    1. Mafia Rings - Heaven vs Hell (10/5/12)

      Awake|Dreaming|Lucid

Me and some mafia people that are well dressed with ties and tuxedos are currently at our mafia HQ,our hideout, its located at a high place where no man can easily reach, the only way to get there is to climb up lots of stairs and its also the only way out (the stairs are made of blue glass that goes around in circles:
My mafia boss is a strong one, he is famous, he owns a few rings, each ring posses a special power when activated (like in hitman reborn, just without the boxes):
I'm also the right hand man of our mafia boss
Suddenly some guy called Reborn teleports into our hideout, hes short, looks like a baby:
He says "I'm gong to visit heaven to make a deal"
When he comes back from heaven he tells me and my mafioso friends "I got you guys some rings", he hands over some new rings to our boss.
Reborn returns to heaven to make another deal, meanwhile our boss is standing outside the door that looks down at the stairs, I went to check on him and he froze, not ice, it was like something attacked him,a spell perhaps?
My instincts told me to take his rings ( I knew our boss's rings were strong ),I took them and placed them at my right hand fingers.
After that moment I was teleported to heaven's training field, there's alot of people fighting over there.

I thought to myself "Hmmm, lets check what these rings do!" I wanted to check the ring that is called Black Feather I just saw another man use it, he shouted "Black Featherrr!!!" and the ring with a black feather on his hand turned into an axe.
I quickly rushed to one of the enemies as I shouted "Black Feather!" and the ring with the black feather on it turned into a huge mace, the mace wasn't heavy, and it turned into a ring again, then into a mace again, flashed like that and after a few times it turned into a mace and stayed as a mace (all this time I was running to the opponent) as I raised the mace and hit the place the enemy stood, he dodged but it left a huge hole in the ground. I was amazed by its power.
I teleported back into our mafia HQ and I thought to myself "Hmmm, that ring wasn't so bad after all, lets check the other ring that's called PunkBuster".
I shouted "PunkBuster!" and the ring was glowing, and suddenly a punk with black clothing , black hair (Mohawk hairstyle) came out of the ring:

Only it was a boy, no boobs
That gothic punk was a warrior that used Muay Thai as his fighting style.
I knew he was meant to help me in a fight.

I can't remember this part well but I was hiding behind a large rock, I was teleported to heaven.
A huge spiderman attacked heaven and his minions we're killing people, I felt hopeless as I saw my comrade from my mafia, one of my men dies (I saw a huge monster kills him, I saw it through a crack between two large rocks
      The rock looked like this:
I felt like it already happend before in the past, I slowly walked a little left and ignored my man being killed, the blood, I felt so weak
After I walked a little left I saw a zombie eating a little girl in a less than 2 meter from me
(It didn't frighten me at the moment).
Suddenly I traveled back in time:
The first time I traveled back in time : I wait till the zombie finish eating + killing the little girl and I move on to break into the enemy base, but there's heat detectors and camers so I travel once again in time.
      Second time I traveld back:
I join in to protect the little girl, the zombie eats me and I turn into a zombie , I knew the effect of being a zombie is temporary so I didn't mind, I controlled my body and I went into their defenses because the heat sensors didn't feel me since I was dead, I was a zombie, the cameras didn't mind because I was like one of their own. (When I was a zombie I saw myself from 3rd person).
But when I was at the middle of breaking in the enemy HQ I turned into a human again and the sensors detected me.
The third time it happend was exactly like the second time.

I can't really keep up with my DJ, which is sort of a good thing I guess?
I've stopped journaling non-lucids entirely and I'm skipping unimportant details in my lucids.
For example I skip details such as becoming lucid or doing mental stabilization etc.

I'm pretty sure this is the longest dream I've ever had.
It definitely felt "deep", which is how Yuya describes it, which is oddly enough a term WakingNomad uses as well.
It feels very rewarding to have such a dream after spending dream time "training" to achieve this.

Day 1: Barfight - Earth from Space

... It takes longer than usual to locate Yuya's aura.
      Where... what the hell?
      Is that a bar?
I also vaguely feel a demonic presence near her.

I decide not to teleport straight to her, but instead teleport to outside of the bar.
I'm not really sure what's going on and I don't want to cause a scene.

I end up in front of what appears to be a bar from an old western.
It's on top of a cliff with nothing but desert surrounding it.
The demonic presence is more clear now.
There's multiple instances, but they all seem weak.
I decide to mask my own aura after I notice that Yuya is masking hers.
That's probably why I had trouble locating her.

I enter the bar, acting as if I belong here.
I spot Yuya sitting at the bar. She's wearing a brown coat?
Probably trying to look inconspicuous or something. (Or a firefly reference you idiot)
I on the other hand am wearing my typical attire.
But it doesn't matter. If you mask your aura people barely notice you unless you talk to them direcly.
And even then they usually don't notice any oddities and forget you quickly.
This works only on weaker minds of course, who don't fully use their 6th sense.

I sit down next to Yuya and order a beer.
A passively scan the surrounding aura's.
Yep, just as I thought, they're all kind of weak. And they are all of demonic nature?
They are all oddly similar, even though the creatures are of different species.
      Most are humanoid though.
They must belong together in some way.

The beer is mediocre. It's lukewarm. Beh.

      "So... What's going on?"
      "Hm..."
      She grins.
I hear someone drop a glass in the background and it shatters.
Then it happens again in another corner of the room.
Yuya's expression reveals that she's responsible for this.
She's controlling the water molecules in the drinks to throw them off the table.
It will take these people some time to figure out what's going on.
The bartender will probably notice first, he has the strongest aura.
I can already see it in his eyes that he has noticed that something is wrong.
So... Yuya appears to be starting a barfight.
Ha, this is kind of fun.
Since I've started time dilation training we've deliberately gotten ourselves into a lot of trouble.
Fully emerging myself into the dream allows me to stay for really long times.
I've managed to stay many hours a few times in a row now.
The only thing I haven't managed yet is to go to sleep without waking up.

The bartender looks straight into Yuya's eyes.
Even if he doesn't notice her aura, he'll be able to tell by her eyes that she's not a demon and that she doesn't belong here.

      "What? Who are you?"
      "*smile* Trouble!"

The bartender then proceeds to lift up a double barreled shotgun from under the bar and aims it at Yuya's chest.
      I look at Yuya.

      "Have a safe trip."

The shotgun blast propels her off her chair into the back off the room and she crashes into one of the tables.
      A fight breaks loose.
This is starting to become very comical.
Yuya won't need any help. I do kinda want to get involved in the fight though.
      But... priorities!
I still have that shitty beer taste in my mouth.
Fortunately I spot a bottle of whiskey.
The bottle is kind of dirty.
I grab it, clearly annoying the gentlemen whom it belongs to.
I take a few big sips directly from the bottle.

      "HEY!"
      "Wat?"

I unleash a rather colossal burp, and to my surprise I spit quite a bit of fire in the process. Oops.

"Hey Yuya, I think I just figured out where that whole 'dragons spit fire' thing comes from."
      "Congratu fucking lations."

She sounds rather occupied defending herself.
They're attacking her with wooden chairs, how cute.
Guy next to me I stole the whiskey bottle from has obviously figured out that I'm not supposed to be here.
He decides to run away... and there I was hoping to throw him across the room.

My fine bottle of whiskey is shattered by some dude crashing into me.

"Yuya... did you just throw this guy at me?"
      "Oops?"

      I'll better return him.
I pick the guy up and throw him back at Yuya.
It's funny how that works. It feels like throwing a tennis ball.
I have only fought properly strong opponents lately, I completely forgot how ridiculous my power is compared to normal beings.
Well, not normal. They are actually halfway decent demons.
But with mine or Yuya's power it really doesn't make a difference.

I enter the fight and start throwing more people around.
This is kinda fun. I like smashing the furniture into pieces.
Some of them shoot at me with revolvers. This is adorable.
Do they really think they stand a chance?
      Well, they actually might.
My aura is probably so intense and overwhelming for them that they can't feel it at all.

Mid-fight I organize myself a new bottle of whiskey, because I still have some of that atrocious taste in my mouth.
This one is actually pretty good.
Most people start running away after they realize that we're completely out of their league.
Yuya sits down next to me on the only table that is still intact and I share the bottle with her.

"So. I take it 'start a barfight' is off the list then?"
"Haha. I think this makes me a bad person."
"Heh. I wonder what the gods would have thought of this back in the days."
"Oh boy, I would have been in so much trouble."

      Huh? "The gods?"
Yuya used to be the goddess of water... uuuuuh.
There were more gods obviously, but I can't remember.
I wonder if they're still around.

A slightly stronger aura emerges from the distance.
Shortly after what appears to be the town sheriff enters the room pointing a rifle at us.

      "Yeah, good luck with that."
      "Haha."

That poor guy. He actually catches a glimpse of our true strength.
He must be terrified. I feel kinda bad now.

      "Dude, don't worry, we'll leave."
      "Okay..."
      "Yeah... we really should go..."

We get up and Yuya tosses a coin at the sheriff.
I draw my phoenix wings to teleport us out but I'm not really sure where to go.
      Oh! I have an idea!
      I grab Yuya's hand.

      "I'll show you something interesting."
      "Oh?"

I want to show her Earth from the ISS.
It actually takes me a few seconds to find it within all the crap that is in orbit around our planet.
And something is off, I can't locate any auras within it.
The port feels different. It feels like the first port I make when I become lucid, not like the kind of port I make to change locations later.
Am I bringing us back into my private dreams?

The first thing I notice when we emerge is that it is rather unpleasant being in space.
My body instinctively reinforces a layer of energy around itself to protect me from the cold, vacuum and radiation.
We float a few meters and sit on the ISS.

This is exactly what I wanted to show Yuya.
Earth is such a beautiful planet. And only a handful of astronauts get to see it at a time.

      "Wow!"

It's difficult to surprise Yuya like this.
She's seen so many wonderful things in her life.
But it seems I have found one that is worthy to be added to that list.

      "She's such a beauty."
"Yeah... I wonder if I'll ever get to see her like this in my life."
"But... surely you will? You have had the technology to go to space for many years?"
      "Exactly!"
"Oh... I don't really understand why this isn't moving forward."
"*sigh* There's not enough funding because the people in power don't care about it?"
"How can you not care about it? It's fucking space!"
"Yeah it's really sad. They argue that we should first solve our problems down on earth instead of bringing them with us to space."
"That is the most idiotic argument I have ever heard."
"Yep. And many people hear that and agree with it because they don't know any better."
"They don't see how much good has come from space exploration."
"It's the only thing that has managed to unite us as a species, which is kind of sad actually."

Well shit, I wanted to show Yuya something really cool and beautiful, and now I find myself rambling about the state of our space program.

"But there's hope! Private companies are getting involved who want to get commercial programs started."
      "Ah!"
"So... I'm still confused about this."
      "Huh?"
"Are we in your world or in my dream space right now?"
"... How can you not know this?"
      "I don't know..."
"We're in your dream space or bubble or whatever you want to call it of course."
"Right. Because the ISS doesn't exist in your world."
      "Right."
      "But Earth does?"
"Yes, but it's another Earth. It's another dimension entirely."
      "And the Moon"
      "Yeah."
      "The green Moon"
"Ha. Wasn't that one of you dreamers who did that?"
      "WakingNomad"
"Heh. He sounds like an interesting fellow."

I spot someone in the Cupola module gazing at Earth as well.

If this were the real world and she saw 2 guys sitting in outer space she'd probably have a heart attack.
I start to feel tired. Took me a long time to get lucid, then we had a barfight and now I'm resisting the dangers of outer space.

"Yeah, we should go to bed, I haven't slept in 22 hours."
"Does Teraluna have a 24 hour cycle as well?"
      "No, it's about 28 hours."

I summon my phoenix wings and target Teraluna.

"Can you really not feel it?"
      "Hmm?"
"The difference between the universes, or planes or whatever. Like, when you target Teraluna, can you not feel how it isn't a location created by your own mind?"
"Uh. I guess... I always assumed that anything I target with the wings must be in your world."
"Huh, that's really weird. You dreamers really seem to have a hard time perceiving these kind of things."

      We teleport to Teraluna.
It's nighttime. We both walk under one of the many small waterfalls within Yuya's place before getting to bed.
This is how you shower on Teraluna. There is something cleansing about these things.
It's much more practical than using soap, and you can also dry yourself up with some quick magic tricks.
I simply boil the remaining water on my skin away.
We need this stuff in waking life. And also magic.
      Everything is better with magic.

      We get into bed.
I love this ridiculously large bed.
It got these satin-like bed sheets that are kind of cold and feel super refreshing.
      They also smell really nice.
And the mattress is sooo soft.
I quickly feel rather dizzy and my vision becomes all fuzzy.
I don't have time to think about the issues I've been having with sleeping dreams, which might be a good thing though.
I fall asleep. I clearly feel my dream body turning off.
My eyes close automatically, but my vision remains very active.
I see colorful plasma clouds and a lot of pink noise.

I feel cold wind on my skin as images are coming into existence.
They're memory flashes mixed with some really odd things I do not know.
The word "Ravenclaw" pops into my head.
Then I see tribal dragons and ravens flying around...

      Day 2: Exploring Childhood Dreams

... Mmmh. I want to sleep some more.
I nest myself deeper into the bedsheets without any intention of getting up.

"Uuuh, we should really get up."
      "I don't wanna."
      "Dude."

She starts poking me relentlessly until I get our of bed.
Everything is a bit of a blur.

We have breakfast when it finally strikes me.
I finally managed to sleep in a dream!
      Holy shit!
      And it feels quite odd.
The "omgthisisamazing imsuperexcited" train of thought is certainly there but I don't feel it?
That tension in your body you feel when you get extremely excited which can cause you to wake up?
It's not there. It doesn't make it feel any less of an achievement, but I perceive it as rather odd that the sensation is missing.
This is a good thing though I suppose.

Yuya's expression changes to a rather intriguing smile.

"Hyu... do you think you are ready for me to show you something about your past?"

      She's excited.

"Yes. Of course! What do you want to show me?"

Part of me hopes that it might be about how we've met, but I know that's not going to happen anytime soon.

"I need you to close your eyes."

Sure. I just slept without waking up like a boss, shouldn't be a problem to close my eyes.
... sleeping without waking up. One of those things that only makes sense in a dream.
I hear Yuya approaching and she sits down on my lap.
She seems to look into my closed eyes.
I can feel her thoughts entering my head.
They feel so different from my own.

I can see a scene materializing. Just like when you WILD. I get incoherent flashes first, and then everything stabilizes.

      "Open your eyes."

I open them and see both her and the scene from my imagination.
She's drawn into my eyes and after a moment of heavy confusion we find ourselves in this new place.
I look around. It appears that we're on some sort of rather huge space station.

We're standing on the outer hull. There's gravity and an atmosphere, and temperatures appear to be normal.
There must be some kind of forcefield surrounding the station that prevents the atmosphere from escaping.

And then I suddenly get chills.
      Holy shit!
      I know this place!

      "This is..."
      "Oh my god... this is..."
"Fuck, I can't remember the name... it's... there's the motorcycle races and colony and mining and..."

Ugh, too much information at once.

"Take it easy. You have all the time you need."
"This is from my dreams. These were like my first consistent lucid dreams."
"Except I didn't know what lucid dreams were..."
"Wow, I must have been like... not even in my teens yet."

My memories are vague, but I start to recall the global setting.
This is a slave colony built around a big asteroid.
The slaves are forced to harvest it, which is a rather difficult task.
There were these bunk rooms were you live with 20ish other people.
Then every day you get up, go mine.
If you find valuable minerals you can trade them for food.
I was one of these slaves.
During some event I escaped the system and was able to enter the automated regions of the station,
      where there are no cameras.
I Mcgyvered myself a small sleeping compartment in between some plasma conduits.
Nobody dares to get close to them, so I was safe there.
I got my water from the automated water recycling system and traded it and some things I've built for food with people in similar situations than myself.

And then there were the motorcycle races.
Holy shit those were amazing... and scary... and... batshit insane!
There were different racing classes, much like in a video game.
Starts out at D, then goes up to C, B, A and finally S.

D is comparable to superbikes in waking life.
Then with C class you get electric downforce systems.
They produce downforce without creating drag. Something with artificial gravity or magnets, I can't remember.
But you get the idea. You have ludicrous grip with these modules, so you're able to put down
a lot more power, break much harder and later, and corner at multiple g's.

The races were held on the outer hull of the station. The outside got pressurizes for maintenance on a regular basis,
just like it is now, so you can walk around and race motorcycle outside.
The higher classes had actual race tracks that surrounded the whole station, and they were insanely dangerous.
The station owners obviously knew about this and about all of the slaves that had escaped to the automated regions, but they didn't care.
They probably made a ton of money with the races, so why would they?

Races were properly dangerous as I already mentioned.
Not only do the motorcycles go way too fast, but all of them are tinkered together.
When you win races you get money, which is useless except for buying new parts.
They make you faster, you get into higher classes, win more money etc.
You're pushing most of the components way past their limit once you get into the higher classes.
It's perfectly normal for one or two bikes to blow up during a race and people dying because their brakes failed or they cornered a split second too late.

You can get to A class on the parts you can buy, but winning A races or getting into S requires you to build your own custom stuff.
I had a few useful contacts that could forge things for me if I gave them blueprints, but obviously you can't test anything.
You have an idea, you build it, install it and hope you'll somehow survive the next race.

"This was pretty sick. And by that I don't mean awesome... well, maybe a little."
"But... this was a bit messed up though. How did I come up with that?"

"Eh, video games might have played a role."
      "Maybe..."

We walk around and I remember most locations.
The world is frozen though. It's like walking through a memory snapshot.
I can move things, but nothing will act on its own and all characters are frozen in time.
Most of them have blurry faces, which I assume is because I don't remember how they looked.

I find a small hangar which I shared with another racer. Both of our bikes should be in there.
I open the hangar using a hidden button on the outside.
And sure enough, both bikes are there.
The other racer is also there, and I can actually see his face.
He played a major role in those dreams. He was also the one who got me my first bike.

(Imagine this, except longer, twice as fat, and an engine that barely fits)

I sit on my old bike and turn on the systems.
Ecu, ignition, fuel 1, fuel 2...
Xgc? No idea what that was but better turn it on.
Throttle to 2% and a strong kick to the starter.

I nearly shit my pants as the engine comes to life.
I remembered it as pretty brutal, but mother of god...
I immediately let go of the throttle.
The revs drop to about ~4,5k where the engine begins to idle very roughly.
It idles at 4500rpm? holy shit!
Further inspection reveals that the rev indicator goes all the way up to 20k.
Redline starts at 14.000 but I remember reving it to over 17.000 on a regular basis.
The cooling systems can take it just barely.

I rev the engine gently and it immediately shoots up high into the rev range.
These things don't really have flywheels. The clutch is pretty much an on/off switch.
You use it once to get going and from there on you shift sequentially.
Investigating the engine, the exhaust manifolds indicate a V10 engine.
But then I spot another set coming from below. An X20?
The exhaust manifolds feed into two massive turbochargers that finally lead to 4 straight exhausts.
Even though the engine is idling, the pipes are glowing all the way back.
The bike is huge, but the engine barely fits.

I wonder how much power this has.
I remember getting it up past 700km/h on a straight runway, and just over 900 on a few suicidal runways that had
track parts that pointed straight down for a few kilometers.
At these speeds, even if you hide your face behind the tiny windshield, you simply cannot breathe.
You just hold it in until the next corner, and hope you don't black out during breaking.
I turn the engine off... now is not the time to race it. I'll definitely come back though.

I investigate the rest of the station with Yuya and try to remember things.
We talk about the only guy I can remember mostly.
I explain to Yuya what he did, how he got me my first bike and taught me how to upgrade it etc.
During that I realize that he was a dream guide.
I ask Yuya if he's Faye without thinking, which she laughs at.
      Obviously he wasn't.

"So, what was the reason for racing? I mean sure, it's exciting, but also quite suicidal."
"Yeah... there was a rumor that when you win the S cup you can buy your freedom."
"They'll give you your identity back and get you to the next tradehub with some money."
      "Ah. That makes sense."
"Yeah... it was a scam though. Only people with superhuman capabilities could get into S class and actually win."
"Obviously such a person would win nearly all races once he becomes skilled enough."
"That is a problem for the station owners because if the same person wins every time it becomes boring and they make less money."
"So once every S cup, they sell 'freedom' to the best guy. It's a good excuse for making someone disappear really."
"It gives all the racers a reason to race and keeps the crowd entertained. In the end they just kill you though."

But she already knew that, she asked to help me remember.
Fuck, this whole setting was dark.
Young me had some messed up dreams.

After spending half a day exploring old dreams we get back to Teraluna, where we proceed to drink and smoke what resembles weed.
It tastes different though, but it does a rather good job at getting you high.

We go to bed where I snuggle with Yuya.
Before falling asleep I make a rather overwhelming discovery.
      Except it's... well it's not.

I'm holding Yuya in my arms as we fall asleep and I can feel her chest expanding as she breathes.
I can even feel her heartbeat.
Now, this is obviously perfectly normal, but for some reason I cannot help thinking:
"She is real!" as if this was some kind of proof of her existence.
This makes me think of waking life for the first time in many hours.
I question the reasoning I make in waking life but know that there's nothing I can do about it.
      I think differently here.

I fall asleep and get pretty interesting visuals.
It's mostly very vividly colored plasma clouds and some geometric shapes.
It looks really interesting and makes me feel blissful.

      Day 3: Yuya

I can't remember waking up, but I'm still on Teraluna.
It's afternoon and I'm coloring Yuya's back with some kind of dragon like tribal patterns.

There's a dance this evening which is why I'm doing this.
I have to be careful not to color over the tiny things living in her back, and on all the other citizens of Teraluna.
They grow up there using the body heat and Teralunas atmosphere.
If you leave they hide in a deeper layer of your skin.
When they have matured they fly away and new ones settle in in their place.
They're pretty cool because they glow in the dark.

I'm not really drawing these things myself. I just let dragonic energy slowly flow into some sort of pen and everything else just happens.
My hand moves on its own. I couldn't draw like that.
      Then it suddenly strikes me.
      Yuya is naked.
Well... yeah. Obviously duh. How else could I paint her entire back?

I gently kiss her on her neck.
      ...
      What am I doing?
I wouldn't have dared to do that not too long ago.
I used to feel so shy around her, but that's gone completely.
She enjoys it, so I kiss her again, which starts a series of events leading to her bedroom.
It's very different from a recent dream with the hibiscus girl.
It probably helps that I didn't turn into a fucking animal, which still weirds me out thinking back.
I'm more like myself. The whole experience is very blissful, but even more powerful in emotions.
It's very difficult to explain. Everything is just right. I'm at peace...

We're at the party were we dance to music that bears a strong resemblance to vocal trance.
Liv is there as well, and it takes us half an eternity to motivate her to join us on the dance floor.
My vision becomes messed up because the scene is very dark, but lights are flashing everywhere.

I also start seeing the music at some point. Deep tones warp the entire field of vision whereas
high tones influence the colors I'm seeing.
At some point I loose it and wake up.

I'm properly confused for one or two seconds, thinking I woke up in a wrong bed and that I must have a false awakening.
Logic kicks in quickly though and everything is perfectly clear.
I close my eyes again and go through the dream backwards, trying to remember every detail.
Then I get up and immediately write the whole thing down rather than taking dream notes.

    3. Board game

      by , 05-17-2012 at 07:48 AM
      First

I'm playing a board game with my wife and X. There are pieces of the game board in a miniature scenery, and we all have small soldiers standing on the pieces. They can attack each other and try to conquer the pieces. X has the upper hand and we are plotting her defeat. As we try to see her side we get smaller, until we are walking on a road, on a scouting trip to see the size of her army.

      Second

I'm at a crossing, on foot, waiting for to turn green. I'm actually a bit away from the crossing point, which is badly situated in my opinion. Some people look at me when the light turns and I cross the road at the wrong place. A couple of them are actually crossing at the place, but are still looking at me like I'm doing something wrong.

There is a subway stop, that's where I'm getting to, and next to it there are two tourists, apparently lost. They are standing in about half a meter of snow, and they are naked. I think they must be cold. They ask me if that is the subway station and I say yes. They go inside.

I go there too, and there are stairs leading up. I see a door and jump of the railing to get to it. It's the wrong one, and I climb a bit further and get to the right door.

      Ninja Body Guard

This dream started off with me standing on the top of a mountain cliff with a girl. I think she said her name was Eriko. The dream was anime style and I looked like Naruto. I think I watched so much of it the day before that I started dreaming about it. I was on a mission to escort this girl to another village and protect her. I was walking near the edge of the cliff and I look down to see a bunch of people at the bottom. They were Leaf Ninjas carrying one of those things that kings travel in because they're too lazy to walk. They were carrying it towards the mountain we were on.

Something didn't feel right about them so I tried to keep Eriko out of their sight. She wasn't happy with that though. She actually wanted to meet all of the other ninjas. She ran pass me and jumped down the cliff. She landed on a rock half way down and then jumped off again. I panicked at first because I thought that would kill her. I started thinking about how someone could jump off a cliff like that and not die.
I became lucid after realizing the only explanation is that I am dreaming.

I jumped down the cliff and chased after her because I didn't feel it was safe. "Hi!" she greeted them. "Are you ninjas too?" she asked. One of the ninjas pulled out a katana and ran towards her. I landed right behind her, picked her up, and jumped back before they could hurt her. She held onto me tight and was really frightened. The other ninja then pulled out their kunai knives and started throwing them at us. I used super speed and jumped back towards the side of the cliff. I started running up the side of it while holding onto Eriko and dodging knives. At the top of the cliff there were a lot of large rocks and boulders lying around. I hid Eriko behind a boulder and said, "Stay here and hide."

I walked back into the open and prepared to fight. All of the Leaf Ninja and the Third Hokage appeared at the top of the cliff. The Hokage decided to sit down and watch while the rest of the ninja ran at me. I can't remember many details from this battle. I was moving at a really fast speed during the fight. For the most part I was punching, kicking, and using other martial arts techniques. I also remember there were many kunai knives and shuriken flying through the air. I had to block those with my own kunai during the fight. I was doing pretty well in the battle, considering I only got a little scraped up.

After a few minutes of fighting, everyone stopped for a moment. The other ninja looked towards the Hokage, who was now standing on the opposite side of us, away from the cliff. He started laughing and powerful orange energy started flowing out of him. It was very similar to the nine-tailed fox's chakra. He looked like he was losing control, so me and Leaf Ninjas decided to work together to stop him.

I made a plus sign with my hands and created four clones. The five of us surrounded the Hokage and tried to attack him all at once. He released a powerful burst of energy and knocked us all away. The clones were killed and I was launched into the boulder that Eriko was hiding behind. After I crashed into the boulder, I fell to the ground, and I started to cough some blood. That hurt a lot. Eriko rushed out from behind the boulder to see if I was okay. I decided that it didn't hurt too badly and got back up. "Don't worry, I'm fine. Just stay hidden." I said to her.

I made a plus sign with my hand again and created a clone. I was trying to create a rasengan. Working together, me and the clone created a spinning ball of energy in my hand. When the rasengan was complete, the clone disappeared, and I ran straight towards the Hokage. He tried taking a few swipes at me with his orange aura, but I managed to dodge and flip around them. When I got close to the hokage, he moved all of his energy in front of him to shield himself. I struck the shield with the rasengan. I was slowly starting to break through his shield and energy was being blasted in all directions. I then gave the rasengan all the energy I had to power it up. I blasted straight through the shield struck the Hokage with it. There was a huge flash of light and I woke up.

      A Giant Snake Problem

This dream started off with me being in my old home in Loudonville. Oddly, everything was scaled like 3 times bigger than it was in real life. Just like the last dream, I was Naruto again. I was standing in the living room with Sasuke. The two of us were just watching something on TV at first. Then I could sense something strange behind us. I turned around and there was a giant rattle snake slithering around the other side of the room. I tapped Sasuke's shoulder and pointed pointed at the giant snake. He then pulled out his sword and went into a fighting stance. It was around this point I became lucid.

We both ran forward at the snake and it hissed at us. Sasuke tried swiping at it with his sword. The snake grabbed it though and threw him across the room. The snake then turned towards me and was about to attack. I performed the hand signs for the fireball jutsu and then breathed out a large flame in front of me. This damaged the snake a little and kept it at a distance for a moment. While I was breathing fire on it, I noticed that it was putting a lot of extra effort into keeping its tail safe. I realized that the end of its tail must have been a weak spot.

"Sasuke! Try to cut off the tail!" I yelled to him. I then lunged at the snake, so I could give Sasuke some time to strike. I grabbed onto the snakes head and started punching at it. This was the best distraction I could think of. Sasuke did the hand signs for his chidori jutsu. He charged lightning chakra into his hand and dashed towards the snake. He swiped his hand over the tail and cut it off. The snake collapsed to the floor and died almost instantly.

I somehow lost lucidity after that. I spent the rest of my dream chasing a small white mouse. That's all I can really remember now.

    5. Battle With Steggies; A Different Perspective (March 16, 2012)

by , 05-11-2012 at 01:55 PM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      DreamLucidAwake

      Battle With Steggies

It seems this dream started out inside a city. It wasn't like a modern city though, it was more ancient. It was most likely built like a medieval city. I was walking down a stone path in the middle of the city with my dream guide, the old man. Oddly, the streets were empty. He said something about the city being under attack and was guiding me towards the city walls. When we reached the walls, we climbed a set of stairs to the top to get a good view. Over the wall I could see a vast desert and some mountains off in the distance. Not far away from the wall I saw Chris, Claire, and a bunch of monsters surrounding a hole in the ground. Chris and Claire were in an intense battle with the monsters.

After seeing 3 dream guides, monsters, and a battle happening, I started to think for a second.
I quickly became lucid and everything started making sense. "Ha, I hardly had to say anything this time," the old man said. I believe this was a reference to his ways of helping me reach lucidity. When I looked back at the battle, I started to worry a little about Chris and Claire. "I should go help them," I said, preparing to jump over the wall. "Stay here," he said, "We have everything under control. There's no need to put yourself in danger."

I stepped back and watched for a few seconds. It was starting to look like we were losing. I also didn't feel comfortable about not helping them out. Despite what the old man said, I ran forward and jumped over the wall. I morphed into a white dragon and started to fly towards them. "Dragonborn!" the old man shouted, "Come back! It's not safe!" I didn't care about what he said or how dangerous it was. I just wanted to help them.

When I flew over the hole where the battle was taking place, I got a better look at the monsters. They were small little dinosaurs with golden spikes. Kind of like a mini stegosaurus, but carnivorous. I'll just call them steggies for now. I dove down and breathed fire on a group of steggies that were surrounding Chris. I landed outside of the hole, next to Chris, and felt a sharp pain in my feet. I started hopping around in pain and looked down at the ground to see what would have caused it. Those steggies had scattered tiny golden thorns all over the ground. It was really annoying at first, but I learned to deal with it.

Chris jumped back a distance away from the steggies and summoned his bow. He then proceeded to snipe steggies that were surrounding me and Claire. Claire was fighting them off with her sword and lots of lightning. I was mostly just breathing fire and smacking steggies around with my tail. It was hard to fight them because of their sharp teeth and protective spikes. With each one we killed, more would just crawl out of the hole in the ground.

I switched to using ice magic to see if that would work better. Using my ice breath, I was able to freeze large groups of steggies that Claire could easily break apart. It still wasn't enough though and more and more of them just kept coming out of the hole. Eventually the steggies cornered the three of us together and surrounded it us. "Get down!" I yelled to Chris and Claire. I activated fury mode for a few seconds and used the energy to fuel my lightning magic As soon as they ducked down I released a huge wave of lightning in all directions. The spikes on the steggies acted like lightning rods and zapped the hell out of all of them. We killed them all, but I lost my dragon transformation out of it.

Now that there were no more steggies on the surface, I decided we should try to find the source. The three of us jumped down the hole together and landed in an underground cavern. I could then sense the energies of the steggies and could feel them in the walls. They then started crawling out of the cave walls and we started running. At this point there really wasn't a plan anymore and we just wanted to get away. I could see a light up ahead and knew we were almost out of the tunnel. Near the end of the tunnel though was a trap. It was a spiked wall slowly descending from the roof of the tunnel.

I slowed down a little bit to try to stop the steggies while Chris and Claire ran ahead. I shot a few flames down the tunnel and then started running again. By the time I reached the trap it was low enough that I would have to slide under it. I dove towards the ground and slid a few feet, but it only got me about half way through. I quickly started crawling towards the other end as the spikes got closer. When I was far enough, Claire grabbed my hands and pulled me out before it could impale me.

When I exited the tunnel I was standing in a field. I also completely forgot about Chris, Claire, and the steggies for some reason. There was a house in the field, so I walked over to check it out. There were many family members inside the house and they were having some sort of reunion. I got into an argument with my mother about something but I can't remember. After the argument I saw some people grab some wands off a shelf and walk outside. I looked out the window and saw them tossing a ball back and forth with wands. It looked fun and got my attention, so I grabbed a wand off the shelf and went outside.

I followed them out to the field where they had 4 bases and a pitching mound set up. For some reason I didn't feel like they would want me to play, so I sort of just casually walked into the outfield. I was trying t look like I was already part of the game. The game started shortly after and everyone moved into position. The pitcher levitated a baseball off the ground with his wand. He then flung the ball towards the batter. The batter swung his wand and knocked the ball back with a magic blast.

The ball was flying fast towards me and I started running back to try to catch it. I stuck my wand in the air and tried to catch it with a telekinesis spell. I managed to pull the ball towards me, but I accidentally dropped it. I levitated the ball off the ground with my wand again and tried launching it back towards second base. I somehow threw the ball at the wrong angle though and it flew towards third base instead. The ball hit the catcher at third base in the head and knocked him out. "Sorry! New guy with a new wand!" I yelled back at them. They decided to cancel the game right after that and help the guy out. I decided to walk away and pretend nothing had ever happened.

I also decided that I should get some more practice with the levitation spell. I saw a small chest lying in the field and used that for practice. I swished my wand and flicked it while saying, "Wingardium Leviosa!" It slowly levitated a few feet above the ground and was a little shaky. I tried to lift it to face level, but it fell back towards the ground. I got a little frustrated that it failed and started to think about what I could do better. I then remembered how the Lumos didn't work, but my own Illumina spell did. I flicked my wand towards the box and shouted, "Levitate!" this time. It wasn't a fancy word, but it worked. I had much more control over it this time and could easily lift it up and down over my head.

Out of nowhere I remembered Chris and Claire again. I realized that they might still need my help. I looked around the field and tried to find another entrance to the tunnels that we were in before. I found a small hill with a hole in it and I knew that was the cave i was looking for. I ran into the tunnel and looked and looked around for Chris and Claire. I ran into a few more of those spike traps from before, but I just rolled under them. I ahead I could see a large room where a bunch of men in robes were gathering around in a circle. I could also see Claire passed out on the ground. I started running faster and there was just one more spike trap to get past. When I tried rolling under this trap though, something grabbed my foot and tripped me.

I looked down and saw a red rug under me that had wrapped around my foot. I tried to untangle it, but the rug came to life and started to attack me. It wrapped itself around me and started choking me. To make it worse, the spikes were still getting closer to me. I remembered the spell I had just been practicing earlier and tried to apply it to the rug. I shouted, "Levitate!" as I tried to wriggle my hand around. I then unwrapped the rug around me with the spell and and flung it up into the spikes. I tried crawling out from under the spikes, but there wasn't enough time. Right when I felt the spikes touch my back, someone grabbed my hands. I was quickly pulled out from under there and saved. It scratched the hell out of my back a little, but I was alive. The person who had saved me was Claire again. The dream pretty much faded away at this point.

      A Different Perspective

I think this dream might have been a DEILD. Mostly because it was very similar to the last dream and I was lucid right from the very start. In this dream I wasn't really myself, but I was Claire. I was running through the tunnels again. This time I was trying to be a little more stealthy at first. I was still spotted though and these guys in blue robes started attacking me. There were maybe 15 of them. I used super strength to kick and punch them hard into the walls. It wasn't anything fancy and I just kept super punching and super kicking them. Sometimes I would use super speed to teleport to their positions and hit them hard.

After I fought off all of these guys I came into a large room. It looked just like the one I saw at the end of the last dream. It was empty though. Suddenly, a bunch of doors appeared in the walls and men wearing red robes walked out of them. They surrounded me and a black robed figure appeared in front of me out of nowhere. It appeared to be a bunch of Draflams and a shadow man working together. I grabbed my sword from behind my back and lunged towards the shadow man. Before I could even attack, they had combined their powers and electrocuted me with one powerful lightning bolt. I fell to the ground and passed out for a moment.

When I regained consciousness, my vision was blurry. As I focused a little harder, I could see the robed men gathering in a circle. They were trying to perform a ritual and it definitely didn't look good. Some sort of weird dimensional portal appeared above them. I think they were trying to summon something. I tried to move my body around a little bit and get back up. Once I was off the ground, I felt a little better and my vision became a clearer. I knew I had to do something to stop their ritual.

I jumped between the group of robed men and charged up my lightning magic. Before they could even react, I launched a very powerful blast of blue lightning in all directions. Anything in that room the room that wasn't me was toast. It was the most powerful lightning blast I have ever produced. To be fair though, It was actually Claire's lightning blast and not mine.

At this point I could feel that the dream was about to end. I didn't really mind it so much because I thought the story had ended. I then started to hear some noises coming from another tunnel. I held on to the dream a little longer to check it out. When I looked in the tunnel I could see me fighting with the magic rug. I saw me kill the rug and me trying to crawl out from the under the trap. I ran forward and tried to help myself out. I grabbed my hands and pulled myself out from under the spike traps. The dream ended just like the last dream, but through Claire's perspective. That's a very strange thing to think about.

    6. Time dilation - Fighting Yuya - Closing my eyes

      by
      Hyu
      , 05-07-2012 at 02:42 AM (Hyu's Adventures)
This one is kind of old and happened right after my last entry.
I haven't really found the time to write it down until now.
My dreams are also getting kind of long, which is amazing, but also kind of a pain to write down.

      The time is ticking.
I have no choice but to diffuse the bomb, there is no way we'll get out of the explosion radius in time.
I quickly grab an electric screwdriver from my back pocket and start removing the digital clock mounted on top of the bomb.
There is less than one minute left on the timer.

      "Hurry up!"
      "Shut it!"

Removing the clock reveals a highly complex maze of cabling.
      Screw this!
I remove the electronics as well, in the hopes of finding a simpler set of cabling leading to the warhead.
Fortunately I am right. The whole electronics are wired to the warhead by only two thick cables.
      I can do this!
But my short burst of confidence is quickly shattered by a rather troublesome discovery.
      The warhead is nuclear.
How the fuck did this happen? How did anyone manage to acquire a nuclear fucking bomb?

A quick look at the dismantled clock reveals that I have 7 seconds left.
I decide to cut one of the cables at random.

"I know this setup! Cut the red one!"

I move my knife to the red cable, but it shifts colors with the other yellow one.
Whenever I switch, the cable colors switch as well. It's impossible to cut the red one. WTF!

Seeing the last few seconds run out, I notice that I'm not really scared to die.
      I wonder why that is.

      Oh...

      Yeah...
I start rubbing my hands but am interrupted by the bomb hitting zero and audibly powering up.
Well... this is not good. I might wake up because of that.
I think about quickly portaling the bomb away before it goes off, but then I notice that it is plugged into the wall with an extension cord.
      Really?
I unplug it and the warhead turns off.
      Lol.

I resume rubbing my hands but I am yet again interrupted, this time by the DC that was with me.
I unsummon him because I have no time to deal with DC's right now.
I need to stabilize the dream and get my second lesson in time dilation...

... I'm in Haven with Yuya and Liv.
I have trouble stabilizing the dream but eventually manage to get there.
Once stable I immediately get back to doing the awareness technique from the previous dream, sort of to show off in case Yuya tests me.
But she doesn't. There is simply no need, she is fully aware of my thoughts and how aware I am right now.
Liv is curious about what we are doing and I have a difficult time explaining it to her.
She is unaware of the difficulty of remaining in a dream or the concept of stability.

We walk along a path that I remember. I've been here before but I cannot quite remember what I was doing.
Then I see the water pools, yep, this is the fighting practice area.
Yuya starts walking onto one of the pools and I follow her.
Walking on water is second nature to me nowadays, but thinking back, it's the first thing that Yuya taught me when I met her again.

I suddenly get goosebumps and instinctively power up and take a defensive stance.
Huh? It was Yuya.I felt the shock of her suddenly powering up.

      "Nice reaction!"
      "Cheers. What are we doing?"

I barely manage to block her attack as she blinks towards me.
Without my recent training she would have knocked me unconscious with this.
I'm kind of in the mood to fight her now, I wonder how I compare to her nowadays.
      I smile.

      "Awareness Hyu."
"What? Oh, you've got to be kidding me! During a fight???"
"Why? Are you scared that I'll slap you across the face?"
      "Hahaha, alright, let's do this!"

I awaken the dragon and charge towards her.
She easily blocks all of my attacks. No surprise there though.
So far so good, I manage to remain fully aware of my surroundings.
The fight is pretty tame, I don't get myself into uncomfortable positions, have I gotten closer to the skill level of Yuya?

      She summons her pressurized spheres.
Well shit. I forgot about those.
The spheres are horribly dangerous and difficult to fight against.
She basically creates 5 water spheres about the size of a basket balls.
Then she compresses them down to the size of a grain of sand.
I'm not even sure how it's possible to compress a liquid at all.

The pressure of these spheres is immense. They can be used both defensively and offensively.
She moves them around telepathically at extreme speeds and can make them burst whenever she wants,
releasing the contained water at extreme pressures, cutting through anything in their way.

You really can't let them touch you unless you don't mind loosing a limb.
Fighting against them requires a lot of blinking, which causes stability problems due to the distorted vision.

It would be rather useful to have my katana right now, but I'm not using it in a practice battle with Yuya, it's too dangerous.
I don't use the dragon eyes either, because the thought on using them on a friend scares the shit out of me.
In return she doesn't use her water extraction technique, which I wouldn't know how to fight against.
I only saw her use it once in a fight.
Within a split second she extracted the entire blood from her enemy and he died on the spot.
      It's a really scary technique.

      What am I doing?
I'm thinking too much. I should look for openings instead and strike whenever I see one.
But Yuya is way too skilled to provide such an opening, I'll have to force one.
I create and launch spheres of compressed energy at her. Those are rather explosive and fairly dangerous.
I got the idea from her water spheres. Attacks of compressed energy have their advantages.
They are much more efficient against single targets.
The technique is also cheap energy wise, so I can cast it a lot, making it an ideal tool to get someone off balance.

She is moving 3 of her water spheres into a defensive position to cope with my relentless attacks.
      Time to get serious.
I make an aggressive blink, right in front of her, and try to strike her with a fist.
This is obviously not going to work, I expect her to blink away.
I'm using a multiblink attack, which is very difficult to perform.
I try to feel where she's going to blink to to dodge my attack and blink myself to the new location simultaneously.

Blinking usually has some sort of cooldown, making this impossible, but using enough energy it is possible to force it.
The energy required to do this is ludicrous though, so multiblink attacks are extremely exhausting.
But you basically put your opponent into a position where he is forced to multiblink as well to dodge the attack.
Yuya and I are skilled enough to do it about 4-5 times in a row, but after that everything hurts.
Your aura is completely unstable at that point and takes seconds to recover, during which you cannot focus your energy at all.

The reason I'm using such an attack is to nullify an immense advantage she has over me.
She doesn't need to stay lucid. She lives in this world, I am merely a visitor.

      Here she goes.
      2 Blinks... 3, 4, and finally a fifth.
The energy in my fist has completely dissipated due to all the blinking, and she can now easily block it.
I land on the water surface and have difficulty remaining on top due to my now unstable aura.

I attack her again, purely physically this time, as I neither of us can focus any energy.
Whoever manages to focus his energy first will have the tremendous advantage of launching the first serious attack.
I might have the advantage on this, dragonic energy is extremely unstable by nature, so I'm used to it.
I should be able to focus my energy before my aura has fully stabilized.

I can feel my aura tingling. This should be enough!
I focus energy into the tattoo stretched over my right arm and quickly cast a fire based attack towards Yuya.
      She dodges it by blinking.
How the hell can she do that???
How is her aura stable enough already to blink?

I screwed up big time. I casted this before my aura stabilized, and now it's completely messed up again.
Yuya is over me charging towards me. She's casting a spell.
      Shit, I can't do anything.
The water surface collapses beneath my feet and I am dragged underwater.
She's controlling the water, increasing it's pressure attempting to hold me in place.
I see her splash through the water surface still charging at me fast.
      She is wielding a trident.

But she's overconfident. She's in her element, so she thinks I must be at a huge disadvantage.
Yet, even though I do not control water, I can make good use of it.
My aura stabilizes and I create an extremely strong electric field in front of me.
Electrolysis! I split water into hydrogen and oxygen. The correct mixture is highly explosive.
She realizes what I've done too late and I ignite the mixture with a fire sphere.

Oh shit. I didn't think this through.
The explosion is huge and we are both catapulted out of the water.
Everything is extremely foggy because so much water evaporated and water drops are going everywhere.
I can barely see. This is really dangerous, the dream could collapse.
I don't even know where up and down is.

I decide to completely ignore my vision and rely on my sense of global awareness instead.
Good call! I sense 5 sources of compressed energy approaching. Water spheres!
I quickly locate Yuya's aura and blink towards her.
I catch her slightly of guard and manage to land a focused hit.
She blocks it fine, but still.
Focused energy attacks are better to avoid than to block.
They cause all sorts of vibrations in your aura making followup moves difficult.

I try to chain a few attacks together but quickly feel the exhaustion kicking in and I back up.
Most of the water has come down and my vision becomes useful again.

      She performs a blink attack.
Shit! She's going to chain them up.
We blink a total of 4 times.
      It hurts so much.

This keeps going for a few more rounds.
One of us performs a multiblink attack and gets us both completely out of position.
Then it's a race to the first attack and a matter of somehow defending against it.
      It is absolutely exhausting.
My limbs become insanely heavy and I start to loose the ability to focus my energy properly.
We fight for maybe a total of 15 minutes, which is actually quite a long time considering the speed we're going at.

"Alright... let's call it a draw..."
      "No... I win."

Oh come on. She's just as exhausted as I am, she can barely stand.

"You lost awareness of your surroundings."
      "Fuck my life."
      "Haha. You completely forgot!"
      "..."
"And guess what? You're still here."
"Huh? I thought the goal of this was to remain aware of my surroundings."
"No, that's not the goal at all. The goal is to have deeper dreams. The goal is to remain here for longer."

      ...
      Wait what?

      "Hold on a second!"

She got that grin of her face.
      That "she knows everything" grin.

"You're telling me the heightened awareness thing isn't actually necessary to stay lucid???"
"Of course not! How would you pull that off for multiple hours in a row?"
      "..."
"I said your awareness level was too random, we did some training to fix that."
"So you're saying it is already fixed?"
"I am now convinced that it is already fixed."

      Woah. That was fast.

"So.. what are we doing now?"
      "Teaching you to let go."

Let go? Let go of waking life?
Not thinking about it all the time and rather focus on the dream?
Of course... she told me many times before...

I take a quick dip in the water to get rid of the smell.
      I'm sweating like a pig.

We walk back towards Yuya's place, discussing dreaming and being awake.
I mention Dreamviews, which I haven't done very often before.
Yuya tells me to say hi to fOrceez and Dark_Merlin.
Liv doesn't say a word. I don't think she's ever seen Yuya and me fight, that must have been quite intense for her.

      Damn... I'm so exhausted.
Why do you even get exhausted in dreams?

      "Why wouldn't you?"
      "Eh... yeah..."
      "Indeed."
"So, what do I do against it?"
      "... are you serious?"

      >_<

"You sleep of course! Or did you think I would sleep just for fun?"
"Well... now that you put it this way."

Liv leaves us and we quickly get into bed.
Goddamn I'm exhausted. Every muscle in my body hurts.

      "This is a problem"
      "What is?"
"If I want to sleep I'll have to close my eyes."
      "So?"
      "I might wake up?"
"zzz, you've picked up a lot of nonsense"
      "I have?"
"These 'dream rules'. Darkness is bad, don't close your eyes. Don't talk. Yada yada."
      "Yeah, I kinda have, haven't I?"
"I know the not talking one is nonsense, I talk all the time."
"It's no different for closing your eyes."
"I know you're right. I only wake up because I'm scared that I might. But it seems hard to get over."

      "Pff... hahahaha"
      "What's so funny?"
"Hurr hurr, I'm a badass dragon, I can fight a goddess of water and do all sorts of shit."
"Yet I can't even close my eyes.... haha.... I'm sorry Hyu, but this is funny."

      It kind of is.
Screw it. Let's do this shit!
      I close my eyes.

"You know, when you exploded half of the fucking training pool you didn't see anything either."
"That didn't wake you up, so why would closing your eyes do so?"

      Yep, my thoughts exactly.
I open my eyes again to sneak a closer look at her.

      WHAT THE FUCK?
How am I awake? What is this shit?
I'm a bit mad, but happy to have made progress.
I take some quick notes and go back to sleep.

      Giant and Lizard Battle

I was standing on the side of a dirt road at the top of a hill. I knew there was supposed to be a village a few miles from there. For some reason there were hundreds of people walking along the road towards me. They had horses and carriages with them. It looked as if they were evacuating or moving to a new location. I stopped a woman so I could talk to her. "What is everyone doing?" I asked. "We're leaving the city." She said. "Why?" I asked. "Monsters have taken over." She replied before moving on.

I became lucid at this point due to the mention of monsters. I was able to recognize it as a dream thing this time. The thought of hundreds of people abandoning a city because of monsters made me just a little upset and angry. I wanted to go over the city and stop the monsters. I used these emotions to go into a low level fury mode. I used this new energy to transform into a black dragon. I then took off into the sky and flew at a very high speed with the fury energy. I came close to where the village should have been in about 10 seconds.

As I was flying I looked down and noticed there was nothing there but a large crater. The town had been completed destroyed and all that was left was a desert. I saw a grey giant thing sitting in the middle of the crater. I was about to attack it, but I sensed the energy of something flying towards me at a very fast speed. I quickly moved downward to avoid it and it stopped right above me. It was some sort of lizard raptor thing and it felt powerful. I put my hands in the air and created a large purple disc of fury energy. I then quickly threw the disc at the raptor. I thought he would have dodged it, but instead he blocked. It exploded when it hit him and damaged him only a little.

The raptor quickly flew down and threw a punch at me. I blocked it and we got in a very intense martial arts fight while hovering in the air. Neither of us managed to land a solid hit and we appeared to be of equal strength. At one point though I did find an opening and I punched him as hard as I could. He fell towards the ground and created a crater where he landed. I thought I had defeated the raptor, so I flew towards the giant. I hovered in front of the giant's face and started punching and kicking at it. It was enough to irritate him, but it was generally ineffective. I sensed the raptor's energy coming up from behind again as I fought the giant. When the raptor tried attacking me, I blocked him again. I then had to fight both the giant and the raptor at the same time. It was a little too much for me.

It wasn't long before the raptor found an opening in my defense. He kicked me hard and I flew up into the air. The giant then jumped up and punched me towards the ground. I used the fury energy to create a force field around right before I hit the ground. When I hit the ground, it created a massive crater. My shield broke when I hit the ground, so I was only able to absorb some the impact. It was just enough to save me from being killed. It hurt like hell though and I could hardly move. At this point I realized I wouldn't be able to do this on my own. "Where's Claire when you need her?" I thought out loud. I tried to get up, but I just couldn't. "Claire!" I yelled in desperation.

Three seconds later, a portal opened in front of me. Claire came out of the portal with her sword and battle armor. I can't remember much more of the dream after this point. I know Claire fought both of the monsters at once to protect me. I also remember she use a lot of lightning bolts as usual. Although I can't remember exactly, I'm pretty sure she won the fight.

    8. The Beach

by , 05-05-2012 at 11:44 AM (Dream Tales)

It was a glorious sunny day and I was at the beach with Tony and Ziva from NCIS. I ran along the coastline in my swimming costume and as I did so a group of seals began to swim past, leaping into the air as they did so.

“Look!” I cried, “Look, look! Seals!”

The seals were really tame and cam right up close, even letting me stroke them. Then Ziva went past in the sea on a giant blue and white foam board. She was laughing with Tony who had a red and white board.

I dashed off and grabbed my own board (also red and white) then joined them in the sea. The water was warm and a crystalline blue and we all laughed as we splashed about. Suddenly Tony and I went all elemental.

A fiery red glow appeared around my body with white Japanese symbols emanating from it. Tony got a matching blue glow and we both became covered in cool, body hugging armour of the same colour.

Ziva appeared beside us in matching yellow armour and a fight began but it was blurry and I couldn’t make anything out. The only thing I remember was seeing Ziva beat down. Her armour vanished and not long after so did mine and Tony’s.

Tony then announced that he had to leave and we all looked miserable. We walked him to the bus stop and sat around with him whilst we waited for the bus to arrive. Before it could, however, I found myself with Tony in a Tesco store. My auntie was working there in a Woolworths uniform and I said hello to her.

“That’s my auntie Karen”, I informed Tony.

“I know”, he said. “I’ve met her before”.

Then we bumped into my mum in the cheese section. She had just mistaken Tony for my nonexistent gay brother when I woke up.

      Riverside Snipers

This dream started off at the pavilion at Riverside Park in Loudonville. The pavilion was rigged up like a bunker with sandbags and barbed wire protecting it. I was there with about 20 other people maybe. There were tons of different guns lying on the tables, but mostly sniper rifles. There were a few officers there that were giving orders, tasks, and equipment. Before anyone could tell me what exactly was happening or what my job was, bullets started flying towards us. "They're here! Get to your positions!" An officer yelled. I looked towards the other side of the park and saw a bunch of people with guns shooting at us. The battle had begun.

I moved to the left side of the pavilion where there only seemed to be a couple other people. Because I didn't have any orders or any idea of the situation, I thought it would be best to stay out of the way. There were some automatic weapons on this side. I grabbed what I'm assuming was an M16 rifle and ducked behind the bags of sand before I could get shot. When there was a break in the bullets flying towards me, I got back up and started firing at them. I hit a few enemies before they started to hide behind the trees and park toys.

It wasn't very long until my clip went empty. Right when I stopped firing, a girl with a sniper rifle came out from behind a tree. My danger sense activated on its own and I looked right at her when she fired. I then slowed down time and just barely dodged the bullet. Time control had saved me once again.
I became lucid at this point because I recognized time control as one of my dream powers. I ducked back down behind the sandbags and thought about my situation. I figured it would be hard to hit people so far away with an M16. I decided to try my hand at sniping.

I ran over to the right side of the pavilion while staying as low as possible. I then picked up a hunting rifle that was painted red. I looked through the scope and started looking for people to shoot. Using time control, I was able to speed myself up to quickly find and shoot targets. I was moving a little too quickly though and accidentally shot one of my own guys. He was just standing out in the open with an SMG, so i assumed he was an enemy at first.

"Oh shoot!" I yelled when I realized my mistake. "Dude! You just shot one of our guys!" Someone to my left said. "He was just standing in the open so I thought he was an enemy! Well, I didn't like him that much anyways." I said. We then carried on with the battle and sniped more enemies. I started to feel really guilty about shooting the guy though. "Okay, just kill me now. I deserve it." I said. The guy to my left pointed his rifle at my head and said, "Okay." I wasn't afraid of being killed, but I remembered that guns are very loud. That didn't make me feel very comfortable about it being pointed into my ear. I really hate loud noises. "Wait! I change my mind! That's too loud for me!" I yelled to him. "Okay." He said and went back to sniping.

I can't remember what happened after that. I think I might have woken up voluntarily.

      Basic TOTM

I was somewhere in the desert way out west. I was standing outside some old west styled town. I was on some sort of mission, but I can't remember what exactly the goal was. I tried walking into the town, but a few snipers were hiding around the town. They recognized me as someone who is a threat and started shooting at me. I remembered how snipers were a theme of the last dream and became lucid. I slowed down time and dive rolled behind a building. Strangely, they acted as if I didn't exist anymore and the town's residents became active.

I sat behind that building for a moment. I was trying to think of a way to sneak in without getting shot at. I could feel the energy of someone walking towards the building. I knew this person would see me and cause a panic. I suddenly remembered the basic task of the month for some reason and linked it to my problems. I waited for the person to come around the corner and prepared to turn into a shadow. A woman came around the corner and I turned into a shadow. Before she had the chance to scream, I phased into her body. I'm not 100% sure what I did once i was inside her. I sort of attached my shadow to her body while mixing our energies. I waited until it felt like her body felt like it was mine. I moved my body around a little to test it out. I had completely taken over her body and she probably wasn't aware of anything.

I casually walked back into town. I watched the snipers out of the corner of my eye and they didn't sense that anything was wrong. I had a feeling that I would need guns for my mission. I walked into a gun store and looked around. Surprisingly, no one was there and there was only a few sniper rifles lying around. I would have expected to see some revolvers. I grabbed a rifle and walked outside. I was only inside for like 10 seconds maybe and there were already a few black cars parked outside. Some government agents like the ones in The Matrix stepped out of the vehicles. They could have been pointing their guns at me because I was holding a sniper rifle. I get the feeling though that they knew I was trouble.

When they started firing at me, I slowed down time and started dodging bullets. I flipped behind the porch of a building and took cover there. I was doing my best not to get shot while in someone's body. When I heard their guns go click, I went out into the open while slowing down time. I looked through the scope and killed an agent who had an assault rifle. A couple agents with hand guns started shooting at me. I did an aerial to get out of the way. Half way through the aerial I shot one of the agents in the heart. When I hit the ground, I was still being shot at, so I rolled behind one of the cars. I then stood back up and quickly shot the last too remaining agents.

As I reloaded my rifle, something started falling towards the Earth. It was some sort alien monster machine thing. It had four steel tentacle legs that it used for walking. The main part of the creature was a giant brain inside a dome. It landed on the roof of a building and showed me some spinning blades at the end of its tentacles. I shot it a few times with my rifle, but the bullets only bounced off of it. I tossed the sniper rifle to the side and summoned my crystal sword. It swiped at me with its spinning blades and I blocked it with my sword. When I knocked the tentacle away, I focused lightning magic into the crystals of my sword. I jumped towards the monster and slashed it a few times. It appeared to cause damage and pain to the creature. I was about to strike its brain, but a tentacle came from the side and grabbed me. It swung me around the air for a moment before throwing me back down towards the ground. I surrounded myself with earth magic before I hit the ground to absorb the impact.

I got back off the ground and ran right back towards the monster. When I jumped towards it a blue bubble of energy surrounded both of us. We were then teleported to the monster's home planet. It was a dark, cold, rocky planet. Three more of those monsters appeared in front of us. Rather than killing me though, they actually started talking. "Junior! What have I told you about rampaging?!" The bigger one said. "It isn't nice..." The monster next to me said. "That's right! You're grounded!" The big one said. "But mom!" He said. "No buts! Come on, we're going home." The big one told him. The two other ones next to the mother started laughing. "Mom, you're embarrassing me!" He said. "You should have thought about that before you terrorized this little girl."

After this very unexpected discussion, they all left to go home. I think there home was a giant hole in the ground. I waved to them as the walked away and the mother waved back. I woke up after this.

      Advanced TOTM

I was sitting on the couch at my grandmother's house in Loudonville. It was night time. Bill offered me a cup of coffee and I accepted it. I've never had coffee before and I felt like trying it for some reason. I took a sip of it and it tasted horrible. I'm not even sure how to describe the taste. I then went to the kitchen to find a way to improve upon it. I found some maple syrup and decided to pour a glob of that in. Everything is better with maple! I also found a container of sugar. I poured that in until the cup started over flowing. After mixing it a little I tasted it again. It tasted better, but the coffee taste was still too much for me to tolerate.

My sister came through the door and told me that it was Halloween night. We were apparently supposed to attend some Halloween seminar or something. I didn't really want to go, but it was either that or drinking coffee. The seminar was supposed to be in a big white building at the end of Main Street. It felt like it was too far away for me to simply walk. I like to run. I started sprinting ahead for a few seconds before my sister yelled at me. I forgot that she hates running and doesn't like being outside at night alone. So I ran back to her, lifted her onto my back, and started running. It was a bit of a challenge because it actually felt like I was carrying someone.

By the time we got to the end of Main Street I was tired out. My sister had to drag me across the floor at this point because I was too exhausted and lazy. When we walked inside there was a huge crowd of people, a podium on the other side, and a bunch of Legos on a table in the middle of the crowd. A lady was at the podium giving a speech about something. I can't remember anything she said though, so it apparently wasn't anything I cared too much about.

I stood there for a while and tried to keep myself busy during the boring speech. My attention was then directed towards the Legos. There was a little girl that was some how able to command them to magically walk on their own. I think this little girl was actually Lucia.
I became lucid for what I am not quite sure. It might have been because of Lucia or because of magical Lego people. I remembered the advanced task of the month at this moment. I remembered that I wanted to make Lego people become life sized. There were two of them on the table that weren't moving. I did what Lucia did and poked both of the Lego people. They suddenly jumped to life and started moving around. These two Lego people then ran into each other, and the motions they were making looked kind of odd.

I noticed that the Lego people had energies like living people. I focused on this energies and tried to expand them. When I did that, the two awkwardly moving Lego people grew to about my size. The attention of everyone in the room shifted to them now. It turns out those weird motions were them trying to have sex. Everyone in the room found this kind of disturbing. I summoned a camera and aimed it at the Lego people. "Let's try to remember this moment as insufficiently as possible" I said. I think by that I meant we should try to forget this as much as we can. I then took a picture of them and tore the picture apart. When I did this, the two Lego people disappeared and everyone forgot it had happened. I had captured a moment in time and effectively erased it.

I can't remember much of what happened after that. I sat through the boring speech for a while. I decided that the speech was boring enough for me to want to remember as insufficiently as possible. So I walked outside with my camera and aimed it at the building. "Let's try to remember this moment as insufficiently as possible!" I said. I then took the picture, tore it up, and walked back towards my grandma's house. I think I woke up before I got there though.

Finally had me some brief lucidity! And I do mean brief. However, this is a good sign of things to come

      (Fragment)

I'm on a boat of some description. It's fairly square, and has balconies like on a paddle steamer. I remember going inside and seeing a kitchen and a television. I think I got something to eat. My dad was there as well. [Fragment, 0.5 points]

      Scene Change

I and my friend J are near a canal. On one side is a huge red brick wall, stretching horizontally for miles. On "our side" of the river are several two storied shops and houses. Several tall black Victorian lampposts and benches line the canal. The floor is a sandstone tile, and looks quite pleasing. There are two arched bridges going over the canal, with people crossing them.

For some reason I hold a pistol in my hand, and it soon becomes apparent why. Across the water I see a group of metro police (half life 2) about to cross the bridge nearest me. I fired into them, taking one down. They instantly drew their batons and began radioing for assistance. The people around us didn't seem to mind.

      (Minor Transition)

Night falls, and the police are gone, presumably dead. Since no one's now around, we break into one of the stores. I find some ammunition and supplies. We then decide to leave before more enemies come.

      (Minor Transition)

We're walking down a gravel country road in between large hedges, leading away from the city. We climb up on one hedge to find that it forms a huge 'block', if you will, of leaves that we stand on. This stretched up to a farm house, with a beat up pick up truck outside. We then notice the Brotherhood of Steel outcasts torching the area or stomping around menacingly, dressed in black and red power armour.

My friend says to me "What if I do this?" before firing a large energy weapon and laughing. It shoots a huge blue ball towards them and explodes, killing some.

      Excrement hits the fan.

What ensues is a brief battle, in which we slaughter the outcasts. Farmers, women and older children come out of the house and offer to join us, all wielding weapons. I pick up a shotgun from near the truck, but for some reason it's fused with another like a weird first person glitch. I throw one away. It's a twin barrelled break action 410. We were attacked by a few more outcasts, prompting me to scout a path in a nearby hedge.

It leads to a field on a hill sloping down before me. The sun is just rising over the horizon. A farmer and a his son step out towards me. Not initially realising the lack of threat, I shoot, thankfully missing them. They're rather miffed, naturally. I then tell them why I'm on edge, panting "You weren't there!" like a grizzled war veteran. [Whole Dream, 1 point]

      Scene Change

I'm now lucid. I seem to be looking at me from a weird angle, only seeing concrete on the floor. I seem to be not fully "in the dream" as I seem to be able to feel my physical body dragging me back. I slowly get pulled back and I wake up. [Became Lucid, 5 points] [Fragment, 0.5 points]

      Training Fury Mode

The earliest thing I can remember is walking around an old tomb with Chris. I really don't know what it was. I was inside a man made tunnel with stone walls. I could tell it was made by an ancient civilization because there were hieroglyphics on pretty much everything. Judging by the different shapes and sizes of the stone ruins, I made an assumption that there used to be a city in the tunnel. I tripped over a large stone platform as I was walking through the rubble and hurt my leg.

"What are we even doing here?" I asked Chris.
"These are the Dreamer Base ruins. The tower should be somewhere nearby." He said.

I then remembered that Chris had told me something similar before. We were looking for something that would be inside an ancient tower.
I think I became lucid around this point from hearing "Dreamer Base". It must have triggered me to think about lucid dreaming. I got up off the ground and felt really excited about finding this mystery item. Then a giant green troll monster thing crashed through the wall. Chris pulled out his bow and started shooting at the troll. The arrows were about as effective as tooth picks. For some reason I felt like I was too weak to be able to fight this thing. I decided it would be best to run away from this thing.

It picked up a large brick and threw it towards Chris. I grabbed Chris, opened up a a portal to the void, and jumped in before the brick could hit him. I quickly opened a portal to somewhere near the ruins below us before the troll get in. We both fell through the portal, and as usual I landed on my face. When I got up and looked around, I was in a forest now. Right next to me was Chris and a large stone tower. I knew that whatever I was looking for would be at the top of the tower.

I ran through the entrance and started running up the spiral staircase. Chris followed right behind me. When I reached the top of the stairs, there was a little door on the ceiling. I pushed it open and we climbed onto the roof. The view from up there was pretty amazing. There was a pedestal resting on the center of the roof. I kind of just took a guess on what I needed to do. I pulled a red crystal out of my backpack and placed it on the pedestal. It glowed brightly for a moment and then stopped. Suddenly my energy sense activated and I felt more than just Chris's energy behind me.

I turned around and jumped back, expecting to have to fight something. A large red dragon landed next to Chris and stared at me. I relaxed and dropped my fighting stance because he didn't feel dangerous. He spoke to me, but I can't remember what exactly we talked about at first. I do remember the last half of the conversation though.

"I am here to train you." The dragon said.
"Sorry, but I already know how to use my fire element." I said.
"No, I'm going to teach you about the 'fury mode', as you like to call it."
"Hey! I got an idea! Let's call it the Woosh! Because of the sound it makes when you release it?" Chris said.

Chris left me no choice but to facepalm after hearing that statement. Even the dragon gave Chris a strange look.

      "Okay, never mind." Chris said.
"I thought you could only breathe fire." I said to the dragon.
"Yes, but I know how to gather fury energy to make it more powerful." He said.

The dragon stepped back a few feet, preparing to demonstrate. He became very focused and a red energy started to form around him. He focused the energy to his foot and then stamped his foot down on the ground. Hundreds of large and powerful fireballs rose up out of the floor and flew into the sky. The exploded and lit the sky up with a bright red light. After seeing that, it was obvious that he knew a lot about this technique. I was so amazed and ready to learn from him at that point. I stepped back to the other side of the tower and prepared for my training.

"Think of something that angers you while gathering fury energy." The dragon said.

He didn't speak to anymore, but it sort of felt like he was still guiding me through it passively. I thought of something that made me angry, but I can't remember what it was. The idea was to gather energy from my emotions to make myself more powerful. I focused on making my energy spike while trying to become a little angry. My body started glowing with a purple energy that felt warm. I then transformed into my stage 1 dragon form, which is the black dragon I usually transform into. I powered the energy up some more and it grew into a full aura around me. At this point I was trying reach a stage where my fury mode would become more powerful. When my energy spiked again I transformed into my stage 2 dragon form, which is a more powerful white dragon. The aura didn't grow any larger, but it definitely felt far more intense. Eventually I pushed on through to my final stage 3 dragon form, which is a purple dragon. Once again, the fury energy greatly increased in power and intensity.

"Good job. Try to calm down without losing your energy now." He said.

I put my arms down and allowed all of the muscles in my body to relax. I allowed my mind to calm down while at the same time focusing on the energy around me. When I did this, the fury energy hardly lost power and was still flowing through me. I was able to maintain this energy now without my mind filled with anger. It felt pretty amazing having so much power. I walked over to Chris to show him. He waved his hand through the aura and thought it was pretty cool. As we were playing with the aura, I sensed the energies of a group of below in the forest. The three of us walked over to the edge of the tower to take a look.

When I looked down I saw a group of 10 or more men in red robes. From that it became obvious that they were Draflam soldiers. I wasn't sure why they were coming towards the tower though. I think it may have been because they don't like me and want me dead.

"How would you like to use those Draflams as target practice?" The dragon said smiling.
"Sounds like a good idea to me." I said
"This is going to be fun to watch!" Chris said.

I jumped over the tower wall and spread out my wings. I flew down towards the group of Draflams and prepared for a fight. I breathed out that purple energy on a couple of them like my fire breath. They were covered with a purple fire and were soon vaporized. Most of them quickly ran towards the tower, but one tried running away. I grabbed the fleeing Draflam and flew him right into the tower wall. I then flew right back towards the entrance and fired out a ball of fury energy in front of it. A few Draflams got inside the tower, but I blasted away the rest of them. I flew through a hole in the tower and landed on the staircase in front of them. They shot fireballs at me, but I created a shield around me out of fury energy. I then blasted out a wave of energy in front of me and killed the last of the soldiers.

I flew back up to the top of the tower. I deactivated my fury mode and walked over to Chris and the dragon. The congratulated me for completing my training. I think I woke up after this point though.

      Taking Out the Trash

This was a very short dream. My mother told me to take a bag of garbage out to the field to burn it. So I carried the bag out to the field. I pulled out a lighter to burn the trash, but it wasn't working. I became lucid at this point for some reason. Probably because being in a field is somewhat of a common dream sign for me. I decided the lighter was useless so I just tossed it over my shoulder. I held my hand out towards the garbage and lit in on fire. Magic makes everything so much easier. I think I was hit by a random car shortly after this. Why must my dreams end in stupid ways like that?

Soo i'm outside of Wal-Mart and I see Ginjo from the Bleach anime. I realize he's up to no good and we begin to fight. Somehow Ginjo turns into a girl from my school (Sophie) and I continue with the battle. I grab a huge stick and try to drop it down on her, somehow she evades it by doing a split and a backflip. Now we are in need of new weapons and we both walk to a huge pile of weapons casually. While over there, she says " I don't know why i'm fighting you, you're really nice" and I say " I know right". Then we pick up our weapons and run back into the battlefield.

After that I remember nothing else

Hmmm... where did these ones start x.x....

I don't think i can do any kind of order so...

One dream I was watching a sea-flying bird, it seemed to be looking for some fish to eat in these large crevices where the ocean met the cliffs. As me, and a group of people nearby watched, the bird seemed to have messed up, because it seemed to have gotten stuck when a wave banged up against the side wall, it floundered under the water. After a few moments, it got out of the water, flew up the side and stood on top of the rock seemingly gathering itself.

There was a battle on top of one of the high-rises, with guns n such. There seemed to be 3 buildings, of which they came from 2, I pretty much guared the top of mine..... was pretty much a slaughter of them. I remember at the end I was standing at the top I heard a voice of the maynd from the show i'd been watching, apparently she was taking some creatures and moving them somehwere they were allowed to be.

I recall running through rooms as a large.... oversized boar shaped creature.... that had head shapped like an aligator in terms of long jawed, snapping at me and a few people ahead of me as we ran from it. I recalled having gone through it..... so I stopped and decided to see what it would look like if it ate me..... it was very "dead space" ish if you know what I mean. I remember thinking how funny it was that it couldn't eat my ass fast enough.

I'm pretty sure I recall the parking structure again.... I'm starting to wonder if i should just use my locations as entry-ways... the structure has tons of cars..... yay i just remembered another bit of my dream

I recall stealing one of what seemed to be a pair of mean cars.... and randomly its owner caught up to me. I remember he asked me about it so I was like "let me show you how its not yours" i went to to the other side of the vehicle, and grabbed a spray can i had down there, and turn around to blast him in the eyes with it XD.... to which I remember talking to another dc about how.... i'd trapped him inside of the can as opposed to just spraying him with it lol.

      Possessed

This dream is a little fragmented at the beginning. I was lucid and fighting Micheal Myers in a dark place. I probably became lucid because Micheal Myers has been a dream sign for many years. I think I was fighting with him in an old abandoned house in the middle of the night. I can only remember the final moments of the fight. Micheal grabbed by throat and lifted me up into the air. He held me against the wall and tried to strangle me. I used the dragon morph to transform my foot. I swiped him in the eye with my claws and he stumbled back. I clenched my hands together and hit him hard in the face while he was still dazed. He fell to the ground and was still covering his face from the pain. I pulled out my sword and stabbed it through his chest. I then ended it by lighting him on fire with a fireball. His body evaporated into sparks and I saw his angry spirit fly away.

The next thing I know, I'm standing on the side walk of a small neighborhood in the middle of the day. For some reason, I was now a little girl of about 5 years old. There were 2 women talking to each other about something next to a baby carriage. I then started to hear a creepy whispering voice in my head.

      "Kill... Kill them..." It said.
"What? No!" I said in my mind.
"Do it... Do my evil work for me.... Let me live on inside of you!" The voice shouted.

I realized that this was Micheal Myers speaking to me. Suddenly my body and mind became possessed. I walked in a zombie like state towards a kitchen knife lying on the sidewalk. I picked up the knife and walked towards the baby carriage. When I lifted my arm to stab the baby, I regained control of myself again.

"What the hell? I'm not going to kill a baby!" I said in my mind.
      "Do it!" He shouted.
"You can't make me!" I yelled back.
"You will obey me." He said.

I lost control of my body and lifted the knife again. I thrusted the knife down towards the baby. In a fit of rage, I regained control of my left arm and swiped it in front of the knife at the last second. I managed to stop myself from killing the baby by stabbing myself in the arm. After Micheal lost control over me, I pulled the knife back out of my arm and dropped it. The two women then finally took notice to me and the baby. We were safe now that people were aware of the weird stuff happening. The last thing I remember of this dream is Micheal saying goodbye.

"You bastard..." Micheal said before disappearing from my mind.

      Underwater Combat

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I was Claire in this dream. I was in some school building that reminded me a lot of the Lucid Academy. I was following a group of classmates to an indoor pool. On the way there, someone shared half of a cookie with me for reasons I can't remember. It was unbelievably delicious. When we walked into the pool area, everyone excpet me rushed in and jumped in the water. I looked around the room and saw a guy standing against the wall with a large box. Inside the box was powdered donuts for sale. I pulled a small pouch of gold coins out of my pocket and bought the whole box from him. I ate a few donuts and then gave the box to some other guy to "bank" them. Things are a little fragmented from this point until the end of the dream.

I looked at the pool again and saw that everyone disappeared. I then saw a few people come back to the surface for breath and quickly dive back down. There was something down there and I was curious to see what it was. I saw a hole in the floor next to the pool filled with water and a ladder. For some reason I felt like going down that way. I jumped into the water and started to sink.
I became lucid after jumping into the water because it didn't feel right. The water just felt like air. While I was underwater I thought I had to hold my breath even though I was still passively breathing.

As I floated down to the bottom, I finally noticed what was so interesting under the water. I was now floating in the sky above a small village. I could see a bunch of people down there playing around with dream control. They were doing things like flying, super speed, shooting fire, summoning, and a bunch of other things. I can't remember what exactly happened when I reached the bottom, but I know some sort of free for all lucid battle started.

I think I was hiding behind a small shack where a man was trying to sell apples for the first half of the battle. I was too confused about what was happening to get involved. I then remembered that I needed to breathe, so I flew up to towards the surface. This one guy who was dominating the competition noticed me as I flew up. He flew at me from below on his black dragon. I could sense him and the dragon coming towards me, so I dodged to the left. He glared at me as he flew by, which made me think he was taking the game a little too seriously. The dragon then swung its claws at me as I pulled out my sword. It tried to swipe me a few times, but I deflected its claws with my sword. They decided to fly away from me when I got to the surface.

At the surface I saw Chris standing next to the hole. I can't remember what was said, but it was something about helping me out in the fight. He jumped into the water with me and we dived back down to the bottom. The first thing Chris did was charge at some guy who had transformed into an anthropomorphic tiger. I saw a cloud in the sky that resembled a dragon. That reminded me of my ability to summon dragons.

      "Summon dragon!" I shouted.

A dark blue dragon wearing armor came out from behind the cloud. I jumped onto its back as it flew past me. I saw some people standing on a few clouds, shooting fire, lightning, and other spells at the people below. I flew the dragon over the clouds so it could attack. The dragon breathed a blue fire on all of them and knocked them out of the game. I then remembered that I needed more air, so I jumped off the dragon and flew back to the surface.

When I descended back down to the village, I saw Chris standing on top of the apple shack. He was shooting at people with a bow and arrows. He must have been having fun because he was laughing the whole time. Then someone came out from behind a house and shot a hundred of these tiny energy balls at Chris. Chris kind of passed out from that and just layed on top of the apple shack. I climbed on top of the apple shack, grabbed Chris, and started flying towards those clouds again. The man tried shooting that energy pellet spell again, but my dragon flew between us to protect me. When I reached the cloud, I layed Chris down on it and got on my stomach to try hiding. The sound of an energy blast and seeing pellets fly by told me that he found me anyways.

I charged ice magic in the palm of my hand, rolled over, and started shooting bursts of ice magic at him. He took cover behind a stack of a crates. He then shot his energy pellets at me and I took cover behind the cloud, which was surprisingly protective. We continued this for a while and got no where. Eventually I decided to just shoot at him the second he comes back out from behind the crates. He didn't expect that and was soon frozen solid. I stood up and took a good look at the village. It seemed like me and Chris were the only ones left. Then of course, that one guy and his black dragon appeared in front of me.

I noticed that Chris was still holding his bow, so I took that to help me in the fight. The dragon was trying to charge a ball of shadow fire. I pulled the bow string back, created a fireball in the shape of an arrow, and shot it at the dragon. The fire arrow exploded when it hit the dragon and disrupted its spell. I did this a few more times to try and weaken the dragon. My dragon then suddenly flew up from below and finished them off with its blue fire breath. It looked as if we had won the battle. Chris started to wake up a little. I then remembered that we both had been underwater for a while and needed air. I picked him up and swam to the surface. I woke up when I reached the surface this time though.

    15. Haven - Silver & Stealing a crystal

      by
      Hyu
      , 02-25-2012 at 02:32 PM (Hyu's Adventures)
(I can't really remember the beginning of the dream and how I got there)

I'm in Haven with Yuya, Faye, Liv and Silver.
Silver is in Haven on business, I think he delivered an important package or something along those lines.
Yuya somehow talked him into taking a drink with us, and he is visibly displeased for accepting this offer.

Silver is a man who doesn't like to socialize much.
He is a fighter. He lives from battle to battle with little concern for other things.
Or so he used to be until he met us. Over the course of years we made him realize that he was fighting for the wrong side, which was obviously quite devastating for him.

He has changed his lifestyle since then, but it seems like he only lives to atone for his sins.
He doesn't have the same concept of friendship that we do, he considers us brothers in arms.
I wonder if that will ever change.

Faye is playing with a pony she has summoned.

What is it with all the ponies in my dreams since I've watched the MLP pilot?
I blame the guys on DV IRC...

Liv appears to be scared of Silver.
Yuya, Silver and I are talking whilst drinking some sort of lemonade.
But things aren't going well, Silver really doesn't want to talk, he just replies with "Yes" and "No" mostly.

I think about my situation. Sometimes this feels a bit like living a second life.
I wonder if that is weird? No... it isn't.

Silver leaves and I agree to help Yuya with something... (though I cannot recall what exactly with)

... Yuya and I are on another planet, entering some sort of temple.

We are here to obtain a certain item related to the device that powers the protective barrier for Haven.
Some of these devices were stolen a long time ago, but most of them have been returned.
There's still a few missing though, and this is one of them.

I can't really recall what the plan is, but I believe we are here to steal it.
Yuya and I are both disguised with the same attire worn by the monks in this temple, and we mimic their movements in order to not draw any attention to us.

But before we encounter the first monk, Yuya gives me an angry look.

      "What?"
      "Your hair!"

She's right. My hair is slightly blue-ish, which would draw a lot of attention.
I shake my head and my hair color changes into pitch black.
Yuya nods, confirming that this is much better.

We enter deeper layers of the temple and no-one seems to notice us, things seem to be going rather well.
That is, until we encounter a locked door.
There is a computer terminal in front of it, presumably responsible for opening the door.

"Open the door, I'll cover you."

Right. I approach the terminal which asks for a password.
Well, I'm not sure what I was expecting.

      "I don't know the password."

      Yuya looks at me confused.

"You're supposed to hack into it?"
      "Huh? How...?"
"Well... you can hack into things no?"
      "I can?"
"What about all those movies you've watched, they show you how to hack don't they?"
"Err Yuya... those movies are fiction, you can't just hack into something, it's a rather complicated and time consuming thing to do."
      "Oh..."

Well... that's not good. But then I have an idea.
I touch the door with my left hand and enlarge my aura to encompass the whole door in order to get a feel for the interior mechanics.
It's a rather simple system with locking bolts, like in a safe.
I proceed to create small gravitational fields for each bolt and pull them out of their locks.
I then casually open the door smiling at Yuya.
      She grins.

We enter what appears to be a treasure or storage room.
There are quite a few fancy looking boxes, most likely all containing very exotic and important items.
Yuya immediately spots the correct box and proceeds to open it.
This requires removing a considerable amount of locks, which is taking quite some time.
I decide to cover her until she's done.

After a short period of time I feel a presence.
There's someone else in this room, but I cannot see him.
I reach out with my aura and find 'something' approaching Yuya that is not visible.
I immediately blink next to it, whilst summoning my katana and take a defensive pose.

A monk materializes, holding a staff.
He seems contemplating to attack us.

      "I'd advise against that"
      "Thief!"
"We are merely returning what does not belong to you."

He decides to attack us anyways.
He leaps forward, swinging his staff at me.
I blink right behind him and slap him in the neck.
He drops to the ground unconscious.

      "We should probably hurry up."

A mob of angry monks is running towards our room.
I yet again create a gravitational field, and use it to close the safety door.
I then launch a stream of fire at it, welding the locking bolts in place.
This ought to slow them down.

Yuya finally manages to open the box, and takes out a tiny transparent crystal.
      She smiles at me.

      "This is it!"

Monks are teleporting through the door. How did I not think of that?

"Open a portal, I'll hold them off!"

I power up. I feel the dragon tattoo on my back growing and erupting into flames.
      Time slows down.
The monks are charging at me one after another.
I slash down their staffs with my katana, and push them away with shockwaves.
I try not to hurt them too much, after all I do not know if they know the details about the current situation.
They might just be trying to defend what they think is theirs.

      "Hyu!"

The portal is up. I blink backwards, next to Yuya, and we both jump through the portal...
