task of the month dreams
Lying in bed, trying to WILD/fall asleep. Watching FMA Brotherhood with wife. Scar is speaking; wife comments on his scarred face. He looks a little weird to me--part of his face is white (Scar's character is brown-skinned in the show). Fast-paced outro music begins: It seems clear that Scar is going to die in this next episode. My wife talks about them playing up his sacrifice. I am now looking at a Super Mario Bros. screen. Realize it is a dream, but am not sure if this is a transition so do nothing. Currently I have no body. Playing Mario Bros. 3 world 1 map music: (sorry gang, couldn't post two videos--look the second one up!) Mario flies off wearing his cape from Super Mario World. The game transitions to some weird game with a naked baby's butt. Dream has solidified now and I have a body. I slap the baby's butt through the screen to see if I can interact with the game. I don't feel anything except for the t.v. screen, but the character reacts. I try to pick the baby up this fails. Danie Radcliffe from Harry Potter is sitting in a hot tub. He criticizes me for not picking up the baby correctly. I knock him backwards into the water. Move around the screen a bit--maybe some kind of office in isometric third-person view, like the old Crusader games. Some zombies wandering around. I decide I don't want to play a game for my entire LD, so I get up and leave the room. Emerge in my mom's house, then remember to observe the dream. A thought comes up: can I remember any of the January tasks? Ah yes, I remember to new ones. Shouldn't be hard. But I'm not going to try hard. Just observe, and if the necessary tools emerge, then use them. I think I see a component resting on a cabinet, but when I look it is not there. I am looking inside of a cabinet when I wake up. Lie still and begin DEILD transition. Roll off of the mat and am falling through space. Seems to be going well, but keep knocking against something as I fall. I try to ignore it but then wake up. Try once more, then RC and write this down.
December 30, 2015 I've Gotten Soft I was a wolf, and was worried that I'd gotten soft, because I was hanging out with a bear and a beaver. But then some bad human was scheming something; he wanted to catch the animals where I lived by laying traps for them. I switched to being the beaver or some other small mammal, and warned the wolf that what the bad human brought to our home was going to seem like it was a good thing, but was actually going to destroy our world... But the wolf smelled some pot pies on an island across the river from where we stood. I think we had been on a railroad track, right next to the opening of a tunnel. When we got to the small island with the pot pies on it though, we started pulling weeds because we wanted the place to be beautiful. This somehow foiled the bad human's plans, and he was moaning and grieving back on the train tracks. I woke up from this random and short dream, but wasn't ready to get up yet, so I tried to fall back asleep. I usually have my best dreams at these moments... I wasn't disappointed. I had this dream next: Beach Fun I was on a beach with my family. My brothers and I were playing a sort of shooting game, where we had to see how close to shooting each other we could get without actually hitting each other. The guns suddenly turned into those nerf dart guns after a squabble where I apparently shot too fast consecutively. My little brother shot me and the dart stuck right to my chest. Then I shot my big brother three times; in the arm, the neck, and the hip. After our battle, we all wanted to go for a walk along the shore. But we had a lot of stuff out with us, so we had to go take it to the car so it would be safe. The car was all the way at the back of the parking lot though, so we had to walk a ways. Dad said he would bring the car around after the first load of stuff, so that we wouldn't have to walk so far next time. I spotted an open parking spot much closer to the beach, and suggested we just move the car there. On the way to the car, I looked into the woods to my left and noticed huge giraffe replicas. I'm talking like seven-story building tall giraffes. There were maybe 6 or 8 of them, all posed as if walking to the beach to our right. They looked just like real giraffes, just much bigger. To my right, there were some large pelican statues. One of them had its wings out as if beating them to scare enemies away. For some reason my big brother then hatched out of a giant egg near the pelican statues. I was a bit confused, but he seemed to think it was totally normal. We crossed a small pedestrian bridge that was more like a large log over the water, and the ground shook momentarily. I looked up and saw the neck of one of the large giraffes moving. I was scared that they were coming to life and were going to smoosh us, but they didn't. It looked at me, then moved back to its original position and everything stopped moving again... At this point, my consciousness was slightly shifted; I was The Doctor, but I was still me. If that makes sense. I looked in the woods to the left again, and saw about five Tardises. I blinked, and they were gone. I was very excited, because another Tardis meant there might be another Time Lord than me! My family all went back to the beach area, and I snuck back out to the woods to find the other Time Lords. It was dark now, and when I saw the 5 of them again, I was so exstatic. I wasn't alone! But as I drew nearer, they started morphing from blue Police Call boxes into red Phone Boothes, and I paniced. They all started randomly phasing in and out of Tardis, and never seemed to stay as a Tardis by the time I reached them. I finally managed to catch one of them as it was blue, but then Emma Stone walked out of it and the sound of flushing came to my mind. They were all just porta-potties, and I'd just been too excited. Emma was drunk as all get out, though. She was stumbling and looked like she was going to vomit again. I helped her get to her cabin, only about fifty feet from the potty. Her mom was inside, and they both thanked me so much and almost worshipped me for some reason. They invited me to a festival that was happening the next day, but I was already going with my family, so I declined. Flash forward to my family and I leaving the spot on the beach again. My mom and I are in Yukatas, and we are headed for the festival. The parking lot was lined with all sorts of stalls, and my mom wanted to take pictures of me all over the place. But I couldn't see any of the giant giraffes anymore. This made me suspect I was dreaming, so I looked down to my hands, and noticed I had an extra pinky finger on my right hand. I was dreaming! I wanted to set off a firework, which was perfect, because I was at a festival. There were usually fireworks at these things, right? I looked behind a few stalls, because that's where I thought they would have fireworks stored for later. After a few stalls, I found a stash. I grabbed some of the biggest ones, and stuffed them into the folds on my Yukata. Normally, they shouldn't have had any business fitting, but it was a dream. Yukatas are apparently like a Tardis; bigger on the inside. I decided to wander for a bit, and noticed something fishy about the trees all around me. I shuffled behind a bush, and inspected the bases of the trees. They turned out to be made of metal. The trunks were cut into strips at the bases, and then bent outwards slightly to create a slight fanning out. It was kind of beautiful, in a way. I appreciated the artistry and patience of whoever could have created a whole forest of metal trees that looked so real. I wanted to set off the fireworks now, but it was still light. I closed my eyes and willed it to get dark, envisioning the sun setting. When I opened my eyes, it was still light, but when I looked through the metal branches and leaves of the trees above me, I could see the sun moving fast through the sky. In about 20 seconds it was sunset. The sun slowed a bit, and the sunset lasted a few minutes, it was beautiful, but the trees blocked a lot of the colors. Soon, it was dark enough for fireworks. I hopped on over to the beach, flying through a small path in the woods that lead to the water. I stuck the fireworks in the sand near the water (but not close enough for them to get wet), and realized I had no matches. I could have tried sticking my hand in my pocket... But I wanted to try it Roy Mustang style. I went back to the tree-line, and snapped my finger a couple times, expecting there to be fire when I did. It took a few tries. When I was confident I could summon the flames this way, I aimed and snapped a bolt of fire at the fuses for the rockets. It worked, and this made me want to try other things with fire... (Backstory required here... When I was a kid, two of my friends and I would spend our time creating elaborate fantasy worlds in which we each controlled an element and ruled over a kingdom. I ruled over fire, and even made a whole story back this world. Anyways, I wanted to try some of the things "I" could do in this fantasy world of mine) I wanted to try making a disc of fire that I could stand on. I'd spent so long thinking about how these things worked while writing the story, so I just did what I had imagined many times already, and it worked pretty well. It was familiar and nostalgic. I held out my hands and there it was. I moved it up, down, side to side a bit before stepping onto it. But I remembered the fuses on the fireworks just as they went off. I also wanted to follow the firework so I could watch from the inside, so I shot off after it. I'm not sure if I was flying with the flame disc or if I'd just left it hovering there. I caught up to the firework, and then it went off, and it was so cool. It wasn't so much firework-looking as just flashes of color blinding everything else out of my vision. It lasted a lot longer than a normal firework. There was a sort of pinkish orangish background haze around me, and lots of lines of colors shooting out from where my feet were. Some shimmers and sparkles, too. When it was over, I just hovered in the air for a bit. I was a little dazed, and felt the dream destabilizing, so I tried rubbing my hands together. I've never tried that to keep a dream, so I wasn't sure how well it would work. I just then remembered a dare I'd seen for anyone. I wanted to get into those dares. The only one I could think of, which randomly popped into my head then, was to fall from a height without slowing down, or something like that. Something about hitting the ground at full speed. The dream was a little fuzzy, but the rubbing was helping a little bit, so I darted over a bit so I would be above the sand, and not the water like I was right then, and hovered for a bit. This took a lot of mental preparation for me; falling is maybe my biggest fear, and it's that way because of a dream I had when I was little... So even though it was a dream, I still felt scared and in danger. I had my hands balled into fists, so I decided that the signal to fall would be un-clenching my hands and spreading my fingers... but the dream destabilized again and I woke up.
I had a short dream fragment to start. I was just promoted as a new moderator of DreamViews. I was to be in charge of chat, and my title on my profile was "The Nicest Mod". *wink wink nudge nudge* --- I was at my college, trying to get a 71 bus back to my dorm. I jumped on the first bus I could find, and an old friend T was there. We talked for a bit, until I realized that I was on a 72 bus instead. I got out at the next stop, and I was in this suburban area that kind of looked like the neighborhood I grew up in. I saw my friend M, so i asked if he saw a 71 bus. He ran around the corner of the block where there was another 72 bus parked. He looked down the street, and then said that a 71 had just left. We decided it was best to just walk. --- I was back at my high school, in one of the old classrooms. Most of the people from my graduating class were there, as well as a few younger kids who looked to be in second grade. They were all working hard to make a rope out of beads so they could escape out the second floor window. Just then, a teacher looked in through the window in the door, saw what we were doing, and came in and yelled at us. Then the scene kind of restarted. This time, I helped them tie some of the beads together, and we finally had a long enough rope to get out. Unfortunately, the teacher came in and busted us yet again. The scene restarted again. This time, I was counting the seconds until the teacher would show up. I tried to warn everyone that the teacher would be coming, but I had something in my mouth and throat that made me unable to say anything. I started banging on my desk and motioning towards the seat. My friend M realized what I was doing, and yelled for everyone to sit down. Everyone rushed to their seats and looked like they were behaving. We waited for about a minute, but the teacher never even walked by. Everyone got back up and went back to work. One girl asked me why I thought that the teacher was coming. I told them that I had just kind of sensed it, since I had had this dream multiple times before. I thought of what I was saying, and then it occurred to me that this was a dream. Just then, everyone rushed to their seats again, and the teacher walked in. She lectured us for a little bit, but then yelled at one of the students who didn't address her as "ma'am". She treated us like little kids, and then she decided to give us a quiz on "10 differences between birds and humans". By this point, I had had enough. I raised my hand. "Yeah, can I ask a question?" There was a collective gasp from everyone in the classroom, and a slight murmur of fear. "Well, what is it?" I did a quick nose plug RC to make sure I was really dreaming before I dropped the bombshell. "What exactly is the point of this?" There was another loud gasp from the class. This made me feel like more needed to be said, since it was obvious this teacher had been abusing the students into submission, so no one had the backbone to stand up to her. "Why do you think you can drag us - students who graduated from this school almost three years ago - back here and force us to listen to your second grade lessons?" The gasps of surprise changed to shouts of "Yeah", and "That's true!" I felt powerful, like I was about to start a revolution. "And furthermore, how can you punish us for doing the right things wrong, and punish us for doing the wrong things right?" Even in the dream, I knew this comment made zero sense, but it made the class go crazy. They were just about ready to burn the witch, basically. The teacher was furious and stormed out of the classroom to the applause of the class. I figured one coup was enough for today, so I decided to actually get some stuff done. I thought of the TOTMs and remembered the coal task, although I thought it required giving the coal to a little kid. I reached in my pocket for coal, but I couldn't find any. I affirmed to myself that there was coal in my other pocket, but I couldn't find it there either. After two or three attempts, I realized that I was saying the words, but still had some doubt as to if it would happen or not. Once I did an RC and reminded myself that I was dreaming, I patted my pockets and felt a hard lump in my right pocket. I reached in and pulled out a lump of coal wrapped in wax paper. It had icing on the top, which made it look like a cupcake, but I scraped it off as best as I could. I looked for the younger kids that were in our classroom, but all of them were gone. I walked out into the hallway, but it was empty. I walked outside into the courtyard. There were two kids on a miniature golf cart driving towards me. I stop them and tell them that I have a present for them. They seem excited, but when I pulled the coal out of my pocket, they seemed almost scared of it. They threw the cart in reverse and drove backwards until they hit a tree. I walked over and placed the coal on the dashboard of the cart and walked away. They drove forward for about 30 feet until they hit a bump. The cart rolled over and both of the kids fell out. I wasn't sure if I should go help them, but I saw a man (supposedly their dad) laughing and taking pictures with his phone. I lost lucidity at this point, and soon woke up.
I was sitting on the bleachers of an indoor volleyball court, watching an old girlfriend serve the ball over and over. I was trying to sit next to an asian guy, but not too close. I ended up sliding magically towards him and I would edge away over and over again. There was some awful woman that was thoroughly scolding her child for no good reason and I asked if I could talk with her outside. She followed me out of the room and I basically told her that she wasn't a very nice lady and that she didn't deserve to have children. Everybody in the room came out to watch this and she just stood there. It wasn't very nice of me but she was soooooooo mean. I ran up two flights of stairs to get away from the scene. I noticed that I was in this enormous underground school. I became lucid when I realized that I was moving in slow motion and jumping maybe 10 feet in the air. I took off flying when I got outside. I got high above the school and it looked like my old elementary school. I started to wake up. I woke up into another dream, but I was still fully lucid and aware that I was in a dream. It was almost like a dream intermission or commercial. I was a woman and I was talking to this guy. I told him something that made him really bored so that he would want me to go back to sleep so that I could go back into the dream from before. Back at the elementary school again, I was flying high into the sky, into these dark clouds. I was doing crazy tricks like flips in the air and dives down to the ground. I let the lightning shock me several times just for fun by flying up into the dark clouds. I felt like I was showing off but I don't know who it was for, it was certainly fun though. I woke up into another dream, once again, but I was still fully lucid and aware that I was in a dream. This time I was a guy in his 40's and I had woken up and I was cranky and I wanted to fall back asleep so that I could go back to the other dream. These intermission dreams were unusual because I felt like I had control if I wanted but they also seemed like they had a life of their own and I was watching them while fully knowing that they were just dreams. I would try to softly guide them back to the people falling asleep so that I could get back to the dream that I wanted to be in. Back in the dream, I thought about what I wanted to do. I had the sudden realization that what I was seeing was entirely in my mind. I moved my hands across the front of my vision and the world vanished in the wake of my fingers, leaving behind a trail of blue ripples. I tried to erase the school with my hands and I almost succeeded in it before the image snapped back into place. I wanted to experiment more with this but I woke up into another dream. I was in person with Dreamer and we were talking about her nana. I said something about her eating a lamb shank, which makes absolutely no sense, then the dream ended and I was back in the clouds, flying still. I remembered the bonus task of the month and decided that I could find Santa's sleigh at the north pole pretty easily, so I flew at super speed until I was convinced that I was right above it. I dove down into the clouds and saw that there were stars below the clouds. I looked around me and there were stars in all directions, I was in outer space. I started flying at ridiculous speed but I felt like I wasn't moving anywhere because everything was so far away. I thought that maybe I could let myself fall backwards, down to earth. So I started to fall and I could feel myself accelerating, but I still felt as though I wasn't moving anywhere. I felt as though I was falling at the same speed as the entire universe, so there was no relativistic change in my position. I had the split second thought that maybe I was falling into a black hole and I noticed a twinge of discomfort. I decided to teleport away. I ended up waking up just a little bit at this point and I could feel my body lying in bed. I reminded myself that my body was relaxed and that I didn't need to move and that the next dream would start soon. The dream started in my room. I got out of bed and I could hear Free Fallin by Tom Petty playing in the background. I thought about moving through the wall to get outside, but decided to just use the front door. I floated up on the roof, looking for Santa's sleigh. I only found a little toy santa with a toy sleigh. I reached my index finger into his bag of gifts and found a tiny present. I opened it up and there were two miniature plastic cherries inside. I was QUITE unsatisfied. I saw another toy santa and looked in his bag as well, there was a present with a styrofoam cube inside of it. I started to wake up again. DEILD'd again I started back in the same place. I looked over at another roof and saw a bright, golden, shining light and tons of giant presents that were wrapped in various brilliant colors. I knew that santa would be there and so I floated on over and sure enough, he was. His sleigh was there as well and he was having a conversation with a reindeer. I looked inside his bag of gifts and found a single present inside. I quickly tore off the wrapping paper and opened it up. There was a neon green tie inside. I was so disappointed. I don't mean to be ungrateful santa, but, what a shitty gift! I decided to open another present and I found an even longer version of the same tie that was probably at least 10 feet long. I opened another present and found a blue silk shirt inside. I really don't like clothes as gifts. I opened another present and it had ribbons inside, for putting on top of more presents. Determined to find a good gift, I opened one last present and there was another box inside of it. I opened that box and there were a bunch of ribbons in that box. Damnit. Santa was clearly fucking with me. I had looked at him with a Stare of Death but then I woke up before I could give him a piece of my mind.

WILD at bedtime. Lots of body vibrations (not normal for me) and then transition in NREM. The sensation is similar to diving under water, and all of a sudden the world is quiet. I wait for a bit to see if something will happen. A helicopter appears. We are flying. I imagine that it's snowing, and begin to hear jingle bells in my head. I silence them, though, because this seems like a military dream, and those are out of place. Once the scene sets, it is snowing I am set down on a watch tower. A man on a tower across from me yells, "Let's move it, rookie!" This seems to me like a Call of Duty dream. I tell him to extend the drawbridge to me. He drops a ladder to the ground. "No, John," I say, "the button underneath." He fumbles for a minute, and seems like he is having trouble. I remain calm. Can't remember what happened, but think he extended the bridge, because I remember being very pleased with my dream control I somehow make it across; while I am running over, I try to recall the other tasks besides the snowball. On the other tower, inside a room, there are some dogs lying on a bed--two pit bulls, black and white spotted. I recognize this as my "doubles" dream sign, but of course don't RC because this is already a dream. I go down the ladder, looking for snow. It seems it has all dried up, but I think that if I run around the corner of the building, there will be some left. There is. I run over and pack a snowball. Cold! My feet are cold too, but I remind myself that it's a dream and that it isn't real cold. I start climbing the ladder with the big snowball and wake up.

FA. "Awake" from stress dream with wasps. I am lying in the guest bedroom at my aunt's house. I am disappointed that I did not become lucid. Thinking about getting up, but don't want to. I then hear an all-call: "Wake up call for [dream uses my full name]." Really? I imagine this must be a dream. I nose pinch. Sweet! I am relieve to be lucid after a tough night. I find it difficult to phase through the bedroom door; it finally just falls off of its hinges, and lands flat with me on top of it. I am thinking about the winter tasks. I head out to the kitchen/patio area. Before I get to the main door, I imagine snow. I even hear sleigh bells in my ears. I open the door. Nothing but green grass. I decide if I run up the street I might find some snow. I am heading out the screen door when I am confronted by a little squirrel with big bat ears. He is trying to get into the screened-in area. I remind myself that this is a dream, and then let him in. He latches onto my leg, and begins climbing up me. I'm nervous about him biting and really don't want him on me. He climbs up and nestles between my neck and shoulder. Eh . . . . I keep expecting a bite on the neck but it never comes. I am trying to ignore him and continue my walk down the street when I wake up.
Ritual: I had a vibrating alarm in my hand, but I think it was the cat that woke me, as there was still four minutes left on the alarm when I got up after the end of the dream. The cat is a likely culprit, since he frequently comes and meows at me several times in the morning, even after he's been fed. Whatever it was, luckily I had the presence of mind to remember not to move, and if the cat was meowing, somehow I did a great job of tuning him out. I focused on trying to maintain a state just below the threshhold of full waking that would allow me to DEILD. My DEILD technique developed unintentionally out of my WILDs, since I had always instinctively chained them through inadvertant half-wakings. For this reason it feels natural to try to DEILD by "separating" my sense of the dream body from my physical one rather than incubating visual impressions, since I do WILDs the same way, so I started by trying to move my dream-limbs. I wasn't entirely sure if it was working, as it felt a lot like I was really moving, but it also seemed suspiciously easy and I wasn't getting tangled in the bedcovers. Eventually I was raising my knees alternately until it felt almost like I was marching in place. I had the impression that I was lying on my back while doing this, although it is almost certain that in WL I was actually lying on my side. I hadn't been dreaming right before I half-woke, at least as far as I could recall, so there was no particular scenario to dwell on. Instead I just let imagery form randomly. There was a series of brightly-colored hypnagogic scenes that for some reason were all very cartoon-like. None of them turned into a dream, nor did I expect them to. All my thrashing was with the intent to integrate myself well enough into the dream body that I could "get up" out of bed. (Actually as I was writing this account I did remember a non-lucid dream that must have occurred in the previous sleep period. But I didn't remember it at the time so it did not influence the attempt.) I thought I could be more certain I was really dreaming if I moved in an unnatural way, so I tried some rotations. I was unable to rotate laterally, but eventually managed to rotate around my body's vertical axis until it felt like I was lying on my face. This was especially interesting because the whole time I was convinced I felt the cat standing on me, so the impression of his weight went from being located in my chest to on my back. At this point things seemed sufficiently unnatural that I was confident I was dreaming, so I continued to roll horizontally to the side until I fell right out of the bed. It still felt remarkably lifelike, but my landing was much too soft and painless to be real... in RL I'd likely suffer serious injury if I rolled out of the bed that way, since the bed is quite high and I suspect I'd hit my head on the bedside table on the way down! DEILD: As I scrambled up from the floor, I noted that my mind felt very clear but my senses were vague. I danced a bit as I left the room, since I was still trying to transfer sensation and awareness fully from my sleeping self to my dream body. I still had a shadow of a doubt that I might be confused and actually awake, so I was slightly concerned about the prospect of leaving the house naked. However, I didn't feel like bothering with clothes if I was dreaming, and I figured as soon as I left the house I'd know for sure, because in my dreams the landscape outside is usually different. Sure enough, as I stepped out the sliding door from the kitchen, instead of the concrete pool patio I found myself standing next to a steep hillside heavily overgrown with brush and small trees. I started climbing it and the earth was loose and leafy enough that it was easy to get purchase on it even though the slope was extremely steep; it seemed like a 60 degree incline. I remembered that my goal was to reach a winter forest, and promptly noticed the patches of wet snow on the ground, like those that appear when it has snowed recently but much of it has already melted. I momentarily wonder if I will be cold without clothes on, but remind myself that my dream persona is often a vampire, so the cold shouldn't bother me. I have elaborate tasks stored up: there are a lot of things I plan to do in the forest, like another attempt at my lucid dare and perhaps "Hansel and Gretel" for the TOTY. But the snow reminds me of the TOTM, and I recall that was the reason I had specified a "winter" forest in the first place. I decide that it would be nice to get wings again and that the basic task won't be too hard to accomplish as long as I can find a DC to throw a snowball at. I scoop up some snow and pack it into a ball. The texture feels a little off as the snow comes together, too smooth and almost slick, rather than with the crunch of real snow. (WLR: I realize that the odd texture of my snowball was probably influenced by dolphin's post on the TOTM thread where he says that his snowball ended up being a rice ball! I think the plasticky texture was also influenced by a knickknack I saw the other day in a Paper Source store: it was a little snowman made of some sort of white latex-like material that you could build up into shapes and then it would slowly "melt" again.) Snowball in hand, I need to find some DCs. I look around but there is no one in sight. However I see a couple houses in the distance, off the to left beyond some open ground. I come down from the hill and go that way instead, in the direction of the houses. I figure I can ring the doorbell of one of the houses and lob the snowball at whoever opens the door—a bit rude, perhaps, but it will get the job done! But soon the problem is simplified when I see two DCs walking directly toward me, women dressed in business casual. I feel a bit anxious that something might go wrong before I get close enough to hit them with the snowball. Maybe I should just throw it now? I try to remember how the TOTM was worded: did it specify that the snowball needed to hit? [In retrospect I see that it does.] While I vacillate we are still walking toward one another, and soon it looks like they are in range, so I throw the snowball. It misses, so I quickly make another and try again. It misses as well, so I pack a third one and aim more carefully. This time the snowball strikes the woman walking on the left on the lapel of her teal-colored suit jacket. The women seem nonplussed at first, but instead of protesting they soon start making snowballs of their own to throw at me, so we have an old-fashioned snowball fight. Meanwhile two more DCs, middle-aged men, are approaching from another direction, and quickly get drawn into our game. One of the men seems annoyed initially when he is struck by a snowball, but before long he is participating enthusiastically and exclaiming, "I love this! I love this!" as though rediscovering the pleasures of childhood. The other man is older and well-dressed, with a strong accent that sounds not quite German but something in that neighborhood. He says, "Uh... apologies for staring. A rigorous loser, poor loser." I can make out his words distinctly but I don't know what he's referring to, and at this point I wake up.
I went to take a nap in the afternoon last night and almost immediately started WILD. Seeing as I have gotten over my fear of the first part of WILD, I tried to sit up and separate myself from my body. The first time I tried was too soon and I actually ended up sitting up and waking myself up luckily I didn't mess it up so it started again immediately and I was more patient this time. I ended up on a random street with some people around, and I remembered the task of the month where you have to throw a snowball at someone. There was no snow around, so I tried materializing one in my hand. It took a few tries, but it worked. There was some bald, fat man in a brown coat walking in the direction away from me, so I threw it at his back. He turned around for a second but just kept walking. Kind of disappointing. Weird thing about this LD, was that there were like golden glowing flakes/sparks falling from the sky, but they never reached the ground. I'm not sure what that was all about. I don't really want to disclose the rest of the LD, because I got bored and experimented with sex stuff, which always makes me wake up, I don't even know why I bother.
08.12.2014Throwing snowballs, Gizmo songs and massive six combo of lucid task dares done!!! (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I think I did it again and surpassed my plateau of length of lucid as well as goals accomplished during a single lucid. As I have been saying for the last three days, I had the feeling of a lucid coming, and I did not have a good sleep a few nights ago (getting adjusted to the new house) but yesterday's night I slept well, yet no lucid, which surprised me, and last night, turned lucid. I remember faintly how did I exactly turned lucid and I neither recall what I was dreaming before that. I believe I was in some wax museum and the sculptures were talking. I exited the museum and, fully lucid I took a small flight to make the dream stable. I was very happy that I turned lucid and that finally I broke my dry spell. The quality of the dream was exceptional and I was exited to get finally my wings back and hit some dares while I was at it. I started to walk down the street. The road was made out of little stones, pretty much like on the roman ages. All the buildings were made out of stone as well and there was no lightning, however, it was a warm morning. It looked something like this: I started to think about the tasks of the month. I thought of throwing a snowball at a dream character, however, it was warm. I reminded myself that in a dream, all could happen. I started looking for snow, and after walking for a while (I was no longer flying now) I saw a little bit of snow on the road. It was like when almost all snow is gone an melted, that you can find a flake here and there. I turned the corner and I saw a small plaza, that had a decent amount of snow. Lucky me, there was a lot of people around, so I grabbed some snow from the ground and made a snowball. I approached at a female character (no, she did not fell back with her legs in the air first!, and I would have tossed the ball before anything else...) She was looking at my snowball and hit her on the face. She was shocked for a brief moment and then, she continued walking like if nothing happened. (Talk about dummy DCs hahaha.) This officially completed my basic Task of the Month: Originally Posted by Basic ToTM Hit a DC with a snowball and report their reaction - (kilham) It was time for the advanced task of the month. Despite I am almost as Christmas freak as Elf is, I did not feel like going hunting for Santa and sneak into his sleigh and I neither wanted do to do the snow globe task. Only Gizmo was left, not very excited but a very easy task. I saw a store, it was pretty old on the outside. When I entered the store, it looked like a Winery store I worked when I was 18 but much bigger. I told them I wanted to buy a present where Gizmo was wrapped up in. I was taken to the backroom, which looked exactly like the backroom from the Winery store, but much larger. A female employee handed me a green box with a golden ribbon. I felt it was going to be an awesome present for someone, but I knew that my task did not ended here and realized that it was a dream gift anyway, so I could not actually give it to anyone in waking life. I left the store holding the box, and apparently, no one cared that I just walked by the register without the intents to pay... oh well. There was a bench right next to the store. I could hear a little voice inside the box, like if it was signing. I opened the box and Gizmo was in there, and I believe it was actually the real thing and not a plastic toy. I started to pet it and it felt soft and warm: I told Gizmo to teach me a new song. Unfortunately, I forgot most of it because there is a long way to go still on this massive dream. But I believe it was something like. "One, two, three, gizmo, gizmo, four, five, six, gizmo, gizmo." Then, I think he sang a mantra from Lord Ganesha, at least, the lyrics were familiar to me, but my recall for the actual song is vague... I remember I sang the song back to gizmo and he was happy. I sang it a few more times to keep it in my mind and write it down once I woke up. Advanced ToTM, checked! Originally Posted by Advanced ToTM Find which present Gizmo is wrapped up in, and get him to teach you a new song. - (ThreeCat) I started to explore the new place I was at. Instead of a roman old school city, I was now in Chicago downtown. It was easy to recognize as I was next to Marina City: So much for the Roman city into Chicago!! My mind amazes me sometimes! I focused on hitting some of the easy lucid dares for anyone to get more bonus points. At this stage of the dream, I did not remember I had outstanding personal dares to complete. I first though of an easy task, to summon Nfri. Which I did. I rose my hand, sorcerer style and asked for Nfri to show up. A tall and slim female showed up. I could not tell her hair color because she wore winter clothing (once again, amazing mind dressed the summoned dream character accordly to the weather on December at Chicago, lol.) Her clothing was all pink and she was dressed very sexy. She smiled at me and she was standing, which a sexy look. She looked something like this (but her hair was covered, and the raincoat was a clearer pink. I was happy because I completed one dare already (funny to find upon checking the dares thread that Nfri is a dude.) Originally Posted by Anyone dare Completed Summon Nfri and describe how he looks (Nfri) As this female version of Nfri kept approaching at me, I knew right away what was going on, but my dream quality was high and I did not want to waste time, so I recalled another anyone dare I could get done. I walked by hear and faced her, face to face. She tried to get intimate with me (yes, in the middle of Chicago downtown!) but I refused to interact and just turned her my back and walking away. It was actually easy task, I think my drive to make a big record was strong! Originally Posted by Anyone Dare Completed Face an attractive DC and refuse to have any interaction with her/him. I took my phone out from my pocket, which looked like my waking life phone. I was in front of a cross street and traffic was very heavy, but cars were driving fast. I pointed at one of the roads with my phone and with my thumb, I slide it right to left, with the intents to push all the cars to go in reverse. Amazingly, it worked first try, and even more amazingly, no one crashed. I started to swing my cell phone left and right very fast, with the intent of accelerating the traffic, which happened, but neither no one crashed (I wasn't thinking they would crash neither trying, probably the reason it did not happen.) I tapped my screen to see what would happen, and the whole dream froze, I think even dream went silent. The whole thing was frozen. That was some amazing effects from just a phone! Originally Posted by Anyone Dare Completed Use your phone as a catalyst for dream control. (Sensei) It was exciting, but I suddenly found my dream getting obliterated in seconds. I reached my journal to write down the dream and tried to turn the lamp on that I have in waking life. (the green one) Not working. I tapped it a couple more times. Nothing. I turned lucid right away. I exalted "Lamp not working... hahaha, these lamps always work." My wife woke up and asked me what was wrong, if I was cold or something. I told her that I just got tricked with a false awakening and that I was still dreaming. My wife told me that I was talking nonsense. I checked my hands and indeed I was lucid, they looked like a hologram. I jumped off bed and recalled since I was able to remember the whole lucid dream, I decided to continue my dreaming. My wife followed me, pretty upset stating I was asleep. We exited the house and we were in a modern city surrounded by trees, definitely not the same as waking, proving I was indeed dreaming. Wife kept insisting I wasn't. I rose my hand and pointed at it with my other hand saying, "Do you think my hand is supposed to look like this?" My ring finger was like a quarter inch long. I took of to fly, but for some odd and rare reason, I could only bounce about 10 feet tops or so. My wife kept telling me, "See, you can't fly, you are awake, go back to bed before someone calls the cops." Like if jumping 10 feet was normal. I just walked away ignoring my wife, after all she was a dumb DC reflected by my mind. I saw a UFO saucer gliding above some trees. It was semi-transparent and it was vanishing: I grabbed it before it took off and I thought of the next dare. To fly to the sun. I felt it would be easy to use this vehicle to get there faster, so I set that intent and the saucer to take me there. It was going at high speed and I could feel fire all around me. Now, the saucer looked like a regular shuttle from NASA. I was already in space and realized I was in my pajamas... oh well, big deal. We were getting closer to the sun and I released the shuttle, as in theory, I had to fly through the sun. I kept flying and I entered the sun. I could see my whole being burning, but it did not hurt, I kept flying until I passed through it and I was on the other side of the sun. I could see a whole lot of different planets that were not from our solar system. This is nonsense in waking since all the planets surround the sun, but in the dream, is like all the planets were in front of the sun (what we see) and others (unknown) behind it. I freaked out a bit because I wanted to give priority to those and I forgot, so I remembered one of them, and since I was in space, I started to glide north until the whole space turned white, so I asked to be taking to the Creator of the Dream. I was taking to God, or what I had a impression of god, a huge amount of white light, made of pure love, light and bliss, it was a massive consciousness with a very powerful energy. I asked this energy/God, "What does this dream mean?" The creator replied to me, but funny enough, instead of through normal words, he did it through my clairsentient ability (psychic hearing) and he told me, "You are like Messi, breaking records all the time." I laughed because I never thought of it, but it was true that I was trying to break a record indeed, and Messi, just broke another record in the soccer match I watched yesterday." I flew back to Earth and got very quickly back to it. I entered Earth in a kind of an odd way, shoulder first and I heard a massive noise and saw fire all around me. I was like a fireball and I thought, "This is not going to end well! But I laugher." A few moments later, I was inside a house (what the heck???) There was some dude who was pretty pissed of at me. He wanted me to study and do my homework (I finished school many years ago, lol.) I wanted to get out the house. I did not feel it had good energy. I feel this house was in the middle of nowhere, somewhere around Texas among massive corn wheat fields. I wanted to explore the area. The dude tried his best to prevent me to leave. I saw there was a bar right next to me. The back of this bar was made out of windows and I could see a ton of futuristic buildings (so much for "middle of nowhere") and a huge pool with a lot of people around. There were three stools and three young woman having a drink. These woman appeared to be also pissed at me. I tried another of my personal dares. I rose my hands and started channeling energy, to the intent to make time go faster. At first, nothing happened, but then I realized that these ladies looked like they were on their 50s and they kept aging fast. Some shrunk in size and one of them had her hair turn white. I kept pushing energy and set the intent for hundreds of years to happen. I saw through the windows how all of the people on the pool and walking by were also aging. However, they never died, turned into skeletons (or dust, zombies... nothing) they just went as old as you can imagine and even older than that The building and other inanimate objects did not seem to be affected at all. I was very surprised this worked. Originally Posted by Personal Task Completed Force a city and its inhabitants to age in front of you for some hundred years. I felt it was enough of the aging and released the energy. They progressively went back to their original ages, except for the ladies next to me sitting on the bar, which stopped de-aging at the age of 50s. Suddenly, everybody got on their knees and started to adore me like I was a God. I believed this was another of my personal dares (without knowing it was my dare, and the requires of my dare were different.) I kept thanking people for adoring me and they brought me x-mas gifts (lol) I felt happy and I thought I had all my personal dares done, so I decided to wake myself up, as I seemed to still be with a decent quality dream, but I was risking too much if I continued working on more dares and not getting my butt out of my real bed to write all down.

12/6/14 11:40+ 2:50 early for wbtb but already awake. Wake from OBE style LD 5:10 felt like end of a REM cycle but if so no recall before OBE or dreaming I'm trying to get to sleep. Did my son actually come in the room? Anyway I feel vibrations but nothing happening but remain patient. Eventually decide to nudge vibrations and they get quite heavy...almost uncomfortable but I decide to experiment nudging them harder (eye clench) and I finally feel like I am in my dream body in bed and struggle to get out...nudge vibrations some more and feel ready to roll out and do. I feel a little sluggish like waking in middle of the night so I do glottal - seems to indicate awake. Finger through palm...solid...unreliable. Nose pinch since I am quite sure it is a dream there are no sinus repercussions and I can breathe through the pinch. It always feels so amazing. I start out of bedroom door and it sounds like my son is in the family room watching TV. I float the rest of the way to the front door. There is a chain door latch unlike IWL and I remove it and unlock the deadbolt and as I crack open the door there is a hint of cold air and I find that interesting since temperature is not noticed often. I am only wearing underwear in this dream body. I decide it will be a normal neutral temperature and also wonder if my dream will replicate my son wondering who is opening the door in the middle of the night but I suppress that thought and both work (neutral temperature and no son tugging at my lucidity. I go outside walking again at first. There are fictional neighbors across the street coming home. Night time scene. It is a husband, wife and small boy maybe 5 years old. Young Asian family. They parked in the middle of the street, perhaps only unloading. I float-fly a little slower than desired at first then speed up to get a quick look on my way toward Girl Friday's. Though the woman (the wife) is attractive I decide to continue down the street. I see another lone woman walking towards her front door and I float just above her as she goes in her house and I wonder if the DC will even pay any attention to me but she does looking a little uncomfortable. She has a big vaulted ceiling living room very much like ours and I float up into it enjoying the sensation. A bit of that then I float back down closer to her and whip it out to see her reaction. She acts uncomfortable once again. I decide to leave and as I head towards her door it starts to fade and try to closed eye teleport but I am already back in bed. I resolve to ignore the urge to reposition and attempt DEILD but perhaps a mistake after trying for too long may have been counterproductive and better to roll over and reposition more quickly. I also didn't want to open my eyes to check the time and may place in the REM cycles but later realize it was later after wbtb than I would have guessed. 6am Semi-lucid with two Tonys. Later Tony was the store owner. Got wrapped up in being caught messing around the front of his house which seemed to pull away what little lucidity I may have had. I'm trying to remember the other Tony but I remember thinking during the dream that it was pretty cool that the interaction with one Tony brought up the dream with the other Tony. Also experiment more with eye clench vibrations. More noticeable while semi-awake when ear plugs are in but still degrees of vibrations achieved so must be a sleep/wake level component to the vibrations as previously deduced. Wake from LD#2 7:55 Weird colored schematic of a water fountain very vivid and I am looking at a stable image for quite a while before it starts changing. This is more than a dreamlet. I am stationary and just observing and the image becomes the outside of the water fountain and a hand reaching down to push the button. The image is panning out and I am interested to see who it is but it all fades to black. I decide it is time to get back to using the closed eye teleport. Awareness and memory is great. I start to imagine my favorite starting point that lead to some of my favorite dreams (teleport to ocean) but perhaps I focused on the wrong thing (the ocean instead of the beach that often dumps me in the ocean). I stay with it and it almost feels like I am floating in water but when the visuals come back I am laying mostly face down on my bed but it is transparent and there are a lot of miscellaneous things on the floor underneath the transparent bed including small papers like post its and other junk. I decide to do a swimming motion with my arms and perhaps that will take me to a different place. The image below my bed stays static and not moving with my supposed swims forward. This image is so out of this world and very bright but I know that I am wearing my sleep mask so there is no doubt but this is all an odd dream location. With not enough happening I decided I might as well roll out (of this transparent dream bed) like in my first LD. This time the door is straight ahead from my bed instead of up and to the left. I go out and head down the stairs and notice that the stairs are not like my stairs in waking life as opposed to the first LD. It is more of a traditional all white banister of thick block shaped wood unlike my rounded natural oak banister. As I am heading down the stairs I recalled my thoughts after my first LD that I should have tried to do at least one task of the month. I decide that when I open the door there will be snow all over the grass but as I do it is a bright sunny day with green grass and I see people over to the left and what looks like a small child over to the right across the street sitting on their porch. I decide "well there will be a small clump of snow left that hasn't melted" and I look down around the grass in front of the house I just walked out of and I find some melting snow but very little. I reach down and clump it together and it is barely larger than a golf ball but good enough and I pick up a piece of foam laying on the grass to put underneath the snowball so that the dream has no excuse to melt it. The group to the left is no longer there but the child on the porch is still there and I approach. The child is a small girl maybe only 3 or 4 years old and she is adorable blond girls with shoulder length hair. I threw the snowball very softly at her and it hit her in the face and fell apart. Her only reaction was blinking her eyes a lot because of the snow that got in her eyes. I decided this is just a dream and I should probably give it a proper throw and I clump back together the pieces of snow and throw it properly at her and this time she disappeared with only her small plastic figurines she had been playing with left behind. I decide to take a closer look at the figurines to remember what they were when I wake up and see if there was any significance. There are three; 1 is a standing owl-man (standing more like a man but with the head of an owl) another is a Little Mermaid knock off figurine (didn't look much like Disney's Little Mermaid and more little girl than Disney's) and the third one I forget at the moment. And actually there was a 4th one that became the owl-man but I can't remember what that one was either. The dream starts fading here and I decide to try the closed eye teleport again and it seems like I am staying asleep until my wife moves in bed abruptly and coughs and I can feel that I have fully returned to my bed, to my waking body. 243 & 244
I was paragliding along my street, up and down. At first I was going backwards, but then I realised I had to turn around. I landed and then started flying forward. I was having so much fun that I went too far away and got too close to the end of the street, where there was a very agitated sea and some very strong winds. I understood that was dangerous, so I landed again and started running the other way. Once I was back I realised that was non-sense, so I held my hand up towards the sky and counted seven fingers. I shouted: "boom, lucid!" and I remembered the mantra I repeat in my lucids: "all of my dreams are lucid". Then, I remembered about the two basic lucid tasks I had read on the forum. The first one was to hit a DC with a snowball. I saw a friend of mine, so I decided to start a snow fight with her, despite there wasn't any snow. I looked at my hand and tried to make a snowball appear. She noticed what I was doing, so she dug her hands into the wall of chalk, made a snowball out of it and threw it at me. It behaved as though it was snow, so I gathered as much as I could and threw it back at her, without hitting her. This whole thing repeated a couple of times until I finally hit her. She looked at me like: "really? Was it that hard to aim well?" Then, I went for the second task, giving a DC a lump of coal as a present. I entered my house and saw some family members. Again, I looked at my hand and tried my hardest to make some coal appear, but it didn't. I must've been at a low level of consciousness, because the dream wasn't behaving the way I expected it to. Regardless, I wasn't willing to quit, so I approached my grandma and held out my empty hand to her. She reacted as though I had a gift on my hand, and when she held it, something appeared on her hand. It was cube-shaped and wrapped in paper, so I assumed it was the coal lump. She unwrapped it and it did look like coal, but she opened it as if it was a box and took a necklace out of it. I was taken aback.

I gain more visual detail and after i try change color contrast dream become more "live like" in one part a little overdid it and color and contrast were unnatural. I also try change size of my visual field it work but i dount remember details if field actualy become bigger or if i can only better previve by peripheral vision. I try some fireballs I try summon one beaing (didind work but i try only one time without too strong intention or special method) Go trought some old house from garden and try to get to some civilization. I went down the street to small square and in front of one store i saw some girl and i remember dream task i read before sleep here in forum "Basic Task i - Hit a DC with a snowball and report their reaction - (kilham)" I give it a try , no snow in dream scene so i materialize snow ball directly . Reaction of DC when i hit her with snowball was: What are you doing . From the next part of dream i remember only small pieces. I know that I have tried to materialize another snowballs and try them on other people, also something with telekinesis and teleportation of a snowballs.

December 01, 2014 I was a new resident/member of a co-op that doubled as a comedy theater troup... I was going to be in a skit with two others for the next show, so I was trailing them to get used to the place. It turns out basically the whole troup is involved in some kind of scandalous murder, even though they didn't know it. There was a group of them that was orchestrating it all, using the other members as pawns in their schemes. The two I was with were the only ones who knew about it and tried to stop the baddies. We went to the leader of the troup, who we believed to be unaware of what was going on. We told him about it all, and he was really worried and told us to keep on our toes and watch out for ourselves. Our assignment for chores that day was to clean downstairs, so the two of them and I went downstairs to clean. We ended up near the boiler room, and we heard the voices of the baddies, and scattered. I ended up in the boiler room, alone. It was pitch dark, and hot. Suddenly there was a faint red light from across the room. There were stairs there, and someone was coming down. It was the leader. He came up to a spot in the pipes and there was the REAL leader, hanging in the pipes. He had overgrown facial hair and looked really ragged. The Fake Leader said something like, "There you are, you little fool. You want your food, eh? Here you are. You little fool." He talked to the real leader like an animal in a cage. The real leader was like a savage now. His eyes were like an animal's and he was tearing at the food. The Fake Leader was patting him on the head and grinning. Then I heard screams from upstairs, and left in a panic, but unseen and unheard by the Fake Leader, who stayed with the real leader. When I got upstairs, everything was fine. Turns out, it was because of the skit at dinner. Apparently that's what they did there; there was a skit during dinner every day. The crowd was screaming/laughing at it, but I had only heard the screaming from downstairs. I met my two friends who were alright and already at the table. They had been worried about me but were glad to see I was alright. I told them I had to talk to them later, and went to get some food. All the food was in a bus for some reason. The buffet was set up along the back wall of the bus. I was trying to get specific kinds of lettuce from the bowl of salad, but they kept falling to the floor when I did. I gave up on it and decided to just get some pizza squares and a piece of the cake. Just as I was putting the last bit of food on my plate, the bus started moving. Apparently we were going on a field trip in the mountains. I was trying to make sure my food didn't spill, and apparently I was sitting in the "adult seat," which was undesirable. It was higher up and the table in front of it was too low. Oh well. I set down my food and looked out the window to watch the scenery go by. The bus was on a high bridge over a valley with lots of buffalo in it. I took my spoon and pretended to scoop up the buffalo. Like, every time I scooped them, the buffalo there scattered. It was like I was controlling them from my seat in the bus. Then, I was flying over the heard. In another valley, there was a heard of humans, too. I flew over them as well, along a river gorge. The landscape was green and grassy and at the same time somehow red-dirt desert-y. It's hard to explain. I flew closer to the ground now, and saw a group of people at the top of the next hill. There were lots of children and some people I know, so I landed there and milled amongst the people... I saw a small elephant being tackled by some kids. It was actually a little disturbing, as it reminded me of that picture of the little elephant being attacked by some lionesses. I watched this elephant go by me, and then walked up to the ledge of the river gorge, where there were a line of children sitting down. I looked over the ledge; it was very high up. I saw my mom's high school friend, H, nearby. I called her over, and asked her when the bus would be back, and where it would pick us up. She shrugged. She told me that the bus driver would call her when they got there and tell her where to meet them. She handed me her phone and asked if I wanted to keep it so I would know when and where to go. I shook my head and gave it back to her, wondering if I should just make my way back down to the road and wait there. But I didn't know if the bus would come right up to the cliff to pick us up, so I stayed there for the time being. I walked through some scattered trees to a little plaza with a fountain. I sat on a stone bench that circled the fountain. There was an annoying mascot thing with a huge hunk of cheese trying to get me to take a selfie with it. I turned around to face the rest of the mountain above us (we were about half-way up the mountain here). It was beautiful; the mountain side was all bare except for these tall, skinny, wooden animal figures. They were made with different colors of wood and stood along the mountainside, all looking as if they were walking in the same direction (to my right). There was a vast landscape of them, and something about them was tribal, though I can't pinpoint what it was. I took out my phone to take a picture of it so I would be able to see it forever, but every time I hit the button to take a picture, the view would switch to front-facing and take a selfie. The stupid mascot thing was in all of them, too. It was getting in my way, and I was convinced it was the one making my camera do that. I elbowed it in the stomach to make it go away, and turned back to the mountain above us. But it was different. There were large, almost junglish trees scattered instead of the animal figures. I said, "WHAT GIVES. It's different!" And then I realized, and said, "WAIT. Haha! I'm dreaming!" I looked down at my hands and confirmed that I was dreaming. I grinned. There were so many children around, and I wanted to try the task from last month about telling a kid they were in a dream. It was too late for that one, but I still wanted to try it. I walked up to a kid who was sitting on the crest of the grassy hill, and said, "Hi! My name is Ms. Kestrel. What's your name?" "Nathan..." "Hi Nathan! Where are you from?" "I'm from BC. Where are you from?" "Oh, I'm from around there! I'm from K." "Oh, nice." Nathan smiled. "Actually. Do you wanna know something?" "What?" I said, "You know how sometimes you are dreaming, and you realize you're dreaming, while you dream?" Nathan brightened up and nodded. "Yeah, I've heard of that!" "It's called lucid dreaming. This is my lucid dream right now. That means you're from my subC, actually." I watched for his reaction. At first he was just blank, but then he says, "Maaannn. Oh that's just TERRIBLE." He sounded dejected but also detached, like he didn't actually care. I patted his back and stood up. Now, I wanted to do at least one of the December tasks. The one that came to mind first was to throw a snowball at a DC. I looked around. No snow here... But I was on a mountain, and snow was normal on a mountain. All I had to do was go higher up and I was sure I'd find snow. I jumped up to hover a foot above the ground. Once I was sure of my stability, I flew close to the ground up the mountain until I hit the road above us. I turned to my right, where the road curved over a bridge surrounded by trees. The trees created a sort of tunnel around the road. I hovered through this tunnel and on the other side, I heard a different stream. It sounded cold somehow, and I was happy to see some snow on the railings at the side of the road. I scooped it up with my hand, but it was all powdery, not good for a snowball. It actually felt more like fake snow. I kept taking samples, getting closer to the river, which was mostly frozen over. I kept getting powdery, fake-ish snow. I turned to the trees, and saw a clump of snow gathered in the branches. Powdery snow wouldn't clump like that, so I was hopeful for this patch. I scooped it up, and packed it into a nice snowball. Perfect. Now I turned back up to the road, and turned back to the direction I had come from. I flew back through the tunnel of trees, and then left back to the plaza. There were stone stairs downward. The fountain thing was to my right, and there was a stone tunnel ahead of me, where I saw all the kids leaving. I called out, "HEY KIDS!" And Nathan and a few others turned right as I threw the snowball. They were looking at it like I had thrown an angry, venomous snake at them, not a simple snowball. They shrieked and some of them cried. Until they realized it was a snowball, and it missed them. It landed on the ground between Nathan and another kid, and powdered them all with snow, rolling along the ground with un-dampened velocity as far as I could see, leaving a line of snow where it rolled and showering the kids with snow as it passed. The kids all started laughing and cheering, and said "THAT WAS AMAZING!!" And started playing in the snow. I was pretty satisfied with that, and decided to just fly upwards until I lost the dream (I could already feel it was ending soon). I didn't make it very far before I woke up.

November 29, 2014 I was at the school in which I am student teaching, and we were doing the reading buddies program we have (basically my 1st graders are paired with a 4th or 3rd grader, and they read together). There was this large egg-shaped rabbit thing. It was yellow, and would role around and bounce up and down. I'm going to call it Ralph for now. So Ralph was rolling around the class helping out, and then the kids went to lunch, or a specials class. The room was empty, even the chairs and tables were gone. Ralph was glitching or something; he would jump up and down on a spot on the floor, doing the Mario Ground Pound, and would seem to go through it, at which point the floor directly under him would spin. He would get stuck in a few cycles of this, and then roll away. He would go do something, but every time he rolled over that spot in the floor, he would glitch. I decided I wanted to know what was up with this spot, so I wanted to see what would happen if I went over it. I was aware that something was weird here, but didn't get to lucidity yet. I walked over the spot thinking I would glitch too, but I didn't. So I jumped and used a Ground Pound, and the floor gave way, spinning like it had for Ralph. I was falling down a long shaft. It was lit pretty well, but I don't remember seeing any actual light sources. I landed in a large, rectangular room. Every inch of wall was lined with cupboards, drawers and two fridges (one at the corner behind and to my right, the other midway along the wall to my left). There were two eggs that looked a lot like Ralph. One was smaller than my first, the other was as big as my head. I picked them up and put the smaller one in my pocket, and somehow managing to also fit the larger one in my hoodie pocket. I thought that Ralph would be happy to have younger ones of his own species (I assumed they were eggs for his species). I started looking through the drawers and cupboards, finding nothing much at first. As I made my way around the room, the drawers and cupboards started having things in them. By the time I reached the second fridge, the one in the corner, it had parts of toys in it. Like bags and bags of a single part of the toy, so you could make lots of them by putting the pieces together. There was also some sort of snack food in the fridge. A colleague opened a door at the corner directly behind me, which I had not noticed before. They were calling me because the kids would be back soon. I turned and left the room, and was surprised to find myself in the hallway just a few doors down from the classroom I'd started in. How could I be in the same hallway if I'd fallen down that long shaft? I looked down at my hands and realized I was dreaming. I was aware enough to do a task. I could have gone back to the classroom to tell the kids we were in a dream, but I didn't remember that task... Instead, I went to what I assumed was the door to the outside. I paused before opening it, trying to envision the kind of surroundings I wanted to see. I knew this place was supposed to be the school I teach in, but it was so different that it wasn't too hard for me to envision a new surrounding. One with more trees, and therefor more leaves. I opened the door, and there was a long lane with houses on each side. All the houses had big front yards with big maple trees. Perfect! Some of the trees were bare, some were green, and some were orange, red and yellow. I think my subC didn't really have a grasp of different seasons being at different times. I did notice that the trees that were colorful seemed to clump together, as did the green trees and the bare trees. It was almost like a temporal whatchamahoozit. Like there were different times at the different clumps. Anyways, I walked over to one of the clumps of fall trees, and looked around. There were leaves on the ground, but no piles. I was too lazy to rake them up, so I decided to walk along the lane until I spotted the house of a more conscious leaf-raker. It didn't take long for me to find one. There was this big old yard with a decently large pile of leaves. I stood next to the pile for a moment, and then decided to jump in it the way I do IWL. I stepped back a bit, and hopped through the air right into the center of the pile. At first it was just super normal. I was on my stomach, so I turned so that I was sitting up in the pile. I let myself fall back into the leaves, and then it was like every leaf was a gentle spark. I could feel a lot of little tingles and waves on my back and the backs of my arms, and there was a sensation of sinking. I felt like I was being sucked in, and then I was completely surrounded by leaves. I stayed there for a moment, and then felt air on my back, and pulled myself up face down in a pile of leaves at my Oma's house. Leaf pile = dream portal? I dinked around in my Oma's back yard for a bit but lost the dream pretty quick. I kept trying to remember another task to do, but couldn't before I woke up.

(Originally I was going to be fancy and copy paste leaves so there was a pile in my old dream, but that never happened) I'm in a random blue room, lucid now. I gear up and start the seige on my neighbor's house. The sunset cought my attention. Normal autumn stuff, but it looked nice. Going back to the mission, I go prone on this hill about 80 feet away from the house. Silent sniping ftw! I'm not really all there anymore, and I kind of thought I'd reward myself by burning my eye using the scope and the sunlight. This somehow created a lot of smoke. The swat team came in and shot me a thousand times. I'm only semi-lucid now, and I matrix dodge. Too bad my dream-self has bad balance. I fall over into the treeline, where there were mass collections of leaves. END
