    1. Driving a Saturn (fragment)

      I am parked along the road in a junky Saturn car, cleaning trash off the dash and floor. I stuff a bunch of trash into a couple of plastic shopping bags, then I open the glove box to find that there is a pile of chicken wings in the middle with BBQ and honey mustard dumped in along the sides. Becoming a bit grossed out, I pull out the whole glove box and throw it out along the road. I start the car and back it along the grassy area off the ride of the road. I find a dirt bridge over the large ditch that I can cross and turn around on.

      Sometimes I'm too lazy to do it, but WBTB is definitely worth the trouble. Another 2 or 3 lucid dreams in a row, seperated by a few FA's so it's difficult to tell how many different dreams there were. Too bad my recall isn't any better.

      Friend's house

      I am at a friend's house. I don't know what tips me off, but I do a nose pince RC and realize that I can breathe. I become lucid, and work on stabilizing the dream. I also work on trying to convince my friend that this is a dream. My friend doesn't believe it. He looks into the living room next to us.

      "I think I'll turn on a light in there, unless you can do it with your 'magical powers'" he says in a sarcastic tone.

      I think about trying to turn the lights on just by thinking about it, but I'm not sure how. Instead, I run into the room and try a bit of anti-gravity tricks. My friend still doesn't believe me. He walks to the light switch on the wall. I run up to the wall and onto the wall like Spiderman. I climb up to the ceiling. My friend is still skeptical.

      We go into the kitchen. There is a woman sitting at the table who looks like my mother. Perhaps she is my mother. Things get a bit fuzzy after this. I believe that I tried summoning Monk to try the dream avatar posession technique again, but it doesn't work too well. I also try slowly doing a 360 degree turn, examining everything around me, which I read in someone's dream journal was a good technique. This helps a little.


      Back home

      I wake up. Wary of FA's, I do a nose pinch RC. Things look normal around me, but to my surprise I can still breathe. I think of ways to increase dream time or stability, and notice a stopwatch next to my bed. I pick it up, and watch the hands ticking. Interestingly, they tick regularly, just like in real life. To be honest, they skip a beat now and then, but for the most part the watch ticks like normal. I remember someone's post on Dreamviews about watching a clock, and how it extended dream time. I lay in my bed, and watch the second hand.

      tick-tick-tick-tick, it ticks like normal. I watch it for 30 seconds, surprised that dream clock could work so regularly. I wonder if this will increase dream time. Already it has given me a stable dream for about 30 seconds.

      I get out of bed, holding the stopwatch to my ear and hearing the ticking. Whenever it stops ticking, which it does every once in a while, I point at it and say "tick" and it starts again. I keep counting the ticks trying to use this to anchor me to the dream. I concentrate on increasing the vividness and stability of the dream. On my way out the door of my bedroom, I see a hand made sign posted next to my door that says "remember to increase vividness".

      I chuckle to myself and start downstairs, all the while repeating the commands "increase vividness" and "increase stability" and now and then demanding another "tick" from the watch. I run my hand along the railing to try to anchor myself. Much of this dream centers on me walking around the house trying to increase the vividness of the dream. I try summoning Monk again, once in the kitchen and once in the living room, but it doesn't seem to work. I seem to have a mental block about controlling some things in dreams, even though I know it is a dream. Still, this dream seems to last a bit longer than dreams have been for a while. Maybe it was the watch that helped.


      False Awakening

      I wake up. I go downstairs to the bathroom and brush my teeth. As I turn to leave the bathroom, I notice something is weird with my vision. I seem to be taller than the door, and then I notice that my head bumps against the ceiling. I think something about the possibility of a dream, but I decide to do an RC to make sure. I pick up a bottle of hand soap and try to read the ingredients. Nothing makes sense. I'm dreaming.

      I leave the bathroom, and decide to go outside and have some fun. For some reason, I feel that I should be quiet going out so I don't wake everyone up. I unlock the back door, and slip out into the sunshine. I decide to try some flying, and jump into the air. I bounce around a bit on the ground, which is fun too. I realize that it helps to stabilize the dream and increase vividness by running and being active, so I run around like a mad man.


      I find myself driving in a car. This is a false awakening, because I have forgotten all about the lucid dream. This may even have happened later in the morning, but I seem to feel that it happened after the last lucid part ended. I am listening to a call in talk show on the radio, and the man talking is broadcasting from near where I am driving. People are pulling over to talk to him, or else pulling into the driveway of a park off to the left to turn around. I pull into the park behind them.

      I do a nose pince RC for some reason, and find that I can breathe. This is rather unexpected, and I am a bit skeptical. I pinch harder, but can still breathe. "OK kiddies," I say out loud, "if these failed RC's continue I am going to have to pull over and figure this out." I look at my digital clock, which is wrong when I'm awake anyway but is consitent. It looks OK, but when I look again it has changed, and even displays the letter "F".
      I'm dreaming.

      I pull over, and turn off the car. Getting out, I think of what to do. I remember that staying active and moving is helpful in maintaining the dream, and also how exhillerating it felt in my other dream to bounce into the ground and splash through puddles. I jump onto the hood of my car, onto a picknick table, and into the tree above me. I remember feeling as though I had to prove this was a dream (I may have still had mental reservations), and I am a bit concerned because I'm not floating as well as usual. Gravity seems to be OK. But then I jump from the tree and launch myself into the air, and flying works decently. I aim for a few puddles, and splash into them, bouncing up into the air as though the puddles were springboards. Water does that for some reason in my dreams. Then I skim low across the ground until I wake up. Just before waking up, I remember hearing the man on the radio (or some voice) talking to someone. I can hear him saying, "you say you have nothing against Mormonism, so why are you talking about demon possession while you are talking about Mormons?"

    3. Lucid Dream: Flying Car, etc

      Lucid Dream: (Task Attempted)


      I guess my recall is a bit better. I'm still not sure how this dream started or at which point I became lucid (so I'm just going to use blue for the whole thing).

      The first thing that I remember is driving in a car on the freeway through a really bad construction area. I got to a place where the gravel was so thick that the car was barely able to make it through. After this I thought, "I don't have to deal with this", and I made the car start to fly.

      At first I thought that I was cool and special for being able to make my car fly. Then I looked around and noticed that other vehicles were also flying. As I got close to one camper I reached out and grabbed at one. It turned out to be just a toy camper.

      As I flew along I saw lots of boxes and packages floating in the air. I flew at them and grabbed them (I must have been in a convertable now).

      In the first box I saw that there were old children's games and puzzles. I remember thinking, "Cool I love lucid dreams where you are opening things that are a surprise to you. I wonder what will be in the next box." (That was the first time--as I look back--that I really know I was lucid--although I may have been lucid from the start).

      I opened other packages, but most ended up being old things that you might find in a closet. Nothing really exciting.

      Then I landed and was in a store. This part is fuzzy. I remember tyring to figure out something cool to do. Sex actually crosed my mind, but I quickly dismissed it because I was afraid that I would wake up. Even thinking about it made the dream feel fragile.

      So I went outside. I could see that I was near Lake Powell. I could see the deep canyon below the dam.

      "The Blue Bridge Task...! I need to cross the canyon on the blue bridge." I started moving toards the canyon, hoping to see the bridge at any moment.

      A couple of times I was feeling the dream fade as I got excited about the bridge task. I thought, "I've got to ground myself."

      I looked down at my arms and hands. I rubbed my hands together and said out loud what I was doing, "I'm rubbing my left arm. It feels pretty real...but almost like I'm a little numb--like there is a layer of something between my fingers and arm.. Now I'm gripping both of my hands together. Same thing--it almost feels real, but I can tell a difference. I'm glad I'm doing this. I have been forgetting to remember to touch things. I like to touch things in my LDs...makes them feel more real-life..."

      I looked at the canyon again. I was getting close now. I realized that I was riding a bike. The ground was sloping toward the huge drop-off. I wasn't seeing any bridges appear.

      I strained harder to make a bridge suddenly appear.....

      ....but ended up waking up instead.....
    4. Hitting two little girls on the freeway

      Dream:

      I was a passanger in a car driving down the freeway. I suddenly saw two little girls (ages about 5 and 4) in the road walking right to where out car would be passing in seconds. They were so close when we passed I couldn't tell if we hit them or not. We pulled over. I looked back and saw a man standing over two little bodies at the side of the road. I ran back. I was horrified.

      But when I got to them the little girls were sitting up and appeared to be alright. They had been knocked down, but not directly hit. I suddenly recognized the girls. I said" I know you. I taught you in preschool last year.....or was that two years ago? Remember me?" Neither girl seemed to remember. But then I realized that they were so young. Of course they wouldn't remember something that happened two years ago.

      Arrow to the Knee

      It was the middle of the night and there was a full moon surrounded with a yellow haze. The first thing I can remember was being an ant and I was being chased. I was being chased by another larger ant who was pissed about something I did. I ran through the jungle like environment of the grass field. I felt compelled to follow the direction of the yellow moon. I eventually came across an ant size house and recognized it as home. I ran inside and locked the door to keep the other ant away.

      Suddenly I was human again, but didn't take any notice to the change. I looked up and saw my mother and another man standing next to her.
      "Who the hell are you?" I asked the man confused.
      "I'm your step father. Don't you remember?" He explained.
      "I don't have a step father." I said.

      We continued to argue it for a little while. Somewhere along the way we got mad at each other and both pulled out bows and arrows. We then ran around the house shooting each other, but mostly missing. I used to be a dreamer like you, then I took an arrow to the knee. In other words, he shot me in the knee and I woke up.


      Scorpions

      I was in my grandma's living room with my sister and we were just standing around doing nothing. Then I felt the urge to look towards the hallway. On the ceiling I noticed a large black scorpion slowly lowering itself from a string of web. I jumped back shocked because there aren't supposed to be scorpions in Ohio and I don't like them. I sprinted through the hallway to find my grandmother. When I found her she was in the kitchen standing at the sink and making a salad.
      "There's a really freaking huge scorpion over there!" I yelled to her.
      "Scorpion?" She said confused.
      "Waaaaiiit! I forgot my sister!"

      I ran back down the hallway and had to duck real low because the scorpion was half way down to the floor already. When I got to the living room, I didn't have to say anything to get her to follow me. As I ran back to the kitchen I saw my grandma with a huge bucket of water. She placed it in the hallway and then grabbed a hose connected to the sink. It seemed that she was prepared.

      The scorpion had lowered itself to the ground and multiple baby scorpions came from behind it. The larger scorpion charged first and tried to leap over the bucket of water. My grandma shot it with the hose and knocked the scorpion into the bucket. She then continued to spray it and kick the bucket over like a boss.

      Many baby scorpions then swarmed around the bucket as they were sprayed with water. A small red scorpion managed to sneak by onto a shelf to my right. It jumped onto me and stung my arm. I grabbed it and smashed it against the counter. I started to feel a severe burning where I was stung, but I could only ignore it. I then took a glass full of water and started splashing the scorpions with it. It was surprisingly effective.

      When all the scorpions were dead we all sat down at the table to rest. "Anyone get stung?" I asked. I looked at them and noticed they had stingers straight through their hands. I then brought my hand to my face and saw at least 7 long green stingers piercing through my right hand. I rested my hand on the table and made a plan to pull the stingers out. My hand was starting to shake and burn from the poison and it felt horrible. I managed to pull one of the two needles out of my index finger. It was too painful for me to continue and I woke up.

      You Drive

      It was the middle of the day and I was driving an awesome looking yellow car. My dad was sitting in the passenger seat and instructing me. Suddenly the car started picking up speed beyond my control. We were roaring through the city at impossible speeds and I struggled to avoid running into everything. It was at this moment that I suddenly remembered I hate driving and told my dad to drive. So we somehow managed to switch seats while moving at 300mph. Then my dad decided that I should be the one driving and we switched seats again. We kept switching back and forth a few more times until it was actually funny. As I was driving, a giant wave of water came pouring through the city. I motioned to try to steer away from it, but it was too late. The wave smashed through the windshield and the force of it snapped my neck. Needless to say, I died and woke up.

      Booster Shots

      So I was just riding along on a school bus and everything was fairly normal. Then a man in the front got out of his seat and announced that it was booster shot day. So everyone including me got in a line. I'm not afraid of needles so I had nothing to worry about. Then I saw the man give the kid in front of me a shot through the anal wall. He then motioned me to come forward, but I slowly stepped back.
      "Now don't make this any harder than it needs to be." he said as he move closer.
      "That's not how you give a booster shot!" I yelled at him as I moved further away.
      "Kid, I don't have time for this." He said losing his patience.

      I took the shot away from him and ran to the back of the bus. I started swinging it through the air like a knife or sword. "Stay back! Don't come any closer!" I said defensively. I then saw the bus driver turn his head and look at me. Shockingly it was an alien head. The aliens head then stretched all the way in front of me as he was still driving.
      "What seems to be the problem here?" he asked me.
      "He wants to stick a needle up my ass!" I shouted, as I pointed to the man.
      "Well then let him." He said calmly.
      "Hell no!" I exclaimed.

      I then stood behind the stone column in the back of the bus. I started swinging my needle around defensively as they moved in closer. Luckily I woke up before anything bad happened.

      Sometimes I wonder why I insist on living when I'm in the dream world.

    6. 12/17/11 Drivng Scared, Drivng, Again...

      Had a bad night last night, but was able to remember 2 similar dreams.

      Driving Scared
      I remember being in a parking lot. It was a very small parking lot. I have no idea why I drove my mom's car, I think she was still inside the store next to it. I put it in reverse without thinking, and the car was idling. I got scared to death because I hadn't driven in that kind of scenario before. My foot reached for the break, but instead, it was the gas. I shot down into the highway backwards. Luckily, my car was halfway in the grass and in the turning lane.

      Freaking out so bad, I finally found the break, and my mom popped up. I yelled at her to please get in the car and drive back up.

      Later on, I was at someone's house. I was up in her "loft", doing something. I think packing. I came downstairs and got into the car, along with my other three friends inside. All of a sudden, something scared my friend so bad, that she looked like a pale alien. Her eyes were popping out. It was that bad. I don't know what. I freaked out too.


      Driving.. Again
      I was in my mom's large suburban with my twin sister, Sam. I don't know why my mom wasn't with me, but I drove anyway. I backed out of the driveway and turned left. I was trying to turn, to avoid the creek/drop off, but I didn't turn all the way. Once again, I couldn't find the break, and the car dipped off the road. Slowly, it did again. I held my breath. Then the whole thing flew downhill, flying into holes, threatening to flip over. I screamed to Sam, "Holy crap! I can't find the break, put on your seatbelt!" When we dipped into another hole, finally, it happened. The car flipped over. We were upside down in a second. I prayed and prayed that I wouldn't smash into the window. I didn't, and rolled out of the open side window. Sam was okay, we were just paralyzed from fear.

      I ran back to my mom's house with Sam. I told her that we had run off the road, and flipped her car. She wasn't mad, she was just shocked and asked us if we were okay.

    7. The Hunt Starts

      I was having a long traveling dream of driving over different highways. Then it started to get dark and a girl in the car yelled "LOOK!" I did but saw nothing at first then I saw a tornado off in the distance.
      The guy driving started racing away to get away but when I looked again it was right near us! Then it tore open the car from the windshield and the girl screamed but suddenly I was not buying this dream any more. I said in a exasperated tone, "I got it" and put my hands up and held the twister and waited for it to dissipate, which it did very quickly. The skies brightened and everyone in the car made statements on how lucky and relieved they were but I was pouting.
      I was thinking "this stinks! Nothing in these dreams is real." When I was a kid everything seemed so real, now it's like watching a crappy black and white movie with predictable crappy plots and crappy predictable actors, blah.

      I awoke. "I should be focusing on the short haired girl [a reoccurring character former dreams]," I thought since it seems she really is me in some form.

      This new dream was just as vivid and the like the other but this time it had a short haired girl in it. I saw her and interacted but there was nothing special about this girl. When I said telepathically {it's me} she just looked at me like I said it out loud and waited for me to follow up that statement. This girl is just another DC.

      I had two more dreams something like this is but different environments and each time the girl in it was not the real deal. The last dream I had, had me trying to talk to the girl when some other girl nearby whipped out a knife, and with a huge smile, stabbed me in my left shoulder where the collar bone would be! This kind of pissed me off in a "these dreams are not helping" kind of way. I looked down and the gaping slashed hole and closed it with my thoughts and shook my head and thought "this is not working." Exasperated I woke up and felt a little defeated.


      Notes: I have never willed someone into my dreams before so by default I instead did what I have done plenty of times, created a DC. Tonight I will try a new tactic of replaying her "roles" in my former dreams to get her essence and then call out for that.
    8. Should Have Explored. November 22nd, 2011

      Finally Lucid! Yowza! Holy balls, is that realistic!

      'Bout durn tam!

      Anyway...

      First, I had this dream where I was driving all around my neighborhood and the highway, but I was driving from the passenger seat, and I was having a hard time reaching the pedals and controlling the car. I kept crashing into things, and driving the wrong way and stuff. I knew I was causing trouble and everything, but I was in that state of mind where you're just like, "Shit, I don't even care right now. Killed your child? That's too bad. Fuck it." Eventually I caught the eye of a police officer, and he puts me in hand cuffs not because I was being arrested, but because He didn't want me trying to fight him or something.

      Then, I was at this art gallery with my mom, and there was a lot of vivid art all around. I only vaguely remember this one abstract painting of a little boy, and this one painting which was just an empty canvas with a dent in the middle of it as if someone punched it. It was on the floor on this stand that allowed it to stand on its corner. I remember tripping on something and hitting it by accident, and I was relieved that no one saw me.

      Then I was at this restaurant/hospital with the cast of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. While I was sitting on these waiting steps with Frank (Danny DeVito), he was destroying everyone's jackets and shoes. Then when we got to the front desk, there were two doctors we were talking to. They were both girls, and one of them was very attractive, but she had really low self-esteem, and thought she was ugly. Dennis, who was suddenly there, decided that he was going to take advantage of this doctor for sex. He told her that he would "pay for another check up with some extra for 'the rest'." When we were about to leave, I couldn't find my shoes because Frank destroyed them. Everyone was yelling at me because I was taking so long, but I tried to tell them it wasn't my fault. Eventually we all left, and I was suddenly in this bay with Charlie and Frank. The we were pretty close to the shore, and you could see a bridge in the background. The water was very bright and rainbow-colored. Charlie and I were making fun of Frank because he was seeing everything in a really weird way. For instance, I think the water was rainbow-colored because that's how he saw it. Also, Frank was straddling this wooden board, but because of the way he was seeing things, to him, the board looked like it was curved (like if he was sitting on a water noodle).

      Suddenly I was in this room, and it was DE that it was sort of a doctor's office as well. It looked like my room, but the carpet was maroon, and there was only my bed, another bed on the other side of the room, and a door where one shouldn't be. It looked like the far side of the room went on forever. Suddenly, I was lucid. All this time doing reality checks and I get a spontaneous lucid dream. I did do some reality checks to make sure, however. I looked at the clock and noticed that it was 10:09. I knew that this was a real time (although the nine looked funny), so I looked at my hands, and noticed I had six fingers on my right hand. I took all of this very calmly, and didn't freak out at all, which is good. Also this dream was very realistic. Now I know what others are talking about when they say they confuse it with waking life. The other one and a half lucids I've had were really fuzzy. With this, I thought I was already awake. Anyway, I noticed a notebook on my bed. I looked at it, and it was DE that it was supposed to be a variation of my dream journal. When I started reading, I started losing lucidity. In the notebook were poems, and one of them was supposed to be about how life is meaningless, and it started out, "It is sully that Thanksgiving is a lifetime." I don't remember the rest, except for lines here and there that had things like, "s(eui.)ia" which I just figured was Latin or something, and I thought, "wouldn't it be something if I woke up and found out that these were real Latin words?" I thought the poem was really good so I went to write it down so I would remember it, hoping it would be there when I woke up. When I was about to start writing, I snapped to my senses and my lucidity came back. I tried to make the hot nurse from the other dream appear, but I was impatient, and I didn't use good technique (turning around, turning back) so I figured that I had no control in this dream. I walked over to the other bed and flopped down. Since there was nothing left to do, I chose to try to have an out of body experience from the lucid. I felt the vibrations of sleep paralysis while still in the dream, and when I was actually awake and laying there waiting for sleep paralysis, it had already passed. Silly me should've just explored the dream.

      Woo! Been taking some B6, 5-HTP and Melatonin before bed, for the past couple of days, so my dreams have been coming back in full force.

      "Everybody Out of the Deadpool!"

      I was disembodied, watching Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds version) being led through some industrial facility. It was being run by an evil syndicate and I believe it had an oil refinery to use as a front. The villains had taken Wade captive, and were going to perform all types of experiments on him - whether he liked it or not - to turn him into their mutant weapon: Deadpool. I could see a screen that was showing what mutant abilities they were going to be adding to his own, and I saw that it once referenced something about his 'motor-mouth', as if it was something that they were assessing. Wade was walking with this woman - who obviously didn't want to hear a thing he had to say - and he was just cracking all types of jokes. The woman was getting very visibly annoyed. It was rather hilarious. From the way he was acting, you wouldn't have been able to tell that he was being held there against his will.

      Sooner or later, there was a battle going on inside this facility. I believe Wade's team had come to bust him out, and to take down the syndicate, but I'm not exactly sure. I do know that a plan was devised to destroy the facility by some sort of nuclear device. I remember panic, as people were trying to stop the explosion and/or escape the facility. At the very end, the initial device had been disarmed, but someone else had set a back-up plan into motion, that caused the oil running through the facility to be channeled up into one single tunnel, where it began to well up. I could see someone running through the hallways, trying to escape the facility, and the ground around them was shaking. Telephone poles near the exit were wobbling. These were ominous signs that there was a massive explosion building beneath the facility. Then, the oil burst out of a single [manhole?], spraying an enormous geyser of oil into the air. My view pulled out, showing the full hundreds of feet that the black fluid shot into the air, piercing a large layer of green clouds that hung over the city. Gravity soon began to take hold, once the geyser hit its apex. The green clouds turned out to be a thick layer of methane gas that was hanging over the city (exactly like the scene in The Mask where Stanley and Tina are overlooking the city from the park, and it shows all the green methane emissions in the air).

      In what I believe was slow motion, I witnessed the villains watch this jet of black oil fly up into the air, blooming into an umbrella and falling back down toward the layer of methane that over the city. At that same moment, a fire was ignited in the facility, a trail of fire streaked up the oil geyser and toward the methane gas that the upward jet had broken through, and that the downward arc of falling oil was about to re-enter. I saw the look of impending doom on their faces. They knew what was about to happen. The fire - doing what it does - surged up the geyser, through the hole in the green gas, up to the apex of the oil fountain, and then began to rain back down toward the cloud of flammable methane. After a short moment of dramatic silence, the entire methane cloud combusted, creating an explosion, across the entire city, that would have rivaled any destructive blast that the team might have used to blow up the facility. The enormous mushroom cloud over the city was the last thing I remember of the dream.


      Dream Two
      "No R.I.P. for the Weary"

      I was in my old house in Canterbury. GV was gone, and I was in our room, with her father asleep in his own room, across the house. It was nighttime outside, and I was getting ready for bed. I had some kind of figurine or something that I was moving from one spot to another, and I suddenly began to feel eyes on me. I looked toward the window, still holding the figurine. Through the curtains, inside, and the bushes which sat outside the window, I saw a face and two eyes staring back at me. It was JJ. She gave me a mischievous smile and moved away from the window, as if to try and undo the fact that I had caught her spying on me. A little excited by this, I decided to go to the front door and invite her in. (Even though I was still living with GV, in the dream, I was single, just as we were for the last few months of our living together, IRL.)

      When I went to the living room, I went to open what I thought was the front door, and it turned out to be GV's dad's room door, which had switched sides of the house. I apologized to him and then went to the other side of the house, closer to where the front door should be, given this (new) layout. When I opened this door, it was the door to the carport, instead. I realized how strange this was. When I turned back to the living room, I realized that everything was backward. The house was set-up completely differently than it had been in waking life. It occurred to me that I was dreaming. What I didn't know was how long I'd been dreaming. I remembered that JJ was supposed to be coming in/over, and I'd wondered if I had fallen asleep before she arrived. Unsure about this, and quite anxious see where things were going to go with her, I tried to wake myself up, to make sure she wasn't really coming over.

      I "woke up" on my bed - completely oblivious to the fact that I was still dreaming - and went to the door (still in my old house, not my present one). JJ was there, and I let her in, happy to see that I hadn't missed the opportunity. She hung out in the room for a while, and then we inevitably started to fool around. Just then, there was a knock at the door. I went back out to open it, and my ex MJ was standing there. I knew that MJ and JJ didn't really like each other, so I was trying to stall MJ, so that she wouldn't know exactly what was going on here. It wasn't very long after this awkward moment, that I involuntarily received the most perfect distraction...

      Zombies.

      Out of nowhere, a small band of zombies made its way into the house. (I had been talking with KC about The Walking Dead, the tv show, last night at work.). We all scrambled to get out of the house, grabbing whatever make-shift weapons that we could. Passing by the kitchen, I remember turning back to grab the knife set from off of the counter. We made our way through the laundry room and into the carport, and I had to frantically stab at some of the undead that were trying to clamber over the fence to get us. While my arm was extended, one of the zombies reached its head up and opened wide, aiming to take a huge chunk out of my arm. I saw the teeth come down toward my arm, and I thought to myself "NOOOOOOOO!!!!" knowing what was in store for me. All of a sudden, as if because of that moment of panic, the zombie's mouth froze in place with its teeth just resting around my arm, having not bitten into it. It was literally just hanging there. Only taking a short moment to wonder 'what the hell?' I then got myself back in gear, and we began to move away from the house.

      We didn't get very far before a black van (identical to the one GV used to drive IRL, actually) came screeching around the corner, directly toward us. We scrambled to dive out of the way, but the van ended up smashing into MJ and then crashing into the house. I ran back over to the accident and saw that MJ was in really bad shape, but just barely still alive. Her body looked pretty mangled, and her face was all bloodied and bruised. She needed medical attention and fast. I knelt over her, trying to tend to her and make sure she was still alive, and some bratty kid (a crowd had gathered after the accident) was teasing me by saying something like "Awww, look at G taking care of the wittle baby..." or something like that. I told the kid off - but really wanted to kick his ass - and went back to care for MJ. There is a bit of a gap here, where I can't remember exact details, but it turned out that the driver of the van was someone from the syndicate that was holding Wade Wilson captive, in the first dream.

      JS, another neighborhood friend of mine, showed up, and we were able to take this guy down, after getting him out of the wreckage. He'd tipped us off - somehow - that there were more of them coming after me, because I had allegedly helped Wade escape, earlier (though I don't actually remember being in the previous dream. Just watching it). Another set of headlights beamed into the area, notifying us that someone else would be coming around the corner soon. I told JS that they would be coming for me, and to get MJ out of there. I knew that the zombies were still in the area, but I had to draw all attention away from my friends. Just as the next vehicle was coming around the bend, I took off and ran around to the other side of the house. Moving around the far side, to circle around the building and let the car pass by where I had once been, I looked to one side. There, leaning up against the wall, was Robocop. He was just...standing there. It looked like he was in a sleep-stasis mode, with his head down, hiding back behind some bushes as if he had been placed there. I thought to myself 'damn, I could really use his help right now', but had to keep moving, because I was still in the open, and knew that any vehicle passing by my house would see me, once they looked around the corner.

      I rounded the back side of the house, and then came back around on the other side. From there, I could see JS helping MJ down the street, holding her up while walking beside her. I took one more look around the corner, to make sure the coast was clear, and went to meet them, knowing that the car had already passed where we'd once been. Just as I reached them, though, I was attacked from behind. A man who reminded me of Simon Phoenix (Wesley Snipes) from the movie Demolition Man was all over me. We started fighting in the street, and this dude apparently knew what he was doing. He had counters for almost everything I threw at him, and I was beginning to think that I was going to lose this match. Suddenly, I got a hold of a pair of handcuffs - though I can't remember where I got them from. It took a bit more struggle, but I was able to get them fitted on his wrists. He wasn't done, though. He kept fighting me, tenaciously, and was boasting to me about how he could pick his cuffs. He said that once he got his hands free, he was going to kill me. We struggled some more - both of us now lying on the asphalt - and I had to hold his wrists apart to try to keep one hand from reaching the other cuff. Eventually, though, he overpowered me and snapped one of the cuffs off. Before he could act, I grabbed the fingers of one of his hands. I could see the shock grow in his eyes as I began to push backward on the fingers. He was silently pleading with me not to break them. In my heart, I really didn't want to break them. I knew it was going to be a sickening feeling, as I had never broken someone's bones before, IRL. This was a matter of life and death, though, and this guy had to be immobilized. With one final push, I snapped all four fingers backward, to where they literally folded back on his hand, severed at the knuckles and leaving only bloody stumps attached to the palm.

      The man screamed in pain, but kept on fighting. Even with a broken hand, he ended up overpowering me and kneeling over me, pulling out some kind of weapon and making a gesture which telegraphed that he was about to introduce me to a world of hurt. Just in time, though, gunfire rang out, and the man stopped. He looked from me to JS, nearby, who was holding a machine gun (that I immediately just assumed he had taken from one of the villains). We then looked from the gun barrel to the spot behind my opponent, where the gun was aimed, just in time to see a zombie - which was just about to attack me and the guy I was fighting, fall to pieces, its body practically split in half by the short burst of gunfire. Spouts of blood squirted up from the split torso, which then fell to the ground. My attacker looked just as shocked as I was. He looked back at JS, who had just saved his life, and then down at me. Seemingly having a change of heart, he stood up and reluctantly backed off.

      Then, another set of headlights. Another van came roaring around the turn, and we all scrambled away again, before it could run us over. I jumped to my feet, borrowing the gun from JS and running after the passing van, which rounded another corner and tried to make a U-Turn. Running up on the van, I let bullets spray into the driver's side window, killing the driver and throwing him out of the van. I then jumped inside and brought the van around to pick up the others. We hauled ass toward the front of the neighborhood, just as another van was passing us, presumably driving to where we'd just been. I knew that they would be turning back around shortly, once they realized we were no longer there. Gunning it toward the intersection at the front of the neighborhood, and looking back in the rear-view to see if the other van was behind us, I nearly froze when I looked back in front of us again and saw a fighter jet heading straight toward us, in the night sky. Before I even had a chance to react, a volley of missiles streaked out from the jet, flying directly over the roof of our van and blowing up the van that had been coming up behind us. The jet screamed through the air and flew over top of us, trailing the missile exhaust. I recognized that the help had come from Wade's team that had come to stop the evil syndicate, before (but still wasn't able to piece together that these were dreams).

      I was momentarily relieved, but then I realized that we were driving one of those same vans, and that the jet would probably be coming around to make another pass and take us out, not knowing who was driving. I told everyone that we had to ditch the van as soon as possible, and I sped through the intersection to get as far away from the neighborhood as possible before stopping so we could bail out. I don't remember ever actually leaving the van though, before waking up.

      "Drop Dead Freddy"

      I was on some kind of trip with a bunch of people around my age. There was a girl there, who I was getting pretty close to, but I can't remember if it's someone I know in waking life. We were in a stadium-like place, where there was a slasher-type of scenario going on. Scores of people in the crowd were getting killed, and no one was able to find out who was doing the killing.

      Turned out to be my ol' buddy Freddy Krueger, slicing through crowd patrons left and right. There is a whole lot that went on, that I really don't remember. At one point, I was walking along the ramparts of a castle-type of building, and a man (who seemed possessed by something which made him zombie-like) was pushed off of a building by someone else. The undead-ish man hit the ground far below, lay there for a few moments, and then slowly started to stand back up as if he didn't feel a thing. Can't remember if Freddy was actually controlling him or what.

      Later, I was watching some of Freddy's killings from a disembodied perspective. There was one kid who was in a small room - watching TV or something - and suddenly Freddy came out of nowhere and confronted the kid, ramming two of his razor-tipped fingers up the teen's nostrils. My view elevated until I could only see the upper torso of the victim, and Freddy continued to raise his arm, practically lifting the convulsing kid up from his feet while blood gushed down his killer's arm. Freddy just started into the kid's face, as if studying his work, grinning. Then, strangely, I couldn't see the rest of Freddy's body - just the wrist and gloved hand driving itself up the boy's nostrils. Freddy's other hand then ripped its way up and out of the kid's body, from the inside; somewhere up near the collarbone. The first, gloved hand pushed itself into the skull until it seemed like the entire glove was going to disappear into it. Then, simultaneously, the two hands each grabbed their own portion of the kid's face and upperbody, and then Freddy literally pulled the kid's body apart from within - as if he'd teleported his own body into the kid, while the razors were up his nose - stepping out of the mangled, gory mess as if he'd been wearing a break-away human suit.

      Freddy was a real bad-ass in this dream. Just brutal. He wasn't his wise-cracking self, this time. He was all business. It turned out that the girl I'd been hanging out with, earlier, was pregnant (though I can't remember whether she was, in the beginning of the dream, or not). Freddy knew this, and his intention was to abduct the girl and somehow get her to a hospital and induce her labor, so that he could possess the child and be reborn through her. He'd gotten the girl in his grasp and was dragging her out of a stadium exit, when a young version of Nancy - from the old Nightmare on Elm Street movies - showed up. She was amazing, herself, in how strong she was (both in ability and personality), and she was determined to stop Freddy's plan.

      Somehow, she'd developed the strength to fight Freddy, and there was this massive showdown in the woods. I remember watching it, still with no body of my own, but I don't remember many of the details of it. She ended up completely getting the best of him, though. They squared-off against each other, at the end of the fight, and Freddy - frustrated with having been matched by this young girl, lunged at her, nails bared. Without warning, the dream 'skipped' ahead just a couple of seconds, and Freddy was instaneously on the ground, face first, stone dead. Alice stood over him trimumphantly.

      I was riding the train with some friends. There was a man wearing a dress on the train, and some other guys were trying to start a fight with him. There provocation succeeded, and a full brawl began. The man in the dress turned out to be deceptively strong. Things were getting out of hand, so I pressed the security button. By the time security arrived, the man in the dress had pretty much wiped the floor with all of them.

      My friends and I made our way to a bar, which turned out to be a strip club. My parents were there, taking in a poll dance. Gross. We proceeded to get rather drunk, and then I decided I wanted to leave. Worried about my safety, my friends decided that one of them needed to accompany me home. One of my oldest friends agreed to walk me. When we arrived at my house, we ended up sleeping together for some reason. It was weird and instantly regrettable. I kept asking myself why I had done this; cheated on my boyfriend, ruined my friendship with this person, and probably ruined a few other friendships too. (I was super relieved to wake up and realize that it had only been a dream).

      Disgusted with myself, I jumped in my truck and drove away. I was trying to drive south, but I kept missing the exits on the highway and kept driving completely the wrong way. I eventually turned off and ended up in some ritzy town-house area. Then I woke up.
    12. Beach House

      I remember two dreams from last night plus the emotional ghost of another one. You know when you know you had a dream and when you try and remember it you think "that was a nice dream, but I have no idea WTF it was about", Its that. The first dream I had I was with a friend of mine and we were going to his beach house with a few other people. His mom was driving for some reason. I was in the front seat and we were taking back roads. We constantly had to stop to avoid running over dogs who were all chasing squirrels. When we got there I asked his mom why she had seemed so mad at me. She said she wasn't mad, my pants were inside out and It was aggravating her. I turned my pants right-side out and she was happy. We went inside and I woke up, I was able to catch the awakening in like 2 seconds but I had already shifted my body position so the DEILD didn't work. When I woke up in the morning I remembered a fragment of another dream in which I was at a wrestling tournament. I was talking to someone and I had a small entourage. I was either consoling the person or giving them advice. My dad thought I was still sleeping when I was writing in my dream journal so he banged on the door really loud for an unnecessary amount of time (akin to a military wake up) and it ran the rest of the dream out of my head.

      I was coming home from some festival thing or something that was a field trip with my school. A classmate of mine, Jacob, was driving the car which looked like it was probably from the 90s or something. We got to his house and he told me to be super quiet because apparently we were sneaking in so his parents wouldn't here for I don't know what reason. The house was a combination of houses that I've been to and no Jacobs. His parents heard us and saw us but they looked like someone else though they acted and sounded like them. I am unable to remember anything after that.
    14. Large truck

      I had dream where I was driving a large truck. It was an older model (probably 1980's) and I was having trouble controlling it. Not like "trouble turning the wheel" control but it wouldn't brake when I braked and sometimes would turn in the complete opposite direction I turned the wheel. This often led me to weaving through oncoming traffic. Not the most fun dream I've ever had. There was also something about rigging the car with a remote control but I don't know how or where that fits in.
    15. Family Vacation

      My family and I are driving on the highway. I'm behind the wheel, and the car is pack with out things and I have a push broom to the left of me. Nothing too unusual is happening, until I attempt to pull of. I decide now would be a good time to pass the push broom to my brother to get it out of my way. As he grabs it, the broom hits the steering wheel and jolts us off the curve. The car flips sideways but everyone is fine. We get out to assess the damage to find that the kayaks have fallen off and into the lake in the center of the curve. We look at each other and decide this to be the first stop on our family vacation.
