I was at my dorm with Autumn. My roommate was a former quarterback for his high school's football team, but as he explained later, he got sick of tiring himself out on the field. He invited a girl over from Japan. She was originally from America. The girl had long, slightly curly, black hair. She was really proud of the fact that she was on a game show in Japan. Basically, competitors fought and raced each other on a variety of stages in order to prove their skill. I realized she was talking about a game show I had participated in recently. We each had a white handheld device which allowed us to connect to the game course. We synchronized for a quick practice round. Her avatar on the game show was similar to her actual appearance, but she wore a schoolgirl outfit and star pins in her hair. I took the form of Igarashi Ganta for some reason. For the first round, we appeared on a circular platform in the middle of a pool. The objective was to push the other person off the platform. When the fight began, the girl charged at me. One of her star pins flew off her head and struck me in the heart. I never knew that magic was allowed on the game show; my dad had forced me into participating, and no one told me the rules in English. Anyway, I stumbled backward, and it didn't take long for her to shove me into the water. "Moonbeam is victorious!" the announcer screamed. I popped out of the game world for a moment, stunned. "Wow, you're good," I commented. "I'm one of the best," she answered without leaving the game world. I heard her voice through my console. "Shooting Star Moonbeam." I watched her standing on the platform in awe. When she smiled at me and pointed at the next stage, I reconnected. I found myself on an obstacle course. I had to climb over a massive cube made of stone, run down a slippery slope while keeping my footing so I could jump over the pit of spikes that came right after, jump across logs sticking vertically out of the water, and finally run across a bridge before a flame on a fuse could burn it down. Moonbeam sent me a heart through the chat interface. "Good luck!" she said. With the sound of a pistol firing, the second round began. I struggled just getting over the stone block. By the time I made it to the other side, Moonbeam was already on her way over the spike pit. I began to catch up, however. I completed the log obstacle in half her time, so we were speeding down the bridges on each side of the course at roughly the same time. She still came out ahead. "Moonbeam wins again! She's on fire!" the announcer cried. The bridge erupted in flames behind me. "That's enough for now," she said, disconnecting. I followed suit. The dream jumped. Wanting to improve my skills, I helped Autumn join the game show roster. We connected to the game world and set up a system to rapidly strengthen our avatars. Basically, the avatars collected experience and leveled up like in a roleplaying game. There were porcupine monsters that shot out their spines and regenerated them in the game world. Each of the spines gave a little bit of experience. I bought thirty porcupines from a merchant and put them in a room with us. Autumn and I did our best to destroy all of the spines as they shot toward us, and we quickly gained levels. I was already level 121 when we started. By the time I reached level 139, one of the system administrators appeared and destroyed my porcupines. He accused me of cheating because it was too easy for us to level this way. Without considering anything I had to say, he took away the levels we'd gained - plus one more each. I decided this wasn't worth it and disconnected. The dream jumped. Autumn and I were working on building some kind of giant truck for a performance downtown. It had to be ten times the size of a normal cargo truck. We connected huge steel boxes on lifts while the other people worked on the exterior. It wasn't very hard, but we had to make sure everything was aligned properly while maximizing the size of the cargo chamber. When we were satisfied with it, we had the guy controlling the lift let us out at the front of the chamber. We were done working for the day. Autumn decided to go home and take a nap, but I wanted to eat dinner before leaving, so we parted ways. I grabbed some food and sat down by myself. Before long, my roommate and Moonbeam joined me. My roommate told stories about working in the union and his high school football days. I just sipped apple juice and kept to myself. He got up at one point to grab seconds, and Moonbeam asked something about dreams. I didn't quite catch it. My roommate came back before I could clarify what she meant. I was a little more interested at this point, and my roommate was interfering... So I put laxatives in his cake and waited patiently. He excused himself when his face paled. "Be honest," asked Moonbeam, "did you do that to him?" We walked over to the drink machine. I couldn't decide whether I wanted more apple juice, water, or some kind of soda. I decided apple juice was probably best. "Get soda if you didn't do it!" "Well, I'm not going to lie," I laughed. I filled up my glass with juice. I filled up a glass for Moonbeam, too, but she already had her own. We walked around to the other side of the cafeteria and found strawberries growing in a miniature garden. When Moonbeam pointed them out, I snatched one right out of the garden. It wasn't fully ready for consumption, but it was delicious nonetheless. One of the cafeteria workers got mad at me for eating the strawberries. She took us over to a giant watermelon tree. For some reason, the melon grew into slices, and it was enormous! She pulled down a watermelon slice the size of my body and asked Moonbeam if she wanted any. "Use your fingers," the worker instructed. Moonbeam took a handful and stuffed it in her mouth. She smiled at me. We continued out of the cafeteria. On the way back to my dorm building, we started free running. I was sliding down railings on my shoes, running across walls, and jumping over anything in my path until I landed in front of a red robot with a computer monitor for a head. The screen said Minahpen - Nephanim backwards. Moonbeam's excitement with our free running dwindled. "What's that?" she asked. "It's me from another world," I explained. "Stand back." A rift opened, sucking all three of us in. We landed on a deserted street in what looked like New York City. Most of the buildings were in ruin, and the sky was gray with storm clouds. I was surprised to find my roommate standing behind the robot. "Did you do this?" I asked him. "Who else would have?" he laughed. "This is payback for what you did to me." I didn't feel any remorse. The robot charged at me and began singing a song. The appropriate background track played throughout the dreamscape. I caught the robot's fist and leaped backward, skidding past Moonbeam. Heeding my advice, she finally took refuge on the sidewalk. I made distance between me and my other self as soon as possible and summoned Axis' gauntlets to my hands. This wasn't a job for Apheri... I wanted to punch myself into the ground. Lyrics appeared in my field of vision. I stared at the yellow-framed bubble letters in disbelief. "You want me to sing?" I laughed. Every word I missed made my robot opponent stronger. I sighed and swallowed to clear my throat. The words were in Japanese, so I was even less confident about singing them, but I knew I could do it. As my robot self sprinted forward again, I brought back my fist, charging up my punch with power. I released it just as my portion of the song ended and my robot self reached the limit of my range. He tumbled backward, rolling on the ground until he crashed into a rusty car parked in the road. Moonbeam cheered and applauded me. "Way to go, Nephanim!" she shouted with her hands cupped around her mouth. I felt strangely empowered. This was my element. I didn't understand why, but I was more powerful than I ever imagined. I clenched my fists and charged after my robot self. Spears of blue light struck the street, but I was too fast for them to hit me. I leaped into the air just before I reached the car and punched the robot in his monitor just as he started to get up. The rusty car slid backward from his second impact. I woke up halfway, and for a time, I was lying in bed while standing on the deserted street. I turned to look at Moonbeam. "This is... a dream," I realized. I could feel my body in bed, but I hadn't left the dream yet. "Moonbeam!" I shouted. "I'll see you again!" She and I shared a smile as I fully awakened.
I was in a dorm of sorts. I feel... at peace? Looks like our dorm near LaSalle. I was in school, in the college of Engineering. I was going to take some classes. First, we have to do some cleaning. Looking for a dust pan, I made my way out to the football field. I passed by a garden, and decided to water the plants, especially the ones I planted there before. Went back to the college of Engineering, and thought I was supposed to be teaching. I was late, or forgot which class I was supposed to be in. I was going to be fired. I was near a truck. JJ was there, listening to score of Harry Potter (or something).
Libertad in Bacolod. Looking for something. The Smart office? The girl I was with was giving directions, but is finding it hard to describe it. She then said that it's near the dorm where we had a sleep-over before. I said I remember where it is, and so I can find it easily. Then I was going into that dorm. It was very messy. Not a room I like at all. And it was dark, with only a little yellowish light, as if from a candle, that lights the place. I went into the bathroom and found two guys there, and the toilet bowl was stuffed with either dirty paper or cloth. I think I slept overnight. I was at home. In the kitchen area. It looks a bit dark. Rainy morning or afternoon. I was in an office, working on computers. The environment was white. I was with co-workers/students. I was just starting when we were told by a lady in a white lab coat to shut down. I got irritated because it takes ages to shut down my computer. Then there was a yellow hologram of a woman wearing glasses. She was saying something but I forget, or probably it was inaudible. Then she disappeared. Suddenly, there were robbers. They were demanding access to something. Probably money, but I had the idea of a "key." Then the hologram lady appeared, and she told them it will take them 10 weeks (or something) to access it. And then, in the hologram, she was shot, and she slumped over her desk. A guy appeared in the hologram, and said he got "it." They left. Then suddenly, the "hologram lady" appeared in the flesh and blood, demanding how they could have broken the code. I went, along with others, to the hologram room. It was nothing more than a 4x4 feet closet, attached beside the window. The door and walls are broken. I tried tracing the robbers. I draw a pentagram on the wooden floor, and slapped my right hand on it. Then I held it up and feel where they went. They haven't gone far yet. They went into the forest. I chased after them. The area actually looks more like a camping site. There were tree houses and a mansion nearby. I then encountered a group of classmates (from high school, presumably, but none of them looks familiar) carrying food and drink (beer, probably). They said something about eating or something. I decided to hang out with them. Hazy. I was in the camp, and was asked what I want to eat. There was only a choice of horse soup(?) at the moment. The priest who was there said that they thought they started the fire before they left. The cook (who looks like a bipedal horse) said that they had to catch the horse to be cooked after that. They started praying and ate. I was in the city. Italy (how the hell would I know?? I haven't been there, but my mind came up with the place). Someone was chasing "us." There were two of us. And the agents chasing us were from the government. They were trying to catch us with special abilities. Either me or one of us can teleport. We were on a bridge with a lot of people. We "jumped" into something, but were pushed off. It was a scientist doing something. Then we landed on an underwater invention by another scientist. He explained to us how it crawls spider-like on the sea floor. Then he found out we were being chased by the government, and he pushed us off the thing and into the sea of beautiful marine ecology.
I was in our school in college. I am with some friends. I needed to pay the rent. --------- Dreamsigns: School in College (I'm not in school right now) Needed to pay rent (I'm not renting anything)

sorry for missing caps, etc.: too lazy, on my ithing, blah blah blah... you get it. So this isn't gonna be very detailed cause it's been a while since I had this one so I don't remember much. I was at a garbage dump type of place, a big lot surrounded by a short rusty fence and a mound of greenish brown trash in the middle. There were seagulls circling the top of the crap pile. There was a guy there in a dirty blue jumpsuit and a milkman hat who was shoveling trash from the mound and throwing it in another smaller mound. So basically his job was to shovel the trash around for no reason... lol poor guy. I went up to the big trash mound and started digging around (ew), and i found a brown paper bag. I opened it up and there were a bunch of kitties in it, and a cat (mom I think.) I grabbed the bag and showed it to the trash guy, asking if I could take them since I didn't think they should be thrown away like that. He told me I could only take one, somethinb about having to fill his "dead cat trash quota". I grabbed a gray one and gave the rest back to the trash man. For some reason I had to hide the kitty though, like it was illegal to have it or something? I don't know. But anyways, I put it in my purse and very carefully walked home. Something happened happened on the walk but I don't remember... I ran in my 'house' and locked the door. The place was actually like a really dark and scary dorm room. I think I had a roomate but I don't really remember. I dumped the cat out of my purse onto the table, but it was flat as a pancake and dead.
Dream - Lucid I remember being in a church, sitting at a pew. Some really creepy piano music started to play, and people started to chant this weird song. Bars came down from the pews in front of everyone and trapped us (kind of like the safety bars on roller coasters). I looked to my left, and 3 or 4 guys in suits were sitting next to one another chanting, looking extremely creepy. I was a little weirded out, so I somehow got of the bar that was trapping me and left. ~ I walked into the dorm I was supposed to be living in for the semester. My mom had it all set up; she had my bed all made and my clothes all put away. The dorm looked much nicer and spacier than the one I had freshman year. In fact, the floors were carpeted, and there were 2 TVs! However, there were 3 other beds...I had 3 other roommates. o_o I remember laying down on my bed. I figured out it was a water bed. My mom had made it up with some really nice bedspread. I remember it being a dark red color. I remember talking to my mom, and her saying I probably wouldn't be able to go to bed early, because she remembered hearing the other girls talk about some German person coming in that night. I then asked my mom if she had brought my underwear and pants. She said no, and I asked her to go get them, or maybe I said I'd get them myself, can't quite recall. I then remember one of the roommates coming in. She had long-ish dark brown hair pulled back into pigtails. She definitely looked like a freshman, probably about 18 or 19. We said hello. I commented to her about the carpets and about how much nicer that dorm was than my old one. I remember her putting away her underwear in dresser drawers. It was mostly thongs. She started telling me about what she was going to wear the next day when her and her boyfriend bought weed. I then remember I had somehow gotten my pants and underwear, and I was putting them away in the two dresser drawers below the two that the other girl had put her things away in. I remember seeing a flyer about some girl named Irene who, if you payed her a dollar, you could have your cat in the dorms. I thought about bringing Belle, my cat, into the dorms. I thought about her sleeping on my bed with me. I don't think I decided to bring her for some reason. I also remember thinking about how I kinda felt like a freshman again, new to and excited about the college world. ~ I was in high school band again. I remember sitting in a band room. My high school band teacher was there. I had my clarinet, and was reading the music on the page. The reed felt weird in my mouth. It was an old reed. I remember I was close to last chair. I thought I may have actually been last chair, but a couple of people sat down to my left. They had 3rd part music, and I had 2nd part. I thought hard about playing clarinet regularly again. I remember thinking that maybe I should play bass clarinet instead, since I have one, I played it all through high school, and there were no bass clarinet players in this band. However, I stayed where I was and continued to play. ~ I remember trying to "Like" something on my old friend (who is no longer my friend in waking life for some reason :/) Jane's Facebook. It said that she didn't allow "Likes" on her Facebook. I then remember seeing her playing something on the piano. I wanted to help her, because she was having trouble. I started trying to nicely help her. She accepted the help and was being very friendly towards me. Then, I remember seeing a monitor on Kacey's computer. The background was a picture of her and I jumping in the air doing some weird karate poses. If you started the computer up, it was a video that stopped at the point that we jumped in the air, turning it into a picture or still-frame. Random. Anyway, we all had to go to this pep rally thing that was outside. Everyone was standing up in a grassy area. People were performing some talent show. Jane was going to play the music that I had tried to help her with. I remember seeing either me or someone else with these crazy, giant porcupine-looking quills in their hair that was part of some cheer leading or dance squad called the Quillin' something or another, I can't remember. They were going to perform against another cheer leading or dance squad. But back to Jane. She got up to the piano. It looked like a child's play piano, it was red and low to the ground. She put her music up and just stared at it for awhile. A man was standing behind her, and asked her if she knew the music well. She said she didn't, but she was going to play through it anyway. I was standing to her right. She would start play, would mess up, then start again. I felt very bad for her, I wanted to help her. This went on for awhile. It got to the point where I had to look the other direction. I then remember something about being in two different groups. We were somewhere that we weren't supposed to be, in some shack or some other kind of building. People were looking for us. I remember some piece of seafoam green yarn that was split into to different pieces, but converged into one piece. I remember someone on the other end of it who was in the other group very far away talking using the yarn. You could hear her through the yarn. She was asking for help and sounded like she really needed it. I remember at some point being back where we were supposed to be, and being surprised at how far away we actually were.
I'm back in middle school. I see all my friends from there and I'm a little confused because I seem to be able to recall which high schools everyone chose to go to. So I wonder, how is this possible if we're still in middle school? Come to think of it, i kind of remember going to high school..? I dismiss the thought and talk with my old "friends." Suddenly I'm on a bus. The bus is really big and I lay down on a huge seat. It's like one of those travel buses instead of a city bus. I am laying down facing the back right in the front, there is a blanket wrapped around me. I figure I am going to IS 27, but its weird because it's not like a city bus. I'm in a half-way sleep when Felix enters. I'm in a bit of shock, and I only see his back. I can't look at him in the face since I'm supposed to be sleeping! Nevertheless I get a pretty big rush, and stare into his back in slight panic as he puts his stuff down. I cover my face with my blanket a little as he turns around and recognizes me (as I always do when I sleep), but I'm asleep so he doesn't rouse me. I feel around for my metro card in silence but I can't find it, which worries me. What if I have to get up before he leaves? I look a mess (haha). I fall into the halfway sleep again and kind of recall him getting off. As he does, I rush to the bus driver and talk to him about Feef. I ask him to tell me what stop he got off on. I feel content. The bus gets off in a pretty big parking lot, and I see the Forbes twins. I'm not really sure why we got off in such a place, but I hang around, still happy about glimpsing Feef. The dream has shitty recall at this point..and I remember showing up at school. The cafeteria lady gives me a paper with a key and tells me I've gotten a single at Tidewater (or rather, I read so). This is great news! I exclaim my joy.

My friends and I are in a huge gym that reminds me of CHS's gym, we take our seats on the ground. Gus and I are laying down, we're expecting to see her lover, Al, perform at whatever event this is supposed to be. The event's about to begin and everyone piles in, but I don't recall seeing Al and her hopes dampen. Suddenly a guy comes and looks at her, smiles, and sits down. I realize it's actually Al, noticing he looks like he just shaved. I'm surprised he decided to sit next to her out of all people, and they start talking. I'm up on a bleacher now as a break commences and everyone seems to go off to get food or something. I think this is a great opportunity. When Al and Gus come back, I realize Gus keeps saying "Ten minutes." Al says, "WHat about a lunch or something?" Al has a skeptical air and Gus has a passionate air. Then Al says, "Okay, what if I wanted to take you ice skating," and he seems really genuine about it, and Gus and i both know this is a huge turning point. I'm shocked he asked, really. Then Gus gets too passionate and says something along the lines of, "Kiss my knees and promise me you will come to visit." To VB, I assume. I knew I have to intervene because Gus is getting carried away. So I lay myself down, drawing attention, look at Gus, and say quietly "Stop it. You're scaring him." Gus calms down and they go off somewhere, I'm on top of a bleacher with a couple of my friends. There's a black-guy-giant taller than the bleachers talking into the phone, and I figure he's harmless but my friend tells me he's been talking crazy stuff. I listen in and he seems ot be discussing being pissed off at someone and adderall..ok then. Dream transitions and I'm on a dinner table, with Gus, Jess, and her sister VA. I'm surprised VA is there because her and Jess don't really get along. We're discussing where we are going ot eat after going out, and I offer to find a couple of decent restaurants in Arlington. I recall going on yelp and only being able ot find restaurants with a small amount of ratings. I find a really good Swedish one, but then I wonder what Swedish cuisine is like. A fragment: being in my new single room in Hampton roads after a long night of partying. Frag: Accidentally leaving Randy numerous messages on his tumblr ask box, even though he doesn't have a tumblr, and fearing he will figure out its me. (esp. since I didn't hit anonymous button) The night before I dreamt about move-in day. I had moved into blue ridge and discovered no one had moved into my 222 room. That guy who's a female version of Helen was there along with Randy. I was pretty pleased with the fact Randy and I would be so close. Blue ridge had a huge ground floor with escalators. Nothing too important happened.
Good morning, everybody. Dream #1 I was out with a group of people, possibly at the edge of a building like a school building. There were shrubs, possibly euonymous, just behind a short fence. I, and maybe some of the other people, may have been trimming these shrubs. But this was also like some test, like some kind of paper test that was being taken indoors. Something happened with time. As I was walking past the shrubs, which were like a classroom, I realized I had forgotten about a class, and that I had been counted as absent. I thought, Well, now it'll just snowball down from here, and I'll start missing all kinds of classes. I walked past a young woman, maybe college age or a little older, who was the leader of this group of people out trimming the shrubs. We may have spoken for a moment. I then saw a few other women as I walked along. Two of the women were girlfriends. They both wore jeans and dark blue hoodies. One of the girls looked boyish and had short hair and pale skin. At some point I had decided that I was going to quit this work, which was now something like a volunteer position. I was in something like a dorm room. All the curtains were pulled down. I was either getting into or out of a pair of khaki work slacks for the office. I worried that the woman in charge of the project would be disappointed in me for quitting. Dream #2 I was in a dorm room that was full of stuff like manga books and anime DVDs. There was a TV somewhere, and I was trying to watch some kind of hentai anime. But there was something wrong somewhere in my dorm room. I couldn't quite pinpoint it, but it sounded like a problem with the water. It was really distracting. I was about to walk out of the dorm room. But as I opened the door to the hallway, I saw two young men, both kind of tall and fat, one Asian. I tried to close my door really quickly, because I didn't want the boys to see me or know that I had been trying to watch a porn anime. But one of the boys saw me and greeted me cheerfully. Somehow the boys came to understand my problem. Apparently I had come outside to find out where the water problem was coming from. The Asian boy, who I actually didn't know, knew exactly what to do. We went to the dorm next door from me, which was unoccupied. There was a toilet in the dorm. The Asian boy jiggled the handle and the water noise stopped. As I was walking out of the empty dorm room, leaving the boys in the room, I thanked the Asian boy. He explained something to me, as if he were experienced with noise or plumbing. Dream #3 I had come back to "my psychatrist's office," which was a lot bigger and messier than IWL. I had apparently not been able to fill out some kind of form before, because I couldn't remember the words to a Japanese pop song. When I'd first come back to the office, it had been empty. But then my psychiatrist was there. I was really proud of myself as I told her I remembered the words again. I tried to fill out the form, while standing before a table that was full of clutter. But some other woman kept edging under me, trying to get to some waste basket under the desk so she could clean it out. I eventually let the woman through and apologized. She said something nice. The room now was more like a psychiatrist's office. It had a couch and a chair, and it felt very calm. But it was still really big. I sat down with my brother and sister on the couch. My psychiatrist asked, "So you can remember the words to the song now?" I said yes and tried to start singing. But I was already forgetting the words. I was now on the opposite side of the room from the couch, which seemed so far away. My brother and sister were gettin bored with hearing me try to sing. They got up and left. I was eventually sitting either very close to or on the arm of my psychiatrist's chair. I was still trying to sing the song, only haltingly getting through bits of lyrics. Something about iit may have had the "aeru no ii na" lyrics from L'arc en Ciel's "My Heart Draws a Dream."
Dream - Lucid - AP I was in a dorm room, and I had apparently moved to that one from an old one. My friends had already set up my stuff around my bed. All I really had to do was put my sheets and blankets on the bed. I remember Caitlin being one of my roommates, but I can't remember who the other one was. I also remember seeing all these dolls scattered around the room. They were actually more like female figurines than dolls. They were there for decorative purposes. I started moving them around, placing them in different places, trying to figure out which ones should go around which roommate; seeing which ones fit best with their personalities. I remember there also being a water bed in the room. It was the biggest of the 3 beds, a full-size. Mine and the other one were twin-sized beds. The other roommate said something about it being nasty and moldy, because the water had been sitting in it for so long. Around the edges it looked kind of gross too. I remember Caitlin coming in and laying on it, but laying under her own covers as opposed to the covers already on the bed. I thought it was gross, and I felt like she should have been grossed out about it. I was going to ask her why she took that one, but then I remembered that no one else wanted it either, and the other 2 beds were already taken. I then remember seeing some more figurines sitting on a side table by my bed. They were Peanuts figurines. I vividly remember Marcy and Snoopy being two of them. I took those two figurines and placed them side by side on a coffee table by Caitlin's bed. Both the figurines then looked like they were sliding on their stomachs. They had their eyes closed. Someone commented on how they looked good there. I also have notes in my journal about there being a movie on the TV in the dorm about a suicidal hit man, but for the life of me, I can't remember what went on. I vaguely remember that part of the dream. I also remember talking to a lady with heart-shaped irises. The colors in her eyes looked marbled; the colors were a honey-yellow and a dark green. I thought about my dream with Hyu, but then dismissed my current situation to be waking life (dammit). ~ I was at an indoor pool. There were a few other people there. I saw a big, beautiful butterfly flying out to the water. I pointed the butterfly out to whoever I was talking to. Its wings looked like silk; the top was a light purple, the middle a light green, and the bottom an off-white. It landed on the water. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the butterfly had a female human head and face. I still called her a butterfly, but now, I can see that she was much more like a fairy. She had a small hat on as well, that looked like it was part of a flower. She swam in the water of the pool, keeping her wings out of the water. I then remember seeing her all the way in the water, wings and all. I hoped that didn't impair her ability to fly. She got out of the water, and asked a man for a towel. When she got out of the pool, I saw she had a whole human-like body, though she was quite small. Then, my brother was trying to get a snake out of the pool with a net. I commented on this, saying that I had seen the snake earlier. He got it out. He walked over to me, and I looked at it. It was a green snake, and wasn't poisonous. It opened it's mouth, exposing its fangs, and hissed. My brother tried to pick it up out of the net, but got bit. He kept getting bit, and I could tell he was in pain, but he was determined to pick the snake up out of the net. I kept telling him to stop. He finally got ahold of its head, so it couldn't open its mouth to bite. ~ I was sitting at my family's electric piano that we have in waking life. My brother was sitting there with me. He switched the sound setting to 'strings', and held down a note in the higher range. As he held it down, I started to hear sound effects. How had we not discovered this before? He held down another high note, and "Marche Slave" by Tchaikovsky started to play. We played that song in high school in waking life. I got excited, and pointed out that it was "Marche Slave", but I could tell that people around us were getting annoyed. I experimented with some notes in the lower range, and then stopped. Then, I was moving in with a man who frequents the coffee shop who has a history of severe depression in waking life. Tabita, a girl I work with, was moving out. She was explaining to me some things about moving, about what to do and expect. I then remember waking up in bed at his house, but I was sleeping in a separate bed from the customer. I was trying to remember whether or not I had to work that day, then remembered it was Thursday, and I don't work on Thursdays. I wanted to sleep in some more, but I got up. I saw the customer's bed in the next room. I then remember sitting at the kitchen table with the customer. His hair was an absolute mess, and he was wearing a dirty white undershirt. He started to talk to me about his morning routine, and work and such. I was thinking to myself that I was going to have to be careful, and deal with his depression very carefully.

I am at a building and I have just received a letter. It is a company offering me a job because they are so impressed with my piece, "Dance of Dreams". I am excited. I walk out of the building into a grassy area and I find myself in a grocery store with my mom. I see my marching band director, Mr. Decker, and show him the letter. He says "Good job". Later, in the checkout, I show the letter to my mom. She is delighted. The checkout comes to $700. I then find myself in a dorm that is apparently for my high school even though it is not a boarding school. I am visiting. I walk down a hall to a place where a bunch of people are sitting I see one of my friends, standing, and I talk to him. I notice that sitting in the group of about six or seven people, is my crush. I say "hi" and awkwardly move to the end of the hallway where it turns right. At the end of the next hall there is an open door and I see another friend from high school. He says he has to get a shower but we should get lunch later. I agree, then go to the next room which is mine. I examine the letter again. It has a lot of information about my piece including the key which was listed as D ( it is really Eb ) as well as the solfege progression, all in the some table. It had then turned to being a college asking me to transfer which I am quite disgusted by as I love Millersville and would not transfer. I decided I would turn them down. The dream ends.
My roommate was replaced with a guy named Alex. He had a black cat named Sylvester. We didn’t talk to each other much at first. One night, as I was trying to fall asleep, I heard Alex murmuring in his bed. He had a stuffed lion in his arms. I knew it was named Simba because he frequently talked to it during the day… The next day, he accidentally spilled a whole container of bleach on my bed, so I helped him clean it. I joked about him doing it on purpose. He also accidentally dropped a bag of chips behind the bed. I refused to pick them up. The residents of the connecting room, Sandy and Tyler, knew Alex from high school. They were dating. They hardly ever came over to our side of the suite, but Alex frequently went downtown with them to parties. Alex had to go somewhere, so I decided to take the initiative to clean up our messy room. I finally disposed of the bag of chips. It was empty… I wondered where the chips had gone. I also washed a bunch of dishes by hand in the bathroom. They weren’t my dishes, but I was still worried someone would be mad that I didn’t dry them off and put them away. Standing in the doorway between our bathroom and the other room, I gave Tyler a creepy stare. He was watching the History Channel. Confused and a little concerned by my weird smile, he explained that he never goes to class on Mondays. He always just watched the History Channel to learn things. I wondered if I should be doing that… Apparently, I was in the same history class. Tyler had to use Alex’s computer for something, so he came over to our room. Shortly after, we heard pained whispers behind the door. “Help me…” a voice wailed. “Just a second,” called Tyler. The whine repeated. I realized the door was already cracked open. Alex poked his head in. “Wow, it’s just Alex… Prick.” “You know you love me!” he laughed. Alex was amazed by how clean the room was. He started looking for his chips. “I threw them away,” I explained. He reached into the trash, pouting. “But floor chips are the best kind of chips…” “Well, no one’s been eating said floor chips, so…” Alex looked up at me with a raised eyebrow. “Dude, Sylvester’s been snacking on those for like a day!” “Really?!” I was surprised I didn’t notice… “Dude! You ate my donut?” Alex asked Tyler. “Yeah… What of it?” replied Tyler. “Nothing, just saying…” He stared sadly at the half-eaten donut in the trash can. I sensed that he was considering eating it. I decided to go to the bathroom, and Sylvester followed me in. The cat started unrolling the toilet paper while I was urinating, so I sent him away. Then he hopped in the toilet itself – before I could flush down my waste. “This cat is psycho…” I flushed it with Sylvester inside the bowl, hoping he was too big to get stuck. The cat ended up with his head and front paws sticking out of the bottom of the bowl. He was soaking wet and could hardly pull himself out… He managed, though. After shaking off his back feet, he trotted back into the room. Alex cracked up when he saw what had happened to Sylvester. I secretly wondered if the cat could talk… Tyler and I discovered a stuffed warthog that played recorded sounds. Although it takes us a minute, we realized they were all recordings made by Alex when he was a kid. He had kept this since he was a child.
Good morning everybody. This dream definitely ended around 1 AM. I had gone to bed at about 9:30 PM. Although the end of this dream is very interesting (by my standards -- my dreams are tame compared to the others on this site!), and although it seems pretty spontaneous, I feel it was actually influenced by waking life -- namely by the part in Emiko's dream from yesterday where the boy tells her his name is Thomas. Dream #1 I was in an apartment. Some stuff here happened that I no longer remember. A young, pretty, and somehow motherly woman then told me something about how the doors of the apartment were open. This meant something like I would now be able to get back into the apartment, whereas before, I think, once I'd gone out I couldn't come back. The woman asked me to go pick up some kind of food. I left the apartment. It was night. The apartment was a two-story building with outdoor balconies connecting the second story apartments. The area around the apartment felt like it was under construction or like it had been neglected or destoyed. I think I was now planning to ask my cousin for the food the young woman had requested. I crossed the street to where my cousin lived. The building was a "college dorm," but it actually looked like a military living space for in the desert. It was long, half-cylindrical, and painted green. I was now inside. The space was like a small supply warehouse. The floors were concrete. The space was lit by lamps hanging from the ceiling. There were a lot of young men around. They were largely congregating toward the back of this structure, where there was a big TV. This was the first day of something like college or an extended trip that these guys were taking during college. The guys had all just settled into their dorms. Along the left and right walls were doorways leading to a bedroom. Each boy had a bedroom. Beside each doorway was a small kitchenette and a small washer-dryer combo. I had a hard time telling whether each boy had his own kitchenette, washer, and dryer, or whether two rooms each shared one set. I either couldn't tell or didn't wonder where the bathrooms were. I knew that I also had a room here. But I figured I'd probably continue living in the apartment. The boys all seemed cool. But I had a feeling that if I lived around them too long, I'd attract their bad attention and make a bad situation for myself. I wondered if I had food of my own in the kitchenette that belonged to me. But I didn't concern myself with checking. I knew I'd come here to find my cousin. I found my cousin at the back of the structure, near the TV. He may have looked like a kid. We spoke for a little while. We were then met by a boy my cousin introduced me to as C, a boy from my cousin's neighborhood. C, who had been short, thin, and pale as a kid, was now tall, tan, and muscular. I was surprised to find myself attracted to him. I heard some noise in waking life that began to wake me from my dream. But I still lay in a dream state. I had a vision of three figures. They looked like "little girl in dress" figures cut out of felt and made to interlock. One figure was black; one, grey; and one, white. I very sensibly heard the figures speaking. They spoke in male and female voices. They were talking about how they had been dream characters but how, now that the dream was ending, they were going back to some place where they spent the rest of their time. They were speaking with each other in a joking, familiar tone about the stuff they had shown me during my dream. One of the female voices addressed another character as David. The name David affected me for a number of reasons, which I was very aware of, having to do with both family members and big world events that had happened when I was young. I had the understanding that these characters were actually elements of my personality, and that at this moment they were all autonomous to interact with each other, apart from me. It was kind of like being able to look in from the outside on a schizophrenic episode, which kind of worried me. I could now sense the characters sinking away somewhere, possibly into the base of my brain, or the very top of the back of my neck. I now had a beautiful hypnagogic vision: a black background filled with twirling squares and circles, curtains full, of purple, scale-like shapes. This vision buzzed around for a while, then faded away into waking life altogether.
The dream starts off with me leaving what seems to be like my dorm room. Even though there are two sets of bunk beds, only the bottom bed of one of them seems to be occupied. This one seems to be mine since I recognize my stuff near it and on it. I leave the room for a while and my dream either time skips or I can't remember this part, but then I'm suddenly walking back into my room. There's some girl I don't know lying on my bed and another girl on the bed above her, and all my stuff is thrown randomly on the other side of the room. I quickly get angry with this girl on my bed and ask her what she thinks she's doing, that that was MY bed. We easily get in an argument over the situation as I start looking for my stuff. I'm furious at this point, because I can't find anything of mine including my cellphone and my iPod. Then I notice that even all the drawers of my dresser are pulled out and that this girl is wearing one of my shirts, so we begin arguing over that as well. Frustrated and not knowing what else to do, I leave the room to go find some management because I don't feel like I was supposed to be sharing my room in the first place. I find administration, and they tell me that my stuff was never on that bed and that I should stop being so worked up over it. After this, I wake up from my dream.
--- The dream fades in very faintly. I leave my dorm room and head towards the lecture halls in search of a bathroom. Turning in towards an open door, I notice the room is filled with students and their parents sitting and socializing as though the class hadn't yet begun. I walk to the back of the room, where the teacher is seated, shuffling through papers. "Mind if I use the bathroom?" I ask. He looks me in the eye and asks me straight out if I am stoned. Immediately I respond, "How about I pee on your face?" The room fills with laughter as I explain to the instructor's shocked face "If you have no problem asking if I am stoned in front of an entire classroom, then you certainly shouldn't have a problem with me asking to pee on your face." At this, he stands up and directs to the corner of the room where we meet with my friend Victoria. He proceeds to ask me a series of questions to determine if I would be a suitable candidate for his advanced music classes. For the first question he asked me to identify the significance of a several sets of numbers divided by colons. Victoria tries to answer in my place, but the teacher glares at her. I answer, time signatures. The second question he asks is more of a riddle than a question. "What is an abused ukulele?" "A cello!" He seemed thoroughly impressed and dismisses his class and myself. I walk back to my dorm room and run into my in-dream neighbor. In order to open our locked doors we must fuck them, as though the keyhole is a vagina and my penis is the key. It feels great and we both continue to fuck our keyholes for several minutes, never climaxing. I open to door to find a gigantic mess of puke and blood. The door and room are the size of a crawlspace, but in a desperate panic to save my roommate I crawl in until I realize he isn't inside. I look out the door and see him half asleep under a bed in the common area. ---
