    1. The Women's Restroom

by , 04-01-2015 at 10:28 PM (Xanous' Dream Journal)
      #427 - DILD - 12:08AM

I went to bed around 9pm but was having another very restless night. I ended up meditating a little and then falling asleep with "lucid dreaming" as a mantra.

I am driving; following my mom in another car. We are going to church, but she's super early for some reason. I turn off decided to see if Wal-Mart has an item I need IWL. As I turn down a side street, I contemplate going to church with my parents. I shout out loud, "I DON'T WANT TO GO TO CHURCH!" I look up at my rear-view mirror and see myself. I have a scowl on my face and my hair looks disheveled. Then, it dawns on my that I don't have to anymore. I'm a grown ass man. I decide I'll not go to church, but not go home either. I'll just spend the time shopping for stuff I've been wanting to buy.

I am suddenly in a fast food restaurant and I realize this sudden change in scene triggering lucidity. The first thing I think of is to find Bemistaken. I don't know why, but I feel like the women's restroom is the more logical place to look. I look to my left and see the restroom sign and entryway. I shout for Bemistaken and a stall opens up. A woman pops her head out smiling, but she only looks like a poor imitation. Rather than probing farther, I quickly dismiss the woman. I suddenly, recall the mirror task from last month and remember that I wanted to do it better. I turn to the sinks and push my face into the glass. The other side looks much the same, but I decide it must have just taken me through the wall into the men's room. The dream is starting to fade now, but I manage to look around and see urinals to confirm my idea. I quickly wake up.

      2:09AM

I am on a plane ride with my wife and kids. I try for a window seat but the plane is made like a hotel room. There are recliners near a large plane glass window. I want to take pictures of the view, but I have to fasten my way too young baby daughter in her car seat.

      5:45AM

I am with all the people I work with and we all see a tornado in the distance. I take a snapchat video and watch the replay. I can see sparks from power lines snapping. Suddenly, one is much closer and coming our way. We all turn to go back inside, but we are just in some old trailer house. It's a small tornado that blows over us. I heard popping and crashing, some glass shatters, but we are all fine. I ask about [someone] and my boss says she was caught outside. I go out and see my car is totally flat. I cry about not buying the Gap Insurance. I go to find my wife in another trailer. Her father is there and I ask about her whereabouts. He just shrug like he doesn't care. I berate him for this and then find her sleeping on a cot. I tell her about the car but she just stares at me blankly. I go outside to take a video of myself and my car. I try to tell what happened but I keep getting choked up. I should have just bought the Gap Insurance.

    2. "No Chicken" + "No Pants" (NLD fragments)

      by , 04-01-2015 at 07:08 PM
Recall has been terrible for the last week or more, absolutely minimal. Last night was a little better, maybe 2/10: I dreamed all night but could barely piece anything back together, even right after waking up.

NLD fragment, "No Chicken": I was in the backseat of a car being driven by someone else. I can't remember why we needed a live chicken. Although I had no awareness that I was dreaming, I knew instinctively that I should be able to conjure a chicken out of thin air by will alone, and I got frustrated after trying again and again with no success.

NLD fragment, "No Pants": My mom wanted to enter an underground cave complex that had been set up as a tourist site, but I was afraid they wouldn't let me in because I wasn't wearing pants. I solved this problem by taking off my bulky green sweater and slipping it on like a skirt, fastening it by tying the arms together in front. Though this left me with nothing but a sports bra on top, I buttoned my coat over it and at that point felt like I could pass muster. In the cave, I looked down at my improvised "skirt" and thought it was working pretty well—to a casual observer, it might even look like I was wearing a normal skirt with a sweater tied around my waist.

I commented, "Okay mom, this is the weirdest thing I've ever done." Though in retrospect I have to acknowledge that it really wasn't all that weird in the great scheme of things.

I was in a tunnel, rolling down rapidly while hearing a few clowns laugh. I poke my head out through an opening once and notice I was in a children playground center. I pop my head back in and climb my way back up to see what's at the end of the tunnel. As I go higher and higher a mist begins to become more frequent. It eventually blinds me till I started rolling down once more. I pop out of the inflated children building and see my two parents waiting for my return.

Before I approach both of them, I took the time to look to the side of the inflated playground. There was a ladder curled up but very large. My hand accidently knock it's cover off making apart of it come down. I check the employee that was working here did not notice what has happen. That is when I chose to sneak out and meet up with my parents outside. We began walking toward a road section and cross the road with two other people.

While we're at the middle of the road waitinf for other cars to pass by, my father ask me do I feel well or am I sick? I tell my father no I fine, when we notice no cars coming ahead we continue walking. I can now see a grassy field with kids playing soccer on it. Among them was my brother who was heading our way. My Father ask me me the same question, I told him you should already know that I never get sick. We all greeted my brother and walk on the side walk. Oneo f the kids kick the soccer ball to his way and he kick it back before I could.

The scenary had change in to the living room with the lights some what off. There was al ot of noise and quickly some person punch me in the nose. I stated my nose was bleeding and saw a few kids forcing a man on the ground. I went to the sink to wash out the blood till I notice the lights had came on. There was a kid wh othrew water all over my shirt, he quickly said it was my fault for being in the way. I got irritated and told him you're not suppose to throw things at other people.

The boy kept on doing the same thing so I force the bottle out of his hand with some effort. The bottle was purple and I believe it had a white flower label on the side. I began walking till the dream fade out.

I start off in third person point of view. My catches two creatures fighting from a distance. My focus begins to shift to them as my eyes feel like they are being drawn closer and closer to them. I am able to fully analyze the two. One appeared to be a butterfly/woman agaisnt a Lion headed man. The two were fighting on water and some how their feet does not submerge in to the ocean. The lion had just attack and quickly the Butterflywoman was knock off balance and softly began sinking downwards. Soon she rises back up with her wings still intact. The Lionman was no where to be seen. My line of sight increase in till it became first person point of view.

Once this happen I became lucid. I notice the butterflywoman laying on the water. Not far, was my Ra necklace. I walk toward it to pick it up. There had been a song playing all this time, the song mimic the fights progression. I begin to talk to myself about lucid dreaming while staring at the ocean. I realize I wasn't falling under the ocean either. Before I knew it my eye sight was staring inside my father room. I was awake. Lucidity Time: 6 seconds

-I was writing my previous dream down in my dreamjournal but when I saw the light wasn't on and I couldn't exactly feel the journal in my lap. This lead to me waking up and trying again, doing the same thing. Then this lead to me waking up for real to find my journal still blank. -_-

I really did have a dream before that one, but I was too sleepy to bother writing it down. ANd it was a really interesting one. Too bad I can't remember it now. :c

    5. Reflections, Glitches, and Fixes

      by , 04-01-2015 at 02:32 PM
Morning of April 1, 2015. Wednesday.

My dream starts with continuing concerns and focused computer-related ideas from my waking life, though I am not lucid at all. It concerns one of the real and weirder flaws in the Internet, primarily Google in this case, which astoundingly, no one at all seems to have noticed over the years. It concerns some sort of inversion glitch, whereby what you search for displays the opposite data depending on how it is done, with incomplete listings. For example, Google will claim that, for a particular newspaper, certain editions are not available and with access to the ones that are. I took screenshots of this since I doubt most people would even be capable of believing this. If you go into the same archive with a different method (or link), the opposite of what was previously claimed (in every case) will result. This remains in my mind just prior to sleep for a few reasons; one reason being that I had forgotten the exact method to reverse the inversion error to the opposite listing and one method was no longer viable; the other reason being that it is hard for me to believe so many thousands of people are so lacking in awareness over such a long time. However, the newspaper archive itself is much a mess, with random pages of newspapers within other editions and wrong dates often being listed. Still, with close attention, it is useful for my research and dream work documentation to a point (relative to my earlier childhood work).

Later on in my dream, an unknown female from the department of education visits us. The house seems completely unfamiliar though is possibly some sort of composite with rotated room layouts. I go into the room where my computer is and notice that it had seemingly been left on apparently overnight. Its appearance is quite different and it is a desktop rather than a tower. The front of it is some sort of transparent corrugated-like reflective surface which seems to light up (from the inside) with orange bars if it is on. A bright green light also supposedly indicates it is on (as in reality, though it is smaller and square and higher up - on my real tower it is near the bottom). However, after looking more closely, the power light is never actually on. The appearance of the light being on has to do with where I am looking at it from a particular area of the room. Regardless of the brighter light, walking about into different areas seems to make it go on and off, but what I learn is happening is solely related to reflections from another light source, possibly outside sunlight (though I am not sure). This scene is very vivid and rather strange because it really does seem like the power light is on at times. After playing with this apparent illusion for a fair amount of time, I leave the room.

The female from the department of education has my form templates and some apparent worksheets but when I go to look at them, it turns out to be a clothing catalog (with a few smaller pages within the normal-sized pages, one featuring a girl playing on a swing in blue jeans). Not all of the pages make sense as it is. Because I “must” use this as part of the education progress report, I contemplate how I am going to arrange certain sentences and such between different scenes that feature different clothing, some outside.

Soon after this, a rear column for the (fictional) canopy that for some reason is over the sofa she is sitting on starts to buckle. I go to check what is wrong, but she gets up out of concern for heavy weight falling on her due to some books and board games on the top of the canopy as well as some on a higher shelf on the wall (though I believe someone else warns her about it, possibly my youngest or second-youngest son). I notice fancy curtains hanging from the canopy (like on a canopy bed) and hanging down (but tied back to each column, looking rather regal) at the sides and front of the couch. Looking closely, I see that the column, which is mainly a hollow plastic beige cylinder, is both warped (as they are in reality in almost every cheaper bookshelf) mostly at the top and becoming smaller, tapering off to about half the diameter and oddly bent near the end for a short distance. The column is so warped, a part near the top is almost L-shaped, yet I still somehow manage to fit it back into the underside circular recess of the canopy (which would be impossible unless I somehow bent it back - yet it somehow seems to work as is regardless). By that point however, my two youngest sons are climbing over the couch and are taking down heavier books and board games to lessen the overall weight even though it is probably safer for now.
    6. mmm, cheese

Basically I was wandering around the first two floors of this building looking for food. Some people had ordered it and we were waiting for it to arrive. But the guys who ordered it disappeared on me, so I went exploring a bit. I figured they had gone out but would be back soon. It didn't take long but when I came back to the area we were first in, they still were not back, but I found the food in a room off to the side. I didn't know which sub sandwich was mine, but I was so hungry I was picking off toppings and eating them until some one could show up and say what was what. The pizza was all eaten, but a huge amount of melted cheese had slid off the pizza and they just left it. It tasted so good. I ended up waking up before anyone came back though.

    7. Calling the White Queen

      Sleep: OK
      Sleep Position: Unknown

I'm dreaming of using the smudge brush I use for my digital art. I start with one person, and paint out their best features. Then I overlay my picture onto another person, an exagerate their best features onto my my picture. I keep going, using different people and adding their best features to the whole of my image. By the time I'm finished, it's quite an impressive piece, and want to save it. As I try figure out how to go about saving it, I realize I'm in a dream, and there's just no way to save this masterpiece. Ever been disappointed that you're lucid? lol

A little reluctant to let go of my work, I decide I'm going to try and practice holding that image steady as long as I can. That seemed easy enough, so I began exposing it to things with strong influences. Overlaying my picture onto freaky looking people who would cause my image to change drastically, taking on their characteristics. WHen I removed my image, I could put it back it it's original form (more or less). Then I began literally saving it. I'd close it down, do something else for a bit, then periodically summon up the image again to see if it was staying the same. It was for the most part

I know, seems like a weird thing to do while lucid, but that's how I practice dream control. Trying to keep things steady without change in the dream is something I've never attempted to do before.

The influence behind this dream is that I was making more adventure time themed art before bed. The art just happened to be dream related. Not quite finished, below is just an early version.

    8. Disco, chase

      by , 04-01-2015 at 09:30 AM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
      First dream - fragment

I was at a school disco. There was a blonde girl that wanted to dance with me, but being a horrible dancer I refused, and slightly pushed her back when she was still insisting on. I went to the other room, and stood there for a while. I went back after a while, and met a friend. There were classmates in there too. I saw a second frined, he was dancing like he had an attack. Classmates laughed from him.

      Second dream

I was a pirate. With crew we stopped the boat close to the shore, and went on to steal something. I went off alone and met a girl and two other pirates, standing upon digged out holes. The treasure was stolen. Pirates run for a van, as the stolen treasure were transported out with trucks.

With the girl, we ran to closest vechicle - a wagon pulled by two horses. We drove, while a disco music played in the background. First I tried to learn how to steer it, and managed to steer them in the right way. We drove through the outskirts of city, and to the city centre.

When steering, I somehow managed to tangle the reins. We crashed in with a car, and escaped. In need of a quick vechicle, we tried to steal a motorbike, to no success. Angered, I ran to police vechicle and stolen it. We drove to some kind of canals.

We waited for the right moment, and when truck appeared, we drove with a high speed. I shouted Carmageddon! when close to crashing with the truck, but I missed. We waited again, and when we were close to the truck, I jumped inside it's cabin. I fought with the driver.

Suddenly he flewn out of the truck with jetpack. I was trying to hold on, but he punched me in my face. Instead of falling down, the driver tied me to the jetpack, and jumped out. I somehow found out how to control it, but I crashed. Nothing happened to me. I went back to the girl in police vechicle, but couldn't find her.

After a while I saw a "Mission unsuccessfull" text that appeared, and my view changed to third perso. I was a CJ from GTA SA, running around the canal.
    9. Willy Wonka and the Murderering Demon Vampires

I haven't posted in a little bit, but I have been keeping track of my dreams! Alot of them I have been writing in my paper journal for lack of time online, and when I couldn't do that I have an emergency "sketchbook" style notebook to write quick notes in. Realistically I have alot of these sketch-style notes that need to be transformed into journal entries.

But here I will tell you about how I got Lucid FINALLY after recording and obsessing about recording! In it, my dream journal, the thing most on my mind lately, became my dream-sign.

      ------
      3.30.2015

It starts out on a farm my landlord owned in my dream. I was looking after it for them with a dream-sister, although there wasn't much to take care of. All the animals they owned had disappeared without a trace, and no one knew what happened to them. I think this mystery, among other things, is what caused them to keep away from the farm and ask me to watch it for them. The farm was a very dull and bleak looking place. Imagine a cold winter day before any snow has fallen on the ground, but all the leaves had fallen from the trees. Barren trees, dull orange dry leaves, dull grey sky. It looked like it was 6AM, just before sunrise, all day long. And this appearance permeated through the entire farm, into the house. It was just very depressing.

There were other mysteries too. You would hear footsteps of people walking on the second floor, but no one besides me and my little sister were there. I think the farm hands and other people who worked on the farm disappeared along with the animals, so hearing footsteps was eerie. I think there was an understanding that something unearthly occupied the farm, although I am not 100% sure.

As to my dream-sister, she looked nothing like my actual sister in real life. I might add also, that alot of times in my dreams I am accompanied by a dream-friend or a dream-sister or my own sister in real life. I am rarely alone in my dreams. I like to think its my dream guide. This particular companion was a young girl of 10 or so, with blonde hair done up in pigtail style braids. She wore an old fashioned dress.

I remember a couple scenes in this house. I remember me and my sister in an office type of space attempting to hook up a laptop so we could use the internet. The only part of this room I really remember is the desk the laptop laid on, and the laptops themselves. The desk was that cheap particle board style desk you see in offices, with the base of the desk being made of beige colored metal. Everything was dusty, too. There was a main section of the desk where the "main laptop" would sit, and two fold out wings, slightly lower than the main portion, where smaller laptops sat. It was designed for a team to sit at the same desk and work together side by side. We were very excited to try and get it to work, but like I said..it was quite dusty and unused. I don't think we could get the computers to even power on, or there just was no internet in the area.

I remember walking through a small dark hallway in the home to get to a bedroom with my sister. A greenish yellow light glowed through one room to accent the darkness, like a painted yellow window bringing in the dull grey atmosphere of the outside into house. The bedroom, too, had a dusty, grey, old feel to it. The bed looked like it came out of the 1980s, infact. Another particle board mess, very low key and geometric, Blonde "wood", and pastel colored sheets. I think the whole reason I went lucid was because of what I did next. I was acting as if I was awake, and I had to go to sleep. My sister suggested I lay down, and I did. I laid down in the 1980s bed, laying in the same position I use in waking life, to my left side facing a wall. This is where I heard the walking and banging upstairs as I tried to fall asleep. My landlords in real life live above me in my house, and it is an actual thing for them to make lots of noise when getting ready for work at 4 AM. I think my mind was recreating this, only in my dream, ghostly things were stomping around instead.

I did my best to ignore it, covering my head with the blanket and closing my eyes. Very weird to try and sleep when in a dream, but it was just as it was in real life. Nothing zany happened when I closed my eyes, just the usual darkness. The banging continued, but I just ignored it and continued to focus on falling asleep.

This next part, I don't know in what order of the dream it occurred. Maybe here!

I remember I had wanted to grab my dream journal and "emergency" red journal from home, because I knew I would be staying at the house for a while and wanted to use the opportunity to write down all these dreams I have been stockpiling for the past few days. I remember going to my boyfriends house - not my house! - and searching for them around and under the cushions of their living room couch. I reached under the leftest most cushion and..voila! my dream journals! Just as I found it, a little funny gremlin looking demon appeared to my right, in the fireplace or floating near it. He wasn't a menacing monster, just something you would imagine seeing in a kids book or a cartoon. Ugly, but not scary. He popped in to taunt me about my sister, how I left her all alone. He told me she was in danger in a mocking way. Maybe he even implied HE was kidnapping her! I got angry and nervous, and decided to get my butt back to the farm house to make sure she was ok. I vaguely remember the demon showing me a video of my sister. She was sitting with other kids in a daycare setting (the same grey dullness), doing some kind of craft project on little circular tables like you'd see in a school. Suddenly someone called to her, and she got up and walked off camera. So, I rushed to her rescue!

I guess my sister was taken to the usual place bad stuff happens in my dream, my childhood home, "B Street". Always, no matter what, I find myself back in that house with its spooky basement full of ghosts! Anyways, I had to take a train there to rescue her, but I missed it completely.

Rather than give up hope, however, I said "why don't I just fly there?"

This is where things get weird. I cant figure out how all this worked out in my dream. Maybe it just doesn't make sense! I am back sleeping in the 1980s bed, or maybe I woke up a little in real life, or maybe I was just dreaming of dreaming again. Whatever the case, I was back to having my eyes closed like I was trying to go to sleep. When I suggested to myself to just fly there, a flash of purple and pink lit up my blackness, and the desire to fly to where I needed to go went from just a mere thought in my head, to a visualization, to a dream. I saw myself sliding down a steep hill like a videogame character, and saw myself glide over a gap at the end of this hill to a platform on the other side. (Very videogame-like. Just imagine Mario64 styled levels or Banjo Kazooie. Very polygonal, this section.) At this point I was having trouble. Its always a gamble with me when it comes to transitioning from "vague idea/visualization" to "holy crap I am dreaming!" because at some point you need to "open your eyes". When visualizing the gliding/flying, my eyes were "closed". I flew from that platform I glided to, and flew a little more to land in a small polygonic valley on the other side. I felt the sensation, that wonderful sensation, of dream flying while I did this. But my eyes were still "closed". I landed all cool in a fancy crouching pose, and just stayed there for a little bit.

"You have to open your eyes, you know." I thought to myself. "Its always a gamble, but you have to try!"

So I did. The first try, I opened my eyes to a faded black scene, like a stage set where all the lights are out. You can just see the vague shapes of the things around you but nothing concrete at all. It was because I was trying to go to B street, still determined in my mission. I was trying to visually construct that place with my consciousness, but I just sucked at it. I saw shaped of trees, and the valley I was in sort of transformed into a little side lawn on a side of a house that actually was on B street. But it was all dark and formless. So I closed my eyes again, and thought really hard. "You're in B STREET!". I opened them again. Same thing. I closed them again. As usual when in these kind of pickles, I said "screw it, let me just let the dream take me where it wants me to go." After coming to terms with my suckiness, I opened my eyes one final time.

Oh sweet goodness! So wonderful to open your eyes when lucid to a new world!

I was not in B street at all. I was in something that looked like it came out of the newer Willy Wonka movie. I was still in my little valley, and it was still kind of dark like before, but past this was a vividly colorful hill, a bright spring green. It was framed by bright red velvet and gold tasseled stage curtains, and it went up in steps to a scene on the tippy top, like a big green staircase. At each "step", red and white candy cane looking swirlie structures decorated the hill. There were yellow and white flowers, too, and maybe a cobblestone walkway. I was, as usual, in awe of the clarity of being here, and just took it all in. I tried rubbing my hands to get more in the moment, but it didn't really bring any texture or more realism to the situation. I usually don't bother with sensation alot anyways. I find constantly rubbing my hands to be distracting, but I do try it from time to time. I saw on the top of a hill, a little scene. Maybe a tree in shadow, with a park bench sitting besides it, and someone lounging in it, like they were sleeping. It was either my sister fainted from being kidnapped, or the bad guy in the plot lounging in a smarmy sort of way. I couldn't see the top immediately, so I focused my eyes (go me for doing more than one focusing technique!), and as I did so I began walking up the hill.

Like a dream does, as I neared the top, the scene transformed. I also got a little more numb the closer to the top of the hill I got, but I was still using my conscious mind just fine. The top of the hill transformed itself into a medieval/fantasy looking church, and waiting inside for me was the villain. The church was completely open from where I walked into it. Inside, it had a lobby sized area for maybe a couple of people or parishioners to sit. It was small by cathedral standards but it also fluctuated in that respect as well. To the left of the "parishioner" area was a rounded room, almost a large alcove. It was completely walled in glass windows that gave a view to a forest outside. In front of the parishioner area was where the priest would usually go. In the dream this section was only a few steps higher than the congregation area, whereas in real life its usually a little taller I think. There was a big rounded stain glass window here like a traditional church, but the exit door to the other side of the church was there too. The right side of the church was just a wall. The entire thing was in light grey stone, with pillars and steps and all the nice things you'd find in an older church. Where the priest's place was stood the villain. It was a taller 20 year old with brown-red hair and pale skin, wearing black. She was a vampire. She kidnapped my sister and was going to feed off of her and turn her into a vampire, too. I am not sure what ended up happening to my sister in this struggle. the brunette vampire was, I think, behind her and sucking on her neck or threatening to. She might have even turned her into a vampire already and I had to fight her off. Whatever the case, my sister was getting in the way of my battling the evil vampiress. Either I had to break her neck and push her into the window alcove, or the vampiress threw her in there after sucking on her blood and she passed out and fell in there. In the dream, as in my favorite show "Vampire Diaries", cracking ones neck didn't kill them immediately. It just sort of knocks someone out.

(I was still SLIGHTLY lucid btw.) I tried to punch at the vamp while she hid behind my sister. My punches connected but they did little to her, and she laughed them off. Once my sister was out of the way, I kept trying to punch her out and stop her from killing her and me. I didn't want to kill the evil vamp I don't think. I wanted to either cure her or just stop her from hurting other people. If there was a way to end it in a peaceful or less definitive way, I was willing to try it. However, my methods were not working, and I decided I had to worry more about my unconscious sister than keeping this woman alive. Now that I think of it, I think my sister was going to turn into a vampire, so it was a race against time to stop the villain before she turned. I think I needed the evil villain's blood to stop the transformation, or killing off the villain stopped it. Since I was so stressed for time, I reach over to the brunette vampire, said "Ah screw it!", and snapped her neck. Instantly she crumpled to the floor, completely defeated.

I ran over to where my sister was laying and helped her up as she came to. Did I give her blood? Not sure. She looked differently at this point, though. What was once my blonde, fancy dressed little sister was a squat little anime chibi dressed in kimono. She had a big bobble head, and her hair was black now. She stood up and was fine.

After that I woke up and happily wrote all this down! Yay!

      Influences:
VAMPIRE STUFF: Definitely Vampire diaries! One of few shows I watch, I guess I was thinking about it that night. I even thought perhaps the bad guy of this show, "Claus", was in my dream!
Stompy stomp stomp above my head!: My landlord's wonderful habit of causing ruckuses every morning. Its why I wear earplugs.
Getting to sleep: I have been OBSESSING with going to bed at a good hour since restarting my Lucid dream mission!

And of course, my dream sign was MY DREAM JOURNAL because of my recent obsession with writing in it. Having it in my hand in the dream made me think of dreaming, so I was able to easily figure things out. Dreaming was on my mind, so it was an easy transition, and my journal was the reminder!

    10. (march 31, 2015) Squirrel hunt

      by , 04-01-2015 at 02:02 AM
Late entry, but better than nothing.

I was outside on a cool spring day, in someones back yard of their house. i was at the edge of their property where there was a chain link fence with some pine trees lining it on either side. the grass was well cut, but not very vividly green. it was later in the evening, the sun was going down, the orange rays of the sun going down across the land. I had a all black pellet gun, and was trying to shoot a squirrel that was on one of the trees. I missed a few shots but got up close an finally got it. it fell quickly. I picked it up and tossed it over the chain link fence. over the fence was an immediate slope down to the road and the squirrel fell in the open, i was worried some one would see and i hoped over to move it down into the bushes.

very short, yet very vivid dream. remembering it feels as thoug i was there 5 mins ago.
    11. Bike Race, Zip Lining, Gas Mask, Meeting Mila, & Breathing Underwater - Mar 20, 2015

In this dream I was riding a ten speed bike in a race through the mountains of Chile. I looked around and thought to myself, “Why am I racing a bike in the mountains of Chile? I can barely ride a bike, how is this happening?” Bingo! Lucid! The first thing I did was race to the front of the pack, and then I left them in a blur, and soon I was passing cars. I forced the bike faster and faster, without any fear whatsoever. There were many crests in the road, and my bike was launching into the air! It was fun, and totally unrealistic, but just the same, it was fun! In the distance I saw the finish line approaching, so flew with my bike through the air (like ET on nitrous) and under the finish ribbon, sliding sideways to a stop. A teenage girl walked past me with ‘real’ looking eyes, so I gave her a hug thinking she was maybe my daughter. She got pissed off at me and she pushed me away (nope, not my daughter). I said to her, “I just wanted a hug.” Then I turned to the crowd at the finish line and asked them if anybody has seen my daughter. A group of girls heard me and they all looked very interested in what I said, but then I woke.

In this second dream I was lucid, but I can’t remember how or why I became lucid. I was standing on a balcony, high up on a building, which was alongside a fairly narrow river. The fellow beside me shot a zip line across the river and into the brick wall of a boardwalk. The line went down at a very steep angle, and was it was totally unsafe, but whatever, this is a dream! I quickly latched my Kingsnap onto the zip line, and I went shooting down towards the boardwalk at a very high speed. I heard somebody say, “Look at that, that’s totally nuts!” At about 20 yards from the boardwalks’ brick wall, I disconnected my Kingsnap and went sailing feet first into the river. Splash! The water was perfectly blue, and I couldn’t see the bottom. I then started to breathe comfortably under the water as I swam for the surface. I swam and swam, but I couldn’t find it, and soon after I woke.

In this 3rd lucid dream I was climbing a ladder up the side of a building, and there was one guy above me and one below. Suddenly, and quite unexpectedly I farted! I looked at the guy below me and said, “Oops, did I fart?”, and then a World War II gas mask appeared on his face! This was a fragmented lucid dream, so I don’t remember what happened next.

In this 4th dream, I was lying beside my bed talking to a woman, when I became spontaneously lucid. I thought the woman looked like my wife’s cousin Kim. My bedroom was dark, but she was glowing slightly white. I said, “Kim, is that you?” She replied, “Yes”, so I floated up off the ground so I was face to face with her. She wasn’t Kim. I said, “Who are you?” By this point she looked a bit frightened and she started to float up towards the ceiling, so I stayed right face to face with her and followed. She then started to pass through the ceiling, and I said, “No wait, please stay!” She vanished, and I woke. A couple of days later, on Mar 24, I had a lucid dream with my daughter, and I met this woman again. Her name is Mila.

In this 5th dream, I was lucid at a swimming pool (not sure why). I looked over the edge of the pool and saw a bunch of kids sitting on the bottom, so I dove in to join them. I sat down beside them and I was breathing normally. They were all just hanging out down there, and chatting with each other. I got bored, so I started to swim around the pool, and I then I woke again.
