    2. The Ambush

      by , 11-21-2011 at 04:18 PM
Setting: Cabin house, late in the night, with a small group of soldiers. Out in the wilderness.

Experience: I was in the living room with a small group of army men and women. I go to the bathroom and look out the window and see a guy with an m16 aiming it at the house, that obviously meant one thing, “They’re here!!” I yell at the army soldiers and they draw their guns, turn the lights off and take cover. I do not have a gun so I just take cover, and after what seemed like an eternity, the 5 minute suspense was broken by a storm of bullets that shook the whole house. Every wall of the room was being destroyed by the bullets of the dozens of enemy soldiers outside. The whole group died in that instant and the firing ceased. I did not receive a wound from this attack. As I rose, an army woman, on the ground, bleeding from fatal bullet wounds to the stomach, grabbed me by the pant leg and muttered out with bloody gurgled words, “run! You have to run!” Taking heed of her last, dying words, I take a peek through the shattered windows of the room and watch in horror as dozens of enemy reinforcements drive in with tanks and cars. No time to think, I hear the sound of enemy footsteps breaking down the front door and shattering windows in the other rooms and making their way down the hall toward my location, so I grabbed the nearest hand gun to me and rushed my way out of the back door into the hell that waits outside[wake]

    5. Beach House

      by , 11-21-2011 at 03:36 PM
I remember two dreams from last night plus the emotional ghost of another one. You know when you know you had a dream and when you try and remember it you think "that was a nice dream, but I have no idea WTF it was about", Its that. The first dream I had I was with a friend of mine and we were going to his beach house with a few other people. His mom was driving for some reason. I was in the front seat and we were taking back roads. We constantly had to stop to avoid running over dogs who were all chasing squirrels. When we got there I asked his mom why she had seemed so mad at me. She said she wasn't mad, my pants were inside out and It was aggravating her. I turned my pants right-side out and she was happy. We went inside and I woke up, I was able to catch the awakening in like 2 seconds but I had already shifted my body position so the DEILD didn't work. When I woke up in the morning I remembered a fragment of another dream in which I was at a wrestling tournament. I was talking to someone and I had a small entourage. I was either consoling the person or giving them advice. My dad thought I was still sleeping when I was writing in my dream journal so he banged on the door really loud for an unnecessary amount of time (akin to a military wake up) and it ran the rest of the dream out of my head.
    6. The Sad Old Woman

      by , 11-21-2011 at 03:32 PM (Krista's Dream Journal)
      Dream - Lucid

I was in a room, I think I was asleep, or supposed to be. I think it was pretty messy. In the room with me was a very old woman, probably in her late 80’s to early 90’s, and she was very sad. She had a small pallet on the floor to sleep on, just a bunch of blankets and such. When I talked to her, she barely had any life in her. She was so old and weary, she just wanted to die. At the same time, I think she was afraid to die. Mostly though, she just wanted to be done on this Earth.

I went somewhere and came back, and she was talked to a younger man; a doctor. She seemed to perk up a little bit as they talked.

When I approached her again after the doctor had left, she seemed much happier; there was more life in her eyes now, and she was smiling. She explained to me what the doctor had told her; it had something to do with her not living much longer, but it was ok that she was still alive now. He had somehow gotten through to her. I was glad to see her happy.
    7. housing mall hallucination

      by , 11-21-2011 at 02:39 PM
      Good morning, everybody.

      Dream #1

It was night. I was riding in a car with a group of people. I sat in the backseat, on the passenger side. We were driving through a neighborhood full of buildings that looked kind of like houses, but were more like apartments. They were thin and tall, with three or four floors. Each floor was like its own apartment.

We drove past blocks and blocks of these houses. We were also driving really fast, passing all the houses at an incredible rate. We went up and down hills. Some of the hills we passed over seemed to have these house-like apartments set into them.

As we passed the side of one of these buildings, a woman, either in my head or in the car, told some weird story about how she'd accidentally dialed 911 on her phone and then left the phone alone. The girl was some kind of hot girl, and she lived with a couple other hot girls.

Apparently all the girls thought they were going to get in trouble. But they also thought the whole thing had been some kind of prank that another girl had played on them.

We now blasted through a neighborhood full of these houses. But as we did, we seemed to lift up onto a ramp. It lifted us over what looked like two or three different levels of these blocks of tall, thin house-apartments.

As we drove along, the levels of housing blocks began to appear more like floors in a gigantic shopping mall. It was like we were driving along a balcony walkway in the mall, one that took us across the center of the open space made by the balconies projecting out from the walls.

I saw all of this as if I were positioned backward in the car. But soon it was like I was in the front of the front seat, looking back beyond the people in the front and back seats. Then it was like the car we'd been in was gone. The people who'd been in the car were probably also gone now.

I could see all the way down to the first floor of the mall. I saw that the mall's floorplan was built with a circle at its center. From this circle, the mall branched off into four separate shopping areas. They must have been corridors full of stores. But all I could see was that the areas each began with one huge store.

The back section, which was, apparently, where we'd come from, was green. The sections to the left and right were blue and yellow -- maybe yellow on my right and blue on my left. I'm not sure. And I don't know what the color of the front section was.

I was now up on some high floor in the mall, probably standing out at the top of the escalators and in front of a map and information sign.

A man or woman stood with me. He or she was tall with grey hair. He or she seemed kind of intelligent, probably liberal.

The person asked me something like would I like him or her to take me around the mall. I said no. I didn't have much time to spend in the mall, anyway, and I already had a plan for how I was going to do it.

I said that I had come from the green area. I knew that each section of the mall was humongous, enough for one day's worth of exploration. I said I was going to head back to the green area and spend a little time there. Then I'd look for the exit and, apparently, find the car I'd driven here in the parking lot.

The person may possibly have said that was fine. The person was now gone.

I turned around and walked toward the front area. I walked into some big, dim room. The room was empty, and it was barely lit with an almost amber-colored light. It was shaped kind of like a wide, shallow seashell. The walls were a dark, polished, black material.

There were quite a few people in the room. But we were all quiet and calm. An Asian woman's voice came on over some speakers. The woman began informing us that everything was about to begin.

Apparently we all, even I, knew what to do. We walked to the edge of the room, where the carpet stepped up toward the wall, forming something like a kneeling area, like for communion at church. We all knelt down.

The woman told us something about breathing in a substance which would cause hallucinations. The hallucinations weren't caused, the woman said, by the chemical. Rather, the chemicals we'd breathe in would trigger the chemical "mercaptan" (???) in our brains. This would create hallucinations.

As we breathed in the substance we would have to think of some famous person we wanted to see. We would hallucinate that person, but the person would also do something like materialize, be real.

We all now put plastic bags over our mouths and, probably, noses. The bags were weaker than grocery bags. But they were all about half-inflated with something. Even when the air inside the bag was breathed in, the bag remained half-inflated. I tried to figure out how it worked. But I couldn't.

I breathed the air in. I could smell a trace of something, which I assumed was the drug. The famous person I wanted to see was the 17th century English poet Abraham Cowley. So I focused on him.

At some point the back wall had disappeared, revealing another room like the room I was in. The room was completely empty.

But I wasn't having any hallucinations about Abraham Cowley. I figured this whole thing probably didn't work after all, anyway. I pulled the bag down from my face.

I know got a bit of a heavy bump from someone on my right side. I looked over -- it was now like I was sitting on a stool at a bar. All the people were sitting at the bar. And the wall seemed to be back.

The person to my right was standing. It was the person who had been standing with me near the information map. I now knew that this person was a man. But he was now done up completely like a woman. The reason he'd left before was so he could get all done up.

He didn't look bad. He was probably in his fifties, and he dressed like a liberal woman in her fifties. He wore jeans and a black, ribbed, turtleneck sweater. He had his short, grey hair done in a feminine fashion. He wore a lot of foundation makeup, which I thought was weird. But he didn't look bad.

Still, I was kind of embarrassed that the guy had come to hang out with me. I wondered if, wherever we went in the mall, the people around us would think I was going out on a date with this guy. I didn't want anybody to think that.

      (Shallow...)

The person spoke about something in a relaxed but kind of loud voice. As the person spoke I felt a bit more relaxed. It seemed like if we just spoke about things that didn't have to do with sexuality, I wouldn't have to worry about what people would think of me for walking around with the person.

Well, before I finish that sentence, I'm going to write down the dreams I had.

      1. Our rabbit ended up being a girl and it got pregnant.

      2. I was at school in Science class and we had to buy things or something like that.

      Now... to finish that sentence....
I think that I'm in the middle of a dream right before I wake up because when I got up I just was thinking about one specific thing (lol no need for me to let you all know what it was about) that seemed in the middle of a story-line. I didn't remember what I'd dreamed, though. I don't know where else the idea that popped into my head may have come from.

      ^Did that make any sense?

    9. Getting home

      by , 11-21-2011 at 12:01 PM
I was coming home from some festival thing or something that was a field trip with my school. A classmate of mine, Jacob, was driving the car which looked like it was probably from the 90s or something. We got to his house and he told me to be super quiet because apparently we were sneaking in so his parents wouldn't here for I don't know what reason. The house was a combination of houses that I've been to and no Jacobs. His parents heard us and saw us but they looked like someone else though they acted and sounded like them. I am unable to remember anything after that.

    11. More Confusing Fragments

      7/14/2011
I am sitting in a special advanced science class, even though I don't have the prerequisites. I talk to the teacher. Then I wander the halls. Something about being smart and helping with computers.

There's an inn. It upgrades? This feels a bit like Legend of the Green Dragon. I have pot, and I just leave it lying out because I don't care about it much. Eventually, I realize this is a bad idea and look all over for a good hiding spot.

There's a bus with a guy on a motorcycle guarding it, possibly a cop.

A lady at the inn who had a necklace. She writes a forum post about why she is so unhappy. Her husband didn't like something. She is fat now. Her husband didn't want the thing she'd always wanted. Something about rats.

    12. Nonsense Fragments

      7/13/2011
I'm doing laundry. I had to soak everything for 15 minutes, then take it out. I was thinking of hanging everything up to dry.

A disabled girl is waiting for the bus. A different bus than usual comes, and there is some confusion.

I'm worrying about getting the laundry done right.

Something about a van, an apartment, my brother M.

I let the laundry soak in a cloth laundry basket. Then I take it all out and pour the water out.

Something about an adventure or mission.

    13. Looking for Clues to Open the Safe

      by , 11-21-2011 at 05:04 AM
      7/12/2011
I'm trying to figure out the combination to a safe. My dad says no one has ever solved it. I don't believe him. I look for clues. I'm in some sort of hotel or resort. I go through each floor, looking for clues.

The companion with long blond hair isn't compatible with this doctor (Dr. Who stuff). They are too similar. She mostly says 'yes' all the time.

I'm in a bathroom, about to use it, but I hear a noise. There's a gap in the wall behind the toilet. I see someone's boots. It turns out to be a little girl, hiding in the tunnels in the wall. I help pull her out, being careful she doesn't touch the blue toilet water (it's one of those chemical toilets). There are tiny red bugs underneath the toilet seat. I should squish them, but i don't want to touch them.

In bed, I see pests and freak out. There's a tiny mouse, no bigger than the end of my thumb. I blow it away. There are bugs or spiders. Little red ones hiding under the pillow.

There are a group of people up to no good. Something is throw out of a window when the police come to search. I scramble to get it. It's the second clue for the safe.
    14. Shopping and a WILD

      by , 11-21-2011 at 04:50 AM
      7/11/2011
I'm shopping with my brother D to get a watergun. I get a flashlight instead. I also find a magazine with an article about a transgender person who wears an outfit that looks like Guy's swinsuit costume (from Tales of the Abyss). D and I carry stuff from the shopping cart to the checkout. I realize I forgot the magazine and go back for it, but the next person starts checking out before I get back, and I have to wait. I realize the magazine I'm holding is some cheap thing that doesn't even have any pages. I drop it on the floor and leave.

I'm shopping at a different store. I see a cute green scarf and try it on. It's got something weird at one end. Staff lady tells me it's a hood. I tell her I'm looking for something more masculine.

At the front of the store, a staff guy asks us to play poker. It's $3 ante. I get dealt three aces, but D bets a lot of money (I see 10's and 20's). I am pretty sure I could win, but I do NOT want to gamble that much. I fold, very annoyed. The other guy matches. They both have a pair of fives. D wins because of his other cards. I am VERY annoyed.

There was something about a kid and a bridge and a mafia type guy, but I don't remember.

I felt quite sleepy after waking, and when I noticed I was drifting back to sleep, I let it happen, deciding to try a WILD.

I'm lying in bed, unable to move. I see vivid images of the room around me. At one point I am rotating (or the world is). I 'hit' the furniture and go right through. The room around me changes several times. One time, it was my grandparent's house. I saw J playing with his dog on the couch. They played tug of war with a potato. One room had a huge fireplace.

I'm finally able to move. I'm floating. I drift down the hall. I try going through a bit of wall, but it doesn't quite work. I try spinning a few times.

I'm playing a game like Commander Keen. I go to an area and press a lever. Then I do the first area over again and there are lots of monsters. I barely get through. I am using a playstation controller and can't figure out the button to fire the gun. When I do figure it out, it's awkwardly far from the jump button.

I'm floating over several buildings and a mountain vista. One building looks almost castle-like, but not enough to be cool. I see Jade and Tear (from Tales of the Abyss) in the parking lot. Past the mountain, the view is fuzzy and indistinct. I float up to the stars. It's not that vivid.

Eventually I decide to wake up, because it feels like I am in SP again, only this time there is pressure on my upper arms and abdomen. It's uncomfortable.

The Commander Keen scene might be out of order. There was a music playing during parts or most of the dream, mostly Japanese pop.

      11/19/2011:

      All that I can remember:

      - Never went lucid
      - Went to a soccer game, felt like the field was across the street from my house because I parked outside with the thought "wow, I'm home, oooh there's a soccer game across the street, i'll go to it."
      - The soccer game was packed, mostly with middle-aged, wealthy people sitting in oddly-shaped white chairs. It was incredibly rainy and cold, I tried putting a jacket on only to realize it was somehow soaked already
      - I went to sit down at the soccer game, could feel people behind me staring at me so I moved, watched some of the game and phased into another dream.

Dream #2: -Was in some sort of house, no known location, with a bunch of random celebrities
      - The only celebrity I can remember talking to was the actor Josh Holloway who played Sawyer on Lost, got a picture with him
      - I remember hearing multiple plane crashes outside of the house, one crashed directly into the house though for some reason it was inconsequential to me and other partygoers.
