    1. Dancing With Myself

      by , 12-11-2014 at 07:28 PM
This was a very fun false awakening I had on Saturday morning, Dec 6 (2014). I woke in bed, beside my wife, to see our daughter standing between us, on the bed with her back to the headboard. She looked about 3 years old. I should of realized I was dreaming, because my daughter is now 15 (and in Heaven), but I didn’t figure it out. I really didn’t care, because what happened next was so much fun!

I stood up in bed to face her. My legs somehow went right through the bed and I was standing on the floor facing her. I reached my hands forward and we held hands. I carefully drew her closer to me. Her face lit up with happiness. When she smiled I noticed she had adult teeth, and that her eyes were full of life. Then, out of nowhere, a Billy Idol song started to play, ‘Dancing with Myself’! We started to dance while holding hands. The music was so loud! She was giggling and laughing. I tickled her belly button. This went on for about 1 minute, and it seemed soooo real, and was so much fun! I then woke up and quickly marked the awesome dream experience in my journal.
    2. The Golden Fishing Hook

      by , 12-04-2014 at 01:43 AM
Here’s another lucid dream (or OBE) from Aug 12, 2014. No LD last night, so I’ll add a memorable one from my dream journal.

I was lying in bed patiently waiting for the next dream to start. My mind was conscious, yet my body was asleep. I could feel violent vibrations originating in my torso and extending out to my limbs. These were coming in waves. I knew something was about to happen! Suddenly, somebody crawled into bed with me. It was my wife! I was a bit disappointed that she woke me up because I was just having ‘the vibrations’. I was sleeping in the guest room that night, because my CPAP machine was driving my wife nuts. CPAP, great for sleep, hard on romance. She didn’t say anything to me, we just snuggled for a bit, and then she moved over to the other bed. Little did I know this was a false awakening? To my surprise, my dear daughter then crawled into bed beside me! Seeing my daughter made me instantly lucid. We snuggled for a bit, and then I told her that mom’s in the other bed, can you see her? She looked at the other bed, and said, “No.” I then looked, and sure enough, my wife wasn’t there. I then tickled my daughter’s stomach, and said nonsense words, like I use to say when she was a baby. My daughter laughed and giggled.

She then jumped out of bed, and asked that I follow her. Standing at the end of my bed, she reached up to grab something, and then passed me a gold fishing hook, with a golden spring around shank. This is a very unique hook. I looked at it, and it was the exact same as a hook I found a week earlier, stuck in my cabin’s front door! I was shocked by this! My daughter then asked me to come explore with her, and she opened my bedroom door and ran out. I was about to leave, and follow, but I could hear my CPAP mask leaking air on my face. I turned around and saw my body lying on the bed, asleep. I walked up to my body and adjusted the mask, so the leak would stop hissing. This worked! I turned around and ran for the door to follow my daughter. I got too excited, and then I woke up consciously from the LD, but my body was still asleep.

I stayed perfectly still and focussed on returning to my room, so I could go and explore with my daughter. This worked, but I was no longer lucid! I was lying in bed again, and then a black cat jumped up on my bed beside me. I petted the cat’s back and then its stomach. Btw, black cats are my dream sign, but I didn’t clue into the fact that I was dreaming. Darn, I should have done a reality check.

I went to my cabin, the weekend following this dream, and found that hook, and it now hangs in my bedroom shelf. Also, as an additional synchronicity, I was visiting a physic medium a week or two later, in an effort to connect with my daughter. The medium described this dream to me with some detail; without any input from me whatsoever, and she said my daughter wants me know this was an OBE, not a lucid dream, and she wanted me to follow her out of the bedroom. Well, who am I to argue with that, and why would I? I did manage to follow her, a few months later, in lucid dream titled, ‘A Little Noodles Please’.
    3. A Little Noodles Please

      by , 11-27-2014 at 08:30 PM
I had a semi-lucid dream about flying in a hot air balloon, and woke up after the dream had ended. It was around 4 Am and I decided to do a WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream). My body was asleep, yet my mind was conscious, waiting for the dream to start.

As I was lying in bed, I could feel my dream body floating slightly in my bed. It was kind of like hovering in and about where my body should have been, but it was not connected too well. I hope that makes sense. Anyway, I felt somebody pulling on my calf! I opened my dream eyes, and quickly looked down to see who was pulling on my calf, and I saw my daughter standing there! She was glowing faintly white, and was wearing light blue clothes. She quickly ran into the closet and hid. I jumped out of bed, leaving my body behind, and ran to the closet and reached in. I could feel arms everywhere. There were a couple of (or maybe three) dream figures in there! I heard some giggling and laughing. I realized I was only wearing my gitch. I thought I needed to get some clothes on quickly, so as not be half naked in front of these wonderful dream figures, and then I was suddenly wearing my housecoat. It just magically appeared. My daughter jumped out of the closet, and we walked out of my bedroom. I told my daughter, I love her and I miss her, and she said, “I know.” We both started to cry.

We walked down the hallway, and then we headed down the stairs. To my surprise there was a fancy restaurant where the foyer should have been. The restaurant had scattered groups of people, sitting around and chatting. It was split into two areas by a stand-up bar, the lounge area, and the dinner area. The walls were covered with satin brown panelling, and floor was white ceramic tile. It was like a shrimp and steak house! I asked my daughter to hold my hand so I could stay focussed, and not lose my lucidity. She did, and we walked past the lounge area into the restaurant. We then turned around and headed back to the lounge area. I asked her about lucid dreaming, what it meant, and she turned her back to me and didn’t want to discuss it. Fair enough, so we walked back over to the lounge area. I thought maybe we could grab a couple of drinks and some food, then sit down and have a conversation. I asked the lady at the counter for a coffee and Baileys. As I was waiting, I started to sing, “You know an OBE, yeah you know me, you know an OBE, yeah you know me.” I sang this to remind me that I was dreaming, so I wouldn’t forget, and slip into a mindless state. The lady at the counter was taking soooo long. I was wasting valuable lucid dream time waiting for coffee. Never again will that happen!

The table of people beside me noticed my OBE song. One dream figure said, “What did he say?”, and the other replied, “I think he said OBE?” Then they started to whisper back and forth. I looked at my daughter who was now sitting with 3 of her friends at a table, and they kept turning their heads to look at me. My niece came walking by and was making a commotion. I asked the lady at the counter again for a coffee, and she put a bag of chocolates in front of my face and said, “Here!” I thought, oh whatever, I’ll take the chocolates. I looked down and reached into my pocket to find some money to pay her. Holy smokes, I was no longer in my housecoat. I was now wearing yellow shorts and a T-shirt. How did that happen? I fumbled through my pockets to try and find some money, but there was none. As I reached to grab the bag of chocolates a toonie fell from my wrist, hit the floor, and then rolled against the counter. The restaurant went silent. I turned and asked my daughter to come over and here so we can order her some food. She quickly came over, and I asked her what she would like. She said, “A little noodles please.” She had her head down, and she looked like something had gone wrong. I thought oh crap, so much for blending in and being inconspicuous. My daughter looked up, and past me, like there was somebody standing behind me, and then I instantly woke from the dream.
    4. Breaking the dry spell

      by , 11-21-2014 at 10:01 AM
Finally, after a month and a half without lucids and with the poorest dream recall, tonight I've had two lucids (short, but still, lucids) thanks to some MILD affirmations.

The first dream took place at my grandma's. I was at the kitchen because I was going to make myself a sandwich. I reached for the fridge and saw a test tube with the white of an egg in it. I thought an omelette was a good idea, but that I needed the whole egg. For some reason, I went to the living room and quickly noticed the Swiss wall clock my grandma has wasn't a clock at all, but a painting of a landscape. I shouted at the top of my lungs: "this is a lucid dream!" I was so excited after all this time that the dream started shaking, so I leaned against the wall and asked myself to calm down. A few seconds afterwards, I ran towards the stairs and shouted: "from now on, I will have lucid dreams often". I then heard ny grandma asking me not to shout and for a second I feared I may not be dreaming, but I was pretty sure I was.

Then, I "awoke" and laid still for a few seconds recalling the dream. When I started writing it down on my phone, I noticed it was cutting fragments and pasting them elsewhere, and it was taking me a long time to write the dream. Finally I realised I had to be in a false awakening, so I asked to awake for real so I could write the dream properly, and the false awakening too.
    5. amazing false awakening

      Hi Gig*

Last week Saturday 23 Jan (2010) a long term guest and friend here at the boarding house told me he was going interstate for a month to have a holiday with friends. Later he handed me his key as he enthusiastically pulled a suitcase trolly out the front door, heading off to the Interstate bus station.*

A couple of days later, say, Wednesday 27 January, I was coming out of my room and as I walked down the corridor I saw the guest (Steve) come down the stairs and turn to the bench, checking to see if he had any mail. As he picked up and looked at the envelopes I thought "he is supposed to be at the Gold Coast for another 3 weeks with friends having a holiday".*

      I distinctly thought:*

"I guess things have gone wrong for him to be back so soon but I will not pri as he probably won't want to talk about it".*

I said "Hi Steve" and with out looking up he said "Hi Deb". And I walked passed him to the kitchen and put the kettle on and went on with my day.*

I didn't see him Thursday or Friday or Yesterday. So, to day, while I was cleaning I asked some other guests if they had seen Steve in the last couple of days. They hadn't.*

So that was a blinking DREAM.*

It is as if my mind is going to extraordinary lengths to get me LUCID.*

There was absolutely NOTHING dreamlike about that experience, except that, in the dream, I knew he shouldn't be there cos he was at the Gold Coast having a holiday with friends.*

      Just thought I'd share that.

I found that old experience just now as I was reading som of gigs interesting old posts on another old site and decided that I want it in my dream journal.

Steve returned after his month holiday. That was over 4, almost 5 years ago.
    6. Bugs Bunny, Nazi's, and Mr. Miles

by , 11-16-2014 at 11:17 PM (Xanous' Dream Journal)
      3:44AM
Joyce from work is holding me like I am a small child. I am trying to fall asleep but can't because she is talking about eating with another lady. I try to talk and move but I feel so sleepy and lethargic. This reminds me of a dream sign and I think I should nose plug but I don't have the energy to try. I really think this might be a dream but I tell myself to give is some more time.

I have an FA were I am trying to DJ but nothing is working right and I can't move. I realize I am dreaming and decide to wait a little longer.

I have another FA in a car. I am with my wife and her mom. I have false memories about camping and fishing. It's a shame we didn't get to fish much after driving all that way. I as my mother-in-law where we went camping. She says Michigan. Thinking of Wurlman I ask were in Michigan. She tells me it was near St. Florentine(not a real place) I an feeling really guilty about having camped in Michigan but totally not going to Wurlman's wedding. I tell her something about my friend living in near there and we should have drove a little farther.

      5:05AM
I watch a movie of WWII paratrooper Bugs Bunny diving out of an airplane. His chute doesn't open and he does an impossible belly flop in the water. The environment is realistic but Bug's is cartoon giving it a Roger Rabbit feel. Bugs then tries to deploy his inflatable raft but that's not working either. He swims off.

I am standing in an old fashioned store in Nazi Germany. I am working as a spy with several others. Bugs Bunny is talking about calling customer service about his parachute and raft not working. There is a more modern corded phone on the wall but it is unplugged. I try to help him out but I am afraid of getting caught.

For some reason I am staring off at a wall. A Nazi soldier walk's by and yells at me to get back to work. I drop the phone cord and leave Bugs Bunny to fend for himself. As I wonder around I see there are many unusual items on displays as well as people working on wire harnesses. I tell myself that I used to do that back home and could probably jump back into it to blend in. However, I am not sure why they are building something like this in this time period. Certain items start to look really steampunk and I dismiss it as secret advancement.

I pay close attention to various tools for sale in hard plastic packages. They all look really alien but I can see how each one has a specific use. The detail is extremely vivid and interesting. Had I become lucid I doubt I would have done anything any different.

After a minute or two I find a familiar face. Some guy that looks like celebrity that I don't know the name of. He's one of the other spies. He tells me that he's really working for the Nazi's now and is planning to stay. I notice he is wearing modern clothes but I just think he's not in uniform anymore. He's really quit. I look down and have a brown military uniform on but I am holding a t-shirt with a Captain America symbol on it in black and gray colors distressed colors. I am in some conversation with the man as he walks out of the store. Not wanting to look like I am stealing the shirt, I stop at the door and yell some final words at him. When I turn around, I hear a faint alarm.

I look down at the shirt and see no sensor tag on it but I feel like the alarm is because of me. I look back and see the man come in. I feel like my cover is blown and I begin to hear theatrical pulsing danger music. I tell him that we are in trouble and need to run but he doesn't seem convinced. I say, "Don't you hear the music?" Then is dawns on me that this is related to a lucid dare I was going to try. I know I am dreaming and don't need to nose plug. Unfortunately, the dream crashes right at that moment.

      6:48

I am sitting on the couch next to my mom. She tells me my old elementary school teacher, Mr Miles, just passed away and flashes a vivid photo of him. I am said and tell my mom he was my favorite teacher of all time. I cry a little and my wife comforts me. I want to see that picture of him again but my mom can't find it. I take her camera and look through he pictures stored on memory. I ask mom how she knows he died and she tells me that she just talked to his wife. I am confused why she's been talking to her. My mom knows my old teacher's wife? Takes really weird. My vision is blurry and I can't really tell what I am looking for on the camera so I try to look him up online on my laptop. I try to type his name and the town and school he taught in but I can't get anything to work right. All of this reminds me of how when I have a FA and I try to type in my DJ. I think it can't hurt to do a nose plug and I am shocked by the result.

Lucid now, I stand up and run forward into another room with some random DC's chilling in some chairs. I fly around the room with my arm out like an airplane. The DC's smile at me and seem to accept this as normal. There is a strong feeling of G-forces in my gut as I circle around back to the door.

I go back into the living room but it is now a totally different house. It's way more spacious that anything I've even been in and every room and has really light brown thick fluffy carpet. The walls are nearly the same color but it has a serene and heavenly feel to it. I rush through at kitchen with a large island and come to some sort of den or family room. My father is relaxed on a cough giving me a knowing look. I fly around this room a few times but I become preoccupied thinking I had a goal in mind. I try for several seconds but it just wont come to me. Not wanting to ruin the dream, I decide to forget about it.

I come back around to the dad DC and take his hand trying to pull him off the cough. I want him to go adventuring with me but he won't move. For some reason, I notice his hand feels funny. My sense of touch is numbed but his hand feels spongy. I try to ignore it, "Dad, I am having a dream. Get up lets go." He waves me away. "But Dad, it's a lucid dream."

I fall to the floor now and the dream goes dark. I feel the carpet and try to stabilize myself. The plush is deep and I dig in holding on. My left leg twitches and it feel as if I am on my stomach. I wonder if it's my physical body but I know I am not sleeping on my stomach. Then, I feel as if my feet are being pulled up and I wonder if my Dad DC was an actual entity if he sees me being sucked into a vortex from the dream world into the waking world. I can almost see it in my mind. I hear strange noises and then I wake up.
    7. 11/12/14: 2 DILDs, 2 DEILDs

      by , 11-15-2014 at 06:00 PM (Threecat's Dreamtime)
Wake up around 2-ish, decide to induce. I practice MILD, then follow it up with SSILD. I suddenly "come back to myself," as though I had been in deep thought. Am I dreaming? I nose pinch and can breathe easily. Lucid. I get up off of the floor and fly up to the ceiling. I pass right through and into darkness. I fly through darkness for a bit, before imagining that things are brightening up around me--things do begin to brighten up. I realize I am flying over snow. I see the snow and think it would be fun to transform into an arctic fox (in dream remember sivason talking about this in his DJ). I touch down on the snow and begin running on all fours. I then attempt my transformation. I do feel some sensation in my body, and think it might be working, so I life a hand up out of the snow to check. Nope, still a hand! I wake up.

I sit like this for some time, and finally settle for lying supine. I notice the clock reads 3:00, which isn't as early as I thought. I feel some relief. I notice, however, that this guy wants to come into the upstairs bedroom with me:

No thanks. I manage to shut the door on him, though he does try to open the knob. I lock it, then examine the wooden door. It is flimsy wood, but I feel confident he can not get through. It then occurs to me that I might be dreaming. I nose pinch. Lucid. I open the same door (the xenomorph is gone) and I try flying down into the kitchen; however, I just fall. Some DCs are here but I ignore them, and head towards the front door. The house has become my house growing up. I think about phasing through a window, but then decide not to. I think decide to phase through the front door. I am having difficulties so I just open it and go out. I continue to try to fly, with minimal to no success. A dog runs up to me and I befriend him. I try to remember the TotMs but cannot. I wake up, and DEILD, but can't remember the dream later.

I wake up and DEILD again, into a blackness. I wait for the dream to appear. Suddenly, a cartoon bobble-head pops into existence, along with an interactive computer screen. I click a button with my finger, and make a "click-click" sound with my mouth before realizing that sounds stupid. The screen adjusts to show characters talking with each other. I try to focus on the action. Some bobble-headed kids hanging out by a trash can (?) or maybe in a kitchen, discussing something. I realize, however, that I would like to be in the cartoon, so begin stretching the screen with my finger. I manage to make the screen surround me almost entirely, but am still not able to merge with the cartoon. I then notice there are viewing options. An interactive porno would be just the thing, I think, and begin searching through the selections. I find a good one but then I wake up. Try to DEILD again, and seem to have transitioned, but when I check, I am fully awake. I get up and start the day (yuck).

    8. Strange Dream #3 - The Weirdest

      by , 11-11-2014 at 05:44 PM
Alright, so the weirdest dream out of all of them happened last night. As I drifted off, I saw what I wanted to believe was Jeff the Killer (The Creepy pasta Story), and, at first, I thought I was in a sleep paralysis, but I could move! I think this might have been a False Awakening, as I woke up at the beginning of the dream. After I saw this, I got up and ran to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror, and my reflection said "Austin (My name)... You're dreaming!" Then I ran outta the bathroom and reality checked (Counted my fingers) and I saw that I had 6 fingers! After that, everything went black and I woke up. This was EXTREMELY weird. I'm kinda new to this, so if anyone has an explanation on why I had a false awakening at the BEGINNING of a dream, please post in the comments. It looked like a very real projection of my house! I even woke up in the dream at the exact same spot that I fell asleep at!
    9. TOTM success-leaf pile

      by , 11-10-2014 at 05:16 PM (dolphin's dreams)
I wake up in bed. Something feels off so I do a nose plug. I can breathe! I can't quite believe it so I do another nose plug. I can breathe! I get up from bed. The dream in very unstable; I can hardly move. I must stabilize it. What do I do! Think, think, think! I summon a random dc, a young adult African American male. I shake hands with him and introduce myself. We'll call him Efrain. I feel more mobile, the dream is stabilizing nicely. I ask him where the leaves are so we can play in them. We go into the backyard and turn the corner to the left. The backyard is a good sized fenced in area with a big lawn and lots of piles of large leaves. I look for a pile that looks big enough and flop on top of them. The leaves are soft but slightly crunchy. I look for a bigger pile and gather some leaves together to make one a couple of feet high. I flop on top of them. Flop! I feel wonderful, feeling the satisfaction of completing a task which took me several lucid dreams to accomplish. I part ways with Efrain and jump up to fly. I'm in a neighborhood in the hills. I decide to crest the hill in front of me to see what's on the other side. I crest it and find a valley filled with suburbia, just like where I live IWL. I fly to the freeway and turn to left, deciding to fly along the freeway going through the valley. I'm flying with good control and speed. My dream is very stable and is getting longer than my typical lucid dream. I try to recall details from the dream, trying to avoid thinking about waking up. What was that DC's name? I reach the end of the valley to an open area. There are a few large, unusual buildings marking the gate to the valley. It looks like a couple of large rings with chains on the side? I'm looking at the building, trying to memorize the details. I wake up.
    10. Car Flight GTA Style

by , 11-09-2014 at 09:49 PM (Xanous' Dream Journal)
      #379 - DILD - 5:37AM (2 of 2)

I am looking in the back seat of the car for something and can't find it. I look up and see the car is rolling forward. I remember that I was in bed just a moment ago and know it's a dream. I recall my conversation with Wurlman during the podcast about having fun with cars so I go for it. I have other goals but I decide to go ahead and hop in the driver seat. The car has rolled off the street it was parked on and heading toward a wooden fence. I gun it and ram through. The feeling of invincibly surges through me. I am surprised by a second chain-link fence and crash through that one as well. It has a nice sound effect.

I come onto a four-lane highway going through a residential area. I follow the road going faster and faster. The car becomes slightly hard to handle during turns and I clip the side of a house. I don't care; this is all really fun. After a bit, I notice my view pulls back into a 3rd person perspective. I see a downtown area like on GTA5 and the dream looks very much like a video game. I notice I am not in my car anymore but some light blue SUV. I make the car go as faster (as I can imagine in this scenario) as I hit a sharp hill. It was only natural to take to the air at this point. I make the car fly up around the sky scrapers and I do a sharp turn to look around. I enjoy the view of the city, but then, I lose control and the car takes a fast dive into a busy street. There is some fiery explosions but it is mostly obscured by a large, thick cloud of opaque, black smoke.

Suddenly, my younger daughter opens the bedroom door whining about something. I assume she's had a bad dream. My wife asks her whats wrong and my daughter replies, "The ants are living with the five."
I lift my head up and say, "What?" I assume she's either had a bizarre dream and is still out of it or this is typical DC nonsense.
I become semi-lucid but I feel very confused about where I am and who's bed I am in. For some reason I think I am a child again sleeping next to my mom as my dad works the night-shift. Slowly, I make sense of everything and try to make a DJ entry. However, as I fumble around the feeling of heavy SP, I remember this isn't going to work in a dream. I notice now that my arms and head are vibrating, though I feel like I am awake and moving around. I am not really sure if this is even possible, so I relax and lay still, preparing for an OBE type exit. I spend a few seconds here and I begin to go deeper, but it's at this point that my wife sighs loudly, rolls over, and shakes me awake.
    11. False Awakening - Levitating a Curtain as a Reality Check

      by , 11-07-2014 at 12:25 AM
I woke up in my room (false awakening), but there were two things wrong; it was way too bright, and the window was on the wrong wall. As a reality check, I focused on the curtain and levitated it to the middle of room, and then it vanished. I figured great! Now I can go and explore my dream house! Btw, I’ve never managed to explore my house in a false awakening. I leaped from my bed in excitement, and then I woke up. Dang!
    12. 10/27/2014 - Untitled Fragment; "Coke Challenge"; "Superhero Scapegoat"

by , 11-06-2014 at 02:45 AM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)
(I was attempting to complete Hukif's Lucid Dare; challenging me to fight Spider-Man, without the aid of Lucid Powers. After waking up and doing a few brain-teasers, at about 5 a.m., I went back to sleep with the intention of finding and fighting Spider-Man.)

      10/27/2014
      Fragment One
      Untitled

I was at an outdoor festival with friends. A specific girl I was chilling with was absolutely gorgeous (tall, exotic, dirty-blonde hair. Reminded me a little of AP), and we were getting really cozy; hugged up on each other and dozing off while I was rubbing my fingers along her thigh.

      Dream Two
      "Coke Challenge"

I had a false awakening, where I woke in my Canterbury bedroom. There was barely any light coming in through the window, but I could tell that the room was different (from my present one), but couldn't recognize how. While I was trying to figure it out, a young boy walked into my room, immediately alarming me because I always keep my door locked when I sleep.

He stood in the shadows of the doorway, trying to grab my attention, talking about how I should come and try the "coke (cocaine) and [something?]" that he'd just made. I sat up in bed and started questioning him about who he was and how the Hell he got into my room. He seemed to try to avoid my questions, remaining suspiciously quiet and just standing at the open doorway.

"This is a dream, isn't it?" I asked, rhetorically.

The moment I became lucid, the dream transitioned (or ended).

      Dream Three
      "Superhero Scapegoat"

I was back with the girl from the original dream, and we were walking down the sidewalk of a city street. There was a bank, off to our left, and we turned to step inside...walking right into the middle of a bank robbery in progress.

The thieves were running in and out of the back of the bank, taking turns leaving carts of money for short periods, before coming back in and grabbing as much more as they could. I don't remember actually seeing any employees or customers. With one of the carts being near to us, my lady-friend and I simply couldn't resist grabbing onto the handles and rushing over to the door with the cart, trying to wheel the money out. (Not that I would have ever done that, in waking life, but it was just made sense, in the dream. Lol.)

There was some cloth hanging from the car (with a design on it like the gray and black plaid on my PJ pants) and it got stuck in a closing door on our way out. Before we could get ourselves unstuck, a man with a gun appeared before us. It was the alleged 'boss' of this operation, and he was looking to get onto us about trying to steal 'his' money. I also remember that there was some lackey helping him out, a midget who was dressed in some sort of animal costume. He didn't stay long, though.

The crime boss, ironically, turned us in to the police, convincing them that we were the ones who orchestrated and executed the entire heist. Strangely enough, though, he said that there was one other person helping us: Spider-Man.

While we were being escorted toward the police station, so was the Webslinger. He was surrounded by about a dozen officers with automatic weapons trained on him, walking solemnly toward the front steps of the precinct. I could see a large, armored vehicle nearby, which is what I think they delivered him in. Even with his mask on, I could tell by his body language that he seemed completely defeated and dejected while they ushered him to jail.

That's the last thing I remember.

      (Damn! So close! )
    13. False Awakened by Wife

      by , 11-05-2014 at 07:44 PM
I blew a perfect opportunity for a lucid dream by not recognizing a false awakening. In my dream I woke up because my wife was tapping me on the hip. I opening my eyes a little bit and saw her standing beside the bed. The room was dark, as it should be; and everything else looked exactly the same as waking life. She continued to tap me on the hip, but I didn’t want to get up because I was working on having a Wake Induced Lucid Dream - WILD. I continued to lie completely still and ignore her. I was thinking my alarm was set to get me up at the correct time, so why was she disturbing my sleep? She knows every morning I’m busy trying to lucid dream. She then sat down on the bed beside me with her hand on my hip. I continued to ignore her for the next 5 minutes until she finally left. After she left I repositioned, and then I started to think, why was she getting me up so early? Why was she up so early? This made no sense. I then thought maybe I had a false awakening. In the morning I asked her if she had tried to wake me up during the night, and she said, “No? Why?” I explained what had happened, and she gave me this ‘you’re nuts’ look. Anyway, the moral of the story is, ‘Don’t ignore your wife, or miss out on a LD!’ BTW, that’s the 2nd time this has happened in the last couple of months.
    14. 10/30/14, 10/31/14, 11/1/14 Very Aware 2nd Half of Night, Girl Friday

      by , 11-01-2014 at 09:46 PM
11/1/14 I feel myself back in bed and start getting a WILD-like transition. I feel myself floating just millimeters off of my bed with my wife's arm around me as if it is holding me from floating off. I am fairly sure her arm is also just part of the transition and will myself to float up further to make sure I am fully in the dream and not just imagining that I am feeling a little light. I then start willing myself to propel forward through the darkness and settle on attempting to arrive at my favorite grassy sea beach. I fly for a good while but eventually have a false awakening of my son making a good deal of noise downstairs. I have a good amount of awareness and memory and remember that he went to bed already and it is highly unlikely that he is having a loud conversation downstairs in the middle of the night and that I should be dreaming. I go out of my room and try to float down the stairs but maybe I kind of float inches above the staircase on the way down. When I get to the bottom I hear my wife coming out of the room upstairs and decide to do a float from my living room up into the vaulted ceiling with a view to the loft area to show off to my wife's DC (any doubt that I am dreaming is fully erased by this point). I hear more than one person in the family room and float back down to go in there and half expect to see my son and his college girlfriend and maybe have some fun with her. Instead, I see Girl Friday get off of the couch and my son is there also. I tell her to "come here, remember how you really wanted to (give me oral)?" She looks like she recollects the same and I whip it out and she starts doing an okay job with it in her mouth. I say "oh remember, you wanted to lick it" and she starts to lick it and it is very, very nice! I look over and say to my son "she is good" and my wife starts to come down and still fully lucid I tell her to check out what is happening. This eventually comes to an end and I wake. I then have a series of short dreams with continued good awareness, some lucid, some semi-lucid, some unclear as my recall wanes: cherry pie like treat, I pour milk over it and add cereal flakes; Outside my house and I note how realistic the trees look and how well the dream replicated how they look; re-coated aluminum pan at M Blvd, I start to write down my dreams so far (in the dream) first on the table cloth, then on an envelope (later did just that IWL) ; amusement ride, swinging boat, cameraman acting tough and taking video of guy in middle seats (less thrilling) yet he is also in the middle seats on the other side of the center of the boat; in the back seat of an SUV with a video game screen in the middle just behind the front seats; short dream with a distant explosion; lots of short forced dreamlets related to all of the beautiful women who will be at an even I am attending IWL. During this series of short dreams it felt like I was on the edge of wake/sleep in an unusual way and I was testing my state at times finding that I could transition out of a scene with my eye clenches with accompanying vibrations. Very odd and I felt much more on the dream side of things than when I am trying to do similar things after a WBTB or late awakening and getting more traditional dreamlets that seem to occur more on the waking side of the equation. Hopefully I was actually finding success in staying aware but away from my waking body at times when I would normally return to bed and wake up too much, hopefully bridging the gap between the now shorter gaps between REM periods. Possible reasons for good night of lucidity: repeatedly asking myself what was I dreaming (earlier in the night); daytime awareness work with more dream actions (like RRCIS); some playing with CanisLucidus' "looking for the dream" may have been key in getting good replications of my home featured in the Girl Friday lucid and the lucid moment outside of my house with the trees later. Will just count 2 lucids tonight. 223 & 224

10/31 early lucid. Sexy women around. "If this were a lucid dream, I would...ah...I am dreaming." I interact caveman style with several women before focusing on one turning her on with dirty talk and actions before doing some float-flying. 222

10/30 Exhilarating, romantic and sexual lucid with a younger woman with small breasts. I particularly enjoyed cupping her breasts much like early sexual experiences. 221
    15. Not Wanting to Sell Our Rabbits in Cubitis

      by , 10-28-2014 at 04:28 PM
Morning of October 28, 2014. Tuesday.

      Dream #: 17,480-02. Reading time: 1 min 20 sec.

I am in Cubitis. It seems to be around 1974, and I am about thirteen years old. The chicken shed is still a rabbit shed. We are going to be moving soon. (We did not move to Wisconsin until the last days of June of 1978.) There is a backstory regarding my unwillingness to accept our rabbits being sold (which seems to imply that we cannot move until we sell the business).

I am in our rabbit shed and see a man and woman in their thirties. They are possibly going to buy most or all of our rabbits. They are in the west area of our shed (that is bigger in my dream) as if I am on the set of a television studio news broadcast, even though I am only talking to them on the telephone.

There is an unseen presence of which I am unsure. It seems to be an older version of me or representing a narrator of my dream. I am told to act as if I am incompetent. As I talk to the buyers, I pretend to stutter and stop in the middle of sentences. I invent false scenarios about our rabbits and our shed. Still, they do not seem to be discouraged from buying. I talk about how mice mix with our rabbits. It seems to be one of the most ridiculous and off-putting things I can say. Eventually (through the uncovered lower area of the shed, between the columns), I notice rabbits hopping around outside and decide to go to the backyard after declaring that all of them are escaping, so there will not be any for them to buy.

I see my father, but I do not recall he died years ago. The physical orientation I feel is quite vivid at this point. From here, I enter the typical sensual stage of encountering a younger version of my wife and indulge in an embrace. In a false awakening of lesser vividness, I tell Zsuzsanna about this dream.
