      #324 – DEILD – 5:46AM

I have a bad dream about my dad stepping around in my garden. I become overly angry and shout horrible things at him. He doesn't seem to understand what's doing on and I complain to my mom.

I wake and enter DEILD. This time I say a mantra and focus on forming energy in my hands. Within a few seconds I notice that my hands are moving back and forth really fast. I know that I have entered the dream and it feels natural to open my dream eyes. I note my physical eyes feel shut but also open and I stare at the ceiling for a moment suddenly unsure if it's the dream or reality. The early morning light is filtering in the window and all seems super realistic, but I note the feel of my body. It has a physical quality but also numb like I've applied Novocain all over. Rather than worry too much about this, I decide to get up out of bed. Instead of my usual transition, I have to make all the necessary movements as in waking life. The numbness is really noticeable here, but I get too caught up on it; I am too excited to attempt the Meteor Task Of The Month.

I step out the front door and see the sun rising in the east. The amount of light is just enough that I don't have to struggle to see for once. For some reason, I am really surprised how pleasantly cool the air feels. Why did I think it would be hot? I chuckle and comment something out loud. To start up the task, I begin looking around at the sky with expectation. I try to imagine and visualize a fireball plummeting to the Earth but nothing forms. I even try making fiery sounds with my mouth, but sounds really lame and kiddish. The steet is empty of all traffic and people and the clouds seem extra colorful and fluffy. I am tempted to try flying, but I remain focused on the task.

I decide to walk around the area some still expecting a meteor. I notice that I haven't taken a step this whole dream. I just glide everywhere. Somehow, this gives me a though to Hulk jump to a new area, but it becomes more of a puny moon hop. I try flapping my arms to try to gain more height and I only hover a few feet in the air. Ok I give up.

Whatever travel took place during all this, was actually more that I had thought as I am now in front of the high school stadium, several blocks away. There are no people around, save for an middle aged Asian woman behind a classic lemonade stand. I can't see what she is selling but she is wiping down the counter as if trying to keep busy. I think maybe I will ask her to summon the meteor for me as I cross the street. When I am near enough to speak, she doesn't look at me though I feel she saw me. Before I can open my mouth, I see a bright fiery flash of light to my left. Realizing that of course no words are necessary, I smile and wave at the woman and turn to the meteor impact.

There's a blue and white townhouse on fire opposite of the stadium and several people are running around making a huge commotion, but no one seems to know what to do. I glide over to the house and stop at the unpainted picket fence. A man seems overly frantic so I give him a job, “Hey. Why don't you go call 911?” The man nods and runs off. I shrug and float closer to the house, but something weird happens.

I am now standing in front of an extra large doll house that's nearly as tall as myself. I am amused and a little annoyed that the townhouse shrunk like this, but I think I can still finish the task. The entire thing still burning and the fire has become translucent and hardly noticeable. I see a large hole in the roof and another in the floor of the second level. I reach in to try to grab a the meteor though I don't really see it. It doesn't matter because it's like I am a ghost and my hand passes through anything I touch. An adolescent boy runs up, pushes past me and takes something out of the house. He turns to examine his cupped hands and I assume he grabbed the meteor as I look over his shoulder. I am surprised when I see he just has something like a large sliver of dark brownish glass like from a broken beer bottle. I hear a chiming noise that shatters all dream content. I wake, cursing myself for not silencing my cell phone before going to bed.

I thought to DEILD but there was too much light in the room and I could not go back to sleep.

    2. Mixing Drinks

      by , 06-08-2014 at 08:51 PM
Morning of June 8, 2014. Sunday.

I am in what seems like some sort of composite of the kitchen at Barolin Street (in Australia) and the one in my sister Marilyn’s house (in America). There is at one point a concern that people had thrown out the older originals of dream work, report cards, drawings, and some original school work from my Kindergarten and part of first grade days (prior to my family’s moving to Florida years ago). This is not the major aspect of my dream, though. (In terms of recordings, my brother Leslie had sent me a large box of reel to reel and cassette tapes and paper and picture data transferred to CDs in real life, some even from my other sister’s house in real life.)

There is a strange focus on how my brother-in-law is “gone” though my sister is still alive. In fact, in real life, the opposite is true. At any rate, I decide to have a drink of lime soda. Somehow I end up accidentally pouring it into a bowl of apricots of the kind in syrup from a can. I then try to get some of the juice into a different glass on a bookshelf.

After a time, I end up with three glasses of drink, all mixed in slightly different proportions. My wife wants to drink from one glass but then reports that “it isn’t apricot juice” even though it is only about ten percent lime soda by that point. We end up drinking a bit from transparent glass bowls. I end up drinking most of it and I believe my mother is there in the background.

After I wake up, I end up pouring some of my cola into the wrong cup on the counter, which is kind of amusing but not precognitive in any way, just pure absentmindedness.

    3. entry 12 but it should be like 20-something

      by , 06-08-2014 at 08:46 PM
I kinda lost interest in lucid dreaming for like no reason at all (and its kinda ironic especially considering i was actually getting results). Yesterday I started doing RCs again and I actually got a lucid dream, and luckily that got me back in the game.

I'll start with my first dream that I remember. I was in a small rectangular room, it had a tile floor, a coffee table in the middle and a TV in front of it. to my left there were two small-ish pillars (like room sized not huge greek pillars) and to my right was a desk with a rolly-chair and a computer. My mom was on the computer. I got this weird thing where I could remove my head and control it, and I was controlling my head and using it to control this thing called an "occulus" which looked like one of those spiky rubber balls with a huge eye on it (http://www.jefferspet.com/images/265/XCSD.jpg just like this one) and I remember having it creep around under the computer chair. I also remember looking at my head as it was floating, it was grey and it had a grey "beam" going from me, to the head, to the "occulus"

I also remember robbing a bank, but we were robbing it of BULLETS because they had some serious money value. It was me and three other people, the only other person I recognized (or remembered) was Ice Cube
and I remember they had bag fulls of the bullets and I took a little bowl full (although it seemed every little bit was important because he yelled at me to remember it and i was like "I have it!!"). We ran out of the bank and down this street. It looked like a neighborhood rather than a city were you'd think a bank would be. We heard the cops so we ran down another street. At some point I got a bike, and only I had a bike. So we were going and I saw a cop car but it kept on going, it was way down the road at an intersection. It had a lot of trees down there, too. The cops had no idea who we were and so we were pretty much safe (thats the feeling I got, and it was true because the cop car ignored us). We came up to this shed, it looked kinda ricketey, it had no walls and the roof was aluminum (http://www.2championroofing.com/wp-c...r-1024x768.jpg) except red. The back part of it had wooden walls, though. and it had a table and tons of cans and stuff all around it, and tools of course. It was really messy, and right beside a forest. I was really frantic to try and hide the bike, which I threw into the woods (previously i tried to hide it other places but they were really bad so I finally threw it in the woods).
Then it cuts and for some reason we are in someone's back yard, there is a pool, and we're no longer trying to run from the cops. I don't really remember what happened there.

      NOW for the lucid dream!
I dreamt I was in my bed and was thinking about lucid dreaming, and so I decided to do a reality check (like I do IRL!) and the first one WORKED, but I thought I didn't plug my nose hard enough, so I did it again because I was suspicious (thinking it actually did work) and the second time my suspicions proved true and so first thing I did, still in bed, was rub my hands together, and then I said "INCREASE CLARITY" and it worked, but it started to fade away to blurryness again so I rubbed my hands together again and yelled "INFINITE CLARITY" in an echoy voice and it worked, it worked SO GOOD I began thinking I was in real life, and that I'd woken up but still thought I was in the dream, but I was like "nah, this is a dream". I noticed it was dark in the room and closed my eyes and said "LIGHTS ON" but it didn't work, and I tried to use the light switch, I knew it wouldn't work but I tried to imagine it would... it didn't. (might I add the lightswitch is the one from my room at my dad's house, and I'm at my mom's and I switched the one that turns on the plug near it, not the lights) I left the room thinking it would be lighter out there, and when I opened the door it was actually lighter out, but it was like a street light kinda light, in the fact that it dimmed out after a while, so the center of the room was bright and the sides were dim, but the room was long, there I realized I was in the same building as the dream with the "occulus", but not the same room. Same tiles, lighting, and walls. I walked down the room and there was a huge pile of clothes, my dream started to become blurry again so I rubbed my hands and said "STAY CLEAR" and it was soooo life like. I began touching my surroundings as people said to do, and I touched all the clothes, this pile of jars, and I also tried to levitate this spiky, black bowl. Then I guess I woke up or something (if I did I went straight back to sleep afterwards b/c I know I had more dreams but I dont remember them)

    4. #10. Humans vs Zombies with New Rules

      by , 06-08-2014 at 08:45 PM
      6/7/2014

      In bed: 2:55 AM - 9:20 AM

      #10. I 9:00 AM
I am taking part in a week of Humans vs Zombies. During this game, zombies will have a limited number of lives over the whole week, limiting their lives like a human though they do get more than one. The new game is just starting. I am at my dorm and already a zombie, so I must be an original zombie or there was an earlier mission that I was tagged at. Something is going on here at my dorm, with some fighting here. I am much more cautious though since I have a limited number of lives. Later, I am just hanging around the dorm talking with non-players as I wait for the mission to be sent out. When it is finally sent out, I see that it is located at this company of sorts on campus that has an office building here for some reason. I am quite surprised by this mission location. I head out biking to the place. Inside, I try to stay hidden since I see a big group of humans who I can’t do much too alone. Later, I see two humans I know and follow behind them crouching down trying to stay quiet. They enter an office room, and I follow behind them inside. I see a good moment after entering and sprint at them, cleanly tagging one of them. The person heard me at some point and was turning around as I tagged the other person. I still am able to tag them, though they do fire. They accept that they were tagged but argue to take a life away from me.
    5. Helicopter, Lucids, Kitten & Bank Robbery

      by , 06-08-2014 at 08:06 PM
So, I haven't been keeping very good track of dreams.

      Helicopter:
About a week ago - had a dream I was in a helicopter with someone. I looked down and there was fog rolling across a field, rolling in waves like an ocean. There was a storm in the distance, I could see it across several farm fields, but it was beautiful. On the edge of the fields there was a forest. The helicopter flew down until it was only a few feet above the ground, and we flew through a forest. I had a vague idea I was dreaming, and I wanted to share this with one of my friends, so I tried to turn the helicopter pilot into one of my friends. I looked away and looked back. When I looked back, her face was blurred out, but she hadn't fully changed. When this stuff happens, you'd think it would be super creepy in a Silent Hill sort of way, but when I am dreaming it's just a "this didn't completely work" sort of thing and doesn't bother me. I woke up.

I've had a few lucid dreams over the past 2 weeks but I've also been bad about recording those, so I'll just record last night:

      Lucid:
Woke up ~8 am. Got up to use the bathroom. Went back to bed with the idea that it would probably be easy to transition to a lucid dream at this point.

Fell asleep, as normal. At some point, I became semi-aware while I was in the grey fog. I am familiar with the fog, by now. I knew that because I didn't "have a body" at the moment, I wouldn't be able to enter a dream (this is something it took a while to figure out, and it's just the way it works for me). I decided to do my technique of "walking" forward until my feet took form I could see my feet. I looked down at where my feet would be and began "walking". After spending a while doing it, suddenly my feet came into being. Once they came into being, I decided to try to bring an environment into being. Suddenly, the world popped into place. It startled me so much that I fell on my butt.

I was now sitting in a yard in front of a house. It was very clear. There was a house behind me that I didn't notice very much, and trees all around me. The grass I was sitting on was vibrantly green and soft. I saw some little flowers growing in it (like little daisies) and thought about picking one. Before I did that, though, I decided to look around. Everything was crystal clear, no "dream fuzziness" at all.

I heard a car in the distance. It stopped at the curb next to me. Curious, I stood up to take a look. I could see the driver inside, his features were quite clear without the "dream fuzzies" that sometimes happen when I see a dream character. He opened the door and stepped out and suddenly everything became fuzzy and gray again.

My body had disappeared again. I began to rub my hands together. After a while of rubbing, they suddenly appeared in front of me. I was pleased and tried to cause the landscape to reappear. Unfortunately, I guess I hadn't stabilized enough because my hands disappeared again and I woke up a little bit.

I settled back down and tried to imagine walking while looking at my feet again, and holding the hand of a friend to try to make them appear with me once I "existed" again, as sort of an anchor (I am holding onto them and they are in the environment that we are both in, so they stabilize me and vice versa). It doesn't really work and I feel like I can feel my feet shuffling in my bed (I'm never completely sure if they actually are or it is an illusion that they are).

It doesn't really work. I give up and drift into deeper sleep.

      Kitten:

I dream I am robbing banks as an accomplice with a dream character (Caucasian guy with dark shaggy hair, thin and generally unhealthy and unreliable looking). At one point we end up in a production room where people are packing up cocaine for distribution. I have a tiny orange tabby kitten and I am worried about its welfare. I carry it with me at all times. We are going to go rob a bank and crash at a motel and my fellow bank-robber tells me to just leave the kitten outside and it will be fine. I start to leave it there but panic and come back and bring it with me. It's a huge inconvenience, but I cannot bring myself to leave my kitten alone outside where something may happen to it.

I see on the news that I am being listed as an accomplice for murders, but I haven't murdered anybody, and I didn't know that my bank-robbing buddy has been killing people. I decide I need to get away now, that even if I'm on the hook for robberies I'm definitely innocent of killing people. I can't leave my kitten behind, though, I am too worried about it. I'm also worried something will happen to it if my bank-robbing accomplice or the police catch up to me. I run through the woods (I don't have the van/car) and come upon a house there. I know that one of my IRL friends, James, lives in it, and that it would be safe to leave the kitten with him because I trust him. He opens the door and is friendly, as if he doesn't know I've been robbing banks (or doesn't care), and happily agrees to take care of my kitten.
    6. Orihime

      by , 06-08-2014 at 07:20 PM
I am with PL near some stairs to a temple. The sun is setting and everything has a yellowish tinge. He is near some stairs himself that have holes in the sides. He cups his hands around the holes, as if he's playing the harmonica (PL was playing harmonica earlier that day), and beautiful musical notes begin to play. He does this around several holes, and it makes me remember how much I want to improve my musical abilities. I try to create the notes myself by imitating his technique and am able to do so successfully. There's a guard nearby, and he's impressed with our abilities. PL then begins to sew up a sleeping princess zelda from her belly up through her chest. I ask him if he's sure about what he's doing, and he assures me its fine, though I still have my worries. After zelda is sewn up we begin walking together through some rocky plains. He tells me that we should walk through some clay because it's hydrophobic (earlier that day PL had talked to me about hydrophobic substances) (I then see some clay dropping into a clear glass of water, clearly seeing individual clumps of clay floating in the water). He says it would be awesome if we could walk through some clay, because we could look back at our tracks and tell if we were dreaming or not. I respond that that's a good idea, but we can just walk through some dirt and get the same effect. He says something along the lines of truuuuuuuuuuuuuu, and we proceed to walk through some dirt.

Later, I'm watching Bleach with my sister, or at least have the impression that I am. (This whole sequence is first person from Orihime's POV) Orihime is with some of the other characters, when suddenly she is in this other dimension (it's like a really blue region with white lines flying past, like the animation for extremespeed in FR). She tries to disappear (which is something I was thinking about earlier that day for my PAO), but this blue guy appears who blends in with the environment. She's scared. Apparently, this guy's a time traveler. I'm unsure about what his intentions are. Idk if he's a bad guy or what. She asks him to take her back to 2:30 am, which he does. She's suddenly in her bed and looks up at her digital clock (green), that indicates the time is 2:30 (ish, sometime rlly rlly early in the day). She gets up. The room is dark, but clearly has brown wooden floors and walls. Orihime asked to be brought back to this time, so she could warn her friends. I ask my sister (without seeing either of us) why Orihime was scared when she has abilities, but I don't remember what my sister says.

      In a separate dream...

I'm in this really big building, like the CC building. I'm watching basketball from a 2nd floor looking down at the court. I'm definitely with my Uncle E, and I think my mom as well as some other relatives. I particularly notice everyone sitting really close to the edge, especially uncle E, and I'm like man you guys gon fall off. I'm under the impression E wants to talk to me about TL's (something my mom had talked to me about irl a couple days ago), but I don't really have anything to tell him about this. I get up and walk around. Outside, I'm explaining that I don't like people sitting courtside who aren't really fans, and my mom says I'm a racist. I respond something like nah I'm not a racist, or look at the behavior of these ppl yourself. I'm pretty sure I'm outside at this point and there may be more I've forgotten.

      FRAGMENTS (not from tonight):

-Broken down on the side of the road
-Infiltrating a mall, going by this stand at the front, walk by chinese restaurants in the mall
-Playing basketball at the old community center near RC drainin shots like nobody's business
-Walking through a foresty marsh (maybe running?) there's a big bridge at some point. Later I'm getting food from a restaurant with some other ppl. I think it's Jimmy Johns
-I'm inside this facility that has dirt floors and really shoddy built up buildings inside (idk how to describe it). I'm with one other person and we get all the way through. At the end we have to escape the way we came. I get the feeling there's some ppl we have to avoid.

    7. The Song

      by , 06-08-2014 at 06:37 PM
I got a lucid last night, it was odd, because lately I have not been doing reality check and have not been getting many lucids but when I do without them for some reason I am wandering around and then....I just know.

      Anyways, to the dream.

I was in a dream, I was in some time of building. Reminded me of New Yorks train station or some crap. It had this big globe, and their was lucsious light flowing in. There were people there, one was a girl, and I think their also was a guy? No idea.

I think I was following the girl, when I realised I was dreaming seemingly. I guess I had a "urge" and started doing it, when I remembered my goal

I need to play the song!

So I realised, I need to get the people and the instruments! At the time, I was at my house in my garages doorway (the door that leads into the garage from the inside) and their was this guy I can't remember teaching my some trombone tricks that only work in my dreams because it involved me moving and that would affect the sound. After that I woke up, but lets see another dream!

This was a uncomfortable non-lucid, and here is how it went.

It started out that school was over, and I completely forgot about my football practice AND my bus left without me. Everyone at the school was gone except my buddy, which we'll just call S, who was getting a ride from his dad. His dad came and S went in and for some reason it took awhile for S to tell his dad and S was smiling at me, so was his dad, until for some reason for no reason I was on a bus suddenly, driving away from them. I was shocked, then realised something.

      This isn't my bus.
I started getting scared and screaming, until I somehow realised my crush was on the bus, which we'll call her SY. The bus was lumbering in the wrong direction with me on it. At one point I guess I was dropped off at this..house. It reminded me of Alice in Wonderland, because their was purple glows with this cartoony looking houses. Anyways, I went inside and the rest was blurry, I think I met this girl or whatever.

I went outside, and in the dream and after woke up thought nothing of it, but their was a car (that was supposed to be...mine?) destroyed their. Blown up. It wasnt just any car though

It wasn't just docs time machine

      It was redstars CAR!
Now, imma get a bit off track here, but let me introduce to you..redstar. He's been with me for about 2 years now, and basically he is me in my mind. He is me, except not me. He has god powers, and can do anything really. He goes on adventures with multiple universes like My Little Pony, Human, Doctor Who, any really. He was born on gallifrey with the doctor, where the "Gods" and the Time Lords lived together but not with harmony, much conflict. He was still best friends with the doctor. Anyways, redstars car was a Tardis combined with a delorean. I never have dreams about redstar, and this little hint set me off with something that could be unsettling.

      My dreams were mocking me.

Eventually, the girl gave me money to get on this Transit bus and I made my way back home, when their was these two cops and this crazy black guy with a shotgun threatening my mom (the cops weren't, they were trying to kill him)

Nothing really happened after that, but I guess I can call this memorable.
    8. A bad man

      by , 06-08-2014 at 06:16 PM
In my last dream somewhere near the end I was in my room and my mom came in the room mad at me. She said I made the bad man know where the secret waterfalls are. Than she turned on the tv to show me people in a dirty place filled with water gushing all around. I said "I didn't do that, what are you talking about?" Than we ran outside to my backyard. There was a man who wanted to battle my mom. I became lucid at that point and wanted to get in some of the action. So when the man was kicked into the air i kicked him down and he landed near the fence i think and came out his body cause he was dead i guess. After that my mom changed into a spirit and they went their own way fighting. I decided to explore so i flew and saw lots of forest trees below. Than i felt a feeling that something familiar was near and saw a cemetery with a huge building. It was snowing a little and was cold. I was flying to the ground and saw a few houses made out of candy. I could see people sitting on blue chairs talking to each other and i announced out loud that this was a dream. After that people started leaving. I heard a boy talk about someone who cut a boys head off cause he got jealous that his girl was with another guy. I went inside a house and found i was back at my house and went into a room. There were four people there talking. i decided to watch Tv so i turned it on with the remote. On tv there were live small previews for movies and a little sing along but i wanted to see something more interesting. That's when i noticed there was one person next to me and i heard footsteps coming downstairs. I told the person to shut the door but the door wouldn't shut fully. Suddenly a guy burst through the door with a knife going through a crazy moment. Looked like he was jogging in place and having a mental break down. I felt negative energy from him but just observed him, not scared because I wasn't going to let fears get me in my lucidity. I think some things from the dream happened cause of another person's dream i read though...>w>

    9. Hovering in my room

      by , 06-08-2014 at 05:42 PM
I wake up, and sit up in bed, as if to get up. Something makes me hesitate. My room should be dark, but it's lit up slightly, with a blueish light. I feel off. "I could be dreaming," I think. "I can fly!" I tilt my head back and imagine myself lifting off my bed and I float up towards the ceiling. The ceiling seems to waver, as if it isn't actually there, and I think to myself that I'll fly right through it and outside.

The dream either ends or completely changes at this point. Can't remember anything else.

    10. Task of the Month for June 2014

      by , 06-08-2014 at 05:00 PM
As with petty much all my lucids I got lucid spontaneously. I was in some kind of well lit warehouse or factory type space. I was surprised to be lucid because I hadn't expected it, but I had presence of mind enough to try to stabilise the dream by fondling various textures (cellophane, concrete, denim, hair) I spent a little time being distracted by a pretty girl but then remembered to think about my lucid goals.

First, I chose one of the DCs to try repeating, he was a slightly weaselly chap who didn't really have anything interesting to say, but u repeated a few sentences of it anyway. (I can't remember what he said, it was a touch more interesting than "hey" but not much!)

After that I thought of have a go at summoning a meteor strike, so I headed outside. It was just turning dark outside as I walked down the street looking for inspiration on the meteoric bombardment front and I decided to climb some scaffolding on a building nearby to get a better view of the sky.

I started getting distracted by various twisting paths through the building and scaffolding and ended up switching to a classic non lucid dream about cycling through the same bit of pah multiple times until the chain wore out and needed fixing...

    11. Clearest lucid dream yet, and first since joining DV!

      by , 06-08-2014 at 04:39 PM
I remember our car breaking down not long from our house, our dad gave me and my little brother a large amount of money, as we head down towards my old school (actually away from the store), we meet a strange looking man walking downwards towards us, i realiized instantly he was going to rub us, so i screamt: ''RUN!''. At this point i woke up.

      Here i gain lucidity.
A few minutes later i fall asleep again, entering the same dream. I enter the school, where i meet 2 of my female friends, i heal one of my friends wounds doing some strange magic thing that felt natural. I then go to the schools courtyard, where there are a TON of people, all training some kind of combat (since i watch shounen anime, this is probably the reason). I realize since this is my dream, i'm probably the strongest fighter, i ask one of my male friends which student is the strongest, and he points at a guy walking just a few feet away. We then converse (this is translated from norwegian btw).
Me: Are you the strongest student from this school?
Student: Mhmm, ye, i think so.
Me: Cool. When do you train?
      Student: Usually on wednesdays.
Me: Ok, i was planning on spectating one of your practices.
      Student: Ok, cool.

After this i dont remember much, except for a few measly fight scenes.

Preparation: -Turn my computer of 1 hour before planned bedtime.
      -Eat some food.
-Go outside and practice listening (lesson 1 of dream yoga).
-Then go for a walk around my neighbourhood.
-When i return i go to my bed and say my mantras, i do repeat them a few times.
-All this while constantly questionong my lucidity, RC'ing and saying mantras in presesnt tense.
      -Eat a
    12. Going home

Finally! A remembered dream. Not that exciting, but it's a start.

      Going Home
      Recall: 8/10
      Sleep: Good
Sleep Position: Left SIde (Right Brain)
I'm in an elevator, returning to my apartment. I get out on my floor and look for any danger, as I've encountered thugs here in previous dreams, but the coast is clear.

I unlock the door, and enter to find the place almost barren. It is a three bedroom apartment, but my two room mates have left, leaving only my furniture and a lot of empty space. This apartment really is huge for just me. I'm a little surprised the rent is still paid, as I haven't been here in months. Not sure how much time I have left here with my rend covered, I wonder how I will afford the entire rent by myself.

As I'm considering my finances, I hear what sounds like a woman in trouble in the hall. A muffled scream. I open the door, but see nothing down the hall. I turn the corner and look down that hall, still nothing. So I go back inside.

I'm really tired so I go lay down in bed for an hour or so, when I hear a knock on the door. Who could it be? Nobody knows I'm here. I go to the door and look out the peep hole and stare into someone's collar bone. I don't say anything, just look trying to see a face. Finally the person tries to look through the peephole himself and says to someone "There's someone looking at me". Still I remain quiet, then I catch a glimpse of their faces.

I sort of recognize them as having known my room mates, but don't feel like explaining where they are (since I don't know). Plus these guys look real sketchy. I go back to bed for awhile until I have to use the washroom. I duck low underneath the window in case those people at the door were outside now trying to look in, and crawl to the bathroom. Unfortunately, the entire bathroom is covered in windows. The lower ones are almost frosted and hard to see through, but there are many that are clear, leaving a good view of me. I pee anyways, not really caring who sees me.

    13. Defeating Giants

      by , 06-08-2014 at 02:58 PM
I was with a large group of people (perhaps around 15 or so), standing in a room that seemed to be much to large for us. For example, the bed next to us was incredibly big- it would have taken probably 100 of me stacked shoulder to shoulder to even reach the mattress. In any case, I was pretty confused until I saw a group of giants walking through the door. The group of people I was with seemed not to be to alarmed, but I decided it was probably smarter to hide, so I sneaked under one of the beds. Despite our small size, the giants were able to see us immediately. They referred to us as ants, and they had a particular taste for us.

Alarmingly, the giants also had an instinctual response of pecking, sort of like a chicken, if they stood in front of any humans. They would be standing, but, as soon as they moved before a group of 5 or so, they were able to immediately eat each one. They're speed was incredible and I was glad I was hidden. At least 2/3 of the group were immediately wiped out, but we were able to escape the room because of an odd trick we discovered. So long as you were speaking in the second or third person, the giant would not be able to immediately peck at you. They could still crush you, but this was avoidable. At one point a giant stood over me, so I kept repeating "you, you, you" and was able to escape.

I'm not sure what happened up to this point, but it turned out only 3 people of the group were left including me. I was by myself at the time, riding a motorcycle on a long, mountainous road with a giant behind me, on foot. He was running as fast as he could in order to eat me presumably, and I was doing my best to lead him astray from the 2 others in my group, who were currently trying to kill the head giant. As I was riding around I taunted the giant, until I felt I was sufficiently far away, and told him that his boss was about to die. He didn't believe me until I showed him so green napkin with the time on it, at which point he realized he needed to run back. He attacked me, knocking me incredibly high in the air, and during my fall turned around. I was scared I would be killed on my landing, but miraculously landed on a "soft rock" In particular, I remember rising, and at the peak seeing so much of this mountain, which was pretty cool, and then falling, though I wasn't scared of the fact.

Coincidentally, I landed near a school or university. I walked in and noticed everyone there that I passed was a black women. They were all confused as to why I was walking through the place, but I just continued walking past them until I met a girl I knew. She may have offered me food or similar, but, more generally, she did what she could to revitalize me. Where I was felt less like a school, and more like a distant kingdom, in which all the inhabitants were black women. The girl I knew was possibly the princess.

My mind jumped to the 2 others in my group tackling the boss, who was a giant, but only his giant head was visible. Again, the two would talk in the second or third person, avoiding the other giants, and, though I don't remember exactly how, they were able to blow up the head giant.

    14. Hypnopompic Hallucination: Spinning Blade Coming through the Window

      by , 06-08-2014 at 02:38 PM
I had a hard time sleeping last night because I'm sick with a sore throat, a cough and a stuffy nose. When I finally fell asleep at 3:00am, I woke up at 3:30am to a spinning blade coming through the window. I really thought someone was breaking in. I rolled over my husband off the bed in fright, not wanting to die, and shook him, begging him to get up. Then I realized it was just a hallucination and the window was fine.

Pretty scary to go to bed after that and think what else I might see, but I managed to go back to bed and no see any more hallucinations. I used autosuggestion, telling myself to sleep peacefully and have good dreams, no bad dreams or hallucinations. I didn't end up remembering any dreams when I woke up, but I slept peacefully.

I'll be going back to bed since I'm sick and didn't get much sleep.

    15. The Guadalupe Airport

      by , 06-08-2014 at 02:19 PM
      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #212: The Guadalupe Airport

I’m in a cafe talking to an art student in his early 20s as he walks out the door. I’m complimenting him on some piece of digital art that I saw in his online portfolio when I realize that I can’t remember his name. I ask and he says, “It’s Bradley,” as we shake hands. I think that this is a student in my 3-year-old son’s class, somehow all grown up.

Bradley leaves and I just stand there, confused about how this much time has passed. After a brief mental struggle, I realize that these facts just don’t fit together and
      I become lucid.

I spend a few moments looking around at the DCs in the cafe but they all seem fairly generic. I don’t have goals in mind and I’m anxious that I’ll waste the experience, so I head through the first door that I see, winding up in a bathroom. Somebody flushes from one of the stalls. I am not spending a lucid dream listening to people flush toilets, I think, and head back out through the bathroom, back through the cafe, and out into a mall.

I’m feeling less passive now and I try hard to remember what my goals were. Somehow I dredge up that a Task of the Month is to keep repeating whatever a DC says to you. I approach a balding, blonde-haired guy with glasses in his early 40s. He’s wearing a t-shirt that says something about the Windows registry and he’s looking at me like he wants to tell me something.

      “Talk to me!” I say.

He happily launches into an explanation of something about computers, but he’s speaking too rapidly for me to follow. I eventually start catching him mid-sentence. “If you have a memory block that…” and I babble back “If you have a memory block that!”

He scowls at the interruption. “You know what? I don’t think you’re actually into this!” And with that, he turns and walks away, looking offended.

I continue on, drifting through the crowd. I spot one guy that’s unusually tall and for some reason get the nasty impulse to mess with him. I kick him in the right shin and he falls forward, stopping just short of hitting the ground. Then he rises back up, looking angry and annoyed. “Sorry, that was stupid,” I say, scurrying away from him. He floats after me for a moment but I make an effort to think about other things as I evade him, flying down an escalator to the first floor.

I move through a relatively empty hallway, worrying for a moment about whether I’ll be able to remember what’s happened in the dream and take a moment to reflect on how cool this is.

Now I’m back in the main thoroughfare with the crowd. I spot two attractive women nearby, both Indian, one in her mid-twenties, the other in her mid-forties. I fly past them and they say something about going to Las Vegas. I want to impress them for some reason so I boast that I’m having a lucid dream and could travel to Las Vegas instantly. They laugh nervously and sort of edge away.

I say something like, “Here, I’ll show you!” and start flying away, slightly out of control. There’s an open chunk in the ceiling and I pass through it, turning and flailing a bit. Somehow I find myself flying along an airport runway at night. I hear “¡Happy Birthday Guadalupe!” by The Killers playing over what sounds like a clock radio and I worry that a morning alarm is going off. I fly up to a tall column of carved stone in the middle of the runway and reach out to touch it
      as the dream ends.
