    1. Fun to be Lucid

      by , 09-11-2015 at 10:48 AM
      Hey 🌀☀️⭐️💫
Got lucid this morning at around 6 am
Woke at 2.45 pursued myself to wbtb -
Got my moon time coming up so emotions are a bit high - got back in bed at 3.40am
Laid on back for about an hour relaxing + Mantra and Vis - fell asleep a couple of times - turned on to side - same again - Then went back on to back at about 6am and ..... got Lucid

Felt myself really trying different ways To help myself into the dream with body movements and mantras : at one point It was usual HI and noise but I am imagining I am on a roller coaster ( did this spontaneously as I went with the flow of the noise - I am pleased I was able to adapt myself into the dream! ) with my eyes closed going this way and that ( into the dream I felt I could open my eyes at one point so I very gently opened them into the dream - 😄
🌅 So I was running about in a busy train station / Mall - I saw my bf and went running over and jumped on his shoulders
" We are dreaming and this is my dream !"" Do you know?" I energetically asked him
No he didn't ...as he was preoccupied and couldn't be present he said something about being busy ( which he is in wl at the mo) - I tried again then gave up and went to have food at one of the food stalls -
it was great as I had never eaten in LD before so I enjoyed it - Self awareness is low tho and Memory too - had fun tho

    2. Strange Infection (warning: gore)

      by , 05-22-2015 at 11:22 AM
Morning of May 22, 2015. Friday.

There are a number of (seemingly) random facets to this dream. The first event relates to hearing about a comet on a collision course with Earth (the name of the comet not being known or mentioned) and to strike somewhere in New England (America); either Maine or Vermont. I heard the name of the city as well at one point, but do not recall it - or there could have been a “reset” to explain the Maine and Vermont confusion as I seem to recall both conflicting elements. The unusual detail is that it will supposedly not cause that much widespread destruction even though it is indeed an entire comet that had apparently passed by the Earth before. I am not that concerned as I am on the other side of the planet anyway. However, my (deceased) sister Marilyn is also an in-dream character, and she has never been outside the United States. I do seem to be living amidst some of my present real-life features and circumstances, though the setting is ambiguous.

The next part of my dream seems set in possibly our Stadcor Street home in Brisbane (though it does have a few elements reminiscent of our present house’s kitchen). It involves an unknown family cooking an elephant bird (extinct birds from Madagascar - formally known as Aepyornithidae) as some sort of taste test or trial. It is not fully known of how ordinary citizens in a family got the body of an elephant bird, though there is a mention of someone having cloned one. There are only two smaller cooked pieces on the plate (which resemble distorted parts of normal-sized chicken legs with about half the skin removed - which unrealistically represents a part of the otherwise huge bird), but oddly, my dream “resets” twice - where I eat the two pieces as three different people in a sequence; a black female of about thirty, one of her sons of about thirteen (who I believe cooked the meal), and as myself as I am now. I do not question this strange transition and impossible series of events of the changing in-body perspectives - it is like spiritually “jumping” from body to body for a very short time to experience the essence of how the person is moving and what they are tasting. The female gets annoyed by a single small red ant crawling on the edge of the plate at one point and says loudly to “get that animal out of the house” and it seems to foretell failed cooking endeavors in the future until it is removed. This part is a bit unusual in that the two pieces of meat are “still” on the plate as if they had not already been eaten three times over in the few “resets”.

After this is another somewhat confusing event involving my sister (appearing as she was in about 1980) chiding me (but without that much emotion) relating to having broken a CD case holder, which is somewhat drawer-like (so that it would fit in a larger cabinet in the kitchen). There is a part near the front on one side that is broken off, which is a cylindrical piece of plastic, which makes it difficult to keep the cases uniform. I explain how it had happened due to it being difficult to get the case back in, being slightly wider than what the holder seemed designed for. As I look around, I notice a couple dish racks which look very similar to the CD case holders (and almost the same size - but for smaller plates) and notice that there had been a breakage in the same area along the top runner of the “drawer” in at least two of the racks. I then say how I am not the one who had broken the other items, reflecting that my sister had probably done it, making the act of me having broken the other item seem less eventful and me less deficient. There are about a dozen holders for either CDs or small plates in the kitchen, all on the same side of the room. At this point, I am also still aware of the comet approaching the other side of the planet (but again, supposedly not to be a catastrophe even though I am somewhat wary of the idea).

Finally, I notice that I have an open cut near the middle of my right middle finger, which seems infected. Green jelly is showing, which somehow seems to be coagulated blood. I start to reflect on the idea, as I pull out what seems like an entire “vein” that resembles a green-apple strand of toothpaste but more viscous, that I probably should have gone to the doctor and gotten antibiotics before it progressed this far. Still, I am somewhat relieved that I am able to pull out most of this green “vein” (all the way down to my wrist) before it infects more of my body, but as I do, I am aware that it will make my hand somewhat hollow and eventually useless. There is one area above the knuckle that seems more problematic and “lumpy” as a result of the infection and needs to all come out. In fact, as I mention it to my sister, my hand is already weakened and “hollow” near the wrist where it will probably just flop around unable to be used to pick things up. Most of the muscle seems to somehow be gone shortly after my act of pulling out the green “Gummy Worm”, even though it was only the one strand that I pulled out.

    3. Wizard's Birthday

      by , 05-05-2015 at 04:13 PM

      Non-lucid

I appeared on a weird looking house, it was full of artefacts and bizarre stuff. I was with my two best friends Ale and Ana Victoria and there was a man who was supposedly a wizard. He wasn't mean to us, he talked to us very politely and happy inviting us to his birthday party but i still had a sense of mistrust.
We went out of the house and encounter a lake, on the middle of the lake was a kind of round boat.
On the boat Laura, a old friend of mine, was discussing something with a guy.
I jumped into the water and started swimming.

      Blank space (No memory)

After that i remember entering to other house with the friends i was with at the beginning and encountering a guy who i was in kindergarden, we said hello to him as if we knew him from now and we talked to him. I dont really remember what we talked about but i do remember that he knew a lot of this wizard. We were going to his party, but it was kind of a mission to know if he was evil and to debunk him. The house was weird, it had many rooms, and it was almos a fun house, very magical.
The place had a little "roller coaster car" ride that would take us to the party, so we sat on it and i was on one of the corners. There was a guy who was giving us the tour around the magical house. I remember we passed through a table full of desserts. there was little pink cakes, a jar full of icecream and cake pinchos and other delicious desserts. I started eating and it tasted fantastic. The car started moving and we headed out that room.

      Blanck space (No memory)

Now i was standing somewhere with Ale and A.V., we were talking and Ale was telling me that she was now friends with Laura, i started looking for something on a pencils box when Ale told me that Laura said that she wanted to be in the same college major as me. And I just thought "Oh no!"

      WOKE UP.
    4. mmm, cheese

      by , 04-01-2015 at 01:37 PM
Basically I was wandering around the first two floors of this building looking for food. Some people had ordered it and we were waiting for it to arrive. But the guys who ordered it disappeared on me, so I went exploring a bit. I figured they had gone out but would be back soon. It didn't take long but when I came back to the area we were first in, they still were not back, but I found the food in a room off to the side. I didn't know which sub sandwich was mine, but I was so hungry I was picking off toppings and eating them until some one could show up and say what was what. The pizza was all eaten, but a huge amount of melted cheese had slid off the pizza and they just left it. It tasted so good. I ended up waking up before anyone came back though.

    5. A Strange Place To Work

by , 03-10-2015 at 03:51 AM (Xanous' Dream Journal)
      #420 - DILD - 5:27AM

I was experimenting with meditation pre-bed and after a brief awakening. This dream is the after effect. Sadly, lucidity was short, but the non lucid part was just as interesting.

I am late for work and I get there just before lunch break. There is some sort of potluck in the break room and I go ahead and help myself to a plate. My old boss is there and she is mad that I got into the food already, but I don't pay her much attention. I recall eating some brisket, corn and (I think) mashed potatoes. After I eat I am at the smoker tables outside talking about the meal. I find out that I was supposed to pay $2 for a plate and some people are irritated about it. I tell them I will pay the $2 later. Bethany asks how I like the brisket. She says it was made by her family and has been smoking for a whole year. She adds that when customers ask to have something smoked, they put the brisket back in. I say, "Wow! A whole year? Funny... it didn't taste smoked." I thought I should have looked for the barbeque sauce.

I am going into the bathroom. The entryway is long and maze-like. I quickly see that the bathroom is now co-ed. I remember how I joked about this. I feel odd walking up to a urinal as ladies come out of stalls. The urinal is very strange. There is an extra back wall with partition in the middle of a watery toilet bowl hole in the floor. It appears that this is a shared urinal. I pee getting it mostly on the floor. I have a thought that this seems a lot like one of my dream signs; strange bathrooms. Before I can think too much about this, I am distracted by the feel of my right foot touching bare on cold moist tile. I quickly pick it up and rest it on my other foot that has a shoe. I am really worried about getting floor pee on my foot and I try to forget the fact that it's actually too late. I focus back on my peeing and see there is now a realistically colored, plastic penis sticking up out of the water. This really freaks me out and I decide I am done peeing. Billy walks up to the other side of the urinal and I think to make a joke about the plastic penis, but I feel this is all too awkward. I wash my hands and step out of the restroom.

I am now in what looks like a really awesome cafeteria. I wonder when they remodeled and someone says it only took one day. I remark on this and the man seems to think I was scoffing. I assure him that I was just impressed by how fast they put all of this together. I see some pop machines and an intricate snack bar with the Pizza Hut logo. I say something to the man working the snack bar in Pizza Hut uniform and then pass by a salad bar. I look down the long room and see lots of tables and booths full of people. I turn right and see more vending machines and a strange public shower thing like at the beach. There is a sign that reads, "Warm your feet." My feet do feel cold, so I put my bare foot in the water. It's nice and warm, but I am getting totally wet from the over-spray, so I leave. I back up and see a hallway down to the right of all the people seated at restaurant booths.

In the hallway is a large, bald, white man with a basketball. He looks pretty fierce and is staring me down has he bounces the ball. I try to ignore the man and intend to walk past him, but I am distracted by the many over-head dryers blowing warm air on me. It feels really nice and warm and I'm much dryer now.

There is some slight memory gap or glitch and I am in the same hallway, but I am trying to get into a large slit in a wall. It's tight and I have to pull myself up a bit, but the strain of my muscles feels nice and I have lots of strength. However, I start to feel claustrophobic, so I pause. The bald man starts screaming at me, "Run! Get through! Scream like it's the Apocalypse!." I give a huge effort and I am suddenly past the opening in a very small triangular attic. I see that I have removed some metal plate from where the large slit in the wall was and I drop the screws that are in my hand. There are more openings ahead and to either side of me that look even more tight. The feeling of claustrophobia grips me again, but now something finally clicks and I realize this is all just a dream. I feel relief from my discomfort and tell myself that no opening is too small in a dream. All fear leaves me as I squeeze myself through a very small hole. I get caught at the waist, but I relax and let myself pour out like liquid.

I am outside, several stories high and I jump down. The feeling of falling grips my stomach so tight that my whole body tenses up and I grunt a bit. I smile at the illusionary dream sensation as I gently touch my feet to the grass on the ground. It's a bright, sunny day and as I look at my hands, I marvel that I am completely immersed in an environment that's generated in my own mind power. I look up and see I am outside of my workplace. I am on the south east side where there are no entry ways. I recall being really impressed with the oddities inside and want to work my way back in. I try to take a step forward, but I am surprised that my feet have zero traction. I begin to loose my sense of gravity and the dream starts to collapse. I incorrectly assume that I am waking up and forget to try stabilization.

I lose lucidity and have a short segment where I see the crazy bald man back inside the hallway with the dude from the cafeteria. Baldy forcefully kisses the other guy who seems disgusted and pulls away. He starts to storm off, but pauses and rushes back to return the kiss. Thankfully, I wake up at this point.

This dream may have been partially inspired by The Internship with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson.

    6. LD: Maggie Robb and Flying

      by , 02-03-2015 at 07:05 PM
I just had my longest lucid dream in months. I had it during a little power nap. It was slightly unstable, and I knew my time was limited. But I made it last a lot longer than I thought I would be able to.

      Dream:

This actually took place in my current house. That never happens. I think this is the first nonWILD that I started at my house. I was standing in my hallway. There were two little girls in the bathroom. The door was open and I saw them come out. I noticed that one of the little girls was Maggie Robb. At first it made total sense that she and her friend were there. But then I told her that I had recently seen one of her pictures on the internet, and what a cute picture it was. Then I started questioning why Mags was in my house. As I looked closer at her I could see that her skin was much darker than in real life and her hair was dark and wavy. At that moment I knew I was dreaming. I was excited. I ran to the computer room. But I could tell the dream was unstable and felt myself wake up.

I found myself sitting at the computer feeling sad that my dream hadn't lasted. I got on and started to look up something. But I had a lot of trouble getting the computer to work. And I also had this funny dizzy feeling like I was sideways even thought I was sitting up.

I suddenly had another suspicion that I may still be dreaming--that I had just had a false awakening. I ran out the back door. I was on a back deck that didn't really look like the real thing (but I didn't notice that). I jumped up on the railing. I had this thought that I should be careful, in case I was really awake. But I could tell I was lighter, so I just jumped right off the edge and started flying across the backyard. The first thing that came to mind was to either find Tom DeLonge or to find a radio so I could listen to Angels and Airwaves on. Both were on my to-do list. But I could tell I wasn't fully stable and that my time was limited. I didn't think I had the energy to summon anyone. I decided to look for a radio, but after a few moments of looking decided to abandon that quest as well. I decided to fly up higher. I could see low fog around the city with the early morning sum trying to shine through in places. I flew up and over the neightborhood.

I finally found a backyard that was full of people. I flew lower and decided I would find someone to interact with. This part is somewhat fuzzy. But I seem to remember finding someone and wanting to fly with them and had trouble keeping them up. I think they complained, because I remember explaining that this was the way I always carried people with me when I would fly. If holding their hand wasn't enough, I would get behind them and hold them under their arms.

The next thing I remember is looking for someone to kiss, but no one looked like the right person. I ended up going inside someone's house and seeing stuff for making pizza on the counter. I remember grabbing a handful of shredded cheese and pepperoni and stuffing them in my mouth.

And at that point I woke up.

    7. Eating Earthworms (NLD)

      by , 02-01-2015 at 09:14 PM
This was the last dream of the morning, and it seems to demonstrate the process of waking up, as the self-awareness and memories of my dream-self gradually align closer and closer with those of waking life.

Am I a human or a fox? It is unclear at first. I find an overturned clay pot on the walkway next to a building. It is full of writhing earthworms, and I eat a number of them, enjoying the slick chewy texture. Approvingly I think, "From the foxes' perspective, stocks aren't really working out. What they want is more protein, more easily accessible."

By "stocks" I mean the stock market, which I think must have crashed, and I have the impression that the world is in some post-apocalyptic state. I am on the grounds of a museum in Northern California, one with a park-like campus. I move across the lawn and encounter an enormous earthworm sliding out from under a bush. It is already several feet long, and I guess that this is only a quarter of its length. In diameter it is as thick as my arm. At this point my body is clearly human, and my thoughts are getting closer to those of my waking mind.

It surprises me to see a worm so large. I feel like I've seen ones this big in other countries, but never here. Still, I remember seeing those big banana slugs in the Bay Area, so maybe giant earthworms are part of the same ecosystem. Probably I never saw one before because they're usually underground. Why is this one on the surface?

I tear off a few inches of meat from the front end of the worm and nibble on it. It is much coarser in texture than the regular-sized worms I was just enjoying, and I find it unpalatable. I wonder if cooking would improve it or make it even worse, softer and mealier. I throw the uneaten portion to the ground, regretting that I took more than I'm able to consume. I should have started with a smaller sample. Poor worm. I look at it, and it is still crawling along as though nothing happened. I reassure myself that it will probably be fine; the missing section might even grow back.

I start to wonder if it is safe to eat raw worm. I always thought it was, and the couple I swallowed whole in the past had no ill-effects, but this one was enormous. It was sobering to learn that raw snails can harbor fatal parasites. Given that worms just eat rot and fungi, might they contain bad bacteria? After all, now that I've seen where they live... I think about my worm compost bins. I probably should look into this before eating any more.
    8. Driving a Carriage / The Phasing Game / Food

      by , 11-05-2014 at 01:45 PM
      Lucid Dream:

I found this carriage somewhere that interested me. It couldn't move without a horse, since it was made of only wood. I was able to lucidly make the wheels move and get it to go down this dirt road. The road began to get rough spots in it that were steep enough to make the wheels slip, I had to grab at the road in front in order to force the carriage over the steep spot. Finally there was a steep hill that was too much to go up until a tractor came along. I held onto the back of the tractor as it pulled the carriage up the hill. Right before the top, the tractor got stuck too. I figured it would be alright to just let the tractor go, so I did. Things went bad though, the tractor lurched forward and crashed, messing up a front wheel. The carriage fell backwards, almost vertically it seemed and crashed too. I was able to stay put where I was, and as I looked down on the carriage I thought my sister was inside of it, although I didn't realize it until now. I thought my sister had died in the crash and I was so sad and upset that it woke me up.

It was 1am something but it didn't take long for me to fall back to sleep.

      Dream 2

There were these group of people who were having a party, and playing some sort of game. They were standing in the same spot, merging in & out, like they weren't quite in phase with each other. It was like a willpower fight for dominance of the spot they occupied. I stepped into the pile of phasing people to join in this game. It took about a minute, but as I dominated the spot, one by one people would "die" and when I was the only one left I won the game. The people weren't really dead, they were just counted as dead within the game. Since I won the game, my DCs let me continue to party with them. That only lasted a while because I got sidetracked with packing stuff in a car.

      Dream 3

I was at this school where I found the food storage room. There was a jar of pickled bologna there so I took a big piece and started eating it. It tasted good and I just ate it as I walked around. For some reason I thought I needed to wash my hands so I went in to the restroom. It was weird to see that it was full, there were 20 guys in there using all the stalls & urinals. They were even sitting in the sinks, all but one sink. I ignored them as I used the only available sink to wash my hands. The paper towels were nice to wrap around the pickled bologna I still had. This was probably the most amount of times I have seen my hands in a dream yet it didn't make me go lucid.
    9. The Struggling Artist

      by , 10-28-2014 at 03:28 PM
      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #252: The Struggling Artist

I’m power-walking up a hill with Mom, describing a dream from earlier in the night where she’d had me take her to a spooky house to ghost-hunt. “That’s just over the hill!” she says, and as she walks up ahead, I become lucid.

She speeds away over the hill, which now looks oddly vertical and impassable. When I follow the line of the hill all the way up, I see a ceiling, and realize that I’m now indoors. It looks very much like my childhood home. I remember my intent to try bonus Task of the Month (play an instrument that doesn’t exist in waking life) with Dreamer, so I attempt a summon, saying something about how now we’re going to do the concert that we talked about. I also dimly recall that Dreamer is actually playing music right now in waking life. (True!)

I try a few different varieties of summon, first assuming she’s there, then reaching my hand behind my back, and finally the old “spin around, there you are!” Each time, I get a flicker of presence but I’m just not able to properly finish the summon. I wander into a version of my parents’ bedroom and I see Dad snoozing on his right side. Through the window I see that it’s morning outside.

I still want to try playing a dream instrument, so I hook my right pinky and left thumb together to form a pantomime trumpet. I blast a few notes into this “trumpet” and it sounds like very realistic but very, very poor trumpet-playing. I’m pleased that I made some dream music this way, but I still don’t consider this to be the success that I was going for.

I walk past my blissfully snoring dad to the window and start phasing through. I briefly get hung up on the mini-blinds but after a moment of calming down, I’m all the way through. I drift down to the ground (for some reason I’m on the second floor, unlike waking life where this room would be on the ground floor.) I again attempt to summon Dreamer, by imagining that she’s behind me. It doesn’t work, and I spin around for a few more of these attempts before deciding to focus on the instrument for a bit.

I hover on my back for a while, looking up at the reddish early morning sky, imagining that the dream instrument will take shape in my hands. I feel a sensation like bubbles pressing gently against my fingers, but I can’t seem to turn this into anything musical. I descend back to the ground, coming back to my feet again. There’s a pine tree here like when I was a kid, and I grab a hunk of bark off of the tree in frustration and stuff it in my mouth to gnaw on it. It tastes about like you’d expect, and I blow the chunks of bark out of my mouth in a big, satisfying spray. I’m not sure what to do now and I move half-heartedly toward the deck as
      the dream ends.

This dream is from the morning of October 24th, 2014.

Lucid #251: Let Them Eat Cake

I’m in a big kitchen with lots of family and a few friends, including Wife, my kids E and R, and my brother-in-law Muppet, and several others. As I’m looking around this huge kitchen, my mantra to “look for the dream” returns to me, and as I consider my situation, I become lucid.

I announce to the room that I’m dreaming. Muppet responds with some skepticism, so I say, “No, it’s true!” and levitate him up to the kitchen ceiling. This makes him become skinny like a piece of paper, which disturbs me enough that I reverse the levitation. He laughs and seems to accept that this is a dream.

“Oh hey, [Wife]!” I say. “You’re going to love this!” And I summon this buttery, bready, poofy baked good for her on a small saucer. I hand it to her, but I’m unable to resist rudely tearing off a piece and stuffing it in my mouth. So delicious! I mean, it’s just ridiculous how good this thing is. Wife chows down, too, and for a moment I can taste this awesome bread thing through her mouth as well.

I’m having an incredibly good time with all of this eating, so I decide that I want to make something for Muppet as well. I wonder whether it’s his birthday IWL but can’t remember. As I think this, everyone in the big kitchen starts singing “Happy birthday” to Muppet. I produce a huge birthday cake slathered in buttercream icing and now Muppet’s carrying it in his hands. “Thanks, man!” he says.

Family members start taking slices of the cake, and I scoop out a big handful of it like a barbarian and start eating it. It’s really good, although the icing is almost disgustingly creamy and decadent. I shove it down my pie-hole as fast as I can.

Wife says, “Hey, is this vegan?”

“This is a dream! Everything in here is vegan!” I happily enjoy several more huge bites of cake, stuffing icing in my face in a way that I haven’t done since I was a little kid. I’m munching away happily as
      the dream ends.
    11. Gimme Three

      by , 10-18-2014 at 06:01 PM
This lucid is from the morning of October 17th.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #246: Gimme Three

Wife and I are walking through a slightly crowded, nondescript room, being rapidly introduced to people. Some guy introduces me to his son, who looks like to be about 5 years old. “Gimme five, buddy!” I say, holding out my hand. But when I look down at my hand, I see that the pinky and ring fingers of my right hand are completely missing. I laugh, aware that I’m dreaming.

Most of the people in the room look sort of frozen now, so I walk out through the door to the top of a gently sloping wheelchair ramp. This young guy with cool hair is standing here flirting with two attractive young women. I want their help, and as I remember my goal to summon Dreamer, the three of them stop what they’re doing and turn to look at me.

I point down the wheelchair ramp, saying, “Is Dreamer right over there?” The guy nods, pointing just down the ramp at a woman who’s leaning against the wall. I approach her, and see that she’s in her early 30s, with short, very dark hair. She’s attractive but wears a pinched, almost grim expression on her face.

I just don’t feel like this is Dreamer. I say, “I’m going to keep looking,” and reach up to pat the woman on the shoulder. Somehow I completely miss and accidentally pat her twice on the left breast. I cringe with embarrassment and she mirrors my expression, but otherwise doesn’t react. “Sorry, not what I meant to do!” I say before hurrying down the ramp into an arcade.

I see a small group of young women playing skee-ball nearby and a little to the right, a couple more women in their 20s playing some kind of game where you skate back and forth along the floor. They look like they’re having a great time! It looks like a fun thing to join in on, but I’m also really eager to perform the Task of the Month (where you play an instrument that does not exist in waking life.)

There’s a low stone wall here, painted white. I try to show off a little dream control and take a big bite out of it, but the taste is dull and chalky. Suddenly, a set of double doors opens to my left, revealing a long hallway. I run toward it then just for some laughs I bellyflop onto the floor and slide the length of the hallway on my tummy.

At the end of the hall, I open another set of double doors that leads me into a large cafeteria-like room that’s filled with DCs. I don’t make my way very far into there before
      the dream ends.

I was in some sort of school running against some people in a gym, which was pretty crowded. While running, there was a lot of things that were distracting me like eating a sandwich, talking to friends, etc. In the end, I got 3rd place and some girl was teaching me how to eat a sandwich.
      -------------------------------------------------------

I was at a small reunion with Laurie and her friend Mitchell was there. I started picking on him and hitting him while he was cooking food. We went outside to fight and I think I hit him a few more times but then I went inside and served him some food and apologized.
      -----------------------------------------------------------

I was in Counter Strike and was killing the enemy team with an awp. Some stuff started happening about some paperwork or something.
      --------------------------------------------------------------

I was playing New Vegas and was getting mods for my game. I was also talking to Laurie. Some guy I knew was in the Marines and he got killed so I was getting him ready for the Morgue. I was talking to the person getting him ready for his casket and how he should look. I then talked with his parents on how they had to pay the guy.
    13. "10 Second Rule"

      by , 08-09-2014 at 03:57 PM (Threecat's Dreamtime)
I am in high school again, and am walking to my bus after school. Already lucid, but not very much -- don't remember how I got there! I am walking with a short, chubby black kid. I have just done something not very nice (don't remember what) and think I need to make it up to this DC. I give the kid a big hug.

"What are you doing?" he asks in disgust.

C/R my response. I think of how I might win this DC over. I reach into my pocket, hoping for some candy. I find instead a toy from childhood:

      BAD! CANADIANS BEING INSULTED!-roamin-buffalo.jpg

I give this to the DC and tell him it is a chocolate bar (?) DC takes a bite and complains that it is not a chocolate bar, and that it is indeed a plastic toy. I take the toy back and try to morph it into a chocolate bar. It's outward appearance changes somewhat, but not enough to be food.

The DC then asks, "Is this that kind of candy that once I chew it, it becomes candy in my mouth?"

"Yeah, sure," I say, still searching through my pockets.

      He begins eating it again.

"Oh my god," he cries, "It's glorious! It's like I'm flying through space on an imperial starship!"

I look down and see a piece of the action figure/candy on the ground. Yep, I pick it up and eat it. It tastes sweet but nothing spectacular. Definitely not flying through space. I
      wake up.
    14. Dave's Insanity Sauce

by , 06-05-2014 at 06:44 PM (Schmaven's Dream Journal of Randomness)
Sitting down to eat a big bowl of rice with fried vegetables, I decide to spice it up with some hot sauce. I take the cap off a bottle of Dave's Insanity Sauce "The Hottest Sauce in the Universe" and pour an insane amount onto my rice. I mix it in and taste it a little. It's really good. I add lots more until the whole meal is red from the sauce and gobble it down. Half way through the feast, I think it's strange how I am managing to survive such a spicy sauce in this amount. But it's delicious! So I just enjoy it.

    15. Lucid Dream: Pigging Out...again

      by , 05-29-2014 at 02:18 AM
I just remembered another lucid dream. It was actually the same night in Coyote Gulch, so I probably could have included it with the other LD from that night. But since I haven't posted here for a long time I think I will make this a whole new post so I can feel more active on DV.

      LD:

Something (now forgotten) triggered lucidity. I flew around and then landed next to some people who had a plate piled up with cookies and cakes. I decided that this was my chance to be a total pig and eat it all. At first I felt slightly self conscious about the people next to me whose food I was now eating. But I reminded myself that they were not real--just as this food was not real, which was the reason for me eating it in the first place. I picked up huge cookies and pieces of cake and stuffed the whole things into my mouth cramming in as much as I could. It was all fairly soft. As is typical of this sort of dream for me, the food's flavor was less strong than in real life, but I could still taste the sweetness, but it just helped encourage me to stuff even more in, in hopes of tasting it more. I also remember eating chocolate covered pretzels as well.

I know I sound like a huge pig. And I know I do this fairly often in my LDs. But I guess, it is so much better to do this in the privacy of a dream than in real life.

Unfortunately the chocolate covered pretzels made me crave real ones and after we climbed out of the canyon and entered civilization again I bought a package of them. I had earned them, after all, by hiking with a 45 pounds pack for 6 days.
