      Lucid Dream

      AWAKE DREAMING LUCID SIDENOTES

This was on a night where I wasn't actually trying to induce a lucid dream. Funny how that happens. Also this happened after I absent mindedly turned off my alarm, and I slept thirty minutes or so after I was supposed to. I had school that day. This all happened inbetween 6:00 AM and 6:31 AM
I was in my old house in the basement. Somebody I knew from school was there and I said hi. It didn't hit me as hard as it usually does but I was then lucid after meeting my friend. On impulse, I decided to start flying. It took little effort to do this. The way I did it though was by looking at the ground and gently jumping, and gravity had no effect on me anymore. I then floated up the stairs hugging my mother who was walking up the stairs, until I floated over her. I went into my living room and did a breast-stroke through the air. It was so fun. Then I remembered what I wanted to do in a lucid when I got the chance: focus on something to see if it gets really clear. So I looked at my laptop's screen. An image began to form and then it became so sharp in focus that I could even see the individual pixels on the screen. It was unbelievable. I was only soon after that it resulted in me waking up.

I emerge from one dream, the contents of which are fairly blurry... I think they involved being attacked by a helicopter and a plane while on foot, and tricking the two into clipping their wings on nearby buildings. Anyway, after I wake up I notice I'm not turning around and maintain enough presence of mind to stay still and close my eyes. I relax and let sleep come back into me, and soon enough I realize that I'm in a dream state. It's a rather formless place, but when I start to think about what I'd like to do it begins to fill with a series of pipes for acrobatics. I soon find that the pipes are too closely placed, and I can't do the wide swinging arcs that I want to. Instead I focus and jump, and end up flying through the roof of the space. I emerge into a beautiful parklike area, with a large shining lake and forest all around, and I fly for a few moments before waking.

I entered my dream in the city where I wanted to talking with my brother, we were on top of a high rise waiting for a chopper, I used my gateway to become lucid but to make sure I was I jumped off the building, I dropped fast as I fell I pushed harder to drop faster, before I hit the ground I flew, I flew hard and fast.
Since I learned how to fly in my dreams I try and push it harder and faster every time, I flew back up to the top of the helipad….lol…..my brother asked what was that?....we walked back down the stairs, I asked him if he were going to come we my friend Luis and I and get some drinks Luis was waiting for us on the 7 floor he said no…..for some reason I was dropping out of lucid so I started spinning to re enforce my surrounding but of course everything changed…..so I said ok let’s have fun I turned it into a military assult….my wife and I had to defend my home, I made it a little too challenging ….lol….my wife was killed…..so I had to defend the house myself…it was very fun I lifted a huge chunk of earth with my mind and eliminated about 60 soldiers……I opened the earth swallowing a huge armored assault ….
If I continued it would be a book…lol…I did have to spin a few time to re-enforce my lucid dream and this did change my surrounding a bit but more to what I wanted it to look like…and all 3 times that I did the spinning I performed a reality check…..i have been fooled before…lol..

This is my first dream journal post enjoy

      Non-lucid Lucid

I am in my bedroom with Libby. We have the door closed and the curtains drawn because we are waiting in fear of a witch that will come and buy my house. I am especially afraid that this witch will break through the window and come into the room. Libby and I hear the witch slowly walking down the stairs outside my room. The witch shouts, "I'm here!" and I respond, "Are you nice?". She says she is so I go out of my room and to the stairs to greet her. She is horribly disfigured and very disturbing-looking, but I have an attitude of unconditional love towards her, so she transforms into a cute old grandma that has white curly hair and an accent similar to my grandma's in real life. I become lucid after watching her transform in front of my eyes. Then Libby, the grandma and I time-jump to a courtyard. There is a building that wraps around three sides of this rectangular courtyard, and the remaining side opens up to a blue ocean with a white seashore. The courtyard has many plants and a marble floor, and there are lots of children running around. The grandma, Libby and I sit down on some stone benches and talk about the house-selling situation. After talking to them for a few minutes, I get up and walk to the other end of the courtyard to think about something, and when I come back, the grandma has transformed into a beautiful 25-year-old brunette. I walk up to her and say, "Do you want to go flying with me?" and she responds, "That is exactly what I was about to ask you!". I tell her to remind me that I'm dreaming if I forget and make sure that I don't wake up. She agrees, and then we grasp eachothers hands and shoot up into the air. We fly over the ocean, and the ocean turns into a field full of various shades of green moss. We then reach some sort of lake that has very clear water, and we are flying so low to it that our ankles downward are in the water as we skim over the surface. I say to this woman, "We got to get up higher!" because I see some strange-looking fish and I don't want them to start chomping on my feet. For some reason we are not able to get up higher. Fortunately, we reach the other side of the lake, and on the top of a bluff near the shoreline is a very large, colorful, inflatible castle with many rooms, hallways, waterslides, pools, and spigots shooting water everywhere. I fly up and land on one of the walkways of this water castle, and I notice that in place of that hot woman, there is now an Asian dude with glasses who is following me around. This Asian dude kind of looks like Tim Lim. We walk down one of the hallways of this colorful water castle and go down a water slide. This water slide drops us into a deep pool. Dan and a few other friends are in this pool also. For some reason the water is not wet. I try to use mind powers to make it wet but I do not succeed.

    5. World Reality Merging

The past two nights I've had complicated lucid dreams, that I only remember in fragments. I'm not remembering to remain motionless when I wake up, and every move I make weakens my memory of the dreams. They are very weirdly disjointed dreams that possibly mark different brain modes and rhythms. Or possibly just minor adjustments of my head while asleep?

I was in a multi-storied apartment building crossed with a community center. It had vibrant red checkered floors and lots of friendly people. I was with ex-girlfriends off and on. And I was also with a group of friends and family. At some point I was lucid and started to fly. I vaguely remember a flying Disneyland style tea cup! I was using it to fly others around with me. I also remember passing through "a rip in the dreamscape."

To my horror, I remember very little about the events leading up to the fantastic conclusion:

I was standing in front of my Mother and Ex-girlfriend. I was holding a cylindrical rod in my hands. I asked them in a somewhat smug tone: "Do you like how I merged the dream world with the real world, permanently?"

I remember they were reclined with drinks, looking very comfortable in the luxury high rise apartment I was standing in. I remember reviewing in my mind the portals that merged the "two worlds." The rod was about 1-ft long, made of fine grain wood, and had two silvery caps on each end. Similar in shape to a pipe bomb.
    6. Dead Body Museum, Flying/Falling, Camp

      Dead Body Museum
There was some type of dead body museum outside. Me and my friend Brittany and some other people were outside in a wooded area. There was a pond and in that pond where some dead people's heads. We had to use scuba gear so that we could go underwater and take a closer look at the dead people. First we had to get through a narrow plastic door underwater to get to an open, cave-like area that had the dead remains of some little girls and other people sticking out of the walls. Then we went through a second door to get to other area where there were more heads. For some reason we went into these cave-like things twice, the second time I think it was to show some other people around. But the second time we went in there and got down to the second layer, I got scared for some reason and wanted to get out. When I reached the last door to get out I kept thinking about how my air could run out soon. I think I managed to get out safely though.

      Flying/Falling
I was with my sister in our backyard. There was something that I wanted to get on the roof of a random tall house in our backyard. It was like a fuzzy brown thing. I jumped up and flew up to the roof. My mom or sister was nervous for me and didn't want me to go up there but I tried to prove them wrong. I safely made it to the top of the roof and grabbed the.. thing. But to get down, I jumped and tried to fly but ended up falling fast toward the ground and landing hard. It didn't hurt at all though.

      Camp
I was at camp with my friends Brittany and Dani. Dani got her own room in a nice white building because her mom wanted her to have her own room alone. It had like four beds in it and was really nice and big. There were some other bitchy girls there who stayed in some other big rooms in the white building. After I went to check out Dani's room, I went to the bathroom that had four mirrors and looked expensive and lavish. The other girls came in. I made fun of them by saying something like "oh hello there, I have to put on loads of makeup because I'm just so awesome and everyone loves me," then left and told Brittany what I said to them. Me and Brittany had to stay in a super cramped small bunk bed thing. That's all I remember.

    7. Piranha-Inspired Aquatic Nightmare plus Brief Lucidity in the Back of a Car

      by , 11-14-2010 at 03:48 AM
I was scuba diving with my instructor on the face of a giant wall covered in coral & plants. A stingray appeared out of no where & was pretty amazing to watch as it undulated on its way up the wall. It attacked my instructor, but not with its tail. It had two big fangs/talons that came out of the top side & really messed him up. Then it attacked me. I tried to whip it with something & caught it on the "nose". Don't remember how this one resolved or if I just woke up.

Second dream I was in the backseat of a car that was parked with the break set. The car started rolling back, then moving forward. I grabbed the wheel & drove the car around the parking lot in a circle. Once I had circled a full revolution, I was back to where I'd been before but the parking lot was different. I realized this was a dream & decided to fly. While flying I remembered I had lost lucidity last time because I closed my eyes, so I tried to make sure my eyes were open WIDE. When I did this, I opened my eyes in bed & I was instantly awake. Bummer.

      Missed dream signs:

      - Did not remember how I got to the underwater wall/scuba diving site.
      - Stingray was not anatomically correct.
      - Can't whip things underwater.
      - Cars can't move when the break is set.
    8. Feed the Homeless

by , 11-14-2010 at 03:42 AM (Hopeless Wanderings)

Had another lucid today so I thought I'd post. Don't remember all the details. Although for parts of the dream I was lucid, I just continued to let the dream guide me.

I was going somewhere in the car with my mom, dad, and sister, not sure where. We stopped at a car wash for some reason to get food.. or wash our car.. or something. I went outside for some reason, and walked past a little girl and her mother in the back of a parking lot. As I approached her, I rubbed my hand on top of my head in a circle so that she knew who I was. They were homeless, and the little girl said she was hungry. This made me feel really bad so I decided to go to the store and buy a little something for her. I tried to fly on the way to the store by jumping in the air, but couldn't seem to stay up, like usual. It was still fun though. At this point I was thinking "Oh, I know I'm dreaming but I don't care. I never want to wake up." Anyway, I went to what I thought was a grocery store but when I went inside, I saw that it was the same car wash place that I was in before. My parents and sister were there again. I picked out a bag of pretzel-like snacks and started tasting them for some reason. I then picked out a bag of cheese filled pretzels for the little girl and put them on the checkout counter, telling my mom and I was hungry even though the food wasn't for me. I realized that she would also have to buy the other pretzel-like snacks that I had tasted because I had opened the bad. Oh well, I thought. More for the little girl and her mom. I went back to them, flying on the way, but I don't think I ever got to give it to them..

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Good morning! Was super tired last night, and slept for a long time. Woke up at 4.00 and did a WBTB, but not a very long one. Although it was enough for me to become lucid!

      Sleep: 11.00

      04.00: Fragments
*I'm at this big white house. I take a look inside and it's enormous. The ceiling is very high and there are several doors, leading to rooms just in the huge hallway. I close the door and tell some guy I'm with how amazing it is. We walk for a while and end up at a cool sheet of glass, acting as an elevator. My co-worker Snusknicke is there, and he's riding it to the top, only to fall off it. He isn't hurt, and tells me it's so cool. I try to stand under it, and I don't get crushed! But when I jump on it, it's solid. Like in a game.

*A large tanker is standing at a gas station, and it has been cleaned. Some guy is complaining about the way it has been done, and tells me they have no right to do it.

04.00: WBTB: 10 minutes or less.

      10.00: Nice control MILD
I'm at work and we're laying down sewage pipes. There's a big block of concrete which the pipes are going in to. I walk away for a while and come back. Everything's almost complete, but I spot something about one of the pipes. "How are we supposed to bend that pipe without breaking it?" I ask. "Well, you can just push down on it, but we do need tennis balls" Björn tells me. I don't think much about it, but figure it's for some kind of hole in need of plugging. I walk away towards the large tennis arena.

Two guys are just about to close the metallic gates. "Wait! Don't close it yet!" I yell at them and they stop. "Hey, I need a few tennis balls. Can I have some? It's work related" They shake their heads. "Sorry... It's closed, and you can't have them for free anyways, if it's work related, you could rent them for around 10k" one of them says. I look around and spot several balls in a fence and up in a tree.
I slowly become lucid and reach out towards them with my hand. Six of them comes rushing at me at once, and the guys get nervous.

I make them spin around all of us for a while, and then line them up on the ground infront of us. I start wondering if I could do telekinesis without using my hands. The balls start bouncing around and move at my will. I forget about the guys and focus on a piece of scrap metal on the ground. I grab it with telekinesis and make it fly towards a few cars parked at a wall. I totally destroy one car with the metal, but there is absolutely no sound. I decide to try out what I've been wanting to do lately, just walking around.

I take a good look at my hand, and I notice atleast 4-5 small fingers branching off the larger ones. I then turn around to check how stable the dream is. I appear to be at some kind of dock, and it's pretty grey outside. It must have been dusk. I can see very far over the water, alot further than I can IRL and it's all very clear and vivid. I start walking down the road, with absolutely nothing in mind but keeping the dream stable. I got a very nice buzzing feeling going through my whole body. Every second I stay lucid and the dream is stable is so cool! My head starts to hurt a bit from all the concentrating but I don't mind. I walk on.

"Perhaps it's so stable because I've just taken Calea?" I wonder. There are dumpsters on each side and I feel the texture of one of them as I walk. A homeles pair appear to the right and smiles at me, but I ignore them. After a few more seconds, I must have gotten bored with just walking, and suddenly the gravity gets weaker with each step I take. Each step makes me float more and more, and soon I'm flying through the air. I spot a construction company's name but I forgot about it. I also spot a school and the name is Jach something.

I fly for a while and end up ontop of a roof. The weather is still very grey and quiet. "Haha I bet I will wake up soon"
BAM! I start to feel my body, and try to L-DEILD. My hands are feeling very numb, and I'm afraid I am cutting off the blood flow. I get a bit more awake and the feeling goes away. I concentrate for a while, and I get the same feeling back. But I never succeed in going back... I wake up with a headache. Perhaps from sleeping so much, but perhaps from the Calea. I had a headache last time I took it aswell.

      Wake up: 10.00

      Amount of sleep: 11 hours

      Food before bed: 2 x Omega-3, Applejuice
WBTB food: 1 x Calea extract pill

That's it! Feels awesome to have another lucid, and one with great control, and thinking ability! I would say it was the longest I've had in a long time, perhaps 3 minutes or more. But still awesome! I'm not sure, but I think I will do the same thing next time I have a lucid. Just walk around and keep the dream stabilized!

      Keep on dreaming, HARE BRA!

    10. Feeding Diabetic Retard & the Mystery Girl in the Bathtub

      by , 11-13-2010 at 03:44 AM
The 1st dream I remember from last night was a nightmare. There were 4 dream characters: a retarded diabetic guy, a guy who looked like me & was making fun of the 1st guy by flapping his elbows up & down, the mystery girl in the bathtub, and the BAD GUY... I don't know if he was a vampire or the devil himself, but I knew he was the one who was "behind everything" & he gave off some nasty evil vibes. For some reason the diabetic guy was going into a hypoglycemic episode & couldn't even walk/feed himself, so I had to carry him to where we found some chocolate dates, which I stuffed into his mouth. Chocolate everywhere, while the guy who looked like me was flapping his arms in a very disturbing way, making fun of the very serious situation with this diabetic guy. Once he was okay, I realized there was a bathtub behind me with the curtain drawn. I heard the rings on the rod rattle and said, "Mother?" while I pulled back the curtain. Inside in a full tub was a girl. I woke up & was very disturbed by this dream. I had to turn the lights on to write it down & was hesitant to turn them off after that.

Next dream I only recall fragments of, but I think I had a false awakening & a moment of lucidity. In this dream *I* was the bad guy... I was a vampire or had some supernatural powers. I abducted a girl and flew off with her. A bunch of people flew after me to try to catch her. While I was flying my dream got VERY vivid, I could see the colors of the trees I flew over & even the pine needles themselves. I think at this point is where I was semi-lucid/lucid & my base male desires took over... I tried to have sex with the girl I'd abducted, but closed my eyes at some point & the dream faded. I THOUGHT I woke up, but I'm not sure... it may have been a false awakening, because I *really* woke up later on.
    11. Dissolving Into Space Time

      by , 11-11-2010 at 03:57 AM
It's been awhile since I had a real lucid. Yesterday it started off with me getting a bedtime visit from my demon. There are some really beautiful memories from that lucid dream that I would love to paint if I get the chance.

Last night I was lucid most of the time, but I also forget a lot of it, due to sleeping aids and such. At one point I remember flying around searching for a friend of mine that I really wanted to see. I realized that shouting their name wasn't going to get me anywhere, so I attempted to try the linear acceleration technique to see if I could enter their dream (has worked in the past). But this time it was different. The actual process of the flight was so much more real, it felt hyperreal...and I attempted to accelerate to a speed that was as fast as I could possibly go.

I like the idea of ripping through the fabric of space time to enter another person's dream. But this time, when I hit my limit, which was at or around light speed (I think), something different happened. I didn't rip through anything and wind up in a new dreamscape...instead I felt my body...the tips of my fingers...began dissolving away...as though I was moving faster than light speed...and I was leaving molecules behind. It was so strange because it actually physically hurt. The tips of my fingers felt like they were dissolving away, or ripped off...and there was a stream of particles flowing behind them. It was happening all over my body, but my hands were out in front of me so I could see them slowing dissolving away as I reached my speed limit. I stopped accelerating because it was really painful, and I knew something was not right.

After I stopped accelerating, I just let myself float through the darkness of space and it took me a good five or ten minutes to recover. It felt like I was slowly pulling myself, my particles, back together. I was absolutely exhausted, my brain was hurting a lot, and my heart rate was up. But I couldn't wake up or move, not because of sleep paralysis, but only because I did not have the energy to.

Imagine being in a lucid dream...and realizing you don't have the energy to wake up? It was so strange, I've never experienced anything like it. I don't think I will try that technique again. Even for awhile after I woke up I didn't feel right. I was completely drained. Literally had to roll out of bed. I'm starting to wonder if I was ripping my astral body away from my physical body or something...but in a way that...was somehow bad.

Also, I noticed that while I was accelerating my brain was vibrating really strongly at the crown. The top back...I could feel those neurons firing like crazy (I guess that's what it means when you feel vibrations). So it could be connected to the crown chakra (which I think is your bodily entrance/exit point)...or to a certain area of the brain that was firing at the time.
    12. First Lucid, a vauge memory.

      by , 11-03-2010 at 02:45 AM
Ah, so I finally decided to get off my ass and start up a dream journal. I can't clearly remember a dream for today (last night?), so I thought I'd post my very first lucid, accomplished about 25 days after my first attempt via DILD.

I am walking down a street, when suddenly I get the urge to reality check. Doing so proves to me that I am, in fact, asleep. I force myself calm and rub my hands, having heard that hand-rubbing is a nice way to increase clarity. At the time, I was really interested in the concept of Dream Guides, and decided to set off to find my own. I decide to head back home, to see if perhaps my guide was there, ya'know, chilling. So I pop open my door and, holy crap the place I emerge into is my house, but turned into one big party. Yeah, weird. Flashing colored lights, blaring music, tons of people. I look around and see the crazy variety of guests, from strange pumpkins to green cyclopses to regular people. I look up and see an odd pumpkin flying near a disco ball. Strange. I yell "DREAM GUIDE! ARE YOU HERE?!". I look back down and see a familiar looking man in a blue jumpsuit. Long brown hair, blue eyes. I realize in a strange joy; It's motherfucking Russel Brand There he was. My DG. A respected comedian. I was overjoyed.

A bit of a blank here, but then it resumes.

There we where. Me and Russel, walking down a road at night. I remember him talking about the cruelty of the world, and we exchanged opinions.

      Another blank.

I seem to be back at my house, minus the party. However, it seems we're moving out, so me and Russel help out in the moving a bit. Carrying boxes, we're walking down a path that I recognized leads to my house in real life. I suddenly remember, hey I wanna fly. So I talk to my DG and he teaches me how to fly. He's very cooperative, I notice. So he gives me an odd pair of shoes, (that looked a lot like the hover boots from zelda) with some strange triangles tucked inward at the sole. The boxes seem to have vanished at this point. I kick them on, and do as Russell says and with a sound like an unseathing sword, two sharp triangles pop out of the bottom. He explains they are hover boots, and that they're great for begginers. It was such an odd feeling, like balancing on a skateboard while hovering high in the sky. It was an amazing feeling.

Sadly, the dream began to fade at that point and I promptly found myself on my bed, which a few RCs proved real. The whole ordeal lasted around 15 minutes, and was a bit foggy, but passable.

And THAT, my friends, was my very first Lucid Dream.

      THE END.

Hopefully a decent dream for tomorrow.
    13. My first lucid dream (on purpose)

      by , 11-02-2010 at 03:30 AM
On the third attempt of the night (after waking up after 2 other REM cycles and realizing I hadn't tried to do reality checks or notice dream signs) as they say "3rd time's the charm", I came to the realization that I was dreaming and in doing so had my 1st lucid dream that I had intended.

I can't remember much preceding the point when I started to lucid dream, but it had something to do with a tin roof that was covered in large mounds of pine needles. I jumped off the roof into the park (football oval). A girl through a large frisbee styled object towards me. It was a large doughnut made out of the same material that tents are (I forget the actual name). As it was coming towards me, I jumped to land on it, the same way you would hold onto a doughnut that you drag behind a boat in the water. For reasons I can't explain, I realized this was a dream. I then preceded to fly around the houses. The doughnut disappeared at some point.
I flew across the road, to what I realized was my neighbour's house (I had flown over my own house and hadn't noticed it.). I landed on the roof (the house was 2 story, even though in RL its only one), jumped down to beside the house (It became apparent that this was my neighbourhood but modified ). Then a girl noticed me. My neighbour and this girl, who just happened to be there, came looking to where I was. I took off across the road again, to another house, where my brother appeared wanting to ask me something. A shooed him away, so that I could hide from my neighbour and the girl who were looking for me. I rushed around to the back of the house and took off from the ground slowly spiraling up around the patio roof that i had gotten stuck under, and drifted over my backyard.
A man, who was supposed to be my next door neighbour, was in a US army uniform in my pool, acting as if it was normal to be there fully dresses bobbing up and down, his head submerging and bobbing out of the water (It only, now occurs to me that the man is an actor, though I do not remember his name or any movies he has been in) He questioned why I was flying, and I came up with the story that I was a ghost. Saying "why else would I be flying" feeling it necessary to explain without saying I was dreaming. I decided to continue this idea.
I flew across the road and spoke to some imagined neighbours, who invited me inside and we sat around discussing what it was like to be a ghost, to the 8 or so more people that joined us, who supposedly lived there too. I was convincing them that I was a ghost, that became solid only once in a while. Which explained why I wasn't floating through things and why I could hold things. I even managed to clap my hands properly. I kept discussing my made up situation until I woke up.
I had full control over my movements, but only some control over the surroundings.
    14. Susan Faludi flies away

(Good -- um... afternoon, everybody. On the weekdays, I usually write my dreams in the morning, on my subway ride in to work. But this morning I didn't think I remembered any dreams.

Then, sitting at work (really stressing over something, in fact), I suddenly recalled this dream. Weird.

The dream is weird. I'd say at least part of the influence on it is the fact that over the past couple days I've been reading Jack Kerouac's Book of Dreams. In one dream, Kerouac meets Dinah Shore. That dream was so charming, I think I also wanted to have a dream where I met a celebrity. So my unconscious obliged... kinda.)

Susan Faludi was out in the desert doing research on a new book she was writing. The book was similar to The Terror Dream. But this book had less to do with feminism and more to do with some general national conspiracy. I probably identified with Faludi or saw through her eyes.

Faludi had discovered whatever it was she had been trying to discover. She may now have been standing by her car in an empty road in the middle of the desert. Faludi may have slammed down the trunk or hatchback of her car with an air of finality.

She intended to go somewhere. Instead of taking her car, which now may not even have existed, she flew up into the air, possibly by means of a red and white striped parachute.

She flew away to her right, along the road. She knew that she actually needed to head along the road, but in the opposite direction. She flew over a small overpass. This overpass was a landmark telling her she was definitely going in the wrong direction.

The wind was carrying her in this direction, although she "had control" over "her power of flight." She kept telling herself that she would work up the momentum of the wind in order to get swinging around in the correct direction.

But she kept flying and flying in the wrong direction. It was now night. Faludi was in the woods. It was cold and snowing. Still flying along the highway, I/Faludi (I definitely was part of her decision making process here) saw a billboard. The billboard was on a 50-foot tall, steel column.

I knew that if I/she grabbed on to the guard rail in front of the walkway before the billboard, I/she could stop the uncontrolled flight and at least get my/her bearings. So Faludi grabbed the railing and did some kind of elastic flip onto the walkway before the billboard.

The walkway was snowy and lit by a few fluorescent flood lamps. Othewise, everything was snowy, cotton-grey dark. Some pine trees may have reached as high as the billboard.

Faludi huddled behind some weird, clear, plastic rectangle which I figured was some kind of a solar panel for powering the billboard's lights. Faludi thought she could call someone, perhaps her husband, to pick her up here. But it was just so cold, and she felt like it would take forever for someone to get here.

I had a false awakening. I was going about my "daily life" when somebody, possibly my mother, told me that Susan Faludi had died. I was really surprised and upset. I regretted the fact that I'd never gotten to meet her.

But it also seemed weird that Faludi should have died. She had always seemed like such a healthy person to me.

Somehow I saw a photo of her -- possibly on the web. The photo showed Faludi in a motorized wheelchair, like they have at the front of grocery stores, the kind that look almost like cars or scooters with baskets on the front. Faludi was overweight, with short, grey hair. She wore a white t-shirt and black slacks, both of which were sloppy and tight on her.

Again, this didn't make sense. I thought, There's no way Faludi could have changed this quickky. I began to doubt seriously whether Faludi was in fact dead.

(Just one small note on this, from November 14th. After looking at some news images, I realize that the image Susan Faludi is hiding behind in the snow is a teleprompter. I'm not sure why a teleprompter is hanging out on a billboard. And I'm not sure why I thought it was a solar panel.

But, then again, I'm still not sure why this dream involved Susan Faludi. The actions in this dream are completely the opposite of what I feel Falud's actions would be. They're more like what I think my own actions would be. So maybe the dream is saying I wish I was like Susan Faludi, but that I'm just still horribly, embarrassingly like myself. Oh, well.)

      Flapping kimono wings
Escaping some place through the window, while wearing a kimono, which doesn’t help. End up in a field and decide flying away. At first use my kimono long sleeves as wings and then realizing flapping them is not helpful and decide to just shoot myself through the air (bullet like), as I normally do - much faster, less exhausting.

      Intro to a game
Then with some group being introduced to a game. The leader is speaking Japanese but there is translation for those who wish and I choose French.

      Thinking about dreams
Sitting in almost perfect lotus position and meditating an thinking how dream practice is having “real” effects, even physically.
