This is after I woke up from my first dream. I recited "if it's red, I'm in bed" with great difficulty before simply falling asleep. I'm walking in a somewhat active park with someone, and we drove my car there. It began pleasantly enough, but then the person I'm with starts to feel not as well. I say something along the lines of "lets go back to my car and turn on the AC"; but instead, like the actions of a rational human being, I put her in a shopping cart and scoot her around. I find this hilarious after I wake up, for very ironic reasons aside from the thought of pushing an unconscious adult around in a cart. We go to the boardwalk of a pier, which actually reminds me of Navy Pier in Chicago. And, like the real Navy Pier, it was ridonkulously foggy. It is starting to get dark at this time, and the streets lights are starting to turn on. We are heading towards Lake Michigan (or, in the dream, a random ocean), and to my left, I can see a giant, jade-colored tower with golden lights rising out of the fog in the waters. I couldn't see the base of it due to the fog/mist; but the way it is situated, it looks like the fog is some sort of a portal, and the tower is rising out of it since I can see the water line, and it is all clear. (Note: Now that I'm awake, I realize that it is very similar one of my favorite pictures I took of a tower in Chicago, which actually did kind of look like it was rising out of the fog -- hey, an excuse to use the attachment feature! -- though, not at this of an extreme as my dream). It's the building to the right. God, I love Chicago. To my right is another giant tower, only this one is more marble white, and, due to its proximity, I can see the base (which featured columns -- lots and lots of columns). It's situated right in front of a grass quad. It's at this time my friend wakes up. I tell her she overheated (not as in a fever, but as in the cooling fans didn't work), and I figured the ocean breeze would help. I guess even Fake Chicago has winds colder than death. There was a Video Game College to our right in front of the white tower, so we decide to go in and visit. Inside, it is pleasantly lit. It looks like a hotel in terms of hallway/room layout, but the actual rooms feature wooden bunk beds like the dorms I've been in. The guy who greets us is a tubby, modern faux-hippy wearing a green shirt half a size too small, dirty orange hair in white-people dreads, and just-as-dirty-ginger beard (not a missed MILD cue alert for me, by the way: it's a very, very specific red that I'm noticing). The dream fades while the dude talks at me. The dream picks up again, and I'm back in the same busy park, only I moved backwards in time and it's the afternoon again. I'm next to my car, and it is parked on the street in the same spot as I "knew" from before. In terms of location, if I keep going straight, I'd eventually make it back to the pier again. To my right is a row of dirty apartment buildings; it's similar to the row houses you'd find in San Francisco, only if San Francisco just gave up and started downing whole gallons of ice cream each night. To my left is a grassy patch, with a large oak tree (the trunk is maybe a 1.5-meters wide) at my 10 'o clock. Just a bit past the tree, but more to my immediate left, is a decently sized park basketball court that features 4-5 rows of bleacher seats and chain-linked fences. Two of my housemates, E and S, are there, but they are complaining about the gutters around the court being overgrown with weeds. So now, in my mind, I make some sort of weird plan to insert a grate through the sewers where the roots are, cement off the opening while leaving a slight opening, then pulling the weeds out as they grow through the limited opening. Somewhere during the planning phase, I somehow actually do it. The dream fades; and then it gets a bit noteworthy. I wake up, and but it's not time for me to get out of bed yet, so I just lay there for a bit. I recite my MILD mantra just in case, but I still have the park dream with the basketball court fresh in my mind; so my mind begins to wander a bit about playing basketball. I thought about playing hoops with my friend DR. C!!! (FYI: it is required by law that you tell his name every time due to reasons)... the wicked crossover move I had in middle school... fantasized a bit about what if I was back in high school and I retained all my current abilities... being athletic enough to dunk the ball from the foul line... and suddenly, I wake up again. Apparently, I dozed off while thinking about basketball, only I don't think my stream of thought ever "broke," thus my mind was still busy doing the basketball equivalent of masturbating while my body slept. I'm chalking this up to some sort of WILD, or perhaps a very, very brief step towards LD? I drift in and out of sleep a little more, but nothing else happened.

Part one is a short one because part two is much, much more vivid. But anyways, I continue use of my MILD mantra before dozing off. I'm watching basketball on television in a living room at what I feel like is my parents' house (I'm the only person in this dream). I'm also aware that I'm cooking something in the adjoining kitchen, so I'm not completely engrossed in the game. In the basketball game, I know it's the Boston Celtics against the Miami Heat -- two teams that I root against. A lot of sequences involve LeBron James guarding Jason Terry (for the 99.9999% of you who don't watch the NBA, if this was a chess match, this is like watching a world-class chess player defending against a carrot), and Jason Terry is doing frustrating Jason Terry things that is frustrating because frustrating people is how frustrating Jason Terry frustrates. He's over-dribbling, driving into crowds, doing useless spins, putting up contested fadeaways... only it's all somehow fucking working. Seeing how I dislike Miami marginally more so than Boston, I root for the carrot despite my objections as a basketball fascist. Anyways, I remember that I have a pot of broth on the stove; and when I go check, the broth is bubbling (but not going nuts). I manage the heat a little, and then I wake up. The odd thing is, when I woke up at whatever dumb time it was, I got this overwhelming sense of melancholy about missing my parents, watching basketball, and cooking -- except that I stayed over at my parents house, watched basketball, and helped cook dinner that exact same night.

After my dream battle dream I went back to sleep. I was in an assembly at school. Children from my lessons were there as well. Most of the children there were girls. She asked everyone why we were here and most people (including me) replied because they were trying to get to sleep. 1 of the girls said that she was here because that she did not like it when the Cadbury company were taken over and bought from Kraft. I though that was a little bit weird to say and I looked around and realized that it was a dream because that there was a door that was never there before. I ran down the stairs and went through the door. It was a black corridor. At the end of the corridor I saw a Webkinz Seal with a first edition W. It looked a bit gray. I picked it up and suddenly my dad ran past me and pretended to be a money and stole the seal and ran off on all 4s making monkey noises. My alarm clock went off and I woke up. This was a really weird dream. No wonder I realized that it was fake!
I had just found out that my best friend and her sisters share dreams almost every night so I asked my friend if we could try having a shared dream battle tonight. She said yes. That night I went to sleep using WILD. Once I was in the dream I was a headless chicken running around. I tried to make a portal to my friends dream. I could not do it as a headless chicken so I closed my eyes and when I opened them I was myself. I tried to make a portal but it would not work so I gotten a little bit frustrated. Then I remember from my Twilight Sparkle dream that I could use magic as Twilight Sparkle. I closed my eyes and tried to turn myself into Twilight Sparkle and it worked! I now used my magic and successfully made a portal. I concentrated on my friend and going to their dream and went through the portal. I opened my eyes and then I was in my best friends dream! There was a castle there with a big moat and a drawbridge. It was exactly like what she had explained to me at school that day. I then saw my friend standing there. I asked her if she was ready to start. She had spawned about 80 creepers and I flew away screaming because that she surprised me because she never answers my question. I then spawned a couple of robots that attacked the creepers. She spawned loads of Pikachu which jumped and climbed all over my robots. I was trying to spawn lots of Charizard but I turned myself into Charizard instead. I used flamethrower and killed all of the creepers. My friend was gone. I then suddenly woke up. I was lying in my bed. I then woke up for real. The next day at school I asked her if she had died because she dissapeared and if she saw me vanish. She said before I used my flamethrower she telaported behind me and killed me with a sword. Because she already knew that I used flamethrower before I told her and she knew that I must have woken up or gone somewhere else in the dream this proves that it was a real shared dream! This is the second shared dream that I have had. I might try and have another 1 tonight with a different friend. This was an awesome dream! I cant believe that having a planned shared dream together worked! I will try and do it more often now!
actually i was at susie's place. there was a football game going on outside the garage. thiss slutty black girl in the garage kept trying to bang me and anyone else who walked into the garage. there was this little dancer girl who told me she was in a low key ballet performance with merly streep. then i asked her if she kne did mother courage and she said she had seen it and was inspired. some how i flew of the balcony as part of the act to entertain the party and i started breaking stuff all overe. i really upset this slittle kid and carlos had to initiatiate the apolagy in which i later finished by giving the little guy the hug. brittany was right there to..
Transfer from my thread about it from the 15.11.13: Woohooo! I did it and a long one I am soo happy - finally!! After one almost WILD and two mini-lucid episodes - finally - the big one since joining up here!! Started out with me putting the alarm 4 h after falling asleep and trying WILD once more. I almost managed - there were some strange sensations and slipping and sliding about - but I came out of these with too much awakeness after a while And got impatient and fell asleep. I use an I-Phone now for pre-journalling - and I had journalled away one first dream before. The following dream had me sleeping over at a friendīs flat (both grown ups) - and I woke up there - and didnīt do a RC unfortunately. It was a lot of fiddling, and the I Phone didnīt work (ha!) and she thought it was all bs anyway with my LD-thing - next was getting into an argument with two other women also sleeping there and this and that - got it all on tape. I will have to do something with this thread - put it in my DJ or edit in here - I am again too impatient to take it one thing after the other. Anyway - woke up for real from this false awakening - journalled - fell asleep. And again woke up at this friendīs place. And I thought - noo way - and made the nose-plug RC. Three times, cause I couldnīt believe it anyway! Yepp - lucid! Told my friend so - this time she laughed and congratulated and I went in the air and zipped about her like some crazed bumble-bee or something. Then we went out - she away the normal way and me through the window - a big one. Outside was a nice park - not as heartbreakingly beautiful as in my second life-time longer lucid - but really nice. I made a point of looking at things in detail - incl. my hands - and they were 100 % life-like - so good to use the plug - also the thumb through palm doesnīt work reliably - too strong of a body scheme I guess. Okay then there were some older people standing about in a bit of a panic - telling me there was somebody suffocating behind some wooden houses - and she would have an orthesis like for broken cervical spine on her neck and they were very worried. I was a bit worried then as well, knowing you can not simply take such a thing off and hope for the best.. First I did one more nose plug and then made fun of them - but anyhow - I got curious and wanted to see another scene so in the end I walked with one of the old ladies. Forgot to ask anybody for what they were thankful for unluckily.. Also the other TOTMs.. Right - it was a young woman, fully healthy - no orthesis, smoking a cigarette and laughing at us. The control thing is not yet ingrained - because I started freezing and flew back into this flat to search for more clothes.. Well - all in all I was really squealing with joy - it was great. When I hovered over the piano - I saw several expensive vases. Ah - dutchraptor!! - I thought and tried to do one of his tasks. The first vase bounced off the ground - the second was already broken and just stood there as a jigsaw - but the third on - crystal-glass - that one broke really nicely - and I had no bad consciousness at all. Really absolutely being sure, that this was my dream and only that. Buut - next thing I tried - well - these windows were like many old houses have them in Germany - big window and above it - separate small windows - so small, you had to wriggle through. I somehow knew I was afraid to do that - it was 4th story and I couldnīt like fly out normally - I was afraid to fall. Bit disappointed with myself - I went back down and after not long woke up. I would say the whole thing was several minutes. As said - there is more, but nothing special and I simply had to churn out this thread now! Thank you DV!! Woooohoooo!!!
Dream recall from today's WBTB/naps. Dream 1(fragments): I am doing some stuff at home and then go through corridor into my room. Upon entering i feel that i am dreaming, but it fades. Some person 'wakes me up' and i still feel the dream, i notice that bed is huge, taking like half of the room. I get up and look around, i briefly notice some anime person but he disappears very quickly. Then i look into mirror and i look completely different and apparently blonde. I try phase/teleport through wall but i get stuck midway and world starts glitching out like when using noclip in video game, shortly dream fades. Dream 2(fragments): I was playing dodonpachi daifukkatsu and it was way too easy. Dream 3(fragments): There was something about flying island on which there were dragons of light-blue scale color. Dream 4(fragments): Some story about cartoonish gods of greek mythology searching for a traitor through some places, including temple with marble pillars. Dream 5(fragments): I was at home, listening to some music. Then someone distracted me with talk and after i looked at monitor and there were danmaku patterns firing out of it.
Dream 1(fragment): I was playing some shooter game. Dream 2(fragments): I was on dreamviews and somebody was creating usernames very similar to other people's names. Dream 3(fragments): I was playing some rts and was rushing down enemy base and then had to retreat and defend my own. Dream 4(fragments): There was some racing game and i was racing a few opponents through maze made of minecraft fences, one of opponents was riding a goat but i was quicker than everyone else by simply running. Then there was also some egyptian based track next. Dream 5(fragments): There was some story about some dude which was taking some people to an abandoned house and torturing them in various ways and he was making other people eat body parts of those people.
Side-note Third-person Dreamsign Breakfast craziness I'm at home, getting breakfast ready. My kitchen looks like my real kitchen; I'm working on the short countertop between the fridge and microwave. I'm trying to make tea and fry a couple of eggs with bacon, but nothing is going right. I'm cooking on a portable propane burner, though I never stop to think about why. The lighting is very dim, so I go to turn more lights on. The kitchen light isn't responding to the controller at all. I try to control the lights in the breakfast nook and in the dining room. The breakfast nook light responds properly, but the dining room light is having trouble. It's at least starting to come on, but it gets stuck at less than half brightness, not producing much light. I keep trying the kitchen light and eventually it starts to get the glow that shows a fluorescent bulb is warming up, but it never actually comes on. Even this concerns me - with the newer ballast we've had the last couple of years, there's no warm-up time, so the ballast must be going bad. The controller is working strangely too. It's supposed to be back-lit at all times with a dim glow, but the back-light is off. At first I'd assumed it was because the controller didn't have power, but it's clearly sending the signals, and lights that actually come on have their keys back-lit at full brightness. Now I'm back to the food. I'm trying to make tea, and something's not right, though I don't remember what. I've got a couple of eggs and a strip of bacon cooking in the pan, and I decide to add another strip. Somehow, I know the package of bacon is in the cabinet, not in the fridge where it's supposed to be. I pull it out and note that it still has a slight chill to it, but I know that's not enough for it to have been protected from going bad. I know you're not supposed to eat stuff that's been out for more than 2 hours, but I also know that most people don't actually get sick. I open the bag and give it a sniff test, and it smells fine. I reason that it's already been smoked and cured, so it should be reasonably well preserved and safe. I get out another strip and add it to the pan. Now I'm upstairs finishing getting ready to leave. It dawns on me that I left the burner on downstairs and my food is still on it. I race back to deal with it. Now I'm downstairs, heading through the hallway to the kitchen. I'm glad the smoke detector isn't going off, and I don't even smell the slightest hint of burning food. Now I'm back in the kitchen getting the food off of the pan. The eggs look good, though I have no doubt that the yolks are fully cooked through. The strips of bacon stuck together, but they don't look burnt either. I put them into something to take to work. At work, I'm walking around with Scott. I'm carrying a plastic tumbler with some green tea which is still brewing. We start to go down some stairs (a very wide stairwell) but he stops me. Looking down the stairs, I see that a huge section of stairs is missing, and that if I'd gone another few feet I would have fallen to the story below. Scott explains they're doing some work on the walls that's incompatible with stairs. He points to a vertical bump running up and down the wall, and it does seem to be the limit of where the stairs go. We're trying to figure out a different route to get to the floor below us when I notice some chairs propped against desks at strange angles. Somehow I know these are makeshift stairs that will let us go down; I point out the "clever" idea. Now I'm sitting at a table with Scott, preparing to eat breakfast. The table is long and rectangular; we're sitting near the end. I've still got my cup of tea, but now it has a lot of ice in it. I think that I added the ice to help it cool down so I can drink it faster, but I hadn't meant to get so much. I decide it's probably already too cool to drink as a hot drink, so I go all the way and stir all the ice in trying to make iced tea. Scott and I both have a small slip of paper with some information and an "inspirational quote". Looking at mine, it's nonsensical. I show it to Scott and we start making derisive comments about our company, that they would let such ridiculous stuff be passed around in their name. Now Troy is sitting with us. I ask him if he's seen the quotes and he says he hasn't. I try to find mine or Scott's, but I don't see them anywhere. I glance over at the little trash can next to the end of the table, but I don't want to dig through it. I see other things - seed packets for one - but not the little piece of paper. Troy sees it, though, and reaches in and grabs it. He also thinks it's crazy. Looking at it as he holds it, I'm a little confused. I thought that when I had it, it was covered in English with the quote in bold at the top; but the slip Troy has is covered in Asian characters with the quote in English at the top. Airport security I'm watching people go through a security line at an airport. There's a single security arch with two lines of people going through at the same time. The line closer to me is comprised entirely of clones of a young woman - they're all completely identical, down to their movements. These people are in no particular hurry. They're going in a nice orderly line through, turning at the end, and going down the stairs. The line behind her (further from me) is comprised of clones of an older woman dressed in rather severe business clothes. She's in a hurry and not paying attention to what she's doing. One of her runs into something at the end of the line; she gets bent over it. Other copies of her start running into her, piling up. Now I'm seeing further down the steps, at a point where the steps change from carpeted for passengers to being plain concrete for the employees. A passenger walking past says something about needing the restroom; I tell him that I hope he brought one in his carry-on, because he's not allowed to use anything he didn't personally bring. He looks confused, and I laugh, telling him I'm just joking. Now I'm in another room. I see a man at a long table opening someone's carry-on and pulling out all the stuff inside, looking over it. Analysis Dreamsigns: * Lighting failure * Things generally not working right * Paper changing contents * Gap in stairwell
Long, vivid lucid dream!!! I was at our living room table with my mum and my grandma. My grandma was talking about this diet and my mum kept asking for more. In real life, my mum wants to lose some weight. She was being really annoying and then she decided to make one of the dishes my grandma was talking about. My mum made a huge mess and for some reason that pissed me off. I told her she was stupid, and then she went upstairs. Last night, I had snacks in my bedroom, so I got scared she'd find them, so I ran upstairs to see where she had gone. My bedroom door was shut. I tried opening it and someone was on the other side, trying to keep me outside. I pushed it really hard and it opened. I got in and my mum and the maid were inside. I looked around and everything was different. The furniture looked old and cheap and it was all ugly. I looked at my mum and I was like: "Are you kidding me?", but she didn't look too bothered. I looked around again, still very pissed off. Then, it clicked. "Ohhh, I get it! This is a dream, right?" I looked at my hand. My fingers seemed normal, but I could tell there was something weird going on, and it was obviously a dream. My mum said "I don't know what you're talking about", but I left my room anyway. I thought about what I should do. I tried summoning the character from my story again. I shouted his name a few times. Instead of working, I kinda fell face first on the floor. I was sure that'd wake me up, but it didn't. I got up and didn't know what to do. I remembered the TOTM and decided to ask my mum what she was greatful for. I went to my room and... nobody was there. I shouted "mum!" a few times and then I heard her voice downstairs. I went back to the living room and she was there, with some other people. I went to her and asked her what she was grateful for. She said that she was grateful that I had lost some weight. I told her that hadn't happened yet. So she said she was grateful that I was happy. I accepted that answer and I asked my aunt what she was grateful for, but I don't remember her answer. Then, I looked around and the walls were all colourful. I started telling all the people there how amazing it was, cause everything felt so real. I touched the table and the walls and I was all "I can REALLY feel everything! And look at those colours! Everything is so vivid!" but nobody paid much attention to me. Again, I was sure I'd wake up, but nothing happened. I still had no idea what to do, and then I remembered the bonus task. And that's when things got messed up... I was supposed to turn into a turkey, along with everybody else, and carve a human. Instead, I gave everybody pig ears and pig noses. I also had them, and, on the table, we had a pig on something like this: And it had a human face. Then, I woke up.
Original entry dated June 9th, 2002: We were in a city. The architecture reminded me of something designed by Tim Burton, or maybe Jhonan Vasquez. Very tall, black, and spiky. The atmosphere was blackish red. In the city there were human survivors, but it was being overrun by these tall icky greyish aliens. Think maybe a cross between one of those things from "ALIENS" and a vampire-fish, and you're starting to get the right idea. Anyway, we (the humans) had this thing we could do, by concentrating really hard as a group we could create a field all around us so that they could not see us, as long as we remained completely quiet. This was REALLY important. So we were holed up in our little cave, concentrating really hard on being invisible, when our scout came back, and the dumbass was being really loud, so of course the aliens found us. I don't remember much after that, and then I think it changed into another dream, but before it did there was a lot of blood. I had another dream I think along similar lines, but there were big-wheels involved, like the kind I used to ride when I was a little kid. It was weird. I've had other nightmares but don't remember those.
It starts off me and my mom going to the gym and her canceling my membership at the gym. So i leave pissed off. Then suddenly my surroundings change and i'm engaged to this guy. He tells me "i have made many mistakes in my life but i love you". Then i count down from 10 kiss him and say Happy New Year. I walk over to my parents then i wake up.
all i remember is that i was in a class, my teacher told me to go shower, (i dunno) so i did. But when i came back everyone was crowded around a desk and i just started yelling and then got into a fight or something. The next thing i remembered was yelling at someone for reading. I must have been pissed going to sleep or something.
11.18.2013The Demon Within (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I am with my mom. I'm trying to eat a sandwich, but something really confusing and disconcerting is happening that is making concentration difficult (can't exactly remember very well). My focus on attempting to eat is broken when my mom tells me that I'm not "me" anymore. She says "The Beast has taken over you. You're not who you used to be." I look in the mirror and see that I'm no longer having problems eating my sandwich. Quite the opposite. I am now savagely stuffing it in my mouth, eating as though I've been starving for years. Upon realizing this, I stop and stare at my reflection in horror. My mom's words suddenly make sense to me. I'm not who I always believed myself to be. I suddenly remember that I'm a demon who possessed the body of this girl when she was much younger, and our memories integrated. Our identities are practically inseparable now, a perverted integration of myself as a demon and her as a human.
I was riding a motorcycle on a highway, and was terrified of falling. I didn't really have control over the bike, clearly still traumatized by my real-life motorcycle accident two years ago. I came by someone who looked familiar, and it turned out to be my grandmother. I was like "but you're dead!", because, you know, she's dead in real life. I hugged her, and was surprised she didn't seem to find it weird that she was alive. I figured she wasn't going to explain without me asking.
