These were my dreams from this morning. The first, which I remember almost nothing about, solely consisted of me texting a friend while sitting in bed. Something caused me to wake up and I saw that I still had a little more than an hour before my alarm would go off, so I attempted a WBTB. I remember I was in a car with Sam and Dean from Supernatural, with possibly one other person. We stopped somewhere to eat I think, and at some point, I acquired a flash of lucidity. I got a little too excited and closed my eyes, very nearly waking myself up right there, but I just relaxed and visualized the setting of the dream and managed to stabilize it. I got back in the car with everyone else and started driving when I got the idea to just make the car fly like the way John flew the car in Homestuck. I imagined the car lifting off like a plane as I drove on the road, and it did start to lift a bit, but then a tornado appeared in front of us and lifted us up, although I still had complete control over the car and apparently the tornado. I commented that it was like The Wizard of Oz and cackled like a witch on purpose, then the dream or my recall skipped again. Still lucid, I was in a city at night standing in the street. I looked up into the sky determined to fly again and jumped. It was a bit difficult and I gained altitude pretty slowly, but I spread my arms, visualized rising up like an eagle riding a hot updraft (visualizing seems to really help when I'm trying to exert control), and flew up and over a bridge. Some of the birds who were up there squawking and chirping at me, so I jokingly squeaked and chirped back. I got the feeling that we actually understood each other, and eventually I landed on a rooftop garden courtyard thing. I believe I lost lucidity at this point, and there were a lot of kittens laying around in this courtyard that led down into an apartment. Most of them ignored me, until I walked down into the apartment a bit. I was afraid to proceed too far into the apartment for fear of getting caught, but then a few cats meowed and jumped onto me. They weren't hurting me, but they wouldn't let go and were basically just trying to weigh me down. I tried climbing back up the stairs but so many jumped on me I collapsed. I wasn't exactly afraid, they were just kittens after all, but I was a bit annoyed and I kept struggling until I woke up.
This one is pretty fuzzy, and I only remember a few flashes other than a part near the middle that I remember better. I remember something sexual towards the beginning of the dream, but only a few brief images. Then there was apparently some villain, but that's really all I remember. Near the middle of the dream, I was in my house with a large fishtank in front of my fireplace. My cat Trixie was there, along with another cat we had gotten that looked identical. We apparently had just bought two more that ALSO looked the same, but these were specially bred "aquatic" cats. I picked them up out of the carrier they were in and put them into the full fishtank, where they started swimming around underwater, breathing just fine as if they were fish. Trixie and the other normal cat were curious and pawed at the glass. I eventually took the cats out and let them run around the house, but then I got confused and mixed up all the cats. To fix it, I just said Trixie's name and she meowed. My mom, my three little cousins and I just kinda hung out with the cats for a while, and we played with what I think was a remote control helicopter. That's about it.

These are dreams from the past couple days. Because getting on the internet is a pain right now, I wrote what I could recall in here. Too Many Cats I come home and I see that there are six cats in the living room. I see that there are even more cats all through the house. I run into my mom who says that she has decided to become a cat hoarder. Publisher In WL, I recently wrote an autobiography cataloging everything that happened to me up until the end of high school. It contained many personal things that I never wanted other people to see. My parents had just sent this off to a publisher and collected a large check, about $1500 on the counter. There was also a bill showing that they had spent the money on expensive wines. Okay, I don't care less about what they spent the money on, but the autobiography I wrote contained a lot of personal information, and it should not have been published. I get very angry and trash my own home. Cosmic Forest Fire Now onto the good stuff. I am flying through space, getting some guided tour of the galaxy from what I have been noticing more and more, the "presence" in my dreams. It flies me past a large blue star that is surrounded by this disc of gas and dust. The star looks beautiful and very realistic. We fly past that to another white star. And (enter dream logic) the star is shaped like a skull rather than just a ball. This was a really interesting and strange sight. There is also a large disc of white clouds around it. The presence flies me toward the clouds and deposits me on them. As it turns out, I am in a very strange, interesting world. The skull-shaped star is the source of heat and light and the entire ring of gas and dust is the world. Most of it is white, and the white gas turns out to be snow when you actually get closer to it. I was cold, so I tried to make a fire with some spare wood laying around. There were actually small clusters of pine trees all around. I got a fire started, god help me how. But the fire quickly spread and started burning down all of the trees. The presence took me out of that location and left me at my house. My parents were there and they were scolding me for starting a cosmic forest fire. After a minute, I started to realize how absolutely ridiculous the situation was. I didn't make it to full-fledged lucidity before I woke up. Car Chase Me and two friends are chasing a large truck through a city. We are driving a black corvette. I try to open the door and jump from the corvette onto the truck, but the truck turns away down a side street at the last minute. I get lucid at somepoint after that, but the dream falls into chaos. I am in some large red cave looking through a satchel full of weapons. I then walk around on stilts in an attempt to fly. I feel like there was much more to this than I can recall right now.

After few non-lucid fragments (one interesting one involving a woman and a mythical being something like a bird and something like a qilin, and his 'missing part', which is in the form of another person this woman knows; otherwise dull), my memory picks up in a scene where I'm already semi-lucid (I'm controlling my surroundings and aware that this control is due to it being a dream, but otherwise have fairly low awareness and mostly go along with the dream storyline). I'm walking through a park with another man, while watching someone I think of as a killer, and I mentally push him toward his next target. However, at the moment I expect him to take out a knife, instead he puts his arm around his target's shoulders and hands him a cigarette. The killer, the target, and the man I'm walking with are all smoking. I take the cigarette from the man I'm walking with, intending to smoke it myself, but I find the dream won't allow it: first I'm holding nothing, it's back in that man's hand; then when I focus I find I can put it to my mouth and feel the physical pressure of it, but it doesn't resemble smoking. I've had similar problems before, when I deliberately focus on improving the realism of some complex physical sensation, and instead only wind up feeling the sense of pressure accurately, nothing else. I then focus on breath instead of on the cigarette itself, and something interesting happens. I have the impression I can control my surroundings far more easily by working in rhythm with my breathing. My memory's vague for the next two scenes, while I was focusing on breath - I saw this as a great development. (Dream logic inspired by meditation, maybe. There's no reason I should be breathing in a dream at all. I wonder whether I was actually in the same rhythm as my sleeping body's breath or not.) First I saw something like a shadow play, where the figures moved in rhythm with my breathing, under my control. Then I was walking through halls and passing people who appear to be from America of about 200 years ago, all of whom I find vaguely unpleasant; I still had the impression that I was successfully controlling something through breath in this scene. I wound up in a room where several people are sitting around a round table, and they call me and someone with me to join them. I start to sit down and an old woman stops me, points me to a different chair. To my left is a man holding what I think at first is a young boy. When I get another look at it, it has the face of an old man, and one of his eyes is that of a cat. This is all very unpleasant. I recognize him as my own cat, S., and I believe he's somehow sick. (S. died a long time ago, but I didn't remember this at the time.) We put him on the table, now in the form of a human-sized cat, and I chant a healing spell over him, mentioning a goddess, exerting dream control. Objects rise off the table and hover in the air, and the other people around the table join in, though by just chanting 'heal!' over and over again. I woke up while listening to them chant.
Dream Lucidity False Awakening I was having a firefight with some terrorists and I was killing them with a desert eagle that had a laser on it. I remember doing parkour and fighting some hobo calling me a fag before that. I was then with C. Alexander and some black girls watching something on world war 2. I remember saying Germany was not as bad as Japan. Alexander and I then laid together and her grandma got mad so I grabbed my stuff and left for the airport to catch my flight. I missed the exit so I took the next one. I was on a hill and there were a lot of buildings and roads that curved a lot. I got mad because the layout of the parking lot was stupid so I woke up. I had a false awakening. I couldn't move my head and when I tried, I could only move it a little bit. I told myself to wake up again and I did, but it was another false awakening. I did a reality check of my hand and part of it was transparent and would appear and reappear and I went lucid. I got excited and noticed my dream ending. I tried to dream spin but couldn't. I woke up again. This time I was pretty sure it was a real awakening and was started to get scared but upon counting my fingers, I realized I wasn't and I became lucid again. With my right arm, I grabbed my head and pulled it up, making it possible for me to move it again. As I was getting up, I felt as if my mind was rising, maybe I was having an OBE. I looked at the bed to see if my body was still there but it wasn't. Everything felt so real. My objective for my next lucid dream was to explore the dream scene. I was in my room and went to the kitchen, where a purple desk with a fluffly white and beige cat was sitting on. In the living room was a blue sofa and a white cat sitting on top of it. I was going to ask what they represented but then remembered my other objective: Ask my dream to show my dream guide. I faced the door and said "I want to see my dream guide." I turned around and noticed a radio. That couldn't be it. I turned around again and said "When I turn around, I went her, my dream guide, or him to be right behind me!" As I was saying it, I heard a female voice behind me. I turned around and there was a speaker and a vacuum. I was confused why I would have objects instead of a person. I also had a headphone hanging on my left shoulder. Static was coming through it. I knelt down and asked: "So which one of you is my dream guide?" I heard static and murmurs coming from my headphone. I asked again. "Which one of you is my dream guide?" Suddenly, I hear 2 or more girls say "You are!" at the same time. I know they're saying that I am my dream guide. I rose and repeated "I am..." to not forget what happened, I decided to wake up. I told myself "I need to wake up", and I woke up to the waking world.
This is a short info summary from the 15th Pre bed: l-arginine (500) Natural wake: l-tyrosine (500) Didn't do wbtb, no notes on pre bed work. Focus was on sleeping, no review in mind or notes taken until final wake. The dreams were extremely vivid, wonder about the effect of this combo. Vividness may have also been boosted by lack of sleep in the days before. NLD: In some very green neighborhood that transitions into a forest, very vivid experience. I notice there are cats everywhere, more and more of them (DS). Further there's a place where this DC is giving a presentation about getting rid of the cats and making some sort of lucid camp on the same place, teaching people how to ld. Short ld: In the early part of this dream we are in a cool mansion where there is some event and I'm collecting various food items. We (me and some random and changing DC companion) then leave the mansion and I shortly get a game like view of the map where the mansion is. We decide that something is chasing is and go back in the mansion to find some item to helps us with that. The mansion is now deserted, this thing is supposedly after us, we end up jumping on roofs and climbing down couple of trees. I know it is a dream when climbing down, somewhat low awareness here. On the street, I look at the DC and tell him to repeat this is a lucid dream and remind me of it later on as I would actually like to continue with this scenario. It's a bright sunny day and I catch part of a greek temple/baroque building behind the near buildings and contemplate whether to explore it. Decide to run through my goals first but the dream ends.

Fragment 1. Being forced to make a pancake dish. Someone wonders what I’ll do (to make it stand out). I crack an egg over the pancake in the skillet. -Jump- I’m looking for the pancake in the fridge. I ask dad if he saw it, because I wanted mom to try it, and he says he ate it. I find it anyway, because apparently he only ate the egg part. Dream 1. I go into a mostly unused part of a school, but there are people around. I ask a maintencance man what’s going on, and he says it’s being put out of use. As I walk around, I see that the floorboards are missing in many areas so that there are holes. I carefully navigate over/around them. I’m looking for Spice, I’m afraid he’s going to fall. I see him at a few points, as well as Smoke at one point. At another, I look into a small room to the right and see him sleeping on a chair across from someone. I’m reaching the end of the hall and my sister is with me. She falls through the floor but manages to catch herself on a ledge. That’s when we see that the floor isn’t far down, because we’re up on a hill now. I see a map in my head of the area, which looks like a dark field with a hill and flat part. -Jump- (Or maybe takes place in between looking for Spice and Rane falling.) I’m sitting in an audience watching someone talking on stage. I see the curtains moving behind them clumsily and I shake my head, because I know who’s there. A minute later, two girls(?) come out and start talking. There was something about a ‘stamp’ that people wore to identify them (or who they belonged to?). One of the girls had an almost see-through portion of her top as hers. Inspiration: Spice has been sleeping on the kitchen chair lately. Map from Pokemon stuff most likely. I have déjà vu for the beginning when I’m wandering the unused area of the school.
Notes: I tried to do a MILD, but when I woke up after 5 hours and did my mantra, I could not get back to sleep! Even after I gave up and hoped fo a DILD instead. Maybe it was partly due to excitement, but it was also unusually hot for being so early in the morning (3am). Of course this affected the rest of the night because I was more tired than usual. :/ Fragment. Sooomething about eating salt…like, right out of a measuring spoon. Inspiration: Either from me thinking about the sea salt I got recently or me wondering where the salt went in the chapter of One Piece I read yesterday. Dream 1. In a house, a girl tells me that ‘she [the house owner] didn’t know they were going to be like this’. I look into another room where a big group of people are partying it up. Apparently there was supposed to be some house project going on. I’m talking to the girl and she shows me how these two guys (can’t remember their names, they were generic like Mark and Carl) were credited. I say something like ‘even though they didn’t do a good job?’ and she replies that it was done by the company, these people didn’t have a say. Then there was something about another girl coming in, and this girl I’m talking to says the one guy was bad, but ‘you [other girl] need to tell the other one you loooove him’. Other girl leaves the room. -Jump- N’Doch from the Dragon Quartet series is driving a bike down the road (possibly having left the house in my place). He’s going pretty fast, buildings and scenery passing by. At one point he looks to the left and sees some tombstones. This part was pretty vivid! He notices some other guys surrounding him; I think they were on other vehicles. They’re challenging him. He’s reluctant, but he starts going faster. He turns the corners so fast and expertly. There’s only one guy left, but soon enough N’Doch is flying ahead of him. The guy is surprised when N’Doch turns right instead of left. He thought N’Doch lived that way or something. N’Doch loses the guy as he pulls up to a building and drives into it. He drives the bike up a few flights of stairs and through some rooms full of stuff, before he comes to his pad. He climbs up onto an area and a grey cat comes up to him. He says something like ‘you can sleep here’ and puts it down nearby. Inspiration: Finished Dragon Quartet recently. My cat Smoke is gray. Bike might come from thinking about the bike trigger in my dream palace.
6. Setting is my house but not IWL. I can’t sleep, so I go out into the livingroom. I’m sitting down and petting Spice when I notice a patch on his back is on fire! I take the white pillow that’s usually on mom’s bed and pat it out. I look at him and see no trace of it, and I suddenly feel confused and question what I saw. Is it really possible for something like that to happen? Perhaps a jump happens here, because I go back to my room with the living-room TV remote. There was something to do with my regular white pillow here, maybe I took the wrong one and had to go back to switch it? I lie down in the dark in bed and turn on the TV. I think ‘it works, even though it’s for a different TV’. I briefly worry it’s too loud because others are sleeping, but let it go. I turn it off after a bit because it’s useless, I wasn’t watching it. I see a brief light from the other room (guess I left the door open). I wonder what it is but then realize it must have been someone’s iPod Touch flashing on for a notification before going off. In the morning, dad asks me if I left my blanket on the table. I’m confused and question him, and he hands me the blanket. Inspirations: The fire comes from me glancing over a trigger in my dream palace. Pillow comes from the one I use as a prop as I go through my mind palace. TV probably comes from yesterday’s dream. iPod Touch flashing might come from me being blinded by car lights going by my room before bed. Notes: I questioned the dream, woohoo! I also rarely dream about being in my house, real one or not. I’ve been doing the memory RC more, I wonder if that’s why. 8) I always truly question my surroundings, because it’s hard to forget how realistic dreams can be, and how easily your mind can give up on questioning things because of that. So I really push it, ‘what makes this reality and not a dream?’ and then once I RC, I say ‘it’s not a dream this time/yet so no excuse not to keep questioning’.

4. I’m looking at two articles online about the manga Loveless. At the end of the title, one uses the Japanese kanji for ‘系/kei (system)’, except it’s not the real one (I remember one of the radicals (the bottom one in 公)but not the whole thing from the dream). The other article uses the Chinese kanji for ‘system’. I prefer the Chinese article’s writing because it talks about the manga itself, but prefer the other because of the Japanese, but it only has a summary of events. Inspiration: Haven’t thought about Loveless in a while, but I have two charms on my phone for it that I’ve looked at recently. 5. At grandma’s house eating. We almost leave without Jazzy, so I go back in to get her. We don’t have a crate so we put her in the backseat. I look back from the passenger’s seat to see her sleeping. There’s a bowl of (human?) food in front of her to the right. Note: Jazzy would never fall asleep on the seat like that haha, she’d be much more likely to hide under the seat and pant.

Today was a really weird day and the time change messed me up, plus I have to go get a bunch of groceries tomorrow morning after I exercise! And the hot weather is getting to me. My mind is all muddled. @_@ Must...perservere... 1. All I remember is a fluffy dark brown colored cat sitting beside a car(?) looking up at me. 2. I woke up to my voice announcing something in my head then remembered the dream. Apparently there was some kind of competition going on. I’m sitting in the audience talking about it to someone. A girl had somehow accidentally gotten off the stands into the middle of it. It was Greece vs. Turkey. She was Greek. She was looking panicked but trying to follow along, although it was obvious she just wanted out. It came to the final moment. She was standing against a wall and her opponent was a few paces away against the wall as well. Another opponent lands next to her, blocking her move out. The only thing she can do now to win is flip around him to the empty spot between them. Later, she’s talking to someone about how she doesn’t care if they think she should be happy to have been put in the position to win for her country, she didn’t ask for it, didn’t train for it, etc. She wanted an acknowledgement of what they put her through by not stopping it. Inspiration: I don’t know if it was the inspiration, but Greece vs Turkey reminds me of Axis Powers Hetalia. I can’t think of why else those countries would be in it.
I’m sitting in class in the front row on the right. The teacher puts down a sheet of paper on my tan desk. I pick it up and look it at. I got 800 points on my math homework. I think that sounds good. My [old] friend Liz looks back at me from the desk in front of me tells me she got a 400 (or was it 600?) and that higher is bad. I ask how low you have to get for it to be good. I can’t remember what she said. Suddenly, my cat Smoke jumps onto my lap. The teacher, who’s handing out papers to the row right of me watches as I obediently put him down on the floor. -Gap- There’s a sign-up sheet for “Misery”. Apparently you submit a picture with the theme and whoever wins gets something. I point it out to Liz. There’s a picture on there someone drew directly in a box of a face with pierced lips. I find it more funny than ‘miserable’ looking. Sitting back in our seats, I tell Liz I want to join but don’t have any pictures with me. She gets up and says that she’ll sign me up as a placeholder as I go get a picture. I know just the one I want to use. It’s a picturesque landscape scene with a cabin in it, the whole thing is drawn in blue, and it’s raining. I find it lovely, but some might find it miserable. Liz is worried about posting pictures up there without credit though. I say that I’ll make sure it has the source written on it. -Jump- I’m looking through booklets with sheets of paper, and point a spread out to Liz as a good candidate for ‘Misery’. It’s lineart of Gamzee and Karkat dressed up as hoodlums looking glum, and Gamzee has a cigarette in his mouth. I stop and consider if it’d be allowed as a submission because of that. Inspirations: Maybe because of the Ella dream. The drawn face reminds me of Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff. Gamzee and Karkat because I’ve been thinking about Homestuck lately since getting back into method of loci, as I used to use Homestuck flash game maps for mind palaces. 'Sourcing' from fanart issues in fandom.

Long story short: Computer broke, couldn't fix it, using crappy laptop now. :[ The dreams from 2-18 on are ones I've stored in my Pokemon Platinum memory palace. 1. Me? and a fairy. Or I was the fairy? Wandering around a house. Outside the house looking in a window, the fairy is inside. I bust the window to get her out. Inspiration: Fairy is one of my Persons in PAO (#84). 2. A really big tennis ball falling over a cliff and onto an old shack, down into a ravine. Inspiration: Used a tennis ball as a trigger in my bedroom memory palace for 'the park'. 3. Mom and Smoke paralyzed.

I believe these dreams were two separate ones! I was at a ceremony for my school (well, old school now), where I was having dinner with my parents and various classmates. We then went into this big hall where all the students and their parents were, and names were being called off in groups of two or three. If you were called, you had to rush down there and try to beat the other kid in a race to the bottom. If you won, you got a prize. I got called twice and managed to win both times without even knowing the rules. And my reward...was a pokemon game. This dream had me in my house. It started off as me not even being there, just watching as two famous actors (Rob Schneider and someone else) were discussing something. Eventually they disappeared and I got to walk around my house. I decided to call up PeanutButterGamer (FOR SOME REASON) and had a nice chat with him about mario. After this is when things started getting a bit weirder. I heard noises outside and got a bad feeling, so I instinctively went to the kitchen to grab a knife or something for protection. "Y'never know," I told myself. As I got to the kitchen, I looked outside. Cats were everywhere in my neighbor's back yard. Weird, cuz he normally has a bunch of dogs. They were going up to this pool of liquid (it looked kind of like apple cider), and lapping it up. I turned my eyes back to the kitchen, and there were suddenly a bunch of cats in it! Cue me going I opened the knife drawer, cuz I was still feeling paranoid about the noise I heard. The knife drawer was filled with the same cider looking liquid I saw before. I sighed and tried to get a towel to clean it up while all the cats mewed at me.

A note from an earlier wakeup that I no longer remember: "Rescue mission. 2 people ready to bodily drag this guy away from the queen, not realizing he has his own plan." I become lucid. (I no longer remember what was happening before this, if anything.) I'm standing at the bottom of a short flight of steps leading up out of a shop, onto a street, and there's two guys I'm with who are heading up the stairs, and if I want to follow the storyline of this dream I should head up those stairs with them. But given that I've just become lucid, I'm not sure the lucidity is stable enough to last through a scene-changing doorway, so I decide to abandon the storyline. I look around the shop instead, looking at the wooden pillars and ceiling, wondering what I'd like to do. There's a guy working the register who's grumbling, in a bad mood, and we start talking. He's attractive. The scene changes; we're elsewhere, having sex, and I can feel everything I do to him as if it were being done to me. He's aware of the sudden scene change, and he's confused, but up for it. His appearance gradually changes, and I become aware that without consciously deciding to do so, I'm changing him to better suit my tastes; now that I've noticed I'm doing it, I consciously encourage specific changes. Everything I change alters gradually, but then suddenly his whole appearance changes in an instant, now a goth/punk look, pale and with half his head shaved; I hadn't intended to do that. I'm thinking that all the gradual changes I was making must have pushed him to some tipping point, and I'm a little annoyed with myself. He's now becoming distressed; I don't think he's aware that he used to look very different, but he's aware something's off. The dream disappears, and I'm in darkness, no visuals, no body, thinking over what went wrong. I become aware that I'm lying in bed. (False awakening.) I open my eyes: I'm in a dorm, I think of this as a place associated with dreaming. The room's filled with many bunk beds, reminds me of hostels, and although I should have this room to myself, there are a bunch of people here now, new students who've arrived in the night. I try to go back to sleep, although they're very noisy, and I overhear something about framing someone for something as a joke, and something about cats and bad luck. Eventually I remember that I don't live in a dorm anymore, therefore none of this is real and I don't have to be here, so I get up to leave. One of the students tries to stop me, referencing cats and bad luck again, and I get really, irrationally, over-the-top irritated by this - by the idea of a DC standing in my way and wasting my time. I put my hand around his throat - my hand has long claws as I do so - move him out of my way, and walk out the door. (And then woke up.)
