    1. #143. Capture the Flag

by , 09-11-2010 at 07:10 AM (Things to Run Away From Really Fast)
Fun dream, but the writing's kind of screwy.

Moving out of Saskatchewan! Maybe I'll stop dreaming about "Ixburg".

      09/10/10

I've de-aged again. I have the impression of messy black hair, and apparently I'm Harry Potter. Cool.

I'm also trapped in a cave.

"I can't let ya leave, 'Arry," explains Hagrid, turning to a conveniently placed stove to pull a kettle off the boil, "The Ministry won' allow it."

"I see." I'm standing with my hands at my sides, eerily calm. The lack of expression seems to unnerve him.

I'm unconcerned. Hagrid has already given away the secret, and he has his back turned.

I raise my right hand. "Imperio."

I walk out into blue skies.

      time skip

In the time since I've left the cave, I've fought off a few extra-inept stormtroopers, easily taken care of. (I actually wasn't sure about one. Thought he might have been a shadow-trooper, but he died easily enough.)

I had another encounter with Berserker!Hagrid. Apparently three layers of Imperius spells don't do anything positive to your sanity.

      Beat him.

Now I'm wandering around Ixburg, heading toward the east end of town for some reason.

I'm trying to fly. Annoyed that it's not working. I can manage some of the jumps, but I can't stay in the air.

Standing in the center of an open road, I concentrate on growing red, hawk-like wings. They extend from my arms, so I don't have to concentrate on a new set of limbs. I flap the wings, and take off.

Passing the warehouses on the edge of town, I notice Imperials swarming the place. Apparently it's their base.

I stand across from Darth Vader.

      "I am your father."

      I'm unimpressed.

We fight, but he fades into the background.

I remember Capture the Flag, from Jedi Academy. That was fun.

A stormtrooper holds the blue flag, and is standing on top of the empty red base. He's waiting for someone to return the flag so he can score.

I force push him off the building, and he goes crashing into the corrugated siding of another warehouse. Dead already. Hn. Blue flag returned.

The blue team scores, and I grab the red flag. Darth Vader's still lurking around here somewhere. Something's glitching on him, maybe? He can't jump onto the roof.

I fly off toward the hospital on the other side of town, the blue base, after sprouting another set of wings. I wonder how I'm carrying the flag without hands. I try not to think about it. Maybe I'm holding it with my teeth.

In another dream, I'm standing in a hallway, looking at the men's and women's bathrooms, which are side by side. I have no fucking clue which one to use.

    2. My first dream journal :) very fun!

      by , 08-12-2010 at 02:32 PM
Ok so i don't forget it I'm going to write whatever I could remember quick.

There was this game we were playing with a giant jabba the hut like frog, in a forest grassy like place but it was big and wide and it resembled the corner part of a ralphs next to my house (this is the end of my dream that I remember, there was also another place but I forgot where it was), and it had the intersection of a vertical street next to my old school and the gate at the side was just like my old school, and the horizontal street was the street in front of the ralphs, and the houses were the exact same but the street posts were a bit more elegant.

Ok the game was like, there was a bunch of big tree branches, huge and long and one of them was enchanted and you had to kill jabba with it, I had 4 other friends with me, one of them was clearly my cousin, the other one I sort of remember which was my cousins friend, and 2 other people I forgot, all together it was 2 boys and 2 girls (my cousin is the girl), plus me (so 5 people).

Jabba also had 4 guards, 2 knights and 2 ogre like monsters, and you couldn't kill them unless you had these 4 knight swords, the knight swords were supposed to be used by my 4 friends, and I was supposed to use the enchanted tree branch against jabba which would finish the game (but usually the game just started over lulz, how fun).

Here are some of the mechanics like, jabba was invisible for one thing, he would jump around places all around us and we couldn't even find the enchanted stick, at least I couldn't, and his knights/ogres weren't helping much either, since they couldn't die, so it was beginning to piss me off, and before this game (the last one before I woke up), I had already somehow gotten to hit jabba enough times with the enchanted stick that the gate opened and I followed the road (which was an exact copy of the streets around my house) towards this place that had like a little monument, small, with 4 swords, and I got them and ran back to my friends, gave it to them and they killed the knights, then I took the enchanted stick and hit jabba for one last time and killed him winning the game until my dream restarted lol, my and my friends had some chit chat also.

Ok so this last one before I woke up, jabba was more invisible and he kept taunting me saying oh you can't catch me blah blah blah and for some reason I was blind and I was using my 'inner memory' of the surroundings (basically my memory of the dream itself) and I created some 6th sense surrounding, it was cool as fuck, but I had an extremely hard time getting to do anything and jabba and his knights were beginning to creep me and my friends out and we kept on going like omg what are we going to do but his knights didn't do much since they weren't what my dream was really focusing on.

Ok, after spinning around with random sticks that weren't enchanted with my 6th sense vision that was basically a black n white contrast view of my dream, I finally got my normal vision back and I got so pissed that I ran out the gate (which already had a nice lot of spectators watching our little game), and I saw one of my friends who is asian and her name is min jin and I clearly remember it was her, and I told her to hold my hand and strut on the street saying we're going to go get the swords anyway because I was pissed, but then I don't know what happened and I woke up and was pissed so I fell back asleep and I was at the same exact place with no change, except it was like I fell out of my dream and it continued without me.

I saw my friend min jin outside the gate and a couple other people which I remember one is another one of my cousins friends, one is the friend that was part of our group (the 4 people) and min jin coming back with plastic bags of swords, and it seemed to me that those swords were all fake except the last person had the real crystal swords (which I had described in my dream to myself earlier so I basically conjured up a better defined sword), and I was like yes woohoo, so I ran back to my cousin and told her we got the swords, but then I looked around and saw on all of those elegant light posts/street posts there were 2 sort of slots like the ones you have on things that have swords in places idk, and they all had swords in them and I was like shit all that trouble (but it was funny oh well) and for some reason I went around instead of going and finishing my dream/game and crossed the street to the other side with one of the elegant street posts and I clearly remember the street name was green and said 'Verdugo' (but it wasn't right lol) and I tried to climb up but it was too high and long and then I heard my cousin go 'careful that's not our property you might get arrested or something there is a cop here' oh and btw there was also a stupid cop watching us as well and I saw his big long motorcycle that I tried to jack but it was too big for me to ride, and I was scared he might see me trying to take a sword out of someone else's 'property' (supposedly) and arrest me, so I went and waited in front of the sidewalk like a good pedestrian, so I don't get run over lol and I looked to both my sides (except my left side wasn't too clear there was a big car on that side that sort of blurred the view from the left) (oh and it was a nice cadillac if that makes a different, a big black cadillac) so I couldn't really see very well but the right side I could see well like 2 blocks, but cars kept passing so I was scared to pass but then it seemed open to me at some point so I passed and then the rest I don't really remember, but I do remember waking up after that....

....did I get run over at the end of my dream? I didn't even get to kill jabba and his knights, damn it, all that trouble for nothing! But it was a very fun dream and my dreams are always fun and exciting like this so I'm going to post them here from now on each day so I don't forget Hope you guys liked it lol! Hope it wasn't too boring, oh if I was a good drawer I would probably draw up some illustrations of it as well, heck, make a movie!

Also keep in mind I never actually saw jabba, it's very weird, it's like my mind thought of him subconsciously, made me think of him consciously (conscious in dream rules or something), but with sight I never saw him, but I heard him talk to me and I guess I created a mental image of him within my dream (even though the whole thing is mentally created...) err :O! I'm only a teen by the way, I don't know much about this stuff, but my dreams are usually long and fun I don't even have to be lucid for something to happen or change, it's weird but I'm sure I'm not the only one who can do that lol.

      Also some illustrations:

Also if you had ever played KH2, the knights (and the swords stand kind of) in my dream looked EXACTLY like the ones in KH2 beast's castle in the hallways and stuff, (before they transform into like heartless lol). I can't find a picture from google so sorry but if you do play the game or seen it whatever then you would imagine !

Edit: I'm going to write their names down so I don't forget (surprised I haven't forgot by this point): Suzy, Emin, Anthony, Yohans, Min Jin.

      1. I'm buying mirrored sunglasses in a Walgreens.

      2. The Offspring are opening a concert for Rush by playing an ACDC cover. The sound is fantastic, just like real life.

      3. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi are fighting to keep their spots on a crowded passenger starship.

I'm Neal Caffrey again. Only this time, I'm back on Hoth, using quick blasts of blue energy to fight off a giant snow monster. To reiterate, I'm using force powers to fight a monster while wearing an expensive suit and a fedora.

Behold, my massive HvZ/Star Wars/Fable/White Collar/Inception/Supernatural/Good Omens crossover dream. Includes characters from Inception, but no spoilers.

      08/01/10

My brother and I are sneaking into our cousins' house, playing a game of what amounts to Humans vs. Zombies, but with more humans trying to "kill" each other.

My aunt catches us in the house. Her face is red and she attempts to loom over us threateningly. "You're trespassing, you know."

"I don't think that's against the rules." Ben says, considering.

"But we are sorry. Truly, sincerely sorry," I lie. "Really. We should go."

      ***

I look around. I'm in a mountainous region surrounded by pillars of ice and concrete bunkers. I'm close to the top of a mountain, on a snowy path.

I pull out my phone and look at it. If Hazel's speed dial "8", I could probably reach my brother the same way. I press "1".

      The line picks up.

"Hey, Ben. What the hell happened to you?"

      "Kkkshhk...separated...zombies...meet up...later."

      The line goes dead.

I shrug, knowing that Ben can take care of himself. I look out over the snowy plains, at once clouded and sunny. It looks like a video game environment. Paths leading to certain places, all of the corners rounded and indistinct... If I didn't know any better, I'd say I was on Hoth.

"Hands in the air," says a voice, crackling and metallic.

I turn around slowly, pasting a smile onto my face.

      ***

Leaning against the concrete wall of the control room, I remain nonchalant as two of the guards keep their weapons trained on me. I was surprised when I realized that they weren't Stormtroopers, and weren't Rebels either. The group that I've let myself be captured by are dark-siders of a different sort, and I haven't yet figured out who they're working for.

The human male in the corner is force sensitive, but not trained. He has short black hair, plain dark clothing, and is probably in his late teens. He's either looking at me with distrust or he's sulking over the pot of cold coffee on the counter. I haven't decided.

The apparent leader is a female Zabrak. Her dark hair is cut in a short bob, and she's going through my personal effects. Finally, she picks up my dual lightsabers in each hand. I shift my weight to my other foot. One of the guards hisses a breath and clutches at his weapon tightly.

"Twitchy, twitchy." I say, eyeing the terrified guard. "Someone could get hurt."

"I'd be careful, Jedi," the leader hisses at me, still holding my lightsabers. "We have you at a disadvantage."

"Do you really?" I ask, amused. I motion with my hand. On the other side of the room, the coffee pours upward into the air, forming an amorphous blob and flying into the face of the sulking teenager. The boy starts to curse, but the woman in front of me barely seems to notice.

"There's very little difference between the Jedi and the Sith."

"You're telling me." I say, "One of those lightsabers is red, you know."

A blood-curdling roar is unleashed from outside. The bunker shakes from its very foundations. Outside in the darkness, I can sense the fury of the beast, aimed at the creatures encroaching on its territory. Us.

"I wonder what happened to the Imperials that built this station." I say quietly, meeting the eyes of the leader.

My dual sabers are in my hands and light up in the next instant, glowing red and blue (and I'm my female Exile character from KOTOR 2). The woman raises her hands. I watch as the blades are folded up into sheets of blunt metal, and look at the woman mournfully.

"You are no fun at all," I say, yanking a pistol from a guard across the room. "Try not to die."

I see a flash of red through the blinding snowstorm. I aim my pistol and shoot three times before it disappears. I hear a roar through the storm, and can barely see the outline of the monster's arms raised into the air before I'm dashing across the arena, dodging the cracks that appear in the ground.

      ***

"Coffee?" I ask brightly, pushing a cup towards the teenager. He scowls but takes the cup.

"That was a mean trick," he says, "I like coffee."

"No, messing with someone's lightsaber, that's a mean trick." I pause, "The coffee was just funny."

He's still angry, but he seems to be hiding a smile as well.

"Master Kenobi. In my study, you will meet me," says a voice over my comlink.

      "Of course, Master Yoda."

Yoda shows me over to a glass case filled with crystals and gemstones. He motions me to look at them. I find myself drawn to a black piece of rock the size of my palm, smooth and glassy, with waves rippling over the surface. I stare at it, intrigued, and look back at Yoda for permission.

      He nods.

I feel for the orange piece of Carnelian in my left pocket, reassured when it's still there. Turning my attention back to the shelf, I pick up the rock carefully, touching it only with my fingertips, and turn it to lie flat on my palm.

I breathe in, allowing the power in the stone to ground me. I feel...

"There's a darkness to this," I say, as if I'm in a trance. "It has a history with death, it's beautiful, it feels cool, the temperature, I mean. I can feel it echoing through me... ignacious, born of fire and now... cold, complete, rational -"

"Back on the shelf, you should put it," says Yoda sharply.

I set the rock back on the shelf, drawing a shaky breath. I want to pick up the rock again, feel for the green crystal that I know should be there, break it in two and give the other half to the person who should have it... Stop it, you're supposed to be Obi-Wan.

"See, you do, the power inherent in these crystals." Yoda says, "Yours, one of them will be, should you take on an apprentice."

I smile, leaning against one of the white walls. I'd wondered why the force-sensitive teenager felt so familiar. Amon?

I shake myself. "We have a mission," I say reprovingly, "Are you trying to distract me, Master Yoda?"

"Hmph. Dream of it, I wouldn't."

      ***

I take on the guise of Neal Caffrey, all smiles and warm handshakes as we bluff our way into Saito's mansion. Ariadne and Scott Summers back me up, along with four men and women in suits that follow us demurely.

Our whole group is surrounded by Saito's bodyguards, and my companions are feeling intimidated, grouping together until they're nearly touching elbows. I pretend not to notice, and focus on the conversation with Saito as he shows us around his mansion.

We stop by the swimming pool. We're more or less openly flirting right now, and I'm drawing on the Neal Caffrey personality in order to distance myself and appear more outgoing. My form is flickering now, male to female and back again, through half a dozen personalities before settling back on Neal. No one seems to notice.

I fall into the water, pleased to feel the shock of cold on my skin. It feels wonderful, and I let myself sigh in pleasure before I force myself to concentrate. I climb the steps up onto the deck, my clothes holding none of the moisture.

Saito is yelling at his guard for jostling me, and apologizes. I tell him not to worry, but that I need to talk to my doctor, as I may have broken one of my ribs. The man points out the change rooms on the other side of the pool.

"Doctor?" I say, holding out an elbow for Ariadne. She looks surprised, but catches herself and nods. She threads her arm through mine and we walk towards the change rooms.

      "Doctor?" she hisses.

"It's improv, Ariadne." I say, smiling. "Just go with it."

We round the corner and Ariadne steps away, brushing at her arm. I flirt with her as she touches my temples, exposing the wiring there.

"I need to upload the schematics to your mind," I tell her, "So that I can stay behind while you get Xavier the information."

"And why is it you're staying behind?" She asks, skeptical.

"There's something bigger going on here," I say quietly. "I need to convince Saito I'm on his side. You get the others out, and I'll figure out what's going on."

      Ariadne steps back, nodding reluctantly.

I decide to give Cyclops the information, since his visor will work as a direct transference point into his temples. (What?) A quick shock, and he's ready to head back home.

      ***

      "Not so fast," says Saito.

We're standing outside in a courtyard, surrounded by enemies. The DCs in business suits are entirely useless, and for some reason, I have to keep them alive. Guards have automatic weapons trained on us, and I'm practically staring down one of the barrels as I raise my hands slowly, ready to talk my way out of this. Ariadne shoots me a look, clearly worried. Cyclops is ready to start a fight.

Saito is overconfident. I can use that, but I need to get the others away first. I need Yoda and Xavier to owe me a favour, dammit, and that isn't going to happen if I get their people killed.

Bright white light explodes from the far end of the courtyard, and a shockwave knocks the guards to the ground and disarms them. Not limited by human sight, I swing around to face the four pillars of light materializing on the ground before us. One of the pillars is wreathed in red flames that fan outward, scorching the earth around it.

The light coalesces into four human figures, three of them standing in a ring behind their leader.

He is never going to let me live this down.

"Castiel." I greet him, but the angel is already barking orders to the other three, sending them into the fray to grab my people and transport them back to the compound. Ariadne catches my eye as she disappears, and I can see all of the questions written across her face.

Until the only ones left standing are me, Saito, and Castiel. I let my false face fall away, and I turn to say something to Saito.

      The dream fades.

Mansions of Silence. Scare Factor: 3.

Looks like Castiel and I are 1:1 for rescues.

    6. TV at Band Practice and N64 Fragment

by , 07-25-2010 at 05:26 PM (Sailing the Noosphere)
      1. My brother and I, both living at my research station, have started a band called "Acid Warning." We're preparing for a big concert and are trying to recruit as many audience members as we can before the show. We take a break from practice to go watch TV with our dad. The first show is Jeopardy, and after we finish, Alex Trebek himself comes by the room and just laughs at us. We are nonplussed and continue watching, this time seeing Dr. Who.

Afterwards, Mom joins us, along with a professor from the station and his wife. Subtle, barbed insults are exchanged between the adults, making my brother and I feel very uncomfortable. We exit, but soon the parents follow us. Dad orders us to leave, saying that he can't stand to spend another day here.

      2. My brother and I discover a website with every N64 game ever made. We hook up the computer to the TV and start to play; I start off with Pokemon Snap, but he soon changes the game to Star Wars Battlefront.
    7. Apparently, Star Wars factions playing soccer.

      by , 07-18-2010 at 11:32 PM
Ok, this dream was the product of me being bored today and wanting to see how well i could do with dream recall as i have almost 0% recall. I took 2 1 hour naps in the living room, awakening between each with my cell phone alarm. I only remembered 1 dream. Here it is.

      Star Wars Soccer
Ok, so the dream started with me being in a 1st person shooter type scenario. Im situated in a rocky, hilly field. Im shooting at some far off little animals, and theres reticles and health bars and the whole nine yards as far as the video imagery goes. I then start taking fire from presumably a sniper in a far off rocky outcrop. I take cover and return fire, killing him. That then alerts nearby enemies to fire at me as well, and a firefight ensues. I try to run to a better cover spot, and then the battle explodes. People pour out from everywhere, most of them star wars related, people with light sabers, storm troopers, etc. Im running in this stone valley bordered by rocky highlands on each side, there were thousands of places for people to take cover, so the battle was extremely epic. I was sprinting through the crossfire towards a certain factions main congregation, a faction i guess my brain synthesized, called the Crystal Sword Warriors. Of course they have giant multi-colored swords made of crystals. I tried to sneak up on thier leader and kill him, but somehow my mentality did a 180 and i became the Crystal Warriors second in comand. At this point the fighting stopped and the leaders of the respective factions agreed to meet in he center of the field to discuss a truce. At first it was very serious feeling, but then it suddenly changed and i became aware that this was actually the team captain meeting before a soccer game and that we were about to play, army vs army, and that this was currently being telivised. Oh, and the US soccer team was there as well . We for some reason start making jokes to eachother, and the Sith team captain tries to be a ham and make an epic speech in front of the cameras, but one of my crystal guys sneak up behind and kics his legs out. Everyone laughs and to my surprise the Sith doesnt slice my dudes head off. Then someone else, i dont remember who, tries the same deal, to make an epic spech. The US team captain, he happens to be Han Solo, comes over and pours toothpicks all over the guys head, also resulting in laughter. Han comes over to me and gives me a cheesy smile, which results in me backhanding him across the face pimp-style. More laughter, however this laughter is very forced and over-the-top as to appease the camera men and thier stations. After the cameras are gone, everyone turns on thier heels and briskly walk away from eachother back to thier soccer armies. I wish Han good luck before i go and he responds pleasantly, i forget exactly what he did. I then woke up. Which is sad, cause i really wanted to see thousands of storm troopers, Sith and random American athletes playing soccer at once.

I also had a fragment of a dream. I was in my dinning room, and my mom was sitting outside in the back yard. I looked at the table, and there was a tiny basket with two gross looking mice in it, their features were all distorted and actively changing, they looked like reflections in a pool of water. I frantically called my mom over to deal with it. She came inside, grabbed the mice and, crying, wrenched thier necks, resuling in a horrid cracking noise. The secod mouse she accadently removed the head from, resulting in our collective disgust.

I guess thats it, hopefully i can recall some dreams tonight when i can get some longer REM cycles going on.
    8. McDonald's Anarchy and Two Fragments

by , 07-16-2010 at 03:04 AM (Sailing the Noosphere)
      1. The family is visiting me at my research station. My brother says he needs to talk, and he tells me that his friend A is growing more distant with him after breaking up with K. The dream fast-forwards to the next day, where we all go out to eat at McDonald's. The brother orders poutine (suggesting we're in Canada?) and we talk about how relationships seem to chain down from one person to another. The parents eat calmly downstairs.
When he and I go back down, a waitress (with a nametag reading Skilscience, so a failed RC) is talking in a Norwegian accent to my dad. It seems that he's been rude, and she's trying to instruct him in manners. He ignores her while asking for more gravy, and she snaps. She jumps up on a nearby table and starts shouting everything wrong with McDonald's. The cheese is fake, the beef is tainted, employees spit in the food, etc. Soon the rest of the employees join her, shouting "Down with Wal-Mart! Down with McDonald's!" The family leaves in a huff, and the dream fades out over Anti-Flag style punk music.

      2. I'm a bassist in a successful rock band with a large crew of student roadies (all of whom I recognize as fellow students IRL). We're recording a new album, and in the studio other members of the band are listening to Led Zeppelin for inspiration. We start to record, but the drums just aren't working properly. We waste hours of precious studio time, and I drive away from the studio frustrated.

      3. Movie-style voiceover shows an epic tale in the Star Wars universe. Two Jedi, dueling hardcore, got frozen in a block of ice; their bodies rotted, but the lightsabers still burn today. I lead a team of explorers to find them, but as we retrieve the blades one of them somehow cuts through the other. This releases a huge fireball of energy, and my crew races to escape while being pursued by ninja stormtroopers.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      RAT-AT-AT-AT-AT-AT

      Gorrammit. There's too many.

Countless mechs surround me from all sides, as I flee ever deeper into the cave. Capable of taking me out at any time, they seem to be making a sport out of chasing me. If they knew who I was. . . If they knew I was the Head Imperial General in charge of the war effort. . . I'd be dead right now.

I consider using Geass to take them all out at once, but I'm not confident I can imprint that many at a time, and if I fail, then my power and identity would no longer be a secret. Everything I had struggled and fought for all these years would be for naught. I have to keep moving.

Off to my right, on a raised rock ledge, their Ace Pilot comes into view. He fires a burst from his gun that glances off my armor as I veer to the side to avoid the brunt of the attack.

      Hmm. . . I've got an idea.

I focus on the Pilot and activate Geass, feeling his mind wipe clean as my will overtakes him. Just like that, he turns his fire onto his former allies, in an attempt to protect me. He does pretty well, allowing me to make quite a bit of headway into the cave. Almost home free, I exit the narrow passageway into a huge, open cavern.

      Frak me.

Lining the tiered walls are hundreds of mechs, waiting to to open fire. Their ambush sprung, there's only one thing I can do to defend myself. . .

My Geass explodes outward in a shock-wave originating from my glowing eyes. I see every mind it wipes, all the desires, all the fears, all the intricacies that made that mind unique. It's too much; there're too many; I'm losing my grip. . .

      I awaken.

    10. Fragments from July 1-8 2010

A number of circumstances have affected my recall and ability to post for the past week. But in any case:

      1. A weird alternating dream; it began with scenes from an imagined Star Wars Family Guy. I remember a particular scene where Lois, toting a rifle, swung it about the cantina saying in a cutesy voice "Who's the murderer?" However, whenever a lightsaber cut was made, it seemed to cut through the animation. Through the hole would enter tentacles, as if from a Lovecraftian horror. It was like an oozing fungus, and as it consumed and grew I became physically ill. This change of scenes happened a couple of times before I woke up, breathing heavily.

      2. In my grade school cafeteria, I'm playing blackjack. The cards aren't falling my way, and so I leave and go upstairs. I find myself upon opening a door in my own room. Soon V and J enter; V has a new haircut, but all the two can talk about is my own egregious bed head.

      3. A huge earthquake breaks apart the continents, leaving much technology preserved but social and political lines in chaos.

      4. I run parkour-style through a massive prefab house facility, only to find my research group seated in the middle in an already-assembled house. They are nonplussed and continue to play poker.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

It's been decided. Tomorrow morning, I am to be put to death for my rebellious actions against the Empire. My comrades share the same fate. As we leave the presence of our judge--Vader himself--each of us is taken in a separate direction by our respective escorts.

It's night-time on the snowy planet; I only have hours left to live. The prospect is overwhelming, yet the only thing on my mind is an incredible yearning to sleep outside in a bed made of snow.

Taken by my subdued charm, the female guard arranges for this final request to be fulfilled. Time lapses by and, sure enough, I am presented with a mattress filled with soft, cold, pure-white snow. They place it in a trailer, open to the elements, on a bed-frame adorned with heavy leather straps. Contemplating how my last night on earth will be spent strapped down to prevent my escape, I barely notice the giant commotion going on around us.

A powerful being of some kind is attacking the base with huge doll-like creatures. Each guard around me leaves the area, assuming I'll do the right thing and strap myself down. . . It's a good thing I'm no idiot.

Panting, I duck behind a broken concrete barrier as the cold air rips in and out of my lungs. Far from the main compound, it will take some time for them to find me, especially if they think I'm still in the trailer. Now a fugitive with no way off the planet, I decide it's time to sever my ties with the Rebels and start anew. . . . .

Years pass, and in that time I become a distinguished officer in the ranks of Stormtroopers, to the point where everyone at Central knows my name. I had gotten to my position by infiltrating HQ years ago, assassinating a lowly officer, assuming his identity, and avoiding contact with Vader and anyone else who might have recognized me, all the while making the right connections and moving up the chain of command. I was determined to change the system from the inside out, and I'm well on my way. . . . .

Walking slowly along the run-down, grey-paneled corridor, my dark blue cape flows behind me as I walk. Stopping before the rental apartment door, my age-hardened face smiles weakly behind this forsaken mask. Even now, I, a High General of the Empire, second only to the new Empress herself, find it necessary to hide my identity, lest someone from my past recognize me.

Things across the galaxy have changed since I received this new power. This power, the power of Geass, allows me to permanently imprint my will upon anyone I so choose. I've found it useful in reshaping the Empire into a sovereign entity that imposes happiness on the inhabitants of the galaxy, forcefully if necessary.

Unfortunately, while it was easy for me to bring down the original Rebel Alliance with my newfound ability and former connections, this new resistance to our mission of peace, prosperity, and blissful ignorance is proving more difficult to tranquilize. So, in order to further my our agenda, I 'convinced' the Empress to re-allow the training of force users, assuring her I'd handle any rogues personally.

Behind these doors was one such rogue. Obviously, a full-on confrontation would most likely end in my death. Thankfully, my Geass has grown strong enough to work with almost no restraints. The door opens.

Across the room, leaning on a balcony rail overlooking the city, is the force user. He turns quickly, eyes going wide, hand raising up--but it's too late. My Geass has already taken effect, wiping away this poor fool's mistaken ideals and replacing them with a more perfect set. A set that will ensure his obedience toward the Empress, but more importantly his undying loyalty to me.

The deed done, I leave with my new pawn trailing behind me. However, there is no time for celebration, I still have a war to win, and an entire galaxy of people that need my help finding happiness.

I'm attending some kind of school function in the auditorium. It hasn't started yet, but the guest of the evening is everyone's favorite Emperor, Darth Lord Sidious. It's up to me to bring him down.

First thing's first, I need to eliminate the prisoner who know's I'm coming. Unfortunately, he'll be well guarded, so I need an alternative means of entry. Spotting a bathroom next to the room they're keeping him in, I nonchalantly enter it, lock the door behind me, and push my way through the ceiling tiles. There's still a brick wall in my path, but that gives way when I apply some pressure.

Looking through a slit in the ceiling tiles, I sneak behind the metal cage the Rebel prisoner is in, pull out my silenced USP and solemnly unload a few rounds into the back of his head, dropping him to the floor. The guard hears what's up, and turns around. It's too bad I've already got him in a lock at this point. He tries to shout for help, but I cover his mouth with my hand right before snapping his neck.

Next on the to-do list: take out the Emperor's decoy. Using the ceiling, I make my way to the back of the auditorium. I toggle on Invisibility and Fly and fly down to the stage, where the Emperor and his decoy are speaking. The decoy has to go get ready for the presentation, so the two of them part ways. While it's tempting to simply take out the Emperor here and now, I know that I need to kill the other guy first. Quickly and quietly, I follow the decoy to a rear exit which eventually leads to the secondary guest quarters. Before the door can close, locking me out, I Teleport into the hallway. Now it's just him, me, and my silenced pistol.

As he enters his large and ornate quarters, I pull out my pistol, turn off invisibility, and fire. Somehow ready for me, he dodges to the side and runs off behind a large golden fountain. Flying over to his hiding place, he jumps out at me, yelling maniacally at the top of his lungs. Still, it doesn't take much for me to move aside and put him in a headlock. Shoving my USP under his chin, I embed three bullets in his brain. For some reason, he refuses to die, so I'm forced to snap his neck like I did with the guard. Dropping the body, I mentally prepare to face my real target.

Bursting through the rear exit, I stare down the cause of so much pain and suffering throughout the galaxy.

"Your reign ends tonight, my lord." I spit out the last part as sarcastically as possible.

      "I beg to differ!"

At that, he takes off, into the air, gliding effortlessly to the very center of the auditorium. Keeping up, I unleash a volley of Force lightning in his direction. With a crazed sneer, he deflects it and sends his own right back at me. Erratic blue electricity begins pulsing through my body, but he can't hurt me with my own weapon. Reveling in the sensation, I absorb the energy from the bolts, storing it for use at a later time. From the crowd, two people lift off the ground and help me surround Sidious.

"Looks like you've started sooner than planned!" exclaimed the girl as she took out her blue lightsaber. Her male comrade follows suit, breaking out two green sabers.

"I don't remember calling in for backup." I state, as I watch Sidious, still sneering, remove a saber from his black cloak. "Just stay out of my way."

Sidious attacks me, lighting his red blade. I go to block, whipping out my light blue ice-saber, but the searing hot plasma cuts right through its polar opposite. Crap, I think as I jump backwards to avoid the slash. It needs more juice. Before another thought can even cross my mind, Sidious assaults me again. This time, my ice-saber, now being fueled by pure willpower, stops his cut. More than that, it begins to freeze his weapon. The two newcomers begin blasting him with force lightning from behind, preventing him from retreating as my unique weapon completely freezes his saber and hand.

Pissed right the hell off, a strange, barbed, long, sickly-tan, mutant-like tail extends from under his cloak. With it, he knocks the others to the side, breaks off his own hand, and impales me in the back. The shock is enough to make me drop my ice-saber. Sidious starts laughing, as if he's already won. Grimacing angrily, I rip my Katana from my side, empowering the blade with black and red energy. A single upward swipe is all I need to cleave his monstrous tail in two. I followed that by shoving my sword into his stomach and twisting it up though his chest.

No longer laughing, Sidious' expression changes dramatically as I watch the life fade from his eyes. Good riddance.

    13. Darth vader, The continental theme park and the Planetside Television Kill. [Non-Lucid]

Not a lucid dream, but still pretty weird!

I was with a group of planetside soldiers, flying in a ship through mist. Eventually, we landed on a metallic construction like a large H with landing pads on each end of the H. Climbing out, I saw that we were in a low valley, with a grass floor sloping down. As we all ran down towards the exit of the valley, we came to an obstacle course based on all of the worlds countries. All I can clearly remember is that I got stuck on the windmill - rope - bridge, but eventually I got out and met up with the rest of the squad. We then drove in 'Lightning' rapid assault tanks towards a second valley, this time leading up. When we reached the top, we noticed a Store built into the cliff face. Curious, we walked up to it and were met by a smiling old couple, who invited us in and gave us food. But then, the news came! They were actually going to turn us in to some kind of evil warlord! The two old people ran off into a nearby sci-fi metal tunnel, and I gave chase, eventually cornering the woman who was actually an evil spirit in disguise! (seriously, my dreams really are this weird - and no, I dont do drugs ) Anyway, drawing my trusty Vanu blade, I activated its energy beam function, when it turned into a television. Yeah... Well, seeing no other options, I attacked the evil spirit / woman with the silver TV and Killed her, her shadow getting sucked into the screen. At this point the dream became confused, until I seemed to be floating behind darth vader, who was tring to escape past our troops in the valley. Oh, and he was armed with a bow and arrow. well, he did some metal gear style sneaking, and eventually made it to the ship, which was behind one of the H's pillars. He shot an arrow into a lone sentry's side, and then I woke up.

I really need to let up on the Planetside XD

      1. I'm washing dishes in the research station kitchen, when V comes in and says "I like your orange skirt!" I think she says "shirt," so I look down and see that I'm wearing my Star Wars band photo tee along with blue jeans. I respond that I'm confused, but she keeps repeating the phrase a couple of times until I realize that there's an orange ring around the bottom of my tee, presumably from a bad wash process.

      2. A kindly and eccentric professor is taking my class outside to do some reading. We emerge into a wood that looks exactly like the backyard in my old house, except there is a huge cliff off to one side. Some people try to climb it and fall, but I ask him how to get to the plateau at the top. He shows me the easy rock stairs on the other side.

I feel a steady pull somewhere, like I'm being summoned. Images of an immense stone cavern, alive with a bright blue energy.

I seem to be on a road trip with my family. We get mixed up with the local vampires, and I have half of the population out to kill me. I'm standing in a hotel room with off-white walls and a duvet on the bed, talking to a woman with short blonde hair. She's an important figure to the vampires, and she's giving me information that might help me survive. We're planning something.

Memory of a red metal door and what might be a gymnasium. Being chased by the vampires, slamming the door into the face/arm of one of them as I run outside. It's daylight, but I'm not sure if that bothers them. Outside a brick building, patches of green grass growing weed-like in the gravel.

Space dream. Mentions of Kyle Katarn. I'm in a ship, dark metal interior. A DC thinks he's intimidating, but I don't feel the least bit threatened. Semi-lucid, I'm thinking about writing things down later. Sex dream.

Weird FA. I still feel half-stuck in the dreamworld, but not immersed in it. I think about waiting at the Twin Towers that Walms mentioned as a possible meeting place, pull up an image of what used to be there. I'm standing on top of the north tower, beside the antenna. I think about the Task of the Month, jumping off a skyscraper. I watch my dream avatar jump from the building and land on her feet, as if I'm watching a video clip. The scale is all wrong; the DA is too tall in comparison to the building beside her.

I'm Neal Caffrey from White Collar, helping to catch people. The dream-plot is nonsensical, and my surroundings are wavy coloured lines over white. I talk to Peter Burke about the people we caught by running into them with more wavy coloured lines that might have been a car.

"OMFG A CAT!" I shout, pointing. A cat walks along the driveway. I have no idea what context could turn this into a momentous event. Maybe all the animals are dead?

      A CAT! Scare Factor: 3.
