    1. 3 short dreams or dream fragments

      by , 09-30-2010 at 02:45 PM
I was unsure if these were short dreams or dream fragments...nonlucid but decided to post anyways...

      Dream 1

I was in a space with no distinct walls or ceiling. A bunch of people I knew were standing around pretending to be conjoined twins by wearing large shorts. One of my recurring DC's was looking around for someone to get with but nobody wanted to be with him. Dream memory ends...

      Dream 2

All I remember is one of my friends walking down a dirt road. Also there is a vague memory of a car from a previous dream.

      Dream 3

Longest and most clear. I swear I saw Matt Smith, the 11th doctor from Doctor Who. Then I was with a bunch of people, getting autographs from some guy who was apparently a stunt double or stand-in for David Tennant when he was the 10th doctor. I heard his name but I don't remember it. I was standing around and he asked me if i had gotten an autograph. I said no and he gave me a white piece of paper which probably had his signature on it - as well as my own. Strangely I remember the individual letters of my name being clear and readable. Then the memory seems of skip and I find myself talking to the guy; he seemed very upset. I said something along the lines of "Only in jest, how did it feel being a stunt double for David Tennant?" He responded in a hurt and sarcastic voice: "Oh yes, in jest..." and I remember him going into a trailer door. I also remember looking down at his shoes. They weren't David Tennant's shoes, they were some kind of indistinct brown smudgy shoes. His coat was a different color too.
    2. Acceptance

      by , 09-30-2010 at 04:41 AM
I had a dream last night, I remember making a conscious decision to accept what was happening to me in the dream, although I was not aware I was dreaming. I assume this dream was triggered by the song I was listening to as I fell asleep named "2012" by The World Alive. I was standing on what I believed to be my grandmother's porch with my family inside, although upon waking I realized there was no resemblance to her house whatsoever. After eating what I believe to be Thanksgiving dinner I heard a hissing coming from outside. Upon walking outside I realized this hissing was a strong wind. I came to the conclusion that the world was ending and an asteroid had landed somewhere in Korea. I came to accept the reality that my life was ending and in my final moments, with my family screaming in horror for me to return inside their home I held out my arms as if to invite death to take me away. I stood there in a T shape, praying to someone, possibly god, possibly just a greater power, for a few moments before the light consumed me. I awoke to the realization I was alive. I smiled, and headed off.

    3. village, Toystory, choclate Monoply game, "Once upon a dream", Country Mouse and City Mouse, etc

      by , 09-29-2010 at 06:22 PM
On Sunday moring I had this dream: I dreamed that there was this village of old-fashion kids being led out of the village by a lamp that was held by an old woman. They were all walking in a line. Even a "expecting" woman was in the line.

Another night I had this dream: I was bugging mom about something and mom told me to go try a new game. I went downstairs and saw this game and I saw it said "clock to continue" its was like a chocolate Monopoly computer game. I than someone ended up in Toy Story. And after racing in Toy Story I ened up in a fairy tale castle. And there was this very handsome guy (who some I could tell was a prince--I think its was his aura). And a letter was sent to me from someone else (who I believe I was running from) saying something online the lines of I will come and knock down the castle. I have powers you know not. . This is when a voice over song happened "Once upon a Dream". Pretty soon I was singing it (so was the prince).

      Last night:
One second I was watching something between a cross of Country mouse and City mouse and Redwall TV shows. The next second I was in a movie or something. I believe I was just released from a dungeon or something. I was sitting on a the handle of a mace I believe. And the guards wanted to confiscate it. But I begged them not do since its the last thing I had of my family. But I had to play a fine of $500. Than I went up some staircases and I saw two too beautiful to be true women at the bottom. They said: "You are angry and you're alone". I bumped into a soild ghost of my mom (who is still alive in RLF). She said I could go play "sorceress for this afternoon."

      Riding the Wind (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

This dream was really the end of a longer dream that I can't quite remember. What I can tell you is that the rest of the dream was rather disjointed, and involved random things happening. The last non-lucid part that I remember involved a bunch of broken glass all over the room (from some rowdy guest or something? There were a bunch of nameless faces here, I think). I had to grab my little brother Jared and carry him out of there. Only thing was, he looked nothing like my actual brother. My little brother's also almost my size, both in the dream and in real life. Don't ask how I carried him, I don't know.

The part where my recall really picks up is right after this part. We're in one of our old houses that we moved out of a couple years back. Only me and my dad are here for some reason. He gestures towards, I believe, the kitchen and says "The purple is over there." Usually it takes something more absurd than that to make me wonder, but he was treating purple like it was an object. Anyways, I'm naturally curious now, and pick on him a bit for it. ("'The purple is over there...' Now how is that gonna help me Dad? Seriously? Purple?") I don't remember his response. Still curious, I hop up into the air, and float slowly down.
This is the only reality check I need, and I become lucid. Satisfied, I walk out of the house to try the thing that always comes to mind when I'm lucid without a plan -- flying. I step out and try a few smaller jumps, like off our porch, with limited success.

Here, though, I pause a moment to take in the scenery. The trees, the path and all, look beautiful. For just a moment, I slip into a bit of fuller awareness. The dream looks every bit as vivid as daily life, if not more, and I truly feel like I'm there. I savor this a bit longer before running off to try flying some more.

I'm lucid enough to realize the path isn't right here --it splits into two before reaching the road again, when it's really just a driveway. There were probably other inconsistancies, there always are, but I didn't pick up on them this time. I cross the road by our house, and on the other side there's a veritable cliff, which I jump off of without a second thought. Now I start gliding, with varying success. I glide level for a bit, then start to drop faster, which eases up as I get closer to the ground. Here I'm wavering, sometimes falling a bit, sometimes staying level, and sometimes actually rising a bit. All while I'm gliding forward at a respectable speed.
(I don't get the full effect of the wind on my skin, but I get some, and I consider this a success. It's certainly better than I normally manage.) As I start dipping towards the ground, approaching an ocean, my vision fades to black. It briefly comes back again when I land in the ocean. I turn around to see that I'm at the shore, and could climb up the beach, but the dream fades again before I can do much else.

    5. Wave 58: Best recall yet

      by , 09-29-2010 at 12:59 PM (The Meerkat's Lair)
Best recall ever had since I started. For two days I took a break, but now this definitly sparked my interest again. I know its not beaten my record in terms of number of dreams, but each and every one of them is so... complete
      UPDATE: Now 9 DREAMS(truly epic)
      In other words: NEW RECORD

Dream 1: In a pokemon battle. The arena is brown. My opponent has two Primeapes. I appear to have a Ralts and a fire poke (?). Throughout the turns, my ennemy switches out his primeape for a Xatu, then the other one for a Fire Primeape (which doesnt even exist). Meanwhile, I continuously exploit flash fire of Ralts (who traced it from Primeape). I wonder if the Xatu could easily kick the Primeapes ass. I try to Psychic with my Ralts.

Dream 2: Just remembered. I get in the Physical Education class which is once again happening in class instead of in the gym.
I think to myself that we already had our time in class. I also see very clearly in my head the sheet where it says which period is taken by MITIC.

Dream 3: Playing Combat Arms, I am using my trusty RPG (rocket launcher) to just freakin own. I get a Ultra kill by shooting between four players, then I jump down and pull out my other gun to kill to other guys. At that moment, I think to myself this is great since I never had an unbelievable, and now I get and Unbelivable+. I also hoped they wouldnt think im a hacker and kick me. The map was Junk Flea BTW. Then, and this one is fun, one guys shoots me with an RPG while I am on the rooftop. I avoid the missile closely, but then it rebounds back and hits me on the head. I laugh and think I got owned right there. It felt very real.

Dream 4: All of my class, including girls, play Magic the Gathering in class. I dont play anymore, so I watch. They all have blue cards, each and everyone of them. Then a narrator explains to me some cards that are misunderstood. I ask Frederique the question I always asked myself, and he tells me they count as one mana and not another mana card. I knew it . After watching a little more, I almost hope I had my cards. I pick a card from the deck and try to understand how it works. Its a grey creature with -9 written on it. Weird.

Dream 5: Now this was very close to lucid. I dont quite remember how I got there, but I am practicing dream control. Thats right, its possible to practice DC without dreaming (in a dream of course). My excuse for it was that there is consequences in RL but not in dreams. I was aware and decided to practice, but I didnt know I was dreaming. In this, I managed to: Make something appear directly in my hand, pulling a thing out of a mirror and most importantly feel like I was getting bigger and bigger. This gave me a glimpse of what shapeshifting would be like, and it was awesome. It really felt like it, physically and mentally. To pull out from a mirror, I looked in the mirror and saw something in my hand while it wasnt in my real hand. I would put my hand in the mirror, and hold the thing when it got out. Just remembered, theres also a part where my sis can clone herself and I try to make a dance choreography with her, which fails.

Dream 6: In the schoolyard, Meg Griffin sends out Neil to find a 275 year old girl. Out of context. Then I talk to Frederique (again) and ask him how he got that cloning machine. He tells me his father made it and it works like a charm. After asking how it works, he tells me u just get in and bingo. Eric joins the conversation and says Colin talked about it to him and hes interested. Hes wearing brown pants and brown/white T-shirt. Just as im about to ask if theres any chance you get out with three arms, I wake up.

Dream 7: Got this from a homework. We had to draw circles, squares and triangles for a math work. Then, we had to scribble on a certain amount of them to make a "shadow". In my dream, I am watching a tutorial of Word saying if we want to put a shade behind an image, u just press X button. I think its easier that way.

Dream 8: This one is limited to a sound. Yeah. Just my dad saying we should think about my drumming classes. The rest is black, but this WAS a dream. And it counts

Dream 9: In my bus, I am sitting and looking around. I think to myself "am I really in the same bus?" since I dont recognize people around me and just because I happened to wonder. I guess it didnt occur to me that I could be dreaming though

    6. Night of 9/28 - Damn it! This was pretty close!

by , 09-29-2010 at 12:16 PM (Grischkaja's world of dreams and mysteries)
Hello I had a few very vivid dreams, was really near to get lucid and I remember them surprisingly good. I now go to bed at a different time to get more sleep: I have to wake up at 5:40 am, so I went at 9:30 pm to bed to fall asleep around 10 pm. And today I don't feel so dizzy as yesterday

      1. I'm in my bedroom and I here noise downstairs. So I hurry to go downstairs to look what's going on. So I don't really pay attention how everything looks like. In one second I'm downstairs and I see that my parents bring a lot of boxes into the house. I help them a bit. By the way the boxes are heavy.
After a minute or two I'm suddenly in a different room (it looks like the attic of the old house I lived when I was a kid). My mum says to me that there is a letter for me from a publisher: it's an answer that I'm waiting for ages. So I get really excited, I already can imagine how the letter looks like. But she says to me that the letter isn't here, but in the neighbour-town She says to me that I have to hurry to get it before noon (no idea why) I open the door and suddenly I'm outsides in my home-town. I don't pay attention how I got there, because I just couldn't stop thinking of the letter!
I begin to run, for one second I asked me if I'm dreaming, look around me a bit but everything looked like normal. I wanted to look at my watch, but I'm not wearing it. "Great, I forgot it in the hurry", was my thought. So I said to me that everything was normal. Exact in the same time, I saw a friend. He was also running and he was running next to me. I didn't perform a RC, because I did it a second before
I said:"Oh hello Micheal", how are you doing?"
      - "I'm so ill!", said he and coughed really loud. "but I have to continue to jog, 'cause I have to loose weight"
      - "O really?"
      - "Yeah it's true"
Awkward silence. I feell that it is really chilly outsides and look down at my feet. I don't wear shoes, nor socks.
"WTF" was my first thought, but didn't developed my thinking into "OMG I'm dreaming!"; Instaed I said too him:
      - I guess that I too will catch cold! So you don't have to feel so lonely with your cold!
I looked down to his feet. He was bare food too
I don't see these oddities... -.- So I kept on running
Suddenly, I see that I'm really fast, I have the feeling that I even don't touch the ground while running.

      2. I'm in a bus. I don't remember the letter nor anything what happened previously... A few girls are sitting in front of me. They are talking about handbags Their conversation was like this:
      - I bought me a new hand-bag, didn't you notice it?
      - Yeah it's awesome! How much did you pay?
      - Well, last time I just spend 300 Yengins (I don't have a freaking idea what kind of money this is)...
      - But what about this time?
-... EEh it was one and a half Yengins
      - OMG, that's expensive!
      (Yes 1.5 is more than 300 )

I awake an hear an alarm clock. I'm not realizing it directly, but than I thought I was late. I looked at my alarmclock: it was 4:45 am. That's not the time I have to wake up. I do a RC (nose plug) I'm not dreaming. WTF, what's going on. I look around me: it's dark. I look again on the clock: 4:45am. The alarm went off.
It was another alarm clock of my watch, that I set up in August to wake me up to WBTB+WILD, but it never woke me up
So scribbled down some notes. I noticed that my mind was clear, but my body was really hard to move. So I tried WILD. I kept on thinking mind awake, body asleep. After a few minutes, I was in N1: i saw colours, monochromatic, I felt also the "tetris effect" (I felt the movements of a driving bus, 'cause I spent 3hours in a bus through the day), Suddenly I heared waves of bizarre sound, I've got a buzzing sensation. It wasn't really SP, because I could still move a finger or toe, without loosing the sensation. But after 5 minutes or so it simply stopped and I felt really awake. My attempt didn't worked. I did another RC, it turn out I was still awake. So I just fall to sleep normally.

      3. I'm in a car. My friend drives it. The radio was static, and didn't work. SO I pushed a few buttons to fix the problem, but it doesn't work. Suddenly I hear a loud noise and I awake.

It's my alarm clock, but now it's time to get up defenitly (after doing RC)

      The end

    7. #158. Soul Eater

by , 09-29-2010 at 05:40 AM (Things to Run Away From Really Fast)
      ★★★★☆

      09/28/10

      Killing from the shadows.

I get tied up a lot. I would wonder at the Freudian implications of that, but I'm a little busy right now. What with being tied to a chair, and all. I'm at the center of an empty conference room, surrounded on all sides by bare floor space. It's almost like the huge room, with its fluorescent lights and grey carpet, is supposed to be intimidating or something. The syndicate's second in command swaggers into the room. He's an older man with greying hair, and wearing a business suit. He's confident, and self-assured, and my gods do I want to beat the smirk off of his face. He's walking towards me, and stops three feet away.

      Get closer, I dare you.

"How is it," says the man, leaning in, "That you got in here? Our defenses should be impenetrable."

I tilt my head to the side, deliberately widening my eyes. "Should they, really?"

The man scowls. "You should tell us what we want to know. Things might get... unpleasant for you, otherwise."

This is going to be the most cliched interrogation ever.

"Hm," I pretend to think about it. "No."

The man growls. His arm swings back, and suddenly I'm released from my bonds. I surge forward, catching him off balance, and use his arm to throw him to the floor. I'm on top of him in an instant, grabbing him by the sides of the head. I lift up, and I smash his head into the floor. The back of his skull impacts with a dull thud, and the man struggles, feebly. I lift again, smash his skull into the floor until the back of his head is a pulpy, bloody mess.

      Well, I feel better.

I exit the room, closing the door behind me. No guards. I sense someone approaching, and I duck into a hallway running across a glass wall. Outside, I can see the city, sparkling in the night. This building is mostly office space, but that's a front for something larger. Hell, the ground floor is actually a mall, teeming with people during the day.

The footsteps are getting closer. The guard rounds the corner next to me. I duck behind him and lock an arm behind his back, and use his momentum to push him into the window. He grunts with the impact, and cracks spiderweb across the glass. Before he can pull himself together, I'm pulling him back, away from the window. With a blast of telekinetic energy, he goes flying. The window breaks, and the man goes tumbling out into the street, several stories below.

I run up a staircase, trying to avoid the patrolling guards. The longer I can hold off the alert, the more time my partner has to find -

The dream is destabilizing. My surroundings are a blur of light blue and white. I feel blinded, fully aware that I won't be able to see the guards before they find me. I'm trying to hold onto the dream, and I sense it. It's a shadow, human-shaped and in the room next to me. One of the guards - his aura is completely black, and I can feel him getting closer. He solidifies as a human shadow -

I strike out at him, hitting him in the temple. Before he has a chance to react, I have him in a full nelson, choking him. He's losing oxygen, starting to pass out.

He doesn't have to die, I could just knock him out. Maybe I should stop killing them. This is their job, they probably have families. No. I'm just too close, physically. I'm feeling his fear. A memory washes across the surface of his mind. He's on a job, on a team with three others. Capturing a girl. They rape her.

I freeze. I almost recoil, but the man's waking up, starting to struggle.

A snarl of rage is coming from me, and I throw him to the ground. I disable his vocal cords with a wave of my hand, and he's inching away, trying to scream for help. I weave a wordless spell in blue, lay it over him.

He's frozen for a moment, as he begins to lift up into the air, gravity losing its effect on him. I'm standing back now, as he starts to tug against invisible bonds. I summon another wave of energy.

Glass shatters into thousands of pieces, and this man, too, goes flying. He's falling up, though, up and up and up, screaming soundlessly, clearing the outcropping near the top of the skyscraper, falling into the sky.

Even if the spell fails before he hits the stratosphere, well. It's a long way down.

      Killing in the open.

I'm surrounded. Six mooks in blue, four fighters in red, and the leader, a Djinn. Bald and muscular, covered in shifting blue tattoos, he's easily the most threatening presence in the room.

I wave my hand, sending a wave of kinetic energy at them. Four out of six mooks have their necks snapped, dead before they hit the ground. The remaining combatants have too strong of a will to be taken out of the game so easily.

I need a stronger spell. I call up blue-tinted soul energy, holding it in my right hand, and I rush one of the mooks and force it into his chest. I can feel his heartbeat, one, two, and the energy pulses, entwining with his soul and pulling it out of him.

I'm counting numbers in my head: 20, 24. The numbers seem arbitrary, but they help me keep track of the soul energy. If I hit zero, I'll be powerless.

The Djinn hits me from behind, and I can feel my numbers sink to 17. Snarling, I pull free of his grip and hit him with a pulse of the energy. He's flying backwards and I'm down to 16.

The red-shirts are in my way, and I down two, one with each hand. Their souls pulse out and back into their bodies, frying them. I absorb the excess. 27.

I'm ready this time. I block the Djinn, meeting his attack with a soul shield. The energy sparks dangerously with the impact, and we're both forced back, sliding several feet. 23.

Where are the other guys? The floor is conspicuously empty. Jim Gordon is standing on the sidelines, surrounded by the remaining mooks. They've got his gun.

Cursing, I put up an energy shield as I fry the mooks with soul energy. 7. "Run!" I shout at him, "Get the fuck out of here!"

He's hesitating. Why is he hesitating?

My shield is draining me. I'm blocking an attack by the Djinn. 4. "You have all the evidence we need to shut them down! You need to get out!"

Something in my tone convinces him. He's turning on his heel and running, and I'm turning around to face the Djinn.

"I can take care of things on this end," I say, and I let the shield drop.

      Happy endings.

I'm walking through the building at the mall level, a skip in my step. It's daylight, and there are people around. A feeling of contentment is going through me, and I ignore the graves being built near the side entrances of the mall.

I'm a child, and I construct a mother DC out of nothing.

Something is coming to an end, some mystery was solved. It feels like closure.

      Scare Factor: 4/10

On second thought, think I may have lost that fight. Djinn in the Supernatural universe "grant wishes" by trapping their victims in a dream world and sucking out their life energy. Happy ending? I don't think so.

I think this deserves another play-through.

(P.S. This has nothing to do with the anime of the same name.)

      September 28, 2010

      Asleep by 1:30am

My notes are confusing me... Anyways...

      New apartment
Jack and I were moving into a new place (this has been coming up a lot lately. I think I must really desire living on my own, or our own; as opposed to my current location, which is my parent's basement suite). It seems like we're moving into the university residence apartments. I remember us moving boxes. That's about it.

      Overpass of doom
There is a pedestrian overpass. It's a bi-level, metal and not very.... safe. It doesn't have much in the way of guard rails, and it tends to sway. And for some reason, Tim was out in the middle of this overpass (lower level), over traffic, and not moving.

I went out onto the upper level to help him out. I was crawling along it, cos the thing was very scary, and I had more stability this way. I reached Tim (who I couldn't see, since he was on the lower level). We both sat there for a bit, taking it easy so we wouldn't fall. I looked below and saw the cars passing underneath. I started to sing, to calm my nerves, and felt the overpass shake, because Tim started drumming to it I shouted at him to stop drumming, he's going to shake us off of here!

We both started inching along, and made it off the overpass, safely. As I descended from the steps, I caught sight of Darren, who had been watching us, tensely. His face lit up when he saw that we were okay, and we ran towards each other. I jumped at him and he swung me around, and he held me tight and told me how worried he was while I was up there. Dream ended

Awake at 4:30-ish, natural. I reviewed my goal for the night (instead of using the front door idea, I wonder if I will have any luck in finding my brother if I ask a DC to point me in his direction? Anyways, it would also kill off the advanced task, cos if they say they haven't seen him, I was going to plant the idea that they would offer their help. DC's are always around in my dreams, so... it's worth a shot). All in all, it was a good WBTB and actually a good MILD mantra while falling back to sleep, but in the end, it wasn't successful.

      Breakfast fragment
I was cooking sausage in a frying pan, but not at the stove Rather, I was somehow cooking it while sitting on a couch. I got up when it was done, and Jack got upset that it was the only thing I was eating. He made me cook off some tater hashbrowns.

      Theatre fragment
I recall being in a line up with the crew of a play I was working on. Unfortunately, I can't remember much else about this dream, other than this... being with the crew. The theatre walls had dark drapes hanging from them.

    9. First Lucid Experience

      by , 09-28-2010 at 11:02 PM
For my first overwhelmingly lucid dream, I found it to be just that; overwhelming. It was fun and frightening at the same time (the frightening part eventually leading to my downfall). This dream had everything I had read about in it and it's invigorating to write it down.

I went to take a nap at about 2:45 after I put in a set of ear plugs. Shortly after repeating in my head over and over again that I would "Have a lucid dream" and "Remember that I was dreaming" I felt like there was some sort of drift, or maybe lapse of conscience I've read about.

Then quickly I was enveloped into this scene where I was having a hard time standing up. Having already had a previous dream like this still relatively fresh in my memory, I overcame that weakness and stood up, in which time I got into a car with my buddy Matt. Driving like a madman, and looking even more so like one (I'm talking trippy), and laughing out of control.

Eventually I turned my head to look out the window and we were driving through the densest forest of what seemed to look like giant green asparagus. As soon as I started to focus in on what was around me I started to get a little bit excited and then the entire environment around me shifted as the asparagus turned from a deep green to an eerie, photographic negative feel in which time I feel into a bright white room where the vibrations came.

I've read and heard about the vibrations on all of the forums and documentaries and nothing could quite describe what this was like. I knew all well what they were but all I could see was myself holding my ears wanting it to stop, even though deep down I thought the entire experience was breath-taking, literally... I started breathing fast and becoming overwhelmingly fearful and wanting it to stop. Finally, I took some deep breaths and slowly came out.

I sat in my bed in awe for about ten minutes afterwards. Cool as anything.

    10. HH and a nightmare

      by , 09-28-2010 at 10:33 PM
more progress as far as experience goes.

woke up several times at night and repeated my mantra whenever i was conscious. at 4:00 am i tried sleeping on my right side and curled my legs. i noticed i was quickly falling back asleep so i desperately repeated my mantra while falling asleep.i was definitely conscious when i heard someone open my door and tried talking to me this noise stopped after about 5-10 seconds. i believe i was still conscious when i noticed green lights appearing out of pitch black. the green lights began to pulse towards me(probably a HH). as the pulses hit me i felt very tense and couldn't move. my heart was beating rapidly and i may have been moaning. it wasnt long until i noticed a dream forming and i was pulled into it. i was standing on a hill above a city. there was a UFO in the night sky. it had a white glow with several tails of light behind it. it stops in the center of the city and begins to shoot pulses of green light towards me(just like the HH) and i felt tense and couldn't move, again. the dream lasted about 5 minutes.

ive never experienced a hypnagogic hallucination before so i was very excited when i woke up. it took me an hour to go back to sleep.

after falling asleep again i had a longer dream/nightmare. it began with me walking with my friends to our cars. i got in tom's car to go get my car at some other place. we drove threw a junk yard till we reached a small public building with a small park behind it. we all go to the park and see several small trees filled with abnormally large spiders in them. i began to panic because i hate spiders but i wouldnt say this was a nightmare, yet. i tried to convince my friends to go hang out somewhere else. after about 10 minutes of avoiding any contact with the spiders we finally leave. we go to the car but i somehow ruin my clothes and have to change. as im changing clothes my new clothes disapear. somehow my friends took them as a prank so i had to go look for them outside, naked. it was embarrassing as i walked past people with my hands over my junk. i walked through the park with all the spiders and felt extremely vulnerable becuz i was nude and surrounded by giant spiders. after walking around looking for my clothes i wake up via alarm. i havnt had a nightmare in forever.

    11. One super long dream

      by , 09-28-2010 at 12:03 PM (Ranbow Island - Otis's Dream Journal)
Interrupted by several FAs, and real awakenings I had one really long awesome dream. I'm not going to type the entire thing out, but the gist of it was: I was a mermaid. i went lucid a couple time becuase i was breathing under water, and at out point santa clause was harassing me, but i let myself slip back into the dream because it was just to fun.

      by , 09-28-2010 at 04:07 AM (Doctor's Dreams)
I was going to wait til the New year to restart writing my dreams down but I decided when I had the first lucid in a while. My old dream Journal can be found in the grandfather Journals under Doctor's Dreams.

      Blow Job and Go

I don't remember the beginning of it but I remember that I went though a lot of trouble to get a blow job from a girl named Brittany. She was not the version that she is IRL but that didn't matter. We were under something and I remember here starting the blowjob. I had barely sat down when I exploded cum all over her face. I was lucid but for some reason not interested in exploration. I looked at her and cracked up. I said "Gotta Go!" and opened my dream eyes extremely wide. At this point I was waking up on purpose. It was very weird because although my dream eyelids were practically stretching off my face I could feel my second set, my real set of eyelids, still closed. Eventually with enough effort they were forced open and I awoke.

    13. #157. Keys to the Kingdom

by , 09-28-2010 at 04:00 AM (Things to Run Away From Really Fast)
      ★★★★☆

...or "Taking Over a Country in Five Easy Steps".

      09/27/10

"Your son, your majesty, is a psychotic despot who's been running your country into the ground."

      "And you have a solution?"

"Your youngest child went missing several years ago. You should inform your court that I have returned."

Johanna swings the sword furiously at her attacker. Her blonde hair, braided into a plait, sweeps through the air as she ducks his return attack. She's on the defensive, frantically blocking his sword, barely avoiding being cut. The man's face is expressionless as he forces her into a corner.

A slow clapping starts up from across the room. The attacker stills, and Johanna steps away, keeping her sword ready.

"Bravo," says the man on the other side of the room. "You've done extraordinarily well, getting this far."

"I'll kill you," she hisses back, not taking her eyes from the bodyguard, "For destroying my family."

"With that sword?" asks the prince, "I think not."

"I've fought my way through your legions," she pronounces, "Decimated them."

"Yes," says the prince, "But then, you had someone to protect, which is the purpose of your enchanted sword. Tell me, where is your brother?"

"He's dead," says Johanna, "Murdered by your men!" On the last word, a knife materializes in her other hand. She rushes the bodyguard, swipes down, slicing at his face.

Blood splatters against the wall, and Johanna clutches at her throat in surprise. She falls to the ground, aware that she's bleeding out. From the corner of her eye, she can see another man emerge from the shadows. Stupid, she thinks, should have realized he would have backup...

She's standing on a stone bridge, which spans the entirety of a mountainous valley. At the end of the bridge is a city. Blue spires reach up into the sky, and Johanna is dimly aware that she's looking at the Capitol City. This was her home, before everything. It's still peaceful. The sky is blue, and sunlight shines down, lighting up the valley and the mist with an ethereal glow. The valley is lush, full of greens and grains and enough food keep most of the kingdom from growing hungry. It's almost unbelievable, that such an awe-inspiring sight could hide such a great evil.

"I brought you back." I tell her.

Johanna turns to look at me. "Why?" Her face is blank, but I can hear the anguish in her voice.

"I don't think you understand," I say slowly, "I brought you back. Nothing you've endured has happened yet. Your family is still alive."

She's quiet for a moment, looking out over the blue lustre of the city in the distance. "What's the catch?"

I have to smile at that. "You can prevent all of this from happening," I say, "If you do exactly as I say."

plots to pacify the population with the latest crop of sweet potato, wading through water fields under the bridge

I'm standing in a stone building (opulence, splendor) at the centre of the city. I know the precise moment that it happens, because it feels like a string is being cut. And just like that, destiny has been rewritten. The prince is dead, long live the prince.

A cell phone chimes in my pocket. I answer on the third ring.

"Hello, 'Father'," I say, irony in my tone. "So, when is my coronation?"

      Scare Factor: 3/10

Wait, wait. Your crown prince is an evil sociopath, so you want my dream self to rule instead? Good luck with that.

      1. Establish yourself as an heir to the throne.
      2. Find someone who wants the prince dead.
      3. Bring them back in time.
      4. Assassinate the prince.
      5. How old was the king, again?
    14. High with my new friend, drunk with my old mom

      Length: 30 min
      Dream Non-dream

I was walking up a hill, and I saw my friend C at the top. I've known him for a while, but have just started really hanging out with him. He was there with a one hitter, I sat down and toked with him.

He said to hold it so people thought it was a cigarette. "I know the deal man," I said. We sat there and smoked for 3 minutes or so. I looked at it, it looked like a joint for a second. I then noticed that the weed came all the way through ,and it was all hollow. So now I noticed that the weed was burning the whole way through, and if I hit it wrong, I would burn my lips. I pucked my lips around it to avoid the embers. A little bit got in my mouth, but it wasn't hot. It was done, good high. Me and C walked around a bit, and he told me there was weed at the telephone pole I looked up, There was a telephone line going through a freeway. It was twenty feet above me, and I'd have to walk around to get on the freeway.

I told him "bullshit, no way" and he said he was joking. I left him and went to a flea market. I saw my mom there. We walked around and shopped for a couple minutes, then we started talking about drugs. I asked her if I'd get to drink with her next year when we went to Europe. She said of course I would, and that I'm gonna need to learn to drink before we go. I asked if she would drink with me now, and she said yes, but only in the safety of our home.

We drive home. She brings me to a bar that my aunt owns (apparently). It was a corner shop, a small rounded bar with a garage door instead of a normal entrance. She closed the garage door so no one would interrupt. My aunt asked me what liquor I would like. I asked her what kind she had. "Vodka, super vodka, vodka on the rocks, vodka mixed, sherley temple, pina colada, black forest, amputated leg (my friend makes these in real life, not sure if they're official or a home recipe) and the obvious choices of whiskey, UV vodka (I like my vodka), rum, kahlua, and wine."

"Well.... I'd like to try it all," just about the best thing I could have said. She made ma a sherley temple and I sipped on it while I saw her make "super vodka" during. She said the key to vodka drinks is to add a lot of ice. She put vodka half way up a huge blender (5 liters prolly) then filled it all with ice. She added some garnish and some red stuff, then added more ice till it was overflowing at the top, but it didn't overflow, because it all stuck together. She added half a shaker full of salt and all of a sudden it collapsed on itself, and the ice shrunk down with the vodka and whatnot so that it was filled with only 1/5 the way with ice/vodka. I thought it was a neat trick. Then she added more vodka and ice, blended it all up, and gave me a cup.

Strong shit, might I say. The weed was holding up well, and I could just start feeling the liquor, they put 20 shot glasses in front of me, with my mom, all different liquors. All of a sudden the place was crowded and I had to hide my drinking. She asked how it was, and I said it tasted good, but it wasn't "good enough" afraid to tell my mother I wanted strong drink. I took some sips out of my sherley temple and thought "I hate how dreams cause you to only be high/drunk if you think about it," I became more drunk from thinking that, and then walked out to the car with my mom.

I woke up. Overall, good dream.

I'm teaching myself to reinforce the idea that I'm dreaming when it comes up by focusing more about dreaming when I think it up. Should prove useful.

    15. A highly vivid Non-Lucid.

      by , 09-28-2010 at 03:02 AM (LUCIDMAX's max lucids!)
I was at some kind of old shopping mall. It was made up of old red bricks, with a strange gooey substance used as cement. I looked up to the sky, and saw a moonless night. That pitch black sky that seems to swallow your being. Feeling a shiver of anticipation, I moved in through the vast, (I mean really vast) gates that had rusted iron bars in them. I could see the rust flying in little flakes due to the breeze and moving around, as the dust moves around in Lion King.
Thinking something along the lines of, "I am wasting my dream time.", I proceeded, still blissfully non-lucid. The dream was highly detailed, perhaps my most detailed dream yet. I remember noticing each and every little detail as I walked. The crunches of the dried leaves beneath my feet, the smell of the damp air, and the feel of each and every rock as I stepped on it. It was so clear, that for a moment I truly believed it to be real life, for such detail couldn't exist in a dream.
I saw many shops on my left and right, as I walked through that boulevard. Most of them were closed, and the ones that were open were more like houses, or even inns. I went inside a shop, noticing the sign that was suspended above it's door rocking back and forth due to the wind. I entered inside, and the whole atmosphere changed. It was like stepping from a freezing blizzard into a cozy, well-heated room. Technically, it WAS just that. I could see people roaming about here and there, all in red and white Santa Claus suits that made them look goofy. The were all good natured. No one minded me, nor did anyone ignore me. They politely welcome me in and directed me towards a room.
I sense of romance overcame me as I entered the room and saw, to my surprise, an exquisitely beautiful young lady sitting there on the window, which was wide open. The moon hung in the sky like a compliment to her beauty. She was dressed an a lavish cocktail dress, also of red color, exposing and hiding just the right amount of skin to make one go oblivious just looking at the wearer.
Something else caught my attention. Her eyes. She had the most striking eyes I had every seen. And yet, they were brimming with tears, tears that were never quite let loose, but sat there on her lower eye lid as if they were unsure to fall or not. The eyes reflected sadness as I had never seen before.
As soon as she saw me, her face lit up. It was almost as if she had been waiting for me all this time. Pushing aside that thought, I began to ask for her name, but found myself deprived of speech as her lips made contact with mine, and was locked in a tight embrace. I stood there in an eerily real non-reality, immersed in this moment of emotion. For how long we kissed, I do not know. It could have been a second, minute, or even an hour. It was just me and her, and the silent moon smiling at the re-union.
BOOM! The whole house, which was now a mansion, shook with a great force. A missile had just hit the far side of the mansion. Breaking apart quickly, I grabbed the lady and half-carried, half-pushed her towards the door. I heard a faint hissing noise nearby, and saw another missile, like a deadly firework, homing towards me. In that split second, I knew I would survive no longer. Pushing the girl out of harm's way, for all good it could do, I attempted to run away myself. No good.
BOOM! Another blast, much louder and fiercer that the first, shook the ground. Tiny balls of metal came shooting towards me, and tore my body apart. The pain was unimaginable. I could literally see those little balls of metal coming towards me in slow motion, and hit me. As I lay there half-dead, I saw a mysterious box lying not far from me. Somehow, I knew that it was supposed to be lit on fire, which would transport me to a safe place. Not having the strength to get up and look around for a match, I tried pyrokinesis. I imagined my fury flowing from my hands towards that little stone box, and heating it up. With a huge effort, I finally managed to give it enough energy to light up on it's own.
Oh shit, I thought. It was a trap! From a third-person view, I saw that box explode in the biggest explosion yet, and create a big ball of flames rise up high. I saw my own body fly around with the force of the bomb. I was back to first-person again. As I was flung around, about to meet my death, I thought about how unfortunate it was, 'How sad it is if a flower doesn't bloom?'. Those were the words that came to my mind.
As the pain became unbearable, I woke up.

Sorry for the late updates, readers. It was a difficult period I went through, a lot of ups and downs. Nevertheless, I am here now, and shall keep updating my DJ. Note, as I didn't get much time to spend on my LDing skills, my lucids are low on count these days. I will still share the non-lucids, though. ^_^

Also, should I add more pictures to the dream journal entries. Personally, I think the details I remember should be good enough to create a whole environment in your mind. That is the art of the writer. What do you guys think?
