    1. Oct. 24 Dream Journal: When people stop being polite, and people start getting real!

      by , 10-24-2013 at 08:16 PM
Dream one has me in a snowy town, possibly medieval Europe. I think it's the same town as the one from Disney's Beauty and the Beast, even though I've never seen the movie straight through, so I'm not even sure there was a snowy town in the movie. Anyways, it's night time, and there is an uneasy vibe going around. I'm sneaking from building to building, trying to avoid as much attention as possible, but every single building here has giant glass panes for a wall, and the interiors are well-lit by fireplaces. I only get as far as I could because no one bothered to tilt their heads and look outside. I can't say for certain, but I think the townspeople are afraid of me and would form a mob if they knew I'm back.

I finally duck into a wooden building, the only one where there aren't any giant windows. It is apparently the home of two sisters; they are both redheads in their early 20's, and they are dressed like extras from Fable. Dream Knowledge tells me one is evil, and the other is good. Evil sister pushes good sister towards me in a "take her, not me!" manner. Luckily (for her and my conscience), the dream fades before I can do anything horrible.

I'm next in a two-story house with eight or nine other housemates. Hijinks ensue in vignette format, but I can't tell/remember which order they go in for the most part. But the following happens:

-I accidentally hit an old hippy lady wearing dreads with a basketball while she is eating. She is annoyed, but not mad.
-One of my housemates is named Raj, and I work for him on his website downstairs in my office area. He is probably a dream version of my old boss.
-We cook some sort of a spaghetti dinner at a really long table together. The dinnerware are really colorful.

What I do know is that in the last vignette, I spar with Craig, who resembles a cross between Craig Robinson and the guy who plays Tyrese in The Walking Dead. Either way, Craig loves to watch 70's MMA on TV (yes, yes, my brain knows it doesn't exist back then. It just did that to troll the bros), and I'm the only one in the bunch that's willing to practice with him.

Sparring with Craig causes my dream to shift into a Battle Royale setting, and I'm one of the poor fools trapped inside a Japanese high school. Only, this school is built like a tower on an island, and is tall enough to reach into the sky (hey, not the most efficient architecture, guy who designed this school). There are apparently 999 levels, and my goal is to reach the very top. Fortunately, my dream posits me near the very top, though the dream fades before I could do anything.

    2. The Heart Stone

by , 07-14-2013 at 05:54 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      DreamLucidAwake

Because I tend to dream from the perspective of other dream characters fairly frequently now, I feel like it would be easier to understand my dreams if they were written in some sort of first person third person mix.

      The Heart Stone

This dream was from about 3 days ago, so I don't remember much of it anymore. I feel like it's important to the story though. Lucidis, Chris, and Claire were walking along a stone bridge above the sea. The bridge connected the mainland and a small island not too far off. On the small island was a stone tower. The tower was a sort of college where various things were studied and researched.

Lucidis was holding and looking at a strange stone as they walked. It was blood red and you could see into it a little. It looked like there was something at the core of the stone, but it was unclear. Lucidis had apparently come acquired this stone on a previous adventure, but I can't seem to recall that moment. Lucidis felt like the stone had some importance to it. Chris had suggested taking it to a geologist so that the stone could be identified.

Lucidis, Chris, and Claire crossed the bridge and entered the tower through an open doorway. They went down a set of stairs into a room below the tower. This was where the geologists did their research. There was only one man there who seemed to be the professor. He was sitting at his desk reading charts and graphs. He didn't notice them walk in until Lucidis placed the red stone in front of him.

Lucidis asked the professor to identify the stone and asked what he should do with the stone. The geologist studied the stone for a moment with a lense. If I remember correctly, he said that it was a heart stone. He then said that it should be taken to Efile. Lucidis had never heard of Efile before, so he asked the professor what Efile was. He layed a map of the world across the desk and simply pointed at a part of the map. Unfortunately the map was somewhat blurry and distorted, but a white country labeled Efile could be found in the south east corner of the continent.

There may have been other things that happened, but I think I woke up after looking at the map.

    3. Sandwiches for Skeptics

      Lucid #115: Sandwiches for Skeptics

I DEILDed during this dream and wound up really scrambling the beginning. Pity. Anyway, I think this was a DILD. I remember something about a prison, finding my way through an office building, and being attacked. Somewhere along the way, I find Wife and my oldest son E. My memory becomes very clear here: It's morning and I'm walking through an empty, gray city with Wife and our oldest son E. I hold E's hand as he bounces and scampers beside me, pointing and jabbering excitedly.

We pass under a bridge and walk up a sloped street. All around us are gray vacant lots, brownstone tenements, and the occasional piece of newspaper carried on the wind. The one swatch of color is a bus stop to our left that bears a beautiful ad for Arby's. Below the Arby's logo it reads, "Sandwiches for Skeptics".

I find this very amusing but also really unlikely to be the new Arby's slogan. I tell Wife that "I'll have to google that later" but she doesn't respond. I run my fingers over the sign, appreciating its detail. There are even some air bubbles underneath the paper as if it wasn't pasted down all that carefully. I take my time with this, thinking that it can only help to draw me into the dream.

Task of the Year occurs to me. I'm fired up about going to Angel Falls, and I imagine that it's out there, just past the vacant lot and a row of buildings. As I do, I see little sprays of water coming up from over the tops of the buildings. I'm amused that the "graphics" for this water are absolutely terrible. The little puffs of water look like repeated, low-resolution particle effects with no animation.

Okay, enough thinking. Time to fly. I consider summoning NewArtemis to join us but then remember that I need to stay focused -- I'm already trying to bring two DCs with me. A summoning is pushing my luck too much. I take to the air, still holding E's hand, and his reaction is surprisingly subdued. From the ground below, I hear Wife say, "Oh okay... bye, guys!"

"Just follow us!" I shout back to her.

There's no reply, though, so I focus on flight. Looks like it's just me and E now. As we fly high enough to look over the tops of the surrounding buildings, I see that the entire city rest atop a huge mesa that rises high above an ocean. At the edge of the mesa I see a waterfall -- Angel Falls!

The Falls are a long way off, so I focus on flying faster and faster. We get up some good speed, but the dream is starting to feel thin and insubstantial. All I can think to do is speed up, but I'm not fast enough. We're still about a quarter mile away from the falls when I feel the sensation (real or imagined) of my eyeballs moving around and
      I'm awake.

I relax and go for a DEILD. I quickly enter a new dream scene, flying again, but this time as an observer with no dream body. I'm on a long, spiraling slope built out of stone blocks. The sides are unwalled and I can see that this tower stretches far above the clouds. I slide smoothly upward along the slope, making at least 3 full revolutions. I'm aware that I'm dreaming but I make no attempt to exert control. I'm content to just know where the tower leads. I keep spiraling upward and either lose lucidity or slip into the darkness between dreams...
    4. Choke

      Lucid #101: Choke

I'm sitting in a car with Dad at a place that's a cross between Sonic and a Chinese take-out restaurant. We're pulled up next to one of those mic/speaker combos where you place your order and I'm debating whether to order sweet & sour chicken or just get a giant bucket of tater tots. (I don't actually eat like this. )

A guy who looks like Mako Iwamatsu sticks his head out of the main restaurant building and shouts something about "three orders of sweet & sour chicken". I get out of the car and approach to hear him better. Then Mako makes some remark about our order and something about dreaming. It's semi-amusing, so I chuckle politely and look up at the night sky. The stars look artificially bright and the moon has been replaced by a flying saucer! "This is a dream," I say, and immediately start walking.

I leave the restaurant parking lot, moving through an alley that dead-ends at an open door into a house. I go inside, exploring the house for a bit. It's nicely decorated and very realistic. I'm pleased with how vivid it looks -- classy carpeting, great lighting, really tasteful decor. I wonder why I suck so bad at decorating IWL if I can imagine scenes like this. It occurs to me that no matter how many LDs I have, part of me always thinks They can't really look that good, right? But they can and they do.

I'm a bit lost in the house and as I turn down one hallway, I suddenly find myself in a noisy European street scene. It feels like Germany. The fast transition surprises me and before I can think to speak gibberish to these DCs for Task of the Month, I round another corner and wind up back in the house again. Well that was weird.

For some reason this reminds me of my intent to get to the Alamo and meet up with Art. I decide getting outside will be the best way open up the map and get where I want. The closest internal wall of the house is brick (oddly enough), and without hesitating, I phase through it. There's nothing on the other side of the wall, though, and I wind up in the void.

Rubbing my hands together, I continue walking through the void. I imagine that I'm walking along a street outside. I can feel the roadway underneath my feet (which feel like they're in nothing but socks.) I keep walking forward, waiting for the new scene to form. After a while, I see a pattern of squareish lights that coalesces into the window of my darkened childhood bedroom. I leave immediately, phasing through the window into the street.

It's late at night and I'm outside on the street where I grew up. I try to figure out which way San Antonio (and the Alamo) would be from here... and totally get it wrong. When I look out at the horizon, I see a huge observation tower surrounded by some scaffolding, like it's under construction. Was there some kind of tower in San Antonio?
(Yes, it turns out -- the Tower of the Americas.)

I start to zoom-teleport to the tower but the moment I begin to move, I swallow my gum. Swallow my what?? Did I go to bed chewing gum? I try to remember, worrying that it's now lodged in my throat IWL and that I'm about to be in big trouble. I freak out and the scene goes black. I manage to calm myself at the last minute but the dream is too far gone and quickly ends.
    5. 22nd Feb 2013 Some strategy game

by , 02-22-2013 at 07:39 PM (Scionox's Journal of Dreams)
Pretty much downhill recall, mostly because i was having hard time sleeping for some reason, but hey, i still managed to recall something at least.

I was playing some military strategy game, i think i was playing vs another player and there were few AI controlled players as well. There were some problems with that AI and also i had some problems figuring out proper units to counter enemy units. I built air force and was pretty much ready to mass produce some sort of super weapon.
Later in the dream i was in some sort of tower building racing to the top.
    6. 1st Feb 2013 Huge tower, Lot of Pressure plates, Robot dancing

by , 02-01-2013 at 07:39 PM (Scionox's Journal of Dreams)
Not much today, only a few fragments.

      Dream 1:

I was in some village and there was huge tower. It was so huge that it reached the space, but after climbing to the higher layers some sort of drone ships started attacking the village so i had to go down. There were some anime characters protecting the village and i had ability to revive them.

      Dream 2:

I was in some sandcastle-like place and there were lots of pressure plates hidden around that needed to be pressed. Day/night cycle changed pretty quickly and there were some sort of undead attacking at night.

      Dream 3:

Some sort robot was dancing on the scene under music of my radio alarm(i woke up shortly).
    7. The Obsidian Tower

This was the second of two lucid dreams from the morning of New Year's Day.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #52: The Obsidian Tower

I'm in a doctor's office, waiting awkwardly nearby while he examines some patient that I don't know. I'm a bit bored, so I think about the morning's previous lucid dream and how close I came to not recognizing that I'm dreaming. Things start to feel strange to me, so I hit the nose-pinch and become lucid.

I walk out of the office into a hallway and start looking for "Exit" signs. I'm excited to see one at the end of the hallway. I follow it and happily, there's another leading me further on. A tightly-packed group of DCs strolls through the hallway, taking up the entire thing. I "excuse me, excuse me" my way through them and work my way to the next "Exit" sign. This one points me toward a stairwell.

I begin to worry that I'm very high up so I decide that I need to get downstairs as efficiently as possible. I leap over the railing, intent on jumping my way to the bottom. Unfortunately, I just land in an untidy heap. A lady walking up the stairs nearby yelps when I crash-land. She hurries toward me and asks, "Are you okay?" It's pretty embarrassing. I tell her, "Thanks, but you don't need to worry about me."

I hop back up and then leap over the next railing. It goes much better this time, and I hop all the way to the bottom like this, and it's probably 6-8 stories' worth of stairs. There's a long hallway at the bottom and as I walk along it, two boys of about 12 go running past me, one chasing the other. The boy in front is holding a handwritten note and the boy in pursuit says, "Give that back!" I stop them both, saying, "That's mine now", and pluck the note out of the first kid's hands. They register no objection to this and quickly wander away.

The note has 6 bullet points, each with a sentence. At the bottom is a phone number with the area code "666".
(Yikes!) I read every sentence and try to memorize them, but they're very random and strange. One was something about the sky. I really work at the memorization task but the content is so random that it feels hopeless. After I've read the note, I follow another "Exit" sign that leads me outside.

I'm in a large, outdoor courtyard on a foggy morning. Across the courtyard from me is an obsidian tower made entirely of glass. It rises high into the fog and its top is entirely out of sight. I remember my goal of seeing the Pyramid, but this tower has really grabbed my interest. I float up into the air and start guiding myself toward it. One lady in the courtyard shouts, "Wait, how are you so tall?" I wonder for a moment whether I'm just growing to an enormous height and not flying at all. I double-check -- nope, there are my feet. (Oddly, they are clad in loafers.)

I start involuntarily flying backward away from the tower instead of forward toward it. I decide to see what happens if I simply turn around and put my back to the tower. Fortunately, this works well and I keep drifting toward the tower (now at my back) as I rise. I whip through several layers of fog before perching on the tower's stone roof.

My friend AJ is seated up there, looking out over the city. "Congratulations!" she says. "It's a great view from up here." I have to agree. The sky is brilliantly red now, and somehow I can see the courtyard far below, almost as if the fog was one-way. I can in fact see a great deal of the city from here. I wonder whether the people that I'm looking at can see me back.

"So what am I doing all the way up here?" she says.

"I'm not sure, but I think you've got it pretty good. I had to work my ass off to get up here!"

She laughs and soon my vision fades to black. I try to DEILD but then AJ says, "Hey, you're actually still up here. You just can't see anything." I try to think about what I could do to get my sight back, but in a few more seconds,
      I'm really awake.

    8. Sep 13, 2012 - Bacolod Tower

by , 10-10-2012 at 05:54 AM (The Dream Magic Experiment)
      NOTE: Lotus + M

      1. A small town. A city. Bacolod. A tower. I went there with some people. A certain level. Photography studio and a bar. I am talking with some people. A bluish violet color of drapes or veil. I am talking with a guy named Dennis. I told them I am from Manapla. He said he's also from there but that he is moving to Los Banos. Watch people talk and go behind the veil. I see them doing some things behind the veil. A maze.

      2. I'm in a fast food restaurant. There are a lot of people. It's almost none. They cut up the chicken to make it smaller, since there are less people. There is a mother and son who arrived looking to buy food. The boy went into the counter and pointed at an Ajinomoto container. I'm in a small town. Manapla? Looking at the streets. A group of STRAP girls. Ms. Kaye is here. A village. A "stage" with laundry hung on the lines. A house. It's hot outside. I'm with another person. Unknown. I see it's Rev Ceejay's house. I see him cleaning. Caught his attention.

      3. I'm in a different place. It's night. We are having fun. Then JJ appeared. I'm surprised. The place is theirs. He invited us over. I told him I missed him and hugged him. Seems he's very busy. Woke up next day. I need to be somewhere. Can't find JJ. I am on the streets of Manila. I need to take a ride back to the city proper.
    9. September 8, 2012 - "Hide Under the Stars"

by , 09-30-2012 at 01:25 PM (The Dream Magic Experiment)
      September 8, 2012

I am with people. A hotel. A desert. Burning? I am falling. The Tower. I raise my hand and point up. The power of The Star. I stand. Running. Someone summoned a demon. H-A-B-R-A-T-O-S? I am running away? People are running away from it. In a house. I hide under the stairs. A woman was looking for me. I don't want her to find me. I wanted her away. If I am with her, the demon might find me as well. She sounded desperate. I just want her to go away.

      NOTE: Ghaddar. Marbas.
    10. Zelda Crossovers with Everything

by , 08-29-2012 at 03:17 PM (Fennecgirl's Collection of Dreams)
I was playing Spirit Tracks. It was at the part where Link and Zelda play the sacred duet before the final battle. Afterwards, instead of going onto the final battle, I was taken to a map screen (not the rail map). I had to choose one of three places - stay and fight Malladus, go to some place I can't remember now, or go to some strange tower (not the Tower of Spirits). I selected the tower.

When I entered the tower, it turned into a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon-esque game, though battles worked the same way as in the main series games (judging by the graphics, I'd say G/S/C). I can't remember what my main Pokemon was, but I ended up entering a battle with 1 HP left. I was afraid I might have to switch out to Zubat, which I really didn't want to, as I only used Zubat as an HM slave (I suppose I was on a one-Pokemon challenge).

Just as the other Pokemon had started to attack, I yelled out, "Stop!", pausing the battle. I searched desperately for any healing items I may have. Nothing. I reluctantly allowed the battle to continue. The wild Pokemon finished its attack, causing mine to lose its remaining hit point. However, it wasn't defeated, despite its remaining HP being displayed as "nil". It also gained a new move in the top slot (overwriting whatever was already there, I guess). I can't remember what the move was called, but it was a special move, only usable by Pokemon with no HP remaining (kind of like how Struggle can only be used by Pokemon with no PP on any move). I used this new move to restore more HP.

After the battle, I found myself in Vermillion City (you know, I think this may have been Pokemon Blue - there was little variation in colour, save for a bluish tint on everything now, and it had 8-bit graphics, of course). My Pokemon forgot its new move, which was replaced by Clamp.

Some point soon after, I woke up. I looked at the time - it was already 11:00! I got up, and, in the living room, I found a book that read "Oracle of Ages" on the side. I picked it up and looked at the cover. It appeared to be some crossover between The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and... Star Wars. I decided that was ridiculous and not worth reading.

I woke up again and looked at the clock. It was actually almost 7 AM.

I went back to sleep and had another dream in which I was in the car, thinking about another Zelda game - Minish Cap this time. This one happened to be a crossover with Vocaloid. I was trying to remember who I'd decided to play as (since I'd only borrowed the game, so I don't still have it). I had a feeling I'd picked Len, but then I thought I may have chosen Rin instead. I knew I'd picked one of the Kagamine twins.

Soon, we arrived at home. Inside, I saw my cat, Princess, sitting happily inside a large cardboard box (she loved boxes). I remembered that Princess died last fall and, realizing that it couldn't be her, asked my mom where this cat had come from. She told me she'd taken it in; it was a stray she'd found on our porch.

Next thing I knew, there were now two of these cats. At first, I thought that Princess had come to see the new cat, but, like before, I remembered that it couldn't be her because she was dead. Again, I asked my mom where the second cat had come from. Before she answered, I decided it would be a good idea to do a reality check, given the strangeness of the situation, but I woke up before I could.
    11. The Wizard and the Pigs

      by , 08-04-2012 at 02:25 PM
      5-ish a.m. had to pee

Sat in an outside restaurant with three people I know (don't know who). I felt that it was somewhere abroad. We tried to order but didn't get any food for a long time. We switched tables, and we had ordered with another name than the name we used when we complained, which led to mix-ups. At our new table the ground sloped heavily, and together with the waiters we tried to fix it by putting things under the legs of the table. We soon gave up though, and switches tables again.
      (---)
Later we were in a tower, where we were held prisoners by an unseen wizard. I tried too flee and the wizard soon appeared to chase me down. I ran faster than him though, but as soon as i looked away from him, he shapeshifted into different fastrunning creatures. Among other things he became a dog. He couldn't bite me though I somehow learned, and by feigning some i managed to run down a couple of stairs. He finally caught me though.
      (---)
I remember trading movies with someone. VHS, but I vaguely remember finding something interesting.

after peeing and jotting down some dream notes, i tried to WILD, but felt uncomfortable. After about half an hour i moved from the bed to the couch. More comfy, but i had a hard time concentrating on WILDing, after I while I gave up and just tried to fall asleep.

      9:08 a.m. on the sofa

Johanna and I was visiting a pig farm or something like that. The farmer showed us how to herd them into cages, feed them, and electronically elevate the cage up to the slaughter room. The floor on the cages had large holes so that the pigs had a hard time just keeping balance to keep them from jumping out of the roofless cage.

Johanna - Om jag var en gris skulle jag hoppat ur buren, skulle inte du?
Jag - Jag har ingen aning om hur jag skulle tänka om jag var en gris.
    12. Another Master Appears

by , 06-06-2012 at 10:40 PM (The Dream Magic Experiment)
A challenge. I was with some people. Two of us were pulled out by some kind of master. His clothing reminds me of Middle East, although he doesn't have a beard and all. He looks quite young, probably early 20s.

We're somewhere near a beach, with tall grasses. He pointed out the gigantic crab claws waving above the tall grasses. We're supposed to fight them. I got scared. I said something like, "You've got to be kidding me!" Then another set of claws appeared.

The master started clicking his fingers to call the giant crabs. I said wait, but started running back at the same time, and clicking my own fingers. I saw a lot of other claws appear. One giant crab finally went out of the grasses, which I assumed was their home. I went after my other companion and snapped its claws against him. Then it went after me. It's red and huge. I waved my arms to drive it away, and it went back to the other guy.

Finally, I used magic to send some sort of water wave against it. I don't know what logic I used, but I guess the crab was weak against it, because it drove it away. Then I started shooting water attacks against the rest of the giant crabs, until they became small (or went so far away as to look small).

Then I sensed a bigger danger. We hid inside and behind rock houses (yes, rock, not stone). We saw a HUGE lizard pass by.

Someone asked the master to stop the lizard, but he said no. It's still part of our training. That's why he timed it today. I think I somehow also knew the lizard would be coming today, which made me hesitant to use my powers earlier.

Somehow, I ended up outside with two others. The lizard was right ahead of us. I thought of summoning a wall, but decided to summon a tower around us. Then we flew up to the top. I saw the lizard down below. I shot it with a lightning spell, and it died.

Then I was in a town or village. A guy (the master?) was pouring soup into a plastic container, but it was so hot it melted it. We had to use an extra one. Had thoughts about salvation, and how our good works would not be enough. Got depressed at the thought. Snow?

My hometown. There was some sort of race. I wanted to join. I went home to get proper clothing. There's a sort of train there. My clothing were in a rectangular box. There were two of them. One contains files and books.

We normally share quite a lot, but I can tell there is something going on, that he's not sharing at the moment
      I'd like him to open up on what ever is going on, because I'm worried about him}

      (Non-Lucid)

I’m walking around a large glass topped 'observation deck' on top of a tall tower.
It has a glass floor as well, so I can see the city down below.
There are tables and chairs in the observation deck,

Theres a set of ornate (presumably lift) doors in a solid bit in the middle of the observation deck.. (the tower)
... My mate walks through the doors, and comes towards me purposefully..
... We give each other a big embracing hug
(I woudn't do that in waking life, even for a close friend...)
... He tells me "everything's going to be alright, and he needs to sort a few things out by himself"
... We go and take a seat at one of the tables, which I didn't notice before had a felt lined backgammon board in the table top
... We start playing backgammon (Don't know how to play waking life.. so must have made up the rules in my dream)
... While playing, we talk for a while about random/meaningless and irelevent/mundane stuff
..... Part way through the 'random' conversation he tells me how spending time together with a mate is what he needs right now
... We carry on chatting any playing
    14. Training Fury Mode; Taking Out the Trash (March 4, 2012)

      Training Fury Mode

The earliest thing I can remember is walking around an old tomb with Chris. I really don't know what it was. I was inside a man made tunnel with stone walls. I could tell it was made by an ancient civilization because there were hieroglyphics on pretty much everything. Judging by the different shapes and sizes of the stone ruins, I made an assumption that there used to be a city in the tunnel. I tripped over a large stone platform as I was walking through the rubble and hurt my leg.

"What are we even doing here?" I asked Chris.
"These are the Dreamer Base ruins. The tower should be somewhere nearby." He said.

I then remembered that Chris had told me something similar before. We were looking for something that would be inside an ancient tower.
I think I became lucid around this point from hearing "Dreamer Base". It must have triggered me to think about lucid dreaming. I got up off the ground and felt really excited about finding this mystery item. Then a giant green troll monster thing crashed through the wall. Chris pulled out his bow and started shooting at the troll. The arrows were about as effective as tooth picks. For some reason I felt like I was too weak to be able to fight this thing. I decided it would be best to run away from this thing.

It picked up a large brick and threw it towards Chris. I grabbed Chris, opened up a a portal to the void, and jumped in before the brick could hit him. I quickly opened a portal to somewhere near the ruins below us before the troll get in. We both fell through the portal, and as usual I landed on my face. When I got up and looked around, I was in a forest now. Right next to me was Chris and a large stone tower. I knew that whatever I was looking for would be at the top of the tower.

I ran through the entrance and started running up the spiral staircase. Chris followed right behind me. When I reached the top of the stairs, there was a little door on the ceiling. I pushed it open and we climbed onto the roof. The view from up there was pretty amazing. There was a pedestal resting on the center of the roof. I kind of just took a guess on what I needed to do. I pulled a red crystal out of my backpack and placed it on the pedestal. It glowed brightly for a moment and then stopped. Suddenly my energy sense activated and I felt more than just Chris's energy behind me.

I turned around and jumped back, expecting to have to fight something. A large red dragon landed next to Chris and stared at me. I relaxed and dropped my fighting stance because he didn't feel dangerous. He spoke to me, but I can't remember what exactly we talked about at first. I do remember the last half of the conversation though.

"I am here to train you." The dragon said.
"Sorry, but I already know how to use my fire element." I said.
"No, I'm going to teach you about the 'fury mode', as you like to call it."
"Hey! I got an idea! Let's call it the Woosh! Because of the sound it makes when you release it?" Chris said.

Chris left me no choice but to facepalm after hearing that statement. Even the dragon gave Chris a strange look.

      "Okay, never mind." Chris said.
"I thought you could only breathe fire." I said to the dragon.
"Yes, but I know how to gather fury energy to make it more powerful." He said.

The dragon stepped back a few feet, preparing to demonstrate. He became very focused and a red energy started to form around him. He focused the energy to his foot and then stamped his foot down on the ground. Hundreds of large and powerful fireballs rose up out of the floor and flew into the sky. The exploded and lit the sky up with a bright red light. After seeing that, it was obvious that he knew a lot about this technique. I was so amazed and ready to learn from him at that point. I stepped back to the other side of the tower and prepared for my training.

"Think of something that angers you while gathering fury energy." The dragon said.

He didn't speak to anymore, but it sort of felt like he was still guiding me through it passively. I thought of something that made me angry, but I can't remember what it was. The idea was to gather energy from my emotions to make myself more powerful. I focused on making my energy spike while trying to become a little angry. My body started glowing with a purple energy that felt warm. I then transformed into my stage 1 dragon form, which is the black dragon I usually transform into. I powered the energy up some more and it grew into a full aura around me. At this point I was trying reach a stage where my fury mode would become more powerful. When my energy spiked again I transformed into my stage 2 dragon form, which is a more powerful white dragon. The aura didn't grow any larger, but it definitely felt far more intense. Eventually I pushed on through to my final stage 3 dragon form, which is a purple dragon. Once again, the fury energy greatly increased in power and intensity.

"Good job. Try to calm down without losing your energy now." He said.

I put my arms down and allowed all of the muscles in my body to relax. I allowed my mind to calm down while at the same time focusing on the energy around me. When I did this, the fury energy hardly lost power and was still flowing through me. I was able to maintain this energy now without my mind filled with anger. It felt pretty amazing having so much power. I walked over to Chris to show him. He waved his hand through the aura and thought it was pretty cool. As we were playing with the aura, I sensed the energies of a group of below in the forest. The three of us walked over to the edge of the tower to take a look.

When I looked down I saw a group of 10 or more men in red robes. From that it became obvious that they were Draflam soldiers. I wasn't sure why they were coming towards the tower though. I think it may have been because they don't like me and want me dead.

"How would you like to use those Draflams as target practice?" The dragon said smiling.
"Sounds like a good idea to me." I said
"This is going to be fun to watch!" Chris said.

I jumped over the tower wall and spread out my wings. I flew down towards the group of Draflams and prepared for a fight. I breathed out that purple energy on a couple of them like my fire breath. They were covered with a purple fire and were soon vaporized. Most of them quickly ran towards the tower, but one tried running away. I grabbed the fleeing Draflam and flew him right into the tower wall. I then flew right back towards the entrance and fired out a ball of fury energy in front of it. A few Draflams got inside the tower, but I blasted away the rest of them. I flew through a hole in the tower and landed on the staircase in front of them. They shot fireballs at me, but I created a shield around me out of fury energy. I then blasted out a wave of energy in front of me and killed the last of the soldiers.

I flew back up to the top of the tower. I deactivated my fury mode and walked over to Chris and the dragon. The congratulated me for completing my training. I think I woke up after this point though.

      Taking Out the Trash

This was a very short dream. My mother told me to take a bag of garbage out to the field to burn it. So I carried the bag out to the field. I pulled out a lighter to burn the trash, but it wasn't working. I became lucid at this point for some reason. Probably because being in a field is somewhat of a common dream sign for me. I decided the lighter was useless so I just tossed it over my shoulder. I held my hand out towards the garbage and lit in on fire. Magic makes everything so much easier. I think I was hit by a random car shortly after this. Why must my dreams end in stupid ways like that?

    15. Clinic at a University

I'm at a University. The building is huge and complex, but I seem to know my way. I'm leaving but remember that I have no coffee at home and decide to find a place to by some. There's one inside the university building, so I turn back and try to find it. I take stairs up and they turn out to be winding stairs that go to the top of a tower. No coffee there, but I find myself at the reception of a doctors office.

I'm at the doctors office, a nurse is checking my knees. There is some blood on them, but I think it's actually about the joints wearing down. She wants to run some tests and needs to take some blood. I'm not worried but there is a change I might need surgery.
