    1. Psychotic Sister

      I dug up this entry from a slightly older dream journal.

      I was in my house. The lighting was dim; if I were to rate it on a scale of one to ten, ten being normal light in a house and one being dark, I'd give it a five. The house was large and modern; the walls were smooth light beige and the flooring was polished cherry hardwood. There were nooks and crannies and it reminded me of a house from a horror movie, but there was no horror aspect to the dream. At least, not yet.

      The room I was currently in was completely empty, with the exception of a few packing beans and a thirty-inch television set mounted on the wall. I stared at it for a few moments, and then heard footsteps behind me. I spun around and was looking right into my sister's eyes. She was a few inches shorter than me, so she was looking up, but the look in her eyes frightened me a bit. She looked possessed.

      I backed up a few paces and at the same time, she advanced. She was holding her hand up, which had a needle filled with light pink fluid. It was difficult to tell whether it was viscous or not, and to identify what it was, but whatever it might have been, I knew this wasn't a good thing.


      She smiled as the look on my face changed from surprise to terror. I suddenly bolted and ran past her, barely missing a jab from the needle. I got to the stairs after a few good paces, but there were strips of wood blocking the way, and I couldn't crawl through a hole; there weren't any. I was pretty much trapped. My sister then stabbed me hard in the lower arm. I remember minutely realizing that this was a dream, so I told her "it'll take more than that." I grabbed the syringe and pointed it at her. "Go away."

      The dream ended with the needle still in my hand.

    2. Cheese Casserole (Yumyum)

      I was in the basement of my own house, sitting at a computer desk with my sister. However, there was no computer, mousepad, or keyboard. There was nothing to suggest that there was a computer there. Instead, there was a black microwave on the far left of the desk, and I had just placed a casserole dish of some sort inside, which was in a rectangular glass dish. The top was coated with a good layer of cheese, so I couldn't tell what was inside yet. I pressed a single button on the microwave and the casserole began to "cook". Two patches of darker cheese started to bubble, which was a sign that it was done. It only took ten seconds or so. My sister watched the whole time as I took it out and waved my hand over it to cool it down.

      My mother walked through the back door upstairs. That door was right where the start of the stairway downstairs was, so I saw her come in. "I'm home," she called out and then I replied. "Hi mom, I made dinner!" I've never made dinner for her in real life before, especially not as a charity with no reason to.

      I took the casserole, all cooled off, into the washroom where my father was washing his hands. "Can you help me cut this? I'm not too good with these things." He agreed, and pulled out a random knife from behind him, starting to cut the casserole into sixths. I watched as the knife went straight down, and he pulled out a piece. The inside of the piece he took out looked like light pink and tan cake, not at all like a casserole. I looked harder and saw the insides of the other pieces still in the dish. They were all cheese and larger-than-normal macaroni noodles. "Thanks", I told him and took off to my bedroom, also downstairs.

      The lighting in my bedroom was dark, but it was brightened slightly by the light coming from the other room (where the computer desk was). I put the casserole on my bed and somehow managed to tilt it over. "Ugh," I muttered as a lump twice the size of my palm came out onto the light green bedsheets. I put the dish down to the side and tried to pick up the lump with my hand. It was gooey and more like silly putty than sticky cheese. It slipped out of my hand though, so I decided to just leave it there. I turned around and there were two massive garbage bags full of clothes and stuff in my room; they were almost as tall as me. I wiped my hand on one of them to clean it off, and left the room.

      I suspect going lucid a couple times but waking up straight away.

      1) I remember something to do with the TV show fringe....

      2) I've somehow bought a old trailer/house from an old lady, it needs serious repairs. A repair guy comes to inspect it and as he enters one of the old ladys plates falls off the wall, I notice that she has plates hanging on all the walls and that the top of the walls need repairs, the floor is also wonky. There are cinder blocks and a trampoline holding up the floor underneath the trailer. I remember telling someone that at least once it's fixed I'll have a trampoline . I remember looking around the garden there was a tree and a swingset.
    4. Street at Night

      This was from an hour-long nap I took today.

      This dream involved me standing on a driveway to my house; I was facing the street right from the start. This place hardly looked like my house though. The driveway was all the way to the left of the lot, but I didn't look back to see if it properly connected with the house. Along the side of the driveway, there was a large evergreen tree, probably at least thirty feet tall. It filled up at least half the front yard. It was nighttime, but there were street lights casting an orange glow to the area. It was light enough to see everything.

      I became lucid, but I wasn't aware as I should have been, or would have liked. I immediately gasped and looked around, taking in the scenery, with no need to do a reality check. "I'm dreaming!" I confirmed to myself just from the fact that there was a jumbo tree sitting in my front yard. I immediately started to walk forward, and stopped as soon as I was about to set foot on the street. There was a woman with shoulder-length blonde hair walking down the road, her face turned away from me. A few feet from where she was walking, the road curved around a house and I couldn't see past it. I called out to her, asking where I was, and she turned around. I didn't recognize her face at all. She told me that I was in Las Vegas. I immediately told her off. "Yeah right, this is nothing like Las Vegas. There's no neon lights, no cars driving by, and definitely no casinos."

      I forgot about her and decided to try throwing a pokeball. I didn't think of what I'd release, though, until it was already in the air, so I just shouted out a random Pokemon. I shouted out, "Fearow!"


      It ended up on the road and looked like it should have: brown, with a pink beak and cream fuzz on its back. It was around the proper size too. But somehow, its behavior was off. Instead of flying above the ground or at least levitating, it was hopping along the ground like a duckling, and squawking every few seconds. It didn't turn to look at me when I called it. After that the dream ended rather abruptly; it was probably the thunderstorm outside that woke me.

    5. Writing with House and his Tongue

      I was in a smaller type of hospital patient room with only one bed; it looked pretty ordinary at first glance.


      It looked pretty much like that, although there was a small rectangular whiteboard behind the bed, up against the wall. There was a black whiteboard marker along the bottom shelf. House was sitting upright in the hospital bed, with a layer of white sheets over top of his lower half. I was sitting in a stool in front of the bed, holding another marker.

      We were writing down different words on the board in some sort of game. I only remember one: House wrote "fouche" on the board while I was turned away, and I asked him what that word meant. He stuck his tongue out at me and I saw a splot of ink on it.

      He must have written the word with his tongue.

      The last thing he said was, "it's the art of writing with your tongue. Duh!" That last word, he said with his classic House-ism tone.

    6. Werewolves, Old house, and Scary guy.

      This is My first Dream journal, so Hang with me as it may not be written perfectly.

      My Dream starts off with me running into a theme park, with the gate being that like the one at a beach near my house.
      Once through the gate, I hear cops start to turn on their sirens and then start to chase me, as I zigzag through the them park I forget everything else and then notice myself back at my old house.
      From there the few friends with me and Myself soon realize that we have all become werewolves, yet we do not need the moon to turn. So we play around and a bit, and the next thing i know is one of my friends has transformed from a werewolf to a dinosaur with a huge mouth and alot of teeth. He then tries to eat me, with no avail because us being werewolf are strong enough to hold him back. Bad news though, we all of a sudden get bit by a bug, which we realize is the anti were wolf bug which then slowly but surely makes us transform into a normal werewolf, one which can only turn on a night of the full moon. This means a sure death to use because the dinosaur friend will have us for dinner. As soon as i reach that thought, everything changes, no more werewolves, no more dinosaur, just me, My friend Matt, and another friend. Then i feel an urge to look at my back window and there is a man standing there, staring at me. It makes me feel very uncomfortable and i soon realize he should not be hear, he disappears, but my friends and i run to the front door to see he is in that window laughing, my Friend Matt in the dream then looks at me with a petered look on his face which scares the life out of me. We open the door to find this man yet to only be surrounded by 100 of him laughing at us. I then wake up.

      I have been trying to figure out what this man in my dream is, weather he is a symbol for something, another dreamer, or just my imagination being scary.

    7. Crawling up to the Chimney

      I went to bed at 3:00 AM last night and I was very tired.

      It was fairly dark outside, the area illuminated by street lights, and I was in the yard in the front of an unknown friend's house, possibly for a party. Their house was two stories and all brick, except for the door and two large windows that looked like oak wood. There were a lot of people in the grassy front yard, I'm guessing at least twenty.

      I heard this strange noise that sounded like a cross between a squeak and a balloon popping behind the house. A strange man rushed out from the back of the house (which was illuminated like the front and not dark) and said, "the chimney's blocked".

      Now, I had my own idea of getting it fixed but my friend probably wouldn't approve of it.

      I snuck over to the side of the house, which was completely flat brick and there was nothing to grab onto. I went around to the back, which was lit up by two large circular lights on either side, and saw that in the middle of the house, there was a long rectangular indent. This indent went all the way up from the ground to the roof, and it was a few feet deep. There were irregularly-shaped pipes coming out from the walls of this indent which I used to climb up the wall.

      I had to grab the walls of the house itself a few times, because some parts had no pipe. I punched holes in the paper-thin brick walls to pull myself up.

    8. Lexus and skydiving

      Again I didn't have very good recall, I actually suspect that I had a few lucid moments but didn't maintain them very long.

      I'm driving a Lexus except it doesn't use normal controls it uses a Wiimote kind of thing. Some of my old school friends are there. Walter from fringe is in the car and comments about the heated seats at some point. We're traveling towards the yacht club in the town where I grew up. Instead we go to my house and I argue with my dad about being late. I try to find my own car to leave and can't find it.

      not sure if this is the same dream or a new one... Some girls that I knew from school are at the same house as above, the house and next door are busy undergoing alterations. We go inside... the dream fades

      I sky dive with some of my friends into carrington road from very low altitude. One friend opens his shoot too late but lands on it and he's fine. We pack our chutes hoping to find a place to base jump.
    9. Romeo and Juliet

      I dreamed that I was going to see a production of Romeo and Juliet, which was completely different to the original. I was in the dressing room with a male friend (can't remember who or they were indistinguished) and we were fighting with bright pink plate spinning sticks, the ones that clowns use. Another friend was actually acting in the play, I can't really remember who it was but I have a feeling they were female. Some older people were sitting down in the dressing room discussing the play and for some reason some of the background music from House was playing. I commented on the music to someone, but his reply was really disjointed and strange.

      I feel like such an idiot for not questioning really strange things in my dreams and becoming lucid haha.

    10. Chilling with the Cast of House

      I was in a room that looked very similar to the one below; the walls were mostly toned-down warm hues that created a modern look, and the furniture was nearly the same too. This was the "diagnosing room" of the television show House, M.D., which means it was in a hospital, and that also means there were doctors in the room.

      I was leaning against the wall while House's team sat at the table, observing them for a few instances. There weren't speaking, but looked restless and agitated.


      Uncharacteristically, House himself wasn't present at the meeting, but I do remember everyone else being there besides Foreman (the man on the far left).


      I must have known what was happening because just then, Foreman walked into the room with a serious and slightly upset look on his face. "It's not good," he announced, placing a thin folder of results on the glass table.There was nothing on it before. "There's bleeding in his brain; he only has a few hours to live."

      Everyone looked at each other and got up, leaving the room through an open door. I watched everyone leave but then became slightly confused; weren't they forgetting me, still sitting in the corner over here?

      "Guys?"

      They didn't even look back as they leave.

    11. The Hissing Cat

      I took a nap a few hours ago as I was tired; this dream is the result of it.

      It was light outside, and this light was spilling into the room of this fairly modern house. The room was no more than fifteen by fifteen feet, and there was one square archway in the center of one wall. In the middle of the room was a pale burgundy mat with an intricate pale gold pattern and an old-fashioned dark wooden table with the kind of legs that curl up. The flooring was white marble tile with slightly darker grout; the dark marbling of it was only barely visible so it looked more like basic white tile.

      In the left-hand corner of the room, to the left of the archway, was a large potted tree, the dark green leaves amalgamating into somewhat of an egg shape.

      Although it didn't happen in the dream, I knew I was following a few cats around the house. I already saw a black one that rolled over and let me pet its belly, but now I was looking for another one. My sister appeared and I asked her, "where's the brown and white cat?"

      She pointed behind the tree, and there was the cat, lying down, half-hidden behind it. My sister disappeared and I knelt down to have a closer look. The cat curled around the pot a bit to get closer to me. It was white with a dark brown back, but its most striking feature was smaller dots of orange all over where the brown and white colors met. It looked at me with intent.

      I reached out to pet it, but I stopped advancing because its eyes had widened and its ears flattened. Its mouth opened but nothing came out. In a few moments, it returned to normal so I reached out even more, slower this time. I touched its head and it made an evil "mrrrrow..." noise as if to warn me to get my hand off. I took my hand off and as soon as I did that it got up, leaning towards me but not taking any steps. I lunged out slightly towards it as if to say "I'm the boss", towering over it, and it recoiled by flattening itself to the ground and wearing the cutest expression.

      Odd House:

      I was in a house in a dark room. The room was somewhat like a maze, but, a very small one and very easy as well. There seems to be an elephant after me and I'm trying to hide from it. I find a small place in the maze where I can hide but still see the elephant. I had a pillow with me which I used to hit him. If I recall correctly, I kept him looking towards my direction and sneaked out the other side and out into the lit corridor. I ran into a room which had some stuff from my parents. It had two of everything, one being something similar to a small telescope far as I recall.

      Thoughts: Probably the result of watching two action movies that day, but, c'mon an elephant chasing me?

    13. But I Don't Even Like Star Wars

      I was at my deceased grandmother's house with J and S ( c ). We were going to watch all six Star Wars movies twice over, and we did ( c ). My deceased aunt was there too, just milling around and giving us food ( c ).

      When we were finished I couldn't find my shoes. I was angry that someone had stolen them ( c ).

      My parents were there and told me to get in the car and forget about my shoes. I carried a giant cardboard tie-figher outside ( a,f ). Instead of a car my parents had a strange thing that was like a tie-fighter wing ( c ). We had to get inside it, but it didn't make sense because it was pretty flat. The frame could be moved around to let people get inside, which I did followed by my dad then my mum ( f,a ). Then my dad closed it and it shrunk back into a flat shape with us somehow still inside... ( f,c )


      Like the title says. I don't even like Star Wars, so it's really weird that I would dream about it.

      God. Dear god. I don't normally have nightmares, but this is a fucking whopper. I honestly have to get this out of my system. And don't think I'm overreacting, because while you may be able to read this, you'll never be able to read it.

      To understand why I don't become lucid, this is my logic: I'm watching horror movies on TV. That's all. But I can't help but be pulled into them as if they're reality. But that's not the real problem, because I really am becoming part of it. Now carry on.
      It's starts off innocently enough. A nightmare, to be fair, but nothing like what's to come. I'm a kid in this weird sort of daycare that seems to be in the middle of a desert on the outskirts of town. Suddenly, bombs (assisted by parachutes) slowly start drifting towards the ground. I can only crawl, but I have to get away. The bombs only blow up enough to kill one person within about a foot of it when it touches down, but there's plenty of em. I scream for everyone to get away, but no one listens. You'll come to realize in this dream no one ever listens. One kid, my best childhood friend in real life, dies. Thus the scarring begins. There's something dangerous outside. I take refuge (now I'm my normal age, late 14) in a hospital/bank/mansion called "Eurao" (it only holds that name as a bank, as a hospital or mansion it is nameless). This will come to be my life's worst decision. For there can be no escape from Eurao.

      Our responsibility (placed upon us by some boss, as at this point we're working for some reason) is to rescue all the people of this hospital. Me and a more informed buddy of mine were working on people in the second floor. He was telling about who I was assigned to. He said they were called throaters, people who for whatever reason want to be in the hospital so bad they totally wreck their trachea. There are two staircases to the second floor. I'm on one, and I notice the other is strange looking. When I investigate it, I discover that each step is actually a movable slab, used for housing morgue drawers. I then come to find everyone on the second floor is dead. And the third. I wished with all my heart I could save the poor kids in the surgery floors and intensive care, but there was no way. The second and third floor residents were now zombies, and they chased us back to the first floor. The mansion. Now try not to get lost, because my memory mostly falls apart here.

      What I do know: The house (or spirit of the house) is alive and malevolent. I also know it is testing us in scenes. Meaning there is one distinctive enemy or threat at a time, and never do threats overlap. And there is ever so slightly time between scenes to regroup. Now I don't remember much of this part. I believe someone died by the zombies. But then came Hook. His own little scene in himself, he wasn't what you'd expect of a dangerous killer. He looked homeless. HE wore a big brown robe made from some large sack. His hair was oily, orange, short, and in dread locks. He had one tool with him. A small toy scythe, maybe with a two inch blade. But it was razor sharp. How he worked: He would only kill one person. He would cut off a body part. He offered them the choice of what he should cut off, but no matter what it was you died. One more of my group died, and I had the horror of being in their POV at the time.

      Next thing I remember, I was isolated at the end of the house in one large room, home to the morgue stairs. I don't remember what happened, but it was big. After the scene, I ran to the other end of the mansion to the room where my friend was, alone. We were now the only ones alive. His POV. In this final scene, the house itself possesses a ceiling fan and wires. Only the ceiling fan could kill anyone it hit, and the wires were like tendrils, looking to strangle anything they could find. Now my friend had a gun. The only way he could stop this thing, kill the house, and save our lives was to shoot out the five lights attached to the fan. Which with five bullets, a faulty pistol, and the rapid movement of the fan, was very tough. But, coming to a very close call, he did it. He survived. We heard people coming in. We locked the doors (always the threat of zombies) and looked out the windows. They were family and friends, come to celebrate the end of whatever catastrophe had been occurring outside. As we turned around to greet them, a tendril shot across the room and pierced straight through my friend's head.

      I couldn't celebrate. Everyone but me had died. The house was still a threat but no one believed anything had really happened there. There is no greater stress than having knowledge that could save everyone's lives and not having them let you. I even got five of my closest friends into a car at one point and floored it, but I couldn't get away fast enough from the house. I pulled over to have an emotional breakdown and another person took the wheel. Ten minutes later we were back. But there was one person in the house I couldn't let stay. My sister. I made her promise me she'd get in her car and drive away, as far away as she could. I guaranteed her she would die today if she stayed. But her word was broken, just as everyone else's was. Then came Hook. He was back for round two. Now facing me. But I knew his tricks, his moves. I knew him now. I ended up pulling away in just the right time and stole the scythe and killed Hook. To my joy, my sister finally understood and left for good. To my dismay, no one else did.

      I come back inside, wandering a light-less corridor where I could swear we had night-lights to guide the way. I come to the main living area at the end of the hall and see a family friend there. But she's the only one, and eventually leaves. The TV comes on, and I know the face I see. It's the face of the house. After surviving once, the house knew it had to rid the world of the one that got away. I run to my bedroom. The lights go out and I hear movement. I break the window to the next room and jump through. I land in an impossible room, housing a machine of death made by the house. It was very Rube Goldberg, and almost resembled the game mousetrap. I knew there was nothing I could do, so I prayed. and right before I was crushed, the machine malfunctioned, then collapsed, then disappeared from existence. I'm now in the large room parallel to my bedroom, lights and all on. I hear a person coming down the hallway and lock the door. It's my mom. This is our house. My sister's fine and well in the next room. I've been watching too many horror movies...
    15. Minotaur army and random stuff

      Writing this down now more than 12 hours after I woke up so I might have lost some details.

      It started out with me and some friends in some house. We were making dinner. I was cutting cucumbers and salad and I noticed that the cucumbers got bad really fast. They became all soft and squishy while I was cutting them.

      At the same time there was like a party night or something outside and there were drunk people everywhere. After a while they started to invade our house for some reason xD. They were exactly like zombies. I fled to the attic of the house in which there was a ladder going up through a square hole in the roof. I knew that that was a special hole that let to another world and I climbed up.

      It became somewhat like a game. Me and some others were collecting items at a beach and the other people was nice. This part is really blurry but somehow I ended up being chased by some hunters tribe. They chased me to a house that was fugly. It was like 0.5*2 meters wide and broad while it was maybe 20 meters high. Imagine the shape you would get if you stacked like 1000 mattresses on each other. It had a rope on the outer wall hanging from the roof and I climbed it all the way up. Then I clinged to the roof while the tribe threw rocks at me. The rocks somehow caused the house to sway back and forth in wide slow movements as if it was made of something soft. It swayed so much that they could almost reach me in the extreme positions.

      I knew that a minotaur army was approaching the land. I took the opportunity to sneak away from the house to the place where the minotaurs flooded forth. They rushed along some castle wall and I lured them to the same place as the tribe to make the minotaurs attack the tribe (all of this I didn't really do physically. It was more like that I thought it and it made it happen while I was watching kinda). After this action I knew that people thought I died when I disappeared from the roof. I went to the beach and someone who looked like gandalf was there lol.
