residue here. I saw my mom yesterday, and we had company over at our house. However, my mom did not really come over to my house; I saw her elsewhere. Also, one of the last threads I was this one, about looking at your hands to RC or stabilize the dream, so I'm not surprised that that showed up in my dream.

Neat. That's the first time my new smartphone has shown up in one of my dreams. It's been exactly two weeks since I got it, which is also exactly how long it took me to have my first false awakening in my new house after I moved into it (see this DJ entry). Evidently, two weeks is how long it takes for my my unconscious mind to accept something as normal and start incorporating it into my dreams.

DILD: It was winter. I found a very small puppy shivering in the snow. I picked it up and carried it with me. I came to my friends place and looked at the pup to make sure it was still alive. It was. But it had changed from brown to black and white. I looked away and looked back. The pup had turned purplish/red. I must be dreaming. To prove I was I made it my intent to float up the stairs before me instead of walking up. I instantly floated to the top of the stairs. I went into the house, put the puppy on the floor and then stood quietly, thinking.

I knew that this would be a very short, probably boring spurt of lucidity. I lifted into the air and let the dream pull at me. I spun wildly, twisting and turning in all directions. It felt as if I would be ripped apart but I didn't care. I had never been ripped apart while lucid and was curious what it would feel like. I felt myself slipping out of the dream.

I forced myself to stop spinning. I had to prolong the dream just a little longer. An entirely disgusting prolonging method I'd read on this site yesterday, popped into my head. I decided to give it a go. As I positioned myself I found the dream stabilized. I proceeded to use the technique and it did, to my surprise, work. However, I soon peaked. At the same moment I woke up.

    14. Lucid Dream #50

      Lucidity: 8/10
      Vividness: 9/10
      Length: ~5 Min.

I was in my room and I tried to turn on my lamp, it didn't work. I thought "well, that's weird" so I went over to my bedroom ceiling light and tried to turn that on, that didn't work either. I turned the hallway light on and I saw my brother playing games. I went back into my room and finally was able to turn my bedroom light on. Suddenly, the scenery changed around me. I was standing in the middle of a jungle. I thought "it was dark in my brother's room, so why is it so bright outside?" I found out that I was dreaming and I saw my bother and told him "Cameron, guess what. We're dreaming!" He didn't seem very thrilled of the idea, so I just floated off for a little while and saw a cabin, I flew into the cabin and stuff started disappearing. I made stuff disappear by waving my hand across my face and trying to ignore the flaws on the wall and it worked. The cabin looked much better. So, I looked to my left and imagined a hot girl sitting there and she was. She had very nice big tits so we both got on the bed and she started to get to work. I was concentrating very hard so I wouldn't wake up. When I started to feel my physical body in real life, I got prepared to DEILD. When I woke up, I sucked in a bunch of air because my nostrils were clogged, I was like "god, damn it!" and didn't fall asleep for a while.
    15. Floating Around the Neighborhood

Awake, Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

I'm on my laptop, playing one of the mini-games within Petpet Park, when the game interrupts me with a pop-up notification saying that I've set a score record and asking me to fill in the name I want to display next to the record. I type in my player character's name. As soon as I finish typing it, it changes to a completely different, longer name. I think, Computers don't usually change what you've typed after you've typed it. I must be dreaming! I reach up and pinch my nose and, just as I had expected, feel that otherworldly sensation of being able to breathe through it. I feel a strong surge of excitement and happiness.

Suddenly, I find myself lying in my bed in my current bedroom. Still knowing perfectly well that I'm dreaming, I climb out of bed and walk out of the room and down the stairs. I hop down the last few steps, enjoying the way it takes me a couple of seconds to float down and land as gently as a feather on the floor, unlike in reality. In the living room, where the stairs end and where the ceiling is high, I float into the open space like a balloon for a few moments. I'm having a great time.

Then I decide to go out the front door. I start trying to go through it intangibly, thinking, I know I can do this. I've done it before. I can see the door and its interior, which are dark brown, and then the front yard as I begin to go through the door. I don't get all the way through it, though. I end up walking out onto the front path, then realizing that I've made a hole in the door with my face, and my face is still stuck through it; I've brought it with me. “This is stupid,” I say. I peel it off and toss it aside; it feels like it's made of thin plastic.

Now that I'm outside, I start floating again. I see two dogs in somebody’s yard and start flying higher, making sure I'm out of their reach in case they try to jump up and attack me.
[Darn irrational fears. I have that one in real life, too. I know I could have confronted it and perhaps reduced its hold through this dream, but it didn't occur to me to do so at the time.] However, the dogs do no such thing. I continue flying, and think, It's good that I'm in my own neighborhood, and it looks just like it does in reality. [Except that it didn't, not quite. The street turned to the right in the dream at a place where it dead-ends in reality.] Down on the street, I see two cartoony-looking kids named Sam and Sarah talking to each other. At some point during their conversation, I woke up.
