"I'll Take My Chances with the Zombies..."

Zombies were attacking. At first, I was in an unfamiliar home, with some chick. I know that we were friends, at least, but I don't know if there was anything else going on between us. Without warning, zombies began breaking into the house, and I grabbed the girl by the hand and tried to help her escape, while she was busy losing her mind about the situation. It took us some time to find an exit that wasn't overrun with the undead, and we eventually made our way to the garage. Immediately, I started thumbing around for any tools I could use as weapons. I don't remember what I actually grabbed (if anything), but we were soon trying to force our way out of the garage and passed the growing mass of zombies that were coming up the driveway. During the scuffle, one of the zombies had gotten a hold of my arm, raking its fingernails across my flesh and tearing open the smallest of gashes. It was just a tiny scrape, and I didn't really think anything of it.

We continued fighting our way through the streets, and it seemed like the zombies were constantly multiplying, the longer we stayed alive. Dozens turned into hundreds. Hundreds seemed to turn into thousands. By now, my wound had visibly worsened, and I could feel an intense throbbing, slowly creeping its way up my arm. I knew that I had been infected, but I wasn't about to just rollover and let myself succumb. The longer we ran, the more that this girl seemed to be going crazy. She kept clinging to me, begging me not to leave her - even though I made no implication that I was doing so. Then, she started actually coming onto me. She began talking about how we were like the last 2 humans left, and she wanted me to be with her forever, and be her 'one and only.' (She continuously used that exact phrase.) At first, it was just annoying, but then it really began to freak me out. After a while, she could see that I was becoming more stand-off-ish, and she was becoming even more clingy. The clingier and crazier she got, the more I just wanted to get the hell away from her. Soon, it was like she became just as much a threat to me as the zombies, and I began running and hiding from her as well, while she tenaciously tried to hunt me down, attempting to make me want her.

The last few moments of the dream that I remember, were when I was coming to a T-junction of two city streets. In front of me, there was a horde of zombies walking in my direction. Turning to the left, I could see another large group of them, coming up the perpendicular street. Then, looking back the way I had come, the street was filled with the zombies that I had been chasing me for the last couple of blocks. I was surrounded, and I was running out of concrete, between myself and the approaching hordes. Practically out of options, and feeling the onset of panic, it finally hit me. I was dreaming! Immediately, relieved, I launched myself into the air and flew up to the top of one of the tall buildings nearby. Just when I looked back down to the zombie-filled streets below, I woke up.

Dream Two
"Tonight, We Dine in Hell"

The only thing I remember was that I was in a truck accident, though I don't believe I was driving. Another guy and I actually had to lift this damaged truck up off of a female figure, whom we had struck and was stuck in the undercarriage. I had some vague awareness of the previous (dream) situation with the zombies, and I was convinced that we had simply hit a zombie, but the other guy obviously wasn't, so I helped him raise the tail end of the vehicle, which was surprisingly lightweight. I was surprised to see a young (human) woman, tangled up in the bottom of the truck; slightly battered and bruised, but actually not looking half bad, for having just been run over by a pick-up.

After removing the woman from the undercarriage, we began to walk with her down the dark, deserted stretch of road. After some time, this enormous RV pulled up behind us, apparently offering us a ride. A wholesome-looking family beckoned us inside, and we happily accepted. However, the moment we got on board this mammoth vehicle, we were greeted with the business end of a double-barreled shotgun. An old, conservative looking man was behind the trigger, and his face was stern, yet calm. There was a young boy standing beside him, and they - and a couple more members of the family, looked us over for a moment. Then, the man suddenly said something like "looks like you joined us just in time. We were just about to eat dinner..." he then motioned to the little boy, never taking the gun off of us. He said that the little boy was their hostage, that they were about to eat him, and that we were either going to partake in the meal, or he was going to kill us all, right then and there.

The last thing I remember is doing my best to stall him with some nervous banter, while frantically trying to get enough awareness of my surroundings to devise a way to get us the hell out of there.

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I had a space shuttle travel for some reason I do not recall. I landed in a planet that was deserted. I did not know what I was going to do, as I was alone, in the middle of nowhere and without supplies.

I passed out and awoke in a hotel. It was a small room and it was sunny out. I knew that I was still not in planet Earth. I was very excited about being in a different planet that looked alike Earth. I pulled my phone and I was surprised it worked. I was so amazed that Verizon Wireless had coverage in a remote planet.

I started to investigate this planet. The inhabitants were humans as well, but slightly shorter. I entered inside a pub and wanted to get a drink, but they did not want my cash.

I started to wonder about this planet, how did I get here and its history if any. I then wanted to call a friend and share about it. Suddenly, a huge storm started to happen. The sky got very dark and it rained very intensily. In matter of seconds, the rain stopped. The sky was blue and very sunny once more.

I drove a car I had access to and parket in a non pavimented area. My car as well as other cars would move backwards even on park. I was told that that section of the planet had small quakes constantly, so I decided to park further ahead.

As soon as I did, I started to wonder how the roads, freeways and other stuff were in this planet. I saw a taxi driver and planned in asking him to drive me to a museum and check it out.

I realized I was in a dream and wanted to find out more.

I asked the cab driver about the planet. He told me that the planet was called Namusiki. He explained to me that the planet was located in a paralell dimension, right behind Earth.

He told me that it was a very small planet, with a day of 4 hours and a night of 3. As he shared this with me, the sunny day changed within seconds into night. The taxi driver shared with me also about the weather of the planet and invited me to come visit other time. A little later, I woke up.
3. The Night of Awareness

by , 10-03-2011 at 12:53 PM
The Night of Awareness.
I'm pretty proud! Last night I was very aware in my dreams, and some of them were very vivid. 1 time I was close to become lucid, 1 time I'm not sure about, and 1 time I became lucid! I'm going to tell you about them all 3!
Thanks for reading!

Lucid
Non-Lucid
Thoughts

The Party:

This is the first dream. I'm not sure if it was a non-lucid or a lucid, and I can only remember the end of the dream. I really have no idea, but I'm just going to mark it with blue anyway.

I was talking with some people. It was in a big room, and there wasn't so much light. Somewhere I remember it as a party, but everything was just grey and black. They were drinking something, maybe a beer. I don't drink, and I walked away from them. I often talk to myself, and I said to myself: "The alarm is probably going to wake me up soon, if not it's weird" And then the alarm began to ring, and I woke up. Scary.

Tennis Awareness:

This is the dream, where I almost became lucid. If I haven't woke up, I'm pretty sure that I would had became lucid.

I was standing in a room. Some DCs was playing tennis. The room was warm, and people were sweating. The floor was yellow, like the floor in the P.E room, and there was theese weird football things, and lines on the floor in different colours. One of the DCs, who I've never seen before, came over to me. She had her blonde hair in a horsetail, and was sweating. Suddently, the music turned off, and there wasn't one person who said anything, there was completely silence. She said to me: "Look at the colours. Look at the floor. Look at all the details. This could be a dream. Remember to do it." and then I woke up.

The Sunny Tree:

This is the lucid one. I was lucid in a very short moment, but when I get lucid more often, I have to train to be there for longer time.
This was a kind of a nightmare, because I cried and wasn't so happy, and I think the dream is too personally. So I'm just going to post the end of the dream, the lucid-part. Okay..

...I walked out of the door, and out in the awesome weather. The sun shined on my skin, and I could feel the cold wind. I remembered Puffins SAT technique, and began to look around on the details. The tree was really green, and it was very beautiful. It almost danced in the wind. It was amazing. Suddently, it hitted me, that I didn't knew this place. And how did I get here?
"This could be a dream!" I said to myself. I tried to remember how I get there, but I couldn't. Yes, it was a dream. I was just about to do a RC, just to confirm that it really was....when I woke up.
4. 09/26/2011 - "Lucid Juggernaut", Fragment

09/26/2011
Dream One:
"Lucid Juggernaut"

The very first thing I remember is sitting on a couch, during the day, with a few friends. Without warning, a thunderous banging noise came at the front door. Someone apparently had a battering ram and was trying to bust into the house, while we were inside. Immediately, we all scrambled, taking up our guns and preparing for a firefight. However, with the loud banging becoming more intense, some of us were able to see just how many people were out there...and how many guns they had. We were not about to stick around and be slaughtered, so we all bolted out the back door, scrambling through the neighborhood and catching faint glimpses of hundreds of these heavily-armed thugs, raiding all of the houses in the neighborhood. We were being fleshed out, and our territories were being seized by this faction.

Before we were able to make it out of the neighborhood, we were cornered by a patch of these thugs. I don't believe we had our guns anymore, and they ended up robbing us for everything we had in our pockets. We could do nothing but stand there and fume over how we were being humiliated by these goons, and how helpless we were. After cracking a few jokes, they sent us on our way. However, after a few short steps, I finally realized how crazy this situation was. I figured out that I was dreaming, and I couldn't be more ready for revenge.

I turned around, mid-pace, and began walking back toward the thugs, whom had just robbed us. I didn't care how I did it, (or that it really didn't matter, because this was just a dream), but I was about to get our damn stuff back! Lol. They all watched me as I approached, waving my hands back in my direction, and yelling at the armed men to bring it on. Accepting the invitation, they all started firing at me, simultaneously. At first, I began to let the bullets just slam into me, while I continued walking toward them. I had to clentch my fists and brace forward, because they bullets were actually a bit painful, but I tried to just push the sensation out of my mind, while I stalked twoard the men. When it finally became too uncomfortable, I took to catching most of the bullets in my hands, which also stung, but was still effective. However, the men just continued firing, and even with a good level of lucidity, it was beginning to get a little overwhelming. I was still having a good time, though, watching them sh!t bricks when they saw how they couldn't really stop me with all that firepower.

An idea came to mind. Focusing my intention to use a little telekinesis, I brought my hands in front of me, fingers curled toward on another, as if I were palming a basketball. With the men continuing to fire away at me, I drew all of my attention to the empty space between my hands, and 'willed' all of the bullets to be drawn to this void. The bullets immediately ceased hitting me, and I could literally see them being collected, in this empty space between my hands, as if there were a powerful, invisible magnet floating there. (I had gotten the idea from the Mech Suit scene, in the movie District 9, where the Mech used some sort of technology to catch the bullets in mid air, and collect them into one, floating spot.) Then, once I had a good mass of bullet heads collected in this space, the men finally stopped shooting. They stared at the hovering bullets with awe, and were obviously loss for words. Smiling, I quickly flung my hands out in the direction of the gunmen, launching the spent bullets out of the space between my palms, like buckshot from a gun (which is also what the Mech did, with the bullet tips, in the movie). It was just awesome, and I'm surprised it worked, so effortlessly. The first wave of thugs dropped like stones, and more moved in from around the neighborhood. I basically ripped through them all, using their own weapons against them, but eventually losing lucidity. I was able to keep the control for a bit, but the bullets began to take their toll on me, and I could feel myself dying. Still trying to fight through the sensation of having my energy drained from me, I eventually had to succumb. I ended up dying in the street, seeing myself in the third person as a female friend from my group clutched me and cried.

(There was a strange transition here, that might have been a completely different dream, where some girl, that might have been the same one, was going down on me in a public place. I remember being lucid here, for a moment, but still a little embarassed that people were watching us and walking right by us, even though I knew they were DC's.)

The dream then transitioned again (or there is just a lot I am missing), and I was now in some scenario where I believe I was a police offer. I had lost my lucidity again (but, again, I don't feel like it was a separate dream). My female companion from earlier was still with me, and she was acting as my 'partner'. We were in some similar situation to what had happened back in the neighborhood, in that we'd set up some kind of presence in this huge, multi-level office building, but were run out of it by this larger faction. This time it was more of a shadow organization with lots of money, modern security, and lots more firepower than even the thugs from earlier.

Having failed our first confrontation with these new gunmen, I remember us walking back out toward the parking lot, pissed off at having not been able to bring the group down. Once again, just on the verge of retreat, I realized I was dreaming once again. My disappointment instantly turned to mischeivous glee. Without saying another word, I reached into an open trunk and grabbed a handgun and immediately began to storm my way back into the tall office building, and up the stairs, toward where my squad had just been forced out of. I don't remember much of the battle, but it went pretty much like my rampage through the neighborhood, with guys emptying clips into me, and me just refusing to go down. I remember a specific corridor, where I tried shooting my gun, but it was just like a BB gun, and not doing any damage. Annoyed with this, I walked toward the nearest shooter - allowing his bullets to rip into me, on the way - and proceeded to try to pistol whip him and the guy next to him. Unfortunately, I got that 'sluggish' effect, and was not able to get any power behind my swings. The more intense the fighting got, the more I could feel my lucidity slipping in and out. I remained lucid enough to remember that I had died, during the last rampage, and I became anxious about whether or not this would happen to me again, now. I was able to survive this time, though, keeping myself calm instead of allowing the energy-draining sensation to creep back into me. Once I was done having my fun, I walked back down to the rest of my team, completely unharmed, but still riddled with bullet holes and bleeding from every inch of my body.

(There was another transition after this, which might have been a different dream, but I don't really feel like it was. It didn't really tie in with the theme from the previous, though, so I will just label it as a separate fragment, even though I'm admittedly not sure whether it was a seperate fragment, or just a continuation of the dream.)

Dream Fragment Two
I was with JH, and we were leaving my house (which was actually the house where the ex and I used to live, years ago). My mom had just come home (though she didn't actually live in that house with us, in waking life), and I had to break away to speak to her for a moment. All I can remember about talking to her was catching her on the front porch, and seeing that she was wearing a very nice, red dress, and really long hair.
5. Tash.

by , 10-02-2011 at 09:40 AM
Okay, this was my dream last night.

Morgan, Rubee, Samantha and I were at this sort of building. I didn't know the use of it. This woman came over to us, and spoke to me. I didn't know who she was, but she said "I remember waiting here for you and her,". Then, I remembered it was a hospital, and this was where me and my ex-girlfriend Tash used to meet. Then, I saw in the carpark (directly oppsite where I was sitting, with a glass door in-between) Tash sort of waving. I ran to her, and hugged her. I remember I couldn't stand properly, and sort of kept losing balance and falling back, as if we were sort of wrestling. Tash looked a lot fatter than her usual skinny self. Then, we walked around this garden bit (I think it was my back garden). Suddenly, we were walking back along Urraween Road. The same road the hospital and my school is on. She said something about her stepmum. Then I saw my Dad's car, (not the one he has in real life), and I hugged Tash goodbye and ran to, what I think was my school. When I went into the building, it turned out to be some fast food restaurant. Then, my friend Samantha was yelling they were locked on the inside. I went around the back, and saw a guy there talking amongst each other. I don't remember what they were talking about, but it was something I took an interest in. Then, I think the door opened, and we ended up on this island boat thing. I really don't remember. Then, I woke up.

Note to self: The man at the end, was the same man in the drivers license your dad found. Tash's grandma looked different.
6. Exploration 01: Before I Was a Lucid Dreamer

by , 10-02-2011 at 04:11 AM
Dream journals make me uncomfortable. Anytime I've ever tried to write down my dreams, and I've tried a lot, it always seems to diminish the true importance of the dream. I'm sure everyone here has experienced this. So, until I get comfortable enough to start putting my dreams on here, I'm going to write a few entries about my experience with lucid dreaming. This is kind of important anyway, because in order to understand any dreams I post, you kind of have to know my dreams have evolved.

Before I could lucid dream, I had a lot of nightmares. The very first dream I remember having (I think I was about four) was a nightmare:

I walked into a dark cave. In its belly was a massive snake with glowing red eyes, who (of course) could talk.

From then on, my dreams mainly consisted of nightmares. Some of them are slightly hilarious looking back:

A group of teenage boys with tattoos watched and laughed as a fried chicken leg chased me down and tried to eat me.

And some of them are still seriously disturbing:

I was laying in my bed (I was probably five at this point) playing with my favorite Lamb Chop doll. (This doll existed in real life.) It was one of those toys that had the pull-string on the back which you could pull and it would say something like "I love you!" or "Let's be friends!". In the dream, I was pulling on this string, giggling with delight when the doll said "There's a man at your window". I looked up and there was the dark silhouette of a man standing right outside.

But this was nothing compared to what would come later. When I was about six, my parents got me some bunk beds. I didn't have any siblings, so I got to have the bunk bed all to myself. (I would like to clarify, because I definitely don't want anyone to get the wrong impression, that my parents were very poor and I was definitely not given everything I wanted. This was just one of those special presents my parents saved up for.) Being a kid, I was excited to sleep on the top bunk. So I did, for several weeks. Until one day I finally decided to sleep on the bottom bunk. That night I had a dream that topped them all:

I was in a field of burning debris. Looking back, it resembled what we suspect a nuclear fallout would look like. I am running for my life, because I am being chased by a panther. I always instinctively knew it was a panther, even though I was too afraid to stop running or to look back.

Being a superstitious child, I refused to sleep on the bottom bunk again for a long time. Sometimes I would try to be brave (at the behest of my parents) and I would sleep on the bottom bunk again, only to have the same exact dream as before. I was convinced that there was something unlucky about sleeping on the bottom bunk. I realize now that I was actually beginning to control my dreams without realizing it. I had convinced myself that sleeping on the bottom bunk would give me this dream, and it did.

Then one day I overheard my dad telling my mother that he heard something interesting on the radio. If you are having a dream that you are being chased by something, you should simply turn around and ask the thing that is chasing you why it is chasing you in the first place! My parents laughed about this and said something along the lines of "What idiots! You can't just do that in a dream!". But that night, I crept into the bottom bunk without telling my parents (I didn't want to make a big deal of it) and this is what I dreamt:

I was back in the field of debris being chased by the panther. But this time I stopped running immediately and turned around to face the panther. She was beautiful. She stopped immediately and sat down, looking at me curiously. I asked her why she was chasing me. She smiled and said "Ah, you listened to your parents. Good," and sleekly ran away.

I immediately woke up. I can't even begin to explain my excitement. I'm sure I told my parents what happened, but I'm pretty sure they just patted me on the head and told me to go play outside or something. But everything about my life changed from that night. I had a secret super power.
7. 38th shared Dreaming attempt - Floating head

by , 10-01-2011 at 06:32 PM (International Oneironaut Shared Dreaming Journal)
Hotel California...

I get a false awakening, I'm so tired I start to fall asleep standing up - I then think that this is a bit strange and do an RC,my usual method I can't do because it is too dark to see anything so I try holding my nose - but find I CAN'T breath, although I decide that this is really not a true way of doing an RC (for me) because it has failed many times in the past, but then I sorta just know that it's a dream and walk out of the bedroom. In the hallway it is still very dark (the dreams are only just beginning to form) so I shout 'luminos' to try and brighten the place up - all I get is a sputter of light and then darkness. So I walk downstairs and out of the front door into...

What looks like a hotel (a mostly dark brown wooden interior), I know I need to get to Chichen Itza but forget what the best method to do so would be. I find the skeleton key in my pocket (which I found last week in my dream) and walk around trying to find a closed door to open (with the skeleton key) and use as a portal to get to Chichen Itza - I'm walking around what looks like the outside of the hotel - I expect to see a door - and do, lots of them - but all of them have windows in them so that I can see what's on the other side - and if I can see what's on the other side I can't get it to work like a portal (damn dream - I ve done this to myself before - or is it me, I don't know) SO then I decide to get out of the hotel and hotel grounds and fly to Chichen Itza. So I walk through the hotel, trying to search for the entrance, I walk past a woman behind a desk (I think she is wearing blue and is the receptionist) and walk into a revolving door - but the compatment to go into is very small and tight and just goes round and round and round and doesn't let you go out - DAMN! Then I wake

(so the hotel wasn't in California but much like THE hotel California from the song!)

Build it and they will come

I'm falling asleep but very aware, this turns into a DIELD. I can see a whole mountain range scenary, I'm thinking about Chichen Itza and how I need to see that, and then decide to CHANGE it into Chichen Itza, I see my hand - a giant ghost like hand hovering over the scenery - I find that I am able to move it - shaping and forming the scenery. So first of all I decide to try and make the central mountain range into a pyramid shape - but find this much more tricky than I first thought, then the dream starts to take control and I decide on using a pyramid shape from zbrush computer program as a good basis, and then it fades and changes or I wake.

Wake up!
I'm aware that I'm dreaming (3rd time in the night - woot!) and am with my wife - I try to tell her that she is too, I pull and extreme face, first of all I pull my cheeks far apart with my fingers, and then I pull my jaw back, breaking it and pulling it into my chest - all so that she would remember the dream when she woke. The weird thing is that as I'm pulling these faces I see myself in the third person - behind my head - so I have no idea what these faces look like (though I was trying to go for that part in the film Beetlejuice when the two main characters pull there faces into ghoulish shapes)
I then decide that I need to get to Chichen Itza - so I fly up into the sky. The scenery is amazing, I am so high and travelling so fast, I can see so much countryside and forest beneath me, hills and rivers and trees- it looks so beautiful - but before I get anywhere I wake. ARGH!!
8. 4th Lucid and Flying

by , 10-01-2011 at 02:51 PM
I was at my grandparents house. We have some cousins from Ireland over. One of the cousins made a bunch of deserts. One of them was this blueberry cheescake. While we were having them my dad was calling me names and putting me down. So now Im walking home. I'm on the side of the road and next to me there is an empty lot. It is full of weeds and stuff. I don't know what exactly triggered it but I did a nose reality check. I could breathe. So I decided to fly but I fell. I felt in my pocket for this blue sticker that gives me flying
powers. It was in my pocket. I put it on but it fell
off. I could fly though! I flew to my school to try to find my friends. I land in the back of my school. The whole layout is different. I decide to walk around to the front. So as I'm walking I'm rubbing my hands together stabilising the dream. As I walk by this one could from school last year was walking by and started laughing at what I was doing. I walk up to the door of the cafeteria. There are two of them. I opened the door thinking this room will be loud. I open the door and it is dead silent. Everyone in there is looking at me. I start to run to the other side of the cafeteria just because of how creepy it was. I get to the front of the school. I see one of my friends there. She is alone. I start to hang out with her then some more of my friends come by. It's Payton and some other guy. I tell them I can make them fly. Payton said it reminded him of some other dream he had a while back, which made me think of dream sharing. He said it was cool.

I know I'm missing a ton of details but this is all I remember pretty much

had an unexpected lucid dream(DILD).

I was in my hometown talking to my brother. as I walked across the street I saw a white car driving by. I started to run across the street to hurry and get out of the way. after crossing I noticed the white car was trying to chase me. I didnt know why but the two guys inside were mad at me. they were about to drive onto the sidewalk when they got out and chased me by foot. I turned the corner and noticed a good hiding spot. I hid behind a pillar and was inside the display stand for one of the stores. my brother followed me and stood infront of the display looking for me. the 2 people chasing me also stopped and couldn't find me. as I got anxious I realized i was just in a dream. but I wasn't as enthusiastic as usual when I realize im dreaming. I was more concerned with taking control. so i told myself the 2 people would leave(and they did). I stepped out of the display and walked back around the corner. as I turned the corner, i was teleported to a house(supposedly mine, but much different). my 2 brothers were there and I saaw my mom in the kitchen. I tried using my voice to command people. I said something to my brother and he left. I asked my mom to leave and buy me something, but she said she had a headache. I sighed and got impatient and looked her in the eyes and said "you feel better now". she was healed and left. I walked away into the house ready to think up something fun to do while lucid, but awoke.

10. First Lucid

by , 09-29-2011 at 06:15 PM
On this date, September 29, 2011, I had a Lucid Dream!

The dream began with I and my mother standing near the front door in our apartment. It was late at night and somebody had knocked at the door, (in real life my mother would NEVER open the door to a stranger past sundown), but in the dream she swung it open! I thought to myself, "That's weird, why is she opening the door?" Standing on the other side was a carbon copy of my mother! Only this one was angry and zombie-monster like. It ran toward me and to defend myself I grabbed it's neck and squeezed hard. It seemed to disappear, but it wasn't attacking me anymore. I looked at the door and there was another zombie mom coming in. I looked outside into the hallway and there were more zombie mothers. Another dozen, at least! Lumbering up the steps toward us. I said to myself in the dream, "Oh my god, this is a dream!". The moment I realized I was dreaming, I got a funny feeling like something was going to happen and I remembered what this site said. If I get too excited I'll loose the lucidity. So, I stopped took a second to relax and decided to explore this new environment!

Since the front door was being invaded by zombie like carbon copies of my mother, I decided to go out the balcony and down our fire escape to get outside. I said again, "This is a dream" and my mother (the actual one!) replied with "Oh course it's a dream. Everything is a dream." Now, when I heard that I thought she meant everything in reality was a dream (later when I woke up I figured she meant everything I was seeing then was a dream). It gave me slight pause, but not enough to stop me from seeing and exploring some dream world. I walked out the glass door to our balcony and was ready to climb down the ladder to the ground, but before I did I lowered down a second ladder to prop against the fire escape ladder. I have no idea why I did this. (I remember thinking of DV again and remembering something I read the night before about jumping off of balconies to fly, but was afraid if I fell, I'd wake up) So, perhaps in my lucid mind, the ladder was safer and two was even better! I crawled down the ladders and got to the ground outside. Someone was walking down the sidewalk and it was Alton Brown from Food Network (I know WTF?!) He went and told the office I was using the fire escape so I decided to put the second ladder on the balcony. I was going to ride my bicycle around dream land (which in real life would have been locked to the base of the fire escape, but I decided to walk and take it slow) my bicycle wasn't there anyway. The dreamscape shifted and I was at my old apartment complex, but still outside. I looked up to the sky as I walked down the parking lot and saw this awesome sky of night, but not a normal night sky. It was black with shades of blue and gray. Like a painting. The trees almost fluorescent green. The contrast mystical. The breeze was picking up and I could FEEL the breeze. The scenery was clear and panoramic. I spread my arms out and said, "This is great, I'm in a dream!". I looked around and decided to see if I could fly. I was a little apprehensive because I didn't want to blow it. I started moving my arms around and lifted my feet off the ground. I was floating! I got about as high as the roof line of a near by pick-up truck. The feeling inside is not explainable. I came back down gracefully. I was looking around for something to do or someone to talk to (I had at least two separate thoughts to find a women to have sex with, but I was more interested in exploring the scene) but there were no people around. The scene transitioned again and I was back in our apartment, back where I started. Consciousness and clarity seemingly gone. I was standing in front of the glass door, looking out on the balcony at a bowl of apples blowing around, thinking they were to heavy to move like that from the wind. My mother was sitting nearby and I was talking to her. I believe I had just turned on the computer to get on DV and was waiting for the computer to gear-up.

My eyes popped open and I was awake. I laid there for a moment to gather my thoughts and didn't move. I didn't notice I was coming out of SP. I counted my fingers and tried to push my finger through my palm and concluded I was actually awake. At no time during the dream did I perform a RC. I rolled over to get my journal and looked at the clock. It was about 4:45am. I had gone to bed a little before 11:00pm. I wrote down my dream and remembered the one I had before the LD. My LD seemed to last much longer than a regular dream.

I didn't fall asleep until about 7:00am. I kept tossing and turning and at least twice I felt like I was entering another dream which was waking me up. The time that passed felt more like 30 minutes than two hours. It seemed to slow. I had two more dreams before getting up at 8:00am.

It was a very active night. All inside my head
11. I become Zeus within a dream and went Trick or Treat

I become Zeus within a dream and went Trick or Treat (WILD)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was going with Ana in a car trip. She was going to drive as I felt very tired. It was getting dark, so I got comfortable in my car and tried to fall asleep.

I found myself in a small town and realized that since I went to sleep in the car, I was dreaming (funny, accepting the reality of a dream, but not realized I went to sleep in a dream) I was in front of a big mountain. Such mountain was filled by houses and stores. I took a small flight to make my dream crystal clear and immediately recalled the ToTM.

I thought about transforming again into God Phoenix, but I realized that was a Roman God and not a Greek one. I decided to aim for Zeus. I started to visualize lighting bolts sparkling within my hands. Soon, I started to grow. My arms and chest became very muscular and I grew up in size. I suddenly had a huge lighting bolt in my hand. A voice told me I was Zeus and I owned the Master Bolt.

I figured with the basic done, I needed a costumer, but again, as it was a dream, I really did not care about it. I flew to one of the homes on the mountain and knocked the door requested trick or treat.
A kid opened the door and gave me a small purple ball. I tasted it. It was like strawberries.

With both task done, I decided to try to project, but suddenly I felt my dream body moving abruptly.

I woke up in the car. We had an accident and the dream turned third person. My parents where there and they were talking with my wife. She was freaking out due the accident. I tried to ask her what happened, but she was too nervous to talk.
A little after, I woke up for real.
12. Lucid Adventures: Chair Sorting, Almost Waking and DC Chatting

Date: 29/10/11
Time: ~9am
Memory Clarity: 8/10

My IRL friend, Dean and I were just finished inflitrating some kind of compound. We came out of the vents of the building into the main interior, which was a school. There were students there, packing up the chairs and tables as it was the end of the year. I observe this happening, when suddenly I feel myself begin to wake up - I was beginning to feel my real-life body. I focused extremely hard on maintaining the dream and lo and behold, it worked! The dream resumed, with the exact same scene, except because of the almost awakening I was now lucid.

I was fairly excited, and turned to Dean to tell him but he wasn't there, so I made him walk through the doorway and told him 'Hey Dean, we're in a lucid dream!' Dean replies 'A history dream!?' and runs off somewhere. I simply looked around the area, and saw a DC who I'm pretty sure was a substitute teacher from my school. She and another student approached me, and we made small talk about dreams, which I can't remember exactly, but the teacher said, 'If you're in a dream, why aren't you doing more crazy things,' to which I replied 'I just feel like relaxing.' And it was relaxing - I observed the surroundings and noticed how real it seemed. Soon after the dream collapsed.

I'm fairly proud of this; it's been a while since my last lucid. This is the first time I've ever been able to retain the dream when about to awake, which was cool too. I suppose that makes it a DEILD?
13. Entry 1 - "A fresh start"

by , 09-28-2011 at 03:12 PM (Journey Into Polarity's Mind)
I'm in my apartment. It's day outside and sunlight is coming through the windows and lighting the whole room I'm in. I don't quite remember what I was doing; the computer wasn't on and I was probably doing my homeworks. Over the flow of the dream, I wonder if I'm awake or dreaming - eventually, at that point, I notice that the hand I had on the desk didn't have the ring-finger and the little finger (or, even better, most of the finger was amputated).
"Is it a dream? ...Yes, it is" - I get up and take a look around: I can feel the different feeling of the landscape, it isn't anything like the physical plane. It also feels a lot different from the other lucid dreams because, this time, I was holding complete control over the dream...
I think that I should try something that I planned to do: a shared dream. I focus my energies on the wardrobe, expecting to create a portal through it. I wait a few seconds before opening the wardrobe door, but there's nothing in it but some clothes. So I think that I should do something else than creating a portal: I try to summon my personal weapon, a green electric whip, but I don't even succeed in that. I try to summon fire to burn the floor, and still nothing.

I head out by the main door and all I see around me is unknown buildings. "I'm not supposed to be here, where am I? This isn't my city." - Indeed, the city looked a lot like Chinatown. There were very narrow streets, extending between shops and poor apartments. It's night. The shop signs are the only source of lighting.
I turn left to the first alley, then the world changes around me again.

It's still night. My level of awareness is slowly dropping. I'm in an arena, it looks quite ancient and arcane. There are demons approaching from every direction. They have got purple skin and an armor covering their heads, shoulders and legs. They're led by a bigger, flying demon. It's got a dark armor covering its whole body and it's got devil horns.
As they surround me and they're about to attack me, I jump high in air and fly away. The landscape is very big: it's an huge dark purple wasteland with a purple sky and purple lightnings.

I don't recall anything else.

14. First Day of SAT

First Day of SAT: (DILD)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

My recall is still poor, so I don't remember the start of this dream.

I'm walking with my friends in the lobby of my school. I stop walking, then suddenly realize that everything is kind of blurry. I think "Wait, who the hell were those people? I don't even know them...". I think that I am dreaming, so I quickly do the nose plug test, but I do it too quickly to actually tell if it worked. Just to make sure I am actually dreaming, I stare at my left hand, then try to force my right through. My hand slips right through it and I get extremely excited.

I wake up because I was too excited. I am so surprised that this happened. I only read about SAT for the first time yesterday- then only practiced it 3-5 times. Well, looks like I found myself a new method (I just have to work on dream control and controlling my excitement.

15. Fade Away

by , 09-27-2011 at 05:12 AM
It was on a cold and misty morning. I can see a few people in my kitchen talking and enjoying their conversations. Though, I had no clue who these people were. I walked in front of them cautiously and then I see something coming from behind one of the girls. It was a person wearing a white mask of a cursed ghost. I remember the fear but I can also remember being lucid. And because of that, I looked at the person under the mask with courage. Now, I walk outside to search for things that could interest me. It was messy in the backyard and I saw a few people hanging around a tree in the back. But for some strange reason, I felt depressed. I then walked over to the right of the house and stood there for a minute. I performed a few actions. First, I tried to see if I had any special combat moves. Second, I jumped up to see if I was able to fly away from my current location. I couldn't. Now, as I proceeded further towards the front of the house to the left, I pinched my nose to see if I was indeed lucid. At this point, I was amazed that I was lucid and didn't escape the dream as soon as I become lucid. But there was one thing I've always wanted to do in my dreams. That is, kiss the girl of my dreams and being able to hold her in my arms. As I have done before, I tried to summon her around a corner by putting my deep faith in believing she would be around the corner. But when I turned to a corner, I would see her, but only for a couple seconds. But those couple of seconds delighted me. She appeared to be vivid and I wanted to try and summon her around a corner again but I always failed.
