task of the month dreams
It's been awhile since I've had a lucid, but I broke my dryspell last night! It's been awhile since I've even had decent recall of my dreams. I recently got a job and I absolutely hate it with all my heart(I'm a cleaning bitch at a Chinese restaurant). It's put a lot of stress on my back and ever since I've had this job my recall has just taken a vacation pretty much. However over the past couple of days things have gotten better and I've recalled a few minor details from my details. Last night was a huge step for me. I recalled the full length of the dream, from my non-lucid beginning all the way until I woke up at an undisclosed time after attempting a TOTM. I don't know if I completed the task, but I'll leave that judgment up to OpheliaBlue I guess. Anyway...without further adeui I present my dream: I dream I'm hanging out around the backyard of my old house. Me and all of my best friends are having some sort of party, and everybody is having a great time. We're all spread out around the front yard, back yard and inside of the house having a great time. However there was a really strange difference about my backyard...there was a large baseball field in the back hard. Not like a MLB stadium, but like a field you'd see at a middle school or something. I can't recall if there was a game or not, but I think there was. Anyway, I was hanging out behind the fence placed behind home plate with my friends. Things suddenly took an interesting and somewhat comedic turn. My friend Logan and Frankie were standing by one another, and Logan began to approach her. "Hey Frankie." Logan began. "Uh, hey Logan." Frankie acknowledged. Logan then started to tense up and become very nervous. Frankie looked at him with her eyebrow raised. "You know how I broke up with Mia awhile ago right?" he asked. "Uh...yeah...why?" Frankie answered. "Well I was just...uh wondering...because I'm single now and all..." Logan takes a slight pause as he begins to shed tears. "I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime?" Frankie now looked utterly shocked and somewhat weirded out at the same time. Logan was an emotional wreck now as tears began streaming down his face. Me and a couple other friends quickly began to walk away and leave the premises of this very awkward situation. All I can remember is seeing Frankie's very distraught face as she dealt with the very complicated situation. So as we left, my friends and I began walking down the street towards the intersection. I started thinking about things for a minute, and I then realized that I was dreaming, and became lucid. I immediately turned to my friends and informed them. "Guys, you know this is a dream right?" I said. "What're you talking about?" one of them asked. "Here look, I'll show you," I replied. "You see I can't get hurt in a dream." I then ran into the street and jumped in front of a car going about 25mph, and I was hit and thrown several feet away. I got up, completely unharmed and walked back to them, but they didn't seem to care too much. So they kept walking along, and I decided to try doing a RC just to be safe. I plugged my nose, and I was able to breathe through it. Then I looked at the fronts and backs of my hands, and my right hand had seven fingers. I freaked out for half of a second and flailed my hand around. I thought for a second of what to do, and I quickly remembered to try and do the task of the month. I was obviously obligated to try out my own task that was out in this month, and so it was my goal now to try and hold up a bank with a banana. I ascended into the air, and so did my friend Connor, which was really weird. I then flew across town to where I knew there was a bank in real life. I did find one, but the city looked much bigger and much more urban than it really is. I saw a Key Bank insignia in the distance, and I flew down to the entrance. I landed and made my way to the door. As I did so, I spawned a banana in my right hand, and I then hid it in my inner pocket of my jacket. I entered the bank, and I looked around. There was a bank vault to my far left, a cash register next to it, and a lot of people sitting down and eating meals. What the hell? Okay so I guess this place is a bank/restaurant. I decided to disregard how unorthodox that was, and I pulled out my banana. I looked across the room and saw my friend Michael and his girlfriend Kaitlyn eating in a booth, and our friend Fred was being a third wheel. Oh this was about to get really interesting. "Alright everyone listen up!" I shouted. "This is a robbery! Everyone get down on the ground now, and don't try anything and no one will get hurt!" People began panicking and they all got down on the floor as I instructed. I was surprised they listened when I only had a banana as a weapon. I now took my banana and walked down to the cash register and vault, and I noticed some people were trying to get up. "Hey! I said don't get up or I'll kill you!" I shouted. No one was listening, and I repeated myself a couple more times. "I SAID STAY ON THE GROUND OR I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU! COME ON I ONLY SAID IT LIKE FOUR FUCKING TIMES!!!" I screamed. To that, everybody complied and stayed on the ground. I pointed the banana at the girl at the register and told her the usual deal, and she began removing money. Suddenly, I felt my banana be pulled out of my hand. I turned around to see Fred holding the banana, and he then began to peel it. At the same time, Michael came and tried to attack me, but I knocked him over. God damn it all, now I've gotta handle my own friends. I didn't want this to happen. His girlfriend tried to help but I pushed her back and tried to think of what to do with Michael. So, I grabbed a hot dog from the nearest table and shoved it in Michael's mouth and forced him to choke on it. I then turned and saw Fred eating the banana, and I got pissed. I lunged at him and brought him to the floor. I took the rest of the banana and forced it down his throat so he would choke on that. I got up and returned to the register, where several thousand dollars were resting on the stand, and I prepared to take it all. Suddenly, Fred got up and smiled at me. He then pulled some sort of fucking God power voodoo magic shit and everything changed. I saw Fred standing in front of me smiling from ear to ear, and everyone in the room was calm. I saw the money was still on the desk, and I put my hand on it. Fred made me stop, and he made me look around the room. Around the room everyone was holding assault rifles, and I noticed I had one strapped to me too. I may have had one myself, but I was severely outgunned right now. Knowing I had been defeated, I immediately left the bank/restaurant and started walking down the concrete path. I saw more of my friends and other random DCs down a large staircase, and I became curious. I held my rifle, a SCAR-H, and I fired off a few shots. One hit my friend in the knee on accident, but he wasn't bleeding. I quickly realized it was only an airsoft gun...I had definitely been fooled back there. Holy shit. I don't quite recall what happened after that, but I don't think I did much more before I awoke.
Ritual: Went to bed at 2am, much later than I had intended. Wanted to wake up between 4-4:30 if possible so I could make a sandwich for my husband to take on his flight. Didn't set alarm, only intention; if it didn't work, that was fine. Woke up promptly at four so got up and went to the kitchen. Then I realized if I didn't stay up to give him the sandwich he would never know it existed, so in the end I didn't go back to bed until after he left at 5. I repeated my tasks aloud a few times to make them easier to remember, using simple keywords: "eyeball, calcifer, fairy tale." Wanted to give SSILD another fair shake after recent lack of success—been falling asleep too easily. After this hour-long WBTB I arranged a ramp of pillows to elevate my upper body and settled back to do SSILD, supposing that the half-reclining would help inhibit sleep. It did—and I realized I had been semi-dozing rather than really sleeping when I got up again at 5:40 and decided to dismantle the pillow-ramp to get some proper sleep. I didn't notice REM during any of these sleep and half-sleep periods so I wasn't optimistic, but I did a couple SSILD cycles on my side before drifting off to sleep fairly quickly. It was 6:30am when I woke up for real (after FA) and began this account. FA: "....it ignored me, and I felt silly talking to a fire." Okay, guess now I have to start over. Wrote half of the account up in FA. Which is funny, because when I woke up I did sense that I could probably re-enter the dream state but decided not to because I wanted to write a solid report on what I'd done so far. And here I had felt so responsible and industrious! I wrote down quite a bit but only remember the last line word for word, so I reproduced it above. It's interesting that it is worded in the past tense. My dream reports often swap randomly between past and present tense but the present tense predominates. DILD: I was in my bedroom in the half-light of early morning, and I heard voices outside the room. This confused me, because no one else should be home right now. One of them sounded like my brother, but he shouldn't be here. And I could hear another voice, a man's voice I didn't recognize. I grabbed my phone from the nightstand, thinking I'd dial in "9-1-1" and have the call ready to go if needed before I investigated further, in case it was burglars or something. The phone wasn't working. It seems to be stuck on the calendar app, and even this is in some weird and confusing format. I keep pressing the main button to try to get back to the home screen so I can reach the page to dial from, but nothing helps. I still hear the voices and worry that the intruders might come into the room before I can get the phone working and then I'll have no recourse. Should I go outside to the back patio, so it will be easier to run away if necessary? At some point the absurdity of the whole scenario finally strikes me and I wonder if I'm dreaming. Since no one is around to see, I do a quick nose pinch. I can breathe easily. So I am dreaming! Oh good, there were tasks I needed to get done! I realize that since this was a DILD, I'm probably already fairly well-integrated into the dream state and check my impressions. A bit of roughness as I begin to move but not too bad, and the dream feels stable. I don't feel the need for further stabilization as long as I can avoid letting the paranoia of waking wake me up, so I put it out of mind and walk rapidly to the kitchen. I've brought my phone and figure it might come in handy at some point later on, so I try to slide it into the pocket of my skirt. Trouble is, I'm not wearing a skirt. I make the "sliding into pocket" gesture a few times, intending a long skirt with pockets to manifest, but it doesn't and the phone falls to the floor. Whatever. At least the pattern is in place, so I feel confident that I can get it out of my pocket later if I need it. I grab the bread from the kitchen counter, noting that it is a packet of round pita bread rather than the sandwich loaf that is there in waking life, and head out to the patio. Which task first? I love the idea of Howl's Moving Castle so I decide to start with that one. First I try to summon the castle directly, not through any special method, just willing it to approach on its own legs. It doesn't appear promptly, so I start with plan B: conjure a fire, call it "Calcifer," and feed it until it becomes strong enough to build the castle from the ground up. The first part should be easy; I've practiced conjuring fire before in this very spot. So I hold out my right hand and concentrate on creating a flame in my open palm. There's just one problem. It is raining, quite heavily actually. Typical dream perversity! I'm trying to fill my palm with fire, but meanwhile it is filling up with water. I ignore the dream's little joke, and keep concentrating on the fire. Sure enough, I shortly begin to feel the heat and see the brightness of the flame. I set it on the ground and start feeding it chunks of pita bread, calling it "Calcifer" and trying to coax it to respond. It grows larger at first, but doesn't show any sentience, and now the rain is causing it to dwindle despite my attempts to feed it. I decide to continue this experiment indoors, out of the rain. I pick up the fire, just carrying it in my hands, go inside and set it down again on a flat stone ledge, about two and half feet in width and height (the interior of the house no longer corresponds in any way to RL). I feed the fire and continue calling it "Calcifer" to try to get a response, but it ignores me, and I feel silly talking to a fire. I go outside, careful to take the fire out again with me so as not to leave it untended in the house, and fly up in the air before releasing it. I instruct it to go seek out Howl's Castle, hoping that it might reappear at some point later point in the dream. I return to the ground, once again in a place recognizably like my back patio, though it is no longer raining. What next? I realize the eyeball task should be quick and easy, if I can stomach it, so I ought to knock that one out of the way. I consider going inside the house to use a real mirror, but I don't want to waste time so I stand outside the sliding glass door to the kitchen and rely on the faint reflection of myself I can see there. There is nothing unusual about my reflection—much less so than usual, actually. When thinking about this task in waking life I had decided (for the sake of safety and squeamishness) to try to remove the eyeball in a more hands-off way, simply raising my palm and trying to pop it out through will alone, but now that I'm ready to go I don't even remember that idea. Instead I lift my right hand to my right eye and just start digging in there. I feel a momentary discomfort, enough to make me think, "I'd better be damn sure I'm dreaming!" before I feel the fingers slide smoothly into the socket with little pain, and this reassures me. The eye pops out easily, but it is attached to a surprisingly thick, gross, fleshy stalk. Even at the time I realize that my experience has probably been colored by other accounts of this task I've already read on the DV thread, some of which mention similar stalks. The stalk is inconvenient and ugly so I keep pulling until the eyeball breaks free, then turn it around to inspect it. It looks remarkably like an eyeball. I had been hoping that it would transform into something cool, like an orb of glass or even a jewel. But nope. It is a disturbingly life-like eyeball, with a distinct iris and pupil and even a bit of red tattered membrane where the stalk had been attached. When I aim the iris and pupil toward me, they already look dead and unseeing, so it doesn't occur to me to try to use this eyeball to see with. Also, although I don't take note of this at the time, in retrospect I can report that there was no subjective change in my experience of vision; I was still "seeing" as though with two intact eyes. I had meant to look at my reflection again after pulling the eye out, but I forget to do so. Instead I'm absorbed in inspecting this very ordinary-looking eyeball and trying to find any notable details to report. I do observe that the iris seems to have changed color: from the initial blue it has faded to a drab brown. It is still kind of creepy to be holding my eyeball, so without experimenting further I pop it back in. Luckily no difficulties there, and only then do I remember to check my reflection. I look normal and still don't notice any changes to my vision. I feel a momentary regret that I didn't remember to try to transform the eyeball into something else before putting it back in, but I feel reasonably satisfied with the task so I'm ready to move on. Now I'm down to the last of the three tasks I'd planned, and I feel a bit apprehensive. In one way or another, this damned Hansel and Gretel idea has been eluding me. But I still have my bag of pita bread, so I get started: my plan is to start dropping breadcrumbs as I walk, hopefully find myself in a forest, and see what happens from there. I re-read the story a few weeks ago in my copy of Brothers Grimm, but I haven't tried to flesh out the intended scenario because I want to give the dream leeway to respond creatively to my breadcrumb trail. So I start walking across the patio and dropping crumbs, and now I just have to figure out which way to go. My original plan had been to start on the street in front of the house, which had once transformed into an ideal forest in a previous unrelated dream, but now I'm behind the house and want to get started right away rather than have my plans potentially disrupted by a detour. It's okay, I'd planned for this too. I figured the hill behind the house might be wild enough that I could start climbing it and work it into a suitable forest. However, now when I look in that direction, I see a paved concrete footpath that leads between suburban houses with neatly trimmed lawns. Dream is being perverse again. In the opposite direction is a second path, smaller, with a similar suburban aspect. Which one will lead me sooner to a forest? Both look completely domesticated. I figure I'll just start with the first one and try thinking "forest" as I go. I start off, dropping my bread crumbs, but with no warning I wake up—or out of the dream, at least. As mentioned above, I sensed that I could re-enter the dream state but decided to write my report instead, was under the impression that I had gotten up, and wrote for quite a while before waking up for real.

Grossssssssssssssssssssssssssssss....... :hurl: Ok here's what happened: I remember being in the car with my real dad, driving down the highway. It suddenly dawned on me that I shouldn't be in California, so I bet I'm dreaming. I had just enough doubt about it though, and didn't want to just open the car door. Plus even lucid accidents can hurt. So I tried to be subtle by just poking my finger through the roof of the car, and it went through as if it were made of jello. YES! My dad glanced over at me with a "wtf?!" look on his face. I said "No time to explain! I gotta take out my eyeball real quick." I took 3 fingers from my right hand, and curved them into a sort of scoop, then stuck them in the inner corner of my right eye. It felt loose and ready to easily scoop out. So I scooped it out, but it acted like it had some pressure built up behind it, like it's been meaning to come out for a while (which it HAS.. been attempting this task for a while). So when it came out, about a foot of optic nerve and optic muscles kinda hurled out with it, with my eyeball still attached. My dad and I both screamed "Ew GROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!" and I got a flinch of panic. "What if I can't put my eyeball back in and can't wake myself up, and have to go through this whole dream with a gross dangling eyeball?" Because let's face it, it felt real, and I was no blind in that eye. So I oh so carefully shoved the whole mess back into my eyesocket, all the while telling myself "It'll be ok, it's going in fine, no problem." It went back in fine, and I blinked a couple times and could see again. My dad was looking at me peripherally with a mixed expression of disbelief and disgust. Then I just lost it. I bent forward and howled with laughter. I mean, it was a deep, jolly LOUD laugh at all the ridiculousness that just happened, and then I woke up.
Last night felt distinctly lucid twice only to lose the dream upon reentry. In the first, I am in a bedroom, and having a discussion on lucid dreaming (while lucid). In hypnopomia, I even review the dream so as not to lose it (if I had had my shit together, I would have simply awoken and recorded the dream). Once fully awake, the dream memory vaporizes in front of me, more or less. Probably one of the first two dreams of the night, which historically are not great moments for dream recall for me. However, I think I have been lazy with recall per se, as I have been experiencing lots of day residue and "garbage" dreams that I have neglected to record in any great detail. Maybe this is the impetus I need to get back into recording my dreams in detail. Second dream: I am lucid and attempting to complete the tasks of the month, but don't remember scenery or whether or not I succeed at any of the tasks, or indeed even remember them correctly. Gab has developed software to assist dreamers while they are still dreaming, and to publish their attempts at the TotM. She publishes mine (in a tiny newspaper), describing my attempt. The dream drifts into asemi-lucid where I am running a foot race through an apartment complex (maybe my old digs) with a WL friend. He is extremely fast, and while I am able to manipulate the dream to make myself faster than I normally am, he is still beating me. We are running at night alongside a chainlink fence, and there are several hairpin turns in the grass. I epicly jump over the fence and into some undergrowth, but am still daunted by how fast my opponent is. I attribute this in dream to his long legs. Finally, I am able to use some of my minions (apparently I had minions) to help me cheat. One of them grabs my WL friend through the fence while I am able to take off and finish the race. However, my awareness stays with my friend and is in fact shifted into that of my minion. At the moment when I feel I must release him (as he's fighting me the whole time) another minion grabs him, my awareness shifts into that minion, and then I turn mine and his hands into stone (I am grabbing him by the wrists). During all of this I more or less feel that I am dreaming, but just don't "get" it. I tried a different method of MILD than what I am used to, and think I will continue the experiment tonight. I will keep you all updated

This happened between my last 5 minute snooze on my alarm clock (9:55am to 10am) I was in my bedroom, and I wanted to get some air flowing inside the room since it was really stuffy. I cracked my window open, but snow from outside started rushing in. This was a problem. If I left the windows closed, it was going to get hot in here. But if I left them open, my carpet was going to get wet. I settled on an illogical intermediate of cracking the window open no more than a couple millimeters. I went downstairs and started talking to my mother. She said that there was supposed to be some really bad storms today. I drank something, and went back upstairs. This time, I was in my bedroom at school. I sat down on the bed, and noticed that it was getting really dark outside. It was only morning, but it was almost as dark as night time outside. I decided it was time to turn on the light. I walked over to the light switch to flip it on, but nothing happened. I wondered if the storm had caused us to lose power. Yet, lights never work when I am dreaming, so I did a reality check - dreaming. I had some things that I had been wanted to do, but right now I was drawing a total blank. I remembered the Task of the Month - gauge your eyeballs out. I did one last reality check to absolutely confirm that I was dreaming before I did this. I stuck my fingers into my eye sockets and felt around. First of all - yuck. Second, OUCH. IT HURT. Like, really fucking bad. Despite the pain, I kept going but I couldn't see shit. Well, I saw the color red. Maybe that was supposed to be blood. So in the process of gauging out my eyeballs, I blinded myself. Great. I stuck my eyeballs back in and thought about what I wanted to do next. I thought about doing another task of the month, but I couldn't remember any of the other ones. I remembered the elevator one from last month, but then remembered that I had promised my wolf pack that I would shapeshift and help find a good place for us. I jumped out the window and was instantly in the middle of an absolutely beautiful field. There were yellow flowers growing in the field and an old farm house at the very end. To the left was a flowing stream and there were lambs nearby, too. I shapeshifted into a wolf and started running across the field. I've never shapeshifted into a wolf before, so this was a new experience for me. I could feel that my back legs were significantly more powerful than my front legs. It took a minute, but then I realized how to coordinate them to run powerfully like a wolf. This was really a beautiful place! But the lambs were very distracting. And tasty looking. I decided that it was time for the hunt. I began to stalk my prey, slowly inching closer. When I was at a reasonable distance, I leaped forward and sunk my teeth into the lamb...at which point my alarm clock went off.
It was a third-person viewing of a guy with some kind of silver medallion exploring these Stonehenge-like ruins for something like the Key to Lucidity I think. There was a compass which pointed in different directions depending on where in the ruin you were. I was sitting with my siblings in a room and became lucid. I decided to make the lucid last and for a while just sit on the floor in a meditative position and just be aware and be lucid. So I did. My mum came in with a basket of laundry and started talking a lot about nothing much, as she always does, and I just imagined her lips shutting to make her shut up. It didn't seem to be working very well, but then she turned to me and asked, "Are you trying to shut me up?" I nodded. She smiled and walked away. I sat on the floor another half a minute or so, just contemplating the dream and lucidity. Then I decided I would go have sex, so I got up and went outside to give into my dream libido. Just then, the dream ended. I woke up. "Crap, the Tasks of the Month!" I thought, and went back to sleep. I appeared in my room, it was dark. I was unsure first whether it was a dream, in fact I thought it wasn't, but the self-awareness I had been doing all day suggested otherwise when I felt it in the dream. The cupboards were open for some reason, so I tried to telekinetically close a window by forcing it shut with my will, which didn't work. Then I tried a much lighter approach, just waving my hand while having the intention in my mind of the window closing, and it worked a dream (pun intended). I then did the same with all the cupboards, and opened the door onto the corridor in the same way. I went into the living room and because it was night time, I quickly pushed the Moon out of the way and pushed the Sun up. The Sun was small and square like in Minecraft, but it provided enough light for it to feel like a warm summer's sunny day. Once this was done, I went outside, paying attention to my surroundings and stabilizing the dream as I went. Some people walked past my house; I remembered the foreign word basic task of the month and I started running towards them shouting, "Hey! Hey you!" they turned around and walked up to the gate to my garden. "Give me a word in a foreign language!", I said, hoping I'd remember once they did, and hoping they won't turn out to be unhelpful DC's.They were what looked like a group of students - I think there were four, a girl, two guys of average height and one tall guy, standing at the back. The tall guy spoke in a friendly tone: "Rystkievin". At least I'm pretty sure it was Rystkievin, I made an effort to remember it. I repeated it to be sure, and he did also, nodding. The "vin" part was pronounced in the French way of pronouncing "vin". "What does it mean?", I asked. "Everyone has a right to fair play.", he said. A DC that actually talked sense. Wow. I can actually imagine how there would be a foreign word or expression to mean that kind of thing. I thanked the DC's and they walked away. Then I remembered the other task - rob a bank with a banana! I exited the gate and went left, and neighbouring my house was some kind of building with a couple of shops in it and some kind of Starbucks drive-thru or something. I had tried to incubate a bank to be built there in my mental map before I went to sleep, but I half-assed it so all that appeared was this building. I wasn't sure if there was a bank in there. Oh well, I wasn't going to be defeated. I noticed this one particular room of the building, accessible from a little outdoor corridor which was drilled into the building, in which there were heaps and stacks of banknotes. The room was shut behind a metal fence door, but I didn't have much of a problem opening it. It was a bank vault. As soon as I went in, alarms went off but I also noticed I had accomplices with me. About three other guys, all in masks and holding machine guns. I also had a machine gun, but it was a Lego one and I could only pretend to shoot from it, although it seemed that it could kill people just fine. There was a little table in the middle with heaps of "50" banknotes on it, and one of my accomplices pocketed most of the money. I said I'd take the remainder just in case we got split up and stuffed the notes into my pocket. At that point, some people at the door started shooting at us and we started shooting back. We killed all but about one, who had one of our guys as a hostage with a gun to his head. My guys put their hands up; I hid behind the table. Then the guy said there was another guy hidden in the ventilation shaft, a sniper ready to kill us, and he let go of our guy. At this point I stood up from cover and pretend shot a few rounds into the ventilation shaft on the wall, my men shot the last guy. We got out of there with the money and all split up. Then I was walking down the street and wanted to summon my girlfriend for a bit of fun, pleased that I had completed the TotM. She didn't appear however, and I woke up. "Rob a bank with a BANANA" I thought, annoyed at myself that I had used machine guns. I fell asleep again, desperate to rectify my mistake. My family and I were eating strawberries with cream in my room. There's nothing really unusual about that. But then my self-awareness kicked in; I suddenly questioned the reality I was in. But it all seemed so real. I was questioning my reality but didn't believe it to be a dream - then I did the nose pinch reality check. Sure enough, I could breathe. I couldn't believe it! It took me completely by surprise. I immediately went outside my house, repeating arithmetic calculations in my head all the while to make sure I keep my logic active in the dream and stay lucid. I also paid attention to my surroundings, stabilizing the dream. I went out of the gate to my house and turned left again, and came upon the same building again. "Rob the bank with a BANANA", I thought, and looked around. Behind me there was what looked like a massive inflatable banana lying on the floor. I grabbed it with my right hand and made a magical gesture with my left, shrinking the banana to normal size and properties - it now looked exactly like a regular banana, only I didn't think to taste it. I went into the building and went behind this counter. Behind the cashier's place I could see the entrance to the bank vault - it was like I was looking at a mini bank of some sort. There was no cashier. Wielding the banana, I went up to the till (which was conveniently left wide open) and pocketed a handful of notes, so technically I did steal from a bank, even though I didn't rob the vault. I turned and saw my dad, who was holding some kind of keyring thing with a button on it. He pressed it. "Now we will see if they respond. You better not have stolen that money." I pushed past him and ran out of the door. Alarms went off. He started talking about how I will never amount to much and how the best thing I ever did was join a church choir and how at that point he thought I was going to grow up into a good person but I disappointed him. Amused, but wanting to run away from the police, I went left out of the door and sprinted into the bushes. I ran through a wooded bit and came out onto an asphalt road - there was a black audi coming down it. It occurred to me that it was an unmarked police car, but I kept running. They turned on their lights and sirens and drove down the road in my direction. They stopped about 5 metres away from me. "Stay the f**k away, I have a f***ing banana!", I screamed, and I held up my banana. The policemen looked terrified. "S**t, another psycho bank robber!" shouted one of them. I turned around and kept running through a little grassy square. The dream dissolved around me and I woke up, at 6:50am, having had three lucid dreams and being unable to go back to sleep because I managed to complete two TotMs and had three lucids before it was even anywhere close to my usual wake up time.
Date: 08 Aug Pre bed: 1/2 cup soy milk, 350 mg arginine (combo) Wbtb: 1/2 latte, felt discomfort due heat which made it harder to concentrate. I tried doing 1-2 ssild cycles to relax, but mostly gave up due discomfort. WILD: First was a transitional stage of me in bed and my body rotating, as I was trying to figure out which hands I'm moving. Kind of blurry memory here. This later switches to another scene in parents' old bedroom where I appear feeling rather floaty and unstablish. In front of me are wooden shelves, so I run my hands on the surfaces multiple times to anchor myself. At the same time a glass case catches my attention, where I can see my reflection - averagely normal with something weird lurking behind. As I turn around to see what it is I am faced by my own doppelgänger and she is somewhat aggressive. She throws herself on the ground initially in some sort of a unexplainable act. Then approaches menacingly but I put her on hold - at an arm's distance with my mind. As I manage my own reactions she calms down and now I decide to look at her more closely and make some manipulations. What if I were taller and she is now much taller. I examine her with curiousity but still have a bit of an after feel of aggression so decide to make sure she is harmless. I give the overly tall DC a hug around the waist and watch as she changes features to a different DC. Then, I see the door behind her and feel like doing some tking. I look at it in order to will it open but the dream slips away. Back to my body and still for a DEILD DEILD: I appear on the balcony, the one that looks over to neighbors. Quite excited about being here as this brings memories of past non-lds. There is a guy that pushes me ahead (as to move further, him being quite active) as I examine the neighbors' balcony. The dream is rather unstable at this point but I'm glad to have a companion and cross over to the other balcony where there is some sort of mattress, thinking both of us can sit here for a bit and plan the dream. Forgot the exact words now, but told him something like "let's talk about adventures" or so and was waiting for him to sit. He disappears in the kitchen (neighbors) but then is back again, wearing the same red t-shirt as I make a mental note (resembles somewhat Michael Cassidy). My voice is barely coming out as I say the adventure sentence and I wonder if it would count if I ask him about the basic task telepathically. But how is he going to answer? Too complicated and I decide to go with normal speech, struggle to speak but finally ask him. His reply is "Woof" which sounds as if he is barking. Me: "Woof?", are you sure? He: Uhum. (as in yes) Me: Ok, then. So what does that mean? He: Hoof. I ask for confirmation and he gives me another uhum. Oh well. The dream soon falls apart. I'm not feeling quite in shape to deild so let it go at this point and after a brief ld review go to sleep. Non-memorable dreams, something vivid that forgot and then. LD: I am near this familiar building. Something clicks and I recognize this as place of older dreams. There was a false memory or thought about the place too. I get inside and decide to experiment with door summons to see where they lead. I open a door - there are two DCs coming out of something that looks like a sparsely furnished bathroom. I don't quite like it, so close the door and wait a bit till it changes to try again. In the meantime, more DCs appear around me and one of them makes aggressive moves towards me. After an initial super strength outburst, which comes out like some sort of a force push, I decide to chill out and try to calm them down while taking a moment to examine my inner state. I'm still slightly apprehensive of them, so try to control my own reactions and feel more at ease. From the tense situation I work on my indifference, relaxing more and at some point I start walking around freely and making funny zen moves (but not the Xanous move alas!). Don't remember when but at some point the dream ends. Lucid FA: I wake up at home, the room looking very realistic and bf is walking around. I decide to play a bit stupid and ask him if I'm dreaming couple of times as if I've lost my mind and can't tell that this is reality. He reacts almost normally but I am still unconvinced. There's something in his reaction that is a bit off. "Hey, am I dreaming?", I continue shouting as he vanishes behind the corner. A female DC with a dark red cardigan comes in and then there is no more doubt. I feel a bit euphoric about being able to catch this fa as it felt like quite the thing I would have missed. Contrary to other times when I have entered the other room, it now turns to a different place altogether. At first I don't catch the clues, but after more examination of the classical wooden furniture, it clicks how this place can indeed be the interior of Howl's castle. Without any intention from my side, I notice that there is a fireplace to the side and the fire is as real as it gets. It dawns on me after seeing it that it is calficer. I approach the dream fire with astonishment for it is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. It's not just a regular fire - there is so much light in it, it shines like a little star, while at the same time being surrounded by flames. I feel almost mesmerized by the sight of it and am so happy to have it in the dream. Spontaneously, I place my hands around the fire and try to absorb some of its heat and energy. As my hands get closer to the little fire, there is slight tension as in heat related sensation but insignificant to dwell on. In the meantime, the fire gets smaller and smaller as if this process is really draining it. I don't want to do away with it altogether so stop whatever it is I'm doing. The thought crosses my mind that I have spent way too long playing around and risk not completing the task because of that. I face the room and see that the girl is here again. Now she has a pony tail, blue top and and slightly disturbing facial hair. As I approach her, her face clears a bit and I ask her couple of times if she is Sophie, to which she replies yes. Perfect, now all I need is a door. There's a small door on the wall that I open, but it turns more into a small window, plus I need to turn the color dial wheel first. I face the other wall where there is a white door and look to see if there is a dial next to it - there isn't. I recall couple of techniques I thought of using in such case, but instinctively pick another one. Bf's DC is just nearby so I ask him to hand me a dial wheel to put next to the door. He gives me a round knob-like white object that I place next to the door, cover with my hands and start spinning, until the second layer of it starts to reveal multiple colors. Initially it stops on blue, then it moves to orange. I feel like I want to pick a particular color but am not quite sure which one. I rotate it to yellow, remarking to myself this is taking way too much time. Curious whether the outside will be the same as what can be seen through the nearby window (garden), I think it's high time to stop messing with the wheel dial and open the door. But it's too late - the dream abruptly ends and I find myself in bed, moving my hand and feels like I've lost the opportunity to go back and complete the task.

After my WBTB it took me a little while to get back to sleep. 1. First dream I remember at all I was walking in a neighborhood that I lived in when I was growing up. I missed the street I lived on but realized I was dreaming and woke up pretty much at the same time. 2. I was with my wife, dad and step-mother. My wife was talking to them about my lucid dreaming (she still thinks its weird). She was saying how it was a little strange and we were all standing around this box. The box had a little lizard head poking out of it. My wife is deathly afraid of lizards and could hardly bare to watch. As I was concentrating on the box the lizard head got bigger and bigger. After a little bit the lizard came out of the box but was some kind of large, lizard/caterpillar/mouse hybrid. It had the head of a lizard and at least 6 to 8 legs and walked like a mammal and a kind of mouse tail. It ran up my arm and I experienced dream pain. It didn't hurt just felt like pressure I guess is the best way to describe it. It wrapped itself around my lower arm and my skin kind of absorbed it and it vanished. This made me do a RC and I did a very thorough one since I wanted to be SURE I was dreaming. I sure enough counted 6 or 7 fingers on one hand. LUCID: I though of the foreign language task but then decided to do eyeball task. I turned toward my dad and put my fingers around my right eye ball. He immediately began to back away disturbed at the sight. I really focused on this and in my right eye I could see like white light shooting around blackness, kind of like when you push on your eye a bit in waking life. I was trying to get my fingers in deep enough to reach the back of my eye ball to pull it out. I didn't seem to be getting deep enough to get leverage to pull it out and began to get frustrated. The frustration caused me to wake up. 3. This one was very long and vivid. I was with my daughter and I took her to work. I was going to be gone for several months and I talked to my wife who asked when she would be coming home, I told her I wasn't sure. I didn't even know how I was going to get her home really. I was supposed to make sure some training was going on but I had to find where the classroom was. I was a long way from the class room and took a few wrong turns to get there. I found an elevator and went up in it (of course I never got in one last month at all), when I got to the top I realized I went one or two floors higher than I was supposed to so I took the stairs down. I think my daughter was still with me at this point but not a large factor in the story at this point. I went down flight of stairs and tried to go into a door. Someone was working on the other side of the door and I couldn't go through. I said this was find and went down another set of stairs. I ended up giving up on this and wound up back in my room with my daughter (still at work). I put her down for a nap and went to get some food from the cafeteria. I ran into another guy I used to work with and he had his family with him. It had seemed like I was gone for a long time and I remembered that if my daughter woke up and I wasn't there she would be very upset. I got back to the room quickly and I could hear her crying. I got her from the room and took her out to the living room area where there were a bunch of toys. Somehow the room I was in transitioned to the cab of a truck that I was driving down the road. I was more riding in the truck and not driving, there were a bunch of pillows and toys spread all over (like a living room almost). I saw a policeman coming down the road and I was worried that he would see that her seat-belt wasn't on. I had her sit and we pretended to be buckled in. The cop car passed us and I realized in front of us that there was a sideways car that we were approaching quickly, I sat in the drivers seat and pulled into the dirt median next to us to avoid the sideways car. As I began passing the sideways car I realized it was still moving down the road and I wasn't passing it but staying even. The dirt was hard to drive on and I began to lose control, the sideways car straightened up and I pulled back over to the road. I did a RC and became LUCID: I looked out the car window and thought of jumping out and the traffic and my daughter, I convinced myself again this was a dream and hopped out of the window while the truck was cruising down the road. I landed right on my feet and was facing oncoming traffic. There was a truck coming right at me and as it approached I barely kicked the bumper and it flew backwards onto the car behind it. I was pretty proud I was able to do this with ease. I then thought of the word in another language task and looked for someone. Behind me a bus was pulled over and a girl was coming out of it. She had long dark hair and I ran up to her and asked her to tell me a foreign word, I wasn't sure if this sentence came out clearly (I thought I might have slurred it), but she understood me. I cant remember the exact word but it started with F and had some Rs in it, something like Farrer or Fourier, it sounded very foreign when she said it. As soon as she said it she was walking away and I followed. I repeated the word and she said 'yes', I then ask her what it meant (still following) and lost the dream. So close!!
I started out nonlucid, and I don't remember what I was doing before all this started: I was walking down some sidewalk in some neighborhood on a really sunny day, when something breezed past me on a bicycle. I looked to my left, and saw him turn to look at me briefly and smile before continuing on. He had to be like 8 feet tall, and gorgeous. Oh hell yeah. I started after him, but lost him. He zipped around the corner. I didn't see this part, but he got off his bike and started walking down the street. Only now instead of 8 feet, he was over 50 feet tall. And resembled a cartoon Homer Simpson. His feet thudded as he walked down the block, parallel to the one I was walking down. He didn't seem to notice me, but he morphed into a couple different gigantic forms before settling on a 50 foot naked black woman, stomping around this one house. I was suddenly filled with this urge to fly up and smack her on her shiny brown butt cheeks lol. As I flew upward, I realized I was dreaming! I immediately landed and remembered the task about asking a DC to tell me a word in a foreign language. A young boy appeared, and I asked him to tell me a word in a foreign language. He said something garbled, and I asked him what it meant. He looked at me with a huge grin and, shaking his head, he replied, "I do not know!" I asked him for another one, same answer. So I flew off and found a young black girl sitting with her mom outside their house. Funny, it was night time now. I asked her for a foreign word and she said something that could only be described as tongue and throat clicks. I asked her what that meant and she said, "Go the way of Jesus." I thought of the eyeball task right after that, and thought about going into their house and finding a bathroom mirror for the task. But before I went in, I decided to recap the basic task so I'd remember it better when I woke up. It was a good plan and a bad plan. I took the time to recall it, but then woke up before going into the house. Oh well, next time
Ritual: Went to bed 1am, woke at 2, too early to do anything, woke again at 5:40 with fresh NLD, so forced myself to get up and do a proper WBTB. Returned to bed at 6:15, did hybrid of SSILD and counting, but kept getting disturbed by environmental factors. Hard to sleep, eventually dozed off without awareness, finally woke at 7:20 and declared it a failed attempt. I could still squeeze in another hour of sleep though so I figured I'd just try FILD as a last resort. After this things get confusing. My best guess is that I did FILD, then fell asleep and into a NLD, then... I woke up, or thought I did (might have been an FA), and did FILD again (possibly in the dream state). Then I noticed that my arm was lying free on the bed rather than tucked under my pillow as usual, so I thought, "Fine, I'll do the stupid nose pinch RC," and what do you know, I could breathe! So I knew I was dreaming, but I was very perplexed. I had just been doing FILD and hadn't observed any kind of transition or even a momentary lapse of awareness in which the transition could have occurred. How could I have fallen asleep and not realized it? In retrospect, I really do think that this started as an FA that I mistook for a real waking, so I did FILD without realizing that I was already dreaming. Hey, whatever works. So I sat up, and immediately became more perplexed. I was in a bed, but it was not the one I had gone to sleep in, and the bedroom also bore no resemblance to mine in RL. I got up and started looking around, but then I realized that I recognized the place after all: hadn't I been having a non-lucid dream here, just before I woke up and tried that FILD attempt? (This also argues for the FILD-during-FA hypothesis, and it wouldn't be the first time I've had a "WILD" that was initiated from within an ongoing dream—a DIWILD?) This is hard to confirm because I always have a hard time putting dream events in their proper sequence, but there were events I remembered taking place in this building that don't seem lucid and don't fit into my memory of the lucid episode, so I think that must be what happened. That is, all the previous events took place downstairs, but the entire lucid sequence took place upstairs in what I took to be the same house. NLD: Earlier when I was downstairs, there had been some complicated narrative I don't recall, but it resulted in me opening the front door several times to let cats into the house. At one point there was a really big one, an orange tabby, both large-bodied and very plump. When I saw him sitting on the doorstep I thought he was the biggest cat I'd ever seen, and I invited him in and closed the door. But there had been two or three other orange tabbies of normal size sitting with him, so I relented and opened the door again to let them in too. "Okay, fine, we'll just let them all in." I knew we didn't have room for them all, but figured it wouldn't be fair to turn them away after I'd already let in others. We could sort it out later. After this I stood in the entry and watched the extra-big cat ambling away down the hall. Now it was even larger than it had seemed at first, with a lean, bony frame that was not at all cat-like. In fact, I thought I recognized what it was, and said to someone standing nearby, "That cat looks an awful lot like a moose. You know, I think it might actually be just a moose with no horns." Only it was still orange, which seemed a very odd color for a moose. DIWILD: So apparently this all happened earlier, before the FILD attempt, and afterwards I was convinced I was still in the same house. In the wall facing the end of the bed was a doorway to another room, and when I went inside, I encountered someone that I immediately recognized as the moose-cat from earlier, although now he was a human-looking man with orange hair. I was still curious, so I asked him, "Are you a cat or a moose?" "I have three types of glands," he answered, and I had the impression he was suggesting that he was both, and something more besides, a protean type of creature. The two of us sat down on the couch, and for a moment my dream libido took over, and I started making out with him. But as things got more intense I recognized that this was a distraction and would accomplish nothing useful. Didn't I have tasks to do? I remembered that last night I had been on DV looking over the monthly tasks for August, and there had been one that I particularly wanted to try out. This seemed like the perfect opportunity. So I disentangled myself from moose-cat-man's embrace and said firmly, "Tell me a word in a foreign language." It was hard to make out what he said at first. It sounded like "Arab mormon." "What?" I wasn't sure if I had heard him correctly. This time he distinctly just said, "Mormon." It didn't sound like a word in a foreign language, but whatever. Run with it. "Alright, now tell me what it means." "A married man." I wasn't very satisfied with this result and wanted to try again. Another DC was in this room, sitting on another small couch further along the same wall, so I went and sat down next to him. This time I made sure my instructions were more explicit from the start: "I want you to tell me a word in a foreign language, and then tell me what it means." "Sprenn," he said promptly. "Spread?" I repeated what I had thought I heard at first. "Sprenn," he clarified, and helpfully spelled it for me. "S-P-R-E-N-N." "Okay, what does it mean?" At this he smiled coyly, as if embarrassed. "I'll... tell you later." I had the impression it must be a word for something naughty, but I needed to find out. "Please?" I wheedled. He shook his head. I decided to be more forceful. "Come on, you have to tell me!" I tried to think of how to back this up, and added, "It's my homework assignment." He tried to explain in a roundabout way: "It has to do with the city of Myrkbalik, and the laws of Garibaldi." The two names he mentioned sounded complicated, so I wanted to make sure I had heard them correctly. "What was the name of the city? Mrkbalik?" He nodded. "And the second name? Garibaldi? Garifaldo?" This reminded me of a name I had heard in waking life, so I tried to remember, then joked with him, "The laws of Janeane Garofolo?" He laughed, though it wasn't clear whether or not he recognized the pop culture reference, and repeated the name for me. It still sounded closer to "Garibaldi" than anything, though I had so much to remember at this point that I didn't dare ask him to try to spell it. Already in the back of my mind I was cycling through data points "mormon... married man... sprenn... mrkbalik..." trying to make sure I would be able to preserve them through waking. Mrkbalik... that's how it sounded, and I didn't ask him to confirm the spelling of that one either. But he had said it was a city name, and to my ears it sounded Russian or Eastern European. I had a sudden insight about this DC, and asked him, "You majored in Slavic studies, didn't you?" He confirmed this. I felt as though this conversation was winding down, so I got up and crossed the room. Against the opposite wall was a sort of shelving unit, framing square cubbyholes about the size you might put a pair of shoes in, six cubbies high and six wide. It was resting on some elevated base so that the fourth row of cubbies up was equal with my eye level. I looked in this row and saw that a couple of the cubbies were inhabited by small kittens. Could the kittens talk, I wonder? If so, I might even try the task again. But as I was wondering this, the little grey tabby kitten in the cubby I was peering into addressed me first. It had a tiny creaky high-pitched voice, like you might expect of a kitten, and said something about how its eyes were damaged or hurting. I was troubled to hear this and wondered how I might help. Since this was a dream, I figured the most effective way to help the kitten would be to correct its expectations. I smiled and said encouragingly, "No, your eyes are perfectly fine!" We had a few more exchanges like this, where the kitten would say something upsetting and I tried to reassure it. I don't remember anything afterwards so around this time I guess I woke up, although I don't have a distinct sense of the moment when it happened.
This was fun. First I had a nonLD about finding some robin eggs. I brought them into the bedroom and showed them to Danny. He said he believed that they had been fertilized already. Sure enough, I looked at them and they had sticky stuff on the outside of the little pink shells. "EW!" I dropped one on the floor and it cracked slightly. I was so worried that I might have hurt a potential little baby bird inside so I picked it up. I was holding it in my right hand, when I suddenly seemed to be lying down. I "fell asleep" in the dream, holding the slimy little egg, then had a false awakening: I "woke up" or so I had thought, and was immediately aware that a slimy egg was in my hand. But I knew that finding the egg and dropping it had been a dream, because it was a house I didn't recognize, and now I was in my real room. How was I still holding this egg? LUCID!! Now it felt like a jello egg, and I let it kinda "sploop!" out of my hands, and I got out of the bed. I recalled the elevator totm because I've been talking about it for days. I've been thinking alot lately about the power of expectation, and have come to some conclusions about it, and how I've found a mechanism that helps it to work better. I'll have to post about that sometime. Anyway, I opened my bedroom door, and as I did, I told myself, "Now that I'm in that hotel, I just need to find the elevator that's just down this hallway." Sure enough, as soon as I opened the door, a hotel hallway stretched out before me. I walked down it a bit, thinking to myself, "The elevator is right about here." On my right was the door to a room, but to my left was an elevator! "I'm going to hit the down button." And as I approached the doors to the elevator, a simple up arrow and a down arrow button appeared. I hit the down arrow and the doors opened right away. It looked like a normal elevator: wood floor, carpeted walls and a metal bar that went 3 quarters around mid height. But when I looked at the back wall of the elevator, the left part looked like it opened up into another elevator. Kinda like twin elevators, with a partial partition. When I got the the partition, I realized immediately that it was in fact a mirror, because I saw my reflection. Only it wasn't me, it was my stepdad! Wearing that same dumb blue and green plaid shirt and khaki pants lol. I screamed at first because it startled me, and jumped back. The reflection imitated me at the same time. I laughed so hard at the ridiculousness of it, that I started float-flying in the elevator, occasionally projected forward a bit by my own laughter as if each laugh acted as propulsion. So weird haha. Then I woke up. Had another lucid after that where I pinched my own balls. I felt it as if I had pinched my inner thigh lol. So weird, again.
non dream dream lucid lucid #1 I'm in a house. I instinctively do a nose plug and become lucid. I try bumping into various walls various in an attempt to phase through. After several attempts, I phase through a rock wall into a courtyard. I turn my attention to summoning a dc. I put my hand behind my back but nobody was there. I turn around and don't see anybody. I remain patient though and see a little girl fade into view before my eyes. I ask her to teleport me to her favorite place. She explains it's some hole on some golf course. We hug and hold each other while she recites some spells (eeny meeni mini mo, ect,) which doesn't work. I walk away and ask several other dcs if they could help, but every one them said "no". I wake up. lucid #2 I wake up in my bed to a buzzing sound. I do a nose plug and became lucid. I tried to get up but I was being blocked by the buzzing sound. (I don't know what it is) I called for a dream guide and one appears. I ask him to get rid of the barrier and he does. I get a good look at my dream guide. He is not Dori but is another man. He is creepy looking- tall, skinny, and lacking eyes in their sockets. I thank him for helping me. He says, "Sometimes our fears get the best of us." I tell him I want to teleport and he agrees to help. We go into a very small room attached to my bedroom. After a couple of seconds, the room drops. It's an elevator! It drops down a few floors and takes a few turns horizontally before it dropped me off. I found myself in a cartoon classroom full of kids. I look around and am entertained but the writings on the walls. All I remember is the teacher's name is "Poppins". I wake up.
I drive mum's car on the country road. I have on my mind to park the car and find a place to sleep and induce LDs. I drive very fast and when I'm going through a small village, I hit someone's car mirror. I'm going still pretty fast. The mirror seems to be okay, just a little bit dirty. The road became impassable. I stop the car and go out. There is a forest and I see circular shrine of some kind. I go there. I meet some children with their parents, they seems to be tourist and they are speaking German or something like that. Near the shrine, there is a house. I have fake memories that I've already slept there, so I decide that I'm gonna sleep in the house tonight as well. I wonder if I didn't forget to lock the car. I know that I left there my wallet and my phone. I lie down to a large bed. When I drift to sleep, a small little figure in the brown hood. I think his eyes are lighty iluminated. He grabs my hand and leads me to another room. It's kind a spooky. It become to occur to me that I'm dreaming. I try to do RC by jumping up the ceiling. I levitate. The little figure is staring at me. I use telekinesis to clear him away, he's really creepy looking. I'm at my gradma's hall. I think about my planned LD activities. First that came to my mind is 3 step task. I clearly remember, what to do first - mass telekinesis. I'm pretty good at that so it shouldn't be a problem. There are onions and flowerpots. I try to lift up all the things by my mind. Nothing happens. Okay, well let's try the onion first. I focus on lifting up onion and a moment it flies on the hall. I remember that I need to lift up at least 10 things. I already did the great mass telekinesis with 50 DCs so flowerpots and onions are not the problem for me. In the few minutes, everyting is flying on the hallway. I enjoy to manipulate with them. The first step completed. The second is go through a solid object. I see wooden doors. I naturally pass through it with my eyes open, no biggie. The second task - check. When I'm outside I remember my third task. Teleportation. I'm not goot at teleportation. I try to figure out how can I teleport to Shire. I try it six times with various doors but it doesn't work. I try to ask a DC how can I get myself to the Shire. I see someone in the garage. I ask him. He drops a white rat on the floor and tells me that I need to follow it. Strange, but why not try. I follow the white rat, it has wet and dusty fur. It runs to neighbors. I stick behind it. I try to figure out from where I know this situation. Oh, yes, the Matrix I think. It begins to burrow on the hill of dried soil. I try to follow it. I dig in the dirt by my hands. I lost it. I try to pass through the ground, but it doesn't work because the dirt is so friable. Screw it, I can fly to the Shire by myself. If I'm gonna expecting that I will see the shire, then I would. I jump in the air and fly. I need to fly fast again. I focus on kicking my legs and speeding up. It works great. I see a small pond beneath. There are wooden swings and old willow. The grass is strange green, I don't know how to describe it. It feels like a shire, so I think I'm on the right track. I fly further. Gradually, there are small fields and plantations. It's hobit style with small tools. I land amongs the farm facilities. I think what else I could do to gain more points in the competition. Fight my teammate. I try to summon someone from my team. CanisLucidus appears behind my back. He looks the same as Liam Neeson. I face him and try to start friendly fight. I throw a stone on him. He's just standing. I take my swiss knife and throw it towards him. I hit him, but he is okay. He has the swiss knife as well, only the bigger one. He looks pretty angry. He's preparing to hit the knife at me. I'm afraid of pain so I yell: STOP! NO! NO! He throw it anyway. I use my telekinesis ability to stop it in the air. It drops on the ground. He pick it up and try to hit me again. I don't like stitchinkg my dream body. I convince him by my will to stop that. We go together to the near house. We met two beautiful girls inside and the third is mature woman. I like the young one with curvy black hair. They are only in their underwear. I need to complete task of the month and lucid dares - be naked infront of DCs. I ask the girl, if she is gonna have sex with me. She says: Okay, but in twenty minutes. I take my clothes off. She looks at me and takes me to bed immeadiately. I think that the lucid dream is long enough and I did all the things I intended so I would like to wake up. The most realiable method to wake up is to start having sex for me. I'm doing it with the nice girl for 5 minutes or more, but I'm still not waking up. CanisLucidus/Liam Neelson is doing the other girl on the next bed. I don't enjoy the sex and thinking about that real one is much better. I become be little worry about waking up. I stop and go out. I want to wake up now! I'm starting to a little panic. False awakening in the gradma's living room on the sofa. Recently, I practice to recognize FAs so I was aware that this is not waking world immediately. There are three black guys in the room. I tell them that I need to wake up. They claimed that I'm wake up. I reply them that it's very very unlikely that my granma has three black guys in her living room. I'm afraid that my car is being robbed from the first non lucid part of the dream. I run to the hall. I'm starting to panic a lot. I don't know where to run or what to do to wake up. I feel like a wild animal newly caught in cage. I try to beating the walls with my body and screaming. The dream is only more stabilized. Holy shit! I try to calm down. A memory from the movie Waking life arise, that the main character has the same problem. A movie DC advised to him: Simply just wake up. I focus on this simple though and stop panic. Suddenly I open my eyes. I see the wooden wall. I feel great relief that I'm awake and the car is okay. Doing RC to be sure. The ending of the dream was horrible experience. I need to get accustomed to these 1 hour+ lucid dreams. (supplements used: galantamine, choline and sulbutiamine) http://www.dreamviews.com/lucid-aids...ment-here.html

All of a sudden, I was at my school during an athletic event. Swimming in partic-tac-ular. I was sucking except for the basketball portion in which I aboslutely killed at. Basketball in the water, except you use a floating beach ball. This competition was inside btw. I thought "Hell or high water, I'm going to get a medal TODAY." Just then, the water rose for more in-depth competition. A dialogue box popped up that said "At this altitude of water, there may be sharks. Be on the lookout." Then I thought "Why would there be sharks in an indoor competition?" This was my first clue that it was a dream. I finally did an event correctly. Swam 20mph in the sprint. Then I thought "Wait, I'm not even athletic, what's this?" I wanted it to be my turn so bad, that it actually came true. The rotations had smiled upon my liking, and I showed them who's boss. I talked to the kids post-game. There's this one who's the hotshot of the school; athletic, smart, cool, etc. He doesn't want me near him in real life because "I'm not worthy of his presence" or something like that. Since I had showed my brightside to him, I thought he'd look the other way. Nope. He said some snobby stuff, but then I said: "This is a dream, Ethan. We can do whatever we want. I can do whatever we want." He replied "Bullsh*t." I raised four miniature geysers of lava and shot ice crystals at his feet from nowhere. Not one of them hit. "Jesus christ, this IS a dream!" "Yes, didn't I tell you?" I saw the fear in his eyes. "Everything is wrong here. Nothing is right, but that's what I need to fix. If I grant you powers, the dream will become unstable, I'll leave and live my normal life, while you're here, stuck with the tyrannic rulers." I had his full attention now. "Omnipotent rulers?" "Yes. They're using you as fuel. You are slaves to them. I'll clear them out so you can go back to your life, or stay here if you desire. Stay safe." The truth was stranger than fiction though. I had unplugged myself [woke up] and found myself in a whole new setting. The world was dark, and people were handing their electronic devices to men that looked like Agent Smith from The Matrix while they sat in cars with guns. I ran straight into the school as sentinels flew above me. "Mrs. Swenson, what's going on?" "Come with me." This part of my dream skipped out, but I knew it. I had the power. to test this, I went into an elevator. I pushed 1 "ground level" and said "Cut power to elevator" The elevator sparked and warped a bit. I was then actually afraid as I drifted back into naivete. I almost lost my grasp on my lucidity. I found myself no-clipped out of the world. Much like in Half-Life 2, or Portal. When you can fly around and through objects, and see the entire map in a grayish blue box-ish outline full of objects. This was frightenting. The force at work here was much stronger than me, so I warped home. I immediately looked out my window. An agent in a red tie in a black buggy looked up at me. I saw the coldness and emotion, or lack thereof, in his eyes. He drove away. I then woke up AGAIN, to find that I was on Newgrounds. The endeavors I experienced were a Newgrounds Flash Animation. But I knew there was another level to this. I went to World's End, an ethereal location in the game Magicka. World's End is what it sounds like. Barren floating islands with a very beige, green background. There was a path. I had a showdown with the Beast himself. My inner demons. He wielded a large club, and I made myself twice his size. I couldn't stomp on him. I couldn't block him. I had to wait until he was out of breath, and land the finishing blow. I punched him off the barren island into No-Man's Land. He fell down into the deep, foggy abyss. I'm much happier now, tbh.
LUCID x 2 WBTB + supplement (8 mg galantamine) DEID I am at work, talking to L. She just did a strip tease for the guys in the SEC. I note how skinny she looks. I wonder how she can get away with doing this in the work place. HR would freak if they knew this was going on here. L doesn't seem well, and I learn she recently got a DUI. She tries to make it sound like we are alike, especially with the DUI. I tell her she is wrong, I never got a DUI. I see another woman, preparing to take a shower. I think it is my friend H. Irritated by my conversation with L, I feel myself lift up toward the ceiling. I start to spin, and realize I am dreaming. Excited, I float along the ceiling slowly, trying to maintain focus in the dream. I move toward a doorway, wanting to leave this dream scene. I exit through the door and start walking down the stairs. I am a little worried, because I have dreamed this kind of stairway before, and those dreams are often unpleasant. I remind myself to keep my fear in check. I exit through another door and find myself in a strange hall. It looks like some kind of medical facility. Far down the hall I see what appears to be tubes that may have people in them. I see a woman in the hall, maybe a nurse. She looks surprised and upset, and she says I can't be here. I try to reassure her. I look directly at her and tell her in a calm voice "It's OK, I am dreaming. This is a dream." She does not believe me. I wake up. Excited about my success with having an LD, I hold very still in bed, determined to immediately re-enter the dream state to try again. I imagine myself floating toward the ceiling and spinning like in my previous dream, and in just a few seconds I am dreaming again! I am in a large building, so I decide to go exploring. I become aware that my bladder is full and I really need to pee (LMAO), so I think hard about what I need to do to stabilize myself as long as possible. I tell myself that it is my dream body that is experiencing the physical sensation, not my physical body. I also clap my hands several times to try to ground myself in my dream body, which works well. As I explore the dark hallways, I remember that my LD goal is to find an elevator. I turn a corner and see one at the end of the hallway. I want it to be a glass elevator so I can see the view outside. I press the button and hope for the best. The door opens and it is a glass elevator! I get in and press a button. It is very dark outside, and the dream is unclear. The elevator is not moving up or down, but sideways instead. I watch the scenery carefully, trying to will it to become clearer. I see city lights, and finally an ocean scene far in the distance. I want to get out to go see the ocean. I exit and start walking down a road. There are no DC anywhere. It looks like a very long walk to reach the shore but I am determined. I have to keep clapping my hands to stay focused. Along the way, I remember that I'd like to try eating something. I want some pasta since my gluten intolerance has made it impossible to enjoy real pasta for years now. I see a small Italian restaurant ahead. As I get closer, I see the doors are very small, and I don't think I will fit through them. I decide to keep walking rather than risk waking myself up by shoving myself through an impossible door. The last part of my walk is on a narrow dirt path, with some steep edges. There is a ravine on my right. I am very close now, and I see a nice building on the shore, which appears to be luxury apartments. I wake up before I reach it.
