      I was at the vet because my penguin was sick. They put a chip in it so they would know who it belonged to and which was it's vet. The "zoo", that was his title, was using suspenders, used to hold up pants, to read the chips.

    2. The Sun and Moon

      Synopsis: Lucid, I still ccan't open a portal! Why? Later I run into a strange DC who knows this is a dream.

      The Sun and Moon
      I became lucid! I don't even remember my dream before becoming lucid. I think I was running around in a giant mall playing superheroes with some kids, but I'm not sure. All I really remember is, I walk outside and I start to float by a tree. Wait a minute, I'm floating? I'm dreaming!


      It's been a while since I've been lucid. I don't want to rush this, but I think I did anyways. I rub my hands together to stabilize the dream. I've never done this before as a stabilization technique. It feels pretty real! I can feel my fleshy hands and the curvature of my palms. But nothing happens. The dream doesn't change. So I command the dream to stabilize. But nothing happens again.


      I'm standing on the tree branch looking at the suburban scene below me. Well it's not unstable looking. But I wasn't satisfied. I wanted my dream to be hyper realistic. It still feels,
      dreamy. Maybe I made the wrong verbal commands, maybe I should have said "Increase Clarity" instead.

      I want to open a portal! But I want to find the best dream spot to open a portal. So I start to walk around, two kids from the mall follow me. I think they still want to play. They're cute but really annoying. I had to get rid of them some how! So I tell them "Did you know that this is a dream?" "Huuh?" "This is a dream!" "This is a dream?" They look at me shocked, as if I just told them the world was ending. But then they smile and laugh and run away. That was easy!


      I find the perfect spot to create a portal. I was underneath the sun and moon. The sun and the moon were next to each other, both shining bright. I don't even think that's possible in waking life, but it was beautiful sight anyways. I stand underneath the sunlight and try to open a portal.


      Nothing happens.


      I walk away a little confused. So I start to explore my dream some more while thinking of a better way to create a portal. I was walking along a glass building, reflecting everything behind me. That's when I notice an older blonde woman is following me (late 30s? 40ish? hard to tell, it doesn't look like she's slept in days). How annoying! Dream characters are so persistent sometimes. I know! I walk right through the glass building. I look through the glass smiling thinking "Now she can't see me! She doesn't even know I'm looking right at her." Some other nearby dream characters look confused, as if they just witnessed a person magically disappear.


      I waited for her to walk away just as confused, but instead she steps right through the glass. Her gaze was icy steel. How do I explain it? It's a kind of look that only women give to other women. I feel like she's challenging me.


      I'm just annoyed that a dream character is mimicking my dream abilities! (how dare she
      )

      She is standing very close to me. Invading my space actually, she's practically standing over me. I just want her to go away so I can get on with my dream. So I tell her "This is a dream!" And she responds "I know." I don't like her expression. It's angry and mean. But she doesn't try to hurt me, or touch me, even though she's so close. I felt like. . she was trying to manipulate me to be angry at her, to try to hurt her, start the cat-fight!


      But then I remind myself that this is a dream, I need to watch my thoughts and emotions carefully. I try to envision her as lovelier, friendlier, nicer. She eases up and smiles. But I can't say for certain it's the nicest smile in the world! I woke up after that. How short and sweet lucidity is.


      I VILD and attempt to re-enter the same dream. I'm lucid, but the dream is really unstable. I think I try to open the portal again. But I don't remember, everything just went to fuzz.


      (and why is there a fly literally flying around my head? Am I the sun?

      My sister was at a bowling alley. She was behind the front desk giving people shoes and a ball and stuff. The manager left, so I was helping her with the food. (She's only ten.) I helped her clean stuff. There were projection screens at the ends of the lanes. I hooked them up. The manager came back. She had to leave because it was 8:30 p.m., and she had school the next day.
    4. Slow Magic

      Synopsis: First I dream of mutant rats attacking people, then I dream of a desert city. Where a greedy rich man has a chlorinated pool large enough to be a chlorinated lake. Then I dream of magic. A young witch with green hair discovers the true nature of her power

      Mutant Rats
      The rats have mutated into something more like grimlims. I'm in an old house, trapped with several other families. It's very dark, maybe the mutant rats ate/cut through our power supply? Me and my sister barricade ourselves in a bedroom. The hallway is long and big, the living room is huge, and the kitchen has two entrances. Meaning, the rats could be coming at you from anywhere!

      I don't know why, but mom insisted in staying in the living room! And my other sister was just loafing around in the bathroom, with the door open. We kept trying to tell them it wasn't safe! But they wouldn't listen, even though the rats had already attacked several people.

      Now, the rats, they did eat people. But the real problem was they couldn't kill you instantly! The mutant rats were hunting as a pack, and it takes about 20 of them to take down a human. And it's a slow painful process filled with lots of bites . The other problem was it only took one bite from a rat for you to get some nasty plague.

      Me and my sister liked holding up in the bedroom, because we could see the corners of the room easier. I watch desperate people trying to escape the property from the window. But there were more mutant rats running outside than in! I couldn't see the rats from the window, only the people screaming as something hidden from my view snatches them by their feet, and drags them away. There was also a large wall about ten feet high surrounding the entire property. I realized past this wall was freedom! I almost became lucid as I thought about jumping out the window.

      But my sister stops me, telling me there's no way we can make it to the wall without the rats attacking us. And even if we did make it too the wall, then what? Do you know how to scale a ten foot brick wall?

      Suddenly a mutant rat jumps at me! I instinctively grab this piece of wood next to me, I think it was supposed to be a ruler, but it's all broken. Even though I'm terrified, without thinking, I kill the mutant rat. The wooden ruler is sticking out of it's throat. My sister changes her mind. If I can kill a mutant rat, then these rats aren't so tough. We need to somehow sneak past the kitchen to get to the front door. The kitchen is the most dangerous, because obviously, rats like kitchens.

      We decide that on our way through the kitchen we can pick up some knives, in case we have to fight out way through before reaching the brick wall.

      My dream fades away into a new one

      Dubai?
      I'm flying over a city. But even though I'm flying over a city, it feels more like a 3rd perspective dream where I'm observing the dream rather than taking part of it. As I fly over the city, I compare it to the others next to it. In comparison, this city is disgusting! There isn't a single tree or anything green growing. Concrete, asphalt, steel, pavement, large boring colorless buildings. You could say this city feels cold and uninviting. But it wasn't just cold, it was boiling hot. The streets were sizzling underneath the blazing sun, like a Walmart parking lot.

      Further north in the city lived the richest man, you might as well call his private house a PALACE. Mansion does it no justice, this place was HUGE. It was nice architecture, I'll give him that. But he only had three small children living with him, why does this place need to be so big? He had a pool.

      I wouldn't describe it was a pool though, at 25ft deep, 50ft wide, and wrapping around the entire estates, it was a lake. It even had waves. The pool, in a venice style, was right up against the palace. Dragon water fountain spouts jut out from the palace's walls pouring into the pool. When I looked closer, the dragon spout itself was water! A magical enchantment? The pool was both beautiful and hideous. Hideous when you realized that all of this water, in this asphalt desert, was chlorinated and undrinkable to any living thing.

      My dream fades away and I have a new one, which starts in a small pool

      Slooow Magic
      The kids playing in the pool were young witches and wizards, all about the age of 12 (when kids are most viscous!). Some of them had no magic of their own, others were naturally gifted. One young girl not only self-proclaims to be the most powerful young witch of all, she also self-proclaims to be the most popular girl at school. Though, I'm not sure if everyone being afraid of you is popularity . There was no doubt however that she was powerful. Her powers were INSTANT. She didn't have to chant. She didn't have to cast spells or use a wand. They were like the crack of lightning, when she willed them, they happened!

      She bullies another girl in her class, who looks a lot like Hermione from HP, except her hair is green. My young green-haired witch, got tired of being made fun of, and grabs her young male friend, and the two of them storm out of the pool party. The two of them have a crazy adventure (that I don't remember) in an old english city. Even though they kept running into trouble, their trouble would always transform into good fortune!

      My green witch kept getting water dumped on her head! Maybe from someone dumping from a window, a car splashing, or what. But it just kept randomly happening. Like, water being dumped on her magically just because she opened a door. She gets annoyed and snaps at her friend "Stop tossing water at me!" He responds meekly "It wasn't me! I swear, I didn't do it! That door did it!"

      It seems kind of silly to think that a door would splash water on you just because you were opening it. She looks at the door and there's a note attached. It reads something like "It's time to dip in the water and get wet! Sloooow Magic is the strongest!"

      My green haired witch smiles slyly as she holds the paper. She understands now why she was born with green hair, she's a nature witch. The power of nature incarnate. She may not have flashy dazzling powers like the dark haired freak (the popular girl). But her slooow magic is strong. Like taking a slow deep breath - good fortune comes her way. My green witch sets off to find a lake to take a dip in - which I felt was some sort of rite of passage for her.

      My dream becomes some random nonsense dream about dogs who can't swim in pools, and then I wake up






    5. Psychedelic Padded Cell Torture - 19/6/10

      Had a dream that I was in a mental asylum in a padded cell (though strangely the room also had several windows). At first I had a metal fork in my hand and kept trying to find un-padded bits of the cell where I could violently stab it into, trying to bend the fork out of shape. Soon after, my brother kept appearing and plaguing me with painful psychedelic hallucinations of black and grey line patterns, but I wasn’t certain whether he was actually appearing or I was imagining him. Eventually my mum appeared and sorted it out somehow after I pleaded with her to bring him to justice after convincing her of the existence of his cruelties. I’m also not sure if this was also meant to be a real or imagined event.
    6. Horrible and Weird - 19/6/10

      In an especially horrible dream, I was living with with my Dad in the mountains. He had a newly born baby with him, who at one pivotal point fell over when it was left by itself on the steps outside my grandmother's house, and hit its head quite seriously on the hard surfaces, effectively killing it, but it wasn’t discovered for some days, allowing for some decomposition. When we discovered the baby’s corpse it had transformed into a magical object that allowed us to fully control time and space, however sometimes it would also transform into a small sharp-toothed dog and chase us around.
    7. Kidnapped, Knife Fight, Blood

      I guess one could call this a nightmare, but it didn't quite start out like that.

      I woke up on the top of a bunk bed in a tiny plain hotel room. The flooring was dark, pale blue carpet, and there was a hotel-sized white-paned window on the other side of the room. I caught the false awakening and momentarily became a bit lucid, but it didn't last.

      I got up from the bunk bed and went down the stairs. There was no one else in the room, but there was an open door leading to the main part of the booked hotel room (where the fridge and chairs are). I peered out and knew I wasn't supposed to be here. I saw a man with a black t-shirt and blue jeans sitting at a small round wooden table, drinking from a mug. He looked slightly scuffed up, although not much. He also looked fairly strong, like someone who'd just gotten back from the gym.

      He saw me right away. "Hello," he told me, rather normally. "Don't be shy. Come out and I'll make you some breakfast."

      I decided to play stupid and say, "I have to get dressed first." There must have been a suitcase or something of clothing in the room, because he said, "sure". I went into the room, closing the door, and found a small shopping bag filled to the top with clothes, but I wasn't actually going for them. I was going for anything that could help me escape.

      My gaze flit around the room and I saw a coach purse, exactly like the one I own in real life. It had a very long strap that I could use to climb down the side of the hotel.


      I looked out the hotel window, clutching the purse, and saw that our room was situated at least thirty floors up. The strap didn't even go half the distance to the ground. Crap!

      Suddenly, the man walked into the room and froze when he saw me by the window with the purse. "What are you doing?" he asked me.

      "Getting out of here," I shot back at him. I made a run for the door, went through it, and he didn't do anything to stop me. He pulled out a long, silver knife instead. I looked back as I ran out the door and into the hotel hallway; he was watching me calmly with the knife in his hand. I didn't look back as I ran down the stairs to the lobby.

      There were only one or two sets of stairs and already I was on the first floor...? Anyways, I got there and no one was in sight, but there was a phone at the reception desk. I took it and crazily tried to dial 911. The man suddenly appeared, slipping around the corner and holding the phone box. "You're crazy!" I shouted to him. The machine rang and then a voice answered. "I'm being kidnapped and threatened with a knife!" I told the woman on the other line. "Help me, I'm-"

      I couldn't get an address out, because the man found the phone outlet and unplugged it, then cut the cord with his knife. I gaped and backed away from him rather quickly. "Don't leave," he told me forcefully.

      I took one more step back and my foot landed on a gun. My eyes widened even more (is that even possible?) and I reached down and picked the gun up. It was dark gray, almost black, and heavy. It was loaded. "Back the f*** up!" I told him, looking for the exit. Suddenly he reached into his pocket and pulled out his own gun. I shot him in the chest, killing him instantly. His eyes began to bleed and there were bruises appearing all over his body. He was still standing up straight but his eyes were closed, and he was completely still. Then another person, looking very much like him, appeared with the same ghastly imagery. It frightened me so much I woke up.

    8. Bridesmaid's Dress

      Date: June 18-19, 2010.

      I was in my school for some reason. This is all I could remember:

      I must have been getting ready for a wedding or something. I was called out of class and into the hallway. I had to wait there for a few minutes with this girl. A lady came and gave me my clothes, and she led me down the hall. I think I was in this office or something, then she led me outside. She took me to this weird little cottage. Once I got in, there were 1, 2, or 3 ladies standing there. They were going to help me with my hair and makeup. I was fumbling around for some reason, like I wasn't thinking straight. I put the wrong shoes on my foot and before I put my stockings on. I forget what happened, but I was alone in the cottage. They probably had to go to a staff meeting. Once I got mostly dressed, I realized that I forgot my dress.
      So I sneaked back into the school and looked in the bathroom and office for my dress. I got it, ran back out to the cottage, and managed to put it on. While I was doing this, the same girl (also a bridesmaid) came in with her stuff. She said hello and I said hi back. After she got dressed, she took interest in a walkie-talkie/radio in the back of the room. (apparently the other walkie-talkie was in the staff meeting room) I said, "Please don't do this, we might get in trouble." But she did anyway. She flipped the switch, and we heard some static. Then someone said, "Hello? Who is this?" So we shut it off really quickly and started freaking out. So we pretended to act casual. A man had come into the cottage and said, "You aren't supposed to be in here!" but the other girl replied, "We're dressing." The guy said sorry, then left. A few minutes later I woke up.

    9. Samael, Serenity, and Loaf

      It's only a bit after 6:30 as I begin typing this, so I suppose I should still be sleeping. I'm just way to amused at the dreams I had to get back to sleep, though.

      1- A Final Deed
      Samael and I are roommates at some apartment. I am not myself; I am an ex-vigilante woman who has been diagnosed with incurable cancer. Samael asks me why I don't help people anymore, and I say that I have lost faith in the world.

      There is a new girl who has moved in next door, and something about her interests me. I suggest to her that she should speak with Samael. The next night, I am sitting on a bench outside our apartment when the new girl and Samael arrive together from a date they just had. I am delighted to see how well they are getting along; they're practically soulmates! I'm glad that I got to do one last good deed before I die.


      2- Annoying Class
      We are supposed to be taking some test, but nobody is following instructions. I am talking to my friend Samantha, but she keeps switching back and forth between herself and Serenity. "Hey, I was reading your dream journal, and we both dreamed about a lemonade stand last night," I say to her. (Actually, I say tennis court to start with, then correct myself and say lemonade stand.)

      "Oh yeah, I read about that."

      "Oh, you did! I remember now that you already commented on it."

      In the middle of our conversation, the teacher comes over and says I need to be checked out by the dentist. They strap me into a chair, give me laughing gas, and perform rather painful tests on me. After it is over, one of Samantha/Serenity's friends is laughing at me, saying that the gas made me act retarded.


      3- A Slice of Loaf
      I tell my brother that I am excited to get home, because my friend Loaf is going to be staying with us for a while. I explain that he just had his tonsils removed, so he probably won't feel much like talking.

      I walk into the front door, and Loaf is laying across my couch eating a bowl of chocolate ice cream. He looks like he's about 15 or 16, possibly older, and he has no hair. My mother has been taking care of him. "Hi Loaf, how are you feeling?"

      "I'm in pain," he says happily.

      "I would imagine so. Did the surgery go well?"

      "It hurt."

      "You mean you could feel it while they were operating on you? Didn't they put you to sleep?"

      "Yeah, but I could still feel it." He explains that while they were operating, he dreamed of a woman stabbing him in the throat.

      My mom begins to as him a lot of questions about lucid dreaming, such as what got him interested to begin with.

      Later, I get attacked by some creatures in a cave, and Loaf rescues me.
    10. 06/17/10 The Birth of a Planet

      I was floating in space next to Q. I was already lucid. I'm not sure how I had gotten to that place, but I felt perfectly at home floating in the vastness of space. I looked around to see where in space I was. I saw there was a binary star nearby. It was very bright, so I didn't want to look directly at it. Both of the stars in the system were yellow stars. Q told me that one of them was about the size of Earth's sun, the other one slightly smaller. I could see a planet not far off. It was a terrestrial planet, a large round chunk of rock in space. I could see it was covered in craters and it didn't look habitable. I asked Q if that was a planet I could go to. Q said since it is a dream, I could go wherever I wanted. I thought for a minute… I had not asked the question I wanted to ask. I asked if there was any chance life could develop on the planet. Q looked at the planet and shook his head. He said he didn't see life forming. He said the planet is considerably hotter than Mercury, no atmosphere, temperature on the day side averaging around 1000° F and the temperatures on the night side averaging as low as -500° F. He said there was another planet I might want to take a look at, though.

      Q teleported both of us instantly farther away from the pair of stars. This was another terrestrial planet, and it had a ring around it. I could also see a somewhat dusty atmosphere. Q pointed at the planet. He said that one was closer to Earth, with the temperatures being just a bit warmer there on average, it had a thin atmosphere so the temperature extremes were more than on Earth but not as extreme as on the first planet ranging from -110° F on the coldest nights at the poles during winter to 247° F in the hottest regions during the summer. He suggested we go see the surface of the planet. We flew down to the planet, through the thin atmosphere and landed on a ground made of soft dirt. I was surprised the dirt was so loose. Q said it was loose because there hadn't been any rain to wet it so it could be packed down tightly. I looked across the barren landscape. The dunes of dirt everywhere… there were rock mountains not very far away. It didn't look like it could support any form of life as it exists on Earth.

      I asked Q if this one would have life develop on it. Q said unfortunately it is sterile. Completely sterile. He said a massive solar flare from one of the stars had irradiated the planet and the building blocks of life were no longer there. I asked if he couldn't restore life, or the possibility of life. He said he's not supposed to interfere like that. I asked what if I could figure something out. He said I have free will, so I can do whatever I want there. I looked around. The only thing there seemed to be plenty of was dirt and sunlight. I asked Q if some plant life could get the process of evolving life going here. He said plants would be a good place for life to start here. It certainly wouldn't be fish… I looked around some more. Whatever plant I put here would have to be able to live through anything, in the harshest conditions. I asked Q what the air was made of. He said carbon dioxide, nitrogen, hydrogen primarily. Carbon dioxide… plants can use that… release oxygen… Oxygen bonds with hydrogen to make water… it seemed like that could start a cycle of developing life. But what kind of plant could live in this kind of harsh environment long enough to get that process started? I thought more, I found myself thinking of Walms. Why was I thinking of Walms? I remembered he planted some plants in the biodome. For some reason I was thinking that a plant created by Walms should be able to survive anywhere. I suggested that plant to Q, and he said it sounded like an excellent choice.

      So Q teleported both of us to the biodome. I looked where he indicated. There wasn't just a few small flowers… it was a miniature jungle of flowers. Apparently Walms' flowers had done very well in the biodome. Of course the biodome has very favorable conditions for plants, unlike the dead planet Q and I had been on… I went to the jungle of flowers and looked at a fairly small one, but it looked big enough to be well developed. I started carefully digging. The dream was still very vivid. I was noting the feel of the soil as I dug carefully around the plant's roots, making sure not to damage any of them. The root system was well developed… and it was moving on its own… and it bit me! I pulled it off of my arm and held the flower in such a way that the roots couldn't bite me again. I looked at the active roots… I should have expected something like that on a plant created by Walms… I asked Q if he was sure the flower could survive on that dead planet. He said he could guarantee it. He said if it couldn't, he would have told me when I suggested the plants. I carefully collected five more plants, being careful not to get bitten again… and then went back to Q. I was ready to go back to the planet, the six were about all I could keep at once without being bitten.

      Q teleported us back to the surface of the planet. He said there were places to put the flower so it wouldn't get buried in the drifts of dirt. He said it would most likely still survive and pop out after the wind storm passed, but this would give it a better advantage. We were in an area that was sheltered by rock mountains, and there was very little wind here. I got down on my knees and dug at the dirt. It was very dry and very loose. And it felt so very real. Of course it was real. I set one of the plants down beside me to dig the hole to plant it in. As soon as I set the plant down, however, the roots dug into the dirt on their own. The thing had just planted itself! So there it was, one pretty flower in the otherwise barren dirt. I went to plant another, but Q said to spread them out to make things move along more quickly. I got up and was ready to leave. Q said he thought the plant could use a bit of energy to get it started… like plants on Earth would use a bit of fertilizer to get started… I was going to use normal healing energy, but Q stopped me again. He told me not to forget who had made these flowers. I got the idea, and I gave the plant some dark energy. It immediately looked stronger. I saw inside the flower the name 'Walms' was now clearly visible. I got a brief image of a race of people developing on the planet, discovering this flower was where life had started, calling the flowers the flowers of life and worshipping Walms… and that image was a bit disturbing… oh, well. Odds were any people developing there probably wouldn't even recognize those marks as letters.

      Q and I went around the planet and planted the other flowers, or rather I let them plant themselves… gave them some dark energy, and then Q and I stood and looked at the sixth flower. It seemed six flowers weren't nearly enough to populate the planet with plant life. I told Q maybe we should bring some more. He said it wasn't necessary, but if I wanted to… Q said the planet already had a bright future… but for one problem. He teleported us to space near the planet. He said it was on a degrading orbit, and would fall into one of the suns soon. Great… nice time to tell me that… He reached out towards the planet. From my perspective it looked like he was giant and he was moving the planet with his hands. He shifted it a bit farther from the suns and said that looked good. He said that was a stable orbit for the planet. I said I thought he wasn't supposed to interfere. He said tapping it into a stable orbit is nothing compared to bringing life forms to it… He teleported us back to the biodome.

      I looked at the jungle of flowers again. I saw something farther in… it looked like a light. I wondered what that was. I crawled into the jungle of flowers, pushing towards the light. It seemed to be moving as I approached it. I kept crawling and finally I reached the edge of the flower jungle and fell out, about two and a half feet down to the floor… I was awake now. I looked back at my bed. I had been crawling through the blankets instead of the flowers, and I had fallen right out of bed. Ow… I now believed I was awake, so I lost lucidity.


      FA - I got up and went to the other room. I picked up my fluffy white kitty Princess and went into my mother's room to say good morning to her. She asked what had happened, she had heard the thud. I told her I had been dreaming and I had fallen out of bed. I sat down in the desk chair and turned to look at her… and noticed for the first time she was holding and stroking a chicken. A white chicken. Wtf? I asked her where she had gotten the chicken… she said we had always had the chicken. I asked her why she was petting a chicken. She said it had gotten stressed out, and she was trying to soothe the chicken into laying an egg. She said she wanted eggs for breakfast, but the chicken was too stressed to lay an egg now, so she was trying to get the chicken relaxed enough to lay an egg. She said if I wanted eggs, it would be up to me to soothe the chicken enough so it would lay another egg. I was just sitting there staring at my mom, with a cat in my arms, as my mom stroked the chicken and spoke soothingly to it… It was here that I woke for real.
    11. A New Beginning

      I was at the airport, and it was shaded by a dark green light. I was waiting for my next flight, which was apparently heading to France.

      The scene suddenly changed. Now, I am at my room, but the green shade was still there. I looked at my watch suspiciously, and the time was 32:10. " That is wierd. " I said to myself. I raised my hands slowly, and pinched my nose.

      It finaly occured to me that I am Dreaming!

      " Alright! " I was excited. My hair stood up. I moved my first steps and broke the mirror and jumped outside. I took a look at my surrounding, and it was green. No one was there, I was all alone. I could hear my footstep's echoes. I felt kind of afraid, but remminded myself that it was just a dream. I found the source of the light, it was emitted at the sky - a green Sun.

      I wanted to go there and desperately tried to levitate, but barely raised a foot off the ground. I decided to make a portal, but nothing appeared. I focused and imagined creating a portal and nothing happened.

      I became desperate, so I tried finding my DG. " I want my Dream Guide, so if you here me please come. " Suddenly that green light was falling at my direction. And the place started fadding, getting darker. I couldn't see anything but that light falling, and it exploded, with pretty green crystals. A piece fell at my head, strangely, it felt like a smooth hand. The crystals began forming a person. That person was a girl. About the same height as me, still glowing, I barely got to see her face. " A-Are you my Dream Guide? " I hesitated at first. She began disappearing, and everything was black again. And I woke up.


      Finally. A Lucid Dream.

    12. Cheating..Huh..

      First dream entry on this journal. Yay! Is it bad to have a dream about cheating on your girlfriend with your best friend's girlfriend? I don't know. But anyways, here's the dream:

      It's only a fragment but I remember the important part. I was at a gathering with some fellow friends when I saw my best friend's girlfriend in an empty room. Being the nice guy that I am (no intentional bragging, just like to make people happy ) I went over to comfort her. I asked,
      "What's wrong? Why aren't you enjoying the party?"
      She looked up at me with teary eyes and slumped back into her folded arms and continued to weep. So I asked again. But I couldn't hear through her gasps of air. I gently placed my hand on her back and started to draw random shapes on her back. I just did what I could to comfort her. She finally gathered herself together and told me what happened.
      "My boyfriend dumped me..."
      "What!? Why!? You're such an amazing girl! Why would he want-..." I asked and she cut me off.
      "He wanted a girl with more 'ASSets'. Emphasis on the 'ass' part."
      "That doesn't sound like him. I thought I knew him. He always kept bragging to me about how great you are."
      "Well, now he's gone. And I got no one!" The crying continued. Her sad voice almost brought me to tears. The way she sounded just tugged at my heart strings. She sounded powerless and scared. I knew that my next choice of words were going to sound way different than I intended them to, but I wanted to calm her down. I said,
      "Don't worry. You got plenty of people. Friends and family. You got me." She slowly raised her head and wiped away her tears. Then a small smile grew upon her face.
      "There we go. You have a nice smile. Show it off!" she then gave me a hug. But this hug felt nothing like a hug. It was more of an embrace. I felt strange. She then looked up at me and our eyes locked. It's like we were communicating telepathically. We both knew what would happen next. We inched closer to each other until our lips met in a passionate kiss. I didn't know what was happening for the 5 seconds that it lasted. Until I snapped out of the trance and pushed her off.
      "What are we doing!?" I asked.
      "Let's forget about this world." She whispered to me and we continued to make out until the dream faded.
      It was wrong but yet it felt right. Wow, I am messed up haha.

      *My Green Thumb*
      I remember being in MoSh's inner world. There were people working on the construction of a house. In the dream I knew it was MoSh's new house. Somehow being there with MoSh didn't tip it off to me that I was dreaming, though. I was walking around outside the house, stopping in various places and planting flowers and other plants. I would then sing to them. I wasn't thinking it was going to do any magic, I was just thinking I have heard repeatedly that it is a good idea to sing to plants to make them grow faster and better. And it was definitely working. I wondered how anyone could have an excuse for not having a beautiful garden when just a bit of singing would do that well. Trees grew tall, flowers bloomed, grasses grew… I was leaving a trail of green plants and colorful flowers behind me. I was hoping MoSh would be pleased when he saw what I had managed to do with his garden and yard.

      *Homework*
      I was sitting on my bed doing homework. I had a piece of paper in front of me instead of a computer. I was writing down a series of complex equations. My assignment was to solve them. I started working on them. I was not having any trouble with the problem. I came up with the answer I was confident in. I moved on to the next series of equations. This one was even longer and more complex. I had no doubt in mind I could solve it. I started solving it and my pencil broke… shit. I would have to sharpen it. I got up and went to the electric pencil sharpener we have in the other room. I sharpened the pencil and took it out. The pointed end was now completely flat. The pencil sharpener had eaten the tip off of my pencil! Wtf?! I tried again and this time the pencil practically disappeared into the pencil sharpener. And it still wasn't sharpened. I wondered if I had enough confidence to do my math in pen…

      *Shrooms*
      I was in the DDO village of Korthos. I looked around and thought that was strange. I looked down at myself. I was wearing armor like one of the DDO characters. I was in DDO! Wait a minute… that wasn't right… DDO isn't a virtual reality system… The only way DDO could be this real is if I was dreaming, so I did a RC and found out I was dreaming.

      I wanted to go with Tigress on this DDO dream. I wondered where she was. I thought maybe I would have to go get her. But I spotted her almost right away. I wasn't sure what character I had, but she was in the form of Envee… one of her characters that is a rogue. We left the town. Tigress said she had a quest. So I followed her for a while and we reached a cave. We went inside and wandered around for a bit, killing some kobolds as we came across them. The kobolds seemed pathetically weak. We came into a large chamber that was filled with large mushrooms. They were huge. We wandered into the mushroom patch, which was more like a forest. We wandered around for a while, seeing no sign of another way out or of any enemies. The forest of mushrooms was more like a maze. And we were completely lost in it. I thought climbing up one of the mushrooms might give one of us a view of where the exits were… but how does one climb a giant mushroom?! We were still wandering through the mushrooms when I woke.

      *Congratulations!*
      I was in a bed, and I knew right away something was not right. I didn't recognize the bed. I rolled over and there was a man there I didn't know. He was smiling at me. I saw nothing in his eyes but love. Nothing about him looked hostile or creepy except the fact he was a stranger and in my bed. We got up, and it was clear he thought he was my husband. Husband?! I wanted to figure this out. It never occurred to me that I might be dreaming. The man and I went to the car and he drove us for a ways. Apparently we had an appointment. We went into a building. This was a child welfare agency… I wondered why we were there. A woman led us back to her office. She looked over a paper for a while before she spoke. My 'husband' looked very anxious. She finally spoke. She said she had reviewed our application. She said from what she could see we would make great parents for some children in need. Children?! My 'husband' said that he still wanted a set of twins if there were any needing parents. He said he really liked the idea of twins, and that would also ensure the twins weren't separated. The woman said she had found just the kids. She went out of the office for a short time and then returned with two girls. The girls were perfect twins of each other, even dressed identically. They had dark hair pulled back into pony tails and blue dresses and blank looks on their faces. They looked to be about five years old. My 'husband' went over and hugged them both, saying they looked perfect, we'd take them. I was annoyed that he had never asked what I thought…
    14. Auric Reading and Vampires

      Synopsis:
      Two vampires, former best friends, fight over my sister. People die. I don't trust my sisters' vampire boyfriend, so he gives me a gift. An
      auric reader. Later I relive the dream as a mutant! Semi-lucid.

      Night Time Note:
      Last night was my moon night

      Auric Reading and Vampires
      (Note: In waking life my older sister once upon a time had a boyfriend. Long story short, she married his best friend instead. But everything is okay, because he still showed up to the wedding as the best man. Now the vampires in my dream are nothing like them, except for the relationships between each other)

      I'm in a stuffy room with a bunch of older middle aged people. A lady asks me "How old are you sweetie?" I tell her "Oh, I'm 25." She responds "Why you don't look a day older 15!" Then my dad from halfway across the room blurts out "That's my daughter!". Uh, well this is weird. So I leave the room.

      I'm in a University/Apartment Complex/I'm not sure. I grab my art project and tell my sisters that I'm heading home. To leave, you have to climb up a staircase before you can exit the front door. The staircase makes a few sharp turns, so even though it's rectangular, it makes a spiral pattern. And when I say climb, I mean you literally have to climb the first few steps. I'm standing on top of the staircase looking at all the confused college guys below me. They can't figure out how to get their foot on the first step. So I yell at them "You have to climb it!". They look at me bewildered and shake their heads in frustration that they still can't figure it out. Are they drunk? Oh well.

      I'm walking outside and even though it's dark, I can still make out my car from the back of the parking lot. Wait a minute, my cars trunk is open? A small female runs from the back of my car carrying a large bag! "A thief? Someone is stealing from my car!" My sister who was right behind me, tries to stop me, but I run after the thief. She's wicked fast! She runs into the shadows and I lose her. My sister tells me that thief is the Urban Pirate. No one can catch her! That only made me even more upset, she stole my things!

      We go back inside, I don't remember why. A huge drama plays out but I don't remember all of the details. My sister dumped her boyfriend. It turned out, he was a vampire! He killed, ate and turned students into mindless zombies. When my sister decided that his best friend would make a better boyfriend, out of spite, he transforms his best friend into a vampire too. A kind of, well if I can't have her, no one can!

      I didn't like her first boyfriend, for obvious reasons. He was psychotic! The only times you saw him was when he was laughing and screeching flying down the hallway chasing his next victim. He was a loud, blood-sucking, obnoxious ginger head vampire. But my sisters new vampiric boyfriend, was a whole different story. Dark hair, dark eyes. The quiet type. Didn't smile. Didn't laugh. I didn't trust him.

      He knew I didn't trust him. He knew I didn't like him around my sister, he's a vampire after all! To win my trust, he gives me a present. It's an auric reader. The strange device floats above my palm and spins like a compass trying to find north. Then it glows! It shows me the colors of people's auras. And it reveals any hidden energy.

      The
      auric reader was showing me something strange. A green toxic energy, an almost putrid green was floating just in front of me. I look around to see who this toxic energy belonged to, but there was nobody there. It's some sort of demon! The green energy swells and then enters the dark haired vampire. Well if he wasn't bad before, he is now!

      I grab my sister's arm and we quickly run away. Now there are two insane vampires on the loose. We hide in the restroom. It wasn't a smart idea, it was just the first thing that popped in my head. My sister gets sick and nearly throws up on me. I'm vomit-phobic so I'm prettying much screaming "OH MY GOD!" She apologizes but she's looking sicker by the second, like she could die from this. Wait, don't you have to die before you can become a vampire? Oh no! Did he bite my sister?

      My sister tells me we can hide in this bathroom cabinet. 1) I'm thinking, you'll throw up on me for sure 2) He's a vampire, he'll sniff us out. "No! We can't hide here!". I get a sense my sisters new boyfriend is already at the door. He's wriggling the door handle telling me to let him in! He tells me an elaborate story how he fought the demon, and a dozen zombies too. He also tells me what a good vampire he is, he hasn't killed anyone, unlike his insane best friend. But I don't believe him, what should I do? Then I remember my
      auric reader.

      I let it float above my palm again. It reads through the door and shows me his aura, it's the deepest indigo I've ever seen. Well no human is this dark, but it's not toxic, or putrid - just really really deep. So I decided this was an okay color. I open the door and he helps my sick sister out.

      The ginger vampire turned the entire school into mindless zombies! Together we gather the remaining members of my family trapped in this huge place. I use my
      auric reader to watch out for any unwanted energy. That firey red must be the ginger vampire, let's go another way.

      Now that my whole family is gathered, I find a way out for us. We just need to help my sister down these steps, and the fresh air will heal her. She only needs to leave the building to stay human! But her boyfriend started to distract my sister from leaving the building. I get angry and yell at him "I'm not going to let my sister be like you!". He looks hurt! But then he lowers his head and lets me take my sister out the building.

      The cool night air heals my sister. I become slightly lucid and think "I want a happy dream ending so I don't wake stressed!" And then, we found the ginger vampire and the urban pirate had fallen deeply in love. Now the two of them were laughing mad together. A dangerous a couple, but at least their happy! The urban pirate starts to dance like a drunken wench, my mom starts to cheer and clap her on!


      I think I'm waking up. I want to remember the dream so I start to recall it. But in reality I'm still dreaming, so I just replay the dream again.

      This time as I replay the dream I'm a half mutated freak, complete with a tail. I met a boy. He was a born with a tail. Everyone made fun of him and his whole life he hid his tail in shame. Until he met me. We held hands as we safely herded my family out of the toxic building, tails wagging and all

      And then I woke up
    15. The Dream Pipes

      Have you seen, the Dream Pipes?

      Synopsis: I dream of a massive pipe-like construction connecting all of the dream worlds.

      The Dream Pipes

      I
      don't remember the beginning of the dream. Only that eventually I walked into a room that looked like a forest. But after looking at this room some more, I realize it's fake and the walls are just painted to look like a sky. One of the walls was like a garage door. It opens up revealing this huge factory complex on the other side. A black man in a bright blue jumper was busy tinkering away with machinery on the other side. The door was closing, but I could see beyond the factory was a rich green forest! With REAL sunlight.

      "Wait! I just want to cross through!"

      He has a real happy voice and says "Okay! You can go through. Watch your step"

      The place was cluttered with, I dunno, things, industrial things. If I knew anything about mechanics I could probably tell you what they were. Just imagine a giant airplane threw up all over the place. In fact, this place was more like a hanger. I'm outside! I can see the rich green forest just beyond this vast courtyard. . but then. . .the scene quickly morphs as I take a step closer. The forest was just an illusion to allure me to what this place really was, the Dream Pipes!

      The Dream Pipes is this huge steel construction floating in space. Giant massive pipes, interconnected, and then funneling out in all directions towards the infinite horizon. I was facing the entrance way, gaping holes sitting along each other in a neat row on the courtyard. It was as busy as an airport. And like an airport a bus load of people would walk in and off the dream pipes. They all seemed to know where and what they were doing. I was the only tard who looked lost. Honestly, I was just taken back by the scene and the scale and scope of these Dream Pipes!

      I was still several yards away from entering any of these steel tunnels leading off into space. Above each one was a digital sign signifying its destination. I tried to carefully read them, to make sure I would go to the right place. But reading was hard in the dream. That or the symbols were just alien to me.

      I get a flashback of the last time I tried to ride the Dream Pipes. It didn't go well! First, you have to select your pipe wisely. There was no turning back, and if you choose the wrong destination, well its the same as getting on the wrong airplane, you're in it for the long ride. But after you choose a pipe, I just remember you are taken to a long glass corridor floating up in the sky. This was like a security check point where they examined you. I just remember I didn't like it, and found the whole process annoying, time consuming and confusing. I remember last time the employees were so useless they didn't even set me up with the right Dream Pipe and I was stuck in limbo.

      And then, there is one Dream Pipe I am terrified of the most. You can think of this Dream Pipe as taking you into the astral. But you've got to fly on your own wings. What the pipe does is shoot you out into empty space towards your destination. There is no actual pipe to guide you. If you don't start flying on the path it sets you on, you can just fall into the dark abyss these Dream Pipes seemed to emerge from. Not to mention you have to fly at the same speed it spits you out in because that destination door isn't staying open forever! So if you can't fly as a speeding bullet, you aren't ready, turn back.

      There was just something indescribable about these Dream Pipes, I felt like, they really do connect all dream worlds. At the time that frightened me!

      When I woke up I didn't remember these Dream Pipes at all!! As far a I am concerned, this is the first time I've ever seen them! But in the dream I 'remembered' them. Oh and, riding the Dream Pipes is a total psychedelic vortex trip!................ZOOOOOOM!!


      There is a Dream Pipe connecting our heads, did you know?
