    1. Hide and Seek with a Pokemon

      by , 05-19-2011 at 02:21 AM
(Side Note: the odd date is because this was the very first lucid dream i had after learning about this site, ive held the journal for a while now, i only decided to join the site today)

      April 18th 2011

      Dream Induced

When my dream begins. I find myself in a field, low level lucidity occurs because ive never been in a field before. I start walking towards a tree in the distance the only noticable landmark for miles. As i approach the tree, I suddenly hear laughing, I look around to find a bush that I hadn't noticed before. It begins to shake and a blur of gray and deep crimson jumps out of the bush, when it lands I see that it is the Pokemon Zorua. It looks at me with its deep blue eyes and asks “will you come play with me, I don't have any playmates” I nod and it turns and begins to walk towards a new part of the field, as I follow it, I take the time to look around to see a forest off in the opposite direction that I hadn't noticed before.

When we reach an area of the field filled with more bushes and a fallen tree, Zorua suddenly takes off yelling “you cant catch me”. It vanishes into thin air, and im left alone. I begin to wander around looking for him, checking everything from bushes to rocks. As I approach the fallen tree, now a hollowed log. I hear a faint snickering, I walk up to the log wondering what it was when I hear a sound behind me, i turn around to see Zorua standing behind me. It laughed and said “you found me, now its your turn to hide, but first we need to even the odds” before I can ask what it meant by that. It walks up and rubs against my leg. I begin to feel weird as the world seems to grow around me, I look at my hands to see that my pointer and middle finger have merged along with my ring and pinkie finger. Then the stubs move together and turn into one stub-like paw, while the color changes from my skin color to a crimson red up to my mid forearm where it turns gray. I feel my back arch and use my hands to stop my fall only to find that I can no longer stand upright. Once im Zorua's height, the changes end, I look over myself and smile, a mixture of happiness and confusion swirling in my mind. I look at Zorua and with a mischievous smile, turn and run off into the grass. While im running, I snap back to reality when my alarm clock goes off, signaling the start of my school day.
    2. So this is what lucid dreams are supposed to be like. (5/17/11)

Today I was blown away as the true potential of lucid dreaming was revealed to me.

As I rested in my bed early morning, In hopes to go back to bed and possibly have a lucid dream. As I slowly drifted in and out of dreaming, I became aware of it, and gained lucidity. Initially, this lucid dream felt like the majority of my other lucid dreams- hazy, boring, detached, possibly on the verge of waking up, more of a daydream were I have to push myself to be creative.- but then things started to change. I grounded myself, and let the lucid dream slowly sink into place. Overtime, the dream continued to gain clarity and focus. Two aspects of this dream that I had only dreamed of having (no pun intended) were also slowly becoming present:

      1. A dream that keeps on creating itself.

I found this interesting that I was still surrounded by huge ever-changing plot lines; normally it's like my creative dream mind detaches.

      2. The world felt magical and peaceful with such vivid and inspiring colors.

I have had only one lucid dream that actualy carried this feeling into the dream, all of my others have felt dull, boring, and slightly colorless

This was a huge step for me, because these two aspects are what I truly love about dreams! The dream I had was roughly and hour long, so I'll just jot down some of the interesting events. Basically, I was in a house trying to ground the dream and not wake up. Now here something happened that has never happened before. I started spinning, as fast as I could, a quick close of the eyes, astounded upon opening them that I really did in fact teleport! It finally worked! Not only that, but I also manipulated my environment. I would close my eyes, count to three and then point as I opened them. I don't know why I did this, but for some reason it worked! I decided to slow down from all the dreams I'm having, and think about my dream goals, I honestly think that I completed every last one. One that I'll mention, was looking in a miror. This held a lot of significance for me, because of all of the symbolism that a miror has. I heard that mirrors can be scary, so I was interested to see what my subconscious portrayed me as. As I slowly walked towards the mirror, I saw two black and white objects slowly merge into one. It was my brothers face, with a surprised look on his face, head and eyes fixed on something above me and to my left. Really an amazing experience, and I'm trying to find significance.

Like I said, I really just wanted to capture the achievements of this dream then the experience itself, which to say the least was the most successful LD I've ever had!

Edit: I just realized that this is most likely due to the fact that I was on a rem rebound cycle tonight. The day before I only got an hour of sleep. It was worth it

    3. Activity Signups

by , 05-16-2011 at 06:29 AM (The Lab Notebook)
I'm in a big building of some kind. I'm high-school-aged, and I'm walking around in the building as part of a group of other high-schoolers [none of whom I recognize individually]. There's a tall table with a bunch of half-sheets of paper on it. They're sign-up sheets where we can sign up for the activities we want to do at an outdoor camp we're going to go to. I and several of my friends sign up for tennis. I think, Since when am I interested in tennis? [I'm not, in real life; I haven't even played it since high-school PE.] I also notice that one of the activities we can sign up for is beer pong. This strikes me as odd, too, since we're high-school students. Then I recall that in a previous dream in this setting [which, once again, I don't recall at all now that I'm awake], I learned that either the drinking age here in this setting is 18, or there isn't one at all, I'm not sure which.

      -----------------------------------------------
      Side notes:

I managed to have a lucid dream last night, despite having drunk wine several hours before going to bed. I think the fact that the last thing I did before bed was writing and posting a dream journal entry helped a lot. In this dream, I was aware that I was dreaming, but the thought of going off and doing my own thing, rather than going along with the dream plot, didn't even cross my mind. I don't know why not. I also don't remember why or how I became lucid.
    4. May 14, 2011- Almost There!

      by , 05-15-2011 at 05:33 AM
First, may I apologize for being lame and not posting for two months. Two words: AP Test.
Secondly, I had a kind-of lucid dream last night! Woot! I remember looking in my closet, because it was combo clothes storage/refrigerator but the eggs and butter were going bad so I wanted to use them immediately. So I made cookies and returned to my closet, and in the back was a doll-thing that could move and talk and was my friend. It came out of the closet (teehee) and sat on the edge of my bed, and as I looked over at it I noticed my alarm clock. The numbers on the clock kept changing, and I thought to myself, "Wow, it would be pretty cool if I was dreaming!" Then I looked at my hand and realized I had six fingers, and I went lucid instantly, but I was so excited that I woke up.

    5. Not Quite Completing an Old Flying Goal (Night of April 27-28)

by , 05-09-2011 at 06:10 AM (The Lab Notebook)
[This is a catch-up post. I had another good lucid dream on the night of April 27-28, 2011. It took me a long time to get around to finishing the writeup of this, but here it is.]

Awake, Non-lucid, Semi-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

I'm at a meeting of my local community advocacy and action group. It's being held in a big, spacious, public multipurpose meeting room. There are no chairs or tables in the room, just empty floor space. A lot of the people there are wearing our team color, orange. We're electing the new secretary for the group. The election process begins with everyone who wants to run for the position walking out of the crowd and going and standing in a line, facing the rest of the crowd. My friend J. is there, and she starts to go and stand in the line of candidates. I tell her something like, “Oh, don't run for this. You already do so many things.” I'm specifically thinking of choir when I say this. [In real life, J. and I are in choir together, but she's not part of the advocacy group.] I say this to her because I don't want her to get overwhelmed with too many responsibilities.

[Later, different cycle.] I'm walking through House #1. Everything looks gray, dimly-lit and fuzzy. Because of that, I suspect that I might be dreaming, so I do a reality check. [I don't remember what it was; I think it was trying to go through a solid object.] It doesn't work. “Aw, nutbunnies!” I say aloud, disappointed that it isn't a dream.

And yet, a part of my mind is still suspicious. As I continue walking through the house, I decide to try doing the nose-pinch RC. This time, it works. I'm delighted to find that I really am dreaming! Breathing through my pinched-shut nose feels really cool, too. I do it several times, to verify that I'm dreaming and to experience that cool, weird sensation. It's been a while since I've experienced it.

As usual, I'm eager to just explore the world of this dream and see what there is to see, so I leave the house through the front door and go outside into the yard. It's a bright, sunny, breezy day, and now everything is in color, rather than shades of gray. I walk through the front gate and out into the front yard. Standing on the front lawn between the hedge and the liquid-amber tree, I allow myself to be lifted up into the air on the breeze. It's really fun. “Wheeeee!” I say aloud, enjoying the moment with pure, childlike playfulness. The wind blows me into the branches of the liquid-amber tree, which are pointy and scratchy. I return to the ground.

Our brown car is sitting on the north side of the driveway, the side furthest from the front lawn.
[I think it might have been the Mazda we had when we lived in House #1, not the Honda we have now.] I decide to continue practicing my intangibility skills by passing through the closed car door to get into the car. As I start to go through the door to the back seat on the passenger side, the door becomes semi-transparent and stretches inward, like a rubber sheet. I get all the way through and feel the door pull away from my body as it snaps back into place. It feels like rubber, too. I'm now sitting in the back seat of the car. “Holy s***, that was awesome!” I exclaim aloud. I'm really proud that I succeeded in going through the car door like that.

I sit in the back seat of the car for a moment, just taking in the realism and detail of its interior and basking in the glow of my achievement. Then, I decide to get out of the car the normal way, by opening the door. By the time I get out, a van has parked on the other half of the driveway, right next to my car, and there are people getting out of it.

I think, Hey, I'm here in the dream version of my old neighborhood. This would be a great chance to go fly up to the top of the baseball backstop in the park. So I start flying toward the park. To get there, I fly above the streets that lead to it. “I’m not exactly going as the crow flies,” I remark to myself. I realize that I'm following the same route to get from my house to the park that one would follow if one were driving between the two points; I'm just following that route out of a habit that was ingrained into my mind in the real world. The thought crosses my mind that I might wake up from this at any moment, but I immediately push the thought away and ignore it, because I want to stay in the dream.

I arrive at the park. “I’ve always wanted to do this!” I exclaim.
[Some background for DV readers: As a child, I once came across a book about out-of-body experiences in a bookstore. I didn't buy it, and I was too afraid to try to induce an OBE, but I thought the idea was really cool. I fantasized that if I were ever to have one, the first thing I would do would be to go to the park, fly to the top of the chain-link baseball backstop, and sit on the edge of it. I wanted to do that in this dream because it was something I had wanted to do for many, many years.]

I start flying through the park toward the baseball backstop. My dad is there, and he stops me and shows me a way to hold my arms that will help me fly better and faster. I do what he shows me: hold my arms out in front of me, elbows bent, fists out, right fist in front of my left one. He tells me that I can fly faster by pushing my right fist further away from me and pulling my left one in closer to my chest, as if I were pulling a rope taut. I try it, and it works. During this training session, I notice that I’m suddenly wearing red boxing gloves.

Using this new method, I continue flying toward my goal. It's a long, long way to the place where I think the baseball field should be, over wild, natural terrain. When I get to where I think it should be, there is no baseball field there, just a broad area filled with rocky hills. I spot the backstop among the hills and land next to it.

“What?” I say aloud, surprised and confused. There is a metal baseball backstop, but it's tiny
[maybe two feet tall], overgrown with weeds, and covered with the spiky seed pods from liquid-amber trees. “That’s pretty lame!” I say in disappointment. I turn away and fly back the way I came.

I eventually fly back to what appears to be the counter of a sporting-goods store. I land there and take off the red boxing gloves I'm still wearing, and the bicycle kneepads I have on my feet. I then leave the store by flying through the big, high, square window above its front door. Flying through it creates a sort of flashing, ripple effect in the glass, somewhat similar to what I saw the first time I went through glass, but more visible and flashier. I knew I could fly through glass intangibly because I’d done it before.

I'm now flying outside. There is a concrete parking structure that looks a lot like the one at the local mall right in front of me, and there is another park off to the right. I head toward the park to fly up onto one of the baseball backstops there. As I’m making my way over there, I hear the very faint sound of smooth jazz music. I realize that there’s only one place that music could be coming from: my parents’ clock radio.
[I notice that the music is playing at normal speed, too – this demonstrates to me that time does indeed pass at the same speed in my lucid dreams as it does in the real world.] The combination of the music and my knowledge of where it's coming from cause the dream to fade and me to wake up.

      Lucid #10 (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

It's morning. My mother in outside my room in the bathroom and she is using the hairdryer. I wake up and turn my cellphone on. I am really sleepy. I leave the phone next to me and close my eyes. I 've tried 2-3 times to wtbt during the night but i didn't succeed. This time i don't remember trying, or even thinking about it... Witout notice a girl friend of mine is lying next to me. I was lying on my right side in the same posture as when i was awake. She was lying behind my back, i couldn't see her. She is talking. It's like she's awake for quite some time. Her voice is clear and cheerful. I feel like we are a couple or sth. She asks me some totally random questions. As if she's a child that wants to learn RIGHT NOW why the snow is white. I moan "aha... yup.." trying to sleep. I still hear the haidryer. She get up and walks over me to get off the bed. I slap her ass for waking my up and i sit up. I stare at her as she's standing next to my wardrobe. After a while the situations starts to seem kinda weird... I do a nose RC. Most times everything gets crystal clear when i do that. This time everything gets burry but i am lucid. I try to look at her. She is still standing there and she 's looking at me, but i can't see her face. It's blurred out. I still hold my nose and breath, waiting to stabilize. I feel that dizziness coming, like the dream is fading away. I close really strong and open my eyes wide some times and after a few seconds the dream gets stabilized. I now see her. She has shorter hair and doesn't look like her waking version much but i know it's her. She comes near me, in front of my face and says: "HIIIII THEEEEEREEEE!". The dream fades. I wake up in the same posture i was before. Nose RC. Yup i 'm awake...

    7. Lucid Dream #36

by , 04-29-2011 at 11:01 AM (Warbenifit156's Lucid Dreaming Adventures)
      Lucidity: 8/10
      Vividness: 9/10
      Length: ~20 Min.

I became lucid and started to talk to this girl, I wanted to have sex with her, but she said "no." She said that she was also lucid. I was very excited. Then, after that. I was holding a camera, walking around listening to other people's conversations. Then all of a sudden I was in a lab where they use a divice that makes you lucid dream. For some reason, some guy was upset that I was there. But let me proceed with the lucid dreaming thing anyways. Then I was walking in a large room with Zach. While we were I was thinking about my body for some reason while Zach was looking a bushes. Then I was vs. some guy, I believe it was Saskae from Naruto. I was slower than him, he was gaining speed each corner. I was suprised. Then I found out that I was in someone else's dream. Then I was trying to send a post card or something to myself. I didn't understand why. But some people wanted my flash drive for some reason. Then I was in a large building and someone grabbed my flash drive from me and started tearing it up. It contained information of lucid dreaming. Then I had the flash drive again for some reason and was blocking a door from somebody. Someone set up a timer for me so I would wake up. It said 17:03 and counting. I really wanted to wake up for some reason. I had a false awakening. I thought I was on my computer and was distributing the data from the flash drive onto the computer. I asked my dad if they could stop it and he said "no." It was about 70GB or more. But it worked, I could view pictures and videos as I'd like. But then I was dreaming again and desired some pussy. And for some reason I couldn't find a girl to fuck. Then I woke up. Trying to DEILD but I believe failed.

      EILD?

In a warehouse for the first time. Walked in with Calvin,'it was huge. Randomly RCed. Upon lucidity I felt a shift in not only consciousness, but also in mood. I wandered re store musing at the little things and wondering about lucidity. I remember seeing so many advertisements and banners that looked like real products up close, i would realize they weren't even real words when I got even closer. I I wandered the store trying to remain stable and calm, I explored the storage in the back, and then found myself in a fire exit. This whole lucid dream my thoughts were constantly running in my dream head I guess you would say. In the fire exit room I had talked to this woman for a little while and don't remember anything after. This was one of the longest lucid dreams I've had (probably 10min) and I think it was caused by the way I was so calm and didn't do anything over the top. I always feel so satisfied in lucid dreams just knowing I'm lucid, but when I wake up I always wish I would have pushed myself a little harder.

*I say EILD with a question mark because I'm not sure if it was a lucid dream app I was using (dream controller), or a coincidence.
    9. Breathing Underwater, Talking with DCs, and Trying a Drug

by , 04-21-2011 at 06:49 AM (The Lab Notebook)
Awake, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

The moment I see my old college campus start to appear out of the darkness, I realize, Oh, cool, a dream is starting. There are lots of multistory buildings all around me, and it's a beautiful day with a vivid blue sky and puffy white clouds. The dream is fairly vivid [and remains so throughout its entire length]. I observe that the environment around me is consistent with the environment I've observed in previous dreams set on my old college campus. [Although, now that I think about it, I think the dreams I have that are set there feel similar more than they look similar. Being in the environment always feels the same, but I think the layout, the spatial relationships of buildings, is slightly different each time. The style of the buildings is always pretty much the same, though.]

I walk along among the buildings, and eventually
[possibly after a dreamskip?] find myself inside somebody’s house. The living room has been filled with chlorinated water and turned into a big, deep indoor pool. The second floor of the house is open to the living room, and has a balcony-like walkway that surrounds the living room on three sides. The water comes almost all the way up to the level of the walkway. When I see the pool, I think, This is a dream. I should be able to breathe underwater. I get into the water and start swimming down into the pool, testing this hypothesis. It proves to be correct. By consciously focusing on the knowledge that I can breathe underwater here, I can breathe underwater. While I'm swimming, I feel the resistance that one normally feels from the water when swimming, but not the wetness; I still feel completely dry. I also notice that breathing feels exactly the same as it normally does when I'm breathing air; those parts of my body don't feel any resistance from the water, whereas my skin and limbs do feel it. [I think this experience further demonstrates the same phenomenon that lies behind the nose-pinch reality check: doing something that would obstruct your ability to breathe in reality will not obstruct it in a dream, because your real body is still breathing normally.]

I resurface, then dive again, this time going all the way to the bottom of the pool. I find a small, square sticker there, part of a board game. I retrieve it and bring it to a dream character who is sitting on the walkway at the side of the pool opposite where I came into the room. He's playing the game that the sticker came from. I hand him the sticker, saying something like, “Here. This is part of your game. I brought this back for you.”

The dream character accepts the sticker and asks me to go over to the far corner of the room (near where I came in) and retrieve another, similar sticker that he dropped. I agree to do so. Before I dive under the water again, I pretend to take a deep breath and hold it, for the sake of appearances. I don't want any of the several dream characters who are around to realize that I have superhuman abilities. I dive toward the bottom corner of the pool at the far end of the room, where two walls come together at an acute angle. I find not only another sticker like the first one, but also a die, a playing card, and other, similar small objects from games. I pick them all up.

I decide to try to get back to the second floor by flying.
[Apparently because I want there not to be,] There's no water around me anymore. With a short grunt, I try unsuccessfully to take off. I decide to just climb the nearby stairs to get up to the second-floor walkway.

I walk along the walkway and stop in front of the male dream character playing the game. He asks me, “What was that grunt?”

“I was trying to jump up and fly back to the second floor,” I answer.

      “Why?” he asks.

I throw my handful of small game pieces at him. “Because you're a dream character!” I exclaim.
[Or it might have been, “Because I'm dreaming!” I don't quite remember. The main point is that I dropped all pretense that I was a regular person with no superhuman abilities at this moment, and admitted to being the dreamer.]

A second later, my conscience kicks in. “Wait. I don't know why I did that,” I say. “That was rude. I'm sorry.”

A woman about my age with short, dark hair joins our conversation at this point. She starts off by addressing me, saying something like, “That's right. You're dreaming.” She, the game-playing DC, and I all proceed to have a long, in-depth conversation on the subject of lucid dreaming.
[Unfortunately, I don't remember much of what we said. What I do recall is an overall impression that this woman was an expert on the subject, and that her attitude toward me was that of a supportive older mentor. She seemed interested in my progress and how much I had learned so far.] The dark-haired woman asks me something like, “This is your fortieth or so lucid dream, right?”

“Forty-seventh, or fiftieth, something like that,” I answer.

At another point during the conversation, another guy my age, named Andy, is also there in the room. The dark-haired woman points him out to me as another dreamer.
[I had no intention of anything like that happening to me. If it did, it was completely without my desire or consent.]

Andy, the woman, the game-playing DC, and I all walk out of the building onto the coast by my university. We're facing a sea cliff with train tracks running along it. We walk along and come to the grassy, topmost level of an amphitheater, built into the land where it slopes down toward the beach. Below the grassy part are many levels of bleachers made out of a metal mesh.

“I really like floaty things,” I observe, addressing the woman. I point out that there are a lot of colorful helium balloons around, and a lot of the other people who are around are flying small, colorful kites. I have one myself.

The other DCs who are there are passing around a strange contraption. At its center is a device that has a chamber in which marijuana leaves are burning, and a fan. The fan is keeping the semi-transparent plastic garbage bag that surrounds the device inflated. The bag is there to keep the marijuana smoke in, but there is a tear in the plastic near the knot, allowing the smoke to escape at a limited rate so that one might inhale it. One of the other, female DCs in the scene comes over to me and my group and offers us the contraption. The other DCs in my group accept it first and take hits from it, then offer it to me. My immediate reaction to getting the opportunity to try marijuana is, Yay! I can do this without getting in trouble or risking the health of my real body, and if I do it, I can brag about it on the forums!
      [Meaning DreamViews, of course.]

I accept the blown-up garbage bag and maneuver it so that the tear in the plastic is near my face. This isn't easy to do with the fan device constantly inflating the plastic from the inside and making it move around. When I've gotten the tear as close to my face as I can, I inhale some of the smoke through my nose. It has a plant-like smell. The drug doesn't make me feel any different, nor does it change the environment around me.

My companions and I sit down on the metal mesh bleachers to watch a concert
[or something like that]. As I sit down, I try to be careful not to get the string of my kite tangled up with the strings of my companions' kites.

There is a blue reusable shopping bag from Wal-Mart lying just to my left on the metal bleachers. It comes to life and starts wrapping its handles around my left arm and constricting its handles tightly, much like Devil's Snare from the Harry Potter universe. I'm not sure if this occurrence is a weed-induced hallucination or just ordinary dream weirdness. I look up and to my right at the dark-haired woman, who is sitting next to me. She looks back at me with an expression that communicates, “Yeah, this is what I was expecting would happen; how are you going to deal with it?”

I'm a little frightened by the shopping bag attacking me, but I'm still secure in the knowledge that this is a dream, so I'll be safe and sound when I wake up. I close my eyes and think to myself, Take me home.
[By which I mean, “Take me back to the real world.”]

I then woke up for real, just as I had desired to do. I was amazed to discover that a full 6 ½ hours had passed since I'd gone to sleep. When I recalled my reaction to the opportunity to smoke marijuana, I laughed derisively at myself and thought, Oh, boy. I need to sort out my priorities.

      -----------------------------------
      Side notes:
It's certainly fitting that I dreamed about smoking marijuana on the morning of 4/20. I first learned about 4/20 from peers in college, but on a conscious level, I had completely forgotten about it until I found the “Happy 4/20!” thread on DreamViews this morning. My subconscious sure remembered, though. :-)

I've never tried marijuana in real life, so I can't compare the reality to the dream. That might also be why it didn't really make me feel any different: my brain doesn't really know what it's supposed to feel like to be under its influence. I have drunk alcohol in real life, but I haven't done so in a dream yet. If I ever do, I expect it will probably feel just like it does in reality.

I noticed something today: When I write dream journal entries, I write like a scientist. I write down what I've observed and compare my new observations to previous ones. Sometimes I draw conclusions from all these observations. Often, I perform experiments within the dream and report on their results.

I was in a bedroom with K and a some man I didn't know. They were showing me women who could be potential mates. The first two were elderly! There was a buff gay man. And the only two ladies my age (and attractive) were married. So I decided to roam the house I was in search for my own mate. At the moment I left the room I became lucid.

I started by looking at my hands and interlacing the fingers. I was kind of amazed at the reality of the thing. I went into the hallway and down the stairs, playing with my hands and repeating out loud "I am dreaming, I am dreaming". At the next hallway I even did a little dance to show off the amount of control I had. It was fun! I flipped on a light switch in that hallway and was kind of surprised it worked. Two of the three lights went on anyway. I opened the first door where I could hear voices. Two girls were vacuuming their apartment, even though I don't think there was any carpet. I tried to make myself invisible so I could pass by undetected, I do this a lot. The first girl still saw me as I tried to pass through her like a ghost. I went to the second girl to see what she looked like, got her to look at me then tried to make her kiss me. She stood staring at me for a moment, like she was thinking it over. Then she kind of gave in, leaned forward for the kiss, I leaned forward and must have closed my eyes, because at that moment I lost all lucidity and dreaming and woke up with my eyes closed.

This isn't the first time something like this has happened.. I don't think. I think maybe it's due to closing my eyes in the dream, without my brain focusing on anything I wake up. The complete opposite effect that touching things around the world and looking at my own body has.

I NEED to come up with an intent and practice it throughout the day and repeat it at night so I have a goal in my dreams instead of looking for hot girls.

      DILD

Today I had a DILD after deciding to go back to bed in the morning. I was talking to a friend in a dark room, and at certain times I would look them in the face, and realize I had mistaken them for abided one of my friends from school. This happened twice before I decided to reality check. This time when I looked at the clock like I always do, it would only change one minute every time I would look at it. I found this bizare because normally when I look at a clock it flashes letters numbers and pictures. What happened next was new for me to. Upon lucidity, I started crawling out of my room (which I guess was where I was before, except by myself now) because I was so tired. I could barely keep my eyes open, it was like I had just woken up from the middle of te night. I remembered my goals and started licking things, I only licked two things... haha. I then heard my mom and asked her if she was my dream guide. She said "no." I kept calling out for my dream guide as I crawled down the stairs. I then asked my little brother who was on the computer, resulting in him blowing me off like he always does. It was interesting though, he gave mumbled something about how I should deild, then noticed I was waking up, and started spinning in a circle to no avail. I tried to deild waking up, but didn't maintain awareness, slipping into another dream. A false awakening where I woke up where the dream left off. This makes me think the whole experience was just a dream about being lucid?

      It was weird...

      DILD

The way that I gained lucidity today was very bizarre, and under weird circumstances. I looked at a clock as a reality check, after my friend pointed out a tiny fish swimming in the murky water of a dirty bucket/bin that was sitting on my track field at school which I found odd above all the otter totally bizare things going on around me. Long sentence. Its hard to explain but I only mentioned the part above so that I will be ableto remember later. Upon lucidity, I noticed my dad start to say weird things to me about lucid dreams I believe, tips or something, but I wasn't listening. I also think it's worth noting that this has been my only LD that didn't start in my bed. Anyways, I found it interesting when I looked at a clock too; it was flashing numbers like usual, but this time it was even flashing videos of football games. I dont know why, but I decided that I should jump up and try and fall/sink through the ground to a different location, and as I was doing so, my alarm went off.

What happened leading up to this dream was bizare too, this is (I believe) the first time that I've had a long dream leading up to lucidity. I was at our schools soccer field-which was where I had a track meet yesterday- and I was actuall on the soccer team. We had went inside the high school, and I was being extremely rude and cocky towards the Otha younger leagues that were listening to their coach in the halls. It was like I had to earn my respect from them, I even bumped into one with a stiff shoulder, knocking him over, and holding him on the ground by his kneck. When we arrived at the bathroom, which was our destination, my conscience set in and I started to cry. One of the little kids on our team told asked me what position I played, and told me I'd be great no matter where I was. I then went back to the coach of the younger kids team and apologized, causing him to forgive me.

    13. 13th and 14th lucid dreams

one was a WILD and the second was a WILD/DILD. WILD: I got off the couch and tried to stabilize the dream by feeling my face and the couch, and verbal commands. the commands did not work because i could not talk. the dream quickly faded. after that i guess i had another WILD because I remember vibrations and HI. it seemed more real than my usual dreams, too, but it was like a false awakening. i was trying to turn my mp3 player volume down, but it stayed at the same level. then i remembered the vibrations i had just felt and realized i was dreaming. then i woke up. i hope i have better luck in the future.
    14. In a dream, you're fair game.

I was about to get on some weird ride that was starwars related. I noticed everyone around me were old friends of mine, from Jr. High...heck they even looked like 12 and 13 year old versions of themselves. The ride connected to the track that was over our heads so our feet would be dangling, and there was a small glass screen in front of us. There was an announcer saying we had to destroy all of the enemies, and then slowly the view increased, and it was like full screen.

After that I found myself on the school bus with those same kids. I sorta knew I was lucid, but I was just playing along. I asked Kim was she going on the next upcoming field trip, and she said no.

I remember something else where I was in a movie theater, and smoke kept rising up. I looked down and someone had left their ash tray there. I kicked it out of the way, and one of the dc's got a little upset (I don't know when this happened....maybe at the begining)

I found myself on the roof of a mansion. Two stories down there was a pool that was on fire. I thought to myself "my brain would never give me something that I couldn't handle". I jumped down and that actually solidified my lucidity, because the scene changes kept making me snap out of it. I saw my friend J at the pool, and said "oh man, do I have to fight you"? He had his shirt off, and was looking jacked up. He said "no, you did that in 01, I got someone else for you". This woman came out of no where. Pool was looking normal again, as she approached, ready to fight. "I have to fight her?", "yes". I got into a southpaw stance, and waited on her. She threw her right hand, and I grabbed it with my left cushioning the blow as it hit me in the stomach. At the same time, my right cross rocked her head. She did the same thing, and so did I. I knew I was hurting her more than she was hurting me, so I started throwing combos with every blow, and just absorbing her body blow. I was starting to get tired, and she did this thing....it almost looked like she was downloading something off the matrix.

She told me she got enough information she needed to fight me, and pretty much went into overdrive. My punches didn't have as much effect, but I didn't let her land a single one after that. I switched up my entire style, and became more offensive. After a few combos, it was obvious that they were having effect again, and the dream ended.
    15. Three Consecutive DILD's

I don't remember any of my other dreams, but this dream lasted about three dreams anyway. The beginning is the continuation, or replay of a dream I had a few days ago where there was a secret society for people with superhuman abilities (Kelly the Tigress).

The beginning of the dream, I was not lucid and it was kind of fuzzy not very vivid at all. I was in the secret society, but it was now headquartered at a wierd sort of birthday party thing in the middle of a small town sort of town. I became lucid because I was frustrated with the lack of vividity.

      1) As soon as I became lucid, my character sort of lost her special abilities; they became extremely hard to use at the least. I lost my awareness of the entire dreamscape, either because I was distracted by the odd party thing or the snap from no details to lots. After a very small amount of time being lucid I took control. I replayed the party thing a bit so that I could figure out what that was about. All I remember about that dream is that it was on a beach in the middle of the forest right next to the ocean which was made by a drainage pipe that took up the entire beneath of the beach, but was only a hand in diameter. There were very old people, very young people, and there were five or six people with special abilities like me, but they kept fading in and out of the dream because they didnt mesh with the overall aura of the dreamscape. There were candles, beer, cake, balloons, kettle corn, and odd stuff that was small town passed through the generations type cooking. I didn't eat anything, mostly because I am snooty and don't eat human food in dreams. I kept becoming a kid that was sitting underneath these old guys chairs. He was watching, not hiding. At some point I got bored and walked towards the town from the party.

      2) This was of course the first space between dreams because though it was technically the same dreamscape, there was the space beyond dreamscapes between me and my destination. But when I came into my second dream I was on the hillside just outside of town. I spent a very small portion of the dream looking around the town. It was mostly empty, either I had not kept the population when I passed from dream to dream or the entirety of the population was at the party. It was almost dawn in this dreams time and so I spent the rest of the dream trying to fly to get a better view. I tried handstands with powerful pushes up but I could barely stay above building level with that much power. I ran up the side of a building at some point, but I couldn't stay in the air. In dream time I was trying to fly for about two days. By the time I got frustrated and stopped the town had been populated, but I don't really like the small town snooty type of people. So, I found the main road and walked into the part of town that was where everybody's houses were.

      3) At the edge of the main road there was a lack of dreamscape though I knew where I was going. So, this is dream three. For some reason the very hot guy from the movie on syfy that I can't remember the name was there. He has silver hair and I think he is on Sons of Anarchy too. Very delicious hunk of meatsuit right thar. Anyway I saw him walking home looking all glum. I could feel in his aura that he was the outcast of the town, spends most of his time drunk in the bar, drunk working odd janitor/household fixer type jobs. I became absolutely distracted by him. I followed him home and then flirted like a whore for a bit then we crawled under his house and uh, well I was a pleased lady and he was a very... he passed out after his third orgasm and I had to phase him through the floor into his house where his mastiff freaked the fuck out. He woke up at some point and we had a very nice breakfast eggs, gravy, biscuits, and sausage. Then I began feeling my physical body and from the amount of light I could feel streaming through my window it was about nine. So, I woke up. Took two false awakenings to get really awake.

Nothing too odd about this dream other than the vivid detail of the guy from real life. I am pleased with my progress in fixing this, I can't fly when I am lucid thing. I got higher, stayed in the air longer, then I usually do.
