    1. Vampire ate my friend, Devil at the cemetery

      by , 11-07-2015 at 10:48 AM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
      First dream

Midnight, the moon was bright, giving some light to the city. It was really cold. I was driving a car in a Central District, following main road and then driving off to an alleys between skyscrapers. I parked the car, and went outside. Suddenly another car appeared and parked in the darkness. Then four persons came closer to me - they were my friends. All of them wearing black hoodies with dark trousers.

      - What's the plan?
      - We'll wait in the shadows. The vampire would arrive shortly.
      - Sounds good.

We have hidden, and then another car parked in the darkness. Then a monstrosity - a tall humanoid with gray skin, sunken eyes and bat-like wings. We charged at the beast, but then it just swallowed one of my friends in his entirety. Next the vampire started to climb up a skyscraper, and tried to fly away. Suddenly I became a giant, and catched the vampire in my hand. I just thrown him down, and he hit the ground with force so strong, that vampires head just flied away from the corpse. Then my friend just scrambled out of the body. I became normal-sized again. We drove away to the docks, to throw the corpse into water. Next we were sitting near a fireplace and talked about getting a boat and crew.

      Second dream

It was in another planet. It had breathable atmosphere and Earth-like gravity. I was in some sort of settlement. The main hall was really crowded. There was a teleport specialist post in the middle of the hall, a huge archway teleporter to the right, and a way outside to the left. I followed the hallway, and entered a locker room. I took a key, and opened a 182 locker. There was a bag with food rations, water and a hunting knife inside. I took it, and then went outside, as teleports were out of order for some reason.

The whole planet was a rocky wasteland. There were little to none vegetation, and no animals. The planet was swarming with some sort of creatures with distorted bodies, attacking anyone at sight. Many explorers were slain by them, but I kept fighting, going through Rocky Wasteland, Dark Valley and other regions, until I appeared at Red Mountain - a huge volcano. There was a raging ash storm, but I couldn't go back, I've gone too far to retreat now. There were other explorers here, but no one was cooperating. It was a race - the person who reaches abandoned cemetery first and retrieves family memorabilia for a rich man, gets the prize.

I was finally reaching the cemetery, but I stopped. Looking further, I saw that a wall of fire, and clouds of smoke and ash appeared. The rubble was flying all around. Finally something moved out of the clouds - it was devil himself, sending rays of destruction and death to anyone who might come. At first he was of more demonic appearance, but for some moments he looked like a corpse with glowing white, sunken eyes and gray hair.

This is where the teleporters at main settlement became active again. I found a teleporting stone in my bag, and used it. There was a siege, everyone had to evacuate. People were running to Earth through the archway teleporter. I decided to go deeper into the base, and look for some things I could've left. There were none, and I ran towards the main hall.

Last people were going through teleporter. Suddenly a portal appeared, and demons - bald people with gray skin, wearing bracers made of brown metal, and brown ragged trousers were going out of it. They had white, glowing and sunken eyes.

I had to choose - running to Earth, or going to cemetery, to fight devil. I've chosen the latter, and went to teleport specialist, so he could teleport me to cemetery. She said "Perhaps you're the one to fight devil. You may be our last hope." She made a mistake however, and I ended too far from it. I went back through teleport - demons won, the building was ruined, all portals inactive. The teleporting specialist was still alive, and her friend appeared.

I decided to go on foot again. Everyhting was gray and distorted. The sky was plain black, and there was only a green moon visible. I haven't went too far, getting weaker and weaker. In the end I just fallen on the ground. Suddenly everything get blurred, the time was moving backwards. I had to choose again, but this time I went to Earth. I appeared in an upper floor of old mansion. I went downstairs.
    2. 201015: A Vampire and a German Airport

by , 10-20-2015 at 03:36 PM (The Dream Journal)
Mostly fragments. I tried WBTB with no success.

      Dream 1:A Vampire Comes Knocking
I outside on a dark autumn evening, a large gravel field is to my right, a house in front of me. Eric, from True Blood, tries to get inside but can't since he wasn't invited in. He's now trapped between two doors leading to places he hasn't been invited. He just waits for the police to show up. Jail must suck if you live forever...
I walk out to the gravel field in the moonlight.

I go into the house. In the attic room I see my friend's two cats, the one that is big and the small one that is white.

      Dream 2: In the Airport
I'm in an airport, I think it's a German one. It's overcast outside. I try to find my way to the plane I need to make, where is the gate? There is a large crowd. I see some people getting off of a plane, one is carrying a paper bag with Zen enso on it, he must have come from a convention. I wonder where it was, I'd like to go.

Turning around I see a busy friend of mine in the crowd.

    3. God save us from the Queen

by , 10-14-2015 at 06:29 PM (Here be dragons)
Still hard to breath when sleeping on my back.

I am a very young vampire, my sire, my creator, il a dignified, older italian gentleman with salt and pepper hairs and a tan, rough skin. His wrinkles show that he laughs more that he frown, and I care about him and my vampire siblings. He is hurt, and has to rest on his bed. We're all around him, and I'm laying on the top of the blankets next to him, very upset.
Later, my siblings and I are trying to save people from a arranged wedding that xas initialy supposed to take place between one of my companion and me. We both dress up before entering the room, his tuxedo is classical black and white with a white bowtie, my dress is very traditional and covers me neck to toes. We get in and walk to the platform where the future husband and wife are waiting. Her dress is far more pretty than mine, and I jocke about it with my companion while pulling the man to his feet. I tell him to run and he rush out, like everyone else including me. I'm separated from the other and I try to escape my pursuers by running through a gigantic house full of strange interconnected rooms. the more persistant is closing on me; he looks a lot like my sir and it's making me slow down. He his a agent of a mysterious Queen. He tells me that I run so fast that I'm off limits. I spits in his face as he throws a spell at me, a blue light that burns my flesh to ash. I look to my left hand and see it turning into ash and fall appart before waking up.
    4. TOTM LD: Bringing a Drawing to Life

      by , 10-09-2015 at 06:20 PM
I had this dream a couple of weeks ago when it was still September, but I unfortunately didn't write it up in time to get credit for the Task of the Month.

      Bringing a Drawing to Life

This dream started out in a parking garage. I was a vampire slayer, but I had gotten myself in over my head, and I was having to bail. I had a large group of vampires after me and I needed to get away and re-think my plan and come up with a new strategy.

I had gotten enough ahead of the vampires that they couldn't see me. I took this opportunity to jump out of the parking garage. I was about three levels up, but I landed well. I was grateful that I was a vampire slayer and was able to do that without getting hurt. [My mind is so good at creating reasons why I can do things, so I don't question my reality. ]

I quickly ran past a few stores in an open mall and finally decided I needed to be off the streets, so I ducked into one of the stores. It was a clothing store, and as I ran in I quickly started to take off some of my clothing, like my black leather jacket that I knew would give me away as the Slayer. I grabbed a pink sweater and pulled it on. Then I found a fluffy white knitted hat and slipped that on next. I did this with several more items until I was pretty sure that the vampires wouldn't recognize me.

Somewhere in here I suddenly became lucid. I don't remember the "ah-ha" moment. But as soon as I was lucid. I totally forgot about the vampires. (See, if I were more like my friend I would have had an epic battle. I really need to remember this.) But the thing on my mind was the Task of the Month. The task I wanted to accomplish was to draw something and then bring it to life. I felt that was right up my alley.

So I ran over to a desk that was in the same store and saw some paper and a pencil. I picked up the pencil and started drawing the first thing that came to mind--which happened to be a huge spider that filled the entire sheet of paper. i was impressed at how good of a job I had done drawing it. It was drawn in the 3D style you see a lot of these days. It already looked quite realistic. I got ready to concentrate and bring it to life--when I suddenly stopped myself. What was I thinking?? Did I really want to bring this spider to life and let him loose in my dream? I would have to worry for the rest of the dream that it would start crawling up my leg. And dream or not, I didn't want to have that happen.

So I tried to think of something else to draw. I looked at the paper and saw that there was a mouse that was already partially drawn. I decided to finish it. But the angle was off. I couldn't get it to look like I wanted. I didn't like the way the previous person had drawn its eye. I realized that trying to finish someone else's picture was harder that starting my own.

So I decided to start all over again. I decided to draw a snake. I started with the tail and drew up to the head. As I got to the head I wanted to make absolute certain that I was not drawing a viper's head--because that would be every bit as bad as having that spider on the loose. (Why was I drawing all these potentially dangerous animals anyway??) So I made the snake's head so small that it blended in with it's body. I started making a stripe down the back of it's had as to make certain that this was a garter snake--NOT venomous.

For some reason I didn't bring the snake to life. I'm not sure why I changed my mind. I finally decided to draw ants and make them come alive. Ants were easy to draw and they were also very safe.

So I doodled a couple of little ants, nothing fancy, and then stared at them and willed them to come to life. After just a few seconds one of the ants suddenly became real and quickly ran over the edge of the paper and hid under it. That was fast. I then did the second ant. And before I had a chance to get a really good look at it, it too had run off the paper hiding under some other papers on the desk.

And I think something woke me up at this point because I don't remember anything beyond this.

    5. #118 - teeth getting pulled/vampire who just woke up

Dream 1 - Teeth getting pulled
I seem to be in a dark room strapped to a chair. A man is holding a drill to the left side of my cheek and starts drilling into my face and into my teeth. The pain is excruciating and realistic... Next he starts on my front teeth, all my teeth are being removed by having someone drill them out from their roots with a power tool. I keep thinking to myself hysterically that it isn't real, that it's all just a dream. I know it's a dream, because if it were real then it would hurt MORE than this. Nothing made sense, I knew I could wake myself up if I tried harder. I kept trying, over and over to will myself awake as I struggled against the constraints of the chair and the illusion of pain in my mind. I finally managed to wake up.

Dream 2 - Vampire who just woke up
I've just awoken from a long slumber as a vampire. My casket is special or something.. Which comes back as an important detail later. I'm a guest to huge feast, there is a master who is hosting it. I'm suspicious of everything for some reason, it's just weird I guess. I spot some large curtains blocking the entrance to a nearby room. The place I'm in is grandiose, the feast table is really long and the curtains are velvet red. I decide to ditch the feast and enter the room. One of the other guests, a woman, follows me. As she enters the room behind me she ties a black cloth over her face, then walks forward. In front of us is a silken red sheet draped over a large box of some sort. The woman approaches it (I seem to remember her having a black dress on) and removes the sheet in one sweeping move. It exposes the silver casket to which I was awakened from. (*Note: I think my face was on the casket for some reason*). It seems to shock the other guests, who apparently also followed us from the dining hall. I have some sudden flashbacks from hundreds of years ago to how vampires used to live compared to the extravagant luxury they were now accustomed to. Images like burning at the stage, being smashed over a wall and fighting epic battles. Random stuff like that.

    6. Vampire, short DILD

      by , 09-05-2015 at 08:39 AM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
My house have turned into a huge castle. I was inside it with my siblings. The living room has changed into throne room, and my brother was a king. He told me that I must leave, being banned by him from his kingdom. When going out of the house, the trapdoor to the attic opened, and someone jumped down, landing in front of me. It was a young female. She had red hair and she was wearing a blue dress. Looking at her face I saw that she is a vampire. I immediately ran back into throne room, and told everyone about the vampire. The king immediately ran after the vampire. I followed him outside. Everything got a film grain and browny shades. I saw my brother running after sister, and thought "Back in time?". I opened the doors to castle and went inside.

Suddenly I found myself in a city. It was a warm summer noon. I was in an alley surrounded by tall buildings. It was leading to train station. I recalled that I was in that city before. It was a city from dream "Siege", which I have visited at the date 2015-08-23. I have attained lucidity. I made a successful nose plug RC, and ran towards the train station. It was place near the sea. Having no idea what should I do, I decided to finally learn flying. As I started to fly, I had a weird feeling. It was like I felt gravity working upon my body. I thought about a good way to fly, and I've got an idea. Position of my legs was controlling the height of my fly. When I had the legs straight, I was flying forward, slowly loosing height. When I lowered my legs, I was flying up, and when I bended my knees I was flying down. I was also flopping my hands like a brid does with it's wings. I made a few barrel rolls, flips and other evolutions. The dream slowly started to fade away, and I have waked up.

    7. Four Nightmares

      by , 08-10-2015 at 05:40 PM
I had four nightmares over the weekend. You'd think that I was worried about something.

      Dream 1:

I had been kidnapped by a vampire. She had me in a house that appeared to be my childhood home in LA. At one point the vampire turned her back and I took that chance to run out the open door and down the street. I knew that the vampire would immediately notice and would be after me, So after passing a couple of houses I ran to the next house and opened the door and went inside. I saw a room where two adults were sleeping. At first I felt relieved. Maybe they could help me. But then I realized that I needed to leave. I would just be getting them killed if the vampire found me here--and I knew she could follow me...follow my scent. I knew there was nothing I could do to get away. She was so much faster than I was. There was no way to erase my trail.

      Dream 2:

I was riding my bike on a mountain road at night. The road twisted and turned and went on forever. I felt I would never get to my destination. Then suddenly in front of me I saw a bigfoot climb up the slope and onto the road directly in front of me. The bigfoot was a lighter brown color with reddish tints. It's fur was longer and matted with bits of leaves and twigs in it, like it had just gotten up from sleeping on the forest floor. It stood and faced me. I was so startled and frightened that I swerved my bike and went over the edge. I could feel myself falling...falling...

And I woke up with a start, breathing heavy, my heart racing.

      Dream 3:

I was with a group of ladies. I was supposed to be working on a big project with them. I not only couldn't remember who they were, but I couldn't remember what the project was. I only knew that I was suddenly about to have to give a presentation. I had no idea what I was supposed to do. I started to panic.

      Dream 4:

My plane had just landed at the airport, and I got off the plane. I suddenly realized I hadn't gotten my luggage out of the overhead compartment. I tired to run back and find the plane. The airport was a maze. I had no idea which way I had come from. I was running around not knowing where I was going and not finding anyone who could help. I ended up in a hallway that kept getting steeper and steeper until I started sliding back. I knew I couldn't go this way.

Finally I found someone to help me. I was told that my luggage had been taken off the plane and was now at the baggage area. I actually was able to locate it by the end of this dream making it a very unusual nightmare with a happy ending.
    8. #100 - museum crypts

      Dream 1 - Museum Crypts
I'm walking around someones property, it's a large grassy hill with a big house at the top and a big museum off somewhere to left... It's dark out now, I'm with someone but I don't know who, they don't seem important. After approaching the house at the top of the hill I walk around it, I distinctly remember looking up at it from the back and seeing it from a specific angle, which comes back later on...
Next I go to the museum, there's a crypt in there and some treasure to be found, dungeon booty. I progress through a marble entrance and then down some steps and find myself in the first section of the crypt, there are guardians here that defend the crypt, I kick the shit out of them... They seem to be lesser beast and stuff.
One more thing I should note... I'm immortal in this dream. People can try kill me but it never seems to damage me, and I also never seem to age, making me officially a bad-ass in my mind .
One of the guardians is a vampire , but not the lame sparkling kind -.- ... He looked exactly like Ben Kingsley and wore a dark sinister outfit with red trimming, in his hand he held a demonic looking sword. I met him as I was continuing my descent into the now-evil-cave-like tomb, where he stopped me in front of the final gate.
I knew that a special 'key' was needed to get in. It was made of three pieces, of which I possessed 2.. The key looked like a 1 metre long stone snake with ruby eyes, and I had the tail and mid-section of it. The vampire was particularly powerful, he killed my friend via decapitation and vowed to stand at the gate to prevent anyone from entering...

After suffering a demoralizing defeat I retreated. Some time must have passed as I seemed to have forgotten about the crypt, maybe 10 years?
Now I was with some new friends, one of which was the owner of the house on the grassy hill, he seemed young (20s) and had white hair, we went with a few others to the house and found it was burned down :/. I see the house from the same angle that I viewed the building originally, except only the framework was left, which was blackened and charred... We decided to go check out the crypt next.

We're walking through the crypt and encounter some weaker guardians, like stone knights or something. I kind of feel the memories come back, realizing I hadn't warned my comrades of the dangers here... We then encounter the gate, which a menacing man stands in front of, facing us with a blank stare. At first he seems lifeless, we walk around him and I suddenly start to remember him as the guardian vampire... I now realize he isn't actually dead . Well.. I mean he is a vampire so he is technically dead, but you know what I mean.
Next comes an epic battle, he surprise attacks my friend by kicking him 50 metres away where he slams into the other side of the room... we're all pretty damn strong and end up fighting him in something like a 5v1 showdown. I get the last piece of the snake and place it in the gate. Not sure what really happened to the fight, but we're now inside a huge treasure room with mountains of gold, gems, and jewellery. I think the battle starts continuing on behind me and I make a dash to a ledge.. On this ledge there's a nearby cat too, I think? I see a beautiful necklace with bronze wiring wrapping around three gems of sapphire and think to myself that my girlfriend would love it.. So I take my school backpack off and put it in.. Then I wake up..

Kind of got random towards the end as I was starting to wake up.

      Other dream fragments:
-Walking down the geology hallway talking to a professor.
    9. Vampire in a flat

      by , 07-12-2015 at 08:17 AM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
I was one of locators of a flat. I lived in a house on a 12th floor. One day people started to panick all around, and seal themselves in houses. I ran down to first floor, and asked what's going on, and heard that there is a dangerous vampire in our flat.

I ran back to the 12th floor into my house, and looked around. It was a 60s style house, and someone already used all the furniture to seal itself in my bathroom. That person even took fridge with it. I thought that hiding is not a way, and decided that I should get to the rooftop, to have better chances of throwing the vampire out.

I searched all around for a way to reach the rooftop, but the trapdoor was sealed. I turned around, and then I heard a strange noise. I turned back, and saw a young, bald man with a blonde woman in a jacuzzi. I immediately noticed that the man is a vampire.

Upon noticing me, his skin turned grey, white hair grown quickly, eyes become glazed and claws started to grow. I had no chance of winning this battle, so I ran to nearby window and jumped out of the flat. Hovewer, the vampire chased me.

I landed safely in front of my fathers carpentry workshop. The vampire burst through workshops roof and landed safely too. I didn't knew what to do. I ran into the workshop, and evaded all the vampires attacks. He punched, kicked, clawed, but I dodged all of his attacks, while avoiding to bump onto one of machines.

Suddenly I saw a strange barrel. Thinking that there might be garlic inside, I threwn it at the vampire. The barrel broke, and a strange substance covered it entirely. It started to scream and moan horribly, his skin burning and falling dow, flesh rotting out and leaving only a pile of inanimate bones.

Some of the substance spoilt on me, I wasn't hurt hovewer. It had a sweet taste and was similar to honey. I started to laugh - a single barrel of honey was enough to kill a powerfull vampire.

    10. Hunger (Zombie-Vampires! Vambies? Zompires?)

      by , 06-26-2015 at 05:52 AM
I liked that the twists were surprises. I usually have a tiny thread of lucidity that makes me meta the hell out of my dreams.

Anyway. My starting point was a little confusing. First I see a wounded Damon Salvatore, on the phone with Elena. It's night, he's crusted with blood and looks ten kinds of awful. The camera pans over and I see a white figure standing at the corner of the frame. I' m worried because the thing looks like a threat. But then Damon says something about running into a Sarvati (the white figure, now wringing his hands). Elena asks if he's alright, because apparently Sarvati are dangerous.
"It's fine." Damon says with his trademark smirk. "I persuaded him to help." he pauses. "What about you?"
"Getting a little help of my own. Maybe." She says, and I finally see her. She's in a barn, the moonlight shining through the open door. "I have a plan, I'll let you know if it works." She seemed hurt, too, but it isn't apparent how. Hanging up the phone, opens her mouth wide and lifts her wrist. I assume she's going to feed on herself to heal...and I'm doubtful that would even work.
The camera pans out and I recognize the setting.

In this version of the story, Stefan became like Michael and only fed on vampires. Also being a ripper meant he hurt many people before his friends were able to subdue him. Weary of fighting his hunger, he allowed himself to desiccate and made a deal: he would sleep until they found a cure.
There he lay, under a bare foot of soil, in a weathered wooden crate. Elena meant to feed Stefan. Of course.
For a moment I am irrationally angry with Elena. They had promised him! And here she was, at the first sign of trouble, waking Stefan to his torment. It seems so selfish and, only for a moment, I hate her.

They will need him, though. He is a definite ally in a sea of mistrust. There's a new creature in Mystic Falls. They are vampire/zombie hybrids. In the early days of their Turning they drink the blood of humans, but then require flesh to survive. They can walk in the daylight and may subsist on human food for a time, if they are disciplined. Though the first was the result of a spell cast by a powerful sorcerer, it could be spread via saliva. So, naturally, the first Turned would be a whore of a football player.
A girl named Sandra who looked like the actress Annalynne Mccord3D INTERACTIVE CHAT-annalynne-mccord-black-tank-top-fashion-1128266682.jpg is the only one who really notices that the school is slowly slipping into chaos. The faculty are nowhere to be found and sometimes, out of the corner of her eye, certain people have ashen skin. She used to be a cheerleader but has since lost her taste for it. No one knows that the hiatus she took from school wasn't a vacation, she actually went to a care facility for anorexia. There are students milling around, crowding the halls, and debris on the floor. Sandra walks into the locker room, uncertain, arms crossed over her abdomen. She spots Stacy who looks gray, talking to a chubby, blond, blue-eyed Davina Claire. Stacy asks her if she's thrown in her lot for the party food, that they were thinking about ordering pizza, but she has a better idea. In her hands is an advertisement for a company known as Meal A day. Sandra knows it well. Upon release from the hospital, Meal A Day had delivered healthy meals to her door three times a day, she checked her progress after every meal and they took the plates. Each seemed a small victory over the illness.
"So have you signed yet?" Stacy asks.
"You know me." Davina says, "Always hungry."
Sandra intuits that Davina is bulimic. She isn't sure if she can trust a near stranger with her secret, but it would be worth the risk if she could help.
The students don't realize that they are signing up to be the food and their dietary preferences will determine who will be consuming them.
Their hunger is a quiet, fervent energy, a slowly building frenzy. They are cunning in their design.
"I put a spell on you. You're mine now." A male voice says.

I return to the barn where Stefan shakes dirt from his hair. His eyes are an unnatural golden brown, he wipes Elena's blood from his mouth. Still disoriented, he asks how long it has been.
I loathe Elena's sheepish look, wishing she'd just left him alone.
"You've been down for a little over a day."
His expression twists in wry amusement, tinged with pain. "What's happened now?" He asks as she helps him stand.
"I'll explain on the way, we don't have a lot of time." Elena replies. She hopes Damon won't be too angry, he wanted to honor Stefan's wishes.
"I'm assuming you didn't bring a car?" He says this with an air of contained amusement that is achingly familiar. She smiles, casting her eyes to the dirt floor and dipping her head. He grins suddenly. "You always did love to run."
They had always loved to run together.
Yet, this is not a reunion of lovers, just friends who were lovers once upon a time. Their love has since mellowed into fondness. They exit the barn into the soft summer night. Lucidity here is a sweet thread that pulls me through Elena and then back out to observe. They are so happy to be together. Their hasty separation, though it seemed longer to him, had worn on them. This reunion is like the giddy absence of pain amidst torture. For a time, they don't think about what they will face when they arrive at town, or that Stefan will return to the ground when this new threat is stamped out, only that they are here again, running together.

The moon's cloak of clouds pulls apart to reveal swathes of landscape. The grass is deep blue-green, knee high and soft against my legs and bare feet, Elena is wearing a flowered dress. They run almost human slow. Then I am her, smiling as he draws up next to me. His silhouette is immensely comforting. I trip, tumbling into the sweet grass. I fall and roll, we laugh at my clumsiness. And like a dance, he is there to take my arm and help me up. I have been explaining the threat. This fits seamlessly with the male voice speaking at the end of the last segment. Elena tells him about what the sorcerer said.
      "He didn't." Stefan says, smiling.
"He didn't even get it!" Elena laughs, then they share a joke, singing "I put a spell on you, and now you're mine." and express their disbelief that their new villain said it in all seriousness. I separate from Elena and pull back as they reach the river and leap across, as graceful as deer.

    11. A Day’s Transition to Vampire Witch

      by , 06-09-2015 at 09:11 PM
Morning of June 9, 2015. Tuesday.

I have had more vampire-related dreams in the past month than I have had in my lifetime, which is hardly any as stated several times before. In this one, which is fairly vivid though not lucid, I am also a young female, which I suppose sounds unusual to the inexperienced. Then again, considering I dream fairly often of being a letter of the alphabet or a rune (as well as having been vehicles, including a bus - and even a building), the situation is moot.

In this dream I mostly fly around showing my fangs to anyone who annoys me and sometimes creating lightning from my fingertips. My flying position is typically upright, though sometimes diagonal. There is a scene where I take the heads off of several males and roll them across an area in a parking lot near a storefront, like a bowling ball. I am not exactly sure what I look like, though after a time, my dream takes on a new theme.

The only familiar characters at any point are my best friend from school days (Toby T) and my wife’s mother. There is a strange changeover in emotion. I “know” I am female, though there is a point where doubt begins to grow. I am at a movie theater (prior to seeing any known characters) where everyone else is nude, and I feel very embarrassed about wearing clothes (recurring in-dream situation), especially such a large fancy outfit, so much so, I begin to move away, closer to the theater wall so people will not know I am dressed. I contemplate removing everything I am wearing, but my dream shifts to a different setting and situation.

Somehow, someone “knows” who I am, though the setup makes no sense. I am recognized as an actress by at least two people at some sort of public venue, though apparently actually a male, yet still a female in the movies. As I am standing, even though I get a vague impression I may be male (I feel a small movement which creates the impression of a small animal crawling under my clothes - and seems rather unfamiliar yet somehow “right” and some sort of “evidence” that I may be male), I decide I will be nude from then on to prove my status as a “real” female vampire witch. (This is completely different from the first scenes of my dream in my character focus and overall mood.) I “know” that I will excel in exposing these other people as just gossipers. (Besides, the mouse will probably escape and not be seen anyway - in-dream “logic” - imagine a male part being able to come and go like a small animal with a mind of its own.) My total certainty about this aspect of my dream is a very familiar but ambiguous presence of somehow knowing I am the dream-maker, yet not at all lucid.

In another scene, which seems to be a different dream, I seem to be a male (though still associated with magic and vampirism). I am in some sort of friendly meeting with three unknown females with darker skin, in an undefined building (in a mostly featureless rectangular room and sitting on the floor). Although they seem to like and care about me in what seems an augmented empathic setting, I feel a bit strange (but do not express how I feel) in putting on a pair of pants that are over-sized, the crotch and back area almost bowl-like and almost going up to my chest when pulled fully up against my body. I will certainly need a belt, but at the time, I do not have one. It is difficult to imagine going out in public like this with any sense of dignity. One of the females leaves to go to a public venue. Once again, I feel embarrassed upon wearing clothes in-dream (a lifelong recurring theme, often associated with realizing my pants are an ugly or weird style, sometimes clown-like) even though the three females are dressed informally for the most part and do not appear out-of-place.

    12. Not Quite Dracula

      by , 06-04-2015 at 12:04 PM
Morning of June 4, 2015. Thursday.

As I have written in a few other entries, I have never had a “serious” dream about vampires (or zombies either). In fact, the only vampire dreams at all have only occurred in more recent years (which is unusual in that I watched far more vampire movies when I was younger yet never dreamed of being chased by one - probably because I never found vampires scary or threatening in any way even when young, this in my realization of how many dreams are otherwise directly or even solely influenced by movies or television shows regardless). This entry makes the sixth online entry (main tumblr journal) regarding the vampire theme (out of about 2,000 online foundational entries for my more complex and revealing work later on, hoping to build to about a meager 10,000 which represents only about a quarter of my writing), and there are not that many others documented. Obviously, without Hollywood movies, or perhaps more detailed literature as such, there would be no dreams about vampires - only less detailed monstrous threats perhaps (with human features), such as other types of unrealistically-rendered “demons”. I have dreamt of a large threatening bat but in a different context. The “were-hyena” dream (from 1990) is one of the only human-like fictional monsters I found threatening, and that dream was mainly a result of real-time environmental audio precognition (where I dreamed of a particular sound before it being linked to a very similar sound in reality - a type of recognized and personally well-documented dream anomaly I have never read about elsewhere).

In this dream, there is no direct instance or coherent rendering of my dream-self. I am mostly watching as if being a vaguely-aware bystander. The main character is a male of about forty at the most, of whom I do not know or find familiar in any way. He is in a meeting with Dracula and seated to my right at an old wooden table. Dracula is on my left but is rendered with extreme distortion. While he has the head of a bat (only about half the size of a human head), that head is hanging down from a snakelike neck so that his head is actually not visible to the person he is conversing with and actually at about the level of just below his ribs. It seems to involve the vampire wanting the man to read for him (in my last nonthreatening vampire dream, I was to write Dracula’s biography). Apparently, the man is illiterate or not a very good reader and seems to be explaining this.

Over time, I began to notice “more” (which is probably a typical changeover). The bat head may be either fake or be an additional extension from the snake-like “neck” from his upper chest area. I notice what looks like a sheet over a human head which is then implied to be the “real” vampire’s head - a dream detail which is probably a result of posting online an older - though enhanced with adult writing style, and freshly researched - dream from 1969 (“Sgt Carter Stalked by Killer Newspaper” from March 8, 1969). Although a new dream being influenced by a minor focus on a much older dream is something I have come to see occur more often as I grow older, I have more recently noticed it as having occurred now and then in past times more than originally noticed or realized.

I suspect the man is not that surprised by the distorted vampire because I get the impression that he cannot see very well (although the vampire with the sheet over his head probably cannot see very well, either - even if he saw through the additional low-hanging bat head eyes he would probably only see the underside of the table).

From here, my dream shifts into the vampire becoming something else, supposedly more “demonic”. He seems to be threatening as he walks toward a Rapunzel-like character and is growing horns as he is walking. However, it soon seems that he only has one larger horn though farther to one side, which makes me associate him with unicorns and juvenile fantasy. My dream takes on a rather distorted cartoon-like essence before collapsing into the abstract.

Interestingly, one of the first things I read when looking at another dream-based site today was someone dreaming about a vampire that changed into a creature with horns, without deliberately searching with such terms, though such synchronicity (or form of precognition) always happening continuously and too often to keep any record of.

    13. Being a Ghost Writer for a Vampire

      by , 05-23-2015 at 11:23 AM
Morning of May 23, 2015. Saturday.

As I have stated in past entries and within the scope of about 40,000 dreams, I have never once had a realistically threatening vampire or zombie dream. The oneironautic history that I note for the most part, contains only one comedic zombie dream (of the traditional kind - not relevant to the common modern misuse of the word) from 1981, and perhaps a handful of comedic vampire-related dreams.

This dream is no exception. There are only a few vivid scenes but there was nothing threatening at any point. It seems to have been based on a recent reflection of the Keanu Reeves “Dracula” movie from 1992, which seemed partly modeled after the Bugs Bunny cartoon “Transylvania 6-5000” (from 1963) and had too much of a carnival-like essence to feel anything like a horror film. However, the only scene I recall much from the movie was where Dracula and Jonathan Harker (Keanu Reeves) are talking (I think for the first time) and me remembering how incredibly astounded I was, as if I was halfway between being half-asleep and within a cartoon-like fantasy of one recursive panel. Additionally, the 1992 “Dracula” movie strongly reminds me of the Mad Magazine artist style of Sergio Aragones, especially “The Shadow Knows” feature (no relevance to the old-time radio program) where the altered shadow seems to be a “truthful representation” of what a person is thinking as in parts of the movie, making it more like a surreal and juvenile composite of Mad Magazine and the Bugs Bunny cartoon.

In my dream, I am apparently in a castle in Transylvania (on possibly the third or fourth storey), though it somehow feels, at times, like my childhood home in Cubitis (which only had the one ground-level storey). I have been hired by an older Dracula of about sixty years (who seems far more mature and “realistic” than the one from the 1992 movie) to write his memoirs, though the background stories of which are “too long” and extensive to make a feasible biography, so by which I need to make a condensed version based on thousands of old documents and records as well as listening to his stories and thus serving as his “ghost writer” as well as making real-time suggestions about what should be included. These numerous piles of old documents, stacked (each up to about a foot high though varying) at different angles and sitting about on at least four old equidistant wooden tables (of about two and a half feet high), though implied to be in a smaller room in the castle, “feel” during one time period, as if they are in my childhood bedroom in Cubitis, and may possibly represent, in some ways, the numerous dream journals and dream-related materials I had produced at the time (though this is only a guess). There is also a possible play on writing - linking “Pencil vania” with Transylvania and other terms including “trance” and “vein” or “vain” and perhaps even “brotherly love” concerning Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the idea of brotherly love superseding vampiric threat, though the later hand contact may be implied to be from my father (though I dreamed of both an older brother and my father during this same date in other dreams).

I am eventually seated in an armchair in what would otherwise feel like the northeast corner of the Cubitis living room (though again “actually” in the implied Transylvanian castle) with Dracula seated in another armchair to my right (this being the exact same location I had watched so many episodes of “Shock Theater” as a child, a main opening of which featured a vampire walking through a cemetery with parts of it enshrouded in mist). For a time, he places his left hand over the back of my right hand in a friendly manner. At this point, the sense of touch is greatly augmented and I clearly feel every nuance of his hand and fingers over the back of my hand, as well as the implied strength and even a slight reassurance (I do not really perceive myself as a potential victim as it is - besides, he needs me to ghostwrite his biography). After seemingly several minutes, he removes his hand as if perhaps the heat from my body is “too warm” for him to bear for very long (some sort of odd in-dream logic I guess).

I do not remember much after this, though the concept of a vampire must surely be different in-dream due to their apparent inability to tolerate warmth for very long (possibly a play on one lore being that they cannot be in daylight, which infers warmth). It is also possible that the vampire’s hand over mine is a result of “contact” (or the suggestion of such) by a “newly born” dream entity or tulpa in an attempt to inform me that I am in a dream state (yet which did not trigger lucid awareness as such). The final scene is also possibly one reason why I have never dreamed of vampires in any “serious” context - that is, they cannot be a threat if they cannot tolerate human body heat (even though that does not project the nature of the “real” lore as such - though my own mind’s logic seems to supplant it automatically whenever I am in a dream state).

    14. Willy Wonka and the Murderering Demon Vampires

      by , 04-01-2015 at 08:40 AM
I haven't posted in a little bit, but I have been keeping track of my dreams! Alot of them I have been writing in my paper journal for lack of time online, and when I couldn't do that I have an emergency "sketchbook" style notebook to write quick notes in. Realistically I have alot of these sketch-style notes that need to be transformed into journal entries.

But here I will tell you about how I got Lucid FINALLY after recording and obsessing about recording! In it, my dream journal, the thing most on my mind lately, became my dream-sign.

      ------
      3.30.2015

It starts out on a farm my landlord owned in my dream. I was looking after it for them with a dream-sister, although there wasn't much to take care of. All the animals they owned had disappeared without a trace, and no one knew what happened to them. I think this mystery, among other things, is what caused them to keep away from the farm and ask me to watch it for them. The farm was a very dull and bleak looking place. Imagine a cold winter day before any snow has fallen on the ground, but all the leaves had fallen from the trees. Barren trees, dull orange dry leaves, dull grey sky. It looked like it was 6AM, just before sunrise, all day long. And this appearance permeated through the entire farm, into the house. It was just very depressing.

There were other mysteries too. You would hear footsteps of people walking on the second floor, but no one besides me and my little sister were there. I think the farm hands and other people who worked on the farm disappeared along with the animals, so hearing footsteps was eerie. I think there was an understanding that something unearthly occupied the farm, although I am not 100% sure.

As to my dream-sister, she looked nothing like my actual sister in real life. I might add also, that alot of times in my dreams I am accompanied by a dream-friend or a dream-sister or my own sister in real life. I am rarely alone in my dreams. I like to think its my dream guide. This particular companion was a young girl of 10 or so, with blonde hair done up in pigtail style braids. She wore an old fashioned dress.

I remember a couple scenes in this house. I remember me and my sister in an office type of space attempting to hook up a laptop so we could use the internet. The only part of this room I really remember is the desk the laptop laid on, and the laptops themselves. The desk was that cheap particle board style desk you see in offices, with the base of the desk being made of beige colored metal. Everything was dusty, too. There was a main section of the desk where the "main laptop" would sit, and two fold out wings, slightly lower than the main portion, where smaller laptops sat. It was designed for a team to sit at the same desk and work together side by side. We were very excited to try and get it to work, but like I said..it was quite dusty and unused. I don't think we could get the computers to even power on, or there just was no internet in the area.

I remember walking through a small dark hallway in the home to get to a bedroom with my sister. A greenish yellow light glowed through one room to accent the darkness, like a painted yellow window bringing in the dull grey atmosphere of the outside into house. The bedroom, too, had a dusty, grey, old feel to it. The bed looked like it came out of the 1980s, infact. Another particle board mess, very low key and geometric, Blonde "wood", and pastel colored sheets. I think the whole reason I went lucid was because of what I did next. I was acting as if I was awake, and I had to go to sleep. My sister suggested I lay down, and I did. I laid down in the 1980s bed, laying in the same position I use in waking life, to my left side facing a wall. This is where I heard the walking and banging upstairs as I tried to fall asleep. My landlords in real life live above me in my house, and it is an actual thing for them to make lots of noise when getting ready for work at 4 AM. I think my mind was recreating this, only in my dream, ghostly things were stomping around instead.

I did my best to ignore it, covering my head with the blanket and closing my eyes. Very weird to try and sleep when in a dream, but it was just as it was in real life. Nothing zany happened when I closed my eyes, just the usual darkness. The banging continued, but I just ignored it and continued to focus on falling asleep.

This next part, I don't know in what order of the dream it occurred. Maybe here!

I remember I had wanted to grab my dream journal and "emergency" red journal from home, because I knew I would be staying at the house for a while and wanted to use the opportunity to write down all these dreams I have been stockpiling for the past few days. I remember going to my boyfriends house - not my house! - and searching for them around and under the cushions of their living room couch. I reached under the leftest most cushion and..voila! my dream journals! Just as I found it, a little funny gremlin looking demon appeared to my right, in the fireplace or floating near it. He wasn't a menacing monster, just something you would imagine seeing in a kids book or a cartoon. Ugly, but not scary. He popped in to taunt me about my sister, how I left her all alone. He told me she was in danger in a mocking way. Maybe he even implied HE was kidnapping her! I got angry and nervous, and decided to get my butt back to the farm house to make sure she was ok. I vaguely remember the demon showing me a video of my sister. She was sitting with other kids in a daycare setting (the same grey dullness), doing some kind of craft project on little circular tables like you'd see in a school. Suddenly someone called to her, and she got up and walked off camera. So, I rushed to her rescue!

I guess my sister was taken to the usual place bad stuff happens in my dream, my childhood home, "B Street". Always, no matter what, I find myself back in that house with its spooky basement full of ghosts! Anyways, I had to take a train there to rescue her, but I missed it completely.

Rather than give up hope, however, I said "why don't I just fly there?"

This is where things get weird. I cant figure out how all this worked out in my dream. Maybe it just doesn't make sense! I am back sleeping in the 1980s bed, or maybe I woke up a little in real life, or maybe I was just dreaming of dreaming again. Whatever the case, I was back to having my eyes closed like I was trying to go to sleep. When I suggested to myself to just fly there, a flash of purple and pink lit up my blackness, and the desire to fly to where I needed to go went from just a mere thought in my head, to a visualization, to a dream. I saw myself sliding down a steep hill like a videogame character, and saw myself glide over a gap at the end of this hill to a platform on the other side. (Very videogame-like. Just imagine Mario64 styled levels or Banjo Kazooie. Very polygonal, this section.) At this point I was having trouble. Its always a gamble with me when it comes to transitioning from "vague idea/visualization" to "holy crap I am dreaming!" because at some point you need to "open your eyes". When visualizing the gliding/flying, my eyes were "closed". I flew from that platform I glided to, and flew a little more to land in a small polygonic valley on the other side. I felt the sensation, that wonderful sensation, of dream flying while I did this. But my eyes were still "closed". I landed all cool in a fancy crouching pose, and just stayed there for a little bit.

"You have to open your eyes, you know." I thought to myself. "Its always a gamble, but you have to try!"

So I did. The first try, I opened my eyes to a faded black scene, like a stage set where all the lights are out. You can just see the vague shapes of the things around you but nothing concrete at all. It was because I was trying to go to B street, still determined in my mission. I was trying to visually construct that place with my consciousness, but I just sucked at it. I saw shaped of trees, and the valley I was in sort of transformed into a little side lawn on a side of a house that actually was on B street. But it was all dark and formless. So I closed my eyes again, and thought really hard. "You're in B STREET!". I opened them again. Same thing. I closed them again. As usual when in these kind of pickles, I said "screw it, let me just let the dream take me where it wants me to go." After coming to terms with my suckiness, I opened my eyes one final time.

Oh sweet goodness! So wonderful to open your eyes when lucid to a new world!

I was not in B street at all. I was in something that looked like it came out of the newer Willy Wonka movie. I was still in my little valley, and it was still kind of dark like before, but past this was a vividly colorful hill, a bright spring green. It was framed by bright red velvet and gold tasseled stage curtains, and it went up in steps to a scene on the tippy top, like a big green staircase. At each "step", red and white candy cane looking swirlie structures decorated the hill. There were yellow and white flowers, too, and maybe a cobblestone walkway. I was, as usual, in awe of the clarity of being here, and just took it all in. I tried rubbing my hands to get more in the moment, but it didn't really bring any texture or more realism to the situation. I usually don't bother with sensation alot anyways. I find constantly rubbing my hands to be distracting, but I do try it from time to time. I saw on the top of a hill, a little scene. Maybe a tree in shadow, with a park bench sitting besides it, and someone lounging in it, like they were sleeping. It was either my sister fainted from being kidnapped, or the bad guy in the plot lounging in a smarmy sort of way. I couldn't see the top immediately, so I focused my eyes (go me for doing more than one focusing technique!), and as I did so I began walking up the hill.

Like a dream does, as I neared the top, the scene transformed. I also got a little more numb the closer to the top of the hill I got, but I was still using my conscious mind just fine. The top of the hill transformed itself into a medieval/fantasy looking church, and waiting inside for me was the villain. The church was completely open from where I walked into it. Inside, it had a lobby sized area for maybe a couple of people or parishioners to sit. It was small by cathedral standards but it also fluctuated in that respect as well. To the left of the "parishioner" area was a rounded room, almost a large alcove. It was completely walled in glass windows that gave a view to a forest outside. In front of the parishioner area was where the priest would usually go. In the dream this section was only a few steps higher than the congregation area, whereas in real life its usually a little taller I think. There was a big rounded stain glass window here like a traditional church, but the exit door to the other side of the church was there too. The right side of the church was just a wall. The entire thing was in light grey stone, with pillars and steps and all the nice things you'd find in an older church. Where the priest's place was stood the villain. It was a taller 20 year old with brown-red hair and pale skin, wearing black. She was a vampire. She kidnapped my sister and was going to feed off of her and turn her into a vampire, too. I am not sure what ended up happening to my sister in this struggle. the brunette vampire was, I think, behind her and sucking on her neck or threatening to. She might have even turned her into a vampire already and I had to fight her off. Whatever the case, my sister was getting in the way of my battling the evil vampiress. Either I had to break her neck and push her into the window alcove, or the vampiress threw her in there after sucking on her blood and she passed out and fell in there. In the dream, as in my favorite show "Vampire Diaries", cracking ones neck didn't kill them immediately. It just sort of knocks someone out.

(I was still SLIGHTLY lucid btw.) I tried to punch at the vamp while she hid behind my sister. My punches connected but they did little to her, and she laughed them off. Once my sister was out of the way, I kept trying to punch her out and stop her from killing her and me. I didn't want to kill the evil vamp I don't think. I wanted to either cure her or just stop her from hurting other people. If there was a way to end it in a peaceful or less definitive way, I was willing to try it. However, my methods were not working, and I decided I had to worry more about my unconscious sister than keeping this woman alive. Now that I think of it, I think my sister was going to turn into a vampire, so it was a race against time to stop the villain before she turned. I think I needed the evil villain's blood to stop the transformation, or killing off the villain stopped it. Since I was so stressed for time, I reach over to the brunette vampire, said "Ah screw it!", and snapped her neck. Instantly she crumpled to the floor, completely defeated.

I ran over to where my sister was laying and helped her up as she came to. Did I give her blood? Not sure. She looked differently at this point, though. What was once my blonde, fancy dressed little sister was a squat little anime chibi dressed in kimono. She had a big bobble head, and her hair was black now. She stood up and was fine.

After that I woke up and happily wrote all this down! Yay!
      END
      ----
      Influences:
VAMPIRE STUFF: Definitely Vampire diaries! One of few shows I watch, I guess I was thinking about it that night. I even thought perhaps the bad guy of this show, "Claus", was in my dream!
Stompy stomp stomp above my head!: My landlord's wonderful habit of causing ruckuses every morning. Its why I wear earplugs.
Getting to sleep: I have been OBSESSING with going to bed at a good hour since restarting my Lucid dream mission!

And of course, my dream sign was MY DREAM JOURNAL because of my recent obsession with writing in it. Having it in my hand in the dream made me think of dreaming, so I was able to easily figure things out. Dreaming was on my mind, so it was an easy transition, and my journal was the reminder!

      Dream - Vampirism
I seem to be some kind of vampire that can disguise myself by changing the colour of my skin. The world is similar to the series RWBY, and I'm infiltrating a Faunus hideout to drink their blood. I do this by changing my skin colour to green so they think I'm a Faunus too.

      Note:
Kept falling asleep during SSILD cycles, eating a snack wakes me up more so I'll have to try find a decent midnight snack.
