#1 - Interrupted [Non-Lucid] This girl A (who I haven't seen since first semester of college) is over at my house during a family party and we're in my room messing around in the dark. And by messing around I mean just playing, but in an overly affectionate way.... I could sense feelings for her and I'm pretty sure she had some for me, too. After a while it was starting to look like it might become a little more than playing, so I got up to lock the door to make sure we had privacy, but then tons of people, including this guy J I used to hang out with, just started waltzing on in and making themselves at home and playing some video game on my TV. >.< We tried to make the most out of it still () but it didn't work out, and A very randomly told me that my room looks like a spaceship. I got up to go into the bathroom to "do my medicine" but when I got in there I was distracted because I was wearing some really bizarre white top and a black jean skirt, and it was definitely something I've never seen before, I'm not even sure it followed the laws of physics.... After that I went to pee, and after I started I woke up. #2 - Shown The Power Of RCs [DILD] I was in a high school class with this girl S with whom I've had an extremely embarrassing moment, which I will not go into, and in the waking world I apologized over and over again, and in this dream I felt like it was finally totally in the past. (Even though in the waking world I barely saw her before and will probably never see her again, so it's really not that big of an issue anyway.) We're waiting for class to end, as it's apparently the last class of the school year. There's a video constantly malfunctioning on the projector and we're all just getting fed up with it, and I think to myself that class ends at 8pm (what a shitty high school!) and that it should already be around 7:40, but I check my phone and it says 7:10. I checked again shortly afterward and it said 4:00. Instant lucid. Holy crap, reality checks work! I got up and told everyone "It's already 11:00, school's over, let's go." (11:00? I still don't trust my lucid mind, it comes up with too many non-lucid things still. Like this....) There were objections but I just repeated "Nope, nope, let's go." and walked out the door. Some random DC girl was walking with me in the hallway and said something to me about how "It sucks for people who had plans.", or something like that, and my response was "Yeah, especially the ones of us who are melting!" Immediately afterward I proceeded to rapidly melt, which I felt completely realistically, all the way down into a puddle, and then the dream ended. Damn you dreaming mind! Side Notes - I had been forgetting to do my mantras lately, and I wondered if that's why my lucids haven't been happening as frequently. After this dream I started doing them again every time I woke up for the rest of the night. #3 - Odd Discovery [Non-Lucid] I got drunk with my old friend D (who doesn't drink) and spent the night at his house, though it was actually some fancy Asian-style house and not even remotely similar to his real one. His mom then woke us up in the middle of the night to smoke weed with her. (D doesn't smoke weed either, nor do I imagine does his mom. ) We smoke a lot of corn (medium quality weed) and chat for a bit and I'm just in awe at this discovery that they smoke weed, and the main effect I'm getting is EXTREME cottonmouth. I take a drink of water, then go back to fiddling around with this lighter that never works, and this two-carb pipe (I can't remember if it actually had two chambers, but it was a really cool swirly, spiked design with a mix of yellow and blue) that kept randomly getting replaced with a tiny plastic bowl. We hear a noise and it turns out to be D's dad, and his mom gets scared so I look at the weed and say "Should we hide it!?" and she tells me to do it, so I grab it and shove it in my jean pockets and get up and follow D out of the room. We hear them getting into a HUGE fight and their voices start fading into the distance as we get further away. D stops in this dark room full of random people and I'm freaked out, and he looks almost catatonically depressed and I really want to help him but I also want to get the hell out of there, and I ask him if it's okay for me to leave because I'm scared (his dad is a pretty big guy). He doesn't respond at first, but then shakes his head yes. I give him a sad look of thanks and then run out the front door and hear his dad say "Oh, you better hurry!" I'm frightened and jump into my car and try to start it but I'm shaking and messing up. But I woke up while I was trying to work it. Dream Fragment - I see my dead grandpa (but he's still alive in the dream), lots of other family members, my dad's close friend J, and a couple random DC kids who are both named Alex. I perceive that I'm in Las Vegas, though this is all actually taking place at my house. All I really remember other than that was J asking me if I'd found him any MDA, to which I responded no because it's hard to come across. False Awakening - I wake up and text O about how sake is even better in Las Vegas. #4 - The Last School Of Magic [Non-Lucid] A lot of this dream is hazy and hard to remember, but I do recall that I was trapped in some place called "The Last School of Magic", or something like that. It's basically this big evil school in the sky that my friends and I can all see from this big open field that seems to have a castle waaaaay off in the distance at the end of a long path, and I end up going through some weird third-person control bouncing shapes and people and traveling through gravity-defying obstacle courses.... It was really bizarre. I just know that is was VERY intense, and at the end I kicked the ass of the evil teacher who had originally invited me to to the school, using some magic I learned along the way. We were outside on the path again by the big field and looked over at the dark stormy clouds in the sky and saw the house where the school was glowing red and vaporizing, and we laughed at it. Despite the fact that I don't remember very much of it, this dream was pretty realistic and vivid. But it probably doesn't help with my memory that I had a.... False Awakening - I got up out of bed thinking to myself what a crazy dream that was, and I found this little book of ancient mysteries or something like that sitting on my desk. I apparently had had it before but never really read it, so I started flipping through it, until I found a story called "The Last School of the Occult". I started looking at it and some of it looked familiar to the areas I had gone through, and I was totally blown away. I started thinking something insane was going on, but then I had another.... False Awakening - I tried writing down everything that had happened and got most of it out. Only to wake up and realize I would have to type it all over again, which is why I forgot so much of it. :T #5 - Caught In The Wind [MILD] I was on vacation with O and we got a bong and some weed and took it to a corn field to play where on the way we became Peanuts characters, I was Lucy and he was Charlie Brown. Some girls starting making fun of me saying "You like corn! You like corn!" and I felt it had a strange connection to Francine from American Dad! for some reason. Wind started blowing me back and up through the air continuously at least 20 feet and it made me realize that I was dreaming, but I wasn't really able to hold on to it. I just kept getting pushed back until I had a.... False Awakening - I wrote most of the dream down (there was more to the beginning that I forgot because of this), but then my dad walked in and asked me if I had used mom's wind, and the second I saw him I thought "Damn it!!" and woke up for real.
I was a busy girl this night! Four MILDs, one almost V-WILD, and one non-lucid, not to mention some shadow creatures at the beginning of the night. Intense! Side Notes - So, as I was falling asleep there was suddenly some very vivid and weird blobby structure textured like blue jeans behind my eyelids, it twitched and morphed very quickly. This was not hypnagogic imagery (at least, not fully), it was a remnant of when I used to meditate while abusing anticholinergic deliriants, it moved in the exact same way. I open my eyes and say "Great, so I'm hallucinating now." There were dark clouds moving across my room and coming up to my face, I could feel an animal presence in each one, but I didn't allow them to form into anything. Across my ceiling moved a cloud that I always recognize as one of my delirium signs. Had I let it grow, it would've turned into a big white alien crab thing. I decided to just close my eyes and try to fall asleep quickly anyway while repeating my lucidity mantra. #1 - Playing With The Weather [MILD] The first few parts of this dream I only remember in flashes. I remember wishing some city was closer to us for some reason, I think I perceived it as some cool party area, then blur... then there's some spaceship ride at a theater or old house or something where we weren't supposed to be, but I got on the ride with a couple other people and it sent me into third-person mode in outer space, controlling some ship (a star destroyer from Star Wars, maybe?) as some commercial about it plays in the background (just the audio) and the ship gets continuously divided into smaller copies of itself by other ships around it. I think this phase is what caused me to become lucid... suddenly I was back in first-person and standing in front of my house. A big red bus was driving down the street and I tried to pull it toward me with telekinesis but it didn't work, probably too big of a task for a beginner. (I don't think I've used telekinesis since my second lucid ever.) So instead I lept up and blasted off into the sky at supersonic speeds, the wind felt so amazing rushing past my face. I even got to feel myself pass through clouds, which was awesome! I watched the ground streak by until I stopped over some really big field in a country area with one or two small farms. I was really high up, above the clouds, and I saw a tornado tearing through the countryside. (Though, aside from a couple storm clouds, it was bright and sunny outside. ) I gave my telekinesis another shot and managed to change its path by holding my hand out and pushing it in a different direction. Next I turned my attention to a storm cloud next to me and tried to make lightning strike the ground from it, but it wasn't really working too well, it was more like a mild flash that was just a glitch in my perception. I guess that one might take some waking life visualization first to do well. After that I transitioned into third-person again and lost lucidity, there was some kid breaking into a bank and some nasty old man with a shotgun (I think...) and his dog comes in and threatens him to leave and return what he stole or he's going to call this other old man and make him his pet. I woke up after that. There was a lot of dream leading up to the blurry part too, I remember experiencing it, just not what it was.... Though I do remember it involved Erii. #2 - Outmatched [MILD] I was back in middle school but in a class with a guy I didn't meet until high school, and the environment was somewhat fused with my community college. I have two electric guitars made of rubber, and they really work but they also aren't stable and bend and flop around a lot. Apparently one of them is broken and the other is a replica of the broken one, and my teacher gets mad at me for having them so I ask if I can take them to a different classroom. She says sure, so I get up and start walking through the halls and swing them like crazy on my way, they bend so much that they made that *wop-wop-wop* spinning blade sound but with a cool little electric guitar noise. While walking through the hall I become lucid, and somehow I went from the second floor to the first floor. I look up a massive staircase and see someone who I don't remember, but I flew up to him and asked him where Mason was. (This guy I had a class with in high school, I don't know why I thought of him but I was basically just trying to keep a dream plot going.) He didn't know so I flew off to the cafeteria (first floor) and there were several rows of tables with computers set up there for some reason. I just had fun walking through the rows and seeing tons of old people I went to middle school with, including D and C, working on some projects. I walked to one of the stairwells and sat down next to it and pulled out my phone to start texting (I think I almost lost lucidity here), and O walked by me and said that I'd better be careful because he had just gotten in trouble for doing that, and I was like oh snap, I'm supposed to be in class! I walk up the stairs next to these two random DC girls and tell them about the guitars and they laugh, and I'm like "I know, fuckin' dreams." Upstairs we walk to a section where there's a large gap in between two sections of the floor that you can see the first floor through, with a bridge off to the right of where I am. Directly across from me is a room with a bunch of people standing out front, so I jump across the gap myself and walk into the room. It's small and nearly empty, with another even smaller room (like closet-sized) connected to the side of it. There's a random girl standing next to the window looking out of it, and she looks over at me. Suddenly she runs over to me at LIGHTNING speed, like leaving a blurry trail behind her and everything, and stands right in front of me with this serious face. I freak out and try to kick her away, but with her super speed she just jumps to right behind my foot. She just stares at me and then reaches out to grab my leg. O_O And I'm basically terrified at this point, but then I wake up. I need to master that level of super speed as a power!! #3 - Walking On Water [MILD] O and I are leaving our middle school to go to In-N-Out for lunch but we accidentally use an exit door that has an alarm on it. I figured this out after we used it but O didn't, so I just wanted to get out of there so I don't get in trouble. We almost left, but O started seeing everyones' reactions to the alarm going off and starts having a panic attack, so I put aside my worries to keep him calm. It jumps forward to me right up next to some window blinds, like literally they're all I see, with individual ones having information printed on them about how I have to sit in this timeout class all day for being in trouble, and it specifically stated that one of the school admins was ninja9578. Eventually I back away from the blinds and see that this class is in a tiny building in front of the school, in the parking lot. This one guy in somewhat fancy black clothes is there and asks me what I'm there for after talking to the teacher about something, but I became lucid around this point. I just tell him I'm getting out of there, and I fly up and phase through the wall and into the sky. I look back and see him smiling and looking encouragingly at me, and he says "This is a dream!" or something like that, and I just smile at him and fly off. I start off down the road toward my house, but then I decided to ground myself and hoof it this time to make sure I didn't get too much of an adrenaline rush. I run down the path, and normally there's a bridge and on the left side of it you see my old elementary school, but instead this time right at the edge of the bridge was a beach with a long stretch of water going out from it. :O I decided that walking on water would be a cool thing to do, so I just ran out on to it. There are waves forming and breaking beneath me and it feels so cool, I try to jump over the waves as they come just for the fun of it. That went on for a short amount of time, then the dream ended. False Awakening - I had a false awakening here where I intended to start writing that dream down, but it wasn't really significant. Luckily it didn't mess with my memory of it, but it did make me think I had woken up between the alarm part and the getting in trouble briefly when I actually hadn't. #4 - Sleepwalking Scare [MILD] I was briefly lucid, I can't remember much other than that the plot of the dream seemed really unstable and ill-formed, like the DCs were actually invisible. They were definitely there in a third eye kind of way, but they vanished easily, and I was afraid that I was actually lucid sleepwalking or something because I was standing naked in my bathroom, and if I closed my eyes and walked around I felt myself moving and all, but when I would open them I'd still be in the same spot. However, when I actually woke up I was still in bed. Side Notes - After this I wasn't really intending to fall back asleep, but I didn't feel like getting up either. I stayed in bed and started thinking about giving myself a breast massage, but I was so lazy that I didn't even actually feel like lifting my arms to do it, so I started visualizing it instead. To my surprise, the visualization was incredibly strong, and I felt like it was actually happening. A scene started forming around me too, I was walking Target and looking at DVDs while doing this. It definitely felt like it was about to completely take over and suck me into a V-WILD several times, but it was never able to fully do it. Maybe if I'd done this method before I would've known how to push it all the way, but as it is I just don't think I was tired enough to fall into it. After I gave up with that it took me another fifteen or twenty minutes to fall asleep again. #5 - Chao Raising [Non-Lucid] I was raising chao (from Sonic Adventure) with K, and then my memory gets blurry.... I wrote down "find a way back to the beginning of an obstacle course which takes me back to the beginning of it all and causes me to hatch from one of his eggs?" I remember before this he was at my house writing a trip report for some cannabinoid smoking blend we had both tried, and then he was leaving but I said I wanted to go with him and he said I needed to hurry, so I went to change clothes and somehow it launched into that. Afterwards he asked me what I was going to do with the new chao and I told him I might go for one beauty-based (?) because until then I'd been looking at Erii as the figure of beauty. (??) Then I woke up lol.
My recall's starting to get pretty poor, I think I need to start reading up on some ways to increase it, and also some lucid stabilization guides. I had two lucids, but it seems like every time I have one that lasts more than a few seconds it's spent fighting the dream to keep it alive, and often failing, and I don't get to focus on anything like finding Linkzelda41 or exploring powers. :T Hmm.... (Though, I guess I did get to briefly attempt one thing that would be useful for that this time, but it didn't really work.) Fragment - "K, tripping, freak out fan on/off, zombies, his phone too warm." Fragment - "Giant valley filled with water, pink Star Fox fighter battle, on DS. Water level dropped at end." #1 - Fight To Survive [MILD] I'm in high school with O and D, a history class I think, and our teacher is giving us a lesson along with some humongous white snake with no eyes that still somehow stares into your soul. Some guy in class was browsing the internet (on his laptop I guess, kind of hard to remember) instead of paying attention, so the snake caused him to become a cartoon and switch bodies with a female anthropomorphic bunny. o_o After class we're getting ready to leave as if class was totally normal, and I became lucid after talking to them about the snake. O walks through a door with some girl on the way out (like literally, they phased right through it) and I follow him (phasing through the door as well, the first lucid power I actually had to work to get good at, and can now do flawlessly ) to try to get him to come back but he still walks off. I decide to open the door to change where it leads to, and it kind of works but not really, it just leads me to a different school hallway. The dream starts to fade so I start rubbing my hands together and feeling the walls and looking all over the place for new input but it's not really working, so I jump forward and start licking the wall as well, three senses stimulated! It doesn't taste as bad as I would have imagined, just sort of neutral. I start walking down the wall (never removing my hands or tongue from it) trying to find something to do, and the dream clearly doesn't want to last. My limbs are slowly failing as if I'd been fatally poisoned or something. Finally I see one of those little bins they had at stores with different ice cream cones and bars in them, and I run over there and just grab a regular vanilla ice cream cone. I started eating it and it actually tasted pretty good, but then I woke up. I guess it wasn't a total waste. #2 - False False Awakening? [MILD] I was talking to K about some politics related to lucid dreaming (mostly gibberish I think, but something about how some politician was claiming that lucid dreaming was equivalent to passing through the gates of hell ), and then I get a... well, it's odd because I can't remember far enough back in the dream to know if this was actually true or not, and I want to say it's not, but suddenly I had a feeling of clarity and said "Oh, this is a false awakening." and that made me lucid. I just looked at K and said "You're not even going to remember this conversation." And he smiled at me, then I woke up. On to the couch in my den, which seemed perfectly normal. I thought the conversation we were having was funny so I wrote it down to tell K about it later, but once I finished I actually woke up in bed, and I don't really remember much about the conversation now.
Two more lucids! The first one was fun, the second one was really interesting but short. Since I've started telling myself to look for Linkzelda41 when going to bed I've also been adding in things like "I will remember my dreams." and "I will become lucid.", so I guess that means I'm not allowed to list them as DILDs anymore. Time to start working up my MILD counter. #1 - Experimental Drugs [Non-Lucid] This one was short, but interesting. My parents were going out to a party so I'd have the house to myself for the night, and my dad decided to synthesize some brand new psychedelics for me to try while they were gone. :O He managed to sneak me three different drugs, which were named "Kaomea", "Kaomea's lucid", and "carousel". My mom almost caught him doing it though and seemed suspicious for the rest of the dream, during which I was pretty much just waiting for them to leave. I remember that at least one of the drugs looked like a big rock covered in gemstones.... How am I supposed to take that? #2 - Lucid Nature Walk [MILD] I was at a store looking at Yu-Gi-Oh! cards with D and we meet up with some kid, and I don't remember why but they end up going outside to do a duel to the death (with guns, not a Yu-Gi-Oh! duel lol). The store is also a restaurant run by my old European history AP teacher, so I go over and pay her for the food (which I don't think we had any of...) and also a card I wanted to buy because it had a 5 at the end of one of its stats. :3 (I can't remember if it was ATK or DEF, but no monsters have stats like that.) I went out into the parking lot to watch their duel, and as they were talking I became lucid and the kid became this guy J who I haven't seen since around middle school. I take the card out of my pocket knowing it'll have changed to see what it is now, and it has a 2 at the end of its ATK stat and a 3 at the end of its DEF stat, and it's now an orange. The image on the card is literally just the inside of an orange, and the border of the card looked like the outside of an orange. I laugh and throw it down, and then tell D and J that I wish there were more DCs to talk to. There's a small forest on the edge of the parking lot, so I tell them we're going to go walk through a trail I see. I start yelling commands to become more lucid and have the dream be more vivid, but they kept coming out wrong and confusing me, like one I yelled was "I'm aware that I'm dreaming, but I do not have control." Though, after I said that one it kind of felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I sat down on the dirt and squeezed it to feel it run through my fingers, it felt awesome. And then I had a great idea! I stripped naked and laid down in the dirt. I knew it was going to be terrible to do this, but I closed my eyes too. It was fun and felt so comfortable. When I opened my eyes I was in a false awakening (and still didn't do a RC! ) where I was still naked and walked into a room where N was sleeping and K was inviting him to go get frozen yogurt with him and S. I told them I'd be coming too as soon as I got dressed, and N started telling me about a dream he was having, then I woke up. #3 - The Monkey Loop [MILD] After school, D and I are in a cul-de-sac when my car breaks down and we don't have a spare tire. There are some kids goofing around there that don't like us at first but we bond in a weird way (though I don't remember exactly how) and we find a spare tire by the road, but it turns out to be a bike tire. I try calling my dad to come pick us up but my phone never works correctly or he doesn't answer his, and we eventually decide to call the cops as backup to get us home. In the meantime, we see a big house and D accidentally breaks through the front door somehow. That part is hazy. We go inside and I say oh snap, this is S's house! (Even if it was, which it wasn't, the following reaction doesn't make much sense.) We all ran out of the house trying to get away before the cops we called show up, and at some point a gigantic monkey had arrived for one of us to ride, and now a lion was arriving for the other. I grabbed the monkey's reins and jumped on his back and D jumped on the lion, and we said goodbye to the kids and rode off. Suddenly I was riding the monkey through my parents' bedroom, and I became lucid. We went straight from one end of the room to the other and walked through the mirror behind my parents' bed. As soon as we did it looped back to the other end of the room and we got stuck in this infinitely looping cycle. It was really intense at the time, and I started noticing that depending on how I focused my eyes, despite the fact that the mirror was not really in my line of sight, things would repeat infinitely. First I had my eyes focused near me and the monkey's skin and fur was growing closer and closer to me and I was afraid that the dream was going to end, so I focused my eyes away and saw my reflection below, I watched my face multiplying and getting further and further away. That caused the dream to end into a false awakening where D and I realized we had fallen asleep in study hall and school wasn't even over yet. That was quite a ride!

Yesterday, as I was quite energetic because of a WILD in the morning, I decided to try a MILD, which actually worked. I managed to finish another ToTY task, and I'll be flapping my wings in 1 week, that's a bet with one of my friends... So, getting back to my dream. After repeating the mantra for 15min, I managed to pull an insta-lucid, without having to RC. After a bit of looking around a room I "spawned" in, I looked at a wall, then said "This hotel room from WTC is really nice". I think most of you got what happened... passive control. After this, I got out of the room, and headed to the elevator... in which I had a surprise. It seems that in dreams elevators don't work like they should, resulting in a lucid dreamer being put on a random floor... I got a little bit revengeful, and, after throwing a fireball at the elevator and exploding it off the building, I just tried a little trick I heard about in DV... ...And learned that it's easy to turn into a human fireball and going straight through the building until the roof. I walked slowly on the building, and as I was about to jump, someone stopped me. "No! Don't end your life!"... ...I also learned I can rip the head of a DC using telekinesis. Sweet. I finally jumped, going right through the clouds... I could literally feel the rain drop on my skin. When I was close to the ground, I turned into a fireball, and landed... safely. After stabilizing the dream, I began to form an big fireball, which I shot at the towers... it almost destroyed them completely, but the remaining parts were used to crush other buildings, with telekinesis.. After a while some marines(may be a DS) appeared and start shooting. This reminded me of the dino dream, and one little tought was enough for 6 tentacles to spring out of my body. I could control them, but I could also let them act for themselves, and that's what I did. After some good ol' fun I decided to leave, so I could remember my dream... and thats what I did. After about 30 min, I decided to try my luck at a morning MILD, which I will detail in my next post, which will come in about 1 hour. Stay tuned!

Awake, Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake] I'm walking around on the ground floor of a large, three-story shopping mall. The interior is a very bright, airy space, with white walls and a glass ceiling through which the sun shines. While I'm walking along, the realization suddenly hits me: This is a dream! I'm so shocked that the scene around me immediately starts to become less clear, filling up with gray pixels that multiply quickly [they look a lot like static on an analog TV], just like it always does when my dreams start to destabilize. Oh, dammit! I think. I immediately drop to my hands and knees on the tile floor, focusing on touching the floor and on staying focused on the scene around me, and thinking reassuring thoughts to myself: It's okay. It's okay. In 30 seconds or so, the scene is clear and stable again. I get up and start walking again, exploring the place I'm in. As I look around me, I look up at the ceiling, three stories above me, to see winter greenery with ornaments on it and big, shiny bells in red, gold, and green lined up in a recessed space just below the edge of the ceiling. “They haven't even taken down all their Christmas decorations yet,” I remark. I find that I've come upon the entrance to a vacant department store, currently being used as a storage space for the Christmas decorations that have been taken down. Among other things, there is a large, haphazard pile of blue and white styrofoam wreaths. There's no gate or other barrier to entry across the entrance to the store, so I spontaneously decide to jump into the pile of wreaths as if they were dry leaves. It's fun! Some of them break, and I just say, “It's my dream world, and I'll destroy the wreaths if I want to.” When I get up, I wonder what's on the floor above me, and I decide to explore it. I look to the side and see that there's a side entrance to the department store, and there's a flight of stairs outside that entrance, which I can see through the window. I could take them, but it would be quicker, easier, and cooler to just levitate myself through the ceiling above me, so I decide to do that. I close my eyes and, with an act of will, start rising upward. [Note: I don't really remember where in the sequence the following two paragraphs went, but I'm sure I was lucid, so I put them here.] Now I'm in a big, industrial-looking building complex with multiple floors, walkways, and sets of stairs running through the vast interior space. It's dark inside; all the walls and floors are black or dark gray, and there aren't very many lights. This area is [somehow] part of the Star Wars galaxy. As I wander around here, I can hear a dialogue between a post-redemption Darth Vader [he's still speaking in the James Earl Jones voice, though] and some other random character. The other character addresses Vader as “Rash,” apparently using it as a first name. Vader, offended by this, replies: “Rash?! I may have acted rashly, but my name is Anakin.” I smile. [Somewhere in here,] I meet and interact with another young woman about my age. She leads me on a walk through the area, talking to me. Our walk ends at a spot overlooking a view of a natural, green valley. Then, she says something like, “Instead of waiting around for them to break your heart, like I did, go out and grab hold of what you want.” I wonder if this is my best self giving me advice. When I open my eyes again after a scene transition [which I'm pretty sure I remember being the levitation one mentioned above, but again, I don't remember in what order the above two scenes happened], I'm standing on the second floor of a building, overlooking a very beautiful view. There is a clear, sparkling swimming pool in front of me, but it's big enough to be a small lake and wraps around three sides of a tall, stucco community clubhouse building with a red tile roof. The pool is in a park, surrounded by green grass and trees. Off to the left is a street, on the other side of which are houses that match the style of the clubhouse. The scene is so beautiful that I exclaim, “Man, I wish I could take pictures!” ...So I could post them on DreamViews to show everyone! is the thought behind that remark. I decide to go swimming. The tower I'm in has exterior stairs on the side facing the pool. I start going down the stairs. As I do, I pass a window and look at my reflection in it. I'm pleased to see that I'm already wearing a swimsuit, a fact which I attribute to my decision to go swimming. My face looks completely normal. I try smiling, but my reflection stays the same for a moment, then returns a crooked smile, using only one side of its mouth. 'Cause it's a dream mirror, not a real one, I think. It doesn't work like a real one would. I walk to the side of the pool and jump right into the deep water [something I don't usually do in real life, because I suck at swimming]. It feels wet. I swim around on the surface of the water much more easily than in real life, enjoying the experience. Several times, I lower my head so that my nose is under the water and enjoy the fact that I can still breathe normally. I want to swim completely underwater and open my eyes, but I don't, because I have the very realistic sensation of having water in my right eye, forcing me to keep it closed. Other people are swimming in the pool. We hang out and talk a little. After a while, I get out and keep exploring the park I'm in. In another area of the park, there are a series of big pieces of plastic playground equipment, white with pastel accents, with a miniature golf course built around and through them. I start climbing the largest one, using the metal handles and small platforms built into the structure to climb. This climbing route goes up toward the main body of the play structure in an arc, and each foothold is only supported by a single column or bar, so it looks like there's mostly open space below you, and you can see exactly how far you are off the ground. I'm not afraid at all, though, because I know it's a dream and I can't get hurt. Just as I reach the main body of the play structure, the memory of the current Task of the Month suddenly hits me: set off fireworks in a crowded place and record how the people there reacted. I recall how other DV members have done it. I slide down the slide that's in front of me, determined to complete the task. Not far from the play equipment, some people are beginning to gather at some tables for a picnic. I start trying to obtain a firecracker [because that's what several other DV members used]. I reach behind my back and try to make one appear there, but it doesn't work. I try looking around corners in the scene and expecting one to be there, but that doesn't work either. I really suck at summoning things, I think. Then I think of another approach: find an existing object and transform it. On the ground, under a tree a few yards from the picnic area, I find the pointy half of a broken-in-half yellow pencil. I pick it up and sandwich it between my two cupped hands, focusing my will on it and willing it to turn into a firecracker. When I open my hands, it has swollen up and gotten round and puffy in the middle. All the picnic tables are now full of people, and I see that some of them have their marching band instruments with them, which makes me realize that they're a marching band. I see at least one trombone in the group. I stand a couple of yards back from one of the tables and throw my pencil at the group of people. It hits the center of the table and explodes with a loud crack. No one takes any particular notice [at least, not that I can recall]. When I retrieve the pencil, the lead has shot out of the tip and gone limp, like a piece of spaghetti. I decide to continue in my search for a firecracker. I end up walking through the halls of a dusty building that resembles my section of the university library where I used to work. I continue trying to summon a firecracker or firework by expecting one to be there when I look around a corner or into a room, but it still doesn't work. In one storage room full of random stuff, I hear a hissing sound that I think is the sound of a firework fuse burning at first, but then I realize it's the sound of the small air blower on a strange, old machine that is running in the middle of the floor. I continue searching this room for a firework, but I woke up in the middle of my search.
Awake, Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake] [This is a catch-up post. These dreams are from the nights of December 24-27, 2011. Adult content warning for the one from December 25-26.] Night of December 24-25 I'm at church, with my choir, accompanying our performance of “What Child is This?” on my clarinet. My clarinet keeps misfiring; some of the notes here and there refuse to play. I'm embarrassed. [This was definitely an anxiety dream. Exactly that actually happened during our choir rehearsal on Thursday, December 22, and I was afraid it was going to happen during the performance, which was the morning after I had this dream, on Christmas Day. Thankfully, it didn't happen; my clarinet worked fine.] Night of December 25-26 I'm at this place that's kind of like a spa. It's a place for people to rest, relax, and renew. I'm in an outdoor area of this place, and it's a beautiful, warm, sunny day. I'm lying around on the ground, wearing only panties, along with several other women who are doing exactly the same. Other people are walking around the grounds, and the thought crosses my mind: Maybe I should go and put on some slightly more modest panties. All of a sudden, I'm being molested by a group of two or three men. I manage to fight them off and struggle out of their grasp. All the while, I'm shouting at them, forcefully telling them to stop, and that I don't like or appreciate what they're doing. I end my tirade by telling another man, who's just sitting on the ground watching the proceedings, that he's a despicable jerk, too [or something to that effect; I don't remember my exact words here]. I tell him this because I know that he's being paid to be there as a witness to the scene that just unfolded. I also know that the molesters were also hired to do what they did. The men who hired them are also in the scene, standing around, watching it all happen. I know exactly what they're doing: They're lawyers, and they have a racket going on where they hire people to rape beautiful girls in establishments like the one I'm at, and then get the girls to sue those establishments for a lot of money, of which they get a percentage because they act as the girls' representation. Night of December 26-27 I'm at work, but I'm participating in a dramatization of the work we do at my workplace for TV. The part of my boss [who I've mentioned in this DJ before] is being played by Tim Allen. I reflect that this was a strange casting choice, since he doesn't look at all like my boss, nor does he act much like him. I'm watching a movie about a big, tall castle, a white one that looks like it came straight out of a fairy tale. I'm immersed in the movie, and I'm flying in circles around the top of the castle's high, central tower. There is a song playing on the movie soundtrack that I find kind of annoying, so I want to change the channel on the movie. Awww, man, the remote's all the way down there, I think to myself when I look down at the ground and see the TV remote control lying there. Then I think, Maybe I can get it by telekinesis. Wait a second. If I'm thinking about getting the remote by telekinesis, and flying around, I must be dreaming. I stretch out my hand toward the remote control and concentrate on it, trying to use the force of my will to pull it into my hand. It doesn't work. Then, my mind calls up the primary example in my schema for what pulling an object into your hand with your mind looks like: the wampa cave scene from The Empire Strikes Back [starting at 2:20]. I think, It's kind of like the object is attached to a bungee cord that snaps it back into your hand. I try again, keeping that analogy in mind and focusing on it. This time, it works. The remote control flies up into my hand, just as if it were attached to a bungee cord. At this point, I abruptly realize that during the time I've been concentrating on drawing the remote control into my hand, I haven't been concentrating on flying, so I've been gradually descending without noticing it. I'm now only a yard or two above the ground. I quickly correct for this and start climbing again. As I do so, I think, “And hurry! We're losing altitude fast!” And yes, “altitude” is the correct term in this instance, because this is a planet I'm flying over, not a moon. Even if it is just a dream planet. [This is a reference to the original version of the “Star Tours” ride from the Disney theme parks.] The remote control has transformed into a deodorant stick, which I use on myself. [? I don't even know.] I woke up very pleased with myself, knowing that I could finally cross “Move an object with my mind” off my master list of lucid goals!

Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake] [Last night, I had a long, vivid, elaborate lucid dream that felt like it lasted between 10 and 20 minutes. This journal entry only reflects the most significant and memorable moments of that dream, which are all I remember now. There were other stretches of experience connecting the moments below that aren’t written down in detail, because I don’t remember them that well. They mostly consisted of me flying around and observing the scenery.] I’m at my university, at some sort of outdoor expo, standing in a booth made up of some folding tables and an EZ-UP shade structure. It’s a sunny day. I’m supposed to be there to represent one of the organizations I’m in, and I’m supposed to be wearing that organization’s T-shirt, but I can’t find it. The only T-shirt I can find in our booth is one I got from [a client company that my company has done work for in real life]. The logo on the front of the T-shirt I have is the same shape as the logo of the organization I’m representing (an oval), and the overall T-shirt design is very similar, but the letters in the oval are different, and the T-shirt I actually have says “[the client company's name]” across the back. I change into this T-shirt anyway. I do it while standing behind the open back of some hatchback vehicle, hoping that nobody will see me, because [for some inexplicable reason], I’m not wearing a bra. When I find myself looking at a very vivid, colorful cityscape from the viewpoint of flying over it, it only takes me a moment to realize that I’m dreaming. I slow myself down, controlling the speed of my flight, just observing the landscape around me. I’m standing on the ground in that city. I look across the street and see the gates of ‘the Asian Disneyland.’ There are solid-colored, blue and pink, cartoony humanoid figures walking around on the other side of the metal gates. [They look just like the figures in this cartoon (WARNING: Ads on that page are likely NSFW).] I think, Heck yes, then fly over and enter the “Asian Disneyland.” When I get inside, I am on the second story of what looks like an indoor mall, looking down onto the floor of the first story. When I see what’s down there, I realize, Of course, that’s what would be in the Asian Disneyland: casino table games. The entire first floor is full of them. I have absolutely no interest in this at all [true in real life, too], so I turn right around and go back out the entrance to the mall. [I am very, very sorry for the stereotype evident in the content of this dream.] Once outside again, I go, “Oh, yeah!” when I recall the current Task of the Month: fly up into the sky and find out where all the snow comes from. I start flying up into the sky. There is a puffy cloud there, and I fly toward it, aiming to get on top of it. As I approach it, it turns from white to dark gray. Lightning flashes across it, and it reaches out to threaten me with a pseudopod made of dark-gray cloud. I think, Uh-oh. This dream is going to turn into a nightmare if I don’t take control of it. Just by thinking about it, I make the pseudopod stop threatening me and retreat back into the cloud, the lightning stop, and the cloud turn white again. The threat nullified, I continue flying toward the cloud. It turns dark gray again only a moment later, but I realize that that’s because I know that precipitation only falls from heavy, dark-gray clouds. [When I first read the Task of the Month for this month, my first reaction was, “I’m probably not going to find anything but clouds up there; I’m a little too rational-minded for that.” This dream experience proves that I was right.] [Sure enough,] When I get on top of the cloud, there is nothing there – just cloud. I sit down cross-legged on top of the cloud and decide to fly around on it, using it as a mode of transportation, just like Goku does in “Dragonball Z.” While flying on the cloud, I find myself flying down a corridor that turns lots of corners at crazy angles, lined with doors on either side. [I don’t know what it was, but] Something about this situation makes me go, “Of course,” and then start singing: “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine,” etc. I continue singing as I fly through the corridor. As I fly around some more, I think excitedly and proudly about how I’ll get to have my username in orange on DreamViews tomorrow or the next day. [Although now I don’t think I really deserve it, since I fulfilled the letter of the challenge but not its spirit. I really didn’t find out anything; all I found when I flew into the sky was the source of snow that I already expected to be to be there, namely, a cloud. I am so boring!] I need to get out of a building very quickly. [It may or may not have been the mall-like building mentioned earlier. I think it was a different one, though.] The building has a glass wall right next to the entrance. I decide to go out through the glass wall. I run toward it. A second before I reach it, I focus my mind on activating my intangibility, an ability I have used in several dreams before. It works perfectly; I run right through the glass wall without breaking it, just like a ghost. I’m in a circular meeting room with several levels of steps leading down to a central circle of floor. There are no chairs. There are a lot of people standing around in the room. I know that they’re all just DCs. They have gathered here to conduct a sort of tribunal to determine whether or not I am a goddess. Some of them have found out about the superhuman abilities I exhibit when I’m in the dream world, and have concluded that I am one, but others disagree. I think, I’m not a goddess. I’m just a human who knows how to lucid dream. I don’t say anything during the meeting, though. [I don’t know why not.] -------------------------- Side notes: Wow. I really feel like I took a step forward in my dream control skills last night.
All my lucid dreams were product of MILD technique. I´ve decide to try the WILD technique, and reached the conclusion that it´s fundamental to any lucid dreamer development and progression to find the right technique, or else the dreamer will get frustrated with his own project, and quit. This is a conclusion that i think you all took it some time ago. Being able to know yourself is fundamental in the process of lucid dreaming... It´s impressive the amount of dreamers that don´t take the time to know themselves, and just grab a technique that they think its the right one for them... A lucid dream is a door to a realm, to your inner realm...and the path to your inner realm should not be be built upon fragile structures, and such structures can only result from lack of self knowledge and a sense of hurry in reaching a lucid state.... I was once like that...always in a hurry to have the next lucid dream. Right now i´m going through a dry spell stage... I need to get of that dryspell stage, but i´m not worried, because it can only go away with ease of spirit and a calm mind...the opposite is only going to make the dry spell last.... ´ I felt the need to share this with you all, because dry spell stages are something that in my opinion is not discussed often in here. Anyway all this was just a thought. Walk the path, open the door and lose yourself in your own eternity. Red King
My recall is so horrible for this dream...I don't know what happened when I became aware, or what was going on before it. I do remember flying a lot. I think I was showing off. Crap now that I think about it....I think I had another FA between this one and the one I wrote down. During this dream I tried for a scene change by flying through the earth, and failed horribly. I was stuck in darkness for awhile....I know I did some other stuff though....I want to say I remember a shopping center or something......yeah....and a kid. I was flying around this shopping center backwards, forwards, and all kinds of crap. There was this one kid who wanted his parents to buy the crappiest cereal in the store, and I told him to stick to the healthy stuff so he could fly around and be cool like me. THEN after that I had a FA. I was in my bed, writing the number of LDs I had. I wrote 3 down, and it turned into 4. I was watching the numbers change, and then I realized that I don't even write crap about my dreams unless I'm at the computer. Dream ended and it went to the next one.

The following takes place during the span of several dreams due to the fact that I was in non REM. I remember being under my oak tree outdoors, and I couldn't walk. It took me all my power to stand up. It was almost as if both of my knees would keep giving out on me. I'm in my house, and N starts giving me a haircut. He says my clippers are messed up, so he's just going to stop right then and there. Obviously I'm like "wtf!?" because I have class tomorrow. Something else was talked about...I think he wanted me to fix or build a computer. I'm in my room, and my brother walks in and he's trying to talk to me about something, but I'm on the game, and it's probably something critical. I'm at a dinner with my daughter, and some annoying guy holds his kid up next to me. I tell him that I don't smell anything because I have a dad nose. My daughter gets the kid and tries to change his diaper. She has most of it done, but she didn't put the straps on correctly (it was really complicated in the dream like a series of folds and crap). I'm talking to my sister-n-law about my problems walking. We're in a white room, but the sun is making it a little yellowish. I try to show her how it's so hard to walk. My knees knees almost hurt while standing. They give way and fall. I tell her "this is feeling almost like those dreams I was having earlier." That's when I spontaneously realize that I'm dreaming, and fly around a bit. The problem of walking still remained though. Eventually I woke up.
I don't remember where the previous dream ended, and this one started, but it was pretty disturbing. The parts that are worth talking about is playing contra, but we did something to the nintendo that made the graphics arcade quality. I also said something about dreaming, but I'm not sure if I was totally aware. I don't remember what happens between that and the next part but.... I'm lucid, and I don't remember RCing or anything so it's safe to assume it was a MILD. I remember walking down this long hall, and getting into an argument with these women. It almost seemed like I was at a nurses station in a hospital because of the floors. I remember flying off upright like magneto, and entering another area that was full of people. The flight felt so weird this time it felt like something else was holding me in the air, instead of that "my own power" type feeling. So I'm in this room, and I started playing around with the objects in there, making them float, and fly. I remember picking up this shoe and throwing it, and I stopped it just before it hit the ground, and made it return in my hands. Then some random DC walks by and grabs me by the balls! He was saying something to the other DCs about how I wasn't so powerful after all, and he walked off. After that I lost all focus and I couldn't do anything. I went to a table that had a chess board to work on my skills. I moved individual pieces around one by one until I was able to get them off the ground. Then I flattened all the pieces, and turned them into a pile of quarters. I stepped back some, and lifted all the quarters about a foot off the table, and put them back on it. Then I tried lift the table, and was successful on the second attempt. From what i was learning, it seemed like I was "focusing in too hard" for what I was trying to accomplish, and that's why it wasn't happening. After that, some DC came up to me, and decided it was plan B time, but it got weird. We found a quiet spot, and by the time we started going at it, she sort of turned fried chicken bones. WTF.
Awake, Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake] I'm in my family's house [it doesn't look anything like any of our real houses]. P. has a terrible secret that she can't stand to tell our parents, so she's making me tell them for her. She actually cries when she tries to talk about it, because she feels so bad about it. Information about the secret is hidden on the computer in a file called “Sisters.nxt,” which is the type of file that contains programming instructions for the toy robots we use at my teaching job. Our parents come in, and I gather my courage and tell Mom the terrible secret. Everyone is upset, including me. When I woke up, I was quite stunned that it had just been a dream. It had been incredibly vivid and realistic. I actually made mental notes to call my sister and ask her if she was okay, and to to check my real computer later for a file named “Sisters.nxt.” [There was none, of course.] I'm in my car [my new-to-me one], on my driveway. It rolls backward down the driveway, even though the parking brake is set. [Anxiety. I am afraid of this happening.] As I turn around to look behind me, I see JM backing a big truck up to our driveway. I smile and wave at him. I'm back in the same house from earlier, with my parents. My mom's hair has suddenly turned gray, and is short and fluffy. It has two parts that come to a point on the top of her head, which she is feeling with her fingertips to find out how they go. My dad's hair is also turning gray. I realize that I'm back in the unfamiliar house that appeared in my previous dream, and therefore, that I'm dreaming. I turn away from my parents and walk around the house, observing. The rooms are spacious and empty in the middle. Thoughts about how all this is a dream and not real just won't leave me alone, even though I try to ignore them, for fear that thinking about it too much will cause the dream to fade and me to wake up. I remember that I should try to stabilize and ground myself in the dream by engaging more of my senses, so I go looking for something to eat. One of the rooms of the house is a kitchen. I open the refrigerator and get out one of those little plastic, single-serving cups of applesauce. I open it up and eat it directly out of the cup, by sticking my tongue into it. It tastes just like applesauce, but the flavor isn't as strong as it would be in reality. I also find that my lips are all tingly and semi-numb, as if I'd had a Novacaine shot that was wearing off. I think, That's happening because these sensations of eating aren't real. [Dreamskip.] I'm outside, and I remember that I wanted to fly in this dream. I try to take off twice, and both times, I succeed only in jumping about six or eight feet and then falling back down to the ground. The first time, I end up on my butt. After the second time, I think, Wait, don't I usually do this just by thinking about flying? So I do, and it works. I fly around the beautiful scenery of a bunch of ocean harbors and inlets with towns on them. At one point, I fly through some power lines [?] intangibly. [I don't feel any sensation associated with it, though.] As I fly, I go, “Wheeee!” I'm outside a big church building at night, still flying around. I'm inside a shop full of shoes and other fashion items. It is owned by Yusuf, who is minding it. I fly through the shop and out the front entrance, into a street. I'm now outside that same big church building during daylight. I say to myself, “It's daytime now because my real body says so.” I say this because I know it must be light outside by now, and I'm sure my body clock knows that. I decide to just walk across the grass to get to the entrance of the church, but then I use a small burst of my flight powers to get up all six steps in one leap. There is some big event going on on an outdoor lawn, with tents or shade covers set up. [I don't really remember this part very well.] -------------------------------------------- Side notes: Last night was the one-year anniversary of the night I had my first substantial lucid dream. That fact made me really motivated to have another cool lucid dream, and I succeeded in having one. I was really pleased and proud of myself that I had. I wasn't quite as euphoric about it as I was that first night, but I was pretty happy. I'm really happy with what I've experienced in my dream life this year, but, of course, there's much more I want to do and learn. Here's to many more years of lucid dreams!
First dream: I'm in an enclosure of wooden buildings, they feel like restaurants but no one is eating. Everyone around me is wearing wristbands. The song "Mary Jane's Last Dance" is playing in the background. The part of the song that goes "Oh, my my, oh, hell yes/Honey, put on that party dress" loops a couple times. I woke up, which was good since I was trying to MILD, and wrote down my dream. I lay back down and entered sleep paralysis, but when the dream started to fade in around me I got scared and woke myself up! I'm so mad!!! I was so close! Oh well. Second dream: I'm moving in to my suite, but when I go to the office to get the key, CSC tells me they lost it. I'm really upset, and we ride somewhere on the cart. There's another person there but I don't know who. I lift up a cloth and look under a chair and find the key. I start to move into my suite, but the building is very different in my dream. The outside is a bathroom, and there are towels folded for us. Third dream: M is talking to N about a couple articles in Hi-Fructose. He keeps talking to her, and their laughing together about whatever they are talking about. I feel really jealous, and he puts his hand on her harm. (It's funny because that has actually happened, minus the Hi-Fructose) I try and talk to him about it but he gets upset. Fourth dream: Me and M in bed. Yes! Not surprising. Great dream. I woke up pretty randy, haha. Only weird part is that during there was almost like a digital screen in the bottom left corner of my vision, with different icons I could choose. I know I have to pick one, and go through all of them. I think they represented Hi-Fructose pictures, but that might be one dream bleeding over into the next.
[This is a catch-up post. These dreams are from the night of July 22-23, 2011.] Awake, Non-lucid, Lucid, Possibly lucid?, [Commentary made while awake] I'm at a big, old house that is now a tourist site. It's a bit like Hearst Castle, only older, in a different architectural style, and not on a hill. Tourists can enter either the house itself to go on a tour, or they can enter a large theater to watch a movie about the house. The space in between the house and the theater is an enclosed, carpeted lobby. While I'm in that space, I give another tourist directions to the main entrance to the house: “Go down there, turn left, go up the ramp, then turn right and go through the doors.” The ramp is long and slopes gently upward. In addition to the large, main theater, the complex also has a ride of some kind with seats that are suspended on long bars from an overhead track. Riders board the ride by strapping themselves into the seats when they are within small, circular, mobile theater pods. These theater pods show a movie about the era in between the heyday of the large house and the present day, that is, the house's early days as a tourist attraction, before it had a visitors' center. The pods also can move around on legs and have motion-simulator functionality. I get into one of the pods 'backwards,' by riding on one of the seats as it comes into the pod from the unloading station. Other riders also board the pod, and then the movie begins. [I'm not absolutely sure, but I think] It was at this point that I woke up for a very brief WBTB (just a few minutes, which is about how long I usually wake up for in the middle of the night). I remembered very well what I had just been dreaming about, and focused on it while I was awake. As I was going back to sleep, I thought, I wonder if I can get back into the same dream I was just in. [Amazingly,] I succeeded in doing so. The mobile theater pod moves out into the street that runs past the big, old house, which is part of the ride. While it's out in the street, the pod is boarded by small, roundish creatures, Expies of The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything [from “VeggieTales”]. After they've boarded the pod, instead of proceeding to attack and plunder it, they decide to go inside the visitors' center to get some Starbucks. This gives me time to escape from the pod and run for help. I escape from the pod and start walking along the sidewalk. Somewhere around here, I realize that I'm dreaming, but I don't want to interrupt the dream plot already in progress; it's interesting and exciting, so I go along with it. I start searching for the main, public entrance to the tourist site. I pass by what appears to be the main entrance and go to a gift shop. The gift shop is filled with a lot of red decorations and red objects, mainly Christmas decorations. I sit down in a chair and get into a conversation with the store attendant. While I'm talking to her, my thoughts stray and the impact of the thought, “Whoa, I'm dreaming” hits me fairly hard. I am suddenly overcome by a strong feeling of sleepiness, and close my eyes. Then I remember that I'll lose the dream if I do that, and open them again. I'm still right where I was. I tell the tour guide about the mobile theater pod being attacked by pirates, and ask, “Do you have a security guard?” She shows me where there is one waiting behind a service counter, and sends him back out onto the street with me. When we're on the street, I notice that there are “floating” vehicles on it and feel dismayed that the sci-fi future is actually here. Then I notice that at least the larger vehicles do have tractor treads, in addition to the pink, glowing force fields I see under all the vehicles. The security guard goes to the mobile theater pod and apprehends the pirates [at least, I suppose he did; I don't really remember that part of the dream]. [Different dream.] A man has been captured and locked in handcuffs. A dog brings him a key in its mouth, so he can get out of them. He does so. Then, his captor approaches and, seeing that he's out of the handcuffs, says to him, “I expected you'd be out of those by now.” The man replies, “I already am.” [Different dream.] I'm showing some guy how to properly arrange the cord for and use the mouse on my computer. [I may or may not have been lucid for this one, I'm not sure.] P. and I are both making cakes with a little bit of dough, under Mom's guidance. My piece of dough is bigger than P.'s. We mix ingredients into the dough with our hands. We're in the kitchen/dining room of House #1, and the cake pans are sitting on the floor under the dining table. We pick them up from there to put the dough in them. Before I put my dough in my cake pan, I run a little bit of tap water onto it, and it shrinks to the size of P.'s piece of dough. That's good, and a relief; I'd been concerned that I'd initially taken more than my fair share when we divided the dough, and when we added the other ingredients.
