Lucid Dreams
Explanation: A dream map is an interconnecting map detailing places you've been to or seen in your dreams, lucid or not. If a line connects two places, they are connected, if not they are not. Question marks depict a recall gap. I got the idea for a dream map from a certain thread on Uboachan's yume board. It's very fun seeing how your dreams connect to one another and helps you remember the landscapes so you may go back to them later and explore more. The first through third editions of my dream map are nothing special. So I'm starting here on the most recent fourth.
I dreamt about a price-gouging resort that had a bunch of computers, it also had its own currency (like "limbra pounds", "l£") eventually after getting into a spat about fall damage with the owner, I started a revolution and riot with the unhappy guests. There was also a lot of computers lying about, a lot of them had old windows 95 games on them. There was also one of my friends being possesed by a shapeshifting reptillian, and a vending machine that dispensed old grape fanta that had a promotion from the 2000s on them. I also dreamt about Deltarune, there was a "Mirror" universe everyone found themselves in. Everything was flipped, and after the party found themselves in trouble, they found Frisk, who appeared to be able to shapeshift in and out of a goat form, as well as conjure objects. I also remember taking a shopping cart from one world to another, and seeing alternate versions of my family.

Date: 05/05/2022 Bedtime: 3.15am Awakening: 7.10am Return to bed: 7.20am Method of entry: dream consciousness Attempt: successful Awakening: 11.15am DILD: The Insertion Experiment DREAMING I'm queueing behind a man in a shop. I'm next to be served but actress Julia Roberts jumps in front of me. She briefly looks back at me and I shake my head in disapproval before saying with sarcastic chivalry, 'Go ahead, you first!' Scene shift: I'm playing computer games with my wife in my youngest son's bedroom. Suddenly I'm by myself and several screens surround me, allowing me to switch from one game to the next without wasting time. I tend to select fighting over racing games. Suddenly, I'm inside one of the games—which takes a life-like appearance—and I observe people sink into walls with water flowing over their composite-stone surfaces; it seems that whoever gets too close to these peculiar walls ends up literally flushed away, vanishing into their deep gaps. The environment is like a gallery and people are warned to stay away from the walls. I pose for a picture with actor Cuba Gooding Jr. and the photographer accidentally reverses into a wall. I try to save the man by attempting to grab him but he gets flushed away pretty quickly. WAKING I wake up at the sound of the alarm and make some notes in my journal before getting my son up for school. I realise that I keep dreaming about celebrities lately, a theme which could turn into a potential dream cue. Playing computer games in my son's bedroom never happens and I also identify two instances of mechanical weirdness, such as, multiple screens and the subsequent flushing system on slippery wet walls observed after the impossibility of suddenly appearing inside a life-like game. Feeling tired, I return to bed. DREAMING At a nightclub a stately Rastafarian in dreadlocks insists that I stand in the corner of the dancefloor. This makes me very angry, especially when he refers to me as 'bitch'. I vehemently refuse to do as he says but he continues to press me so we lock horns and I end up killing him by bashing his head on steps at the edge of the dancefloor. I hear calls for security and scram as guards walk in my direction and call the police. Frightened, I exit the building, noticing that I am completely covered in blood. I meet up with my friend Musaddique who promises to help by taking me to his house. When we get there he tells me his door is the fourth one from a brick wall, but I see that the fourth one is blocked by a fence, so I ask him if he is sure and he appears confused. Weirdly, he starts counting doors before telling me that perhaps it's the third one. 'Do you not know your house?' I tease him before we enter the house and meet his family—which consists of his parents, his grown-up sister and some little siblings. Scene shift: It's time to go and, coincidentally, the back door of Musaddique's house allows direct access to a train station platform. I am kindly given a travelcard so I can get a train home. As I head for some barriers beyond which some information screens are visible, I hear Musaddique and his sister calling me. I turn around to see them running towards me. They want the travelcard back because, as it turns out, they will need it. When I hand back what they gave me previously, I notice that I have two blue travelcards made of plastic, making them resemble my citizen card. I find it a little strange but reason that they must've given me two passes by mistake. They turn around and presumably start walking back to their house. I reach for my wallet and realise that it's missing so I panic. How will I get home now? I can still see the siblings walking at a distance and rush after them in the hope of borrowing some money to get home. Suddenly the platform is bustling with people and I lose them. 'Where are they? They were just here!' I think to myself. Feeling lost and confounded by their sudden disappearance, I begin to wonder if I'm dreaming. It's the only explanation ... LUCID DREAMING I no longer worry about anything but feel curious when I see Musaddique get on a train with the crowd. (Realism: 100%) The sliding doors close but I pass through the carriage like a ghost, encountering some resistance as I do so. I can see inside the train as I hover near the ceiling. A semblance of Musaddique and the rest of the passengers look up from their seats. Wondering about what reaction I might get, I say to Musaddique, 'Don't bother with the travelcard! This is a dream!' Musaddique and the passengers start hooting with laughter as if they had been actors all along in some Truman show and I just got 'punked'. I feel like I'm surrounded by tricksters as I stand in the aisle thinking that I must be careful not to get sucked into a dream plot. I remember the Insertion Experiment and quickly lift a white shirt I'm wearing to plunge my right hand into my belly. As I watch my hand getting gradually absorbed by my torso, I make the following observations: there is some resistance, there is no blood, and there is no pain; as I wiggle the hand inside my tummy to feel for organs, I encounter a vacuous pressure—there is more feeling in my hand than my stomach area and no organs to be found. The environment begins to fade and I wake up eager to record my observations. WAKING I scribble some notes and recall the previous dream. Fights and confrontations in dreams are also quite common where strong emotions like anger tend to flare up. Being pursued by the police is also an extremely unlikely situation accompanied by feeling terrified of being captured. Each dream seems to come with at least one scene shift and there are some long-term memory-based elements such as Musaddique—a friend I have not seen since secondary school. I also need to practice being more critical of suspicious events such as Musaddique not knowing exactly which house door is his.
I was in my house, a weird mixture between my old house and my new house. If I remember correctly, I was observing a wooden crate, either that or making a sandwich. I make an offhanded comment about lucidity, so I decide to check. 6 fingers? I checked the other hand and it has 7, like it just kept having fingers when I thought I got to the end of it during my counting."I'm dreaming." I say to myself in shock and joy as finally I have a reality check that happened during a dream. But, I kept my cool the whole time, and never got openly excited which might end it early. I left whatever I was doing, and started walking around the house. I see a weird man in a black cloak appear from around a corner or something. I can really only see his beard. I pay no attention to him, but he seems friendly. I start to walk upstairs, towards my room, when he asks me a question. "Hey, is there anything in my beard?" (He said something very similar to this, but I don't remember exactly.) He's kinda far away, so I think of this as a good time to try a lucid ability. I reach into my pockets and pull out a magnifying glass from thin air, letting me see the guy's beard in more detail. I told him it was clean and got back to my business. I turned around and started walking to the outside of the house. "I'm gonna go out and bike," I say to him. "Hopefully I'll find fairies, or whatever other cool magic." (I'm not exactly sure why I said fairies specifically, but I really just wanted to go out biking and see what what's out there, stuff that couldn't exist in real life.) He chuckles a bit, and says okay, choosing to join me. I don't really care, so I let him follow me without saying anything. I walk outside using the front door, and come around to the garage. It was closed, so I flipped open the garage door keypad. This part worried me, because the keycode has always been the same in both houses, but I've heard light switches are weird, and reading doesn't work due to that part of your brain being off. I decided to look away and just try doing it from muscle memory. Surprisingly, the garage door opened. I looked at the keypad and the buttons from the lock pattern were lit up in green, obviously not what I pressed, nor the real code. I was just glad it worked. I came inside, along with the cloaked man. He gets a little excited seeing the few bikes around the otherwise completely empty garage. I, however, do not see my bike anywhere. I walk back inside, and grab my backpack which sat on the floor next to the large glass balcony door. I put it on the kitchen island, back-strap side down. I open it up and take the last few things from my already pretty empty backpack. A few pieces of junk or pencils or whatever, and also a small flatscreen TV which I leave face down on the island. The TV, which I put into this backpack in a past dream!! None of the cables nor the remote it originally came with. (In real life, the TV is being used in my sister's room, with cables.) (Maybe the garage door opened not because of the right pattern, but because I was hoping and confident that it would open? That is how dreams operate after all...) **In a later dream that night... (Not lucid)** I was exactly where I was where this lucid dream just ended. By the balcony door, looking at the dining room. This time however, the wooden crate from before (maybe) was on the table, and my sister was there, sitting down. "What do you think it is, <my name>?" She says to me. I guess that it's an animal, and she laughs. "We're saving it for when Dad comes home in a few days." She says. "Well, no animal can live in this tiny box without any food or water for 3 days. It has to be something dry." I respond.
I define Omnilucidity as the ability to achieve a lucid dream either every night, or whenever desired. While there are people born with this ability, I once theorized a way it could be obtained rather simply, so long as the person could get into a dream at least once. It went something like this: 1. Create a dream character, preferably while awake. The dream character can be anyone or anything you want them to be. The point is that when they appear in your dream, lucidity will soon follow. You do it while awake so you don't have to come up with it on the spot while dreaming. Also, you can draw them or give them some backstory or whatever. 2. Get into a Lucid Dream. The hard part. All you need is one success, however, if done properly. 3.Summon and activate the Dream Character This one's a bit hard to explain so I'll give an example. My character is a talking red nine tailed fox named "Francesca". (Didn't think about the Kurama similarity until now) I summon her and after greetings, I tell her this: "Every night from now on, find me in my dreams. Explain to me that I am in a dream until I become lucid. In other words, guide me to lucidity." As long as I believe in her, she will not fail me. And that's the plan. Why do I bring this up today? You can probably guess where this is going. Last night, I had two lucid dreams, the first of which was uneventful. I went back into another one, failing my WILD by losing consciousness. This plot had me in chains, about to get executed by an Egyptian king. I'm sitting here, crying and trying to explain to him that he's got the wrong guy. Just then, out of no where, some blue entity walks up to me. Imagine the generic astral projection blue guy because that's basically what he looked like. He grabbed both of my hands, and then yanked me out of my physical dream body, instantly turning me lucid. I couldn't believe what was happening! I was in shock, but he knew I was questioning whether or not I was in a dream and pointed to my hand. I looked at it and half of it was just... not there. That confirmed it for me, and I began to pop off. I looked back up to celebrate, but he was gone. I didn't get to make the most of it because of just how shocked I was. So, it didn't happen the way I planned, but it worked nonetheless. You see, I've had this theory in my head and have been working towards it for a long time now, about 2 years or more. Perhaps thinking about it so much got it to my subconscious and just triggered some form of it automatically. A dream character showed up in my dream for the sole purpose of making me lucid. Now the only thing to see is whether he comes back tonight. I hope. I believe. If he does, that means I never have to do a technique again! Good riddance.

04.27.2022 12:00 PMThe Magick Room at the Dream Views Base (DILD) This dream felt like it took 45 minutes int total but I lost all memory of the start of the dream about midway through. I am lucid and in someone else's dream helping them overcome a nightmare. After the end of their dream things reform into a hallway that I am walking down. I am at the Dream Views base and I pass by Juliana and our friend Nico. I give them a group hug. I notice Juliana looks completely different from how she has looked lately. She looks asian but I know its her somehow. The room we are in is large and well furnished. It has 5 doors leading to different areas. I open the door to my right and find a square room filled with magickal herbs and components. The centerpiece of this room is a stone alter with a red alter cloth on it. There are two candles on tall candelabra. There is a gold ceremonial dagger lying to the right of the pentacle. I feel the need to pee which shocks me out of lucidity. I go to the next door which is a bathroom. I remember that if I pee I will pee the bed. I do a nose plug RC which feels the cleanest I've done in recent memory. I walk back into the middle room and wake up.

Laid down at 8:30PM was up at 9:30PM with RLS. Laid back down after 10-15min. Later I have very strong SP like sensations. I start focusing on the dream state. It is very dark. Have to visualize. I “get up” but I am not sure. I jump up and down and find I am hovering. Good. I get pulled back. I try some more. I can see myself so I start fighting my other self. I wrestle with me and get on top. I start to choke me. It feels like a representation of my waking self and I have to subdue it. I have to win to enter the dream. Who is this other? After that victory, I “get out of bed” and jump up and down again to test. I stop mid jump and hover in the room. Then, I drift out and hover through the bathroom into the hallway. I think to turn into the other part of the house but suddenly get a strong urge to go outside time. Instead of opening the door, I decide to phase through. There is resistance and some darkness but only for a moment as I push my face through. I am on side porch. The only thing in existence is a small area that the light from the porch could illuminate. Beyond that; darkness. I see the full carport and a vehicle and some bit of the shed and part of the yard. I try to fly away to make the full scene materialize but I am sucked back to the porch by some unseen and unknown force. Apparently, I am allowed to only go so far. I decide to make due. I realize the parked car is a small red hatchback. We don’t own anything like that but I don’t think about this. I decide to open the door and fold it back to break it off but it crumbles easily like it’s made of thin aluminum. I think of a soda can. This is kind of fun so I proceed to destroy the car bit by bit by pulling it apart and folding sheets up and wading them up like pieces of paper. It is very satisfying and I continue to do this until I wake up. The time is 10:30PM
04.19.2022 08:00 AMThe Hungry Ghost (DILD) This dream took place while in was at a hotel. I am in a large and well decorated home. I know that it is a dream and in this dream this is my home even though I have never lived in a house like this. I feel the presence of a person nearby but there is no one in the room. I go up the stairs and around the corner to find myself face to face with an older woman who starts speaking in some alien language. Her mouth moves in very strange ways. I wake up. When I talked to my girlfriend she says she had a nightmare too. We both felt incredibly negative emotionally for the rest of the day. It was very draining. I realized I might have attracted my first hungry ghost/energy vampire because I had been doing a lot of energy work without knowing how to effectively shield myself. We cleansed ourselves and our apartment with sage when we got back and then I warded the place against any spirits. After that we felt so much better and we haven't felt that draining feeling since. 04.26.2022 11:00 AMGenevieve Artadi (DILD) I am in a house I don't recognize and spontaneously lucid after a chain of non-lucid fragments. I reach back and Juliana grabs my forearm. She walks forward and she looks like Genevieve Artadi from Knower. (She changed her appearance in our wonderland to look like her a few days ago.) Unfortunately, the dream destabilized from excitment. When I tried summoning her again I pulled forward a disembodied arn. That happens sometimes so better luck next time.

I was in my car checking my phone to see when it would be 1:30 pm to meet up with a group function I was in. I was trying to lower the volume on my phone and noticed it was acting weird. It would go to video's I never click on before and play music on its own. I decided to ignore it and got out of my car once it was 1:30. Outside appeared to be very cloudy as I made my way to the store. While in the store I was checking certain items out when two people catch my attention. They seem familiar to me in this dream as I do not know them in waking life. They came closer to me to check out the items. Both were quite tall with blonde hair and the taller one was wearing glasses. If I had to make a guess I'd say they are from Irish descent. The taller one and I made eye contact as if we understood this was not our first encounter. After that they went in to a different section of the supermarket. I started thinking to myself something feels strange. That's when a Youtuber I watch came behind and was staring at me as well. Didn't say anything but just stared and then walk away. That's when I knew something is wrong here and gave my vision a full view of what I was surrounded by. At the front of the supermarket was a man outside unable to get in to the store. His eyes were complete black as if he was possess with something. I look to him as he begin to say something bad is going to happen and that you need to leave the store. At first seeing him made me feel slightly anxious but it started to all click to me as I began to open the door. He then lunge at me as soon as the opportunity arrived and I caught his hand and smile. I could feel fear emitting from him as the feeling of lucidity grew more and more from with in me. It felt as if I transfer the feeling I had to him. I pick him up with one arm and started running with him through the door. As I am running with him in my hand , I tell him I am one with everything here and that anything I believe I can do will happen. I then punch a truck side door as it was in our way. I then jump high up in the air in to the forest. With him still in my hands I look to find a place to meditate as I wanted to progress with my development. Then a bear suddenly comes and attacks me from behind. I told myself again there is no threat, this bear is not capable of causing me harm. Although the pain started to disappear , the bear did succeed in causing me enough distraction to let go of the man and to make me attempt to fly in the air. It didn't work and I was floating mid air for a few seconds before dropping back to grassy fields. It was nighttime outside so I had a hard time seeing where the bear was but I could feel it was near. That's when I decided now is the right time to do meditation. As I sat down I could hear the bear get closer and attack me again but not too long everything in the environment broke down and I was in a darkness alone with only my awareness. After 10 seconds of meditating, I felt a different feeling beginning to happen. Enough to make me try to open my eyes but it wasn't working. That's when I felt my body detach from something and was feeling weightless. The same chocking feeling in my neck occur as I struggle to breathe. As I move my body I felt nothing attach to it, I stayed calm and soon the grip around my neck disappeared. That's when I could feel myself reattaching to my body with no success. I began to worry if I could ever get back in my body because it was taking too long. But once I was fully relax in my mind it happen. I felt a strong pull and felt myself moved up with in my body and then I woke up. I saw my father talking to my mother on the phone as he seemed busy. I look at my hand to confirm if I was awake or not but then I woke up again.

I was sitting on the sidewalk with a guy eating Chinese food. He was sitting in a chair. I look at him and we share a common nod. Before I begin to day dream which led me to different dream scenarios before I came out of it and was back on the sidewalk sitting with the same guy. I started thinking it's strange to be day dreaming on the sidewalk and now that I think of it not only did the day dream felt very real but I was somewhere else and was shock to be back here. I then realize I was dreaming as it didn't add up why I would be at the sidewalk eating with a random guy. I turn my attention to him and he gave me the same chilled smile. I fist bump him and we both look in to the distance eating Chinese food. I started sensing something was off as it suddenly became night time instead of the evening. Immediately a guy drive in a car stop near us and started shooting everywhere. The guy in the chair and I knew this was bad and attempted to flee the scene as soon possible. I could hear the bullets coming closer to me so I figure this will probably wake me up for sure. I then wake up and said I had a lucid dream. For some reason though I thought I had two lucid dreams before I then woke up again to a false awakening,
Dream started on a bus , I was accompanied along with my girlfriend returning back home as the day was soon to be over. There was a boy who was seated in front of us who seemed to misbehave often. In this dream I had a false memory of being on the bus with him before where he would make frequent problems for other people. As we were seated behind him, he turned around and said something offensive and began throwing trash around the area we were in. This caused my partner to become furious with the idea that he had no manners but I told her to let it go and that it didn't matter. He and another boy that is seated not too far from him do this for attention. Afterwards we got off the bus and I found myself in search for my phone as I felt a strong urge that I have misplace it. I eventually see it on the ground only for it to disappear in front of my eyes when I tried to pick it up. I started becoming confuse and question what was going on. I look to the sky and yelled where am I? As I look to the sky for a few seconds it began to change to a massive ceiling and made me feel like I was an ant staring back. I smiled and said I'm dreaming. I then put my vision back in front of me to see the dream environment change to an unknown home. Looks more like a hotel room. I saw the bed with 8 pillows lining down the whole blanket and bed. The color of the pillows was a sharp dark forest green. It somehow was lifelike and looked very vivid and magical. I admire it for a moment as the colors seem to stare back at me before I decided I wanted to see more of the environment. I then saw an office and people working left and right on screens. I tried to talk to some of people but most weren't interested in conversation. As I finally found someone to talk to I ended up losing lucidity due to the conversation and woke up soon after.
For some reason I got the idea to moving slow rhythmic patterns to coax hypnagogia. For some reason, it worked, although I think I might have already been in hypnagogia, so maybe this was part of the dream or something? Anyway once I got inside the dream I took a deep breath, and asked the dream to give me clarity, vividity, and stability. I figured I'd try to expedite the process and try a less conventional method of stabilization: smashing everything in your immediate vicinity. The logic behind this is that you're engaging your whole body to do it. I grabbed my walking stick and swung at my tv, but it didn't break. I swung at it several more times and still nothing. So I then swung at my beloved PC and still, nothing. It was a tower dangling precariously off the desk, yet when I swung at it with full force, it didn't even move! Perhaps the dream has to be stable enough to simulate destruction. So did it work to stabilize a dream? No, not well. The dream was pretty good for a bit, but I lost the plot and started smashing stuff over and over. I focused more on actually trying to break the stuff then what I was doing it for. I then lost lucidity in the dream ended. The reason why I think the dream was as stable as it was is because I asked it to become that at the beginning. So next time, I'll try more simple methods of stabilization like rubbing my hands together, licking things, touching the environment, and perhaps stretching. Rubbing my hands together and stimulating my sense of touch in general has not been successful for me historically, but then again, it could be my fault. I notice that all the times I tried to do it, I never had my heart in it. So, I'll try the stuff that i've heard people say works before I start trying to reinvent the wheel. Still, I'm just glad to have a consistent technique after 2 years of trying. Hell, at this rate, I might not even need the omnilucidity tech. Of course, I'm still gonna test it.
Got another lucid last night. It's been a minute but it was because I had a hard time getting back to sleep after a while. Not sure what caused it but I guess it's over now. Anyway, it was uneventful. I have a new mindset when I go into my dreams now; y'know the standard "I have all the time I need" stuff. The dream ended immediately though. I used the same tech from the last two entries. I added a goalpost to make it easier for me to do. 1st, as I fall asleep, focus on what I can physically see. I've noticed that when I enter hypnagogia, the imagery is very clear if I pay enough attention; as in, it's quite easy to tell the exact moment. So, if I see the swirlies and whatnot, it's a great sign. 2nd, I now try to imagine a red flame. Usually it turns into something else, but the goal is to focus on visualizations period. Once I can see them in front of me rather than my minds eye, then I know it's time. It kinda feels like VR now that I think of it. It started in my room. I got up and snapped my fingers. I was expecting to turn the light on, but it didn't. My snaps were also really weak. I was like, "Fine i'll just use the light switch." It didn't work either. So I sat back down on the bed and took two deep breaths. I then said something like "I'm in control." Then, it was real hard to focus out of no where like my memory got thanos snapped or something. Not long after, I awoke. I'm not jumping to any conclusions about what happened last night. In my experience, it's a one stop shop to mental blocks. Instead, I just need to find out how I can increase dream duration. Now that I'm thinking about it, stabilizing the dream probably wouldn't have hurt.

non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid FA / AP Riverstone is driving, he enters a roundabout but instead of moving forward, starts moving backwards. I wonder what's going on, but he also starts talking backwards. Everything is moving and happening backwards and then it starts moving faster and faster until it all becomes a blur and I lose consciousness. At a beach house with Riverstone. There are four cute white kittens in the house. I go around checking for more and find a disgusting bathroom. Besides the kittens, I am starting to regret these vacations. But then we meet a couple friends who are also vacationing at the next house and they bring along his friend, none other than Joseph Gordon-Levitt and I no longer regret coming. We have lots of fun, I try to casually get a selfie with him. Then there is also Angelina Jolie and for some reason she is upset with me. I start getting lucid. I don't know what I did to piss Angelina, but just for fun I engage with her and try to apologize, which makes her even more pissed. I get bored, decide to drop it and go outside. I find myself in some city streets, wonder what to do and decide not to waste any more time with frivolities. I wanna meet face to face with Vajrasattva. But where? I feel like I should be at some proper place before summoning the buddha. Then I spot a bridge with a 50 mt tower somewhere in the middle of it and I decide I'll do it at the top of it. I get to its base and look up. Then look down to the bridge railings and I feel vertigo. I tell myself it is not dangerous as I can even fly and be in control, but as soon as a lift off a few meters up, I feel to scared to continue. Everything looks too real and the vertigo just gets worse. So I wake up.
