      A kid false-awakens me and I find 27 kittens (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I had a false awakening when I found myself being false-awoken by a kid who was screaming at me. For some reason this kid needed help to find something in the house, but as he was sharing this with me, I dozed off back to sleep and I could see that he was placing a piece of manchego cheese on my mouth:

I felt weird because I would not feel like cheese when I did not even got off from bed, but I was false-awoken once more from this same kid. Apparently, during my sleep I made a huge mess during the house, like if I was a zombie or something. I got out of bed and I found myself in a huge home, it had over 20 rooms and very high end decor, with a lot of upscale wooden furniture. Apparently, there was magic too at this places and there were some rooms under some spells.

I toured around the house with that kid's parents (and I believe now I was that kid) and they shown a few rooms. One of them, had a smashed piano and a lot of food sitting around:

In other room, it was like dark, with very dark blue colors and it was all messed up also. I was also taken to the kitchen, where the fridge was empty and open as well as damaged. The parents appeared pretty upset, but I did not understand what was going on. I tried to scape this place without success, so I was flying in confusion. I saw a huge crystal building, but I had no clue how to enter it, it had some sort of force-field.

A voice told me to follow a magical fish so I started to swim and saw some rocks that I could break. As I followed this being, I realized that it was a way to enter the house, underwater. As I got in, the home looked well furnished and apparently, I was going to live there now, and my wife appared out of nowhere. Now it was me again (in my real dream body) and there were 27 kittens sitting one next to each other on a huge bookcase. My wife told me now we owned all those cats. I wondered how my cats would feel about living with 27 more.

      Plane crash (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was inside a plane and there were a lot of people in it, more than normal. I felt uneasy and I had a bad premonition about something nasty about to happen (I love to fly and I have taken a plane hundreds of times during my whole life) Then, the dream turned in third person and I could see the plane sideways and about to hit the ground with a wing, until it did, crashing big time, but the impact did not hurt and neither the people freaked out (despite some of them were injured.) The dream now went back into first person and I was at the airport and I could see the plane in very bad shape, but only, on the wing it actually crashed:

I needed to wait at the airport to provide energy healings to people as many as I could as well as to heal myself (apparently, now I had a wounded arm.)

From here, I became a personnel of the airport and I was taking to a co-worker about the big mess and wondering how long it would take to cleanse everything.

I also told him that I won a $15 million jackpot on the lottery and I wanted to travel around the world. I could see that there were many people at the airport, but they all were outside, running around where the planes were landing and taking off (now the airport apparently was functioning like if nothing happened.)

I also saw cars driving and there were some criminals shooting people. I felt at peace because somehow I knew I was not in danger.

      Smoked bees (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was having a drink with my wife at a cafe and suddenly i heard the noise of buzzing bees. I tried to stay still to face my fear to bees, but suddenly, I saw that there were some guys smoking the bees:

I then started to feel very uncomfortable because these bees where indeed disturbed and they could sting me because of this. I stood up while my wife kept staying, "Stay still, it's okay!" I told her that the bees were angry and i ran indoors into the cafe.

As far as I can remember, this dream started in a forest of some kind. I was with these scientists, and they were studying a kind of monkey, or perhaps it was a monkey/human hybrid, I don't know either. Then the dream just shifted to a swamp, and now the scientists were on the edge of a swamp, looking through their binoculars into the swamp at...some newly discovered subspecies of the common cricket. I found that ridiculous, I mean it's just a cricket, so I went into the swamp to take a better look. And when I went into the swamp, it just inexplicably grew in size and it got larger. So to get out of it, I followed the frog's example by jumping from one lilly pad to another and occasionally I had to jump on the back of sleeping crocodiles. But this was really getting me nowhere. And now I thought, What am I doing here, in the swamp? Let me just get out of this darn place. So I levitated out of there. I rose up and just levitated. Strangely, when I did this, I was in an upside down position and my feet were oriented to the sky above. It took quite a considerable amount of effort to "pull" myself up through the air. Then I righted myself into a normal position and continued levitating upwards until I could no longer see the swamp. And so I hovered for a second or two among the clouds, and then I stretched out my arms and just started gliding. And I was gliding for quite a bit now. When I was gliding, it wasn't like powered flight, I just went forward and controlled the direction I wanted to go, while slowly descending down to the ground. But I couldn't go higher in the air. I could either glide or levitate, not do both at the same time. Anyway I flew over this Italian-style town and flew farther over this small hill/mountain and beyond it was a huge pool. And huge is an understatement here. It was like an olympic size pool, kinda like the artificial wave pool they have in the water park. But as I was gliding I was slowly descending downwards, and at the rate I was going I was gonna land right in the water, and I can't swim. So I steered to the right and landed on the side of the pool, since I didn't have enough speed to fly over it. Now the theme of this pool was red. Everything was red, the slides that go from the top of the mountain into the pool, the big umbrellas on the sides of the huge pool, even the swimming outfits of the people! I tried changing everything to blue, and for a split second it seemed to work, but then shifted back to red again. So here I am, in my dream, at the side of the pool debating with myself what kind of location I should create to explore next, when suddenly I woke up.

    6. Stop Sign Beat-Down

      by , 10-17-2014 at 08:17 PM
      Non-Dream Dream

      Dream 1:

I believe I had this dream twice in a row last night - as if I did things wrong the first time through and then I had an opportunity to fix things the second time. I only remember the second one. I am in a house in a narrow kitchen with white tile. There is an evil woman (possibly a witch) there who I am supposed to battle - I think it is a sword fight. There is a large crowd and they are all on my side because apparently this woman is terrorizing our civilization. She is an older woman - possibly in her 50s - and in my dream I think she is my mom (although she bears no resemblance to my mother in waking life).

We go out into the back yard and the setting resembles something out of the show Game of Thrones. There is a small concrete section in the back right corner of the yard. The woman steps onto this section with her back to the stone fences and is ready for battle although she has no weapon. Instead of a sword I have what appears to be a stop sign. She gets into a position where her arm is somehow laid out on the concrete. I walk up to her holding the stop sign by the metal post and start hitting / smashing her arm with the sign portion. Initially she laughs at me. (This is very similar to the scene in Game of Thrones where Daenerys ties the lady up to the wooden structure and sets her on fire. The lady initially says she will not scream but ends up screaming later). After several smashes it begins to hurt her but she has too much pride to show any weakness. I continue smashing and she eventually breaks and screams "please stop!" She stands up and I continue smashing the sign over her head until her shoulder ignites. The fire spreads across her entire body. She drops to her knees and changes into a younger woman and starts calling out for her mother.

      Dream 2:

I am at work in a lab. I am running western blots on my DEG project looking for BR. The results show crystal clear degradation products - 16 bands to be exact. I ask SC if the number of bands correlate with splice variants.

      Dream 3:

I am out in the woods with RL and AM from work. I have a high powered rifle with a scope. There are two people guarding a bright blue orb that I am supposed to destroy. I am hiding in the bushes next to a larger group of the enemies. I sneak around this group and go up a hill to where the guards are. I take out the one of the guards with a single shot and then I have trouble shooting the other one. He is a much better fighter. Just like in "Dream 1" I get a do-over like in a video game. This time I try to take out the good fighter first. It takes me two shots but I get him, then I easily take out the other guard. In order to get to the blue orb I have to sprint across a 100ft section where I am susceptible to being shot by the larger group below. I make it past and start shooting the orb as the large group closes in on me. It takes 3 shots to destroy the orb.

      Dream 4:

I am on a red planet with no plant life and no structures. Just dirt as far as the eye can see - similar to what I imagine mars would look like on the surface. There are giant rolling hills everywhere which makes it difficult to see very far. There are enemies scattered around and they can be identified easily because wherever they stand the ground turns black.
    7. Fireball Explosion!

      by , 10-17-2014 at 06:21 PM
Last night I decided to get up at 3:00 Am and try the WILD technique. I usually practice this technique once or twice per week. I started off lying in bed on my back, and then my right side, and left, then again on my back, and then on my right side again. This went on for about an hour and half, staying in one position for as long as I could stand it. No dreams forming, just random images. Suddenly, and instantly, there’s a full screen dream right in front of me! I’m at a campsite and there’s a big pile of wood in the fire pit. To enter the dream, I decided to raise my right hand with a burning match to light the fire. I could see my hand holding the burning match. I moved towards the fire pit, stepped into the dream, and then threw the match at the pile of wood. Bad idea, there was a massive fireball explosion, which threw me backwards right out of the dream (shortest lucid dream ever)! My body straightened right out, legs kicking, and then I rammed my big toe into my bed’s footboard. My toe still hurts. BTW, in my waking life, I usually throw a gallon of gas on a campfire to light it.
    8. Two Types of Giants

      by , 10-17-2014 at 04:17 PM
Morning of October 17, 2014. Friday.

In my first dream, I start to go out the back door into the backyard of our present home. Before I get outside, I notice, to my right, a long row of watermelons growing on an oversized watermelon plant. They are each about twice the size of a real one and also longer than normal. At first I am in awe about the overgrowth and wonder why they have not yet been picked or used. I then start to think about how we could live on them for a long time. They look very healthy and nutritious.

My above dream experience was seemingly triggered in a telepathic sense (for lack of a better term), as my wife saw a very large watermelon on a television show she had watched and not mentioned it to me at all. She said she had been wondering how they grew so big. This happens continuously from day to day though; that is - dreaming of something Zsuzsanna had been focused on but not told me about. There is, however, an interpretation at that level regardless of the other influences. It always relates to an interesting and complex very personal synchronicity.

In another dream, there is a foundry that is somewhat rundown but still in operation in an unknown town. Two unknown males are working at the time. They seem to be in a cheerful mood. There are numerous giant antlions (both larva and adult flying form) that come in, seemingly endless in number. They (the larvae) are each about the size of a watermelon. Many of them (mostly the larvae) end up falling into a deep shaft or deep vertical pipeline where they are apparently incinerated. The multitude of these giant insects does not seem that threatening a situation even though they seem to be all over the world. Their being trapped like this seems to be some sort of coordinated effort to decrease their population.

It is curious that both watermelons and antlions represent sensuality, the first in a positive life-enriching sense, the second in a negative sense regarding commitment (in fact, the main genus of antlion is Myrmeleon, an amusing but unintentional distorted play on “my melon”). Watermelons, with their round curves and pink flesh, are nourishing, while ants go so far and then are committed to their choice and cannot get away from their involvement no matter how much they tread ground. This is probably me contemplating how I see myself in contrast to society. I have had fulfilling sensuality most of my life, especially over the last twenty years, yet at some levels, see human society as an “infestation”, yet not without a “foundry” to reshape potential.

    9. [LUCID] Beer in space / Scanning stations / At the hotel / Traffic signal + Flying and pumpkin hunt

      by , 10-17-2014 at 02:56 PM
I go to bed at 10:50, intending to get up with my wife's 6:30 alarm. A few hours later I wake for some reason (no recall) and return to sleep. At 3:10 a kid makes noise and wakes me. I jot down a fragment then return to sleep. At 5:50 a kid wakes me as she uses the bathroom. She's coughing once she returns to bed, so I take her some water. I can't seem to get back to sleep, and I hear my wife's restlessness and know she can't either. At 6:15 she gets up and showers, and I fall asleep while she's in the shower.

      Beer in space
I'm on a very traditional star ship (or maybe a space station?), walking through the corridors. It's a very traditional design, with identical gray corridors meeting frequently. I'm totally lost, but that's OK: I'm wandering around the place trying to get a feel for it.

Now I see the officers in the conference room, where everyone is looking out the windows. Captain Picard looks out last and gets a disgusted look on his face when he sees what the rest do: a giant brown beer bottle floating in space, spinning slowly. As the label rotates into view, everyone can see it has a goofy picture of the captain, and the name of the beer and its catch phrase are poking fun at the captain. Everyone immediately knows this was done by Q.

      Scanning stations
I'm watching as defense stations around the world are doing some kind of scan. As I'm initially watching, there are 5 stations, but the number keeps growing as the dream continues. At first, I'm watching from inside some kind of control room. I'll see a quick clip from one control room, then I'll see a clip from a different control room in a different station. I can tell I'm seeing different stations because the people in the room change, but the room itself stays exactly the same. I'm surprised they'd use such an obvious trick to try to save on production costs; even the camera angle stays exactly the same! The last room I see is being run by a stocky Russian woman, and everyone is speaking in (what I identify as) Russian (though I can't understand a word of it).

Now I'm looking at a map of the earth that has all the stations marked out on it. I see red arcs appear from every station to every other station, then start to shrink. I assume that whatever is still under the arcs still needs to be scanned, and the places the arcs have shrunk away from are already scanned and determined not to have anything interesting.

      At the hotel
I'm in a nicely appointed bathroom. It's long and thin; one wall has a long row of sinks followed by a long row of urinals, while the other wall has only stalls. I'm walking back from the urinals towards the sinks. Initially I think I'm alone, but then I realize there's a woman at one of the sinks closest to me. I'm very surprised to see a woman in here, but I just walk around her and go on my way. She's doing something at her sink (washing her teeth, maybe?), and there's stuff on the floor around her (towels?).

Now I'm in the (impossibly huge) foyer of a hotel, standing in the middle at what I first assume to be a concierge desk. I'm with other people I know, and someone is talking about coffee. I realize that this isn't a concierge desk but is rather a tiny Starbucks. While he's getting his coffee, a woman in my group who's standing near me tells her friend that she's never had Starbucks and wonders what it's like. I tell her that Starbucks coffee is too heavily roasted, almost burnt, for my tastes.

Now I see a couple of people with small plates of food. I look around to see where it may have come from and realize that on the other side of the Starbucks is a small table with lots of fruit on it - I specifically see strawberries and chunks of pineapple. Despite being right next to the Starbucks, I think it's actually provided by the hotel, so it's probably complementary. I think about going and getting some.

Unclear traffic signal + Flying and pumpkin hunt
I'm driving a car of some kind, maybe an SUV (I've never driven an SUV IRL). I'm stopped at the top of a hill, waiting on a ramp to join with a larger road that's down and to my left. Between the large road and my ramp is a HUGE board that reminds me of a scoreboard at an athletic event. Most of the middle of the board is taken up with rows that look like they should be holding team names and scores; around the edge of the board I see more than one set of red/yellow/green traffic lights. Initially, the board is completely blank. Nothing is on the rows, and all the lights are off. Eventually one of the greens on the left-front of the board turns on, but since it's away from me I assume it's for the other road. Other lights start cycling, though none on the right. Up to this point I've been alone at the top of the ramp, but I still start to get concerned that maybe one of those lights was supposed to be for me, and I'd hate to hold up traffic. As I'm thinking about this, I realize that a motorcyclist is going around me, tired of waiting for me to go. I check my mirror and am horrified to see a long line of cars waiting behind me. I decide to ignore whatever the strange sign is trying to tell me and just go.

Now I'm on a three-lane, one-way street. Somehow I'm aware of the driver behind me not liking the left-hand merges he has to do on this road. I think nothing of the strangeness of knowing what another driver is thinking/talking about, but I do try to figure out what he means. If you're switching left, you merge left; if you're switching right, you merge right; so what's the big deal? I can't see how this road changes anything.

I start to get a vague sense of "wrongness" and decide to do a nose-pinch RC. Initially, it only seems to deepen the sense of wrongness; something's not right, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I keep doing it, eventually realizing that, yes, I'm still breathing through my nose (left nostril only), even though it's pinched. I do it a couple more times to confirm that, yes, I'm really dreaming.

Now I'm standing in front of a house on a kind of rock path made of very coarse white gravel and small rocks. The scene is very fuzzy, and I know I need to ground myself in the dream. I start by looking at my hand, but it's badly out of proportion, and I really want something to keep me here and not convince me I shouldn't be here. I kneel down and pick up one of the larger chunks of white rock. As I feel its solidness and hard edges, look at its shape, and study the sparkly flecks in it, the dream becomes crisp. I stand up and recall my goals for this dream: the basic challenge to cut open a pumpkin and see what's inside, and my personal goal of better flight.

Nearby, I see an open door into what looks like a small shed. I look inside to see if there any pumpkins here. As it turns out, there are two: a medium-sized one on a table to my left, and a small one on a counter near the back. I don't like the look of either of them and continue on my way. I remember reading about someone finding a pumpkin patch and decide to check if there's one behind the house, but there isn't. I change my mind about the pumpkins in the shed, figuring that any pumpkin will do, even if it's sickly looking. I return to the shed and take the larger of the pumpkins, but in my hand it changes into a collection of small orangish guards connected by strings. It's useless to me now, so I leave it.

During this first part of the dream, I frequently stopped to re-ground myself. Sometimes I studied my hand (slightly different each time), and sometimes I picked some part of the scenery to look at. From this point onward, I forget all about doing any further groundings.

Somehow I end up back in the house. I'm in what's probably a living room, though since the house is completely empty it's hard to tell. I'm standing on hardwood floors, and in front of me is a wall that's mostly window. Even the doors are mostly glass. I'm getting a bit frustrated with not finding my pumpkin, so I decide to move onto flying. After all, there's no reason I can't fly and look for pumpkins at the same time. I decide to start out by jumping. Last time I tried jumping in a dream, something really strange happened, and I want to see if I can do better. I manage to jump all the way to the (fairly high) ceiling, then gently float down, That was fun, so I do it again. But, jumping isn't flying, and it's time to fly!

Now I'm outside (not sure how I got here), flying about head-level off the ground. I know I'm flying, not just gliding like I have in previous dreams, so I know I can go as high as I want. I head up to about roof height, then come back down to head-height. Now I'm flying along above a field. To my right is a high school athletic field of some kind (baseball, maybe?) with a high chain-link fence around it. I see a few small groups of people talking near the fence. I know some of the people in the groups, and in one group I see Amy. I feel sad, thinking on how we used to be good friends but that she left all her old friends (including me) behind. I decide to give her a scare, so I fly by her and somehow pick her up in my wake so that she's flying behind me. Her additional mass slows us down, but I don't mind too much. We fly down the street into another neighborhood. I see Sarah H. standing by the street, and she sees me and gets an amazed, incredulous look on her face.

Now I'm in another house, in a small hallway. The outside door (some kind of side door) is behind me, and a set of bi-fold doors is in front of me. The doors remind me of the bifold doors in my wife's parents' old house that hid the washer and drier. I decide I'm done trying to "find" a pumpkin, and I'm going to add one into the dream. I know that asking DCs for something tends to work well, so I decide that I'm going to find a DC behind these doors, and that that DC will help me get a pumpkin. I open the doors and walk through to find a mother and daughter working on laundry. The mother looks like an old-fashioned washer woman: she's wearing an off-white blouse with a darker off-white skirt and has her hair pulled back and up in a floral handkerchief. I think the daughter is wearing something similar. I see that the mother has a rather tired, hard-bitten expression on her face, but I go ahead and ask her for a pumpkin. She gives me a look that says "I don't know why you're in my house, and I don't know why I'm talking to you at all" and eventually drawls that there aren't any pumpkins around here. Behind her, I notice a small table designed like a pillar, and I see that it has a small misshapen pumpkin sitting on it.
      Who Would You Nominate?-starfruit_whole1.jpg
I consider calling her on her lie but decide not to. I look over to her daughter to see if she'd be any more help, but then poof I wake up.

    10. DILD: A New Cat in the House

      by , 10-17-2014 at 02:29 PM
      10/17/14

      9am DILD

After a series of normal dreams, I fell asleep after my alarm waking me up again (maybe pressing snooze is a good technique for lucid dreaming?! always seems to trigger one) and entered a lucid dream.

I was in my living room and really thought I had woken up, but for some reason, it entered my mind that I should check if this is a dream, even if I thought it was silly because I was awake, and to my surprise, it was a dream! I forget how I checked it was a dream. Maybe levitation, but I don't think it worked when I tried to jump up. Even though my RC didn't work, I think just the process made me realize it was a dream by the tunnel vision I had looking at the floor.

From there, my mind sent me back to my room and I was standing by my bed and looking at my lamp. I knew lights didn't work in dreams, so instead I said "bright" and after a few tries with variations of the word, it works and the room was slightly brighter.

I went back into the living room and tried to turn on the light knowing it wouldn't work (and now that I think about it, I actually don't have a light switch where I tried) and it didn't.

My mind sent me from room to room and from a standing position to my bed quite a few times as I struggled to wake up.

I went out to the kitchen and saw my two cats, one grey and one black, and then noticed a third, white cat. We only have the grey and black cat in waking life. I knew all the while that this was just a dream and took the opportunity to bend down and pet the third cat.

Finally, in bed, my alarm goes off and I wake up. Probably should've explored more instead of trying to wake myself up and just let my alarm do the job! The whole dream I was very aware that I was dreaming, more so than the usual FA lucid dream. I had fun looking at my environment as I was trying to wake up, instead of the usual panic of feeling like I'm half dreaming.

    11. Flying just above the water

      by , 10-17-2014 at 12:30 PM
In my dream I was in the woods. There was a river there and I was on the riverbank. It seems like I was on a journey with this other guy trying to get somewhere. All of a sudden a flash flood caught us unaware. There was a rush of water coming down the river and there was nothing we could do in time. We couldn't get out of the way. I ended up clinging to the roots of a tree to keep my head above the water.

It took a minute like this, but then I realized I wasn't in danger. I let go and concentrated on levitation. It worked, I rose up out of the water and just hovered inches above it. This was fun, and I started flying low over the water, heading downstream. Just a foot or 2 above the water I sped along flying above it. Eventually I came out to the sea, but I continued flying low just above the water like this. It just look so amazing flying like this.

I'm sitting in my wheelchair and I have a black iPad on my lap, I'm listening to music with headphones plugged into the side of the iPad in the jack (the screen is white and seems to be slightly elevated).

      Fragments:
I am struggling immensely to put into words what exactly happened last night

      Dream - Lucid

I was trying to get something on my computer. Kayla was trying to tell me what to download. I think I ended up downloading some sort of virus. Someone helped me to get what I what I was actually looking for.

I was then riding on some sort of scooter thing with Chris and this cartoony-looking chameleon. I was wondering if I was engaged to Chris.
    14. Personal Dream

I'm going to abstain from typing up this one, because the whole thing was laced with family/personal issues so I won't go for it. Just so that I can remember the dream, I can share with you one funny moment.

My 11 year old cousin attempted to drive and ended up in a ditch.

And if you're wondering what happened to my nightly lucidity, well I had a bad headache last night and just wanted to get to sleep, lucid dream or not.

    15. Jade Bracelet

      by , 10-17-2014 at 09:37 AM
Someone had this bracelet thing with a stone bit on it I think made from Jade. I on multiple occasions would drop it and have to find my way back to finding it. I can only remember a couple.. One time I got somewhere and realised that I did not have it on me, I then had to catch a bus/train/tram back to get it from the side of the road. When I couldn’t find it I had to catch a bus to get help from the person that owned it. By the looks of it they had an amber bracelet thing as well. We reached the side of the road where I thought I had lost it and she ended up spotting it straight away. On another occasion I dropped it into the snow and had to search for it once it had nearly melted.

This may be from the night before but I remember having a dream about going up the mountain with Uncle Duncan, Karis, etc. Except the mountain was extremely narrow. The car would tip and it was just generally a scary(ish) dream. I can also remember another skiing dream whereas there was a gigantic mountain that you would catch the ski lift up to. I’m about 70% sure these were not related.
