Well, I haven't been here in a while! I pretty much stopped with my whole online DJ, aside from the tasks, but maybe I'll have to change that But for this entry, it's still a TotY one, specifically Aladdin! Off to it, then The dream started off in a large, traditional Japanese house, with multiple rooms and corridors, but only one floor. I was in a big dining area with a good size table and about a dozen elderly women kneeling around it drinking something out of mugs, likely tea. I stood in the doorway looking at them and could see outside behind them -- there was a large gap in the wall where sliding doors should've been. It was sunny and summertime, everyone was in light clothing and I think I was dressed in jeans and a t-shirt -- the women were dressed in kimonos, but they were thinner and more breathable than more traditional ones. I walked past them and into another room where there were some end tables and a couple lamps, but nothing out of the ordinary. I continued to walk around the building, from room to room, just looking around, not really having anything in mind. I came full circle back to the room I was just in, but the women had gone out back and were suddenly having a barbeque. One was cooking hot dogs on a grill, a group were talking, and others were playing Frisbee. It was summer after all. I poked my head outside to see what exactly was going on, but just sort of stared for a little bit, zoning out at these elderly women dressed in kimonos and having a cookout. I came out of it and turned away, walking back the other way through the house. I came to a room that has a small swimming pool in it with a small ladder in the corner. There was tile around it amidst the hardwood flooring that normally covered the floor, and luckily I noticed something was amiss. I thought to myself, "Am I dreaming?" and plugged my nose to do a RC. I breathed in, and after a second, I could definitely breathe! It was a relief; I had been having a dry spell for a while which was broken recently with a really short, low vividness lucid which wasn't very satisfying. Being able to do a complete reality check with actual substance behind it was liberating. I looked around the room I was in, getting a full sense of what it felt like, and rubbed my hands for some stabilization. The walls were all vertical wood paneling but the ceiling didn't really look like anything; the room just sort of stopped and there was a roof, but no distinct ceiling. Either way, I was lucid! So I didn't really care too much. I looked around the room, thinking of all the things to do, when I noticed a lamp in the next room over sitting on one of the end tables. I had remembered the TotY, but couldn't really remember what the specific tasks were. Luckily, the lamp reminded me of the Aladdin one: wish for a magic carpet, then whatever for the other two. I walked over to it, picked it up, and rubbed it. It wasn't what you'd expect a magic lamp to look like, but it was smooth and shiny, so I figured it'd work. Of all things to pop out, a DC from a couple previous dreams I had (my Hindenburg (TotY from 2012) DJ entry described him well) appeared right behind me. "Hey, what's up!? he said, startling me. I turned around and couldn't recognize him at first. Seeing my confused expression he told me, "Don't you remember? I kicked your ass a while back! For the task?" Then it hit me, "Ooohhhhhh!... it's you. You didn't kick my ass, you kicked me in the head!" I retorted sarcastically. He had, in fact, kicked me in my head to wake me up. "It's just a saying, geez. You don't have to get so worked up about it," he retorted. "Anyway, you need a carpet, right?" That's true, I did have to take a magic carpet for a spin. "Uh yeah, you got one?" I asked. He nodded his head behind him and, sure enough, there it was. It wasn't magnificent looking at all like it was in the movie. It looked like a standard rug you would put a coffee table on over hardwood. But hey, if it's "magic" then I don't really care what it looked like. "Thanks," I said halfheartedly. I walked past him and hopped on the carpet. I floated up above the floor a couple inches, and I turned around to say goodbye to him, but he had disappeared. Figures, he never did stick around for a while. I look back at the room with the pool in it, lean forward, and start flying quickly towards the wall on the other side. I put my arms up in front of me and break through the wall, nearly losing my balance and being blinded by the sun. I hadn't done too much dream control in a while, so I was a bit rusty. I basically rode the carpet like a snowboard, since that's something I was used to in real life. I leaned right to turn around and take a look back behind the house to see the women still there, having their cookout. There were some guys there now, and the women were younger, much closer to the age you'd expect to have a random cookout and play Frisbee with. I got a good look at the house and the surrounding area and it was just as big as I had thought it would be. It was completely secluded with forest all around it and a small path leading out to a road a couple hundred yards out. I looked around me -- I was about 100 feet up at this point -- and could see a fairly large mountain in the distance. I circled a house for a bit a decided that this was probably good enough for the task and headed back to wish for two other things. After all, I could fly whenever. I dropped straight down through the roof approximately where I thought the room with the lamp in it was. Something about the roof must've been off, because when I went through it I got thrown off the carpet and hit the ground hard. I could feel the dream about to be fading. "No! Not now, dammit!" I thought loudly, and as I tried to spin and save the dream, I unfortunately woke up. However! I laid still and kept my eyes closed and tried to jump right back into the dream. I'm continuing this! I won't be defeated by some roof! And I was back in the room with the lamp, completely lucid! I did another RC just to be sure, and sure enough I was good . "Welcome back," I heard a voice say. It was him again. "Have a nice trip?" Wow, I didn't know he made bad puns too. "Oh yeah, lovely," I told back. "Can I just have two more wishes?" I wasn't sure if I could still complete the task (Ophelia tells me now that yes, a DEILD is fine) but I wanted to be safe. "Sure! But what're ya gonna wish fer?" He said colloquially. "Give me some ideas!" "Why not another task? Or... oo! I know! A Hindenburg blimp!" Wow, he just loves making fun of me, doesn't he . "Well then, Mr. Sarcasm, how about that pool over there becomes filled with chocolate pudding?" I pointed my finger at the pool. Why pudding? I don't know, I couldn't think of anything. Why chocolate? Because chocolate pudding is best pudding. Period. "Uh, sure, whatever," he spoke lazily. I watched intently as a small portion of the pool in the middle began to turn thick and chocolatey. It slowly expanded across the water and down to the bottom, just like supercooled water freezing. 'Damn, that's a lot of pudding' I thought, and I walked over towards it. I reached into my back pocket and pulled out a spoon (sometimes things are just where they need to be in dreams) and bent over. I scooped some up and right as I'm about to taste it I get kicked in by the aforementioned asshole. I fell in face first into the weird, chocolatey concoction, which was not at all like water, but I managed to right myself and breathe. He was standing there laughing, "Just be glad I didn't wake you up again!" He spouted rudely. I just spit some pudding from my mouth angrily I just now realize my lucids are often like little sitcoms/cartoons xD) "Well? What's number three going to be!?" He asked triumphantly. I thought about just wishing to be out of this mess and cleaned up, but that wouldn't be entertaining to do, let alone read . "How about you let me kick you in the head!" I shouted. I figured I could kill two birds with one stone, part of the TotY and a little revenge . "Well..." he pondered, "I suppose I am playing the role of the genie, so I guess I kinda have to." He rubbed his chin while he spoke. "Alright then!" I yelled, jumping out of the pudding pool. No clue how I jumped, but I also didn't have any pudding on me anymore. Yay dreams! He turned his back to me, "Have fun!" He shouted. Right as he finished I sung my right leg around and roundhoused him right in the head, just like he had done to me. I blinked and was laying in my bed, awake. GOD. DAMMIT. That asshole got me again. By the end of this task I better beat him. Perhaps it'll be some good motivation!
I don't remember much about my dream, but the things I do remember really are bugging me. In my dream, I was a person I made up in my head. I looked exactly like how I imagined this person. So I'm on some sort of quest looking for spirits that grant me magic powers such as pyrokinesis and such. Mid way through the dream, I'm walking through a cave where a monster that kind of looked like Lugia from Pokemon attacked me; it was one of the spirits I talked about. I somehow ended up out of the cave and at the beginning of a town. I turned around to get the monster out of the cave. I pulled a switch which was attached to a chain and it started pulling the monster out. When it came out, it was decapitated and I couldn't understand why. Maybe someone was chasing me? Anyways, I carry the head to the town (the town looked to be a run-down wood/brick medieval-esque town) and the town came to greet me. Apparently some of the people knew me and came to see me. I dropped the head and curled up into a ball, like any sane person would do once they've been holding a decapitated head of a monster. One of the girls in the crowd said "what's wrong with her?" and what seemed to be the village elder of sorts said, and I specifically remember this and I don't know why. He said "She just needs someone to hold". I really enjoyed the dream but I want to delve into it and learn what it was all about.
A powerful old dead woman who I'd known when she was alive has possessed a young girl I know, a friend's kid, in high school. She's essentially holding the kid hostage in order to make some demand of me, and I'm refusing her. Another girl, a friend of the possessed one, can't understand why I won't just give in to the dead woman's demands and save her friend, she's very distraught. There's some weapon or power source that used to be sealed away in the ground, and I'm threatening to reseal it, so the dead woman won't be able to access it. She thinks I'm bluffing, because that'd be bad for me too, but I'm willing to do it. She says to me that I don't appreciate the strain she's putting this body under; she's using magic constantly at a level that may seem reasonable to me and her, but which is unsupportable for a kid like this, she'll burn out if it continues. As the same character, I'm walking across a high school gym, intending to get some coffee. It's after school hours, and there's a group of kids here playing basketball. They keep disappearing and reappearing, teleporting short distances. I'm thinking of it as one of those games with rules that only kids understand, and thinking how great it is to see them given a chance to just come together and play around like normal kids. In the hall on the other side of the gym, I meet up with a guy in a suit and trenchcoat who's also watching the game. He says something along the lines of "I can't believe you (pl.) were able to find so many."

02.03.2014Magica (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Note: I have been watching "Puella Magi Madoka Magica," a magical girl anime with a ridiculously dark plot. My dream is based on this. An evil witch has trapped my friends and I in a large castle. Within the castle are metal giants that are systematically hunting us down. No matter where we hide, the giants always find us. One of my powers as a magical girl is increased intuition, which allows me to discover that the witch is somehow seeing through our eyes to alert the giants of our location. Squeezing my eyes shut so that I (and the witch) can no longer see where I am, I stumble blindly through the castle. I manage to avoid the giants and confront the witch. However, our leader Homura has been using the entire situation as a distraction so that she could get to Kyubey, the being who turned us into magical girls. She kills Kyubey, ensuring that no other innocent girls get pulled into this madness. Unfortunately, our own contracts are still active so we must continue our fight. The witch escapes in the aftermath. *time lapse* Some time passes. I have recieved a burst of intuition involving something known as the "Black Fox." I try to get in touch with Homura, but she is nowhere to be found. I have a terrible feeling that something big is about to happen. Currently, I'm visiting my dad on a farm that he seems to own. He is working on one of his cars and tells me that he needs a new brake system for it. "Would you call Advanced Auto and see what kind of system I need for this car?" he asks me. "You know more about it than I do, why can't you call them?" Before he can answer, someone pulls up nearby in a van. A silver-haired woman in a wheelchair rolls out to meet us. To my supreme irritation, I realize it is the most annoying reporter in the world (who I have actually dreamed about before, a long time ago). She is a retired magical girl, whose wish upon making her contract with Kyubey was to be a famous news reporter. She clearly wants an interview with me, for some reason. "I have nothing to say to you," I snap before she can speak. Ignoring me, she begins filming. Her camera is a laptop that she has set up on her wheelchair. "Woah, I did NOT give you permission to film me!" I exclaim. I don't need my enemies knowing anything about where I am. I immediately turn around and back into the camera, so she is filming nothing but my rear. She continues trying to question me, so I walk backwards, pushing her wheelchair as I go. She screams in protest the entire time until I finally push her off down a hill. Laughing triumphantly, I return to my dad. "I figured out what kind of brake system I need," he tells me. "Will you help me buy it online? It's called the Black Fox." I freeze at the name. The Black Fox? What could my father's brake system have to do with my vision? Deciding to find out, I tell him I'll help. He pulls the product up almost instantly on ebay, under a seller that is CLEARLY my roommate. "Um, I have to make a phone call." I leave the room to call Alex, asking her about the Black Fox. "I found the brake system in my house this morning," she tells me. "Whoever put it there must have also hacked into my Ebay account. I don't know, it sounds like something Homura might do. You should ask her." I call Homura, who finally answers. She only gives me really cryptic information that doesn't answer any of my questions.
I'm about to open a portal for someone, and I'm trying to explain the difficulties of this type of teleportation to them. I'm saying, no, it doesn't have to be a place I've been to before, but I have to be able to keep the precise location I 'feel' in mind. Things like direction or distance from here to there, those matter - what the place looks like doesn't. As Rumpelstiltskin, I'm using magic to sort of scan someone for some information, together with Belle, and Belle is able to feel it - she's surprised by the feel of it. It seems like it's happy; she didn't expect it to have a mind of its own. And it worries her that it seems happy, when the person we're scanning is sick. I'm thinking, the magic doesn't care about the person being sick one way or the other, it doesn't really understand what people or sickness are, it's just happy about the way it's being used - it's got a life of its own to a degree but it's not that sentient. I'm outside my IRL home at dawn, and there are all these beautiful birds. A great horned owl on a tree stump, a snowy egret walking across the lawn, a variety of smaller birds that I don't recognize in the trees, and four peacocks that show absolutely no fear of humans, I'm standing right next to one and it's not bothered, I'm thinking the peacocks must have been tame. There are two guys climbing up a rock - they think of it as a mountain, but it's barely a hill - carrying a radio and a guitar. A musician they like died here, and one of them has insisted on making a sort of pilgrimage, to play his music at the place he "breathed his last breath." At the top of the rock they turn on the radio. A female vocalist sings "At last the time fell-" The guys brought their own instruments and are joining in. One of them is on the guitar, but the one who insisted on this trip has some small metal instrument that looks vaguely like a comb, played with the thumb.

I'm looking at some kind of travel ad with a picture of a bridge and a quote calling it magical. A woman's complaining about the misuse of the quote - apparently it's a line from the end of a long poem about a more literal variety of magic, and the way the ad is using it is going completely against the spirit of the poem. She summarizes the poem, saying something along the lines of 'magic's one and only purpose: getting us outta here.' As I think about what that means, I become lucid. I'm floating above the bridge from the image in that ad, high over a river, surrounded by trees; I fly along the road, over the trees, flying higher until I can see that this is an island, and I fly out over the water. It's all very beautiful, but I'm still thinking about what that woman had said, and I associate it with a quote from Tolkien in defense of escapism. (The quote: Why should a man be scorned if, finding himself in prison, he tries to get out and go home?) Thinking about Tolkien, I think that while I'm lucid, I'll go find some elves. But suddenly I feel a desperate need to, as the woman said, get outta here - rather than flying peacefully over the water, now I'm thinking of the sky as a barrier I have to break through; I'm very worked up about it. I fail completely. When I stop trying to break through the sky, I find I'm now flying outside my IRL home. I land in a tree. My IRL neighbor's on the steps outside with some people I think of as her cousins, and she sees me. I feel embarrassed, a grown man climbing trees. The branch I'm sitting on breaks with a very loud crack, and although I don't fall very far at all, they run over to me. She scolds me for climbing trees when people are trying to sleep. We go inside. I'm still vaguely aware that I'm dreaming, but I'm thinking that I'll have to wait for these people to leave before I can do anything very interesting. I 'wake up' on a bus. I think about the lucid dream I just had, but am distracted when Danica Patrick starts making out with the woman sitting next to me. (And yet it doesn't occur to me that I might still be dreaming...) I'm in an office, talking to someone about the android I've been monitoring. The guy I'm talking to is the same model, and I'm asking him about some of the skills he was programmed with; I think there might be something wrong with the one I've been observing, she seems to have let some of her skills decay. He hints that maybe I've got an ulterior motive here, and he's right, but I insist I'm only concerned about my employer (their manufacturer)'s reputation. I'm thinking I'm going to have to download a training program so I can pose as a servant and infiltrate her owner's household. (Woke up. Had an unusually difficult time getting back to sleep, I was up for at least an hour.) There's two men sitting in front of a fireplace, a young man and an old one. The young man's saying, "Don't you want to help me?" There's a long pause. The young man isn't aware of it, but the person he's speaking to is his father-in-law; his wife, the old man's daughter, has recently passed away, and for some reason the old man thinks it's to his benefit to keep that connection secret. Now the old man says, "Your wife... Very sweet creature." (Woke up. Back to sleep without difficulty this time.) I'm on a train named after a greek goddess; I've just changed from a train called Autehna (which is meant to be Athena - my dreams have mixed up that name in a similar way before, again pronouncing it with a 't' instead of 'th'), and I'm thinking of the naming of the two trains as pleasantly symbolically appropriate. I'm writing in a journal. As I write, I see an image of what I'm writing about: a very powerful and morally dubious man offered me a position, and I turned him down, and I can't for the life of me figure out why. In the journal, I write that I must have learned in another life to refuse to get tangled up with the wicked and powerful. Continuing as the same character from the train, I find my wife and children asleep around/under the Christmas tree. Still the same character, I'm standing on a dock next to a rowboat full of men in red uniforms, casting off. I'm in the same uniform, as is the man beside me, but the two of us aren't going back to the ship with the rest. I'm thinking about that position I'd turned down, and the possible ill will resulting from that refusal, and I start to feel suspicious about the guy next to me. When I look at him, he takes off running down the dock, reaching for a rope. I reach for the weapon I've concealed in my false leg, and as I remove it I hear someone say "mon dieu!" I'm thinking about the various bits and pieces of myself that I've left behind. (Woke up, once again couldn't get back to sleep and eventually gave up on it, even though I'd gotten only about 5 hours of sleep. Unusual.)

Jan 4-5 2014 I was at a nice resort area, talking to a family while sitting at a table that was making a big purchase. Apparently Sal Volcano had done all the selling and they knew what they wanted. As I was "ringing it out", it asked me where we were and it showed a giant map of the resort. Soon Sal showed up and we were going to eat. My mom was there, and a few other people I didn't know. I was asked if I wanted any food but I said no. Food started coming in and my mom started eating it. I wake up just a little but DEILD back into the restaurant. I focus on my surroundings and start feeling what I can. The ground, which was carpet feeling, the tables, which were a smooth wood, and a tiles pillar, which felt cool, but bumpy from the tiles. I also calmed myself down by taking a big breath, and then rubbed my hands together. I didn't want to take too big of breaths in fear of being aware of my physical body. I got up and started to walk to explore the dream. Kaitlin Dekkers and Molly Finley come up to me and ask me to show them what types of mouses would work for Molly. I say sure and start to walk towards a wall. When I get there I realize it's the wrong wall and tell them to follow me to another. I then realize I was losing lucidity because of them, so I tell them it has to wait, and they reluctantly agree. I think about what to do, and remember Gray's magic. I'm on a 2nd floor, near a corner of this room, and decide to block off one section of the corner to stop people from distracting me. I get in a wide stance, put my right hand in a fist on top of my left hand stretched out. Think hard and shout, "Ice make wall!". Nothing happened from that, so I decide to try harder. I get in the same stance, and when I put my hands together I think how they should be "steaming" from ice fog. They do a little bit and when I shout "Ice make wall!" this time, a little ice forms in the ground where I wanted it to go. I realize I'm almost there so I do it one last time, my hands are really fogging now, and I shout the words really loud this time. A giant pillar of ice shoots out of the ground, and everything seems to go quiet like I did something incredible. The pillar was thin, and only about half as wide as I wanted it to be, but it was very tall. I looked at it and it was very detailed. The edges were extremely jagged and ominous, whilst it was thin enough to see through it, but distorted. I realized I knew I could do it then, so I did the magic one last time and succeeded in making the giant wall I wanted to. I wanted to cross to the other side, without running around, so I do the magic and shout, "Ice make platform!" and several square ice platforms appear floating between my position in the corner, to the other side. I get on the railing and jump to one platform. I wonder if it can support my weight and then I break the ice and fall to the ground floor. It's at this time i realize I'm on a team of superheroes fighting against super villains (I've lost lucidity at this point as I go with the flow of the dream). I knew I needed to get to the 2nd floor so I think about what could get me to the 2nd floor, 'an ice plane?', 'an ice rope?'. As I'm thinking I realize one of my teammates is in trouble behind me. They're fighting a guy under the water so I dive in, and try to cast an ice bolt in the villains direction. It doesn't work and the villain turns on me. He's like Mr Fantastic, but is wearing a daredevil uniform, and swimming and talking underwater. He starts beating me up and I wonder what I can do. Soon enough, one of my teammates jumps in and beats Mr. Daretastic, and I'm saved. When I emerge, the battle is over and everyone is celebrating. I'm mad I didn't do much and wanted to check I still can use ice magic. So I call "Ice make bolt" at a wall, and it makes a giant spinning saucer that launches like 6 feet deep in the wall, leaving a huge gash in the wall. The saucer had a diameter if about 4-5 feet. People are talking about the battle, and one my managers from Apple, Nate, comes up and is congratulating us. He reaches his hand out to me to pull me out of the water, and is saying that we're all getting paid for the flight home as well. I hear only 1 civilian died, and that she lost her mind completely or something. I remember this and everyone else does too saying they saw it in a dream. I remember I saw it in a dream too and realize we all had the same dream. I say that dream changed my perspective on dreaming in general. I was buying mom a gift and I got her 2 goggles for seeing underwater. They included free classes. I was hoping to get a discount but I didn't have my license for whatever reason. I asked my dad for his, but his was very old when he was under 21, and he said it didn't count. The lady was talking to me about all of the classes that I'm getting and I was getting very annoyed. Erica was saying to not make it about me, and I was just so confused why everyone was talking and mad at me.
12-28-2013 -- I am Harry Potter, and while doing a Runescape herb run, I have discovered that I have the ability to bring chalk drawings to life, like in Brandon Sanderson's teen book The Rithmatists. I have been working on it for a while, and am finally starting to get it all working, and decide I am ready to start teaching it to my friends. Hermione is getting nowhere, because she is just simply incapable of believing that chalk drawings can come to life ... it doesn't fit her view of the world, even if she can see the proof of it in my own attempts. Ron is getting slightly further, managing to make his small drawing of a butterfly float a little unsteadily by somehow crossing his drawing with wingardium leviosa, but it is a very limited success. Neville is turning out to be the expert of the group, quickly surpassing even me, as he manages to bring his chalk plant drawings to life. He is really something. Flash forward in time a little bit, and we are running around, fighting off Death Eaters in a setting that seems very reminiscent of the Chinese Bakery dream I had which either never got entered, or perhaps was only a fragment. The location and feel seems to combine the Death Eater fight with more hints of Runescape, and just a bit of the whole spy thing from Covert Affairs (a show I just started watching today). I am doing an herb run while under heavy fire from the Death Eaters, next to a large building. I suddenly see a large chalk-drawing pumpkin-like vine sneaking up on one of the Death Eaters from behind the building. Rather than come directly at him, it has grown to circle the entire building in just a few seconds, and pounces on him from behind, wrapping him in vines and somehow not just capturing him, but starting to take him over. The scene is shifting to become more sort of the Calico Square in Knott's Berry Farm, as Neville's chalkling has kind of taken on a complete life of its own, and is grabbing real life plants, animals, and even people, and mutating them into a half-whatever, half-chalkling creature, creating a new species. Thankfully it seems to have a sort of a sense of morals. While it takes over any plants it wants to, the animals it takes over seem to be damaged or abused, so that it's new species may give them a better life, and it is leaving us alone, but only taking over, mutating, and controlling evil humans like the Death Eaters. We're still a little nervous about what Neville has done here.
I’m standing outside like a house or a school or a church. I’m talking to someone maybe a kid or something and then I walk over to the building ahead of me and I see my sister there but she’s very young like 14 maybe. I say hi and I realize that I’m dreaming. I start stabilizing by looking at my hands but it’s not working very well as my hands are kind of unstable so I decide I need to touch stuff. I walk back to the building where I was standing and start touching the wall, really feeling it. It’s made out of little bricks or tiles and I feel the grooves and then I decide I will kneel down and feel the grass or flowers that are growing from the ground right at the wall. As I’m doing this some little kid comes from behind me and starts grabbing my shirt. I tell him to get off me and what the hell is he doing. He keeps at it and actually I decide that it’s ok because it just adds to my stabilization because I can feel my shirt better. After a moment or two he just disappears. I’m fully lucid now and as I look up I’m amazed at how crystal clear everything is (note: I forgot to say verbal commands to stabilize and also forgot to say that I’m anchored in lucidity and anchored to this dream and I’m all powerful and I can do anything). Anyway, as I look up I see this amazing green lawn of grass ahead of me and it also looks like a bed in a bedroom at the same time, even though it’s a large lawn...strange and hard to describe really but that’s what it looks like. So even though I’m outside I’m also inside and I go on to explore this house where I now find myself...possibly my dreamscape changed somewhat while I was stabilizing. I walk through a few rooms and I don’t recall now exactly how that went but the last room that I went into I see a woman doing something and she looks like my wife and I get closer and in fact it is my wife. I momentarily have a thought of having sex with her and I feel my lucidity drop a bit, so I decide to just go ahead with exploring the dream. I go outside and take off flying over this lawn of grass. I keep going higher without wanting to and I see down on the lawn a black cow with I think white spots. I consider this cow to be an excellent target to practice my magic spells and I want to land but I can’t. I then try to just stop flying so that I can fall down and land on the grass and that doesn’t work either. I then try to throw a fireball as I’m flying over the cow but that doesn’t work either (note: I should have stopped to stabilize at this point as I was loosing my lucidity). Now the cow grows wings and takes off flying like a cow demon. It flies to this roof of a building where I can see something protruding that looks like spider legs (giant spider at that)...but I can’t really see to tell for sure. So the cow lands there and I fly after it trying to throw another fireball and it’s not working again. I try to make a tight fist and imagine heat inside to make the fireball..doesn’t work. I then try to shoot lightning out of my fingertips at it and that doesn’t work either. The demon cow now notices me and takes off flying after me. It flies much much faster than I so it catches up to me in like 2 seconds and we are fighting in the air. I imagine that if I rip off it’s nose it will die and I grab onto the nose and try to tear it off. After a few seconds I can feel it giving way but I also find myself in a limbo where I no longer see anything and I transition into the next dream, which turns out to be a false awakening but I don't realize it and continue non-lucid. The dream was a MILD and I had taken Galantamind 4mg, Alpha GPC 300mg and Melatonin 0.75mg 2 hours before the dream. The dream lasted a little less than 2 min.

Someone's telling me that two serpents, one that spits fire and the other water, have gone missing from their shrine. I say they're taking a trip, "naught to worry." Rumpelstiltskin's hit upon a new-to-him form of magic, something that appears as a white light when he's working on it, and it's some major revelation - but he can't pursue it unless he cuts himself off from distractions like 'the boy.'
Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #170: Spellcasting 101 I'm standing in what looks like a hotel room with a spellcaster, a brown-haired girl in her late teens or early twenties. She's holding her palms out in front of her, and a miniature tornado whirls and dances in each of her hands. Each cyclone is about a foot high and spins rapidly but quietly, the tip of the funnel stuck to the same spot on her palms. This trick is new to her and she darts her eyes at me as if to say, "Did I get it right?" I nod approvingly. For some reason, a flame catches around the upper rim of each tornado and she starts to lose her calm. "Why's it doing that?" The flame begins to spread down the funnel and she starts to panic. I become lucid as the fire spreads down the tornado and wraps ribbons of flame around her arms. I can see that the flames are just wrapping around her, though, and she's not actually catching on fire. It looks like some kind of fire spell is building up that she doesn't understand how to operate or control. There's a door just behind me that looks like it leads down to a basement. I usher her toward the basement, saying, "Let's go downstairs to practice that. It'll be safer there." She's starting to panic but she starts moving toward the basement as the dream ends. I hold on for DEILD, imagining myself running down a dark flight of stairs. It takes a moment for the imagery to coalesce again, and when I emerge back in a dream, I'm alone in a different hotel room, running around the room. I'm sort of prancing around on the carpet using just the balls of my feet. It's very dainty-looking and super un-macho but the sensation on my feet's very vivid and is helping me keep fears of an unstable dream at bay. (I know to ignore these, but there they were anyway!) I run around the room like this for a bit more and then switch to rubbing my hands together. I continue this pretty much throughout the rest of the dream. I walk out through the hotel room door into a darkly-carpeted hallway and walk for a long way. On my right I see a door that looks just like the one that led to the basement in the previous dream, so I follow it, expecting to find the young spellcaster again. I tromp down a flight of wooden stairs into a well-lit anteroom where an Hispanic woman in her late 30s is sitting behind an old-style cash register. She gives me a friendly smile and I remember the Task of the month to ask a DC for a gift. "Hey!" I say. "Go ahead and give me my gift now." She nods, reaches under her desk, and pulls out a greeting card in an envelope. I will the greeting card to be open and the envelope just sort of vanishes. The cover of the card is some kind of abstract painting and the inside just has some simple handwriting in pen that read: "THANK YOU FOR THE CARD!" I'm trying to process what this means when the dream ends.
Original journal entry dated July 11, 2002: I had a dream last night about My Little Ponies and stuff. There was this alternate dimension you could go to by climbing this one cliff, but only if you climbed it along the correct path, and there was an evil wizard queen who was keeping all of them in cages, and I had to crawl through a sewer. And it was all animated. Then I had another dream, and in it I was with a group of people, and we were all spellcasters or something, and I was a hobbit, and I was with a bunch of other hobbits in an army and we had to drive a big Evil out of our land. Only it killed my best friend. . But somehow, before I was going to die, I got teleported somewhere safe, so I only wound up in a coma, and another hobbit who had been in the battle and survived it befriended me. So we decided that we had to seize the fortress of the big bad guy, and it was set up a lot like a dungeon in a way. Lots of stone and metal grates. But still technological. And it was actually a space ship. So we fought our way through it, only the entire time we were moving forward the badguys were closing in behind us, until we had gotten in too deeply to turn back, and a REALLY BIG evil dude who was like a vampiric slug thing attacked me and started gnawing on my guts, but my party members killed it. We kept going, except we could hear a really big SOMETHING behind us and quickly getting closer. I shut it off from the room with a heavy grate, and we somehow managed to get to the docking bay and blast off in a smaller ship right as it busted through the door. It was like Jabba the Hutt with octopus tentacle things, and it had a whole horde of smaller badguys with it. Then the ship we were in accelerated and we left them behind. And then there were more My Little Ponies, for some reason. The end.
I had just found out that my best friend and her sisters share dreams almost every night so I asked my friend if we could try having a shared dream battle tonight. She said yes. That night I went to sleep using WILD. Once I was in the dream I was a headless chicken running around. I tried to make a portal to my friends dream. I could not do it as a headless chicken so I closed my eyes and when I opened them I was myself. I tried to make a portal but it would not work so I gotten a little bit frustrated. Then I remember from my Twilight Sparkle dream that I could use magic as Twilight Sparkle. I closed my eyes and tried to turn myself into Twilight Sparkle and it worked! I now used my magic and successfully made a portal. I concentrated on my friend and going to their dream and went through the portal. I opened my eyes and then I was in my best friends dream! There was a castle there with a big moat and a drawbridge. It was exactly like what she had explained to me at school that day. I then saw my friend standing there. I asked her if she was ready to start. She had spawned about 80 creepers and I flew away screaming because that she surprised me because she never answers my question. I then spawned a couple of robots that attacked the creepers. She spawned loads of Pikachu which jumped and climbed all over my robots. I was trying to spawn lots of Charizard but I turned myself into Charizard instead. I used flamethrower and killed all of the creepers. My friend was gone. I then suddenly woke up. I was lying in my bed. I then woke up for real. The next day at school I asked her if she had died because she dissapeared and if she saw me vanish. She said before I used my flamethrower she telaported behind me and killed me with a sword. Because she already knew that I used flamethrower before I told her and she knew that I must have woken up or gone somewhere else in the dream this proves that it was a real shared dream! This is the second shared dream that I have had. I might try and have another 1 tonight with a different friend. This was an awesome dream! I cant believe that having a planned shared dream together worked! I will try and do it more often now!
I went to sleep while consenting so that I would be lucid from when I first entered the dream. After a while I was in the dream. I was a princess riding a bike through the forest. I got really excited and I almost lost the dream. I got off the bike and began spinning around with my eyes shut and concentrating to stay inside the dream. When I stopped spinning I found myself in a castle. After a few moments I realized that I was Twilight Sparkle! I exploded the castle and it was not very big. It only had 1 other room and a staircase. Then I realized that because I had wings I could fly and because I had a horn I could do magic! I then gotten excited again and had to spin. I had gone to the forest that I was in before. I was still Twilight Sparkle. I saw some rocks on the ground so I used my magic to make them all fly around. After that I was walking around and suddenly Flutter Shy appeared. I said hi to her and asked her if she wanted to fly with me. She said yes and then I flew up into the sky using my wings. Flutter Shy was behind me. I suddenly saw Rainbow Dash and she started flying with me. We flew up into the clouds. I was really excited and because I was flying I could not spin around to stay in the dream. I woke up. It was a really cool dream and I was lucid throughout all of it which I have never ever done before! It was wired for me to dream of my little pony because I have not been watching it recently since I have seen all of series 3 now. I have also never dreamed of my little pony before. I am still not complaining it was an awesome dream and I really enjoyed it! Could not believe it when I had woken up!
11-14-2013 -- [Can't remember all that much of this one, but what I could remember had some small parts that were kind of interesting.] First bit that I can remember was a lot of running around, chasing and being chased in what was part school, part lab, part hospital. At lest part of the time I was naked or part naked, and though I can remember nothing specific, I am almost sure some of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer characters were there. One of the dreams where there are doors in unexpected places leading to secret passages, and went on for quite a while with lots of people and running, but no details I can remember. Soon it turns into a Disney hotel with seven floors (in real life it reminds me of the Radisson) that I have frequently dreamed about. I find I am on the third floor, and instead of moving to a room or a elevator, I walk to the side and push a button that makes a balcony appear outside of one of the rooms, and climb on to it. I planned to continue on to the rest of the balconies, but the button I pushed only created the one, and there are no more buttons. I think for a couple of minutes, then just speak to the air like I were on a Trek holodeck, and speak into being the entire row of balconies, and walk to the other end, where I move back into a hallway and am waiting for an elevator. When it opens, Endora (from Bewitched) walks out, and kind of glares at me, which makes me a little nervous. I dodge into the elevator and push a button, trying to head up for the fourth or fifth floor, but the elevator won't go where I want to go. A couple other people get on, and I eventually manage to get off, but I exit into a sort of fancy restaurant located halfway between the second and third floors. (It is a restaurant I have dreamed of between floors at least two or three times before.) I try to make my way through it, and climb up to the third floor, but the floor plan is getting more and more complicated, and I eventually have to get help from a bus boy to find my way out of the restaurant. As I exit the restaurant I instead find myself entering the three-wing shopping mall (that somewhat resembles the Westminster Mall) that I frequently dream about, and find the area I am entering is right next to the arcade. There are video games and flashing lights, and it is a multi-level arcade. I quickly realize that it is a cross between the five-story Disney Quest and the game center that I once invaded in a dream as Spider-Man, but this time I just walk right past it and find myself in the fourth floor of what is turning from a hotel to a cruise ship. (Though it is a cruise ship that has seven decks. That part is remaining stable.) I take the stairwell up to the fifth floor where I walk into a strangely familiar bar. I quickly realize it used to be the Adventurers Club, and I am on the Zebra Mezzanine, but they have removed all the artifacts, lined all the walls with bars, and the main focus of the room is now two very large cages. Greg Schuerman climbed up on top of one of the cages to make a speech about the loss of the Club and his memories of it, but he can't actually remember what he is trying to say, so he climbs down, then climbs in the cage with a 'wild animal' that may just be a man in a gorilla suit as a tribute to Marcel. There are a couple of other wild animals in a sort of giant circus wheel type of gadget, and as they approach, Greg flees out the door in 'terror.' Once the door closes behind him, he grabs a small wooden crate (about 18" square by 6" deep) and starts to fold himself into it, in preparation for a magical appearance. But never mind the trick, I am just amazed he can squeeze himself into such a small space. A fellow dressed up as Frankenstein comes slowly wandering out with a pallet jack, and he is supposed to pick up the crate, but he is acting really unintelligent, and pretending he doesn't know what he is supposed to be getting, so keeps half loading up the wrong things, while some woman sitting in a wheel chair is disgustedly telling him he is an imbecile and a stupid thing, and is trying to direct him to the right crate. I'm just standing there thinking it is an interesting, if bizarre, show.
