    1. Nightmare: Terror Garden

      by , 04-07-2011 at 08:14 AM
This dream occurred about 90-minutes after going to bed in the first REM stage. I took a liquid gel multivitamin and 500mg of B5 before bed.

My GF and I were playing a cooperative video game. I remember fighting a giant turtle like monster and she was getting overwhelmed and overly excited playing it. The visuals were very 3D, even holographic, and her character was able to paint cross-hairs on the beast. (There was no fear attached to this part of the dream.)

We decided to go out. It was nighttime outside and all the street lamps were off. My GF was suddenly afraid. The darkness was making me apprehensive too which is not normal. I went to close my car door and it wouldn't shut. I moved the seat belt a little thinking it was caught. Then slammed the door even harder, but it bounced even more.

I looked down at the frame and discovered my wallet and cell phone were lodged there. I figured my phone was broke, but for some reason I didn't want to stay in my drive for another moment. I slammed my car into reverse, in a maneuver to shut the door finally using a hard left spin.

We jammed down my darkened block and near the end on the right hand side standing in front of a car was a cowering German Shepard dog. It was crouched, and it was trembling with fear wetting the street in front of the curb with urine. This was a big healthy looking animal, scared out of its wits.

We drove further and came to near to the spot of my last posted dream Neighborhood: Magic Garden. Standing in the middle of the road was deranged looking huge Rottweiler dog. It was starring me down hard. I rolled down the window this time to attempt to lighten the atmosphere with puppy talk. It just rolled its head, looking at me dead in the eyes with barely contained hostility.

We drove past and reached the exact spot of my last posted dream Neighborhood: Magic Garden There, kitty-corner to where the magic garden had been was a decimated house with the entire front end smashed wide open. I could see a couple inside. Dead. Nude. Frozen in positions of absolute horror on their sofa.

Turning down that street and driving further, the entire block was covered with thick green moss, huge fallen trees, and ripped apart houses. I could hear a massive number of frogs in the distance.

--At this point I whimpered out loud and it woke me up. My heart was racing, I was terrified, and I could still hear the din of hoards of frogs in the distance... The sound faded and it merged with my air filter which was set on low.

I don't have time to post my next dream from last night, it was much more terrifying and extremely realistic.

    2. Wandering At Night

      by , 03-07-2011 at 04:15 PM
It's dark. I see a small dirt road. On both sides, following the road, there is a fence. I'm at a bus stop. A small bus arrives and I enter it. I get down a little further ahead and walk into this building. I go up to the second floor and see a man behind the counter. I don't know who he is, but I give to him my curriculum vitae, because i'm looking for a job. I then get out of the building and don't know if I go left and to where I was before or right. I go right. Eventually I reach this highway. I then decide to go back, i'm a little afraid now, because i'm alone here. On the way back, i see this car, stopped. There is a couple inside. I can also see a children on the backseat. But I try not to pay much attention and keep going back. I then see the bus stop which I was before, and keep going back. I find this hotel/hostel and decide to go in. I look some photos of people who were there before. There aren't many.

    3. Too Many Fingers

by , 03-06-2011 at 03:39 PM (My Sleepy Mind 2010/2011)
      Original Date: 3/6/2011
      Type: New - Lucid
      Dream:

I was in my living room (not exact, but it was mine) and everything was so realistic, like no dream I have ever had (and mine are usually pretty vivid, yet a bit cloudy), so crisp. I suddenly thought about dreaming and how I might be, my body felt weird in the dream, like tingly and light. So I actually remembered to do an RC! (This has never happened to me!) So I did the one I like the most, I looked at my hands and counted my fingers. At first, there were 10, so I was going to stick my fingers through my hand, but decided to count again... and this time there were 11, my pinkie finger on my left hand had an extra finger!! So then I knew I was dreaming.... I was trying to get a handle on it, and stabilize myself, but I was so excited, I could feel myself sort of getting pulled in and out of the concentration of the dream. - Now for some reason, this is the part of my dream that confused me. I went to the kitchen and decided to "roll out of my body" and rolled onto the floor (and I could hear my real body falling on the floor in the bedroom. I wanted to go look at my real body sleeping, but I got distracted with something else.) and then the last thing I remembered was going back into the living room, laying on the floor face down, and closing my eyes. I could then hear someone walking/stomping their feet and coming closer to me, I was terrified, and then (still with my eyes closed) I could feel them grabbing and pulling on the back bottom of my shirt, trying to yank me. I was really freakin scared at this, I had the urge to twist around and kick them away from me with my leg, but I was so scared that I woke up.

      Feelings:
      Excitement, experimental, memory, fear, scared

      Objective Context:
A week ago I was reading "School of Out of Body Travel - 1 A Practical Guidebook" and wasn't really having success and was busy throughout the week, so I stopped my attempts. I have also been getting into the habit of doing RCs all throughout the day, usually counting my fingers and sticking them through my hands.

      NON-DREAM DREAM
We walk towards the door, which appears level with the path I slow down mid-sentence when I notice that the front door is ajar. A sense of dread. (perhaps linked to the story I was telling Frida last Saturday morning 26/2 about experiences of my childhood house being robbed consecutively and how I used to have recurring dreams about coming home to an empty house)

Perhaps we approach the door quietly, listening if anyone is still inside, and we hear men’s voices speaking in Russian deep inside, because I panic and run as fast as I can, to the other side of the street, before we are noticed and devoured by danger. I run straight to the Coates’ house, knocking on the clear glass door, the mother approaches with a drink in her hand, smirking with her mouth full as if she’s having a party in the next room and they’re telling dark jokes. She answers the door mischievously at arm’s length. I smile and ask her if I can use her phone quickly. I call the real estate agent, and anxiety builds, anticipating (like when I called Stuart on Saturday night with only 88cents of credit) the credit running out, listening to repetitive automated messages, before finally I get an answer.

I report to him urgently that someone has broken into our house and that they are violent (dangerous) and need to be removed. The man on the other end says that they will be prepared to proceed with the matter once I supply them with the arrest report and that he can’t do anything now, that I should’ve called the police first, and as I realise the mistake I’ve made, the stress returns, he questions why I was never taught that I had to do that.

There are few scenes of us standing across the road from the house, indecisive on the Ash’s council strip watching for any movement.

While I sit outside the Coates’ house, I see Mum come home, pulling up in the station wagon. She gets out, with Margaret, walking towards the house. I call out to her but she doesn’t hear me. I shout out in a hushed tone, so not to raise the alarm of the men inside, but she’s getting closer to the house still. In desperation I begin shouting for her to get away from the house, but only Margaret hears me, stopping on the lawn, shocked by the intensity of my voice, but my Mum has already entered the house stupidly, and I have to grab her by the arm and march her out, insulting her for not hearing my warning and ignorantly putting herself in extreme danger, and she apologises a little embarrassedly, thanking me cheerfully, still not realising the seriousness of the situation.

There is another memory of sitting on the grass in the backyard of the Coates’ house, where I find 3 identical kitten, white with dark spots, and my friend tells me that they are dangerous. I ignore him, talking to them, so as not to frighten them, staring at me and shifting their formation slowly. I pick one up and it starts thrashing about, clawing at my wrist, trying to get free and lunge at my head, as I lean back and to the side defensively, as the others gang up on me at the same time.

At one stage, sitting on the concrete, like a loading bay combined with an outdoor cafe seating area, next to the convenience store, there are two young men standing above us, arms crossed and necks crooked towards each other, talking in German, and I point over to my Mum, who is mid-sentence with Margaret, pursing my eyebrows to indicate the two men, and without further explanation she quietly translates their conversation in real-time, which is about us, judging us contemptuously.

Sitting out the front of the Coates’ house, night-time, which is now a brightly-lit convenience store, and I go inside, filled with young people dressed up like a Friday night on King Street, perhaps because I spot Laura
(who I saw at the Friki Tiki on Saturday night before the film screening) because I approach her specifically so I can borrow her phone to call the police. She doesn’t want to lend it to me, and not because she is broke, making up an excuse, awkwardly, saying thanks instead of sorry.

I then ask Cordy in the other aisle to use his phone quickly, which he hands me without hesitation, but I realise that the criminals have sabotaged the emergency line, a strange mix of different voices digitally contorted, which I interpret as muffled laughter.

I thank him and tell him that it was no use because “they’ve fucked with the [police] line”, at which point he suggests casually that I go up to the police station. I say it’s a good idea but I don’t know where the nearest one is, and he says that it’s just up the street.

Enthusiastically with pace, I walk up Peacock Parade which is a dark, semi-industrial area, with lots of old brick warehouse fronts, and junk out the front on the sidewalk, broken wooden crates piled up against a telegraph pole, obscuring my field of vision, an illuminated sign on the other side, but standing discarded against the wall, when I hear one of the criminals screaming indignantly, running at full speed from the house, passed the bend in the road where I started at the convenience store, and I start running as fast as I can.

The short guy catches up to me, around my age, and he runs straight to the bottle shop, open like a fruit market, and picks up a bottle of red wine from the rack, and threatens me, saying that he’ll bend my arm back the wrong way with the bottle against a chopping board, or something, a hard surface but unfixed.

The police station is right next door and I suddenly make a bolt for the open doorway before he has a chance to block me off, and beat him to it, feeling invincible by passing the threshold, slowing down like a sprinter, down a narrow hall towards the shoulder-high wooden bench with a large authoritarian insignia printed on the front of it, even though there is no one manning it at that moment.
    5. Hit by a train!

      by , 02-10-2011 at 06:57 AM
I had this dream 3 times in the past. Recently, my dreams have gotten a bit boring so I figured I'd mention this dream that happened 3 times in the past few years. The last one is even more memorable.

My husband is driving the car with me and he takes a wrong turn. He turns into a tunnel of some sort, very dark. It is only at the last few seconds that I realize he has turned into a train tunnel and the train is headed full speed for us! The first two dreams, I woke when the train hit. This time, I screamed "BACK UP!"

I see it coming. It has a light. It is black. There is no way that my husband can back out and I know I'm going to die. I don't look away and then... BAM! it hits! Everything went dark but not my awareness. Everything was gone and all was quiet. In the darkness I woke myself asking, "Am I dead?"
    6. Reunion with my Dream Guide

      by , 02-04-2011 at 10:14 PM (Hazel's Boiler Room)
Gah, my recall has been really awful lately. Too much stress, and not enough time to write down the dreams I do remember. And now, this:

      2/4/10

      1- Reunion with Leroy
I am horrified to note that all of my front teeth have been horrifically chipped... Upon closer inspection, they all look more like fingernails than teeth, and are mangled quite severely. "No way this is real," I say to myself with a snort after overcoming the initial shock. "I've gotta be dreaming."

A reality check proves me correct, and I go outside to think about which of my tasks to attempt. When I get outside, however, I notice that it is far too dark for my liking, which indicates that the dream is unstable. No problem. I rub my hands together, then focus on raising the sun. It works--- but only for about two seconds.

As I'm going for a second attempt, I spot a dark figure approaching me. Suddenly I'm filled with overwhelming terror. "Leroy," I mutter under my breath. It has been so long since I've seen him that I no longer remember how to deal with his fear aura. I simply stand there, frozen, my heart pounding in my chest. Without even a greeting, he abruptly grabs my leg and jerks my feet out from under me, digging his nails into my skin as my back slams to the ground. I feel no pain from his nails, but it feels as though he's screwing with my energy.

Anger wins over the fear. I roughly pull him onto the ground with me and we begin wrestling for control. After a while, he lets me pin him to the ground. He stares up at me, that damned infuriating smirk playing on his lips. Now all of my fear is long forgotten as I lean forwards to kiss him...

...but the dream destabilizes and he vanishes.

Ugh. I certainly hope that Royal Manipulation dream I had wasn't true. If so, EWW! Either way, I need to learn some self control.

    7. 01/31/2011 - "Extinction-Level Event"

by , 02-01-2011 at 04:46 PM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)

      01/31/2011
      Dream One (a)
      "Extinction-Level Event"

(This was the most horrifying, emotional set of dreams I have had in a while...)

      The Earth had been invaded.
High above what could have been every major city in the world, as far as I knew, massive alien spacecrafts hovered. They had come on the scene and looked down upon us, over the span of about 3 days. We never once got to see what these aliens looked like. Instead, they communicated with us telepathically, without ever having to leave their vessels. At first, they didn't say much. I really don't remember if they said anything at all, the first few days. They just kind of loomed over our heads, apparently observing us. Their intentions, at this point, were completely unclear.

Life somewhat continued, even with the presence of our 'visitors,' looming overhead. One day, I had made a few rounds to see some old friends. I know I saw quite a few of my people, but the only ones that really stood out were my baby's mom (who I'll call "G"), and an old "friend with benefits." There was another ex who I believe I might have seen as well, but I'm not exactly sure. Anyway, at one point, G and girl #2 sort of merged and became one person, with different attributes from both (and, of course, I didn't find this strange enough to become lucid ). We went to a fast-food restaurant and either the person on the drive-thru headset couldn't hear me, or there was some other reason why the girl(s) ended up having to go inside through a back door, while I pulled the car around front. Later that night, we were back at an apartment that we were apparently sharing, except I had my own room, and she had one. Despite the knowledge that there were enormous, city-sized space-ships hovering high over our heads, it seemed like a pretty normal night. She ended up going to sleep early, and it wasn't until well into the night that I remembered she had the bag of food with her, and it was now locked away in her room. I didn't feel like waking her up to get it, though, and just shrugged it off. The next morning, she was simply back to G's normal self. All resemblance of the other girl had vanished. It was on the third day (I believe) of their occupation, that the aliens finally decided to give us some insight. Not bothering to pay us any door-to-door visits, the beings simply beamed their thoughts into our heads. We were informed, rather matter-of-factly, that our entire species was about to be exterminated, and that, since they had took up positions that would allow their weapons to sweep over the entire planet, any attempts of escape were completely unnecessary. Armageddon was upon us, and there was nothing we could do about it.

Panic. It barely even had enough time to set in, before the bombing began. Thunderous booms shook our apartment, each one seeming as if were right outside our window. I was absolutely terrified - not so much of death, itself, but the thought of suffering until death. G was, surprisingly, not very affected by the situation. She seemed 100% sure that we were not going to suffer; that it would be quick, painless and peaceful. The chorus of explosions - stomping around the area outside - didn't instill the same sort of confidence within me. With my eyes wide with fear, and my voice the epitome of hysteria, I screamed at her the possibility of our building collapsing, and the two of us being caught in the rubble for God knows how long, our bodies broken, buried, and left to die, waiting for hope that would never come. Amazingly, she responded with a scoff. "Pfft. That only happens in movies," she said. I was floored, immediately switching from frightened to furious that she would just dismiss such a likely scenario. I said "what are you talking about?! Being get trapped in collapsed buildings all the time!! Don't you watch the news?!" My tirade was cut short by a few more deafening blasts, even closer than the previous ones. The entire building shook, and I was actually thrown off of my feet. This one apparently rattled G as well, because we both grabbed each other and huddled together on the bed - our heads ducking in unison; hearts jumping out of our chests with each successive bang from outside.

I was a complete wreck. I don't know that I've ever been so scared. Unable to control my fear, I burst into tears, absolutely terrified of the horrible death that would soon be coming for us. But, once again, G remained rather stoic. She held me close, cradling my head to her, and actually began singing to me to console me! (It was just the most incredible situation, seeing as how I'm usually the one with my head screwed on during stressful times.) Suddenly, there was one final BOOM, right on top of us, and everything went black. (The whole thing reminded me of the final scene in Cloverfield.)

In the 3 or 4 seconds of darkness, I received a message. I can't recall if I saw it in my field of vision, or if it was just telepathic. The message was just kind of 'there.' The message was "You and your daughter..." and that was it. I have absolutely no idea what it was supposed to mean, or where it came from. (Oddly enough, my daughter never made an appearance in the dream.)

      Dream One (b) (FA)
I suddenly 'awoke' on the same bed, eyes full of tears. I looked around the room, which seemed completely undisturbed, and found G sitting on the floor. There were pizza boxes stacked on some of the furniture, and G looked as if we'd just been lounging around the house, shooting the shit all day. Sitting up with a start, I frantically asked her about the aliens, and why the bombing would have just suddenly stopped. She looked at me like she didn't have any clue what the fuck I was talking about. My mind raced. I was thinking that there was just no way I could have imagined all of that. With an extreme sense of urgency, I asked her to tell me what the date was. She didn't know it, so I asked her what day of the week it was, and she said Tuesday. Tuesday, I remembered, was the day that the aliens had actually showed up. I had been transported back to Tuesday...but there were no aliens this time! The only thing I could keep asking myself was 'How is this possible??'

G looked over at the window, a bright light flooding into the room. Passively, she said "that's really pretty," and I was immediately alarmed. I looked out the window, myself, expecting to seeing the bright, swelling light of a nuclear explosion, ready to brace for yet another inevitable shock wave. However, there was no explosion. It was just the sun, rising into the sky, at the beginning of this new day. There really were no aliens, this time. I wasn't able to believe - for one minute - that what I had experienced was a dream. Instead, I figured that I was somehow given another chance at life. I had somehow been transported back to that Tuesday, but without the threat of attack. The human race was no longer in danger of being exterminated. Relief doesn't even begin to describe how I felt. I was practically shaking. The emotions flooded back into me, and I began to cry softly. My eyes remind dry, but if the tears had come, they would have been tears of joy for simply being alive.

(When I woke up from this dream, I felt like I had a hole in my chest. I was completely emotionally drained, and I just sat and stared at the floor for a good five minutes. There is really nothing like honestly believing you are about to die, and then suddenly waking up, safe and sound in your bed. I was numb for a good portion of the day, after coming back from this insane trip.)

    8. Gladiator, Redneck Style

      by , 01-26-2011 at 12:53 PM (Hazel's Boiler Room)
      1/26/11

Finally, after 4 days, some recall worth mentioning. I hope this means my dryspell is cured.

      1- Gladiator, Redneck Style
I am standing in a line in the middle of a field with my mother and some other people, facing a crazed farmer who is talking about the Arena Games that we are about to fight in. The girl beside me mentions "respawning at one-third power." Oh good, I think to myself sarcastically, That way we can suffer painful deaths all afternoon.

The farmer introduces this enormous truck/tractor hybrid whose headlights resemble big angry eyes. The hood pops open and it's "tongue," a powerful bulldozer arm, tastes the air hungrily. "Meet Bulldozer, the tractor god!" the farmer thunders. Bulldozer picks the man up with his tongue and sits him in the control seat. "Here's a little demonstration on speed, for those of you who are thinking about running off." He drives around us in circles; it's clear that you won't be able to outrun the thing. Suddenly the games are starting, and zombies crawl up through the ground to double our problems.

Bulldozer kills my mother almost immediately. Fear pulses through my veins as I face the monstrous vehicle, but I ignore it and leap over the hood, kicking the farmer in the head. He laughs at me, saying I watch too many zombie movies, then embeds a knife into my forehead. It doesn't hurt that badly, so I continue to kick him, trying to break his neck. The knife falls from my head to the ground behind us.

Just as I'm about to deal the finishing blow, one of the farmhands (or possibly one of the other challengers) picks up the fallen knife and stabs me in the side, digging the blade across my stomach. The pain is agonizing; blood pours from my mouth as I die.

((Despite the pain and everything, this was a really fun dream!))
    9. Day One

      by , 01-21-2011 at 03:20 AM
      Day 1: Wednesday, January 19

      Pre-Sleep
-No special preparation, fell asleep directly after the 1st MILD lesson, which was excellent and very informative. While falling asleep I retained a positive outlook towards lucid dreaming and dreaming in general, and managed to sleep almost immediately.

      In-Sleep
-I am standing in my grandparent's house. It is quiet, and very dark. I walk around slowly, not wanting to disturb anyone who might be there. Upon turning a corner, I see a man sitting there in a rocking chair, absolutely silent. I can't see his body very well in the dim light, but his eyes are large and milky coloured, almost luminescent. He has no pupils. I am scared, and run. Every room I enter has another milky eyed person waiting with lifeless expressions. Some of them are people I know; some are strangers. I am finally overcome by fear or luck, and the dream fades.
    10. kitties beating up Padme

      by , 01-18-2011 at 11:14 PM
      non-dream dream lucid

dream 1: I was at my house looking out the back door (its a glass sliding door) and I noticed that my kitten, Padme (yes after Padme Amidala from Star Wars!!) was sitting around just sitting there. Suddenly, all of the other cats started attacking her, mostly biting her neck and drawing blood. She kept screeching and meowing for help, so I opened the door and grabbed her from our largest cat, who is also her father, because he looked ready to kill her; as did the others. She looked ragged and helpess and I sat her on the table. Her green/grey eyes looked at me sadly. I could almost literally feel the pain. There was red blood on her neck where her father had bitten her, and multiple scratches all over her from the others. I cleaned her off and she settled down to sleep. Then I looked back outside and next thing I knew, the cats were attacking "Sherby", our new kitty who I found in a tree a few months ago. She was meowing in agony and I kicked the cat attacking her, Padme's father and her brother "Ragz", in the side to get them to leave her alone. I then brought her inside so I could take care of them. Then I woke up.

DREAM 2 I somehow already knew that I was dreaming. I just pinched my nose and breathed to be sure. I was by the sliding glass door again and my mother walked up to me. I said to her, "Mom, we're dreaming!! Look at your hands! They're disfigured like mine, and we can breathe through pinched noses!!" She looked at me, confused then she looked at her hands, "Oh my gosh, my fingers are broke!! Are we really dreaming??" so I told her yes. She ran into our living room and she said loudly, "This is a dream, this is a dream!!" Then I think I woke up. pretty weird eh? I'm gonna ask my mom what she dreamed about last night. I'm just curious if she might have had the same dream as me. We've had similar dreams before, so it's a possibility that she may have had a similar dream.
    11. Kidnapped and Mind-fucked

      by , 01-12-2011 at 01:05 AM (Dreamjumper)

It is late at night and raining. I walk along a sidewalk, without an umbrella. The rain drenches me but I don’t care, it feels nice. There are other people walking down the street in front and behind me. A long black limousine pulls up in front of me. I see a few of the other people that walk around me get pulled into the limo. It pulls forward so that the limousine sits directly next to me. The door swings open, and I don’t have a moment to react or escape. They abduct me into the back seat. The back of the limousine opens up… it is exponentially bigger inside than it looks from outside.

Several Men in Black suits and dark sunglasses surround me and the other captives. One by one, each captive is held down by multiple men while another injects an oversized hypodermic needle deep into the center of his forehead into his third eye… the mind’s eye which rests just above and between the brow crests. The threatening Men in Black purposely show me this on a few of the captives so that I know exactly what I’m getting into. Once each person is injected they go limp and enter a catatonic state. Even though I know this and that this danger will befall me, I cannot escape.

It is my turn now, and I fight against the men with all my might. They overpower me easily, incomparable in strength. I see the giant oversized hypodermic needle come closer toward me until I feel it puncture the skin of my forehead. It stabs deep into my brain and I feel the liquid enter me as the plunger pushes down. Something is released within me and my entire body is seized with the most intense energetically buzzing. (similar to Sleep Paralysis). The electronic current flows through my system. I initially wonder if it is heroin. I am catatonic in the back of the black limousine, and it feels so beautifully euphoric that it hurts me to the core.

      10/22/10

      1- Conspiracy
I am walking around the karate place, which seems to have been expanded into a store. For some reason, headphones are blaring Within Temptation songs into my ears. I think it's rude to wear headphones in public, so I'm trying to figure out why I'm doing so. Suddenly a man taps me on the shoulders. I take the headphones off, but I still hear the music (I have it playing in real life.) I struggle to hear his question.

"Can you show me where the flats are?" he asks. As if I work here... and what the heck are flats?

I look to the front desk, where Anna (the receptionist/secretary) is standing. Pointing to her, I say, "Anna would know better than I would." He walks off.

I see my Papa leading my brother into a long hallway with many doors. Curious, I secretly follow them. They stop in a room at the end of the hallway, but I can't get close enough to see without being noticed.

When I leave the hallway, I am now in my house. I find a hole in the wall that allows me to see into the room where my brother is. He is in a room with a bunch of sickly old men, all of whom are sleeping in recliners. Weird...

*lapse in memory, but I get knocked out somehow*

"Waking up" in my bed, I am determined to find out what is going on. I had overheard Papa telling my brother something rather disturbing, but it hadn't made sense. Apparently I had been attacked... but I'm having problems recollecting the situation.

I leave my room and ask my mom what's going on. She is evasive. My brother gives me a look and says, "I'll tell you later."

My mom suddenly gets angry and says,"There is nothing secret in this house!"

But there is. A winged bringer of death has been going around killing people, and I KNOW that it involves that secret hallway somehow.

There is a cut scene of my dream father getting attacked by this thing. I fear he is dead, but when I reach him, he spits up water and sits up. Alive. We find out that the death-bringer is someone that we had trusted, who had clearly betrayed us.

This man begins attacking us. Realizing I'm dreaming, I tell my dad to run. I can handle this.

He is easy enough to fight, especially using my awesome karate moves. Maybe this will help me get better in real life... But he calls reinforcements: several zombies, a goat demon, and some other creatures. I run inside and use the screen door as both a shield and a weapon, ramming it into the zombies and then kicking them down the porch steps. After I beat the final zombie off the porch, the goat demon exclaims, "You killed her!"

      "Uh, she's a zombie."

He breaks into the house, so I run out, taking my chances with the other creatures. I fight them for a few minutes, but then a strange man wearing a backpack says he's going to open his pack, revealing "the truth." One of my allies tells me to run, so I take the advice. I don't get very far, however, before I feel someone grab ahold of my back. "Let go!" I shout. Then I realize The Truth. No longer am I running; instead, I'm GROWING out of the strange man's back, and I suddenly have spider-like legs coming out of my body.

I let out a bloodcurdling scream (even though I know I'm dreaming)
and I end up having another false awakening.

This time I'm in a hospital, and the strange backpack man is standing over me with a video camera. "How would you like to be in my new reality show?" he asks me playfully.

I scowl at him. "I'd hate it. Almost as much as I hate you."

"Now, now, I'm sure you don't mean that." I hear a threat in his words. If I don't do what he says, I'll be growing out of his back again... The thought is not pleasant.

"Fine! What do you want me to do?"

He makes a fool out of me, telling me to do all sorts of stupid and random things, like making silly faces at the camera. I am furious, but I have no choice but to comply.
    13. Harsh Winds and High Rains

I'm with someone I know. I have no clue whether it's one of my best friends or a cousin. We're standing outside my house near our Mazda Tribute (SUV) and mom calls us inside to get ready to leave. My best guess is that we're about to go take part in some sort of holiday activity. Suddenly the wind starts to blow right before we reach the steps, we join hands and spend a good minute or so trying to fight our way to the back door to no avail. I give up go for the next best thing, the SUV. It's right behind us now and so I try to fall back to the nearest car door without over shooting. I just barely latch on and crack the door open. My companion looks at me expectantly.

"If I open the door any wider, the wind will rip it off!" I yell through the loud sounds of the wind whistling by.

I do my best to swing her around and into the car and succeed after several attempts and jump in behind her, closing the door.

      Shift:

The family and my companion ride in the car, my best guess is that we're on highway 183 going right through the city of Austin. The weather is dark and grave and ahead HIGH up in the sky we can see the whole of a severe storm approaching, it's very surreal. We all discuss the marvel with great curiosity and then my companion speaks up and informs us about a news report she had seen.

"It's at an incredibly altitude and lowering rapidly as it heads south east. They say it will reach it's lowest altitude and destructive force as it enters the city of [my home town]."

All I remember is feeling distressed and worried.

      The horrible student

Once again, I was at my teacher practice. I had a group of students that I had had several times before for real. However, today a new student had joined this group. Apparently, he was called "Crayfish" due to his special haircut, which looked rather cool. Because of this it was easy to recognize him even from behind, because the haircut looked extra special at the back of his neck and was very characteristic for him. I got this short presentation of him by the dream itself as I saw him from behind. At the same time I had this really ominous feeling because of him.

When he had entered the classroom I quickly realized that he was a horrible person. He was very rude all the time, stood and walked around in the classroom without any respect whatsoever and we did not even have a lesson because of him. When he had said about the hundredth rude thing to me I could not stop myself, so I slapped his cheek. He did not like this. For a few seconds he stared darkly at me and then he quickly punched me in the stomach. I wondered if I should hit him back, but decided that it was best not to. After all, it could get really dangerous. The others just stood around in the classroom and did not dare to say or do anything. They seemed to fear "Crayfish".

Later during the same lesson, or maybe on the next lesson with this group, it got even worse. "Crayfish" held my arms and dragged me around the floor. I was frightened and could not do anything and I did not dare say anything. Still, no one else dared to say or do anything either. When he finally released me I quickly got up on my feet and ran out of the classroom, to the right in a corridor and came into a rather large, wooden room with several teachers sitting and having a coffee break or something. I was almost out of breath and desperately cried "We need HELP in there!" and added something about "Crayfish". The teachers in the room looked puzzled and even shocked. Then one of them (a woman in her thirties or fourties, I think) stepped forward and walked back with me to the classroom. In some way she managed to get him out of there by saying something. However, the lesson seemed to be over anyway.

The next day I had the same group again. Somehow I was sure that "Crayfish" would not show up today. But I was wrong. Outside the classroom several platforms (like those at a train station) passed by (or maybe it was the classroom that was moving). Soon it stopped and I could see "Crayfish" stand out there with his characteristic hairstyle and his back facing the classroom. This view felt very ominous to me once again, but even more this time and I knew that he would turn around any second and walk into the classroom...

I do not remember anything more from this dream and I believe it just faded away after I had seen this last image of his back.

      A weird way to awaken

After I had had another dream I heard a noise which made me begin to awaken. I had now awakened enough to notice that I was in my bed, but was really confused about the noise that was heard. I thought that it sounded like cinnamon in sound form... I groggily turned around several times in confusion to try and hear from which direction I heard this noise, but this was very hard to tell. Finally, I noticed a stuffed elk to the right in my bed. I realized that "they" had somehow hidden the noise inside it. I grabbed its leg, which felt like stuffed animal legs normally do. However, the stuffed elk was soon gone and I begun wondering if that noise was really my alarm clock. But I still felt confused, because I still did not recognize it. As I thought about it some more I begun to fully awaken and realized that it actually was my alarm clock...
    15. The shark with the frill fin

Me and my parents are sitting at a table in the sea, close to a harbour. Our heads and half of our upper parts of the bodies are above the surface while the rest is beneath. Suddenly, I see a fin approaching me in the water. I become thoughtful and wonder if it could really be a shark, because the fin also had a frill which made it look beautiful. It also has some kind of beautiful light on it. I reflect in wonder if it could instead be some kind of dolphin or something like that. But at the same time it felt a bit ominous when this creature started circling the table.

For a moment I become half lucid and think that the creature is what I expect it to be. I start thinking that I hope it is a dolphin. However, I still feel a bit insecure on this one and therefore ask my mom (big mistake!) if it really could be a shark.

She answers with certainty and seriousness "Oh, yes. That's a shark all right...". I sit completely still with tightened muscles. I feel my belly moving when I breathe and I wish that it would not do that. My mom tells me that the shark begins to grow more and more interested in me because I am so tense and adds that sharks are attracted to tense people. Both my parents are very calm and relaxed and do not seem worried at all about the shark or anything else. I feel frightened over what mom had just said and immediately try to relax my body. I say in a fast and desperate voice to them: "I am relaxing now, look, I am relaxing!" A creepy silence surrounds me as I hold my breath and wait. My attention is now directed towards my legs which are under the water and I really pray with all of my heart that the shark will not grab one of them and drag me down with it soon. However, I shortly begin to wake up. I am relieved over this, but at the same time I also feel a bit disappointed that I did not get to know how it all ended.

I also remember another dream from this night, which was a bit longer than the one above. However, I do not feel like writing it down since it did not feel that interesting + I do not have the energy right now. But to summarize, it included my old Chinese teacher who was in a strangely bad mood and also some of the students I have had during my teacher practice, who I for example talked to about martial arts.
