    1. Old Entries 2 Lakeside wok

by , 04-29-2012 at 05:09 AM (Meanwhile In My Dreams...)
Walking to the lakeshore alone. I need something so I left the camp. A Girl, sitting alone by the edge of the water. I walk slowly behind her studying her. How come she's here, was I supposed to meet her here? She turns around and she's beautiful. All I can say is hi through my amazement. She says nothing but leans forward kissing me, and simultaneously pulling me with her into the water. I put my complete trust in her letting her lead me from the shore all while in a loving embrace. Then headlights appear on the far side of the lake. As she sees the lights her eyes widen. "They've come for me," sure turns to me with begging eyes. I have to protect The Girl, so i push us deeper into the water as the vehicle comes across the lake on a bridge. We swim across the lake as they reach the shore we started at. I get her back to land when the vehicle starts to make its way back across the bridge. I jump back off the dock, beckoning for The Girl to follow. She dives in, and I'm joyed that she trusts me. We swim under the bridge. The vehicle stops above us and guys start jumping in the water. I fight them off one by one as they reach me while The Girl swims back to the shore I met her at. Completely exhausted and almost beat to death I reach the dock and look up to see The Girl smiling down upon me. Her smile warms me as I pull myself from the water. Once on the dock I grab The Girls hand. The walk back to the camp was enjoyable silence. The old Lady who lives at the front of the camp watches us approach. When we reach her she stands up and smiles politely shaking her head approvingly.

    2. Lucid Dream: Thinking a DC was Real

      by , 03-06-2012 at 04:47 PM
      Lucid Dream:

I had been talking to someone about this show that would be filming in an area close to where I lived. It was something that I thought would be shown on Discovery Channel.

Then I am at the place where they are filming. I am sitting at a table. It is a kids' show. There are a couple other moms there with their preschool aged children. I am sitting by myself, but I decided that I didn't care. I wanted to be there and was enjoying what everyone was talking about (which I no longer remember).

Later, after the filming, I asked where this was taking place at. I felt odd asking that question. Shouldn't I know where I was? I had to have gotten here somehow. The lady told me, "PJ Island, Utah." I repeated that a couple of times...."PJ Island...Utah??"

And then it hit me. No wonder things weren't making sense.

      This is a dream.

I announced to the two ladies that were still there that this was a dream. I flew a few feet in the air to show them. I then flew back down to one of the moms. I asked her what her name was, It was Stephani B--something. I said, "Stephani--come fly with me...and later when we are awake we can talk about how cool this was, okay?"

So I got her flying a little in the air. Then a little girl who was about 4 wanted me to help her fly. I went to pick her up. She was extremely heavy. I tried to get her in the air, but the best I could do was to jump and slowly land. I was a little frustrated. Usually people I fly with are instantly weightless. But I did this for a little while because it was at least somthing the little girl could enjoy.

      And that's all I remember.

This was one of those dreams where I was a little mixed up in my thinking. Even those I knew that it was a dream, I was sure that Stephani was dreaming with me and that I would somehow meet up with her later to discuss this experience.

    3. Fus ro dah!

      by , 02-10-2012 at 07:51 PM
The earliest part I remember of my dream is walking up to a school building where I met someone who I apparently knew from school. I was lucid from the start (It was a WILD). Throughout the dream, I used a method which I commonly use to stay lucid, I merely just use my right hand to grab my left arm, and It works everytime.
At first I was observing this friend and another child fire automatic weapons at a stop sign, and then the other child started shooting at a red gas container. My friend stopped him immediately, at which point I took the place of the other child. Being lucid, I knew there was no impact that my actions could possibly have that would be lasting or harmful, so I suggested my friend pour the gas on a wooden table that was sitting on the porch of the school house. Suddenly, I noticed the brick wall that the school house was made of and I examined it much closer. It could not have looked any realer, in fact it could have been the real thing, had I not been lucid. At this point, I asked my friend if he had a lighter, so that we could burn up the table and the school house along with it. He said yes, and pulled out matches instead. At this point, I said to him that I know he’s a part of my subconscious. He suddenly looked very worried, like I had discovered a secret I wasn’t supposed to know. He started hugging me and saying that everything was ok, and I had to explain that I didn’t say “ I feel self-conscious, but that he’s part of my subconscious”. I think he knew what I was saying, but pretended not to understand. I knew it was a waste of time to pursue the matter, so I just moved on. I just told him “never mind, let’s just light this sucker!” As the table burned it eventually spread to the porch, and I became excited. Watching huge fires has always appealed to me. I now looked out from the porch, and noticed it had changed to night. I yelled loudly and forcefully, making it a command and not a request, “Change to daytime now!” Immediately, the sky became blue and cloudless. I got a sudden urge to just do something epic. The “Dovahkiin” music from skyrim began to play aloud, and I used the power of my voice to send out a wave of unrelenting force (FUS RO DAH!) I started to run off the porch and down the street, trying to fly, but I realized I needed wings. I began growing angelic wings but I still seemed too heavy for flight. But I persisted and flapped them harder and harder, and rose up, only to reach a ceiling maybe 40 feet into the sky, at which point I woke up.
    4. A brief encounter and an FA.

      by , 01-18-2012 at 07:00 AM
Tonight I decided to try out Galantamine and Choline - which resulted in very vivid dreams and remembering more dreams than usual.

One of them, although not lucid, really impressed me. It was an FA and it went like this.
I woke up, looked at my alarm clock and realized it was almost 7 AM. I usually get up at 5:30 and go to work, so I panicked thinking I overslept.
I rushed to the shower, washed and when I stepped out I woke up (for real this time).
I looked at the alarm clock and realized it was only 3 AM.
It was a very short dream, but it was certainly the most vivid FA I have ever had - it seemed to incorporate what I read about Galantamine making you sleepy/drowsy during the day. (Making me think I overslept)

      Anyway, on to the lucid!

I found myself standing in a two-room building, it was very small and I noticed I was dreaming, due to my vision being blurry/wavy - almost as if I was underwater.
I knelt down to stabilize by touching the carpet - first I looked at it, and my vision became super clear - it felt like I could see all the tiny details in the fabric. Then I tried touching it, closing my eyes to emphasize the feeling.

I struggled a bit to open my eyes, and I was afraid for a moment that I was waking up.
I succeeded and figured I needed to stabilize a little more.
I looked at my hands, my fingers were sort of squirming around making them seem snake-like.
I rubbed my hands together while looking at them.

The dream now seemed stable, so I went outside.
Outside I saw a bunch of DCs walking in a market-like square, I calmly walked around wanting to interact with one of them.
I finally picked someone to talk to, she was holding what seemed like a bag of bread - I walked up to her and said "Hi, how are you?".
She replied by saying "I'm having lunch!" and shoving me away with her arm - this surprised me a bit, and I woke up.

I stayed still to re-enter the dream, and I found myself back in the small house.
There was a girl with long brown hair, asking me which shirt I would like - a brown or a black.
The shirts had numbers on them, like the ones used at some sport events - turned out that's exactly what they were.
I chose the black one, not knowing that meant I had to take part in a long-distance run (I really dislike running!).

I went out and lined up for the event. When we started, I was lacking behind after a very short time.
I figured I could run faster if I expected to - this was my dream after all.
It took quite an effort at first, I had to really push my legs to move faster and faster, but after a while it seemed natural.
I ended up winning the race, and the excitement woke me up.

I re-entered the same dream a couple of times that night, but they were either very short or I don't remember a lot of detail.
When I finally woke up to get started with my daily routine, I found that the galantamine had not made me any more drowsy than usual - might be the excitement of having a very nice LD
    5. Asian girl and a word-play?

      by , 11-28-2011 at 11:56 AM
I figured I should get my DJ started now, as I had quite a few LD's last night (5 I think, but I only really remember two of them).

Here is the first one of them - my third LD after joining this site.

I was standing in front of a huge university-like building, it looked very old yet the architecture and the design were very well thought out.
I realized that it looked like something from a game I knew, and did a nose-plug RC, all this resulted in me becoming lucid.

I remembered about dream-stabilization (I forgot doing that in the first two LDs), so I looked around and saw a huge garden, in which I was standing, placed in front of the building.
I looked up at the building and examined it closer, it was sort of U-shaped, with a huge spire in the center. It had a large round window on the spire, which almost made it resemble that of a church.
I knelt down and felt the grass between my fingers, which still looking around at the garden and the sky. I remember being amazed at how real it all seemed - the vividness was so much better than my previous dreams.
After stabilizing, I figured I would try to summon up a DC, since I couldn't see anyone around.

I created a strong intent, that when I turned around a DC would be there. I was really happy when it succeeded, and I found an asian-looking girl behind me.
I asked how old she was, and she told me that she was five years old. I stood rather perplexed, as it was obvious she wasn't five. She was almost as tall as me.
I explained my confusion to her, and asked her how old she really was.
This time she said she was 23, which seemed very likely - she also explained that the previous answer was based on a joke, originally in Chinese but she had tried to transfer it to English.
I didn't really see how something like that would be funny in any language, but I started comparing it to the Japanese I know - which made me lose awareness of the surroundings and ultimately wake up.
    6. Lipstick Lucidity

      by , 11-22-2011 at 05:25 PM
I found myself in a large, elaborate bathroom. It seemed like it was the bathroom of a nightclub. There were cosmetic products everywhere, and there were a lot of other women primping and making themselves up. I am a sucker for lipstick, so I picked on up off the counter and began applying it. I began to feel frustrated, because this particular lipstick would not stay the same color for any length of time. This triggered the realization in me that lipstick generally does not change color by itself in waking life, so therefore I must be dreaming. I put the lipstick back down on the counter, and walked through the door.

Sure enough, I found myself in an entirely different setting, which supported my suspicion that I was in a dream. I was in a house that I did not recognize. I think I was in the living room. The TV was on, and what was displayed on the screen and coming through the speakers was completely nonsensical. I picked up the remote and pressed the off button, but nothing happened. Now quite convinced that I was dreaming, I decided to try a new trick. I had recently been thinking about creating my own doors and portals. I stood up on the coffee table so I could reach the ceiling. I licked the tip of my finger, and then traced a circle with it on the ceiling, concentrating on making it visible. An outline of a circle glowed faintly in blue. I put my palm in the center of the circle and pushed upwards. There was resistance at first, but then the traced circle of ceiling surrendered and dissolved. I hoisted myself up to have a look. It seemed that I had found the attic of the house. Not too interesting.

I got down off the coffee table and decided to try again on a wall. This time, I drew a door. Again, I pushed with my palms. The wall resisted at first, but then relented. I stuck my head through the new opening. Just another part of the house. Boring.

After playing around with attempting to make some objects in the house levitate, I decided I needed a change of scenery. I found the front door and left.

It was nighttime, and I was on a quiet street somewhere. As I walked, I messed around with various reality-bending tricks. After walking for some time, I felt the dream begin to fade a bit. To regain control, I began studying my hands intensely while doing some basic math and reciting some symbolic logic rules. 4x4=16; p>q, p, q; etc. I passed an older man with dark hair who looked at me strangely. I told him that I was just practicing my times tables and began to walk away. I had second thoughts, and decided to talk to him honestly instead. I asked him if he was real and also having a dream, or if he existed only in my dream. He looked puzzled for a minute and then answered that he wasn't sure. He showed me into a building with a recreational center aesthetic, and introduced me to some other dream characters. These people were sure that they were real and were having their own lucid experiences. We communally recited some multiplication tables to help strengthen our grip on the dream, then went our separate ways.

I decided again that I needed a change of scenery. I began to spin. When I stopped, I found myself in a small, cozy cottage somewhere. A kettle was boiling, and a stripy cat jumped into my lap. Then my alarm went off, and I woke up.
    7. The Night of Awareness

      by , 10-03-2011 at 12:53 PM
      The Night of Awareness.
I'm pretty proud! Last night I was very aware in my dreams, and some of them were very vivid. 1 time I was close to become lucid, 1 time I'm not sure about, and 1 time I became lucid! I'm going to tell you about them all 3!
      Thanks for reading!

      Lucid
      Non-Lucid
      Thoughts

      The Party:

This is the first dream. I'm not sure if it was a non-lucid or a lucid, and I can only remember the end of the dream. I really have no idea, but I'm just going to mark it with blue anyway.

I was talking with some people. It was in a big room, and there wasn't so much light. Somewhere I remember it as a party, but everything was just grey and black. They were drinking something, maybe a beer. I don't drink, and I walked away from them. I often talk to myself, and I said to myself: "The alarm is probably going to wake me up soon, if not it's weird" And then the alarm began to ring, and I woke up. Scary.

      Tennis Awareness:

This is the dream, where I almost became lucid. If I haven't woke up, I'm pretty sure that I would had became lucid.

I was standing in a room. Some DCs was playing tennis. The room was warm, and people were sweating. The floor was yellow, like the floor in the P.E room, and there was theese weird football things, and lines on the floor in different colours. One of the DCs, who I've never seen before, came over to me. She had her blonde hair in a horsetail, and was sweating. Suddently, the music turned off, and there wasn't one person who said anything, there was completely silence. She said to me: "Look at the colours. Look at the floor. Look at all the details. This could be a dream. Remember to do it." and then I woke up.

      The Sunny Tree:

This is the lucid one. I was lucid in a very short moment, but when I get lucid more often, I have to train to be there for longer time.
This was a kind of a nightmare, because I cried and wasn't so happy, and I think the dream is too personally. So I'm just going to post the end of the dream, the lucid-part. Okay..

...I walked out of the door, and out in the awesome weather. The sun shined on my skin, and I could feel the cold wind. I remembered Puffins SAT technique, and began to look around on the details. The tree was really green, and it was very beautiful. It almost danced in the wind. It was amazing. Suddently, it hitted me, that I didn't knew this place. And how did I get here?
"This could be a dream!" I said to myself. I tried to remember how I get there, but I couldn't. Yes, it was a dream. I was just about to do a RC, just to confirm that it really was....when I woke up.
    8. The Key (Aware DC's)

      by , 08-31-2011 at 01:52 PM
The dream starts with me inside a small house, I walk outside and look around noticing a couple of buildings
and a small ramp. The landscape is a dull grey that looks like it could go on forever.
Three figures emerge from one of the buildings.
The first figue is hunched and has that creepy look about him, while the other two (upon talking to them)
seem to be of the stupid sidekick types that obey the first figure.
The hunched figure appears to be a friendly man, he tells me I must help him escape.
I am slightly confused as to why he would ask such a thing (when he looks like he is free already
in the vast expanse of my mind). However I accept to help the man thinking there would be no
      harm in doing so.
After performing a number of tasks, I grow a suspicion for the man thinking why I need to
do so many actions that are supposedly ment to help him escape. He talks in a expectant and
exited manner the more I do, much like the way a villan plots his next evil scheme.
When he leads me to the top of one of the buildings, the man holds out a key, dangling it
over the side of the building looking at me curiously.
He says how thankful he is of me doing these things for him and that this will be the
last thing needed to help him escape. But then he starts to re-think the final task saying how
I am incapable of doing something drastic, like catching this key. For some reason I feel
compelled to say that I can (possibly out of stubborn pride). The man smirks and drops
the key off the side of the building. While reaching out towards the key I slip off the edge but manage to
grab it in time, landing on top of a car at the base of the building unharmed. The man shouts from the
bulding top "I knew it was too much of a challenge!". I reply "I did it!", he looks confused for a moment
before saying "I knew you could!" and reaching me at the bottom of the building near the car.
I look to my side and notice an object much like a plate of metal with a keyhole carved into it.
I ask the man what it is but his only reply is "Nothing to worry about, now " he stops when he notices
me closing my eyes before continuing "No! Don't wake up! Come back!!". I wake up from my dream.

During this dream I was semi-lucid, meaning I was aware I was
dreaming but felt a strange need to follow the dream plot.
    9. 6/4/11

      by , 06-04-2011 at 05:50 PM
      Dild

Lately I've been trying to have a dream where I notice my new dream sign, water, this was not what caused me to become lucid though, I just suddenly realized. My dream started with me drifting in this car around turns on a highway through a forest until I crashed and suddenly realized I'm dreaming. I realized I was right by a place that I had previously dreamt about earlier in the night which I found interesting. I noticed I still had these two types of medicine-a painkiller and something else- in my pocket from previous dreams as well, so I took all of them. Instated to feel horrible as I thought about my dream goals. I remembered and started calling out "dream guide" as I looked for my little brother. I knew that he would probably be in his room so I used passive control to find him in it. He was making his bed and I quickly announced that I had found my dream guide. He nonchalantly said that everyone is my dream guide as he continued to make his bed. This was disappointing but makes me want to talk to more DCs to get a real feel for their personalities. I felt loopy te whole time from the drugs and don't have that much fun.
    10. Strange Dream Character Intervention

      by , 03-25-2011 at 03:41 PM
      1. I'm looking after a classroom of children, but we are not in a classroom. Two of the boys get in a fight, and the smaller, scrawnier one ends up on top with his foot on the other boy's neck. He is stepping down as hard as he can, and I realize that he is trying to kill him. I am shocked at this behavior from such young children. I break up the fight, and I grab the scrawny boy and push him into the hallway. I scold him furiously but he seems to have no remorse for his actions. His head is covered by a tightly fitting glass dome.

      2. I'm looking at this magical board that is covered in numbers. I have to find the right numbers for a certain task. I am inside some sort of strange shop. I get the feeling that I work here. There is another woman nearby, and I think that she works in the shop as well. She reaches for something on one of the shelves, and pulls off another board like the one I am using. I try to warn her against using that board, because I remember that bad things have happened to others who have used it. Before I can fully explain to her the dangers, she passes out and hits the floor with a sickening thud. I run over to her and see that there is blood seeping from her ear.

      3. I'm skateboarding around town, and for once I can actually stay on the board.

      4. I'm lying on a floor, unable to get up or speak. There is a dream character standing over me, and he keeps saying things about how he wants to save me. I get the feeling that I am dead or dying, and that is why I am unable to communicate. The dream character says he wants to give me a healthy perspective on life and fix all the distortions in my thinking. He leans closer to me, and I notice that there is some words or symbols tattooed on his chest that have started to glow. They glow brighter and brighter as he comes closer to me until everything disappears in a flash of white.
    11. A fun and rather successful lucid

      by , 03-03-2011 at 09:39 PM
I remember becoming lucid in some strange house. I can't remember what triggered me. I felt the textures of the wall paper. I looked closely at my hands and was amazed at the realistic detail. A few simple math equations and reality checks later, and I was stable.

I explored the house a bit and attempted to shoot lightning from my finger, but then decided to spin. I ended up in some strange mall. I grabbed some new clothes and put them on. I have an idea when I'm in the change room that I want to ask one of the DCs that I saw in the store about their thoughts on God or something interesting like that, but when I got out of the change room, the dream had changed to some hockey arena with a game going on. One of the players who was out on a penalty was a bit scary and was trying to intimidate me, but the great thing about being lucid is that you aren't afraid at all. I hadn't managed lightening from my finger tip yet, but I was able to give him a little zap, which seemed to shut him up.

I started to spin I ended up in the backyard of my place, but it was different than normal. My friend was there and I didn't mention that I was dreaming for a while. Then I had an idea that maybe she was dreaming too and this was also part of her dream, so I asked her what other dreams she has had tonight so that I could talk to her about it when awake. Suddenly her eyes lit up and she said “this is a dream?!”. She didn't remember the other dreams she's had though. I remember her looking around and saying “what is this place? It's like home, but it's different". I said I didn't know, the dream world was strange. I pointed out that it is march in the waking world, but in the dream world it was clearly autumn. Also the backyard was much like ours, but nicer. Maybe it was what I wished it could be like or something. We talked about the dream for a while and I showed her how I can put my finger through my palm. I practiced shooting a lightning bolt through my finger a bit more. I couldn't do it at first, but then I got the hang of it.

She asked something about dream characters, and I said that you could talk to them easily while lucid. We walk across the street to the park and I point to all the people there. A few of them aren't even people, but strange creatures. We go up to one of these creatures and say hello. He is like a large potato with legs, covered in brown fur. He says he is all stuffed up and needs cold medicine.

We go back to the house to get some, but get distracted by trying to fly. I have problems at first, because every time I jump up and into the air, I just land on my stomach. I have to keep reassuring myself that it is a dream and I can fly with practice. Finally I'm able to let go and trust the dream, and I don't fall on my belly. I lift up and fly up to the trees in my back yard. My friend gets a hang of it too. The trees are frosty and covered in ice all of a sudden, and the sky is red and gray. After floating around for a bit I start to lose my lucidity and then I wake up.
    12. Screw that stim vid, I work alone

      by , 02-21-2011 at 09:21 PM
21st of February, after a dry spell of 6 days (dry spell referring to ZERO Dream Recall), I have finally managed to remember something. And it actually made sense, sort of, when I woke up. I could see the relationship between my mind and the dream I remembered, kinda cool (hey that's a first for me).

      Anyways: non-lucid, lucid, extra comment

Found myself on a different, slightly alien, but still Earthlike world (or worlds) with lush vegitation. As I changed between planets I also changed the type of star that planet was orbiting (Maybe for increased temperatures or in order to find alien life). At one point I cam to a planet orbiting a Red Giant where I found a man, standing in grass, embracing the sunlight. He, for reasons that are completely unknown to me, told me I did not need to embrace the sunlight like he was doing. He never mentioned why. HE mentions other travellers, other dreamers maybe. I soon wander off and the scenery slowly changes into a slightly altered version of a map I made in Halo: REACH's Forge Mode called Cortex. I seemed to find myself in a game of capture the flag, for I walked into a dish like region, located slighly to the right of the main complex when looking down its length towards the helipad. It is a region that I never built in into the level. There I found the flag. I picked it up and walked out of the dish before I dropped the flag onto the walkway and waited. (I guess I was either unsure about whether I should run or not or whether I was just waiting to lure some people out and kill them. Strangely enough, I encountered not the slightest trace of other players. No gunshots, no sounds and no announcer...).

I do hope I'll run into my own creations from waking life more often, it's quite awesome to actually be in the worlds you create rather then looking through a viewport which is your TV screen.
    13. Lucid Pigs

      by , 02-21-2011 at 08:28 PM
      1. I'm in an apartment that I don't recognize. I know that for some reason I have to get all the way across town very soon. I have a large beer that I am trying to finish as quickly as possible. There are large bowls of ramen noodles. Someone makes a toast and they say that it is for "the most boring man in the world".

      2. I'm going to class. I don't recognize the setting of the classroom. I sit down at a desk away from most of the people in the room, because I do not know anyone. We have to watch a video, but from where I am sitting, I can not see at all. Some of the dream characters notice this and beckon me over. I grab my bag and I sit at a table full of DCs. The instructor hands out some papers. I look up and notice that the instructor is my old boss. This confuses me for a minute. "But I was fired... Wasn't I?" I ask. He doesn't seem to know what I am talking about.
I look down at the papers that he has handed out. The heading of the text starts moving in a psychedelic way. This should have been a dream sign, but instead I think that I am having an acid flashback or something. I hear someone laugh, and I look up to see a girl about my own age with dark skin, dark hair, and grey eyes. She is smiling and laughing at me. "I know that look." She says and winks.
We talk for a while, and when I look back on it now, it seems like she was trying to hint to me that I was dreaming. She tells me that her name is Zenia or something similar. I also talked with a few other DCs but none of them are quite as memorable.
I go outside for a cigarette, even though I have quit in real life. I run into a friend of mine, and we wander for a bit and end up in some strange mall. I realize that we will probably get in trouble for smoking in the mall so I suggest that we head back the way we came. We pass by the class again and Zenia and her group of friends are still hanging out outside. I go over and say goodbye to them, then I run back to my friend and continue on our walk.
We turn down one street and come across a family of wild pigs, inexplicably living in the town. The babies are very cute. When they see us, they run out into the street, and my friend and I desperately try to save them from being hit by passing cars. I grab one and it struggles to get away from me, and even tries to bite me. I run and put it down on the other side of a nearby fence. As I am running around to try and save the others, I realize how absurd the whole situation is. I think that I must be dreaming. As soon as I have this revelation, the dream starts to fade. I get down on my knees and feel the ground. At first it feels like concrete, and I breathe a sigh of relief. Then it starts to feel soft like the sheets on my bed. I start to worry that I am waking up. Suddenly it feels like I am standing on my bed in the dark, holding the headboard for support. I can't figure out if this is really happening or not, or if this is part of the dream.

It was part of the dream, as I got rid of my headboard several weeks ago. Another lucid though! Even though I'm still having trouble making them last, the fact that they seem to be becoming more frequent is encouraging.
    14. I Dream I Can't Forget

This dream is one I had quite a while back. I remember it pretty clearly because it was so out of character for me. Here we go, short and sweet:

I was in a narrow field that was bordered by woods on both sides. (It's a real place, by the way. It's behind a friend of mine's house). It was dark but I could see everything clearly. Across the narrow field was the wooden part of a tractor's trailer and it was full of hay. (It's used for hayrides during Halloween time) Standing in front of the wagon is Tom Kaulitz, the guitarist of my favorite band. So I stroll up behind him...and begin violently beating him unconscious with a rusty shovel I don't know why I did it, but I did and I won't forget it XD

I feel awful for hurting him. So much so that when I have another lucid dream, I'll find him and apologize XD
    15. apartments and dorms to dream-character dissolve

Good morning everybody. This dream definitely ended around 1 AM. I had gone to bed at about 9:30 PM.

Although the end of this dream is very interesting (by my standards -- my dreams are tame compared to the others on this site!), and although it seems pretty spontaneous, I feel it was actually influenced by waking life -- namely by the part in Emiko's dream from yesterday where the boy tells her his name is Thomas.

      Dream #1

I was in an apartment. Some stuff here happened that I no longer remember.

A young, pretty, and somehow motherly woman then told me something about how the doors of the apartment were open. This meant something like I would now be able to get back into the apartment, whereas before, I think, once I'd gone out I couldn't come back. The woman asked me to go pick up some kind of food.

I left the apartment. It was night. The apartment was a two-story building with outdoor balconies connecting the second story apartments. The area around the apartment felt like it was under construction or like it had been neglected or destoyed.

I think I was now planning to ask my cousin for the food the young woman had requested. I crossed the street to where my cousin lived. The building was a "college dorm," but it actually looked like a military living space for in the desert. It was long, half-cylindrical, and painted green.

I was now inside. The space was like a small supply warehouse. The floors were concrete. The space was lit by lamps hanging from the ceiling. There were a lot of young men around. They were largely congregating toward the back of this structure, where there was a big TV.

This was the first day of something like college or an extended trip that these guys were taking during college. The guys had all just settled into their dorms.

Along the left and right walls were doorways leading to a bedroom. Each boy had a bedroom. Beside each doorway was a small kitchenette and a small washer-dryer combo. I had a hard time telling whether each boy had his own kitchenette, washer, and dryer, or whether two rooms each shared one set. I either couldn't tell or didn't wonder where the bathrooms were.

I knew that I also had a room here. But I figured I'd probably continue living in the apartment. The boys all seemed cool. But I had a feeling that if I lived around them too long, I'd attract their bad attention and make a bad situation for myself.

I wondered if I had food of my own in the kitchenette that belonged to me. But I didn't concern myself with checking. I knew I'd come here to find my cousin.

I found my cousin at the back of the structure, near the TV. He may have looked like a kid. We spoke for a little while. We were then met by a boy my cousin introduced me to as C, a boy from my cousin's neighborhood. C, who had been short, thin, and pale as a kid, was now tall, tan, and muscular. I was surprised to find myself attracted to him.

I heard some noise in waking life that began to wake me from my dream.

But I still lay in a dream state. I had a vision of three figures. They looked like "little girl in dress" figures cut out of felt and made to interlock. One figure was black; one, grey; and one, white.

I very sensibly heard the figures speaking. They spoke in male and female voices. They were talking about how they had been dream characters but how, now that the dream was ending, they were going back to some place where they spent the rest of their time.

They were speaking with each other in a joking, familiar tone about the stuff they had shown me during my dream. One of the female voices addressed another character as David. The name David affected me for a number of reasons, which I was very aware of, having to do with both family members and big world events that had happened when I was young.

I had the understanding that these characters were actually elements of my personality, and that at this moment they were all autonomous to interact with each other, apart from me. It was kind of like being able to look in from the outside on a schizophrenic episode, which kind of worried me.

I could now sense the characters sinking away somewhere, possibly into the base of my brain, or the very top of the back of my neck.

I now had a beautiful hypnagogic vision: a black background filled with twirling squares and circles, curtains full, of purple, scale-like shapes. This vision buzzed around for a while, then faded away into waking life altogether.
