    1. Futuristic Hovercraft Scooter Racing LD

      by , 02-14-2014 at 11:53 PM
This is my first DJ entry on dreamviews.. a pretty awesome dream from last night!

I have been setting my dream intentions before bed for the past 2 weeks to go hoverboarding on the moon, or to travel through space, so this dream kind of incorporated both of these into something different.

I was in some futuristic town which I think might have been levitating in the sky. It may have been on another planet. I knew that some race was going on using these open-top futuristic hover board type platforms that you stand facing forwards on, and had a handle like a push scooter that you used to steer them. My brother was going to be competing, and before the race was starting since it was a few hours before, I got the idea that I really wanted to test out his craft.

I walk out to some beautiful porch type area which is several hundred feet in the air, and at the edge of the town, with stone or granite floors and flower beds on the raised areas, pretty tropical trees and plants every few feet, with a little roof extension over the dropoff. Everything was extremely vivid. There was a clear blue sky, and I could see clouds below me and a beautiful landscape beneath. It looked alot like an altered version of the porch you have in your room on Phantasy Star Online 2, a futuristic Japanese MMORPG. Next to the porch was an area with the levitating vehicle where you could step right into the vehicle and about 150 feet ahead, head into the racing tunnel. During that 150 feet, you are flying above the huge drop down to the planet below! I think I had 2 tickets in my hand, which must have been for the race or to be able to take a ride on the vehicle. I stepped onto the hovercraft and turned it on. I believe I became somewhat lucid at this point because I felt I had control over my actions. I started to move forwards, and as I left the area to step onto the craft, I looked back and saw a beautiful girl running up to the edge to join me.. I looked down at my hand and saw the two tickets and knew that I had got the other one for her. I had already left though and it was like it was too late to turn back.. there were no brakes or reverse that I could find..

I continued forward looking back at her and was upset that she wasn't able to join me.. As I made it to the entrance of the tunnel though, I felt excitement and adrenaline take over though! I began speeding through the tunnel which had turns, cool multicolored lights, a center barrier with exotic plants in it, and the occasional space in the middle to be able to turn around into the other lane. The lane on the other side was for the way back, like the returning lane during the race after you had made it to the other end of the tunnel. I looked down on the craft and found that there was a turbo mechanism you could turn on and it would give you a temporary boost in speed! It was like being in a futuristic racing video game first person! When I turned the boost on, the craft hurdled forwards much faster, and as I stood back up I saw that also in the racing lane, there were boost pads on the ground placed periodically as well. I wasn't sure whether these recharged your boost or gave you a temporary boost of speed as well, but when I passed over one, I got another huge boost in speed! It was a little bit scary since it was my first time driving this craft and wasn't exactly sure how to handle it perfectly, but was exhilarating none the less! I looked ahead on the track and saw that there was a circular red raised pad on the ground, kind of like in Sonic, which launches you in the air! I got scared that I would lose control if I went over one of these since it would launch me in the air, but as I neared closer, I got the urge to try anyways! Right before hitting the red launcher, I leaned back to brace myself and try to keep the craft upright in the air. As I hit it, it launched me about 10 meters (30ft) or more in the air! It kind of threw the craft around a little bit, but I was able to keep control, but as soon as I came back to the ground and gained control, I saw that immediately after the first one was a second!! I immediately hit the second one and again launched wayyy up into the air! It was awesome! As I landed again, I had a lot of speed. I believe I activated the turbo one more time afterwards, and went around a few curves on the track.

Once I had flown through a little more of the track I realized it might be a good idea to turn around and go back, and had a feeling that I had either already gone too far or that I shouldn't even be in there and was going to be in trouble for driving there. I searched for brakes, but realized that I either couldn't find them, or that the craft didn't even have brakes to slow down! When I realized this, I came up with the idea to just bust a hard left through one of the openings in the center barrier, and to turn back onto the oncoming track. I went for it, and leaned all of my weight to the left, and had to actually take my left foot off and put it down on the ground and do a sliding left turn with my foot on the ground kind of like on a scooter or motorcycle ha! I was able to maneuver it and do the 180 turn back onto the oncoming track.

I began heading this way back towards the beginning to take the craft back to where I got it from. After only driving this direction for about 30 seconds to a minute, I saw some people come onto the track on foot and block the area where I was headed. I began to panic and knew that I was in trouble and that they were trying to get me to stop. As I neared closer, I felt that I needed to try and get around them. I got closer, and slowed the craft down to make them think I was coming to a stop. When I was about 10 feet away, I went to the left, and swerved around the person trying to get me to stop. It took a moment to build speed back up and I was worried that even on foot they might be right behind me chasing after me and about to hop on the back of the craft to stop me! I was panicking and couldn't even look back and just gave it my all to try and speed ahead away from them. I saw another person in the distance preparing to do the same as the others, so again, I did the same thing as before! I was able to get past them as well, barely, and continued down the path.

My heart was pounding and adrenaline pumping, and believe I woke up at this point because I can't remember whether I made it back or not, but had plans in the dream in that point to make it back to the girl. It was a really exciting and fun dream, and somewhat what I've been telling myself I'd like to dream about before bed. The dream intention I've been setting though has been to ride a hoverboard on the moon and to travel through outerspace.. so I don't know if this was my subconscious interpretation of this but it was awesome nonetheless! Hope you enjoyed the read!

    2. Longest Lucid to this Day

      by , 02-12-2014 at 03:34 AM
      Feb 10-11 2014 (Lucid)

      The Chronicle Dream
      * *I had a dream about the movie chronicle. I was a character with super powers alongside about 2 or 3 other friends and we were in a warehouse hiding from people looking for us.

Space, Summoning, Dragon Dogs, TotM's, and Reviving Zombies (Lucid)
*This lucid was very long, and several times I woke up but went back into the dream through DEILD technique. It was also hard to recall absolutely everything I did just due to the sheer length and detail of the dream*
      * *Realized I was lucid. I knew I wanted to get to space, and an elevator was probably my best bet. I scan my surroundings and see some large skyscrapers in the distance, and knew they had to have elevators. I run over to them, crossing streets, sidewalks, and train tracks to get there. I stop at the nearest one, figuring I can figure it out with this one. I go around the side of the building and see 2 elevators in a section of the wall. I went to the elevator, and pressed the "up" button on it to call the elevator. It opened immediately so I stepped inside.
      * *It was a fairly deep elevator, but the buttons were to my left just on the wall. I noticed there were only about 10 buttons and thought to myself that wouldn't work, so I waved my hand over the buttons to add more and a few more popped up. I wanted more so I did it again, but this time many disappeared. I do it one last time and a whole bunch appear, and I figured it was enough. I notice the text on the buttons keeps changing and the numbers are not consistent. Either way, I choose a high up button, and the elevator starts moving up.
      * *It arrives fairly quickly on a high floor and I step out. I'm reminded of being in the John Hancock tower in Chicago as people were eating and just sitting around there looking out of the big windows. Looking out of the windows myself, I notice it was sunny in the sky with clouds extending forever in every direction. I start to be disappointed, but tell myself I can work with it. I remember techniques from DV to kind of trick your memory and what not so I decide to try it here. I told myself that we really were in space and what the windows were showing were just holograms chosen by the people inside. One of the hostesses kind of agreed with me and soon bright nebulae started to form in the sky. Giant twirling mushroom like things, large wormlike colorful nebula clouds, and other incredible sights starting passing by.

      * *I decide to try a few other things while I'm in the building. I thought about doing some task of the month while I was at it, but had trouble remembering them. I get slightly angry since I helped partly come up with some of the tasks, but then remember the soulmate task. I asked who my soulmate was to a girl nearby, but I forgot what she said! I know she didn't specify a name and said something along the lines of I didn't need one, but I can't fully remember.
      * *I also decide to try to summon a celebrity. I start thinking of female celebrities that I like, and Taylor Swift comes to mind, then Selena Gomez. I decide to summon Selena Gomez. A technique comes to mind from DV where I stick my hand behind me and then believe they'll grab it and then pull them into view. So I thrust my hand backwards and kind of say "come on up here" trying to beckon her into existence. I feel my hand get grabbed by another, and pull the person forward and, sure enough, Selena Gomez is the one attached to my hand. I'm ecstatic. We head over to a couch to sit down and talk, but I don't think much is actually said.
      * *I also remember the task to dig your heart out and give it to someone. I knew there were plenty of DCs around to give my heart to, so I just started trying to dig my fingers through my chest. I'm normally able to phase through walls fine, but my fingers just did not want to penetrate my chest. After trying a little longer, I decide I'll try it later with another way of doing it.
      * *At some point later in the same dream I'm just outside the building, back on the ground. I remember I want to ride a dragon, so I start calling out for dragons. I think of Eragon and how he calls out with his mind, so I yell out for Eragon's dragon, Saphira, with my mind as loud as I can. Doing so, I notice far in the distance two dragon are climbing all over a large building, and I call out to it with my mind. It reacts and starts flying over to me. When it lands I notice it's some sort of dragon hybrid with the body of a very large Rottweiler dog, and the wings of a dragon. I think it's perfect and it lets me on it's back. It takes off and we go a bit in the air, and it decides to land after just a little bit. When it lands it actually falls over and I kind of hop off. I notice it's a lot smaller than when I first saw it, especially the wings. It told me it wasn't used to being ridden, but I thought that was off since he's mine, and should be used to being ridden.
      * *Later I remembered the task of reviving a zombie. So I start looking around for a zombie, and notice that my DCs seem to have all pretty much disappeared. I reach this small wooden cabin, when I see this figure in ice at the edge of the porch. Realizing this is the zombie I was looking for, I run up to it, and think of ways to thaw it. I decide to just use hot breath to melt the head portion and free it's face first. So I tilt it on the ground and start exhaling all over the face. It's slow at first, but soon it just all sorta melts away.
      * *I notice immediately that the zombie trapped inside is my co-worker I, but with a green face. I think that it is weird she was the one my brain picked to be infected, and also weird how it's not a very gory face, just green. She notices me and scowls, and starts trying to break free from her icy prison. I realize I can score bonus points here by reviving with a kiss, so I swoop down and kiss her for a brief second.
      * *When I stop I notice the ice has all melted and she is back to normal, although looks offended that I kissed her without her permission, and then she walks away. I think oh well, at least I accomplished the task.
      * *Later in the same dream I created a whirlpool. I was in a boat and we were just headed somewhere. I think it'd be cool to just create a whirlpool, so I think about it, and the boat starts turning right, and the waves get more rough. I realize I'm creating it the wrong way and won't get to see it since I'm looking out the left side, so I somehow just flip the direction of the whirlpool and I see the center start forming out in the distance.
      * *I wonder what things I'll see when we go down the center, but am interrupted by attacks from whale/narwhal creatures. Our boat is fighting back, but knowing it's a dream, I just kinda fling them back and forth with my mind, but it's not doing much good. It's now stormy and rainy out and I wonder how much control I actually have at that point, then I wake up and can't get back in.

    4. Dream Tennis

      by , 01-31-2014 at 12:18 AM
I've forgotten completely how I became lucid, but I became lucid at one point and I only remember the following after that, so no point in color-coding.

I'm in my house upstairs with my brother Zach. Once I go lucid, I attempt to recall any dream goal of mine, but struggle with it and eventually give up. Instead, not wanting to waste LD time, I turn to Z (who knows I'm dreaming) and say, "Show me something interesting."

He cooperates and leads me outside. Like my house, the street looks much like it would in waking life, but the sunlight was extremely bright, the grass a vivid bright green, and there just seemed like there was an aura of happiness resting over the dreamworld. I smile, taking in this sight for a moment, and then Zach jumps and takes flight from the ground. I follow him up, and the moment I'm in the air, I notice the area past my street is much different than it should've been. He began flying away in a straight direction and I follow him, looking around at the massive town as I did so. It was completely and utterly random at this point--colorful structures and tall skyscrapers stuck up in every direction, with the woods bordering everything around. My interests are piqued as I wonder what Zach's going to show me.

Eventually we float back down to the ground, in which he leads me into a small, square, basic dark building. Inside the ground is all carpet, the lights are dim, and people are chit-chatting in every direction. It was very dark, but the atmosphere was very welcoming, much like a bar or a small party.

Zach leads me to the left and the right again into a large room where electronic music played in the background with a couple of bars and something interesting in the center--a small tennis court with maybe 3-4 people on each side. Most of the people looked like older teenagers, say around 15-19. They're playing...tennis, but with a few peculiarities. Firstly, they're playing with their hands (much like volleyball). The ball was mostly transparent, but the clear ball was surrounded with an intricate glowing orange design that left a motion blur behind it in the air and was quite easy to see. There seemed to be no way to take score--players just played until they got bored. The biggest difference to this kind of tennis and IWL tennis was the fact that the physics were very trippy. At the weirdest moments the ball would go in slow-motion, or shoot towards the ceiling, or fly past the players towards the wall.

Zach explained to me, "This is dream tennis. Kind of an interesting sport, I think. Do you want to try it out?"

I nod and grin and Zach and I join one of the teams together, and we play a few rounds. At first I mostly suck (no, really, I blatantly made the ball hit the 2-foot-tall net at one point), and I'm teased by my teammates about this, but I eventually (and proudly) get the hang of it. At one point in the middle of the game I question Zach as to why it's not called dream volleyball since you play with your hands. He only says, "I don't know, I didn't make the rules, I'm only a dream character!"

All in all the game and the dream itself was rather strange yet fun, and I totally wouldn't mind playing dream tennis again in a later LD. Eventually I wake up after a few rounds and I DEILD back to sleep, though the contents of the dream that followed are a bit more... private.

On a side-note, I remember a non-lucid dream fragment from earlier in the night where I was playing one of my favorite MMORPGs called Mabinogi, but that's all I can remember from that.

    5. Electrical Stars

      by , 01-29-2014 at 09:35 PM
(I know I haven't done any DJ entries like ever, which is why I plan to change that. )

      non-lucid lucid awake/other stuff
backstory: Austin is an 8-year-old DC from a vivid non-lucid I had a couple of years ago, involving a plot of him being traumatized from visiting a wicked haunted house and me trying to help him. I eventually died at the end of the dream (because of said haunted house) and it was partially my fault, so I came up with the goal last week of seeing him in a lucid dream and apologizing, then trying to help him again (you can say I'm really attached to my DCs).

The dream starts off a little strange (you know, like most dreams do). I'm in public school--currently in virtual school IWL and being in public school is a common dreamsign for me that I've managed to miss--with old classmates in the gym. We were in what were like lab desks with 2 people at each desk, and our fairly b**chy reading teacher was in the gym with us for some reason, showing us some sort of sitcom that "I'd seen before" (false memory). Yup, in a school I'm not even in anymore, sitting at desks in gym class, our reading teacher supervising us, watching a sitcom.
      It didn't make much sense.
Like most people I wasn't really paying attention to the show, just talking to others. We were never given questions on the show, so why bother watching? Eventually there's this random skip where I'm in a giant Wal-Mart with Mom, and of course I was obsessing over the candies and ice cream that were there. I don't remember much of this part, only that it was big and huge and grand and wonderful, much unlike a typical Wal-Mart. Anyway, eventually there's another weird skip (maybe the start of a new dream) where it's much later in the day; to be precise, bedtime. I have a schedule in the house for going to bed; I say good night to my friends online, I shut down my computer, Dad gives me my anxiety medication, I say good night to my parents, and then I go to bed.
All goes well until I try to shut down the computer. I'd been playing a rhythm game called "osu!" (been quite addicted to it lately) and even after I had shut down the computer, a demo or replay of the game would keep playing itself against the black monitor. The computer was off, so how could that have happened? This seriously concerns me, so I go into the kitchen to find my tech whiz dad preparing my medicine and explain what's going on.
I expected some sort of logical answer or fix from him or at the very least for him to go check out what's going on, but all I get is, "That's strange."
Annoyed, I stood there trying to think of what could've happened. Why was a computer still running if it had no power? Then
suddenly everything clicked together, and I realized I was dreaming. Dad looked at me the moment I realized--didn't say anything, didn't do anything, just looked at me--as I did a quick RC to make sure I was really dreaming. I thought of what I would do, and remembered my goal instantly, then turned to Dad who had put down my medicine and was still looking at me, and I asked,
"Did you know that you're part of my dream?"
      "Yes I do."
      "Will you help me?"
      "Yes I will."
What do you know, a cooperative DC for once.
I flew out the kitchen window and Dad followed me, but I was immediately unsettled by the darkness of the night. No, really, it was pitch black outside. I didn't like the idea of not being able to see the area, so I decided I would make it daytime. First I tried going back inside and, when looking away from the window, deciding it would be daytime. It didn't work. I realized I had to be more creative with it and--I can't remember if I came up with it or if my dad suggested it--but I decided I would use a lightswitch to light up the world. I summoned a lightswitch on the back of our house, and without further ado, flicked it up. What I expected was it to become suddenly daylight. What actually happened was much more extraordinary than that--it wasn't daytime, but above my head, all the stars in the sky began to 'light up' and glow white and silver one at a time. The sky tinted a lighter blue as a response--not daytime blue, but not like the space-like black-blue it was before. What looked like thin, white, electrical waves passed between all the stars here and there, which were still glowing a bright and beautiful white. The area was lit up almost instantly as if it was nearly daytime. It was an absolutely tremendous image, especially since I was right under it.
After a minute of being awestruck at the stars in the sky, I eventually start flying around with Dad thinking about what I was going to do. I can't remember why, but even though I planned to stick to my goal and I knew my time was limited, I wanted to spend some time exploring the dreamworld. Unlike our typical backyard out the window it was all forest or plains, with no other civilization around. I came across some beautiful structures that were simply there as art--a variety of colors, textures, shapes and sizes, all towering up to the clouds. Eventually I found the Wal-Mart from earlier in the dream, though completely empty and could be easily stolen from.
(pssht, do you really think I'd steal from there?)
We turn around and I notice something a little more eerie: there was a wooden post stuck into the ground, and surrounding it were stuffed animals sitting against it tied to the post. Well, most of them were stuffed animals, anyway--there was a single live chicken tied to the post, looking right at me. I approached it with a curious mindset, but the chicken was hostile, trying to get to me and preparing to attack me. Eventually, to my surprise, it rips its way from the post and heads towards me. I'm more confused than afraid, especially since I felt no pain or really, no anything when it started pecking at my ankles. I summon and draw a sword from my side, attempting to kill it, but everytime the blade touched it, the chicken would multiply itself and all the chickens would continue to try to attack me. I just stand there unharmed and confused, and look up to Dad. He smiles at me, then looks at the chickens, shouts "Look!" (in which all the chickens look up at him), and then makes a sort of shoving movement with his arms. When he does, poof, the chickens just vanish, leading a cloud of smoke behind them at my feet.
I grinned and thanked him as I felt myself waking up.
I let it happen, preparing to DEILD.
When I'm awake I slowly peek my eyes open to roughly check the time by how light it was in my room. It's light out, so I know it's morning. I cut straight to business this time and start envisioning Austin's house in front of me. Eventually, I'm back in the dream.
For some reason I'm in a third-person camera view when I start the dream, so I take this opportunity to look around the wooden, low-class house for a moment. Then I force myself to get back into my dream body maybe twenty feet before his front door.. Dad's standing a good distance behind me, continuing to accompany me, but giving me privacy for my goal.
I don't have to go to his front door--Austin bursts out the door, and runs toward me with a big grin preparing to hug me. I fall to my knees and hold out my arms as well, and the exceptionally short 8-year-old boy gives me a big, long hug. I was preparing to give him a big long emotional speech and then try to help him, but what came out was quite different. I think I'm crying at this point, and I tell him I'm sorry maybe about a thousand times, in which he just says, "It's okay. You don't have to be sorry. I'm just happy you're here."
We stay like that for maybe a minute, and I'm both happy and sad, and eventually I can feel myself waking up again (in response to a familiar noise, I think my dog jumping off my bed and being let outside by my dad for the morning).
I let it happen, again, and feeling some sort of relief and closure, I finally get up for the day.

    6. Exploring a huge house

      by
      LDQ
      , 01-26-2014 at 03:22 PM
I was having trouble falling asleep after the last dream and was twisting and turning in bed for a while until I realized I had seen 2 dreamscapes form but not stabilize - one was a video game and the other I don’t recall. So this made me think that this is probably a good time to try to WILD and after a while I find myself in the dream although I don’t recall how I got there and I don’t remember actually entering the dream. I think more happened before the point from which I recall the dream but i just don’t remember it. Anyway I find myself walking through a house and exploring the rooms. I am going through some room where it’s kind of like a mini labyrinth and I have to make right turns like 3-4 times and as I get to the end I imagine findning and hot girl at the end but there is nothing there. I keep searching and I come to a room that is sort of split up in two parts and is also very much like a labyrinth and I hear a shower running. I go through one part of the room and come to a bathroom where the running shower sound was coming from and in there I find a tall black woman with light skin and she is turned away from me. She has a nice ass and then she turns around and her face is pretty ugly. I tell her "sorry, I am mistaken" and I leave. I feel my dream starting to destabilize but I want to get to the door leading out of here before restabilizing. I get in front of the door and I start spinning. Once I stop I open the door but it feels like I need to spin in the other direction a bit and I do like half a spin to stabilize and I’m good to go. I keep looking through the house and the next room I come to is empty and there is a black desk standing in this room that looks like an office. I decide I want to break this desk with just my bare hand. I slam my hand down on it but it does’t break...fortunately it doesn’t hurt me either. I then think that I should have no problems breaking this desk with my hand so I try again and in fact I don’t even hit it as hard and this time it breaks in half but my arm doesn’t go all the way through. So the desk is sort of broken but the two parts are still held together slightly. I think I just push my arm through it to break it. As I’m heading out of the room I see a lot of clatter and there is some object that’s close to the exit and I move it telekinetically...well it only moves a little and not as much as I wanted to...I intended to just shove it out of the way completely and it moved maybe a few inches. I walk out of this room and keep going through the house but now I’m starting to feel my breath being hot and heavy and it makes me think that my real body is in bed and I have the covers over my nose and mouth and in fact I start feeling the covers get wet with saliva and I have trouble breathing. I do my best to ignore it and I think I try breathing through my mouth and my nose gets congested. I’m able to keep going though, but thinking retroactively I should have just completely ignored these sensations of my real body. Anyway, next I get to a room that is sort of open and not surrounded by walls completely and in fact I can see way outside this room but I realize that what I’m seeing is not fully formed and my dream is destabilizing. I start spinning to stabilize the dream and I decide to actually just teleport out of here and go where there are a bunch of SOIs. As I continue spinning everything goes black and I’m in this void spinning and I feel my feet still going in the motion to make me spin. I continue spinning for maybe 5-10 seconds waiting for a dream to form but I wind up waking up. Interesting to note that my blanket was not covering my nose and mouth and I was lying on my belly with the side of my face on the pillow and nothing was obstructing my breathing.
    7. Fishing gets weird and a DC tells me that I'm dreaming

I’m fishing at the small lake upstate near the bungalow colony we used to go to years ago. I first catch a little fish and then continue fishing with a regular fishing rod without a spinning. The line is very short and I can barely cast it into the water so I move down some rocks to get closer tp the water. The water looks really muddy but as I cast my line I’m able to see the fish in the water attacking the bait. First it’s small fish that swarm the worm on my hook and then a bigger fish comes and bites. But as I’m pulling it out it seems that my bait is now a fish and the other fish has it by it’s tail so I know I can’t get it out as it’s not on the hook yet. After a while of this I get a a fish on the hook and I try pulling it out but I can’t. I pull the fishing rod up as much as I can but the line now seems too long and I grab the line with my hands and start trying to pull it in. After a little while of struggling with the line I see the contour of the fish in the water and it is humongous...looks like a shark. There is someone behind me and I call them over to look at it. After a while the line is no longer in the water and now it’s above ground and I try follow it to my fish. I wind up going over some fence and up on the roof of some house and track the line down some pipe that goes down into the house. I open a part of the pipe but then this kind of freaks me out a little and I leave it alone and then I get off the roof and now I’m walking out of some room in the house and behind me there is a DC (probably the same one from before) and I say something like this is really weird and he says that this may be a dream (this is the first time a DC has ever told me this might be a dream). All of a sudden I realize that this is probably true and I look at my hands and on my right hand I think I have 6 fingers and I know I’m dreaming. I think I go to give the DC a high five and then I start rubbing my hands but after a few seconds I wake up.

      Lucid Non-lucid
I was in the bathroom fixing my hair. I walked out and as soon as I walked out I became lucid, everything was normal but seemed a littleeee bit fuzzy. not that much, it seemed like it was real life.

Anyways, I tested the dream control, worked a little bit. I we on the couch in the living room that my dad was laying on, I went on my stomach and said "When i lay here, I expect to float" I did a little. I went to my mom and said "Im dreaming!" and she said "what are u talking about?". I showed her i can fly a little so I jumped and moved forward and I could fly. She said "I still don't believe you" (like flying isn't enough for her..) I did stabilization too much and i think I soon lost lucidity

I went in the living room. I was sitting on the small couch and my moms room door closed. I said "what happened?" we got scared. Then the phone went floating away and I don't remember the rest

I’m in the street under a train line and as I’m walking I’m thinking about it being morning already and I haven’t had a single lucid tonight. Then it occurs to me - what if I’m dreaming right now? I look at my hands and I realize that I am in fact dreaming, even though my hands look quite normal...I just know. I do a couple of RCs - finger through the palm and pinched nose and they both work. I start rubbing my hands to stabilize and then I spin but it feels uncomfortable rubbing my hands and spinning at the same time so I stop the rubbing. I spin one more time around and it gets a little bit more stable but not completely. I start walking around a little bit and realize that I have a very heavy book-bag on my back and I drop it to the ground by just taking the straps off my shoulders. I turn around and I want to kick this book-bag really hard and I see up ahead about 30-40 feet away there is a doorway with a sign on top. I kick the book-bag real hard in that direction (this thing is huge and heavy) and it goes flying but just off target and I use telekinesis to aim it and hit the sign. The sign explodes and a piece of it goes flying at me and almost hits me in the face. I then see a woman turned away from me. She’s close to that same doorway and I decide I want to throw her against the wall for some reason. I try to do it but it doesn’t work. I then levitate her up in the air and try to do it again but she just floats down to the ground. I then levitate her up again and I start moving her around doing funny dance moves like shaking her butt (she’s wearing a short skirt...like very very short). People around me are laughing and it’s pretty funny how’s she’s floating around and doing funny dance moves. Anyway after a few seconds of that I wake up. I try to DEILD back in but it doesn’t work and I give up to record my dream so that I don’t risk forgetting it later.
    10. January 23, 2014 Lucid #2

      by , 01-24-2014 at 03:25 AM (A Dreamer's Dreams)
      Journal Entry Lucid #2 Dream,Lucid Dream , non-dream (Comments)
Background: I woke up around 3 and I tried to make some music on my computer. I read just a little bit. I did 2 or 3 reality checks just because. I didn't read Stephan LaBarge's book like I usually do. I was very sad. I tried to go to sleep at first and failed. I read my vows then I tried to go back to sleep. I started listening to some music. As I was listening to the music I imagined myself crushing all my problems. Destroying it from the Earth. I told my self it wasn't good that I am destroying but it was for a noble reason, freedom. I kept doing this. I didn't know that their was some emotional tension because I began to cry while doing the visualization. I went to sleep wanting a lucid dream but accepted the fact that I may not get one and I just wanted to sleep.

Dream fragment 2 from 4:40am-5:22am"": It was pitch dark and I found myself in the hallway of my house. I started hearing these loud vibration sounds. I thought who could be making all those sounds. Fear came in my mind. I then saw my grandma's room light so I thought maybe she is brushing her teeth in her room. I was about to use bathroom but it was too dark to pee, so I tried to turn on the light. It didn't turn on. I thought, "that's odd it took it a while to turn on" then realized it didn't turn on. I became lucid. I then ended up on my bed I tried to stay in dream, but it was pitch black so I gave up. I then awoken but I did WBTB right away. I didn't move my body. I started feeling the vibrations along with some nice sensations. I wasn't too scared of the vibrations this time. I thought to myself I can go back into this dream. I was in my room again. I knew it wasn't my physical body so I tried to wiggle out of this paralysis that I felt in the dream. I tried furiously and failed. I tried to move, nothing. So, I thought to myself I should just try and keep my awareness. I then heard these two guys talking outside my room. I tried listening to what they were saying. I was scared and I found my body on the floor next to my closet. I could move now, so I started to move my hands. The dream started to fade. I woke up in my room and the light was on. I looked at my hands, not reality check. I thought since I could see the room it was not a dream and with that thought I woke up.

    11. Incredibly Chronological Dream and Two Lucids

      by , 01-23-2014 at 06:57 PM (Raven's Roost)
Wow, last night was the most productive dream night I've ever had. Throughout the whole night, the same dream stretched chronologically and completely context logically. Rare indeed. The whole dream was spent with me either hanging out with or texting my friend Celeste, who I haven't seen in years. There was a bit of romance but mainly it was just a refreshing dream about friendship.

My first lucid came about while we were driving around hanging out.

I am in the passenger seat and Celeste is driving. Its a warm summer day and we have the windows rolled down, Celestes hair is playfully being tossed by the wind. I look outside and we are driving on a dirt road, completely surrounded by tall wild grass, wheat fields, and cornrows. We make our way up a slowly slanting hill and she finally pulls over. "This is it!" she says excitedly as she gestures out the window. A lone tree sits upon the hill gigantic and majestic, looking older than god. I laugh and run up to it and begin to climb, when suddenly I become lucid. I hang on to the tree and feel its rough bark as clarity slowly comes to me. I remember wanting to try spinning instead of hand-staring as a stabilization technique, so when the dream begins to fade I use it and find it incredibly effective. Celeste laughs. "What are you doing??" I wave to Celeste, and keep a promise I made to myself do nothing sexual.

The field oozes summer. Pollen floats in the air, heat raises from the soil, and I can feel the sunbeams on my face. Absolute heaven. Remembering another thread I commented about flying techniques, I decide to try flying as its been a while since I last did it. I jump high in the air and slowly float down, most likely just psyching myself out. I laugh at myself and know I can do it, so on the second attempt I leap forward and stay elevated. I begin to levitate just over the wheat field, letting the wheat tickle my legs.

After a few moments of flying around, I come to the edge of the field and see a construction site through the thin forest. I land and begin walking around the construction site. I see a cement foundation filled with dirt that will be used for a house, and to make sure I'm still in control I will flowers to grow. I turn away briefly then look back, and the foundation has become overgrown with beautiful wild flowers. I walk deeper into the construction site but
lose lucidity before I can do much of anything else. I check my phone to see that six hours has passed and Celeste is worried. I tell her I'll be there in time for dinner and the scene changes.

My second lucid was super brief.

I attend dinner with Celeste and a husband and wife are there who my dream self recognizes as the owners to the small movie theater in town. Evidently we have history, as we laugh and talk for hours. Finally dinner is over, and everyone hugs and says goodbye. As the husband and wife are leaving, I feel a crunch in my mouth and pull out one of my bottom teeth. I look in the reflection of a car window and another falls out next to it. I smile to see if its noticeable, and, no surprise, it is. I begin to panic, then realize that strange dental things happen to me often in dreams. Bingo! I become lucid again and try spinning, but I'm aware of myself already waking up. I just stand there and enjoy how strange it is for your body to wake up when you're already "awake".

    12. Creepy dream that turned lucid!!! :O

      by , 01-20-2014 at 11:40 AM
In my dream, I was sitting in my computer room with my brother. There was also a psychologist sitting in a green plastic chair. She Had short straight black hair, and smiled a fake smile.

First she asked my brother if he had any competition lately. My brother didn't know. I suggested tennis.

Then the psychologist turned to me and asked "Remember the demon?"

I think she was referring to an old dream I had ages ago...which freaked me out a bit

I just smiled and laughed at her saying "Haha, we all go through those horror stages!"
In the corner of my eye, I saw my mother stand behind me.

(I became Lucid after my mum entered the room)

The Psychologist was smiling sweetly at me, but I looked into the reflection of a tv behind her. In the reflection she was glaring at me. She looked like she wanted to kill me. She had yellow eyes with flecks running through them.

I then had some kind of seizure and then fell to the floor. I was freaked out so I closed my eyes and pretended to be dead.

Then I woke up at 12:00am in the morning XD Feeling freaked out and scared.

    13. First Lucid-Learned to fly

      by , 01-20-2014 at 04:55 AM
My first lucid experience was about 3 weeks after initially starting to get into the idea of learning to LD.

I was in an Ice Rink playing hockey with a bunch of old friends, actually it was the group of friends I grew up playing hockey with. Few fights, bumps and bruises as hockey normally brings. We're walking out of the rink and as I was walking down the stairs outside it just hit me, I stopped and said "Holy #%#& I'm dreaming!!" Did a RC by putting thumb through palm, which is different than I normally do irl, I read somewhere that your brain can expect it not to work if you do the same one all the time so I switched it up. I got overly excited and remembered reading about that being too excited can pop you out the dream so I started focusing on my hands, examining them for a minute or so. When I looked up from my hands the landscape had changed to a field. I decided to try the basic dream fantasy of flying, looked up into the sky and just let the ground fall away from me and flew. It was one of the most exciting experiences of my life. It felt so freeing, and a calmness came over me.

For some reason I came across Superman who was teaching others to fly, I suppose because when you think of a person flying you picture him. After flying around for a while i landed and decided to try and summon some people from my past, specifically a women I met in South Korea while I was stationed there, I made a mistake by not pursuing our relationship further than I did and I wanted to apologize. Yes I know it's not real but it would make me feel better. I made the mistake of just trying to sit there and willing them to appear in front of me. Now I know the tricks so next time it'll work.

There were some other aspects that I can't recall and I can't find the piece of paper I wrote it down on, wasn't my normal DJ cause I had re-arranged my room and it wasn't where it should have been. But I just wanted to share this experience so hopefully other beginners can see this and have something to help them not lose hope. Part of me didn't think I'd be able to do it but here it is, and it's motivated me greatly to keep learning and trying new things to help me get there again. The SSILD seems to be what works best for me now.

    14. Waltzing in the Mansion - Lucid

      by , 01-19-2014 at 07:13 PM (Raven's Roost)
Just a small aside; not even two weeks after rejoining I've had three lucids... Knew being involved here would do the trick!

I had several small dreams last night, but they were dull so I'll cut to the chase.

I am sitting on a red velvet couch in an incredibly elegant ballroom. Red velvet curtains twenty feet high have been drawn across all the windows, and beautifully polished wood pillars stretch upwards fifty feet to the cathedral ceiling. A glimmering chandelier hangs above the ballroom floor, casting a golden hue across the room. I know I am waiting for someone, but whom I'm not sure.

Suddenly, a beautiful Latino woman tackles me off of the couch. Before I know whats happening, she begins hurling fireballs at me. I remember that I'm spider man, and I begin slinging around the room, even though my webs are invisible. Her flames are flying everywhere, but the room is impervious to fire or magic, as nothing catches. I sling some webs at her but they seem to have no affect. Finally, I hide behind one of the luxurious curtains and get a good look at her - gorgeous, and in a white dress with a large cleavage swoop and quite long train.

The beauty of both the place and the woman jolts me into lucidity. As soon as I become lucid she lowers her hands, and turns to look me in the eye, smiling. Most dream DC's I encounter go still and brain dead when I become lucid, but not this one. I walk slowly out from the curtain and I am suddenly in a tuxedo, and I have the overwhelming feeling that this is my ballroom. "You're finally awake!" she says with a smile, which I must admit creeped me out. Usually in my lucids whatever plot was occurring vanishes, but not so here.

"Dance with me" she requests, as the two of us embrace in fine ballroom posture. We begin sweeping around the ballroom in the most elegant waltz of all time. My heart is in my throat as I haven't had a lucid this clear in months. After a few moments of our sweeping dance, I try to recall the task of the month, and recall the basic one about asking New Years resolutions. The effort of remembering causes me to dance clumsily and nearly lose lucidity. I stop dancing to look at my hands and surrounding to anchor myself, and notice that the red paint of the walls has become a Christmas wallpaper of green gold and red. I look at her and her beauty makes me nervous to speak to her, even though I know its all a dream. I ask her her New Years resolution.

Suddenly, she sweeps me up and begins to lead like I was a few moments before. She is leading so hard that she seems to just pick me up and hover me across the floor in an aggressive dance. She spins me and dips me like a lady and I take this to mean her resolution was to take control, whether it be dancing or something deeper. I find it funny that I am being held in a dip, and I allow myself to
lose lucidity and wake up grinning.

      WHAT A COOL DREAM!
    15. A Chance To Test Out My Power!

      by , 01-15-2014 at 05:14 PM
In relevance to the title; often after becoming Lucid I follow the story line from the original dream to keep me entertained. However some dreams don't test you to your full potential, fortunately this one did.

I was having a dream where me and my brother Robbie where on the run from some sort of Korean army, (about 30 blokes, some in jeeps and tanks.) We were running over some hill top with them in pursuit when we came across a little abandoned shed. We ran and hid in the shed, but it was so small Robbie was freaking out. He ran out the shed and unfortunately was seen and shot. More so though they had seen him come out of his hiding place and all stopped outside. I could see through various gaps and holes in the sheds panels exactly what was happening. They knew I was inside and the were coming right towards me.

This was the point where I became lucid as I was panicking and just about to wake myself up, therefore realising that I was dreaming. Now lucid, I stayed in the shed and watched them approaching. As the first person reached the shed he pulled out an RPG, and put the end through one of the holes in the shed right in front of me.

What happened next was inspired by something I had seen in a film; X-men First Class. In it, a character called Sebastian Shaw has the ability to - "Absorb the energy of any impact he is struck by, including not only direct physical blows, but also the impact of bullets."

So when the rocket was fired directly at me, I almost caught the force between my hands and squeezed it down to nothing. I also have a video for you so you can visualise it

      XMen Sebastian Shaw - YouTube

After I had effectively absorbed the first one, several more followed, including multiple shots at the same time. Between catching the RPG's I had made a force field shield around me with my bare hands and was sustaining it with my mind. My vision was constantly quite blurred and chaotic, as you can imagine from the video, but I could still see out towards the rest of the army standing in the background a few hundred yards away. I stuck a hand out, whilst deflecting bullets with my other, and literally crushed the remaining men and vehicles at will with my hand.

This happened until there was nothing left but burning vehicles and mangled bodies. It was quite an epic display of power, although hard to describe. Though I did wake up feeling great about myself. Thanks for reading!
