Method: WBTB after 4 hours of sleep, Dream Journal prior night’s dreams from voice recordings, mantras (written and spoken), then back in bed and meditate with imagery until I’m consciously awake with my body asleep. Once in the void, I started to do internal and external body energy transfer exercises. By this point in time it’s been about 1 ½ hours since I first woke for the WBTB routine. I could feel ‘the vibrations’, so I attempted an OBE exit, which worked, but I paused for too long beside my bed, and I was sucked back into my body. I was a bit disappointed with this, but it was still early in the night, and I knew there were some lucid dreams ahead of me, so I fell asleep. Time for fun! In this first lucid dream I was holding my wife’s hand as she happily skipped along. We were in a long hallway inside somebody’s house. I couldn’t help but notice she was in her early 20’s looking very young and beautiful (she’s 48 in waking life and beautiful). This made me instantly lucid (DILD - Dream Induced Lucid Dream). I said to my wife, “Hop on my back and let’s go for a piggyback ride!”, and she happily did so. After a couple steps, I leapt into the air and we were now flying piggyback style! We flew through the living room, and then into another room where my wife said, “What’s going on here? We’re flying. How’s this possible?” I said, “We’re dreaming!”, and she replied, “Oh, okay!” I then flew back into the living room, and by this point I was flying horizontal, and she was holding on tight! The entire living room was full of my family members, and my nephew Kent said as he laughed, “That’s awesome!” Then unexpectedly, somebody grabbed my right pant leg, and I came to a complete stop and we stood up. I spun around to see who stopped me from flying, and an older woman (my age) was standing there looking a bit guilty. I said to her, “Why did you stop us from flying?” She fumbled with words, and then I said, “Was something wrong with what we were doing?” She then said, “You should be keeping a lower profile.”, and I replied, “But we were just having fun. There’s nothing wrong with that!” Her face was turning a bit red with embarrassment and she turned and walked away. I grabbed my wife by the hand and we followed her for a couple of feet to where she had nowhere further to walk in the living room. I then asked her, “Who are you?” She said, “I’m a relative!”, so I asked, “A relative of mine or my wife’s?” She said, “Of your wife’s. I go back a long ways. I’m German, and there were three of us.” I said, “Well then, what’s your name?” She still wouldn’t tell me. I then had a false awakening, and I sat up in bed to voice record this lucid dream, but I saw a very pretty blonde woman standing in the darkness of my room (it wasn’t my bedroom, I was someplace else). She looked like she was glowing with soft white light, and she looked very much like the woman I recently saw in another lucid dream (black eyes, no whites, very slender, with Barbie doll perfect skin, and long blonde hair). She didn’t seem to see me, so I stood up in the darkness, and said, “Hello?” She looked at me and said, ”Huh, who’s there?” and I said my name, “It’s me!”, and she said, “Oh, it’s you?” She seemed very shocked with this. She then morphed into woman with curly blonde hair with a more roundish face, and she now had glasses on. Her eyes also changed from being completely black to having irises with whites. I thought why did she morph, I liked her look? I realized I had my CPAP mask on, so I tore it off my face and threw it on the ground. I then floated towards her in standing position. She turned around and quickly ran out of the bedroom and down the hallway, and I followed closely behind. I just wanted to talk to her. She ran into a kitchen. All the lights were off in the house, but she was glowing white so there was some light around her. She stopped by the kitchen table and faced me. She distorted her mouth, and her teeth went all crooked and missing. I began to think that maybe she was scared of me. I floated up to her, and she grabbed a knife off the table and stuck it up to the handle into my stomach. I didn’t feel anything, except some slight pressure, but my feelings were hurt. I guess I shouldn’t go floating behind somebody in a dark house (I must have been real freaky looking/acting). I then went into another false awakening except when I opened my eyes; I was in outer space travelling at high speed. I forced myself awake, and I voice recorded these Lucid dreams. In this third lucid dream I was standing outside my elementary school. There were a bunch of children and teenagers around me. I decided to head into the school and see what’s going on in the auditorium. As I was walking down the school hallway, a beautiful teenage girl with curly blonde hair, who I didn’t recognize, walked up beside me and put her arm around my waist. Boom, lucid! Another DILD! This kind of stuff just doesn’t happen when you’re old gnarly man like me (unless it’s your daughter). I put my arm around her should and drew her in close as we walked. Me: “Who are you?” Her: “I don’t know?” Me: “Well perhaps you are somebody I know?” Her: “Yes.” Me: “Are you my daughter?” Her: “Yes, yes I am!” She had a huge smile on her face! I still didn’t recognize her, but she had my daughter’s voice. Me: “Okay then, you must prove it. What does daddy like to nibble.” Here: Grinning and quietly she says, “Bellybuttons.” Laugh, laugh, giggle, giggle! When my daughter was a child I use to say to her, “Where’s the button? I want to nibble on that button!” then I would chase her, as she frantically ran away screaming, until I caught her and kissed her button, then she would always giggle. My daughter than said to me, “Dad, I want a glass of Coke.”, so we went to the Coke dispensing machine in the corner of the gym and I pushed the Coke button. Coke started pouring out of the nozzle, but there was no glass there, and it ran all over the floor. My daughter laughed, and said, “Dad, you have to put a glass in there first!” I could feel my lucidity failing, so I said, “Let’s walk around for a bit.”, but I then went into a false awakening, and I wanted to voice record my lucid dream with my daughter before I forgot the details, but then I realized I was dreaming because I was outside on the street with my coffee table in front of me. I forced myself awake, but I went into another false awakening, and then another one, and then finally I woke up for real and I voice recorded the lucid dream. I should have engaged the false awakenings and had more lucid fun with my daughter rather than trying to wake, but there’s always that risk of forgetting if you continue on for too long.
I'm walking along the street when a shop catches my attention and I start to browse what they have on display. The shop interior is open to the street, separated from the sidewalk only by a waist-high display counter—it's peculiar that storefronts in my dreams are so frequently based on the Bangkok model, even though there may be nothing else distinctly Asian about the products or proprietors. On the display counter facing the street is a variety of small bottles of essential oil. I examine the labels, and recognize a few types that I had purchased online recently. Would it have been better to buy them here and save on shipping? But I then I would be stuck with the sales tax, which might work out to even more. From the conversation between the couple running the place, I get the impression that business has been slow today. I've spent enough time browsing that I feel like I ought to buy something, if only not to disappoint the proprietors. Besides, it will be good for the local economy. There's nothing in particular that I need, but I'm sure I can find something here I will use or enjoy. Looking up from the essential oils on the counter, I see that there are several shelves of shampoo and conditioner on the side walls in front. That would be a practical purchase... but when I see the prices I hesitate. I don't like paying through the nose for bath products. I venture inside the store to see what else is available. The back wall contains a display shelf for books and magazines. Most of them seem to be about yoga. My eye falls on the title of one issue in particular: What Are the Benefits of Yoga Even When Doing it For No Reasons? I reflect that the title is biased; it implies that there is benefit. And the "no reasons" thing reminds me about the attitude so often demonstrated by American Buddhists regarding meditation, the idea that having any kind of reason suggests attachment, so one should meditate without a reason or goal... with the vague assumption that it is somehow good for you anyway. Well, I'm not interested in yoga, and I'm certainly not interested in practicing yoga or meditation for no reason. My priorities are quite different, and very well-defined: I'm interested in whatever can help me improve my dreaming. Gradually, I make a counter-clockwise sweep of the small store interior. On the left wall, a variety of objects are hanging on display. One catches my eye, a rectangle of black silk printed with a delicate pattern of flower buds. I take it down for a closer look, and note that the silk is pieced together in a curious, distinctive way. "What is this?" I ask the proprietors. The man of the couple says, "You could use it for anything. You could even tear it up and just use the cloth." I think—but don't say aloud—that the price tag is $90, an awful lot for a piece of scrap cloth! I take another look at the unusual stitching, and it reminds me of something. "Isn't it one of those Japanese cloths used for wrapping?" I'm sure I remember reading about these. The woman affirms that it is, and seems surprised that I know about it. She clarifies that it is designed specifically to go around a 10x10x10" package. The art of making them is hardly practiced anymore, she says. I wonder if she means doing the wrapping properly—if the cloths were so rare, why would there be a random one for sale in this shop? And I'm sure I've seen them for sale before, if only in a catalogue. I decide not to purchase the cloth as I don't have an appropriately sized 10x10x10" box to go with it. I'm about to peruse the essential oils again and pick something at random, when we are interrupted by a government raid. There is a moment when I wonder if I should avert this plot point entirely, but I let it happen—after all, what is the worst they can do, try to lock me up? And that won't amount to much. Instinctively I am aware of my invulnerability. The scene shifts here, and now we are outdoors on a paved area, like a wide driveway, on top of a hill. However, I am aware that I am not far from the shop I was visiting; it is right at the bottom of the hill. That agent is back again. What is this, the third time? He has threatened me before, but it has not gone well, so now he is threatening my host, the male shopkeeper. "I'll investigate every client," he warns. "No one can stand up to that kind of scrutiny." I feel obliged to defend the poor guy and intervene. The agent should be dealing with me. I'm the real target; he has no business taking his frustrations out on random people who are accidentally associated with me. I get in his face and confront him. "Why do you keep getting involved?" I still remember distinctly that this is the third time we have met, and that the previous two encounters have not ended well for him. This won't, either. I conclude my train of thought aloud: "You like it. You must like being humiliated." The agent lies down on the ground, as if in demonstration of my point. I am annoyed and start berating him. I forget what I said initially, but I conclude, "And there's your shit-kicking foot." To make my point perfectly clear, I enact the metaphor literally. The agent's left leg extends to impossible length, his shoe and sock disappear, and his bare foot kicks a shit in a high arc away from us. To emphasize what has just happened, I ensure that it leaves a stain on his foot. Afterwards the agent gets up to go, and I re-emphasize the pointlessness of his continued investigation of me. "My activities are confined to this circle. I'm not involved in anything in the wider world." I am aware that the 'wider world' is not even real for me; that I exist here within the circle of my own attention. This doesn't fully manifest as dream awareness, just the sense of my ontological difference from everyone else in this environment. The agents, about four of them in total, all turn to go. They have three dogs with them. I laugh when one dog darts aside, seemingly smelling something in the bushes, and scarfs it down. Knowing the appetites of dogs, I assume it must have found the shit that was kicked. I want to get back to the narrative from which I was so rudely interrupted; I still have business in the store at the bottom of the hill. I decide to fly for speed—and figure if the agents see me flying overhead, they might take my arguments more seriously and think twice before trying to interfere again. I swoop downhill at great speed, thinking about how I use the word "swooping," but when birds of prey dive like this, it is called "stooping." I realize I'm not sure precisely how such birds break their fall, so when I reach the bottom of the hill, I circle counter-clockwise twice to regain control before lightly letting my feet contact the ground again. The whole flight felt very graceful, and I am proud of myself, convinced that I am starting to get good at this. I'm not just flying anymore, I'm flying with style! I momentarily wonder if the proprietors of the store will be startled to see me flying. As I reach the ground, however, I realize that I have lost interest in the original narrative—which was incredibly mundane, let's admit—and now want to write my report on what just happend. I still don't have a clear sense that I'm dreaming, as such, yet I understand distinctly that I need to wake up. It takes a bit of deliberate effort to push through the layers—they feel almost like a physical fog—that divide me from waking consciousness, but I persevere until I am sure I am definitely awake... at least as sure as one can ever be.
In a cave, a young modern couple were confronted by two women, guards of something sacred who'd been hunting this man down. They fought, and now those two sacred guards are lying on the ground, one unconscious. The man rises to float slightly in the air, and the guard who's still conscious believes this is a sign he's about to kill her - but he just scoops up the woman he's with, carrying her in his arms, floats over where that guard is lying, and keeps going. He says to the guard, "Seriously, go away." Then he phases through the cave wall, where a mural is painted in gold. As he passes through the wall, the guard momentarily sees a different face overlaying his, someone she recognizes and greatly respects - either a religious authority who's recently died, or a god, or both.
I became spontaneously lucid in this dream for no particular reason. My mom was standing in front of the backdoor at my childhood home. It was early morning, and the sun was just starting to come up. Dear mom was very nicely dressed, and I thought she was maybe getting ready to go to church. I told mom, “I’m lucid! Let’s fly!” She shook her head no. I said, “Watch me, I’ll show you how.” I then flew through the living room, around the staircase, and I returned to the backdoor, landing effortlessly in front of her. She wasn’t at all interested, and then she walked into the living room, sat down at the couch, and she started to read her Bible. I said, “Mom, how can you always be reading your Bible? You must know it inside and out by now?” She gave me a look of desperation, and then she laid down on the couch and went to sleep. Feeling determined to get my mom flying; I began to shake her shoulder. She came to, but she was now my sister. I said, “Sister, let’s fly!” My sister excitedly said, “Sure, okay!” I grabbed onto both of her hands to fly, with a plan to float upwards, but then the furniture moved towards us and it was now too crowded to fly. I said, “Let’s go over by the stairs and try there,” and my sister happily skipped along behind me (My sister is such a happy girl), but then the dream faded, and I was back in ‘the void’. I was consciously awake with my body asleep. I couldn’t see anything, but I could hear lots of activity going on around me. The voices echoed, and it sounded like I was standing in a crowded airport. There was a woman announcing messages over the speakers, but I couldn’t make out what she was saying (typical airport). It felt like I was floating around in my bed, and then a woman right beside me said, “Which of these people are going to meet with the three creators?” Then all noise instantly stopped, and I heard somebody walk out of my bedroom, slam the door, and stomp down the hallway. I immediately opened my eyes, and nobody was there. It was night time, and all was quiet. I was then lying in bed feeling really pumped and excited about this dream. Very cool stuff!

I had another lucid dream last night. I'm super happy about that. I seem to be back on a roll again. I woke up at 3:00. At first I thought my alarm had awoken me and that it was actually 5:00. I was mentally preparing myself to get up, when I glanced down at the clock and was pleasantly surprised to see that I actually had time for a WBTB. I really felt my awareness was really good these days, so I was fairly sure that I didn't need to do a WILD to get a lucid dream. I was sure that something would trigger lucidity once in a dream. Dream: I was involved in doing something in this very large building. I recall isn't very good for the beginning of this dream. At some point I needed to use the restroom. I left the group of people I was with and found a restroom. I walked in. It was a huge room with a very high vaulted ceiling. Very fancy. I entered the first stall. Someone had gone poop and hadn't flushed it. How gross. I moved on to another stall. Same thing. It seemed strange to me that this beautiful very clean looking restroom was full of unflushed toilets. Things like that happened all the time in my dreams. Hmmm....this was a dream sign for me. What if this were a dream? It felt pretty real. Yet, I knew I was doing so well lately at catching my dream signs. I needed to at least do a reality check. I decided to try to float. Well, what do ya know. I was suddenly flying up to the high vaulted ceiling. Nice. Another lucid dream. I flew out of the bathroom and found myself in a courtyard full of people. I decided to find someone to fly with. I landed next to a guy. He looked to be in his mid to late 30's. He was nice looking with sandy blond hair that had some curl and either green or hazel eyes. He looked like an outdoorsy kind of guy with tan skin that was a little rough and some brow wrinkles. I asked him if he would fly with m,e and he said he would love to. But before we could take off I felt the dream fade. I was mad. This was way to short for a LD. I laid in bed for a second, not sure if I was really awake of if this was just a false awakening. I then willed myself back in the dream. The next thing I knew I was back in the courtyard. Yes. I did it. I looked around and couldn't find the guy I had been with. I was a little disappointed. But another guy caught my eye. He was tall with dark hair that was styled strangely, coming to a point in the front on one side. He looked to be in his mid to late 20's and was a bit over weight. He was wearing a cape and I figured he was into sci fi or Dungeons and Dragons or something like that. I asked him to fly with me. But he said something like, "If you think you can get a guy like me in the air, you must be crazy." I wasn't sure if he meant that he really didn't want to fly or if he didn't think I was capable to getting him in the air. But before I could find out I woke up.....for real.
Lucid TOTM report I become lucid in total darkness. I say "more light!" but the darkness remains. I try this several times, but it makes no discernible difference. I try to "remove the dark glasses" that are preventing me from seeing. I can feel myself scratching at my eyes, but no visual elements appear. I think about the sun coming up and at first this makes no difference, but gradually I see shrubbery forming in a grey/black mist. Trees start to form. I am in the air above a wooded landscape. I fly around, looking down at all the trees below me. I decide I will fly to my childhood home, "the farm." It appears below me to my right. I see the swimming pool pump house and remember the basic TOTM is to enter a house. I swoop down and pass through the roof of the pump house as if it were not there. I am standing on the floor of the room, i see pipes and tubing, just as it really looked in my youth, if a bit larger than real life. There are some strange cylindrical objects on the floor. I pick one up, it is black and has a WWII "Flying Tiger" face painted on it. There are some strange indentations on the sides that give the appearance of arms. I loose lucidity and the dream fades. This dream was strange as it was in the 4th hour of sleep. It was not very clear/vivid. I had no memory or thought to access memory of waking life. I had difficulty thinking clearly. Lucidity lasted perhaps 2 minutes. The flying around before arriving at the house continued for a bit.
A WBTB with a DILD. I went to bed fairly early (between 10 and 10:30). I slept until 5:00. I remembered that I had wanted to do a WBTB. I wondered if I had waited too long and had gotten too much sleep. But I decided to try anyway. I thought about doing a WILD, but I really felt that if I got to sleep I would have a DILD. And since getting back to sleep was the big issue, I felt trying to fall asleep naturally would be faster than trying to WILD. Dream: I was at what was supposed to be Disneyland with my mom, sister and Becky. We rode this indoor roller coaster that had these really big hills. I remember it felt so good going down the hills. Then I remember Becky needed to leave. So we all left "Disneyland". As soon as we walked out the gates we could see that it had snowed. The surrounding hills were covered in a light layer of snow. The area looked a lot more like Sedona than Anaheim--but I didn't catch that. I pulled out my camera and started taking pictures of the beautiful snow. At one point I tripped and landed on the sidewalk on my stomach and started sliding. I didn't care. With my camera still out I took pictures from the ground as I slid across the icy walk. We finally got to a house that we had rented for out trip. The sun had set and it was getting dark. I took a picture of my mom and sister as they walked up the steps to the house. I wondered if the lighting was too low. I wondered if the picture was going to be blurry. I switched my camera to playback mode to check the pictures. The first one to show up was one of my mom and sister standing in the sunlight. That meant that none of the pictures I had taken that evening of the snow had taken at all. I had a second of disappointment before the thought occurred to me that I might be dreaming. Often when I think that I automatically start floating. This time I felt extremely heavy. Still, I felt that there was a good chance I was dreaming. I was NOT going to take a chance and ignore my most common dream sign. I was carrying a very heavy purse. I felt that if I set it down I might be light enough to float. But I noticed that there were lots of people surrounding me. Even though I was now about 95% sure I was dreaming I couldn't feel right about just setting my purse down and leaving it. So I tossed it up on the balcony above me. I then grabbed the post and pulled myself up. I knew that I was able to get up to the balcony easier than I would have if it was real life. So now I was quite sure I was dreaming. I looked over at the snow covered hills. Even though it was pretty dark, the glow of the snow lit up the hills. I wanted to fly over to them. I looked off the edge of the balcony. The hill sloped steeply down. I still hadn't flown in this dream. I wasn't sure why I was still feeling so heavy. But I figured I would give it a try anyway. If worse came to worse and I wasn't able to fly, I figured I would gently fall to the hillside below. So I ran to the edge of the balcony and jumped off. As I jumped up I was able to catch the wind and felt myself being carried upward. That was a huge relief to go up instead of down. I started flying to the hills and finally started thinking about what I wanted to do in this LD. The Mirror! I wanted to do the Mirror Portal Task of the Month. Oh. That meant I really needed to go back to the house and find a mirror. So I turned around and started flying back. I flew frustratingly slow. But finally got back to the balcony and walked in the door to the second floor. Inside, I found myself in a large room. On the far wall I saw an orange and white couch that had a very large mirror leaning up against it. The mirror was on its side, covering a good part of the couch. It was about 3.5 feet high and about 6 feet long the way it sat. I knew that I wasn't going to be able to run or walk in the mirror. But I wasn't planning on doing it that way this time. I had had too many failures with running at mirrors. This time I had planned to gently push my way through. I sat down next to the mirror. I started with my finger. I pressed the first finger of my right hand into the glass. At first all I felt was resistance. But then I could feel it give way and start to push through. This was going to take way too long. So I just decided to push my face through. That way I would be able to get a good look at what was on the other side before my body came all the way through. So I put my forehead up to the glass. It was cool to the touch. I pushed and felt it give way--like a layer of ice melts as you press something hot against it. Slowly I felt my face come out the other side. I looked around anxiously. It was a bit dark. But then things started to focus. I could see something orange....and white. Oh....no.... I had just come out on the other side of the mirror and now had my face up against the couch on the other side. Before I could do anything else. I heard a loud door open and close, which startled me. I pulled my head out of the mirror (it left a nice, neat oval hole). A guy, maybe Jeff, had come though and asked if we had seen a drunk guy that had been wandering the area, that he might have come in the house. I said no. But before I could try the mirror again, I fully woke up.

I'll start out with the Lucid Dream even though it happened between several non-lucid fragments. March 11, 2015 Lucid Dream 527: The Factory of Time Series: Land of Dreams, Episode 17 DILD Technique: ADA The first parts of the dream that I remember, I am in a classroom. I'm sitting in a desk at the back of class and our teacher was former US President, William Taft. It seemed to be a high school setting and I was up to my former ways. Trolling the teacher, giving them hell, then pissing them off worse by acing the tests. Taft was handing out test results as me and a couple people around me launched paper airplanes when he wasn't looking. The idea was to throw them in directions that he could see, but try not to hit him. The closer you get to the teacher without hitting them, the more points you get. If you hit him, you go back to zero. If he doesn't even see the airplane, you get nothing. Yes, we actually used to play this game back in high school. Our teacher ended up getting permission from the principal to film us during class because she couldn't ever catch anyone, lol. Anyway, Taft kept spinning around and screaming at me, in particular. He knew I was ring leading, but couldn't catch anyone. When he got to me, he threw my perfect score test on my desk in disgust. The next part of the dream I remember, Taft was giving a lecture and I kept shooting coins across the room when he wasn't looking at me. He would get mad and yell at me, but I was denying everything in a, purposely sarcastic, bad-acting, innocent denial type of tone. "What...me? I would never do such a thing. To think you are giving your time to teach us lowly students about the world, and someone has the nerve to interrupt your brilliance. Youth these day, I tell ya what." The class was laughing and there wasn't much he could do without proof. Finally, he had enough and grabbed a desk and threw it up against the wall. After some laughter and snarky comments from me, he ended up grabbing another desk and threw it with an overhead-like basketball pass. I informed Taft that he seemed to be getting more and more mad, judging by his style of desk toss. Going from a chest pass to an overhead pass. He didn't like that, so he launched a desk at me. This is where I became lucid, but it wasn't a sudden realization. it was more like a, I felt like I knew it was a dream the whole time, but just now made it known to myself, if that makes sense . I stood up, puffed out my chest and let the desk slam against me. The desk shattered and all the pieces bounced backwards and fell to the floor in front of me in a physics defying manner. I laughed and told Taft said, "You can't mess with an anti-desk vest!" I then pulled off my over-shirt and I was wearing what looked like a bulletproof vest. He then picked up another desk and launched it one-handed like a full court heave. Basketball references for the spirit of March Madness . This one was coming at me like a missile. I matrix dodged the desk and it nailed a female student standing behind me. Knocking her out completely. I started laughing and mentioned that his career was over and he was likely headed to jail now. He completely blew a gasket and took off running at me. I had enough of the nonsense, so I just turned and took flight toward the upper corner of the room. However, Taft managed to grab my leg and pull me down. I simply kicked off of him with my other leg, broke free and took flight. heading for the upper corner of the room, I simply lowered my head and exploded through the roof/wall and exited the building. At this point, I'm flying above a town. Several other students in the class had also flew out of the hole I created and joined me. One was Nemo from the anime, "Little Nemo." He was the young adult version of himself complete with pajamas and holding a pillow. He told me to follow him. I figured might as well see where he wanted to take me, so I followed him for a bit. I heard students screaming behind me, so I looked back and the killer from "Too Many Cooks," was chasing/flying after me while slicing through the flying students. I knew it was Taft and he had shown his true form. I had already had enough of the Taft saga, so I simply sped up to jet speed, told Nemo he was way too slow, and soared off into the distance. Now, I'm at blazing speed, flying through a forest area. The foliage/trees/etc aren't very thick, so the flying was easy. A few times I flew at a little too vertical of an angle and felt myself losing steam, I just went into a nose dive and then flattened out at a lower altitude to get my speed back. After flying for a while, I suddenly found myself inside a huge factory. There is a lot of automated machinery and workers walking around wearing yellow hardhats. We are in one huge room. Nemo is with me again and tells me we are in the factory that sits at the very edge of existence. I look around taking everything in. The dream is really clear and vivid at this point. I see that the back of the room never ends. It just goes on as far as the eye can see. However, I can make out an "invisible wall" that is located a few feet away toward the endless part of the room. Basically, it look like a really thin veil of clear liquid. I could see it slightly distort whenever some machinery made a loud bang in the room. I was debating whether to go through the veil or not as it had a very ominous aura about it. Suddenly, I heard a song start up, "Takes a lot to make a stew-ew when it comes to me and you..." I turned around and that damn, Taft/Too Many Cooks Killer, was running at me again. I said, "fuck it," he won't follow me through the veil, so I took off running and entered it. I went through it very easily. I didn't even feel the veil on my skin, but there was a flash of light and I was now in the exact same factory room. The veil still in front of me. However, the room was slightly different from before. The machinery looked more primitive and the workers had 70's hair cuts and clothing on. Nemo popped into my vision as he had came through the veil too. I said, "Goddammit, is Taft going to follow us here too?" Nemo told me that Taft couldn't get through the veil because he didn't have any kindred spirits that used to work in this factory during this time period. Before I could ask him what year it was, "1971" popped up in the dream like a subtitle. A random jogger popped into vision behind me, jogged by me, waived casually while listening to headphones, then entered the veil again. Moments later, the same jogger, now about 20 pounds lighter, did the exact same thing. He must have known I was wondering what was going on, so he jogged in place beside me for a moment and yell-talked over his earphones saying, "WHEN YOU JOG THROUGH IT, ITS LIKE RUNNING FOR A YEAR STRAIGHT." He then jogged through it again and disappeared. I decided to just go through and see what year I ended up in next time. It was 1950. Everything looked even more primitive and there were loads more workers. I decided to see how far I could go back in time, so I went through the veil two or three more times and got to 1905 before the veil disappeared and I couldn't go back in time any further. I figured that I could have, but I didn't have anymore kindred spirits to connect to that used to work there. I was just about to exit the factory and explore 1905 in other parts of the dream, when I woke up. So, this was, by far, the best dream I have had in a year or more. In terms of vividness, recall, stability, etc. I was planning to do the "Task of the Month," raising zombies from the dead and starting a zombie apocalypse, but I did forget all about it during the dream . Other than that, I'm very happy with it. Series Details In the dream series, "The Land of Dreams," I explore the depths of my subconscious. With no real goals in mind, I explore the creative lands and characters that come before me. Who will I meet? Where will I go? What will I do? These are the dreams that fit into no particular category. Stay tuned for more entries to the series! March 11, 2015 Dream Fragment I am experiencing the dream through the viewpoint of a high school girl. I am living with my grandpa because my parents are separated. One is in jail and the other has shunned me for catching me with another girl. I arrive at school for my first day. About half of the dream is in japanese with subtitles and the other half is in english. I can't remember much except making friends with another girl with a troubled past. She is in love with me, but my lover from my previous town shows up. The last part of the dream I remember is stalking about the situation with my grandpa. March 11, 2015 Dream Fragment I am with my buddy Christoff and Rack. One of them got their hands on a new video game prototype. It is a 4-player battle arena game. Like Smash Bros, but in 3-D stages like Power Stone (dreamcast). There are a ton of characters and they all have really strange names. However, every character is a parody/spoof of a celebrity, famous person/character, etc. One of the characters was a spoof of Big Bird from Sesame Street, but it was an anime version. It attacked with letter blocks, spelling attacks, school buses, etc. However, he was drawn in an anime art style, shouted out the names of his attacks, and told background stories during the fight. I played with a character that parodied Tom Cruise. During his introduction before the fight, he was spoofing the "acting crazy on the Oprah show" moment. Also, one of his attacks was based on the movie Cocktail. I can't remember much else of the dream except Big Bird turning green at one point and Leonard Nimoy (RiP) also being one of the characters.
March 7, 2015 First WILD! Fell asleep at around 12:30AM What i did before I went to bed, and during the day: I watched inception before bed, in bed, and went to sleep as soon as the movie finished. I drank Bed Time Tea by Yogi tea company at around 9:00PM. Spent most of the day doing a lot of nothing. I was stressed in the morning over a bad test and missed assignment, and homework made it worse. I got better though. Spent a lot of the day building on a Minecraft server. I built a tower that was an educational center to learn a little bit about lucid dreaming. I read Sageous's WILD guide earlier in the morning. The Preparation to Dream: First successful WILD! also not only that but my first WILD attempt. Tonight i had a boost in confidence. I told myself It had been too long without a LD and assured myself tonight I will have one.I Woke up at about 4:40AM without any alarm and got out of bed to get a drink, use bathroom, ect. i only stayed out of bed for about 10ish minutes, and got back into bed. I was assuming i was going to fall back asleep after about 20 minutes or less, man was i wrong. i laid motionless on my back other than an occasional itch or two that disrupted me. i laid for a while and started meditating trying to get myself to sleep. i counted my breaths and paid attention to them carefully counting up and down from 10. I would start getting images in my head, "dreamlets" forming and playing out, but for some reason i would immediately snap to an awareness state and wake up a bit. no matter how hard i tried to make myself sleep I kept snapping to a state of awareness no matter how lost in thought I felt. I thought 20 minutes had passed since i last checked the clock at about 5:00AM, and saw to my disbelief it was 6:00AM! i had a few disturbances by people awake at 5:30AM for some reason and that added to it but i was up for an hour and 12Mins. I finally rolled on my side feeling somewhat defeated by my inability to sleep and promptly fell asleep, only i didn't just go to sleep. The Dream Experience: I thought i had merely past to sleep, there was a slight gap of nothingness. Next thing i know i was dreaming, in the beginnings of transcending into REM, stuck in place and was pretty sure it was sleep paralysis, as i have already experiences countless times. I heard a lot of strange sounds out of my control, and some scary vivd images. I instantly had awareness kick, like it had done all night while awake, and I knew I Had somehow made it! Right away 4 undead corpses were headed for me whilst still not able to move and they scared me at first until i told myself this is my dream I have no reason to be afraid. I finally gained mobility before they reached me, and i put my hand on them one by one and made them instantly vanish because i did not want them here. I Paused for a moment, i had to think of what i wanted to do and did the first thing that came to mind and i immediately started to fly, but was very excited and almost lost it, my vision became gray and blurred, however, while still in the air I quickly started to rub my hands together in the dream bringing it back and successfully did so. when I landed it still had a blurry effect, also I don't know how to land from flying well yet. I wanted the scene to change, but I could not. I was in a very very dark, night time scene in a suburban neighborhood. flying over the few areas i did it was just a lot of houses, separated by white fencing, and plenty of trees. It was so dark though I could only see where the there were street lights and house lights, but there really was not any streets yet, just houses crowded together. I wanted to make a sunny scene but couldn't, I tried appearing at a beach but also could not so I just stopped trying. In fact other than making the zombies disappear I couldn't really change anything else. My mind was thinking very quickly, there was soo much i wanted to do but just could not do all at once. I would have one idea, then instantly jump to another. One thing my I tried to do but could not, due to not being able to summon DC or change the scene was go into "caveman mode". I knew its what would happen eventually but it didn't get to happen. I tried to find a DC to interact with. searched a few places here and there. I think i went into a few houses but honestly cannot draw any scenes in my head from them. One thing that did not surprise me until i awoke was one particular scene. While i was looking for the DC i wanted to see, I ended it up my old neighborhood from when I lived in North Carolina. Now i have not seen this place in years, nor have I recalled ever dreaming about it in years, yet here it was. Not everything was exact obviously. I went to a neighbors house there, and it still had the brick and concrete steps i remember as a kid (probably from falling on them once) and I saw my little brother and asked if he knew where this DC was. He said no in a confused manner. I looked out back at the houses and noticed more had appeared out in the darkness. I got up and went out into the street and thought what I wanted to see now but got too far lost in thought and lost control of the dream. Lucidity is Lost, Regained, but too Late: Next thing I see, I am already in another scene. I am at my grandmothers house in Connecticut, non-lucid now. i look out the front door and see 3 dogs that look like mine and let them inside, except another group of the same kind of dogs also comes in. i spend the next few minutes trying to get the ones that are not mine back outside. I almost get it and then i have another sense of Lucidity and become Lucid again, unfortunately i become lucid because i notice one thing, the dream is about to collapse. Though i think quick and go to rub my hands together fast before it is gone i am too late, and that thought of rubbing my hands transfers from the dream world to the real world and i wake up rubbing my hands together in real life! It i now about 6:25 AM. I Fall asleep at about 6:50AM again and sleep till 7:52, 3 minutes before my Alarm to get up for my first Karst HydroGeology Field Trip. I only got around 5-6 Hours of sleep this night. I was trying hard to fight sleep on the way back during the van ride. Goals and Progress: about 25 minutes of dreaming and about 20 of them were Lucid! One of my goals was to have a 10 minute LD, and I Passed it. This was my first WILD attempt, and what a success in the dream world it was, it made the long painful night of fighting to go to sleep worth it.

After a DA:O-based scene about pleasantly passing time with Zevran, I have a false awakening and go lucid in a much less pleasant setting: a college dorm where people are being influenced in their sleep by some sinister mental voice - I could make out his tone but not his words. My initial intent was to investigate this without letting the source of the voice realize I was immune to his influence, mimicking the behavior of his victims, but I approach a stone wall surrounding the building and decide nah, I'd rather just leave. I fly over the wall with some slight resistance which I think of as coming from the source of that voice, unwilling to let any of his prey escape. This takes me down to a river surrounded by great grey boulders, leading down to the sea; as I follow the river it becomes filled by creatures similar to dolphins or porpoises - but incredibly ugly. I'm still feeling a sort of dragging effect from the scene I'd just left, resistance to moving further away; the water and open air feel refreshing but the animals' ugly appearance reflects some negative feel that's still affecting the dream. There's a song in my head, and I choose to focus on the song instead of on my surroundings - an upbeat dance song from the 60s. I begin to see a music video that goes with it, though not vividly, more like daydreaming, still firmly aware of my surroundings along that river. I'm thinking this could be an interesting opportunity. The music video has a wipe transition effect, like a clock hand sweeping around, and I focus on it - and now the music video has changed scenes from a dance hall to a boardwalk, and I've transitioned with it. I'm observing the boardwalk from above, 3rd person, with no more sense of that river with the sea creatures, or of the general feeling of unpleasantness from the past few scenes. I'm surprised that worked. It's unusually unvivid, though, still about the quality of a daydream; I wonder if I'm waking up. I shift my perspective, now standing on that boardwalk in the 60s, with a row of brilliantly colored pinball machines off to my right. That's much better. I drop back to non-lucidity for two more scenes.

I'm back...again . Hopefully, my stay this time is longer than my brief period almost two years ago. I have been way out of practice and really want to get back into lucid dreaming. I have missed it and feel like I'm at a point in my life where I can get back into like I used to be. Anyway, lets throw up the dream I had recently... Unknown Date Lucid Dream 526: Love Will Find a Way Series: 108 Stars of Destiny, Episode 13 DILD Technique: ADA The first parts of the dream I remember, I was in a village. It appeared to be back in a America 1700's colony type era, but there were some old looking vehicles/automobiles, neon signs, and several other modern technologies mixed in. I was in a group of about 7 people. We had some sort of importance. Government officials maybe? Anyway, at some point we arrived at the gallows and two attractive females were there with ropes being put around their necks. One was short with silvery-blonde hair. The other was tall with Maroon-ish/red hair. I could see they were crying. They were side by side and holding hands. They were, apparently, being hung for being in love with each other and both being female. Once we got to the stage where the gallows were fastened, I jumped up and started talking to the large crowd that had gathered. I can't remember my exact speech, but I was trying to convince them that we all had no right to deny love, no matter if they were both female or not. I ranted about this for a while and broke out the Jackie Moon saying (from the movie Semi-Pro)..."ELE, Everybody love Everybody, C'MON!!" The crowd was starting to take my side and I felt like I was going to save them. Then I told the crowd to go against "the church" and save these girls. I then stated how "the church" was corrupt and full of hate, but that was the wrong move. The crowd started throwing rocks at me and yelling at me in anger for talking bad about "the church." I then got strung up beside them. The floor was just about to fall out from underneath us when I thought, "I'm about to die in this dream." It hit me like a ton of bricks and I became lucid. I was thinking, "It has been ages since I became lucid in a fantasy/alternate setting like this." I didn't want to lose the dream as things got a little blurry when became lucid. I quickly did a nose pinch RC, took a couple deep breathes and focused for a second to stabilize. I no longer had a rope around my neck, so I cut the rope from the two girls and freed them. the crowd started rampaging toward the stage and all of them had very distorted and demented looking faces with red eyes. Like demons/monsters. I told the girls to grab a hold of my hands. I then leapt into the air in an attempt to fly away. The weight of the girls was too much for me, being out of practice from lucid dreaming. I came crashing to the ground, but luckily, I flew far enough to get passed the crowd. I told them to follow me and we ran toward a wagon being pulled by horses. The body of the wagon looked like a wooden sports car, but had big wagon wheels on it. We jumped in and I commanded the horses to run. They started trotting pretty slowly, lol. The crowd was getting close, so I looked for the reigns, but couldn't find any. There was a metal bar in front of me like an amusement park ride would have. I gripped it tightly and began to ull up as I used my mind to lift into the sky. The Horses and wagon began flying away. I just experienced the moment for a bit as I hadn't done this in a while. I looked back at the girls and wanting to ask where they wanted to go, and the taller one replied before I could even ask, "We just want to go somewhere that we can be together and love each other in peace." I told them that i would take them to the end of the earth and back if I had to. I asked their names and the tall one was Athena and the shorter one was Bianca. Athena had a scar on her face that I didn't notice before. She appeared to be athletic and toned while Bianca was short and angelic-like. I decided to land the wagon which had now turned into something that looked like santa's sled pulled by horses with wings. We got out and I looked around for something to explore. I noticed a huge castle off in the distance and it reminded me of my own castle from my previous dreams. I turned to the girls and asked them to join my Dream Army and live with me in the castle where no one would question their love. They agreed to join me. As I was taking them to the castle, I lost my lucidity along the way. The next thing I remember is being in a pub/bar that had one of those punching bag games that measures your strength. The setting was now very Wild West-like. There were some rough looking outlaws bragging about the punching game and I went over to challenge them. We argued for a bit and made some bets. However, the dream began to fade just before I was about to punch the bag and I woke up. Series Details Welcome to the epic dream series known as, "The 108 Stars of Destiny." I had a dream about this giant ice rink that had been built out of snow/igloo blocks at the edge of my subdivision. Something to do with my dad, grandfather, hot cocoa and skating around the inside. It was lit up on the inside. For some reason, I find it hard to stay invested in this NLD. It was sort of lacking content. ... Something to do with being on a train, somehow connected to this dream. I do seem to dream about trains an awful lot given I've only ridden one a couple times in my life. I was with a crew undergoing a manned survey of Mars. Our lander touched down not far from [One of Mars' largest volcanoes]. We had a crew of six people total. I don't recall any names, genders, etc. Just that there were six of us. The lander came equipped with both an Ariel surveyor plane as well as a mobile analysis lab. Each one of these vehicles could hold two people, and the remaining two would stay with the lander. I got put on the crew to fly the airplane. Now the areal surveyor was launched from some kind of rail cannon on the lander so that it would have enough speed to fly in the thin atmosphere. But when It launched us there was some kind of malfunction and we had to land asap. I saw that we were going 411. Miles per hour? Meters per second? I don't know. I tried to gently nose the plane down. I was somehow able to see third person perspective and see that the landing gear was about to touch down in the red sand. We touched the ground briefly before flying off a sand dune like a ramp. I saw that our speed was now 123. We hit the ground, but one of the landing gear hit a rock and we rolled over. The air surveyor was destroyed, but me and the other astronaut somehow survived. But we had a new problem. We now only had the life support in our space suits to support us. Even if the mobile lab drove at full speed, they wouldn't be halfway to us by the time we were long dead. I actually became a little bit lucid here, and remembered that I had the ability to summon Sir Chuggingloaf. (Read this ancient dream to know who that is.) I don't know why I was thinking of that character, since he has only appeared one other time and it was over 10 years ago, but sure enough, I saw him fly down from the upper atmosphere. Only, in this dream, he wasn't a train, but rather a spaceship. Rather than a train gondola, he had a rocket booster and wings. He also had windows in his side. A ramp opened up. Somehow, I was now with a large party of astronauts (10+ of them) and we were all getting inside of the flying bread spaceship. I didn't get in. I also remember him looking like a cartoon superimposed on what had thus far been a very realistic looking dream. He smiled and flew off into the sky with everyone inside of him. Interpretations: Any dream that involves talking bread spaceships is beyond my ability to interpret. I do seem to dream of being on Mars a lot. I wonder why that is.
[DILD] ToTM Warm evening. Sun gave ererything a bright orange glow. I was in Warsaw. I was waiting on a bus stop. The bus appeared and I went inside. I took off my sweater, as it was really hot. I grabbed the handrails as there were no free sitting places, and the bus drove. Suddenly I realise that it's a dream. As an RC I pressed my fingers on the handrails, and they went through the cold, yellow coloured metal. I saw a small boy walking in the bus. He was making a nose plug RC and smiling to me. I also mad a nose plug RC. Next with slight hesitation, as I was still afraid that this could be reality, I jumped, and phased through the bus's window. I landed on me stomach, on the road. Everything weas darker, but it was still warm. I looked around and saw a mother walking with her son on the sidewalk. Suddenly I saw a car driving straight into me, but it avoided me in the last moment. I somehow couldn't stand up, so I tried to scramble to the sidewalk. Then a blonde woman parked the car right in front of me. She told me that she was looking for me. Then I told her "It's not me! It was that boy! He walked over there!" She then entered the car quickly and drove after that boy. I could stand up finally, so I decided to make another task. I jumped to the rooftops, looking at the sky. It was dark, grim and overcast. I started to fly. When I was halfway to the height of clouds I focused on summoning storm clouds. They quickly covered the whole sky. I summoned the storm cloud in the air, but losing focus on flying made me unable to fly to them. I tried to land somewhere and made it. I have flewn from Warsaw to my home, in the other edge of Poland in few seconds! I landed on the rooftop of my garage. I looked down. There was my father pushing the lift. He said "Come here, and help me push the lift!" I then pointed at it with my index finger, and moved my hand to the entrance of barn. The lift moved as it was in drag-n-drop game. Father immediately went for the lift. He haven't told me where to move it, so I assumed it was right position. I looked at the sky again. The storm clouds disappeared, and the ovarcast, grim sky came back. I tried to summon the clouds again and fly to them. When I was halfway to the clouds I woke up. My friend is a bus driver With my friend we took a bus to the other village. We came to the front of the bus, and I saw that my another friend was a driver. We drove to my home village. I got out of the bus, but the bus stop was in the edge of a stadium, with river just behind it's edge. I went out of bus, and grabbed handrails. My friend walked through the river, as it was only ankle deep. I saw other people I saw in school, and even some classmates there. It was some kind of a party. Everyone was standing on a small hill. The slope was so high that I couldn't release the handrails, yet no other person gathered there was holding them. Sleeping in the bathroom I was lying on the floor in the bathroom, and trying to fall asleep. When I couldn't I saw that some clothes appeared there. I listened to a story a weird voice told about a man whose those clothes were. I stood up, and got out of the bathroom. Some fragments I recall some fragments, but nothing special.
Before I jump into the lucid dream(s) I had last night, I would like to first state that I have been visiting Dream Views for a long time looking for different kind of tips and tricks to become and stay lucid. Two days ago I saw an article on Mnemonic Induced Lucid Dream where the suggestion was made to choose some object or something else for that matter and whenever you'd see it in waking life, you should do a reality check. So I decided to go really big and chose the color blue. Everytime I saw something blue I did a reality check and really questioned whether or not I was dreaming. Note that I did this for 1 day only. The results were (for me atleast) great. "I'm walking in a badly illuminated building with multiple rooms adjacent to each other. All are connected through doors and every room is just as dark as the one before. I notice I'm following a guy, it seems as if he's leading me to someone. As I look around I notice something blue and I become suspicious. I check my hands to see that I own 12 fingers and I realize that I'm dreaming. Immediately after that I'm upright in my bed, as if awakened from a dream. I immediately notice that I don't remember the act of sitting up, so I suspected it to be a false awakening. After checking my right hand my suspicions were confirmed as I had 7 fingers on one hand. As of now, I'm lucid, but everything is still very fuzzy, as always in the few times before I had a lucid dream. Instead of trying the regular techniques like rubbing my hands and spinning around to stabilize it, I assumed my subconscious to be a computer in which I could enter commands. I said 'Dream! Increase vividness to 100%!' and everything became crystal clear. Next I said 'Increase awareness to 100%!' and the level of detail and clarity I achieved was amazing. I had no trouble maintaining the dream and could freely walk through my house without feeling the pressure of the dream trying to take over. I went into the kitchen and as it was still dark outside I wanted to turn on the light. However, my goal was to see how well I could control my dream, as I heard it's not too easy. So I decided to turn on the light with my mind. I focused on the bulb and hoped it would turn on. Instead, it leaned towards me as if I was trying to move it, but that was not my intention. I stopped for second and told myself that it's not about hoping it will turn on, but knowing that it will turn on since I'm in control and everything I want will happen. So I tried again and the light turned on. Goal achieved, so I went further. At this point it's already light outside and I notice people wanting to come into the kitchen. This is when I decided to test another facet of control and I wanted to put in a door to keep everyone outside. I swiped from right to left and a door swiped in place. I was happy, but not for long. I realised that I put in a DOOR, so everyone opened the door and came in XD. So I went one step further and swiped again, this time swiping in a brick wall. Unfortunately someone got caught in the middle and entered the kitchen anyway, so I thought never mind. Next I wanted to see if I could fly, still testing the extent of control. I focused hard and managed to get of the ground. The feeling is amazing! But onwards with the story. I flew throughout the house and got to my room where there is a balcony. I wanted to go outside and see where I could fly to, but it was quite a way down, so I had some doubt. I figured that if I would have something to fly on, perhaps that would be safer. At that moment my dad came in with a broom saying that I could use that. Well why not, witches use it, so I took it and sat on it. I'm still lucid at this point, so it was a sane decision :p. I floated up and towards the edge of the balcony. Eventually I turned around and went back into my room, not because I thaught I was going to fall, but because I sensed some doubt and assumed that if I were to fall, I would lose lucidity. That was too great a risk for me to take. So now I'm in my room, thinking what I should do next to test my control. Then I remembered reading here that teleporting was also something, so I decided to try that. I closed the door and expected to open it and walk into the world of 'Murdoch Mysteries', a TV show I'm watching. So I opened the door and there was the morgue, exactly like in the show. I walked around to look at it and the resemblance was uncanny. Nothing much happened that was of significance and I believe the dream took over from there on out. Next thing I remember is waking up. I was only a little bit disappointed but mostly really happy that I attained that level of lucidity. Today I will keep checking reality everytime I see blue and hopefully tonight I will feast again. This time I will be looking for the embodiment of my subconcious mind, I have some questions for him. Whoever is reading this, I strongly recommend trying what I did to become lucid. Maybe it will work for you, maybe it won't, but one can always try, right? Well, that's it for today, hopefully I will have a new experience to share tomorrow.

Morning of February 20, 2015. Friday. Dream #: 17,595-02. Reading time: 1 min 26 sec. It is a physically uncomfortable dream, though not intense, that occurs only when an object aids my flight. I mostly fly around in a standing or cross-legged position. Most situations occur in the early afternoon in unfamiliar commercial areas. I have a cell phone that serves as a flying device. (I do not own one in reality). It is uncomfortable in that I have to hold onto it as it lifts me into the air. For the most part, I only fly above the rooftops of two-storey buildings. At times, my speed picks up, but I mostly fly slowly, sometimes pulling my legs up into a cross-legged position. There are a few times where I need to rise above utility lines. My sense of touch is vivid as I feel the device buzzing and vibrating in my hands as I hold onto it. The faster the vibrations, the quicker and higher I fly. There are times when I relax, resulting in a more elevated flight. At one point, Zsuzsanna is holding onto me (mostly my torso) and we fly together. I notice two compartments accessed by a thin detachable lid (opening from the left). Each holds an AA battery. They are vertical on the back, near the edge of the right side, divided by a featureless surface of about the same length as the compartments. I notice, after having used the cell phone to fly for some time, that there is only a battery in the bottom chamber. I decide to add a new one in the higher compartment (taking it from my shirt pocket). I do this while in flight while only about two feet above the sidewalk. It results in the cell phone lifting me higher and for longer. Typical dream fallacy dominates this experience. Not having all the batteries in a device would result in it not working. I have always found it intriguing how erroneous dreams are. Although I was physically uncomfortable while flying around with my arms up holding onto something small, it did not bring about lucidity. This dream is similar to one from December 21, 1969, where I held onto a book to fly.
