I am in a building that is laid out pretty much the same as my high school music wing.
According to the dream however, it was Millersville. It was an indoor practice and we had
just gotten a break so we left the room we were practicing in which was for some reason
the choir / orchestra room of my high school. I'm doing something with my friend Sarah,
from college, but I don't remember. I see another one of my friends in the hallway outside
my high school's band room, still supposedly Millersville University, and he shows me these
playstation controllers and we play a game where we have to use something on the controller
to pick the buttons out of the opponent's controller and the person who loses all his buttons
first loses... It was strange but then we started playing and at closer look the L and R buttons
turned out to be razor heads. I said "This probably isn't a very good idea." but kept playing
anyway. I was winning by far, I guess I was good at it. Each time I beat him, I would take the
controller he had and throw it into a pile and he would grab another. Eventually I had exhausted
all of the controllers and won by far. I then went to the window on the door of the band room
and see the orchestra practicing. I wonder why they are rehearsing in the band room and walk
      away from the door
      and the dream ends.

      "Extinction-Level Event"

(This was the most horrifying, emotional set of dreams I have had in a while...)

      The Earth had been invaded.
High above what could have been every major city in the world, as far as I knew, massive alien spacecrafts hovered. They had come on the scene and looked down upon us, over the span of about 3 days. We never once got to see what these aliens looked like. Instead, they communicated with us telepathically, without ever having to leave their vessels. At first, they didn't say much. I really don't remember if they said anything at all, the first few days. They just kind of loomed over our heads, apparently observing us. Their intentions, at this point, were completely unclear.

Life somewhat continued, even with the presence of our 'visitors,' looming overhead. One day, I had made a few rounds to see some old friends. I know I saw quite a few of my people, but the only ones that really stood out were my baby's mom (who I'll call "G"), and an old "friend with benefits." There was another ex who I believe I might have seen as well, but I'm not exactly sure. Anyway, at one point, G and girl #2 sort of merged and became one person, with different attributes from both (and, of course, I didn't find this strange enough to become lucid ). We went to a fast-food restaurant and either the person on the drive-thru headset couldn't hear me, or there was some other reason why the girl(s) ended up having to go inside through a back door, while I pulled the car around front. Later that night, we were back at an apartment that we were apparently sharing, except I had my own room, and she had one. Despite the knowledge that there were enormous, city-sized space-ships hovering high over our heads, it seemed like a pretty normal night. She ended up going to sleep early, and it wasn't until well into the night that I remembered she had the bag of food with her, and it was now locked away in her room. I didn't feel like waking her up to get it, though, and just shrugged it off. The next morning, she was simply back to G's normal self. All resemblance of the other girl had vanished. It was on the third day (I believe) of their occupation, that the aliens finally decided to give us some insight. Not bothering to pay us any door-to-door visits, the beings simply beamed their thoughts into our heads. We were informed, rather matter-of-factly, that our entire species was about to be exterminated, and that, since they had took up positions that would allow their weapons to sweep over the entire planet, any attempts of escape were completely unnecessary. Armageddon was upon us, and there was nothing we could do about it.

Panic. It barely even had enough time to set in, before the bombing began. Thunderous booms shook our apartment, each one seeming as if were right outside our window. I was absolutely terrified - not so much of death, itself, but the thought of suffering until death. G was, surprisingly, not very affected by the situation. She seemed 100% sure that we were not going to suffer; that it would be quick, painless and peaceful. The chorus of explosions - stomping around the area outside - didn't instill the same sort of confidence within me. With my eyes wide with fear, and my voice the epitome of hysteria, I screamed at her the possibility of our building collapsing, and the two of us being caught in the rubble for God knows how long, our bodies broken, buried, and left to die, waiting for hope that would never come. Amazingly, she responded with a scoff. "Pfft. That only happens in movies," she said. I was floored, immediately switching from frightened to furious that she would just dismiss such a likely scenario. I said "what are you talking about?! Being get trapped in collapsed buildings all the time!! Don't you watch the news?!" My tirade was cut short by a few more deafening blasts, even closer than the previous ones. The entire building shook, and I was actually thrown off of my feet. This one apparently rattled G as well, because we both grabbed each other and huddled together on the bed - our heads ducking in unison; hearts jumping out of our chests with each successive bang from outside.

I was a complete wreck. I don't know that I've ever been so scared. Unable to control my fear, I burst into tears, absolutely terrified of the horrible death that would soon be coming for us. But, once again, G remained rather stoic. She held me close, cradling my head to her, and actually began singing to me to console me! (It was just the most incredible situation, seeing as how I'm usually the one with my head screwed on during stressful times.) Suddenly, there was one final BOOM, right on top of us, and everything went black. (The whole thing reminded me of the final scene in Cloverfield.)

In the 3 or 4 seconds of darkness, I received a message. I can't recall if I saw it in my field of vision, or if it was just telepathic. The message was just kind of 'there.' The message was "You and your daughter..." and that was it. I have absolutely no idea what it was supposed to mean, or where it came from. (Oddly enough, my daughter never made an appearance in the dream.)

      Dream One (b) (FA)
I suddenly 'awoke' on the same bed, eyes full of tears. I looked around the room, which seemed completely undisturbed, and found G sitting on the floor. There were pizza boxes stacked on some of the furniture, and G looked as if we'd just been lounging around the house, shooting the shit all day. Sitting up with a start, I frantically asked her about the aliens, and why the bombing would have just suddenly stopped. She looked at me like she didn't have any clue what the fuck I was talking about. My mind raced. I was thinking that there was just no way I could have imagined all of that. With an extreme sense of urgency, I asked her to tell me what the date was. She didn't know it, so I asked her what day of the week it was, and she said Tuesday. Tuesday, I remembered, was the day that the aliens had actually showed up. I had been transported back to Tuesday...but there were no aliens this time! The only thing I could keep asking myself was 'How is this possible??'

G looked over at the window, a bright light flooding into the room. Passively, she said "that's really pretty," and I was immediately alarmed. I looked out the window, myself, expecting to seeing the bright, swelling light of a nuclear explosion, ready to brace for yet another inevitable shock wave. However, there was no explosion. It was just the sun, rising into the sky, at the beginning of this new day. There really were no aliens, this time. I wasn't able to believe - for one minute - that what I had experienced was a dream. Instead, I figured that I was somehow given another chance at life. I had somehow been transported back to that Tuesday, but without the threat of attack. The human race was no longer in danger of being exterminated. Relief doesn't even begin to describe how I felt. I was practically shaking. The emotions flooded back into me, and I began to cry softly. My eyes remind dry, but if the tears had come, they would have been tears of joy for simply being alive.

(When I woke up from this dream, I felt like I had a hole in my chest. I was completely emotionally drained, and I just sat and stared at the floor for a good five minutes. There is really nothing like honestly believing you are about to die, and then suddenly waking up, safe and sound in your bed. I was numb for a good portion of the day, after coming back from this insane trip.)

    3. A jumble of events

by , 02-01-2011 at 04:27 PM (The Labrynth of the Mind)
Another one of those nights, apparently. I dreamed about everything from the Dukes of Hazzard to Star Trek to being chased by lions. Much of it seems to be jumbled up in trying to remember it though.

      Big City Dukes

We are watching the Dukes of Hazzard. The Duke boys are in a big city somewhere, out in front of a high rise hotel. I explain to the people watching it with me "this must be an episode where they go to the big city."

Roscoe appears high up on a balcony watching them. He is about to arrest them for something or other. But Luke has the great idea of convincing him that there is a criminal in the swimming pool. He writes the name of the criminal on the edge of the pool. It starts with a "W" but the rest of it is a bit hard to read. Roscoe leans over to read it, and of course falls into the swimming pool. Bo and Luke take off running.

Meanwhile, Roscoe is clinging to the edge of the pool. "I can't swim!" he gasps, trying to keep his grip. Still, he inches his way along the edge trying to read the name that Luke wrote. Fortunately for him, somebody shows up in time to help him out of the pool to safety...

...We are walking in the big city (the whole Dukes thing seems to be over). We come to a castle. Or rather, it used to be a castle, but is now just integrated into the city. There is a row of shops in what used to be the keep, and the area surrounded by the moat is now sort of a downtown area. In order to get to this part, we have to climb down into a ramp that goes beneath the level of the rest of the town. It is a steep slope and I have a difficulty getting down in.

      Lions

(Maybe this is still part of the dream above. I don't know.) I need to get somewhere. In order to get there I have to cross a plain, much like a veldt in Africa. I see a large animal in the bushes near me that looks like a lion. I think to myself that it can't be a lion, since this is the US. It must be a large dog.

The lion gets up from behind the bush, and starts to walk towards me. Yep, it's a lion allright. I walk quickly towards a steep ridge of some kind. I dash up the hill, and jump down the other side, safe from the lion. But there's another lion on this side! It starts towards me, and then runs into a clear plastic wall. I now see that the lions are kept in these plastic compounds. They look like they are running free, but they really aren't.

      Star Trek Dream

(I seem to be unable to remember the first part of this dream at the moment.) I go downstairs to follow him [Picard, maybe? I don't quite remember.] He jumps through a portal at the bottom of the steps. I try to follow, but can't get the portal to work. It's the shape I don't understand. It appears to be made of a metal of some kind, that you have to bend into an opening and set in the right spot for it to work. Because he was a shapeshifter [?] I can't see it quite right. I bend it into what it looked like to me, which was twisted metal of some kind.

He shows up again, and explains the trick. I look at the twisted metal in my hand and laugh. Then he takes it, presses a button or a switch in the chimney, and a hole opens up. He bends the metal to match the hole and jumps through.

I am standing in the room, having just seem "him" vanish again. I get a wand of some sort. With this I can make lights go out. I have a bunch of stuff that I have collected. It is sort of like a computer game. I click on things that I have that have light. The lights dim. But they keep coming back before I can extinguish all of the light. I wonder what will happen when I do?

Deanna Troi is watching me, and Tasha Yar is sitting on the couch behind me. I sit down next to her and put my arm around her. She seems to be unhappy, and I try to make her feel better. We both have something in common apparently. "We both know what it's like to be tortured," I say.

I leave the building, because my parents are there to pick me up. At the same time, we are returning because I forgot something or they wanted me to check and make sure the doors are locked (or something). I go back in, and want to go back to the living room where Tasha is. I don't know if she is still there or not.

      School work/restaraunt

I am sitting in class. It is a class I am taking for fun, so the school work doesn't matter so much to me. Still, when it comes time to copy weird phrases (like "Take Oyster Sea" and a picture of a buoy) I am a little concerned because I didn't copy it into my notebook. Instead, when the passed the sheet around with the phrases, I simply wrote another phrase after the one at the top. I thought this is what you were supposed to do, but I was wrong. When the sheet comes back to me I hurry to copy the phrases into my notebook. While I am doing this, a pretty girl in front of me starts complaining about her throat.

"It's so dry, and I feel pretty bad," she says. "I have this cough, too."

"That's what you said last week," the teacher says disapprovingly.

"I know," she says. "It seems to happen whenever I am in this class."

"Maybe you hate being here," the teacher says, getting angry now. "If you don't like this class, then stop pretending to be sick and drop it. I'm tired of you coming in here acting so sick every single day!"

All this time I have been trying to concentrate on copying the weird phrases (which I can't read). Now I lift my head up.

"It could be allergies," I say, "especially if you get it every time you are in this classroom."

I contemplate buying out the other shares and owning the restaurant myself. (What, did I miss something? How did we get here? I don't know) I ask my boss what he would sell the business for. I know he wants to "get out from under it". He says he'll sell it for $500,000. I wonder if it would be a good investment. People buy semi-trucks as an investment. I think about that while I root around under the kitchen sink. "I'm paying for a truck driving education" says a future trucker, "it's an investment."

      "Reptiloid"

I remember that there was a lot that went on, early in this dream, but the first thing I actually recall is being at a park with some friends. There was a small pond nearby, and a friend and I were playing some kind of ball game near it. We had some awareness that there were gators in the water but, before then, we hadn't really paid any heed to it. Then, we noticed some small animal - a duck or something - making is way toward the shore. Before it could make it, though, a couple of gators splashed into view and violently attacked the animal, tearing it to shreds. Then, they turned toward us...exposed snouts slowly floating in our direction. Not quite sure what to do, we waited for a moment, seeing the gators crawl up onto the embankment, stalking our way. We then took off, running back toward our group. Knowing full well that alligators aren't the fastest creatures on land, we never could have been prepared for what happened next. The gators actually extended their - once short and stubby - legs, sprinting after us like greyhounds, on thick, muscular, canine-esque legs.

There was no way we were going to out-run them, and things looked even worse, when another two gators shot out from behind a jungle gym, far off to one side of us. They were closing in just as fast, and we were running out of places to go. We'd made it to the picnic table where the rest of our friends were sitting. Seeing us approach, with these mutated reptiles on our heels, the group immediately stood up. I took running leap and jumped up on top of the table, everyone else doing the same. We were now surrounded, these beasts trying ferociously to climb up onto the table, snapping their razor-sharp jaws at us, only to be kicked or beaten back with anything we could use as weapons. What's even more strange about these creatures were that they were coated with what, at first, looked like slime. But, after the gators were out of the water for a certain length of time, they actually began to melt, sizzling down to steaming piles of this sort of seaweed green goo. The creature were coated in some sort of organic corrosive liquid, like acid. I screamed out to everyone not to touch them, and that all we had to do with hold them off until they all either retreated or melted under their own secretions.

I don't remember whether or not we all got away, though.

      Fragment
(I completely forgot a lucid, last night. I hate when that happens. )
The only thing I remember is something about having to run through a deadly network of traps, like in the new Predators movie. Later, I had become lucid. I remember showing off a couple of lucid tricks, such as walking across a pool of water, and sinking my arm into a wall. When I walked across the water, I found it kind of hard to keep myself levitating, and one of my feet actually dunked completely under, leaving my shoe feeling soggy and wet.

    5. Finally!! Recall!!

      by
      You
      , 02-01-2011 at 03:08 PM
That's right people, I can finally remember my dream again! Sorry if I sound overexcited, it's just that my recall was on a low a few days. But here it is, it's only some fragments, but it's something:

I had a spider, as a pet, but not just a spider, a spider the size of a small cat. I remember that I let it sit on my shoulder sometimes. At some point in the dream the spider caught a mouse/little bird (not sure). I remember some fear at that point and someone telling me that the way the spider caught the bird/mouse was unusual. I also remember it running away into some sort of a lawn at some point. Also something with a house where I was going to live, it really was a small house (kinda like a bungalow I once went... really the bungalow of YOUR NIGHTMARES! <forget that, I'm strange) and that I was afraid there were spider in it (how ironic). And something like a class I was late for.

At morning, sorta weird semi-lucid moment (I always seem to have lucid/semi-lucid moments in the morning):
I was picking clothes for school, though 'this COULD be a dream and woke up (mom banging on door, I'm a serious night-owl), then woke up in the waking world (that was a False Awakening)

Dream Signs: A spider the size of a small cat, I was a couple years older probably (not sure)
    6. 01/23/2011 - "Financial Aid"

by , 02-01-2011 at 01:52 PM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)
      01/23/2011
      "Financial Aid"

I was friends with LS, and back in my old neighborhood. Her little brother was there. Apparently, they were getting money from a sick family member or something, and there was another character who was stealing the money right from under them. I don't exactly remember the details, but I somehow ended up helping this person double-cross them. (The Matrix movie was looping, while I slept. After this dream, I woke up right at Cypher's double-cross. Seeing as how screwing LS over like that is something I never would have done in waking life, I'm wondering if being so in-tuned with the movie is what created this scenario, in the dream.) I was with the main villain as he was talking to the liaison, trying to get the money. I actually wasn't supposed to be there, but the liaison had shown up unexpectedly. I couldn't get out of sight fast enough to go unnoticed, so I pretended to just be a friend of the family, who was simply visiting; feigning sleep while the two talked. LS came home, just as the deliverer was leaving, and saw me laying there. Before she was able to ask too many questions, the crook, apparently someone she trusted to handle things, ushered her out.

The next day came. LS and her brother were really sad. Not having really thought about my actions as being "all that bad," I listened to her tell me about how her and her brother were really struggling - that there was no one to help them out, and the money she was supposed to be getting for support had been stolen. It was only then that it actually hit me. What had I done? This girl was my friend, and obviously in trouble, and I had just helped someone steal from her. The realization hit me in the chest, as if I'd been completely oblivious to what was going on, before that moment. Above all else, I knew I had to come clean, and confess to what I had done. I brought LS and her brother outside my house, and they took a seat in the grass. Reluctantly, I laid it all out for them, letting them know of my involvement, and about how I had no idea how bad they were hurting for money. Having to verbalize my actions, I was just as surprised with myself as I knew she had to be, and I wanted nothing more than for her to forgive me. She didn't. In fact, she hated me for it. She got up and screamed at me, telling me about how much they'd lost - not just from the money that was skimmed, but because of how much more they were going to lose, because of bills that wouldn't get paid and whatnot. She thought that I was just using the money to blow, but that wasn't the case. I had been struggling myself, and was skimming money to help pay for my essentials. Had I have known what I was doing to them, there is no way I would have gone through with it. She wasn't hearing it, though. I could only watch as she stormed off, refusing to talk to me. Her little brother slowly got up, staring at me as he followed her, muttering a sarcastic "thanks a lot," under his breath.

I pleaded with LS to hear me out, and told her that I didn't really understand the gravity of what I was doing. I tried to rationalize to her, why I had needed the money, as if it were any excuse. They completely ignored me, though, and simply walked away.

As if on cue, I woke up...feeling like the scum of the Earth...

    7. Day 3: Melatonin+Vitamin B6= sxephil?

      by , 02-01-2011 at 01:29 PM (A Penrose Mind)
      Blue=Lucid Red=Non-lucid Black=Awake

      Dream log day 3:

So yeah, apparently melatonin and vitamin b6 aren't necessarily a great combo for achieving lucidity, or sleep. Once again, I only slept for about 2 hours last night, but this is mostly because I think I have a sleeping disorder, I'm getting checked about it soon.

Anyways, my dreams were actually quite boring last night and didn't last to long, I never left my apartment in my dream! I can't remember exactly where it started and the whole thing is kind of in fragments but I'll put them in what I think is a chronological order (I wont be doing any dream topography since the whole dream occurred in my apartment),

I'm in my room, and my computer that I usually have on my table is mounted on the door of my closet (which faces me). I seem to be able to access the computer telepathically since I never seem to use a mouse or keyboard.

I'm looking through iTunes for some reason (I have a mac) and I find a section where it shows me all of my videos in my youtube subscription box(which I find a bit odd at first but take at face value).

When I try to access a video I find myself outside of my room where the dining table and second computer are.

The same interface that I was on on the computer in my room is on the computer outside too. I start a video (made by sxephil) and she first thing I see is Phillip de Franco saying:

"Hey look a hot chick(a picture of a hot chick appears on screen)"

He goes on about the hot chick for a while and then moves on to the "science" segment. I can't remember exactly what he said, only that science had once again confirmed something that people already knew (like for instance, "Blow jobs may lead to sex!"). At the end of the video Phil goes to bed and faps to the picture of the girl in the beginning of the video, while so in the background you can hear on the radio:

"In other news, scientists are saying that cancer indeed still a "thing"."

I find this fragment funny because this is what my subconscious sees as every single sxephil video ever made.

Afterward I go to the kitchen, on my way there I look into the living room (where we keep the tv) and see that the same interface on the two computers is there too. But once again, I didn't seem to be phased by it.

In the kitchen for some strange reason I wanted to strain a glass of milk before I drank it, but the second glass I poured the milk into through the stainer had holes in it, so the milk just spilled all over the place.

I quickly cleaned it up with a paper towel. After that I decided to strain a glass of juice for me instead (it had pulp in it) and I just drank it down.

I went back to the computer outside and looked at another one of phials videos, this one being a bit odd. When the video starts it takes up my whole vision as if I'm there and I become "immersed" in the story.

At the beginning phil accidentally kill his roommate by throwing a dodge ball at his face (just roll with it) and instead of saying what really happened in the 911 call he instead claims that he died of a heart attack (just roll with it).

      "Okay." She says.

And then just hangs up the phone. Afterwards she says to the camera,

"Yeah, I'm gonna call the police."

Afterwards instead of sending the police over she meets up with Phil in a city. When they first meet Phill doesn't seem to pleased.

"I know you're a mole for the police," He says. "and that's not cool."

"I know that your a liar!" She hisses back at him.

For a while the exchange the word bullshit pretty angrily.

"Oh yeah?" She yells. "Well you're not even human!"

Suddenly, sxephil is a lizard and there both standing in the dessert. What. The. Fuck.

"Did that really just happen?" I think to myself. Suddenly I'm de-immersed from the story and find myself back in my room, even though when the video started I was at the computer in the dining area. No only that, now my computer is back on the table and not on the closet door, and now I'm using the keyboard and mouse again (which by the way is really hard to use in a dream).

My dad walks in and I immediately minimize the window with DV and youtube on it(I was supposed to be doing work on my essay),

"What window is that?" He asks me, even though I minimized it before he walked in.

My DC (yes I'll be using this term now) dad acts much more like my real dad in this dream. Instead of being understanding, interested, and supportive of me and my new found agenda he strikes it down with an iron fist.

I quickly reopen and close the window I minimized and erase my history of DV and youtube.

My DC dad may just be a figment of my imagination but he's not an idiot. He immediately realizes what I did and tells me he's going to cut off my internet.

Shortly after my alarm clock goes off and I wake up. I wake up at exactly 5:30 a.m., 1st of February.

Well once again this was a complete failure, lucidity wise and overall dream wise, but then again I first tried obtaining lucidity 2 days ago, I don't expect instant results. I almost lost my dream recall too. I'll be trying a different reality check this time, one I do every time I walk through a door, the "Still being able to breathe while you pinch your nose" one, and really begin to question my reality and weather I'm dreaming or not.

Edit: I think I woke up with a bloody nose today. When I woke up there was definitely something coming out of my nose but at the time I thought it was just mucus. Later in the day, I found what looked like blood encrusted on my finger nail. I wonder if that means anything. Anyway, no more melatonin+b6 for me anymore.

      Well wish me luck.

P.s. There are probably spelling errors in this cause I wrote it at six in the morning, but whatever.

All I remember was being mad at my sister for something she ruined. Like really mad, but I don't remember what it was.

I also remember posing in a picture with my ex-sister-in-law. Hmmm, I guess that's about it.

I had another one where these DC's were trying to stop me from jumping off the side of this building. I wasn't quite lucid, but I knew I had these unexplainable powers that I wanted to test out. Towards the end of the dream, I was spitting up a mouthful of salt on the carpet.

      Fragment One

I was Batman, and was using stealth to get around the inside of some building. I believe it was something like a community center, because I remember it having a game room. I don't really recall what I was doing there, but I think I might have gotten spotted once or twice. Don't remember much from this dream at all.

      Fragment Two
I had a job interview, and was told that I had to wait for other candidates to have their interviews, before I would be told whether or not I got the job. I ended up coming back, much later in the day, after most everyone was gone. I can't remember the reason, but I think I had to change clothes or something. There was no one around, and I took off my shirt and was either turning it inside out or putting another one on or something. I remember that someone had been playing Modern Warfare on a computer that was in the room, and it was still left running. Finally, I left the building, and was still trying to get my arms in the sleeves of my shirt. I saw LQ walking through the parking lot, who was a friend that I had a huge crush on, once upon a time. I was pretty sure she saw me, but that she might not have noticed, because she didn't say anything. Slightly embarrassed by still only being partially dressed, I tried to stay out of her sight, just in case she really hadn't noticed.

      That's all I remember.

      "Penrose"

This dream had something to do with Inception, but I can't remember exactly how it tied in. (I had been watching the movie, when I went to bed.) There was a gunfight going on, in and around some multi-tiered structure, at night. There were some snipers around the facility, and my group and I spent most of our time on the run. I don't remember much, but there was a certain high pillar or something, that I kept falling off of. Before I hit the ground, I would realize that this was all a dream, and my first instinct would be to try to wake myself up, before impact. But instead of waking up, I would simply restart the dream from the beginning, having lost lucidity. I would then get back to that same pillar, fall off again, realize I was dreaming and instinctually try to wake myself up, before I hit the ground. And then I would just start the dream over again. I don't know how many times I did this, but it was quite a few. Some time later, my friends and I had gotten back into the area where the pillar was. Something had changed this time, though, and we ended up taking a different trail, slipping down into a trap door in the floor, away from our attackers. We ended up in a house that was somehow "under" the facility that we'd been fighting in.

The next day came. We were still in the house, but the whole facility above us - along with the whole gunfight scenario - was gone. We were partying a bit. My friend Sam was there, and her and the others were passing around some liquor. I kept trying to get some, but every time I would get close to the bottle, it would get passed over to somebody else, and out of my reach.

The only thing I really remember is that I was driving around the Lake Mary area with my dad and a few other people. It seemed like the city, but there were a few differences in the geography. Later, we were in a park, smoking bud. Afterward, we were driving back down Lake Emma, and I was only wearing my underwear. Someone in the car wanted some cigarettes, so we headed toward a convenience store, and passed by a bunch of cops, along the way. They were doing some kind of driving drills, on the road, and had caused a huge accident. The last thing I remember is trying to maneuver around the wreck.

The only thing I remember is some chase sequence where I'm trying to catch this ninja girl (though I don't think it was the same girl that I was in my "Ninja Girl" dream, a while back). We were running around a dock/harbor area, and I had pyrokinesis. I remember throwing some fireballs at her, but she was just too quick and nimble; dashing and dodging around pretty much everything I threw at her, before taking off again and making me continue to chase her through the night.

      "UFO, EMP, WTF"

I had been hanging out with a few friends. Josh was there, and there were a couple of girls along with us. We'd spent most of the night just partying and just getting into a lot of shit we weren't supposed to be. I remember being in a garage, sitting in the passenger seat of a car, and one of the girls from the back seat slithered up front to sit on my lap. Looking back, though, I can't say that this is a girl that I already knew in waking life.

Later, we were supposed to be going to a house party, but when we got there it was completely abandoned. It was the middle of the night, and there were still a couple of cars outside, even though there was apparently nobody home. Ultimately not caring, we all just decided to hang out there, and have our own little party. So we started just getting hanging out and getting hammered. The whole thing seemed completely wrong, though. Everything was dark and ominous, and the house itself had a really run-down, horror movie type of feel to it, as if it were a cross between the Bates motel (Psycho) and Springwood High School (A Nightmare on Elm Street). Even though we were just having a grand ol' time, there was still this foreboding feeling that we just shouldn't be there.

After some period of time, we were all outside. The house was somewhat in the sticks, and even though there was a least one neighbor nearby, there were acres and acres of land, around us. Suddenly, in the dead of night, we heard the electronic whir of some sort of aircraft above us. We looked overhead and there was a small cluster of about 3 spot lights beaming down through the clouds, sweeping over the house and surrounding area. The machine was hovering, just to high above the mist for us to make out its shape. Still, it was easy to see it was like nothing I'd ever witnessed. Just as suddenly, a convoy of military vehicles roared onto the scene, tearing through the grassy field beside us, and apparently chasing the flying vehicle, which had shifted off to the clearing behind the house. There was something huge going on, and we weren't even sure if we were allowed to be on this property. We figured that it would probably be best to get the Hell out of the area, before the military decided to come back, and 'interrogate' any witnesses. However, when we tried to start the cars, they were all dead. Everything electronic was dead. Apparently, we figured, that thing in the sky had triggered some kind of EMP, and we were now stranded. (Didn't realize that this didn't explain how the military was able to drive in across the field. Oh well.)

The next thing I knew, it was the following morning. I vaguely remember waking up in a friend's car. We were trying to leave again, and this time, the car was starting. The only thing left was for me to check my car...which was suddenly nowhere to be found. I exploded into panic, jumping out of the car and scoping around for mine. Josh suggested that I might have parked it around back, with some of the others. I went around the side of the house, and into the back yard. There were a a couple of cars back there, but most of them looked run down, and mine was nowhere in sight. I'd gone back around to the front of the house and found the rest of the group in the garage. They were tending to the girl who had been with Josh, and she was apparently very sick. She had these mysterious bruises that just showed up, all over her body, and there was suddenly blood all over the section of the car where she was sitting, which apparently came from her. Everybody was freaking out, because this girl was apparently getting worse by the moment. I was immediately reminded of the snake things in the movie The Ruins, and I couldn't help but think that this girl had them crawling around beneath her skin. If she was somehow infected with these parasites, we were all in grave danger, and we had to get out of there. Now.

There simply wasn't enough room for all of us to drive off in the only car that we had, so I knew we needed some other mode of transportation. I ran back around to the back of the house and started looking for a car that might actually start. There was a really dope, customized Camaro, but it turned out to be a piece of junk that simply didn't run. Another car, which seemed suitable from afar, seemed to suddenly morph into a child's PowerWheels type of toy. Finally, I came across another car, which looked a lot like mine, except it was a convertible of a different color. We somehow got it started, piled ourselves into both vehicles, and drove away to try to get some medical attention.

      That's all I remember.

    13. Lucid dream number 2!

      by , 02-01-2011 at 12:35 PM
Hooray! I finally had my second lucid dream, it didn't last for ages but I'm really proud.

I live in student halls of residence so there was a lot of noise last night, however I woke up at one point and there was silence. I felt the urge to reality check but for some reason I couldn't be bothered but my thoughts lingered on lucid dreaming. The next thing I knew I was in a shopping mall and just knew I was dreaming, I did the reality check of putting my finger through my hand and on the third attempt it worked. There was a bright white light around the entry point which looked pretty cool. The dream faded quite a lot but I found that looking at my hands brought things back into focus effectively every time this happened.

After I succeeded with the hand test I decided to check for certain and tried to fly, to my surprise this worked! I remember being shocked at how easy it was and flew around the shopping centre a few times. After this I met a woman, but as my focus was so directed upon her and let the dream fade out hugely, and before I knew it I was flung into a dark abyss. I tried to "spin" out of this but failed, my second attempt was to close my eyes and imagine myself elsewhere but I think this took me back to proper sleep as I don't remember any more.

This whole dream was a lot less vivid than my previous lucid dream.

    14. Fucking Kammehammeha!

      by , 02-01-2011 at 10:16 AM
      1st of February
So yeah this night i had my 2nd lucid dream (its even the day after my first prober LD experience)
The lucid dream was induced by a false awakening. i woke up (in the dream) and made a reality check. I bacame lucid:

Im aware that im dreaming and im still lying in my bed. I feel like im lying there really comfy and didnt really want to get outta bed. I thought by myself that this is a lucid dream and i should take advantage of it. I stand up and i walk towards the window. Its all blurry outside so i take a really good look at my hands. At first they are blurry but after a few seconds it gets clear but my fingers are still very strange. Anywho.. Somehow somthing tells me that i have to catch this guy called ''Flandrich'' or something like that. I look out the window once again and there he is - running away from my house. Since i could feel the dream wasnt stabalized very well and i would wake up anywho i took a shot and tryed to make a kammehammeha. I looked at my hands and notthing happened.. i tryed again and really focused on it. A little tiny blue ball apeared in my hands and slowly grew into a handball sized sphere. I charged it and fired it towards ''Flandrich''. There was a big blue ligning but not a 'real' kammehammeha.

      Then the dream faded away

    15. The Blockbuster for Horses Restaurant

by , 02-01-2011 at 09:11 AM (Brainy Vapours)
We - the kids, me and my husband - are going out for dinner to a restaurant. The kids I have are the same as my kids in real life, but my husband looks like an old broken down version of The Architect from The Matrix. There is a general feeling of stress about our venture to the restaurant. I don't remember eating, I just remember me and the hubby having a big fight and being really bitchy with each other.

It's late and the kids are miserable, crying loudly. People in the restaurant are looking at us. I can't get one of my boys off the ride 'em toy car that they have in the restaurant to amuse children. The husband is getting more and more angry, more and more impatient. It doesn't help when I tell him I intend to get my horse. Part of the reason we came to this restaurant is that you can take a horse with you after you're done your meal. Kind of like a blockbuster but with horses and a meal involved. The husband is not impressed, and since he can't drive the car home (he has no license), he growls that he will take the kids and walk home, meeting me later. It's not too far from here, so I agree. He stomps off in a huff.

I rush over to the corral part of the restaurant and go about picking my horse. I grab the first one I can find, she's kind of a caramel colour with a long light coloured mane that she tosses around, whinnying loudly. I bring her up to the lady at the "check out", feeling stressed. I want to get out of here as soon as possible, so that grumpy husband doesn't beat me home.

The lady at the till has long tightly curled frizzy hair and she looks at me and the horse dubiously. She asks me why I took this horse. I say that I chose her because she's spirited and full of energy, like me (). The lady takes her from me, saying that this horse is a bit too young and wild, that she will bring me a more appropriate horse. I am guessing she means for my noobish level of horse riding. The horse bites her as she is lead away from me, and that pleases me a little, giving me a feeling that maybe the horse chose me, too.
They bring me a very calm horse who almost looks a bit like a donkey. He's dark brown and black mixed fluffy fur. She tells me he will suit me better. I'm stressed now, it feels like this is taking too long, so I agree and we head off to the car.

On the way to the car, I tell the lady about my relationship troubles, illustrating the problems I have had in the past. She doesn't seem to care. I try to impress upon her how dire the situation is with my hubby, but she just feigns interests, but not convincingly. We get to the car (which is a mini van kind of thing) and I see a load of garbage all along the floor of it. Embarrassed, I search through the garbage for my keys. I find them after some stressed minutes. As I look at the keys I notice that the car keys are missing, so hubby has taken them! This irritates me, for some reason to do with the fact that he has no license. In my dream he has taken the car to drive home, but that makes no sense because the car is in front of me.

Now that I am apparently ready to go, The horse lady showed me what to feed my horse. She pulls out this thing that looks like a sandwich. She asks if I have seen these before and I say I think I have but I couldn't ever afford to buy them before. She shows me that when you break the sandwich apart there are whole foods inside, like vegetables, fruits, and noodles. She says I must feed him only these. She begins showing me some long drawn out demonstration of another snack to feed him, and I try to pay attention, but I am so stressed now and really want to get going. I am sure that hubby is at home waiting to yell at me now.

The dream ends when my kids wake me up. How disappointing, I was so close to riding that horse!
