    1. School/Prison

This one's from yesterday. Note: I've had a VERY similar dream before, and as I went through this dream, I remembered the last one. The setting was the same. I think this one fluctuated from lucid to non-lucid.

I'm in a prison, as an inmate, but this prison's more like some kind of highschool (I don't know why I keep getting highschool dreams, it was years ago ). I recall the last dream (within this one) that I escaped during a riot/party from an enclosed outside area. There are several different keys. In this dream, I'm an underclassman and the seniors accept me as their own (I don't think they know what grade/level I'm in). There's this hippie dude as some kind of leader for the seniors and I make best friends with him.
Somehow this dream transitions into police chasing us/shooting futuristic weapons at us in the ruins of some warehouse. I'm with the same group of people running from the cops. One of the cops has 26 illegal assassins somewhere, and he has brought his newest recruit (the 27th). I think they get us, and I woke up.

    2. Zachary, Williams, and Tin Man

      by , 01-30-2014 at 10:48 PM
An old man and a young man have just gone through a portal to another world, chasing someone who's stolen something. The old man asks around after him, but the description he gives, which would have been very unique in the world they're coming from, is almost useless in this one: they're looking for a man about 6 feet tall, dressed "like a warrior." The majority of the men they're talking to here are wearing armor, so that's not very helpful. Bit of a memory gap then, something involving a woman they know and the young man getting into trouble.

The young man's in jail, where another man from another world - not the one they were looking for - is being kept separate, a big blond Viking-looking guy in a large cell full of straw, who seems a little lost and confused. He's being questioned by the jailer, who's talking about that woman who came up earlier; she has a very long series of names, ending with Williams. She's married to someone very respectable, and she's denied that she knows the man in the cell. The jailer is telling him this to try to get him to admit that his story about knowing her was a lie and confess what's really going on, but the man in the cell is completely bewildered. The young man, on the other hand, is aware that there are three versions of Williams, the one that belongs to this world, the one from his, and the one that loves this man in the cell.

Williams arrives in the jail then - the young man believes she's the version from his world. She refers to the young man as Zachary, and she's carrying a fox - when I look at the fox, I'm aware that Zachary is a shapeshifter, and there's some connection to this particular fox. Williams goes to the man in the cell and she calls him "Tin Man," which is a sort of code name, and she's using it to reassure him of who she is and that she really knows him. Zachary believes that the Williams from his world has been posing as the version from this other guy's world in order to get some information out of him. She has him let out of the cell, and when he goes to her, their eyes - the fox's as well - start glowing green, and I have the feeling this means they're about to move between worlds. She looks to Zachary and says something apologetic, and he suddenly realizes that this is both his Williams and the one this guy loves, and that the fox is him - he's looking at their future.

      (Woke up. Back to sleep.)

Just fragments for the rest of the day:

An intelligent species of birds that are dying out after losing all their females to some disaster, giving some other species advice in the hopes of avoiding that same disaster.

Walking down a street, four dancers appear in front of us, concealing an assassin among them.

Something to do with prison and hooded figures "finding their own way."

Describing the story of the King in Yellow to someone.

Before going to bed, I practiced MILD -- I noticed that the color red is a recurring theme, especially when it is on a person, like clothing or hair color -- and practiced making that a cue. As you'll see, I dropped the ball.

Dream one had me in a Baldur's Gate-esque world, but the "graphics" are updated to at least 2010 standards, a la Dragon's Age -- which, by the way, I'd throw gobs of money at an updated Baldur's Gate. Anyways, my party and I are settling into a wooden house in the city, and we are turning in for the night. The house we are in had two rooms (which I never saw) to the left and right of the entrance in the "main" room, which sinks a foot lower and features a hearth in the middle middle (so it actually has a bit of a Warring States-era Japanese design). Straight across the entrance is a ladder that leads up to a loft area (which I'll get into detail later).

Our party seems to be pretty big, as Dream Knowledge tells me that others in our group have settled into other houses nearby, and that I'm sharing a house, hostel style. Of note, two of the people I'm teamed with are a married couple in their late 20's-early 30's, and they are both pleasant spellcasters wearing robes. The wife is in a red robe with green trims (missed MILD cue alert), while the husband is in a navy robe with yellow trim. I think the husband resembles a classmate as well from middle school, who I want to say is K, that I never really was friends with, but hey, whatever you say, Dream Logic. It also appears that the town/city we are in is a little bit hostile, because there was an exchange where we are strategically planning how we should assign rooms (i.e. if we are ambushed in the middle of the night, where should we sleep so we are best prepared), and I say something like "don't worry, I'll sleep anywhere and decide what class I'll be based on that."

I'm now suddenly climbing up the stairs to the loft -- I'm staying there, apparently. The loft area is surprisingly modern looking, including working electrical lights and a sliding-pane window. There is also a private bathroom in the corner. It's also a little messy, with a ton of clothes hanging on hangers all around the wall, and some piles of clothes strewn here and there. There's a giant bed in the middle (bigger than a King-sized bed) that takes up 75% of the available space, and there are some heavy-looking covers. In short, I would absolutely live in a place like this in real life.

I also notice an adorable kitten in the loft, so I reach down to pet it. It's an orange calico kitten, and is really affectionate and playful. After playing with it a little, it lays on its back for me to rub its tummy. It's a trap. The second I do, the kitten snaps like a bear trap to love-bite/claw my forearm. I find it even more adorable at how cat-like this cat is, and after freeing my arm, I call out to the others to come see. I demonstrate by placing my hand on the kitten's tummy again, who reacts exactly like I expected. It's visibly trying to gnaw my arm (and it's soooo cute while it does), but it's just so small and tiny that it barely managed to draw blood (Red blood on my arm. Missed MILD cue alert).

It still "hurt" though, so let that be a lesson: Cats are pure evil, no matter how cute they are.

ANYWAYS, the scene changes, and now I'm alone in another house in the same town. I'm in the kitchen area, because there's a modern looking stove and fridge to my left. There's a small wooden table and two chairs against the wall, and the entrance is in the wall to my right. Straight across, by the fridge, is another doorway to a darkened room, and I emerge from what appears to be the storage/stable. It's dawn, and I'm aware that I'm in red plate armor (missed MILD cue alert), and my weapon of choice is a grey-white claymore. I'm pretty happy with my gear. I'm also alert, and as expected, I'm ambushed by assassins posing as villagers. I dispose of the first attacker, who is dressed like a villager from Might and Magic VI. I think I cleaved her, but she "disappears" with no blood, like I'm in a PG-13 movie. Another attacker runs in from the side, and I turn around and backhand him. Bloodless murder is the most morally-cleanest murder.

At this point, I get agitated at all these assassins and yell out "I know what's going on. Just show yourselves." To which, maybe 8-9 people dressed as villagers meekly come out. I pan, "What am I, Abraham Lincoln?" (lol at my own brain). It's at this point that Dream Knowledge reveals that these villagers need my help. The dream fades at this point.

Dream two posits me at my high school during an assembly in the gym. The dance club(?) is putting on a swing dance routine. For whatever reason, I think something like, "I can do the Charleston," and just like that, I'm suddenly part of the dance routine. I wasn't sure what the Charleston is before I Googled it, by the way; but apparently I'm rocking whatever swing routine my dream calls the Charleston on the dance floor. The "dance" evolved into a 50's rockabilly concert, and I'm now dressed like the band during the Enchantment Under the Sea dance. I'm also playing a red Epiphone Riviera (which I theorize I was able to identify so vividly because it's an actual guitar I have. Also, missed MILD cue alert) on a pretty modern looking stage. Everyone is doing the Twist. The dream fades.

The dream picks up again with a snow theme. The following happens, but I lost track of the order of which came first:
-I'm outside in the snow (pretty sizable amounts -- the snow blankets the field), and Garfield (from the comics) is laying down in the snow next to a snowman (snowcat?) of himself. He's saying/thought bubbling/captioning something like "perfection is the origin of stress." I don't know if those are wise words or dream gibberish.

-I'm upstairs in a room (it resembles a room in my brother's house, actually), overlooking the driveway. I'm worried that the snow is going to make it hard for my mom to drive, even though she hasn't driven in years. But when I look out the window, I see that the roads are cleared up, and there's only about half-a-foot of snow (a snowplow is seen leaving my vision frame). The driveway isn't cleared yet, but I see tire tracks on it, which leads me to believe that the roads are accessible.

I wake up, and I was really expecting it to be snowing in real life.

      Field of Dreams
I am lying on a blanket in a green field, I have just entered a WILD. The field is a very nice place, and a gentle breeze is blowing across the grass. I see I am alone in the field. I try to get up but there seems to be something holding me down. I can't move. I wonder if I am experiencing sleep paralysis. That seems odd, I haven't had a problem with that in the past. I try again to get up, but when I find I can't move, I decide to let myself relax and enjoy the feel of the soft grass beneath me and the gentle breeze blowing over me.

But I feel like I'm not alone… so I don't want to stay still. I look around and I don't see anyone. But I feel them there. I lie back in the grass and try to feel who might be around me. I sense hostile intent. I don't like the idea of being in sleep paralysis and surrounded by enemies. So I focus on the song Dark Power of Abyss and try to do an Immortal Fire. The spell goes off, though it isn't as powerful as it usually is since I can't move. What it does do is break my sleep paralysis so I can get up. I look around and I don't see anyone, there is no sign that there was anyone there at all. I focus on opening a portal to the moon, I remember plans to continue healing. A portal opens and I go through to the balancing pools. When I get there I see that Nomad is already there, as is Winter. I go over to Winter and focus healing energy through her, hoping to keep her fibromyalgia under control. I direct healing energy to Nomad's foot to get rid of the remnants of the sores he has there. After that is done I sink into the balancing pools. It is very relaxing. I sink into the warm water and fall asleep in the dream.

      The Goblin King
I am with a group of other people at the entrance to a castle. I recognize the people I am with. Nomad, Spike, Bakura, Altaïr are all there. What I notice is that while I recognize them all, everyone looks like a Templar. I look like a Templar. I wonder why we are all dressed as Templars. Templars are a dream sign, so I do a reality check and become fully lucid. There is a group of Templars going into the castle, and we go into the castle with that group. No one notices us there and the gates close behind us. Nomad says we have to find out where the Goblin King is being held. I look around for some sign that might tell me where he might be. I see one door that has a couple Templar guards on each side of it. I wonder if that might be where we need to go. It doesn't look like they're even letting Templars through the door. I get over closer to them and notice they are watching me closely. I focus on reading them telepathically. The door does indeed lead to a dungeon, and that is where the Goblin King is locked up. They are under orders to keep everyone out except for a select few Templars. It also appears that the guards are under orders to kill the prisoner if there is any sign of a rescue attempt. I move on before anyone becomes too suspicious. I tell the others I know where the Goblin King is being held. I am thinking one of us will have to disguise ourselves as a specific Templar when I see someone approaching the door. I pull invisibility cloaks from my pockets and pass them around, we slip through the door behind the Templar guard that they allow through. On the way down to the dungeon Altaïr takes out the single Templar, who has a key to the lower areas. The dungeon is empty except for the Goblin King and a couple more Templars guarding his cell.

Nomad takes out one of the guards and Spike takes out the other. Inside the cell we find there is a goblin chained to the far wall, he looks very cranky. After letting him know who we are we try to unlock the chains, but the key doesn't fit. I use the Harry Potter unlock spell alohamora to open the locks and free the prisoner. He is clearly not in the mood to make a stealthy exit… he charges out of the room like he thinks he can take on every Templar in the place by himself. We follow him out of the dungeon and get to the main level of the castle just as he is bursting through the door into the main courtyard. Nomad fires off a flare, no doubt indicating it is ok to make a move now. I hear a commotion from outside the castle, it sounds like there is an army attacking the castle. The Goblin King is under attack, though no one is attacking the rest of us since we still look like Templars. I use Battery and call down lightning to strike Templars as they attack the Goblin King. No one seems to know exactly where the lightning is coming from. They notice when it appears several Templars are helping the Goblin King, however. Something is smashing at the main gate of the castle. Nomad gets over near the gate and pulls the lever that opens it, allowing a swarm of goblins into the castle. Now everything is chaos. I make sure to switch back to my usual Assassin robes, I don't want to be a target for the goblins. I use the song Damage, Inc. to call fireballs to hit Templars. The fight doesn't take long before the entire place is overrun by goblins. I see a portal in the back of the castle with the last few Templars retreating through it. The portal closes just before the goblins reach it. I am thinking that must be the last of them, and it is here I wake.

      Tornado of Flames
I am in my own room, sitting on my bed, looking around. I am surrounded by Templars, which immediately pisses me off. I just used an Immortal Fire before going to bed and they're already back? I focus on using Dark Power of the Abyss by Rhapsody again, to drop another Immortal Fire and get rid of all of the Templars in the area. As the wave of flames from the Immortal Fire expands outwards from me I see it starts rotating as if it was caught in a tornado.

The flames are actually pulling the Templars into a vortex portal. I wonder where the vortex portal might lead, and I look through. I see through the portal to what looks like deep space on the other side with a small planet of solid ice, maybe it's Pluto. I figure as long as it's not the Dark Realm they can go there for a while. The last of the Templars are pulled through the portal and then the portal closes behind them. Nomad opens another portal that leads to the moon, and we go through it. I remember that Nomad's girlfriend Winter needs some healing for her fibromyalgia, and there are a couple sores left to heal on Nomad, so I figure we can do some healing first. We go to the balancing pools and slip into the water. The warm water feels very relaxing. I see Winter is already floating in the water, seeming to be asleep. I go over to her and focus healing energy through her. I send the energy through Winter's whole body before moving over to Nomad and focusing healing energy on his foot, on the couple remaining sores, most of which are gone completely and only two small ones remain. While I am focusing the healing energy I feel healing energy going through me, it is so relaxing. I think I am going to fall asleep right there. I am floating in the warm water and almost asleep when someone gets my attention. Washu is there, she says maybe the nanites in my head on the physical plane can be put to use to help us instead of the Templars.

At first I have no idea what she is talking about, I give her a blank look. She says come on, Janet also wants a look. Winter stays in the balancing pools, floating serenely in the water. Nomad and I follow Washu to the sick bay area of the moon tower. It looks like a Star Trek sick bay. Nomad and I each lie down in a bed, scans are being done. The computer responds that there are nanites in both of us, though the ones in Nomad appear to be disabled. Apparently mine are doing just fine… unfortunately… Washu says she thinks they can hack in to the nanites and take control of them, or of course disabling them is an option. I tell her maybe reprogram them… if I could use them to get a clearer contact to the Borg Collective then maybe I could boost my recall of everything from things I have learned to my own dreams. Washu agrees with that, Janet types something on a computer. I feel drowsy and I fall asleep on the bed, I notice I can hear voices in the distant part of my mind, voices like those in the Borg Collective. It is just on the periphery of my awareness, however, and I slip off to sleep.

      Secret Invasion
I am with Nomad and some other people in the tower on the moon looking at a computer display. The display shows the area just outside of a town, it looks like Masyaf from the Assassin's Creed games. In one dark corner there are Templars disguising themselves as Assassins. The Templars don't even look like normal Templars, they look demonic in nature, and they are heading into Masyaf unquestioned along with a group of Assassins who had been out scouting the area for intruders. I think that was an epic fail on the scouting mission… So we go to the tower teleporters and teleport to a spot right near where the Templars are disguising themselves. They are Templars disguised as Assassins.

We change our appearance so we are now Assassins disguised as Templars disguised as Assassins. We go into the town around Masyaf in these disguises, unquestioned. It seems really obvious to me that there are people who do not belong here, but the guards at the gate seem oblivious. Inside the town it seems people are splitting up a bit, though I am not sure where they are going. I follow a couple of Templars up towards the castle. One of the Templars is sneaking up behind an Assassin guard, but I sneak up on him first. The Templar is dead before he can make his move, I kill him by pumping light energy into him through my hidden blade. I look around in time to see Altaïr eliminate the other Templar I had been following. I look around, not sure how to spot the Templars hidden among the Assassins and civilians. Then I remember the tiara I got from Koomo in a previous dream… it gives me Eagle Vision like the characters in Assassin's Creed have. So I activate that and look over a ledge at people down below. Most of them don't glow at all, those are civilians. Several glow blue, indicating they are allies, they are Assassins. I spot a red one, a mixture of red and gold actually. An enemy and a target. A Templar. The Templar is right below me, so I do an air assassinate on him, dropping right down on top of him. Two of the Assassins see me do this, and their impression is that one Assassin just killed another… I pull the hood off of the dead Templar to reveal his true nature so they will see why I have done that. I tell them that I saw this Templar and others sneaking into Masyaf, be on the lookout, there are more intruders around… all of them demons. I wonder if normal weapons will do any good on the demons… I leave the spot and scan for more enemies. I spot two more Templars heading for the castle entrance. When I get close enough I realize I have been spotted, and they attack me. I form Witchblade into a sword and defend myself. A couple Assassins in the area don't seem sure of what to do when they see what they think is three Assassins fighting each other. I manage to hit them both with light energy and take them out, revealing their true nature at the same time. The other Assassins in the area seem surprised to see the intruders. I wonder how far the Templars would have gotten without being seen… Spike, also dressed as an Assassin, arrives from my left. He says the enemies have all been accounted for, but there is a large force approaching Masyaf. Everyone is gathering at the front to repel it. I head in that direction, but I wake up before I have a chance to make it.

      Time of the Storm
I am with a large group of people, a large group of Assassins outside of the walls of the city of Masyaf. I see a dark cloud approaching, my first thought is that I am in a Dark Tower dream and the Wolves of the Calla are approaching. I look around and confirm I am surrounded by Assassins rather than gunslingers. The approaching cloud is a group of enemies, but it is not the Wolves of the Calla, these enemies are Templars. One Templar arrives ahead of the others, approaching as if he had nothing to fear from the group of Assassins waiting to meet him. He laughs at the group, in fact. He says he will give us all one chance. Hand over the artifact key and maybe he can convince those following him to leave us alive. Someone in the group of Assassins says if the Templars turn and leave now then maybe some of them will make it out alive. The Templar laughs and says he had hoped we would do it the hard way, this is going to be fun. The Templar makes a motion to unseen forces behind him and they all seem to appear out of nowhere. The bracelet I got from Koomo transforms into a pair of giant raven wings, lifting me up above the fight below. I use Battery to call down lightning from the clouds, lightning made of light energy to strike down the demon Templars.

All around me I see the fighting has begun, Nomad has transformed into some kind of giant feline and is tearing through Templars like they aren't even there. Most of the people there are fighting with swords, I am being fired at with arrows that are glowing with a black light, charged with dark energy. I dodge most of the arrows, though a couple actually put holes through my black wings. I land in the middle of the fight and form Witchblade into a sword. I can't really see much of what is going on right now, from the middle of the fight. I occasionally spot a familiar face… Nomad… Spike… Altaïr… I use the song Divide by Disturbed to create multiple instances of me. The fight continues for a short time longer until we have emerged victorious. The demon Templars are all either destroyed or forced to retreat to their home dimension. I focus my efforts on healing injured Assassins now, there are a few people around who have been injured but not killed. I wonder how many of the Assassins got killed in the fight, wishing I could somehow have saved them all, but the only way to do that would have been to keep them out of the fight entirely, which they wouldn't have agreed to. I have just finished healing a female Assassin, one of the few women I have seen on the battle field, when I wake.
    6. 04/06/13 The Towers and the Templars

by , 04-07-2013 at 12:55 AM (New Dream Adventures of Raven Knight)
      04/06/13

      Tower in the Sky
I use my hypnotic program to enter into a WILD… I am in a green field of grass lying on a blanket relaxing. I open my eyes and look up at the blue sky. There are weird energy pulses obscuring my view of the sky. I sit up and look around only to see I am surrounded by Templars. I give out a tired groan, getting really sick of entering my dreams only to find Templars lately. I tell one of the Templars closest to me that I am going to count to 10 and then drop an immortal fire just in case he and his friends want to bug out. 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… I get interrupted by the Templar saying they will stop bothering me if I return the orb I took. I ignore that. 6… 7… 8… 9… I notice a couple of the Templars disappear, but most of them do not. The energy waves coming off of them actually seem to get stronger. 10. I use the immortal fire spell, sending a wall of fire out from my position, incinerating the Templars in its path. It wasn't one of my stronger ones, but it has done the job. I open a portal to the moon to meet up with Nomad. On the other side of the portal we are near the healing springs. I notice that Winter is relaxing in the water. She looks like she is asleep. Nomad is there with her, holding her. I feel briefly lonely until I feel someone put his arms around me. That makes me feel a lot better. I look and see I am being hugged by Altaïr. I tell Nomad that there is something I have to get out of the Silver Tower before anything happens, as I am not sure what will happen if it gets damaged. Or at least I think there is… He is looking at me strangely. We go into the tower on the moon, to the main control center. There is a display on the screen of a space station. That is where I need to go. I think I really have no idea where to look… but then I see it. On a part of the station that looks like a radar dish there is a glowing orb. I think the orb looks a lot like one I took from the Templars in an earlier dream… except this orb is green where the other one was blue.

I need to get that. I focus on teleporting outside and near the glowing orb. The teleportation works, and I find I am floating in space with no difficulty breathing. The orb is sealed in there pretty tight. I change my hidden blade to a plasma form and use it to cut through a couple pieces of the casing that holds the orb in place. I wonder if their systems will warn them of the intrusion. No matter. I have the orb. I take the orb from its place and teleport back to the tower on the moon. I show the others what I felt I had to go get. What is it? I don't really know. A piece of Eden like in the Assassin's Creed games? A piece of the wizard's rainbow from the Dark Tower books? Neither? Both? It just seemed important that I get it. Everything fades around me as I wake.

      Star Wars
I am in bed and I am on fire! I wake suddenly to see I am surrounded by blue flames, but I quickly realize they do not burn me. Something is burning off of me. Parasites? Are there more Templars around? I see Nomad is in the room with me. I ask if he has seen any Templars around. He says they were hiding but he took them out. I find myself feeling pissed off at the Templars. Nomad opens a portal to the moon. On the other side complete chaos has broken out. There is a space station in the sky over the moon tower, and there is fighting going on all around it. Nomad looks around and says the Templars seem really pissed off about something… He summons a huge animal that he gets on… it looks primarily feline, like a saber tooth tiger, but it has huge golden wings. Nomad flies on the animal into the sky and joins the fight. The fight is everywhere. People are fighting on the ground, people are fighting in the air on winged mounts… He is dual wielding swords, big ones, and cutting through enemies as he goes into the sky. Chaos reigns. I see waves of Templars, goblins, orcs, and Assassins. Some of them are fighting on the ground, others in the sky. I form wings, the wings of a giant raven, and fly into the sky to join the fight. I am an Assassin with raven wings.

I am instantly attacked by Templars. Some of them just attack, others of them say I will pay for my interference, he says we will all pay. He attacks me, I shoot him with my crossbow and continue fighting by calling down a bolt of lightning on several Templars coming in behind the one who had been threatening me. The Templars seem determined to destroy everything in their path. I use the song Battery to strike down more Templars. Chaos continues, then the area is filled with a blinding flash of flames. The flames incinerate everything in their path, or at least that's how it seems at first. When the flames clear out I see it really only burned Templars, everyone else has been left untouched. I wonder where the flames came from, I look down at the moon surface and see it has also been mostly untouched. The flames could have burned all the trees and plants in their path but the ground is still lush and green. I fly back to the surface of the moon, looking for Nomad or anyone else I know. Before I can find anyone I wake.

      The Wolves of the Calla
I am in a dark place, though it looks like dawn is approaching quickly. There are other people there with me, lots of them. Most of the people there are children. And most of the children are twins. I look around and see some familiar faces. Roland is the first I spot. From the Dark Tower books. So I do a quick RC by pinching my nose and I find I am dreaming. I see MoSh in the area, as well as Jake, Susanna, Eddie, and a few other women I don't recognize. All the kids head up a path leading into the desert. I look off to the east. That is where they will be coming from. I know instinctively that the wolves will be coming soon. It is now light enough to see the cloud of dust created by their strange gray horses. Roland says they have come too early… we won't have time to hide the children. He whistles to call the children back, and they immediately double back even though they haven't gone very far. Roland says he hopes the trail left by the four is enough to draw the wolves in. MoSh is with the others down in the trench, but there isn't any room for all of us, so Nomad and I are in the corn across the way, watching for the wolves to come. The first of them arrive just barely after the last child has lied flat in the corn field, it looks like they barely missed seeing them. But some of them must have seen, as a group of them are turning towards the corn fields where the children are hidden. I shoot one in the back with a crossbow using electrically charged bolts. The thing sparks and smokes and falls over. It wasn't as quiet as I had hoped… the others turn and see Nomad and I am hidden in the corn. Nomad transforms into a large feline form with huge claws that rip through the wolves' metallic bodies as easily as he tears through their robes. I form Witchblade into a sword and cut the metallic legs from a robot horse, knocking its rider to the ground. Gunfire is roaring now, and more of the enemies are falling. They seem a bit confused as to where the attacks are coming from. One of them throws a glowing ball at me but I cut it in half before it reaches me.

A sneetch… those things explode when they impact. I see MoSh shoot the head off of one of the enemies as it is about to cut off a woman's head. The woman is safe and ducks back down into the trench only to come back shortly later and throw a couple of the razor sharp plates they are using for weapons. If that was the woman I think it was, then saving her also kept Jake's friend Benny from panicking and coming out of the trench to make himself a target for sneetches. I jump into the air, partially flying, and knock two of the enemies off of their mechanical horses, cutting them in half at the same time. The fight really doesn't take that long. It is loud and quick, I see Roland take out one of the last enemies and the horse that enemy rode in on. Everything has mostly quieted down before I wake.

      The Void
      Lucid 80%

I was in my childhood home and realized this was a dream sign! I shouted “this is a dream!” and my much younger mom, aged appropriately for the era, looks at me like “What?” I run outside as a little kid and then age up to my present age as I run for the street; I can make great wormholes here on the flat surface. I pointed but nothing happened. I flicked my hand and bam there was a small black wormhole on the street. “Oh crap I have no idea for what I want to do!” I try to think of my dream goals and the wormhole vanishes but I try to think some more while keeping hold of the dreams lucidity, kind of like dribbling 2 basketballs at once. I dig and come up with a memory of summoning myself and flick another wormhole but this one is deformed looking like spilt ink. ‘Summoning myself on any other day would be a cool idea but I want something less me, more mind blowing, I got to think!’ “I got it! I can look for something to do with my career path” and I flick open a perfect wormhole and stand on it.
I get sucked down into my wormhole and I see blackness then out of the void pictures start rolling by from left to right. All are big pictures with maybe a perfect tree on one and the next has a motorcycle on one [btw I saw this same motorcycle in the last wormhole I created and have no interest in motorcycles]. One picture has a lot of words in boxes connected by lines and then the next has a girl blowing bubbles into the air . They all seemed like they were representing something. They seemed pretty endless so I latched onto one by touching it and was sucked in and wound up in a well lit hallway with wooden bookshelves on either side. A woman, blond in her mid 20’s in casual business attire, said to me forcefully “Well now that you’re here we can get down to business.” Then they all (the 3 other women of about the same age and dress) started walking for the office at the end of the hall so I joined them. Once in the office I sat in one of the plush and comfy leather seats and she asked me what my other offers where, caught off guard by this whole thing I said nothing (hey less than a minute ago I was out on the street outside my childhood home!). She took my quietness as stalling and said “well we have a pretty good package here and have connections.” I got a thought from someone else in the room that the connections were political and Bill Clinton might be involved but this was not talked about openly (yay for telepathy!). She walked behind the big desk with tons of stuff on it from different people and lots of papers. The office looked cool to me, I love so much detail in these nonphysical places. She sat on the corner of the desk (I got the idea it really wasn’t her place to be sitting in the seat) and said, “So ok let’s talk.” I felt too much on the spot and had a good enough time so I pulled out of the dream and woke up to happily record my LD.

Once awake I realize how tired I really was and waited a second to recall my dream before I recorded it.

      Assassin
      lucid 50%

I am in a holding cell with a Plexiglas wall. Me and this other guy are in this one cell and we are assassins and our skills are going to be tested. There is a woman in the other cell by herself so we 3 will be tested and only one will get the assignment. The guy in my cell wonders if I can take him but I know this is a dream and he doesn’t stand a chance but I keep hearing his thought “can I take him?” I decide to school him a bit. My mind goes into hyper fast thought, realizing he is too far away to start on him with my hands I kick my chair at him and jump thorough the air at him. I land as he catches the chair and holds it as a shield as he falls back onto the floor. He is strong and using his hands and knees to hold the chair up so any force going down is not going to do much so I push the shielding chair in the direction of his head just a bit so I can step on his groin. I didn’t step hard just enough to get a needed reaction, he lowers the chair over his groin and I bring around my hand using my thumb as a small knife to prove my point as it stops just outside his neck. He looks at my hand and knows he has been beaten and would have been dead in seconds had a real knife entered his carotid arteries this way.

I wake up and this time write stuff down!

    8. 10/19/10 Parasites, Walms, and Templars... oh, my!

by , 10-24-2010 at 04:18 AM (New Dream Adventures of Raven Knight)
Note: Tonight was composed of fragments which I will post here. Actually, I'm sure there was more to each of these dreams, but those are parts that I am not able to remember at this point. So here are the fragments:

      Under My Skin
I was in the lab / sick bay in the biodome tower with Tigress and Janet, I couldn't remember how I had gotten there, but somehow I was lucid. I looked around, I saw Tigress talking to Janet for a bit, so I just waited. I remembered Tigress saying she wanted Janet to check us both out to see if we might have any parasites inside us. She came over to me and said Janet had given her a clean bill of health, so there was no need for her to stay here any longer. I wondered where she might be going so fast, didn't she want to stick around and maybe do something after Janet checked me out? Janet told me to lie down on the sick bay bed and she would check me out. I did that, and I couldn't see what she was doing, I was lying on my stomach, but she was talking about some rather disgusting leech type things that she was removing. I wondered if Tigress was waiting for me… I saw someone out of the corner of my eye, I looked and I saw Nomad. He said there were parasites on me, he was sure he had sensed those there. Janet said there sure were, but she was almost done getting them all off. Nomad asked if she had gotten the ones off of Tigress, too. Janet said Tigress hadn't had any parasites on her, though she had checked for them. Nomad seemed to think that was odd, but he didn't say anything.

      Mistaken Identity
I was in my room and lucid, I remembered I had a goal of locating Walms and restoring his flame, which he had told me was out. I knew from how he had acted that it wasn't completely out, but I thought maybe he could use a bit of help getting it strong again after encountering some strange energy that had apparently damaged it. He said he had been staying away from everyone until the flame was restored so he wouldn't look to pointlessly hurt anyone (if the flame had been out that wouldn't have mattered) so I might have problems finding him. I focused on locating Walms, he said his energy would be different, so I wasn't really sure what I would trace. So I just focused on what I know about Walms from talking to him and sharing a few dreams in the past, using a song spell for tracking… and thought it took a bit more energy, a portal finally opened, so I went through. I exited the portal into a forest area, looked consistent with somewhere I might find Walms. I looked around, not sure where I might find Walms, but then I spotted someone over beside a particularly large tree. I went over to him and looked at him closely, I couldn't see much in the way of energy there, well that fit… I had expected that Walms would be hiding his energy pretty well. I called the person Walms and said hello, I said I was there to restore his flame, and I was sure I hadn't been followed. I got a blank look as a response, so I thought maybe he wasn't lucid… I told him he was dreaming, I added that I was Raven Knight. He continued to give me the same blank look as if I was speaking in a foreign language… damn… I wondered if there were times that Walms was non-lucid that he didn't remember English… "Yo estoy Raven Knight," I stumbled in Spanish, "Estoy aquí para restaurar el fuego interior ... Walms? Estás soñando, ya sabes ..." That same blank look that was beginning to get quite frustrating… "How cute…" a voice said from my right, "She doesn't recognize me…" I turned to my right really fast, just in time to see someone vanish… Walms?! Then who was I talking to? The person I had been talking to said something that made absolutely no sense… um… I went over to the place the person had vanished… that was Walms, no doubt… "Wait a sec!" I called, even though he was long gone. I focused on opening a portal to follow him, but my memory ends here.

      Templar Party
I was in what I thought of as my house, but it wasn't like my waking life home. The inside of it was very similar, but there was a huge deck out back where there were a lot of people having a party, there was music, food, a swimming pool, and everyone was having lots of fun. But somehow I knew the guests were all Templars… I was also thinking my mom had no idea who she had invited over. I tried to tell her, but she wasn't listening. She went outside to take care of the guests, but I stayed in my room. I was able to look out my window at the partiers outside. I didn't want them to see me, so I was staying low and just peeking over my window sill to see them out there. My mom looked frustrated, then she came inside and found me spying on the party. She said she didn't care if I stayed long, but it was rude of me to not show up and at least say hi to our guests. I said I couldn't do that, those were all Templars, and they would surly know that I was aligned with the Assassins… She told me not to be silly, they wouldn't know that unless I went out with a sign that said, "GO ASSASSINS" or something dumb like that. She said she wanted to see me outside in 15 minutes, and that was final. With that she left the room. I knew for sure that the Templars would recognize me, so I had to get out of there. I went out of the back door and headed for the gate, trying to hurry before I was seen… epic fail. I hadn't made it halfway to the gate before my mom spotted me and brought everyone's attention to me. The Templars looked over at me, I could tell by the way they looked that they knew I was with the Assassins… My mom, oblivious to everything, was cheerfully introducing us, which is not actually like her normal behavior at all.

...or "Taking Over a Country in Five Easy Steps".

      09/27/10

"Your son, your majesty, is a psychotic despot who's been running your country into the ground."

      "And you have a solution?"

"Your youngest child went missing several years ago. You should inform your court that I have returned."

Johanna swings the sword furiously at her attacker. Her blonde hair, braided into a plait, sweeps through the air as she ducks his return attack. She's on the defensive, frantically blocking his sword, barely avoiding being cut. The man's face is expressionless as he forces her into a corner.

A slow clapping starts up from across the room. The attacker stills, and Johanna steps away, keeping her sword ready.

"Bravo," says the man on the other side of the room. "You've done extraordinarily well, getting this far."

"I'll kill you," she hisses back, not taking her eyes from the bodyguard, "For destroying my family."

"With that sword?" asks the prince, "I think not."

"I've fought my way through your legions," she pronounces, "Decimated them."

"Yes," says the prince, "But then, you had someone to protect, which is the purpose of your enchanted sword. Tell me, where is your brother?"

"He's dead," says Johanna, "Murdered by your men!" On the last word, a knife materializes in her other hand. She rushes the bodyguard, swipes down, slicing at his face.

Blood splatters against the wall, and Johanna clutches at her throat in surprise. She falls to the ground, aware that she's bleeding out. From the corner of her eye, she can see another man emerge from the shadows. Stupid, she thinks, should have realized he would have backup...

She's standing on a stone bridge, which spans the entirety of a mountainous valley. At the end of the bridge is a city. Blue spires reach up into the sky, and Johanna is dimly aware that she's looking at the Capitol City. This was her home, before everything. It's still peaceful. The sky is blue, and sunlight shines down, lighting up the valley and the mist with an ethereal glow. The valley is lush, full of greens and grains and enough food keep most of the kingdom from growing hungry. It's almost unbelievable, that such an awe-inspiring sight could hide such a great evil.

"I brought you back." I tell her.

Johanna turns to look at me. "Why?" Her face is blank, but I can hear the anguish in her voice.

"I don't think you understand," I say slowly, "I brought you back. Nothing you've endured has happened yet. Your family is still alive."

She's quiet for a moment, looking out over the blue lustre of the city in the distance. "What's the catch?"

I have to smile at that. "You can prevent all of this from happening," I say, "If you do exactly as I say."

plots to pacify the population with the latest crop of sweet potato, wading through water fields under the bridge

I'm standing in a stone building (opulence, splendor) at the centre of the city. I know the precise moment that it happens, because it feels like a string is being cut. And just like that, destiny has been rewritten. The prince is dead, long live the prince.

A cell phone chimes in my pocket. I answer on the third ring.

"Hello, 'Father'," I say, irony in my tone. "So, when is my coronation?"

      Scare Factor: 3/10

Wait, wait. Your crown prince is an evil sociopath, so you want my dream self to rule instead? Good luck with that.

      3. Bring them back in time.

He's killed, just like that. His daughter, seven years old, is alone in their apartment across town. I'm the daughter.

I slip from the bed, tiny and blonde and short-haired, and push open the door to the rest of the apartment. Somehow, I'm not surprised to see a man there. The man is stocky and blond, and I can see that he's grinning when the orange light from the window hits his face.

I incline my head. "Sir." I say, my voice neutral.

He grins wider and nods back. I step back into the doorway of my bedroom, and he brushes past me into the bright light of the hallway.

He'll be back, if only to keep an eye on me. I need to leave.

I'm a man in a black suit, sitting in the back of a black car, which is driving to the outskirts of a town in Illinois. And we're in Illinois, of course, because the Organization tracked an Extranormal here. One false move, one positive test, and suddenly Jane Doe (Age 17, Grade 12, parents work from home) is about to be assassinated by a team of armed government goons.

It's funny. Extranormals can't strictly be barred from going to school, or holding regular jobs. Hell, they can even travel. Different countries have different restrictions, of course, but the good ol' US of A is all about liberty. The Organization can track them, though. Legality's a little fuzzy, but some real dangerous ones pop up occasionally. What to do with them?

Here's the thing: Extranormals go crazy all the time. They lose control of their powers and suddenly they're either a human icicle or a pile of ashes. Most of the time they take innocent bystanders with them. It's really no problem at all to fake a meltdown. Kill the EN, murder all the bystanders, blow shit up. It's easy.

This one's powers are a little more subtle, so no flashy special effects. Fortunately, ENs tend to be a little crazy to begin with, so it wouldn't be unheard of for one to suddenly... snap. Possibly kill her entire family with a butcher knife. Double murder-suicide, neat and clean.

The man in the passenger seat has the knife.

We pull up the gravel driveway. The other three men silently open their doors and step out. I hide a grin by turning toward the empty road as I step out of the car. No one's coming.

The plan is to enter the house and kill the parents, then ambush the girl when she comes home from school.

      Neat and clean.

      Except.

Her father died ten years ago.

Her mother died even before that.

And Jane Doe is a really stupid pseudonym.

The only person in the house is the lodger who rents out the basement. That lodger is an Extranormal himself, a young black man who's trying to lie low. Obviously, that's not working out.

I can sense him in the front entrance of the house, ready to attack the first man who comes in. I give the all-clear to the other men.

The man with the knife kicks open the door and walks into an ambush. I shoot the other two in the back.

Once upon a time, there was a man in a black suit. The man was supposed to sit in the back of a black car, and break into a house, and help murder an entire family. While he was still alive, this man used to really hate shapeshifters.

I'm standing in the shadows, talking quietly with the owner of a tavern. I lean casually against the open door frame, and the owner seems nervous, as if he'd very much like to tell me to leave. I ask him for information on my target, an older man who knows secrets that someone is paying to keep hidden.

The front door slams open, and most of the bar turns to look. My target is standing at the center of attention, panting. He looks around nervously.

I put a finger to my lips, warning the owner to keep silent, and step back into the night. Remotely, I see the man look at the open side door, before shaking his head and descending the stairs at the center of the room. I walk into the bar, through the front door this time. The target turns around and eyes me suspiciously, but my dark brown cloak is unremarkable, and I'm making my way to the bar.

When he turns a corner, I'm down the stairs after him. I see him slip into the dormitories, the beds that the tavern rents out, and I enter the room after him. He's not there. Unconcerned, I head towards the bed that an old woman, who used to work for the tavern, said was his the last time he stayed here. I strip the bed and see subtle signs of stitching at the seams. I rip into the mattress, sending stuffing across the room, and taking what's hidden there.

The stack of papers is old, but well preserved. I focus on the title.

These are the carvings of the things I saw.

The rest of the information needs to be translated. I carefully place the manuscript in my bag and fasten it shut, slinging the bag across my shoulder.

The old man must have escaped through the Shadow Ways (portals?), but I have what I need. I walk down the hallway and find an exact copy of the room I just left. I think about searching it, but decide that the phenomenon is entirely normal, since this is a dream.

What one person will pay to keep hidden, others will go to any length to reveal. Curious and excited, I take the stairs to the main floor, ready to meet my contact.

      Questions. Scare Factor: 2.

I didn't get to find out what the manuscript was, and I wasn't lucid even though I knew I was dreaming. What a frustrating ending.

I was standing at the edge of a curb holding up a sign and picketing with a group of other people because some contractors were violating our civil rights. The contractors hired hitmen to take us down. Our group ran to the inside of a building, down the stairs, and into a dark basement where we took cover. The basement was shaped like a pentagon and had doors on each side. In the middle of the room was an old couch. The assassins came out of the door and starting firing their guns at us. I ran to the edge of the staircase and hid behind the wall, waiting for any shadows to give me cue to shoot.

"The girl here, I took out all her fingers at a buffet once," I heard one of the female assassin's voice say to another. I looked down at my hands, they looked completely normal. I wasn't missing any fingers...

The lady comes around the corner and I shot at her, but my bullets went right through her! I shot her again and she laughed at how she is unaffected. Invincible.

I ran up the stairs of the basement. The carpeted stairs became hard rock and I felt as if I was running up the steps of a castle. The stairs whipped around tightly like a lighthouse staircase. I finally came to the top of the stairs and into a room where I saw my mother sleeping on a bed. I went into the other room and say myself sleeping on a bed...Wait, what?
    13. Log 23 Safari, Aircraft test, Iraq

by , 07-26-2010 at 12:32 AM (World of Kaos)
The notes for this log was taken two days ago, as I have had not been able to update my log since then.

Anyways, I see that I jotted down something about going on a safari or something. I have no recall what it was about whatsoever.

      __________

In this dream I travel to Iraq with some people I know, and meet up with a bunch of people that were related to my friends somehow. When we get there, three extremely attractive middle eastern women greeted us at the hotel we were to be staying at for the night.

Our place we were staying at looked like a suite, and was extremely beautiful. The three ladies turned out to be staying in the same room as we were, and I was excited needless to say. We flirted with them for a while until we all went to bed, or so it seemed like.

The next morning we were in the middle of this open coliseum type of thing where the ladies told us we would witness some of the launches of a new aircraft that the Iraqis had recently built. Sure enough, after standing there waiting for a while, we saw what looked similar to the United States space shuttle launch up into the air. Then an airplane looking aircraft swooped in and hooked it with this hook thing that was on it's nose. All of a sudden both ships began to fall in the distance.

"Oh no, look like it failed." One of the women stated to us as we stared at what was happening.

Fast-forward: It becomes night time, and the three ladies, myself, and my friends are running home from gun fire in the streets of Iraq. I eventually lose sight of my group I was with and I start to panic a bit.

Driving right next to me in the street was a big yellow school bus. Then, all of a sudden two school buses pull in front and in back of the bus that was driving next to me. Men dressed in all black and carrying sniper rifles and assault rifles opened fire at the driver in the now trapped school bus. I keep thinking to myself that they do not want to kill me, that they are killing people that I have nothing to do with.

I kept running and running until the gun fire had completely ceased, and it was hazy after that.

Fast-forward: The following morning I am in the same stadium I was in before (where I watched the mysterious air craft launch), except I am there to watch a football game between two Iraqi teams. For some reason I am on the field and the game never starts, and some huge creature appears and is eating citizens who are standing with me in the middle.

Note: Felt like I was in Iraq, or in my dream, for three days. This is most likely due to my mind fast forwarding time.

by , 07-06-2010 at 06:50 AM (Things to Run Away From Really Fast)
      06/16/2010

The problem with world-class assassins is that everyone wants to kill each other.

An old woman hums tunelessly, pushing her squeaking cart along the grey-flecked tiles. Her nails tap tap tap against the stainless steel handle, along with a beat only she can hear. She slows the cart down, the wheels shrieking their protest, and smiles at the young man behind the desk, pointing to the ID clipped to her shoulder. He glances up, looking bored, and barely glances at the ID before waving her along.

The hospital room is single-occupancy, dim and empty except for the bedridden patient. He wakes up from a doze, looks at the woman in scrubs as she enters the room. She slides a platter off of the food cart and slides it onto the tray sitting across his bed.

"How are you feeling, Mr. Burke?" The woman smiles.

"Horrible," he manages, glancing up blearily as she injects something into his IV. "Anything good to eat?"

"Of course, dear. There's tuna sandwiches, if you like those."

He perks up a bit, and nibbles at the sandwich. It's decent for hospital food, he decides. He'll be glad to get back to his normal life, with four-course dinners and world-class chefs.

The woman is still there when he finishes the sandwich. "That was actually pretty good," he tells her.

"Well, it is my own special recipe."

His mouth is dry, and he can feel his heart beating faster. Burke frowns. He's sweating. "Excuse me," he says, "But could you get a doctor? I think the symptoms are coming back."

The woman is unhooking the machines monitoring his vital status.

"Don't worry," she says. "It has nothing to do with your heart attack, Mr. Burke." She smiles kindly at him. "My special recipe is called Chalk Tuna. The compounds I've used in your sandwich are reacting with the drugs in your IV. It's untraceable, almost completely undetectable during an autopsy... rather brilliant, if I do say so myself."

Burke's fingers twitch. He wants to reach for the button, to call a nurse, call anyone, but he can't move. He tries to shout, but his mouth won't open, his voice won't work. An icy sensation begins to crawl in from his extremities, cold and burning at the same time.

"It's also a paralyzing substance," the woman muses, "and it's an incredibly painful way to die."

She smiles fondly down at the man seizing on the bed. "Have a nice day, Mr. Burke."

The cart begins its squeaking journey back to the elevator. Burke shuts his eyes and tries to scream.

      ---

Matilda has approximately four minutes to return the cart and exit the hospital. After that time, the real nurse will make her rounds and find Mr. Burke dead, the machines having shorted out due to faulty wiring. The doctors will attempt to resuscitate him, but the poison in his veins will prevent this from taking effect. There will be questions for the young man at the desk in front of the elevator, but Matilda plans to disappear long before any suspicion can fall on her.

Without a suspect or a murder weapon, the incident will be written off as a simple heart attack, and Mr. Burke's son will inherit his company.

Stepping out into the sunlight of the alley, Mathilda allows herself a moment to bask in the enjoyment of a job well done. She feels a shift in the air, a chill, and a blade burrowing into her skull.

I sheathe the wrist-blade and let the body fall, watching impassively as the infamous assassin kicks up dust on the dry ground. She twitches slightly, extending a hand in a clawing motion before going still.

I leave the body where it is. There's sure to be a complicated frame-up job involving several people who want to take power, but I've done my part. As long as Matilda is dead, I can get out of here and -

I'm throwing myself to the side. A line of throwing knives hit the brick behind me. I take cover, diving behind a dumpster, throwing a fireball in the direction of my attacker.

He's on the roof across from me, I reason. I came down from the hospital fire escape, but he was hidden by shadows - damn! I don't have an escape route, and we need to get out of here before they start looking for Burke's killer. Unfortunately, the owner of those throwing knives is not someone to be reasoned with.

"Simon?" I shout, stepping out from my hiding place. He's on the roof. "I didn't know you were in town."

"Everyone's in town, Sam!" That's Simon, all right. He looks giddy, sounds like he's on a sugar high. The man's more of a sociopath than I am. "Haven't you heard?"

"Yes." Goddamned council didn't even ask before invading my city.

"And you got Matilda first! I've been wanting to take her down for ages."

      "Creepy?" I ask.

      "Creepy." He confirms.

My fingers twitch, ready to call up another fireball. Simon tracks the movement, and I change my mind. "Simon," I say, "Would you like to play a game?"

His face splits into a grin. "First to a hundred?" He asks.

"I was thinking the whole conference."

Simon laughs. "I like the way you think," his smile widens even further. "Shame I'm gonna have to kill you."

He lifts up a hand and I'm running before he presses the button. I round the corner and the alley explodes.

      I love my job.

      ---

I'm on top of a mountain, looking down on the valley. The city is sprawled out below. I take a breath, feel the cool mountain breeze drifting through my lair.

Some days, it pays to be evil.

I turn around to where my mom and dad are sitting at a stone table, looking around and seeming confused. My brother is there, too, but he just looks hungover.

I go to sit across from them at the table. My mom's eyes narrow as she gets her bearings, and I can feel her light-based aura sparking unpleasantly. I try not to flinch.

"It's in our best interests," I say carefully, "to wipe out all of the assassins as quickly as possible. They'll be gathering at the convention centre. Now, we can't all go in -"

"Why is that, exactly?" my mom snaps.

I roll my eyes. "You're a Reader. They'll spot Your Holiness from a mile away."

"How exactly did you get into this mess?" asks my dad.

I paint a look of surprise onto my face. "You mean you don't know?" I ask incredulously. "Our family - your side of the family - have been Assassins going back hundreds of years! Well," I trail off, "The last one was in the sixteenth century." Good times, as I recall. Reincarnation can be so much fun.

My mom's aura is sparking angrily. I try to ignore it.

"Look, we need to wipe as many people out in one swoop as we can." I have a thought.

"Mom... isn't your cousin doing the catering?" I ask.

She looks at me suspiciously. "He is. Why?"

I let a smile form. "Have you ever heard of Chalk Tuna?"

So ends the 100th post special edition of Things to Run Away From Really Fast! I've been meaning to write this up for ages...

The only thing I can remember from last night's dream is that I had an extra pair of running shoes. They were orange.

I scrutinize my real life appearance for effectiveness as an assassin. I conclude that I will easily be able to infiltrate the corporation.

I get an apartment in Halifax that's mostly identical to my old one. Apparently I'm subletting from someone else, though, as I keep finding old-lady clothes around the place. It's also furnished, which is nice, even if the furniture is ugly as hell.

I'm Dean Winchester. I help Sam choose a truck and trailer so he can go drive off into the prairie sunset. The theme of this dream is basically that it's time to let Sam go on his own. This is a much more peaceful scenario than the Supernatural finale.

I'm a guy with a mullet, driving a semi-trailer. I'm about to be accused of a crime I didn't do, and I'm trying to skew the evidence in my favor before they think to come after me. Maybe I had an in-dream premonition, or maybe I'm on another dream-loop.

I'm mad at the really cold weather, then I'm mad at the really hot weather, then I'm mad at the really cold weather, and oh my God, that really is freezing. Warmth now please.

I'm living with my second cousins, and also fighting my brother for one of the basement suites. His friend gets it. Damn.

One of my cousins finds out something about my character (I don't know what), and she takes her sisters and leaves.

I'm driving along the highway, now, but the lane I need to be in keeps changing, and I'm cutting people off. I end up at a McDonalds, because there's something I need to pick up there.

I'm inside. The place is empty, and isn't being used as a restaurant. Something about a box. I check my inventory and see a vat of cotton that I have to sell later.

The city is being evacuated. I have to hurry. I go upstairs, blue and red lightsabers drawn. I wonder if my cousins could have been party-members if I hadn't scared them off. Oh well, I'm still near the beginning of the game.

I enter one of the offices and fight the people inside. I win.
