    1. First Steps

      by , 05-07-2011 at 02:40 PM
All at once I realized that I was in a dream and had been dreaming for a while, but my memory just started recording. The first thing I thought to do was pinch my nose and attempt to breathe. I was, in fact, dreaming. However the moment that I consciously accepted this my mind tricked me onto a FA.

Unfortunately for it, I knew better after reading and practicing to always RC when I wake up, so I repeated the previous reality check and I could breathe. This time I actually had a moment to take in my surroundings before my mind kicked me out. It was a hospital like setting and I stood up next to the bed I was on which for some reason was my bed and attempted to pull back the curtain. The moment I began to try to take control I was awakened for real, his time into an episode of sleep paralysis.

This time I stayed calm and attempted to drop back into a dream, if I did or not, I'm not sure but I know I did fall back asleep. Later I awoke all of a sudden to the program I had running on my phone telling me to do a RC. The rest of the night was uneventful.
    2. First Lucid (7 Years Old, Dream Chain)

by , 04-30-2011 at 02:20 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      General text non-lucid awake lucid

I decided to go ahead and put my first lucid dream into my dream journal. I also added the dreams that led up to this lucid. These dreams happened over 3 days when I was 7 years old.

In the first dream I had, I was standing out on my school's playground. The sky started to turn red. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked up at the sky. I remember there being a large cloud over us, and I think it was skull shaped. There was a sense dread and impending doom. Everyone was looking up at the sky horrified. (They looked kind of funny staring at the sky with their jaws dropped actually. ) I went back inside the school and I walked up to the library on the 3rd floor. There was another kid there staring out the window with a book. I asked, "Why is the sky red?" He responded dramatically, "The world coming to an end!"

I woke up shortly after that. I thought this dream was kind of weird and creepy, but I didn't pay much attention to it until the next day.

In the second dream, it was a continuation from the last dream, but it took place on the day after the sky turned red. The sky was still red this day with the large cloud in the sky. I started my dream in front of my school. I didn't see anyone around the school or on the playground, so I went inside thinking that I was late. I entered a hallway, but it was dark, empty, and a mess inside. There was still no one in sight, no noise, and no sign of life. Desks and chairs were knocked over in the hallway, there was rubble on the floor, the wall was half destroyed, and the floor was cracked. At this point I was really starting to feal fear because I felt like the last guy in the world, I was scared of whatever destroyed everything, and I remembered the kid from the last dream saying that the world was coming to an end. Despite my fear, I continued down the hallway to find my classroom.

My dream ended and I woke up right before I would have entered my classroom. This dream felt more realistic than the last one and it was scarier for me. I even watched the sky half of the day wondering if it would turn red.

The third and final dream continued right about where the last one left off. It started with me sitting in the dark room at my desk. There was still no living thing in sight. I again started to wonder where everyone was for a few seconds. As I was thinking about this, the lights flashed on and all my classmates and my teacher seemed to flash into view with the light. They just walked around the room and worked on a project as if they had been there the whole time. I got up from my desk and asked my teacher, "Where did everyone go?" Everyone just turned and glared at me with angry expressions on there face. As they focused on me, their eyes started to glow red. In my mind all I could think was they wanted to chase me and kill me. And of course, they started to chase me out the door.

I ran back out into the hallway and then out to the playground. As I ran up the hill on the playground, I stared up at the sky and noticed it was still red and had the large cloud. I remembered this from the past 2 dreams and said to myself, "Wait! I'm dreaming!" I stopped at the top of the hill and turned to face the mob. I wanted to wake myself up before the mob could get to the top of the hill. Without giving it much thought, I started screaming, "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" As I said this, pictured my real body hidden behind the red sky until I could feel it. I then tried to kick my legs and lift my arms. This required a lot of effort though. As I tried to lift my arms and legs, it felt like someone was pulling them back down. When the mob was about half way up the hill, the dream faded away.

My eyes opened and I was punching and kicking the air with ease. I was sweating and my heart was racing, but I knew I was now sitting safely in bed. I soon got really excited after that because I never had a dream where I knew I was dreaming before. As I started to get more dreams like this, I called them "super dreams" because it felt like a different side of me took over and played as a super hero. They were mostly triggered by nightmares, and this new part of me was like a self defense mechanism against nightmares. It wasn't until I was 13 that I learned there was a name for these dreams and they didn't have to be related to nightmares.

      My Thoughts on these Dreams

Aside from the apocalypse aspect of it, that was awesome! A couple "super dreams" later, and I learned that I didn't have to run from nightmares. I could fight them! Always felt awesome. This is one of my favorite dream chains even though it was a continuous nightmare.

I think the reason why whenever I try to wake myself up and something pulls me down is because of sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis isn't my best friend when trying to get away from a mob.

Induction Type: DILD/NILD (Nightmare Induced Lucid Dream)
    3. Small Lucid Nap

      by , 04-20-2011 at 08:53 PM (Krista's Dream Journal)
      Dream - Lucid

I was trying to take a nap, and was having some hypnogogic hallucination about my friend Amanda, when all of the sudden, I felt sleep paralysis take over. I felt the heavy buzzing sensation in my head, and instantly knew I was about to enter a dream. I started trying to envision a scene I wanted to enter. I saw a dog's tail wagging in black space.

I felt the floaty feeling in my head that I usually feel when I enter dreams, and opened my eyes. I could still feel my body in SP (and could throughout this whole experience). I was in my room, laying in my bed. It was very bright in my room. Everything was very vivid. Next to my bed, I saw my friend Grace, and a girl I went to high school with, Kelsie. I thought about how I hadn't seen her forever. It looked like they were reading my dream journal, which is placed on the pillow on the other side of my bed in waking life. I got up off the bed, and was then crawling on the floor. My room was much spacier than usual, and there was nothing on the floor; it was very clean (another good indicator that it was a dream ). I crawled over to my full-length mirror, which was propped up against my chest of drawers in a slightly different place than it is in waking life. I see myself in the mirror. I'm now all the sudden crawling on the bed instead of the floor. I examine my reflection. I'm wearing all dark clothing. I thought I looked relatively normal and like myself. My eyes started to feel heavy, and I lost the dream and woke up.

    4. Lucid Dream Within a Dream, and Some Others

      by , 04-17-2011 at 06:43 PM (Krista's Dream Journal)
      Dream - Lucid

I was at some weird amusement park. I’m not sure what was going on, it was kind of videogame-esque. I remember seeing characters climbing these ladders to get to the top of something. Some of them kept falling, but would catch a ladder before they hit the ground.

I also remember some type of indoor roller coaster. We were trying to get to a part of the coaster that they were going to use, but decided not to. I knew it was probably a dead end, but we tried anyway. We opened up this passageway that looked like a mouth, and we were going into a throat. We rode the coaster to the end. Sure enough, at the end there was another mouth, but not more tracks. We had reached a dead end. I was wondering how we would get back. I remember the whole time a female voice was guiding the process and making suggestions.

The last thing I remember is watching the roller coaster car exit through the water through a tunnel topped with a flock of cartoon vultures. Their talons formed the tunnel.

      ~

I remember a dream about band camp. I remember being outside. Then something about Ryan and I talking about getting married.

      ~

I was watching myself in 3rd person, but it didn’t look like me. I, however, knew it was me. It was almost like a movie. I was taller with long, black hair. Some of it was pulled back. I was wearing a green dress that reminded me of the 50’s. I was pregnant with Ryan’s baby. Someone was measuring my stomach. I seemed happy. I thought that I had quit smoking by now since I was so far along. The belly looked almost like there was a pillow under my dress.
I then remember going to a gym to work out. I was self-conscious about myself, since I was pregnant. I saw my exposed belly, because I was wearing a sports bra (all of this is still in 3rd person) as I got on a treadmill. Then, I noticed the lady next to me was pregnant too. She had a lot of zig-zagged scars on her belly though. I then knew that she had had a lot of abortions, and the scars were from that.

Then, I was back in 1st person and myself again. I was with Ryan, overlooking what was supposed to be my grandparents’ house. It was overlooking a lake. There was also a walkway from the house that went out into the lake; it looked like it was made out of random floating objects. I recalled a story to Ryan about how my grandparents liked to go out and sit at the end of the walkway, but my grandma had gotten so old, that she couldn’t walk out there anymore, and my grandpa had to carry her. I was very sad as I recalled this, and I cried.

      ~

I was lying in Ryan’s bed. It was morning. I knew I was dreaming, and started to feel myself leave my body, as if I was having an OBE almost. I opened my eyes, and my vision was super distorted; one of my eyes was seeing one perspective and the other eye was seeing something else. It was like…one of my eyes was seeing out of my real eye, and the other out of a dream eye. Holy crap it was weird. That kept happening over and over again. I kept going back “in” my body, and feeling sleep paralysis overcome me, and I would “re-enter” the dream (even though I was already dreaming). I’d get up, and my vision was always distorted. I kept trying to fix it by saying to myself “Detach to your dream body, detach to your dream body…”, but I couldn’t fix my vision.

Then, I remember getting up again in this strange state, with my vision all distorted. I could see my nose at the end of my face, but when I lifted my hands into my field of effed-up vision, I couldn’t see them at all. I did this again at some point soon after this, and tried to poke my finger through my hand. This is where things get real trippy. I saw two sets of my hands; one that looked solid that my finger wouldn’t go through, and then another almost out to the side that was transparent, that my finger would go through. Then, I saw that second set of hands again in a black space. They were merely outlines of hands filled with tiny blue dots. I thought that this was something astral, but I wasn’t sure. The whole thing was very strange.

Then, I remember getting up again, and worrying that I was acting out everything that I was dreaming. Ryan would think I was absolutely crazy. I worried about that for awhile. Then, I remember getting up and Ryan being awake. He pointed to a spot on the bed that looked like poo. He told me I did that. I said really? I did? And he said no, he was just kidding. O_O

Then, I remember being in my strange lucid/whatever the fuck kind of state I was in again. I was trying to leave my “real” body to enter my dream body again. I remember Dr. D, my data analysis teacher being there. I was trying to show her and some other people that I was lucid, that it was a dream, and I could do some really crazy things. I started to phase myself through tons of different surfaces; I remember one being chain-link fence. It felt weird to phase through that. The surfaces appeared one after the other after the other.

I then remember getting a grade sheet back from Dr. D about what I did. There were two grades on there: An A and a B. Next to the A she wrote something about how great of a teacher I was. The B didn’t say anything next to it, but I think it was my grade on how I was phasing through all that stuff.

The weird thing is, I knew I was dreaming in the dream, but I didn't know I was dreaming that I was dreaming...does that make sense? I have no idea what to make of that; I was lucid, but it was a weird state of lucidity. o_O

    5. 08/04/11 - Four lucids in one night

by , 04-08-2011 at 11:50 AM (Nom nom nom, Mmmattelicious...)
      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Good morning! Had a very cool night. I did a proper WBTB and took my remaining Calea with some G+C to see what would happen. It worked great! Broke my old record of three lucids in one night, with one. Also I'm once again not sure how I induced the first dreams. It was more of a MILD as I didn't hit SP from what I can remember and the rest was also some kind of DEILD/MILD.

      23.00: Sleep

      04.50: WBTB 25 minutes

      05.55: Taking it slow MILD
I'm in an appartment building, walking up the stairs. A woman with a child appears infront of me, she has a wagon with her and she's dragging it backwards up the stairs. Why won't she just take the elevator? I patiently follow her. Up the top a door opens up and she enters it, leaving the kid and the wagon outside, blocking my way. I grab it and push it into the appartment.

I realise I'm dreaming and decide to head further up the stairs to see what's on the attic. I reach the top and the stairs twist and continue in a large room. They go from one corner at the bottom to the opposite one further up. I follow them and walk slowly, careful not to fall down into the nothingness next to me. I reach the top and push open the door. I'm very excited to see what's on the other side. Nothing. I get in and look around. There's a balcony and some stairs leading down into darkness, other than that it's just a grey room. There's nothing of interest keeping me in the dream, so it starts to fade.

I try to DEILD, I feel the SP taking over.

      05.55: Snake DEILD/MILD
I get out of Monica's car in my home town's square which has been filled with sand. "Bye babe!" I say and close the door. I spot something moving behind the sand dunes and I realise it's a huge snake. It slithers away and curls up in a corner.

I walk over the sand and think about how to get rid of it. I try lifting it up with telekinesis but nothing at all happens. Ofcourse... I try to fly but taking off from the sand is impossible. Great, along with vividness comes bad control. I slowly walk up to it and decide to play around a bit. It lunges for my face as I get near and I jump away. I dodge its huge fangs for a minute or so before I'm bored. Just as it's about to bite me I ignore it and it transforms into a black cat. The cat runs away as fast as it can.

      05.55: Shower sex MILD
I'm in the dining hall at work and I know I'm dreaming. My coworker Snusknicke is there. "You know when I'm dreaming, my wrists are fine" I say and grab his arms. He tries to wriggle free. "Watch it boy" he warns me in a mocking tone. We're actually good friends, who used to wrestle to show who was the stronger one. This is my chance of showing him who's in charge once again! I grab his throat and lift him up against the wall. Everyone around us laughs, including him. I take the nearest paper bin and shove his head down it and start to dry hump him. Everyone's laughing their ass off. The humping reminds me of something I've wanted to try out, to have lucid sex properly.

I let him go and head towards the locker room. We have girls working for us and I know someone will be in there. There are several people in shower cabins lined up, but there's no wall between them. I spot a girl at the end and she gets out of the shower. I walk to the end and remove the covers. She's not there, but instead two very hot blondes in their twenties. Even better.

      Spoiler for 18+:

When everything clears up, the girls are gone and I'm alone in the shower. Some guy in the shower next to me is soaping up and is spitting alot. I leave the spitting man and head for the door. Perhaps I should grab some towels? I'm dripping wet. Why would I want to dry up in a lucid? I exit the door and enter a hallway. There's a mirror on the wall and I walk up to it. I check my reflection, which looks very realistic. Only there's something bugging my eye. It's inflamed and I scratch it a bit. I leave the mirror and head out another door. I intend to go to the Ninja World.

I'm in the stairwell of the building and I head down the stairs. It seems like I'm on the third floor and everything feels amazingly realistic. The cold, hard stone beneath my naked feet, the echoing sound of my footsteps. I rub my hands to make sure the dream lasts. After a while I arrive at the bottom and exit the building. It's night out and I'm all alone, I recognise the place as my friend's neighbourhood. I need something to make a portal on, and I decide to use KristaNicole's way of doing it. I turn around and walk up to the nearest wall and combine my fingers. I draw a door with them, imagining a white line appearing, anything.

Nothing happens. I start to sing to stabilize the dream a bit. First I yell as loud as I can but I can hear myself moaning in my bed so I lower my voice a bit, my voice echoes off of the walls. Suddenly I realise there IS something where I put my hands. A hatch of some kind has appeared out of the red wall. I pull a lever and it reveals what looks like an ATM, only with a hole you insert your hand in and a red button to push. There is black and yellow striped tape around it. I realise you put your hand there and push the button. Will I just be hanging unconscious with only my hand supporting me?

"Where would you like to go?" a woman's voice asks me. "The Ninja World" I tell the machine. "But ofcourse!" the machine answers and the current panels are removed and replaced with new ones. It makes a robot like sound when it moves and clicks to place. I can see a counter starting on 07.00 and is counting down. "Now you have only..." the voice says but I don't let it finish the sentance as I place my hand on the red button, eager to get going. Something holds my fingers firmly in place and injects something. I lose consciousness right away.

I'm on a bus, going through the jungle. I realise I've turned into a girl. The machinist voice appears in some speakers. "Unfortunately the only Manga we had available was "Soccom"". I can feel my fingers being squeezed in real life.
I had them under my pillow.

      07.00: Fragments
*I'm with my brother Martin down at the canal. We're fishing and I spot two huge red fishes in the water. "Hey look!" I say and point. Martin doesn't care. We talk about something.

*I'm watching a dad convince his dad, that his son is great at playing some instrument. The older dad has headphones on, and they were apparently connected to the grandson's instrument. I can see clearly though that the cord is connected to an mp3. The kid is just sitting there, drooling, crying. The older dad seems to be blind and he's fooled.

      07.00: NASA MILD
I'm with my mom and my brother Martin. We walk up to a heavily guarded door and an overweight guy in an orange jumpsuit greets us. "Welcome, you can enter now" he tells us in a Russian accent. I remember us being denied access earlier. We're at NASA or some similar place. We head down a long corridor. It looks space-like and there are white, heavy doors on our right. "What about the radiation?" I ask him as I watch other people in protective suits. "Don't worry, not harmful anymore" he tells me. A door opens up for us and he urges us to go inside.

I know I'm dreaming, but decide to head into the room anyways. The door is closed and I'm left with my mom and bro. She hands me a glass of champagne and I happily accept it, swallowing it all in one gulp. It tastes very sweet. "Mom, check this out" I say and throw the glass behind me. She lets out a yelp. I grab the glass with telekinesis behind my back without looking just before it's about to crash. I give her a big smile. "Woooohooo!" I say and make the glass fly around in the room before she grabs it. My brother walks up to a toilet in the middle of the room, ontop of which lies a white tile.

Apparently the room was spinning very fast, but as we were inside, we didn't notice anything. Colours starts to appear on the tile and my brother makes a swirling pattern with his fingers. It looks amazing. The colours keep changing and soon we're all playing with the thing. I scratch my nails on it and blue lines appear.

I start to wake up, but I decide to try to DEILD once more. I end up in a very bad SP, with images of my room flashing before my eyes as my entire body is shaking. It reminds me of an epileptic seizure, but I try to ignore it. Books with different covers appear. "How to make portals" is one, the other one has Itachi from Naruto on it. I pick up a few papers on the floor whith my dreams written down on them. Monica gets up and I figure she's off to work. I try to lie still and make a dream appear, but after a minute I give up. I struggle to exit the SP and when I finally manage to do it, Monica's beside me, sleeping like a baby...

      09.00: Fragment
*I'm talking to Monica and my dad. She asks me jokingly if I've recently had any sex. I tell her I have, in my dreams. "With anyone you know?". "No, someone random" I tell her. My dad looks hurt for some reason and I can see tears in his eyes. Monica's about to go home to her home town for a week. "Please, don't fight me now, just try to be happy" I tell her, I don't want to fight the day she's leaving.

      09.00: Wake up

      Amount of sleep: 10 hours

Supplements: 200 mg B6 before bed. 1 tablespoon of Calea and 1 x Lucid Dreamer at WBTB.

That's it! That was one cool night. Such vividness and stability of the dream. The supplements don't help much in inducing the lucids themselves for me, it's all about willpower and ofcourse a bit of placebo. But the quality and length of the dreams is improved alot, which makes it kinda hard when it comes to active control, but even nicer when you get something to work with passive control. I will have to do more proper WBTB's again, but I'm lazy.

      Keep on dreaming, HARE BRA!

    6. Dream, falling.. falling.. down.. turns into SP

      by , 04-01-2011 at 08:17 PM
(i wrote this two days ago -march 30, 2011- on an e-mail to a someone, so i'll just copy and past what i wrote onto here...)

i had another nightmare with the nap i took earlier ...
it was so bad that i woke up screaming (literally) and i jumped half up on the bed throwing the cover off of me...
i usually don't wake up screaming , that's only happen about 2 maybe 3 times..
so in my "dream" , i'm falling... off a building , i'm free falling down, down, down, everything is dark around me,
all a sudden i realize i'm dreaming , but i can't take control of it.. instead of 3rd person vision, i have 1st person ... so it feels more real
i can feel the wind against my skin, i can feel my heart pounding out of my chest, i look into the sky, it was so graphic... so vivid, every detail ,
the way the clouds parted and this big ball of yellow light shined down.. and a hugeeeeee ray of light light up that part of the sky ,,
but it got dark again.. the clouds closed ,,... all i see is dark , then.. it happen again , sleep paralysis , i see someone next to me ,
long arms, no face, but it made really ugly sounds i don't even know how to describe it ?
i said a phrase inside my mind , and it only made the 'thing' worse .. i felt something pull me so hard from my arm ,
i almost felt like i was going to fall off the bed .. that's when i got mad , real mad and woke up screaming and jumping up...
it bothered me for a little while , but i just shrugged it off and took a shower..
    7. My Epic Night of Dreams, Part 1

      by , 03-24-2011 at 03:58 PM (Krista's Dream Journal)
      Dream - Lucid - AP

I was at the mall with Kacey. We entered a store, and Kacey saw a shirt she liked. It was a pastel yellow with spaghetti strap sleeves. She didn't want to pay for it, so she told me she was going to steal it. She walked into the fitting room, then walked out a few minutes later with the shirt stuffed into her huge purse.

Then, I asked her whether or not she was going to wear a dress to prom. She said
"No, no one wears dresses to prom."
I told her some people did, and that I was going to. I imagined myself in my actual prom dress from high school. This was apparently my 2nd prom and 2nd senior year, but it was apparently normal. I wasn't held back a grade. Prom was that night. We started to leave the store, and I was afraid the alarms would go off, but they didn't.

I then started to talk to Kacey about work, and about my schedule as we were driving (I was driving). We were on our way to work, though I wasn't scheduled, it was just Kacey who needed to be there, but I had to drive her for some reason. She started telling me my schedule, and that I worked the next day. Also, something about me working Thursday, which wasn't good, because I have classes all day on Thursdays and can't work.

We got to work, and I saw a guy I went to middle and high school with, LJ. He was working, and Kacey was now working as well. I looked at my schedule, which was illustrated with moving pictures. I wasn't scheduled till the next week. They did have me for a day that I couldn't work. I told Kacey that. I watched LJ and Kacey work and talk, and thought to myself that they must have worked together so long, they learned to like one another.

Dream shift: Then, I was in the woods with my family and another family. I heard a St. Bernard howl and bark as he bounded up from being in the woods. He was holding a section of a huge chain in his mouth. He was searching for a little dog, a Beagle, one of the other family's dogs that had been lost. They sent the St. Bernard off again, and he came back with more chain. He was sent off again. When he came back again, he was pushing the little dog along with his nose. The little dog was dead, and was beat up and had a gunshot wound in his head. Everyone, including me, started to cry. I went up to my mom and dad and said
"I know he wasn't my dog, but I'm still so sad!"
My mom smiled a little through her tears and said
      "I know, it's ok."
      We all continued to cry.

Then, I saw a special on TV about what happened to the dog. He ran off, and a crazy, sadistic man caught him. This man got his jollies from killing small animals. He looked like he was 40 or so, had greasy, dirty shoulder length brown hair, and some facial hair. The dog came up to him and peed on his shoe. Then, they were in an apartment or hotel. The man had set up a video camera. He had an evil smile on his face and a dark red pistol in his hand. The dog was out on the balcony. It was nighttime. The man slammed the door on the dog's tail twice. He kept muttering and talking about the dog to himself, all the while with the evil smile on his face. It was sick. He then shut the wooden, red door to the balcony, and fired a shot through it. He opened the door, and he had missed the dog. He did it again, but this time, he hit the dog in the head.

      ~

Then, I started to hear vivid, loud, epic music, and I saw crazy, colorful geometric hypnogogia, mostly I tunneled through red cubes. I knew what has happening...I was in between dreams! I didn't move, and waited for the dream to start forming. I felt sleep paralysis hit me, and then the dream started to form.

I was in a strange room, it looked like it was made out of cereal boxes. It was mostly reds, blues, yellows, and whites. I moved, but it was delayed. I looked at my hand as it moved, and it had a drag behind it. I started to feel one of the cardboard structures. It felt so real, but the feeling was delayed. I decided I needed to increase stability and vividness, so I commanded "Increase vividness!" and "Stabalize!". The dream seemed more stable then.

I then saw a bottle of Dasani water sitting on one of the cardboard structures at the edge of the room. It was about a quarter or so full. I took it, and dumped some of it on myself. It felt cold. I walked into another part of this strange place, and there were a few people in there, doing some kind of work. I vividly remember a man in his late 20s-early 30s who looked very nerdy. He had blonde hair and glasses. I got his attention, and of course, had to try to show off to him.
"Hey! I can fly!", I told him.
He just stared at me with a confused look on his face. Typical. I got up on this plushy couch, and tried to take off. It was proving to be difficult for some reason. I finally hovered for a little bit, then decided I needed to do something other than fly. I decided I wanted to change my setting, which I've never done before. I called out to my dream guide, whoever that may be, and said
"Dream guide, I need your help. I want to change scenes, but I can't do it alone. I need your help, please help me."
My guide never appeared, but a door in front of me started to open into a new scene. I was amazed. I think I said "Thank you", but I'm not totally sure. I walked through the door to the new scene, and I was in a bar. The characters from my dog dream were there. I saw a man from the other family behind a counter. To my right was a woman playing pool. I walked in further, and there was the crazy dog-killing man.

Then, I lost the dream and had an FA. I was writing down key words on a note pad from the LD such as "bottled water", etc.

    8. Another Awesome Nap! :D

      Dream - Lucid - AP

I felt sleep paralysis, and I knew I was about to enter a dream. I did indeed enter a dream, but I was only partially asleep again. I tried to open my eyes, but was so afraid I'd open my real eyes instead, because I could still feel my body. Despite not being able to see, I knew I was in my room, laying in bed. I thought to myself "Detach to your dream body", and I stood up. I felt my foot with my hand. It felt very real. I started trying to poke my fingers through my hands as an RC, but it didn't feel like it was working. I still knew I was dreaming though.

I started to fly, and all the sudden, I could see. I saw my reflection in a mirror on the ceiling. I was wearing a shirt that I used to have from Disney World when I was 11, but I looked the same age that I am now. I flew through the ceiling, and outside. It was bright and sunny out. I flew close to the ground and looked at the green grass below me, so as not to lose the dream. I saw a little play area that you see in some people's back yards, and in it, on a slab of white concrete, was my mom's car, reflecting the bright sunlight. I flew closer to it, and my vision closed in as I woke up.

    9. SP - Demon Hound Hallucination

      by , 03-19-2011 at 01:33 AM
When I woke up from a nap this afternoon I was in that half awake / half asleep zone... (sleep paralysis)
I started to feel these hands touching my body, I'm not even sure they were in the "shape" of hands , but
I could feel some kind of energy rubbing on me and touching me.
I felt something hold my shoulders down, I felt something else start to touch my breast...and then I felt something
scratching at my thighs....... all at the same time... I started to feel very VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.. In my head ,
I recognized what I was going through was just sleep paralysis, even still though I got this wave of anger all of a sudden
I felt a hand reach for my hand and squeezed mine really hard..
This is when I was able to shift my eyes to the left to look to the side of me and I saw the face of what looked like a blob of energy of dark green and black ,
but then I saw this shape take form and it looked like this animal here

In my head I started to pray (it was comforting at the time for me to do this) ... I prayed and prayed , but it didn't go away , until the 3rd prayer ..
everything stopped and I snapped out of that zone I was in and I "fully" woke up.......
This is about the 4th time or so that I see an entity that looks just like that (demon hound)
Other times I've heard it growl and other times I've felt like I was being bitten on my ribs..... over and over...
When I "fully" woke up I felt really uncomfortable and violated....
It felt all so real, I could literally feel all this .. and actually "see" it...
It probably didn't even last longer than 30 seconds, but at the time, it felt like forever.

    10. Projection at Naptime

      Dream - Lucid - AP

I was about to enter a dream, I saw my room around me, and I knew it was a dream, but I lost it.

I didn't open my eyes however, and I started to feel myself sitting up out of my body. I forced my eyes open, and I was still laying down (weird). I sat up again (it was difficult, I felt very heavy), and I could feel my body laying down, and I could feel a bit of sleep paralysis. As I was leaving my body, I saw my head still on the pillow out of the corner of my eye. My room looked just like it does in waking life, even the lighting was correct. My perception was kind of screwy though, I could see the tops of the backs of my eyelids, and, like I said before, I could still feel myself laying down. I got up off my bed, and could hear my dad talking in the hallway. I was very close to the floor for some reason. It was almost like I was sliding on the floor. I decided to try to phase through the door. I started to, and as I was going through it, I could feel this strange sensation around my head as it went through the door. I would describe it as "soft" almost. But then, before I could get all the way through the door, I woke up.

    11. First Try

      by , 03-16-2011 at 02:34 PM
I'm new to the site, so forgive me if this is in the wrong category.

Anyway, my sleep schedule is always a little odd, so I am usually not in bed until some time after 1am. This morning (16Mar11) I was up particularly late, reading a few articles on lucid dreaming, which I have always had a passing interest in. At around 5, I finally settled in to sleep, and wasn't really trying for any lucid dream. I was laying on my back, with my arm wrapped around my dog that shares my bed with me. In the back of my mind I was thinking "I will have a lucid dream tonight" over and over, but I was pretty positive the chances of me having such a dream were low.

Anyway, after a few minutes I apparently fell straight into a dream. I was talking to a man who resembled an ex-boyfriend of mine, a man who causes me great stress and anxiety. In the dream, I remember thinking he looked like my ex, but not being sure, so I spent a while trying to get a good look at his fingers, since my ex was missing a finger, and this is something I do in waking life to almost all men subconsciously now. After a minute I saw that he had all fingers, and was relieved, and able to take in my surroundings. I was in a large room, with cement floors, and some form of clutter on the walls, tho I can't remember what it was. The man was sitting on a four-wheeler, a green "Bear Tracker" to be precise, which is the same kind of four-wheeler I had a few years ago. Some how, we ended up fighting, and as he was begining to yell at me, I was suddenly back in my room.

I felt like I was looking through my eyelids, like my memory of what my room looked like was allowing me to be in my room, while still asleep. I remember feeling like one hand was holding my phone, which it was not, and I was holding my dog, just as when I fell asleep. Lights were flashing, and I felt pressure on my chest, and a tingling sensation in my neck and face, and had no ability to move any part of my body or cry out. I remembered reading about Sleep Paralysis, and that it was important to just calm down. I was fine, until my dog started shaking in my arms, and I was powerless to stop it, lying there feeling useless. I had the thought to press my forefinger and thumb together, and somehow that must have woke me up because a moment later I was in my bed, dog sleeping perfectly fine, scared out of my wits.

That was about an hour and a half ago now, and I'm contemplating trying to sleep again, with the lights on this time. I'm usually pretty brave, but that one scared me a good deal, and the whole ordeal lasted only 20 minutes, from 5:00am-5:20am.

Anyway, that's all I've got for right now.

    12. Sinking into my bed...

      by , 02-19-2011 at 06:05 PM
I don't even know where to begin, this has never happen to me before, not like this.... ! It was SO CRAZY .. !

I am in a dream , sleeping .. dreaming .. turns into a nightmare , I am in this group of people going to meet the devil , but in my dream I kept referring to him as Lucifer.
I look into the sky and there are minions flying everywhere spitting out fire balls on the ground...

I look at the center of the field and I see this "Lucifer" being ,,
he's dark purple in color , long black horns ,, has hooves for feet ...

and in an instant everyone around me dies when he snaps his fingers they all burst into fire
      and die...

I am standing alone ,, looking around at the floor ...dead bodies everywhere... Lucifer tries to take me... reaching his hand out for me,, but I don't want to go ! I won't go!

So I'm in this dream/nightmare, but I start having conscious thoughts like when you're awake and can talk to yourself inside your mind .. I was able to do this in my dream , becoming "Lucid"
and can hear a small voice inside me saying , "Don't panic, but.. get out of here now!!" I push off the ground and start to fly !

I am then taken to so many beautiful scenaries , but the scene keeps changing ... fast ! I'm in one place, then another, then another ! All so beautiful !! So CAPTIVATING !
I saw this ocean surrounded by beautiful mountains it was breath taking , I could feel myself getting too excited , I started to fly , faster .. faster and faster !

Then ,, I started losing control of the dream a lil bit...

I could feel my heart beat start to race really really fast ,, complete and total adrenaline rush !! I don't know if I just had the sensation of that in the dream or if that was happening in real time, real life...
but however, just to be safe I still I thought to myself "I have to go back I don't want to give myself a heart attack in my sleep?!"

I can feel I'm flying still (in the dream) , then all a sudden I'm in 2 places at once .. this lucid dream ,, then I can feel myself laying on my bed asleep at the same time!

Then those visuals of flying come to an end , everything changes...

My whole room becomes dark , (by the way my eyes are still closed , but I can still see everything with my minds eye I guess they call it )..

So... my bed starts spinning and sinking simultaneously .. !!
All I begin to see is me sinking further and further into my bed, like free falling down...down...down... it seemed to never stop,, I don't know if I was excited or scared, I think a little of both !

Either-way I was getting nervous cause it felt like I was about to black out and I was afraid of where this next dream would take me ,, so I finally snap out of it and I make myself
wake up in the physical world....

I still have that vision in my head, the visuals were just WOW intense & mind-blowing ,, it was all so detailed, so vivid, sinking in the bed, so graphic , it's like my bed was melting into the ground ,
I was still me I was able to have my conscious thoughts it was I guess a type of sleep paralysis , asleep , but awake at same time...

I hadn't had a crazy dream experience in about a month and a half, I thought maybe all of it stopped , but I guess not.. this experience though , which was a lil terrifying ,
was still kinda cool .. I think ..

by , 02-19-2011 at 04:33 PM (Short Stories with Tragic Endings)
I am in a chair in in dark room that looks like a common room or something. I am sitting there under
covers, going to sleep I guess, but my eyes are open. I see some guy I don't know walk by and go out
the door. I look over at the TV ( CRT ) which has suddenly turned on and it is as if it is angled away from
me. The screen is the glitchy purple color an lcd gets when viewed from an angle. The tv is slowly turning
toward me and finally the color resolves. I think it is "That 70's Show". I wake up. It is dark and in my dorm
at college. I should have realized that I have been sleeping in for a while now and it should be light but I
didn't. I wake up, without moving, I think about the dream and decide not to write it down. Instead, I
decide to try WILDing. I remain still and the sleep paralysis comes instantly. I feel immense pressure practically
contorting my body. I feel like one of those mutating creatures from horror movies. My foot is on the edge
of the bed and slips off, the "transition" dies down a bit but when my foot stops it continues again. I think,
"It was not this intense the first time." then it stops. I think, maybe I've entered a dream? No, no I haven't.
      I get angry with myself
and wake up for real. I decide, a false awakening would be a good thing to
      put in my dream journal

    14. Meditation/Sleep Paralysis

      by , 02-16-2011 at 07:36 AM (Krista's Dream Journal)
Just a random update, I did a guided relaxation about an hour and a half or so ago, and towards the end of it, I was very close to projecting, I could feel it, it felt just like the other night when I did project. However, my heart started to beat very rapidly and my breathing became very erratic, which brought me out of the meditative state I was in.

After that, I decided to try to sleep, and all that kept happening is I kept falling into a meditative state, and I kept feeling my body start to fall asleep. I kept entering sleep paralysis, I got the crazy hypnogogia and the tingly feeling, but it only lasted a few seconds each time until I became fully awake again. This has happened like...4 times tonight already. o_o
    15. Twas a Dream? Or SP?

by , 01-27-2011 at 05:14 PM (Glimpse Into a Mad Mind)
Ok I think I woke up in sleep paralysis again last night, but I'm not sure. I woke up for something, then drifted back to sleep. I believe I woke up again and was staring at the backs of my eyelids. I thought I heard the rustling of a plastic bag along with the voice of my stepbrother call my name. But when I heard it, I immediately thought "Don't look. It isn't real." So I kept my eyes shut and sure enough I started feeling waves of strong vibrations which got more intense, then died down, then got intense again, and so on. I thought I must be in SP and tried to put myself in a dream. It didn't work, and I eventually I got up. Thing is, I was thinking like I normally do when I'm awake and I thought I got up and moved, even though I really didn't. How much do you want to bet that if I looked at my hands when I 'got up' that they would blur or melt away or something and I would be in a lucid dream?

But when I got up for real, I questioned that maybe I just dreamt the entire thing, but the vibrations felt so real and my thoughts were clear. I told myself "I must be in SP". I'm not sure; what do you all think?
