    1. May 20th - Rotten Teeth and First Control

      by , 05-21-2013 at 01:36 PM
      1st Dream(Non-Lucid):

I get out of a bus and take a look around. Wating at the bus station stands someone i immediately recognize but his name will just not come back to me. Anyways i knew that he was from a camp i attended a year ago. I approach him with: "Hey, i know you!!" but since i didnt recall his name i knew nothing i could talk about with him. We stood there in awkward silence til a second bus arrived and he got in.

I got moving again because by chance i was on my way to a camp simular to the one i have been to a year ago. When i arrived a couple of people were already there and i proceeded to tell them what i just expirienced. I then went to the bathroom ad at some point noticed that my front tooth was kind of loose. I pressed a little against it and in horror i felt how it crunched and i held a piece of my tooth in my hand. A look in the mirror showed me my bloodstained mouth and a part of the tooth that was still in there.
I ran out in panic searching for a dentist of some kind but after some time running through the building i remembered that this camp was located in a dentists office. So i went to the second floor and really found a dentist whom i explained what situation i was in. He told me to clean my mouth like they always do and what i spit into the sink apart from some water were more, smaller parts of some teeth that came loose.

      2nd Dream(Lucid):

i was at a friends and it was getting late but i knew my parents were out so they couldnt complain. But suddenly i saw my house and my parents unlocking the front door. I was following them in a ghost like state up to my room and inside. At this point i declared this a dream and started to recall the tasks from the competition. First thing that came to my mind was moving through a solid object so i walked straight through the door to my room which my mother had closed. She said something to me what i dont remember but i continued to think of tasks. Since interacting with a DC was one of them i imagened there was one of my buddys at the door so i rushed down and opened the door. When i saw noone there the dream started to fade away but a second later someone called me from the side. A friend i had a long time ago stood there and i was a little bit disappointed i coudnt summon the guy i initially thought of. When i looked at the guy again a turtle was in his place. I didnt really care and said something along: "Lets be awesome" patted the turtle its back and started running. i was worried that the turtle might not keep ut but it was right next to me and said its fine. As i ran down the street in front of my house at some point the obvious came to my mind and i pinched my nose to perform a RC. Obviously it was a dream and i was able to breath. I contiued running and saw a pool in a garden. and as soon of element manipulation the pool started to freeze. I let it be and went into a small sideway. i decided to try eating something and imagened some bacon in my pocket. It took one or two seconds until i felt a soft package apart from my cell phone i tock the package out and found some bacon(raw but still). when i finished eating i eventually woke up.

      Lucid #97: Just a Misunderstanding

I'm walking down a dark, endless hallway. All I can make out in this darkness is that the left side of the hall is set up with this endless series of art tables down its length. I'm moving slowly, afraid that I'll run into something unexpected.

A woman jumps out at me from the darkness, teeth bared, and a raised knife clenched in her fist. I jump back, terrified, and try to gather my wits to fight or run. The woman's demeanor suddenly softens and she throws the knife onto a nearby table where it lands with a clatter. I look at it, and the knife is even more frightening-looking than I'd thought at first -- it's the shape and size of a short sword!

She smiles at me, promising that "This is just a misunderstanding." She walks past me and I see that she's wearing very revealing lingerie. She looks amazing and as she brushes past, my hand grazes the skin of her torso. My feeble mind offers no resistance. I bet it was just a misunderstanding... She grips the fingers of my right hand in hers, leading me behind her down the hall.

I'm very excited about what's going to happen next. But something just doesn't feel right, and I suddenly remember that I'm married. As soon as I start thinking about Wife, I feel weak, rotten, and guilty following this scantily-clad stranger down a dark hall. I yank my fingers out of her grip, and she just keeps walking, disappearing into the darkness ahead. What the hell was I thinking? How could I be so stupid? And it hits me that
this has to be a dream. I immediately feel grateful and relieved to have figured this out.

I'm someplace different now. Some kind of wood-panelled attic. It's dark and the picture looks a little grainy, almost like I'm viewing everything through night vision. There's a little toy fan on a railing nearby and I take it, turning it on. It's the kind with soft foam blades that are safe for kids. The fan blows a pleasant breeze in my face and I can will it to move faster or slower as I see fit. My hair starts blowing crazily around as I increase the wind speed.

I'm worried about overall stability in this scene, so I let the little foam fan blades buzz against my arm as they spin round and round. Then I run the little fan blades against the skin of my right cheek for a bit, surprised at how realistic this feels.

I play with the fan for a while as I hunt around the attic for some kind of interesting scenery or exit. There's a metal grating in the floor and a soft, white light is pouring out of it into the attic. The grating is slammed shut but I know that I can phase through it. I beging working up my will for a phase, thinking There's nothing there. Nothing at all. Before I can try the phase, though, the grating swings silently open. Well, that was easy.

I move toward the light, stepping into it and...
wake up, seeing that the light and grating was really just my eyes seeing a light outside our hotel room filtering through the blinds.

    3. Getting Back into it.

      by , 05-21-2013 at 04:17 AM
I hadn't thought of lucid dreaming for a while (like a year) then I saw a reddit post about someone who just discovered lucid dreaming. Here is the post if you're wondering. I recently discovered lucid dreaming. This was me, becoming aware of my dream for the first time. : funny

Anyway that night I went to bed. Had to wake up for work, then it got cancelled so I went to bed again about an hour later.

      Dream:Lucid:

I was at caveman's expensive looking house. He and Ahmed were working in something separately. When I entered Ahmed's room I found a little building that was like my robot from science Olympiad. I thought wow he made a 360 change in school. I go to cave man's desk looking at stuff while sitting. I start to feel weird the. The desk and house change to my room and desk. I looks behind me and see my bed and am confused because I didn't remember coming out of bed.
I then realize I am dreaming.

I immediately stand up and jump through the window to fly. I'm above many houses going fast. Then they start to repeat so I turn around. I was losing lucidity. I see a woman in jeans and a pink shirt with brown hair and ask for help. i grab her hand and i gain some clarity again. we immediately begin making out. l, oddly, I can taste her mouth while kissing. The dream begins to fade and I can't do anything so I let it.

    4. Clash at the Alamo

      by , 05-21-2013 at 04:06 AM
The second of two LDs from the morning of 05/18/2013. This was a big, big dream, and this dream and I did not always get along. This was my first serious attempt at meeting NewArtemis for a dream sharing attempt.

I also got into a big fight with a powerful DC that escalated into a me against the world situation. I could have handled this a lot better. My self-control wasn't what it should be... but it was still kinda awesome.

Lucid #96: Clash at the Alamo

I'm Marty McFly from Back to the Future, driving my DeLorean on a set of rails that stand hundreds of feet over a bay. The DeLorean starts to shake as it picks up speed and before I can make a time jump, the rails end and the car goes plummeting toward the sparkling water.

I brace for impact and the DeLorean flies to pieces as it strikes the bay. Miraculously, I'm unharmed, and I thrash about for something to hold on to so that I can get my bearings and figure out what to do. One long, fin-like piece of metal from the car bobs to the surface and I grab onto it. The moment that I do, an unseen engine roars to life and takes off like a jet ski.

As I'm racing across the bay,
I realize that this has to be a dream. After riding for a moment, I'm perhaps a hundred feet from shore. I leap off the impromptu "jet ski" and fly the remaining distance, landing in a stone plaza that stands at the water's edge.

I remember that I'm planning to meet NewArtemis at the Alamo for a shared dreaming experiment. I turn toward the water, raise my hands up in the air, and make an announcement to all of the DCs. Most of the passerby stop and turn to look at me. "The Alamo is right behind me! That's right -- Alamo right behind me!" I imagine it in detail, rebuilding my mental map, forgetting and scrubbing out the buildings that were there before and replacing it with my image of everything that I remember about the Alamo. I continue this until I can think of nothing of what's behind me except for this image of the Alamo.

I turn around, expecting to see the Alamo... and there it is! The stone's a little darker and the construction looks a little too new to be quite right, but it's more than close enough of a lookalike for me. I walk around past the front entrance to a courtyard. The geography is different in this dream from that of the real Alamo, and I come to a stone wall with a little alcove and a bench. There's a woman sitting on the bench and we look at each other immediately.

She gets up and approaches me right away. She doesn't look like NewArtemis' DC has in the past, but I'm not sure of anything yet. She speaks first: "I'm here to meet someone. How about you?"

"So am I," I say, studying her. She's roughly the same height as Art's DC but her skin is paler, her hair curlier, her build heavier, and her face is different -- broader, different nose, different shape... just different. "But you're not her, are you? I don't think you're [NewArtemis]."

She smiles noncommitally, but I continue. "That's okay," I continue. "Let's still do the passphrases and gestures." I speak my chosen word to the DC and perform my chosen gesture. She doesn't bother speaking a passphrase in return but she does perform a gesture. (These have been reported to a 3rd party who is not NewArtemis just in case she's able to guess them.)

"Well, I need to go!" the woman says. She walks out of the alcove and passes me. As she goes, she becomes a much older lady, blonde, mid-50s. She grows to an enormous height, probably close to 8 feet tall. She's wearing shorts and I see that her legs are covered with a crisscrossing patchwork of scars.

I contemplate following, but I'm distracted by a man who's sitting at the top of a stone wall nearby, staring at me with a malicious grin on his face. He's in his late 30s with close-cropped reddish-blonde hair. The guy keeps staring at me with that joyless grin and I know that he's looking for trouble with me. I want no part of it, so I turn and walk away.

He hops down from the wall and grips my right forearm with his right hand, twisting my arm around so that my hand is near my head. I try to pull my arm out of his grip but when I yank, it doesn't budge. He laughs, shaking his head as if he can't believe that I would bother trying to defy him. "You're never leaving here," he says. "I mean it. You are never leaving here." I yank my arm again but I feel as weak as a kitten.

I know I have to turn this around fast. I grab him by the back of the head with my left hand and begin to imagine my adversary as frail and lethargic. "You're so weak and tired," I tell him, trying to sound compassionate, even though I'm boiling with rage. "There's just no strength left in you at all." And I gently move to lay him down on a nearby table. I think of him as totally weak and barely able to move. His grip slips from my arm and he flops backward onto the table.

"And small," I say, pressing on his head with one hand and his feet with the other. He begins to shrink. His hair has turned jet black now, and his eyes close. I squeeze him together, thinking of him as so tiny, and soon he shrinks to the size of a child, then to the size of a baby, then disappears into his clothes entirely. My self-control cracks and I ball up his clothes, throw the bundle on the ground, and give it a vicious stomp. I wonder for a moment whether I've gone too far and hope for a moment that the bundle was empty. I walk through a nearby archway, not sticking around to find out more.

I emerge in a cafeteria. A table of 6 or 7 teenagers immediately looks up from their meals at me. "It's him," one of them says, and they all get to their feet and come after me. I fly through a nearby doorway and emerge in a large, empty room with a skylight. I fly up to the skylight, intending to phase through it, but something seems to restrain me from getting high enough. I run through a doorway into a drugstore that dead-ends in a frosted glass window. I vault toward it, phasing through onto a street scene.

There are police everywhere on the street. I know that they're looking for me. There are strange little ball-shaped hoverbots scanning the streets with cameras, also trying to track me down. I sprint up to one and kick it against a nearby wall. With a pop, it breaks into two smoking, fizzling halves.

Everything seems to be happening too fast for me to control. I run down the street, looking for some way out of this fear. I want to buy time to calm down, so I phase through the door of a nearby house. Cops are turning the place over while the family, a husband and wife and their little girl of about 8 are glued to the TV. One cop notices me as I walk in, but I swoop in on him, grab him from behind, and choke him unconscious. The other two cops don't seem to notice any of this, and the little family stares obliviously into their TV sets.

I watch the TV for a moment. It's some sort of political propaganda which claims that the moral code of their "great society" is built upon a foundation of classic arcade games like Centipede, Pac-Man, and Donkey Kong. I'm torn -- on one hand, I find top-down, statist morality codes repugnant. On the other hand, I sure do love classic arcade games.

I phase out through the back of the house into the yard. The cops yell at me as I pass and I hear them calling for backup. The back yard is peaceful for a moment before the wail of what sounds like an air raid siren fills the air. I look up at the sky, feeling helpless, trying to find peace for a moment. But all I can think is They're coming for me.
      The dream ends...

      Lucid #95: The Garage

I'm backing our SUV out of the driveway. As always, it's a little tight so I'm focused on what I'm doing. I catch sight of a bearded, creepy man advancing up the driveway toward the car. He makes me nervous, so I pull the car back into the garage.

Once I'm safely back in the driveway, I look back out to find that the man has vanished. Relieved, I get ready to leave again. But now Wife's car is at a funny angle that blocks me from leaving. Come on, [Wife], why would you park me in like that? I try shoving the back half of the car so it'll spin around and get out of my way. Amazingly, this works!
I'm immediately sure that I'm dreaming.

I try turning Wife's car back and forth a few more times. It spins as smoothly as if it were on a turnstyle. I think about picking it up and flipping it over but realize that there are other things I need to be doing.

I remember that I have a goal of getting to the Alamo for a shared dreaming experiment. I try to look outside and see that the garage door is closing. It's only about 3 foot away from shutting completely. Even though I should know that this doesn't present any permanent impediment, it feels important that I don't let it shut on me. I hurry to the garage entrance, flop down on my side, and log roll under the garage door.

Outside now, I get to my feet on the driveway and look around. It's a cool, clear evening and the street's quiet. No weirdo in sight. I plan to Hulk-jump to the Alamo but as I begin to make my move,
      the dream ends.

    6. A trip to another city, mini-Ld

      by , 05-20-2013 at 09:48 PM
      Total sleep time: 6 hrs

Dream quality and recall: Dreams were vivid, dr2 was very long, reviewed in mind to commit to memory.

Fragment1: I had adopted the same avatar as checker and am wondering what people will think if we post one after the other

Fragment2: My mom insists on buying expensive gifts for one of her friends. I don't think she should.

WBTB: had a natural wake, decided to use as WBTB, was out of bed 6 mins, it was perfect, but when I came back, some kind of....nervousness took over, and I had trouble falling asleep for a long time. I really need to do something about my WBTB behavior.

Dream3: Me and bf are in an old but beautiful hotel. The room is very large, and later it turns to a huge apartment. I look outside, see some people arguing, decide I don't want to get involved, close the windows. It is late so I want to take a shower. I go to the bathroom but it is made all wrong and I start flooding the place. I turn the water off and go to look for the other bathroom, near the entrance, it is elaborately decorated . I also have a camera with me, to take a pic, but the camera is all wet, I try to dry it. I go to the other bathroom, but then the door to the apartment opens. We are sharing the place with other people, and they are coming in. I am naked, so run back towards our section and quickly close and lock the door behind me. We go to sleep.

Dream4 mini-LD: On the next day, my bf is leading me through some unknown streets in that city. We reach our destination. I notice some interesting things to eat, but we pass them by and enter a building. We go into a room, where a number of women are around the table and one of them is selling shirts. I don't want to buy any and just want to go out, and we get into a conflict with the woman. The women have totems on the wall, they begin praying and making strange movements with their hands as if casting spells. I close my eyes and inspect my energy field to check if everything is alright, also push a bit of energy forward to cancel out their influence.

I try to leave the room but it gets larger and there are more and more people inside they want to talk to me. I finally manage to go outside and enter the store where they sell the food, the man working there greets me in a foreign language. Those chocolate things are expensive, but look really nice. I end up ordering some ice coffee with something edible inside. The meeting of the people in the room is over, and everybody is now outside. They all pass by me, like a river of people, and I get a lucid-like feeling. They insist that I join them in an overcrowded car. I am in the car, annoyed with them and want to leave the car, but it is moving at a very high speed, so I decide to wait. I then notice that a bus nearby is driving really recklessly, destroying everything on its way. I figure this can only be a dream and become lucid. I think about how long this dream has been going, really very long, and I would really like to have some more fun. Then the dream fades and I am back in my real bed, eyes closed, lying on the right side. I am very awake and worried that I will forget the dream, so I remain absolutely still, reviewing with closed eyes, risky but didn't fall asleep or DEILD.

Comments: I am now a bit upset that I didn't become lucid earlier on. May have had a better chance to do some tasks. Yet, my dream self was happy!

It's hitting me pretty hard. And still hitting me when I enter the dream. I'm having issues getting out of the bed. Forces are pushing right back into a sleeping position. Eventually I get out of bed, and everything is rose coloured. I step out of the room, and I see "why aren't you dead!?" written on the door. Ugh, lets just wake up, because this is horrible.

    8. Trying flying in a DILD, 20-25 minutes

      by , 05-20-2013 at 04:59 PM
This dream is from last week so I don't remember everything anymore. I've forgotten the beginning of the dream.

I'm in front of my home. I don't remember what I was doing. The first thing I remember is becoming Lucid. First I try flying. Then I decide to try flying as high as possible. My first attempts are not very succesful: I can't get higher than about ten metres. The I try spinning, and suddenly flying up is very easy. I am soon at cloud level. I estimate that I'm in around two kilometres' height (in reality I would be ten km high). I rise above the clouds. The sky above me is clear and blue. I carry on rising. Soon I'm surrounded by clouds again. The clouds are red. A meteor shoots past me. I get scared and lose some lucidity (however not all); don't I become exposed to radiation this high? Won't I get out of air. I feel that the air is thin. I decide to descend below the clouds. When I'm below them I try to stop. It doesn't work and I continue falling down. Soon I'm plunging down, trying to slow down. In a few seconds I hit the ground. I have turned into a spaceship. However, my attempts at slowing down have been partially succesful and instead of causing an impact crater I only knock down some trees. Now I've lost all the lucidity and the dream's back to normal. There are some people playing football. I am now around three metres tall. I play football with the people for the rest of the dream.

    9. Three Tasks of the Month

      by , 05-20-2013 at 03:17 PM
It's been a while since I have had a good LD like this, so I'm very happy about all that I accomplished.

      Lucid Dream/Tasks of the Month

I was in the jeep with Marsha. We were driving to where this guy lived so I could either pick something up or drop it off. As we were driving I suddenly realized we had gone up the Little Cut. I was surprised. I hadn't realized we were going this far. I hadn't even remembered passing Horseshoe Bend. Right after getting up the Little Cut, we turned right onto a dirt road. The road entered a little canyon, and I remember thinking how pretty this was. I was a little jealous that this man lived in such a pretty place.

All of a sudden I was out of the jeep. I saw the jeep zip on up the road without me. I had no idea how I had slipped out. I started running after the jeep wondering when Marsha would realize I was gone. And what she would think. I ran through this narrow tunnel area that was really cool and kept on running up the road. Marsha wasn't stopping. How could she not have noticed.

Somewhere in here lucidity started creeping in. I don't remember a big "blam" moment. But I started doing flips as I was running. I knew I had the ability to do flips. I also knew that I wasn't getting as high in my flips as I often do. I was going so fast...no hovering.

I finally got to a point where I had full lucidity. And at that point I immediately decided I needed to do some tasks of the month. I had looked at them once at the beginning of the month. I remembered they seemed really cool and right up my alley.

I looked over and saw that I was at this park. I saw a few guys sitting on benches or standing nearby. I boldly walked right up to one guy and started talking to him. He was about 20 and looked at least part Indian (India), but he had blue eyes. I wish I remembered what I said, but his reaction was really rude. I decided that he would be a good one to do the basic ii task on (Telling a DC they are not real).

So I looked right at him and said, "Whatever...but guess what....none of this is real....you're not real...this is a lucid dream."

He wasn't phased. He kept up his rude comments and said something like, "Well you can take your lucid dream and shove it right up your ----."

I said, "Okay fine then". And I stepped a few feet away from him. This would be the perfect chance to try out another task (Light myself on Fire). I held my arms out in front of me and concentrated. Within seconds I could see flames start to rise from my arms. Since I was in bright sunshine I worried that it wasn't enough to be that noticeable. So I concentrated harder and soon I could see flames all over my body. They were still a little dim, but they would be noticeable. So I then looked over to where the rude guy was sitting so I could get his reaction. He had a surprised look on his face. I then noticed that I had set him on fire as well. I looked around again and saw that his friends were also on fire.

"Take that." I said to the rude guy. I was hoping the fire would scare the crap out of him and humble him a little.

The fire wasn't hot. I couldn't feel it at all.

The friends started laughing at this whole thing. I could tell they thought I was amazing and clever for setting the fires with my mind. The rude guy, on the other hand, wasn't laughing. He was freaking out. He acted like his fire was actually hot and was trying to put it out on his head. Finally I put all the fires out and decided to do another task since I was still fully lucid.

I remembered I wanted to try the Lay an Egg Task. I knew that would be simple to do, yet had that fun unknown factor. I squatted on the ground and squeezed a little. Nothing happened so I squeezed and pushed a little harder. Suddenly I was worried that all I would manage to do would be to go poop. I didn't want that. I stood up again. I realized that I had my clothes on. I decided to reach down in my pants to see if I maybe laid an egg and hadn't realized it.

Sure enough, I could feel something down there. I pulled it out. It was a clear plastic ball about 2 inches in diameter. On it were some wiggly eyes. There were a few loose wiggly eyes beside it. Okay, that was interesting. I set them down on the ground and reached down to see if there was anything more in my pants.

This time I pulled out a handful of those little plastic letters with the magnets that people put on the fridge (or at least used to when I was young).

I tried again. This time it was a handful of plastic blue things that I wasn't sure what they were. And there was also a dice.

I was going to do it again, but I noticed the rude guy walking by. I went up to him and put my arm around him and started walking with him. He didn't seem to notice at all. Then a guy that was supposedly a friend of mine went up to him and told him that I was interested in him and that I would like his phone number. The rude guy acted surprised and asked, "Are you sure she would go out with me." My friend said, "Of course." And the rude guy got a little excited at that point and fumbled in his pockets to find a piece of paper on which to write his phone number on.

But at that point I could feel the dream fading from me. I was a little sad, but knew it was alright since I had done three tasks and I need to write them down before I forgot.

The next thing I knew I was standing next to Marie who was sitting on a corner couch/chair. I looked at corner of it and saw what looked like cream colored black widow. It didn't have an hourglass, but everything about it looked like a black widow. As I got closer I could see that it was a very big spider....bigger than any black widow I had seen. Suddenly I was afraid. Marie had short shorts on and her exposed leg was just inches away. I told her we had to kill this spider--that it could be every bit as poisonous as a normal black widow. I got a book and tired to smash it against the wall, but something got in the way and I couldn't squish it all the way. And suddenly it was two spiders and they were both huge.

And at that point I woke up with my heart beating a little fast.
    10. A Lucid Dream of a White Car (Driven From Inside Our House)

      by , 05-20-2013 at 11:20 AM
Early afternoon of May 20, 2013. Monday.

In my very clear lucid dream, I walk around in our house (which is much larger in my dream) wondering what is going on. I start to get into the habit of touching my face and mouth regularly in my dream to check if I am breathing properly in real life. This is because, at the time, I remember that I am sleeping with a pillow over the side of my head but there is plenty of room to breathe.

I walk around until I notice that our back hallway is so much larger than in real life, I feel amazed. It is so large that there is now a shiny white car in mint condition, possibly a 1980s Ferrari Testarossa, parked between the bathroom and storage cupboards facing north to where I am standing in the larger than real life kitchen area.

Being fully lucid, but with too many ideas on how I can utilize my lucidity, I walk to the car and start tapping it on the top and front and it makes a sound just like someone slapping the side of a washing machine, with a slightly hollow effect. This makes me happy, as I start lucidly feeling all the cool areas of the outside of the car. I am able to open the unusual car door (though on the second attempt). Curiously, I am actually able to fit inside the car comfortably after being able to get in. (As I have documented before, cars are often too small to get inside of in my dreams.)

I move my feet over the floor of the car, not really touching anything with my feet, and I turn a key to hear a soft sort of engine sound. Suddenly, I take off very fast, north, right through our house. It does not matter at all because I am dreaming. There are no obstacles; I just drive through as if nothing was there to slow or block the car.

I eventually drive near a cliff, but then the car is vertically upright, facing downwards, hovering high in midair, and I am looking down at about dozen people on a rocky beach near the ocean. A few people look up at me. I start thinking about all the things I could do in my dream, but I am also thinking that I had been asleep long enough and decide to wake up.

    11. 20th May 2013 Back onto the track~

by , 05-20-2013 at 11:15 AM (Scionox's Journal of Dreams)
Finally broke the the lucid length dry spell, thanks to the competition i guess.
Now need to improve dream control and work on my expectations...

      Dream 1(fragment):

I was in some theater/shop place.

      Dream 2(fragment):

Can't recall much of start of the dream, i was doing something at home and getting messages on skype from SilentEternity, then i went to continue the nap. I was trying to fall asleep but my legs were randomly moving into some positions, i eventually fell asleep. Then i woke up and was walking to somewhere, then fadeout.
I wake up again and take off headphones,
i still hear binaurals so i am dreaming, the room is pretty accurate to waking life. I go towards the balcony door but it's closed, for some reason i decide against going outside this time, and i just start flying around inside, i feel the wings. Random thought comes to me to try to summon a dragon again, but nothing happens. I fly around the room in circles and each time furniture around changes, there are random tables, some food, vases, drawers, the time of day is changing between day and night as well randomly. While flying i decide to try transformation again, this time into one of the characters i thinked up for certain game, Scionox. I feel the change in my hands, i look at them and they are turned into kinda solid darkness, not exactly what i wanted but still success. They fade back to normal after a few seconds though. I do give it a few more tries but each try just reduced the number of fingers on my hands by one with no other effect.
Shortly i wake up, happy and then i wake up again and do an reality check, haha, false awakenings.

I had an accident in the dream. ram into a car. I thought that yesturday in no-lucid dream i had the same situation. Made RC, and decided to fly to Jupiter. I made some device on my palm - which would help me to fly there. I put it on my neck and flew. The land was far away and when i was near the space i found myself in some bushes and one of the torny branch was in my mouse. And i couldn't took it away. I made befor my eyes the device again and put it on my neck. flew and awoke.

    13. Nonlucids+WILD Experience (LD #39)

      Gentlemen's Class

My school had some kind of program for boys who didn't have dates for the prom. It was supposed to teach you how to act when you have a girlfriend and how to treat her. The class was taking place outside of an auto parts store in my town.
The teacher (who was actually my current math teacher) told us that we all had to take off our jackets and lay them down so that our girlfriend could walk over them.
(Real life notes. I've never been interested in getting a girlfriend. Really. Never. I had a crush on this one girl but the girl I liked moved away a few months ago and that was the end of it. I never had the guts to ask her out.)
Anyways. I started talking with this younger boy with black curly hair. We talked about how this class was kind of pointless because most of the people here weren't even interested in getting into a romantic relationship.

      My friend's dad died.

I was in my own neighborhood, talking with someone. We were walking down the center street of the subdivision while talking. I can't really remember what we were talking about.
When we got to the end of the block, we found that one house had this huge party going there. When I came closer, I was explained that the party was actually a funeral for my friend's father.
Now I can't remember the specifics of any of the dream characters here. The dream was very blurry. I can't remember who I was talking to on my way down the block, or which of my friends' fathers had died.
I shied away from the party and started walking back down the path toward my house. Another faceless dream character came by my side. The three of us started talking about life and things.

      WILD experience.

It was about 3:00 am when I did this. I can't remember the details of being in SP, or if I even was in SP. I just remember that I started thinking about school, and slowly a dream about school formed around me.
I was walking down the hallways. I did a nose plug reality check, but I did it without really paying attention, and didn't become lucid.
Dream characters to the rescue! Someone behind me reminded me to pay attention when I did my reality check. I did the nose plug again.
I noticed this time that I could breathe.
I continued down the hallway, but the dream was very blurry, and my lucidity was not very clear. Just like in the last dream, everyone was a faceless dream character. I can't even remember the specifics of the stabilization techniques that I employed.

I slipped out of lucidity nonetheless and went to class.

I woke up after the WILD experience about half an hour later in real time. I tried to WILD again while maintaining lucidity. It was unsuccessful.

      Pre bed: Green tea

      Total sleep time: 9 hrs

Dream quality and recall: went to bed very late, deep sleep tonight, and recall was hard. I have been trying to recall the whole first dream all day long but with little success.

Fragment1 DILD: I am looking at a male person, concentrating on top of their head. I see a second more transparent double layer shining with color, I am so aware, lucid is an understatement. I get a great sense of understanding. There is a discussion and feelings of happiness from my side. I am also talking with PennyRoyal, he is one of my good buddies in the dream. It was very vivid, but I don't have much recall. My key impressions are positive feelings, knowledge and understanding. This was my first memorable REM or Non-REM? for the night.

Fragment2: Me and somebody else are about to catch a small plane. We are in front of a very small airport, but we need to get to the other part of the airport, we are looking at a map of the area.

brief natural wake, had the idea of writing down the previous dreams but was way too tired, thought I would remember it, so went back to sleep

Fragment3: FA, I wake up in my bed, grab the tablet and start writing down the dream with Penny. My bf is near me, watching what I have typed, I stop writing, I wake up.

WBTB: I wake up, this time jot down keywords, and spend 10 mins struggling to remember more of the dream. Reviewed tasks, but had the feeling this will be it for today.

Dream4: We are in some place with my bf with a blond guy, resembling a former classmate. While he is a total stranger, but my bf doesn't mind him spending the evening with us. We talk for a long time, he is slightly arrogant. The guy decides it's time to leave so he jumps from a bridge. I watch him vanish in the air instead of falling in the water.

Fragment5: Another attempt to remember the dream with Penny, but I am trying to recall during the dream itself. This time I see a water in front of me, it is a waterfall. I think the dream with Penny might have included Angel Falls, also get some feeling of happiness, yet cannot remember more even during the dream.

Fragment6: A new thread started by Xanos

Dream7: I am with my parents in a familiar place. I have the feeling this is the second dream in that place for today. We talk about something with my mom, and I decide to go to another room. I then go out. I feel much better now, by myself, on the street, there is a fence and obviously a zoo. A lot of people are there, I join them. I see a polar bear cub, and that people are actually going beyond the fence. I want to go to where the cub is so I also cross over and am inside the section with the animals.

I look to the other side and see now a brown bear cub, it is on its back, drinking a bottle of coke. I am with a friend of mine and I tell her that the zoo keepers will think that we gave the drink to the bear and be angry with us. I try to take the bottle of coke away from the bear, but I am taking its food, it is stressed now. I am afraid of its mother, which is a much larger polar bear. We are sitting on a couch with some DCs, when the mother bear comes. I try to think of a plan to escape, without attracting her attention. I think at that point she transforms into a DC, conveys the message that she wants us to leave her territory, so I ask the DCs that we go. They get up, we are leaving, and the mother bear DC is grateful.

Comments: It's been three days in a row that I have been dreaming animals, it is high time I begin to recognize this as a dream sign! Also, upon waking up don't forget to at least count fingers or do any RC, to take advantage of those FAs.

    15. Two more lucids and some other stuff.

      by , 05-19-2013 at 05:15 PM (Kraom's Dream Journal)
Well had two lucids this morning, although they were pretty late in the morning so the quality was kind of low. But hey at least I had them..
      Onto the lucids,

First Lucid: Again there was no real precursor that I remember to this one, it was more like my classroom for 3-D animation at school just started materializing and so I just was lucid as it appeared. This time I had my mind on my three step task list for the competition. So I immediately got up from my chair that I was sitting in and just tried to fly in the classroom haha. That didn't really work so well, I didn't even float or anything. Wasn't even thinking about stabilization or anything either. So I went to a more spacious part of the classroom and tried to jump again, but to no avail. And the dream was just extremely finicky the whole time what with not stabilizing or anything.. So, after my second failed attempt the dream ended and I woke back up.

Second Lucid: Again I was back in my 3-D animation class, but this time I didn't become lucid instantaneously. I was sitting there playing some sort of game or something on a computer that I don't usually sit at. There was a cool looking flashdrive just sitting there that was white with light teal accents, so I just took it and put it in my pocket. Then it was time to leave so I got up and when I got up I noticed there was a substitute, which isn't important at all just a detail.. And then I saw what looked like someone's phone and headphones sitting next to the computer, so I was going to tell the substitute about it, but upon closer inspection it turned out to just be some power brick or something.. Now when I go outside I realize that I'm dreaming.. And again my mind darts right to my three step task list, wanting those bonus points.. So, I immediately jump over the rail of the building and fly down to where a ton of people are walking (this area actually at the school is blocked off and under construction.) So, I fly down and land and focus next on using telekinesis I see a girl's back pack hanging open with some goggles hanging out, and I focus all of my attention on them but then they just fly out of her backpack before I move my hand or anything.. So, I think well I don't know if I did that or not, I wanted to actually be sure that it's me moving the object. So, I walk around and see this big leaf on the ground, around the size of a small palm tree leaf. I focus my attention on it and visualize the imaginary string coming from my finger to move it, but it doesn't move! I stop and think, and realize I should probably stabilize or this dream's going to go the same way the last one did. So, I rub my hand together for a little bit still focusing on that leaf. I feel it, that this time it's going up, but again it doesn't.. So I kind of crouch down at this point and as I go to move my hand up in a quick motion above the leaf, I let out a sort of yell and it finally flies up into the air, I might have overdone it.. Once it's flown up into the air I realize that all the DCs stopped and are laughing at me. I stand there smiling for a second, but then think wait a second I have to interact with one of them. I start running over to them and think of yelling to them to wait, as they're walking again. But before I reach them my dream ends..
