1. The competition

by , 08-27-2013 at 09:46 PM (My Lucid Dreams)
It's been quite a while since my last quality lucid dream... hmm... could I be back on track ?
Either way, I had an awesome (and pretty long!) lucid with GREAT control (I think I only failed on thing, and I didn't even try that much). I DEILDed a lot, yet my recall isn't that poor .

Lucidity: 9/10
Vivacity: 9/10
Control: 9/10

I Somehow get lucid for no reason and test reality, just to be sure. I am on a balcony (the same as in many of my balcony related dreams) and I look around a bit. I realized I haven't stabilized the dream yet and so take a second to do it. Feels great.
I somehow feel like I am having great control (maybe the fact that I put the "control disk" in my chest in a previous lucid makes me feel more comfortable?) and observe the scenery a little more - it looks the same as in real life. I look to my left and see a random guy on here. I run near him and dive over the security fence, and frontflip my way to the ground. I make sure I land on the balls of my feet (ya know, you gotta make a safe landing ) and roll on my shoulders. My brother is at my right, and though he seems impressed, he shakes his head and "pshh"es. Doesn't matter. I remember I wanted to practice my twists and try it out IRL but I don't feel like doing that right now; instead, I head towards a random glass (big enough for a window) and decide to go through it, remembering that the competition started days ago and that I'm not doing great. I start by touching the glass and slowly pass my body through it.
I decide to do some Telekinesis. I was going to do that but I remembered my three step tasks and though that it would be smarter to start it and teleport before doing telekinesis. I take a few steps back (3rd person view) and start spinning - I have only spinned at 180 degrees when I see myself instantly dissapear and appear a few meters away, finishing my spin with another 180. Nice. I try that again but this time I fail to teleport and instead end up falling on the ground, as I try to get up I can't help but feel the dream fade away a little to fast for me to react, and I am forced to DEILD.

DEILD

I am back where I left, and I quickly stabilize the dream. I walk to a parking lot and there I decide to do my second task : telekinesis. I try and make lots of random object levitate, then try to use airbending but it isn't that great. I make a car levitate, which got pretty easy with all the practice I got, but then I remember that the TK has to be massive. Would a single car do it ?
I lift my hands up and all the cars of the parking lot get around 4 meters up in the air. I remember that there is a limit to the amount of points you can get from a single dream, so I let the cars fall back down and decide to prepare for a hopefully successful DEILD. I close my eyes and see my face frown, before waking up.

DEILD

I'm at the exact same place I left, but there are way less cars this time and I and on my knees. I forget to stabilize the dream, too exited about all that successful forced DEILD.I walk around for a bit, trying to remember what my third task was. At one point I get to think that it was massive summoning (It was actually time control). I do the silly signs that I made up and while I put my hand to the ground in slow-mo, I see myself travel through space to end up touching the floor of the balcony I was in before. The summoning didn't work. Meh, I've already done 2/3 of the task anyways.
I take a few steps and randomly order "I want a storm", talking to my dream like it was a servant. The wind around me starts blowing really hard, and I randomly teleport to a plain in the middle of a forest.

"That's the power you should give me when I try airbending", I say.

The wind is stilll blowing, harder and harder, and a guy in a yellow water proof suit comes up to me and tells me that I had to look down in order to be able to breathe, because there was gonna be so much rain that I could drown in it. The rain comes, and like the guy said I can't breathe, and even when I get to the ground the dream keeps fading out and I am forced to DEILD.

DEILD

It's only when I'm back in the dream that I realize that DEILDing was a good thing. I'm still drowning, though. I quickly get up and spread my arms wide, and the wind and the rain dissapear.

[...]

I am back on the parking with a guy around. I try airbending, and notice that my subconscious listened to me during the storm. I send a burst of wind to a tree and miss by little to rip it off the ground. I play with that for a lot of time, sending bursts onto the cars, making them fly...
At one point I see a guy drinking a soda, it would be nice to try some water bending. I extend my hand to his can and quickly enough the drink gets out of the can, and I make it splash on the guy's face.
I feel the dream fading out, and I try to prepare for a DEILD
but I fail it.

2. 22nd Aug 2013 Factions, Futuristic city, Powerful abilities, Experiments

by , 08-22-2013 at 11:38 PM (Scionox's Journal of Dreams)
I think recall is getting better.

Dream 1(fragment):

There was some vehicle warfare and tanks.

Dream 2:

Some factions were fighting for something and i was kinda in between, not belonging to any, i've had some powerful abilities and i was watching a few battles.
Then later at one point i was on some small island and i was talking to someone about the forces coming, and they indeed came, from one side a huge amount of futuristic ships/spaceships including one really big one that barely fit in the entire view. Then from the other side just as huge another armada appeared, made in more steampunk-ish style with airships. I've made a boat and left the area before forces collided.
I've had planned stuff to do, so i went to one of nearest cities, it looked huge and futuristic and it was kinda split between people with different ideals, so each section of it was having different main color and was made in slightly different style. Majority of city was section with buildings decorated with cyan lines, they were pretty glowy and it was getting nighttime, so it was a pretty view. that part of the city was controlled by some people who believed into some kind of scientific god or something like that and there were tons of labs and other science related buildings.
There i started with my plan, i secretly gotten into one of the labs, found some person that was really important and kidnapped him and he was unconscious. On the way out i used ability that drained his life force, for some kind of important experiment related to awaking some sort of power in specific people, then i was stealthing through the streets while carrying him and moving very quickly. A bit later i figured that experiment failed since person was nearly dying, so it's probably not who i was searching for. Then out of nowhere some old man in black suit appeared, which apparently was the leader of this faction. He had some abilities as well, but he didn't used them, we talked for a bit, before i used my powers and literally teleported his heart out of his body. The leader didn't died and said that he has nine more hearts, and that in fact he lets me take that for that person and that his abilities were linked to his hearts, which suddenly interested me more, i used powers to scan the heart and figured that the ability it had was some kind of energy burst. The leader disappeared shortly and i ended up transferring life energy from that heart to that person, so in the end he survived.
3. "Amazing Mirror" (LUCID)

Tuesday, August 13th 2013: "Amazing Mirror" (LUCID)
Type: WBTB/WILD

After a brief WBTB period (around 10 minutes), I begin to slowly enter sleep paralysis. After the vibrations begin I relax as usual and focus on seeing through my eyelids. A few moments later the picture becomes clearer and clearer. After about 5 seconds, my bedroom becomes extremely vivid, and I just move my dream body and sit up. Excited that I entered a dream, I take a deep breath and get up from my bed. I look down at it, thinking maybe I'll see my body lying there, but no... I just see the bed, the pillow, and the sheets. I analyze the objects in my room and laugh because it's just so vivid. I am also lucid enough to know that I'll soon have to get up for work, and worry that maybe my alarm clock will wake me up soon and ruin my lucid dream. Now I enter my living room. It is day time, actually morning, just as in reality. I see one of my friends lying on the couch, but he doesn't live here at all. I tell him this is not reality, and ask him if he already knew that. He says no, and seems a bit disappointed. I tell him I have some things to do/experiment with, and that I won't disturb him, so he can remain lying on the couch. He laughs and says ok.

In my living room there is a big mirror in the same position just like in real life. Now it dawns on me that I wanted to experiment with mirrors next time I become lucid. Very excitedly I step closer to the mirror and closer. Now I see my reflection... which is... extremely odd, just as always. But this time I am analyzing every detail of it, and it simply amazes me. My reflection is "angry", and "scary". My eyes look very focused, as if I'm ready to attack someone. One eyebrow is raised, which looks funny. In any case, the atmosphere is somewhat eerie, but it's a good feeling nonetheless. Now I move to the left, and the reflection seems to move just a bit differently, perhaps with a 1 second delay, and some minor differences in movement. Then I move to the right, and again, there is a delay and minor differences. Then I get very close to the mirror and analyze my face. One eyebrow is still raised, eyes are still scary, and the face is in "attack-mode." I actually laugh at this point, but my reflection doesn't laugh.

At this point I decide to try what I read somewhere on the internet, and that's pulling the reflection out of the mirror. First, I stick my hand inside the mirror for a second, then pull it out. It looks cool, kind of like pushing your hand into liquid. I move my hand really close, then push it inside the mirror very fast and grab my reflection's hand. I pull it out, and pull, and pull... first up to the wrist, then up to the elbow. He's pulling back very hard, and I'm pulling in my direction. My friend watches the whole thing in amusement. I tell him to help me pull him out of the mirror. Gets up and helps me. However, at this point the arm begins stretching kind of like rubber, and I see that I can't pull him out, instead it's just like a very long arm that is now almost pulled to the end of the room. My friend and I decide to let go of the arm, and it just pulls itself back very fast into the mirror, snapping back kind of like a rubber band.

A false awakening occurs. I am in my bed, but I already know it's a false awakening without doing a reality test. Everything is amazingly vivid again. I laugh and get up, but before I get to do anything... my alarm clock "really" wakes me up.
4. Work related experiment involving flatulance?

by , 08-04-2013 at 12:45 PM
So this was supposedly in my dream a work related experiment:

You know the starting point of a car. Give the driver some beans. Require him to travel at a certain speed. Measure when/where the flatulance kicks in.

Note: Car continues to be a dream sign of mine.

Earlier in the night I remembered a fragment:
An exercise machine where you can change the height of where your feet are without changing it?
5. Playing with sand

by , 07-14-2013 at 12:20 PM (My Lucid Dreams)
So after a small dryspell (blamed on various things) I finally got a fairly long lucid (~30 minutes? I feel like it was long, but I don't remember all of it).
Now the problem is the fact that after the lucid, I continued on with normal dreams. So I don't recall all of it.

Lucidity: 5/10
Vivacity: 8/10
Control: 8/10

We're in a plane, and it crashes.
(...)
I somehow get lucid somewhere after the crash; I immediately decide to fly away, but before I do that I realize that there is a lake nearby. I want to waterbend in real life.
(...)
I'm still near the lake, I don't know if I actually waterbent, but right now I'm playing with sand by telekinesis. A random guy walks up to me and asks me if I can teach him how to do that.
So I teach him. I sit down and make just a little bit of sand levitate, explaining that sand isn't the same deal as buses and cars in telekinesis. I don't tell him that it's a dream, because he might just go away if I do. I tell him that you gotta think of sand like water, because it flows and things like that.
Then I make a lot more sand fly, it almost gets to my height (I'm not sitting anymore). It make a snake-like sound.
After that I really make a LOT of sand fly in every direction. There still is that snake sound, and after seconds, I created a whole sandstorm. I don't have to concentrate on making the sand fly anymore, by now it goes by itself, I can hear a strong wind doing it for me.
(...)

__________________________________________________ ______________________________

So that was my first time in sand telekinesis, pretty awesome.

6. Testing 06/06/2013 - 07/06/2013

by , 06-06-2013 at 08:39 PM
Tonight I'm going to see if changing my immediate surroundings has any effect on my ability to lucid dream. I'll be sleeping in the guest room with heavier blankets and a thinner pillow. also since I'll be closer to my computer instead of lying in bed and trying to recall the events of my dream I'll just wake up and come straight here.

So the results were rather odd. I WBTB'd by setting myself an alarm for about five hours after I fell asleep. I had some trouble falling asleep though due to the thin pillow but the heavy blankets were very helpful because I didn't really have to make my bed again after I woke up the 1st time because I shift around a lot so there was no carnage. I remembered the 1st dream in great detail and posted it in mah DJ then went back to bed. I had two false awakenings in a row which was strange as this hadn't happened to me before so I wasn't aware of the fact that I was still technically dreaming. I'm gonna tweak the method a bit and run this again at a later stage.

7. Dreamwalker Chronicles - Second trial

by , 05-10-2013 at 09:17 PM (My Lucid Dreams)
Well, yeah. One of two lucids last night. Second trial, second episode.
I probably did not succeed but still, it's an attempt.

Lucidity : 9/10
Vivacity : 8/10
Control : 8.5/10

I'm in my History class. A random guy (whom I have nothing against in real life) is, well, just insulting me, and for some reasons I get really mad and I just walk up to him and rip his eyes off and pop them in my hands
The teacher just stays there, and when I ask the kid to apologize he says "C'mon kid, apologize".
Anyways, I get out and get lucid. I decide to enter someone's dream, and I do (or at least try) that same technique as before, except I don't remember whose dream I tried to enter.
I stand back up and notice that I am in my old primary school' s court. There are building like you find in Paris in the middle of it and where the cafeteria should be.
I do some telekinesis on random people and then decide I' m gonna make that dream EPIC.
The school's buildings are surrounding me, I get near to one and try to destroy it with telekinesis. I spread my arms wide, my hands too, and then PUSH like I was trying to break something with my palms. It' s not powerful enough, I see the building moving a bit, shaking, some rock falling off of it, but it's not destroyed; I want to pulverize it.
I begin screaming on purpose, but still, it' s not enough.
I give up on that. Instead, I grow a huge hand( around 2m wide) and swing it down. It act like an imaginary, huge blade.
The building gets cut in half. I try again on another one and it does it again. I play with that a while out of the school until I decide to come back and try telekinesis again. I get in front of a building (it' s not here IRL) and I concentrate. I concentrate so much that I scream naturally. I had my eyes closed but I opened them now. I see a really thick layer of glass get "out" of the frontage of the building; my eyesight gets ridiculously precise and I can now observe the actual stripes that get on the glass.
At one point the glass falls and I stop doing telekinesis because it is flying at me. It lands on the ground, part of it breaks.
I choose a piece of it, and I concentrate on it. I thought it would be harder, but I easily get it to float between my hands. It feels like I just released a weight. Like I dropped the glass instead of levitating it. After a while I let go off it and I talk to a girl (guy?) who tells me they got into my dream, and that it’ s awesome how I can do all I want or something like that.

Then I wake up.

8. Alcohol experiment.

by , 04-21-2013 at 02:10 AM (Raven's Roost)
Can't figure out how to edit old DJ entries so I guess I'll just post a new one altogether.

If you haven't read my last post briefly explaining this, check it out here.

Vividness: Slightly foggy but mostly clear.

Lucid?: Nope.

# of remembered dreams: 1

Dreams:

In the only dream I could recall, that happened between 9AM and 10:30, I was in a small team of thieves very similar to The Italian Job. Small teams have been a reoccurring theme the past two nights - wonder if that is trying to tell me something. We were tasked with not stealing a safe or a statue or a diamond - but a person. A businessman of some super high importance. After researching his lifestyle, we deemed it would be impossible to capture him. There was no way on earth. "No way on Earth?" I thought, suddenly having an idea.

We would steal him off of a plane.

Cut to the theft. The businessman is flying in his private jet, when suddenly two Apache helicopters fly up on either side of it - this is us. A chill black dude flies one, and a really cool girl with a rasta hat on pilots the other. I'm on a hook gun in the Apache with Rasta girl, and someone else mans that one on the other heli. As the plane begins to try to land, we shoot our hooks and they stick to both wings. Right before it touches down, our Heli's heave upwards into the air, and the plane is ours.

The air traffic control tower sees this, and they begin to fire rockets at our helicopters - evidently standard procedure in DreamLand as our pilots seem to expect it. They also send out three or four fighter jets on to our tail. To lose them, we see a gigantic tunnel that goes through a mountainside. The fighters are right on our tail, and in a last minute decision we fly two helicopters and a private jet through an automobile tunnel narrowly missing cars and the ceiling. We manage to lose them, however, and we sell the businessman for tons of money.

Then I end up at a beach, placing bear traps in the shallow depths.... Yea.

So, alcohol seemed to prevent any dream recall until I had sobered up substanitally around 9am. After that, dream quality was hazier than normal, and a bit disjointed. I had a FA after placing bear traps, but it was really brief and I was too exhausted and new to take control.
9. Experimenting with Alcohol

by , 04-20-2013 at 08:18 AM (Raven's Roost)
Hey guys.

Drank heavily at a party tonight, quite tipsy. I know that alcohol is supposed to demolish dream recall but I'd like to see its effects first hand. Tomorrow I will edit this post with my experiences.

Tonight I will meditate briefly to center myself, then I will listen to binaural beats as I fall asleep. No WBTB tonight, as I need to wake up early for an interview.

10. Don't Experiment With Poop, Son - Lab not Special Enough

by , 04-18-2013 at 11:35 AM
5:55

My son wanted to do experiment with poop. I vetoed him, saying that poop is too dirty and can only be studied by scientists in special labs. He reminded me that we are in a lab. I said that this lab is not special enough. He had some poop in sink with either red flossers or red bubble making toys. I ran water to make it go down the drain.

11. I don't know again

by , 09-21-2012 at 04:37 AM (Cinder's Dreams Gallery)
I'm probably in the role or is reading about Max in an alternate version of the webcomic Paranatural. I'm stuck with a rugby team and have to do fitness and stuff, and later got sent to some hellish camp or whatever. Later I'm myself and my parents dropped me and my friend on some kid science museum. She went and played on those kid slider thing (extra detail: she went headfirst) and I walked around and found some kind of gym. Later I had an FA except without the awakening part. I'm walking down for breakfast and the guys upstairs in the building were trying to spill drink on me even though we're like 5 metres away. They're celebrating about winning rugby or some shit and I reminisce about nearly losing. I kicked on a rope thinking that it was a trash but actually it's some delicate experiment and the teacher asked me to put it back in place.

The amount of sports in this dream is ludicrous.
12. The Experiments and TotM...

by , 05-28-2012 at 03:02 AM (My brain and I)
dream : comments : lucid
28th of May, 2012

Took a Galantamind pill at 8:45am and was convinced that I was gonna fail coz I was awake for so long.

There was basically no non-lucid portion here; for all intents and purposes it was a WILD without the WILD. I'm also starting to get better at controlling that 'ever forward' sensation of lucid's where you kind of have half control and the other half is just pulling you around. Or is that just me?

Anyway.

I got out of bed in a house that was completely different to my own. "Aw yeah!"

It was kind of unstable and I was really keen not to wake up so I was just strolling around and chilling. There were people sleeping in beds in all the rooms but I didn't explore too thoroughly.
Mum came out but I basically ignored her and kept walking around. At some point in my exploration, a miniature gorilla thing came out of the doorway and I immediately thought "Hm, why not?" in reference to the basic TotM (better late than never!) so I just jumped at the little guy and appeared in his body. I looked at my arms and legs and it was instead like I was wearing a gorilla costume and still had my shoes on. I decided that wasn't good enough so I did a backflip out of his body and jumped out the window to start my journey. I was higher than I thought and a bit surprised, but I'm getting much better at flying so I kinda fell with speed into the ground across the road.

SMASH!

I slammed down into a toy tricycle and then ate some grass. (Mzzck mentioned something about this stabilising technique once, and it's completely infested my dreams so I can't help but do it!)

I looked around at my surroundings and was, as always, humbled by how amazing the dream world is. It was a beautiful day with birds singing and lovely warm sun. Where I was standing was out the front of a garden nursery and I walked in and looked at some flowers before mum came out of the house and said something to me. I took that as my leave and jumped into the sky.
It was really 'pully' and I didn't have any physical control; kinda like I was on the end of a fishing line or something. But I just went with it and flew backwards and forwards before going extremely high. Probably around a kilometre.
There was an ordinary town below me and I couldn't help but think that down there, a million DC's were just living out their odd little lives without me knowing.
Anyway, I asked to be put down and began descending on the suburb. I landed in an ordinary back yard under someone's clothesline.

A group of young people were playing with their dog and they didn't seem to notice me. After they went inside, I followed them in via their laundry door. It was really empowering to do this. Like breaking and entering without any consequences! I walked through their house following them but when I turned a corner into their living room, some dude came around at the same time and looked at me. I jumped straight into his body and this time felt it be more successful. It was like I was his shadow and slowly closed in on him.
I walked after the other group and met them in the bathroom.
It was two girls, who, on closer inspection, were two of the same guy in drag.

I put my arm around them and looked in the mirror and saw that I was still the other dude. Success.

At that point I felt myself breathing in real life and realised I was waking up. Lay still for a DEILD.

I came to while washing my face in a basin. I looked in the mirror to my left and pulled a weird "yeah!" dream face then went out.
I was in a courtyard out the front of a house. It was quite quaint, if not a little cluttered. They had a grape vine running along a trellis on the roof. I instantly began searching for a prism so I could do an experiment with the sun I'd seen earlier. I have no idea where this idea came from- guess I'm just a naturally experimentative kinda dude.

I looked in a toolbox and found one but it was all scratched and curved instead of straight. That's never gonna work. I tried to reform it but it was unsuccessful so I went into another house and found a proper one in a kid's bedroom.

Strolled back outside and sat on the road, appreciating the sun and it's warmth again. The sun was behind a tree which was moving to keep blocking it so I walked up the road a bit to get a clearer view. There were a group of thuggish looking guys ahead so I threw some sand at them for funsies and then commanded them to just watch what I was doing instead. I got the prism and positioned it so that it cast the spectrum onto the sidewalk. It was a pretty successful representation, but was obviously just my mind creating it; I don't think light actually exists in dreams to be altered. I played around with the prisms positioning and it went through a range of pretty incredible things. At one stage it was a glowing, ringed, rainbow planet among a multicolored nebula/aurora. Then it split back into the colours except each one had a different world on it.

At that point I entered a dream within a dream, which told the backstory of these different planets. When I came back, I was in a slightly different position at a building site.

I remembered that my brother had asked if you could do stuff like bending roads in dreams so I decided to give that a go. I was standing on a gravel pathway with wooden skirting boards and forced it to begin bending. Instead of being smooth, it was quite destructive and began cracking and breaking while changing direction. Like it would in real life, I suppose. I decided I wanted to try on a proper road so I went off to find a good curved street. Now that I'm writing this, I realise I could probably have just made a straight road bent instead. The things you think when you're actually awake, huh?

I went back up to the road and was jumping around clapping my hands, which I take to be this dream's version of a hand-rub stabilisation. It actually worked really well because as well as the physical sensation, it also gave off sound which helped.

As I walked down the road there were a bunch of trees that had been chopped down so I gracefully jumped from log to log just for the sake of it. As I was doing that, some girl in a crowd said "I want to be an actor".
"Do it!" I replied, "you're beautiful!"

Feeling cool about myself I kept going on my way.

I couldn't for the life of me find a curved road. Every one that looked curved was straight when I got there (I suppose that means I was being successful in my attempts!)

I went on quite a long journey down streets and came to an avenue with beautiful green and red trees arching the road, which I jumped up and grabbed the leaves of. The buildings here had really interesting architecture and shortly I came to a squat little building complex. There was a delivery guy at the back of his van getting boxes out so I happily walked past and pushed him into the back!

I came to a sign that said something like:
____________________
<-- Office Journey -->
____________________

But it wasn't exactly that.
To be honest I don't remember what it said. I just wanted to draw a sign.

Anyway I went to the right and was at some kind of learning institute. I kept looking round and round for curved roads and ended up in a dodgy back-area with loading docks and stairs and underpasses which eventually turned into a very L.A looking crowded street.
There was a girl standing near a billboard and I went up and said "Pretty smoggy, huh?"

She said that it was actually the 'bloom' and when I looked closer the smog was millions of little glowing insects. At that point I decided I'd better wake up otherwise I'd forget all this stuff so I woke up watching a YouTube video. And then I actually woke.

Whew! That's a long one.

Looking back, I realise that most of the lucid dreams I've written have been due to Galantamind. That shit definitely works, but I do worry that I've become reliant on it!

Better than heroin I guess!

13. My best lucid yet 5/12/2012 PLUS my experience with stabilizing awareness +++ dream from 5/14

by , 05-18-2012 at 12:47 PM
=D I just noticed, but this is almost exactally 1 year from my last post!

So, I have this guy I have been trying to contact in my dreams. BUT we are on completely opposite sides of the world, so finding a time to sleep when he is asleep too is really difficult. My question to everybody before I get into de good stuffs. Do you think he can feel me calling to him even when he is awake? He's spiritually aware like me sort of.

THE DREAM 5/12
I may have had a dream or two before this one, but I can't remember them at all. From the first moment the dream formed, I was lucid.

~In real life, I had had a VERY stressful week with school AP testing and all that jazz. I had just finished my last test on Friday, and it had a lot of issues.. Luckily I turned it in on time ^^ and from then on I was just drained. So, I have learned that lucid dreams are more common [to me] just after releasing a lot of stress!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, first thing I notice is that I'm in my home. Difference is, it was illuminated like golden sepia tone-ish. I immediately freaked out a little, thinking "ohmigosh, I need to stabilize like what the internets said.. I tried looking down at my hands. It didn't work out well. My hands looked like triple vision, and they felt like it too. Just looking at them made me dizzy and unfocused. That itself made me freak out even more, so I tried out another technique, spinning. That didn't work either. Spinning made me tip a bit like when you lose your footing in a deep pool. For a few seconds I just stood still. It helped a bit, and my vision cleared. The best way from my experience, was to just walk. I didn't really think it into being, but feeling something like gravity keep me on the ground while I walked stabilized my focus a whole lot.
From then on, I just stayed in my house, experimenting. I grew different body parts ;D and made my dog appear, played with him for a while. I ended up getting bored. I wanted to try out different scenery.
So, I walk outside, and I see my neighborhood. Its night, and police cars and fire engines crowd the streets over on the right. "Uh uh, no way" I say! The worst thing I could imagine would be experiencing a nightmare while I'm 'awake' so to speak. Especially when I don't know the first thing I'm doing. So, I keep walking straight ahead, ignoring the scene. As I walk, he night seems to melt away. I don't pay much attention to the world around me, but the ground looked like a meadow in the early morning light.
I tried calling to that guy I mentioned above. {Im mentioning this guy a lot in this post, so from now on I will call him Gach} At first I just tried calling his name, seeing if he would just appear from my saying it That didn't work, so I tried making him appear from my visual memory of him. The ground bulged a bit, but it didn't work. So, I tried one last time. That time, I reached out my hand, remembering the last time I held his face. I willed everything in me to just focus on that feeling. I had a little boom go off inside of me, and his face appeared right where my hand held it. His face was filled with love [hard to describe] and I felt that he missed something. That vision only lasted a second..
Anyway, walking on worked ^^ and I end up in an icy cliff place. I remember talking with some guy there. I think he was a climber. From then on, I can't remember.
THE NEXT DREAM 5/13
I can only remember a few things that happened in this one. I was lucid, but I didn't try to control anything. I went along with everything that happened and explored a bit.
I'm in some sort of laundry shop. I was somewhere else before that, doing who knows what, but I can't remember right now. SO, who else would be behind the counter than Gach? Immediately, I am overcome with doubt. "Okay, I'll just get my clothes and leave. He won't notice me." I talk to him a bit, order my stuff. All the while, I can see/sense him looking up at me every couple of seconds. I tried something crazy out though. Dream characters are from myself, but I did it anyways. I tried reading his mind. His mind didn't feel like my own. His thoughts were completely independent of my own. I was surprised for a moment, but we talked a bit, and I realized it really was him. We had a lot of fun, fell in love all over again. AND THEN.. ALIENS! A giant spaceship comes out of the sky. FEAR fills me to the brim, and yet I feel invigorated all at the same time. Oh, and I am back outside in front of my house for some reason while this happens. A huge monster truck-looking yellow and red space ship pops out of the big one and starts blasting waves of 'sound?' Waves ripple through the ground, bouncing me up and down. Everyone else runs away or in the house. 'course I'd be the only fool left out their thinking 'oh cool' while being tossed about by galactica surround-sound.. Another copy of that booming space ship pops out of the big one and does the same thing. The booms feel like their injecting awesomeness powers into me, but I still try bouncing on my butt right before the ripple hits, just in case the aliens are doing some freaky experiment or something. ~END
This morning I awoke still not remembering anything. Last night I was not as focused and had dramatically less effort was given. I felt the night before I was too focused and too excited I was not able to sleep. I was not surprised when I did not remember anything. This morning however. I haven't really fallen to sleep at any reasonable hours. After smoking marijuana several times a day this may also affect my ability to remember my dreams. We will find out. Also I plan on not sleeping until after my class tomorrow morning (14 May 2012). Also I have been taking vyvanse.
Notes:
-An alarm or sudden wakening may help to remember dreams.
-Television on have any affect on dreams? (haven't left on yet)
-Maybe fall asleep at a normal time. (have been around 4-6AM)
-Nap may increase chances of lucidity.
-Wake up early, after an hour go back to sleep.
-Start writing in dream journal right after awakening.
15. LD#12 / OBE experiment
Tuesday, Jan.3, 2012 Bed 1:30am GM+choline 5:49am
I set up an experiment in case I have an LD/OBE in my room.
The Experiment:
I wrote 10 individual capital letters on small, 1x1 inch squares of paper.
New to this but have some questions-c.jpg
Without looking at them, I shuffled them and picked one of them out. I placed this one on top of the cabinet in the kitchen. I had to use a little footstool to reach, even then I just barely reached. Rest of them were put away, so I can’t see them even by accident. My plan was in an LD/OBE to fly up there and look what letter it is and then confirm in the morning.
Woke up at 5:49 after a dream and took GM4mg +300mg choline.
LD
I’m in a house with my friend K and her 2 kids. It’s about 10 am and I’m about to take a nap to LD. K tells me, not to sleep too long, because J will have some recital/show in her school and we are going to attend.
I wake up and immediately fly out the window. Before I get too far I remember, that I wanted to check the top of the cabinet. I come back, kids want to let me in through an opened window but it’s too small so I have them open a balcony door.
Now this following part is not too clear to me as in order of events, because there were 2 FAs in between.
I ask a guy in the kitchen, I think he is a fireman, to get me the paper off the cabinet. He hands me the paper and says here you go. I look at it and it’s a small piece of paper, maybe 5x3 inches and has some math problems on it. It resembles a test we used to take in grade school.
I search among the text for a letter, that would be different. There is a stamped “U” in light blue ink, with serif. I write only sans-serif. Rest of the text is handwritten.
New to this but have some questions-%3Bu%3B.jpg
The paper doesn't seem right and I realize it's FA. I decide to check again. I pull up a footstool and look on top of the cabinet. There is more papers just like the one the fireman showed me. There is also some chocolate and a plastic bag with stuff I can’t see. I look for my paper but I don’t see it. So I look at another math paper and again I look for something different. There is a handwritten letter that looks like this:
New to this but have some questions-ld.jpg
I read it as U.
I have another FA.
I’m flying outside again and land on a top of tall building, that continues as a street. There is a bad guy on lower level. I’m holding a bunch of tree branches so I break some off and throw it at him as grenades. I aim another branch at another guy and shoot it as a rifle. I fly away. I’m trying to get to the orbit to look at Earth. But I don’t stop in time and I overshot the orbit. I look around but don’t see the Earth or the moon.
I’m back on the streets and the town is getting cartoonish.
I wake up IWL and go look at the paper. I'm disappointed, because I read it as C. But as I put it down on the counter, it turnes and I realize, it also could be an U.
New to this but have some questions-u.jpg
I didn’t have fast reaction as last time. Barely any images and I though maybe the GM in capsule was not 4mg, or something went wrong. I got very weak vibrations 3-4 times, but nothing materialized from it. I got a fairly weak headrush 2 times, and that’s how I entered a dream. One time I was able to change direction while in acceleration and even levitate up twice, but each time I very gently came back down. Towards the end, I saw movie of some people in a house, but I think one just got murdered so I was not eager to enter that one for sure. Both FAs I RCd finger/palm.
I'll put another piece of paper to the top of the cabinet so it's ready for my next LD.
