I was driving to school, it was early morning. It was really cold. I took route along main road instead of my usual side path. I parked in some forest, far away from school, and then realised that it really is too far. I got back on the road and then I heard police sirens. A long police convoy blocked the road in front of me, then let me pass only for a truck to get in front of me.
I was driving my car to school. It was early morning, there was an unusually dense fog all around. I was driving carefully along a road in-between two villages. For some reason I sidetracked to a forest road and instead of driving through one village I drove all around it. I looked at the fuel meter and it was nearly empty. I wanted to take my phone and call parents to bring me some fuel, but battery of my phone was empty. Then my car turned into a lift powered by electricity. I drove some further.
I'm flying, but I'm being chased by someone (or rather something). I think my pursuer was humanoid, but definitely some kind of monster. It got close. I turned around mid-air (while continuing flight in the same direction) and tossed something in its direction to distract it or slow it down. It got even closer. I managed to squeeze out a burst of acceleration and create some distance between me and it. I recall a dark room or cellar. There was some kind of invisible (or barely visible) demon/entity in there. I was on a flight of stairs to a higher floor/ground level, backing away slowly. This one is only fragments. People were cryogenically frozen in a freezer. This had strange effects on them. An old guy was turned into a dwarf or sorts... REDACTED was affected too. I was lost in a big forest with a bunch of others. The trees were far apart, and there was plenty of light. It was possibly autumn. It's also possible we were only children (aged 10). I walked off to the right, and found a road. We followed it, but it was long, very long. It was possibly a coastal road, following the coastline. We went around a bend, and I could see many miles into the distance. The road stretched on and on, and there were snowy mountains on the other side of the road (the road was between the sea and the mountains). I thought it was pretty, but felt desperate because I was trying to find people. I didn't want to starve.
I was going away. I was on the road. Or rather, a dirt road, with trees and grasses on both sides. The left is lighter; the right is denser. The dirt road has marks of tires on it and heavy use. There's a house/store on the left side. There's a sparse conglomeration of houses on the left side. I think I visited one of them and stayed there. A little bit further down the road is a temple with a huge reclining Buddha outside. The head is closer to me. I think I joined or will join the temple.
Preface: Super busy work week. Everybody and their mother wanted some kind of deliverable this week, so I did my best to oblige. Sneezing a lot and I have been fighting a cold for the past three days. Cold meds all day but I can feel it coming. DR 1 I was driving a truck for work trip.... I'm in the car with a cute guy, someone I don't know or recognize. (His personality reminds me vaguely of someone I work with now- the cockiness, only.) We were not dating but we worked together at a different company, and he was flirting a lot.We had a third passenger, an older guy, who was just laughing at us. We were driving down a long highway, there were cornfields on one side. There was green grass, and it was a sunny day. The cute guy told me to stop at a gas station up ahead, and he made some kind of joke about buying a few things the company could pay for. I parked the car at one of the pumps and he got out. The old guy made a joke about us and I just laughed. I opened the car to get out, and as I was stepping out, I woke up.
Dream - short lucid It's night time and I'm outside of a house by a road. I look at my hands randomly and just become lucid, I test this by pushing my finger into my palm which stretches, I do this a couple times for no real reason. I look around and notice how beautiful the sky looks, the dream is really vivid and stable. There's so many stars shining really brilliantly and everything is quite crisp in detail. I try to think of a dream goal but realize I haven't actually set one down, I fight the urge to summon my ex because I don't want to enter cave-man mode. The dream loses quality and stability quite quickly and I find myself awake in bed. I think the dream was only 10-20 seconds long. I tried thinking of what dream goal I should try next, I think I may approach the dream goal of conversing with a dream character since that is a biggie in my book. I want to see how aware they are of me when I'm aware of them, or hear what random nonsense they might spout .
I was dreaming about an event that keeps happening. It's like a game where I failed a task and so I have to do it all over again. Something about being caught or something waking up. I was looking down at a map and seeing some marker that represents me or us moving on a road from west to east. We reached an area and it zoomed in to the action. We're in a dorm of sorts. I kept failing the task and waking up or being caught. I had to do it all over. I tried thinking how else I can do it where I won't fail. I felt anxious. --- Notes: - I was feeling sick. Headache and all, and my body aches due to training in Ninja Academy. It was also awfully hot. - Slept for like over 8 hours.
Morning of May 27, 2015. Wednesday. My dream becomes a very formal scenario in mood and awareness. I am not sure of the time. It may be late night or very early morning or probably a liminal “twilight” setting relating to my partial lucidity (where darkness but with a clearer awareness and augmented sense of touch often occur). I am walking on the right side of the road in an unknown location, which seems more like a back road at times. There is a tall chain-link fence almost immediately to my right, allowing only about two feet or less space to walk on the grass on the side of the road. I do not really notice any buildings. Up ahead, I see a semitrailer truck approaching. The driver is mostly in shadow (or “is” a shadow - though I discern what may be a red and black plaid shirt). As I am semi-lucid, I would normally “know” that the shadow was my conscious mind. However, here, I get the strange impression that he is another dreamer that I could actually meet - and in fact, even presume his identity to an extent of relating him to an actual dream journalist. The semitrailer truck is moving fairly slowly, it seems, as if the driver is perhaps unfamiliar with the area (though this is not certain - it may be his regular route and he is just being cautious). I start contemplating what I am going to do. I decide that I will pick up my pace a bit and meet with the driver. The driver is to the right (from my perspective) and I am not sure he notices me though his headlights seem to be working normally. There remains a problematic element, though not fully prospective, in that the side of the road does not have much room for me to traverse, so the truck and I will not have much room to spare as we pass each other when it approaches (assuming the driver does not stop to acknowledge me or even converse). The truck does go just past the edge of the road at times (I am mostly walking on the edge of the road rather than the grass), though this is not due to lazy driving but seems to be a dream-rendered situation directly related to my thinking about the potential meeting or choosing to dodge the truck instead (as if I am directly aware of the dream-making mechanism of my mind). After all, I do not want to be run down (though this is not that strong a concern, though I do not focus on going to the left to possibly avoid going closer to it). I continue to watch the truck carefully to see if it goes too far to my right, which would then block me off with nowhere to go (because of the high chain-link fence to my right, which continues as far as I can see other than the break at the intersection I am approaching, which I do not consider turning off at). I sense the meeting will be very formal and brief but with positive results. I start walking faster, almost running, but the approaching truck seems about the same distance away that it was minutes before. I still am not quite sure if there is enough room for me to clear the front of the cab or be hit though the sense of danger is decreased due to my growing lucidity. As the truck approaches, my lucidity continues to increase and I become slightly more aware that the “shadow driver” is my conscious mind and that this may be a typical example of “shadow play” - a temporary scenario that occurs at apex lucidity. However, I am still intent on continuing my direction and meeting with the driver, as there is still a degree of uncertainty over who the driver actually is. Instead, when I reach the truck, I reach the beginning of the waking process and slowly wake at about the point I am adjacent to the driver’s door on the road’s edge, thus “meeting” my conscious self in the waking process. The shadow/driver was a metaphorical form of my conscious mind “driving” the dream, with the “cargo” (in the semitrailer) being the implied intent or foundation (“building blocks”) of a potential apex level of lucidity (which comes through various means - such as crawling through a window or “shadow play”). This was a missed opportunity, I suppose, though I have noticed that apex lucidity often comes when a person has already gotten more than enough sleep. The engine of the truck is also a representation of the conscious mind as within the life force of the real body. This dream vaguely reminds me of a dream from 1991 titled “Motorcycle Jump”, where the shadowy motorcyclist also was my conscious mind though this time trying to wake up after sleeping for too long by managing to make the motorcycle rise up and jump through a very small window in the bathroom (a play on “I have to go” as in “I have to wake up now”).
I was in a mall at night. I was in the entryway. I sensed that someone or something is after me. I started to run away. I went to the back part of the mall, and it's no longer night. It's daytime. The place just opened, and there's a small crowd gathering during the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which concluded just as I arrived. I vaulted over an obstacle and jumped around. The place looked like a mini-forest and obstacle course. I passed by (I was moving around all the time) a lot of net and adventure-like structures. I was then kong-running (quadrupedal) along the road at night. It's a small two-way(?) road. I was running on the road itself, so I moved to the side (right) to avoid vehicles. I got tired and had to pause but worried that whatever was chasing me would catch up. I ended up in some dorm or mini-mall. It was dark inside but daytime. I was hiding. I saw some people run. I also ran and jumped up a fence with spikes. Daytime. That's where the thing chasing me caught me. It turned out to be a devil. It wanted to kill me or possess me for some reason. I didn't feel fear but I felt so sad that I cried hard. I said something like I don't fear dying but I dislike the fact that I will no longer know/hear/learn of stories. I told the devil that I will willingly die if it will tell me a story. He told me a story, I think, but I cannot recall. When it was time to die, I complained at first that the story wasn't done yet. He gave me some sort of ice-pick-looking knife with a flat and thick black handle. I was about to pierce my chest with it when the devil disappeared, cursing (or shouting?). I was in the living room in our hometown. I saw that the VHS tape got entangled. I got frustrated that it happened. My sister was there and asked her if she played that before and she said yes. I told her the last part got entangled. --- Notes: - Slept at around 2 a.m., woke up at 8 a.m. due to alarm, slept, woke up at 11 a.m. - Drank milk before sleeping - Slept listening to Sam Harris' 26-minute meditation audio

Morning of April 10, 2015. Friday. This was a very long meandering dream without much plot continuity, though somewhat fun all in all. Though it is not lucid, I am still aware of making most of it via some sort of background focus, which is probably why it goes a bit “haywire” as dreams tend to do when my own thoughts shift, sometimes with transient expectancy of the dream itself. Since childhood, a certain kind of dream I have several times a year relates to an older time period being altered by anachronistic features (typically caused by my thoughts shifting or becoming more aware while making a dream), though this one changes in somewhat of a humorous unexpected way regarding my in-dream role and character. It starts out with some sort of experiment in an unknown indoor location. A portal is opened after several other insignificant events and conversations occur. I have a desire to go through this portal, which is like a glimmering two-dimensional doorway or wavering plane that is just a bit taller than I am. Someone in unusual plaid pants goes through before me, but after a short time, he is seen to be going into a television that is barely big enough for his waist to clear (probably influenced by a similar movie scene relating to being “stuck”, in “Skinny and Fatty” from 1958 and “Housebound” from 2014), though he manages to go through into the implied alternate world or time. After this, my dream shifts to a western setting, similar to the set of “Gunsmoke”, and it is seemingly the 1800s, possibly the 1880s, because I believe it is mentioned at least once. There does not seem to be any drama other than a horse having a problem with his front right foot. He goes and rests in the corner of a barn and there is something about being fed a special food to accelerate healing though this scenario becomes odd as he eventually seems to have human-like toes, which will make it difficult to put on a horseshoe. I fly around in several different positions (including sideways) about ten feet from the ground for some time, including in and out of a hayloft from the outside. At one point, I seem to be in an old saloon (with batwing doors) and I notice my wife, though we apparently have not met yet. I embrace her and think about getting married at some future point (even though I already am in reality). She seems to have, as becoming Miss Universe, been getting ready to be in a remake of “Valley of the Dolls, though as some attempt at a "video noir” television broadcast (which also seems related to the minimal western sets) though I know little about video production as such. I am mostly in a very cheerful mood, though. As I walk into a different area, I notice my father sitting on a couch with several other people around in a semi-dark room. He is playing an accordion and I feel a strong sense of nostalgia. He seems to recognize me though is younger and has not had me as a son yet. We talk for a fair amount of time, but his voice sounds completely different as well as altered by some sort of electronic device. His entire eyes also glow a bright reflective silver at one point, shining in the otherwise semi-dark room. (For some reason, I do not find this unusual or off-putting even though it is a bit eerie.) I tell him that I am his son, or rather “will be” his son in the future. There are at least seven or eight longer exchanges, but I do not recall all of it. I notice a man who may be a doctor who is sitting at an antique desk. I ask him what year it is to confirm the old west scenes from earlier in my dream. He says, very slowly (almost as if a part of me is deciding what to make him say) 19… (and at this point I am surprised, as it is not 18…) …78. It is 1978, supposedly. He continues by saying that it is July 24, 1978. (I am not sure of the significance of this in context to my dream, though this was shortly after I moved back to Wisconsin.) I think about the people I had met earlier and wonder why this “old western town” exists during this time period (and for some reason I do not reflect upon it as possibly being a movie set), so I go outside to explore again. It seems to be around afternoon and everything is bright, clear, and realistically detailed. In probably the most vivid scene, I end up going down a long dusty road (through an otherwise featureless field of grass about a foot high) that is covered with old broken pieces of concrete as the surface (something I have never seen in real life). Some of the pieces are as big as my fist. I notice a few modern buildings in the far distance. I eventually decide to walk back after walking perhaps the distance of four city blocks. I see a car moving in the distance on a different (proper) road. I clearly think to myself how this road would not be suitable for cars (due to how very bumpy it would be as well as having sharp bits of concrete causing problems for the tires) even though it is likely used (or maybe will be used) as such at times. From here, I return to the isolated town with the intent to explore some more. Memory is a mysterious thing. Relative to the date mentioned in my dream (July 24th, 1978) the 1978 Miss Universe pageant was broadcast live on the in-dream referenced date. “Valley of the Dolls” was also aired. There was also an article in the newspaper we got for that date titled “Those ‘Perry Mason’ Reruns Keep Video Noir Genre Alive”. Additionally, I have a dream journal entry titled “Valley of the Dull” (from April 9, 1978 - my wedding anniversary, though long before I was married on April 9, 1994) where I had written about falling asleep while watching it, the audio and half-awake partly discerned visuals at times integrating with my dream. Memory is a very unusual, though vast precise “storehouse” at times.
Non-lucid, Lucid, Comments .../I have to take my flight back to my current city. I'm with my brother and I'm telling him how different it is when I fly alone. There's one minute left before the plane takes off and I'm still in the waiting room when I tell him if I were with my wife she'd be stressed like hell. I see the plane is about to take off and thinking how are they doing with my package. It doesn't matter, I know I'm inside that plane before it takes off. There's a jump back in the sequence of the dream time and get back to something about a disgusting guy who I ended up murdering for the second time. I have a knife covered in blood in one hand and a tea spoon in the other. I feel the urge to get rid off both of them but I must be careful because of I start to see police officers everywhere. I clean the blood from the blade with my tongue, I don't want to use anything else because of it may let clues. I hide the knife under the sleeve of my jacket and the spoon in the pocket. I get inside a sort of pond under a roof. The water seems to be deep and dark enough in some places. I throw the spoon there taking care that no one sees it. I see an adult woman sniffing around. I think she may be a detective or some. I hesitate to throw the knife. I think I must find a better place to get rid off it. I see some officers started to dig on some of the ground near the pond. Definitively I want get out of here but I don't want to call their attention. I still feel the blade with my arm. I wonder if the sleeve is funny shaped because of the knife. I follow a guy who did something similar but he doesn't seem to be worried at all. He tells he got rid off the knife near his neighborhood which is far away. We are drinking wine and vodka. I'm drinking my bottle of vodka while I'm still thinking about a place where I could leave the knife when a thought flashes in my head: "Hopefully when I wake up all of this stress will be over". I realize what it means and feel slightly stupid for the waste of time. I still have the knife in my hand but now I don't care about where I could let it. I finish my bottle and let it on the floor. A dwarf starts to follow me. I get into a store and stab him with the knife. I hear some DC's screaming. I don't care and let the knife in his back. I go out of the store thinking about what could I do now? I remember there are some lucid dares. I remember the dare about the alien invasion! I wonder how could I do it. I realize there was a weird mountain in the dreamscape which I didn't pay much attention. It's like a pyramid covered with pines. Now I see it looks like a huge Christmas tree. I think it could be the alien mothership. Then I wonder how could I accomplish the dare. I think what about a telepathic communication? I look in the back of my thoughts to find the invasion was already taking place but we humans don't have to realize about it. I "feel" they are infiltrating their people already. I send the message to stop it. Now? How could I know they have already stop it? I think this task requires a lot of imagination and I don't feel I have enough time to see a proper "war" taking place. I think I may give a try to another task when I see an athletic guy jogging on the road I'm about to walk. He could be one of the aliens I think! He keep on jogging. What was the other task? Now I remember, it sounds easier to perform! "Be a good person with the duck of the smile" (No idea where this one came from). I start walking on the road towards a forest when the whole dream starts fading out/...

After messing around with magnets, and having a mixed drink, I'm driving down the street with my step brother. There's no one on the road, and we're cruising along at around 40 mph. We both spot something coming right at us up ahead in the road. It's moving fast. I slow down in case it hits us. Bigger than our car, it is a massive wolf. The head of which is a good 5 ft long, and really really big. He bares his fangs at us, and turns his head as he runs past us along the road in the opposite lane. Feeling very vulnerable, even in the car, the road gets too snowy to drive on, so I have to get out and walk if I want to make it home. It also gets really steep. Apparently, I'm crossing the continental divide over the Rocky Mountains to get to some town in Colorado. But man is this steep, and with snow up to my chest, it's really hard to push through it. I see a few more of these beastly wolves all around me, just off the side of the road, watching me slowly make my way up the road. I get the feeling that they are guiding me, and probably won't eat me. Just probably though, so I keep my eyes on them. Luckily, I have a towel with me, so I use it to lay on, pushing the snow down to make it easier to wade through. Since this might take me a while, I put on my hat and mittens that were in my pockets this whole time. The wolves watch me to do. I nearly lose sight of the road with so much snow, but see a massive wolf laying down in the snow ahead of me, so I walk toward it. Or to my death, but it's not like I can out run them anyway. To my left I see a few snow mobiles and four wheelers abandoned in the snow, just lightly dusted with fresh snowfall, but still with the keys in the ignition. Several of them are still running. I think about stealing one, but decide against it. I bet whoever owns them would be pissed to come back and find it gone. So I walk past them. The road disappears, and I am looking over a 300 ft cliff. But in actuality, I'm just standing on some snow that is packed into the branches of a huge tree with snowmobiles stuck in it. Before I get the chance to even think about how this situation might have happened, unusual as it is, I feel the snow start to give way. I run toward the tree and grab onto the trunk as the snow and machines fall to the ground far below. I hear the tree start to crack apart too, so I grab a falling branch and swing down on it to the midway point of the tree. I feel incredibly lucky to have survived that, and now bear hug the trunk to slow my decent as I slide straight down the icy tree. Landing hard in the snow, the tree starts to tip over toward me. WTF! I run super fast and dodge it while also noticing some people on the opposite side. I decide to see if they need any help, but I'm going really fast the opposite direction, so I drag my feet stopping like a hockey player, just with a 40 ft slide. Just in time though. As I stop, I notice a fence around the whole area where the tree fell, on the outside of which are a lot of those massive wolves. Just a whole lot more menacing and vicious looking than before. Growling, barking, and drooling, they give me the deathliest stares I've ever gotten from an animal. I bet if I had crossed that fence I would've been killed. Luckily there is a small town here that has some sort of magical wolf boundary or truce. Seems like a small town from Alaska.
"Anaken"? An event somewhere. It was a grass area. A familiar place but not sure where. Manila? We were looking for a jeep. It's night, so I'm worried I might get lost or end up in a bad place. I imagined a place along the road that's dark. There are trees on both sides. I decided to tag along with others. I think Amben and Sacha were there. It's... dawn? Or late afternoon? We were walking near a plaza area. There are stuff for sale. Grey colors, dim, hazy. --- Notes: - It was clearer when I woke up but I keep going back to bed to sleep some more. - I slept around 11 p.m. Woke up at around 10 a.m., but I kept going back to sleep before that. - Slept to Kelly McGonigal's default mode meditation.
I was lying down on a sofa in the living room of our house in our hometown, the place where I also had a lucid dream. I hear poetry/music. It was my voice. It was rhyming. The words were clear but I worried I won't be able to remember when I wake up. I tried to semi-wakeup to check if I was really dreaming or if it was music. I realized I was dreaming. I tried to remember but got worried, and the last two lines became unclear. The voice was clear but the words weren't. It then suddenly stopped. I got stuck in the dream lying on my left. I can't see anything but a pattern of sorts. A clothing pattern? A corner? I heard a voice asking me what I was doing with my eyes. It was my sister. I told her I'm dreaming right now so this happens. I knew I was dreaming so I calmly waited out the vision impairment problem. It cleared up but I "woke up" in another dream. I was in some place. A mall? It was night. I played a game or a few games at the arcade. (reminiscent of the first scene in Animorphs book series) I played some fighting games. Somehow, it affected reality. I was on the road. I was inside a car. I saw a u-turn ahead, although I think I heard myself or someone else say it's a circle. There's a superhighway above us. All the cars ahead are going our direction including those that are supposed to be on our lane, which caused a traffic problem. Notes: - Slept at around 2 p.m., woke up at around 3:30 p.m. - No alarm - Listened to Kelly McGonigal's default mode meditation, fell asleep in the middle, woke up with it finished already although I thought I didn't fall asleep - The visual meditation might not be a good idea for dream recall and lucid dreaming...
The word "Bathor." Probably reference to "Hathor." A fight with some people. Unclear. I was at home. Darkish but visible. I was supposed to join a marathon or some kind of running event, but I am in a rush. I was looking for stuff (socks?). My sister was there. I think she was supposed to join me. There was a nosy kid there, annoying but somehow friendly and familiar. He gave me a phone/mp3 player. I was supposed to go to the bathroom but the first bathroom was being used. The next bathroom was about to be used by the kid. I ended up in the room next to it and just told the kid to hurry up. Yellow/Reddish color. The doors are open. The rooms are connected by doors and they each have a door to the corridor/hallway. I went out the hallway, and there's a rail right in front. I was on the second floor. I teleported on the ground floor and used the bathroom there. Blueish color. Just as I was about to close the door, Rob almost walked in. He said something incoherent, I think about using the other bathrooms. I said something about the ruined lock of this bathroom. I needed to take a bath before running. I was climbing up the stairs inside what felt like a lighthouse. I reached the top level. It was grey outside. Rainy. It was night or almost night but the surroundings are still visible. I'm on the railroad tracks that are still being built. Something about a bullet train in the country. One of the guys there (I think we are 4 total) said that the width might be too small. I looked at the tracks and some just criss-cross. As I watched, a small bullet-shaped train ran along one of the tracks. I had the idea that this was the future in our country. I was on the road riding a jeep. I was thinking of going to... Cubao? Somehow, I ended up on the road along Quezon Ave. (or somewhere out of the way). I missed a turn. On the road, I saw a monkey-looking creature attack a lion. I felt excited. I watched as the monkey creature knocked out the lion and dragged it back somewhere on the side of the road. A house? A scuplture area. The jeep was high enough that I can see over the walls. I saw a big sundial(?) on the ground. Then I saw the monkey creature walk with a few other monkey creatures take their position near the walls and turn to stone. A thought came to mind about Lico talking about a practitioner near along this road. --- NOTES: - I went to slept listening to the Dream Lotus by LaBerge. - When it finished, it played one of Sam Harris' meditation audio. I had to wake up and turn it off and play the latter part of the Dream Lotus. - Went back to focusing on the lotus light. - After a while, I felt aware of my body but not quite there. I didn't know what to do to jump into the dream. - I decided to just hold my breath (not sure if after I breathed out or after I breathed in). - I felt the powerful tingly sensation. I knew I was in the dream. - I slept at around 5:30 p.m., set alarm to 1.5 hours.
