    1. Fight to the death... against penguins

by , 06-14-2014 at 12:17 AM (My Lucid Dreams)
A lucid dream from 2 nights ago.
In my opinion I had the perfect amount of control over the dream: not god-like, but enough to do some awesome stuff.
Also before you read the dream, I just want to let you know that I'm not a murderous d*ckead IRL. I'm actually really loving and peaceful

      Lucidity: 7.5/10
      Control: 7/10
      Vivacity: 8/10

I'll skip the first part of the dream: it was just a normal day at school.
I'm walking back home from school in the streets of my hometown, back in France. I take a right on a narrow street when I realize that I forgot my bike. I find it on the corner of a street, attached to a pole. As I take my keys out and unlock my bike, I notice that the sun is especially big today; it's got these solar storm kinda things on it. There are also a bunch of shooting stars spelling my last name in the sky (lol).

      i remembered-619px-ultraviolet_sun.jpg

I check reality without really but it doesn't work. My mom is waiting for me at a door just at my left. I enter the small apartment in which my whole family is eating dinner on a small table. I look through the window, curious about what is going on in the sky. My mom looks worried about it and I understand that she thinks the sun' radiations might overwhelm the Earth's magnetic field and kill us all. As I think about this, a star explodes in a supernova way too close to the Earth.
I know that the explosion will eventually hit the Earth and I start getting seriously worried, until I Check reality a Second time.
      HOT DAMN THAT SCARED ME.
I take a few seconds to look at my hand a little more closely. Even though I only have four fingers, my hand still looks normal... weird.
I step outside rubbing my hands together and take a look at the sky again: I don't get many of these.
I look around for something to do, and fly up to a flat roof. I want to summon a beast.
I do the naruto hand signs, without really knowing who I want to summon. I slap my hand on the floor, and even though I can see the ink writings appear on the ground, no one appears.

      i remembered-summoning_technique.jpg

Assuming it's because I didn't know what I wanted, I take a few seconds to stabilize the dream even more. There's a forest at my left and the sun is back to normal; it's shining in front of me. I take a few steps on the roof and turn around. This time, I got a good Idea of who I want to summon: the Nine Tails from Naruto (... I've been reading a lot of manga with the current Florida weather).

      i remembered-kyuubi.jpg

I quickly do the hand signs and punch my right hand to the ground... The ink writings progress from under my hand to form a cool symbol on the ground. I start to doubt myself after two seconds, but then I get propelled upwards by a crazy force. When I get my balance back I find myself standing on the giant beast, my feet digging into its dark orange fur. I run a few meters on its back, and front flip off of it. As I find my self upside down, time slows down to let me admire the beast's humongous face. He's growling, his red eyes looking straight at me. I finish my flip with a 180 right before I hit the floor.
      Ok, now what?
I'm just standing here looking at this beast, I don't really know what to do with him. I decide to set him free and I jump off the roof onto the empty, narrow road. The place reminds me of where the cinema was at in my hometown.
I walk around a little bit, until I notice a video game inside a store's "display window".
A girl walks up to me and explains that she is the one who created the game.
The game's goals is to escape killer penguins by jumping into portals. I visualize the game, and when I snap out of it, I'm in a workshop, surrounded by these killer penguins. The ceiling is really high, and lots of penguins are standing on small cornices made out of the minecraft element "Iron".
The penguins rush at me from all sides.
I push my hands to my sides, using telekinesis to hold them back. I quickly release the tension in my arms and push again even harder, sending the first layer of penguins flying back. I notice that the ceiling is slowly moving down. It's a trap that the penguins set for me.
      F*cking hell.
I try to use telekinesis on the ceiling as well, but I have to retain it with my right fist (I hurt my wrist IRL and I can't bend it).
It's not enough. I have to use both of my arms to hold it, and even then the ceiling is still advancing down.
      I have an idea.
I push up with all my strength, sending the ceiling up a few centimeters. As the ceiling falls back down, I quickly do the hand signs from earlier, and slap my hand down on the ground, summoning the Titan form of Eren from Shingeki no Kyojin.

      i remembered-eren_titan.jpg

Somehow Eren gets rid of the ceiling (?), and I'm able to fly up in the air somewhat quickly. As I fly up, I raise my hands at the same height as my hips, my palms facing out. I use telekinesis to take down all the penguins on the cornices.

I land on on of the cornices. I look around and notice that there are some "coins" around me, forming different paths. I jump back down, collecting all the coins in the air like in a video game. When I land on the ground, all the penguins have disappeared, along with Eren.
There's a girl from one of my classes from school. I walk up to her and ask for any item. She pulls a piece of cake out of her bra (lol). I thank her and grab her boob, then walk away. The cake's got a brown crust but's its yellowish inside. I take my first bite. It's the first time I ever eat something in a dream... to be honest I was expecting a little more. I mean it tastes good but it could be much better.

I walk into another room, where there are lots of cutting machines and all that. It also appears to be a store. There are a few people walking around. I use telekinesis to push a few products onto the ground, triggering a guy's anger. I look at him for a second.
My fight from earlier made me feel real powerful.
For my defense, I was very lucid and knew nothing was real.
There's a guy in a weird plastic suit testing a machine. I hold my left hand to my side, palm up. I look at the guy in the suit and close my hand. His suit starts to condense rapidly, crushing the guy in it, who stops moving.
There's a cutting machine with a big blade attached to it (~1 meter in diameter). I use telekinesis to make the blade spin really fast, and then detach it from the machine.
The blade it levitating, I have small control over it. I clumsily move it toward a guy who's cutting wood, and the blade cuts straight through his arm. I can see that he's pretty horrified, and I decide to let him live. I move the blade to the left, but it's slowly hovering towards me. I bend backwards but the blade keeps moving and cuts deep inside my chest. I jerk my arms forwards and the blade shoots into a glass door and falls to the ground.
Surprisingly, I'm not feeling any pain. I am waking up though, and I am too slow to stabilize the dream.
      I wake up.

    2. Defeating Giants

      by , 06-08-2014 at 02:58 PM
I was with a large group of people (perhaps around 15 or so), standing in a room that seemed to be much to large for us. For example, the bed next to us was incredibly big- it would have taken probably 100 of me stacked shoulder to shoulder to even reach the mattress. In any case, I was pretty confused until I saw a group of giants walking through the door. The group of people I was with seemed not to be to alarmed, but I decided it was probably smarter to hide, so I sneaked under one of the beds. Despite our small size, the giants were able to see us immediately. They referred to us as ants, and they had a particular taste for us.

Alarmingly, the giants also had an instinctual response of pecking, sort of like a chicken, if they stood in front of any humans. They would be standing, but, as soon as they moved before a group of 5 or so, they were able to immediately eat each one. They're speed was incredible and I was glad I was hidden. At least 2/3 of the group were immediately wiped out, but we were able to escape the room because of an odd trick we discovered. So long as you were speaking in the second or third person, the giant would not be able to immediately peck at you. They could still crush you, but this was avoidable. At one point a giant stood over me, so I kept repeating "you, you, you" and was able to escape.

I'm not sure what happened up to this point, but it turned out only 3 people of the group were left including me. I was by myself at the time, riding a motorcycle on a long, mountainous road with a giant behind me, on foot. He was running as fast as he could in order to eat me presumably, and I was doing my best to lead him astray from the 2 others in my group, who were currently trying to kill the head giant. As I was riding around I taunted the giant, until I felt I was sufficiently far away, and told him that his boss was about to die. He didn't believe me until I showed him so green napkin with the time on it, at which point he realized he needed to run back. He attacked me, knocking me incredibly high in the air, and during my fall turned around. I was scared I would be killed on my landing, but miraculously landed on a "soft rock" In particular, I remember rising, and at the peak seeing so much of this mountain, which was pretty cool, and then falling, though I wasn't scared of the fact.

Coincidentally, I landed near a school or university. I walked in and noticed everyone there that I passed was a black women. They were all confused as to why I was walking through the place, but I just continued walking past them until I met a girl I knew. She may have offered me food or similar, but, more generally, she did what she could to revitalize me. Where I was felt less like a school, and more like a distant kingdom, in which all the inhabitants were black women. The girl I knew was possibly the princess.

My mind jumped to the 2 others in my group tackling the boss, who was a giant, but only his giant head was visible. Again, the two would talk in the second or third person, avoiding the other giants, and, though I don't remember exactly how, they were able to blow up the head giant.

    3. The Giant Killer

      by , 04-25-2014 at 03:39 PM
Finally on the board for Task of the Year 2014!!

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #206: The Giant Killer

I sense a transition into the dream state, but just as it begins I hear our dogs start barking downstairs. Wife stirs in the bed next to me and I wonder how much of this is pure dream and how much of it might be sounds and sensations from waking life bleeding over.

I will myself to roll out of bed OBE-style and I decide to phase downstairs to see what the dogs are on about. I pass through walls and the floor like a ghost and I think to myself that “I’m spirit walking.”

I pass through one last set of walls and the geometry gets weird for a moment and I wonder if I’m losing this dream. I rake my fingers across the floor but I pass right through. Still, it seems to bring me back into the experience and there in front of me are our 2 dogs laying on the floor panting.

Their food and water bowls both lay empty and I figure that’s what they were making a fuss about. Even though I’m still floating like a ghost, I’m able to grab the water bowl and sling it across the room and it clangs realistically against the floor. I consider asking Wife the next morning if she heard any of this commotion.

I head out into the garage, walking like normal now. Rather than phase, for some reason I lift the garage door manually and walk out into the night. I move past the circular driveway to the grass, thinking of the Jack and the Beanstalk Task of the Year. I dig a quick hole and everything’s feeling very vivid now. I do a behind-the-back summon of a seed which feels very half-hearted but fortunately still does yield a tiny seed. I quickly cover it over with dirt.

For water I move my hands in a little sprinkling motion over the little mound and a few drops of “rain” fall. The plant immediately springs up through the ground and stretches skyward. It looks like a normal vine at first but as it continues up it looks more like a twisting rope bridge that goes all the way up into the clouds.

I grab the lower rung and start hauling myself up but I feel like I’m getting nowhere and won’t ever be able to tackle all that distance. I decide that the planks are being reeled in from above and are pulling me up toward the clouds. It works! In a couple of spots the planks twist and turn oddly as if they’re trying to throw me off, but I ignore this and before long I’m at the top! I float up over the edge into what looks like a restaurant that’s being prepared for a party.

Two women standing nearby appear to be in charge of the scurrying wait staff. One of the women, an attractive lady in her early 40s, looks up at me as I walk nearby. She has a streak of her short brown hair bleached almost white. My task is the defeat the giant that lives up here, so I ask, “Where’s the giant?” She points behind me and to my left.

When I turn, there’s a guy roughly 9-10 feet tall walking through the door of the restaurant. He’s mid-40s with dark hair and a thick, barrel-chested build. “So you’re the giant?” I ask leadingly.

“That’s right,” he says and immediately takes a swing at me. His punch catches me square in the face but I decide that it will have no effect. I wind up not feeling anything or even falling back and it kind of feels like cheating. I strike at the man, trying what I for some reason think is a “kidney punch” but actually hit him in the side of the gut. He winces a bit but doesn’t move much.

I follow this up with a kick to the body and the giant clutches at his chest. I feel like this is working but I become paranoid about losing the dream, so I leap up and grab onto the giant’s face. I try to do this thing where I burn him with my hands but it completely fails. The failure makes me kind of vicious and desperate, so I gouge at his left eye with my right thumb and then strike him on the neck with my forearm. He collapses hard to the ground and I go with him. As I’m picking myself up to see what’s next,
      the dream ends.
    4. Growing a Forest

by , 04-13-2014 at 05:24 PM (My Lucid Dreams)
I've had a dryspell of over two weeks, but now I'm back !
This dream was pretty short because my cat woke me up

      Lucidity: 8/10
      Vivacity: 8/10
      Control: 8/10

I'm in a modern luxury hotel room, on my laptop. I've got an awesome view on a rich, almost futuristic city with high buildings and an ocean on the left. Apart from the floor and the furniture, the hotel structure sort of reminds me of a friend's apartment.
I'm watching a friend of mine's video on youtube; it's a weird magic video. Accidentally, I copy the video on an editing program and freak out for no reason at all.
      I become lucid.
There's no need for any reality check: I know for sure that I'm dreaming.
I brows the program's options and find a cool-looking key: "wooden". I click on that and enter the screen... I land somewhere in the city in which my hotel was at. I see branches coming out out the ground and buildings, green stems and leaves progressively growing on them. Eventually, full trunks grow too, until the place resembles a city that would have been deserted for hundreds of years.
People in front of me back up slowly, looking at me with awed stares, as if I was the Devil just coming down to kill them all.
      Well, they're not exactly wrong...
Up on the rooftops at my right, a friend of mine stares at me. I feel like he is the hero whose duty is to stop me.
      Nah f*ck that.
I walk a bit in the streets, with a masked guy who followed me. Eventually we arrive to a sort of "bridge"; the beach is close to my left, in front of me is a ~5 meter drop onto a calm road.
The masked guy asks me how big I want to become, and I scream "I want to be expandable !" (wut?).
I've already grown about half my size, but I want more.
I walk up to the fence that is supposed to prevent me from falling onto the road, cross it, and adopt a suicidal pose: my feet half way in the air, holding myself onto the rail behind me.
I focus on the buildings in front of me, with the masked guy watching me. I slowly take a few steps in the air, but I'm not falling: my body extended to the ground. I walk around a little bit, I can hear my feet pounding on the floor. The masked guy followed me. He grew too, but not as much as me.
I hear weird, loud noises coming from everywhere
, until I wake up and realize my cat was scratching on my door

    5. CL and the Beanstalk

      by , 02-26-2014 at 04:30 PM
Very close call on Task of the Year! I'll definitely have to go for this one again.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

Lucid #188: CL and the Beanstalk

I WILD into a scene filled with fleeting hypnagogic imagery which quickly fades into the void. I start waving my dream-hands in a repetitive motion, waiting for a scene to form. Nothing happens right away, though, so I start licking my fingers for a while to see if that works.

Nothing’s shaping up yet, though, so I try seeing how far I can stick my tongue out. I can feel it extending outward from my mouth seemingly on and on, and after a few moments I can vaguely see it extending away from my face into the distance. Curious how large I can make it, I will the tongue to expand and it balloons out in a huge, rectangular shape as large as a room. After a couple of seconds, I can see that yes, it actually is a room…

Now I’m standing high up in an office building, looking out over a city skyline through enormous windows. It’s late afternoon. I enjoy the sight of the skyline for a moment, rubbing my hands together.

As I’m doing this, a helicopter rises into view from below my line of sight, turns itself directly toward me, and opens fire with dual-mounted miniguns.

The office windows shatter and I feel myself being pelted with glass and bullets. There’s no pain, but each impact feels like a definitive hit. I know that it’s a dream but I can’t stop myself from shying from the window, crouching down, and nearly cowering. I hold my hand out toward the helicopter then swipe it quickly to the right, flinging it away from the building and out of sight.

The wrecked office is filled with random debris now, and I make my way past it to stand at the edge of the now-empty window. I recall Task of the Year (find and plant some magic beans, climb the beanstalk, and defeat the giant at the top.) My immediate goal is to get back to ground level, so I instinctively point to a lower rooftop perhaps 7 or 8 stories down and will myself to float to it. It works and I’m pulled smoothly down.

Now I’m really enthused about this pointing thing, so I point at the street below, once again pulling myself down. I’m filled with confidence after this, so I just start knocking out Task of the Year steps as quickly as I can.

I need bare earth, so I scoop the roadway aside, leaving a bowl-shaped hollow for my seed. I close and then open my hand, expecting the seed to be there. It is! (Looks like a pine nut.) I stuff the seed in the hole, cover it over with dirt and pat it down. A stalk immediately starts growing out of the ground and I jump onto it as it goes by. The stalk’s growing fast and since I hitched a ride so early, the plant’s doing the climbing for me.

I streak past the nearby buildings and head into the clouds. Immediately a shirtless, ape-like giant with a long beard comes loping toward me, about 100 feet away. I’m preparing to do something violent and decisive to make absolutely certain that I nail Task of the Year, but excitement gets the best of me. The scene collapses
into a false awakening back in my bedroom.

I need to use the bathroom, so I get out of bed, head in there, and start peeing. My aim is terrible and I keep hitting the seat, the floor, the tank, everything but what I’m aiming at. This really frustrates me and I assume that I must be super tired.

Just then I notice a strange, robotic laundry machine sloshing water onto the floor. Its label indicates that it’s some kind of diaper-washing contraption. Our kids barely use any diapers these days so I wonder why we have it and why it’s here flooding our bathroom.

My 2-year-old son R walks into the room, followed soon after by a sleepy-looking Wife. Her hair is standing up in all kinds of crazy directions, including one nearly two-foot spike that’s going straight up. “Your hair is pretty awesome right now,” I tell her. She giggles and checks herself out in the mirror. We have a good laugh about this until
      the dream ends.
    6. Nov 14 Dream Journal: Lil' Bub!

      by , 11-14-2013 at 11:13 PM
      Okay, too much internet.

I could only remember one dream last night, and it was a brief dream of Lil' Bub.

For those of you who don't know who she is, Google her; she's the tiny, adorable kitten with the tongue sticking out of her hilarious face. Specifically in my dream, she is from the picture where she is laying down, and her paws are folded in front of her so it looks like she's having a serious talk with you.

Now, in this scenario, she is gigantic, her head floats in the sky like the sun (maybe she WAS the sun), and she is staring right at me.

She speaks human in this dream, but I'm not sure what she said. She also sounds like she comes from a Saturday morning cartoon.

Anyways, I surrender, internet. You win.
    7. 15NOV13 Scrap Tower

      by , 11-14-2013 at 10:25 PM
      This dream was rather confusing....

It started out in a very sunny Autumn wooded area. There was a large tower made of scrape metal that was piled and welded together. There I was looking for something but kept finding replica or incorrect material....

Then the tower is getting torn down/apart by a giant man. I'm glad for this because at the base in an alternate access that is blocked off. So i'm waiting as the metal sheets are being torn off the structure.

There was a sort of celebration. A kid was the one leading/organized it and had a bunch of girl scouts to help. The performance was for an older black lady who was teared up. She was very emotional but I don't know if it was Happiness or of mourning....
    8. Dream Log 8 Darkwood and 5 False Awakenings

      by , 09-08-2013 at 07:19 PM
Partially Lucid (first recorded lucid dream)

      1/30/11 9:00 p.m.
      1/31/11 4:41 a.m.

I remember the first dream... My sister and I were talking about something, it was in the bedroom of the 1st floor at my aunt's house. Then I went outside to the living room- it was quite bright, I then tried to hover in the air, then I awoke.

The next dream when I went asleep was a bit stranger. My parents and I were in the kitchen on the 2nd floor of my house and we were discussing some trip. The table looked messy, I was sitting at the side of the table. On the table was an assortment o food bit it didn't look appetizing. There was some half-eaten General Tso Chicken and my parents said I had to eat it.

The next sequence of dreams became increasingly bizarre. I had a vision of someone, whom the announcer of my dream identified as Charles Darwin. The man was dressed in priestly clothing and he looked more like George Carlin than Darwin. The location looked like a meadow within a swamp; it was quite dark. The narrator said he would be dunked in the water which was rather clear; I could see underwater. When the man plunged himself into the "baptismal ritual" he bled underwater and I saw the blood diffuse throughout.

The next dream was stranger still. Someone who appeared to appeared to be a slave, was walking in what looked like a cavern. Then I saw the man on a line with other slaves. Unhappy with this, he somehow broke free of his chains, took one of the guards swords and slew not only the pirates but some of the slaves! The way in which he killed them was most peculiar. He would slice their abdomen and wrists, then finally aim and strike their necks. The victims would just stand there without saying a word. Interestingly, there was no blood, yet I knew they were dead. The location of the dream was the most fantasy based thus far. There were rocks everywhere and what looked like an escalatory bridge towards a massive door; in the door was light. I then took control of the man and started to run, although no one was chasing me. I came to a cavern which was rectangular shaped and near the end I saw a mirror, which I smashed to smithereens, trying to see my reflection. Unfortunately I saw no reflection and the dream ended.

In a dream prior to this one, I assumed the role of a murderer. I went to an office-like building where some gentlemen were drinking tea. The next couple of dreams are a series of false awakenings.

The first one was when my roommate had to go to his morning class... just then, I started to wonder what was real and what wasn't. I started fading to another dream in which I saw my roommate's bed become a mountain and I became a giant. I started touching the basin of the mountain and it's rivers. I wanted to reduce my size so I could explore the area, but it wasn't so.

Then I "awoke" again to find my roommate at his computer and in real life he has a bulletin board on the wall. This bulletin board however looked like a computer panel screen with numbers and programs and what not.

The next dream I found D. near the end of my bed talking and joking . I think he had a bean bag hat on. We all laughed except my roommate.

Then I woke up again to find out D. wasn't there and it was all a dream. Of course, I was still dreaming and I went up and got out of bed to go to the bathroom. There I found M. and asked him if I was dreaming. He didn't respond. I asked angrily this time and he started to whimper silently while cringing. Knowing my roommate would never be frightened at me, I assumed I was dreaming thereby making the dream lucid. Next, I awoke yet again from my bed and tried to go to the bathroom only to find that it was blocked by my roommate's bookshelf. I then again realized I was dreaming this. I went out of my room into the dorm living room and tried to manipulate my dream, lucid with control. Alas, this was not to be as I woke up for real this time.

    9. Coughing up Roaches

      by , 03-28-2013 at 03:51 PM (Death's Other Kingdom)
      03.27.2013
      Coughing up Roaches (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I am in a classroom at my old high school with two annoying kids who were freshman back when I was a senior. I take a nap, and when I wake up the entire school has undergone some kind of demonic shift.

My first sign that something is terribly wrong is when I begin coughing up roaches. I am coughing and hacking, with huge live roaches spilling out onto the floor. One of them crawls out of my mouth and scurries up my face to hide in my hair. I am disgusted, but not quite as disturbed as I should be.

Some time passes and I am deep within the belly of the school, in a dungeon-like area filled with row upon row of drying racks. On the racks are the decaying corpses of goblins. I am travelling with a live goblin, and I feel sorry that he has to see all of this. The ceiling is very low, so we are walking hunched over.

We make our way through the seemingly endless expanse of dead goblins, when the ceiling begins to collapse. We quickly evade the falling rubble until we come to an area where the ceiling is a bit higher. There are still rows and rows of drying racks in this area, but at least we don't have to hunch forward to walk anymore. Unfortunately, there are also Giants guarding this section. I imagine that they are on high alert due to the collapsing ceiling, so we flee the area as quickly and quietly as possible.

Along the way, these red bamboo creatures called "Rod Foxes" begin chasing us. I lose my goblin companion, but I make it out of the drying rack area and hide from the Rod Foxes in a classroom. There are a few students in there who are former classmates of mine. One of them looks out the door and says that a teacher is coming. This is a problem, because all of the teachers have become demonized. My classmate says that if we just do as we're told, he won't hurt us.

The teacher enters the room and tells us to sit in alphabetical order. We comply immediately. He then slams a putrid goblin head onto my desk and says that I must eat it, because it's "tea time."

I refuse to eat the goblin head and end up slashing the teacher's throat with dual knives. (Not sure how I acquired these.)

More time passes and my cockroach problem has gotten worse. I can't stop coughing, and the roaches are crawling out of me at an alarming rate.

Somehow I manage to stop coughing. There is a painting of a castle on a nearby wall, and I
become lucid while admiring it. I decide that I will go into the painting and explore the castle. I manage to get into the painting, but the night is so dark that I can barely see.

      I wake up shortly afterward.

This lucid was fueled by pure desperation. I've never fought this hard to save an LD that was going bad, but it paid off. I'm getting a lot of mileage out of this gladius thing.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #58: Generosity and Giants

A young woman named "Crystal Fleming" is collecting money for a charity, and I've pledged $33.13. I'm proud of my "generosity" and totally thrilled that I've found exact change down to the penny. But now I can't find Crystal. It's night, and I trudge across a snowy field to a picnic table where I think she might be waiting. But rather than Crystal, seated at the table is my friend W.

This is unexpected, and as soon as I question whether I'm dreaming,
I know that I am. I tell W, "Gotta go, this is a lucid dream." His face is harshly lit, stony, and expressionless. I realize we're in a small, dark room now, getting darker by the moment. I head for the exit, but the scene fades...

Now I'm in the dark. I'm desperate for a lucid dream, though, so there's no way I'm letting this one go. I start swinging a gladius (ancient Roman sword) and willing myself to be in the Colosseum for Task of the Year. On top of this I shout, "This is still a lucid dream!"

I hear Wife muttering and rolling over nearby, and now I'm scared that I'm really yelling and waving my arms around in the bedroom. I want a lucid too badly to stop trying, though, so I jam the index and middle finger of my left hand into my mouth and start chewing on them. This all feels totally real, but I decide to ride it out to the end. If I look like a psycho, I look like a psycho. I'm not dropping this LD.

Suddenly, a sharp new dream scene forms: I'm standing on our bed, fingers in my mouth, swordless right hand swinging madly. The scene's extremely vivid, but there's a slight motion to everything that I see, like I'm slightly drunk. I hop down from the bed and run out into the hall.

The hallway outside of our bedroom is totally transformed. The carpeting is bright pink and the room is decorated floor to ceiling with stuffed animals. There's an exit to the right that doesn't exist IWL, so I explore it, curious where it leads. I find myself in a new hallway with a tall picture window overlooking an early morning street scene.

I phase through the glass out onto the street. The street is wet as if it rained overnight. A few cars pass by, headlights on. It looks like a work day that's just beginning. I fly up into the air, but my confidence isn't what it should be. My altitude is low and my speed's really pitiful. There's an entrance to a mall food court nearby, and the dream seems to be ushering me toward it. I don't resist.

In spite of the early hours, this food court is packed. It's a two story mall, so I try flying again, getting about 6 feet off of the ground and doing that slow drift again. I spot my reflection in the exit door on the opposite side of the food court. Except the reflection isn't me flying -- it's my 6'8" Uncle J walking toward the door with me flying over his shoulder. He looks solid, substantial, and real, while I look like some kind of phantasm. I look down, and he's not there. But in the glass's reflection, he's solid-looking and completely realistic.

Now I can't decide whether I'm me flying toward the door or if I'm my gigantic uncle, lumbering toward the exit on foot. I switch between feeling like I'm the one flying... then the one on foot... then both...

I raise my hand to phase through the door. Uncle J's reflection does the same. The phase fails. From below, an attractive DC calls to me, saying, "Hi! Come down here." The LD's starting to feel thin and I float down. The DC is about 30 with long, dark hair, and attractive almost to the point of absurdity. I remember reading Waggoner during my WBTB and want to ask her what she represents. I feel weak and insubstantial, though, and my voice is just a hoarse whisper. She looks at me, arms crossed, a wry smile on her face and the scene fades to black.

Well this dream I had a while ago... But nonetheless it was kind of a bad one. Ok so I was in my backyard, and all I remember is that there was this giant person standing about 80-100 ft tall. And they saw me and they actually tried to reach down and grab me. So I saw a freakishly huge hand coming at me. ...But for some reason, I couldn't run away, so instead, I was on my back just backing away using my arms. I actually got through some bushes and escaped though. The dream was supposed to be a bad one I guess, but I got away. Freaky though...

      Giant and Lizard Battle

I was standing on the side of a dirt road at the top of a hill. I knew there was supposed to be a village a few miles from there. For some reason there were hundreds of people walking along the road towards me. They had horses and carriages with them. It looked as if they were evacuating or moving to a new location. I stopped a woman so I could talk to her. "What is everyone doing?" I asked. "We're leaving the city." She said. "Why?" I asked. "Monsters have taken over." She replied before moving on.

I became lucid at this point due to the mention of monsters. I was able to recognize it as a dream thing this time. The thought of hundreds of people abandoning a city because of monsters made me just a little upset and angry. I wanted to go over the city and stop the monsters. I used these emotions to go into a low level fury mode. I used this new energy to transform into a black dragon. I then took off into the sky and flew at a very high speed with the fury energy. I came close to where the village should have been in about 10 seconds.

As I was flying I looked down and noticed there was nothing there but a large crater. The town had been completed destroyed and all that was left was a desert. I saw a grey giant thing sitting in the middle of the crater. I was about to attack it, but I sensed the energy of something flying towards me at a very fast speed. I quickly moved downward to avoid it and it stopped right above me. It was some sort of lizard raptor thing and it felt powerful. I put my hands in the air and created a large purple disc of fury energy. I then quickly threw the disc at the raptor. I thought he would have dodged it, but instead he blocked. It exploded when it hit him and damaged him only a little.

The raptor quickly flew down and threw a punch at me. I blocked it and we got in a very intense martial arts fight while hovering in the air. Neither of us managed to land a solid hit and we appeared to be of equal strength. At one point though I did find an opening and I punched him as hard as I could. He fell towards the ground and created a crater where he landed. I thought I had defeated the raptor, so I flew towards the giant. I hovered in front of the giant's face and started punching and kicking at it. It was enough to irritate him, but it was generally ineffective. I sensed the raptor's energy coming up from behind again as I fought the giant. When the raptor tried attacking me, I blocked him again. I then had to fight both the giant and the raptor at the same time. It was a little too much for me.

It wasn't long before the raptor found an opening in my defense. He kicked me hard and I flew up into the air. The giant then jumped up and punched me towards the ground. I used the fury energy to create a force field around right before I hit the ground. When I hit the ground, it created a massive crater. My shield broke when I hit the ground, so I was only able to absorb some the impact. It was just enough to save me from being killed. It hurt like hell though and I could hardly move. At this point I realized I wouldn't be able to do this on my own. "Where's Claire when you need her?" I thought out loud. I tried to get up, but I just couldn't. "Claire!" I yelled in desperation.

Three seconds later, a portal opened in front of me. Claire came out of the portal with her sword and battle armor. I can't remember much more of the dream after this point. I know Claire fought both of the monsters at once to protect me. I also remember she use a lot of lightning bolts as usual. Although I can't remember exactly, I'm pretty sure she won the fight.

      Non-lucid dream

I was a giant overlooking a street, there was a man in a black beat up car with flames on it. It was Francis from left 4 dead. the car ran out of gas and was pulled over to the sidewalk. He got out kicked the car and it drove away without him. The dream switched to him playing an electric guitar, the same car appeared in front of him and he went over to it and said "well hello." he got in the car and drove away.

    14. Dinosaur (frorm childhood lucid dream) enters the stage and crashes the party

      by , 03-28-2012 at 07:21 PM
We are in a house that could be a hybrid between where I live and the Twilight-vampire-mansion. Bright white walls, windows and corridors with smaller rooms.
Maria having a party, entering a singing contest.
I wish her luck, and hope for the best.
She is making new and other friends, and I accept that, I am glad for her.
But I have the feeling that something will go wrong soon.
And suddenly I am moved to third person view watching a kid in front of the small crowd's skin suddenly rip apart in the middle of his face, neck and stomach. I think he is me.(I'm a girl btw.) I can see the red flesh at the edges of his skin, but there is no blood or screams, no agonizing pain.
Out of where his guts (in reality..) would have splatted out, rises a giants head. And now I am the giant, as the boy has changed into it like a butterfly growing from it's cocoon.
Everybody is watching me, I am a little surprised and feel like the situation had just taken a turn of the worse. I roughly slide out of the room and hurries to a window. I now know that I know that something bad is coming. And am I right!
In the shadows of the forest outside the dark window I can see a dark creature keeping watch over the house. When I understand it's form, my heart jumps. The familiar T-Rex, from my first brief lucid as a kid, is out there, hunting me. I see it disappear among bushes, before I run over to a window on the upper side of the house. At the left sits my father. I make sure to keep close watched over the forest outside, and any suspicious shadows there might be, as I discuss the dinosaur with him. During this tense conversation I can't recall, I somehow understand that it is my job as a giant to defend the house and the people that are inside. I must meet the dinosaur at it's arrival and hold him back with all my fight.
Most of all I had wanted to hide in the corner of a locked room.
I again spot a darker shadow in contrast to the trees, and know that the dinosaur is coming closer. The dinosaur is coming for me. It's coming for the glass of the window.
I run to another room nearby, and know that the dinosaur had already leaped trough a now shattered window. I hear steps and feel it's presence like an unavoidable truth.
I hear loud cracking noise as the T-Rex heads in the door separating us and get's trough. First, it is just his giant head in a hole of the door, with green shells and sharp teeth. Then it is his full-sized ancient body, as the once most infamous predator of the earth he were, standing before me. It is almost as looking into a gun pointed at your head, only this time it is highly aggressive and a little bit taller and larger than the average giant.
We threw ourselves at each other, wrestling, but it didn't last for long though.
I had something he wanted to get; a glove. And the rest of the dream circled around me; The giant, watching a fighting and how-to-use-your-magic-glove instruction video together with another person, knowing the dinosaur could break trough the doors any minute.
    15. The Green Rooms

      2/13/2012
I run into my ex-girlfriend. She is walking so fast I have a hard time keeping up. I ask if she is avoiding me. She says yes. I say one more thing and then leave her alone.

A series of rooms. In each one, there is a challenge involving fighting (or possibly fishing) before the next door will open. More than one room has a stream with eels. A lot of these rooms are quite large and have natural type features- streams, animals, trees, plants, etc. The room I'm in now has giants. The lights go out. Fighting in the dark is difficult and scary.

I journaled in my dreams again, so I missed writing down the other part of my dream because I thought I'd already written it. I've forgotten it now. I hate when that happens.
