    1. Met my dream guide; Flew hand in hand with my husband

      by , 07-06-2015 at 10:07 AM
      7/6/15 12:54 am

Tonight I went to bed before my husband to try to fix my sleeping schedule by going to bed early. I had a dream, which I don't remember, then went right to bed to trigger a lucid dream through dream chaining. I told myself over and over again I wanted to dream of my husband. And I did.

      Lucid MILD, WBTB, Dream Chaining

I dreamed we had a shared dream and I was showing him how to control his dream. We flew together hand in hand. Saw Conan live. Visited a herd of "Mittens" (my cat who passed away recently), one of them bit me. It hurt. I wasn't bothered by it, and found it quite funny. The herd of Mittens was in my mother's backyard.

I woke up in my dream and my husband agreed we had a shared dream, but then proceeded to tell me I was Sailor Moon in his dream, which made me realize we didn't share dreams. He described his dream totally differently. Note: I'm still dreaming.

Then, I see this white stuffed animal on a chair who's talking to me in a squeaky voice. I don't remember the conversation. At first, I didn't trust him. I told him to go away. But all of the sudden I realized what he was saying. I told him, in different words, but essentially this "You're my dream guide." And he said yes (I think, or something affirming what I said) and jumped in my arms to give me a hug. Then I woke up when my husband got in bed in waking life.

I used a different word for dream guide in my dream, but don't remember what.

He was definitely different than all my dream characters, with a sense of his own agency. Even different than my dream husband, who was just responding to what I did. I think I didn't trust him at first because he seemed to have his own agency.

I almost feel like my dream guide and I were speaking on a different level, like in code. We knew what we meant, even though it wasn't in clear English.

This was definitely the best dream I've had with my husband. We were flying hand in hand! And that was amazing. I've flown hand in hand with one other dream character before, in my first successful flying dream. I asked him what my middle name was and he said Windy, then took my hand, proceeding to fly with me in the air. I've been able to fly in my dreams ever since, and this moment flying with my husband was definitely reminiscent on my first flying dream. I was rusty flying, since I haven't triggered a lucid dream in a while (only accidental ones) and had to relearn how to fly, only this time it was me who took my husband's hand to show him, rather than a dream character showing me.

When I was trying to fly, at first it wasn't successful. I'd keep trying to jump from higher levels of ground to lower levels, on a hilly area with grass and patches of dirt. The area is around my mother's house, down the road near a foresty area.

There was a point in the dream we were on a train, before the flying scene, taking to other dream characters.

Connected to my mom's backyard is an acquaintance's house. It's supposed to be my mom's, and I felt like it was my mom's, but at the same time this person's house. We went into his room and saw an anime poster. There was a "mom figure" there that was supposed to be my mom, but wasn't my mom in waking life. She was worried about me, but I told her this is all just a dream so not to worry. I showed my husband how to control the dream further by saying "clearer" and "brighter", controlling my dream world to become clearer and brighter.

In a sense, the dream started off with me being the dream guide for my dream husband, then finding my own dream guide. I really hope to see him again! I haven't been searching for a dream guide, but have been hoping to have a repeated dream character that has a sense of self and grows with each lucid dream. So perhaps this is a manifestation of that desire. Certainly not what I expected! A stuffed animal as my dream guide. I'm so excited by this.

This dream started off, I believe, as non-lucid. Though I don't remember the point exactly I became lucid. My husband and I were watching Roku together, and then went to see Conan live. When we watched Conan on Roku, he had his typical blue background, but live everything was white and the show was supposed to be a new Conan show, called Live with Conan. There was this mean producer lady, who was playing tricks on me. I think that was the point I became lucid, because something about her just gave off that she was a dream character. Conan later sat with me and my husband in the audience and apologized for her actions.

    2. Alien Eyes / Smell TOTM

by , 05-13-2015 at 12:35 AM (Xanous' Dream Journal)
      #435 - WILD - 4:15AM

I did a WBTB coffee (2tbsp coffee grounds + 1tbsp sugar) at 4AM. Chug and and crash focusing on WILD.

I quickly recognize the usual sensations but it hard to get out. I realize I need some stimuli and the first thing I think of is sex. During the enjoyment, I notice a very young girls is sleeping next to me in the same bed while some woman is riding me. I begin to feel awkward and want to get away. I notice that I am deep enough in the dream now, so I push the woman off and mutter, "That's enough."

I easily stand up and wonder into the bathroom. I have an embarrassing situation that I try to ignore so I look into the mirror to distract me. My face distorts and I now have large aliens eyes. Instead of the deep black associated with gray's, I have white glowing light like my eye are made of some sort of reflective material. I marvel at the glowing light from within for a second and then decide to try playing with the mirror a bit. It looks really dirty witch is distracting but it seems like there is a different room past my reflection. I press my face into the glass and it stretches like soft rubber. I pull back and try to focus on something in the background, hoping to fall in, but I suddenly wake up.

      #436 - DEILD -5:08AM

Having realize that only 15 minutes passed since I drank coffee, I decide it can't have kicked in much though I feel mildly stimulated. I relax focusing on my face as I body awareness meditation and quickly pass out.

There is something about my brother visiting my house. Me setting at table telling myself that I am dreaming, but not caring much. Maybe I thought I had it under control, but lucidity slips away. After talking with my brother, I decide it's time to lay down for WILD.

I am in a room eating white grapes with a small boy. Then try to eat something like a grape, but rock hard. The dream fades to darkness, but I hear a voice telling me to hold me focus and wait (meaning DEILD).

I have WILD sensations, but I am able to blindly get up. I jump around to stimulate my dream body. It feels super odd. I begin to float so I open my eyes. I am now standing in the room again. There is trash everywhere and the little boy is just looking at me. He gives me a grape and I taste it. Bland. I recall the smell TOTM and quickly search the floor. I spot a banana peel, pick it up, and give it a good sniff. Nothing. I try again breathing deeper, but now I am too aware of my physical body. I remember breath is the only connection to waking world. I stop and try an orange peel that's near the spot where I found the banana. It has a mild, undefinable scent. I now recall my monster TOTM and tap the boy's elbow. "Common!", I say as I start to look for a bed. I wake up.

    3. Several Mini Lucids - Feb 13, 2015

      by , 03-17-2015 at 02:54 AM
This was a very fun, lucid night, full of dream signs, but I kept on waking way to soon due to the excitement of it all.

I was sitting at a dining room beside my mother in-law (who passed in Y2001), and she was holding a baby. Instantly, I became lucid, and asked, “Mom, is that you?” She nodded and held up the baby, so I gave both the baby, and my mother in-law, a kiss on the cheek. I asked whose baby this is, and she replied, “It’s Cathy and William’s!” (I’m not sure if I remembered William’s name correctly). Dear mom smiled at me, and then the dream started to fade, so I swirled to no avail.

In this next lucid dream, I was sitting on a concrete deck at the back of someone’s home, with a bunch of friends, and a jet flew by with the left engine on fire. This was certainly very odd, so I questioned myself if I was dreaming or not? I tried to fly, and I could! Lucid again! Yay! The jet plane was coming down for a crash landing behind some tall buildings, way off in the distance, and I wanted to see what happened next. My instinct was to quickly fly straight up so I could see over the tall buildings, but I entered the clouds and I lost site of the jet. Suddenly, 3 or 4 dream figures flew up beside me (not sure who). I still wanted to see the jet plane crash, so I flew straight down at high speed to exit the clouds, but I went way too fast and crashed head first into the ground beside an apartment block! Then I slowly rose to my knees, but my vision was gone from my right eye (I probably flattened my head). A tall dream figure landed beside me and helped me stand up. He looked totally shocked when he looked me in the eye. My vision faded and then I woke.

In this 3rd lucid dream I was sitting at the dinner table with my son and daughter. When I saw my daughter I instantly became lucid (she passed in 2013). I said, “Daughter, it’s great to be with you!”, and then I turned to my son, and said, “You too!” I got so excited about seeing my daughter that I woke.

I entered this 4th dream perfectly lucid, and I was kayaking down a river with my dream guide. The river was about 100 yards wide, small waves, a thick green, forest to the right, and a grassy park area to the left. I simply appeared there out of nowhere. My dream guide looked at me and said, “Isn’t it amazing how real dreams are?” I looked at him and happily replied, “Exactly!” It certainly was very real looking, and I was really taken back by the moment and then I woke.
    4. DJ#17: 'One lucid please' *Dream Guide included*

by , 02-19-2015 at 05:45 PM (BlairBros' Adventures)
YEAH! My first properly lucid dream in aaaages, well sorta. I'm not to sure how to describe it, but I wasn't fully lucid, and my dream control abilities sucked, but I definitely knew I was dreaming. I also (pretty sure) got to talk with my dream guide for the first time . This is my only lucid whic hadn't ended within 30 seconds, yet this was also probably my lucid with the least 'explosive' awareness, it was more of a different kind of awareness, not sure if there's a link there but I will investigate.

The dream started with me in bed, and even though it felt real I decided to d a reality check, and surprise surprise I suddenly realized I was dreaming. I kept on telling myself I'm dreaming I'm dreaming etc and I looked at my hands in a bit of an effort to stabilize my dream. I was surprised by how real the dream seemed, and since my lucidity wasn;t very high I had to continually affirm to myself I was dreaming. I realized the light level was really low so I tried yelling out 'more light' and 'more lucidity' but it didn't really do much. I remembered the 'memory: forgotten fundamental' thread a little bit and I tried to remember where I was sleeping and in what house, and It seemed t come to me easily, but in retrospect I remembered the wrong house. I remembered the house which the dream was taking place (my mum's house) not where I was sleeping currently (my dad's house) hehe. I decided to go on dreamviews (idk why lol, wasn't very lucid hehe) and I saw a thread about something or other nd I posted about the dream I was having (again weird , may have lost some lucidity here). In response a guy gave me some advice. I then got the inkling he was my dream guide, so I asked him what my real name was and whether he was my dream guide (a big goal for me), but he replied that although yes he was my dream guide (!!!) I had to wait for my true name. I was a bit disappointment at that, and I think I lost some lucidity here as well as I browsed some other threads on DV.
The interesting thing with my DG though was I'm not sure whether I was talking to him in person or he was putting video responses on my DV posts or what, as although I'm sure I read his responses I could see him as well saying them. I could see a badger man (person with big badger head and badger fur/claws etc. instead of hands) wearing a creamy old style cap, red sweater vest and white shirt and pants playing golf.
After this I was back sitting in my bed, and I decided t give another go at a bit of dream control. I realized how long the dream had gone and I thought I wanted to end it soon, so I tried willing that to happen, didn't work. I spun around but that didn't do much, then I jumped over backwards and that did the trick, except instead of waking me up it just ended the dream and my lucidity. My last thought was about remembering my dream, but I think what I did counteracted this as I know I've forgotten a fair amount of this dream
Ps. On a side note for some reason during the dream I 'remembered' that I had had a mini LD last night as well which I had woken straight up to, which I'm pretty sure didn't happen as I remembered about 5 fragments from last night and I doubt I had that mini LD but who knows, maybe I forgot it.

    5. Levitating my Wife

      by , 12-03-2014 at 04:39 AM
I’m on a bit of dry spell right now, so I’ll describe this lucid dream from July 27, 2014. In this dream, seeing my ‘Dream Guide’ actually made me lucid. Btw, this dream figure hasn’t been around much lately. My dream guides now seem to be mostly family and close friends.

After I became lucid, I decided to show my wife how I could levitate a pencil while lucid. I think this was the first time I actually levitated something in my 40 plus years of LD’s. I had recently read about this LD skill, and decided to give it a go. You know, up until recently, I had little knowledge about what was actually possible during a LD (thanks mostly to Dreamviews). Any who, my wife wasn’t very impressed with my new LD skill. My Dream Guide stood there intently watching. I then asked my wife to lie down on the coffee table, and she did. I levitated her 1 foot off the table, and then she wouldn’t go any higher. She still wasn’t impressed, and then I tried even harder. She floated almost to the ceiling! A vertical glass tube, about 2 ½ feet in diameter, and 7 foot tall, appeared to the left of me. How or why, I had no idea. I then instant transported my wife from levitating to standing upright inside the glass tube. Yup, you guessed it; she still wasn’t impressed (even though I was). I was aware of the ‘instant transport’ technique, because I can do that to myself while lucid, but I’ve never tried it, up until this point, to somebody else. I just think, “I’m there!”, and then I instantly transport from point A to point B. Next, I decided to levitate my wife out of the glass tube, but there wasn’t enough clearance between the ceiling and the top of the glass tube, so I asked my Dream Guide to tilt the glass tube over, and he did. I then floated my wife out of the tube and placed her gently, feet down, on the floor. At this point I forgot I was dreaming, and continued on with the adventure in a non-lucid state.

    6. Fire And Ice

by , 10-25-2014 at 05:47 PM (Xanous' Dream Journal)
      #373 - DILD - 12:11AM

I went to bed around 10pm after watching Grimm and Constantine so I was really prepared to enjoy some crazy dreams and hoped for a DILD ( I think this dream was more inspired by "The Last Airbender"). I was a little shocked how early this LD happened, though this seems to happen a lot, it's just a matter of recall. Unfortunately, my recall is full of holes and lucidity was low for the most part. Some possible chemical influences: I enjoyed a 40 oz of Mickey's stretched throughout the evening. I also took a Zyrtec and used some Veramyst nasal spray for my horrendous allergy problem that I currently experiencing. gahhhh!

Another thing to explain the content of the dream is that I have been doing some recreational reading on erowid.

I have taken an abusive but fairly low dose of Dextromethorphan Hbr (100mg). I see what I think of as tracers and some mild distortions of reality. The experience is fairly enjoyable but I have some nervous twitches and body jerks that I try to hide and only allow myself to experience when I am alone. I have some conversation with a dream character and wonder off.

I begin to feel really sleepy now and almost consider taking another dose of DXM but decide that would be really dangerous. I eventually lay down someplace and fall asleep.

I have a dream inside the dream. This is were my memory has gaps. I am involved in some story line about a young man that has ice powers. I see him and my son on a carpet gliding over a snowy landscape and seamlessly crossing over land water/ice. They seem to be in awe but this is nothing new to me.

I have a moment of lucidity here. I show some female DC how they are gliding over water and ice. I walk out into the ice but it breaks. It feel cold at first but I generate some heat in my body to feel warm. Then I use some ice power to re-freeze the water. I step on it but it breaks right away. The young man (who looks a lot like the helper in "Waterbending #2) comes to aid me. He freezes the water while I am in it and then pulls me out. I have ice encases on my legs and it looks like knee-high boots made of ice. I marvel at this for a moment and then feel the dream slipping away. I am not sure what to do other than look at the boy and focus on him visually. My concentration wavers.

Now I am talking to my wife like it was all a movie or TV series that we have been watching. I spoke as if it was my story but portrayed by actors. I mention something how they stuck really close to what actually happened. I told her that I might really be "The Drac", meaning the dragon. I talk about how ice doesn't bother me and I can generate high amounts of heat with Chi energy.

      *huge memory gap*

I am somehow lucid again and talking to the DreamGuide/Avatar. I can't recall the actual conversation but I have a gist of what was said. I talked about our powers. I ask him something... I think I wanted his name. He says something and I respond, "This IS a dream but go on."
He says something really profound but in a confusing way. I sum up what he was trying to say in one sentence. He responded like he was impressed with me but also annoyed. I worry that I will forget what he said but I feel confident that I will remember my summary of it so I let it go. I am really excited about whatever he told me and anxious to write it all down.(I am so pissed I don't remember this! )

We enjoy some using some fire and ice magic together though I don't recall much of this. My fire magic never produced flame; just high amounts of heat that melted ice. I should explore this again.

*memory gap* (or just non lucid)

Lucid again. Trying to focus on the dream so I won't wake up. I wake up.
    7. Boating, Army, school, and annoying Dream Guide (LD #13)

      by , 10-20-2014 at 02:09 AM (Sharpshoey's Lucid Journey)
The dreams happened the morning of 10-17-14

      Dream 1
I was at a lake boating with my family. I was on my uncle's boat and my aunt brought another boat and they tide a rope between the two boats. People went tight rope walking across. Then my uncle took me tubing and he was going really fast. All the sudden, I went flying into the air, the tube went with me. I somehow wasn't scared and when I landed it didn't hurt or jolt me like I thought it would. The tube stopped next to land and I was next to a girl who's sister I was dating (in the dream). I was cheating with her on her sister and she said, "I can't believe you uncle fell for that trick." I realized then that I had unhooked the tube as my uncle was in a turn so I'd go flying.

      Dream 2
I am in the army and B, K, and L are there with me. We are going into battle and I am scared. I am about to go but B, K, and L go before me so I'm the last to go. I feel like a wimp because two girls went before me. When I got to the battlefield, it was already cleared out because the groups before us, who were upperclassmen, already took care of them. I was glad I was younger. I then figure out it was actually a practice course. There is a lake and a cabin on the other side and everyone is wading into the lake. Then we are all camping in the mountains and I find a bomb in my bag. I am very observant and I notice every little detail and others notice that about me so they want me to get the bomb turned off. I end up figuring out the bomb is just a fake to scare people.

      Dream 3
I am in English class and I'm not paying attention. I never have a clue what is going on and I'm not doing the class work we are supposed to be doing. M is next to me and I call a guy buttery or something as a joke. Everyone laughs and says that's really gay. I am worried because I have no clue what we are supposed to be doing in the class.

      Dream 4
I go into my mom's room and I say I'm going ot bed. I ask what time it is and I look at the clock. The time is in fractions so I just ask my mom. My mom said just to add them together and said the clock wasn't really working. I didn't want to, I just wanted to know the time so I looked at other clocks. A bunch of clocks said different times so I went to my room and looked on my Ipod. It said it was 5:00. I knew it had to be later than that and then I looked and it was a time for a different country. I finally thought this was weird and I did a nose-plug RC. I wasn't that surprised that I was dreaming. I went outside (it was now daytime) and my brother came and started throwing cardboard knives with tape on them at me. (in my last lucid DC's started attacking me too) I thought they were dangerous. I ran down my street. told myself my Dream Guide would be in a certain house because those people had moved and he ended up buying it. (IWL the people are moving) I ring the doorbell and step inside. There is a small Chinese guy and his wife is sitting on a stool to the right. His wife says something. I ask if he's my Dream Guide and he says yes. I don't know whether to ask him to teach me to fly or how to get LD's and I shake his hand. I want to ask him how to fly, but he takes me to his kitchen. I look back and my brother is outside the door, looking mad. D and P are sitting on some chairs in a circle. My brother is invited inside too and stares at me but doesn't attack. We are having a meeting, and my "Dream Guide" (not sure if he actually is because I lost lucidity because of him) says to do something, (speak maybe? I'm not sure) you have to make him laugh. I was mad because I just wanted to be taught how to fly. (I think I lost lucidity) The others were telling hilarious stories and I was worried because I suddenly couldn't think of anything funny.

      10/18/14
I couldn't recall any dreams because I was woken up super early and even if I had remembered some dreams, it wouldn't of mattered because I wouldn't of had any time to write them down.

      #371 - DILD - 2:31AM (October 18)

I had to make a quick trip to east Texas with my wife and three kids for some family business. We got the cheapest double-bed room we could find which led to a very uncomfortable night of sleep. Luckily, my recall was crazy with the multiple awakenings and I scored a short LD for the win. I intended to get lucid that night and set the goal of exploring the other rooms in the motel but I missed my task.

I woke up around 2:15am with no recall and fell back to sleep with LD on my mind. There was no real technique but maybe a weak MILD that quickly led into the experience below.

I notice some SP-like sensations and quickly have an in-dream-WILD. I exit briefly taking some sheets with me and leaving my sleeping wife behind. I exit a door to the right and find myself in my ex-in-laws' house. For some reason, I think this is were I was spending the night and thought nothing of it.

In the living room, I see my younger daughter curled up asleep on the couch. I creep near her to try to scare her. Always having the possibility of literal AP on my mind, I wonder if I am affecting waking life. This may terrorizer her but I would have some proof when I wake up (What an ass!). However, when I am over her I notice I have accidentally made myself look horrific with long claws on my hands and dark grey skin. I pause and change my intentions, because at the same time, I notice my daughter looks completely angelic with glowing white skin. When I take a closer look, she has beautiful yet inhumanly blue eyes as she sleepily peers up at me. I am a little dazed and confused by this and all I can think to do is mutter and kind 'hey' before I aimlessly wander off.

I venture out the front door and see an unfamiliar grey car outside in the driveway. I notice I can't see who's inside because there is a reflection of the daylight and shadows from the trees. Curious, I poke my head through the passenger side glass. My ex wife is sitting in the driver seat staring straight head with both hands on the wheel. She doesn't seem to notice me and is a complete lifeless "extra". I'm not sure what to do with this so I say the first random thing I can think of. In my best Jesse Pinkman impersonation (had be been a LDer and not a meth-head), I say, "Lucid dreaming... bitch." .

Now, I just want to get away from this area so I run down the street toward my side of town. There is a large birch/palm tree hybrid growing in the middle of the street and I run up it without much thought. When I reach the top, the limbs are too much like palms to grab on too and I fall backward. I am able to defy gravity and lift myself forward in a set-ups motion but I still can't grab ahold of anything. This happens several times and the dream starts to become unstable. I suddenly, remember my goal for the night and the fact that I am actually sleeping in a motel in a small, crappy town in Texas. The dream fades to black with this thought and I try to visualize the exterior of the motel. It seems to be forming nicely, but unfortunately, I wake up because my son has now positioned himself on top of my head.

      NON-LUCIDS (brief)

      The future, Teleportation

My wife and I are in the future. There are cylinder shaped teleports the size of phone booths. We step and in some girl and her mom are right behind us. The girl makes faces at me and I try to tell her she will get hurt when we teleport. Suddenly a blue light comes down and I hear a sound. I look around and see the area has changed and we are outside a hospital. The girl and woman are fine. She says something mocking me. I tell my wife that I am going to remember all of this because it would be great to do this in a lucid dream. There is some version of The Doctor and I ask him many questions about the teleport. I wonder if it will work world-wide. He wouldn't answer any questions. I get mad and grab him. I wad him up in one hand put him into a video game screen at an arcade. I don't have quarters and I know my debit card wont work this far in the future.

      The future, Military
I try to unofficially slip in the ranks in some futuristic military. Everything goes fine until they want to micro chip me. I panic and try to use the excuse of religion but they aren't buying it. I wonder if maybe it will be ok for now and I will have it removed later. I know it will hurt because I'll have to do it myself.

Sleep outside, vicious dog turned friendly
I am trying to sleep in the back of a pickup. Some dog attacks me but I beat it and scream and growl at it. It yields an whimpers. Now it is tame and curls up in my bedding. I am pissed off and I throw it out and barricade the truck bed with plywood to keep it away.

      Dream
      Lucidity
      False Awakening

I woke up on a bed because I could hear the sound of a heavy breeze coming through an open window. The breeze sent printed pictures under the closed door to the outside of the room. I knew the breeze was telling me to go out of the room. I wondered why but all I wanted to do was go back to sleep. A powerful man's voice kept telling me I was dreaming, and that I had to go look at one of the rooms. I replied "I can't go back to the dream, it's already too late, I'm already awake." The voice replied, "You are in a dream; look at your watch," upon doing so, I realized that my watch looked normal except for the area where the date is shown was blank. I realized I was dreaming!
I calmed myself and stabilized the dream. The voice told me "Someone is waiting for you at the open door" I went out the room and down the hallway to the left. As I passed the open doors, they shut by themselves. In the third or fourth door, I saw some sort of cat run out the room. I tried talking to it but couldn't speak. I reached the end of the hallway, which opened up into a small room with an open window and very big vans outside. I turned around and saw an open door. The place was dark and I said "Light!", which made a flash of light appear. The area lit up for a few seconds. I entered a room with an open door. The room itself was a little dirty and dark. I noticed two beds and said "Light!", making the flash of light appear again. I saw a woman on one of the beds, which startled me. I walked towards what I saw was an older woman, around 50, wrinkles, but attractive, skinny and a darkish skin tone. We made introductions and she told me her name was Lisa, but that I could call her whatever I wanted. She was very vibrant and outgoing and she told me she was what I refer to as a 'Dream Guide'.
We chatted for a while and I eventually asked what the water in most of my dreams represented. She went on a long explanation about her being in prison and her being a native, and about a bear or something. I don't remember. I then asked her if the way I was woken up, with the wind, had any meaning. She smiled and said no. She started looking a lot older and my dream got blurry. I lost awareness and as I was waking up, Lisa told me I looked good at the grocery store.
    10. Lucid on Lucidimine

I've been on a bit of a lucid dry spell lately, so I decided to invest in a bottle of Lucidimine to see if it would have any affect on my dreams. Last night was the second night I took one capsule before bed, and I had success!

So, Lucidimine is a nootropic that contains two ingredients that I have read are both huge in aiding with having vivid dreams: Galantamine and Choline. Not to say a newbie to lucid dreaming could pop a pill and become aware, but this kind of thing works best with a lucid practice that you already have in place for yourself.

So... I met a girl. A girl with beauty that fully captured my attention. She was wearing summer clothes sitting in a knee-hugging position looking off into the distance. She looked at me with a warm smile and I locked eyes with her; a deep army green with shimmers of matte silver speckled in seamlessly. She gave me a laugh as if she has known me for along time, as I must have been looking at her with wide, awestruck eyes. I was content just looking at her, simply admiring her tranquil yet sharp beauty. Her ear lobes were abnormally large and circular with no earrings or holes.

The most striking physical aspect of her was a blue hole in her neck located where her jugular would cross through. It was a blue hole that I interpreted to be as some sort of breathing gill apparatus. I then asked her to describe herself to me, and what she said caught me off guard... She said "I have fourin-parents," as if her means of coming into existence was not the traditional mother-father way.

What the hell are "in-parents?" I still haven't decoded that part of it all, but I do believe I have found one of my spiritual guides.

      Ports and my DG
      Lucid #6

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I find myself in a beautiful setting. I am at a port at sunset. Everything is covered in an orange glow. I have the feeling of being chased but forget about it. I get lucid. I meet a mexican looking man, not like a real mexican but the stereotypical mexican dude. He tells me that he is my DG. I tell him to inform me everytime I am dreaming in order to get me lucid. I ask him if we are in my subconcious and he answer We are at a place!. I ask him if everything is safe and he tells me that there are dangerous thing who could watch us, but everything I get worried about is that they are gonna watch me have sex in my lucids

    12. Exploring a lucid dream

      by , 07-03-2014 at 03:29 AM
I entered a lucid dream using the WBTB method. I left my body after the sleep paralysis, and gazed outside my bedroom window. I could see red roses jutting out from my neighbours house and wild yellow flowers. They were very vibrant and sort of swishy looking like someone had painted them. I heard a voice tell me "this is all yours. This is your painting." Which exhilarated me way too much, and the dream started to fade. I started to spin. As my vision faded to white I imagined a grey fountain and let my dreaming mind fill in the rest. I was planted in a hell-ish looking place. The ground was red and looked like lava, the fountain completely empty and covered in ancient scribblings of some forgotten language. It was in the middle of the lava room. An old man walked towards me dressed in tattered brown clothes with a hood on. I told him, "Take me to meet your friends!" He took my hand. As we started to fly together, the dream scene melted into a deep forest. We flew past blurry trees (due to the insanely fast flying this guy was doing) and we ened up standing in front of a ginormous tree in a small clearing. There was a very long ladder leading up to a door (the entrance of the tree) The forest was illuminated by glowing blue light coming from absolutely no where, and it was absolutely breath taking! The tree was so saturated! A dark oreo brown with rich florescent blue leaves sprouting from the top, enough so that there was no sky to be seen. We entered the tree. The room was small width wise, but went on for ages horizontally. One wall was covered completely in doors, all set in top of each other going up the wall. Like you had to fly up to each door. There were roughly 6 people in there, a lot for a room so small, but it felt very cozy and warm. The inside bark walls were very smooth and almost shiny, and much lighter than the outside bark. It was a glowing golden color with lines of light brown streaking it. There were bunk beds on the floor and some jutting out from the walls, and book cases sunken into the walls. I told the man who brought me there "thank you for showing me this place" he said nothing back and disappeared through one of the doors. I sat down on one of the bunk beds with a kid in glasses, a button up white shirt and black dress pants. I asked him "do you know you are in my dream?" He gave me a weird look and replied, "of course" I then asked him "are you okay with it?" He looked confused. He said "I need to get back" and then the dream suddenly faded, I tried to spin but I ened up waking up! Wrote down every detail I could remeber in my dream journal, and kept the images alive throughout my day. I wonder if the guy with the glasses in my dream was me, saying I needed to wake up "get back". I definitely overslept! Got 10 hours last night, top notch.

Although this LD was short, it was a very unique experience and I'm excited to share it! Also, it was my first successful WILD

I woke up at 5:15 a.m., (which was fine, as I had intended for 5:30) did my standard set of RC's, and after deeming I was awake, attempted a WILD. Within a few minutes of laying still I felt vibrations and then I heard a sound as if both my ear drums had been pierced by a high-pressure stream of air. This air made a ringing whistle sound, and I got too excited. Then the noise faded away. So I tried again, and the noise and vibrations came back. Then I heard a voice say to me, "Stay calm just ignore the signs, you're almost in the dream."

In a few moments my dream eyes opened and I was lying on a couch in a dark apartment room. I stood up and noticed in the corner to my left, a bizarre looking man was lying on a large crate smiling at me. I suppose in waking life he would have been extremely creepy, even borderline terrifying, but I instinctively knew that he was the one that told me to be calm and helped me get into the dream. He had jet-black skin and was bald and had a cartoonishly large mouth and then he spoke to me again. "Explore this apartment while you can, your REM cycle is almost over." So I walked around taking in the realism of the dream but in a few moments
I woke up into what would turn into a FA, but I didn't recognize it.

    14. Dream Guide Meeting

by , 05-22-2014 at 12:35 PM (Schmaven's Dream Journal of Randomness)
I'm in a room and see a door in front of me. I remember having just rolled over in my bed so I know I'm dreaming. Everything starts to fade slightly, like when I stand up too fast after sitting for too long, but I just use my other senses to get around like when it happens in real life until it passes. Then I get the idea to say "Where is my dream guide?" and immediately I see a beautiful girl in the doorway and make eye contact with her. I just sense that she is my dream guide, and don't think to ask if she is or not. All of the sudden, I'm standing on the ceiling, and am really disoriented because everything is now upside down. She walks over and we give each other a big upside down hug (first upside down hug for me). Then she is standing on the ceiling with me and everything no longer seems upside down. I ask "is there anything you're trying to tell me?" and she answers, "go to userve.net and play level 11 with the machine guns and just look at the scenery." I take a moment to try to comprehend what she had just said, and it almost makes sense. Then she asks "Isn't there anything you want to ask me?" I think about how I have applied for so many jobs and don't know which one I really want so I ask "which job would I be better off with?". She says something sympathetically about how many shitty jobs there are out there and how they're always the easiest to get and goes on to say I should go for the job my friend's dad offered me. I ask her about the landscaping job I was inquiring about that pays really well that my mom's friend Jim said he'd get me into. She says "Jim already has a job." Then she asks what I want to get out of the marine corps. I tell her I don't want to join the marines. We're now lying on a bed and she changes her appearance to another hot girl and tells me to count how many bug bites she has on her chest. I count at least 10 of them all on her boobs and say "I see at least 10". She tells me she'll see me after the next day and to play with her hair. I tell her my hands are cold and she breathes on her hands in a way that tells me to do the same. I give my hand a breath of hot air but it's still cold. I decide to warm it up on her nipple, but this didn't go over very well. I apologized and started to play with her hair. I grab one of her curls of hair and run it through my hand.

    15. James

      by , 05-20-2014 at 07:25 PM (Zukin's Dream Journal! <3)
      The beginning

I was at home, walking around, when I noticed that there were a lot of ants congregated in a corner. Strange. I walked outside and headed for the backyard when my phone started ringing.

"Hello?" I asked, the number was unfamiliar.

      "It's James," a man answered.

      "James who?"

There was a sigh on the other end. "Just James. I thought I'd call to let you know that we'll be seeing each other soon."

"Um, okay. Sounds good," I responded. He hung up. I shrugged it off, he probably had the wrong number. I dived in a nice cold pool.

My alarm woke me up. I hit snooze.

      The Middle

I was at a house meeting, and a new guy who wanted to move in was introducing himself. He was really whacky, and started passing out dollar bills in order to "show us something." I couldn't believe that he was doing that. Some people were holding upwards 50 or 60 dollars in their hands. I looked back at mine again and the amount I was holding had changed, what?

"This isn't right," I whispered. He caught my confusion with his eyes and smiled.

"I think...I'm dreaming," I whispered, and looked at my hands for a reality check. Indeed, I was dreaming.

"This, this was the purpose of this experiment," he announces to the room. Everyone else looks around in confusion. People start leaving. I look outside and notice that we are in a very mountainous area on the coast. The mountains are red. It's really beautiful. All the DCs are leaving, presumably fed up for being tricked. I stay behind, because I can feel that something is different here.

The man walks up to me and smiles, "There is a lot I need to explain to you before we begin. But finally, you are ready." He leads me over to the other side of the room. I notice that there is a monk guarding the entrance to the room. His robes are light brown.

The man points to a dark silver pendant. He begins explaining the pendant, and how energy flows through it. It's really hard for me to pay attention, because I'm so enlightened by everything else that is going on in this room. I can feel, deeply, that this room is a part of me. Hidden somewhere in my mind. I pay attention again, while he finishes up explaining the importance of this pendant.

A song comes on overhead, and it gives me the shivers because it's creepy. The man laughs and switches the song. We start talking to his associate. I observe the man...he feels alive, like a dream guide or spirit.

My alarm goes off...I hit the snooze button.

      The End

The man and I are traveling in a car.

"There you are!" He greets me as I find myself in the dream. I watch as the sunlight flickers and dances through the green trees as we travel down a semi rural road. I hear a phone ringing. Is that my phone, in real life? The ring tone doesn't sound familiar. The man pulls his phone out of his pocket.

"Can I answer it?" I ask.

"Of course," he says with a smile. I flip open the phone.

      "Hello? Zukin speaking!"

      Silence.

"Oh, it's you." A female voice responds, hostile.

      "Excuse me?"

"I just want to let you know that you shouldn't get too far ahead of yourself. There's things going on here that are beyond your control. You better watch your back. It may seem straightforward now, but it isn't. There are tests that you will need to pass."

      She hung up.

"Who was it?" The man asked.

"Some chick," I responded. The man rolled his eyes, knowing exactly who I was talking about. Our journey was abruptly stopped short ahead. There was a fight going on on the road. Four or five dreamers had teamed together to fight some kind of beast. They were flying around him and smashing the beast into the concrete. Every time they did so, the concrete would form a rippling shockwave. I got the impression that the man knew them.

He pulled into a parking lot and lead me down a cellar into a rundown dormitory type area.

"This is where we live," he said, casually. The living conditions didn't look good.

"Why are we here?" I asked.

"Because, like the woman told you, there will be tests. But we don't have time to start a new one today; There's been enough introductions for one day," he explained, resting himself into a red couch, "now, close your eyes and wake up."

"What's your name?" I asked, protesting that I would have to leave now. He didn't answer. Fine. I sat down on the couch next to him and closed my eyes and
woke up. I felt so refreshed for once that there was no possible way I could fall back asleep.

      ~~~
      WOOOOAHHHH. Awesome!
      Well, he didn't tell me a name so it's gonna be James.
