    1. Old Entries 5 False Awakening Leads To Lucidity

      We're Drinking and it is me ashton mike myles charlie and JP Mike Myles Charlie JP decide to go somewhere and Mike asks me to watch his dog. I'm walking into the apartments with it when some guy yells hey thats my dog. He runs up and my mom and albert come out of the apartment to see what all the racket is about. The guy starts to go into a story of how he lost his dog and all this and I know I have to give him his dog. The guy decides to kick it for a bit and this just makes me more mad. Eventually I have ashton kick him out. as were walking with him from the kitchen to the door I notice he is paying albert for the dog and i say that the money should be mine. I wake up in bed. relieved that the whole dog incident had been a dream I look around the room and see myles is waking up as is zach. We are in some house in jette and Its a house I lived in at one point but is not mine right now. Seemed like a mix between my grams and moms house. we go into the living room and get charlie and JP and some other kid that reminds me of maxwell. We go back to the room, which is located where my grams and ashtons bedroom is. just then some step mom of sorts or like just married in something like that, steps into the room and tells us we have to leave. When she leaves we complain about her, then myles and I say were just gonna jump out the windows to get to the whip. then I remember something and ask chuck to front me some money l till tomorrow, he says of course and unzips his back pack. myles jumps out the window on the wall parallel to the door and I wait for chuck before I jump out of the window on the other wall. Myles Is already in the car when I hop in the seat behind him and JP in front and chuck in back with me. We start to drive back to poison from jette when myles pulls out some bottles, one of smirnoff and one bud lite, which he gives me and I down. After finishing it I notice the car in front of us is a cop and JP was chugging the bottle. The cop then pulls over a bit like he wants us to pass him. myles doesn't and he turns on his lights and another on comes pulling up and blocks the other half the road while the first cop pulls all the way over. Myles just drives between the to and up over the hill before swanness .we see one more cop at three dog down and then when we start going over the bridge some metal barricade of sorts, that looks like something out of a playstation tony hawk game, is blocking most the road. myles barely makes it between the barricade and the rails. when I see this barricade I get Deja Vu because it was in the dream I just had about Isis. I look at chuck, is this a dream i think, and I lash out telekineticly with my mind to test it. Right when I do I realise it is a dream and some laughing comes from the front of the seat. everything goes black. I'm not scared I know i'm just inside my head. Then I open my eyes awake.
    2. Long Lucid

      This wasn't my first lucid dream, but it was the most vivid and longest lasting so far (felt like 10 minutes). I actually had two different episodes of lucid dreams. The first wasn't fully lucid, I was in the Noodle Express or something like it. For no reason, I started to wonder if I was dreaming. I thought about just blasting the guy behind the counter in the face to see if I was dreaming, but didn't just in case. Anyways, I continued about not really knowing if I was dreaming, and then I had a false awakening. I thought I woke up in reality, so I did the DEILD technique and went straight into a lucid dream. I rolled out of my body, stood up, and looked around the room. I did some RC's by looking at the furniture, turning away, and then turning back. They would all be rearranged or absent. I proceeded to walk downstairs and out the back door of this house. Outside there were a few massive raging rivers in a line to my left. I walked along side them and observed the scenery. There were rolling mountains with massive rivers and lakes weaving in-between them; the sky was red and orange. I stood there for what felt like a couple minutes just looking. I turned back and the path I had taken changed. The river had slightly flooded it and now there were trees in the way. I started running through the water and I could feel it splashing on my legs and arms as if I were awake. As I went by the trees I lightly ran my hands across them and they felt just like trees. I went back inside the house (don't know why I didn't stay outside and fly or do something cool) and things started to get weird. My friend and his girlfriend were there and they thought I was stoned. I went along with it and joked about how high I looked. I looked away from them and a trail of their image followed and then faded. I went back upstairs, and I could tell I wouldn't be lucid much longer. Grainy black dots started to appear through everything as if I was starting to see my inner eyelids. I then closed my eyes, thought about myself in my bed, shook my head and I instantly woke up with the details of this lucid dream crystal clear
    3. False Awakening in a Non-Lucid Dream?

      I had a (kind of) false awakening in a non-lucid dream. Not sure if this would be considered a false awakening or not, though.

      Keep in mind that this was a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago. I'm shocked I still remember it.

      I was dreaming. That's all I really remember. I dreamed of waking up, but some odd things were happening. Everybody's power was flickering on and off. The rest was really fuzzy.

      All I remember is that everybody's lights were flickering on and off, and making some clicking noise as they did. It wasn't really a nightmare, just some odd dream.

      EDIT: Now that I think about it, I have a feeling I was slightly lucid for a few seconds during this dream!

    4. Two lucid dreams in a row

      There was going to be some sort of party at my friend Jesse's house, but I couldn't find my car, so I asked my other friend DJ to drive me there.

      In the Anime Club room, my ex-girlfriend was there, but she was deaf. She started singing, but would pause every now and then as if she were trying to remember how to hit certain notes. It sounded pretty good, but wasn't the best thing ever. Class started so I wasn't able to give her advice.

      I had a false awakening. I walked into my living room and started looking for a sticky note to write my DJ entry on, but then I remembered to do my reality check. Lo and behold, I was dreaming. It was dark, so I couldn't look at my hands to stabilize myself, and when I tried to speak, I woke up. I could hear my sister being reeeeeeally loud in the other room so I probably couldn't stabilize because of that.

    5. Fragmented excerpts!

      Due to alcohol, I only gained some fragments, again impressionist in nature...sometimes I feel like Monet is in my head!
      Fragment 1
      On a coach with a large number of people I know, drinking...surprisingly! The weather was hot,almost like it was a holiday transfer coach!However, far from being at ease. Person 1 proceded to cause me unease through repeated laughing. I couldn't entirely remember why although it probably eminates from a socially awkward situation that had occured the previous day. Again, as a repeated motif for me colours and clothes were particulary visible.
      Fragment 2
      Being somewhat aware that I was on the Titanic,although not worried.This is perhaps due to the coverage of the diaster in the media at the moment-suddenly however, I had a somewhat false awakening but dreaming that I 'loved' my friend!

      That's all I got but looking forward to some more dreaming later!
    6. Lucid Dream 1

      I'm not sure where I was, but people were all panicked because apparently the moon was falling into the Earth. Realizing how ridicules that was I became lucid. Immediately after becoming lucid everything went white and I heard a ringing sound after a few seconds of that the ringing suddenly got vary intense for about a second. Then I was in my bed but I could barely move and when did I got sucked back into bed. I could also hear voices but I wasn't paying vary much attention to it. I manged to pinch my nose and I could breath. After a few seconds of trying to get out of my bed I woke up.

      This dream caught me off guard I hope next time I will actually be able to do something.
    7. Hunting With The Winchesters

      Wow...I haven't been on in forever. I'm so good at this "consistency" thing.

      Anyways, I'm back, and I'll celebrate my return by posting a couple of recent dreams I've had!


      I'm driving down the road with my mom, at an intersection that I recognize from real life. There are other people sitting in the back of my car, but I can't remember who they are (probably my brother and sister).

      We're going on a trip to my best friend's aunt's house and staying there for the weekend
      (I've stayed at her aunt's house several times in real life, so nothing unusual here), but we can't find the place. After awkwardly driving around for a bit, I finally recognize our destination.

      I point to the run down little house
      (looks absolutely nothing like my BFF's aunt's house in real life, but oh well) and say to mom, "Look! Right there!"

      My mom kind of looks at the house questioningly and says, "That's her house? You sure?" I tell her that I am, and she drives the car onto their backyard.


      I'm not sure exactly what happens in-between these two parts...it wasn't a dream switch, because pretty much the same story line was being followed, but I can't recall a lot of details. Anyways...

      Somehow, a character from the show Supernatural named Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) shows up. There are giant flies inside the house, and they were gross. Dean explains to me that they're demon bugs set out to destroy humans.

      Great.

      Anyways, I guess somehow I'm Dean's assistant or something, or at least that's what it feels like. Dean seems really angry or upset the whole time he's trying to get rid of these bugs, but he won't tell me what's wrong.

      He goes outside into the backyard to try and exterminate the last of the bugs, and I follow him outside to help. He sees that I'm following him, and he turns on me angrily.

      "No. Back inside."

      I shake my head no. I'm going to help him whether he likes it or not. He doesn't say anything else, just points towards the house and keeps giving me angry looks.

      I refuse to leave, and he sighs. He knows I'm not going anywhere. That's when a random woman (don't know who she was, she had wavy red hair, though) ran outside, followed by another character, Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki).

      Now other people are walking around the house, and we're trying to keep the whole 'bug' things under wraps. People are watching us from the house, and we kind of all just awkwardly wave and give them the thumbs up to assure them that everything is fine. We just want them to leave us alone.

      I don't think we ever even stopped the bugs...they just sort of left. The atmosphere changed and everything was happier, like we had succeeded. I specifically remember hanging out with a ton of people in the house and laughing and having a good time, and Dean was actually happy. I could tell he like the family environment.

      I remember him saying, "This is nice, isn't it? Y'know...being around people and stuff."


      Then I wake into a False Awakening...

      I'm laying down in the same spot that I fell asleep in. In real life, I had spent the night at a friend's house along with a couple other people. As I'm laying in the bed, I notice that I'm holding a baby doll in my arms. It's really creepily realistic and acts just like a baby. I shrug and say, "Huh, must have gone shopping in my sleep again." My friend is sitting next to me and reaches out to touch the doll's face.

      The doll starts crying and goes, "You slapped me! You slapped me!". My friend looks at it in panic, because she barely touched it, and she doesn't know what to do.


      I wake up for real, and I feel like I should still have the doll with me...
    8. Freak Out, Fly, Repeat

      This semi-lucid bugged the hell out of me. I was in my room upstairs, lying in bed, and then I heard my dad screaming from downstairs in a terrifying manner. I became semi-lucid, so I just decided to jump out the window and fly away, but I got stuck mid-air. Then I was suddenly in my bed again, with my dad still screaming, but this time from down the hallway outside my room! I flipped out and took a running jump out the window, in an effort to get past my dad. Once again I tried to fly, once again I got stuck, and once again I ended up in my bed, and at that point, I could feel my dad's presence right there in the bedroom. I felt something, presumably my dad, move beside me as I jumped out the window a third and final time.

      When I woke up in my bed after the third time, I was scared that I was experiencing another repeat.

      This was a total of three false awakenings, which were probably all part of the same dream because of the similar contents.

      It was early in the morning; my guess is that the time was around 7:00 AM. I was lying in my bed with my eyes closed; the unusually light and airy duvet cover was up to a little below my chin, and the bedroom was pitch-black. No light whatsoever was coming in from the single window on the wall, which was on the wall opposite of where I was facing: I was on my stomach, my head half-sunk into my pillow but turned towards the door of my room. The door was open, which led to a hallway adjacent to the entrance of my room; if you were to turn left, walk a few feet and turn right, the stairs were right there. They led downstairs to the main level of the house. There was a very, very faint yellow light coming from the hallway, most likely from downstairs, although there was no apparent light source - it was just a faded wash of a slight lighting over the entire room.

      In bed I felt very tired, like a stone. I didn't want to get up but I knew that it was time for school, so I slowly pushed the covers back; they bunched up like an accordion - I usually fold them back, but I didn't catch onto the fact that I was dreaming quite yet. It was when I actually stood up that I suddenly became aware enough to question if I was in a dream. I didn't do an RC, but I simply knew that I was asleep at a fairly low level of awareness. I looked at my night table, which was right next to my bed (and therefore beside me once I got out of bed), and noticed I didn't have an alarm clock at all there, even though there should've been one.

      I didn't say anything, though.

      Moments later, once I was out of bed, I heard my dad in the lower level of the house shouting at me in a very stern, tense voice to "get downstairs!"

      This terrified me, and I had this creeping feeling that the dream was going to become a nightmare if I just stood there. So I opened the door of my room a bit more to go through it, and I took a running leap into the hallway. The hallway was adjacent to my bedroom, with the wall opposite of the door only being a half-wall. Past that, if you were to look down, you'd be seeing the first floor. On the wall past this half-wall was a big window, and this is where I jumped into. I leaped onto the half-wall with a big jump and then glided right into the glass; however, I didn't smash it; I merely went through it like a ghost.

      It was very dark outside so I couldn't see practically anything, but I was beginning to lose lucidity anyways. I flapped my arms and kicked my legs once I got three or four feet outside the window, which didn't do much - I didn't pick up speed or even move forward that much. I was just suspended.


      I woke up in my bed.

      Or, did I?

      In actuality, I had just entered a false awakening, and it was the same scenario as before. This time, however, my dad's voice didn't come from downstairs, but in the hallway, quite a few feet away from the door of my room. I ran and jumped through the window again, still slightly conscious, but met the same predicament where I was floating, getting nowhere.

      I woke up one more time into the dream but this time, my dad's voice was coming from inside my room, which was very dark like before. It was a whisper this time, situated behind me (I was lying on my side facing my room's door again) - I didn't waste any time bolting out of bed and making a total beeline for the window. The same thing happened and at this point, I had just enough awareness left to start freaking out, wondering this time if my dad would be able to reach through the window and grab my foot, pulling me back in...

      Then I woke up for real.

      I did many reality checks after that P.O.S. dream.

    9. The Beginning of fOrceez Dream Yoga!

      I’ve been trying to practice dream yoga, I think it’s going reasonably well. It took me about 4 weeks to see any results. My first lucid came 4 weeks after starting to practice dream yoga. The week after that, I had 3 lucids and this week, i’ve had 2. It’s probably too soon to say that this lucid rate is steady, but I definitely feel that there’s a lot of progress.

      My lucid from this morning:

      WBTB, DILD

      I sit up in my bed to realise that I’m in a dream. Oh. I couldn’t remember falling asleep at all. Oh well.

      It’s dark.. the sun hasn’t come up yet. My room looks perfectly normal, even my bedroom dream sign (no desk) wasn’t visible. I’ve been reading Lucid Dreaming: Gateway to the Inner Self lately and remember that it mentions intermediate lucid dreamers explore their dream location upon getting lucid before going to explore. I make my way into the living room where I see my friend’s computer set out on the floor, the sofa-bed is pulled out and my brother is sitting in an office chair with his back to me. I didn’t think to interact with him, but I made a mental note to interact with dream characters in my next lucid dream.

      Having little hold my interest within the house, I walk towards the door leading to the backyard. Not noticing that my dog wasn’t waiting outside for me, I ponder whether I should put shoes on.. finally deciding that it was a dream and so it shouldn’t matter, I walk into my backyard. Surprisingly, it’s a lot lighter outside, being lit up by the moon but pouring down rain.

      I decide that I want to change the weather, something I’ve tried but never been able to do before. Slowly, the rain eases up and within 20 seconds, the sun is out shining. Satisfied, I walk onto the grass and start flying.

      Flying in this dream was much different to any other.. It was like the only thing that was keeping my up was my speed. If I slowed down, it felt like I would fall out of the sky (kinda like flying a plane?). I fly over many rooftops, sometimes almost falling out of the sky due to day drea- .. Can it still be called daydreaming if you’re already in a dream..? huh..


      Due to the mindless flying with no objective, I lose lucidity and end up beating up a few goons.
    10. Saving DV Members

      I am scrolling through the "post photos of yourself" thread, and each photo is overlaid with an icon that says "rescued" and "lost". As I scroll, the ratio of lost members to rescued members is increasing. I right-click on a member's name and a context menu appears which shows options such as: leave for dead, sell to the Russian mafia, convert to the new DV, and a couple other menu options I can't recall.

      As quickly as I can, I hold Ctrl and click each lost member's profile to open them in a new tab so I can send each one a message, but the tabs close just as quick as I open them. I click a few of them a second time, but they open momentarily and then close again.

      I wake up (FA) screaming and throw my laptop against the wall, and then I woke up again and realize that I had just thrown my pillow on the floor.

    11. A rather epic FA leads to a flash of lucidity

      I am clicking around the 'net and almost fall asleep in my chair. I decide that I should hop in bed and take a quick nap. The time is ~9:45pm. I lay down and fall asleep very quickly.

      I awaken from a minimalistic dream, standing in darkness. I realize that I had just awakened, but I must still have my eyes closed because I cannot see anything at all. Knowing this, I decide to make an attempt at DEILD. I concentrate on keeping my eyes closed and then I try to remember where I was just a moment ago. I remember that I was laying in my bed, trying to remember what the dream was about. I cannot recall even the smallest detail, other than I was just dreaming.

      Suddenly, I make the realization that I am not laying in my bed, but I am standing. Before I can gather myself together and stabilize, I wake up.

      I try hard to immediately settle down, but my eyes are wide open and I am too alert and excited to re-enter the dream state, much less return to sleep right away.
    12. FA Dream Within A Dream

      FA Dream Within A Dream

      I dreamed I had awakened from a dream with pictures of that dream. The pictures had me in them, but I was missing my head. I thought it had something to do with forgetting part of my dream.

      I tried to remember the dream hoping that my head would appear if I could remember it. One of the pictures had an orange and white harlequin pattern which wasn't there before. I thought maybe I just hadn't noticed the pattern before, but then another picture had the same pattern behind me. I realized that I was dreaming the pattern into the background of the pictures from the dream I had falsely awakened from.
    13. Air-show in a bus

      Daniel and I are standing on the footpath beside the road that comes past our house. we see first a single flying speed-boat, then another, both had a loud engine roar. Next came an extremely large airship, powered by it's two very large (e.g. 1km wingspan) and powerful red wings. It had a very synchronised and strong down stroke. At this point it became apparent that we were watching a Japanese air-show. Next, a young, anamatronic Japanese girl walks past us, followed by another robot girl who was fatter. It stops and looks at me and tried to lean in to give me a kiss. I use my hands to push her away. As I do this, Melanie appears from behind Daniel, and says to me "did you just...?"
      I find myself climbing up a rope in a place that is called 'hell'. The floor is red and there are flashing lights everywhere. I somehow know that the Japanese are responsible for the transformation of this place.
      I believe I have just woken up from my sleep on the bus. Somehow I suspect that this is a false awakening. I urge myself to reality check, but before I get the chance I become lucid. I start to think about whether I'm going to wake up, and to my surprise I have remained asleep. I wonder what I should do. Because the dream still doesn't feel very realistic, I decide to try touching some objects. All I can think of is touching the glass window, so I lean my head against it - it is cold. I look at the bus driver and the sides of the bus. It still feels very unrealistic. I get the sensation that I am drooling, but I don't do anything about it because I fear a distraction might make me loose my lucidity. The bus stops and I get off. I go inside a shed with some people inside. I'm not sure why. but they are hanging large spiders (the size of dinner plates) up on the ceiling in two rows. At the end of each row are some dead apes, with their arms hanging down. Both men and women are picking out the largest spiders, and taking them down. I watch one lady unhook an ape and hold it's dead body.

    14. The Obvious False Awakening...

      I can only remember one dream from last night. Tried some WILDs throughout the night without any great success but mainly focussed on doing a mixture of MILD and COBRA method (which I'd read about earlier that day and thought sounded interesting). I could definitely feel my brain being targeted and am going to keep trying that to see what happens.

      I was in a room that looked like something from Aliens but less bleak and more colouful. Sort of 80's futuristic. As it turns out, there were aliens except they looked like normal people. I had a Nerf battle with one and shot her straight in the eye, where it stuck to her eyeball. We all had a laugh about it and seemed to forget that they were aliens then went outside.

      Outside was a busy street and I was doing these high, slow jumps and bouncing off walls and people. I did some graceful backflips then jumped up really high and slammed down into the ground and wanted to turn into a puddle like the T-1000. Or Alex Mack.

      At that point I
      realised I was dreaming and did everything in my power to remain calm so as not to wake myself up like I have the past couple of times. I looked at Nooks who was now next to me and tried to really focus my attention on her and all the details. I rubbed her jumper to feel the texture and then rubbed my hands together but the dream was fading quickly. As a last resort I shouted “increase lucidity” which worked a little bit so I sat up and began to do it again but realised I was awake. Nooks asked me what I was doing and told me I wasn't asleep anymore and I felt a bit silly.

      I look around then stood up and went into the house.

      Because I’d been in the back yard.

      Because it was a ridiculously obvious False Awakening which I didn’t RC!


      Inside the house my uncle was making pancakes with an iron.
    15. A brief encounter and an FA.

      Tonight I decided to try out Galantamine and Choline - which resulted in very vivid dreams and remembering more dreams than usual.

      One of them, although not lucid, really impressed me. It was an FA and it went like this.
      I woke up, looked at my alarm clock and realized it was almost 7 AM. I usually get up at 5:30 and go to work, so I panicked thinking I overslept.
      I rushed to the shower, washed and when I stepped out I woke up (for real this time).
      I looked at the alarm clock and realized it was only 3 AM.
      It was a very short dream, but it was certainly the most vivid FA I have ever had - it seemed to incorporate what I read about Galantamine making you sleepy/drowsy during the day. (Making me think I overslept)


      Anyway, on to the lucid!

      I found myself standing in a two-room building, it was very small and I noticed I was dreaming, due to my vision being blurry/wavy - almost as if I was underwater.
      I knelt down to stabilize by touching the carpet - first I looked at it, and my vision became super clear - it felt like I could see all the tiny details in the fabric. Then I tried touching it, closing my eyes to emphasize the feeling.

      I struggled a bit to open my eyes, and I was afraid for a moment that I was waking up.
      I succeeded and figured I needed to stabilize a little more.
      I looked at my hands, my fingers were sort of squirming around making them seem snake-like.
      I rubbed my hands together while looking at them.

      The dream now seemed stable, so I went outside.
      Outside I saw a bunch of DCs walking in a market-like square, I calmly walked around wanting to interact with one of them.
      I finally picked someone to talk to, she was holding what seemed like a bag of bread - I walked up to her and said "Hi, how are you?".
      She replied by saying "I'm having lunch!" and shoving me away with her arm - this surprised me a bit, and I woke up.

      I stayed still to re-enter the dream, and I found myself back in the small house.
      There was a girl with long brown hair, asking me which shirt I would like - a brown or a black.
      The shirts had numbers on them, like the ones used at some sport events - turned out that's exactly what they were.
      I chose the black one, not knowing that meant I had to take part in a long-distance run (I really dislike running!).

      I went out and lined up for the event. When we started, I was lacking behind after a very short time.
      I figured I could run faster if I expected to - this was my dream after all.
      It took quite an effort at first, I had to really push my legs to move faster and faster, but after a while it seemed natural.
      I ended up winning the race, and the excitement woke me up.

      I re-entered the same dream a couple of times that night, but they were either very short or I don't remember a lot of detail.
      When I finally woke up to get started with my daily routine, I found that the galantamine had not made me any more drowsy than usual - might be the excitement of having a very nice LD
